- 0:00Speaker 1: Prime Minister says that they will be implementing retaliatory terroiffts
- 0:03Speaker 1: you said that word to happen, that you would be
- 0:06Speaker 1: responding with large scale tariffs, Will you be following through
- 0:09Speaker 1: with that promise?
- 0:11Speaker 2: Well, absolutely, But we had a very good conversation. Mark
- 0:16Speaker 2: called me today at ten o'clock. We put out a statement.
- 0:19Speaker 2: We had a very very good talk. He's going through
- 0:21Speaker 2: an election now and we'll see what happens. But we
- 0:26Speaker 2: are We have Liberation Day, as you know, on April second.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Because and I'm not referring to Canada, but many countries
- 0:34Speaker 2: have taken advantage of us, the likes of which nobody
- 0:37Speaker 2: even thought it was possible for many, many decades, for decades,
- 0:40Speaker 2: and you know that has to stop. We're going to
- 0:43Speaker 2: end up with a very good relationship with Canada and
- 0:45Speaker 2: a lot of the other countries. Some we probably won't,
- 0:47Speaker 2: it won't be so pleasant. But with I think most
- 0:52Speaker 2: countries will are agreeing with me. They actually many of
- 0:55Speaker 2: them have actually apologized. They said, look, we have taken
- 0:59Speaker 2: advantag and I don't blame them as much as I
- 1:02Speaker 2: blame the people that stood in this case. I can
- 1:05Speaker 2: say the men because so far They've been all men,
- 1:08Speaker 2: haven't they. But the men that sat right there and
- 1:10Speaker 2: behind the Resolute desk, mostly the Resolute desk. You know,
- 1:15Speaker 2: I don't know if you know. You have a choice
- 1:16Speaker 2: of seven desks. The Resolute is the one I like,
- 1:19Speaker 2: but some chose other ones. But they sat right behind
- 1:23Speaker 2: a desk, right in this location, and they let our
- 1:27Speaker 2: country be hurt very badly. But I didn't do that.
- 1:31Speaker 2: So but we had a very good talk, the Prime
- 1:34Speaker 2: Minister myself and I think things are going to work
- 1:37Speaker 2: out very well between Canada and the United States. Yeah,
- 1:39Speaker 2: please God, mister President, how the talks with India or
- 1:42Speaker 2: tariff going on?
- 1:44Speaker 3: And what is the expectation for media?
- 1:46Speaker 2: How much do you want to do well? You know,
- 1:47Speaker 2: Prime Minister Moti was here just recently and we we've
- 1:50Speaker 2: always been very good friends. India is one of the
- 1:54Speaker 2: highest tariffing nations in the world. You know that. I
- 1:58Speaker 2: thank you for shaking your head. But it's it's brutal,
- 2:01Speaker 2: it's brutal. They're they're very smart and he's a very
- 2:04Speaker 2: smart man and a great friend of mine. Actually, uh,
- 2:08Speaker 2: And we had very good talks. I think it's going
- 2:10Speaker 2: to work out very well between India and our country
- 2:13Speaker 2: very very well. And I want to say, you have
- 2:15Speaker 2: a great prime minister. A very serious earthquake in Burma
- 2:20Speaker 2: and today just several hundred killed.
- 2:24Speaker 3: They the military regime that has asked for help from anybody.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah, we're going to be helping. You've already alerted the people.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Yet it's terrible what's happened. It's helping. We've already spoken
- 2:35Speaker 2: with the country.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Okay, mister president.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Mister president, yesterday you asked Representative Steponock to stay in
- 2:41Speaker 4: her seat.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Can you explain your reason for that?
- 2:43Speaker 4: And didn't have anything to do with the tight polling
- 2:46Speaker 4: in the Florida district that former represented.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Waltz help and I think we're doing Yeah, I think
- 2:53Speaker 2: we had. As you know, we have a few elections
- 2:55Speaker 2: going on, and she is phenomenal. Number one, she's a
- 2:58Speaker 2: friend of mine, and she was going to go to
- 3:00Speaker 2: the United Nations and I said, look, there's a lot
- 3:03Speaker 2: of room for doing that or something else. But she's
- 3:06Speaker 2: very popular in her district and I didn't want to
- 3:09Speaker 2: take a chance. I don't even know who else is running.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I assume somebody else would have been running. But if
- 3:14Speaker 2: she runs, she can't be You never want to say
- 3:17Speaker 2: can't be beaten, but I think can't be beaten. She's very,
- 3:20Speaker 2: very well liked and very smart. And I said, at
- 3:24Speaker 2: least would you do me a favor. We cannot take
- 3:27Speaker 2: a chance. We have a slim margin. We don't want
- 3:30Speaker 2: to take any chances. We don't want to experiment. And
- 3:33Speaker 2: she polls like I do. I want her district, as
- 3:37Speaker 2: you know, by a lot of points, and she also
- 3:39Speaker 2: does very well there. When it comes to Florida, you
- 3:42Speaker 2: have two races and they seem to be good. It's
- 3:46Speaker 2: a Trump plus thirty two area. The one thing is
- 3:50Speaker 2: they're spending like twelve million dollars and our candidate doesn't
- 3:53Speaker 2: have that kind of money, spending much less than that,
- 3:55Speaker 2: like maybe one twelfth about a million dollars, a little
- 3:59Speaker 2: bit more than a million dollars. So the airwaves are blanketed,
- 4:03Speaker 2: and you never know what happens in a case like that.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I want it by thirty two points, and it's very
- 4:09Speaker 2: very strong. It used to be Democrat, but when I
- 4:13Speaker 2: came along, they liked me. For whatever reason. You'll have
- 4:15Speaker 2: to explain that, but they liked me. We're way up,
- 4:18Speaker 2: but you don't know what happened second district, who seems
- 4:23Speaker 2: to be in pretty good shape, but likewise he's being
- 4:26Speaker 2: outspent about five to one. So we don't want to
- 4:29Speaker 2: take any chances. So I went to at Lease and
- 4:31Speaker 2: I said, at least you mind very highly rated person.
- 4:36Speaker 2: You know, she was a real leader and she will
- 4:39Speaker 2: be again. I spoke with Mike Johnson. They're going to
- 4:41Speaker 2: put her in a high leadership position, but will you
- 4:43Speaker 2: mind staying in Congress because we don't want to take
- 4:46Speaker 2: any chances. And it's as simple as that. It's basic politics.
- 4:49Speaker 2: It's politics. One on one, she's very popular, she's going
- 4:52Speaker 2: to win, and somebody else will probably win two because
- 4:55Speaker 2: we did very well there. I did very well there,
- 4:57Speaker 2: but the word probably is no good. So I really
- 5:01Speaker 2: appreciate her doing it. She's doing me a big favor
- 5:05Speaker 2: when she does it, because she was all set to
- 5:07Speaker 2: go to the United Nations and she would have dealt
- 5:10Speaker 2: with Putin and Zelenski and everybody else, and she would
- 5:13Speaker 2: have been very effective. But we really want to don't.
- 5:17Speaker 2: We don't want to take any chances because it is tight. Here.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Go ahead, please, thank you, sir.
- 5:23Speaker 5: You and your team apprehended a top three leader in
- 5:26Speaker 5: the violent gang and its thirteen yesterday, just.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Thirty minutes outside of Washington, d C.
- 5:31Speaker 4: What has made you and your team so effective in finding, locating, apprehending,
- 5:36Speaker 4: and deporting these violent illegal miroes.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I love this guy. I wish more people would ask
- 5:43Speaker 2: questions like that. Thank you. That's very nice, Ireate, and
- 5:46Speaker 2: they happen. All you're doing is being fair with you
- 5:49Speaker 2: when you ask a question in that way. Pambondi and
- 5:53Speaker 2: Cash Patel and all of the rest of law enforcement,
- 5:56Speaker 2: and I think we have to include ICE and Border Patrol,
- 6:00Speaker 2: you know, Paul of the whole group from Border patrol.
- 6:03Speaker 2: There's so incredible and it's you know, dangerous stuff, hard stuff,
- 6:08Speaker 2: and it's really an unforced era because these people were
- 6:11Speaker 2: allowed into this country. They shouldn't have been in this country.
- 6:14Speaker 2: They would have never been in this country. We're getting
- 6:16Speaker 2: rid of some of the worst criminals in the world.
- 6:18Speaker 2: They came out of jails and mental institutions from all
- 6:21Speaker 2: over the world. But Pam and the whole group, and Cash,
- 6:26Speaker 2: who's here, and it's so good to have him. He's
- 6:28Speaker 2: I see him all over He's working twenty four hours
- 6:31Speaker 2: a day. But the job they've done is incredible and
- 6:34Speaker 2: they caught one of the worst criminals in the world.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I guess in terms of evilness, you don't get any
- 6:42Speaker 2: worse than the MS thirteen guys and the trend the
- 6:45Speaker 2: Iragua guys. You could flip a coin. It's a rough group,
- 6:49Speaker 2: and you know, the big thing is they have to
- 6:51Speaker 2: be able to do their job. I know. I saw.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I was watching on television like you, and I saw
- 6:57Speaker 2: the home that he lived in a good area, but boy,
- 7:01Speaker 2: they had a lot of weaponry in there, right, highly sophisticated,
- 7:05Speaker 2: really brutal stuff. So I appreciate the question, and I
- 7:09Speaker 2: just want to thank Cash and Pam and the whole
- 7:12Speaker 2: group of doing a vent and the local law enforcement
- 7:14Speaker 2: who has been so terri even first responders. So I
- 7:19Speaker 2: want to thank everybody and thank you very much.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Sur President Happy.
- 7:24Speaker 6: I want to say, first of all, happy Women's Month.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Thanks so much for women by first of all keeping
- 7:30Speaker 6: men out of women's sports, and you've platformed so many.
- 7:32Speaker 2: It was an easy one that you've platformed so many
- 7:35Speaker 2: great women, like your chief of chief of staff, Susie Wilds.
- 7:38Speaker 7: You also have Carol.
- 7:39Speaker 6: I love it doing a great job as press secretary,
- 7:41Speaker 6: now Alena, who will be joining as well. Since Democrats
- 7:43Speaker 6: seemed to struggle answering this question, I wanted to ask you,
- 7:46Speaker 6: what is a woman and why is it important that
- 7:48Speaker 6: we understand the difference between men and women.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Well, it's sort of easy to answer for me, because
- 7:53Speaker 2: a woman is somebody that can have a baby under
- 7:56Speaker 2: certain circumstances. She has a quality. A woman is a
- 8:00Speaker 2: person who's much smarter than a man I've always had.
- 8:04Speaker 2: A woman is a person that doesn't give a man
- 8:07Speaker 2: even a chance of success. And a woman is a
- 8:10Speaker 2: person that in many cases has been treated very badly.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Because I think that what happens with this crazy, this
- 8:17Speaker 2: crazy issue of men being able to play in women's
- 8:20Speaker 2: sports is just ridiculous and very unfair to women and
- 8:24Speaker 2: very demeaning to women. And that's got to be about
- 8:26Speaker 2: a ninety four percent. I read today it was a
- 8:29Speaker 2: ninety four percent issue, and I watched the other day
- 8:31Speaker 2: I watched congressman, a Democrat congressman, fighting for the fact
- 8:37Speaker 2: that men should be allowed to compete essentially in women's sports,
- 8:42Speaker 2: and I say, I hope they keep that going because
- 8:45Speaker 2: they'll never win another election. That's a big deal. But
- 8:48Speaker 2: women are basically incredible. People do so much for our
- 8:51Speaker 2: country and we love we love our women, and we're
- 8:54Speaker 2: going to take care of our women. Yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Reason, what was your reason for pardoning Trevor?
- 9:02Speaker 2: Highly recommended by many people, that was taken advantage of.
- 9:08Speaker 2: He did a business deal like in Utah's. I have it,
- 9:12Speaker 2: and I think he was exonerated. And then they brought
- 9:16Speaker 2: him into New York. Whe had a rough, rough road
- 9:21Speaker 2: and rode. I mean, he was exonerated. It was a
- 9:24Speaker 2: big celebration. Again, I don't know him, but I was.
- 9:28Speaker 2: They say it was very unfair, and they say the
- 9:31Speaker 2: thing that he did wrong was he was one of
- 9:33Speaker 2: the first people that supported a gentleman named Donald Trump
- 9:37Speaker 2: for president. He supported Trump. He liked Trump. I didn't
- 9:40Speaker 2: know him, but he liked him. It was in Utah
- 9:43Speaker 2: and they went after him. They went after his family,
- 9:46Speaker 2: they went after his businesses, and he was I believe, exonerated.
- 9:51Speaker 2: And then they went after him again and they brought
- 9:53Speaker 2: him this time into Manhattan and he had nothing to
- 9:56Speaker 2: do with Manhattan and they got him. And I said,
- 10:00Speaker 2: that's unfair. There are many people like that. They support Trump,
- 10:04Speaker 2: and they went after him. You don't realize this is
- 10:06Speaker 2: a vicious group of people that were in this office
- 10:09Speaker 2: before us. This is a vicious group. They're violent. What
- 10:12Speaker 2: they would what they were doing to people, And you
- 10:15Speaker 2: could go story after hundreds and even thousands of stories. Uh.
- 10:21Speaker 2: And they went after this man. And when I heard
- 10:24Speaker 2: about it, I said, Nope, not going to happen. They persecured,
- 10:28Speaker 2: they destroyed five years of his life. He went fought
- 10:31Speaker 2: for five years of his life, and he did nothing wrong,
- 10:34Speaker 2: and he's a good person. And basically I had these
- 10:38Speaker 2: fantastic recommendations about him from people that you know very well,
- 10:43Speaker 2: all top of the line people. They thought it was
- 10:45Speaker 2: a horrible thing. There were there are many such cases,
- 10:47Speaker 2: by the way, many such cases ahead.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Thank you, miss Brosdy.
- 10:55Speaker 7: Have you thought of her putin about buying weapons from
- 10:58Speaker 7: Iran and from North Korea?
- 11:00Speaker 2: Not about specifically that now, I haven't seems to be.
- 11:03Speaker 3: An issue that you want to make important.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Is well, I'm making all issues important. You got a
- 11:08Speaker 2: lot of important issues. You also have the children issue
- 11:10Speaker 2: that's important. You know a lot of children are living
- 11:15Speaker 2: in Russia right now. That's a horrible situation that would
- 11:18Speaker 2: have never taken place of and the country is being decimated,
- 11:23Speaker 2: but you know they're losing two thousand, five hundred or
- 11:26Speaker 2: average young men, mostly men almost in all cases men actually,
- 11:32Speaker 2: but young men every single week, two thousand and five hundred.
- 11:36Speaker 2: And they're not from our country. They're from Ukraine and
- 11:39Speaker 2: they're from Russia. But it's human lives and if we
- 11:42Speaker 2: can get it stopped, and I think we're making progress,
- 11:45Speaker 2: but there's a lot of ill will between the parties.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Should Americans buy cars now if they want to avoid
- 11:54Speaker 1: higher prices and then just I don't think so.
- 11:56Speaker 2: I think you're going to have a country that's going
- 11:58Speaker 2: to boom. Just spoke to Tim Cook of Apple. He's
- 12:01Speaker 2: investing five hundred billion dollars in the United States, which
- 12:04Speaker 2: he would have never He told me, I would never
- 12:07Speaker 2: have done it if you lost the election, and I
- 12:09Speaker 2: would have never done it if there wasn't a tariff system.
- 12:12Speaker 2: That is an incentive for people to come. And remember
- 12:16Speaker 2: there are no tariffs. All you have to do is
- 12:18Speaker 2: do your work right here. If you have your company here,
- 12:21Speaker 2: if you build your product, make your product, make your
- 12:24Speaker 2: car or whatever it is, you're making no tariffs. And
- 12:27Speaker 2: we're going to have I think Scott I would say
- 12:30Speaker 2: we're close to four trillion dollars, even going close to
- 12:33Speaker 2: five trillion. Now, we haven't had that for years, if
- 12:39Speaker 2: you add up years, they haven't invested like that, And
- 12:42Speaker 2: here we are in two months. We think we're up
- 12:44Speaker 2: to close to five trillion dollars of investment. They're going
- 12:46Speaker 2: to build car plants, they're already building. Many of them
- 12:49Speaker 2: have already started. And if you build a car in
- 12:52Speaker 2: the United States. And one thing that we just I
- 12:54Speaker 2: just spoke with John Thune about I just spoke to
- 12:58Speaker 2: Mike Johnson about speaker. We're going to do something that
- 13:02Speaker 2: has never been done in this country before. I'm very
- 13:04Speaker 2: proud to say it was my idea. And so sometimes
- 13:07Speaker 2: a simple idea, they say, how'd you think of that one?
- 13:09Speaker 2: It's so simple, it's never done. If you buy a
- 13:12Speaker 2: car in the United States that's made in the United States,
- 13:15Speaker 2: if it's a manufactured here. When you borrow money, if
- 13:18Speaker 2: you borrow money, you have interest payments, We're going to
- 13:21Speaker 2: let you deduct the interest payment for income tax reasons.
- 13:24Speaker 2: And I think that's going to more than pay for itself.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I think people are going to be they've never had
- 13:29Speaker 2: a deduction, you know, deductions are supposed to be for
- 13:32Speaker 2: rich people, and it's unfair to have that, But rich
- 13:36Speaker 2: people are I think I know more about deductions than
- 13:39Speaker 2: any human being on earth. But you know the truth
- 13:42Speaker 2: is that people that are middle income people that buy
- 13:45Speaker 2: a car and actually have to borrow money, they're going
- 13:48Speaker 2: to now get an interest deduction on their car if
- 13:51Speaker 2: it's made in the United States. If it's made someplace else,
- 13:54Speaker 2: that won't take place. But car companies, as you know,
- 13:57Speaker 2: are already expanding and building new places. They've already started.
- 14:01Speaker 2: And I think you're going to see numbers. Howard you're
- 14:04Speaker 2: seeing it, and Scott you're seeing it. You're going to
- 14:07Speaker 2: see numbers the likes of which you've never seen before. Yeah,
- 14:10Speaker 2: please go President.
- 14:12Speaker 3: The Vice president is in Greenland right now.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Do you have plans to expand US military presence in Greenland?
- 14:19Speaker 2: Is that very well with Greenland? We get along very
- 14:23Speaker 2: well with Denmark. We've always had a good way Denmark.
- 14:25Speaker 2: There's a lot of business in the United States. We
- 14:28Speaker 2: don't do so much there, but they do a lot
- 14:30Speaker 2: of business in the United States, and I think they
- 14:33Speaker 2: want to see I think everybody wants to see that workout.
- 14:36Speaker 2: We need Greenland very importantly for international security. We have
- 14:42Speaker 2: to have Greenland. It's not a question of do you
- 14:44Speaker 2: think we can do without it. We can't. If you
- 14:47Speaker 2: look at Greenland right now, if you look at the waterways,
- 14:50Speaker 2: you have Chinese and Russian ships all over the place,
- 14:53Speaker 2: and we're not going to be able to do that.
- 14:55Speaker 2: We're not relying on Denmark or anybody else to take
- 14:58Speaker 2: care of that situation. We're not talking about peace for
- 15:02Speaker 2: the United States, we're talking about world peace. We're talking
- 15:04Speaker 2: about international security. And right now you look at it,
- 15:09Speaker 2: you have warships all over the place going through right
- 15:12Speaker 2: along Greenland. We're not going to let that happen. We
- 15:15Speaker 2: cannot let that happen. Or if it's going to happen,
- 15:18Speaker 2: we have to be protective of our country and more important,
- 15:23Speaker 2: really protection not only of our country, of the world.
- 15:25Speaker 2: So Greenland is very important in modern day weaponry makes
- 15:29Speaker 2: Greenland one hundred years ago less so. But also if
- 15:35Speaker 2: you notice, if you notice also some of those you
- 15:39Speaker 2: could call them roadways, Okay, they're water roadways, but some
- 15:43Speaker 2: of those areas are opening up, and they're opening up
- 15:47Speaker 2: ice breakers out there. They're opening them and by just
- 15:50Speaker 2: nature they're opening up and they're headed right into China,
- 15:53Speaker 2: right into Russia, and we have no choice. The answer
- 15:58Speaker 2: is he's there with his wonder a full wife Usha.
- 16:01Speaker 2: They're there right now. They landed a couple of hours ago,
- 16:04Speaker 2: and they will represent us well. But Greenland is very
- 16:07Speaker 2: important for the peace of the world, not the peace
- 16:11Speaker 2: of the entire world. And I think Denmark understands it.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I think the European Union understands it. And if they don't,
- 16:18Speaker 2: we're going to have to explain it.
- 16:19Speaker 7: To Iranian drones are attacking and killing Ukrainians every day.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Why are you doing something about that?
- 16:30Speaker 2: Well, we're going to see what happens with that. I'm
- 16:32Speaker 2: getting reports on that and we're looking at a report.
- 16:35Speaker 2: You're right, Uh, they make a lot of drones. Iran
- 16:38Speaker 2: makes a lot of drones. They make very effective drones too.
- 16:40Speaker 2: They do very effectively at some things. But uh, Iran
- 16:45Speaker 2: is very high on my on my list of things
- 16:48Speaker 2: to watch. And as you probably know, I sent them
- 16:51Speaker 2: a letter just recently and I said, you're gonna have
- 16:55Speaker 2: to make a decision one way or the other, and
- 16:58Speaker 2: we're gonna either have to talk and talk it out
- 17:00Speaker 2: or very bad things are going to happen to Iran
- 17:03Speaker 2: and I don't want that to happen. Big preference and
- 17:07Speaker 2: I don't say this through strength or weakness. My big
- 17:10Speaker 2: preference is we work it out with a Ran. But
- 17:13Speaker 2: if we don't work it out, bad, bad things are
- 17:16Speaker 2: going to happen to Iran. Okay, thank you very much, everybody, Thank.
- 17:19Speaker 3: You, thank you, thank you, thank you.
