Torah Elevates Us-The Connection Between Naso and Shavuot
The Torah elevating us is a connection between Parshas Naso and the Giving of the Torah. It reminds us that we have to acknowledge the elephant in the room that most of us are under some level of control of animalistic tendencies. The Torah encapsulates the idea of freedom of the Exodus of Egypt where commandments (obligations) are not restrictions but ordinances that remind us that we can choose not to succumb to our animalistic tendencies.
