Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:02
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over the past eight or nine months, the
• 0:08
Speaker 1: Congressional Oversight Committee looking into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal has
• 0:12
Speaker 1: had a revolving door of people coming in to have
• 0:15
Speaker 1: a chat. Well, today, Tuesday, June ninth, twenty twenty six,
• 0:21
Speaker 1: that revolving door swings again, and this time it's Leslie
• 0:25
Speaker 1: Groff who's on deck. And while there's never been any
• 0:28
Speaker 1: accusation that Leslie Groff took part in any abuse, I
• 0:33
Speaker 1: don't think there's any doubt that she was a key
• 0:36
Speaker 1: cog in the Epstein machine. And without Leslie Groff, Jeffrey
• 0:39
Speaker 1: Epstein couldn't have done what he did. But here's the
• 0:42
Speaker 1: big problem. The government never charged Jeffrey Epstein with RICO.
• 0:47
Speaker 1: So if it wasn't a recal operation in the government's size,
• 0:50
Speaker 1: then how can they charge Leslie Groff? They can, And
• 0:54
Speaker 1: like I told you from the very beginning, that was
• 0:57
Speaker 1: all by design. This has never been about get to
• 1:00
Speaker 1: the bottom of anything. And I hate to say it,
• 1:03
Speaker 1: this committee is no different. Their goal isn't to figure
• 1:07
Speaker 1: out what happened and hold people accountable. Their goal is
• 1:10
Speaker 1: to control the blast radius, and unfortunately they've done a
• 1:13
Speaker 1: pretty good job. I mean, the topic certainly doesn't have
• 1:16
Speaker 1: the momentum that it had before. Everybody's talking about Iran.
• 1:20
Speaker 1: Everybody's talking about this, that or the other thing. Meanwhile,
• 1:23
Speaker 1: these scumbags are happy as hell, swimming around in their
• 1:26
Speaker 1: money like Scrooge McDuck and screwing the rest of us. Still,
• 1:30
Speaker 1: But I mean, what does that matter with all the
• 1:32
Speaker 1: winning that's going on with Iran? Right? I mean, how
• 1:34
Speaker 1: can we stomach all this winning? I mean, is there
• 1:36
Speaker 1: a more jubulant feeling than paying ninety bucks to fill
• 1:39
Speaker 1: up your sedan? I mean, not to very too far
• 1:41
Speaker 1: off course here, but what did we gain? What was
• 1:44
Speaker 1: gained by the whole entire thing in Iran? But putting
• 1:48
Speaker 1: some distance between the Epstein files and the administration, do
• 1:53
Speaker 1: you really think they're not gonna have nuclear weapons anymore?
• 1:55
Speaker 1: All this is is Obama two point zero. But I
• 1:58
Speaker 1: guess it's okay this time because you know your guy.
• 2:02
Speaker 1: Today's article is from The Guardian and the headline Jeffrey
• 2:05
Speaker 1: Epstein assistant Leslie Groff set to testify before the House panel.
• 2:10
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Anna Betts. Leslie Groff, Jeffrey
• 2:14
Speaker 1: Epstein's longtime executive assistant, is testifying on Tuesday before the
• 2:19
Speaker 1: House Oversight and Reform Committee as lawmakers on the panel
• 2:23
Speaker 1: continued their investigation into the late convicted sex offender. And
• 2:26
Speaker 1: do we really think that Leslie Groff doesn't have a
• 2:28
Speaker 1: story to tell. She most certainly does. She knows the who's,
• 2:33
Speaker 1: the whys, the whens, and the wares, and up until
• 2:37
Speaker 1: this point she hasn't come forward and talked about any
• 2:41
Speaker 1: of it. Groff worked for Epstein for almost twenty years,
• 2:46
Speaker 1: beginning in two thousand and one and ending in July
• 2:49
Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, when he was arrested. Notes from a twenty
• 2:52
Speaker 1: twenty one FBI interview with Groff, which was included in
• 2:56
Speaker 1: the millions of documents related to Epstein released by the
• 2:59
Speaker 1: Department Adjusts earlier this year, state that she told the
• 3:02
Speaker 1: agents that she began working for Epstein after she was
• 3:05
Speaker 1: contacted by a headhunter who found her resume and told
• 3:08
Speaker 1: her that there was a job to organize one man's life.
• 3:13
Speaker 1: And Okay, I get it. That sounds like a great job, right,
• 3:16
Speaker 1: But once you're there and you see what's going on,
• 3:20
Speaker 1: all those excuses go out. The window. Let's not act
• 3:23
Speaker 1: like you're being forced to do this. She had no
• 3:26
Speaker 1: problem doing this job because she was being rewarded handsomely,
• 3:30
Speaker 1: a lot of money, a lot of prestige, use of
• 3:33
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's jets, his apartments, all of it, and that allure.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: It draws people in and people who are willing to
• 3:41
Speaker 1: go to great lengths to try to rationalize that kind
• 3:44
Speaker 1: of shit with themselves as long as they're benefiting monetarily
• 3:48
Speaker 1: or in other ways. What do they care about these kids?
• 3:51
Speaker 1: What do they care about these women from Russia? Not
• 3:55
Speaker 1: their problem? Right? The man turned out to be Jeffrey Epstein.
• 4:00
Speaker 1: Groff told agents that she had not previously heard of them.
• 4:03
Speaker 1: She said that she interviewed with several people for the position,
• 4:06
Speaker 1: including Epstein and Glene Maxwell, Epstein's longtime associate who's currently
• 4:11
Speaker 1: serving a twenty year prison sentence for sex trafficking crimes.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: According to the FBI document, Groff said that she signed
• 4:19
Speaker 1: a non disclosure agreement. Well, yeah, they all do, they
• 4:22
Speaker 1: all did, but that shit doesn't mean anything in criminal court.
• 4:28
Speaker 1: Criminal court is where NDA is going to die. So
• 4:31
Speaker 1: the NDA that's going to protect you from embarrassing you know,
• 4:35
Speaker 1: talk in public. That's not going to protect you from
• 4:38
Speaker 1: a federal investigation, or at least it shouldn't. But when
• 4:42
Speaker 1: it comes to people like Jeffrey Epstein, of course different
• 4:45
Speaker 1: rules right rules for them and then rules for us.
• 4:50
Speaker 1: The document states that Groff told agents that her responsibilities
• 4:53
Speaker 1: included scheduling meetings, making phone calls, coordinating with Epstein's driver
• 4:58
Speaker 1: in chef and other people, and managing much of his
• 5:01
Speaker 1: daily schedule and appointments. According to the FBI notes, Groff
• 5:06
Speaker 1: told investigators that from the beginning, massage was part of
• 5:09
Speaker 1: Epstein's day. They were normal appointments. Groff's job was to
• 5:14
Speaker 1: make appointments. The FBI notes say to Groff, making massage
• 5:17
Speaker 1: appointments was just another appointment she made for Epstein, adding
• 5:22
Speaker 1: that Epstein would call Groff in the morning and say
• 5:25
Speaker 1: something like, call and see if she can do a
• 5:27
Speaker 1: massage at fourteen. You know what. That's all fine and well,
• 5:32
Speaker 1: but when you're calling a high school girl, I would
• 5:35
Speaker 1: think that you know what's going on? Now She'll say,
• 5:38
Speaker 1: I had no idea how old she was. But how
• 5:41
Speaker 1: many of you believe that? Do you really think that
• 5:44
Speaker 1: these people that were working together, that were in Epstein's
• 5:48
Speaker 1: orbit didn't talk. They knew what was going on. They
• 5:52
Speaker 1: all chose to look the other way. That's my opinion,
• 5:55
Speaker 1: and I think the contemporaneous facts back that up. But
• 5:58
Speaker 1: the hard part is, how do you prove that. You
• 6:01
Speaker 1: can't prove that in a court of law. Right, So
• 6:04
Speaker 1: unless you charge them with RICO, there's nothing you can do.
• 6:08
Speaker 1: Your hands are tied as law enforcement. In recent years,
• 6:12
Speaker 1: Groff has faced public scrutiny after it emerged that she
• 6:15
Speaker 1: was among four women identified as possible co conspirators and
• 6:19
Speaker 1: granted immunity from prosecution under Epstein's controversial two thousand and
• 6:23
Speaker 1: seven plea deal with federal prosecutors in Florida. So if
• 6:27
Speaker 1: she wasn't a co conspirator, why did they give her immunity?
• 6:32
Speaker 1: Please stop insulting our intelligence. Holy fuck. When asked last
• 6:37
Speaker 1: month about Graff's knowledge of details surrounding Epstein's two thousand
• 6:41
Speaker 1: and eight conviction, her attorney Michael Backner, told the Guardian
• 6:45
Speaker 1: that after Epstein's arrest in two thousand and eight, he
• 6:48
Speaker 1: continuously lied to Leslie and other members of the staff,
• 6:51
Speaker 1: insisting that he had been blackmailed and set up. So
• 6:55
Speaker 1: you believe it. Just take him at face value. The
• 6:58
Speaker 1: government was in on it. Everybody was fucking Jeffrey Epstein.
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: That's the deal. I mean, it's a good excuse, but
• 7:06
Speaker 1: no competent person's buying it. If I was working for
• 7:09
Speaker 1: somebody and they got nailed for picking up little girls
• 7:13
Speaker 1: and then called them a prostitute, the second I heard
• 7:16
Speaker 1: the news, I would quit, have a little bit of integrity, Like,
• 7:21
Speaker 1: I understand, we have bills to pay, and yeah, there's
• 7:23
Speaker 1: other jobs, there's other shit to do, and there's other
• 7:27
Speaker 1: people to work for. But for twenty years, well, Leslie
• 7:32
Speaker 1: Groff had no desire to do any of that. Backner
• 7:36
Speaker 1: added that Epstein angrily said that the allegations against him
• 7:39
Speaker 1: were simply false and he had no idea that the
• 7:42
Speaker 1: prostitute he had contact with was a minor, adding that
• 7:45
Speaker 1: in Leslie's mind, that was the reason that he was
• 7:48
Speaker 1: treated so leniently by law enforcement before and after he
• 7:51
Speaker 1: was sentenced. Like, you don't go to an escort a
• 7:56
Speaker 1: professional somebody that wants to be doing what they're doing, because,
• 8:00
Speaker 1: believe me, I have no problem with people who want
• 8:03
Speaker 1: to engage in, you know, sex work. I don't care
• 8:06
Speaker 1: not my business. Nothing I do. But I'm not everybody else,
• 8:11
Speaker 1: and not everybody else is me, and not everybody has
• 8:13
Speaker 1: the same moral compass. I get that, and I'm certainly
• 8:16
Speaker 1: not somebody that gives a shit what anybody does in
• 8:18
Speaker 1: their bedroom. But the whole story here about how she
• 8:21
Speaker 1: had no idea about how he was being blackmailed. Who
• 8:26
Speaker 1: buys that? Does anybody out there really buy that? And
• 8:29
Speaker 1: to tell you the truth, I highly doubt that twelve
• 8:32
Speaker 1: jurors would buy it either. Imagine being a jur getting
• 8:36
Speaker 1: all the evidence in a RICO case and then Leslie
• 8:39
Speaker 1: Groff telling you she doesn't know. I don't think that
• 8:42
Speaker 1: would work out. For In fact, what you would see
• 8:46
Speaker 1: is everybody turning on everybody else, and that is why
• 8:50
Speaker 1: we don't have Rico. The Epstein files released by the
• 8:56
Speaker 1: Justice Department also included an internal FBI document from twenty
• 9:00
Speaker 1: nineteen that list eight people as possible co conspirators, including Groff.
• 9:05
Speaker 1: In a statement to NBC News earlier this year, Groff's
• 9:09
Speaker 1: lawyer said that she'd never seen the document and was
• 9:12
Speaker 1: unaware of it. Well, that's because they never pursued it.
• 9:15
Speaker 1: There was never a real investigation. Just like I told you,
• 9:19
Speaker 1: saw those dumb motherfuckers out there that cry and bitch
• 9:21
Speaker 1: and moan, and we're on bullshit narratives that this has
• 9:24
Speaker 1: all been investigated. They're liars, the whole last lot of them,
• 9:28
Speaker 1: a bunch of propaganda push in punk ass liars. In fact,
• 9:35
Speaker 1: neither Leslie nor counsel were ever notified by law enforcement
• 9:38
Speaker 1: that she was considered an Epstein co conspirator, her lawyer said.
• 9:42
Speaker 1: On the contrary, after Leslie voluntarily spoke with prosecutors and
• 9:46
Speaker 1: answered each and every question asked of her, she was
• 9:48
Speaker 1: told that she was not being prosecuted. Well that's a
• 9:52
Speaker 1: big problem too, Do you guys not get it. It's
• 9:54
Speaker 1: not just about what Epstein did, It's about what the
• 9:56
Speaker 1: government did. And I wish people would just wake up
• 10:01
Speaker 1: and see the forest through the trees here. Whenever we
• 10:03
Speaker 1: have a Republican administration, the Democrats, well they can't wait
• 10:08
Speaker 1: to tell you how much they don't trust the government. Meanwhile,
• 10:13
Speaker 1: you have all the people that were just telling us
• 10:15
Speaker 1: under Biden that the government can't be trusted, Well, they're
• 10:18
Speaker 1: all big time fans of the government now, and the
• 10:20
Speaker 1: government's doing the right thing, and the storm's gathering, and
• 10:24
Speaker 1: where we go one we go all. The truth is,
• 10:29
Speaker 1: the government doesn't give a fuck about you, and it
• 10:32
Speaker 1: doesn't matter what party's in power. And the sooner you
• 10:35
Speaker 1: guys wise up to that shit, the better off we're
• 10:37
Speaker 1: all gonna be. Do you think these people really care
• 10:40
Speaker 1: about you while you're fighting with all your friends or
• 10:44
Speaker 1: not inviting your cousin Jodah Christmas because he has a
• 10:47
Speaker 1: different political view than you. Meanwhile, all these people behind
• 10:50
Speaker 1: the scenes, they're living it up. You ever hear a
• 10:53
Speaker 1: k fabe and wrestling. They may pretend their enemies right,
• 10:58
Speaker 1: but behind the scenes, obviously it's all fake and their
• 11:01
Speaker 1: friends sam in politics, these people despise you, so why
• 11:06
Speaker 1: in the hell would you run cover for them? Why
• 11:09
Speaker 1: in the hell would you defend their bullshit on a
• 11:11
Speaker 1: regular basis. Groff's name also appeared in a twenty twenty
• 11:18
Speaker 1: FBI interview with a survivor of Epstein's abuse, in which
• 11:21
Speaker 1: the person whose name is redacted said that they felt
• 11:25
Speaker 1: like Groff knew what was going on and knew the
• 11:27
Speaker 1: massage appointments were sexual, but the person acknowledged that they
• 11:30
Speaker 1: never said anything to Leslie about the massages. Following Epstein's death,
• 11:35
Speaker 1: Groff along with several other employees and associates of Epstein,
• 11:39
Speaker 1: was named in several civil lawsuits filed by survivors against
• 11:43
Speaker 1: Epstein and his estate. Some plaintiffs accused her of facilitating
• 11:47
Speaker 1: his abuse. Groff's attorney has said that she never engaged
• 11:52
Speaker 1: in any misconduct and never knowingly made travel arrangements for
• 11:55
Speaker 1: anyone under eighteen. The civil claims against Groff were later dismissed. Yeah, well,
• 12:01
Speaker 1: what about travel arrangements for women who are being trafficked?
• 12:04
Speaker 1: Ever make those? Did you ever schedule a flight for
• 12:08
Speaker 1: somebody to come from point A the point B, crossing
• 12:12
Speaker 1: state lines or international lines with the express purpose of
• 12:16
Speaker 1: them being abused or used for sex? Well, then congratulations,
• 12:20
Speaker 1: you're now part of the conspiracy. Her lawyer has also
• 12:25
Speaker 1: said the allegations against Groff in civil suits simply wrong, confused,
• 12:30
Speaker 1: and devoid of any facts establishing that she had any
• 12:33
Speaker 1: idea of Epstein's horrible and nefarious conduct. Groff was subpoenaed
• 12:38
Speaker 1: by the House Committee in March to appear before the
• 12:40
Speaker 1: panel for an interview. Due to public reporting documents released
• 12:44
Speaker 1: by the Department of Justice and documents obtained by the committee,
• 12:48
Speaker 1: the committee believes you have information that will assist in
• 12:52
Speaker 1: its investigation, the letter from Representative James Comer, the Republican
• 12:56
Speaker 1: who chairs the committee, reads. Last month, another one of
• 13:00
Speaker 1: Epstein's former assistants, Sarah Kellen, also testified before the House
• 13:04
Speaker 1: Committee as part of their investigation. In her testimony, Kellen
• 13:08
Speaker 1: denied she was an accomplice of Epstein and said that
• 13:11
Speaker 1: she was sexually and psychologically abused by the late financier
• 13:15
Speaker 1: during her employment. And look, like I've said, I have
• 13:19
Speaker 1: no doubt that Sarah Kelln was abused. That doesn't give
• 13:22
Speaker 1: her immunity from the shit she did, though, And unless
• 13:25
Speaker 1: she provides some actionable intelligence on somebody, well she should
• 13:29
Speaker 1: be right up there with everybody else when it comes
• 13:32
Speaker 1: to investigations. And now that we're done with the Pam
• 13:34
Speaker 1: Bondi transcript, we're going to be diving in to the
• 13:38
Speaker 1: Sarah Kelln transcript. We'll see what she had to say.
• 13:41
Speaker 1: And then after their released this Leslie Groff transcript, well
• 13:44
Speaker 1: we'll be diving into that bad boy too. So until then,
• 13:47
Speaker 1: that's going to do it for this one. All the
• 13:49
Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: the description box.
