Hi, I'm Pete Smith. Today's thought comes from Hosea
• 0:07
12 verse four. Yeah, he had power over the
• 0:10
Angel and prevailed. He wept and made supplication
• 0:13
unto him. The prophet is recalling the
• 0:15
memorable night when Jacob was left alone and there wrestled a
• 0:18
man with him. The excruciating pain of his hip
• 0:21
out of joint likely led to his tears, but he cried out as he
• 0:25
clung on. I will not let thee go except
• 0:27
thou bless me. Self willed Jacob contended with
• 0:31
the Lord until the hand of God touched him, leaving him
• 0:34
helpless and solely dependent upon the Lord.
• 0:37
What will God have to touch that we may be fully surrendered to
• 0:41
His will? I bow me to Thy will, O God, and
• 0:44
all thy ways adore. And every day I live I'd seek to
• 0:48
please Thee. More and more choice again soon
