- 0:40Protect him. I guarantee you that guarantee.
- 0:43Look at me. Let's go.
- 0:49Let's go. Good morning, ladies and
- 1:08gentlemen. You're watching The Final Time
- 1:12out here on military broadcast radio.
- 1:15I'm your host HG, and we are in the the Fantasy Football Frenzy
- 1:23show today. I got a lot coming up for you.
- 1:27I'm going to give you a round by round breakdown based on ADP of
- 1:32who I think are some of the best and worst picks.
- 1:34We're going to do a couple of mock drafts.
- 1:36I've got my predictions for the top ten players at each position
- 1:40in fantasy football for the year, so stay tuned for all of
- 1:44that more. You're going to dominate your
- 1:47leagues with all this fantasy advice you're getting today.
- 1:51But there is some other important Sports News going on
- 1:55that we're going to cover and talk about before we jump into
- 1:59the fantasy football frenzy. So we'll just get it right into.
- 2:03With college football making its triumphant return this Saturday,
- 2:10August 29th, we've got a couple of powerful matchups that are
- 2:15worth emphasizing. North Carolina versus TCU,
- 2:18that's going to be the game in Ireland, the Dublin Classic.
- 2:25Looking forward to that one. It's it's going to be
- 2:31interesting to see how North Carolina looks in year 2 under
- 2:35Bill Belichick. TCU probably good preview of how
- 2:40they're going to look this season.
- 2:42I mean, they lost a lot of players through the transfer
- 2:44portal, including their starting quarterback Josh Hoover over the
- 2:48Indiana now. So how did they reef, replace
- 2:53and refill talent? What was their their outlook
- 2:58going to look like in a pretty tough Big 10 conference coming
- 3:02up here? We've also got NC State and
- 3:06Virginia, two ACC teams. I'm not clear enough if if this
- 3:15one is going to be one of those games that doesn't actually
- 3:18counts towards your conference record.
- 3:21They had a game like this last year, I think it was at NC State
- 3:25was one of the teams involved where they were playing a
- 3:28conference opponent, but in the non conference in one of those
- 3:31weird scheduling quirks. But still, we'll give us our
- 3:35first little preview of the some of the power dynamics in the ACC
- 3:38Virginia, the runners up last year going to be a different
- 3:46landscape in the in the ACC this year.
- 3:50Are they going to be able to pull this off?
- 3:54Chandler Morris no longer there. So it's going to be interesting
- 3:58to see who's going to take over that starting quarterback roll
- 4:06for the Cavaliers. Those are some 2.
- 4:10Those are two really exciting matchups and the power for
- 4:14between top power four teams. We've got some interesting group
- 4:17of five matchups for the state taking on New Mexico State, one
- 4:22of the hopeful teams to or one of the one of the better, at
- 4:29least on paper pre season looking teams for the the power
- 4:336. So for the state should still
- 4:36win that game. But it'll be interesting to see
- 4:38what New Mexico State has and to, I think this will give us a
- 4:42good, good idea of how good that team's going to be in, you know,
- 4:47if they're going to be able to make some noise in their
- 4:51conference or not. I'm also looking at Memphis,
- 4:56UNLV. Those are going to be two
- 4:59potential playoff hopefuls out of their respective conferences.
- 5:03I mean, UNLV, their best chance of making the playoff is just
- 5:08running the table and dominating the Mountain West.
- 5:10I I'm thinking like one loss, maybe put some in there and then
- 5:17Memphis, one of the favorites in a really good American
- 5:22conference, probably the best Power 6 conference of them all.
- 5:27So for this season, so it's going to be that's going to be a
- 5:31fantastic match up. An Allegiant Stadium will be
- 5:35playing on the Raiders home field.
- 5:37That game will be on Fox. Really good match up to watch
- 5:41out for there. Couple of teams also will be
- 5:45making their FBS debut that day. So Sacramento State traveling to
- 5:52Eastern Michigan, fellow Mac opponent there that they'll be
- 5:56taking on. So we get to see our first look
- 5:59at SAC State in the FBS. And North Dakota State will be
- 6:04hosting Jacksonville State for their very first FBS debut.
- 6:12A team that I thought you know was they've been dominating and
- 6:16running the table in the FCS for years.
- 6:18So we'll see them potentially with all the, the new year, new
- 6:25team eligibility restrictions gone.
- 6:28I, I don't think a bowl game is off the table.
- 6:31They could be one of the top teams in the Mountain West.
- 6:35Who knows? Maybe their season goes so well
- 6:37that they're even they're in playoff talks.
- 6:39It's they've got a great program that the code, the both of the
- 6:43code the state schools have been really dominant in the FCS for a
- 6:48while and I wouldn't be surprised to see North Dakota
- 6:52State win 910 games this year. Then their last other two
- 6:58matchups for week 0. USC is probably going to
- 7:02absolutely slaughter San Jose State, their team, I think in an
- 7:09already very stacked big 10 or our team.
- 7:13I think a number of people are sleeping on his USCI mean you've
- 7:17got the Ducks, Ohio State and Indiana are there.
- 7:21Obviously Michigan always a big a big time school to watch out
- 7:28for, but Jordan or Jade Mayava rather coming back for another
- 7:33year. They did lose Malachi Lemon to
- 7:36the NFL draft, but I like what they've got on the defensive
- 7:40side of the ball. Still.
- 7:41I think they retained a good amount of the starters there.
- 7:45The line is looking really good and they've got a good a good
- 7:52amount of talented backs on the roster.
- 7:56So cleaning up Wayman Jordan, the senior who's going to be
- 8:01probably getting the start for most of the year, I think USC
- 8:07could be a very good team and I wouldn't be surprised if they're
- 8:12one of the top offenses in the country.
- 8:16I think they could really be a team that's scoring like 35A
- 8:19game against cuz they they really are able to put up a lot
- 8:25of points. And then we also get to get a
- 8:28little preview of Hawaii, who I think is that third team to
- 8:33really watch there in the Mountain West, especially now
- 8:37with the Boise State, San Diego State gone.
- 8:39Like Hawaii pulled out a really great season last year, retain a
- 8:44good amount of that roster. I think that could be one of the
- 8:49bigger big problems for UNLV. We're going to kind of get to
- 8:52see the top three teams, I would say in the Mountain West all
- 8:57debut on Week 0. So then my question for the
- 9:04viewers is Week 0 the legit opening weekend or this is still
- 9:11feel like just an appetizer before the full schedule starts
- 9:15on September 5th? I I think there's a lot of great
- 9:20matchups. There's really only one like
- 9:22kind of man matchup and that's, you know, the 14th ranked team
- 9:26in the country hosting San Jose State.
- 9:28The rest of these, I think are all intriguing matchups that all
- 9:34will have a with some teams that are all going to be very
- 9:38relevant come November, December that we'll be seeing playing in
- 9:41bowl games. So we're going to get to get a
- 9:44real good test of some of the power dynamics in in the group
- 9:49of 6 and see who might be some surprise couple of surprise
- 9:54teams that may be out of the the power for another College
- 9:59football news, the SEC and Big 10 have implemented rules to
- 10:05stop professionals from returning to college.
- 10:09How we saw that with the big two were Daquan Wright and Xavion
- 10:15Lewis, two former Ole Miss players that's had their
- 10:20eligibility reinstated due to the new rule that the NCAA
- 10:23passed granting players a fifth year of eligibility from the
- 10:3020/22/21 season. Something like that.
- 10:35And they decided to come back to college, follow their old coach,
- 10:40Lane Kiffin, to LSU. But the Big 10 set the the
- 10:47precedent, adopting rule barring athletes who appeared on NFL
- 10:50rosters that the SEC followed suit with an even broader
- 10:54restriction involving athletes from the NFLNBA and WNBA.
- 11:02So we're seeing, I think it was a good intentioned with what the
- 11:07NCAA was trying to do with this rule, but it wasn't really well
- 11:11executed. Yeah, obviously we're seeing
- 11:13some of these pros coming back. So with the MIL money already
- 11:19making college athletics resemble more professional
- 11:22sports, where does eligibility, where should eligibility
- 11:27actually? And that's the the question I
- 11:31want to only hear your guys's thoughts on it.
- 11:35I do think base rule, I mean, if you signed to a pro roster,
- 11:40you're just you are eligible to rejoin college sports.
- 11:47So I think the the NCAA needs to do a better job of also clearly
- 11:52laying out when they what their their plans are for players.
- 11:57Obviously it's tough for these guys.
- 11:58You know, would they have gone to the draft had they known they
- 12:02were going to get another year of eligibility or what?
- 12:07They've gone back and played. We're going to we'll, we're
- 12:13going to see how this, the saga shakes out.
- 12:15I mean, there's still, you know, a number of leagues that don't
- 12:18have any of these restrictions. So, OK, they can't play in the
- 12:21SEC, can't play in the Big 10. Maybe they go to the Big 12.
- 12:25ACC is looking for these guys. One of the Richer power or Group
- 12:31of 6 schools goes out and approaches these guys.
- 12:37That's going to be the sag is far from over.
- 12:45We're going to we're going to see more more fallout from this
- 12:51as the college basketball season approaches.
- 12:56It's I don't think there's there really isn't a great answer.
- 13:01I do tend to lean more towards of the, the side of the
- 13:04athletes. I, I don't, you know, like I
- 13:08don't want these guys to, you know, yeah, I want, you want
- 13:12them to have every opportunity that they can to compete and to
- 13:17potentially land a, a good contract in the pros.
- 13:24So that's it. It's it's tricky.
- 13:29It's a definitely a tight rope to walk.
- 13:34We're going to I'll keep monitoring the story closely
- 13:37though, moving over to the NFL. Speaking of pro sports, the cut
- 13:42weekend is approaching. We have 32 teams must reduce 90
- 13:49play rosters, 90 player rosters, 253 by Sunday, August 30th at
- 13:556:00 PM Eastern. So we're going to see roughly
- 13:591184 players potentially lose roster spots.
- 14:06Some of those guys will definitely come back to the
- 14:11practice squad. Little minor trade with the The
- 14:15Giants are sending Josh as they do that to the Kansas City
- 14:21Chiefs, while Washington's going to be signing veteran tackle DJ
- 14:27Humphrey after Laramie Tonsil tore his tricep.
- 14:33The Patriots trade the Keyshawn booty to the Houston Texans for
- 14:38Jayden Higgins. So I feel feel for Keyshawn man
- 14:46and for Patriots fans because they really finally they drafted
- 14:49and had developed a pretty good wide receiver.
- 14:52Obviously, I know they brought in A.J.
- 14:54Brown, they brought in Romeo Dobbs.
- 14:56I think Booty could have still been a big part of that offense.
- 15:00But another weapon for CJ Stroud down there in Houston, Booty
- 15:04alongside the Nico Collins, you can get Tank Dell back operating
- 15:08of the slot. We'll see how he looks coming
- 15:11off of the Torrent Achilles injury he suffered 2 years ago
- 15:15and the divisional round against the Chiefs.
- 15:18So and your interesting trade there on I'm not really quite
- 15:24sure why the the Patriots wanted to move on from booty.
- 15:28The only thing is he's a bigger bodied receiver can definitely
- 15:31plays more on the outside. I think maybe they want Dobbs
- 15:36and Brown as you're 1 and 2 on the outside and they didn't feel
- 15:41like booty would play well out of the slot.
- 15:44So, you know, you got more slot guys like the Mario Douglas
- 15:47there, but I feel like Dobbs could have played out of the
- 15:50slot and you could have kept booty on the outside, get 2
- 15:52really talented receivers. That's your your Y&Z spot there.
- 15:57But that's just me. And we think of the interesting
- 16:03veteran players could be cut or traded before we move to the
- 16:09deadline. I'm not really, I don't really
- 16:13think any vets that their household names are going to be
- 16:17cut. I mean, you might have some
- 16:18majority in guys that have just been floating around.
- 16:23But if you're an established veteran in this league, even if
- 16:26you're not going to be starting, you will probably you'll
- 16:29probably make a roster just for the the experience and the
- 16:32leadership you can give to those other guys.
- 16:34And the fact that you can still today, you know, even if you're
- 16:38not playing as many snaps, you can still go out there on the
- 16:40field and make an impact. I'm looking, though, at the
- 16:45veteran player who, where is he going to sign?
- 16:48Because yeah, he's on the other side of 30 now, but he's still
- 16:53one of the top tier receivers in the league.
- 16:55He's got elite speed. Tyreek Hill still not on the
- 16:58roster. Where is he going to go?
- 17:02I want to know what you guys think.
- 17:06By Denver Broncos We're going to have one final edition this
- 17:10Friday night at 7:00 PM Mountain it'll be our pre season, the
- 17:15finale here in the Mile High city.
- 17:18We'll be hosting the Minnesota Vikings open the pre season with
- 17:22the 2027 to 7 victory over Atlanta, then lost 33 to 13 in
- 17:26Green Bay. But the important thing from
- 17:30those games for both, for both of those games, starters look
- 17:33really good and OneDrive Bonex looked really good, was moving
- 17:41around on that ankle, had a great hook up to Jalen Waddle.
- 17:48It was Waddle's only catch of the evening, I believe.
- 17:55But one, one catch for 35 yards on 3rd down and six.
- 18:01Beau went 6:00 and 9:00 for 76 yards and the touchdown and he
- 18:04dropped right into the bread basket of RJ Harvey.
- 18:10Yeah. Also I think the the defense for
- 18:14the most part, the starters look pretty good against the the
- 18:17Packers starting unit. Alex Singleton kind of got to he
- 18:23had a pretty bad mistake, which makes me a little nervous about
- 18:26him and pass coverage again where he just completely left
- 18:30the the middle of the field on the running back choice or a
- 18:35choice route just wide open and the resulted in the walk in
- 18:39touchdown. But Riley Moss did sustain a rib
- 18:43injury, but it doesn't sound like it's anything serious,
- 18:49which is good. Starting unit looks really good.
- 18:53We ran the ball pretty well. Bow that was the most important
- 18:58thing was moving good. He was accurate with his passes
- 19:03and just had a good command of the offense while he was out
- 19:06there. So don't really mind the loss
- 19:08that much. The starting unit looked good.
- 19:11Gives me a lot of hope for this season.
- 19:16All right, shifting gears a little bit over to the MLB wild
- 19:22card. Pressure is getting serious.
- 19:24Some of the stories from around the MLB last night.
- 19:29Arizona erased A4 run deficit and beat the Cubs 5 to 4 on
- 19:34rookie Ryan Walt Schmidt's two run walk off Homer.
- 19:39The Diamondbacks are now only one game behind the scene, Diego
- 19:42for the National League Final Wild card in the position.
- 19:48San Diego just dropped the game last night.
- 19:51Pittsburgh defeated them and they one to nothing Defensive
- 19:56battle behind the six scoreless innings from Paul Skeens and
- 20:00O'Neill Cruz's 9th inning Homer. The Dodgers fell to the Atlanta
- 20:06Braves and what could potentially be a postseason
- 20:09preview, what I think could be the NLCS preview.
- 20:16Atlanta gets the V4 to three. Kansas City Royals.
- 20:23They don't look now. They've won nine straight games.
- 20:28A little bit a little too late though, but I guess, you know,
- 20:32rather late than never. They're kind of out of it.
- 20:35They're still dead last in the AL Central, but nine
- 20:38game-winning streak, nothing to scoff at.
- 20:42The Orioles are. I mean, they're keeping their
- 20:45faint hopes alive out of the potential playoff berth.
- 20:53They crushed St. Louis last night, 13 to 1.
- 21:00So yeah, which one of these wild card teams do you think is going
- 21:04to be built to survive in September, though?
- 21:06The Padres, the Diamondbacks? Or is it going to be someone
- 21:10else? You look at their top teams
- 21:14around the each league like the Dodgers, the Brewers, the
- 21:21Braves, and you're pretty, you feel pretty confident that one
- 21:25of those 2 is going to be running into the other.
- 21:32Even in the the American League, you know, whichever team comes
- 21:36out of the East, I think it's probably going to be two, maybe
- 21:42even 3 potentially with this wild card race.
- 21:46All three of those teams have really shown that they're,
- 21:49they're capable of at least advancing around.
- 21:55I look at in this, even in the Central, the White Sox I think
- 21:59are out can absolutely go deep. I don't have as much faith in
- 22:04the Guardians, but they can probably they could probably win
- 22:08the series in the West. I the AL West, Houston Astros,
- 22:17Texas Rangers. Neither squad really showed me
- 22:22the that they can maybe the Mariners sneak back in there.
- 22:27Those all feel like kind of whoever wins that one, it feels
- 22:32very first round loss. You know, even with the the home
- 22:35advantage. I mean, they're going to be just
- 22:38better wild card teams that that get there.
- 22:42Me personally, I think that the one team, if you're looking at
- 22:45any team that's going to be a potential wild card, it's the
- 22:49Chicago Cubs. They just have the the
- 22:54unfortune, the unfortunate circumstances of having those
- 22:58Brewers in their in their their division and just being in the
- 23:06way. But the more competitively, you
- 23:08know, you move the Cubs over to the to the American and they're
- 23:13the two they're the two seed, right, Like the National
- 23:18League's just very top heavy. There's a lot of a lot of talent
- 23:23here. Yeah.
- 23:26I I think it's that you're looking at, if you're looking at
- 23:29a wild card. So shocks and people make a
- 23:30deeper and they would be Chicago.
- 23:32They'd have the best chance at doing that.
- 23:37Yeah. Let me know what your thoughts
- 23:38are. And that we're going to now
- 23:39shift over to the other, another league, the WNBA.
- 23:46We have all eight playoff teams set.
- 23:49It's going to be Minnesota, Las Vegas, Golden State, Indiana,
- 23:54Atlanta, New York, Washington and Dallas, so that is it's
- 24:01going to be the field. We're just waiting on the season
- 24:05and to see how seating may change.
- 24:11Dallas captured the final berth by defeating Portland 96 to 78,
- 24:16Page Becker's and Jessica Shepherd combining for 43 points
- 24:21to put that game away. Minnesota owns the best record,
- 24:27but Golden State's defense has made the second year Valkyries A
- 24:31legitimate contender. You have the Las Vegas Aces with
- 24:36the best player in the world. You've got both the Atlanta
- 24:40Dream and Indiana Fever with elite backcourt duos.
- 24:45You have a shining second year player, Paige Becker's in
- 24:49Dallas. The Liberty have that
- 24:52championship caliber team, that core that won the championship
- 24:58just two years ago still there. Who is the most dangerous team
- 25:05in the field? For me, it's still Minnesota.
- 25:10I got to give it to the Lynx. I wouldn't leave the Aces far,
- 25:19far off behind there. I think it's going to be one of
- 25:25those two to me. You've just got the you've got
- 25:28the the championship pedigree. I mean, these are teams that
- 25:32have been on these deep runs year after year.
- 25:38I think Minnesota, I mean, they addressed their Achilles heel
- 25:44and their biggest crutch beautifully in the draft.
- 25:47And Olivia Miles has, I mean, her poise as rookie to come in
- 25:52and just run an offense for this team, that is a ton of pressure
- 25:58on a rookie player. And she hasn't shield away from
- 26:01that at all or, or wilted under that pressure.
- 26:03She's got a team leading 20 points per game.
- 26:09She dishes out the rock, you know, nearly six assists per
- 26:14game and she keeps the turnovers low.
- 26:16That's the big thing for somebody that has the ball,
- 26:21facilitates the offense so much. They only have around 3
- 26:24turnovers a game. It's a good assists, the
- 26:25turnover ratio. Minnesota just as a team in
- 26:29general doesn't really turn the ball over a lot.
- 26:32They're just, I mean, they're very professional there, for
- 26:35lack of better word. They they clock in, they get to
- 26:41work, they know everyone knows their assignments, their roles,
- 26:46they get their victory, they clock out, they go home.
- 26:50They don't have a lot of they're not really caught up in a lot of
- 26:53this any other off the court drama or anything like that.
- 26:57Like this team, they've come up short a number of times in the
- 27:03past. It's there's a hunger there and
- 27:08you know where they've got the fees of Collier injuries have
- 27:14sort of slowed down the past two seasons.
- 27:16But I mean, I think like how they're other peak, she was
- 27:19right there with like Asia Wilson in terms of dominance.
- 27:24Kayla McBride is an elite scoring guard there.
- 27:30And like now she's really just like with Miles facilitating
- 27:36running the half court offense for the most part.
- 27:38Like she's really able to just find her spots and pressure the
- 27:43rim, shoot her her threes and she's doing that at 42% this
- 27:50year. She's getting to the line to get
- 27:54them out, knocking down those a lot.
- 27:56So that's just even you look at the depth.
- 28:00I mean, you have like need a coffee strong player coming off
- 28:06the bench. They don't really run too deep
- 28:10of a rotation tube, but they it works out for him.
- 28:17Well, they do have a sorry, they do have a deep rotation, but
- 28:22they just they they're really able to keep their starters out
- 28:27there for a lot of minutes and they're just able to cycle
- 28:30through and usually have a starter on the floor.
- 28:33It's it'll be tough to beat Minnesota, but like I said,
- 28:37you've got the aces best player in the world championship
- 28:42caliber team as well. They still they have a pretty
- 28:46good back court duo and Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray as well.
- 28:51So those are the the two for me. I wonder.
- 28:56I love Golden State's defense. This is a still pretty young,
- 29:01younger and experienced team. We'll see that.
- 29:07That's just always my thing. Like we, I want to see how they
- 29:10look under those bright playoff lights.
- 29:14All right now a little final Sports News the Serena Williams
- 29:18returns to the US Open Serena returned to Arthur Ashe Stadium
- 29:24and partnered with Carlos Alcaraz and the revamped mixed
- 29:29double S events. They won their opener before
- 29:31losing in the quarter of the finals.
- 29:34The new competition uses shorter matches, features single major
- 29:39single stars, and awards $1 million to the Championship
- 29:45team. So cool little revamp format
- 29:50there. Awesome to just see 2 legends of
- 29:53the game like that get out there on the court and play together.
- 29:58It was a good time. Enjoyed watching that.
- 30:02All right, we've reached the bottom of the hour.
- 30:07That's going to be the sports update portion of the day and
- 30:11when we come back, it's the fantasy football frenzy.
- 30:15It's going to be all fantasy football for the rest of the
- 30:18show. It's that time of the year.
- 30:20It's my favorite time of the year.
- 30:22Can't wait to do. I got drafts coming up next
- 30:25weekend of the coming weekend with the weekend after that and
- 30:32I just can't wait, folks. I really can't wait.
- 30:34We're going to dive into strategies, who the target, who
- 30:37to avoid, all that more coming up here final time out.
- 34:50The station where our veterans voices are heard.
- 34:53MBR talk. Hey, thanks for supporting our
- 34:56channel by watching and listening.
- 35:07Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to the final time out
- 35:11fantasy football frenzy. Go just going to jump right into
- 35:17this man. I got the list pulled up for us.
- 35:21Got a screen share for everyone here to see.
- 35:24It is the ADP rankings from Draft Sharks.
- 35:36I feel like this is pretty close to while a lot of the other ADP
- 35:40lists that I'm seeing that just stands for average draft
- 35:44position. We're going to be taking a look
- 35:46at a redraft type league with standard PPR redraft just being
- 35:51the redraft every year. But good tool if you do are in
- 35:56different type of league, but that's pretty standard one.
- 35:58But yeah, we've got dynasty rookie, best ball.
- 36:01Are you going to get non PPR half PPR tied in premium
- 36:04individual defense player, all that.
- 36:07So we can also do just and shift by that.
- 36:10But mine, my expertise is more in the the redraft and PPI type.
- 36:16So and then we're looking at one quarterback.
- 36:20You can also change super flex, which then surprisingly enough,
- 36:24you know, look who jumps all the way up there to Josh Allen
- 36:29sentences sleeper. You go all platforms.
- 36:32If we want, we'll do that. Actually, we'll just see what it
- 36:36says on all platforms. So yeah, let's let's fire it up.
- 36:41So looking at the guys 12 team leagues that would be going
- 36:45going in the first round. All right, this is where this
- 36:56one we might not see. I'd be surprised if one then
- 37:01jumps up there, but wouldn't be the most ridiculous thing to
- 37:06see. You got the the top five, top 6
- 37:10Christian Catherine JSN like it's what they there isn't
- 37:14really a bad pick in first in the first round.
- 37:19Maybe some risky ones would be like McCaffrey, like his injury
- 37:22history. He does also tend to be more
- 37:27injured one season then after he has a really good one where he
- 37:30stays mostly healthy. What I've kind of know this with
- 37:34him so but his past catching up side is so good.
- 37:40I like Justin Jefferson should have a big bounce back year.
- 37:43My only concern with him is like if something happens to Kyler
- 37:46Murray. I have seen in some crazy worlds
- 37:51Devon a chance sneak up into the first round if that was the
- 37:56case. No, I, I don't really.
- 38:02I mean, he's going to get a ton of touches.
- 38:04We know that, but it's a bad offensive line.
- 38:06It's a team that's going to be trailing a lot.
- 38:09He's going to see a lot of stacked boxes.
- 38:11He'll still be a good player, but you're going to just have to
- 38:17really draft well behind him. He can be, he's out of anybody
- 38:23in the first round. I think he's got the, the
- 38:25potential for the most type of like dud games.
- 38:28If you want to look at some really safe options outside of
- 38:33the top like 6 players. I mean, boom, right here, Almond
- 38:37Raw, CD Land, they're in great offenses.
- 38:42They've got a good quarterback there.
- 38:43The number one option there, Almond Raw has the benefit of,
- 38:48you know, Jameer Gibbs being there.
- 38:50So it's very difficult to defer attention away from Jameer
- 38:55Gibbs. So it's just like he can't see a
- 38:59lot of double teams, you know, safeties might have to come down
- 39:02and cover no lead pass catching back like Gibbs more so.
- 39:07And he's just he's a favorite target of Matthew Stafford.
- 39:10He always has a lot of touchdowns.
- 39:13Very safe pick. Same thing with like CD #1
- 39:15target in the good offense. He's got George Pickens on the
- 39:18other side. There's he's got the benefit of
- 39:19not being can't be double teamed all the time.
- 39:23And then my other, I think safest pick in round one that's
- 39:27outside the top 6. James Cook led the league in
- 39:30rushing last year. Touchdown machine, Josh Allen's
- 39:35quarterback, so he's not going to see the top like a lot of
- 39:38stacked boxes throughout the season.
- 39:41The Bills have a good old line and they like running the
- 39:43football. They like establishing the run.
- 39:46So plenty of volume there. And there's no new backfield
- 39:49competition for him there. So moving on to the Round 2
- 39:55range to be 13 through 24, some of the guys that I might stay
- 40:04away from again, like a Chan actually don't hate them as much
- 40:10like as a round two pick if you can get like a real either.
- 40:14If you get like an elite running back and you're going for like
- 40:19A2 running back strategy, like let's say you take you get cook
- 40:22and then you go and take a Chan as your RB2.
- 40:26I don't hate that. I just have some concerns if
- 40:29he's your RB1, some other guys that I'm a little concerned
- 40:35about. Ashton Gente boy, if he's going
- 40:38back in Round 2, that's that's just real expensive for a guy
- 40:43who we don't know when he's going to play, what the ankle
- 40:46injury is going to look like there.
- 40:48Brock Bowers, Josh Allen are probably going to be top three
- 40:55at their position. I mean, I've I'm predicting them
- 40:58to be the QB one and tight end 1.
- 41:01So you might be like, well, why don't you like drafting those
- 41:03guys? I just think you're passing on
- 41:07really great wide receiver running back talent to take
- 41:11these guys. I mean, maybe if you've got the
- 41:13last pick and you go Allen and then you can draft like don't go
- 41:18to Trey McBride, but you can draft like Allen and then
- 41:22somebody else at the turn. I don't hate that.
- 41:26But if Alan's going like if somebody else is going to draft
- 41:29Alan like up here in like the the 22 to like 19 range, just
- 41:36let him in. Like same with like Brock
- 41:37Bowers, like if any, if he's going like before, like 2324,
- 41:43you can live with that. I I only really like those guys
- 41:45who you can get them at the turn that like, I mean, there is
- 41:49still so much great talent here in the second round.
- 41:55I'm not super huge on Nico to actually, but you look at like
- 41:59Saquon Barkley, he's still going to be great.
- 42:01I mean these two guys I absolutely love, like Kenneth
- 42:04Walker, the chiefs signed no do like they they signed them to be
- 42:09his offense. He's got no competition in that
- 42:11backfield. They're really lacking on pass
- 42:15catchers on the outside and then like your main competitions and
- 42:18very old Travis Kelsey and you have Rashid Rice, Xavier worthy
- 42:24guys who off the field issues kind of get injured a lot.
- 42:28I mean, the he is going to be a workhorse in the Kansas City.
- 42:33I mean, he could see north of 400 touches this year.
- 42:37And that's right. Also in pass catching, like he
- 42:39will be catching passes. A.J.
- 42:41Brown still average like 1000 yards a season despite having
- 42:47arguably the best wide receiver to win football and Devonte
- 42:51Smith now his main competition. I mean, they traded away one of
- 42:54the better guys that would have been competition for him and
- 42:58eight and Kayshawn Booty. So it's Romeo Dobbs, like Hunter
- 43:01Henry, Demario Douglas, and I think he got a better
- 43:06quarterback. So love that.
- 43:11George Pickens. I mean, you just can't go wrong
- 43:13with him. Same reasons for CD Lamb.
- 43:15Two guys that could be league winners, Boone, Chase Brown,
- 43:18Amari and Hampton. Chase Brown, I think over the
- 43:21last season and 1/2 has been averaging like 18 fantasy points
- 43:25a game. It's still Semaj, AP Ryan and I
- 43:29don't even know who the RB 3 is back there for, for Cincinnati.
- 43:34So I mean, there's there's really no competition for Chase
- 43:39Brown there in that backfield. He's going to get a lot of
- 43:41carries. He's going to get heavy work and
- 43:43pass catching downs as well. Yeah, there's T there's T
- 43:47Higgins and Jamar and yeah, T Higgins and Jamar, Chase, Joe
- 43:52Burrow. But that just that works to his
- 43:54benefit because he's going to see, you know, he's not going to
- 43:58see stacked boxes. I mean, teams are not going to
- 44:00be playing the run on Cincinnati.
- 44:01And that just benefits him. He's so league winner there.
- 44:05And then like Amari in Hampton, John Harbaugh loves to run the
- 44:08football. He just couldn't stay healthy
- 44:11last year. But now I think you've got a
- 44:14better offensive line share the Chargers a line.
- 44:16They get a little banged up losing Tyler Bianich.
- 44:20However, there isn't a ton of competition yak Keaton
- 44:24Mitchell's going to take some carries, but it's in the Mike
- 44:27McDaniel offense, which had the was the number one offense in
- 44:31football two years ago with the worst quarterback.
- 44:34I mean, 2 was no Justin Harry. And so now Mike McDaniels just
- 44:38focus on offensive play calling duty Amari and Hampton Chase
- 44:42Brown could be a potential league winners for you.
- 44:45All right, then we come into the third round.
- 44:49If you're taking say you go, you take a Marion Hampton.
- 44:52I don't hate taking Trey McBride there at the at the turn of the
- 44:58third round. Again, though, I just feel like
- 45:01you can you can wait a little bit and get, you know, like
- 45:05maybe even just a round or two and get a better potential tight
- 45:10end and take a shot on if you're if you're done with your two 2
- 45:16running backs strategy, if that's the way you're going,
- 45:18maybe you grab Malik neighbors. I would I would learn more
- 45:23towards like a Crystal Lave or Devonta Smith, even Garrett
- 45:27Wilson. Garrett Wilson was going to be
- 45:29like a top 10 fantasy wide receiver before he got hurt.
- 45:32And that was with like Justin Fields starting on the
- 45:34quarterback. Gio Smith's a better
- 45:36quarterback. I mean, yeah, I know he's not
- 45:40good, great, great at getting wins, but he's a better pass
- 45:43than anybody The Jets had last year.
- 45:45So Garrett Wilson, one of those three guys, if that's like your
- 45:48first receiver and you've stacked up on two really great,
- 45:52two really great running backs, you should be in a good spot.
- 45:59Let's see. Zay Flowers I don't hate, but
- 46:04again, he's just lacked some consistency.
- 46:06Malik Neighbors. I wonder how explosive he'll be
- 46:09coming off of a torn ACL. I mean, he looks good in camp,
- 46:14but it's always the one thing when you're different when
- 46:16you're playing in the and that real speed.
- 46:19Jeremiah Love a guy I would probably avoid.
- 46:24I know they stripped the third, the third overall pick on them.
- 46:26The lines not very good. Again, the Cardinals are
- 46:28probably going to be bad. They're probably going to be
- 46:30trailing a lot and there's a decent amount of competition in
- 46:37that backfield form. Tyler Algier, James Conner,
- 46:41they're both still there. So I mean, we I just I don't
- 46:46think love for a third round pick.
- 46:48I don't I don't really like you're much better off with a
- 46:51guy like Bruce Hall that you can get here near the end of the
- 46:55round or you could potentially Josh Jacobs should still be the
- 46:59workhorse back at there. I just worry about some of his
- 47:03off the field issues that might have been a distraction from
- 47:06camp. League winner right here, Jalen
- 47:09Waddle. The Broncos led to the NFL and
- 47:11pass attempts last year. He they trained the first
- 47:14overall pick for him to be the new, the number one receiver.
- 47:20He's going to get a ton of targets.
- 47:22It's going to be to the volume here.
- 47:24Yeah, if you're past, if you're a guy that passed on Trey
- 47:27McBride or Brock Bowers to shore up your skill position and you
- 47:32wait towards near the end of the third the ground Colston level.
- 47:35And I don't hate that. But again, you're looking down
- 47:38here, right here. Bam.
- 47:39Tyler Warren, if you can get Tyler so you do the first 3
- 47:42rounds to rather I would, I would go for 2 running backs cuz
- 47:46that position is going to be a bit more of the premium.
- 47:48And then at least one goes wide receiver.
- 47:50There's a lot more wide receivers with upside and then
- 47:53you can grab Tyler Warren. I think you'll be the top three
- 47:56tight top at least top five. Good chance you could be top
- 48:00three. Michael Pittman's gone.
- 48:03I mean, there is a ton of competition for targets there in
- 48:09in Indianapolis. So he should see a steady,
- 48:12steady diet there. If that's the first time that
- 48:15you're taking, I think your team's in a great spot.
- 48:18Javonte, we know he's going to feast on goal line touches.
- 48:23There isn't any real backfield competition for him there in
- 48:26Dallas. Guy I really like there some
- 48:30guys I would be staying away from at this point right here.
- 48:35I mean, all three of these, Travis A Chan now with the
- 48:40Camaro injury, I don't hate drafting him and using him to
- 48:45trade later on. You don't have to draft the guy
- 48:47that's going to be on your team the entire season.
- 48:51Camaro's hurt, so he's obviously going to see a lot more volume.
- 48:54And as Camaro starts to come back from injury, he could be a
- 48:58valuable trade asset for you to move.
- 48:59So let them artificially inflate his trade value, pawn them off
- 49:05onto a an idiot league mate and bolster your team for a playoff
- 49:12run. Because I do think his volumes
- 49:15going to go down when Camara comes back.
- 49:17But with a Camaro injury, that's a that's a guy you want to have
- 49:23on your roster. And then Adams and Kyron
- 49:26Williams, Devante Adams, a lot of his fantasy value came from
- 49:29touchdowns last year. That's just very hard to
- 49:31replicate. I don't think like a fourth
- 49:34round pick. I don't hate Devante, but a
- 49:35fourth round pick is a little too rich for my taste,
- 49:39especially when you you're hoping you don't know if that
- 49:42touchdown production is still going to be there.
- 49:44And then Kyron Williams, he's already splitting carries with
- 49:49Blake Corum and he's really losing a lot of pass catching
- 49:53work to Blake Corum, which I don't like.
- 49:56But then and then tether on McMillan, another guy I'm a
- 49:59little cautious about just because the Panthers are kind of
- 50:04an inefficient offense. And I can just see that being a
- 50:07little some wild fluctuations out of them.
- 50:10I think like a more sure guy. If you're looking for a wide
- 50:13receiver in this range, a Mecca Buka should absolutely feast
- 50:19this year. There's no Mike Evans to take
- 50:20targets go Chris Godwin really struggles to stay healthy and
- 50:27like he's got a great connection with Baker.
- 50:30He could have he probably would have won offensive rookie of the
- 50:32year and might have been the top 10 fantasy receiver if he stayed
- 50:36healthy. He just injuries sort of
- 50:38derailed his season there. Luther Burden has a chance to be
- 50:43in like, you know, one of the number one offenses in football
- 50:47that's he's he's going to be more of a fifth round guy.
- 50:50But maybe you can get like I I think Christian Washington, Ladd
- 50:54Mcconkey, if you take those guys in the 4th, I don't hate that
- 50:57because again, like Mcconkey is the number one wide receiver
- 51:00with Mike McDaniel again, had the number one offense in the
- 51:04League Two years ago. He's a great coordinator and
- 51:07he's just focused on play goals. And now Watson.
- 51:09I know there's injury concerns with them, but there's a lot
- 51:13less patch pass catchers taking targets in Green Bay.
- 51:17He's a big downfield vertical threat as well.
- 51:20He should feast this year as if he can stay on the field as we
- 51:26move deeper into the fifth round.
- 51:28Some other guys I like honestly, if you're going to take Drake
- 51:31man in the fifth round that you got two really good quarterback
- 51:33running backs and and wide receivers that I would say go
- 51:36for it. I like I like May's situation,
- 51:40Jayden Daniels, Joe Burrow, even Jaylen Hurts if you're if you're
- 51:44set there. I don't hate taking any of those
- 51:45guys in the fifth round. Terry Mclaurin, I like, I think
- 51:52if he stays healthy, Jayden Daniels stays healthy.
- 51:55I know that's that. That's a big if.
- 51:56But we saw what they did two years ago and the, you know,
- 52:02injuries didn't really mess that that team up there.
- 52:08Another guy I really like, DeAndre Swift, Kyle, the young
- 52:12guy is dealing with an injury. And even with that, I mean,
- 52:15Swift saw he's going to get more of the pass catching work.
- 52:19He's just the better pass catching back and Ben Johnson
- 52:23really even when Monong guy started taking a lot of carries,
- 52:27like swift still was averaging, you know, close to 15 fantasy
- 52:32points a game. So he's a really solid flexed,
- 52:34you know, RB3 type, maybe even if in a pinch RB2 Roma Dunsay.
- 52:41I cannot believe he's below Luther burden.
- 52:43Like I think he will absolutely be the number one wide receiver
- 52:46on that team. He is a former top ten pick.
- 52:49He's going to be great. OK, and like the Bears again,
- 52:54could be the number one offensive football.
- 52:55I wouldn't be shocked by that at all.
- 52:57With Ben Johnson, there's some guys too that I don't really
- 53:00like in here. Mike Evans.
- 53:03I'm just worried because he's getting older, but he is going
- 53:06to be the number one in San Francisco.
- 53:08So we'll see. I don't I don't hate it, but I'm
- 53:14I probably wouldn't take him. But it's it's Bucky, Bucky
- 53:19Irving, Cam Scatabo. Those are some of the guys in
- 53:24this kind of range that I'm a little nervous about taking.
- 53:27Even Jameson Williams, he's so boom or bust.
- 53:29I don't like to spending this early of a pick on him.
- 53:33Bucky's just it's a crowded backfield.
- 53:36You've got Sean Tucker there. He's going to take a lot of the
- 53:38goal line work and then camp scataboo.
- 53:41They brought in Naji Harris. I'm just I'm sort of falling off
- 53:46on him a little bit because I think he's not going to get a
- 53:48lot of work on pass catching downs.
- 53:51Now she's going to be kind of more of the the the blocking,
- 53:56the blocking back there. Got a comment here thoughts on
- 54:01Bryce Young and Coker against the Bears talking about the the
- 54:11preseason game correct. I do like Bryce Young's
- 54:18connection with Jalen Coker, but I don't know that's who else do
- 54:32you got? Are you talking in fantasy?
- 54:34I don't think the bears played them in the pre season man I'm
- 54:41I'm just the whole Carolina offense kind of worries me.
- 54:45They were just super inefficient last year and they're going to
- 54:49have a tougher schedule. I don't think the Bears defense
- 54:53is all that good. However, I'm just in general,
- 54:59I'm not too confident on anybody from Carolina Week 1 DFS.
- 55:14You know what, I I don't hate that for the for a week 1 match
- 55:19up. Actually, I would if Coker's
- 55:23your flex, I don't think he should be one of your your wide
- 55:27receiver, your wide receiver one or one or two.
- 55:30But if he's like your flex and then you've got Bryce Young,
- 55:33you've got that double dip possibility there.
- 55:36Like I said, I don't think the Bears defense is going to be all
- 55:38that good. They kind of thrived off of
- 55:43turnovers, but they really weren't all that good at
- 55:47stopping people. And besides, like they added
- 55:51Josh and Job to that secondary, but I don't think it's it's
- 55:54still one of the weaker ones in the league.
- 55:58How did you rank Karen Breece, Jovante Jacobs and ETN?
- 56:05All right, I got to put Karen at fifth there.
- 56:10I just Blake quorum stealing all the pass catching work there and
- 56:15splitting the snaps really worries me about Karen.
- 56:20And I mean, like Blake Corum was just the more explosive back at
- 56:24the tail end of that season. And we saw him get a lot of work
- 56:29on 3rd downs and things like that.
- 56:31So he just has, he's just going to have more opportunities for
- 56:35things that give running backs upside, which is those catching
- 56:39passes and and being on the field on 3rd down.
- 56:44After that, I got to go. Jacobs, I think he will still be
- 56:50solid. Green Bay is obviously going to
- 56:54rely on him heavily. He's just been with his legal
- 57:01issues. I always worry about how that's
- 57:03a bit of a distraction for a player and he was he was a
- 57:06steady fantasy option, but he wasn't, you know, he was like an
- 57:11RB. He was really a a fringe RB2,
- 57:14the more of an RB3 kind of guy. Next I would probably go HN or
- 57:22ETN, however you want to pronounce that.
- 57:27But I I love him for early in the season with the Chimera
- 57:30injury, but I do think you're going to have to trade him once
- 57:35Chimera comes back, you're going to see his volume go down.
- 57:37But like, like I was saying, you don't need to have, you don't
- 57:41need to draft the guy to have them on your team all year.
- 57:43If you want to draft the guy cuz you want to have them for the
- 57:46first part of the season and then try to trade him away or
- 57:49you think he's going to be great for a month, month and a half
- 57:52and then you're not going to get a ton of value out of them,
- 57:54that's fine. And you can package him up in
- 57:56the trade deal, something like that.
- 57:58I think Travis CTN is the perfect example of that.
- 58:01So he's going to see a lot of work with Kamara Herbal and
- 58:05Kamara comes back that's going to that's going to go down.
- 58:08Then I got to go with Javonte. He's not incredibly explosive as
- 58:12a runner, but he's just a a great between the tackles back
- 58:15and we just saw him absolutely feast at the goal line last
- 58:20year. It's the same Cowboys offense.
- 58:22I mean, pick and CD are both back a really drama free
- 58:27offseason from Dallas. Jake Ferguson's back as well,
- 58:32that's going to be, it's going to be a good offense again.
- 58:36They're going to see a lot of it.
- 58:37He's going to see a lot of goal line work.
- 58:39He's going to have a steady die. The touchdowns you could
- 58:41probably also with no real competition run for like 1200
- 58:46yards and have like 10 to 13 touchdowns.
- 58:50Then I got to go with with Breece Hall at one, his pass
- 58:53catching up side that just threw the roof better.
- 58:57The offensive line for The Jets, one of their sneaky best
- 59:00qualities. The Jets have a really good
- 59:02offensive line and we saw with a really banged up team.
- 59:07I mean, he still put up like what like 1400 yards on the
- 59:11ground. He's got they know there's a
- 59:15better quarterback. Garrett Wilson, you think should
- 59:17be healthy. We're forgetting Omar Cooper is
- 59:21out there. I I think he's trying to just
- 59:23really replicate what he did and potentially see more, more
- 59:29touchdowns. Yeah, I'm between Bruce and
- 59:32Javonte. I like Reese's upset.
- 59:34I think Bruce has, you know, way more upset because again, he's
- 59:39he's a better pass catcher. And when I'm evaluating running
- 59:42backs, guys that will get involved in pass catching downs,
- 59:45especially with some of these explosive is Bruce Hawley.
- 59:49He's got he's the type of guy who can turn like a screenplay
- 59:53into a thirty 4050 yard game. How a potential house call.
- 1:00:00He's he can run between the tackles, he can run outside
- 1:00:04outside. It's he's just got so much
- 1:00:07versatility, versatility there. And The Jets were were poor.
- 1:00:14They were horrendous last year. And I don't know all of his
- 1:00:19stats off the the top of my head.
- 1:00:22But he still had a very good fantasy season and their their
- 1:00:28offense is just going to be better.
- 1:00:30So I can only see that him improving in that sense, getting
- 1:00:33more opportunities in the red zone and at the goal line.
- 1:00:39So I would, if you're between Breece and Javonte, I would go
- 1:00:44with Breece. Yeah, it might change with
- 1:00:50Jacobs suspension with a wet went away because again, he's
- 1:00:55he's just like Javonte in my eyes where it's like he's like,
- 1:01:01I don't think he's nearly as explosive as he was in in
- 1:01:05Oakland. He's but again, he's a big
- 1:01:07physical runner that runs between the tackles.
- 1:01:12He's going to get a lot of goal line work.
- 1:01:16But yeah, just the suspension and overall, I don't like when
- 1:01:20players have like a legal battle and legal troubles affecting
- 1:01:26them while they're in camp because I just think it it it
- 1:01:28it's a distraction that makes it more difficult to learn the
- 1:01:31offense and especially these issues.
- 1:01:35Plus, Marshawn Lloyd's had a good pre season.
- 1:01:39Makes me worried about, you know, he wasn't the most
- 1:01:44productive running back last season.
- 1:01:48That makes me worry about how he's his consistency, how how
- 1:01:52that's going to be this year, you know, But if you're going,
- 1:01:59yeah, all of those five briefs is definitely the best.
- 1:02:03And Chiron, Chiron really worries me.
- 1:02:06I think he'll be all right to start the year.
- 1:02:08But like, just for the price you're going to have to spend
- 1:02:12for him, I can see it feels too steep for how how much is
- 1:02:18production to potentially drop. I mean, Blake Corum is is really
- 1:02:23good and we're having a kick. His legs did help carry JJ
- 1:02:29McCarthy to a national championship.
- 1:02:31Let's not forget that. All right, moving down into I'm
- 1:02:35going to move along those some of these other guys down here in
- 1:02:37the ADP range. This is where we're starting to
- 1:02:39see some more tight ends go in this range.
- 1:02:45David Montgomery kind of a sneaky out as an RB3.
- 1:02:49They're not not a lot of real competition for him in Houston
- 1:02:53besides maybe Woody Marks. But yeah, I think he'll see it.
- 1:02:57You'll see a steady diet from him.
- 1:03:00Tucker Craft is my favorite tight end of the whole fantasy
- 1:03:06draft. I mean, he coming back into our
- 1:03:12Green Bay offense where he was just so good.
- 1:03:14I mean, he's got like prime Kelsey levels of explosiveness
- 1:03:17with the ball in his hand. And now Dantavian Wicks is gone,
- 1:03:23Romeo Dobbs is gone. You're going to see Josh Jacobs
- 1:03:29not going to be a big, you know, dealing with a suspension, that
- 1:03:33type of stuff. So like guys like Watson,
- 1:03:35Tucker, Kraft are going to be see a lot of love from Jordan
- 1:03:40Love because those are guys he trusts and he's going to really
- 1:03:43depend on. So that's why I like, yeah, like
- 1:03:49browser's Colston Loveland, Trey McBride, Tyler Warren, you know,
- 1:03:56I don't hate taking those guys at that point.
- 1:03:58But if you can get way back a little bit and then get like
- 1:04:01Tucker Craft or even Sam Laporta, you can get a lot more
- 1:04:05value from like some other skill positions and then grab these
- 1:04:09guys who both have the top five potential.
- 1:04:12I mean, LaPorte, though, had a bit of a sophomore slump last
- 1:04:16year, but he's still that big target for Jared Goff in the red
- 1:04:23zone. He's going to be in a top five
- 1:04:26offense. I mean, the Lions are still
- 1:04:27going to be in the lead offensive unit.
- 1:04:29So these guys are both they've both got top five fantasy tight
- 1:04:33end potential here. Harold Fandon I'm a little
- 1:04:37cautious on just because KC Conception and Denzel Boston
- 1:04:42have had really good camps and last year his, you know, his
- 1:04:47targeted competition was like Jerry Judy and Elijah Moore and
- 1:04:53he took David Ninjoku's job. So this year I I just think like
- 1:05:00I don't hate it, but if you didn't grab one of these two
- 1:05:02guys, I would rather take them and then maybe you can wait a
- 1:05:04second on fan. Then there was Quid Sean
- 1:05:09Judkins. He's in a very similar Kyron
- 1:05:11Williams situation where he is getting no pass catching work.
- 1:05:14It's all Dylan Sampson when it's when they need a running back to
- 1:05:17run around. So that makes it difficult for
- 1:05:22you to get on the field a lot. And plus the Browns are going to
- 1:05:25be terrible. They're going to be trailing
- 1:05:27around a lot For a guy that's going to have to make a lot of
- 1:05:30his fantasy value on getting carries.
- 1:05:34I don't think QJ is going to be able to be able to do that, be
- 1:05:41able to really carry the workload for you.
- 1:05:44That's a duo right here that I love this this whole this like
- 1:05:48whole stretch, 73 to 80. If you're in this rain, like if
- 1:05:56you're waiting until here to grab a quarterback, I think
- 1:06:01you're a genius because I mean, you are getting some incredibly
- 1:06:05valuable players here. And then you can really stack up
- 1:06:07on some more of the top end skill position guys and still
- 1:06:11get, I mean, there's five guys here that I think could have a
- 1:06:16good shot to be top ten in fantasy.
- 1:06:21Brock pretty just he lights it up in the Kyle Shanahan offense.
- 1:06:25Caleb Williams, especially if his accuracy improves.
- 1:06:29The Bears again, I just wouldn't be shocked if they're the number
- 1:06:33one offense in football. Kyla Murray's in the best
- 1:06:36situation with the best head coach of his career and hands
- 1:06:40down some of the best pass catching weapons around him.
- 1:06:45Plus his rushing upside is fantastic.
- 1:06:48And then Dak Prescott, I mean, Dak might be an MVP talks guys.
- 1:06:53I, I think Dak is going to light it up.
- 1:06:57I mean, he was, he's been like a, a top ten QB in the league
- 1:07:04that the Cowboys just kind of choke in the post season that
- 1:07:07get some kind of undervalued as a quarterback.
- 1:07:10But as a fantasy guy like Dak, he he can just light it up and
- 1:07:14he's got the best weapons of his career.
- 1:07:20And well, I think they're the Cowboys defense has improved
- 1:07:24marginally. I do think that they're still, I
- 1:07:26mean, he's still going to have to probably score, you know,
- 1:07:29like 2730 a game. I don't think they'll get into
- 1:07:32some of these like, you know, like 40 to 37 shootouts or games
- 1:07:37that they had there last year. But there's definitely a
- 1:07:40possibility that the the cow he's going to have to score
- 1:07:46against some more of the lead offenses like the Cowboys are
- 1:07:48going to have to score like 35 or 42 a game.
- 1:07:52Like he's he's going to light it up.
- 1:07:56Parker Washington could be the wide receiver one in
- 1:08:01Jacksonville. And we'll see how Brian Thomas
- 1:08:04if he can kind of get over his fear of going across the middle.
- 1:08:08But then him and Trevor Lawrence has great rushing upside.
- 1:08:12So this range right here, if you're if you can get any of
- 1:08:16these guys in this round, this range, if this is like one of
- 1:08:19the and any of these cubes are your first quarterbacks, I think
- 1:08:23you're going to do really good. I'm just kind of staying away
- 1:08:26from the New England backfield. It's going to be very split.
- 1:08:30So I don't I don't trust that too much.
- 1:08:36Like who's going to be the guy week to week?
- 1:08:39Trayvion like his thing. He he's going to really just
- 1:08:42live off of those explosive runs.
- 1:08:45So I don't like those guys that you you really have to kind of
- 1:08:49hope for them to to RIP off a big one to have a solid week
- 1:08:53fantasy wise. I don't hate general Warren
- 1:08:57Jackson Dart, but we're going to skip down a few more.
- 1:09:00Love Basil, too, and I know Chris Rodriguez is going to be
- 1:09:03splitting work with them, but soon should be good enough to
- 1:09:07win the majority of snaps there. Look at what Liam Cohen's done
- 1:09:11with running backs the past two seasons.
- 1:09:13Bucky Irving, breakout, top 10 fantasy finish.
- 1:09:16Travis ETN breakout, top 10 fantasy finish.
- 1:09:22Now it's spatial tooten. Stern Tooten's the better pass
- 1:09:25catching back. He's going to get that.
- 1:09:27And Liam Cohen loves throwing to his running backs.
- 1:09:29We saw ETN like that was a huge part of his fantasy upside was
- 1:09:33all the receiving touchdowns. Yeah, I would.
- 1:09:38I would grab Tooting Cardinal Tate.
- 1:09:43It's going to be the number one in Tennessee.
- 1:09:48Bo Nicks, that's your first quarterback.
- 1:09:51Come on. I don't hate that either, guys.
- 1:09:53Bo's pretty good. He's got rushing upside too, and
- 1:09:59now he's got Jalen Waddle there as well.
- 1:10:03Mahomes is a guy again. I don't he doesn't have a ton of
- 1:10:06pass catchers. I think they're going to learn
- 1:10:07more heavily on the run. So I might fade off of him a
- 1:10:12bit. Jonathan Brooks, He's he's, he's
- 1:10:17moving that boards a little too much for my liking.
- 1:10:20I hope, I hope to God he stays healthy.
- 1:10:23I mean, it was just hard watching this man get hurt year
- 1:10:27after year, but he's not coming off multiple ACL injuries.
- 1:10:35I just don't think he's going to be anywhere near the same player
- 1:10:40as we Scroll down here a little bit more.
- 1:10:45You know these guys, some of these guys got solid upside.
- 1:10:52Definitely worth it. You know, nobody that I'm, I
- 1:10:59would be like terrified to pick Chris Godwin.
- 1:11:02I might stay away from he is dealing with an injury.
- 1:11:06You know, he, he's just had trouble staying healthy the past
- 1:11:10few seasons. Again, like JK, it's kind of a
- 1:11:12crowded backfield. So same thing with Broncos
- 1:11:17running backs. It's just a crowded backfield.
- 1:11:20I would probably stay away from the Broncos backfield cuz I just
- 1:11:22don't know week to week. It's like going to be like who's
- 1:11:24going to be the featured back? Like you know, RJ is going to
- 1:11:29get a lot of pass catching work. JK is the brother runner.
- 1:11:32John Coleman's going to factor in there somehow.
- 1:11:34I would stay away from the the Broncos backfield.
- 1:11:39Tyler Shuck could be a sneaky league winner.
- 1:11:43I'm fading him a little bit though, just because of the
- 1:11:45Jordan Tyson thing. Like at this range I can joy
- 1:11:47Jordan loves just a more sure thing.
- 1:11:50But if you at this point, if you want to stash Shuck and when
- 1:11:54Tyson comes back, I think we could really see that offense
- 1:11:58explode and he would be just a fantastic backup quarterback to
- 1:12:03have. Jordan Mason's a guy might just
- 1:12:08stay away from because he's just been very disappointing the past
- 1:12:11two years. I don't think Minnesota's going
- 1:12:17to run the ball a ton. I think they're going to want to
- 1:12:19air it out more anyways. I would stay away from Quinn,
- 1:12:22John Jenkins, Josh Downs. This is a guy that I can't stop
- 1:12:28drafting. Like if you can get him, I mean,
- 1:12:32like, think about Michael Pittman's gone.
- 1:12:35I mean, they brought in Keenan Allen, but that's what, you
- 1:12:39know, old Keenan Allen, like he is going to get just a ton of
- 1:12:42targets there. There's somebody else who I
- 1:12:46can't even his name, I can't even remember that he might have
- 1:12:49to compete with. But it it it's not a lot of
- 1:12:50competition for Josh Downs, especially if the value you can
- 1:12:54get at him down here like this is he could be one of those the
- 1:12:58best sneaky late round additions.
- 1:13:02Carolina Tuba Hubbard. I'm avoiding their backfield.
- 1:13:05I'm just not not loving it. Yeah, Kenneth Gainwell at this
- 1:13:12at this juncture, get just a very crowded backfield there in
- 1:13:15Tampa Bay. Kind of want to stay away from
- 1:13:18that there. Like I'd rather get Blake Korn.
- 1:13:21Like the fact that like Kyron's going in the second round and
- 1:13:24Blake Korum's going like all the way down around like the 135
- 1:13:27range is insane to me. Jacory Krosky, Merritt, I like
- 1:13:35to, but I, I, I would rather take Blake Korum.
- 1:13:40He's going to, I think he's going to be the RB1 by the end
- 1:13:45of the year. And in Los Angeles, I wouldn't
- 1:13:49that wouldn't surprise me at all.
- 1:13:52And I know Kelsey's old, but he's going to he homes trust
- 1:13:57them. He's going to see a lot of
- 1:13:58targets P and PPR wise, he's going to just see a lot of pass
- 1:14:02catching volume. So if you're in the pension, you
- 1:14:08need to tie them. He's still a safe option for you
- 1:14:13down here. Couple of other guys that I
- 1:14:16think are going to be that I love down here, Malik Willis and
- 1:14:21KC Conception. Look, I know the Dolphins are
- 1:14:23going to be bad, but at this price point from Malik Willis
- 1:14:28with his rushing upside, I I like it.
- 1:14:33I really do. I think it's this is not a bad
- 1:14:35spot. Maybe he's your second
- 1:14:37quarterback on your roster. He's still going to have some
- 1:14:40favorable matchups. The rushing upside is going to
- 1:14:43be there. I know he doesn't have a ton of
- 1:14:47weapons to throw it to, but I one pick 146 in this range.
- 1:14:52Good price point. That's like around the 10th
- 1:14:54round. Same thing with I can set Casey
- 1:14:56Conception. He's going to be the wide
- 1:15:01receiver one. We saw his versatility.
- 1:15:03He's going to probably get some carries, things like that.
- 1:15:07So boom, I would go. I will.
- 1:15:10I love him for a tenth round price point.
- 1:15:12I mean, you're getting like a potential top 10 rookie fantasy
- 1:15:15player right there. Don't draft Brandon.
- 1:15:18I know what Brandon Aubrey's enticing.
- 1:15:20He's got the huge leg and everything.
- 1:15:22Just wait till the last round. The draft the kicker please.
- 1:15:28Matthew Golden, great value down here.
- 1:15:35Same thing with Cam Ward. It's going to be a better
- 1:15:41season. Cam's a good like good improv
- 1:15:44improvisational quarterback would be a good QB 2 good backup
- 1:15:47to have if you need one. Those we come down here a little
- 1:15:52bit more. Nobody that I unnecessarily
- 1:15:58terrified than the hates Jordan Tyson.
- 1:16:01Great stash player here. I'd maybe avoid Debo.
- 1:16:05I don't think he's going to be very valuable.
- 1:16:07I mean, there's on Striblings, but definitely much more
- 1:16:11valuable might be with the Genting injury.
- 1:16:14Might be worth taking Mike Washington.
- 1:16:18I wouldn't be surprised to see him jump up here.
- 1:16:21And honestly, if if you're if you want to hold out and wait on
- 1:16:25taking a tight end, get Dallas Goddard, Jake Ferguson in this
- 1:16:31range. Goddard LED all tight ends and
- 1:16:35touchdowns last year. Ferguson's going to be in lead
- 1:16:38offense now. AJ Brown's gone, so that's even
- 1:16:40more red zone targets for Dallas Gothic.
- 1:16:44Think about that. Then we start to get into
- 1:16:49defence and kick a range here. Even that here.
- 1:16:55Isaiah Likely, I mean, come on, who?
- 1:16:58He's tight end one in New York. That's great value down here.
- 1:17:02Even Brenton Strange, there's no competition for him in
- 1:17:06Jacksonville. Yeah, this is where then then
- 1:17:14you're kind of getting to the end of your drafts and it's like
- 1:17:15where you're taking your kickers and your defense.
- 1:17:18I'm a guy like there's maybe 5, maybe even 4 defenses that I
- 1:17:24would draft to have like the whole year.
- 1:17:26That's like the Broncos, the Seahawks, the Texans, probably
- 1:17:33the Rams. I feel like if you're going to
- 1:17:36want to, those are the four defenses that if you're going to
- 1:17:38play them each week, they're going to, you know, hold people
- 1:17:41to a few mile of points. They should do.
- 1:17:45They shouldn't get scored on the lot.
- 1:17:47The Broncos have a great pass rush.
- 1:17:50I think they'll be better than taking the football away again
- 1:17:51last year, like Seattle did lose a few pieces on defense, but
- 1:17:58still got one of the best defensive head coaches in in the
- 1:18:00league, good elite special teams with Rashid sheet.
- 1:18:06You know, he's got the return potential there.
- 1:18:09The Rams, I mean, Miles Garrett, Trent Mcduffie, Jaylen Watson,
- 1:18:14all those guys added to what was already a really good defensive
- 1:18:18unit. And then Houston should Houston
- 1:18:22should be the best defense in the league.
- 1:18:24I I think they just got better with the draft.
- 1:18:28I mean, now with Kate in it, like the big weakness was, I
- 1:18:30mean, they didn't they weren't great on the interior defensive
- 1:18:34line. But now you have like some big,
- 1:18:35big Kaden McDonald there who's looked great in the preseason
- 1:18:39pro ready coming out of Ohio State.
- 1:18:41Will Anderson on the edges without the Neil Hunter, Derek
- 1:18:46Stingley, Jalen Petri, those guys still back there in the in
- 1:18:50the secondary. They brought in Ray Blankenship.
- 1:18:52I mean, it's going to be Kamari last of their it's it's just
- 1:18:57going to be sick. I mean, they're like teams are
- 1:18:59going to be scoring like 14 points a game on this unit.
- 1:19:02They should get plenty of takeaways just from pressure and
- 1:19:05all that type of stuff. So all right, we're going to
- 1:19:10we're going to stop there and go and head to our our next break.
- 1:19:16Let me bring myself back up here.
- 1:19:20Do another quick music break. When we come back, I'm going to
- 1:19:23drop my top 10 by position and then we're going to dive into
- 1:19:30another mock drafted too. So hey, if you haven't drafted
- 1:19:33yet and you know what position you're picking in and what your
- 1:19:37league's format is, drop it in the comments.
- 1:19:40I will draft from your position and show you what my strategy
- 1:19:44and my thoughts are on that. So stay with me, stay with me.
- 1:19:49You're watching The Final Time Out, your military broadcast
- 1:19:54radio. The station where our veterans
- 1:24:00voices are heard. MBR talk.
- 1:24:03Hey, thanks for supporting our channel by watching and
- 1:24:06listening. All right.
- 1:24:17Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:24:20Final time out your military broadcast radio a comment come
- 1:24:28in from titch twitch from T Glenny 12 told me he is pick
- 1:24:34nine and a 12 man half PPR league.
- 1:24:39We're going to go ahead and mock draft for him right now perfect.
- 1:24:46We got 12 teams set up here all ready to go.
- 1:24:48We're going to just jump into it yeah half PPR can be one of the
- 1:24:53leagues I'm in this half PPR. It's interesting one, definitely
- 1:24:57want to look at guys that are going to see a lot of chances to
- 1:25:07get yardage and touchdowns. Receptions are still important,
- 1:25:11obviously, but I look for guys that are in explosive offenses.
- 1:25:15So you've got 2 good options here.
- 1:25:22It's a tough, tough spot to pick.
- 1:25:26Running backs are definitely going to be very valuable in
- 1:25:28here either. Wouldn't hate if you go with
- 1:25:36Almond raw St. Brown at this spot.
- 1:25:39I think I mean, again, he's going to get a a lot of a lot of
- 1:25:44love in that Vikings off or that that Lions offense.
- 1:25:47But having a great or elite running back and a half PPR is
- 1:25:53just really important. I usually try to make sure by
- 1:25:59round three I've got 2 good running backs.
- 1:26:02In this case, I'm going to go with with JT here.
- 1:26:06But like I said, if you would go on and around that spot, don't
- 1:26:10hate that neither. Now I got you and we're going to
- 1:26:16we're going to do the full thing for you.
- 1:26:17All right, so here we are at pick 4 now.
- 1:26:23I don't know what strategy you want to implement.
- 1:26:28The fact that you were able to get Jonathan Taylor and how
- 1:26:32we've got we've got Henry, we've got Devon, a Chan here on the
- 1:26:37board. I do like a Chan if I can get
- 1:26:39him as my RB2. There's a pretty significant
- 1:26:42drop off in the running back quality after like round 4,
- 1:26:48whereas there's a lot more wide, excuse me, there's a lot more
- 1:26:51wide receivers with a lot more upside.
- 1:26:55I think so in this spot, if you if you don't feel comfortable
- 1:27:03not getting the receiver around to you, I understand that.
- 1:27:05I would go A.J. Brown, but fortune does favor
- 1:27:09the bold. I like the Von HN just a little
- 1:27:11bit more because he's going to the younger player going to see
- 1:27:15more volume in this this system. Him and Derrick Henry are are
- 1:27:20pretty close for me, but I'm going to go with HN here and now
- 1:27:25we're going to go we're going to look for our next to the three
- 1:27:28rounds. We're going to look for wide
- 1:27:30receiver upside here. All right, so this is where we
- 1:27:37get to Bleak Neighbors, Crystal Lava, two guys I really like
- 1:27:42here. I'm going to go with the lava.
- 1:27:46We got neighbors coming off of that Achilles.
- 1:27:48He looks really good in camp. I'm always just a little
- 1:27:52skeptical and players that are coming off of them or not not an
- 1:27:55Achilles ACL off of injuries like that because they tend to
- 1:28:00even if they get it going later in the season, they tend to not
- 1:28:02be as explosive or or look the same early on.
- 1:28:07A lot of a fully healthy one of the better quarterbacks he's had
- 1:28:10in his career and especially when Tyson comes up actually
- 1:28:14open up even more for him in the past catching game.
- 1:28:17But for now, he's going to see a lot of targets.
- 1:28:21So bang, bang, there we go And Uban in this spot.
- 1:28:26Here we go. We've got 2 fantastic options to
- 1:28:29fill in their wide receiver two spot.
- 1:28:32Garrett Wilson was on an elite pace before his injury.
- 1:28:37I don't hate taking him here I am a Broncos chance of the Homer
- 1:28:42me is going to go with Jalen Waddle at this spot.
- 1:28:45But two of these guys, they're the number one in their offense.
- 1:28:49Wilson got a quarterback upgrade.
- 1:28:51Gino Smith, I mean, that's better than anything The Jets
- 1:28:53had last year. Plus he's got Omar Cooper, the
- 1:28:58another that receiver from Indiana that should help
- 1:29:00alleviate some of the the coverage he's going to see.
- 1:29:06But Broncos traded the first round pick for Jalen Waddle.
- 1:29:10They love throwing the football. We're going to go with Waddle.
- 1:29:17All right, as we move along here, see some of the pics going
- 1:29:26off the board. All right, bang, we're in an
- 1:29:30interesting spot here. OK, couple of ways.
- 1:29:35Oh yeah, he Jalen Waddle also got one of the most criminal
- 1:29:40like receiving lines for the season.
- 1:29:44Like I think he's his line is like 875 1/2.
- 1:29:51Like Jalen Waddle has been 1000 yard receiver every season that
- 1:29:55he's been healthy. But the only time he hasn't been
- 1:29:58able to crack it is when he's been injured and it's missed
- 1:30:02games. Like Waddle, like the Broncos,
- 1:30:05like we try that first round pick.
- 1:30:07We want him to be heavily involved.
- 1:30:10We need a receiver that can that Bo can depend on throwing the
- 1:30:14football to over the middle. I mean, we've got like Courtland
- 1:30:16son. He's great at catching it
- 1:30:18outside the numbers, but we we need a guy that we can throw to
- 1:30:23over the middle. All right, as we get you.
- 1:30:25What are we on your 5th pick here?
- 1:30:28We're in an interesting spot. I'm telling you right now I'm
- 1:30:31eyeing these two Packers got some other interesting options
- 1:30:38here. But for me, if you want to go
- 1:30:41and get your tight end spot here, I don't hate taking Tucker
- 1:30:44craft here. I really like Craft.
- 1:30:48I'm really personally I'm going to go with Christian Watson
- 1:30:52here, though. I just like the he's got that
- 1:30:56downfield. He's a downfield threat, but
- 1:31:02also like he's just he's going to be the new number one.
- 1:31:04I mean, he's going to see he's got the height to get a lot of
- 1:31:08red zone targets as well. He can take the top off of a
- 1:31:13defense. I really like it.
- 1:31:16I mean, he's he's seen probably at least 50 to 16 new targets
- 1:31:21this year with Dontavian Wicks and J Romeo Dobbs gone.
- 1:31:29All right, looking at where we're at here, couple of
- 1:31:35interesting options. I mean, we waited.
- 1:31:38Now we can go get you a tight end if you want.
- 1:31:45Also just check see who's available at the running back
- 1:31:49spot. I do want to get you a solid
- 1:31:52running back 3. So we're going to go, I think
- 1:31:57I'm going to go Jalen Warren here, but I would also like Sam
- 1:32:03Lepore. That would be my second choice
- 1:32:04here on between on between two of those.
- 1:32:07I do value having a a solid dependable running back 3
- 1:32:14between Warren and Tony Pollard. I like Warren just a little bit
- 1:32:17more cuz the pat, the pass catching work and Rodgers did
- 1:32:22like throwing Kenneth Daniels gone, but Rodgers really like
- 1:32:25throwing the Kenneth Danwell out of the backfield.
- 1:32:28So we're going to go with Jalen Warren here, get a little depth
- 1:32:33going on the bench. Now, at this point, we keep
- 1:32:41moving all along. All right, here we are.
- 1:32:46This is pick. We're in around seven O 9.
- 1:32:53All right, well, and here's where you can go and fill in
- 1:32:55your tight end spot. I mean, Kittle's a very
- 1:32:58dependable tight end. He's going to be top ten again
- 1:33:02this year. His only concern, you know,
- 1:33:05maybe he'll get hurt a little bit.
- 1:33:14Yeah, I wouldn't. I'm going to probably stay away
- 1:33:16from Kyle Paints. I don't want to fall into the
- 1:33:18trap again for you. I think I'm going to go ahead.
- 1:33:21I'm going to fill in your tight end spot here and then we're
- 1:33:25going to wait and we can probably grab you a quarterback
- 1:33:29now as well. I kind of just at this point,
- 1:33:34let's see who we still got here. All right, like if you're you're
- 1:33:37at this point, these four got five guys are here, it's kind of
- 1:33:41just who you like the best. I think they're all going to
- 1:33:44have phenomenal seasons. Maybe I'm a little bust.
- 1:33:51I'm I'm going towards DAC. Like I know that that's they're
- 1:33:55saying that's a little bit above his ADP, but I wouldn't be
- 1:34:03surprised if we see DAC get close to 5000 yards this year.
- 1:34:06I'm, I'm telling you, the Cowboys are surprisingly,
- 1:34:12surprisingly locked in here. But OK, I don't know why it
- 1:34:20didn't put George Kittle in your tight end slot and why he's on
- 1:34:24the bench. That's a little buggy.
- 1:34:26You should have a tight end at this point.
- 1:34:32I mean, this is Round 9. This is great value, I think,
- 1:34:35for him here. Josh Downs really, I mean, he,
- 1:34:40he really has a shot to be wide receiver one in Indianapolis.
- 1:34:46And at this point you've got three, you've already got 3
- 1:34:50pretty good wide receivers as well.
- 1:34:52So now you can you have him here as somebody you can maybe stash
- 1:34:58and then when you look to trade one of these guys, he can slide
- 1:35:01into your lineup. I like that.
- 1:35:05I like that a lot. All right, now we're going to
- 1:35:09want to get just a little bit more running back depth here.
- 1:35:15We're going to go with Woody. Most upside here.
- 1:35:19Charbonnet has got Jadarian Price to compete with.
- 1:35:22Chris Rodriguez is probably going to lose a lot of his work
- 1:35:26with Basil Tootin, Rashad White. Yeah, he'll probably be the past
- 1:35:30catching back for a good for like a little bit at the
- 1:35:36beginning of the season. But the commanders really seem
- 1:35:38like they want to get Jacory Cross key merit involved in that
- 1:35:42and then Keaton Mitchell, a Marion in the Hamptons just so
- 1:35:46sick. I just think it's going to be
- 1:35:47tougher when they hit the field. Woody Marks is a good change of
- 1:35:51pace to David Montgomery. So I think he's just got the
- 1:35:53most potential to see see the field a lot.
- 1:36:00Or if you want, you can go MM Washington junior and grab him
- 1:36:06to have on your team for the first few weeks of the season.
- 1:36:10I'm going to go with Woody, though.
- 1:36:12I just I would like want more information on how bad that
- 1:36:15gently injury is. I don't know yet, Like how much
- 1:36:18time he's going to miss. All right, you're moving it
- 1:36:23along here next spot. Well, I mean, it's interesting
- 1:36:30that he is still here on the board.
- 1:36:34I will say I do like having a good backup quarterback.
- 1:36:38I wouldn't take taking Kyler Murray in this spot, but I'm
- 1:36:42going KC Concepcion. I mean, he's he should go in the
- 1:36:47tenth round, but he's still here in the 11th.
- 1:36:49Especially this guy, he's going to be the number one.
- 1:36:54I know the quarterback situation isn't great.
- 1:37:00He's probably not going to do great the first few weeks when
- 1:37:03the Sean's in there, but shooter is eventually going to come in.
- 1:37:06That offense has a little bit more upside with shooter.
- 1:37:09Like I I'm confident that shooter is going to see the
- 1:37:12field and then we're going to see KC conception.
- 1:37:16He's already going to be solid. I think he's going to just break
- 1:37:18out even more, but that's a great price tag for a guy with
- 1:37:24so much upside here. Wow, they just had.
- 1:37:33You know, maybe not down the field, Deshaun looks pretty
- 1:37:37rough, but give yo Todd Munkin, Brown's head coach.
- 1:37:42You got to think like what he did with Zay Flowers, who is
- 1:37:47kind of in a similar mold as KC where he's got so much
- 1:37:51athleticism. He's going to probably get KC.
- 1:37:54We saw this in the preseason a little bit too.
- 1:37:56He's going to get him involved in the running game, which I
- 1:37:58like that. I like that as well.
- 1:38:01And then the other thing is Casey's a little bit of a bigger
- 1:38:04body than Zay Flowers. So, you know, if the Browns can
- 1:38:08get into the red zone, he'll he'll see some red zone targets,
- 1:38:13things like that. And he's just, I mean, he's just
- 1:38:16so explosive. So I don't know what your
- 1:38:18scoring system is and guys other special teamers, but I wouldn't
- 1:38:24be surprised if he runs a punt back or punt or two back this
- 1:38:27season as well. I know some leagues like Wolves
- 1:38:30give you the touchdown, just not the yardage.
- 1:38:33If your guys in the return game and gets a gets a special team
- 1:38:37score. All right here at pick 12.
- 1:38:42I don't know why it's bugged and saying that George Kittle's not
- 1:38:46in our tight end spot. That's a little annoying here.
- 1:38:52I think is a good spot, though, to grab some depth at your
- 1:38:55quarterback. I do think it's important to
- 1:38:58have a solid backup. And also, I mean, just week to
- 1:39:02week, sometimes your QB is going to have a very brutal matchup.
- 1:39:08Even even if they've got a good offense, it can be a brutal
- 1:39:13matchup for a quarterback. And I mean, this, this is this
- 1:39:18is really stinky, but Jared Goff at this at this point could be
- 1:39:25your QB one once you get past. I mean, if one of your league
- 1:39:31mates is hurting for a quarterback too, like once you
- 1:39:34get past his by, you could potentially put him in the trade
- 1:39:37if you just want to ride with Doc Prescott.
- 1:39:41And then, like, I know some people, they they like to try to
- 1:39:46risk it with only one quarterback, but then you're
- 1:39:48trying to to grab the waivers. And then there are just some
- 1:39:51weeks where I I feel really bad, really uncomfortable starting my
- 1:39:56quarterback against an elite defense because I feel like,
- 1:39:59yeah, they might win the game, but that's going to be a game
- 1:40:01that they're going to win ugly. All right, in the round 13 here.
- 1:40:07If you wanted to go for a defense at this point, looking
- 1:40:13at some of the teams that are available, Packers should be
- 1:40:15really good when they get Micah back.
- 1:40:17Jesse Mincer taking over for the Ravens.
- 1:40:20I like the Eagles are going to be solid.
- 1:40:24I love Brian Flores or Brian Flores.
- 1:40:27I don't know why I pronounced it so weird.
- 1:40:29Baker lady that too. And then goth just sitting there
- 1:40:33at in the 12th round was like, I mean, hello, you got 2 great
- 1:40:38options each week. The only the only that the only
- 1:40:41conundrum there is like sometimes it might be that hard
- 1:40:44to decide who you got to start, but that's a good problem to
- 1:40:47have because that means they both should do good.
- 1:40:50Now, if you want to take a defense here, I don't hate it.
- 1:40:54Let's see, this is a standard 15 round draft.
- 1:40:58I'm the type of guy where I'm like, if I could, I might just
- 1:41:01stream a defense. I don't know if I'm not going to
- 1:41:03necessarily keep any of these guy.
- 1:41:05These teams all year. The Vikings I think have the
- 1:41:09highest possibility. I think they're massively
- 1:41:11undervalued. They were insanely dominant,
- 1:41:14especially late in the season last year.
- 1:41:17I mean, I was like they were playing with like a playoff
- 1:41:19caliber defense. They just have a high school
- 1:41:23level, a high school level quarterback, but could
- 1:41:34potentially, I think because it's bugged, it's going to make
- 1:41:37me have to draft the tight end because those are the only three
- 1:41:40spots open and it won't move George Kittle up there.
- 1:41:44If you want to go with the second tight end, you can just
- 1:41:49to give you an idea of what I might you might be looking at
- 1:41:52with this bugged Dylan Sampson. I know it's half PPR, but the
- 1:41:57just the work he could get on pass catching downs.
- 1:42:00I like Marshawn Lloyd with Josh Jacobs suspension looming,
- 1:42:05dealing with some legal trouble there.
- 1:42:08We could see we could see him be the the starting running back
- 1:42:13for Green Bay. So that's not the bad snipe this
- 1:42:15late to to go with there. I said I would probably avoid
- 1:42:22Broncos backfield. Tyler Algier is is an
- 1:42:31interesting 1. I don't hate that.
- 1:42:34Maybe even Alvin Kamara. And if you want to look at some
- 1:42:37of the wide receivers that we got available here, I'm probably
- 1:42:41going to, I'm going to try the draft Matthew Golden, because
- 1:42:44again, he's going to be the wide receiver too in Green Bay.
- 1:42:48I know it's a little weird having two receivers from the
- 1:42:51same team, but I think they both have a lot of potential.
- 1:42:59So you know who knows maybe Watson is breaking out, but then
- 1:43:04you trade him and you can just slide Golden in there and still
- 1:43:08see that see the similar production because he's going to
- 1:43:14see he's going to see a lot of work outside like he's been
- 1:43:18taking a lot of wide receiver 2 reps He's not going to be the
- 1:43:22slot guy. That's going to be more Jayden
- 1:43:23Reed. So that's that's going to give
- 1:43:26him a lot more options at his route tree.
- 1:43:29So I'm going to try to get it cool in.
- 1:43:31OK, looks like it took him all right now we got our final 2
- 1:43:39picks here. This is where our first give a
- 1:43:42defense for week 1. You're definitely going to want
- 1:43:44one there. You're not going to try to get
- 1:43:45one off of waivers. Go Green Bay.
- 1:43:50I don't think they're going to be that great to start depending
- 1:43:52on Micah Parsons timeline. Pittsburgh is always solid.
- 1:43:59I don't think the Raven Ravens did bring in Trey Hendrickson.
- 1:44:03Love Jesse Minter as a coordinator.
- 1:44:05So for me, I'm between it'd be between the Ravens and the the
- 1:44:10Vikings. I'm going to go with the Ravens
- 1:44:12just because they're in the weaker division.
- 1:44:14The Vikings pretend have like are going to have to play three
- 1:44:18very potent offenses twice a year.
- 1:44:23And so while I do think they've got the better players, they're
- 1:44:27going to have a bit of a tougher schedule.
- 1:44:28So I'm going to go in with the Ravens on this one.
- 1:44:31The benefit of playing like the Browns and Old man Rogers and
- 1:44:35the Bengals crappy offensive line twice a year and then I
- 1:44:41always just save kicker for last.
- 1:44:45That's just what I I think that's just the way to go.
- 1:44:49Kickers are they can be pretty and they're changeable.
- 1:44:54So yeah, you've I'll be looking for somebody that's on a good
- 1:44:59offense. You want a team that's going to
- 1:45:01be hitting the getting across the 50 and in field goal range a
- 1:45:10good amount. So, you know, Tyler loop was
- 1:45:16honestly pretty good despite the the the devastating miss.
- 1:45:20You know, I don't hate Trey smack here.
- 1:45:22It's kind of just who you're feeling.
- 1:45:26I would I would ignore this at this point.
- 1:45:28I mean, you know, they're you're taking them with your last tick.
- 1:45:30Chris Boswell is always very dependable.
- 1:45:33Chase McLaughlin, super accurate Bucker did struggle a bit last
- 1:45:41year, but he has been pretty dependable overall.
- 1:45:47Jake Elliott you can't really go wrong with.
- 1:45:49So I mean, at this point it's just kind of whoever you whoever
- 1:45:56you like most. I'm going to go ahead and I'll
- 1:46:00snag Boswell to be the guy for a while cuz I mean, he's just got
- 1:46:04a great leg and he's always a very dependable kicker.
- 1:46:11Well, draft probably went with Henry over a Chan sucker and
- 1:46:13just scared the talent off. Dolphins offense will do.
- 1:46:16Everything else is sold. I agree with.
- 1:46:18I appreciate it, man Yeah, I was honestly, I was looking between
- 1:46:22a Chan and and Henry as well. I just went with the Devon
- 1:46:28because he's got all the the touches, all the upside there
- 1:46:33that I like. Henry was still very dependable.
- 1:46:36There were just some points in the season where he kind of
- 1:46:40went, went cold. I had him in fantasy in a league
- 1:46:45or two, which that was was kind of frustrating to you to deal
- 1:46:51with. But yeah, Henry or a Chan,
- 1:46:54you're in a, you're in an interesting spot.
- 1:46:56If you can get JT or James Cook in that spot, I would really
- 1:47:00recommend trying to go to running backs in your first two
- 1:47:03rounds. We can mock all we want, but you
- 1:47:06just can't really prepare for some of the crazy stuff your
- 1:47:11league mates are going to do. I mean, I've seen Ashton Gente
- 1:47:16go like one O 1. That was before the injury,
- 1:47:20obviously. I mean I've seen like Josh Allen
- 1:47:24get picked in the first round. Like it like you sometimes your
- 1:47:27league mates are going to throw in the crazy strategy, but if
- 1:47:31you can go ahead and get 2 running backs early, it's a
- 1:47:35significant Cliff that the running back position falls off
- 1:47:38of. So I think, I think that's just
- 1:47:41the way to go. Thoughts on CMC if he falls
- 1:47:45there? Obviously entry concerns, but
- 1:47:46thinking, yeah, I mean, if, if some of Christian McCaffrey is
- 1:47:49there, I would absolutely go with them.
- 1:47:53You just, I mean, injury concerns are that's kind of a
- 1:47:56thing with every player. I know he's got a bit more of a
- 1:47:59history, but you just I mean, you just can't predict an injury
- 1:48:03and you can't let a fear of injury like stop you from
- 1:48:07drafting a really great player. And I mean, I know it is just
- 1:48:13happy BR. But like McCaffrey, just how
- 1:48:16with how much he gets involved in the past catching and I mean,
- 1:48:19now you think about it, you've got it's old Mike Evans, old
- 1:48:23Debo Samuel, Ricky Pierce Olds, her and maybe Kittle still going
- 1:48:29to see solid work, but he's another year older.
- 1:48:32It's Dejon Stribling. They're like CMC still going to
- 1:48:35just beast on on touches in general.
- 1:48:37I mean, he's going to he's going to probably be north of 400
- 1:48:42total touches this season. And I mean, he, again, a guy
- 1:48:48that could easily rack up, you know, like 1618 hundred close
- 1:48:53to, you know, scrimmage yards. And if he falls there, I'd be
- 1:48:58shocked because I, I didn't see him go in the top six a lot.
- 1:49:02Maybe he drops to like 8, but I, I haven't seen him drop to 9.
- 1:49:06But if he is there, I would absolutely go for him.
- 1:49:11I like the feel that that's your strategy to go for the, the 2
- 1:49:15running backs. You should be able to get like
- 1:49:18JT or James Cook in that, that range.
- 1:49:20Both of those guys, we know they're going to be, they're
- 1:49:23going to be great. And then as you come around on
- 1:49:27the flip side, yeah, I think I think Henry or a Chan should be
- 1:49:32available there for you. And then you can go get some
- 1:49:37some wide receiver upside as well.
- 1:49:40So, yeah, glad you liked your draft.
- 1:49:42Hopefully I helped you out with some of your strategization and
- 1:49:48you can go and dominate your league.
- 1:49:50Pick 9. It's a tough place to pick from.
- 1:49:53Six through 9, those are that's really the the toughest places
- 1:49:56to pick, but if you do your research and you're a savvy
- 1:50:01fantasy player, you can still win out of that position.
- 1:50:05Appreciate it. Well, I got time to do another
- 1:50:07mock draft. If anybody else is out there in
- 1:50:09the comments wants to drop their their league format and where
- 1:50:17they're picking, I can go ahead and do that for you.
- 1:50:21In the meantime, I do have a little just made a little
- 1:50:25PowerPoint. These are my predictions for
- 1:50:26where guys are going to finish in terms of top 10 fantasy
- 1:50:31production on the season. This is obviously all very
- 1:50:33hinging on nobody getting hurt. Obviously if there's injuries,
- 1:50:41that really changes the whole dynamic.
- 1:50:46But we'll just pop in and do the the slideshow.
- 1:50:48So we're going to start at the quarterback position.
- 1:50:51This is where I think roughly we're going to see the top 10
- 1:50:53fantasy point scores at the quarterback position.
- 1:50:58Again, like I love Allen. Allen's probably going to be QB
- 1:51:03number one. He's got all the rushing upside.
- 1:51:08He's the rocket arm. He's in league QB, probably the
- 1:51:11best QB in the league. He's just going, I mean, he's
- 1:51:16just going so, so early for me in a lot, a lot of places that
- 1:51:21make me like uncomfortable taking it where it's like you
- 1:51:24kind of just you can still get, I mean, like the guys I got down
- 1:51:28here, like every other quarterback below him, you can
- 1:51:32get like Lamar will probably go in, in the fourth, maybe in the
- 1:51:365th. You can get like May Hertz, Jane
- 1:51:39Daniels in the 5th. And if you're patient, I mean,
- 1:51:41you can wait until like the borough will probably go fifth
- 1:51:45or sixth round. But if you're patient, I mean,
- 1:51:46you can get Dak Herbert, T Law, Caleb, all of those guys are
- 1:51:53going to go around the 7th or eighth round.
- 1:51:57So you like, and they're they're going to have, I think pretty
- 1:52:01similar contributions to what, you know, Alan can do.
- 1:52:05So love Joshua, man. He's just going way too early
- 1:52:09for my liking. And you can just get way, way
- 1:52:12more value from other skill positions where he's going.
- 1:52:18Should I trade both of my R BS Love and Gentie for Gibbs?
- 1:52:24It would make my RB2 Jandarian Price.
- 1:52:28So you're talking Jeremiah Love and Ashton Gentie.
- 1:52:32I mean, for Jameer Gibbs, yeah, I would, I would do that.
- 1:52:38Gibbs is a guy that is probably going to come close to 2000
- 1:52:42scrimmage yards this season and now especially with Montgomery
- 1:52:48gone, I think that's just going to you're going to see more goal
- 1:52:51line work for him. I think price is you might want
- 1:52:59to scour the the waivers and see who you can find to just add
- 1:53:06some more running back depth or see if you can make a another
- 1:53:09trade for for like a bench guy just cuz that might leave you a
- 1:53:15little thin. But I think as Gibbs as your RB
- 1:53:17one, I mean, he's going to he's probably going to average close
- 1:53:21to 20 points a game this season, maybe 20.
- 1:53:25I would say probably above 20, like 22 to 23.
- 1:53:29The sea Seahawks didn't spend the first round pick on Jadarian
- 1:53:33Price to not use them. They felt comfortable letting
- 1:53:35Kenneth Walker leave and use your dare and get your daring in
- 1:53:39price. So I would take that.
- 1:53:41I would go for that trade. I mean, if you can get kids out
- 1:53:43of that gentie, who knows how long he's going to be hurt.
- 1:53:48We're still kind of waiting on the Raiders to stop being coy
- 1:53:51about his injury. And I don't like love situation.
- 1:53:55So yeah, you might be lacking, you might be a little shallow
- 1:54:00after you get behind, after you get out of your RB2 spot.
- 1:54:06But I mean, for Jamir Gibbs, I mean, you can get the number one
- 1:54:08overall prospect. I would take it.
- 1:54:11It's kind of a nice segue into my top 10 running backs.
- 1:54:17This is where I think they're all going to kind of finish on
- 1:54:18the season. I got the three best pass
- 1:54:21catching backs up there with Jamir Bijan, CMC, James Cook,
- 1:54:30Jonathan Taylor. Honestly, they could flip flop.
- 1:54:32I'm just going with Cook because he's got the better quarterback,
- 1:54:35so he's likely going to see by the boxes in the my tempting
- 1:54:39league would be Burrell, Gibbs, Price, CD, London Wilson, BTJ,
- 1:54:47Kelsey. I mean that's a really solid
- 1:54:51starting roster. I mean, if you get Gibbs, you're
- 1:54:53you're you have two first round players and Gibbs and CD land on
- 1:54:58your team. London, I really, even though
- 1:55:03that I'm not, I'm sussed out about that Falcons quarterback
- 1:55:06room, I think London's going to see a lot of still going to see
- 1:55:10a ton of targets. He'll he'll survive despite the
- 1:55:13weird situation they got Garrett Wilson going to feast.
- 1:55:17Yeah. I mean, you got a good team,
- 1:55:19man. If you can, you can put Gibbs on
- 1:55:20the that's going to be a really solid roster.
- 1:55:25I I think like really the only thing that slowly down up at
- 1:55:29that point, it would be injuries.
- 1:55:32Although what's your, what's your bench looking like?
- 1:55:34Who are some of your depth guys? I can try to tell you what you
- 1:55:37might need to go shrub at what you need to shrub for your depth
- 1:55:42wise. I think really the weakest link
- 1:55:44on that that's starting rosters is Kelsey, just because he's not
- 1:55:49this explosive anymore, but he's still Mahomes is like safety
- 1:55:55blanket. And if you're, especially if
- 1:55:56you're in PPR, he's going to have a, he's going to have a
- 1:56:00good year. Yeah, take a good look at the
- 1:56:04rest of my top 10 running backs. I think this should be roughly
- 1:56:08where you see the top 10 fantasy finishers of the season.
- 1:56:12I wouldn't be surprised if Marian Hampton jumps in here or
- 1:56:16Derrick Henry as well. Ashton Jetty's ankle injury
- 1:56:20isn't that bad. He only misses like a week or
- 1:56:22two. That made a lot of improvements
- 1:56:24the line. I think he'll be good.
- 1:56:26We're going to jump over the top ten wide receivers.
- 1:56:31I think tomorrow will be the number one.
- 1:56:32You got JSN, as #2 Puka, Nakua, Almond, Ross, CD, Justin
- 1:56:40Jefferson. I got A.J.
- 1:56:41Brown back in the top 10. This is, you know, we're going
- 1:56:46to see like shades of like 2021-2022 AJ when he first got
- 1:56:51to to Philly and just tore it up there.
- 1:56:55Yeah. Like I said, I got Mr. Garrett
- 1:56:58Wilson. Who prenegade has Hopefully I
- 1:57:02said your name right. I hope I didn't butcher that on
- 1:57:05his team like you could have. I really think bro you got the
- 1:57:08potential to have two maybe even 3 top ten wide receivers there.
- 1:57:12I like Wilson was like he was on the lowly Jets, but people
- 1:57:18forget Wilson was on a an amazing pace before his injury
- 1:57:23and they shut him down for the season.
- 1:57:26So quarterback upgrade. Plus he's got Kenyan Sadiq and
- 1:57:31Omar Cooper to help open it up and maybe ease how much coverage
- 1:57:36of defence sends his way. Yeah, I think it could be pretty
- 1:57:39sick guys that I got in here. Mecca, Bucca, lad Mcconkey or
- 1:57:45like 4th and 5th round guys I think are primed to explode.
- 1:57:50Like I said, Bucca is going to be the number one in Tampa Bay.
- 1:57:54Him and Baker got that connection.
- 1:57:56Ladd Mccock is going to be the number one at Mike McDaniel
- 1:57:59offense. Mike McDaniel with had that
- 1:58:03dolphins team in 2023 as the number one offense in the
- 1:58:06league. I think we can see something
- 1:58:08close to those those productions and that he's got a better
- 1:58:12quarterback with with Justin Herbert throwing him the ball
- 1:58:16there. Top ten tight ends is what this
- 1:58:19is what we're looking at here. Got Bowers and Trey McBride just
- 1:58:23hard that, you know, those guys are just both so dynamic and,
- 1:58:29you know, despite being on bad offenses, they were on bad
- 1:58:32offenses last year and absolutely dominated.
- 1:58:34So I just don't see any reason for that not to continue.
- 1:58:39Tyler Warren, I think could be tied in three.
- 1:58:45I mean, he's he's going to be featured a lot.
- 1:58:48So if Daniel Jones stays healthy, that's that's going to
- 1:58:53be a pretty good Colts offense and he's going to be a big
- 1:58:58reason for that. He's a he's got such speed and
- 1:59:01quickness and he's a really good route run there as a tight end.
- 1:59:04Tucker Craft, like I said, I think his explosiveness matches
- 1:59:09out of the prime Kelsey. I like Laporta just in a great
- 1:59:12situation. I think Kelsey just a target
- 1:59:16machine, Dallas Gauder guy who's going super late in drafts but
- 1:59:21LED the NFL in touchdowns from the tight end position and now
- 1:59:25AJ Brown's gone go the kickers real quick.
- 1:59:29If you need to look at the kickers, this guy's on good
- 1:59:32offenses with big legs historically and pretty accurate
- 1:59:37top 10 defenses. The top five are going to be the
- 1:59:43ones that I would, I would even bother drafting before, like
- 1:59:46your second, The last one, you can kind of strip, switch out
- 1:59:50extreme defensive, but the music is playing.
- 1:59:55That means we've reached the end of the show.
- 1:59:58Thanks for watching the Fantasy Football Frenzy.
- 2:00:02Hopefully got some good advice and you're ready to take it to
