- 0:35Speaker 3: blow your diet before 8 a.m. Zero guilt right there.
- 0:38Speaker 3: It's also National Parents Day Off. Now, I guess you
- 0:43Speaker 3: can't abandon your children altogether. How does that happen?
- 0:45Speaker 8: Sorry, kids.
- 0:46Speaker 3: See ya. Parents Day Off. Change your own diaper.
- 0:49Speaker 9: Find your own way to school.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Maybe just don't do the laundry today. That's your day off.
- 0:54Speaker 3: National Eat a Hoagie Day. What is a hoagie officially?
- 0:57Speaker 3: A hoagie is... A hoagie is like a subway.
- 0:58Speaker 9: Yeah, like a sub.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Yeah. National Coloring Day. So you can grab a marker,
- 1:03Speaker 3: color outside the lines, and fake your way to enter Zen,
- 1:06Speaker 3: I guess, today.
- 1:07Speaker 10: I don't think coloring outside the lines would give anyone Zen.
- 1:09Speaker 11: No.
- 1:10Speaker 3: That would just give me stress. Stay in the lines.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Keep it clean. But it's National Coloring Day. Bane was
- 1:15Speaker 3: talking about the stages of life as a 28-year-old woman.
- 1:18Speaker 12: Yeah there's so many of them and the reason that
- 1:21Speaker 12: i was like man the stages of life literally one
- 1:25Speaker 12: of my very best friends one of my longest friends
- 1:27Speaker 12: she is supposed to be having her second baby this
- 1:31Speaker 12: week like she is it's go time and we live
- 1:34Speaker 12: across the street from each other and so i texted
- 1:36Speaker 12: her i was like hey is there anything that you
- 1:38Speaker 12: need me to do like i'm literally a stone throw
- 1:41Speaker 12: away like do you need me to come organize you
- 1:42Speaker 12: need me to clean like what can we do to
- 1:44Speaker 12: get you ready for this baby and she's like all
- 1:47Speaker 12: i want to do is go on walks. And I'm like, okay,
- 1:50Speaker 12: sounds easy enough. Except for I was nursing a hangover
- 1:53Speaker 12: when she asked me to.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Go on a walk with her.
- 1:55Speaker 12: So I was like, the stages of life, like, I'm
- 1:59Speaker 12: 28 and married. She's 29, not married, but on her
- 2:03Speaker 12: second baby.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Combine you two.
- 2:06Speaker 10: We are super woman right there.
- 2:08Speaker 12: But I was just like, oh my gosh, like, what
- 2:10Speaker 12: is this? And I couldn't tell her I was hungover
- 2:12Speaker 12: as I'm on this walk with her.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I'm just trying to be good. How long of a
- 2:16Speaker 3: walk is she taking you on?
- 2:17Speaker 10: Oh, we went on about a mile walk. It was
- 2:19Speaker 10: it was really nice. I needed the fresh air. I
- 2:22Speaker 10: was like the stages of life.
- 2:23Speaker 12: And the reason I was hungover is because I actually
- 2:25Speaker 12: had just gotten back in town from Spokane, Washington, because
- 2:29Speaker 12: I went to my friend's wedding and we just got
- 2:31Speaker 12: I just got hammered with my college besties.
- 2:33Speaker 3: That's what you're supposed to do at this stage of life.
- 2:35Speaker 12: Sometimes you just need to get drunk with your college
- 2:38Speaker 12: friends again.
- 2:38Speaker 10: And all will be well in the world.
- 2:40Speaker 12: But it's like, everyone is at all these different stages
- 2:43Speaker 12: of life and it's really, truly a beautiful thing, you know?
- 2:45Speaker 10: Like, I talk about it all the time. I'm like, ew, like,
- 2:47Speaker 10: I don't look 28. 28's too old.
- 2:49Speaker 12: But like, it is such a blessing to be able
- 2:51Speaker 12: to get older, especially with the people that are closest
- 2:53Speaker 12: to you.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Did you send me a text message of people saying
- 2:54Speaker 3: you do look 28? Yeah, it was disrespect. It was disrespect.
- 2:58Speaker 3: You look your age.
- 2:59Speaker 13: Yeah. Ah!
- 3:03Speaker 9: It's not bad to look 28 like you look fabulous
- 3:07Speaker 9: if that's a 28 is quote unquote looking like you
- 3:09Speaker 9: look fab.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Speaking of stages of life Peyton I was just talking
- 3:13Speaker 3: to my lovely bride Stacy Barron she wants to know
- 3:15Speaker 3: when you guys are having a baby too soon.
- 3:18Speaker 12: Enough if it was up to Kadeem we would have
- 3:20Speaker 12: had a baby yesterday And I feel bad for him
- 3:23Speaker 12: because I'm like, once.
- 3:24Speaker 10: We get married.
- 3:27Speaker 14: Your whole thing about stages of life, by the way,
- 3:29Speaker 14: you talk about your friends, like you're married, no kids.
- 3:32Speaker 14: She is not married. You're drinking out with your college buddies.
- 3:35Speaker 14: That actually put that in parentheses. That is one stage
- 3:38Speaker 14: of life. You're thinking it's a bunch of stages there.
- 3:40Speaker 14: I think that's one stage of life. You're always going
- 3:42Speaker 14: to look back and you're going to call that your 20s.
- 3:45Speaker 14: valid and then in your 30s you'll have something else
- 3:48Speaker 14: in 30s in fact i saw this comedian nate the
- 3:50Speaker 14: nate bargesi guy he was talking about in your 20s
- 3:52Speaker 14: but he's called let's.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Go where you want to go tonight let's go yeah
- 3:55Speaker 3: let's freaking destroy this.
- 3:56Speaker 14: Place let's cross because in your 30s it's like where
- 3:59Speaker 14: are we going what time we're coming back who's driving
- 4:02Speaker 14: yeah like and then i don't know the other stages
- 4:05Speaker 14: because i'm 38 i do.
- 4:07Speaker 12: Love that meme that goes around every now and then
- 4:09Speaker 12: and it's like if you're 28 then you're in your
- 4:12Speaker 12: first season of friends I don't know if they were
- 4:15Speaker 12: 28 when they were in Friends, but.
- 4:16Speaker 10: Like, they're, like, it's, like, life still goes.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Really?
- 4:18Speaker 12: Like, just because you're getting a little bit older doesn't
- 4:20Speaker 12: mean that you get to stop being, like, cool, fun,
- 4:22Speaker 12: and hot all the time.
- 4:22Speaker 3: First season of Friends. I thought they were younger than that.
- 4:24Speaker 10: No, I think they're, like, late 20s.
- 4:26Speaker 3: No, they're, like, 25. Do they mean the TV show
- 4:28Speaker 3: Friends or just Friends?
- 4:29Speaker 10: Yeah, the TV show Friends.
- 4:30Speaker 9: I know, because I was, like, don't you have your
- 4:31Speaker 9: first stage of Friends, like, in preschool? I meant the
- 4:33Speaker 9: TV show.
- 4:34Speaker 12: Like the first season of Friends like they were all
- 4:37Speaker 12: in their like mid to late 20s so if you're
- 4:39Speaker 12: in that stage then that's where you know that's where.
- 4:41Speaker 3: You're at in life I interviewed this guy on my
- 4:43Speaker 3: podcast my highly successful podcast the John G. Van Ness
- 4:46Speaker 3: podcast and he had never seen Friends before and I
- 4:48Speaker 3: was beside myself I was like what? What was he
- 4:51Speaker 3: talking about? Like nuclear fission? Maybe he was like a
- 4:53Speaker 3: busier person in that time of his life. I think
- 4:55Speaker 3: he was in the sports or something. I don't know. Anyway,
- 4:58Speaker 3: you can see that podcast. It's a John J. Van
- 5:00Speaker 3: Ness podcast.
- 5:02Speaker 14: So last week, there was a big mystery around this note,
- 5:06Speaker 14: and I still have it here, that was left on
- 5:08Speaker 14: my windshield of my car here at the radio station.
- 5:10Speaker 3: A really wild note. I thought Kyle could solve it.
- 5:14Speaker 12: I couldn't.
- 5:14Speaker 14: But we still figured out everybody involved in the note.
- 5:17Speaker 14: It says, Eve Jobs is not in London with Harry anymore.
- 5:21Speaker 14: She's residing in our beautiful Phoenix City. Do not use
- 5:24Speaker 14: this information yet. Look into the fact on London's end.
- 5:28Speaker 14: And it was a mystery. We posted it up on
- 5:30Speaker 14: social media, and we have somebody that has an idea
- 5:34Speaker 14: on what's involved with this note and who's behind it.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Shauna, good morning.
- 5:38Speaker 15: Hey, I think I know who may have left that
- 5:40Speaker 15: note on your card, John Jay.
- 5:42Speaker 14: You think you know the person that left a note
- 5:44Speaker 14: on my car, the one that said Eve's Jobs is
- 5:45Speaker 14: not in London with Harry anymore? She's residing in our
- 5:48Speaker 14: beautiful Phoenix City. Do not use this information yet. Look
- 5:50Speaker 14: into the fact on London's end.
- 5:52Speaker 16: That?
- 5:53Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 15: Yes, that note. So I think there's this guy that
- 5:58Speaker 15: sits on the corner of 44th and McDowell. I drive
- 6:02Speaker 15: by him every day on the way to work, and
- 6:04Speaker 15: I know it's near your office building. He's usually not
- 6:07Speaker 15: wearing a shirt. He usually has a QT cup, but
- 6:11Speaker 15: he usually writes some funny things on his signs. So
- 6:15Speaker 15: that's just my theory. He might have some good conspiracy
- 6:18Speaker 15: theories wanting to share.
- 6:20Speaker 11: He's close.
- 6:21Speaker 15: I feel like it just makes sense.
- 6:23Speaker 3: That's right by our parking garage. Why would he come
- 6:26Speaker 3: find my car? That's what I'm saying, which is.
- 6:27Speaker 12: So weird because it seems like it's a message for you.
- 6:31Speaker 12: How would he know it was you? It's not like
- 6:34Speaker 12: you're a random car. If that's the case, that's a
- 6:36Speaker 12: weird coincidence.
- 6:37Speaker 9: It was targeted unless he's been watching you get in
- 6:40Speaker 9: and out of your car.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Well, the person you described, do you know his name?
- 6:43Speaker 3: Because I feel like I know exactly who you're describing.
- 6:46Speaker 15: I don't know his name. But he's just always there
- 6:50Speaker 15: on the corner. I just feel like he would have
- 6:52Speaker 15: that inside intel.
- 6:53Speaker 10: Should we go find him?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Describe him again to me real quick, please.
- 6:57Speaker 15: He's usually on the corner, usually has a sign and
- 6:59Speaker 15: a cup. He's usually waiting there for cars. And he
- 7:03Speaker 15: has no shirt on, typically. Older gentleman.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it's Tim from KNIX. I'm almost positive that would
- 7:11Speaker 3: be him. He's always been into the offspring of Steve Guff, too.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Let's go over there and.
- 7:16Speaker 9: Ask him to show us his handwriting.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Double check it. I've never seen that guy with a
- 7:19Speaker 3: shirt on, ever. Wow. All right, Shauna, thanks for calling in.
- 7:24Speaker 13: Yep, no problem.
- 7:25Speaker 9: Good luck.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Hey, what's the five horoscopes today?
- 7:35Speaker 10: It's Monday.
- 7:36Speaker 12: So I'm going to let you know the exact mess
- 7:38Speaker 12: that your Zodiac sign is going to be stepping into
- 7:41Speaker 12: for the rest of the week. If it's your birthday,
- 7:43Speaker 12: we are more than halfway through Virgo season. You share
- 7:46Speaker 12: a birthday with Amy Winehouse, Nas, Logan Henderson, Money Long
- 7:50Speaker 12: and Jimmy Butler. John Jay, for Virgo, when it comes
- 7:53Speaker 12: to you and kind of the week that you're about
- 7:55Speaker 12: to get into, you, like always, are aggressively micromanaging everyone
- 8:00Speaker 12: around you because your own internal world feels slightly out
- 8:03Speaker 12: of control. You got to let people make their own
- 8:06Speaker 12: mistakes today or else you are literally combust.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Tell me about it. Gloria, good morning.
- 8:13Speaker 13: Morning.
- 8:13Speaker 3: What's your sign?
- 8:14Speaker 7: Cancer.
- 8:16Speaker 10: All right, cancers.
- 8:18Speaker 12: The week that you're about to get into, someone didn't
- 8:20Speaker 12: match your exact energetic frequency that you needed, so you're
- 8:24Speaker 12: convinced that they actually hate you. You need to stop overanalyzing.
- 8:27Speaker 12: It's just a punctuation mark. You can't read tone and text.
- 8:30Speaker 12: Just ask them, communicate with the people closest to you,
- 8:32Speaker 12: and you'll have a good week.
- 8:35Speaker 11: Awesome.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Thanks, Gloria.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Bye.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 8:39Speaker 17: Bye.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Good morning, Sarah.
- 8:44Speaker 10: Good morning.
- 8:44Speaker 3: What's your sign?
- 8:47Speaker 10: Gemini is the week that you're about to get into.
- 8:49Speaker 12: You guys have already spread two pieces of unverified gossip
- 8:53Speaker 12: before noon. And now you're going to be shocked that
- 8:55Speaker 12: the drama is kicking you in the butt. You got
- 8:57Speaker 12: to mind your business for once today. Just for today,
- 9:00Speaker 12: you can get back on track when it comes to
- 9:01Speaker 12: later in the week. But kind of just let people
- 9:03Speaker 12: do their thing and you'll be set off for a
- 9:05Speaker 12: good time.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Have a great day, Sarah.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Bye, Sarah.
- 9:08Speaker 3: How about for Rich for Pisces?
- 9:09Speaker 12: Yeah, Rich, the week that you're going to get into,
- 9:12Speaker 12: you are romanticizing a situation that is toxicity at its finest.
- 9:17Speaker 11: Whoa.
- 9:17Speaker 12: Yeah, stop checking people's locations. Stop looking back at old
- 9:20Speaker 12: photos and get back to reality.
- 9:22Speaker 10: We need you here.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Wow. I wonder if that fits somebody else because that's
- 9:25Speaker 3: not really my jam. No, it's you.
- 9:27Speaker 18: Stop denying.
- 9:27Speaker 3: No way.
- 9:28Speaker 10: He's in denial, everyone.
- 9:29Speaker 11: Look.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Because you said, what do you deny? Which part? Like
- 9:33Speaker 3: looking at people's Instagram or checking their location. I don't
- 9:37Speaker 3: really do that. You don't look at people's Instagram? I mean,
- 9:39Speaker 3: I don't really overly check anybody's Instagram. I scroll, but
- 9:43Speaker 3: I don't obsess. I'm just kidding. How about Leo's?
- 9:46Speaker 18: Leo's.
- 9:47Speaker 10: I'm a Leo.
- 9:47Speaker 12: That's Leo's when it comes to our week. We just
- 9:50Speaker 12: got to put on the cutest outfit today just to
- 9:53Speaker 12: sit in traffic.
- 9:54Speaker 10: And run errands.
- 9:54Speaker 12: If nobody compliments us in the next hour, we are
- 9:56Speaker 12: going to throw a fit. So just hop on our
- 9:58Speaker 12: Instagram story.
- 9:59Speaker 10: Get a couple left.
- 10:00Speaker 3: And we'll be good. How about the Libras?
- 10:03Speaker 10: The Libras? The Libras? It's a new one. Libra.
- 10:06Speaker 12: Kyle, you're kind of sitting on the fence so hard
- 10:08Speaker 12: that you're getting splinters. You got to make a choice
- 10:10Speaker 12: today on those plans before everyone kind of gets sick
- 10:12Speaker 12: on waiting on you and leaves you behind and makes
- 10:14Speaker 12: the decision for themselves.
- 10:16Speaker 18: Okay.
- 10:17Speaker 9: I can make some plans.
- 10:18Speaker 18: Yes.
- 10:20Speaker 3: All right, if we can get to her sign, they're
- 10:21Speaker 3: all posted right now on our website, johnjainrich.com.
- 10:26Speaker 9: Are you following us on Insta, at johnjainrich?
- 10:28Speaker 19: Hit us up and get caught up in the lore
- 10:30Speaker 19: of the Doom Scroll.
- 10:31Speaker 14: Last week, during War of the Roses, she thought her
- 10:35Speaker 14: husband was cheating because the dog ate a pair of
- 10:37Speaker 14: underwear that wasn't hers.
- 10:39Speaker 3: That is the biggest bust of all time.
- 10:41Speaker 14: So then we got into, like, what's the craziest, strangest
- 10:43Speaker 14: thing your dog has ever eaten? And we're being told
- 10:47Speaker 14: we need to hear Maddie. Maddie's calling. Because it's the
- 10:51Speaker 14: best story ever.
- 10:52Speaker 7: Maddie, good morning.
- 10:54Speaker 8: Good morning.
- 10:55Speaker 20: My parents' dog ate their keys, like their bundle of keys.
- 11:02Speaker 20: And it had a key fob for the entrance and
- 11:04Speaker 20: entrance of the gate. But it also had the push
- 11:07Speaker 20: to start key fob on the key chain as well.
- 11:11Speaker 20: So to get the car running, the dog had to
- 11:14Speaker 20: be in the car, and then to leave.
- 11:15Speaker 3: The apartment as well, we had to put the dog's.
- 11:18Speaker 20: Pack up to the gate to open the door.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Come on.
- 11:21Speaker 9: It still worked?
- 11:23Speaker 3: That is hilarious.
- 11:26Speaker 20: Yeah, it only worked if the dog was in the car,
- 11:29Speaker 20: so we couldn't leave the veterinarian's office until it was.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Out of the dog's stomach.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Wow.
- 11:34Speaker 10: Oh, my gosh.
- 11:36Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 11:36Speaker 9: I'm surprised it still worked in there.
- 11:39Speaker 20: They said that it would have worked until it hit
- 11:41Speaker 20: the stomach because the stomach acid would have.
- 11:44Speaker 6: Completely destroyed it.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Oh, sure. Is the dog okay now?
- 11:48Speaker 13: We were lucky.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Dog okay?
- 11:50Speaker 10: Definitely.
- 11:52Speaker 20: Yes, the dog was okay. The dog has now passed
- 11:55Speaker 20: of old age, but the dog was perfectly fine.
- 11:57Speaker 18: Wow.
- 11:58Speaker 20: We had pet insurance at the time.
- 11:59Speaker 7: Oh, that's good.
- 12:00Speaker 6: So with all these people saying $ 5, 000, we only had
- 12:01Speaker 6: to pay.
- 12:02Speaker 4: $ 300 co-pay.
- 12:02Speaker 11: Wow.
- 12:02Speaker 8: Nice job.
- 12:06Speaker 3: That is a, you know, when you said I have
- 12:09Speaker 3: a good one, you do. That was the best one.
- 12:10Speaker 3: That was really, really good. That is so funny. Thank you, Maddie.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, it was pretty good.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Thank you for calling in. Okay, hear me out, okay?
- 12:23Speaker 14: Every once in a while, everybody on the show has
- 12:25Speaker 14: something else to present to the show, and I don't
- 12:27Speaker 14: know how to get to it.
- 12:29Speaker 3: So I know Peyton is working on something. And Kyle
- 12:32Speaker 3: Payton gave me grief for saying, what are you working on, Peyton?
- 12:35Speaker 3: So I don't know. It's something to do with dating.
- 12:37Speaker 3: That's okay. I'm pulling back the curtain. What is it
- 12:39Speaker 3: that you have to bring to the show?
- 12:41Speaker 10: Well, relationships are hard sometimes, you know?
- 12:43Speaker 3: That's true. Sometimes. They are hard. They can be difficult.
- 12:48Speaker 12: Yeah, and a psychologist had said that there is a hack.
- 12:51Speaker 12: To like creating one of the best and strongest relationships
- 12:54Speaker 12: that you could possibly be in. And it all starts
- 12:56Speaker 12: with asking just one question before you start the week.
- 13:00Speaker 12: And the question is, what's going to be the hardest
- 13:03Speaker 12: thing on your plate this week? You just have to
- 13:05Speaker 12: ask that question to your partner and see what it is.
- 13:10Speaker 12: See what's stressing out your partner before it happens.
- 13:12Speaker 9: Why did you make that noise?
- 13:13Speaker 5: Right.
- 13:14Speaker 14: Because that would be hard for me to answer. That's
- 13:16Speaker 14: the hardest thing. What's the hardest thing on your plate
- 13:18Speaker 14: this week? Answering that question.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I would probably say, I don't really want to talk
- 13:21Speaker 3: about it if somebody asks me that.
- 13:22Speaker 9: I think what Peyton is saying, you should ask Blake that.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Well, let's call her and ask her that. Let me
- 13:28Speaker 3: do it.
- 13:28Speaker 18: That's what you got to do.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Call her.
- 13:30Speaker 16: See what's up.
- 13:40Speaker 3: It's about being supportive. First of all, tell her that
- 13:41Speaker 3: Peyton's working on something.
- 13:42Speaker 16: Your call has been forwarded.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Oh!
- 13:45Speaker 9: How about that?
- 13:46Speaker 13: I got it.
- 13:47Speaker 9: That was her answer. Her hardest thing on her plate
- 13:50Speaker 9: this week is you, John Jay. She can't deal with
- 13:52Speaker 9: it right now.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Every week. That's cold-blooded.
- 14:07Speaker 13: Hello?
- 14:08Speaker 3: Good morning, beautiful.
- 14:10Speaker 10: Hi.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Can I borrow you for one minute on the radio?
- 14:13Speaker 21: I know you're busy.
- 14:14Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Are you doing something? Hello. Are you doing something?
- 14:20Speaker 10: I'm at LGO.
- 14:21Speaker 22: I was ordering breakfast, and I just found out that
- 14:23Speaker 22: I was supposed to be on a marketing meeting, but
- 14:25Speaker 22: I can do that in just a second.
- 14:27Speaker 8: Okay.
- 14:29Speaker 3: What's the hardest thing I can help you with this week?
- 14:33Speaker 22: The hardest thing?
- 14:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:35Speaker 22: You can help me get people to download.
- 14:40Speaker 13: That's the hardest thing going on okay look.
- 14:45Speaker 9: At you guys look at that look at this teamwork
- 14:47Speaker 9: in this relationship.
- 14:48Speaker 13: Yeah I love it can you help me out.
- 14:51Speaker 14: Yeah okay that's it I'll ask people right now it's
- 14:54Speaker 14: a great app people should have it anyway it's a great.
- 14:55Speaker 3: App and how would you how would you explain the
- 14:57Speaker 3: app like.
- 14:57Speaker 13: What is the app It's an app for dog people,
- 15:00Speaker 13: and it's amazing. Okay.
- 15:03Speaker 22: It's personalized to your dog, and you sign up on
- 15:07Speaker 22: Apple or Google Play, and once you get your app downloaded,
- 15:12Speaker 22: you download your dog's information, and we have this wonderful
- 15:17Speaker 22: ginger that will answer questions.
- 15:20Speaker 16: Based on your dog's profile.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Okay, elevator pitch.
- 15:23Speaker 8: Super exciting.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Elevator pitch.
- 15:25Speaker 6: Okay.
- 15:25Speaker 11: Okay.
- 15:25Speaker 22: That's it.
- 15:26Speaker 3: That's the elevator.
- 15:27Speaker 22: It's just an app for dog people. Everybody should have it.
- 15:30Speaker 14: Go to your meeting, your marketing meeting. Thank you for
- 15:32Speaker 14: jumping on the air with us. Have a great day.
- 15:34Speaker 14: I love you more now.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 15:35Speaker 9: Love you.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Bye-bye. All right, Peyton, so how'd that go?
- 15:38Speaker 14: The hardest thing that you're saying, that successful relationships, ask
- 15:41Speaker 14: this question. What's the hardest thing on your plate this
- 15:44Speaker 14: week that can.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Help you with?
- 15:45Speaker 10: Yeah, like what's going on?
- 15:46Speaker 12: Because then you can't automatically like take their bad mood
- 15:49Speaker 12: personally if you know exactly what they're going on throughout
- 15:51Speaker 12: the week. And it helps you know when they need
- 15:54Speaker 12: support or if they need space. So basically it's like, okay,
- 15:57Speaker 12: you're stressed out. You're not mad at me. We communicated
- 16:00Speaker 12: like we're good. So I feel like this is really.
- 16:02Speaker 18: Good relationship advice.
- 16:02Speaker 10: Like most marriage advice is like all the same stuff.
- 16:05Speaker 12: Don't go to bed mad. Communication is key. But like this,
- 16:08Speaker 12: I feel like you can prevent arguments through this.
- 16:11Speaker 3: That's good advice. So we should get into good marriage advice.
- 16:15Speaker 18: Yeah, good.
- 16:16Speaker 10: Things that actually work, even if it's.
- 16:18Speaker 9: A little bit weird.
- 16:19Speaker 14: By the way, the don't go to bed mad thing,
- 16:21Speaker 14: isn't that because in case they die in their sleep,
- 16:24Speaker 14: you're mad?
- 16:24Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Because I go to bed mad all the time.
- 16:27Speaker 9: I don't like to go to bed mad.
- 16:28Speaker 3: I don't like to either. It keeps me up. But
- 16:29Speaker 3: I wake up and I'm like, man, it wasn't that bad. Well,
- 16:31Speaker 3: that's how I feel.
- 16:32Speaker 10: Sometimes you just need some sleep.
- 16:33Speaker 12: Sometimes you do have to go to bed mad because
- 16:35Speaker 12: nothing good happens when you're tired and you're angry.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Don't they say before you have a big fight, you
- 16:41Speaker 3: should go eat something? Because most of the time, if
- 16:43Speaker 3: you're a guy, you're probably just hungry.
- 16:44Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Because when guys are being little bitches, just go say,
- 16:47Speaker 3: go get yourself a sandwich and then we can talk.
- 16:50Speaker 10: Exactly.
- 16:50Speaker 12: That's a weird advice that works.
- 16:53Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 16:53Speaker 9: Hold on a minute. I am ticked off, but would
- 16:57Speaker 9: you like a sub sandwich?
- 16:59Speaker 14: So what's a weird piece of relationship or marriage advice
- 17:03Speaker 14: somebody gave you that actually works? Regina, what is a
- 17:07Speaker 14: weird piece of relationship or marriage advice that somebody gave
- 17:10Speaker 14: you that actually works?
- 17:12Speaker 3: Yes.
- 17:13Speaker 8: Actually, the weirdest piece of advice that I've ever gotten
- 17:16Speaker 8: has actually come from my own mother. And when she
- 17:19Speaker 8: told me I was a little sketched out, but she
- 17:21Speaker 8: basically said that if you want to stay married, give
- 17:25Speaker 8: yourself one night a month to get divorced. And I
- 17:30Speaker 8: know it sounds like truly even saying it out loud.
- 17:32Speaker 8: I'm like, that sounds so crazy, dude. But basically, she
- 17:37Speaker 8: basically was like, hey, girl. What you got to do
- 17:39Speaker 8: is you have to go to separate bars. You have
- 17:41Speaker 8: to sit alone and you have to pretend that you're
- 17:43Speaker 8: single and like, just don't text them.
- 17:46Speaker 6: Don't do anything.
- 17:47Speaker 8: And honestly, and I'm telling, and again, I thought it
- 17:51Speaker 8: was crazy, but.
- 17:53Speaker 16: After doing.
- 17:54Speaker 8: It now with my husband for like, you know, the
- 17:57Speaker 8: first couple of years, it's pretty nice. It just reminds
- 18:02Speaker 8: us that like.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Hey, we're still hot.
- 18:04Speaker 8: We're still like cool. Like we still got game. And
- 18:07Speaker 8: then and we don't go home with anybody. So it's
- 18:10Speaker 8: nothing crazy.
- 18:11Speaker 16: It's just one night.
- 18:12Speaker 8: But the nicest part is going home then to my
- 18:15Speaker 8: husband to just like relax. Tell him everything that happened
- 18:18Speaker 8: and he feels really good because obviously the girls are
- 18:21Speaker 8: hitting on him.
- 18:22Speaker 16: And I feel really good because, yeah, so it's really,
- 18:25Speaker 16: really nice.
- 18:26Speaker 8: And TBH, my parents, they have been married 37 years
- 18:30Speaker 8: and they have still been doing this.
- 18:32Speaker 3: They're also swingers.
- 18:33Speaker 9: I didn't think you were going.
- 18:35Speaker 16: To go with that.
- 18:37Speaker 8: They do not go home with anybody.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I would not try that even once because, you know.
- 18:43Speaker 3: My wife, Stacey, she'd find like a nice guy, probably
- 18:46Speaker 3: a billionaire somewhere.
- 18:47Speaker 9: I thought you were going to say it would remind
- 18:48Speaker 9: you how terrible it would have to be to be
- 18:50Speaker 9: out back dating again.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Right.
- 18:52Speaker 9: I would be like, men are so annoying.
- 18:54Speaker 18: Get away, please.
- 18:55Speaker 9: So you could like just appreciate your position more.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Once a month seems like a lot. It does seem
- 19:00Speaker 3: like a lot. I'd be like, come on. She goes,
- 19:01Speaker 3: how'd it go? I'm like, great. You know, totally. We
- 19:04Speaker 3: had sex. She'd be like, what?
- 19:06Speaker 15: But it's really like tested our relationship.
- 19:09Speaker 8: It's really made us stronger because we never will say anything.
- 19:13Speaker 8: You know, we don't go with them. So we're always like,
- 19:15Speaker 8: you know what, babe, I love you. And honestly, it's
- 19:17Speaker 8: a good test because if they do end up going
- 19:19Speaker 8: to somebody else, it was never meant for you.
- 19:22Speaker 2: True.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Yeah, but I test the water.
- 19:24Speaker 9: Once a month, you're going to test it.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Do it again, John. I don't know. My thing was,
- 19:29Speaker 3: I'd be like, I had sex with her.
- 19:30Speaker 4: What?
- 19:31Speaker 3: You're not supposed to do that. Oh, my bad. I misunderstood.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Let's try next month. I'll try to do better next month.
- 19:38Speaker 3: All right, Regina. Thanks for calling in.
- 19:40Speaker 14: What is a weird piece of relationship advice or marriage
- 19:44Speaker 14: advice somebody gave you that actually works?
- 19:48Speaker 13: Get up.
- 19:48Speaker 8: Get up.
- 19:49Speaker 3: From the car.
- 19:50Speaker 23: To the office.
- 19:50Speaker 22: Wake up with them every morning.
- 19:52Speaker 9: John, Jay, and Rich.
- 19:53Speaker 14: It's time for Stacks and Hacks. I have stacks of information.
- 19:55Speaker 14: Rich has life hacks. This is big news in the
- 19:59Speaker 14: AI world. You keep hearing horrible things about AI.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh, yeah. Like how we're going to be
- 20:03Speaker 3: all dead in 10 years because AI is going to
- 20:05Speaker 3: kill us.
- 20:06Speaker 14: That's not what I'm here to tell you about. This
- 20:07Speaker 14: is something really cool. OpenAI just claimed they've solved... A
- 20:10Speaker 14: decades-old math problem that's been described as, quote, one of
- 20:14Speaker 14: the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics. And they're
- 20:19Speaker 14: calling it the biggest day in math in two decades.
- 20:23Speaker 14: It's like you ever watch Good Will Hunting? They put
- 20:26Speaker 14: that problem into AI and it fixed it in two seconds.
- 20:29Speaker 3: What if it was just a greater than, less than problem?
- 20:31Speaker 3: That's right. You guys know Bruce Willis, actor Bruce Willis? Yeah.
- 20:35Speaker 14: You know, he turned down the role that Patrick Swayze
- 20:38Speaker 14: had in the movie Ghost. He didn't understand how it
- 20:41Speaker 14: would work where the main character was dead for most
- 20:43Speaker 14: of the movie. And the role went to Patrick Swayze.
- 20:46Speaker 14: Nine years later, he took the role of the Sixth
- 20:48Speaker 14: Sense where he plays the dead guy the whole movie.
- 20:50Speaker 18: Spoiler.
- 20:52Speaker 3: It came out in 97. I was just kidding.
- 20:54Speaker 14: Brock's Candy is releasing a candy corn perfume.
- 20:58Speaker 3: It's called Ode to Candy Corn.
- 21:01Speaker 14: It's $ 22 on the website CandyCornSeason.com.
- 21:04Speaker 10: Oh my gosh, yes. My mom would love that. I
- 21:06Speaker 10: bet you it smells so sweet.
- 21:08Speaker 9: You know what? What's the website?
- 21:10Speaker 10: Candy Corn what?
- 21:12Speaker 3: Hold on. I've moved on.
- 21:14Speaker 11: Sorry.
- 21:15Speaker 3: CandyCornSeason.com.
- 21:17Speaker 9: I feel like this is a trend because Jell-O just
- 21:20Speaker 9: announced they're getting into cosmetics too. Like jello lip gloss
- 21:25Speaker 9: and jello.
- 21:26Speaker 3: His jello does smell good.
- 21:28Speaker 14: A 43-year-old guy in Florida was arrested after he stripped
- 21:31Speaker 14: naked inside a home goods store and exposed himself to
- 21:34Speaker 14: a shopper. He told her, I'm sorry, but I have
- 21:36Speaker 14: to do this.
- 21:37Speaker 3: What? No, you don't. You can always keep things on.
- 21:43Speaker 3: He showed her his goods at a home goods store.
- 21:46Speaker 19: All right.
- 21:46Speaker 3: This is interesting. There's an article that asks, is it
- 21:50Speaker 3: ever okay.
- 21:53Speaker 14: for childless adults to give parenting advice. Because even if
- 21:58Speaker 14: you don't have kids yourself, it's natural to have opinions.
- 22:02Speaker 10: Hot topic for my sister.
- 22:03Speaker 14: Oh, because you're giving her advice?
- 22:06Speaker 10: All the time.
- 22:06Speaker 12: I'm like, dude, they're bad. B-A, capital D, bad. And
- 22:11Speaker 12: I'll be trying to tell her. I'm like, listen, the
- 22:13Speaker 12: way you... My mom, my grandma, my dad, all of
- 22:15Speaker 12: them are guilty. I'm like, you guys are all a
- 22:17Speaker 12: bunch of suckers. You're letting these kids run you in circles.
- 22:20Speaker 12: And they tell me all the time, when you have kids,
- 22:22Speaker 12: when you have kids and you can talk. And I'm like,
- 22:25Speaker 12: I am the outsider here. I see the flawed system between.
- 22:29Speaker 10: All of you.
- 22:29Speaker 11: Right.
- 22:29Speaker 3: So is it OK for you to Kyle? You have kids.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Is it OK for people to do that, to give
- 22:33Speaker 3: parenting advice about kids?
- 22:35Speaker 9: I think if it's solicited, sure.
- 22:38Speaker 3: If it's solicited, that's a very good determination.
- 22:42Speaker 10: Literally, there are so many times where Kadeem is like,
- 22:44Speaker 10: just stop.
- 22:46Speaker 9: Just stop. Like if they were ever like, Peyton, what
- 22:48Speaker 9: do you think? Like, I recognize you. Like, what would
- 22:52Speaker 9: you do?
- 22:53Speaker 24: Sure.
- 22:54Speaker 9: That never gets asked. But unsolicited probably won't be met with.
- 22:57Speaker 10: I'm like, put him in timeout in the corner.
- 22:58Speaker 9: All right, so.
- 23:01Speaker 3: You know how you find a spider in your house?
- 23:02Speaker 3: Do you guys ever just take it outside?
- 23:04Speaker 18: No.
- 23:04Speaker 11: Nope.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Dead spider. I do that in my house. If I
- 23:07Speaker 3: find a bug or something, I take it outside.
- 23:09Speaker 14: There's this whole research that says most house spiders have
- 23:13Speaker 14: never lived outside, so moving them out to the yard
- 23:15Speaker 14: doesn't do them at all a favor.
- 23:17Speaker 3: It's a death sentence. No, I'm sure. Might as well
- 23:19Speaker 3: just kill them in your house.
- 23:20Speaker 14: Tesla famously designed the Cybertruck to survive the apocalypse, right?
- 23:26Speaker 14: That's why the Cybertruck was built.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I guess.
- 23:31Speaker 14: Two Cybertrucks now have hit fire hydrants and exploded. So
- 23:35Speaker 14: that's not going to save you. That wouldn't really survive it,
- 23:37Speaker 14: would it?
- 23:38Speaker 3: That would not save you in the apocalypse.
- 23:41Speaker 14: We talk a lot about Google searches sometimes. There's a
- 23:44Speaker 14: Google search called, why is my poop green? And every
- 23:47Speaker 14: day it peaks between 5 a.m.
- 23:49Speaker 3: And 6 a.m. and then again between 6 p.m. and
- 23:50Speaker 3: 7 p.m. That's a thing. People are always Googling. I
- 23:54Speaker 3: did not know that was a thing, but there you go.
- 23:56Speaker 14: BuzzFeed rounded up stories from admissions officers in school and colleges,
- 24:00Speaker 14: and they put together the wildest things ever submitted into
- 24:03Speaker 14: an application to join college. So a girl was applying
- 24:07Speaker 14: for med school, and she said that she panics under pressure,
- 24:10Speaker 14: lacks leadership skills, and dislikes hospitals.
- 24:13Speaker 3: And she's trying to apply to med school. Did she
- 24:16Speaker 3: make it in? Probably not.
- 24:18Speaker 14: One kid mailed his shoe in and then joked about
- 24:19Speaker 14: getting his foot in the door.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Funny. Someone wrote the entire essay in red crayon. I
- 24:25Speaker 3: did that. I ever tell you guys that story?
- 24:27Speaker 1: No.
- 24:27Speaker 14: I wrote three sketches for Sign Out Live and I
- 24:30Speaker 14: thought I'll get their attention by writing it all in crayon.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Never got response. Probably thought you were a crazy person.
- 24:38Speaker 14: A student asked if they could please not let them
- 24:41Speaker 14: into the school because they were pressured by their parents
- 24:43Speaker 14: to apply. One person said the happiest place was the
- 24:46Speaker 14: bathroom while using it. One lady said the reason she
- 24:49Speaker 14: wanted to go to law school so she could marry
- 24:50Speaker 14: a lawyer. And some kids said one of his talents
- 24:53Speaker 14: was being able to identify bra cup sizes by sight.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Wow.
- 24:56Speaker 3: They're all on college applications. Rich, what do you got
- 24:59Speaker 3: for life hacks? There's probably not much that can ruin
- 25:04Speaker 3: your day more than when a mystery pimple shows up.
- 25:07Speaker 3: A mystery zit. I got one right now, I think.
- 25:09Speaker 3: I saw it this morning over here. Oh, let's try
- 25:10Speaker 3: a thing. Let's try a thing. Okay, so if you
- 25:13Speaker 3: don't have the stickers like Peyton has, the cool zit,
- 25:15Speaker 3: those things, or no zit cream, they actually say the
- 25:18Speaker 3: fastest way to cure a zit is to pop open
- 25:20Speaker 3: an Advil and put that gel directly on the blemish.
- 25:24Speaker 3: It reduces the size and the redness, according to the
- 25:27Speaker 3: hack people, almost immediately. So- Look for an Advil. I
- 25:32Speaker 3: have some Advils, but I think they're powdered ones.
- 25:33Speaker 10: Yeah, well, you mix it with a little bit of water.
- 25:35Speaker 10: It's the same concept as using toothpaste on your zips.
- 25:38Speaker 10: On your zips. On your zips, because it dries it out.
- 25:40Speaker 3: But you know how you have a pimple, you feel it,
- 25:42Speaker 3: you know it's there. Yeah, the undergrads. I just saw
- 25:44Speaker 3: it in the mirror. I don't feel it. Maybe it's
- 25:46Speaker 3: not a pimple. Maybe it's something else. Bug bite?
- 25:48Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 25:49Speaker 3: I don't feel it.
- 25:50Speaker 10: Or it's a deep pimple.
- 25:51Speaker 3: I saw it. I was like, oh my God, somehow
- 25:52Speaker 3: my face is a little flawed. Well, let's crack open
- 25:55Speaker 3: some Advil on you. That's never happened. That zit hack
- 25:58Speaker 3: and many more can be found at johnjandrich.com. Hey, Molly,
- 26:03Speaker 3: what's up? You're on the air. Good morning.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh, you guys. So I'm having problems making
- 26:08Speaker 2: friends with other moms because I tried making friends with
- 26:12Speaker 2: this mom at my kid's school through a play date,
- 26:14Speaker 2: and it got so weird. Like, we were in the
- 26:17Speaker 2: kitchen while our kids were upstairs, and then her daughter
- 26:21Speaker 2: runs down for some water, looks at me, and randomly goes...
- 26:25Speaker 2: my mommy says your husband's really handsome and like yeah
- 26:29Speaker 2: I was like okay I like kind of laughed and
- 26:31Speaker 2: then the mom turns bright red and she goes oh
- 26:34Speaker 2: she's not supposed to say that and I was like
- 26:37Speaker 2: what is going on here then she admits to me
- 26:40Speaker 2: in person to my face that she has a tiny
- 26:43Speaker 2: crush on my.
- 26:43Speaker 17: Husband because she sees him in the drop-off line each
- 26:47Speaker 17: morning and I'm like okay and she's like actually can
- 26:51Speaker 17: I ask you something do you think he'd ever cheat
- 26:53Speaker 17: on you and I was like what what like no
- 26:58Speaker 17: what you know and apparently she and her husband got
- 27:01Speaker 17: into this huge fight because he caught her watching my
- 27:05Speaker 17: man through her car window like so weird and then
- 27:09Speaker 17: she starts crying and she says can you please ask
- 27:11Speaker 17: your husband to stop being so nice to me like
- 27:14Speaker 17: it's his fault And I'm sitting there thinking, like, lady,
- 27:17Speaker 17: I invited you over for a play date not to
- 27:19Speaker 17: steal my man. Like, what is happening here?
- 27:23Speaker 9: That's not a potential friend. That's a problem.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Yeah. That's a big problem. That started at red level 10.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Don't like it.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:31Speaker 3: All right, Molly.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I can't believe her husband knows about it, too.
- 27:35Speaker 17: Like, I'm like, get me out.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Of here, you know? I was like, and it was
- 27:39Speaker 2: an escape room play date. I was like, get me
- 27:41Speaker 2: out of here.
- 27:41Speaker 3: So what you're saying, it's tough to make friends as
- 27:44Speaker 3: an adult.
- 27:45Speaker 6: Like, dude, I don't even know.
- 27:46Speaker 2: You couldn't even background check that. You just find out
- 27:48Speaker 2: that they're weird. They date one.
- 27:50Speaker 21: I guess.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I think whenever that situation comes up and it comes
- 27:53Speaker 3: up a lot on the show, I think swingers.
- 27:54Speaker 5: Swingers.
- 27:56Speaker 9: One of them wants to be, but the husband clearly
- 27:59Speaker 9: does not.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Would he ever cheat on you? What a bizarre question.
- 28:02Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Thanks, Molly.
- 28:03Speaker 18: I like it.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Have a great day.
- 28:05Speaker 16: It is.
- 28:06Speaker 10: It is kind of.
- 28:07Speaker 9: It is kind of awkward making friends as like an adult.
- 28:10Speaker 9: I was actually just talking to Noah about this the
- 28:12Speaker 9: other day. He is in this weird situation where he's like,
- 28:16Speaker 9: I feel like I need to make friends, but I
- 28:17Speaker 9: don't really know how. And I'm like, I am in
- 28:20Speaker 9: a similar situation, but it's like, I don't necessarily feel
- 28:22Speaker 9: like I need to make friends, but like Easton started
- 28:24Speaker 9: this new baseball team and it's like all new parents.
- 28:27Speaker 9: And we've been with the same parents for like the
- 28:28Speaker 9: last five seasons. It's been very comfortable. Everyone gets along.
- 28:31Speaker 9: Everyone's kind of become friends. And I walk into this
- 28:33Speaker 9: new team and it's like, I feel like nobody wants
- 28:36Speaker 9: to be my friend. And I don't like that feeling
- 28:40Speaker 9: because I just want to be friends with everybody. Like
- 28:43Speaker 9: I want all of us moms to like make team hats.
- 28:45Speaker 9: And I was prepared to like make them for everybody.
- 28:47Speaker 9: And like nobody talks to each other. Like this is awkward.
- 28:50Speaker 3: This is just weird.
- 28:51Speaker 9: Like you would think. That, like, that would sort of
- 28:56Speaker 9: be a built-in, like, way to make friends as an adult. Like,
- 28:59Speaker 9: your kids' sports teams, obviously. Like, we obviously have, like,
- 29:02Speaker 9: kids with the same interests and whatnot.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Are they all friends together or they're just no one's
- 29:06Speaker 3: talking to anybody?
- 29:07Speaker 9: No, there's some that know each other, but, like, only
- 29:09Speaker 9: a few. But the majority, like, nobody talks.
- 29:13Speaker 3: That's weird. And I think that's so odd. I think
- 29:15Speaker 3: that's the age of cell phones and stuff because they've been...
- 29:17Speaker 3: Maybe you're the icebreaker because you are anyway, Kyle. Maybe
- 29:20Speaker 3: that's your gig now.
- 29:20Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 29:20Speaker 9: And his last team, like none of us knew each
- 29:23Speaker 9: other before the first couple seasons and everyone talked. And
- 29:25Speaker 9: then we ended up becoming like this like fun.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Well, how far along are you?
- 29:28Speaker 10: It's like just his.
- 29:29Speaker 9: First game was last night.
- 29:30Speaker 18: So it's still early.
- 29:31Speaker 10: But you kind of had matching mom hats for night one.
- 29:33Speaker 12: Kyle, I feel like it is difficult making friends as adults,
- 29:36Speaker 12: but like you just got to put yourself out there
- 29:39Speaker 12: like everyone wants.
- 29:40Speaker 10: Camaraderie.
- 29:40Speaker 12: Everybody wants connection again. Just put yourself out there. Put
- 29:44Speaker 12: them all in a group chat and just do it.
- 29:45Speaker 12: I literally just went to dinner last night with a
- 29:48Speaker 12: new friend that I met sitting at Zips at.
- 29:50Speaker 10: The bar just randomly.
- 29:51Speaker 9: New friend?
- 29:52Speaker 10: New friend at 28 years old.
- 29:54Speaker 9: And you guys, like, exchanged numbers?
- 29:56Speaker 10: Exchanged phone numbers. We are in a group chat called
- 29:58Speaker 10: Zip Baddies.
- 29:59Speaker 12: It's me, her, and another one, my friend Kendall, but
- 30:04Speaker 12: we all are introducing her to our friend groups.
- 30:06Speaker 10: It's been really.
- 30:07Speaker 12: Really fun to get to know someone, but you've got
- 30:08Speaker 12: to put yourself out there, girl.
- 30:10Speaker 9: I feel like I am, but it's not like being accepted.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Sloan, is it hard to make friends as an adult?
- 30:16Speaker 10: Oh, yes.
- 30:18Speaker 8: I get a little nervous making friends as an adult.
- 30:22Speaker 8: And my husband and I recently moved into our new neighborhood.
- 30:25Speaker 8: We've been here, you know, about a month. It's been fun.
- 30:28Speaker 8: And he really wanted to be friends, especially when you're
- 30:32Speaker 8: going to be living next to people all the time.
- 30:34Speaker 6: You want to be friends with them.
- 30:35Speaker 8: So he was hanging out with them. They'd drink, you know,
- 30:38Speaker 8: at night. They'd hang out like outside and they'd talk
- 30:41Speaker 8: about those things that are going on. And then one
- 30:44Speaker 8: of the guys started talking about how there's a package
- 30:47Speaker 8: stealer apparently in the neighborhood. And so for some reason,
- 30:51Speaker 8: my husband took this as an opportunity to prove himself.
- 30:55Speaker 8: And he's like, he wants to protect this. And he
- 30:58Speaker 8: came back and told me everything. And he was like,
- 31:00Speaker 8: you know, if somebody tries my house, I'm going to
- 31:03Speaker 8: tackle them. And I'm like, okay, because like, you're not
- 31:07Speaker 8: going to single-handedly protect this entire neighborhood, but. Apparently he can.
- 31:13Speaker 8: And then later that same exact night, we hear a noise.
- 31:16Speaker 8: It's kind of weird. And he sees that there's some
- 31:20Speaker 8: guy just climbing over a fence. So this is like, oh,
- 31:23Speaker 8: he springs into action, does not even put on a
- 31:26Speaker 8: damn shirt or pants. He is literally in full on
- 31:30Speaker 8: underwear chasing this man.
- 31:32Speaker 3: That's what I would expect.
- 31:34Speaker 8: And I'm like, oh, my gosh. And he ends up
- 31:37Speaker 8: catching this guy.
- 31:38Speaker 6: I mean, my husband is fit.
- 31:39Speaker 3: He's fast.
- 31:40Speaker 8: And he ends up catching the guy. And he, like,
- 31:43Speaker 8: you know, thinks that he's Batman. He's like, oh, my God,
- 31:45Speaker 8: I've done it.
- 31:46Speaker 6: And then once the.
- 31:47Speaker 8: Cops come up, they put him in handcuffs.
- 31:50Speaker 11: Whoa.
- 31:50Speaker 8: And they say, what are you doing tackling the homeowner
- 31:54Speaker 8: of this house?
- 31:55Speaker 3: Hilarious.
- 31:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 8: First of all, he definitely made him a little red.
- 32:06Speaker 8: He definitely is now known in the neighborhood as the
- 32:09Speaker 8: wannabe vigilante. And that is how he will remain.
- 32:12Speaker 14: But now since then, is he made friends with everybody
- 32:17Speaker 14: in the neighborhood or it's too late that because of that,
- 32:19Speaker 14: it's not going to happen.
- 32:20Speaker 8: I mean, no, they definitely liked it.
- 32:22Speaker 23: They liked to make friends.
- 32:23Speaker 3: I would love that guy. I would love that guy.
- 32:27Speaker 8: Yeah, it definitely worked. Maybe not how he thought it would,
- 32:30Speaker 8: but hey, they liked him.
- 32:32Speaker 3: All right, that's a good way to make friends. Thanks, Lois.
- 32:34Speaker 14: There you go, Kyle and Paige. You need to be
- 32:36Speaker 14: a vigilante in your baseball team, baseball moms. Mary, is
- 32:40Speaker 14: it hard making friends as an adult?
- 32:43Speaker 6: Yes, it is actually very hard making friends as an adult.
- 32:47Speaker 3: What's going on in your world with that?
- 32:50Speaker 6: So, I mean, okay, it was a while ago, but
- 32:53Speaker 6: when my husband and I got married, he had a
- 32:56Speaker 6: huge group of friends, and they were all, you know,
- 33:00Speaker 6: switching in and out of being groomsmen for each other.
- 33:02Speaker 6: So I needed to come up with four bridesmaids. And
- 33:05Speaker 6: for some people, that might sound like, oh, four, that's
- 33:08Speaker 6: not a lot.
- 33:09Speaker 19: For me, kind of a lot.
- 33:11Speaker 6: So he had a good friend who had a girlfriend,
- 33:16Speaker 6: and he was kind of encouraging me to reach out
- 33:18Speaker 6: and like, oh, why don't you get together with Kim,
- 33:20Speaker 6: and maybe she can be a bridesmaid. And I'm like, okay, well, sure.
- 33:25Speaker 6: So I reach out and set up a time to
- 33:29Speaker 6: go to lunch and go with this woman, and everything
- 33:33Speaker 6: was just like awkward, right? Like I couldn't I'd met
- 33:38Speaker 6: her a couple of times. We maybe talked casually, but
- 33:41Speaker 6: I couldn't like figure out why I was getting all
- 33:44Speaker 6: these like weird, like weird vibes off of her. And
- 33:48Speaker 6: we like just didn't gel. And I don't honestly even
- 33:54Speaker 6: remember like if we had anything in common other than
- 33:57Speaker 6: we went to Red Robin and we both seemed like fries.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 34:02Speaker 3: That's how Peyton got on zips with her zip baddies
- 34:04Speaker 3: yeah Ziparito will do.
- 34:05Speaker 6: That to you though So it was just, it was
- 34:09Speaker 6: like profoundly uncomfortable. And so, you know, afterward I told my, now,
- 34:14Speaker 6: you know, now we've been married a long time, my husband,
- 34:17Speaker 6: I'm like, okay, wow, that didn't work out. And then
- 34:20Speaker 6: he tells me, oh yeah, you know, we went out once,
- 34:24Speaker 6: but it was like four years ago and it didn't
- 34:26Speaker 6: really work out with us because she really was interested
- 34:29Speaker 6: in my friend Anthony. And I think She just wanted
- 34:32Speaker 6: to like go out with me to ask me questions
- 34:35Speaker 6: about Anthony the whole night. And I was like, you know, why,
- 34:39Speaker 6: why did that not ever come up? This was a
- 34:43Speaker 6: girl that you were interested enough in to ask out.
- 34:46Speaker 6: And then now you're trying to like push her on
- 34:49Speaker 6: me to be a bridesmaid. It was just, it was,
- 34:52Speaker 6: it was profoundly like one of those awkward situations. I
- 34:57Speaker 6: think I've ever felt myself like I found myself in.
- 35:00Speaker 6: And then a few times we did have to see
- 35:02Speaker 6: them like socially afterward. Um, I just tried to not
- 35:06Speaker 6: be like around where she was. I think I kind
- 35:09Speaker 6: of got the vibe that she was doing the same thing.
- 35:10Speaker 3: So. Okay. That's tough. Making friends as adults. You backed
- 35:14Speaker 3: it up. Thanks, Mary.
- 35:16Speaker 6: Yeah, no problem. Thank you.
- 35:22Speaker 3: It's John Shane Rich. Basir, what's up, man? You're on
- 35:28Speaker 3: the air.
- 35:29Speaker 13: Yo, what's up?
- 35:29Speaker 6: How you doing?
- 35:30Speaker 18: Good, man.
- 35:30Speaker 3: What can we do for you?
- 35:32Speaker 16: Okay, so I.
- 35:33Speaker 7: Have a quick story to tell you guys.
- 35:35Speaker 18: Okay.
- 35:38Speaker 7: Okay, so whenever I was incarcerated, I was incarcerated five
- 35:43Speaker 7: years consecutive. And so, like, one day we decided to
- 35:48Speaker 7: just go through the radio and we stumbled across your show.
- 35:51Speaker 7: So me and a few guys.
- 35:53Speaker 3: We used to listen to your show every day.
- 35:54Speaker 9: And then on.
- 35:55Speaker 7: Thursdays, you used to do the War of the Roses.
- 35:59Speaker 7: And so we all got so hyped up for it.
- 36:01Speaker 7: And then one time, y'all didn't do it one Thursday.
- 36:03Speaker 7: So we came together and decided, you know what, we're
- 36:06Speaker 7: going to make our own War of the Roses. So
- 36:08Speaker 7: we all threw our girlfriends and exes' numbers into a pot.
- 36:14Speaker 7: And then we decided someone was going to call and
- 36:16Speaker 7: pretend like, hey, you know what I'm saying? Your boyfriend
- 36:20Speaker 7: said this or he gave me your number and see
- 36:21Speaker 7: if she fought for it.
- 36:25Speaker 10: And?
- 36:26Speaker 7: Surprisingly, I did it like myself. I did it for
- 36:30Speaker 7: somebody probably about 12 times. And I was 11 out
- 36:33Speaker 7: of 12.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Wow, man. I want to hear that show. I can't believe.
- 36:37Speaker 3: I don't think we've ever missed a Thursday War of
- 36:39Speaker 3: the Roses. Yeah, I wonder what happened. I'm glad you
- 36:41Speaker 3: guys listened in prison. What prison were you in?
- 36:44Speaker 7: I was all the way in Florida. See, I'm from Arizona,
- 36:47Speaker 7: but I was in Florida at Coleman Federal Prison.
- 36:51Speaker 3: In Florida? Yeah. Right on. And you were listed on
- 36:54Speaker 3: the iHeart app? That's very cool, man. Thanks, Basir. And
- 36:57Speaker 3: now you're out. Now you're good. What are you doing
- 36:58Speaker 3: for a living now?
- 37:00Speaker 7: Yeah, so now I have a couple of dispensaries out
- 37:03Speaker 7: of Oklahoma.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Right on, man.
- 37:05Speaker 7: So, yeah, that's where I came up with thinking about baiting.
- 37:09Speaker 7: And so I was like, you know, Paige should try
- 37:11Speaker 7: the cannabis infused hot Cheetos.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Oh, they're amazing. You got her paying attention all of
- 37:18Speaker 3: a sudden.
- 37:20Speaker 10: Sign me up.
- 37:22Speaker 7: And they also have them like they have them in
- 37:24Speaker 7: Takis as well.
- 37:27Speaker 3: I'm glad you listen, man. Hey, thanks for calling in
- 37:30Speaker 3: and thank you so much for listening. All right. Thank
- 37:33Speaker 3: you guys, man. That's very cool. That's very cool. Oh,
- 37:36Speaker 3: here's a text about friends. We were talking about how
- 37:37Speaker 3: hard it is to make friends as an adult. She goes,
- 37:41Speaker 3: I'm about to turn 40 and gross. I don't want
- 37:43Speaker 3: to make new friends. I don't like people my age.
- 37:45Speaker 10: LOL.
- 37:45Speaker 3: I'm good with my six friends, my one fiance, and
- 37:48Speaker 3: the rest are my dogs.
- 37:50Speaker 10: Some people really are just content, though.
- 37:52Speaker 3: They like that circle to be small.
- 37:54Speaker 10: I get it.
- 37:54Speaker 3: I think it's harder to keep friends as an adult.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Life gets in the way, so you don't really socialize
- 37:59Speaker 3: to keep friends.
- 38:01Speaker 9: I could see that because I feel like when you
- 38:04Speaker 9: make new friends, it takes a lot of extra effort.
- 38:07Speaker 4: Yes.
- 38:07Speaker 11: Right.
- 38:08Speaker 9: But then when you have like maybe friends from back
- 38:10Speaker 9: in the day, you may not need to see each other,
- 38:12Speaker 9: but once or twice a year and things are still
- 38:14Speaker 9: kind of the same. So it takes a lot more
- 38:17Speaker 9: effort with a new friend.
- 38:19Speaker 18: Than with an old friend.
- 38:19Speaker 14: When you see these people that are like a hundred
- 38:21Speaker 14: years old, one of the things they all have in
- 38:22Speaker 14: common is that they socialize. They have a big social
- 38:25Speaker 14: network and they're friends and they have coffee and they
- 38:28Speaker 14: meet with people. And I was thinking my father-in-law is 89.
- 38:31Speaker 14: and completely healthy. And he goes out and he has
- 38:34Speaker 14: lunch once a month with people he went.
- 38:35Speaker 3: To high school with. That's cool.
- 38:37Speaker 14: He has all these friends. So because of that inspired me.
- 38:40Speaker 14: So I have like, I have like four new friends
- 38:42Speaker 14: that I've made in the last couple of years.
- 38:43Speaker 3: They're pretty close.
- 38:44Speaker 9: Whoa. Who is this new John J.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Van Ness?
- 38:48Speaker 6: Friends?
- 38:48Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 38:50Speaker 3: And I like him a lot too. That's what's cool. Anyway,
- 38:53Speaker 3: over the weekend, you see the Cardinals won yesterday.
- 38:55Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 38:55Speaker 3: I was surprised.
- 38:56Speaker 9: Everyone was, but they looked good.
- 38:58Speaker 3: They didn't look too bad.
- 38:59Speaker 9: I was like, all right.
- 39:00Speaker 3: I was upstairs in my room watching TV, and my son,
- 39:03Speaker 3: two of my boys were watching football on two different TVs,
- 39:06Speaker 3: and my son texted me.
- 39:08Speaker 14: I was watching Chad Powers. I didn't want to watch football,
- 39:10Speaker 14: so I watched football adjacent. And my son texted me
- 39:13Speaker 14: and says, I love the new Cardinals coach. I was like,
- 39:16Speaker 14: why would you?
- 39:17Speaker 9: Yeah, he's like the first one since, what, 1972 to
- 39:20Speaker 9: win the first game of the season?
- 39:21Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 39:21Speaker 14: Because you can see, my son said that they liked it.
- 39:24Speaker 14: You can see him lip sync. You can see Rita's
- 39:27Speaker 14: lips where he said the F word, and he said,
- 39:29Speaker 14: you can't.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Guard him.
- 39:31Speaker 14: And he was pissed off about a penalty call. Anyway,
- 39:34Speaker 14: but hey, on TV tonight, you got Monday Night Football.
- 39:36Speaker 14: You got the Kansas City Chiefs down, Denver Broncos, and
- 39:38Speaker 14: the Emmy Awards, which I'm kind of excited about. I'm
- 39:42Speaker 14: a big fan of the Emmy Awards.
- 39:43Speaker 3: So I'm hoping some of the TV shows that we
- 39:44Speaker 3: watch are going to win some stuff. But speaking of TV,
- 39:48Speaker 3: Yesterday dropped a new episode of Lioness. Saw it. That
- 39:52Speaker 3: show's unbelievable. I mean, it might be one of the
- 39:55Speaker 3: better shows on TV, but I don't know if it's
- 39:56Speaker 3: for everybody.
- 39:57Speaker 17: Why?
- 39:58Speaker 3: Well, because I don't know. Maybe it's just a little
- 40:01Speaker 3: too because the dialogue goes on for a long time.
- 40:04Speaker 3: I'm there. It's adventurous. There's all kinds of cool stuff
- 40:06Speaker 3: going on, but they have long scenes, which it's fast
- 40:09Speaker 3: talking for like 20 minutes. So I don't know if
- 40:11Speaker 3: I'd recommend it to Peyton per se.
- 40:13Speaker 12: I was going to say, I actually have a couple
- 40:14Speaker 12: of friends who were like, this is the best show
- 40:17Speaker 12: on TV right now, which kind of makes me like
- 40:19Speaker 12: want to get into it because yeah, they never really
- 40:22Speaker 12: got into like what the actual plot.
- 40:24Speaker 10: Was, but yeah, I mean, I'm in.
- 40:26Speaker 3: No, Linus is sick.
- 40:27Speaker 18: I mean, you guys are talking about it.
- 40:28Speaker 10: Everyone's talking about it.
- 40:29Speaker 3: I know.
- 40:30Speaker 9: I feel like when there's a show like that that
- 40:31Speaker 9: everyone's talking about and it's already on season two, I
- 40:33Speaker 9: feel like I'm too late.
- 40:34Speaker 3: Yeah. I feel like you could watch season three. You
- 40:38Speaker 3: could start season three because I feel like each season
- 40:41Speaker 3: that show gets better and better. This is the best
- 40:43Speaker 3: season by far, but I don't know that you need
- 40:46Speaker 3: that much background to start season three. Well, I don't know.
- 40:49Speaker 14: I think a lot of issues happening in season three
- 40:52Speaker 14: are tied to season one.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Okay.
- 40:55Speaker 14: Um, but let me tell you, I watched crew girl.
- 40:56Speaker 14: Do you guys watch crew girl? That's number one or
- 40:58Speaker 14: number two on Netflix right now. Right now the preacher's
- 41:00Speaker 14: wife thing is like unstoppable.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:02Speaker 14: Crew girl is number two on Netflix and it's very
- 41:05Speaker 14: Sterling point, but nowhere near as good as Sterling point.
- 41:08Speaker 9: I thought you would want to watch that. Cause didn't you,
- 41:10Speaker 9: you were on like the crew team.
- 41:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:11Speaker 3: I was on the team in college. So I would
- 41:13Speaker 3: kind of wanted to watch it. So I did watch it.
- 41:14Speaker 3: It's about a girl. And her dad gets arrested, and
- 41:17Speaker 3: she's a rower, and they move to Massachusetts, and there's
- 41:20Speaker 3: no girls' rowing team. So she joins the boys' rowing team. Yeah,
- 41:23Speaker 3: that sounds awesome. And, you know, at the end, they win.
- 41:26Speaker 3: At the end, it's all like all the reveals. Like,
- 41:30Speaker 3: you know, the dad comes back, and then everything happens
- 41:33Speaker 3: at the very end at the party. You know, it
- 41:36Speaker 3: wasn't very good, but I watched it. And so here's
- 41:38Speaker 3: a show I started watching on Apple, and this is
- 41:40Speaker 3: what I was going to tell Kyle about. I'm on
- 41:42Speaker 3: the fence about it. I hope it's good. I watched
- 41:44Speaker 3: one episode. It stars the guy from calling from accounts.
- 41:49Speaker 10: Okay.
- 41:50Speaker 9: I like that guy.
- 41:50Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 41:51Speaker 14: He plays a 911 operator whose daughter was missing 11
- 41:56Speaker 14: years ago.
- 41:57Speaker 3: And they find a body. And now he's looking for
- 42:01Speaker 3: the daughter because he thinks she's still alive.
- 42:04Speaker 11: Oh.
- 42:04Speaker 3: And I've watched one episode. And at the end of
- 42:07Speaker 3: the first episode... They do one of those things where
- 42:09Speaker 3: they go, here's what's coming up this season. And they
- 42:12Speaker 3: do a montage of stuff, you know? And so it's like,
- 42:14Speaker 3: when I saw it, I kind of felt the montage
- 42:16Speaker 3: gave me everything. So you don't have to watch it anymore?
- 42:18Speaker 14: I was like, do I want to watch this? I'm
- 42:19Speaker 14: hoping somebody else watches it. No, trust me. You got
- 42:21Speaker 14: to stick it out.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Didn't they just do that with the guy from Avatar
- 42:24Speaker 3: where his son went missing? And he's like, I believe
- 42:26Speaker 3: he's alive, but he breaks out. Yeah. Did we just
- 42:28Speaker 3: watch that show? Like a version of that? Yeah, but
- 42:30Speaker 3: this guy's a cop.
- 42:30Speaker 5: Oh.
- 42:31Speaker 3: This guy's a cop. The first episode's really good. Really good.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Really the best show on TV, Kyle. I know you're
- 42:36Speaker 3: gonna agree with me. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:38Speaker 9: I haven't started the new season yet.
- 42:40Speaker 3: I've watched all five already.
- 42:41Speaker 10: All five.
- 42:42Speaker 18: All five.
- 42:43Speaker 9: I think I'm kind of like putting it off a
- 42:44Speaker 9: little bit because I'm sad there's only five episodes.
- 42:47Speaker 3: Let me tell you, the tea is hot from episode
- 42:49Speaker 3: number one. It stays hot the whole time. And you
- 42:51Speaker 3: can't believe what they're admitting on TV because it is
- 42:54Speaker 3: not good for any of their personalities or brands.
- 42:57Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 42:57Speaker 3: But they go deep.
- 42:59Speaker 12: I've never seen it, so I just, yesterday was the
- 43:01Speaker 12: first time, and I just watched, never seen an episode.
- 43:04Speaker 12: And so I just went to this most recent season,
- 43:06Speaker 12: and I noticed, I'm like, they aren't giving Taylor Frankie.
- 43:09Speaker 10: Paul any love on this show right now. She is, like,
- 43:11Speaker 10: almost non-existent.
- 43:13Speaker 9: But if you watch the seasons before, then you kind of.
- 43:15Speaker 10: See how that happens.
- 43:16Speaker 12: Yeah, in this season, she's all over it. As of now,
- 43:18Speaker 12: I think Layla's my favorite. But that's as of now.
- 43:22Speaker 10: I don't know them.
- 43:24Speaker 9: I feel like the way producers produce reality shows, your
- 43:28Speaker 9: favorite shifts every season.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 43:30Speaker 14: By the way, the show is talking about it's on
- 43:31Speaker 14: Apple TV and it's called last scene. Last scene is
- 43:35Speaker 14: number four on Apple TV right now. And it's a, it,
- 43:38Speaker 14: it has potential, I think. So if you saw it,
- 43:40Speaker 14: let me know if it's good. Number one movie, the
- 43:42Speaker 14: box office, practical magic, right? The witches, the witches. And
- 43:45Speaker 14: because of that show, we're going to have a witch
- 43:47Speaker 14: on our show. And like in 15, 20 minutes that
- 43:50Speaker 14: can reverse the curse.
- 43:52Speaker 3: That's pretty cool.
- 43:53Speaker 14: Yeah, so if you've been cursed, call us at 877-937-1047
- 43:56Speaker 14: because we can put you on with a witch. And
- 44:00Speaker 14: the witch can reverse the curse. But right now, though,
- 44:02Speaker 14: we are going to play Minute to Win it, so
- 44:03Speaker 14: we do need a contestant at 877-937-1047. Then we're going
- 44:08Speaker 14: to get into hexing your ex.
- 44:10Speaker 3: Everything rhymes today. It's about time. Hex your ex, reverse
- 44:14Speaker 3: the curse. But we're going to have a real witch on,
- 44:16Speaker 3: like a real legitimate. What's her? She's like a fifth-generation
- 44:20Speaker 3: witch from the Salem witch trials. She comes from that
- 44:25Speaker 3: kind of lot.
- 44:26Speaker 4: Wow.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Yeah. She can do all kinds of stuff. She is
- 44:29Speaker 3: a magic person. Oh, look, people calling about making friends,
- 44:32Speaker 3: adult friends. And then we'll play Minute to Win It.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Just whenever.
- 44:45Speaker 13: Hi, Lee.
- 44:57Speaker 23: Hi, good morning, John Jay.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Hi, what's up?
- 45:01Speaker 23: First off, I wanted to say, have you looked up
- 45:03Speaker 23: WikiFeet yet?
- 45:05Speaker 3: I am familiar with WikiFeet, yeah.
- 45:08Speaker 23: Okay, well, one thing I wanted to say about making
- 45:10Speaker 23: friends as you're older, we just got our daughter off
- 45:13Speaker 23: to college.
- 45:13Speaker 8: She's 18.
- 45:14Speaker 23: She's like, you and dad need to make more friends.
- 45:16Speaker 23: And I said, okay, you're 18 now. You can know this.
- 45:19Speaker 23: We have tried, but we had two couples that lived
- 45:23Speaker 23: across the street from the neighborhood we moved in recently.
- 45:26Speaker 23: And come to find out we had them over, whatever,
- 45:28Speaker 23: and it was weird. And then come to find out
- 45:29Speaker 23: the two, the husband and the wife, were sleeping with
- 45:33Speaker 23: one another. And what have you. And so we were like,
- 45:38Speaker 23: found out that was going on. So we weren't friends
- 45:40Speaker 23: with them anymore. They both sold their houses. Wait, hold on.
- 45:43Speaker 9: You said the husband and the wife were sleeping together,
- 45:45Speaker 9: but wouldn't they do that because they're a husband and wife?
- 45:48Speaker 11: No, no.
- 45:48Speaker 23: So the two couples. from across the street, from two
- 45:51Speaker 23: different houses, came over. The husband from the one house
- 45:55Speaker 23: was sleeping with the other wife, and the wife was
- 45:57Speaker 23: sleeping with the husband. And we did not know that.
- 46:00Speaker 23: We did not know that at the time. And then
- 46:02Speaker 23: come to find out, having them both over, I guess
- 46:04Speaker 23: it offset this whole thing, and then brought out, like,
- 46:07Speaker 23: the one husband was having, like, all these affairs with
- 46:09Speaker 23: other women, but then he was also sleeping with a
- 46:11Speaker 23: woman up the street. And then they both sold their houses.
- 46:14Speaker 23: The one house was still on the market, and the
- 46:16Speaker 23: one wife was having an affair with a bunch of
- 46:18Speaker 23: other people, too. and whatnot. And so I said, yeah,
- 46:21Speaker 23: so dad and I aren't really friends with other people
- 46:23Speaker 23: because we're not going to sleep with people who are
- 46:25Speaker 23: having sex with the neighbors.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Oh, those sound like fun. Wow. Not saying you're not
- 46:30Speaker 3: going to sleep with people, but not just not in
- 46:33Speaker 3: that situation.
- 46:34Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 46:35Speaker 23: So, so we were just like, yeah.
- 46:36Speaker 19: We're not going to, she's like, that's why their houses
- 46:38Speaker 19: went on the market.
- 46:39Speaker 23: Like I said, yeah, so you're 18 now. Now you
- 46:42Speaker 23: can know this.
- 46:44Speaker 3: Hey, Lee, how come you brought up WikiFeed and then
- 46:46Speaker 3: just moved on?
- 46:48Speaker 23: I thought of you the other day, and this is
- 46:49Speaker 23: so bad. My daughter got me to deep dive into
- 46:52Speaker 23: that NYC new generation. And so I guess they had
- 46:55Speaker 23: this thing called WikiFeed on there where they were looking
- 46:57Speaker 23: at feet where that's actually post people's feet without even
- 47:00Speaker 23: people knowing it. And they rate them.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Kyle's got a five out of five. She's
- 47:04Speaker 3: got one of the highest scores you can get.
- 47:06Speaker 4: In the world.
- 47:06Speaker 23: I was just like, oh, my God. I'm sure John
- 47:08Speaker 23: Jay's probably the top one on there with Kyle and Fugsy,
- 47:11Speaker 23: I'm sure.
- 47:11Speaker 3: Yeah, Kyle is literally one of the top foot people
- 47:14Speaker 3: on WikiFeed. It's pretty amazing. Yeah.
- 47:16Speaker 23: That's pretty awesome. But, yeah, so it's a lot harder
- 47:19Speaker 23: to make friends when you're older, especially when the people
- 47:21Speaker 23: across the street were hooking up with one another.
- 47:23Speaker 25: Yeah.
- 47:24Speaker 3: That could be a challenge. Well, Lee, thank you so
- 47:26Speaker 3: much for listening. Have a great day.
- 47:28Speaker 23: Okay, well, have a great morning, you guys. I love you,
- 47:30Speaker 23: and go KC.
- 47:32Speaker 16: Go Chief.
- 47:32Speaker 3: All right, all right.
- 47:34Speaker 14: We're talking about also this practical magic. We want to
- 47:36Speaker 14: hex your ex. Christy, are you there?
- 47:40Speaker 24: I'm here.
- 47:40Speaker 3: So do you want us to put a hex on
- 47:42Speaker 3: your ex?
- 47:45Speaker 19: Not quite exactly my ex, but my ex career. I
- 47:48Speaker 19: literally walked out of my job this morning.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Oh, right on.
- 47:51Speaker 9: Oh, wow.
- 47:54Speaker 3: What was your job? What happened?
- 47:57Speaker 19: I work in the print industry. I print your utility bills.
- 48:01Speaker 19: So think of all like the major companies in Arizona.
- 48:05Speaker 19: I do all the billing for them, printing it. And
- 48:08Speaker 19: I just got fed up with the way my management
- 48:10Speaker 19: was handling things.
- 48:11Speaker 3: So you just quit?
- 48:14Speaker 19: I just, I walked in this morning, cleared out my locker,
- 48:17Speaker 19: handed them my key fob and walked out.
- 48:19Speaker 3: Okay, so you want us to hex?
- 48:20Speaker 19: You want us to put a.
- 48:22Speaker 3: Hex on that company?
- 48:25Speaker 5: Yes.
- 48:25Speaker 3: Okay, here we go. Those are evil squirrels. Well, you
- 48:36Speaker 3: don't want to mess with evil squirrels. I'll tell you
- 48:37Speaker 3: that right now. Evil squirrels. Where's the hex? All right, Christy,
- 48:43Speaker 3: have a great day. Thanks for listening.
- 48:46Speaker 8: You too.
- 48:47Speaker 14: By the way, if you want us to hex your ex,
- 48:49Speaker 14: call us at 877-937-1047. Right now, though, we'll do it
- 48:52Speaker 14: after a.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Minute to win it. James, good morning.
- 48:56Speaker 7: Morning.
- 48:57Speaker 3: All right, you're our contestant, dude. What are you doing
- 48:59Speaker 3: right now? I am on the way to work. What
- 49:03Speaker 3: part of town do you work? What do you do
- 49:04Speaker 3: for a living?
- 49:05Speaker 1: You're going to be crazy because Peyton already said it.
- 49:07Speaker 20: I work at Zips.
- 49:08Speaker 18: Oh, my kind of guy.
- 49:10Speaker 10: I hope you get this money.
- 49:12Speaker 3: Well, you're starting early. Oh, man. GM, so inventory today.
- 49:17Speaker 3: All right. Let's go. Good luck.
- 49:20Speaker 23: John jay and rich have one thousand dollars cash for
- 49:22Speaker 23: you from peoria ford right.
- 49:24Speaker 3: Now minute to win it okay 60 seconds on the
- 49:27Speaker 3: clock get all 10 right you get a thousand dollars
- 49:30Speaker 3: james here we go what movie and sequel about a
- 49:33Speaker 3: family of witches star sandra bullock and nicole kidman.
- 49:39Speaker 18: Oh, my.
- 49:46Speaker 3: Number one at the box office this week, too.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 49:51Speaker 3: The sequel is number one, I should say.
- 49:59Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 50:00Speaker 3: And I already just lost the game. God dang it. TicketCast,
- 50:03Speaker 3: you might be right.
- 50:09Speaker 22: I got to say witches.
- 50:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 50:11Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Close.
- 50:17Speaker 8: Close.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Looking for practical magic. Oh, my God.
- 50:20Speaker 1: You guys just said that on the radio, too.
- 50:22Speaker 22: I was wondering.
- 50:22Speaker 1: I was trying to figure it out, too.
- 50:24Speaker 18: Sorry. I was rooting for you, James.
- 50:27Speaker 3: Especially since he is a hero because he works at Zips.
- 50:29Speaker 9: I love Zips.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Well, James, we're going to set you up with a
- 50:34Speaker 3: gift card to Del Taco. Del Taco.
- 50:38Speaker 13: Gotcha.
- 50:39Speaker 3: Thank you guys so much. You got it, James. Hold on.
- 50:40Speaker 3: I'm going to get your information.
- 50:41Speaker 9: That's a bummer.
- 50:44Speaker 3: That went quick. You know what's funny is whenever someone
- 50:48Speaker 3: loses in the first question, the amount of hate texts
- 50:51Speaker 3: that we get. For us? If they're mad at us?
- 50:54Speaker 3: At the contestants.
- 50:55Speaker 11: Oh.
- 50:56Speaker 9: But it's so different when you are the contestant.
- 50:58Speaker 3: It's true. It's true. The people that hate the most,
- 51:01Speaker 3: if they get, I mean, because we've had people get
- 51:02Speaker 3: on here and be like, I'm going to rock this.
- 51:05Speaker 3: And they just get caught up in the headlights. It happens.
- 51:07Speaker 9: It's just like a weird extra set of pressure that
- 51:10Speaker 9: falls upon you in the moment.
- 51:12Speaker 3: I wasn't expecting the person to be gone that soon
- 51:15Speaker 3: because we're going to do hex your ex.
- 51:17Speaker 14: We're also going to have a witch on. So if
- 51:18Speaker 14: you want to put a hex on your ex, we
- 51:19Speaker 14: have the power to, it's like a voodoo doll. We're
- 51:23Speaker 14: going to put a hex on your ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, ex-work, ex-husband, ex-wife.
- 51:28Speaker 3: Call us at 877-937-1047. And the hex, well, here's the hex.
- 51:38Speaker 3: I'm kind of scary. Hello. John Jay and Rich, you
- 51:46Speaker 3: want to put a hex on your ex?
- 51:51Speaker 9: No, I'm good there.
- 51:52Speaker 22: That is quite something, though.
- 51:56Speaker 3: You had a great witch's laugh, though, in the very beginning.
- 51:58Speaker 3: That was great. Oh, yeah, it's pretty strong.
- 52:02Speaker 26: Well, I was calling.
- 52:03Speaker 15: I just heard Courtney.
- 52:04Speaker 13: I was kind of listening on and off on my
- 52:07Speaker 13: way to a doctor's appointment. But hearing her whole story now.
- 52:11Speaker 15: I'm 46 years old.
- 52:12Speaker 13: I have a girlfriend that I've had for 28 years.
- 52:15Speaker 13: We met my senior year in high school.
- 52:18Speaker 11: And literally, last week, she was coming over to hang out.
- 52:24Speaker 11: We watched Trash TV and Bravo and all that good stuff.
- 52:27Speaker 3: And my husband.
- 52:28Speaker 11: was going to be home from work early and he
- 52:30Speaker 11: was in the living room watching TV and he was like, hey,
- 52:33Speaker 11: I can go downstairs and watch this.
- 52:35Speaker 13: And I was like, no, it's no problem.
- 52:37Speaker 11: We're going to go in the bedroom.
- 52:39Speaker 13: And he was like, looks at me and he's like,
- 52:41Speaker 13: what do you mean.
- 52:41Speaker 9: You're going to the bedroom?
- 52:42Speaker 13: I was like, yeah, we cuddle in bed and.
- 52:44Speaker 11: Watch TV and talk and hang out.
- 52:46Speaker 15: And he just kind of looks at me and tilts
- 52:48Speaker 15: his head and he was like, seriously?
- 52:50Speaker 22: And I was like, yeah, we've been doing.
- 52:52Speaker 13: This since I was in high school. Like we hang
- 52:55Speaker 13: out in bed.
- 52:56Speaker 3: We chat, we whatever.
- 52:58Speaker 13: So I think it's totally normal.
- 53:00Speaker 3: I am mid forties.
- 53:01Speaker 9: I get it.
- 53:02Speaker 13: Girl friendships are way different than guy friendships.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Because Courtney's thing was how her husband got all mad.
- 53:08Speaker 3: It was Courtney was calling us from Brussels.
- 53:12Speaker 22: And I, and I do totally get.
- 53:15Speaker 13: Especially if he's a germaphobe being like, Whoa, the stranger
- 53:18Speaker 13: slept in my bed. But I mean, also, I don't
- 53:22Speaker 13: think any of us should really be in trouble with
- 53:26Speaker 13: our spouses on something like friendships. But anyway, that's just
- 53:32Speaker 13: my take on it.
- 53:33Speaker 3: Well, thank you very much for calling in, and I
- 53:35Speaker 3: love your laugh.
- 53:37Speaker 6: Oh, thank you.
- 53:37Speaker 13: You guys are awesome. I love listening to you every morning.
- 53:41Speaker 3: Have a great day.
- 53:41Speaker 18: You too.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Thanks, guys. What's up, Eric? You're on the air.
- 53:48Speaker 5: Hi.
- 53:48Speaker 1: So I was listening to you guys last week and
- 53:52Speaker 1: I was listening.
- 53:53Speaker 3: To the post breakup whole thing.
- 53:55Speaker 1: And I do have a long story because I spoke
- 53:59Speaker 1: to you guys last November about my breakup. How this
- 54:04Speaker 1: guy cheated on me and he was going to Vegas
- 54:08Speaker 1: and told me somebody.
- 54:10Speaker 3: Passed away, but literally he was just with someone else.
- 54:14Speaker 1: And eventually, I decided to take a different route. I
- 54:19Speaker 1: went through therapy, of course, but I got weight loss surgery.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I started going to the gym. Um, I lost already
- 54:28Speaker 1: like 95 pounds. Like I'm a different person. And, uh,
- 54:33Speaker 1: he literally sent me a message the other day and
- 54:37Speaker 1: he's like, oh my God, you look so great. Uh,
- 54:41Speaker 1: would you be down to grab some drinks?
- 54:43Speaker 3: I'm like, hell no. Good for you.
- 54:46Speaker 10: I love that.
- 54:48Speaker 9: And that was probably so satisfying.
- 54:50Speaker 3: Okay. Eric, do you want us to put a hex
- 54:53Speaker 3: on your ex? A what? You want us to put
- 54:56Speaker 3: a hex on your ex.
- 54:58Speaker 1: No, I don't care.
- 54:59Speaker 13: You know, I'm like a better person now.
- 55:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but we want to put a hex on the ex.
- 55:05Speaker 3: What's his name, Eric? What's his name? Michael. Here we go.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Here's a hex on Michael. Take that, Michael. All right, Eric,
- 55:18Speaker 3: thank you for calling in, man. Thanks for listening. Yeah,
- 55:21Speaker 3: thank you, Mike.
- 55:22Speaker 14: Hey, for real though, for real, we're going to have
- 55:25Speaker 14: a real witch on in just a little bit. And
- 55:27Speaker 14: here's what she can do. If your family is cursed
- 55:30Speaker 14: or you're cursed, she can get rid of the curse.
- 55:33Speaker 14: So we want to hear from you about your curse
- 55:37Speaker 14: and then we'll patch you through to talk to her.
- 55:39Speaker 14: I don't know if we're going to get a bunch
- 55:41Speaker 14: of people that are going to have their families cursed,
- 55:43Speaker 14: but we'll just get one.
- 55:44Speaker 3: We'll patch you through and she will get rid of
- 55:45Speaker 3: the curse. So 877-937-1047. Wendy the witch. She's like a,
- 55:50Speaker 3: would you say fifth generation witch? Yeah, yeah. She's been
- 55:53Speaker 3: at it for a long time. It'd be really interesting
- 55:54Speaker 3: to hear how that works. I'm kind of afraid to
- 55:56Speaker 3: talk to her, actually. She might be coming after us.
- 55:58Speaker 14: Hey, I want to get into what you said earlier about,
- 56:00Speaker 14: we were talking about, I mean, the AI conversation is
- 56:03Speaker 14: everywhere about AI getting out of control.
- 56:05Speaker 3: And you said your AI lied to you? For sure.
- 56:07Speaker 18: What?
- 56:08Speaker 3: I caught it in a lie. In fact, I tested
- 56:10Speaker 3: to see if it would lie to me. So here's
- 56:12Speaker 3: the thing. I was writing some music and I would
- 56:15Speaker 3: have AI up because I'm asking about chord structure and
- 56:18Speaker 3: all this stuff. And it said, why don't you upload
- 56:20Speaker 3: what you have for me so far? Because I can
- 56:23Speaker 3: listen to it and tell you what I think of it.
- 56:25Speaker 3: So I uploaded up to ChatGPT. It says I like
- 56:28Speaker 3: the beats. I like this. What if you change this
- 56:31Speaker 3: and this and this? It'll be better. I said, OK.
- 56:33Speaker 3: And I uploaded the exact same files. And it said,
- 56:36Speaker 3: that's a lot better. It sounds way different. I caught
- 56:39Speaker 3: it lying. I didn't change anything. Or does AI just
- 56:41Speaker 3: not want to hurt your feelings? I didn't like the song.
- 56:44Speaker 9: It's protecting you, Richard.
- 56:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. We've been doing this a long time.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Why would you say, oh, yeah, that sounds sonically different.
- 56:53Speaker 3: I did the same exact thing. Totally caught it lying.
- 56:56Speaker 9: Did you call it out?
- 56:57Speaker 3: I did not. I kept it in my pocket.
- 56:59Speaker 9: Because I feel like whenever you call out chat GPT
- 57:01Speaker 9: when they're wrong, you're like, you're absolutely right.
- 57:03Speaker 3: Yeah, my bad.
- 57:04Speaker 10: Yes.
- 57:04Speaker 3: My bad. I totally made you take the wrong medication.
- 57:07Speaker 3: Whatever it's doing. Like, but a total lie. Like, change
- 57:10Speaker 3: this and this. I didn't change anything. Isn't that kind
- 57:12Speaker 3: of wild? So don't trust the AI. We already know
- 57:16Speaker 3: the computers are going to kill us. Are you paying
- 57:17Speaker 3: for the AI for chat GPT? I do pay for
- 57:21Speaker 3: chat GPT.
- 57:21Speaker 12: Okay.
- 57:21Speaker 3: Because I wonder if it was free. It wouldn't. Well,
- 57:23Speaker 3: I don't know what to say, man.
- 57:24Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 57:25Speaker 3: I just keep hearing all these horrible things about it.
- 57:26Speaker 3: I can tell you this. You know how everyone says
- 57:28Speaker 3: when you make an AI video or something, you're wasting
- 57:31Speaker 3: all this water.
- 57:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:33Speaker 3: I found out, and I don't want to get into
- 57:35Speaker 3: the whole thing, but I found out that that's not true.
- 57:37Speaker 3: That the water used in these data centers is recycled
- 57:40Speaker 3: water and they use it. It's like it goes around.
- 57:43Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Like they put the water in. Recycled?
- 57:45Speaker 3: It uses that same water over and over and over again.
- 57:48Speaker 3: it's not taking water from somewhere else that that's all
- 57:51Speaker 3: BS planted by anti. I was talking to a guy
- 57:54Speaker 3: that builds those data centers. Oh yeah. He was telling me,
- 57:56Speaker 3: I'm sure it's like this whole thing where they're saying we,
- 57:59Speaker 3: it's not wasting water at all. It's still there.
- 58:02Speaker 9: Water is, but it takes a lot of water to
- 58:03Speaker 9: build the data centers, right?
- 58:05Speaker 3: That's not the debate. The debate is when you use
- 58:07Speaker 3: it to make a video or something that you're using
- 58:10Speaker 3: all this water and you're not, according to this person
- 58:13Speaker 3: I met that does this for a living.
- 58:15Speaker 18: Keep on chitchatting.
- 58:16Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Oh, hey, Rich's song is up. What did AI think
- 58:20Speaker 3: about this song? We've been waiting on.
- 58:22Speaker 4: This a long time.
- 58:24Speaker 3: Feel this when you know that it's all right. Classic.
- 58:31Speaker 3: So AI said change the chords. Wasn't that soft?
- 58:35Speaker 16: Dorks.
- 58:38Speaker 3: That AI just eliminates itself after that. I don't want
- 58:41Speaker 3: to answer your question anymore. No more music. Only ask
- 58:44Speaker 3: me about food. Where to go eat. That's all I
- 58:45Speaker 3: want to help you with.
- 58:46Speaker 14: Number one movie in the world is Practical Magic 2.
- 58:48Speaker 14: To celebrate, we are going to lift your curse.
- 58:51Speaker 3: 877-937-1047. That is next with The Real Witch.
- 59:02Speaker 9: Coffee in hand, earbuds on John Jay and Rich.
- 59:05Speaker 3: Mornings on 104.7 KISS FM.
- 59:08Speaker 5: I'm dressing for the season I want it to be. Yes, like,
- 59:11Speaker 5: it's still hot outside, but mentally, I am already in fall. Mentally,
- 59:14Speaker 5: I think I'm wearing cute jeans, boots, a jacket. Yeah,
- 59:17Speaker 5: maybe holding a coffee.
- 59:18Speaker 18: Obviously.
- 59:19Speaker 10: But here's my problem.
- 59:20Speaker 18: Every fall, I'm like, okay, what's actually cute now?
- 59:23Speaker 3: Same, I know.
- 59:24Speaker 5: Like, when I see something I like, I know I
- 59:26Speaker 5: like it, but I'm not staying there, like, studying fall
- 59:28Speaker 5: fashion trends.
- 59:29Speaker 18: Exactly. Like, can you just tell me what I'm wearing? Right.
- 59:32Speaker 5: And apparently Macy's kind of understood that assignment because their
- 59:35Speaker 5: best of the season sale is basically all the good
- 59:37Speaker 5: fall stuff already pulled together and brands that like rarely
- 59:40Speaker 5: go on sale are on sale, which I love. Like,
- 59:44Speaker 5: don't make me go hunt through 17 different trends. Show
- 59:46Speaker 5: me the good stuff.
- 59:47Speaker 6: Yes.
- 59:48Speaker 5: And we're talking Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, BCBG, Steve Madden, 30% off.
- 59:55Speaker 5: I'm getting so excited. We have to build an outfit.
- 59:57Speaker 5: I'm starting with jeans, but like what jeans are we
- 59:59Speaker 5: wearing now? Wide leg is still big. There's relaxed denim,
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: barrel jeans, flares, and they've got Levi's.
- 1:00:06Speaker 18: Good American. Wait, those are part of the brands that
- 1:00:08Speaker 18: are 30% off too?
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:00:11Speaker 18: Keep going. What's on top?
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: I think I want one of those jackets that makes
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: a basic outfit look Suddenly like, oh my gosh, she
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: definitely tried on that one. Suede.
- 1:00:20Speaker 18: Okay.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: Suede is it for sure. Jeans, simple top, suede jacket.
- 1:00:26Speaker 18: Cute back.
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: Done.
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: And that's what I like about this sale. So Macy's
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: is like basically gone. Here, these are the brands.
- 1:00:33Speaker 18: These are the trends. Go find your version of it.
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: And some of these brands, they rarely go on sale.
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: So 30% off during the season, you actually want them.
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: And I'm sorry, beauty is 15% off too. MAC, Clinique, Armani. Okay,
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: that's amazing. So we're doing the outfit and the face now.
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: This is how you get me. I walk in wanting
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: jeans and suddenly I'm building an entire fall version of myself.
- 1:00:53Speaker 18: But that's the fun part. It's your fall fashion moment.
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: It's our fall fashion moment, right? And you know, somebody
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: already did the homework for us. Macy's Best of the
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: Season sale is September 17th through 28th, right?
- 1:01:04Speaker 18: Yep, we've got 12 days to find our follow-up.
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: These beautiful things that I've got.
- 1:01:17Speaker 14: Number one movie at the box office is Practical Magic
- 1:01:18Speaker 14: 2 about witches and curses. And we actually have a
- 1:01:22Speaker 14: real witch, a very famous witch, Wendy. Wendy Mata.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: Wendy, good morning.
- 1:01:28Speaker 16: Good morning. Hello, hello.
- 1:01:29Speaker 11: Hello.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: Thank you for jumping on our radio show.
- 1:01:34Speaker 22: Thank you for calling me.
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: This sounds really fun, so it's a pleasure.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Oh, good.
- 1:01:38Speaker 14: Well, we have a couple people that we do want to,
- 1:01:40Speaker 14: because we heard you could break curses and stuff, so
- 1:01:42Speaker 14: we want to get into that. But we also want
- 1:01:43Speaker 14: to talk to you about you being a witch and
- 1:01:45Speaker 14: how did that happen and what gifts do you have
- 1:01:48Speaker 14: by being a witch?
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: Sounds good.
- 1:01:53Speaker 16: Ask along. I'm happy to help.
- 1:01:54Speaker 9: In any way I can.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: First of all, are you a good witch or a
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: bad witch?
- 1:02:00Speaker 16: I think it depends on who asks. I think some
- 1:02:02Speaker 16: people believe that all witches are bad. And some people
- 1:02:05Speaker 16: believe that some witches are good and some witches are bad.
- 1:02:08Speaker 16: I would like to think that I am a good
- 1:02:10Speaker 16: witch because most of my work is.
- 1:02:12Speaker 13: Focused on healing.
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: But it depends on who asks.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Curses are real though, right? You can be cursed.
- 1:02:19Speaker 19: Yes, yes, yes.
- 1:02:20Speaker 16: They are real. Although I believe that a lot of
- 1:02:24Speaker 16: our problems are not necessarily created by a curse. but
- 1:02:28Speaker 16: by our patterns and actions. I don't have the right
- 1:02:31Speaker 16: statistics for this, obviously, but I think that about 85%
- 1:02:35Speaker 16: of the things that are happening to us, they could
- 1:02:37Speaker 16: be systemic or they could be our thinking processes or
- 1:02:40Speaker 16: ways and behaviors and actions. So there's really a very
- 1:02:44Speaker 16: small percentage of situations that can be related to a curse.
- 1:02:48Speaker 16: If anything, I will say that we almost curse ourselves
- 1:02:50Speaker 16: with our mindsets.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: So if you believe you're cursed, you're cursed.
- 1:02:54Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: If you believe you're cursed. Yeah. It's kind of like
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: what they say. People that say, I never get sick,
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: never get sick. Wendy.
- 1:03:03Speaker 16: Yeah, we get sick. I do think that we get sick.
- 1:03:08Speaker 16: We absolutely get sick. So it is a possibility, of course.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Okay, so how long have you been a witch?
- 1:03:15Speaker 16: I have been a witch my entire life. I was
- 1:03:17Speaker 16: born from a family of... witches and healers from Mexico,
- 1:03:21Speaker 16: so I actually don't know how to live life any
- 1:03:24Speaker 16: other way.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: What part of Mexico?
- 1:03:27Speaker 16: I'm from a small town called Reynosa de Maulipas, which
- 1:03:30Speaker 16: is about 20 minutes from the border with McAllen, Texas.
- 1:03:34Speaker 18: Oh, my God.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: We're all in McAllen, Texas. We were just there for
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: the parade last December.
- 1:03:39Speaker 10: The parade of witches.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: Yeah, we were in the parade. Oh, my God.
- 1:03:42Speaker 16: Oh, such a small world.
- 1:03:44Speaker 25: Yeah.
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: Well, so how about this? Then if you're a Mexican witch,
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: you can tell us, is La Llorona real?
- 1:03:51Speaker 16: Yes, absolutely. Yes, I had a, how can I call it?
- 1:03:59Speaker 16: Very creepy, yet very illuminating experience with La Llorona when
- 1:04:03Speaker 16: I was seven years old. in a rancho that I
- 1:04:06Speaker 16: went with my family, and I clearly remember the screams
- 1:04:10Speaker 16: and the crying.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:04:12Speaker 16: I'm feeling this coldness from my inside out. It's the
- 1:04:15Speaker 16: level of coldness that you cannot explain. Oh, absolutely.
- 1:04:18Speaker 17: Absolutely.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Oh, my God. That's terrible. I wish I wouldn't have
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: known that. What about the Chupacabra? Are they real?
- 1:04:23Speaker 16: That one, I don't know. I've never seen the Chupacabra before,
- 1:04:26Speaker 16: but everything is possible in this world, right?
- 1:04:28Speaker 13: Right.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: So we're talking to a real witch, Wendy. And, Wendy,
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: you can reverse a family curse, right?
- 1:04:34Speaker 16: It is possible, absolutely.
- 1:04:36Speaker 14: Okay, well, let's say hi to Sarah. We'll find out
- 1:04:38Speaker 14: what Sarah's situation is. Sarah, you have a curse? You
- 1:04:41Speaker 14: have something going on in your life?
- 1:04:43Speaker 27: I do, yes, and I'd like some help with it.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Tell us a little bit about yourself and see if
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Wendy can help you. Well, let's see.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Good morning, Wendy.
- 1:04:51Speaker 27: I appreciate you talking to me. I actually just lost
- 1:04:54Speaker 27: my sister a month ago, and we were not on
- 1:04:57Speaker 27: good speaking terms, and when I found out she was
- 1:04:59Speaker 27: close to passing, I tried to reach out to her,
- 1:05:02Speaker 27: and she did not respond back, and... Ever since then,
- 1:05:06Speaker 27: my wife has just been liking me super hard and
- 1:05:08Speaker 27: kicking me in the face. And I'm like, you know what?
- 1:05:11Speaker 27: She probably just sent me some bad juju. She probably
- 1:05:13Speaker 27: was like, that's that girl. And when she passed, I
- 1:05:16Speaker 27: think it just kind of carried over.
- 1:05:21Speaker 16: So you believe that you got some bad juju from
- 1:05:24Speaker 16: your sister or just in general?
- 1:05:27Speaker 27: From my sister, I think she was, yeah, she was
- 1:05:29Speaker 27: not happy and she was not happy with me. So
- 1:05:31Speaker 27: I think before she, I think maybe me reaching out
- 1:05:34Speaker 27: to her, she kind of was like, you know, like,
- 1:05:37Speaker 27: what was the point?
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: Makes sense. Some people like want to bless their family
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: before they go to the other side. Your sister just
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: left you one little like, gotcha.
- 1:05:47Speaker 19: Yep.
- 1:05:47Speaker 18: Okay.
- 1:05:48Speaker 23: That's how I feel like, yes.
- 1:05:51Speaker 19: Oh, wow.
- 1:05:52Speaker 16: I'm so sorry that this is a possibility. One of
- 1:05:56Speaker 16: the things that I will recommend is, I don't know
- 1:05:59Speaker 16: if you are familiar with ancestral work, which is the
- 1:06:04Speaker 16: people in our family or that we feel like our
- 1:06:07Speaker 16: family that passed. So those become our ancestors. And sometimes
- 1:06:11Speaker 16: our ancestors can be, yes, sending us some of the
- 1:06:13Speaker 16: love and some of the blessings. And they can also
- 1:06:16Speaker 16: be sending some negativity because they are just detaching from
- 1:06:20Speaker 16: the human experience. So my first recommendation will be to
- 1:06:23Speaker 16: light a white candle to your sister and to release
- 1:06:26Speaker 16: her to whatever you believe in.
- 1:06:28Speaker 13: If you believe in God, release her to God and
- 1:06:30Speaker 13: the heavens.
- 1:06:31Speaker 16: If you believe in nature, release her to nature. If
- 1:06:33Speaker 16: you believe on the earth, release her to the earth.
- 1:06:36Speaker 16: Just kind of like an honoring because when a soul passes,
- 1:06:39Speaker 16: they go through a lot of distress. There's four different
- 1:06:42Speaker 16: phases of of the passing of a soul. So she
- 1:06:46Speaker 16: may still be on a space where she's still recapitulating
- 1:06:49Speaker 16: the human experience, which is when we are trying to
- 1:06:52Speaker 16: figure out if our actions were good or bad for
- 1:06:56Speaker 16: the collective, for our family, and for ourselves. So lighting
- 1:06:59Speaker 16: a candle to her, just kind of guiding her, hey,
- 1:07:02Speaker 16: here's some light so that it helps you with your process.
- 1:07:05Speaker 16: that itself is going to be bringing a lot of balance.
- 1:07:09Speaker 16: My recommendation, of course, is that you pay attention to
- 1:07:11Speaker 16: the fire, that you don't let your candle alone. Safety first,
- 1:07:16Speaker 16: like I tell to my daughter. And the other, the
- 1:07:18Speaker 16: second one, it's depending on the capabilities of your body,
- 1:07:22Speaker 16: because we all have different.
- 1:07:23Speaker 17: Capacities, right?
- 1:07:25Speaker 16: If you are able to get into the ocean safely,
- 1:07:30Speaker 16: If you're able to get into the ocean, ask the
- 1:07:32Speaker 16: water of the ocean to wash away any kind of
- 1:07:35Speaker 16: energetic attachment that you may still be feeling with your sister.
- 1:07:39Speaker 16: Any kind of negativity that she may be sending. And
- 1:07:42Speaker 16: this way, you will be asking the ocean, which is
- 1:07:44Speaker 16: a huge presence through the planet, right? It depends on
- 1:07:47Speaker 16: the ocean, to neutralize whatever may be coming from the situation.
- 1:07:52Speaker 16: That way, you're working with nature. You're not getting in
- 1:07:55Speaker 16: a loop of negativity that she may have done this
- 1:07:58Speaker 16: or that or the other. It's more like an understanding, okay,
- 1:08:01Speaker 16: this soul is struggling, but what can I do to
- 1:08:05Speaker 16: send her some light? And also, what can I do
- 1:08:08Speaker 16: to remove this from my body because I don't want this?
- 1:08:11Speaker 16: And if your body doesn't allow you to get into
- 1:08:12Speaker 16: the ocean right now, then you can work in a lake,
- 1:08:15Speaker 16: in a river, or even in the shower. You can
- 1:08:18Speaker 16: ask the water of the shower to just wash it
- 1:08:20Speaker 16: away and rub some salt in your body. Salt has
- 1:08:25Speaker 16: amazing cleansing properties, so that will be helping you balance
- 1:08:28Speaker 16: your energy.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: Okay, hey, Wendy.
- 1:08:30Speaker 16: Does that make sense?
- 1:08:31Speaker 14: It makes perfect sense to me, and I think, Sarah,
- 1:08:33Speaker 14: that's great advice. Wendy, does that work for everybody? Can
- 1:08:35Speaker 14: everybody do that?
- 1:08:38Speaker 16: Anybody can do that. So this kind of cleansing works
- 1:08:40Speaker 16: for pretty much anything. I will just say enter the
- 1:08:46Speaker 16: body of water we respect, right? We don't want to
- 1:08:48Speaker 16: use the element. We want to collaborate with them. So
- 1:08:51Speaker 16: we want to ask for permission. And honoring our ancestors
- 1:08:55Speaker 16: is always a wonderful practice to reconnect to our own
- 1:08:58Speaker 16: essence and the family.
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: Line.
- 1:09:00Speaker 16: We also need to understand not all ancestors may be great.
- 1:09:04Speaker 16: So we don't have to feel like just because somebody passed,
- 1:09:06Speaker 16: it makes them a wonderful person suddenly.
- 1:09:09Speaker 10: They still have to go through their process.
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: Hey, Wendy.
- 1:09:11Speaker 16: That's right.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: Are you okay on time?
- 1:09:14Speaker 14: We're going to give away some tickets to Disneyland right now,
- 1:09:16Speaker 14: but I still want to talk to you.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: Can you? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:19Speaker 16: I'm here.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Hold on a second, Wendy. We are also
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: looking for color 104. Color 104 tickets to Disneyland. We're
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: looking for color 104. To get free Disney tickets. We're
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: also talking to Wendy Mata, who's a world-famous witch. And
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: there's no shortage of witches in those Disney movies.
- 1:09:45Speaker 10: For sure.
- 1:09:45Speaker 11: Right?
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: What number are you at, Dylan?
- 1:09:49Speaker 18: You're caller 99.
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:09:51Speaker 18: You're caller 100. You're caller 101.
- 1:09:55Speaker 10: You're caller 102.
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: I like how she leans into New York.
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: You're caller 103.
- 1:10:01Speaker 11: Okay. All right.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: Caller 104 is on line 31.
- 1:10:04Speaker 16: Okay.
- 1:10:04Speaker 11: Um.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: We need three magic words from Friday. And if you
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: get these right, you get the tickets to Disneyland. Here
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: we go, you guys. You ready? Yeah. Good morning, John
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: Jane Rich. Hello, who's this?
- 1:10:19Speaker 23: Hello, this is Kika.
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: Kika, you are caller 104.
- 1:10:24Speaker 10: What?
- 1:10:24Speaker 25: No way!
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: Yes, Santa Maria, yes.
- 1:10:31Speaker 23: Woo!
- 1:10:32Speaker 26: Fun, fun, fun.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: Okay, so here's the deal. That's part one. So you
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: made it through. Now, you got to give us three
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: of the magic words that we gave out on Friday.
- 1:10:41Speaker 23: Snowflake, parade, and werewolf.
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: Boom.
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: Yes, Kika.
- 1:10:49Speaker 16: Boom. Woo.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: You got tickets to Dizzy Land.
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: Hell yeah.
- 1:10:56Speaker 16: Woo. Dizzy Land.
- 1:11:00Speaker 11: Woo. Woo.
- 1:11:02Speaker 9: That's going to be a fun trip.
- 1:11:03Speaker 13: Yeah, you're going to have a blast.
- 1:11:05Speaker 16: We're going to Disneyland.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: You're also throwing in a hopper to win the grand prize.
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: Sweet.
- 1:11:15Speaker 23: Fantastic.
- 1:11:16Speaker 9: I love prizes.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: Hold on a second.
- 1:11:18Speaker 23: Hold on.
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: We're going to set you up. Hold on.
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: Hold on.
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: Hold on. Hey, Wendy. Thanks for holding on there.
- 1:11:25Speaker 16: Hi.
- 1:11:25Speaker 17: Thanks.
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: So we got Wendy Mata. She is a world famous witch.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: Her website, by the way. Can we give out your website, Wendy?
- 1:11:32Speaker 8: Absolutely.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: What is it? Bruja.com or something like that?
- 1:11:36Speaker 16: Bruja.us. B-R-U-J-A.us.
- 1:11:40Speaker 14: Hey, can you, just in case, I'm not sure, but
- 1:11:44Speaker 14: maybe if there's a curse on our show, can you
- 1:11:47Speaker 14: get rid of it?
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I think there is. How can you not be sure?
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: How are you not sure that there's a curse on
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: our show? I just didn't want to say that. Have
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: you not lived here for the last couple of years?
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: Maybe you should kind of throw a little... Do I
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: need to go over a list of our curses? Light
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: a candle, stand up, stomp your feet, light a match.
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: We need to do more than get in the ocean.
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: We need like a whole Antarctica re-blessing to reverse the curse.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: Can you do something like that? Or can you put a...
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: Can you put a positive curse on us?
- 1:12:11Speaker 21: Is that.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: There's a such thing?
- 1:12:12Speaker 10: A blessing?
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: A blessing. Why do you think you.
- 1:12:15Speaker 19: Have a curse in your show?
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: Listen to us. You listened to the last hour?
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: Well.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: You know, I don't know. I just kind of sometimes
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: feel that way. There's somebody out to get us. I
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: know that. Yeah, somebody's got a John Jay and Rich
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: voodoo doll they're stabbing. We have them in the other room.
- 1:12:31Speaker 9: Nick's like, oh, sorry about that.
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: Come on, Wendy.
- 1:12:37Speaker 16: Well, as you guys are in the public, and that
- 1:12:40Speaker 16: means that not 100% of the people wishes the right vibes.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: So there is always a possibility.
- 1:12:46Speaker 16: But one of the things that I actually like to
- 1:12:48Speaker 16: do for myself, it's transmutation. So if somebody is sending
- 1:12:52Speaker 16: something negative, whether it's on purpose or by accident. I
- 1:12:57Speaker 16: like to work a lot with fire. So I do
- 1:13:00Speaker 16: a transmutation spell so that whatever it is that is
- 1:13:03Speaker 16: coming my way, it transmutes to specific energies. So you
- 1:13:07Speaker 16: guys that have access to so many energies because you
- 1:13:10Speaker 16: work with so much people, you could do something like that.
- 1:13:13Speaker 16: You could bring whatever energy is and you can decide
- 1:13:15Speaker 16: what you want to do.
- 1:13:16Speaker 8: If you want.
- 1:13:17Speaker 16: a bigger, broader audience, you can transmute it into that.
- 1:13:21Speaker 16: If you want joy, you can transmit it into that.
- 1:13:24Speaker 16: If you want, whatever reason you want to create love
- 1:13:26Speaker 16: or serving the word in a different way, that energy
- 1:13:30Speaker 16: that is being sent your way can always be used
- 1:13:32Speaker 16: for something else.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: So you can take the curse and change it and
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: make it positive. Do you ever make it to Phoenix?
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: I think it'd be great to have you in our
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: studio sometime.
- 1:13:40Speaker 10: I would love that.
- 1:13:41Speaker 16: I have actually been in Phoenix a couple of times.
- 1:13:43Speaker 16: One of the companies that I used to work for
- 1:13:44Speaker 16: had a supplier in Phoenix, and I used to go
- 1:13:46Speaker 16: to Phoenix for that.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: Do you have another job besides being a witch?
- 1:13:51Speaker 16: No, but I was in cybersecurity and digital forensics for
- 1:13:53Speaker 16: 20 years before I retired.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: And a witch? Holy shit. That's too much power. That's
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: too much power for one person.
- 1:14:03Speaker 16: That means that you can use your magic to get
- 1:14:04Speaker 16: a really good job.
- 1:14:06Speaker 11: Yes.
- 1:14:07Speaker 14: Well, anyway, Wendy, we're really grateful you jumped on there
- 1:14:09Speaker 14: with us. You know, you are a happy good witch.
- 1:14:11Speaker 14: I can tell you're a good witch. You're good people.
- 1:14:15Speaker 13: Thank you.
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: You're my favorite bruja.
- 1:14:18Speaker 16: How many do you know?
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: Well, just you.
- 1:14:22Speaker 10: Oh, you're my best friend.
- 1:14:23Speaker 16: How many friends do you have?
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: My tia, my tia Malou, she used to, when I
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: remember I'd go knock on the bathroom door and she'd
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: be in the bathroom. We only had one bathroom when
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: I was a kid and she'd stay over and I'd
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: knock on the door and she would do a witch's
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: cackle and scare the hell out of me. Do you
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: do a witch's cackle, Wendy?
- 1:14:41Speaker 23: Of course.
- 1:14:41Speaker 13: Oh, well, we got to hear that.
- 1:14:45Speaker 22: Well, I think my laughter is a cackle.
- 1:14:48Speaker 16: I think a lot of witches that are living a
- 1:14:49Speaker 16: really good life, they have the cackle because we are
- 1:14:51Speaker 16: very free people. We live life in our terms as
- 1:14:55Speaker 16: much as we can. And that itself brings us a
- 1:14:59Speaker 16: lot of joy and a lot of freedom.
- 1:15:00Speaker 13: So I think every witch that.
- 1:15:01Speaker 16: Is laughing, that has a good life, has a cackle.
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: Good. Well, thank you, Wendy. We hope to have you
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: back on our show sometime. Thank you so much for
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: taking the time out.
- 1:15:10Speaker 16: Thank you. Have a wonderful day.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: You too. See, that's all.
- 1:15:13Speaker 12: I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: That's not a good witch. That's a scary witch. It's
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: a great laugh, though.
- 1:15:20Speaker 10: Justice for Elphaba.
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: Wendy's a great witch. A happy witch. I feel good
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: talking to Wendy. Yeah, man. She lifted the curse. Watch
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: good things happen now. Yeah. Give up.
- 1:15:30Speaker 10: Give up.
- 1:15:31Speaker 19: Give up.
- 1:15:32Speaker 18: This is John.
- 1:15:33Speaker 13: Jay and Rich.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: Let's get some entertainment news. Compay, what do you guys got?
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: What's trending?
- 1:15:37Speaker 12: It was revealed this morning that Hayden Panettiere reportedly died
- 1:15:40Speaker 12: after accidentally taking a single oxycodone pill laced with fentanyl.
- 1:15:45Speaker 12: So what they think happened is that she met up
- 1:15:47Speaker 12: with her longtime drug dealer in L.A. right before she
- 1:15:49Speaker 12: flew out to South Carolina where she passed away on
- 1:15:52Speaker 12: August 16th. So the DEA, they're actively already investigating the
- 1:15:55Speaker 12: dealer supply chain linked to this overdose.
- 1:15:59Speaker 10: But get this.
- 1:15:59Speaker 12: So over the weekend, police in South Carolina, they responded
- 1:16:03Speaker 12: to a bar fight involving Brian Hickerson, which is Hayden's ex-boyfriend,
- 1:16:07Speaker 12: and his brother, Zach. So apparently this bar fight broke
- 1:16:11Speaker 12: out because people around the bars were, you know, basically
- 1:16:14Speaker 12: badgering them about Hayden's passing because online there's a lot
- 1:16:18Speaker 12: of eyes on Brian if he had something to do
- 1:16:20Speaker 12: with it or anything in that sort. So this whole
- 1:16:23Speaker 12: bar fight breaks out. Brian gets handcuffed, yelling at the police,
- 1:16:27Speaker 12: saying that they didn't handle his girlfriend's death correctly. He
- 1:16:30Speaker 12: got released, but his brother, Zach, did get booked and
- 1:16:33Speaker 12: charged for disorderly conduct because he was yelling profanities at
- 1:16:36Speaker 12: the crowd.
- 1:16:37Speaker 13: So.
- 1:16:38Speaker 10: To me, I'm like, OK, this is so wild.
- 1:16:41Speaker 11: Right.
- 1:16:41Speaker 10: All of this is happening over the weekend.
- 1:16:43Speaker 12: First thing Monday morning, we find out that this was
- 1:16:45Speaker 12: an accidental overdose with fentanyl. And I'm like, does Brian
- 1:16:48Speaker 12: feel like maybe he is getting cornered in on?
- 1:16:51Speaker 10: I don't I don't know. But unfortunate. The whole thing
- 1:16:54Speaker 10: is super unfortunate.
- 1:16:55Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:16:56Speaker 9: I mean, I I think like he hasn't really been
- 1:16:59Speaker 9: a good dude. And people are like they're trying to
- 1:17:02Speaker 9: protect Hayden after her passing, I think. And it's not right, really,
- 1:17:05Speaker 9: on any level.
- 1:17:06Speaker 18: On any level.
- 1:17:08Speaker 9: Drake has something really big coming out tomorrow. We're finally
- 1:17:10Speaker 9: getting a little tiny idea of what it actually is.
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: So he dropped a teaser. It's like a trailer for
- 1:17:16Speaker 9: a new film called FOMO, which he describes as a
- 1:17:20Speaker 9: not so short film.
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: What if I told you there were two versions of
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: your life? In one, you avoid risk and withhold love.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: You feel like you've gone missing from yourself. You look
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: for something you can't find. In the other version of
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: your life, you find it.
- 1:17:37Speaker 9: So you hear that all while Drake is just on
- 1:17:39Speaker 9: a speedboat.
- 1:17:40Speaker 18: It's cryptic.
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: It's very Drake. We'll find out whatever it is tomorrow.
- 1:17:43Speaker 10: Lady Gaga, she is officially a mom.
- 1:17:46Speaker 12: I know I'm so happy for her because I know
- 1:17:48Speaker 12: there was a couple of interviews where she was like,
- 1:17:50Speaker 12: I want my next role to be the mom role.
- 1:17:52Speaker 12: So her and her fiance, Michael, they welcomed their first
- 1:17:55Speaker 12: baby together and they broke the news, not by like
- 1:17:57Speaker 12: posting it on Instagram or anything like that. They were
- 1:17:59Speaker 12: just taking like a stroll through Northern California and they
- 1:18:02Speaker 12: got picked up by paparazzi.
- 1:18:03Speaker 10: And everyone's like, wait a minute.
- 1:18:04Speaker 9: She's only a baby?
- 1:18:05Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:18:06Speaker 10: They're like, what?
- 1:18:07Speaker 9: Mother is now actually mother.
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: Was it a surrogate? Was she ever pregnant? Did we
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: see pictures of her?
- 1:18:13Speaker 12: I don't believe that we ever saw pictures of her pregnant.
- 1:18:16Speaker 12: But she, I mean, we don't know any details.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: Let's just say she was pregnant for nine months. That
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: just goes to show you that if you're a celebrity,
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: you can go away.
- 1:18:23Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: Yeah. That's true.
- 1:18:25Speaker 9: If you want to. They definitely use things. Gwyneth Paltrow,
- 1:18:27Speaker 9: she's not going away, but do you guys remember when
- 1:18:30Speaker 9: she told the Today Show you could use arugula as
- 1:18:32Speaker 9: a substitute for dairy? And everyone was like, Gwyneth, you
- 1:18:35Speaker 9: have officially lost your mind. Now she's like, can I
- 1:18:38Speaker 9: please just clear that up? So here's the throwback of
- 1:18:40Speaker 9: her saying that and her response to it now.
- 1:18:43Speaker 10: You want to avoid dairy.
- 1:18:44Speaker 24: One trick that I do is um i i dice
- 1:18:48Speaker 24: up arugula and i put it in really it sounds
- 1:18:51Speaker 24: weird but it kind of adds like a nice texture
- 1:18:54Speaker 24: to it and you know what i said Dairy.
- 1:18:56Speaker 25: Instead of Parmesan cheese.
- 1:18:57Speaker 21: So this was my mistake.
- 1:18:59Speaker 25: What I meant to say is, and this is a
- 1:19:01Speaker 25: great trick if you're dairy free, if you're making meatballs
- 1:19:03Speaker 25: and you don't want to put Parmesan cheese in them,
- 1:19:05Speaker 25: you dice up arugula and put it in. It gives
- 1:19:07Speaker 25: it this extra dimension of flavor.
- 1:19:09Speaker 5: I don't know why I said dairy.
- 1:19:11Speaker 25: But I said dairy and the internet collapsed.
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: She just misspoke.
- 1:19:15Speaker 18: That's all it was.
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: Well, that makes sense. Putting a wiggle on a meatball. Yeah,
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: that I get.
- 1:19:18Speaker 18: Now we get it.
- 1:19:19Speaker 9: Harry Styles had a really beautiful moment during his Madison
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: Square Garden show. This happened Friday night. He stopped the
- 1:19:25Speaker 9: concert to recognize the 25th anniversary of 9-11.
- 1:19:28Speaker 18: I want us to just.
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: Take a moment together to think about the incredible resilience
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: of this city and America.
- 1:19:38Speaker 23: I want us to just take a second to think
- 1:19:41Speaker 23: about the events that not only shaped this city, but
- 1:19:45Speaker 23: shaped the century that we live in.
- 1:19:47Speaker 9: That was really cool that he stopped down to do that.
- 1:19:50Speaker 9: And tomorrow is the big day, the pre-sale. for his
- 1:19:54Speaker 9: State Farm Stadium's April 2nd, April 3rd show with Tinashe
- 1:19:58Speaker 9: go on sale. And everyone's like, okay, wait a second.
- 1:20:01Speaker 9: Because Harry said, Harry said that he was going to
- 1:20:05Speaker 9: do that unpredictable fun ticket thing where he's going to
- 1:20:07Speaker 9: drop $ 20 tickets to his shows for this tour just randomly.
- 1:20:11Speaker 9: And the problem is he needs it to be unpredictable
- 1:20:14Speaker 9: because that's what they're called. So we don't know how
- 1:20:16Speaker 9: you get them. We don't know when those are dropping
- 1:20:19Speaker 9: or where those seats will be or anything like that.
- 1:20:21Speaker 6: But.
- 1:20:22Speaker 9: Details on that obviously would be dropping whenever they drop.
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: We have free ones.
- 1:20:27Speaker 9: That's right.
- 1:20:27Speaker 14: We have free Harry Styles tickets. In fact, we'll do
- 1:20:30Speaker 14: it next. In fact, we're doing it every single day
- 1:20:31Speaker 14: this week. Free Harry Styles tickets. Free Harry Styles tickets. Uh,
- 1:20:37Speaker 14: he's coming to State Farm Stadium in April next year
- 1:20:39Speaker 14: and we're going to play a game.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: So we do need to contest it at 877-937-1047. Before
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: we do that though, um, We're talking about witches, right?
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: And curses because of Practical Magic 2 being number one
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: at the box office. And then this is just so
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: perfect for our radio show. There was a commercial that
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: ran on our show of Kyle and Peyton and something
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: happened to your voices, right?
- 1:21:01Speaker 9: Yeah, we do not know.
- 1:21:03Speaker 14: So somebody would just text us. They're driving and they're
- 1:21:06Speaker 14: listening to it. And the guy's commentary, listening to your
- 1:21:09Speaker 14: distorted commercial.
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: Talking about witches.
- 1:21:12Speaker 18: Listen to you guys. Wow, that's a long commercial for
- 1:21:15Speaker 18: you guys. Sounding super distorted.
- 1:21:33Speaker 9: I think the witches just really wanted you guys to
- 1:21:35Speaker 9: know about Macy's sale.
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: That's the curse. That's the curse I was talking about.
- 1:21:39Speaker 14: Anyway, we got Harry Styles tickets after Harry Styles at
- 1:21:43Speaker 14: John J.
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: Rich on Kiss. I get such a kick out of
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: paparazzi photos. I don't know if you guys have seen these.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: They're everywhere. And it's Harry Styles just walking to the stadium.
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: Like in shorts, listening to headphones. You know, the people say,
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: and by the people, I mean Andre and your classmates
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: that go to school right there. They think he's got
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: a place in Soho now. They're pretty sure. But they're like,
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: we got to be cool. We can't even say hi
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: to him. We see him. Because it's New York. You
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: don't acknowledge. Alice, good morning.
- 1:22:18Speaker 23: Good morning, Howards, everyone.
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: You are our contestant. You're playing for Harry Styles tickets.
- 1:22:24Speaker 10: Yay.
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:22:26Speaker 18: Love it.
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: What are we playing, Peyton?
- 1:22:27Speaker 10: Okay, this is a new game. It's called Lyrically Speaking.
- 1:22:30Speaker 10: So basically, I'm going to give you guys a question
- 1:22:32Speaker 10: based on.
- 1:22:32Speaker 12: An iconic song lyric. You just have to finish the
- 1:22:35Speaker 12: phrase or give me the missing answer, and then you
- 1:22:37Speaker 12: get a point.
- 1:22:37Speaker 21: Okay.
- 1:22:38Speaker 10: So, John Jay, we're going to start with you.
- 1:22:40Speaker 12: What time was it when Usher was in the drop
- 1:22:42Speaker 12: top cruising the streets?
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: God.
- 1:22:44Speaker 11: God.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: It's six o'clock in the drop top.
- 1:22:47Speaker 10: Incorrect. I'm looking for seven o'clock.
- 1:22:49Speaker 9: Seven o'clock.
- 1:22:51Speaker 10: I'm in my drop top.
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: Oh, this is going to be hard.
- 1:22:54Speaker 12: Yes, that's okay though, John J. But thank you for
- 1:22:57Speaker 12: helping us catch a vibe of what this game is.
- 1:22:59Speaker 12: Seems like Kyle might take it away.
- 1:23:00Speaker 10: But Rich, here's your question. How many problems does Jay-Z have?
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: He's got 99. Yep, definitely. But he doesn't have one
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: of them.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: For sure.
- 1:23:08Speaker 10: 99 was what I was looking for. Good job, Rich.
- 1:23:10Speaker 11: One point.
- 1:23:10Speaker 10: Kyle, according to Miley Cyrus, what did she come in like?
- 1:23:16Speaker 10: A wrecking ball. Yes, good job, Kyle. I appreciate you singing.
- 1:23:20Speaker 18: Thank you.
- 1:23:22Speaker 10: And adding some energy to this game. Okay, Alice, your question.
- 1:23:27Speaker 10: According to Beyonce, what should you have put on it
- 1:23:30Speaker 10: if you liked it?
- 1:23:31Speaker 23: The ring.
- 1:23:33Speaker 10: Yes, good job.
- 1:23:35Speaker 12: Okay, John Jay, you do have a chance to redeem
- 1:23:36Speaker 12: yourself in round two. According to Fergie, what were the
- 1:23:41Speaker 12: boys doing up in the gym?
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: Oh, God. I'm getting all her songs confused. What the
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: boys were doing in the gym when she had a mustache. No.
- 1:23:56Speaker 10: The boys were up in the gym working on my fitness.
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: Working on their fitness.
- 1:23:59Speaker 17: Yes.
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: He's my weakness.
- 1:24:01Speaker 10: Yep, yep, you got it. It's okay, Joe John Jay.
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: She had a mustache. What was that like? I don't know.
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: What are you thinking of? I don't know.
- 1:24:07Speaker 9: Fergie said she had a mustache?
- 1:24:09Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:24:09Speaker 8: When?
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: She had a mustache. What song is that? What song
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: is that? The song you're singing right now.
- 1:24:14Speaker 10: Fergalicious?
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: Yeah, Fergalicious. Yeah, Nick knows. What? I think you're thinking,
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: I'm in first class. Up in the sky.
- 1:24:22Speaker 26: Oh, that's it.
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: I'm in first class. No, there's a line. They go,
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: I had a mustache.
- 1:24:29Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 1:24:30Speaker 18: I don't know.
- 1:24:31Speaker 10: Unfortunately, though, you didn't get a point in this, Patty.
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: I think she took care of that mustache. That might be.
- 1:24:36Speaker 18: Okay, Rich.
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:24:39Speaker 10: According to Nellie, what was it getting in here?
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: It's getting hot.
- 1:24:43Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 1:24:43Speaker 11: In here.
- 1:24:44Speaker 18: Getting super hot in here.
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: In her.
- 1:24:45Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:24:45Speaker 18: Good job.
- 1:24:46Speaker 10: Kyle, according to Rihanna, where did she find love?
- 1:24:50Speaker 9: In a hopeless place.
- 1:24:51Speaker 18: Yes.
- 1:24:52Speaker 11: Kyle.
- 1:24:52Speaker 9: In a very hopeless place.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: Two points.
- 1:24:54Speaker 13: Alice.
- 1:24:55Speaker 11: Alice.
- 1:24:56Speaker 10: If you want to be the Spice Girls lover, who
- 1:24:58Speaker 10: do you have to get with?
- 1:25:02Speaker 8: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:25:02Speaker 16: Spice Girl lover?
- 1:25:07Speaker 22: Oh, gosh.
- 1:25:08Speaker 12: If you want to be the Spice Girls lover, who
- 1:25:11Speaker 12: do you have to get with?
- 1:25:12Speaker 23: Phone a friend.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: Phone a friend.
- 1:25:17Speaker 10: Let us help you.
- 1:25:18Speaker 22: Phone a friend. Can I phone a friend?
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: You gotta get with her friends.
- 1:25:22Speaker 10: Yes, with her friends.
- 1:25:24Speaker 9: Phoned a friend.
- 1:25:25Speaker 10: Alice, two points. All tied up. John Jay, this is
- 1:25:27Speaker 10: your last chance to get on the board, okay? I
- 1:25:28Speaker 10: need you to lock in.
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: Okay, first of all, if anybody knows that pergolicious line
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: that I'm talking about where she says she had a mustache,
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: I will give you Kanye tickets. So let me know.
- 1:25:38Speaker 10: That is my stakes right there.
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: I had a mustache, first class. Anyway, go ahead.
- 1:25:45Speaker 10: John Jay, according to Kesha, when does the party.
- 1:25:49Speaker 21: Start The party don't.
- 1:26:01Speaker 12: Start until I walk in. Richard, according to Lady Gaga,
- 1:26:05Speaker 12: what kind of face is she not letting us see?
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: She's not letting us see the poker face.
- 1:26:09Speaker 10: Yeah, good job.
- 1:26:09Speaker 8: Kyle?
- 1:26:10Speaker 9: I have an answer to John Jay's question.
- 1:26:12Speaker 10: Does she get Kanye?
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: You do? You have the answer?
- 1:26:15Speaker 19: Do I get Kanye?
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: You know what song I'm talking about?
- 1:26:17Speaker 9: Yeah, it's actually a misheard lyric. Because she says, I'm
- 1:26:21Speaker 9: the F to the E to the R to the
- 1:26:24Speaker 9: G to the I-C. Can't no other lady put it
- 1:26:26Speaker 9: down like me. And people sometimes mishear I'm the F
- 1:26:29Speaker 9: to the E-R-G as something sounding like I'm the girl
- 1:26:32Speaker 9: with the mustache. Or I'm a girl with a mustache.
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: That's actually not the part, believe it or not.
- 1:26:37Speaker 18: Okay.
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: There's another part where she talks about her mustache.
- 1:26:39Speaker 9: No Kanye tickets for me.
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: No.
- 1:26:40Speaker 9: But we are still competing for Harry Styles tickets.
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:26:45Speaker 5: I think what you're thinking of is sipping reminiscent on.
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: Days when I had a mustache. The actual lyric is
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: sipping reminiscent on days when I had a Mustang.
- 1:26:54Speaker 10: Yeah, on days when I had a Mustang.
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: Oh, that would make sense. That's it. Mustang.
- 1:27:00Speaker 9: Mustang. Mustang.
- 1:27:02Speaker 10: Way to work it out, guys. Way to go. Way
- 1:27:05Speaker 10: to work it out.
- 1:27:07Speaker 9: Okay, sorry.
- 1:27:07Speaker 18: I'm ready.
- 1:27:08Speaker 10: Back on track, Kyle. What does Taylor Swift say that
- 1:27:11Speaker 10: the players are going to do?
- 1:27:13Speaker 18: The play is going to play, play, play, play, play.
- 1:27:16Speaker 25: Yes.
- 1:27:16Speaker 10: Good job, Kyle. Okay, Alice, are you locked in with us?
- 1:27:20Speaker 10: Are you ready?
- 1:27:21Speaker 13: Yes.
- 1:27:22Speaker 10: Okay, because this is where all the marbles. If you
- 1:27:24Speaker 10: get this right, then you get to go see Harry Styles.
- 1:27:29Speaker 8: Got it.
- 1:27:30Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:27:31Speaker 12: According to TLC, what kind of guy can't get any
- 1:27:35Speaker 12: love from them?
- 1:27:36Speaker 16: What kind of guy can't get any love from them?
- 1:27:44Speaker 8: I think.
- 1:27:47Speaker 19: What's the name of the song?
- 1:27:56Speaker 10: According to TLC, what kind of guy.
- 1:28:00Speaker 9: They don't want no.
- 1:28:01Speaker 10: They don't want no kind of.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: Player? No kind of player?
- 1:28:07Speaker 13: No.
- 1:28:08Speaker 18: Phone a friend.
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: Yeah, phone a friend.
- 1:28:10Speaker 13: Phone a friend.
- 1:28:10Speaker 8: Phone a friend.
- 1:28:11Speaker 16: I don't know that one.
- 1:28:12Speaker 9: I'll help you.
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: I'll help you.
- 1:28:14Speaker 10: Kyle's buzzing in.
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: You ready?
- 1:28:18Speaker 9: It's a scrub.
- 1:28:18Speaker 13: Yes.
- 1:28:19Speaker 9: A scrub can't get no love from me.
- 1:28:21Speaker 17: A scrub.
- 1:28:22Speaker 13: I do know that one.
- 1:28:23Speaker 10: Yes.
- 1:28:24Speaker 7: I know because you think of it.
- 1:28:26Speaker 23: Oh, my God.
- 1:28:28Speaker 10: That's okay, though, Alice. You were a drooper. Rich, though,
- 1:28:31Speaker 10: was the winner of Lyrically Speaking today.
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: Which makes sense. I speak in song lyrics pretty much
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: all the time.
- 1:28:36Speaker 18: That's your thing.
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: But you get the Harry Styles ticket, Alice.
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: Congratulations.
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: Congratulations.
- 1:28:41Speaker 22: Thank you so much.
- 1:28:42Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: All right, hold on the line. We're going to do
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: it again tomorrow. Miranda, what's up? You're on the air.
- 1:28:47Speaker 11: Hi.
- 1:28:49Speaker 13: Hey, I actually messaged you on Instagram before you offered
- 1:28:52Speaker 13: Kanye tickets, but that song that.
- 1:28:54Speaker 15: You were thinking of, it's actually reminiscent on things when I.
- 1:28:58Speaker 23: Had a Mustang.
- 1:29:00Speaker 13: And the song is Glamorous by Fergie.
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: It's glamorous, you guys. Not Fergalicious. Oh, hold on a second.
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: Did we have anyone pull it? I got to hear it.
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: I swear it sounds like mustache. Did you always think
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: that too? Or did you look it up or something, Miranda?
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: How'd you know?
- 1:29:19Speaker 16: No, when I.
- 1:29:20Speaker 13: Was little, I mean, me and my mom used to
- 1:29:22Speaker 13: listen to that album like every single day on the
- 1:29:25Speaker 13: way to school. So I've just... I have all of
- 1:29:28Speaker 13: those songs pretty much memorized.
- 1:29:30Speaker 3: Here it is. I found it.
- 1:29:31Speaker 4: Are you ready?
- 1:29:33Speaker 18: Such a good song.
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: Well, Miranda, you want the Kanye tickets? You don't have
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: to have them if you don't want them. Yes, I
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: love Kanye.
- 1:29:40Speaker 22: I immediately called when I heard you say that.
- 1:29:44Speaker 26: We're flying first class up in the sky Popping champagne,
- 1:29:52Speaker 26: living my life in the fast lane I want to
- 1:30:11Speaker 26: change by the glamorous.
- 1:30:13Speaker 10: Ooh, the flowers, the flowers. The glamorous.
- 1:30:17Speaker 26: The glamorous, glamorous by the glamorous.
- 1:30:21Speaker 16: Ooh, the flowers, the flowers.
- 1:30:25Speaker 26: The glamorous, glamorous by the glamorous.
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: Ooh, the flowers, the flowers.
- 1:30:29Speaker 10: Well, I'm golden diamond rings. All them things don't mean
- 1:30:33Speaker 10: a thing.
- 1:30:34Speaker 3: It's coming up here.
- 1:30:35Speaker 10: The moustache.
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: All that.
- 1:31:02Speaker 10: This album just turned 20 years old. Furby literally posted
- 1:31:05Speaker 10: on Instagram.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: Are you kidding me? Yes, and it was like, I
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: was like, London.
- 1:31:08Speaker 10: Bridge, Fergalicious, Glamorous. Such a good album. Such a good album.
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: I don't know, man. London Bridge is still.
- 1:31:13Speaker 18: I know.
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: Still.
- 1:31:14Speaker 10: It goes hard.
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: If you hear that out and about, you're like, okay. Miranda,
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: thank you for calling in and letting me know what
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: that is. It was bothering me. So we'll set you
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: up with Kanye.
- 1:31:21Speaker 13: You're welcome.
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: I feel like we would have never been able to
- 1:31:24Speaker 3: move forward unless you figured that out. I was looking
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: for it, but I was on Fergalicious. Kyle, what do
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: we need to know today?
- 1:31:34Speaker 12: All right.
- 1:31:35Speaker 9: I think when the guy running one of the biggest
- 1:31:38Speaker 9: AI companies is saying, maybe we're moving a little too fast.
- 1:31:42Speaker 9: I kind of feel like we should probably listen to
- 1:31:44Speaker 9: that guy. So Anthropic CEO Dario Amadei says AI development
- 1:31:49Speaker 9: needs to slow down because the technology is advancing way
- 1:31:53Speaker 9: faster than our ability to control the risks. including cyber attacks, bioterrorism,
- 1:31:58Speaker 9: a major job at economic disruption. He's even warning that
- 1:32:02Speaker 9: sufficiently powerful AI could potentially cause hundreds of billions of
- 1:32:07Speaker 9: dollars in internet damage in a matter of months. So
- 1:32:10Speaker 9: maybe let's just take his advice and just slow it down.
- 1:32:16Speaker 9: Didn't he quit too? It's going to take companies to
- 1:32:18Speaker 9: just take that initiative on their own. We can't wait
- 1:32:21Speaker 9: for government regulation. And yeah, he was like, I'm out
- 1:32:24Speaker 9: of here. If you have an iPhone, get ready for
- 1:32:26Speaker 9: that little red update notification because iOS 27 drops today
- 1:32:31Speaker 9: with some tricks that you may actually use. Siri is
- 1:32:35Speaker 9: getting a major AI upgrade. Your phone is going to
- 1:32:38Speaker 9: help split a restaurant bill. You can just scan the
- 1:32:40Speaker 9: receipt and it'll do it for you.
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: Oh, that's fun.
- 1:32:42Speaker 9: Safari will alert you when web pages change. And this
- 1:32:47Speaker 9: is an Android feature. It's been for a while, but
- 1:32:48Speaker 9: apparently you guys haven't had this. Finally, you will get
- 1:32:51Speaker 9: separate volume controls for alarms and ringtones. So enjoy that.
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: You know what else? Remember how you were talking about
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: that new phone, the Duo? The Duo?
- 1:32:59Speaker 9: It's a foldable phone that iPhone dropped.
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: The Dua Lipa? Yeah, it's like bad for left-handed people. Oh, really?
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: Because it's like everything's right. That makes sense.
- 1:33:08Speaker 10: I wonder if you could flip it.
- 1:33:09Speaker 12: I actually was just looking online because I think I
- 1:33:12Speaker 12: want to get the Duo.
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:33:13Speaker 10: Yeah, I just want to see what's up. And if
- 1:33:15Speaker 10: I don't like it, I can just go get it.
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: I hope you're not left-handed.
- 1:33:17Speaker 16: No, I'm not.
- 1:33:18Speaker 9: They do also say it's harder if you have smaller
- 1:33:20Speaker 9: hands because it is pretty thick. So they... They say it's, yeah,
- 1:33:24Speaker 9: it's just hard to do things one-handed. Like if you
- 1:33:26Speaker 9: text one-handed or if you're using your phone one-handed and
- 1:33:29Speaker 9: you have a smaller hand, it will be a little
- 1:33:30Speaker 9: bit more difficult for you to navigate.
- 1:33:32Speaker 18: Just a heads up.
- 1:33:34Speaker 9: ASU lost to No. 10 Texas A & M, 48-20,
- 1:33:38Speaker 9: which sounds really bad, but if you were watching the game,
- 1:33:40Speaker 9: it was really close until the fourth quarter. ASU is
- 1:33:43Speaker 9: now 1-1. They had to London this weekend to play
- 1:33:45Speaker 9: Kansas at Wembley Stadium, which should be pretty cool. Meanwhile,
- 1:33:49Speaker 9: the other Texas team, Texas Longhorns, had an unbelievable comeback
- 1:33:53Speaker 9: to beat No. 1 Ohio State. It was so insane
- 1:33:56Speaker 9: that their coach.
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: who, by the way.
- 1:33:58Speaker 9: Is like required to do interviews like before and after
- 1:34:00Speaker 9: the game and stuff like that, was approached to get
- 1:34:03Speaker 9: an interview.
- 1:34:04Speaker 10: And this moment is now.
- 1:34:05Speaker 9: Going viral because I think he was just so excited.
- 1:34:08Speaker 9: He didn't want to participate. So you can hear him
- 1:34:11Speaker 9: like basically saying Texas fight. That's called Texas fight.
- 1:34:15Speaker 18: Hook him.
- 1:34:15Speaker 9: And that was the whole interview.
- 1:34:24Speaker 12: I mean, they barely escaped that game.
- 1:34:28Speaker 10: And Holly Roe was not happy.
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: No, she was not happy.
- 1:34:31Speaker 12: She rolls her eyes at him, walks away. Actually, she
- 1:34:35Speaker 12: stomped away. In my opinion, I was like, it was loud, though,
- 1:34:38Speaker 12: in there. Like, it was probably hard to hear her anyway.
- 1:34:41Speaker 9: And he was so excited.
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: Holly Roe wrote me one time a mean DM.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 1:34:46Speaker 12: She is very, very spicy, but she is very loved
- 1:34:49Speaker 12: in the WNBA community.
- 1:34:53Speaker 9: Meanwhile, our Cardinals played. They won. They looked so good.
- 1:34:57Speaker 9: We were like, wow, we're going to have a great
- 1:34:59Speaker 9: team this year. They beat the Chargers 26-14. And our rookie,
- 1:35:03Speaker 9: Jeremiah Love, scored on just his third NFL carry, which
- 1:35:06Speaker 9: is awesome. And we mentioned this earlier, but Mike LaFleur
- 1:35:10Speaker 9: became the first Cardinals coach to win his debut since 1973,
- 1:35:15Speaker 9: which is pretty awesome. Meanwhile, our Diamondbacks, it's not a
- 1:35:17Speaker 9: great time to be joking. We're not doing great. We
- 1:35:20Speaker 9: lost again, which means, and then like, we're behind the
- 1:35:23Speaker 9: Padres for this run. We're trying to get into the
- 1:35:26Speaker 9: playoffs and we're like neck and neck with the Padres,
- 1:35:28Speaker 9: but the Padres keep winning. So now we're two and
- 1:35:30Speaker 9: a half games behind them, which isn't the end of
- 1:35:32Speaker 9: the world, but there's only like 12 games left. So
- 1:35:35Speaker 9: every loss really hurts. So we really just need to
- 1:35:37Speaker 9: cheer on our D-backs and that's what you need to know.
