- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites, presented by DraftKings. This is the
- 0:13Speaker 1: week eleven Sunday recap. I'm stuck he joined by Evan
- 0:18Speaker 1: Abrams and Kendrim Middleton. What a day in the NFL.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Delivered pretty much the entire day. I don't know if
- 0:25Speaker 1: you want to count the game in Spain is counting
- 0:29Speaker 1: as delivering. But it went to overtime. It made the
- 0:32Speaker 1: wait for the early slate a little less torturous, so
- 0:36Speaker 1: I count it. That wasn't the prettiest game of the day.
- 0:40Speaker 1: We had what eight red zone trips with one touchdown
- 0:42Speaker 1: only three punts. He had it finished sixteen thirteen. Some
- 0:46Speaker 1: coaching mauthpractice across the board. But it was fun nonetheless,
- 0:50Speaker 1: But we're going to get to all the games today.
- 0:51Speaker 1: So much to talk about, Evan, I guess we can
- 0:56Speaker 1: speA can start with goats and wotes. Do you have
- 0:57Speaker 1: a goat and a vote from today?
- 1:01Speaker 2: I mean hard not to be Carolina back over five
- 1:04Speaker 2: hundred heck of a comeback. I don't think anything was
- 1:07Speaker 2: really Bryce Young related, but I think as a team
- 1:09Speaker 2: redo the whole crowd, I mean, great for Carolina and
- 1:12Speaker 2: also JSN. I hadn't seen the seventy five plus yards
- 1:15Speaker 2: in his first ten games. He's the first receiver ever
- 1:18Speaker 2: to do that seventy five plus so and that one
- 1:21Speaker 2: headed catch stuck. He just made that look so easy.
- 1:24Speaker 2: What a crazy wide receiver by the day. Crazy.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Yeah, he's unbelievable. The Seahawks get the cover, but not
- 1:32Speaker 1: the win. There's a couple key parts of that. So
- 1:36Speaker 1: the Rams score touchdowns. Part of that is their thirteen
- 1:39Speaker 1: personnel within the ten yard line, the things that they
- 1:41Speaker 1: can run off that with, what they what Stafford sees
- 1:44Speaker 1: the defender is doing when Adams is out, and then
- 1:45Speaker 1: you have the three tight ends. It's cheat code mode
- 1:49Speaker 1: right now and no one has been able to stop it.
- 1:50Speaker 1: The Seahawks didn't score touchdowns until the end. They kicked
- 1:53Speaker 1: too many field goals. Their defense kept a minute play
- 1:56Speaker 1: of the game though. Coffin corner punt by the Rams
- 2:01Speaker 1: in the final minute, just a beautiful punt that it's
- 2:05Speaker 1: like those Madden games you used to play. Did you
- 2:07Speaker 1: ever play the coffin corner Madden games? And it just
- 2:11Speaker 1: touched right at the almost at the pylon, bounced up
- 2:13Speaker 1: and then out of bouts and then the Seahawks just
- 2:15Speaker 1: didn't have. They did a really good job of getting
- 2:17Speaker 1: it down there as close as they could, but the
- 2:19Speaker 1: field goal was so long they ended up missing it.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Rams hold on for a huge win to take over
- 2:25Speaker 1: first place in the NFC West. Kendre, I'll go to
- 2:28Speaker 1: you your goat. I know it's not God. Any one
- 2:30Speaker 1: of the Chiefs are two kings in a Queen parlay.
- 2:33Speaker 1: You laughed at us for the Jags and Panthers. You
- 2:36Speaker 1: went with the Chiefs. The Chiefs go down in Denver.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Do you have a goat from today?
- 2:42Speaker 3: My wote is myself because I had my first losing
- 2:46Speaker 3: day of the entire season. And not only was it
- 2:48Speaker 3: a losing day, I went over for and I ruined
- 2:51Speaker 3: our parlay. So my wote is definitely myself and my goat.
- 2:54Speaker 4: I think I'm gonna go with Basil two.
- 2:56Speaker 3: And he had a hell of a day for the Jags,
- 2:58Speaker 3: got them rolling, got them rolling early. It was good
- 3:00Speaker 3: to see him kind of finally get the playtime that
- 3:03Speaker 3: I think that he deserved. Maybe my goat's actually Liam Cohen.
- 3:06Speaker 3: He called a really good game today. I have to
- 3:08Speaker 3: be honest, I was very impressed with the game that
- 3:10Speaker 3: he called.
- 3:11Speaker 4: I still no, I'm not that. I literally was talking
- 3:15Speaker 4: about this before you got on.
- 3:16Speaker 2: The playoff position. We're in playoff position, but two.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Games up basically on the Chiefs y loss, they're basically
- 3:21Speaker 1: two games clear the wildcard.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Stucky Love you mean it. This is your first time
- 3:26Speaker 3: being a Jags fan. This is your first time in
- 3:28Speaker 3: Jags fandom. I know how this ends. I promise you.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I've been here before, I have seen this. I know
- 3:34Speaker 3: how this ends. Trevor Lawrence is going to throw some
- 3:37Speaker 3: disgusting interception.
- 3:39Speaker 4: The Titans are going to beat us. The Colts are
- 3:40Speaker 4: going to.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Beat us twice. This is just I've been here before.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I know how this goes. I've seen it happen for
- 3:46Speaker 3: thirty years.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I think this this year is different that the Jags
- 3:51Speaker 1: now sitting at six and four on the year, two
- 3:54Speaker 1: games clear the Chiefs, because that head to head win
- 3:57Speaker 1: coming up on the schedule for the Jags, the Cardinals,
- 4:00Speaker 1: the Titans. They have two games with the Colts, i'd
- 4:02Speaker 1: I guess they split them, the Jets, the Broncos. That's
- 4:07Speaker 1: pretty easy. Close to the season for the Jags. I
- 4:09Speaker 1: think the most impressive part of the Jags win today, No,
- 4:13Speaker 1: not all I mean it was dominant. It was the
- 4:14Speaker 1: most dominant win of any team today by far. I mean,
- 4:16Speaker 1: at one point in the second half, the plays were
- 4:18Speaker 1: thirty four to four. Their run game completely dominated. The
- 4:23Speaker 1: Chargers have struggled to defend the run all year. They
- 4:25Speaker 1: weren't healthy. I mean they went without their tackle. Strange
- 4:29Speaker 1: didn't go, Thomas didn't go. Yeah, Tuton was incredible and
- 4:33Speaker 1: he got hurt. We'll see, but the Jags were far
- 4:37Speaker 1: from healthy today. Their injury report ended up being extremely bleak.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And they go out there and just kick the shit.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Jake's just on the Chargers, they really do.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I was a completely dominant victory for Jacksonville, and yeah,
- 4:51Speaker 1: we'll talk about well, I guess do you have a
- 4:54Speaker 1: vote before I give mine, Evan.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I mean, there's just so many today. I feel like
- 4:58Speaker 2: there was a lot of disappointing before ormanses, like I
- 5:00Speaker 2: listed Herbert and Donald, the Falcons in general, like McCarthy,
- 5:05Speaker 2: the Cardinals. There was a lot of teams that just
- 5:08Speaker 2: absolutely tongs today and looked terrible. But I guess Donald
- 5:12Speaker 2: almost won the game with four interceptions, which would have
- 5:14Speaker 2: been golf like, but it didn't happen.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Yeah, that's certainly worth mentioning that the Seahawks had a
- 5:19Speaker 1: chance to win at the end with a minus four
- 5:23Speaker 1: turnover margin and a million field goals. There were one
- 5:27Speaker 1: for four in the red zone and they still had
- 5:30Speaker 1: a chance to win. So but it seemed like the
- 5:34Speaker 1: Rams were They were well schooled and like jumping some
- 5:37Speaker 1: of the routes that the Seahawks have been running, and
- 5:39Speaker 1: then they flustered. Their pressure really got to Donald. But
- 5:41Speaker 1: I thought the Seahawks defense, all things considered, played very
- 5:44Speaker 1: very well. My goat, I'll go, let's see. I guess
- 5:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with Miles Garrett. I had the Browns
- 5:56Speaker 1: and had a hold on for dear life because Schador
- 5:59Speaker 1: saying came in. By the way, I should have mention,
- 6:01Speaker 1: Michael Pennix also got hurt. That kind of changed the
- 6:03Speaker 1: game a bit for the Falcons. But Shador sta. Miles
- 6:09Speaker 1: Garrett became the first player in NFL history with twelve
- 6:12Speaker 1: plus sacks in six straight years. Never been done before.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I mean what he has like twenty sacks of his
- 6:19Speaker 1: last four games or something. Hit four sacks again today.
- 6:22Speaker 1: He was an absolute menace throughout that game. The Ravens
- 6:25Speaker 1: offense was stuck in the mud until the end. A
- 6:28Speaker 1: couple of things worth noting in that game, the fake
- 6:32Speaker 1: Tush push. I don't know if I would have brought
- 6:35Speaker 1: it out there. I mean, you need every win, so
- 6:39Speaker 1: it's just awesome play call, which basically won in the game.
- 6:44Speaker 1: And I will say, tush pushes. You see it with
- 6:46Speaker 1: the Seahawks.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Do it?
- 6:48Speaker 1: You saw Cousin sneak it. If you're not sneaking it
- 6:50Speaker 1: on fourth and one, or you utilizing the touch push
- 6:53Speaker 1: or practicing it, I don't know what are you doing.
- 6:55Speaker 1: But I will say Browns fans booing Gabriel and then
- 7:00Speaker 1: he goes out. I don't think they knew how good
- 7:03Speaker 1: they had it. It's weird to say about Dylan Gabriels
- 7:05Speaker 1: in one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL. But
- 7:07Speaker 1: Sanders finished four sixteen for forty seven yards in a pick.
- 7:10Speaker 1: He did complete the one pass that mattered when they
- 7:12Speaker 1: were back. They needed to complete the one pass to
- 7:14Speaker 1: cover and he hit fan in. But he there's a
- 7:19Speaker 1: reason he's not starting, like he has more tools, but
- 7:22Speaker 1: like the rumors are, he's not watching film. He can't
- 7:24Speaker 1: read a defense and you could tell that. I mean
- 7:26Speaker 1: he if he starts next week. I mean it's I
- 7:29Speaker 1: think it's they play the Raiders. What his pressure to
- 7:31Speaker 1: sack ratio is going to be like sixty percent, and
- 7:34Speaker 1: he's gonna throw picks. I mean, he should have thrown
- 7:36Speaker 1: a pick six to Hamilton that got dropped. He threw
- 7:39Speaker 1: a pick, a horrible pick early. He had a grounding
- 7:43Speaker 1: inside the five. It was. It was not pretty. I
- 7:49Speaker 1: will tell you that I was. That was the longest
- 7:51Speaker 1: fifteen minutes having a Browns plus eight ticket. When they're
- 7:53Speaker 1: up six in the fourth quarter. It's the longest fifteen
- 7:56Speaker 1: minutes of my life. I was like, there this, this
- 7:58Speaker 1: is gonna go south somehow. But the Ravens hold on
- 8:00Speaker 1: for a twenty three sixteen victory. Yet, so five hundred
- 8:05Speaker 1: on the season, setting up some showdowns with the Steelers
- 8:10Speaker 1: coming up that will likely determine the division. Steelers get
- 8:15Speaker 1: the win, defense scored a bunch of touchdowns. Bengals are
- 8:18Speaker 1: a mess. Rogers did get hurt. Rudolph came in in
- 8:22Speaker 1: the second half acquitted himself well, but that was more
- 8:26Speaker 1: about the Steelers defense than just the Bengals being a
- 8:28Speaker 1: complete mess. I will say one big takeaway from the
- 8:32Speaker 1: Steelers Darnell Washington. Oh my god, get that guy the
- 8:36Speaker 1: ball in space and he just ragged out people. So
- 8:40Speaker 1: Steelers get the win there, Kendra, any do you have
- 8:44Speaker 1: any takeaways from any other games or anything you wanted
- 8:46Speaker 1: to mention.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I was just really impressed with the Panthers today. The
- 8:50Speaker 3: Commanders bet that I sweat really ruined my day, set
- 8:54Speaker 3: me off on a bad foot. I think JJ McCarthy sucks.
- 8:59Speaker 4: I think the Packers are mid That's kind of my
- 9:02Speaker 4: big takeaway.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Chargers are frauds. I still am impressed with the Seahawks
- 9:05Speaker 3: despite that. We got vintage Sam Darnold today.
- 9:10Speaker 1: You're out on your Chargers. Now, just give give the
- 9:12Speaker 1: Jacks credit. Give say good job Jags. No, you can
- 9:16Speaker 1: do it. They won.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I can't anybody who loses to the Jags or frauds.
- 9:20Speaker 2: But the Jags can never be like good. That's talent,
- 9:22Speaker 2: That's that's the negative attitude of the situation.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Well, maybe the Chiefs are frauds thirty five to six, crazy, yeah.
- 9:29Speaker 4: But like the Jags own the Chargers.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I was impressed by the Jackson. It was the best factas.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Number has never beaten the Jaguars.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I will say the Chargers offensive line an issue going
- 9:40Speaker 1: on the road. I mean, you look at their road
- 9:41Speaker 1: performances this year with a beat up offensive line, barely
- 9:44Speaker 1: beat the Dolphins, lost to the Giants, get dominated by
- 9:47Speaker 1: the Jags, It's going to be a problem. You mentioned
- 9:50Speaker 1: the Packers.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Wait, the Browns. They showed some fight today too, though
- 9:53Speaker 4: they shouldn't have lost that game.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Your Ravens at home, Cleveland's better.
- 9:57Speaker 1: It's a different team in Cleveland. Defense at home is
- 10:00Speaker 1: a jog.
- 10:00Speaker 4: You guys here on the broadcast.
- 10:02Speaker 3: This might have just been something that was driving me insane,
- 10:04Speaker 3: but every time Red Zone went to the Browns game,
- 10:07Speaker 3: there was somebody beating on trash cans loud as hell
- 10:11Speaker 3: on the microphones. It was driving me so insane every
- 10:14Speaker 3: time they went to that game.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I heard that happens at Brownsie. I've been in
- 10:18Speaker 1: many many of Brown's games. Unfortunately, the factor is sadness.
- 10:21Speaker 1: But yeah, I was picking the mooney lot. I've been
- 10:26Speaker 1: there many times. It's quite an experience. But yeah, if
- 10:30Speaker 1: you mentioned the Packers, they get a win over the Giants.
- 10:33Speaker 1: The full Jamis experience. You had Jamis going forward on
- 10:36Speaker 1: fourth downs, making incredible throws and then it ends on
- 10:40Speaker 1: a pick in the end zone, and then really really
- 10:42Speaker 1: ended when he fumbled when the game was already over.
- 10:44Speaker 1: But Packers, more injuries, more drops, but Love stepped up
- 10:50Speaker 1: that throw, the third down throw, then the Watson catch
- 10:53Speaker 1: in the corner of the end zone, the two point conversion,
- 10:55Speaker 1: which may or may not have mattered to some of you.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I thought I was impressive, but Jacobs goes down. I mean,
- 11:03Speaker 1: this team is getting beat up and is going to
- 11:05Speaker 1: be a concern. But they needed to get that win,
- 11:08Speaker 1: and they did what else forty nine Ers Cardinals. I mean,
- 11:15Speaker 1: do you want to you wanna look at a funny
- 11:17Speaker 1: box score? Go look at the forty nine ers Cardinals
- 11:20Speaker 1: box score. Jacoby Brissettes, that's an NFL record with forty
- 11:25Speaker 1: seven completions. The Cardinals out gained the forty nine Ers
- 11:29Speaker 1: four eighty eight to two eighty one, seven yards per
- 11:33Speaker 1: play to five point four. They lose by nineteen.
- 11:37Speaker 4: I was today years old when I found out brock
- 11:38Speaker 4: Perty was a dad. By the way, I.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Didn't know, Yeah, a game new dad.
- 11:46Speaker 3: She is probably like eight nine months old. She was
- 11:48Speaker 3: on the sidelines with him today. I was like, Wow,
- 11:50Speaker 3: aren't you like a little like. I guess it's crazy
- 11:52Speaker 3: to say that anybody who's in like a professional field
- 11:54Speaker 3: is a little young to be a dad. But like,
- 11:57Speaker 3: no tea, no shade, do your thing. I just was
- 11:59Speaker 3: shocked to see that he had like almost a one
- 12:01Speaker 3: year old child.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I don't know how I missed that so pretty I
- 12:05Speaker 1: thought it looked okay. I mean, how did they win
- 12:08Speaker 1: by nineteen getting out gained by two hundred the yards well,
- 12:11Speaker 1: first play the game ninety eight yard kick return, The
- 12:15Speaker 1: Cardinals had three turnovers, and they set a franchise record.
- 12:19Speaker 1: There were many records in this game by the team
- 12:21Speaker 1: that lost, and an NFL record for completions in a
- 12:25Speaker 1: game and a franchise record for penalties in a game.
- 12:28Speaker 1: The penalty splits in this game seventeen for one thirty
- 12:32Speaker 1: for Arizona, one one penalty. There's a plus sixteen and
- 12:38Speaker 1: penalty margin and a plus three turnover margin. That forty
- 12:41Speaker 1: nine ers defense is still completely broken. Just had some
- 12:46Speaker 1: turnovers today, but the Cardinals were moving the ball with
- 12:50Speaker 1: throwing it to Wilson every play and McBride like they
- 12:53Speaker 1: had no weapons out there offensive line injuries, and they
- 12:56Speaker 1: still were able to move it at will. I don't
- 12:58Speaker 1: know what Sala can do to step forty nine ers
- 13:00Speaker 1: defense and Kendrick You mentioned McCarthy. Holy moly, that's my
- 13:05Speaker 1: vote today. I guess the only time he's good is
- 13:08Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter if he's playing the Bears. Is
- 13:11Speaker 1: that it because he I mean, he had a couple
- 13:13Speaker 1: of good drives at the end, but the first three
- 13:16Speaker 1: quarters were a disaster.
- 13:19Speaker 4: He's I think he's bad. I think that.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Here's the thing. I'm not the type to usually off
- 13:23Speaker 3: the rip with. I'm gonna call him a rookie. I
- 13:26Speaker 3: understand that he's not a rookie, but he's basically a rookie.
- 13:30Speaker 3: After someone's first season, you don't move on from them.
- 13:32Speaker 3: You help them grow, You do all the things that
- 13:34Speaker 3: you're supposed to do. Right, he might be the type
- 13:36Speaker 3: of guy that they move on from after one season
- 13:39Speaker 3: if the way that he has looked when he's.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Been in games continues.
- 13:42Speaker 3: I don't know how you justify that moving forward, because
- 13:45Speaker 3: Justin Jefferson is also did.
- 13:46Speaker 4: You guys see how pissed he was today?
- 13:49Speaker 2: So frustrated?
- 13:49Speaker 4: Yeah, oh my god. We have to talk about spitgate
- 13:52Speaker 4: after this, you guys.
- 13:54Speaker 1: We also talk about the new rivalry and Jamar Chas
- 13:58Speaker 1: and Jalen Ramsey that's big eight. Yeah, I know, I'm
- 14:02Speaker 1: saying that's that we have to that's Uh. Did I
- 14:04Speaker 1: wonder if it's gonna be a suspension?
- 14:06Speaker 4: I don't know, it has to be.
- 14:07Speaker 3: And here's the thing, the Patriots. We need the Patriots
- 14:10Speaker 3: lunk luck ranking not just from an injury standpoint, but
- 14:14Speaker 3: from the fact that they are also probably going to
- 14:18Speaker 3: not have to face him next week because that's who
- 14:21Speaker 3: the Bengals are going to play, the Patriots.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Like in my manners, it's the Bengals. And yeah, that
- 14:28Speaker 1: so that that was what were we just talking about
- 14:30Speaker 1: before then? Oh McCarthy. So I don't know, I mean, like,
- 14:34Speaker 1: how long of a leash do you give them? I mean,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I do you give him? I knew he was hurt,
- 14:38Speaker 1: this is his first year, but look at the cult
- 14:40Speaker 1: what the Colts did. The Colts said, you could you
- 14:43Speaker 1: could just see it with Richardson. Now maybe they're seeing
- 14:45Speaker 1: something different on the on the back end and they're going
- 14:48Speaker 1: to give him a little time. But the elementary throws
- 14:51Speaker 1: that he can't that he wasn't making this. I mean, look,
- 14:54Speaker 1: you could say he was playing some tough defenses the
- 14:56Speaker 1: past week's. This Bears defense is historically bad. And over
- 15:00Speaker 1: the first three quarters back game, there were guys wide open.
- 15:03Speaker 1: There were balls that I don't think he knew where
- 15:05Speaker 1: they were going, and it was a It was as
- 15:09Speaker 1: ugly as you will ever see. And in true Bears fashion,
- 15:12Speaker 1: they somehow give up the lead to a quarterback that's
- 15:15Speaker 1: playing not bad and then they come back and win
- 15:20Speaker 1: on a field goal. Bears games every week are absolutely insane.
- 15:23Speaker 1: We have the Sunday Night football coming up between the
- 15:25Speaker 1: lines and the Eagles. If the Eagles win, then they
- 15:28Speaker 1: are favored Bears all alone in first.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Crazy, all over the first place. Love Caleb Williams, not
- 15:38Speaker 4: what he does on the field. I just love him.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Don't don't yuck, Mayam, don't do that.
- 15:43Speaker 3: I was gonna say I love Caleb Williams because of
- 15:46Speaker 3: guys like you seeing that he's drinking macha and they're
- 15:50Speaker 3: probably like, ill, that's you know, I'm not going to
- 15:52Speaker 3: say it, but I'm not going to drink it because
- 15:53Speaker 3: Caleb Williams does that, it must be you know whatever, girly,
- 15:56Speaker 3: and so it's making macha cheaper for the rest of
- 15:58Speaker 3: us because Macha is at a premium right now because
- 16:00Speaker 3: they can't keep up with.
- 16:01Speaker 4: The demand in Japan. So let me have my Macha.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Thank you. Caleb Williams, I've actually.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Never going to do with maya great matcha tea. It's
- 16:09Speaker 2: really good bubble team Mancha's fantastic. I have a problem
- 16:13Speaker 2: with a quarterback who runs in circles behind the line
- 16:15Speaker 2: of scrimmage without his head up, like Shador. Basically, Shador
- 16:19Speaker 2: is like ten times worse than Caleb. Caleb is like
- 16:21Speaker 2: the Cha door is like his disciple. But they both
- 16:24Speaker 2: do it. It's so frustrating.
- 16:25Speaker 1: But I mean he does bail and too often. But
- 16:28Speaker 1: he's playing so much better this year. And Bears Johnson, Yeah,
- 16:32Speaker 1: that the Bears run game is cooking right now in
- 16:36Speaker 1: so many different facets. And I mean that's been the difference.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I mean, they've definitely been fortunate. I mean the turnovers,
- 16:43Speaker 1: that's not going to last forever. They get a couple
- 16:44Speaker 1: more interceptions today, there was a fumble near their goal
- 16:48Speaker 1: line that they recovered, and now they lead the league
- 16:51Speaker 1: interceptions with like backup defensive backs. I think they lead
- 16:54Speaker 1: the league in turnover margin. They lead the league in
- 16:56Speaker 1: defensive epa game from turnovers like that's probably correct, but
- 17:00Speaker 1: if you're a Bears fan, you don't care right now.
- 17:03Speaker 1: And as of this moment, you are in first place.
- 17:05Speaker 1: You are all alone in first place, and if the
- 17:08Speaker 1: Lions go down, you'll be a game clear of the Lions.
- 17:12Speaker 1: So another crazy wild win for the Bears. And that
- 17:16Speaker 1: game was super important for both teams. Like Minnesota drops
- 17:20Speaker 1: to four and six, you're in that division in the NFC,
- 17:25Speaker 1: it's over. You have to have any chance, I mean
- 17:28Speaker 1: end with your quarterback play. You had to win that
- 17:30Speaker 1: game and the Bears to get to seven and three
- 17:34Speaker 1: for a team that might have some negative turnover regression looming.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Super important win because your schedule get the Steelers at home,
- 17:42Speaker 1: winnable game next week. We'll see on the status of Rogers.
- 17:47Speaker 1: But you have the Eagles, the Packers, the Packers again.
- 17:52Speaker 1: You do host the Browns in there, but the forty
- 17:53Speaker 1: nine Ers and the Lions. So the Bears have one
- 17:56Speaker 1: of the toughest remaining schedules of the entire NFL. Do
- 18:01Speaker 1: we have a brand is usually hosting, so I have
- 18:03Speaker 1: to we have our ad read to get to someone tell
- 18:05Speaker 1: me yes, Okay, let's let's start to Kendra for a
- 18:09Speaker 1: quick ad read.

- 18:13Speaker 3: in partnership with DraftKings. Favorites listeners get a great offer

- 18:27Speaker 3: up with DraftKings. That's promo Code Favorites when signing up

- 18:36Speaker 3: the crown is yours.
- 18:38Speaker 1: A couple of the games we didn't get to before
- 18:40Speaker 1: we get to some Sunday night Monday Night Talk. Texans
- 18:44Speaker 1: win an ugly one over the Titans. The Titans did
- 18:47Speaker 1: score touchdown late to get a cover. Is that their Adam?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Is that their first?
- 18:52Speaker 3: Oh?
- 18:53Speaker 1: No, they covered against the Chargers at home? Right are they?
- 18:55Speaker 1: Two and oh at home? Two and er against the
- 18:57Speaker 1: spread at home?
- 18:57Speaker 2: They covered back to back games the first time. It's
- 19:00Speaker 2: like twenty three. It's been a while, but yes, Tennessee
- 19:03Speaker 2: gets in the door.
- 19:04Speaker 1: The point shaving operation must have been uncovered. The old
- 19:08Speaker 1: Titans would not have scored a touchdown late.
- 19:10Speaker 2: To tie out Calvin Ridley broken fibula two. They just
- 19:13Speaker 2: announced they believe he's done.
- 19:16Speaker 4: His career is done, has to be done.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I feel for Titans injuries, although I feel.
- 19:20Speaker 3: For right Why do you feel for those mayo eating
- 19:23Speaker 3: losers Titans?
- 19:25Speaker 1: I mean, like you gotta go outdoors and the cold,
- 19:28Speaker 1: like season ticket holders.
- 19:29Speaker 4: In the cold. It's Tennessee.
- 19:32Speaker 1: It's cold right now.
- 19:33Speaker 4: It is not that cold in Nashville.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Look at Green Bay Packers fans out there, hammered with
- 19:38Speaker 3: no shirt the team, and you'll.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Feel their own and they win. They win games the Titans.
- 19:44Speaker 1: When's the last time the Titans won a game at home?
- 19:46Speaker 4: I don't care their fans are sunk assholes.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I love I like Tights fans unless they're good.
- 19:54Speaker 4: This is a Jags podcast. You can't have it both ways.
- 19:57Speaker 1: The producers saying it's fifty four in Nashville. I know,
- 19:59Speaker 1: I'm I'm in Lexner, but it can get cold.
- 20:02Speaker 4: Uh.
- 20:04Speaker 1: But I feel worse for Falcons fans, if there are any,
- 20:08Speaker 1: because they have hope, and they just lose in now
- 20:11Speaker 1: back to back overtime losses. Uh, and they're pretty much
- 20:14Speaker 1: dead on the season. Any update on Penix?
- 20:18Speaker 2: I didn't see anything ons now.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I didn't even see what the injury was. I just haven't.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I thought it could have been shoulder, but I might
- 20:26Speaker 2: have been wrong.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it was shoulder. You're right, it was shoulder. So
- 20:30Speaker 1: we'll wait on an update there. Oh Bucks Bills, I
- 20:33Speaker 1: didn't mention, uhne was it in knee? I thought it
- 20:36Speaker 1: was his shoulder. Okay, I guess it was his name.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Uh what isna go?
- 20:42Speaker 4: Oh?
- 20:42Speaker 1: Bucks Bills? Alan early awful pick when he just like
- 20:47Speaker 1: two hands shoved it. You had a hardman muff and
- 20:50Speaker 1: it looked like the Bucks We're gonna look another one.
- 20:54Speaker 1: But Alan turned it on and a couple He had
- 20:58Speaker 1: a couple of picks, but he was doing his thing
- 21:01Speaker 1: at five. He had six touchdowns on the day, three rushing,
- 21:04Speaker 1: thanks passing, threw for three hundred baker pretty underwhelming day.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Again, there was no defense played in that game whatsoever.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I mean, Buffalo scored forty four in Shakir, three targets,
- 21:18Speaker 2: one reception was out there for the entire time didn't
- 21:21Speaker 2: even use them.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that was alan flex game. I will say the
- 21:26Speaker 1: Bucks do have because they've been missing Bucky Irving. But
- 21:29Speaker 1: Sewn Tucker, the Syracuse kid, he's he's giving them some
- 21:34Speaker 1: juice in the running game. He had two touchdowns on
- 21:37Speaker 1: the day. But the Bills bounced back at home where
- 21:41Speaker 1: they rarely lose. I mean, it's like a once a
- 21:43Speaker 1: year thing, and they get it done so crazy day
- 21:46Speaker 1: in the NFL good finishes.
- 21:49Speaker 4: The p Words could win the NFC South. I'm just
- 21:51Speaker 4: saying the.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Panthers aout what a half game back, half game half
- 21:56Speaker 1: game back of the Bucks. Panthers next go to Francisco.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I mean that's a winnable game.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Yeah, and if they were at home, yeah, I.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Mean that's importantly more importantly than the Bucks and Panthers
- 22:10Speaker 2: still play twice, Like there's still everything.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Yeah, and so Bucks go two rams next.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:16Speaker 3: But Bryce Young definitely is not okay right now. And like,
- 22:19Speaker 3: here's the thing. Do I think that Bryce Young is
- 22:21Speaker 3: like the saving grace of that team? Know, it's obviously
- 22:23Speaker 3: Rego Dawdle in parts of that defense, but the he's
- 22:29Speaker 3: the best option that they have. And it's not even
- 22:31Speaker 3: close and I know that that's insane to say, but
- 22:33Speaker 3: it is what it is, all right.
- 22:35Speaker 1: That's I think. That's all. I think that's every game
- 22:38Speaker 1: that we hit Sunday night football. I don't have anything
- 22:44Speaker 1: I'm curious to see, like the Lions play calling change
- 22:47Speaker 1: last week. How much of that was the Lions? How
- 22:48Speaker 1: much of that was the commander's defense? How much of
- 22:52Speaker 1: the Eagles defensive improvements out of the buy? And and
- 22:54Speaker 1: you know some of their additions during the buy were
- 22:57Speaker 1: about them or the Packers' injuries and their offensive ish use.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I don't know's a lot of uncertainty. I think line
- 23:03Speaker 1: is about right. Maybe slight lean to Philly at home,
- 23:07Speaker 1: just with the better defense outdoors against golf, but nothing big, Kendre,
- 23:11Speaker 1: do you have anything here?
- 23:13Speaker 3: No, it's a waning crescent moon tonight and not a
- 23:15Speaker 3: waxing crescent moon.
- 23:16Speaker 4: So no Lions bet from me.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Okay, I know the moon. The moon haters.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Jared Golf in the moon.
- 23:24Speaker 2: She had to double check though, just to make it.
- 23:25Speaker 4: I did.
- 23:26Speaker 3: It's Jared Golf outside you guys. Of course, I have
- 23:29Speaker 3: to check the moon.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Anytime it's waxing crescent.
- 23:31Speaker 2: We do it.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Somebody tweeted me, and I was like, no, it's waning,
- 23:33Speaker 3: not waxing.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Okay, this is.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Catching catching on Evan Young anything to night.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I just like, a'mon rock, no Laport out there? So touchdowns.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I know Giffin likes first touchdown. I just think he's
- 23:44Speaker 2: gonna get peppered a ton.
- 23:46Speaker 1: So all right, then tomorrow night we'd have to build
- 23:49Speaker 1: our I even forget, what do we call this anything?
- 23:53Speaker 1: Or is it just our.
- 23:55Speaker 2: DraftKings Monday night football? Fast pass Parlin? How about that?
- 23:58Speaker 2: That's what it says here.
- 23:59Speaker 4: We're gonna go with that, Oh the fast pass Parlay?
- 24:01Speaker 4: I like that? Can we say that five times? Fast
- 24:04Speaker 4: a draft?
- 24:05Speaker 1: Kids?
- 24:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:06Speaker 1: No, I'm not.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Uh.
- 24:09Speaker 1: By the way, Brandon's not here tonight because he has
- 24:11Speaker 1: a game covers the magic, which is why he isn't here.
- 24:15Speaker 1: But I haven't had a time. I don't know. I'll
- 24:18Speaker 1: write this game up. We came up with three before
- 24:20Speaker 1: the show. Kendra, you're going with one that I don't mind.
- 24:25Speaker 4: I'm going Bowers anytime plus one oh five.
- 24:28Speaker 3: He's now that Jacoby's gone, He's all that offense has
- 24:30Speaker 3: other than Genty. And if Genty's not that's it's it's
- 24:34Speaker 3: the only option. It feels like it's almost a guarantee.
- 24:37Speaker 1: I mean, anyone to score against the Cowboys defense is
- 24:39Speaker 1: probably not a bad option.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Evidentally, my Kang, my Balding King, and.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Oh, by the way, Jacoby, you gotta like what we
- 24:46Speaker 1: saw from Jacoby from I know, because.
- 24:49Speaker 4: He didn't get in the end zone. He screwed me over.
- 24:53Speaker 1: You'll never find a way to appreciate the Jags.
- 24:55Speaker 4: No, I'm not jagging off. Tonight I was on Twitter
- 24:59Speaker 4: watch like Jags.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I was like reading, I was reading a reply to
- 25:04Speaker 1: the like an injury report. I was looking for an
- 25:07Speaker 1: injury update on the Jags, and it was just all
- 25:08Speaker 1: Jags fans and they were just all being like, we're
- 25:11Speaker 1: gonna lose by fifty, the season's over.
- 25:15Speaker 4: The Jags Twitter Baby bench.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Trevor and it was just going on and on. It
- 25:19Speaker 1: was the most negative thing I've ever seen in my life. Well,
- 25:22Speaker 1: you got your wish today, Trevor Lawrence.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Mean the Jacks. Jack's gonna make the playoffs. And there's
- 25:27Speaker 2: mean no Travis Hunter, which is kind of sad.
- 25:30Speaker 4: That's not true. Apparently there's a way he could play
- 25:32Speaker 4: in the postseason.
- 25:33Speaker 1: The Super Bowl he'll be back for the perfect Yeah.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Yeah, he'll be back for the super Bowl and five
- 25:40Speaker 3: years they do have the Cardinals. Here's the thing that
- 25:43Speaker 3: I do feel good about about our Jaguars. Their schedule
- 25:45Speaker 3: is this is so easy.
- 25:47Speaker 1: That's what I just said. You got to I know,
- 25:48Speaker 1: but that's the I had had in hand with the Chiefs.
- 25:52Speaker 4: We're gonna lose to the Colts twice, and we're gonna
- 25:54Speaker 4: lose to the Broncos.
- 25:56Speaker 1: You're gonna split with the Colts the cold time.
- 25:59Speaker 4: I won in Jackson Villao for a decade. So there's hope.
- 26:01Speaker 1: But there's a lot of hope. Daniel Jones pumpkin game
- 26:05Speaker 1: in duvall I added, what are the other two that
- 26:07Speaker 1: we're going with?
- 26:08Speaker 2: I like Lockett. I know Jill's on that as well.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Lock it touch on him and his snap count's just
- 26:12Speaker 2: gone up the last two weeks. He's only out there
- 26:15Speaker 2: to catch passes and Pete loves him. So lock it
- 26:17Speaker 2: a touchdown and then action genty you are receiving yards.
- 26:20Speaker 2: I liked over sixteen and a half. Honestly, Dallas allows
- 26:24Speaker 2: a ton of running back receptions and he's gonna be
- 26:26Speaker 2: out there the entire time. This is an a most game,
- 26:28Speaker 2: so give me jazzy.
- 26:30Speaker 1: All right there it is lock It Bowers touchdowns and
- 26:36Speaker 1: genty over receiving yards. That'll do it for us. We'll
- 26:40Speaker 1: be back Tuesday and Thursday to go through the entire slate. Also, myself,
- 26:46Speaker 1: Chris Raybaum will be back on Wednesday the Action Network Podcast,
- 26:50Speaker 1: and that will do it for us. Thanks to Evan
- 26:53Speaker 1: for joining me, Thanks to Kendra, thanks to DraftKings. Good
- 26:58Speaker 1: luck on all of your wagers tonight. Enjoy Sunday Night Football,
- 27:01Speaker 1: Monday Night Football. You see you throughout the week.
