- 0:24Speaker 1: It is time believe your worries outside and laugh with
- 0:29Speaker 1: us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Mallley along with Trey Trenholm.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Happy Tuesday, Tray, Happy Tuesday to you, Dan, Thank you sir.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Today is Tuesday, January twenty eighth, twenty twenty five. And
- 0:44Speaker 1: while the year is twenty twenty five, the struggle for
- 0:50Speaker 1: equality goes on, not just racial equality, but gender equality
- 0:58Speaker 1: because we're in the twenty first and there are still
- 1:01Speaker 1: parts of our communities that don't get treated the same
- 1:05Speaker 1: as me and Trey. Don't get me wrong, there are
- 1:09Speaker 1: times where Trey and I are up on our lily
- 1:13Speaker 1: white pedestals and look down among the rest of those
- 1:17Speaker 1: underserved communities and think we've had it pretty good for
- 1:20Speaker 1: quite a while. Very true, but that's not fair, and uh,
- 1:27Speaker 1: it's a little racist and a lot discriminatory. And the
- 1:33Speaker 1: world has evolved over time, We as a species have evolved,
- 1:40Speaker 1: and while still plenty of work left to do, we've
- 1:46Speaker 1: made some headway. But it's sort of a two steps forward,
- 1:51Speaker 1: one step back type of dance, right, And this is
- 1:57Speaker 1: a really great example of that. Gender equality, gender equality,
- 2:01Speaker 1: especially in sports. Not just that, but equal pay among
- 2:07Speaker 1: the sexes. It's only fair that a woman should be
- 2:10Speaker 1: paid the same as a man for the same work
- 2:16Speaker 1: in sporting events. Though that's where it gets a little murky,
- 2:19Speaker 1: because sporting events have sponsors and advertising dollars money attached
- 2:25Speaker 1: to it. So while NBA players might make forty million
- 2:28Speaker 1: dollars a year male NBA players, their female counterparts in
- 2:33Speaker 1: the WNBA make a fraction of that. Yes, and that's
- 2:37Speaker 1: the case for most of the For most sports is
- 2:40Speaker 1: the men make more well.
- 2:44Speaker 2: And I'm not saying that it's always fair or right,
- 2:47Speaker 2: but like for the WNBA, you do have to factor
- 2:51Speaker 2: in that as a league, the WNBA loses money every
- 2:53Speaker 2: year where the NBA makes hundreds of millions of dollars.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yep.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I mean that's you know, probably the greatest disparity of
- 3:05Speaker 2: success and pay is in soccer. And it's gotten better
- 3:11Speaker 2: for the national teams. But for a while, the women's
- 3:15Speaker 2: national team was grossly underpaid and they were by far
- 3:18Speaker 2: you know, they won two World Cups, three World Cup.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I mean, they were incredibly successful.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Now does the men's World Cup bring in a lot
- 3:27Speaker 2: more sponsorship dollars, Yes, it does, but you know, and
- 3:31Speaker 2: they have slowly rectified that at least with the national
- 3:34Speaker 2: teams and sharing the wealth. But yes, a lot of
- 3:37Speaker 2: times it is not fair.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Right, There are realities at play, and then there's also
- 3:45Speaker 1: our pull on fairness. Then there's instances of gender inequality
- 3:52Speaker 1: that you just can't ignore, like this headline from the
- 3:55Speaker 1: World ski People World Cup Skiing. As a reward for
- 4:06Speaker 1: finishing first in qualifying at a ski jumping World Cup event,
- 4:11Speaker 1: organizers presented the male winner with three thousand Swiss francs,
- 4:17Speaker 1: which is three and ninety US dollars. The female winner,
- 4:22Speaker 1: on the other hand, Selena fry Tag, got thousand shampoo.
- 4:29Speaker 2: At It makes me feel like that they weren't going
- 4:35Speaker 2: to give her anything, and then they just raided the
- 4:37Speaker 2: hotel room and said here.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Look, this is the equivalent of a man scrambling to
- 4:42Speaker 1: find Valentine's Day gift.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Yes, at five pm on Valentine's Day.
- 4:48Speaker 1: And you're in the old crap tents in front of
- 4:50Speaker 1: the grocery store, just scrounging for whatever is left.
- 4:54Speaker 4: According to.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Selena fried Tag, the female winner, she said, I received
- 4:59Speaker 1: a partner bag with shower gel and shampoo and four
- 5:03Speaker 1: hand towels.
- 5:04Speaker 4: You're right, tray.
- 5:04Speaker 1: This absolutely sounds like the organizers of the ski event
- 5:07Speaker 1: just raided their hotel rooms. Skiing's governing body FIS told
- 5:14Speaker 1: CNN that female winners of qualifying events don't receive prize
- 5:18Speaker 1: money like their male counterparts. They said the gift also
- 5:22Speaker 1: included a voucher for a weekend of wellness treatments and
- 5:25Speaker 1: was certainly well intentioned, but it's understandable that it may
- 5:28Speaker 1: have generated frustration and given a bad impression if seen
- 5:32Speaker 1: as formal compensation for the victory. This was not the case,
- 5:35Speaker 1: So there you have a trade. This was informal compensation.
- 5:39Speaker 1: So the male winner of the qualifying got over three
- 5:43Speaker 1: thousand dollars. The female winner of the qualifying got absolutely nothing,
- 5:49Speaker 1: but as an informal gesture, she was given a hand towels, shampoo,
- 5:55Speaker 1: and a gift card for a spa.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Day, which it sounds like they need most sports, most stuff.
- 6:03Speaker 2: You don't get prizes for qualifying. Yeah, really, and especially
- 6:10Speaker 2: ski jumping where you're you're potentially breaking your neck literally.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Uh yeah, it seems like they could have divvied that
- 6:20Speaker 2: up a little bit better or just you know, just
- 6:22Speaker 2: not done it and just giving them both, you know,
- 6:25Speaker 2: get certificates to a wellness center if you don't break
- 6:28Speaker 2: your neck.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I wonder if after afterwards, if if, if the women
- 6:37Speaker 1: are allowed to just beg for money, as when they
- 6:40Speaker 1: get to the bottom of the hill, like just take
- 6:42Speaker 1: off their helmet and passing around to be like, you know,
- 6:45Speaker 1: alms for the females kind of.
- 6:47Speaker 4: A thing, will jump for food, yes, exactly.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Event organizers at this World Ski event told CNN that
- 6:57Speaker 1: f i S regulations do not provide fun for the
- 7:00Speaker 1: winner of the women's qualifying round to receive prize money.
- 7:04Speaker 1: They added that they thought it would be a nice
- 7:06Speaker 1: gesture to present a small gift when congratulating the winner
- 7:08Speaker 1: of the qualification, and they find it difficult to understand
- 7:11Speaker 1: why offering a gift is a significant issue when no
- 7:15Speaker 1: prize money is involved. Anyway, look as if it's bad
- 7:19Speaker 1: enough that the women competitors don't get prize money for
- 7:22Speaker 1: this qualifying skiing event, they served lunch, and at lunch,
- 7:27Speaker 1: the male competitors got sandwiches. The women had to make them.
- 7:38Speaker 5: You're listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online at Treehouse

- 8:05Speaker 1: the restoration part of the side of the business also

- 8:11Speaker 1: inside the home as well. And you were telling me
- 8:15Speaker 1: just recently that you, Daniel and Cook DFW Roofing and
- 8:20Speaker 1: Restoration offer lifetime warranties on all your work.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:24Speaker 6: Dan, that's something that we talked about for a while
- 8:26Speaker 6: now and we decided to go ahead and just pull
- 8:28Speaker 6: the trigger on it. We've had excellent reviews, we've had
- 8:31Speaker 6: excellent referrals. People really love our work when they give
- 8:34Speaker 6: us a chance, and we just want to put our
- 8:37Speaker 6: money where our mouth is. And you know, that's the
- 8:39Speaker 6: best way I can always say that is just back
- 8:42Speaker 6: it up. Back it up. When I was growing up
- 8:44Speaker 6: and I told somebody who's gonna kick their ass, you
- 8:46Speaker 6: got to back it up. Well, now that I'm a

- 9:13Speaker 1: As you just heard, even if he dies, he's still
- 9:16Speaker 1: going to honor this stuff. I mean, that's that's that's
- 9:19Speaker 1: some serious integrity and quality craftsmanship to have the confidence
- 9:23Speaker 1: to be like, yeah, this is how we do things.

- 10:01Speaker 1: you Inside the Treehouse Today on Tuesday, January twenty eighth,
- 10:05Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Not to brag or nothing, but we're
- 10:09Speaker 1: experts on all things stupid here inside the Treehouse show.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Trey and I have decades of experience dealing with it,
- 10:17Speaker 1: not only in reporting it, but also dealing with it.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yet extensive history. Okay, and so when when I tell
- 10:29Speaker 1: you that stupid knows no limits, I mean it. And
- 10:35Speaker 1: this is one of the classic examples of it. I
- 10:38Speaker 1: say classic, but this is actually a modern example of
- 10:42Speaker 1: stupid knowing no limits. Okay, Trey, I want you to
- 10:46Speaker 1: imagine you're a drug kingpin. Okay, you're living the life.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You're wealthy beyond belief. You're selling poison to the masses,
- 10:56Speaker 1: and they thank you for it up until the moment
- 10:58Speaker 1: that they may die. But the point is you're loaded.
- 11:02Speaker 1: That's the plus side for you. The downside for you
- 11:06Speaker 1: is you're a wanted man.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yes, but you know, generally drug kingpin, you're you're going
- 11:12Speaker 2: to leave a live a very.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Secretive life. Typically I mean, I mean you're smart. Yeah, Well,
- 11:24Speaker 1: were dealing stupid around here. So Trey may actually be
- 11:29Speaker 1: a secret drug kingpin, but we wouldn't know on this
- 11:33Speaker 1: side because Trey's smart. Not all drug kingpins are created equal. Okay,
- 11:39Speaker 1: there is one particular man. His name is Luis Manuel
- 11:42Speaker 1: Picado Realba. He's forty three and he was recently arrested
- 11:47Speaker 1: at a London airport after he was accused of shipping
- 11:50Speaker 1: cocaine from Costa Rica.
- 11:52Speaker 4: To the United States. Now that's what will get.
- 11:57Speaker 1: You on a most wanted list, But what gets him
- 12:00Speaker 1: caught is.
- 12:02Speaker 4: The stupid part.
- 12:03Speaker 1: See, he and his wife went on vacation and while
- 12:06Speaker 1: they were on vacation, she took all sorts of sexy
- 12:09Speaker 1: photos in her bikini at the beach, and then she
- 12:13Speaker 1: posted them on Instagram, where the DEA was following her account,
- 12:18Speaker 1: and they pinpointed her location, which got their location to him.
- 12:24Speaker 4: And now he's behind bars.
- 12:26Speaker 1: So a drug kingpin is behind bars all because his
- 12:29Speaker 1: wife posted thirst traps on Instagram.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even know where to go with that.
- 12:47Speaker 2: What can you do? If you're a drug kingpin, you
- 12:51Speaker 2: generally you have some level of intelligence that has gotten
- 12:54Speaker 2: you to that point where you have mastered the distribution
- 12:59Speaker 2: everything else and don't you have to know that your
- 13:05Speaker 2: wife has an Instagram accountant. That's, you know, potentially bad.
- 13:13Speaker 1: I know, bro, I know, the alleged kingpin who rarely
- 13:19Speaker 1: traveled with his thirty two year old wife, and now
- 13:22Speaker 1: we know why reportedly purchased twenty thousand dollars worth of
- 13:26Speaker 1: plane tickets to fly his wife and family to Europe.
- 13:31Speaker 1: He met his wife in Paris. They planned to ring
- 13:33Speaker 1: in the New Year with his family in England before
- 13:35Speaker 1: he got arrested. To document the vacation, his wife made
- 13:38Speaker 1: several posts to a now deleted Instagram account during their
- 13:42Speaker 1: European lavish travels. One post captured the couple posing underneath
- 13:47Speaker 1: the Eiffel Tower, and they frequently traveled abroad and posted
- 13:51Speaker 1: about adventures, especially the wife, and she would post these
- 13:55Speaker 1: things across her social media. She boasted about her vacations
- 13:58Speaker 1: on sunny beaches, where she was spotted holding two parrots
- 14:02Speaker 1: in one of the most iconic basic travel bitch photos,
- 14:07Speaker 1: and in Rome where she sat in front of the
- 14:08Speaker 1: trebbe Feltain Dea agents who've been tracking her since they
- 14:13Speaker 1: took off from Costa Rica's airport, used the post of
- 14:16Speaker 1: the couple in Paris to the suspected drug kingpin's location,
- 14:20Speaker 1: and the arrest was approved after the DEA obtained an
- 14:23Speaker 1: international warrant to which I'm sure England was all too
- 14:26Speaker 1: happy to oblige. Go like you may take your idiot now.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, you would think they'd learned from Pablo and
- 14:38Speaker 2: really you don't. Don't travel and if you do, to
- 14:41Speaker 2: non extradition countries.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Mm hm, non extradition countries. And for the love of God,
- 14:47Speaker 1: tell your wife not to post where you are on vacation.
- 14:51Speaker 1: These are the types of things like is there not
- 14:54Speaker 1: a drug like a kingpin wife orientation that that they
- 14:59Speaker 1: go through, honey, if you would like to continue vacationing
- 15:03Speaker 1: to these exotic places, stop posting about it. But it
- 15:08Speaker 1: just goes to show that in the twenty first century,
- 15:10Speaker 1: social media is king and even the wives of drug
- 15:15Speaker 1: kingpins can't resist the urge to do it for the.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Gram and at least you snapchat.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Yeah, or at least there's the illusion that goes away
- 15:28Speaker 1: in twenty four hours.
- 15:32Speaker 3: You're in the tree house.

- 16:19Speaker 4: Obviously we're a little bias, but we think you'll enjoy it.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Dan, along with Trey inside the Treehouse with you today.
- 16:25Speaker 1: One more little nugget, Tray on that story about the
- 16:28Speaker 1: drug kingpin who got busted by the DEA because his
- 16:32Speaker 1: wife was posting thirst trap photos on Instagram on their vacation.
- 16:37Speaker 1: So they were based in Costa Rica. That was his
- 16:40Speaker 1: base of operations for his you know, drug network, which
- 16:44Speaker 1: was smart, like you said, to do this country exactly
- 16:49Speaker 1: do illegal things in non extradition countries. Costa Rica is
- 16:54Speaker 1: a non extradition country. However, once they decided to take
- 16:57Speaker 1: their family vacation into Europe, they left themselves wide open
- 17:04Speaker 1: and the DEA knew that and that's why as soon
- 17:06Speaker 1: as the wives started posting from points that were not
- 17:10Speaker 1: in Costa Rica, They're like, oh, we gonna get you,
- 17:13Speaker 1: and that's what they did. So, I mean, you started
- 17:16Speaker 1: out smart then got real stupid, real fast.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Catch it, Lee fuire a green screen, so you know
- 17:23Speaker 2: she can post from.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Yeah, a green screen or a dummy phone that you
- 17:31Speaker 1: tell hers connected to the internet but it's.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Not yeah yeah, or just tell her okay, baby, all
- 17:38Speaker 2: these photos are fun. When we're back home, then you
- 17:41Speaker 2: can post exactly.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Then it would be like be like you're trolling the dea.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Look where we went that you didn't catch us because
- 17:49Speaker 1: now we're back in Costa Rica where you can't get us.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Oh no, she had to go ahead and post them.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Uh So anyway, that was a great story. It's a
- 17:57Speaker 1: great example of us showing you how we know that
- 18:00Speaker 1: stupid knows no limits. And there's another one that I'm
- 18:05Speaker 1: excited to share with you today, and that is Trey.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I think this holds true more for you than it
- 18:12Speaker 1: does me. But I think most men recognize that a
- 18:15Speaker 1: right of passage in our lives is beating our father
- 18:20Speaker 1: at something overcoming or championing whatever. There's a thing like
- 18:27Speaker 1: every family may have a thing. It might be beating
- 18:29Speaker 1: your dad at basketball. It might be, you know, beating
- 18:33Speaker 1: your dad at chess, some type of thing that your
- 18:35Speaker 1: dad just beats you into the dirt to help build character, right,
- 18:40Speaker 1: and then eventually you grow up enough to where you win.
- 18:45Speaker 2: No, mine literally was being able to run faster than him,
- 18:48Speaker 2: so he could not beat my ass into the dirt.
- 18:52Speaker 1: And that was a huge moment for both us. I mean,
- 18:56Speaker 1: it was great for you because you learned a lot
- 18:58Speaker 1: that day, and it was it was for your dad
- 19:00Speaker 1: because he also learned a lot that day and he
- 19:03Speaker 1: realized that, well, okay, my son's becoming a man now,
- 19:07Speaker 1: and also a very fast man. But these stories don't
- 19:12Speaker 1: always end up the way yours did, Trey. And this
- 19:16Speaker 1: is not an American only type of situation. This happens
- 19:20Speaker 1: in other countries too. And here's, like I said, here's
- 19:22Speaker 1: a great example of that. There's a ten year old
- 19:24Speaker 1: boy in China and his dad reprimanded him because he
- 19:30Speaker 1: didn't finish his homework on time. Right, So dad gets
- 19:33Speaker 1: mad at the sun because he didn't finish his homework
- 19:36Speaker 1: on time. And after this severe scolding, what does this
- 19:39Speaker 1: ten year old do. He decides to leave the house
- 19:43Speaker 1: and he went to a nearby store and asked if
- 19:46Speaker 1: he could use their phone. The fifth grader dialed China's
- 19:50Speaker 1: emergency services number, and asked to speak to police. And
- 19:53Speaker 1: when he got police on the phone, he told them,
- 19:57Speaker 1: my dad does drugs. So the lesson here is if
- 20:04Speaker 1: you're going to reprimand your child for not doing his homework,
- 20:08Speaker 1: make sure he doesn't know about all the skeletons in
- 20:11Speaker 1: your closet because it might come back to bite you
- 20:15Speaker 1: in the ass, which is exactly what happened here. He
- 20:19Speaker 1: called the police and he claimed that he had proof
- 20:22Speaker 1: that his father was concealing poppy shells, which is considered
- 20:26Speaker 1: any illegal drug, and that he had it at home.
- 20:28Speaker 1: And then he waited calmly for the police to arrive,
- 20:30Speaker 1: and then they took him and then and then he
- 20:33Speaker 1: took them to the house so they could conduct the
- 20:35Speaker 1: search and arrest the dad. Oh, this is it's a
- 20:45Speaker 1: difficult lesson. I'm sure for a father to learn when
- 20:48Speaker 1: your son bests you at something, but this is a
- 20:51Speaker 1: is a is a level. I don't think any father
- 20:52Speaker 1: could ever be prepared for.
- 20:55Speaker 2: No, and you know, then you have the okay, but
- 21:01Speaker 2: I'll get out eventually.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the threat you better go to Costa Rica.
- 21:15Speaker 2: A couple of years from now. You know, there's gonna
- 21:18Speaker 2: be another story. Dad might be going right back to jail.
- 21:24Speaker 4: But he's gonna have a tear drop tattoo.

- 22:38Speaker 1: Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholme inside the Treehouse with
- 22:41Speaker 1: you today Tuesday, January twenty, twenty twenty five. Trey was
- 22:46Speaker 1: a surfing You were surfing the internet that last break? Well,
- 22:49Speaker 1: was it that you just saw what event is coming up?
- 22:52Speaker 1: That I'm not going to.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Headline? You can watch Jaws while floating in the ocean
- 23:01Speaker 2: at night.
- 23:05Speaker 4: No, I won't.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Uh uh.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I don't know how many nopes I've been given throughout
- 23:12Speaker 1: my lifetime, but I would happily shove them all in
- 23:17Speaker 1: on that event. Absolutelyking, not ever, not a chance. I
- 23:23Speaker 1: don't even know if I do it in a.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Pool, no, yeah, I don't know. Maybe a pool, but
- 23:30Speaker 2: no natural body of water like no river, no lake,
- 23:37Speaker 2: because ocean especially f No for the biggest reason, which
- 23:45Speaker 2: is I would embarrass myself so badly because anytime anything
- 23:53Speaker 2: brushed and against my leg I would be streaming like.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Yes, like a girl, like a girl getting murdered. At
- 24:05Speaker 1: the beginning of Jaws, where Where's where is this event
- 24:11Speaker 1: that I'm not ever going to go to happening?
- 24:13Speaker 2: Uh? It's actually it seemed like such a Florida thing.
- 24:17Speaker 4: It does sound like a Florida thing.
- 24:19Speaker 1: It would be perfect if it was Martha's vineyard because
- 24:22Speaker 1: that's where they shot the original Jaws, and it was
- 24:26Speaker 1: the fake town of Amity or whatever it was, the
- 24:30Speaker 1: fake town and yeah, the fake well that's that's a
- 24:33Speaker 1: different horror movie. But I think it was like Amity's whatever.
- 24:35Speaker 1: The fake town in Jaws is basically Martha's vineyard. That's
- 24:40Speaker 1: where they shot it, so that would be very fitting.
- 24:45Speaker 2: It says, this is this is an old story, but
- 24:48Speaker 2: Valente Beach Resort and Beachside Billy's in Texas.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Oh so Texas. You know what, this makes sense because
- 24:59Speaker 1: I thought I heard something about an event like this before.
- 25:02Speaker 1: You said, this is an old story. Hmm okay, uh,
- 25:06Speaker 1: this might be an older story. But I've heard of
- 25:07Speaker 1: these events a lot. This is a this is a
- 25:10Speaker 1: great example of it. It's a there's a new thing
- 25:13Speaker 1: in the marketing world called it's like immersive marketing. It's
- 25:18Speaker 1: there's like a buzzword for it that I've seen, you know, immersive.
- 25:23Speaker 1: It's experiential marketing. That's what it is. That's where you
- 25:26Speaker 1: get people involved in things or inside of a little world,
- 25:32Speaker 1: like like when you have a bar that changes over
- 25:36Speaker 1: its entire theme into a Harry Potter bar or a
- 25:39Speaker 1: friend's coffee shop that a pop up thing. That that
- 25:44Speaker 1: sort of experiential marketing. But it's great for headlines. But
- 25:50Speaker 1: I'd be curious to know how many people actually showed
- 25:52Speaker 1: up at that event.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. And who's I mean, only company
- 25:59Speaker 2: I can think that would benefit it from doing experiential marketing.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Something like this would be depends.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Not only to hold all of your but you're in
- 26:13Speaker 1: the ocean and leakproof yeah, actually would be a great
- 26:18Speaker 1: test of the product. Yeah, yeah, look, I get it.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I think it's great for headlines. But that would be
- 26:24Speaker 1: one of those If I came up with the idea
- 26:26Speaker 1: for the event, I would happily organize it and promote it.
- 26:29Speaker 4: I wouldn't go to it. I wouldn't do it.
- 26:34Speaker 1: But this lends itself to other experiences as well, because
- 26:37Speaker 1: if you're going to do Jaws at Night in the Ocean,
- 26:40Speaker 1: there are other movies you could tap into and have
- 26:42Speaker 1: similar events.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Guess the other thing is if I go back, if
- 26:47Speaker 2: I was still drinking and I did this, I would
- 26:50Speaker 2: be the one, you know that would start going, oh.
- 26:52Speaker 4: My god, there's a shark.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Honestly, honestly, if if you told me that you were
- 27:01Speaker 1: going to this event, I would know you were drinking again.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, sort of like they say, uh, you wouldn't.
- 27:11Speaker 1: It's like if you were to fall off the wagon
- 27:13Speaker 1: after eight years of sobriety, you may not tell anybody,
- 27:16Speaker 1: but there would be signs.
- 27:17Speaker 4: This would be one of them.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, I mean that this opens the door
- 27:22Speaker 1: for other experiential possibilities. You know, Jaws at Night in
- 27:26Speaker 1: the Ocean is absolutely terrifying. You can watch Friday the
- 27:31Speaker 1: thirteenth in the woods at camp or in a lake,
- 27:34Speaker 1: because that's you know, when Jason comes up, you know,
- 27:36Speaker 1: grabs people. Lake Placid on Lake Placid.
- 27:39Speaker 4: Hello.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I think there there are opportunities here that I think
- 27:45Speaker 1: a lot of people have not done. So there's there's
- 27:48Speaker 1: an inspiration here that people can can take from Jaws
- 27:54Speaker 1: at night in the ocean, especially in Texas, you can't
- 27:59Speaker 1: see you can't see a foot into the water anyways.
- 28:02Speaker 4: You really have no idea what's grabbing your leg?
- 28:07Speaker 2: Yeah? No, uh uh I no, none of it.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I mean.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Like watching Titanic on a cruise ship.
- 28:15Speaker 1: No, some things you just don't do.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, because.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Then you're just tempting fate, right, yes.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Yes, you are just asking for something to hit the ship,
- 28:31Speaker 2: you know, and and go down and and then you're
- 28:37Speaker 2: you're you're, you're the part of the band on the deck, just.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Just fiddling away.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 28:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:46Speaker 1: I see Lake Placid on Like Placid, Friday the thirteenth
- 28:49Speaker 1: at camp obviously, Jaws watching Jaws in the ocean.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I mean, a pretty woman in a hotel.
- 28:59Speaker 8: Yeah, uh yeah, or you go to an actual brothel
- 29:04Speaker 8: and and and you pop it in surrounded by surrounded
- 29:07Speaker 8: by the girls.
- 29:09Speaker 9: Yeah, actually it would be a that'd be a great
- 29:13Speaker 9: event at was it Cadillac Ranch or whatever it is
- 29:17Speaker 9: outside of Vegas where they have the actual legal brothels.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Yeah, best little worehouse in Texas.

- 31:00Speaker 1: We stopped watching that show near the end kind of.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I don't know, if it's kind of got tired of
- 31:04Speaker 1: the characters or the stories, or that the kid actors
- 31:08Speaker 1: growing up and most of them not being as good
- 31:10Speaker 1: of actors as young adults as they were as little kids.
- 31:13Speaker 4: I don't know. But Ariel Winter turns twenty seven today.
- 31:18Speaker 2: She's the one that was kind of frumpy on the
- 31:20Speaker 2: show but is actually a smoke show. Correct.
- 31:24Speaker 1: She had an interesting body arc. She was young and
- 31:29Speaker 1: very thin and then really got into adolescents and she
- 31:33Speaker 1: added some weight, and then she dropped some weight and
- 31:39Speaker 1: she was real big into you know, flaunting what she's got,
- 31:43Speaker 1: kind of a thing, you know, big body positivity person.
- 31:47Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, I believe that's what you're talking about.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Trada. Anyway, she is twenty seven today. Happy birthday to her. Well.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Poulter is thirty three. He's Galley, the Enforcer in the
- 31:58Speaker 1: Maze Runner movies. He's also Kenny the Virgin and We're
- 32:01Speaker 1: the Millers, which, by the way, if you have not
- 32:03Speaker 1: seen We're the Millers is fantastic. He's the one in
- 32:07Speaker 1: the movie where he gets bitten on his balls by.
- 32:09Speaker 4: A spider.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Jennifer Aniston, Ted Lasso, I'm brain farting Jason Sedakis, and
- 32:19Speaker 1: in This Guy, Will Polter. He was also in the Revenant.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I didn't really remember him there, but he was also
- 32:26Speaker 1: in Guardians of the Galaxy three as Adam Warlock. That's
- 32:32Speaker 1: Will Poulter yep part of the Marvel Family now rapper
- 32:35Speaker 1: j Cole is forty Elijah wood Is forty four, best
- 32:39Speaker 1: now known as Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the
- 32:42Speaker 1: Rings trilogy. Before that, he was in a number of
- 32:45Speaker 1: movies as a kid, including but not limited to Radio Flyer.
- 32:51Speaker 1: That was a movie I had forgotten about long ago
- 32:54Speaker 1: until there's an Instagram account I follow and it showed
- 32:57Speaker 1: a clip of it at the end where he he's
- 33:00Speaker 1: making this. You know, he's helping his brother make this
- 33:02Speaker 1: escape from an abusive father kind of thing with their
- 33:04Speaker 1: home built radio Flyer wagon that turns into a plane
- 33:08Speaker 1: kind of a thing. Uh, really touching. Sweet film and
- 33:14Speaker 1: Happy birthday to.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Elied You would forty four today.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Nick Carter from The Backstreet Boys, He's forty five. Joey
- 33:20Speaker 1: fat One, I mean, Fotone is forty eight from in Sync.
- 33:24Speaker 1: That's just a real unfortunate name if you're if your
- 33:26Speaker 1: last name is fotone, but when you see it, it
- 33:28Speaker 1: spells fat one. I would do my damnest to not
- 33:32Speaker 1: be the.
- 33:32Speaker 4: Fat one in Sync, But but he was, But buddy was.
- 33:37Speaker 1: I mean, that's just how the cookie crimbleson some right
- 33:43Speaker 1: into the mouth sometimes.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Uh.
- 33:45Speaker 1: But again that's just me, and it's it's tough, you know,
- 33:48Speaker 1: and you're you're in the limelight like that, you're in
- 33:50Speaker 1: a boy band and you're the big one.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm sure those those royalty checks sue the pain.
- 34:00Speaker 4: That one, not necessarily in body, but in wallet.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Yeah, let's see, speaking of heft, the oversized rapper from Miami,
- 34:09Speaker 1: Rick Ross is forty nine. Catherine Morris from Cold Case
- 34:13Speaker 1: is fifty six. Sarah McLoughlin is fifty seven. She's the
- 34:18Speaker 1: one that we now when we hear her music In
- 34:22Speaker 1: the Arms of an Angel, we all think about the
- 34:24Speaker 1: sad puppies and kittens struggling in shelters around the world.
- 34:31Speaker 1: And I can't hear that song now without thinking about
- 34:34Speaker 1: cold shaking puppies, and I hate her for it. M well,
- 34:41Speaker 1: keeping in mind, I'm big into rescue. But even me, man,
- 34:44Speaker 1: I can't watch that. It's too hard.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't. You want to talk about just turning
- 34:50Speaker 2: the mood. Oh, you're just you get me in the
- 34:53Speaker 2: greatest mood watching one of those commercials and then it's
- 34:55Speaker 2: just depressing. Minute I hear those notes, I'm changing the channel.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Changing the channel, and if I can't find the remote,
- 35:02Speaker 1: I will rip that TV off the wall. And I
- 35:07Speaker 1: still am not allowed at Larry North Fitness because of
- 35:10Speaker 1: one time.
- 35:10Speaker 4: I did that at his gym. He was not pleased,
- 35:13Speaker 4: but he understood.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Barbie Benton turned seventy five. She is the gorgeous Hehaw
- 35:17Speaker 1: star who appeared in a.
- 35:19Speaker 4: Number of Playboy spreads.
- 35:21Speaker 1: She also lived with Hugh Hefner from nineteen sixty nine
- 35:23Speaker 1: to nineteen seventy six.
- 35:26Speaker 4: That's a pretty good run. It does a good run.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Yeah, she was a trailblazer. She actually got kef when
- 35:32Speaker 1: he was on a normal age gap kind of a thing.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Jeh famous. I almost said ballerina. Damn it, that's really
- 35:44Speaker 1: really sexist of me. Legendary ballet dancer Mikhail Barishnikoff is
- 35:50Speaker 1: seventy seven. What is a what is a male ballet
- 35:57Speaker 1: dancer referred to because female.
- 35:58Speaker 4: We know that's ballerina.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Is it? Is it ballerina?
- 36:07Speaker 4: I'm gonna say yes, just because.
- 36:13Speaker 10: I'm must show myself outline.

- 37:09Speaker 1: the Treehouse just a little bit left here inside before
- 37:13Speaker 1: we close up for the day. Jerry, you were just
- 37:16Speaker 1: telling me I'm training the break that your house is
- 37:19Speaker 1: a little sickly right now. The girlfriend is not feeling well.
- 37:22Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah, she's cold flu. Nothing's fallen off, I forget,
- 37:31Speaker 12: but I'm not really sure. It could just be the
- 37:34Speaker 12: general cold weather malaise.
- 37:36Speaker 4: Or you know. We were at the dog park the
- 37:41Speaker 4: other day.
- 37:41Speaker 12: All the humans were standing together in a group and
- 37:44Speaker 12: this old guy comes hobbling up he's one of the
- 37:46Speaker 12: regulars too, you know, and he's like.
- 37:48Speaker 4: Oh, I just got out of the emergency room. We're like,
- 37:50Speaker 4: oh no, what happens? I have the flu? Two kinds.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Get away from us, you old.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Wonderful, wonderful good to hear her.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I realized that COVID and the pandemic turned into a
- 38:06Speaker 1: political lightning rod for a lot of people. But I
- 38:09Speaker 1: would like just just one thing for people to take
- 38:13Speaker 1: out of that event, that historical event of all of
- 38:16Speaker 1: our lives, and that is keep your sickness at home.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Right and carrying is carrying, except in this case.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Right cough, sneeze into your elbow pit. I was able
- 38:29Speaker 1: to form a new habit by doing that.
- 38:31Speaker 4: You can too.
- 38:32Speaker 1: But just if nothing else, just keep your sick to yourself.
- 38:36Speaker 4: I don't want it.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Don't spread it around to anyone else because they don't
- 38:39Speaker 1: want it either. Absolutely, absolutely, there is a little bit
- 38:45Speaker 1: of uh sickness in my house in my house right now,
- 38:48Speaker 1: nothing contagious.
- 38:49Speaker 4: So you guys are fine.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Uh.
- 38:51Speaker 4: I don't know if you.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Can see this on my hand, I got the little
- 38:54Speaker 1: bug bites there on my hand. Oh yeah, so you know,
- 38:57Speaker 1: my wife has the event planning business. And we had
- 39:01Speaker 1: a wedding the other day that I had to officiate.
- 39:05Speaker 1: And you guys, you're familiar with mosquitoes, obviously, but no
- 39:09Speaker 1: sums are are a thing. They're also known biting midges. Midges,
- 39:15Speaker 1: not midjets. We're not getting canceled here, although biting midgets
- 39:18Speaker 1: would be a lot funnier. But these tiny insects you
- 39:22Speaker 1: really can't see them. That hints the name no sums.
- 39:25Speaker 1: And I'm wearing a suit, I'm officiating this wedding and
- 39:28Speaker 1: I could feel them biting my hand any exposed skin.
- 39:33Speaker 4: I had those little bastards.
- 39:39Speaker 1: In between my knuckles, look in between my knuckles on
- 39:42Speaker 1: my hand, in the webbing in between my middle and
- 39:45Speaker 1: index finger. I've also I've got two on the back
- 39:49Speaker 1: of my head. Those little GIRs got me in the
- 39:52Speaker 1: back of the head.
- 39:53Speaker 4: Did they get into the more sensitive areas?
- 39:56Speaker 3: Not on me?
- 39:57Speaker 4: Tera unfortunately, was wearing a skirt. Oh yeah, they love
- 40:01Speaker 4: those two, yep, yep.
- 40:03Speaker 1: I love it there too. I told her, I said, well,
- 40:09Speaker 1: can you can you blame them?
- 40:12Speaker 2: I'm sure that went over really well.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Yeah. I went over my head about as well as
- 40:17Speaker 4: their crowbar.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Yeah, So anyway, uh, The point is when you go outside,
- 40:25Speaker 1: don't take anything for granted. Use your bug spray and
- 40:29Speaker 1: spray in places even even where you think they won't
- 40:33Speaker 1: dare go spray there, don't leave anything to question, don't
- 40:38Speaker 1: take any chances.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Spray everywhere.
- 40:41Speaker 1: That's that's my PSA to you today inside the Treehouse.
- 40:46Speaker 12: You could bug weather every day of the year. They're
- 40:48Speaker 12: on the island, don't you. Mh yep uh.
- 40:53Speaker 1: And it doesn't matter you're you're gonna get chewed up
- 40:56Speaker 1: one way or the other. So spray even where the
- 41:00Speaker 1: sun don't shine.
- 41:02Speaker 2: There isn't a certain irony to spraying your junk with off.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I believe that is the quote of the century. Trade
- 41:21Speaker 1: Well said, are you really just fine work? Not just ironic,
- 41:37Speaker 1: but just damn good advice for all things Threehouse go
