Lucketts Gets Safer Sidewalks and Crosswalks | Richmond News
Virginia DOT just finished a major safety upgrade on Route 15 in Lucketts, installing a new sidewalk with grass buffer, curb, and gutter, plus a crosswalk and signals at Stumptown Road. A traffic-calming bump-out near Lucketts Elementary now connects to a relocated crosswalk, shortening crossing distance for students. The $4.24M project—funded by federal and state dollars—was completed ahead of schedule and under budget, making walking safer for the whole community.
