  It is Monday afternoon, so of course that means that it is time to do a quick run through of all the exciting things that are happening in this county.

  This week I wanted to start by saying, now that the weather is getting pretty nice, did you know that there are multiple opportunities for you to work out with a group?

  I feel like this is important.

  It's the spring.

  Let's do it On Saturdays at 8:00 AM there is a run club that has just begun at awaken.

  Coffee company and all are welcome, all paces.

  Go on out there Saturday at 8:00 AM and then ongoing and uh, kind of like a Camden staple is that the Camden Run and Chug Club has been meeting at Thursday night at six 30 at the We Pub for as long as I can remember.

  Um, and so you can run a 5K there every week with a group on Thursday nights.

  They also do something on Mondays, but I think I saw that it was paused, uh, just for a little bit.

  So maybe they're back.

  Check the Camden Run and Chug group on Facebook.

  And then if you've been training a little bit, and you wanna get out there and see which wheels have on May 2nd.

  Um, at the Firefly, they're doing a Cinco de Mayo 5K that raises money for a local gymnastics studio.

  And on April 11th.

  Special Steps is putting on their annual 5K.

  Um, you can sign up for both of those.

  And that is happening May 3rd, they've got sprints, uh, that, well, what do they have?

  A sprint, an Olympic duathlon, relays, kind of like however you wanna participate in multisport that's available for you.

  Now that I have gotten that out of the way, it's time to talk about this week in particular.

  There is not much going on on Monday and Tuesday.

  Gonna be honest, I think this Easter week, this spring break week, everything is really loaded in the back end, so you gotta hold on tight because on Wednesday, um, from eight 30 to nine 30, we have coffee and commerce over at Huey Magoo.

  That's with the Chamber of Commerce, but everyone is welcome.

  Uh, this time it's sponsored by, um.

  So you might wanna get over there, meet some other local businesses.

  And then from 10 to 11, there is a bunny story time happening at the Camden County Public Library that's sponsored by Goat Busters.

  And they say that there's going to be a, um, special guest.

  Wednesday from 10 to 11, Camden County Public Library On April 2nd, which is Thursday at 5:00 PM there is an adult activity at the St.

  Mary's Public Library.

  Where they're gonna repurpose some old books into bunnies.

  I understand it, but the image looks cool and it might be a fun thing to do.

  So that is gonna be at the St.

  Mary's Public Library, not the Camden County on Friday, April 3rd, the wood bind, public library, look at the library stepping up.

  They are doing a play date, so they've got movies.

  Magnet tiles will be out, puzzles will be out.

  Board games will be out.

  Sounds like just a great time for the whole family.

  That's gonna be from 10 to two at the Woodbine Public Library.

  And then Friday night, five 30 to seven, the Bloom Bar truck in its new location down there in Kings, geez, I guess it's not that new now, but their location down in downtown Kingsland is, um, doing something called a.

  Freshy and floral workshop.

  So a freshie it seems is a car air freshener.

  And so you'll be making a car air freshener, and it's A-B-Y-O-B and snacks, and there's more information in the link in the first comment.

  Um, also on Friday from 6:30 PM till 9:30 PM.

  There is a cornhole and food truck festival at the Walkabout Camp RV Park.

  It is open to the public, not just for the camper.

  Also, here's an idea at 6:00 PM that the waterfront there is an awaken multi church.

  Good Friday worship service.

  So if you missed the, um, multi church awaken worship service last time, it was awesome.

  Of course, it's downtown St.

  Mary's waterfront at night, so bring your bug spray, bring a chair, bring a beach blanket, whatever you need to get comfy down there.

  But it was so awesome.

  And so that is gonna be multiple churches singing all kinds of different songs, 6:00 PM at the waterfront.

  You could leave there and you could head over to Sweet Lunch, Jeannette, and hear about their house membership if you want it.

  If you wanna head to the other end of the county and be in Kingsland, you can go to Hometown Nutrition and Fitness.

  They're doing an open mic night and they're, they called it Say It with your Chest, and I love that.

  So, um, they, it looks like they're open to spoken work poetry, modern political stuff, like whatever you're into, you can go grab the mic.

  River Tide's Landscaping downtown in St.

  So they are giving away coffee while you shop for plants on a Saturday morning.

  That starts at nine 30 in the morning at River Tide's Landscaping.

  This is a pretty plant heavy Saturday, I gotta tell you for our options, because.

  Mary's Garden Club is doing their annual sale at Orange Hall from nine to noon.

  Um, that is happening at the same time as the weekly St.

  Mary's farmer's market.

  So you won't only have the opportunity to buy plants, you can buy your normal like bread crafts things that are down there at the uh, St.

  Mary's market.

  But you can also support the Garden Club with their annual plant sale.

  And then there's another farmer's market going on at everybody rent.

  That's over by the Waffle House, I think, uh, from 10 to three.

  And if you're interested in what all the farmer's markets have going on, there's actually a Facebook group I found today called Farmer's Markets of Camden County.

  So I love it when the name just makes sense.

  And that is going on that that market from 10 to three.

  At 10 30 there is a STEM event going on for grades three through six at the Woodbine Public Library.

  Also, alien Treats our local ice cream joint Love Alien Treats is hosting pictures with the Easter Bunny from 12 to four on Saturday, and those pictures are my favorite price free.

  If you are an adult and wanna get on stage from one to four, saltwater Performing Arts is holding their auditions for the importance of being earnest.

  It is with the Encore Troop, which is the adult troupe, and those shows are going to be mid to late June.

  Then there are still Easter bunny train rides going on from the Kingsland station this weekend.

  And then they have an Easter breakfast and an egg hunt beginning at nine 30.

  Camden has multiple services.

  They actually have a Saturday night service.

  Saturday service is at 5:00 PM Sunday, they're having it from 8 9 15, 10 30, and 1145.

  So plenty of options to go to.

  Christchurch, Camden, and the Harbor Worship Center is having services at seven 30.

  And of course there are just, I dunno, a hundred more churches that want to welcome you through their door.
