- 1:12Speaker 1: shit and we do kind of a mystery science theater
- 1:15Speaker 1: three thousand commentary. Although it's not really quite the same
- 1:18Speaker 1: thing as General Shaw. They actually are trying to be

- 1:51Speaker 1: All right, Thanks a lot, and welcome. We are here
- 1:53Speaker 1: in New York City in sort of temporary studios. I've
- 1:57Speaker 1: traveled here to New York City with mister Henry to
- 2:00Speaker 1: be a part of the World Famous Phil Henry Show's
- 2:03Speaker 1: Initial Broadcasts podcast. If you will hear in New York City,
- 2:08Speaker 1: mister Henry's doing a play. I guess he's gonna be
- 2:11Speaker 1: as kind of an actor or some deal like that, right, Yes,
- 2:14Speaker 1: that's correct, Yes, Okay, Well I don't know. I thought
- 2:16Speaker 1: all I knew mister Henry as sort of a comedian.
- 2:18Speaker 1: He's also kind of a I guess you could say
- 2:21Speaker 1: he's a commentator. Yeah, I knew him as a commentator.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Don't know he was gow actor or anything like that. Well,
- 2:26Speaker 1: you know, that's whatever floats your boat is we like
- 2:29Speaker 1: to say, you know, and the citizens uxury police, what
- 2:31Speaker 1: we like to say is, yeah, you know, whatever floats
- 2:34Speaker 1: your boat, you want to get it on, get it
- 2:35Speaker 1: on good, you know, right, whatever floats your boat? Yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 1: whatever floats your boat? What is it? Whatever flows the boat?
- 2:43Speaker 1: I mean whatever flows, whatever flows your boat, whatever flows
- 2:46Speaker 1: my boat. No, I didn't say that. No, generally shoud
- 2:49Speaker 1: whatever floats, whatever floats the boat, not whatever floats the boat.
- 2:54Speaker 1: It's whatever floats a boat. I mean whatever floats a boat. No,
- 2:59Speaker 1: I think the whole on, hold on, I think what
- 3:01Speaker 1: you're trying to say is whatever floats your boat. Right,
- 3:05Speaker 1: but when you see your boat, you're pointing me, I'm saying,
- 3:07Speaker 1: whatever floats your boat? Hey, can I just interrupt you idiots.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I beg your pardon. Well you got. What you guys
- 3:14Speaker 1: are trying to say is I didn't mean to call
- 3:16Speaker 1: you an idiot, Margaret, Well you did. Yeah, you also
- 3:19Speaker 1: call me one too. Well, Oh that doesn't matter. God
- 3:23Speaker 1: damn man. Look, can we stop for just a minute.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I am hosting the Phil Henry Show. No I know that,
- 3:30Speaker 1: but I just want to stop here. You got to
- 3:33Speaker 1: quit taking everything so personal. Jay, I'm trying to get
- 3:35Speaker 1: to the point here, and you're getting your feelings hurt.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Oh wow, where do you figure I'll get my feelings hurt? Well,
- 3:41Speaker 1: your voice did cracked? You went? You know, yeah you did?
- 3:45Speaker 1: I did what the voice cracked? You went? I don't know.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I don't know how to describe it. Yeah you kind
- 3:50Speaker 1: of did. See. Can I question words? Mister Henry? My understanding.
- 3:52Speaker 1: He's learning the lines. He's learning his lines for this play,
- 3:56Speaker 1: learning the lines for Oh boy, some people have fallen
- 3:59Speaker 1: a long way, my in a long way. Why do
- 4:02Speaker 1: you call it falling a long way? I mean, there's Shelley. Look,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I know what my job is. You know your job,
- 4:08Speaker 1: mister Henriett. I know what his job is stead he's off.
- 4:11Speaker 1: He's off play acting every ten like he's going to
- 4:13Speaker 1: be some kind of play actor. You know, I don't
- 4:15Speaker 1: think he's pretending anything. I think what he's basically saying
- 4:18Speaker 1: is he needs to learn these lines for this play.
- 4:21Speaker 1: For a play is what he's going to be in
- 4:23Speaker 1: his play. Look, why are you here tonight? I'm here
- 4:26Speaker 1: tonight on account I came to New York to support boy.
- 4:30Speaker 1: All right, Look, miss Santis, don't get your feelings hurt
- 4:32Speaker 1: and start to screen, you know, start to cry. What
- 4:35Speaker 1: is it with everybody thinking I'm gonna start to cry? Okay,
- 4:37Speaker 1: I'm Jay Sanders of the citizens Auxury Police. I'm a
- 4:39Speaker 1: Brigadier Admiral. Okay, I bring it. I bring every day
- 4:43Speaker 1: and twice on Sunday. So in other words, you're saying
- 4:45Speaker 1: you're tough. I'm not just saying it. I'll tell you
- 4:48Speaker 1: right now that's who I am. Then why don't you
- 4:50Speaker 1: act that way and quit you know, being on the
- 4:53Speaker 1: verge of tears every time? Someone? Can I walk out
- 4:56Speaker 1: and start again? No, we're in the middle of the
- 4:57Speaker 1: show anyway, Thank you very much, General and Margaret. Can
- 5:02Speaker 1: we cut all this stuff out? But yeah, we can
- 5:03Speaker 1: cut it out. You're not lion. No, I'm not j
- 5:08Speaker 1: sends citizens, aug release citizens, Sorry release citizens, auxiliary release citizens,
- 5:16Speaker 1: Auxuri release, not release police citizens, auxuri police. And we're
- 5:21Speaker 1: in for Phil Henry, who is learning his lines. And
- 5:23Speaker 1: as I said to Margaret, it's great when someone has
- 5:27Speaker 1: a uh a career that you know, allows them to
- 5:30Speaker 1: do a lot of different things. As I said, whatever,
- 5:32Speaker 1: whatever bows your whatever, bloats your whatever, bloats your fo
- 5:36Speaker 1: whatever floats his boat, whatever floats, whatever floats his boat. No,
- 5:41Speaker 1: that's not it, you morons. And if I got to
- 5:43Speaker 1: keep interrupting you baboons, that's exactly what I'm gonna do.
- 5:46Speaker 1: It's it's whatever floats the boat, whatever floats the boat. Wait,
- 5:51Speaker 1: that's not right. It's whatever bloats your float. Your is
- 5:54Speaker 1: the keyword, whatever bloats your float. No, you guys are idiots.
- 5:59Speaker 1: What did you say to me? I said, you're an idiot, Margaret,
- 6:01Speaker 1: because it's whatever floats boat. It's not whatever bloats your
- 6:04Speaker 1: foat your whatever bloats your phone. Did you hear what
- 6:07Speaker 1: he just said? Okay, I want I'm gonna have to
- 6:09Speaker 1: call a haul to all this because it's getting to
- 6:11Speaker 1: be stupid. And mister Henry's going, oh boy, he's going
- 6:13Speaker 1: to be really pissed off. He's gonna be really pissed off.
- 6:17Speaker 1: We don't get, you know, get to where we want
- 6:19Speaker 1: to try and be. He you know. Basically what you're
- 6:21Speaker 1: trying to say, though, is whatever floats, the boat has
- 6:23Speaker 1: to be floated. Yes, okay, then whatever floats, and then
- 6:27Speaker 1: there's boat. It depends on what's Whose boat does it
- 6:30Speaker 1: belong to? Whose boat does it? I mean, I mean
- 6:33Speaker 1: whose boat is it? Oh? It's oh, I see what
- 6:36Speaker 1: you said. Yeah, whatever floats my boat. No, it's whatever.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I get it. It's whatever floats your boat. Are you sure? Yeah?
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm sure? God did you see that? Gentleman? God, Jada,
- 6:49Speaker 1: you need a handkerchiefs so you can blow some of
- 6:51Speaker 1: that snot into it. Look at that your nose is running.
- 6:53Speaker 1: You were shooting slaver. I was not shooting, no slaver.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I was trying to get to the pot of the
- 6:58Speaker 1: what it is we're trying to do here? Whatever floats
- 7:00Speaker 1: your boat, that's the there. There you go. That's what
- 7:02Speaker 1: we wanted to say. Now I forget what it was
- 7:04Speaker 1: we were talking about. It doesn't make any difference. You've
- 7:06Speaker 1: got Rick bolona on coming on, and Rick Boloona is
- 7:09Speaker 1: coming on, and Rick Blone's coming on. Hey, Rick, come
- 7:12Speaker 1: on in here. I talked to a fellow officer and
- 7:15Speaker 1: talk to you about law enforcement and what's going on
- 7:17Speaker 1: in New York the New York for ten Police, the
- 7:19Speaker 1: sister agency to the Citizens of Auxili Police in southern California. Like,
- 7:22Speaker 1: how you're doing. I'm doing real good. Thank you. So
- 7:25Speaker 1: mister Henry's in town and he hasn't any problems or
- 7:28Speaker 1: any has he No, mister Henry's doing real great. He's
- 7:31Speaker 1: got a verbo in Hell's kitchen, He's got a nice apartment,
- 7:35Speaker 1: and he is able to uh, you know, access to
- 7:39Speaker 1: move to the theater and through the rehearsal space. So
- 7:42Speaker 1: what is have you guys been acting in security for him?
- 7:45Speaker 1: We have some of warriors you called him sub commanders,
- 7:50Speaker 1: and the Citizens of Auxili Police and the New York
- 7:52Speaker 1: for ten Police we call him warriors. We've got three
- 7:55Speaker 1: warriors that are ready to do a prince in at
- 7:57Speaker 1: any minute. But this is not actual bodyguard duty because
- 8:01Speaker 1: they stay behind the Prince of the Principal and the
- 8:04Speaker 1: object of the principality. I don't know how to say it,
- 8:06Speaker 1: but they stay behind the guy. What we're trying to
- 8:09Speaker 1: protect by a buck a good two to three blocks?
- 8:11Speaker 1: All right, so you don't the person who's being protected,
- 8:14Speaker 1: like mister Henry, does he know that you guys are there?
- 8:17Speaker 1: Does he know that we're there? Yeah? I mean does
- 8:19Speaker 1: he know that you guys are Does he know that
- 8:21Speaker 1: you guys are doing bodyguard service? No, he does not know.
- 8:26Speaker 1: He doesn't know that. No, he doesn't know that we're there.
- 8:29Speaker 1: We are following at a distance about two to three blocks.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Two to three blocks. Well, maybe that's not it. How
- 8:36Speaker 1: long is a block? Are you kidding? You guys are
- 8:38Speaker 1: from New York City, don't know how long a block is. Well,
- 8:42Speaker 1: what I'm saying is now it's not two to three blocks.
- 8:44Speaker 1: It feels like it's like maybe three hundred feet. Isn't
- 8:47Speaker 1: a block one hundred feet? No, a block is from
- 8:49Speaker 1: one light to the next, one link to the next,
- 8:53Speaker 1: one light, not one lie one light. Well, I'm sorry,
- 8:57Speaker 1: one light to the next, and it's whatever bloats the float. Huh. Okay,
- 9:00Speaker 1: everybody just calmed the hell down because I got that wrong,
- 9:04Speaker 1: because they got that wrong me. We've got to keep
- 9:05Speaker 1: lean on it. Okay, I don't want to keep lean
- 9:07Speaker 1: on it. You don't want to keep one. I don't
- 9:09Speaker 1: want to keep leeing on it. You don't want to
- 9:12Speaker 1: keep leon on it. Not Leon. He doesn't want to
- 9:15Speaker 1: keep leaning on it. Oh, ok okay. Anyway, So how
- 9:20Speaker 1: are things going doing it? Protection duty? Mister Henry? Well,
- 9:24Speaker 1: so far, so good. Mister Henry begins his day generally
- 9:26Speaker 1: by walking over here to the Worldwide Plaza, which is
- 9:29Speaker 1: between I think it's between fiftieth and forty ninth Street,
- 9:34Speaker 1: and he gets himself a Starbucks coffee there in the
- 9:37Speaker 1: Worldwide Plaza Starbucks. Sometimes he goes to a restaurant called
- 9:40Speaker 1: a Bucking Dog to have breakfast, and sometimes he don't,
- 9:44Speaker 1: and it just depends. And you guys are there sort
- 9:46Speaker 1: of to do security for him at a distance. That's correct. Yeah,
- 9:50Speaker 1: we're at a distance. We stand sort of with our
- 9:54Speaker 1: hands fold in front of us. And some people wrote
- 9:57Speaker 1: in letters they were really stupid and crude, said, what
- 10:00Speaker 1: are you protecting your You know, your ball you're not
- 10:02Speaker 1: your balls, but you your genitals. Yeah, it looks like
- 10:05Speaker 1: you guys got your hands. No, that's the way people. Okay,
- 10:07Speaker 1: hold on for a minute. Now, what is that? That
- 10:10Speaker 1: could be one of our squad Uh what do we
- 10:13Speaker 1: call it? A cluster? Now you guess that's right. You
- 10:17Speaker 1: don't call you you You guys don't have the citizens
- 10:20Speaker 1: auxiliary police. They have they have like units. You guys
- 10:24Speaker 1: have what Yeah, we call those clusters. And again where
- 10:28Speaker 1: we fade. Where we do a fade, we do a
- 10:30Speaker 1: fade out, we do a fan out, and we do
- 10:32Speaker 1: it in a spread out. Yeah, you guys do the
- 10:34Speaker 1: fan out in the spread out. We do the prance out,
- 10:37Speaker 1: the prance and the prance about. Say that again, you
- 10:40Speaker 1: do the what we do this? We do the prance out,
- 10:43Speaker 1: prance in, prance about and prance out, prance out, No, no,
- 10:47Speaker 1: I mean prance out, prance in and then prance about.
- 10:51Speaker 1: And you you talked about the strength of the prance about,
- 10:54Speaker 1: Well the prance about is strong because you can say
- 10:58Speaker 1: I'm here and then and then the it's about is
- 11:01Speaker 1: you go from here to across the room. Then you're
- 11:03Speaker 1: on the ceiling, then you underneath the floor. What does
- 11:05Speaker 1: that mean you're on the ceiling, Well, it means you
- 11:08Speaker 1: can literally we have the ability to just stick to
- 11:11Speaker 1: the ceiling. What are you wait, you tell me out
- 11:13Speaker 1: like you're Spider Man or something like that. Not Spider Man.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I mean we're talking. We can just kind of hang
- 11:19Speaker 1: from the ceiling in a very delicate way, and then
- 11:22Speaker 1: then what we call is the scadadle, and that's a
- 11:25Speaker 1: very specific term used by the New York Pretend Police.
- 11:29Speaker 1: And what is the scadadle? The cadadle is when we're
- 11:32Speaker 1: clinging to the ceiling and then we creep and crawl
- 11:35Speaker 1: down the side of the building. What are you talking about? Man?
- 11:39Speaker 1: You guys sound like you're talking like you're talking about
- 11:41Speaker 1: your Spider Man or something. We're not Spider Man. What
- 11:44Speaker 1: are we scaring you? Something? Can't take a lot more.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You guys are scaring me. You start scaring me. How
- 11:50Speaker 1: come your voice cracks like your bitch number one here
- 11:52Speaker 1: on the on the on the Bitch's Right Show, on
- 11:55Speaker 1: the Bitch's Right Show. So that's how you respect women? Huh?
- 11:59Speaker 1: I didn't mean it for you, gra I'm talking to
- 12:01Speaker 1: I'm talking to Jay Sanders here as he don't give
- 12:03Speaker 1: me no respect. I'm giving you plenty of respect. We
- 12:05Speaker 1: need the bitches right show. I'm saying to you that
- 12:08Speaker 1: you guys are cling to a ceiling. Then then you
- 12:13Speaker 1: skid and then you crawl down the side. You call
- 12:15Speaker 1: it the skidaddle. That is the New York. Look. You
- 12:18Speaker 1: guys have your spread out, your spread in, you got
- 12:21Speaker 1: your your move in and move out. You got your
- 12:23Speaker 1: yellow rings slickers. We get to have what's ours. See,
- 12:26Speaker 1: and what we call it is the skidaddle. And I
- 12:29Speaker 1: will go ahead and I'll put two thumbs up in
- 12:31Speaker 1: the air and I'll go scattle, scadaddle, skidaddle, scadaddle. It's
- 12:35Speaker 1: a skidaddle alert. And that's going to all of the warriors.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Then spread out, cling to the ceiling and then scurried
- 12:41Speaker 1: down the side of the wall like the insects, like
- 12:44Speaker 1: they just I don't know insects. I don't know. If
- 12:46Speaker 1: you ever seen the out a Limit show where the
- 12:48Speaker 1: bugs from out of space, they had like faces like people.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I remember that when they were called like
- 12:53Speaker 1: they had some kind of name. Yeah, I don't know
- 12:55Speaker 1: what it was. That's we patted ourselves after them, like
- 12:59Speaker 1: your bugs from out us. Well no, not bugs fromout us.
- 13:03Speaker 1: But you know what I'm saying, No, I don't. We're
- 13:06Speaker 1: having a hard time with this. It's like we're it's
- 13:09Speaker 1: like we can skidattle and scurry down a wall and
- 13:11Speaker 1: go hey. It's very much based upon the uh, you know,
- 13:16Speaker 1: when trouble sees us coming, which is a citizens of
- 13:18Speaker 1: Auxiury Police concept. That's right. We you know, when we
- 13:22Speaker 1: see trouble, you know, trouble sees us when we see
- 13:25Speaker 1: trouble coming. I don't know how it goes. No, you're
- 13:27Speaker 1: talking about like when you know, you go to trouble,
- 13:29Speaker 1: you run a trouble. That's exactly right. Well, in the
- 13:32Speaker 1: New York Pretend police, we run at trouble too. We
- 13:35Speaker 1: scardaddle at it, you know, and so when we see trouble,
- 13:39Speaker 1: we skidaddle at it the same way you go at
- 13:42Speaker 1: trouble and we go yah, like that just the same
- 13:44Speaker 1: way what you guys do it. Yeah, I hope you
- 13:47Speaker 1: guys are scarier because we had a few online polls
- 13:51Speaker 1: saying are the citizens of Zury police and we go
- 13:53Speaker 1: at trouble? Is trouble afraid of us? And like fifty
- 13:56Speaker 1: percent said no, which I thought was just as it
- 14:00Speaker 1: was pretty rough. You know, the truth hurts either, truth hurts.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I think that poll was invalid because it probably was
- 14:06Speaker 1: our cranks. Well, We're here with Rick Blona of the
- 14:09Speaker 1: New York Pretend Police, and they have been a providing
- 14:13Speaker 1: bodyguard duty to Phil Henry here the last week, although
- 14:16Speaker 1: Phil has not been aware of that. No, we were
- 14:18Speaker 1: told that mister Henry would have gotten sort of claustrophobic
- 14:22Speaker 1: and upset if we allowed ourselves to be seen and
- 14:25Speaker 1: to be seen and to be noted as bodyguts. Well,
- 14:30Speaker 1: that's something I request, they say, just back off and
- 14:33Speaker 1: let mister Henry have his fun. Have you seen, as
- 14:35Speaker 1: long as mister Henry's not here, and I don't want
- 14:37Speaker 1: to embarrass him or anything, have you seen him do
- 14:39Speaker 1: anything unusual? What do you mean unusual? Well, I mean
- 14:41Speaker 1: as he visited places they're weird. I think that's invading
- 14:45Speaker 1: his privacy a little bit there, Jay, Well, no, I
- 14:47Speaker 1: don't think it is at all. I think mister Henry
- 14:48Speaker 1: is a public personality and I think we have very
- 14:50Speaker 1: right in the world. No, well, no, we haven't seen
- 14:53Speaker 1: him do nothing. I mean he stopped off at a restaurant,
- 14:56Speaker 1: one restaurant one day, he went to a Mexican restaurant.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Another day, he went and got caught a couple of
- 15:00Speaker 1: times at Starbucks. He's gone to the little corner market
- 15:03Speaker 1: about three four times. Okay, was he buying? As far
- 15:07Speaker 1: as we can tell, he's bought cheese, he bought bread,
- 15:10Speaker 1: he bought some gum he bought. Are you putting me
- 15:14Speaker 1: on or something? Sud Be quiet? See what he has
- 15:17Speaker 1: to say, Jay, He bought some gum he bought. He
- 15:22Speaker 1: bought some cokes, some diet cokes. Oh, and he bought
- 15:25Speaker 1: a bunch of apples. And he bought a bunch of all. Yeah. Right,
- 15:30Speaker 1: so that's Phil. Phil does like apples. What kind of apples?
- 15:33Speaker 1: He has this thing for green apples? He bought, like
- 15:36Speaker 1: I'd say it, with a course of it. I'd have
- 15:37Speaker 1: to get Warrior Milton. Warrior Milton, who was in our
- 15:42Speaker 1: third strand. We have different strands. We have Strand one,
- 15:45Speaker 1: Strand two, strand three, and Milton comes from Long Island,
- 15:48Speaker 1: Warrior Milton, and I'd have to call him. But he

- 16:35Speaker 1: We said, we're the New York Pretend Police and we'd
- 16:38Speaker 1: like to see some ID and he told us basically
- 16:41Speaker 1: to stick it. You're kidding, Is that what he said? Yeah?
- 16:44Speaker 1: He basically said, you know, you guys, are you like
- 16:46Speaker 1: Jay Sanders on the Uglier? And I said, I guess
- 16:48Speaker 1: you could say that. Yeah, he said, no, I will not, No,
- 16:50Speaker 1: I will not, No, I will not, And then he
- 16:51Speaker 1: walked on, Well did he said that because he knows

- 19:03Speaker 1: the greatest value online other than porn. Welcome back the
- 19:06Speaker 1: World Famous Phil Henry Show. It is Phil Henry and
- 19:09Speaker 1: I was, in point of fact, running some lines. Margaret.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I guess you know, being in the theater, you know
- 19:14Speaker 1: a little bit about this, right, Well, yes I do.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Phil I know what it's like to have to, you know,
- 19:21Speaker 1: memorize lines and the words and all of that. How
- 19:26Speaker 1: good were you at that, Margaret? I was great. I
- 19:29Speaker 1: had almost a photographic memory. I don't even know what
- 19:31Speaker 1: are we talking about here, because the theater that I'm
- 19:34Speaker 1: familiar with, I just went out on stage and sang
- 19:37Speaker 1: and went look at it. You know, what do you
- 19:40Speaker 1: mean memorized lines where you're in a play. Yes, I know, yes,
- 19:45Speaker 1: I had to memorize lines. But it must be different
- 19:48Speaker 1: because all I remember was going out in these wonderful
- 19:52Speaker 1: gowns and moving about and singing. And I don't know, Margaret,
- 19:57Speaker 1: were you ever really on the stage that back? Right?
- 20:01Speaker 1: I said, to take it back at this fist goes
- 20:03Speaker 1: right through your head and out that window behind your head. Margaret,
- 20:06Speaker 1: that was the most violent thing I've ever heard, I
- 20:08Speaker 1: swear to God. All right, I take it back God. Well,
- 20:11Speaker 1: it's a good question, Margaret. Were you how dare either
- 20:15Speaker 1: one of you suggest that I lie? Well, you're saying
- 20:17Speaker 1: you don't know what it is to memorize lines. I
- 20:20Speaker 1: was in musical theater. I don't know about plays and
- 20:23Speaker 1: drama and that kind of thing. Yes, I memorized lines,
- 20:26Speaker 1: but it seemed like it was something as simple as,
- 20:29Speaker 1: is miss Greystone ready yet? I you know, something like that,
- 20:33Speaker 1: is Miss Greystone ready yet? That reminds me of a song?
- 20:35Speaker 1: And then I'd break into some enchanted evening. Do do do? Do? Do?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Do you know? No? I don't. Oh look at film,
- 20:43Speaker 1: No I don't. I don't, Margaret, I don't know what
- 20:46Speaker 1: you're talking about. However, that having been said, but what
- 20:48Speaker 1: do you think you're, mister theater veteran? Now, no, I don't.
- 20:52Speaker 1: It's just kind of weird to say that you were
- 20:53Speaker 1: in a sort of theater where you don't know what
- 20:55Speaker 1: it is to never mind, it's it's fine. We got
- 20:59Speaker 1: our lines written on the back of a napkin. Okay,
- 21:01Speaker 1: here Margaret, you say this, then sing a song, then
- 21:03Speaker 1: say this, then sing a song. See what I'm saying.
- 21:06Speaker 1: So you're basically like the musical relief or something. I
- 21:09Speaker 1: don't like the word relief. It sounds like after someone
- 21:12Speaker 1: meets me, they've got to yeah, peel off like three
- 21:15Speaker 1: sheets of toilet paper. You're a real Let's wait a minute, Margaret, Wait,
- 21:19Speaker 1: well that's what that's basically what you said. I know,
- 21:22Speaker 1: I said that, I don't like it when he repeats
- 21:23Speaker 1: it back, Well, that's what you say, Yeah, bugs, what
- 21:27Speaker 1: is it? What's your name again? It's not bug. Bud's right,
- 21:30Speaker 1: he said, it sounds like you're a piece of two.
- 21:33Speaker 1: You know, it sounds like what Margaret, what you said was,
- 21:36Speaker 1: I know what I said. I just don't like it
- 21:39Speaker 1: when someone says to me that after someone meets me,
- 21:41Speaker 1: they've got to peel off three sheets of toilet paper.
- 21:46Speaker 1: There's Phil again. So what we should do here, Phil
- 21:50Speaker 1: is interview you, and Bud's here with a few questions.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I've got some Margaret, We really do want to talk
- 21:55Speaker 1: to you, Phil about how you're enjoying New York. Are
- 21:57Speaker 1: you enjoying New York very much? So? You know, what
- 21:59Speaker 1: about this dump that you're living in. I wouldn't say
- 22:02Speaker 1: it's a dump, it's a verbo, it's a what do
- 22:05Speaker 1: you mean dump? You've been complaining about it. Well, all
- 22:08Speaker 1: you've been doing is bellyaching about how small it is.
- 22:10Speaker 1: It's a studio apartment. Yes, it's a studio apartment. But
- 22:14Speaker 1: it has all the amenities. It has a you know,
- 22:17Speaker 1: a refrigerator, and let me guess, does it have a
- 22:20Speaker 1: flushing toilet. Yes, it does. Wow. Why that's some that's
- 22:23Speaker 1: pretty modern. You guys know what I'm talking about. Yeah,
- 22:25Speaker 1: but minster you know, you were belly aching, I should
- 22:27Speaker 1: say belly aching, but you was saying that you wish
- 22:30Speaker 1: you had a washing machine. Yeah, I wish I had
- 22:33Speaker 1: a washing machine. But it don't have a washing machine.
- 22:34Speaker 1: But there is a laundry service that I use. They
- 22:36Speaker 1: come and they pick up the clothes, they wash it,
- 22:38Speaker 1: and they drop it off. That's not cheap. No, it's
- 22:41Speaker 1: not cheap. But you know what, I throw my money
- 22:43Speaker 1: around anyway. So, now where do you eat? What are
- 22:45Speaker 1: the restaurants you like? There's a Peruvian joint halfway down
- 22:48Speaker 1: the block that I like. They have a sabic there.
- 22:50Speaker 1: And I didn't know anything about Peruvian food. I didn't
- 22:52Speaker 1: know that there was a special cuisine. But apparently Jackie
- 22:55Speaker 1: tells me Miami is crawling with Peruvian restaurants. What what
- 23:00Speaker 1: you talk about? That's what she said. She said, Miami's
- 23:03Speaker 1: got tons and tons of proving restaurants. She knew what
- 23:06Speaker 1: I was talking about. There's a couple of Mexican restaurants
- 23:09Speaker 1: that are great. There's two Italian places. I mean this
- 23:13Speaker 1: is not the best place to be living if you
- 23:14Speaker 1: want to lose weight. But you said you're doing a
- 23:17Speaker 1: lot of walking. I'm doing a lot of walking. You know.
- 23:19Speaker 1: We walk over to the rehearsal space, we walk over
- 23:21Speaker 1: to the theater. I had to walk up to iHeartMedia
- 23:23Speaker 1: the other day, which is about a fifteen minute walk.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I actually like it. I like walking. So what are
- 23:28Speaker 1: you gonna take the subway? The only reason why I
- 23:31Speaker 1: would take the subway is it down on fifteenth Street
- 23:35Speaker 1: is the SGI is the Buddhist center that I go to. Now, Phil,
- 23:38Speaker 1: let's talk about this Buddhism. I don't want to talk
- 23:40Speaker 1: about it, Okay, temistry and you ought to be you
- 23:44Speaker 1: should talk about it to convert people to Buddhism. Oh well,
- 23:47Speaker 1: you get out of here, man. Anyway, it's the what
- 23:50Speaker 1: are you looking at? I think it's very disappointing you're
- 23:52Speaker 1: talking about that way. Anyway, it's the Buddhist center down there,
- 23:55Speaker 1: and I go to and I you know, read up
- 23:57Speaker 1: on stuff, and that's about well, that's a fifteen and
- 24:00Speaker 1: I'm way up, you know, the opposite side of town.
- 24:03Speaker 1: So and then there is the CBS Pharmacy, which is
- 24:07Speaker 1: about the same distance. I mean, you know this place
- 24:09Speaker 1: is to walk to. Well, those sound like some really
- 24:11Speaker 1: fun scenic spots. Let's see the Buddhat Center, the pharmacy,
- 24:15Speaker 1: and iHeartMedia. Hey, I'm not exactly here man to go sightseeing.
- 24:19Speaker 1: You're not, No, Well, I would think you're in the
- 24:22Speaker 1: largest city. What are the largest cities in the world
- 24:24Speaker 1: and the largest city in the United States, And you
- 24:27Speaker 1: don't want to do any sightseeing. No, I don't do
- 24:29Speaker 1: want to do any sightseeing. Okay, I want to do
- 24:32Speaker 1: my thing. I want to enjoy my time off. Yeah,
- 24:35Speaker 1: with my friends. Don is my good buddy Don Older.
- 24:38Speaker 1: There's going to be in town on the twenty fifth.
- 24:40Speaker 1: My godson lives in a downtown financial district with his wife,
- 24:44Speaker 1: Mallory and Joe. And I'm going to have lunch with
- 24:47Speaker 1: my good friend Andy Cowboo is my producer at WIFD
- 24:51Speaker 1: in Miami for many years. Oh, Tory Ryder is coming
- 24:56Speaker 1: into town now. Tory Ryder is your friend. She's on
- 24:59Speaker 1: the air in Chicago. Yes, Terri was on the air
- 25:01Speaker 1: in Chicago and Portland, a lot of places. She's a
- 25:04Speaker 1: great radio talent. She's written a book called She Said
- 25:07Speaker 1: What which is kind of like her autobiography. Now you're
- 25:10Speaker 1: in that book. But she doesn't call you Phil. She
- 25:12Speaker 1: calls you something like schmuck. Right, what do you mean schmuck? Yeah,
- 25:16Speaker 1: but she calls you something Differentcy, she calls me something.
- 25:20Speaker 1: It doesn't call me schmuck. Well what does she call you?
- 25:22Speaker 1: I forget. I think maybe it's like Paul or Biff
- 25:25Speaker 1: or so. I don't know. Yeah, so it could be schmuck. No,
- 25:28Speaker 1: it could I don't believe it's schmuck. Anyway, Yeah, I
- 25:30Speaker 1: am in the book. That's a You should check out
- 25:32Speaker 1: Torry's book. She said, what, it's a great it's a
- 25:35Speaker 1: great chronicle and journal of the the travails and travels
- 25:39Speaker 1: of a woman in broadcasting, a high profile personality like Turian,
- 25:44Speaker 1: which she's endured and what she's enjoyed. But anyway, and
- 25:48Speaker 1: she was also in the Phil Henry documentary. Ah, there's
- 25:52Speaker 1: something you've been avoiding, and we'd like to talk a
- 25:54Speaker 1: little bit about that. That is the Henri documentary, which
- 25:57Speaker 1: is now streaming Ladies and Gentlemen on two. Be all right, Yeah, yeah,
- 26:04Speaker 1: yes it is. Yes, Phil hasn't mentioned that at all,
- 26:07Speaker 1: and that is available in Canada. I think it's available
- 26:09Speaker 1: in Canada. The reason why I say that my cousins
- 26:11Speaker 1: have asked me where they can see it, and I
- 26:12Speaker 1: think it is. Yes. Terry Ryder is featured as an
- 26:15Speaker 1: interview subject in that In that documentary, is is Bill Hayter,
- 26:20Speaker 1: Henry Rowlins. There's a lot of great, great people who
- 26:23Speaker 1: were interviewed. And I had no idea how Patrick got
- 26:26Speaker 1: these folks to sit down and talk about the Phil
- 26:29Speaker 1: Henry Shield, but I was very very grateful. Yeah, Toury's
- 26:31Speaker 1: in that as well. So and I'm gonna have lunch
- 26:33Speaker 1: with her dinner. No, she's gonna come to the play,
- 26:37Speaker 1: all right. And then one more than my stepdaughter Katherine,
- 26:42Speaker 1: who is a flyer. She's a flyer. She's a flight
- 26:44Speaker 1: attendant for Amigo. What is it, Yeah, it's Amigo Airlines.
- 26:49Speaker 1: What's Amigo Airlines? Oh, I'm sorry, it's Alaska. That's exactly right, Yeah,
- 26:54Speaker 1: Alaska Airlines. She flies. She's going to come into town
- 26:57Speaker 1: and see the play. So you know, I'm going to
- 26:59Speaker 1: be kind of nervous with all these people that I
- 27:01Speaker 1: don't watch in the play. But and how have the
- 27:03Speaker 1: rehearsal has been going very good? What. I don't know what. Yeah,
- 27:07Speaker 1: they've been going really good and we got a great
- 27:09Speaker 1: director and Mike Keller and Tom Alpers the writer, and
- 27:13Speaker 1: Christine Blackburn's our producer, and a great, great cast of people.
- 27:17Speaker 1: So we'll let you know when when it's October the ninth.
- 27:20Speaker 1: You know you're you're kind of tight lipped about this play. No,
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm not, man, I just don't know what else to say.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I don't want to give too much stuff away, but
- 27:27Speaker 1: we are very very grateful if people want to come
- 27:28Speaker 1: and see it. So that's Phil Henry in the Pitch,
- 27:31Speaker 1: starting October ninth in New York off Broadway. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, Jesus,
- 27:42Speaker 1: World Famous Phil Henry Show is executive produced by me
- 27:44Speaker 1: Phil Henry for Siempri Incorporated. Alrights reserved on iHeart Podcasts.
- 27:49Speaker 1: This is General Kaylin Shaw. Yes, so what he Well,
- 27:54Speaker 1: I said it before you said, this is a Bud Dickman.
- 27:56Speaker 1: All right, this is a Bud Dickman. It don't matter yet,
- 27:59Speaker 1: too late, it's not hard to relation
