Lord God Almighty, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ you

wall. Shekinah, glory, Father, we pray

God that you will teach us and you will guide us.

Holy Spirit, give us discernment for this hour.

Help us to see the world around us the way that you do.

Help us to memorize and live by the word that you have given us,

the Rhema. We thank you, God, for all the

many blessings that you've given us.

We enter in with praise and Thanksgiving.

We come running in to the throne room of grace.

Lord, help us to gird up our loins so that we can stand in

And it's in Jesus Christ, holy and precious and lovely and

worthy and glorious name that I pray.

Amen. Let's start in verse one.

Now we beg you, brothers, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ

and by our gathering together to him.

So we're going to start talking about the day of the Lord.

We're going to start talking about the man of sin.

And Paul has alluded to this in previous texts and here he is

wanting to drill it down. He's wanting to solidify it.

This is where we get so much of our eschatology.

He has already written many times, and it was for him it was

very simple because he was rooted and grounded in the Old

Testament. And he could see when Isaiah

talked about the day of the Lord and he could see it and it was

as plain as the nose on his face.

And he had to expound upon it for these Gentile converts.

And it's the same for us today. We're trying to catch up.

We are just the wild that has been grafted in.

And how much more blessed is it to be the natural branch grafted

back into the natural tree, friends.

And that is the beauty of being a Messianic Jew, one who has the

foreknowledge of the Old Testament.

And their whole life has been rooted and grounded in all of
5:38
the teachings of the Pentateuch, so much of the Septuagint

friends. And they have learned it and
5:45
they know it. And it is their whole entire
5:48
life. And they are centered around it

with all of the festivals. And as they come in the same way
5:55
that we have to come in through Jesus Christ, it is as if the

light bulb goes off and they get to look back at all of the Old

Testament prophecies that pointed to every single bit of

it, and they see that Jesus had to come as a little baby.

It was prophesied that He would come as the suffering servant.

And now that He is gone into glory, friends, we await His
6:24
magnificent return in power, which is what they had
6:28
anticipated in the 1st Advent. But they missed the mark
6:32
friends, and they murdered their Messiah.

And now we as the Gentile converts we have seen and we are
6:39
eternally blessed because of their disobedience and is the
6:43
jealousy of seeing the Gentiles coming in that provokes the Jews
6:48
back into a right relationship with Yahweh by acknowledging
6:53
Jesus Christ as their long-awaited Messiah.

And here Paul is putting all the pieces of the puzzle together

and he wants to remind them and say, listen, friends, lock in.

This is very important. Don't be deceived.

And Paul's going to expound upon the principles that he's already
7:17
taught upon. He taught them when he was there

with them for the little three weekend spat, and here he is
7:25
writing them a second letter because it has come to his
7:29
knowledge that they have somehow been deceived by people who have
7:35
started to tell them that the seven-year tribulation has
7:43
already started. And Paul wants to clarify.

And he doesn't want them to be duped and LED astray and tricked
7:51
and deceived into believing that they are already in the
7:55
seven-year tribulation. Let's see what he has to say

about the day of the Lord in this man of sin.

Two, that you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither

by spirit nor by word, nor by letter, as from us, as that the

day of Christ is at hand. He's saying do not be deceived.

We did not write those uninspired letters that people
8:31
want to attach to you. He's saying they were forgery

and they were not from us. The day of the Lord has not come

yet, and he's going to explain what we ought to be looking for

to mark the calendar, to mark the day.

Whenever all of the seven years starts, and it will be after the

catching up of the church, the church will go up first.

And a lot of what you're seeing in Thessalonians is two separate
9:11
comings of the Lord. One is whenever he meets us in
9:16
the clouds. The second is whenever he comes
9:19
in power and glory and he slays all of the wicked with the
9:24
breath of his mouth, with the two edged sword from his mouth

at Megiddo. And then he will be instilled
9:31
and installed as the king of Zion in Jerusalem to rule and to
9:36
reign for 1000 peaceful years. And, and we look forward to
9:41
that, but there is still much work to do.

And we can err on the side of just like these Thessalonians of

thinking, well, let's just take it easy and let's just let
9:57
things happen. And that is not the heart of

God. He wants us in the harvest.

He wants us planting all of the seeds, scattering all of the

seeds. He wants us putting our hand to
10:10
the plow. There's still much more work to

do. And Paul is going to talk about

the idleness. He's going to talk about the

laziness. And God does not desire for us

to be lazy in our witnesses, friends.

And that is what Paul wants them to be proactive about, friends,

and not to be deceived into thinking that it is time to put

our feet up and to relax. Three, let no man deceive you by
10:44
any means, for that day shall not come, except there come a
10:52
falling away 1st and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
11:01
perdition. What's he talking about here?

Friends? Don't be deceived.

Don't let any single person, no matter how articulate they are,
11:11
no matter how eloquent they are, no matter how polished they are,

let no man, let no sect, let no congregation, let no
11:23
denomination, let no person on planet Earth, no human being on

planet Earth, deceive you. This is the most important thing

is that we get rooted and grounded in God's Word and that
11:40
we know it and that we memorize it and that we hide it in our
11:44
hearts. Friends, do not fall into the
11:48
deception that we can be spoon fed by leaders.

We need the Word of God more than we need our next breath.

And we need to be in it friends. And we need to know it, friends,
11:59
we need to be safeguarded from the deception that comes from
12:04
the ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing.

And He tells us the day will not come unless there be a falling

away first. He's talking about the apostate
12:17
church, friends. And cannot you see it?

Can't you see it, friends? It's all around us.

It's everywhere. There are so many false
12:26
teachers. There are so many false
12:28
prophets. There are so many false
12:30
denominations. There are so many false leaders,
12:35
friends, and they are propagating at the alarming mass

rate of all of the heresy and it is leading droves away.

And it is because they have chosen to go that way.

They have chosen to take the route of easy, to take the route
12:59
of what is culturally acceptable.

They have the fear of man has gripped them and they do not
13:06
want to be politically incorrect.

They do not want to be landed with any charges against them.

They do not want to be labeled as hateful friends.

And so they go in the way that seems easy, but it is the way of

destruction. In the end, this apostate church

must come 1st and you're seeing it all shaped up in our hour and

our day. Friends.

It's all around and it doesn't take much to see it.

Friends. It is very, very prevalent and
13:41
it is mainstream, friends. And it is disgusting and it is
13:46
deplorable, friends, And it is not pleasing to a holy God.

He desires for us to know His Word.

He desires for us to tell others about what the Word of God says,

not what does man say, not what does the government say, not

what does your leaders say. It is what does the Word of God

say. And we will always obey the word

of God over every single man made law.

Friends, it is God's Word that reigns supreme forever and ever

from the beginning of time. He is the Alpha and the Omega

and there is no voice that is louder than God's voice.

And He has given it to us and He has preserved it for us, The

spoken word friends that we hold in our hands, that is alive and
14:38
active and sharper than any 2 edged sword.

And it is our trustworthy, reliable map to Him.

And we need to follow it. More than we follow the law of
14:50
the land. More than we follow what man

says. More than we follow what a

congregation says, friends, it is God and it is God alone that

gives us the mandate. And we will only follow those to

the degree that they follow Jesus Christ.

This apostasy that's coming, and it is here and it is prevalent,

friends. And then you will see the man of
15:19
sin be revealed, the son of Perdition.

He is the son of destruction. He gets his likeness from Judas.

This son of Perdition that is coming on the scene, friends.

And the spirit of Antichrist has already gone out into the world,

friends, and you see it and it is mainstream.

It is not hidden, it is reared its ugly head.

And there will be a day and there will be a time where you

have to make a decision. And there's only two choices.

You will either serve Jesus Christ completely,

wholeheartedly, 100%, or you will serve Satan.

And you see it all shaping up today.

Every other God is an idol. They cannot see, they cannot

hear. There is only one true living

God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and that is who we

serve. The Lion of Judah, Yeshua is who

we attach ourselves to. This world has nothing for us.

It is all about God and God Almighty.

Friends, never forget it. Do not sell your birthright for

a mess of pottage. Do not have the fear of man.

Let fear of man break off of you.

Count the cost before you ever put your hand to the plow.

Pick up your cross and follow Him every single day, regardless

of where He leads you, because the life that you have awaiting

for you far exceeds anything that this world could ever

offer. Do not forget that friends, for

who opposes and exalts Himself above all, that is called God,

or that is worshipped so that he as God sits in the temple of
17:39
God, showing himself that He is God.

This is the halfway point of the seven years of tribulation.

There will be a 3 1/2 year marker that the Jews in Israel
17:56
will rebuild their temple there in Jerusalem on the Temple
18:03
Mount. And then the Antichrist will
18:08
break his peace treaty with Jerusalem and he will sit in the
18:15
temple and demand to be worshipped as God.

And he only fools himself, friends.

And this is the marker when the Jews will realize that Jesus
18:29
Christ is their long-awaited Messiah and they will put their
18:33
faith in him when they see the abomination of desolation, When
18:38
they see the Antichrist sitting on the throne demanding to be
18:42
worshipped as God. And you can see there are only
18:46
two sides here. And this Antichrist character
18:50
will rise up and he'll have a plan of peace, and it will look
18:57
in the beginning as if that is the way to go, and it will
19:01
deceive many. And many will choose this peace
19:04
treaty over Yahweh. They will receive the Antichrist
19:10
in droves because they have been duped by the counterfeit Christ.

And He will promise so much that he cannot deliver on friends.

Only God has the power to deliver on the promises and all
19:25
of it has been for us. And it is black and white and it
19:29
is clear as a bell. And we need to know that God's

Word is going to happen and fulfill itself to the exact

letter to the last jot and the last title.

Friends, do not forget that this, this Antichrist, he sells
19:48
things that he cannot deliver on.

It will never happen and the only thing that he has power to

do is what God has allowed. Friends, it is not a cat and
19:59
mouse game. There is a plan and there is a

purpose in all of it, and it is for the Jews, His chosen people,

to realize that Jesus Christ. Is the Messiah.

But do not fret and do not worry St.

You will be receiving your rewards during the seven-year
20:21
tribulation and for the 3 1/2 years of peace from the moment
20:27
that the Church is taken up and out.

Friends, it will be hell on earth for the world at large and

it will only be the peace treaty with Israel that even has any
20:43
peace attached to it. And that is so they can rebuild
20:48
their temple so that he can sit in it and demand to be
20:53
worshipped as God. And for 3 1/2 years after this

marker, it will be worse than it's ever been.

And if God had not shortened those days, no one would

survive, and it would deceive the elect, even if that was

possible. Friends.

And there will be those who can put their faith in the Lord

Jesus Christ during the seven-year tribulation, but it

will be far worse for them. They will be handed over.

They will be beheaded. They will be imprisoned,

Friends. It will be persecution like this

world has never known, friends. And we're seeing all of the
21:35
outer bands of it today, friends.

You're seeing the birth pains today, friends.

And he's only going to fool himself by demanding to be
21:49
worshipped as God. And God will not share his glory
21:53
with anyone, Friends 5 Remember you.

Not that when I was yet with you, I told you these things,

Paul saying. Bring it back into remembrance.

Return back to your first love. Do not be duped.

Do not be tricked. Do not be deceived.

Remember these words, recite them, repeat them.

Do not be tricked by clever deceptiveness of people who try

to hide their agendas within false doctrine and false
22:36
theology. 6 And now you know what holds back, that he might

be revealed in his time. So he's talking about the Holy
22:52
Spirit holding back this time of the fullness of the Antichrist

to come on the scene and have his heyday.

It is the Holy Spirit that is in the world now that holds the
23:06
Antichrist back from the full reign that he desires.

And we are indwelled with the Holy Spirit, friends, and we are
23:17
even the least in the Kingdom of God is greater than anyone born
23:23
of woman. And we will be taken up and out.

And then that will give the arena to the Antichrist to have
23:35
his heyday. Seven For the mystery of
23:40
iniquity does already work. Only he who now restrains will
23:48
restrain until he be taken out of the way.

This Holy Spirit that we house, and that we have the triune
23:57
nature of God that is inside of us, is the only reason that the

Antichrist has not fully been revealed.

Friends And once the Holy Spirit and once the Church goes up and

out of the world, then the Antichrist will have his heyday

and people can still be saved during the seven-year
24:21
tribulation. Friends, but it will be much
24:24
harder for them. And the Holy Spirit will still
24:29
be working, but it will not be in the indwelling of the people,
24:35
it will be in the coming upon them.

Friends, the Holy Spirit does not stop working at the
24:41
seven-year mark of the tribulation.

It is just a different ministry than the one that you and I and

the Church age has been privileged to house and to hold

and to have as our Helper. 8 And then shall that wicked be

revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his
25:12
mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.

He's talking about Armageddon. He's talking about when the Lord

comes back with all of his holy ones, when the Lord comes back

riding on the clouds and you will see Him, friends, and the
25:31
whole world will see him whenever he comes back.

This is not talking about the catching up of the church,

friends. This is talking about when Jesus

Christ comes back with all of His Saints and He will consume

the Antichrist and all those who amassed themselves against the
25:54
Son of Man, the Son of God, Jesus Christ our Lord.

And he's going to destroy the Antichrist with the brightness

of his coming. He's going to destroy the
26:08
Antichrist with the two edged sword from his mouth in and with
26:14
all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that
26:20
perish because they received not the love of the truth that they
26:26
might be saved. These are all of those who love
26:30
evil, who are attracted to evil, who care nothing for the
26:38
goodness of God, and they choose evil over God.

There is only two sides. And God says you must choose,
26:50
choose you whom you will serve. But As for me, in my house we
26:56
will serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

And here Paul wants this church at Thessalonica, and God wants

us, the bride of Christ, to know what will happen in the very end

when Christ comes back and why they have to be dealt with.

And it is because they were deceived.

They had unrighteousness in them.

They cared nothing for him is why they perish.

They were given a choice and they chose Satan.

And it is deplorable and it is disgusting.

And they refused to love the truth.

They delighted in evil, and so they were not saved. 11 And for

this, 'cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should

believe a lie. That's what you're seeing in the

world today, friends. You are seeing people that are
28:08
truly delusional and God has given them over to a reprobate
28:14
mind, friends, and it is a choice.

God sends this powerful delusion and it's such a powerful
28:23
delusion that it would deceive the elect if it was possible.

And there are many ministries that are being upended because
28:30
of moral failure, Friends and these people, they could truly
28:36
be still part of God's people, brothers and sisters, but they
28:43
have such moral failure that their witness and their
28:47
testimony has been spotted and stained.

And they are not useful because people don't listen to them,
28:56
because they have had their moral failure.

This is the deception that would deceive even the elect if it was

possible. And God has sent a powerful
29:07
delusion so that they will believe the lie because they
29:16
delighted in evil and they refused to love the truth.

That is our call, friends. That is a high call, for every
29:25
blood bought born against St. is to love the truth, and Jesus

Christ is the truth and the way and the life, and no one comes
29:35
unto the Father except through Him.

Do not forget it. 12 that they all might be damned who believed
29:50
not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

These are those who are so attracted to evil.

They care nothing for the things of God.

They care nothing for the family unit.

They care nothing for the heterosexual relationships.

They are so steeped in the reprobate minds.

They are choosing evil over the goodness of God every single
30:21
day. These are those who destined for

eternal separation from God and it is sad and it should break
30:35
our hearts. And if there is breath in their
30:40
lungs, there is still hope. And God has many in those camps

that belong to Him. And that is why it is not for us
30:51
to try and figure out who it is who's going to be there and who
30:56
it is who's not going to be there.

We were once just like them. We were once those that were

deceived. We were once the reprobate
31:07
minds. We were once those who had this
31:14
delusional worldview. But God rescued us, and we need
31:20
to remember that when we're dealing with people, people are
31:25
never the problem. It is the spirit behind those
31:30
people that we pray against, in war against friends, and we war
31:34
on our knees and we break off all of the deception and we free
31:41
the captives. There are many in those camps
31:44
today that will be there with us in eternity, but they must turn
31:51
from sin. They must turn and admit that
31:55
they need a Savior. They must turn away from that
31:58
sin to be saved, friends. And that is what we need to

understand is that if there is still breath in someone's lungs,

it is not too late. They are not too far gone.

Friends, there is this powerful delusion that has come upon the
32:19
world, but God knows who belongs to Him, and He is mighty to
32:28
save. Hallelujah.

Praise God. We were once dead and we were
32:35
once lost, but God rescued us and there is still much more
32:41
work to do. There are sheep that are not in
32:44
this fold, that are of this fold, and He must bring them in.

And that is why we woke up today.

That is why he has given us another day, and His mercies are

new every single day. 13 But we are bound to give thanks always

to God for you, brothers, beloved of the Lord, because God

has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through

sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.

So here Paul wraps it all up and he makes sure that they

understand that they were predestined before the
33:33
foundations of the earth and they were chosen.

They are a holy nation and they are a royal priesthood.

And he needs them to walk in the identity that God has placed

upon them, and he's wanting them to know that it.

Whenever Paul thinks about them, he is bound to give God praise

and thanks because they they were such a refreshing drink to

Paul to see this church here in Thessalonica that was being

persecuted. And they were still choosing to
34:06
follow after God Almighty, even though there were those coming

in trying to deceive them into thinking that the day of the
34:14
Lord had come and that the seven-year tribulation had
34:18
already started and we were chosen to salvation.

And that is just God making us more and more like Jesus Christ

every day. And your life should look more

like Jesus's today than it did yesterday.

And it is through this sanctification and it is God

chose us to save us, friends. And you can see that the Spirit

of God is the one who reveals truth to us. 14 Where unto he
34:53
called you? By our gospel to the obtaining
34:57
of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ that this world is

in desperate need to hear. And we have that good news.

And all we have to do is just tell people what God has done in
35:13
our lives. And your testimony friends, is a
35:17
simple, simple thing. And you could have a 2 minute

testimony of what did your life look like prior to Jesus Christ?

What happened when you met and received and put your faith in
35:32
Jesus Christ? What did that look like?

What was that moment for you? And then what does your life
35:38
look like now? And we all need to develop that
35:40
2 minute testimony to share with people everywhere that we go.

And that is the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He is to
35:49
save, and if he saved us, he can save them.

If there's breath in their lungs, it's not too late, and
35:55
God's not done with them. 15 Therefore, brothers, stand fast.

Hold the traditions which you have been taught, whether by
36:08
word or our epistle. That is what our call is.

Friends, we need to stand fast. Stand on the Word of God.

Do not be knocked off. It is infallible and it is
36:21
inerrant, and you cannot give one single iota on that fact.

If you give up ground, you might as well take the entire thing

and throw it out the window. We have to stand on the Word of

God. The reliability of the

Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, nothing added and

nothing subtracted. And Paul is saying, listen to

the words that we have given you, and do not be knocked off
36:50
of that high position. 16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself,

and God, even our Father, which has loved us and has given us
37:03
everlasting consolation and Good Hope through grace, 17 will end

here. Comfort your hearts and

establish you in every good word and work.

That is what you need to understand about the walk, the

Christian walk, friends, spells work, and if you are

established, then that work is easy.

His yoke is easy, His burden is light because he is brunting all

the load. You need to understand here,

friends, that it is Jesus Christ that is highly exalted.

It is God Almighty, our Father, who shows us even what love is,

and He gives us this consoling. He comforts us, friends, It's

everlasting in His presence. It is glory and you will be

comforted whenever He comes upon you, whenever He visits you,

whenever He is in the room. Friends, it is nothing but love
38:14
and comfort with God Almighty, and He wants us to know the good

word, to know the good book, to go and to teach these things to

the babes in Christ and to establish them and to snatch
38:32
many out of the fire. There are many who are outside
38:36
of the fold that must come in, and God knows the full number.
