- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Camra Judge.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of The twat Seat
- 0:22Speaker 2: with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra Judge. Today we have on
- 0:26Speaker 2: Tracy Tutor. Tracy is a top real estate agent, best
- 0:30Speaker 2: selling author, and entrepreneur with twenty four years experience in
- 0:35Speaker 2: luxury real estate sales. She's a main cast member on
- 0:39Speaker 2: the real estate reality television show Million Dollar Listing. At
- 0:44Speaker 2: this point in time, TAM's Wi fi is a little spotty,
- 0:48Speaker 2: so I may be taking this one on my own,
- 0:50Speaker 2: but let's hope that she will be joining us as well,
- 0:53Speaker 2: because she is more of a real estate guru than
- 0:56Speaker 2: I am. But I do know Tracy a little bit
- 1:00Speaker 2: because our daughters ride horses together. So small world. I
- 1:06Speaker 2: feel like the first thing we need to talk about
- 1:08Speaker 2: is the obvious, and it's not your show that's premiering
- 1:10Speaker 2: this week. It's the fact that I see you at
- 1:12Speaker 2: horse shows almost every single week.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I know. It's so fun seeing you outside of the
- 1:20Speaker 3: world of the bravoverse. I love. I love it like
- 1:24Speaker 3: it's so it's my greatest passion. Now my daughter rides
- 1:27Speaker 3: and I don't as much anymore.
- 1:29Speaker 2: So, Oh, I didn't know that you wrote as well.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I just thought that it was your daughter. So you
- 1:35Speaker 2: have a history of like you're in't a question as well.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I competed until I was pregnant with Scarlet, so
- 1:42Speaker 3: I used to do like the meter twenty meter thirty
- 1:45Speaker 3: and prior to that, I was like a three day
- 1:49Speaker 3: eventor I mean, I've been riding since I was a kid.
- 1:52Speaker 2: That is so cool. Well now I feel like, now
- 1:54Speaker 2: that I know this, I'm going to be pressuring you
- 1:56Speaker 2: that you need to start back because horse shows are
- 1:58Speaker 2: a lot more fun with your day when you're riding
- 2:01Speaker 2: as well.
- 2:02Speaker 3: I know, I know. And then I don't have to
- 2:04Speaker 3: film her shaking while she goes into the ring to
- 2:07Speaker 3: do the big jumps and I'm like a nervous rat
- 2:10Speaker 3: watching her. So I'd love to get back into it,
- 2:12Speaker 3: but I'm so damned competitive, and I'm like, how do
- 2:15Speaker 3: I find the hours? I have no idea.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I know it's and plus then you like have to justify,
- 2:21Speaker 2: like I'm already spending this much amount of money on
- 2:23Speaker 2: my daughter, how do I spend this on myself?
- 2:26Speaker 3: Because we're gonna have Yeah, we're gonna have to share
- 2:28Speaker 3: a horse because mom cannot afford to keep buying horses.
- 2:32Speaker 3: It's a very expensive sport.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I just yeah, I just saw meme like how something
- 2:39Speaker 2: along the lines of like how do you how do
- 2:42Speaker 2: you stay a millionaire and ride horses? And it's in
- 2:46Speaker 2: the quote is you start as a billionaire?
- 2:51Speaker 3: Accurate? Accurate?
- 2:53Speaker 2: It's so diglists. But also just to be clear, I
- 2:56Speaker 2: look like dead man walking at every horse show and
- 2:59Speaker 2: I see Tracy and I'm like, is she and glam
- 3:01Speaker 2: is She's the most stunning woman I've ever seen, like
- 3:05Speaker 2: so effortless, like so cool, and I'm like with my advisor,
- 3:09Speaker 2: like I.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Need Advisor, though I gotta protect the skins. But yeah,
- 3:14Speaker 3: I have so much fun, like that whole circuit and
- 3:17Speaker 3: the people to go to these horror shows. It's like
- 3:19Speaker 3: such a different world and till you do it and
- 3:23Speaker 3: live it, you have no concept. But it's fun. Like
- 3:26Speaker 3: I love going to the Grand Prix and I love
- 3:29Speaker 3: how people come from all over in all different walks
- 3:32Speaker 3: of life to like go to that Indio circuit and
- 3:36Speaker 3: twelve weeks later you're like, I am broke.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And I'm surrounded by people crazier than myself like that.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I mean, we are all nuts. But getting into the
- 3:48Speaker 2: show aspect season fifteen of a million dollars listing your
- 3:52Speaker 2: premiere just happened. How are you feeling after watching it?
- 3:56Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on this upcoming season?
- 3:59Speaker 4: You know, it's it's it's an exciting season for me
- 4:03Speaker 4: because I think, you know, with obviously just being Flag
- 4:08Speaker 4: and Altman and myself, and obviously we get to spend
- 4:10Speaker 4: some time with Heather too.
- 4:11Speaker 3: We all have close personal relationships. We all work together
- 4:15Speaker 3: outside of the show, and you know, I think now
- 4:19Speaker 3: that it's just a smaller past, we dive a little
- 4:22Speaker 3: bit deeper, and you know, I share a lot of
- 4:25Speaker 3: things this season that I don't think I've typically shared
- 4:27Speaker 3: in the past because our show leans a little more
- 4:29Speaker 3: real estate than it does drama. But you know, I
- 4:33Speaker 3: go through a breakup this season.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I was going to ask you, I feel I haven't
- 4:37Speaker 2: seen like I don't feel I know that you were
- 4:39Speaker 2: married prior, but I don't like, I feel like I
- 4:41Speaker 2: didn't hear much about like that, and then I don't
- 4:44Speaker 2: know much about your dating life. So I was like,
- 4:46Speaker 2: hold on, I'm gonna need to ask some questions. So
- 4:49Speaker 2: you go through a breakup this season on the show.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Do we know who the person is? Are they in
- 4:53Speaker 2: real estate?
- 4:55Speaker 3: No? Eric I was with for a little over three years.
- 4:59Speaker 3: We met because he was my trainer try.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I had heard that, Okay, love that. I mean, you
- 5:05Speaker 2: don't connect anymore with somebody that that's you know, when
- 5:09Speaker 2: you do a.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Squat exactly, it's last stretching you afterwards. But yeah, I
- 5:15Speaker 3: met Eric right before COVID started, and it morphed into
- 5:19Speaker 3: what ended up being like a very amazing three year relationship,
- 5:24Speaker 3: but not ultimately something that I knew was going to
- 5:28Speaker 3: last forever. I mean, he wants a family. He's twenty
- 5:31Speaker 3: nine years old, but he has whole life in front
- 5:35Speaker 3: of him, and I'm just in a very different phase
- 5:37Speaker 3: of my life. And so you know, for the last year,
- 5:40Speaker 3: as you know, we were shooting this and even prior
- 5:44Speaker 3: to starting production, you know, certain thoughts are going through
- 5:47Speaker 3: your head, and you know, you get a little bit
- 5:50Speaker 3: comfortable and you're sort of You're like, I'll know when
- 5:53Speaker 3: I know that it's time. And that actually happened, you know,
- 5:59Speaker 3: with the cameras and everything, and typically you know, when
- 6:02Speaker 3: I first joined the show in season ten, I was
- 6:06Speaker 3: very privately going through divorce while we were shooting, and
- 6:10Speaker 3: because my children were so young and I was obviously
- 6:13Speaker 3: very protective of them, I really didn't talk about it
- 6:16Speaker 3: on the show at all, and that was just not
- 6:18Speaker 3: you know, we were doing a business show and that
- 6:21Speaker 3: wasn't a place I was prepared to be vulnerable enough
- 6:23Speaker 3: to talk about. And this time around, I very much
- 6:27Speaker 3: trust my showrunner, and I called her and I said, look,
- 6:30Speaker 3: this is what I'm going through, and it's happening live
- 6:34Speaker 3: right now, and I'll give you one week. Yeah, well,
- 6:39Speaker 3: I get because I cannot talk about this for the
- 6:42Speaker 3: next because you know, our show shoots for like ten months.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yeah that's a long time. Because just for our listeners Housewives,
- 6:49Speaker 2: it probably filmed, depending on how many episodes they get,
- 6:53Speaker 2: film for about three to four months of like actual filming,
- 6:56Speaker 2: but then Confessionals go on for forever till the end
- 6:59Speaker 2: of time time. But you guys are actually in production
- 7:03Speaker 2: for a full ten months to create.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, we're following live sales and you know,
- 7:07Speaker 3: this is a crazy time in the market. And I
- 7:11Speaker 3: think what's different about this season than perhaps in the
- 7:14Speaker 3: past is we're in a very challenging time in the
- 7:18Speaker 3: Los Angeles market with different taxes coming into play. The
- 7:21Speaker 3: new mansion tax really screwed us. And you know, there's
- 7:25Speaker 3: a lot happening in the world of real estate right now.
- 7:28Speaker 3: So you're going to get to see a season where typically,
- 7:31Speaker 3: you know, all the glitz and the glamour and the
- 7:33Speaker 3: thirty million dollars sales, and you know, we walk into
- 7:36Speaker 3: a listening point where we get it and then we
- 7:38Speaker 3: close it next on the next episode. You're not getting
- 7:41Speaker 3: that this season. You're watching us struggle go through price reductions.
- 7:45Speaker 3: You know, have a difficult time with clients, and we
- 7:48Speaker 3: try to be as true to what we're experiencing in
- 7:51Speaker 3: the market, and that you know isn't always the foot
- 7:55Speaker 3: that we want to put forward. But in my opinion,
- 7:57Speaker 3: speaking truth is going to speak to the audience watches
- 8:00Speaker 3: our show, and that's what we're doing. So we'll see
- 8:03Speaker 3: a lot of losses, a lot of craziness this season,
- 8:06Speaker 3: and some obviously great highs, but certainly some lows as well.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Well. You were the first female agent to join million
- 8:14Speaker 2: dollars listing in LA right, correct, So that leads me
- 8:18Speaker 2: this is a little bit of a relationship talk, but
- 8:20Speaker 2: also just like the power dynamic of joining a group
- 8:25Speaker 2: that when you are the first woman like one in
- 8:27Speaker 2: your relationship with Eric, do you feel like because you're
- 8:31Speaker 2: in such a position of strength and you have such
- 8:35Speaker 2: I mean, you're you're a very strong woman, You're very successful,
- 8:38Speaker 2: you sell super expensive houses. Do you think that came
- 8:42Speaker 2: into the end of play with what the demise of
- 8:45Speaker 2: the relationship was or do you think No, I don't.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I mean Eric, I mean for a twenty nine year
- 8:51Speaker 3: old trainer, and he's very He's not a typical twenty
- 8:57Speaker 3: nine year old. He's not lazy. He wakes up before
- 8:59Speaker 3: ever everybody else. He's up at four thirty every morning working,
- 9:03Speaker 3: does ten to twelve clients a day, sometimes is on
- 9:05Speaker 3: his feet all day. He's invested his money properly, bought
- 9:09Speaker 3: his first town home, which I sold him after we
- 9:13Speaker 3: broke up.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And did you guys live together?
- 9:16Speaker 3: We did? We did, okay, So I think, you know,
- 9:21Speaker 3: in his own right, he is doing just fine financially.
- 9:25Speaker 3: That was not the reason that we were together, although
- 9:27Speaker 3: you know the blogs love to talk about that. Yeah,
- 9:31Speaker 3: he's he's incredibly successful, far more successful than I think
- 9:35Speaker 3: most twenty nine year olds out there, So I have
- 9:37Speaker 3: a mad amount of respect for him when it comes
- 9:39Speaker 3: to that. And I think me joining the show as
- 9:42Speaker 3: a female, you know, with two powerhouse brokers that also
- 9:47Speaker 3: do extremely well, you know, I think there's always been
- 9:49Speaker 3: concern like can a woman stand next to these big
- 9:53Speaker 3: guy personalities that have been on the show for you know,
- 9:57Speaker 3: at that time ten years already, we've been here. So
- 10:01Speaker 3: when I joined, it was can she pulled her own?
- 10:05Speaker 2: What would you say that your relationship off camera is
- 10:09Speaker 2: like with Josh Flag and Josh Altman, because I've I've
- 10:12Speaker 2: hung out with them different times, like Bravocon or like
- 10:15Speaker 2: just random settings, and I'm just curious when you guys
- 10:19Speaker 2: are done filming, are you guys like or is it no? No?
- 10:23Speaker 3: Josh Flag actually he's very upset with me right now
- 10:26Speaker 3: because he wanted me to be in the South of
- 10:28Speaker 3: France with him at Hotel the Cap.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Oh I saw he's with Laura Owsome in there.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So he and I went to Hotel
- 10:37Speaker 3: the Cap and had a you know, a summer fling
- 10:39Speaker 3: if you will, last summer, and actually when I came back,
- 10:44Speaker 3: we were filming during that time, and when I came
- 10:46Speaker 3: back from the south of France is actually when I
- 10:49Speaker 3: broke up with Eric, so flag believe it or not,
- 10:52Speaker 3: you know, kind of walked me through that. And we're
- 10:55Speaker 3: very close. I mean sometimes I want to kill him,
- 10:58Speaker 3: but he's like a brother to me, and and and
- 11:02Speaker 3: and again. Altman is definitely someone I adore, respect, admire
- 11:07Speaker 3: both on camera and off.
- 11:09Speaker 2: And he what do you want to kill?
- 11:11Speaker 3: I would say flat only you know, he's he's a lot.
- 11:17Speaker 3: He is very demanding. He does not but but we
- 11:19Speaker 3: have such a funny dynamic between the two of us.
- 11:24Speaker 3: And I think because obviously I'm older than him, I'm
- 11:26Speaker 3: like a big sister, so I have to tell him
- 11:28Speaker 3: no and he doesn't like to be told no all
- 11:29Speaker 3: the time. And so it's I adore them both, but
- 11:34Speaker 3: they're different, They're very different.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Well, now now we've we're officially welcoming Tam.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Oh my god, Yeah, how do you feel about Uh?
- 11:45Speaker 5: I just watched the new one with Oh my god, Ryan, sureheart,
- 11:51Speaker 5: you watch that? Oh my god. I actually really liked
- 11:55Speaker 5: it because I love New York and I love seeing it,
- 11:57Speaker 5: like I see La Houses all the time, but New
- 12:00Speaker 5: York is so so different and to see I really
- 12:03Speaker 5: enjoyed it.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Yeah, and Ryan is such a huge personality and he's
- 12:07Speaker 3: he's incredibly successful, and so he of all the shows,
- 12:11Speaker 3: I think what we'd call like the selling Sunset type
- 12:15Speaker 3: show is doing a ton of business. I'm so happy
- 12:20Speaker 3: for him. I haven't seen the show yet, but I
- 12:23Speaker 3: definitely want to watch it. And you know, I've read
- 12:26Speaker 3: a couple of the girls from you know, the different
- 12:29Speaker 3: selling Sunset selling oc. I think it's a different type
- 12:34Speaker 3: of show, right.
- 12:34Speaker 2: It's do you think we've heard rumors that some of
- 12:38Speaker 2: these people aren't actually selling houses? Is that accurate?
- 12:42Speaker 3: I can neither confirm nor deny.
- 12:46Speaker 5: I might have looked into their inventory, yeah.
- 12:50Speaker 3: You know. I mean what I can say is I
- 12:53Speaker 3: think it's a very successful show. I give them a
- 12:56Speaker 3: lot of props. They're killing it, you know, Netflix, and
- 13:01Speaker 3: that's a great thing. If you had to pick who
- 13:04Speaker 3: your real estate agent was going to be, I might say,
- 13:06Speaker 3: come on over to our show.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Ye.
- 13:09Speaker 5: What advice would you give people that are wanting to
- 13:11Speaker 5: sell and buy right now? Because it's such crazy time
- 13:13Speaker 5: with interest rates so high, what do you recommend?
- 13:17Speaker 3: You know, there's a there if you look back, you know,
- 13:20Speaker 3: to COVID times and interest rates you know, in twenty
- 13:24Speaker 3: twenty one and even early twenty twenty two were at
- 13:27Speaker 3: two percent, so but the prices were higher. So then
- 13:31Speaker 3: you had people going, I mean, the prices are crazy
- 13:34Speaker 3: right now, and I'm like trying to educate people and
- 13:37Speaker 3: say you should be buying now and walking in that
- 13:41Speaker 3: interest rate that we will not see again. But people
- 13:44Speaker 3: could not wrap their heads around paying premiums on the properties.
- 13:48Speaker 3: And now look what's happened. The tables have completely. The
- 13:53Speaker 3: interest rates are now what people were looking at two
- 13:56Speaker 3: years ago. They can no longer afford. And you know,
- 13:59Speaker 3: there are a lot of different factors that come into play.
- 14:02Speaker 3: But the people that did buy, you know, and like myself,
- 14:06Speaker 3: I secured a home for myself in Beverly Hills at
- 14:09Speaker 3: a two percent interest rate for ten years. I can't
- 14:12Speaker 3: sell now. I'm not going to sell that house and
- 14:14Speaker 3: go buy selling seven. So it becomes a hug of
- 14:17Speaker 3: war with there's a lot of sellers that can't afford
- 14:19Speaker 3: to sell and buyers right now that have been looking
- 14:23Speaker 3: for the last two years can no longer afford to buy.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Yeah, and you'll probably see a lot more cash buyers
- 14:29Speaker 5: right now than.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, we're still doing you know, crazy business.
- 14:33Speaker 3: You know, there's some big deals happening in Malibu. We're
- 14:36Speaker 3: still seeing record breaking sales. I've got clients looking, you know,
- 14:41Speaker 3: from forty five to eighty million dollar houses. But those
- 14:45Speaker 3: are the one ops, right And when you have a team,
- 14:48Speaker 3: and all my little team members that I'm supporting, I'm like, listen,
- 14:52Speaker 3: you guys brought to ride the wave, and you got
- 14:53Speaker 3: to work harder now than when you're in a great market.
- 14:57Speaker 3: You're going to work harder now and you're going to
- 14:59Speaker 3: make less. And there will be a lot of real
- 15:01Speaker 3: estate agents that will let their licenses expire I'm imagining
- 15:05Speaker 3: at the end of this year and into next because
- 15:07Speaker 3: you can't survive or a commission based job.
- 15:20Speaker 5: I haven't used my license in so long, and I
- 15:24Speaker 5: just renewed it.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I renew it.
- 15:25Speaker 5: Every four years. You just never know where you're going
- 15:27Speaker 5: to be.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Never know.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yeah, And we saw on the I think it was
- 15:31Speaker 2: either the trailer or the super tease or something on
- 15:34Speaker 2: the Real Housewives of Orange County. This is something that
- 15:37Speaker 2: I'm curious about when it comes as a real estate agent.
- 15:40Speaker 2: But she says, we bought a house in Beverly Hills.
- 15:44Speaker 2: It was listed at forty million, but we got it
- 15:47Speaker 2: for sixteen.
- 15:49Speaker 5: That's a hell of a deal.
- 15:51Speaker 2: So one I was wondering, like, is that a million
- 15:54Speaker 2: dollar listening? Like I feel like I may have said
- 15:57Speaker 2: yet here's and how does that happen?
- 15:59Speaker 3: And I can't confirm any of that because it's arguably
- 16:03Speaker 3: it could be you know, false and not accurate. But
- 16:07Speaker 3: what I will say is there was a time where
- 16:09Speaker 3: aspirational pricing, you would just slap numbers on something and
- 16:12Speaker 3: this was not that long ago. Two three years ago.
- 16:16Speaker 3: House could be worth fifty million, you put a price
- 16:19Speaker 3: tag on it of one hundred and ten because people
- 16:21Speaker 3: were in the market of land banking and putting money
- 16:25Speaker 3: into Los Angeles in particular. And you know, these days
- 16:30Speaker 3: we're seeing a lot of these trades that are crushing
- 16:32Speaker 3: the market, particularly in bel Air, where you know a
- 16:35Speaker 3: house was once listed for seventy five million and traded
- 16:39Speaker 3: at thirty two. So that is happening. And you know,
- 16:45Speaker 3: I think sellers are becoming more aware that the aspirational
- 16:50Speaker 3: pricing in a market like today and more than likely
- 16:53Speaker 3: into twenty twenty five is is it's not changing anytime soon.
- 16:57Speaker 3: And we're never going to get that two percent interest
- 16:59Speaker 3: rate back. Yeah.
- 17:00Speaker 5: A couple of years ago, we saw a lot of
- 17:02Speaker 5: people moving out of California going to Texas, Tennessee, all
- 17:05Speaker 5: these places. Is that still happening now?
- 17:08Speaker 3: And I'm in Texas. I got I got licensed in Texas.
- 17:11Speaker 3: I have a big business in Dallas and Austin. I
- 17:14Speaker 3: love Texas.
- 17:15Speaker 5: Yeah, Texas.
- 17:19Speaker 3: I love the ranches, I love the vibe. I mean
- 17:23Speaker 3: I could see myself eventually, you know, having a place there.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Right now, I have a cute little bachelorette apartment. It's
- 17:29Speaker 3: super fun. But it's a great state, and you know,
- 17:32Speaker 3: and it's growing quickly. And of course, you know, when
- 17:35Speaker 3: the market is kind of crappy in La, you gotta,
- 17:38Speaker 3: if you're smart, you pivot. So that's what I've done.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Yeah, what do you think is the new up and
- 17:43Speaker 5: coming state?
- 17:45Speaker 3: Well, I'm gonna say Texas because that's where I'm doing.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I mean, I heard Nashville too, well.
- 17:51Speaker 3: I mean, listen, obviously, these income tax free states where
- 17:56Speaker 3: you know, the wealthier leaving California because we've had enough.
- 18:00Speaker 3: And you know, as as wonderful as California is, and
- 18:04Speaker 3: it's hard to knock because I've been born and raised here.
- 18:07Speaker 3: There's lots happened in the last five years that I
- 18:10Speaker 3: think has made it a little more difficult to stay
- 18:13Speaker 3: in Los Angeles. And so you're seeing people flee to Florida,
- 18:18Speaker 3: You're seeing people flee to Nashville, You're seeing people flee
- 18:20Speaker 3: to Texas Vegas. I think people want out.
- 18:27Speaker 2: We also saw there was a lot. This was a
- 18:30Speaker 2: lot on the blogs and the rumor mill that you
- 18:33Speaker 2: were joining Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this year. It
- 18:38Speaker 2: was everywhere. So I was wondering you in talks, is
- 18:42Speaker 2: it something you were considering? Are you going to do
- 18:44Speaker 2: a couple of drop ins? Like you got to give
- 18:46Speaker 2: us a little tea on this, I'll give you.
- 18:48Speaker 3: A little tea. So years and years ago, like, let's
- 18:51Speaker 3: call it before this was I want to say, when
- 18:54Speaker 3: Brandy Glanville joined the show was the year that they
- 18:59Speaker 3: asked me to come in and talk about it. This
- 19:02Speaker 3: is before I was on a million dollar listing, so
- 19:06Speaker 3: coming for an interview, I mean, and that was early.
- 19:08Speaker 3: So I was like, I think this could life maybe
- 19:11Speaker 3: mess with my career, Like I don't think this is
- 19:14Speaker 3: this is like when reality still wasn't like a slam
- 19:17Speaker 3: dunk if you're an entrepreneur running a business. So it
- 19:20Speaker 3: was a little risky for me at that time. And
- 19:22Speaker 3: by the way, not that they even liked me, but
- 19:24Speaker 3: the joke has always been down the road. You know.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Obviously I know a few of them. I'm very close
- 19:30Speaker 3: with Crystal, I know all the girls over there. I'm
- 19:34Speaker 3: not as close with many of them. But Andy asked
- 19:36Speaker 3: me that question. I'll watch What Happens Live and I
- 19:40Speaker 3: was like, he said, would you ever do the Housewives?
- 19:43Speaker 3: And I just said one hundred percent? And he's like why,
- 19:46Speaker 3: I said, because I think I could take all those
- 19:47Speaker 3: bitches down.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Ah, you know what I would, now that we've actually
- 19:51Speaker 2: had this conversation, I think you can give them a
- 19:54Speaker 2: run for their mine.
- 19:55Speaker 3: I know.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Do you know that?
- 19:56Speaker 5: That's my exact line I said when I interviewed seventeen
- 20:00Speaker 5: years ago for Housewives, said the same thing. I could
- 20:03Speaker 5: take these bitches down, and you have you'm h.
- 20:08Speaker 2: And they're lane I hired. Yeah, right, Well, speaking of
- 20:14Speaker 2: people on reality television shows, we have to be honest.
- 20:18Speaker 2: We did not get a good impression of Jason Oppenheim.
- 20:22Speaker 2: The multiple times that we've met him, what is your
- 20:27Speaker 2: relationship with him? And do you feel the same way
- 20:29Speaker 2: we do or we were just we caught him on
- 20:32Speaker 2: some bad days.
- 20:33Speaker 3: You might have caught Jason on some bad days. Jason
- 20:36Speaker 3: does a lot of business. You know, it's it's gone
- 20:39Speaker 3: in a different direction for him now. You know, it's
- 20:41Speaker 3: a TV show that is major on a network, and
- 20:45Speaker 3: the show really isn't about Jason. It's about the girls
- 20:49Speaker 3: and the drama behind them, fighting over who's wearing the
- 20:52Speaker 3: right outfit to the listing appointment that they're never getting right.
- 20:56Speaker 3: So it's like, but Jason, truthfully is a talented, smart
- 21:05Speaker 3: as shit agent who's been doing business for a long time.
- 21:08Speaker 5: So I have to be he's so successful, he has
- 21:11Speaker 5: to I have.
- 21:12Speaker 3: A good relationship with him. We you know, we chat,
- 21:16Speaker 3: we do business together. I respect him. But does he
- 21:21Speaker 3: have a little Napoleon complex?
- 21:22Speaker 2: Maybe?
- 21:23Speaker 3: Perhaps? But who? Well?
- 21:24Speaker 2: Also, where is the other twin? Why do we never
- 21:27Speaker 2: see him?
- 21:27Speaker 5: I think he's a shy He's a little shy.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Brett's a little more shy. But I will tell you
- 21:33Speaker 3: I was with I was at an event and I
- 21:35Speaker 3: was with the Bling Empire people and you're laughing and
- 21:42Speaker 3: I thought Jason walked up and it was Brett could
- 21:46Speaker 3: not tell them apart like, oh, you're so nice.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Who are you?
- 21:51Speaker 3: No clue, couldn't tell him apart. He was like, it's
- 21:54Speaker 3: been a long I've known you a long time. But
- 21:57Speaker 3: Brett is the quieter one. He's a little bit more,
- 22:00Speaker 3: you know, happy to be behind the scenes, and Jason
- 22:02Speaker 3: is a little playboy who loves to be out in
- 22:04Speaker 3: the center, in the thick of it.
- 22:06Speaker 2: You know, would you have one of Nick Cannon's babies?
- 22:10Speaker 3: But not.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Now?
- 22:14Speaker 5: You know, I follow you on Instagram half for a
- 22:15Speaker 5: very long time, and I love watching your fitness journey.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Oh thank you, I've watched I've watched yours as well.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I mean, you were you get after it says.
- 22:25Speaker 5: I try to now I did read and I think
- 22:28Speaker 5: you said this also on Jeff Lewis's show, that you
- 22:30Speaker 5: did try one of those semi glutar Manjero. Did you
- 22:36Speaker 5: had a bad reaction? I gave you a projectile vomiting
- 22:40Speaker 5: on as you were filming.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Yes. So this was the end of twenty twenty two
- 22:46Speaker 3: and I had come back from like summer like Europe
- 22:50Speaker 3: trip and just felt like, you know, I mean again
- 22:53Speaker 3: to let the judgers judge, but I didn't feel very
- 22:55Speaker 3: good about myself. My doctor was like, well, there's this
- 22:57Speaker 3: new sort of semi blue type thing. You know, why
- 23:00Speaker 3: didn't you give that a shot? But I don't want
- 23:02Speaker 3: you on it for longer than like eight to ten weeks.
- 23:05Speaker 3: So I gave it a shot, not fully recognizing that
- 23:08Speaker 3: my enjoyment of likely of wine, but you know, it's
- 23:16Speaker 3: not really it is not meant to be mixed with alcohol.
- 23:19Speaker 3: And after about i want to say, like eight nine weeks,
- 23:24Speaker 3: we were shooting the finale and I had had a
- 23:26Speaker 3: couple of glasses of wine while we were shooting at
- 23:29Speaker 3: the dinner and I woke up the next morning to
- 23:31Speaker 3: do the final the final cut, in the final scene
- 23:35Speaker 3: of the show, and I was I have never been sicker.
- 23:38Speaker 3: It was absolutely and I was like, I am done
- 23:42Speaker 3: with it.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I heard it cuts out any cravings that like for
- 23:46Speaker 2: alcohol or whatever it may be. It's going to take
- 23:49Speaker 2: that urge to want to do it.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Away, Absolutely so, and I learned it. I learned that
- 23:55Speaker 3: the hard way. But you know, again, I was on
- 23:57Speaker 3: it for people still think I'm on it, but I'm
- 24:00Speaker 3: really honest about what I've done, so you know, it
- 24:04Speaker 3: is what it is, and you know, I'm I still
- 24:07Speaker 3: am in the gym every.
- 24:08Speaker 5: Day and I love seeing it.
- 24:10Speaker 3: And it kept me like, I'm so much healthier than
- 24:14Speaker 3: I was five years ago.
- 24:27Speaker 2: We have some fan questions, so there some are gonna
- 24:31Speaker 2: be a little shady. So you're gonna have to You're
- 24:33Speaker 2: gonna have to go and away, shade away. It's all.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Of course, it's Bravoverse but best and worst Bravo LB.
- 24:46Speaker 2: You ran into a Bravo con Oh.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Yeah, let's see who is the best.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I think you ran into me in camera, so I
- 24:58Speaker 2: mean that's pretty obvious.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys always great. You know who else is
- 25:05Speaker 3: super cool? Garcel is super fun. I love Aaron from
- 25:10Speaker 3: US too. Yeah, Aaron and I are Powell, so she
- 25:14Speaker 3: is super fun. Worst. I don't know that Teresa Judas,
- 25:21Speaker 3: she can be a little rough around the edges. I
- 25:28Speaker 3: just think that she thinks she's listen at the end
- 25:31Speaker 3: of the day, what we all do for a living,
- 25:33Speaker 3: and are how blessed we all are to be on
- 25:37Speaker 3: this network and get to do what we do. But
- 25:41Speaker 3: I don't take it that seriously. And there are certain
- 25:44Speaker 3: people that I think, you know.
- 25:47Speaker 5: It's everything and this is like, this is well, this
- 25:50Speaker 5: is her life. There's people that are like, there's a
- 25:53Speaker 5: lot of househives.
- 25:54Speaker 3: She said, nothing bad to me, it's just a sense
- 25:59Speaker 3: of important that.
- 26:00Speaker 5: It's like the Oppen hypertus.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yes, I find that amusing, Like we're all not that important.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Like we we do what we do. It's fun. We
- 26:09Speaker 3: get to have this great, big family on a network
- 26:12Speaker 3: that does these crazy shows, and we're really lucky to
- 26:14Speaker 3: be able to do it. But are we Nicole Kidman?
- 26:17Speaker 5: No, No, what housewife would you love to sell their house?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Mmm?
- 26:24Speaker 3: Probably? Well she's no longer a housewife, I would.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Say, yeah, yeah, how much do you think a house
- 26:32Speaker 2: like that? I mean we're just speaking hypothetically, but how
- 26:36Speaker 2: much do you think that house would go for? These days?
- 26:39Speaker 2: And it's current like and I'm not this isn't shade.
- 26:42Speaker 5: I'm just in the current pink condition.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Yes, and it's current state.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Oh, I would say it's probably in the mid twenties.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Oh okay, where what do you think higher or lower?
- 26:56Speaker 2: Well, I would I would think mid twenty But then
- 27:00Speaker 2: I also don't know because you can look at a
- 27:03Speaker 2: ship box out here in Encino and it's seven million.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I would have thought more too, But I don't
- 27:09Speaker 5: know that area. Yeah, I don't even real estate at all.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Well, it's not behind the gates, it's not Beverly Park.
- 27:15Speaker 3: So it's that that would have elevated it to a
- 27:18Speaker 3: whole nother stratosphere because you know, right through those gates
- 27:21Speaker 3: on the other side of where Lisa lives is this
- 27:24Speaker 3: community and that's where like Mark Wahlberg had his house,
- 27:26Speaker 3: and like we're talking eighty million, ninety million, one hundred
- 27:30Speaker 3: and fifty million, isn't that where.
- 27:31Speaker 5: She used to live?
- 27:33Speaker 2: No, Lisa, No, yeah, because I know that.
- 27:35Speaker 5: She said that Mark Wahlberg was her front and then
- 27:38Speaker 5: Adrian Maloof as well lived in that same area. This
- 27:43Speaker 5: was like when the show first.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Started, by the shame area, they mean we all live
- 27:48Speaker 2: in Los Angeles.
- 27:50Speaker 5: No, they lived across the street from each other. And
- 27:51Speaker 5: they said that Mark Wahlberg lived there too. Well, this
- 27:54Speaker 5: was ten something years ago.
- 27:55Speaker 2: People know, well he lives in Vegas now, I think, right, yeah,
- 27:57Speaker 2: he moved to Vegas. Bravo show do you watch, like,
- 28:03Speaker 2: what is your go to one other than your own?
- 28:08Speaker 2: Of course, I definitely watch your show.
- 28:10Speaker 3: I watched The Beverly Hills Housewives, and I was a
- 28:14Speaker 3: big fan of Below Deck as well, premarily just because
- 28:17Speaker 3: I want to be above deck.
- 28:19Speaker 5: Yeah, would you ever go on that show below Deck?
- 28:21Speaker 2: You've been asked, knowing you have to pay.
- 28:23Speaker 3: I have been asked, and I'm friendly with Sandy, who
- 28:27Speaker 3: I adore. I would do that. I think it'd be fun.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Why don't we all go? You were recently a guest
- 28:34Speaker 2: judge on Drag Race. Who's tougher to deal with Drag
- 28:38Speaker 2: Race or the Joshes?
- 28:40Speaker 3: Josh Is for sure? Those drag boys are so fun.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Oh my, the talent that comes out of them is
- 28:46Speaker 3: it was. It was a great time judging that show,
- 28:49Speaker 3: really really fun. But the Joshs are much more high maintenance.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Okay, so before before we close out, we have to
- 28:58Speaker 2: ask I mean, well, ask a couple more show questions.
- 29:01Speaker 2: But first, if you had to date one Bravo celebrity.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Who yay? Who's the wealthiest?
- 29:17Speaker 2: You go younger? So you're gonna you're gonna have to
- 29:19Speaker 2: go to like Summerhouse. The Summer House boys are.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Not hot maybe Southern charm situation.
- 29:28Speaker 5: Not Chef Craig is, but he's taken.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Yes, he does he have a girlfriend, now, Craig, Craig, No, Craig,
- 29:38Speaker 3: I thought you were talking about sp.
- 29:40Speaker 2: No, Shep does not have a girlfriend. But Craig, here's
- 29:43Speaker 2: the problem. None of us are funnier than Page, so
- 29:46Speaker 2: none of us are getting Page is like so cute, Page.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Wins and Craig is definitely the best of the Southern
- 29:54Speaker 3: charm bunch.
- 29:56Speaker 2: You're gonna have to pick one because we're about to
- 29:58Speaker 2: have to rap and we're gonna need to know.
- 30:00Speaker 3: What about the one that has the sailboat? That Jason guy.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Oh, a lot of girls like him.
- 30:07Speaker 3: I know, I'm just if I'm honest, I'm a nobody.
- 30:11Speaker 5: Maybe Andy, Yeah, I was gonna say maybe Andy.
- 30:14Speaker 2: I think i'd see and maybe pretty good.
- 30:18Speaker 5: How about Jenna Lyons?
- 30:20Speaker 3: Oh, if I was to take it that direction, I
- 30:24Speaker 3: think Jenna Lyons is hot.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Yeah, she's going to go for it. Is there anything
- 30:29Speaker 2: you want to tease from this upcoming season other than
- 30:33Speaker 2: what we've already talked about that's going to make sure
- 30:36Speaker 2: that nobody misses tuning in?
- 30:39Speaker 3: Oh God, I mean, I'm a disaster this season. I
- 30:43Speaker 3: feel like, you know, this breakup was it was living
- 30:48Speaker 3: pretty live live time on Bravo, which I haven't done before.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Maybe a little bit of dating involved, so that. Yeah,
- 30:58Speaker 3: I typically don't do any of that on my show.
- 31:00Speaker 2: So getting back on the horse, I'm gonna be.
- 31:02Speaker 3: I'm gonna be like this, but you know, so we
- 31:06Speaker 3: have some fun and I definitely do a little bit
- 31:09Speaker 3: of work with Josh Flag because he decided to buy
- 31:12Speaker 3: a house sight unseen and then take you to it
- 31:15Speaker 3: for the first time.
- 31:16Speaker 5: I saw that preview.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it is a hot mess.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I can only imagine, like you can't.
- 31:23Speaker 5: Wait for this season. I'm a big fan of real
- 31:25Speaker 5: estate shows. That's my favorite thing. I watched them all.
- 31:29Speaker 3: Oh so bad.
- 31:30Speaker 2: We're also now a big fan of you because you're
- 31:33Speaker 2: so fun and easy to talk to.
- 31:35Speaker 3: If we were shooting in about a half hour from now,
- 31:37Speaker 3: we can all be having wine and doing this and
- 31:39Speaker 3: it'd be ten times.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Better, right, you know what. We will bring you to
- 31:43Speaker 2: our our twats con and then let's cost some shit.
- 31:46Speaker 2: But thank you so much for joining us. You guys
- 31:49Speaker 2: can tune in to Million Dollar Listing every Wednesday, and uh,
- 31:55Speaker 2: you guys make sure that you follow Tracy Tudor because
- 31:57Speaker 2: she's very fun to watch and you will also learn
- 32:01Speaker 2: a lot fitness, finance, real estate.
- 32:06Speaker 5: If you need an agent, go to Terracy. She was
- 32:09Speaker 5: named twenty twenty four's top agent in Team in Wall
- 32:12Speaker 5: Street Journal.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Congratulations, thank you baby, Thanks guys, it was fun talking
- 32:18Speaker 3: to you.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 32:19Speaker 5: I'm sorry I was late. My husband's fault.
- 32:24Speaker 2: It's always the husband's fault.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I know.
- 32:26Speaker 5: I'm on the internet, all right.
- 32:30Speaker 3: You guys have an amazing day.
- 32:32Speaker 5: Bye bye Tracy.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Bye,
