- 0:00Speaker 1: I am Sherri Mackey, and it's time right now for
- 0:03Speaker 1: us to go to God in prayer. And as always,
- 0:05Speaker 1: I invite you to join along with me in prayer. Today,
- 0:08Speaker 1: I'm just praying for restoration, for recovery, and for victory
- 0:12Speaker 1: in our lives. Heavenly Father, in the name of... Jesus,
- 0:16Speaker 1: we come before you today believing that our losses do
- 0:19Speaker 1: not have to be the end of our story. Lord,
- 0:21Speaker 1: we've been through some things. We've experienced disappointments. We've endured setbacks.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We've shed tears and faced seasons when it seemed like
- 0:28Speaker 1: life had taken more from us than we had strength
- 0:31Speaker 1: to give. But today, Father, we come declaring we shall
- 0:35Speaker 1: recover all. Your word declares in 1 Samuel 30 and
- 0:39Speaker 1: 8 that David inquired of the Lord and the Lord
- 0:42Speaker 1: answered him. pursue, for thou shalt surely overtake them, and
- 0:47Speaker 1: without fail, recover all, so Lord, just as you strengthened
- 0:51Speaker 1: David in his moments of distress, strengthen us today, Father,
- 0:55Speaker 1: help us recover the peace we lost while worrying about
- 0:57Speaker 1: things beyond our control, restore the joy that disappointment stole,
- 1:01Speaker 1: restore the confidence that rejection tries to destroy, restore the
- 1:04Speaker 1: hope we almost gave up on, because the waiting became
- 1:08Speaker 1: too difficult, Lord, Lord, help us recover our time, not
- 1:11Speaker 1: by living in regret over yesterday, but by making wise
- 1:15Speaker 1: use of the days you've given us. Help us to
- 1:17Speaker 1: recover our purpose after seasons of discouragement. Recover our courage
- 1:22Speaker 1: after failure. Recover our faith after unanswered questions. Recover our
- 1:26Speaker 1: ability to trust after betrayal. Recover our relationships where reconciliation
- 1:31Speaker 1: is possible and healthy. Father, we pray. for recovery of
- 1:35Speaker 1: financial stability after seasons of lack, new opportunities after closed
- 1:40Speaker 1: doors and renewed strength, God, after sickness and emotional healing
- 1:44Speaker 1: after heartbreak. Restore what has been broken, God. Rebuild what
- 1:47Speaker 1: has been torn down. Revive what has grown weary on
- 1:50Speaker 1: the inside of us. Lord, deliver us. from the mindset
- 1:53Speaker 1: that tells us that it's too late, that we're too old,
- 1:56Speaker 1: that we made too many mistakes, or that we've lost
- 1:58Speaker 1: too much to begin again. Remind us that our past
- 2:02Speaker 1: may explain some of our struggles, but it certainly does
- 2:04Speaker 1: not dictate our future. Come on, Jesus. Oh, Father, give
- 2:07Speaker 1: us wisdom to recognize. What can be recovered? Courage to
- 2:11Speaker 1: pursue what you placed before us and give us the grace, God,
- 2:14Speaker 1: to release what cannot be restored in the way we
- 2:17Speaker 1: once imagined. Oh, teach us, God, that recovery is not
- 2:20Speaker 1: always receiving back exactly what we lost. Sometimes recovery means
- 2:24Speaker 1: receiving new strength, a healthier perspective, greater wisdom, deeper faith,
- 2:28Speaker 1: and opportunities we never expected. So, Lord, don't just restore
- 2:32Speaker 1: our circumstances. Restore us. Restore our minds, restore our hearts,
- 2:35Speaker 1: restore our families, restore our hope, restore our determination to
- 2:39Speaker 1: keep moving forward. When we remember what we lost, God,
- 2:42Speaker 1: remind us of what we have that remains. God, when
- 2:45Speaker 1: we feel behind, remind us that you can still lead
- 2:49Speaker 1: us into a fruitful future. When we grow discouraged, God,
- 2:52Speaker 1: remind us that one difficult chapter is not our whole story. Oh, God,
- 2:55Speaker 1: we declare that loss will not have the final word.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Disappointment will not have the final word. Our mistakes will
- 3:01Speaker 1: not have the final word. God, is still working in
- 3:04Speaker 1: our lives. There's purpose for our lives, God. There's work
- 3:07Speaker 1: for us to do. Oh, God, give us grace for
- 3:09Speaker 1: the journey ahead. Father, give us the faith to pursue,
- 3:12Speaker 1: the strength to persevere, and the wisdom to rebuild. We
- 3:15Speaker 1: will not spend the rest of our lives mourning what's gone.
- 3:18Speaker 1: With your help, God, we will rise. We will rebuild.
- 3:20Speaker 1: We will recover. We will move forward. When restoration comes,
- 3:24Speaker 1: we will give you, God, all the glory. We will
- 3:27Speaker 1: recover our joy. We will recover our hope. We will
- 3:30Speaker 1: recover our strength. And by your grace, we will move
- 3:33Speaker 1: forward into all you prepared for us in the name
- 3:36Speaker 1: of Jesus. Amen, amen, and amen.
