- 0:03SPEAKER_23: I was too busy raving.
- 0:04SPEAKER_23: That's something like fun raver music.
- 0:06SPEAKER_29: I saw you jamming in the seat over there.
- 0:08SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 0:09SPEAKER_23: I like the wick me before you don't.
- 0:13SPEAKER_29: But you know, um here it is another day.
- 0:16SPEAKER_29: Another for one r uh You know, probably me maybe I didn't drink my lunch, I swear to God.
- 0:21SPEAKER_29: And my mouth, my partials are out, so because they've been really making me slurp.
- 0:27SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 0:27SPEAKER_23: So now you're kind of doing getting back into the the other mouth set.
- 0:32SPEAKER_29: Yes.
- 0:32SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 0:33SPEAKER_23: Trying to, but um she sells seashells by the seashore.
- 0:38SPEAKER_29: Yeah, I don't know.
- 0:38SPEAKER_29: I need to do that.
- 0:39SPEAKER_23: I really did rush us this morning with this uh with this show.
- 0:42SPEAKER_23: I was like, you ready, Dave?
- 0:45SPEAKER_23: Do I look ready?
- 0:46SPEAKER_23: Yes, let's go.
- 0:48SPEAKER_23: I'm a little excited for the show theme today.
- 0:50SPEAKER_29: I know, and I'm kind of excited about it too, other than the more I thought about it, and I know, and I think I think I posted that you know I wasn't wild about rap.
- 0:59SPEAKER_29: I'm not wild about rap, but the more that I thought about it over the weekend, after we talked, especially on Saturday, I thought, you know, there is really there's a lot of songs that people don't really realize are rap.
- 1:09SPEAKER_23: Absolutely.
- 1:10SPEAKER_23: Kind of oriented spoken word.
- 1:13SPEAKER_29: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:14SPEAKER_23: I was looking up the very definition of rap music, and uh uh the definition right above the rap music is to speak openly and frankly, to rap, to rap with your friends.
- 1:26SPEAKER_23: So that's where I think.
- 1:28SPEAKER_23: Yeah, the origin of the musical term.
- 1:31SPEAKER_23: It is, of course, an African American um uh or origin musical style, very grassroots, you know.
- 1:40SPEAKER_23: And uh today I'm gonna try and play some rap songs for people who think they don't like rap.
- 1:45SPEAKER_29: Okay, I I like it.
- 1:46SPEAKER_29: And you know, I that makes sense why there would be uh a lot of the F word in some of the newer stuff as well.
- 1:52SPEAKER_23: Oh yeah.
- 1:53SPEAKER_29: You know, because that's the way they express themselves.
- 1:56SPEAKER_23: That's absolutely what I noticed, um, because I'm not the biggest rap connoisseur, but I try to respect all types of music, and it was kind of hard finding songs that didn't have a lot of expletives in them because it is so much about self-expression and also confidence.
- 2:13SPEAKER_29: Like um Oh, I like that even more.
- 2:15SPEAKER_23: As I was going through this, I realized a lot of these songs are almost like um a fantasy, like a confidence fantasy.
- 2:21SPEAKER_23: You know, you're the b you're the coolest, sexiest guy out there.
- 2:24SPEAKER_29: You're the b- Touch myself, I'm so sexy.
- 2:26SPEAKER_23: Yeah, stuff like that.
- 2:27SPEAKER_23: You know, and I I put in other songs in there um that are just, you know, spoken word, poetry, cool stories, cool concepts.
- 2:33SPEAKER_23: But a lot of them in there are like confidence fantasies, which I love.
- 2:37SPEAKER_23: And yeah.
- 2:38SPEAKER_29: I'm game.
- 2:39SPEAKER_29: I'm game.
- 2:40SPEAKER_29: I'm game, and you know, I've always trusted you in the music taste.
- 2:43SPEAKER_29: So I mean, there's been a couple sometimes you thought of like, uh, but the majority of them have always been, you know, I yeah, I would say I I they would fit my taste.
- 2:55SPEAKER_23: Good, thank you.
- 2:56SPEAKER_29: So I've even expanded.
- 2:58SPEAKER_29: I used to say, you know, I like all kinds of music except rap.
- 3:02SPEAKER_23: Yes.
- 3:02SPEAKER_29: So after today, I'm gonna just say I like all genres.
- 3:06SPEAKER_23: Yeah, I'm hoping that I can uh open up a couple of mine.
- 3:09SPEAKER_29: Okay, play one on me.
- 3:10SPEAKER_23: This first one is just to me, really pretty, really melodic type of rap song.
- 3:15SPEAKER_23: It almost sounds hip hop.
- 3:16SPEAKER_29: I've never heard somebody refer to a rap song as pretty.
- 3:20SPEAKER_23: Oh.
- 3:21SPEAKER_23: It's just a sweet little song.
- 3:23SPEAKER_29: This is uh my gosh, I can hardly wait.
- 3:26SPEAKER_23: Sunflower by Post Malone and Sway Lee.
- 3:30SPEAKER_29: Post Malone.
- 3:31SPEAKER_23: I love Post Malone.
- 3:32SPEAKER_18: My mom loves post-innote, I keep a check.
- 3:58SPEAKER_18: She was a bad man, nevertheless.
- 4:01SPEAKER_18: Callin' it Chris now, baby I'm a wreck.
- 4:04SPEAKER_18: Crash at my face, baby I'm a wreck.
- 4:06SPEAKER_18: In this is say, I'm keeping a check.
- 4:09SPEAKER_18: She was a bad man, nevertheless.
- 4:12SPEAKER_18: Callin' a Chris now, baby I'm a wreck.
- 4:14SPEAKER_18: Crash at my face, baby, I'm a wreck.
- 4:17SPEAKER_18: Digging in a bad way, losing a rip.
- 4:22SPEAKER_18: Someone took a beat out on the mama.
- 4:25SPEAKER_18: Looking at you somewhere, what do you want to tell me?
- 4:30SPEAKER_18: Someone think you're scared of flows.
- 4:32SPEAKER_18: She wanna ride me like a clothes, and I'm not trying to lose.
- 4:42SPEAKER_18: Unless I still are the same fly.
- 4:47SPEAKER_18: I think you love a beat and you be left in the dust.
- 4:52SPEAKER_18: Unless I still fire the same lava.
- 5:05SPEAKER_20: We suck beat in the fire in the easy.
- 5:40SPEAKER_20: I think you live in some.
- 6:03SPEAKER_23: Now I would describe that song as pretty.
- 6:07SPEAKER_29: Pretty, okay.
- 6:08SPEAKER_29: I'll give you that.
- 6:09SPEAKER_23: That's just me.
- 6:10SPEAKER_23: Maybe it's the imagery of the song.
- 6:12SPEAKER_29: I don't think I ever I don't know that I've ever even used pretty, is it?
- 6:15SPEAKER_29: Even when like When Beneath My Wings came out, I'm not sure I ever called it pretty, but I might have.
- 6:21SPEAKER_23: Yeah, I guess pretty, I don't know.
- 6:23SPEAKER_29: It just sounds like uh I would never call a rapper pretty, but I guess.
- 6:27SPEAKER_23: You haven't seen all these rappers.
- 6:29SPEAKER_23: Forget you forget there are female rappers too.
- 6:31SPEAKER_23: Oh, yes, I know.
- 6:31SPEAKER_23: They are very few.
- 6:32SPEAKER_29: I know TLC, right?
- 6:33SPEAKER_23: That's yes, there's them.
- 6:34SPEAKER_23: I got Salt and Peppa on here.
- 6:36SPEAKER_29: Salt and Peppa Oh, I love those ladies.
- 6:37SPEAKER_23: Me too.
- 6:38SPEAKER_23: And Doja Cat.
- 6:39SPEAKER_23: Those I don't know.
- 6:40SPEAKER_23: She's she's newer, but she's a cutie.
- 6:42SPEAKER_29: Well, listen, we got a call, and I want to get it out of the way right now because I know it's gonna probably I don't know if it'll make you mad or but you know, you had went through this whole thing about Stimpy being with you.
- 6:55SPEAKER_23: Yeah, I am Ren, and apparently there's a rumor going around that I've kicked Stimp to the curb.
- 7:01SPEAKER_29: Which uh Well, apparently he's still if he's living with you still, you're gonna have to have a talk with him.
- 7:07SPEAKER_29: Because uh, well, just play this phone call.
- 7:10SPEAKER_29: Oh no.
- 7:11SPEAKER_29: Yeah, you'll see what I'm talking about.
- 7:12SPEAKER_12: Oh my god.
- 7:13SPEAKER_12: Next message.
- 7:16SPEAKER_12: Friday, May 13th.
- 7:18SPEAKER_12: Oh, that's not the right one, I don't know.
- 7:20SPEAKER_12: That's not?
- 7:21SPEAKER_29: No, it should be May 13th.
- 7:23SPEAKER_23: That was just like two days ago.
- 7:24SPEAKER_29: Yeah, that's it, that's it.
- 7:25SPEAKER_29: Okay, yeah.
- 7:25SPEAKER_29: Okay, okay.
- 7:26SPEAKER_29: Sorry, that's right.
- 7:26SPEAKER_29: That was Mark, that was Friday.
- 7:28SPEAKER_29: That was 10th.
- 7:29SPEAKER_12: Friday, May 13th.
- 7:31SPEAKER_12: We're good at 105 p.m.
- 7:34SPEAKER_13: Gee, hello Lynn.
- 7:36SPEAKER_13: I think you're doing very well with your big bull radio gig.
- 7:42SPEAKER_28: What is this?
- 7:42SPEAKER_13: I uh don't suppose you have much time for a washed up old husband.
- 7:51SPEAKER_13: You're dumbing pretty quick after I see you still got canceled.
- 8:00SPEAKER_13: My money ran out.
- 8:02SPEAKER_13: Like you went to the sponsorship, I got kids out of my teeth.
- 8:19SPEAKER_13: Let's clean the light supper.
- 8:22SPEAKER_13: I'm strong out on that.
- 8:26SPEAKER_13: Do you know how disgusting it is?
- 8:31SPEAKER_13: Do you know how hard it is to climb a telephone pole to get away from this dog?
- 8:36SPEAKER_13: No one you're as bad as I am.
- 8:39SPEAKER_13: Never once did I hear anything from my old fountain.
- 8:44SPEAKER_13: Um, goodbye, Ren.
- 8:48SPEAKER_13: Have a nice light.
- 8:49SPEAKER_13: This is your old fountain lighting off.
- 8:54SPEAKER_13: Stimpy, you idiot.
- 8:57SPEAKER_23: Well, I guess the cat's out of the bounds.
- 9:03SPEAKER_29: Inquiring minds were.
- 9:04SPEAKER_29: Look, man.
- 9:05SPEAKER_29: What is the real story, Ren?
- 9:07SPEAKER_23: We can't carry our friends forever.
- 9:08SPEAKER_23: Oh, okay.
- 9:09SPEAKER_23: Okay.
- 9:09SPEAKER_29: There you go.
- 9:10SPEAKER_23: He had a catnip problem.
- 9:11SPEAKER_23: He admitted to it, and I tried to help him.
- 9:13SPEAKER_29: But it was no bueno.
- 9:15SPEAKER_23: But there was it was no bueno.
- 9:16SPEAKER_23: And you know what?
- 9:16SPEAKER_23: I tried to save him, uh, I tried to save him face by saying that he was staying with me, but um.
- 9:23SPEAKER_23: I guess I uh I guess I just tried for the wrong guy.
- 9:27SPEAKER_23: This is my way of covering up for this lie.
- 9:30SPEAKER_23: That I obviously lied about kicking my friend in the curb.
- 9:32SPEAKER_23: Look, Stimpy, I'm sorry.
- 9:34SPEAKER_23: If you ever want to talk it out, you know where I am.
- 9:36SPEAKER_23: No drugs, you know, no drugs, no cat nip, no kitty litter.
- 9:44SPEAKER_29: Does that mean he's eating cat turds too?
- 9:46SPEAKER_23: Is that what God, you know, I mean dogs have problems with that.
- 9:51SPEAKER_23: I can see that becoming a problem for a cat.
- 9:54SPEAKER_29: Yeah, no kidding.
- 9:55SPEAKER_29: Alright, well, listen, um, I don't know who that really was.
- 9:58SPEAKER_29: No clue.
- 9:59SPEAKER_29: That might have been Stimpy for all I know.
- 10:01SPEAKER_23: That was my favorite part about it, too, is that George of the jungle has seemingly gone out of his way to hire a voice actor to torment me.
- 10:08SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 10:09SPEAKER_23: And I love it.
- 10:10SPEAKER_29: Well, I know you were, you know, you were disappointed when you didn't get the ragdon on that first caller.
- 10:17SPEAKER_23: So I'm I'm not regretting it yet.
- 10:19SPEAKER_23: God.
- 10:20SPEAKER_23: I'm so sorry, Stimpy.
- 10:21SPEAKER_23: I didn't realize it.
- 10:22SPEAKER_23: His tale of woe.
- 10:24SPEAKER_23: He's not having a very good day.
- 10:26SPEAKER_29: No, no.
- 10:27SPEAKER_23: Are you having a good day, Dave?
- 10:28SPEAKER_29: I'm having a great day.
- 10:29SPEAKER_29: I I am.
- 10:30SPEAKER_29: I have some exciting news that uh I don't know when I want to let it out of the bag yet.
- 10:34SPEAKER_18: You got it.
- 10:35SPEAKER_29: Uh the cat's gonna come definitely.
- 10:37SPEAKER_29: Stippy's coming out of the bag here.
- 10:39SPEAKER_29: Again.
- 10:39SPEAKER_29: Yeah, again.
- 10:40SPEAKER_29: But uh, yeah, we'll talk about it coming up here a little bit later on.
- 10:43SPEAKER_29: I mean, I'm excited though, because uh so far you really got me intrigued about the rap music.
- 10:47SPEAKER_29: Um I like that last one.
- 10:50SPEAKER_29: Who was that again?
- 10:50SPEAKER_23: That was That was uh Post Malone Post Malone and Sway Lee.
- 10:55SPEAKER_29: Sway Lee I've not heard of.
- 10:56SPEAKER_29: I heard I have heard of Post Malone.
- 10:58SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 10:58SPEAKER_23: I haven't heard too much of Sway Lee either, but you know.
- 11:01SPEAKER_29: It was it was a decent song, I liked it.
- 11:04SPEAKER_29: Let's say let's so let's try it.
- 11:05SPEAKER_29: Let's do up to five stars.
- 11:07SPEAKER_23: Up to five stars, okay.
- 11:08SPEAKER_23: Yeah, no, I'm down.
- 11:09SPEAKER_29: I'll I'll give that a three and a half.
- 11:10SPEAKER_23: Hey, that's not bad.
- 11:11SPEAKER_23: Yeah, that's above average.
- 11:13SPEAKER_29: Okay.
- 11:13SPEAKER_23: Okay, cool.
- 11:14SPEAKER_29: Good.
- 11:15SPEAKER_23: Well, yeah, this next one is uh, you know, a little bit more of a a straight rap song, but it's definitely a sentiment we can all agree to.
- 11:23SPEAKER_23: Just uh getting with your buddies, saying no to the drama, saying no to the trouble, and just uh having a good day.
- 12:12SPEAKER_11: Ayo Street, the country boys is back.
- 12:15SPEAKER_11: It's six o'clock.
- 12:16SPEAKER_11: It's time to have a good day.
- 12:18SPEAKER_11: I got up this morning and I said I'm gonna do something for the United States of America.
- 12:22SPEAKER_26: So I got Nabi Rooch in here.
- 12:24SPEAKER_26: I got Big L360 in here.
- 12:26SPEAKER_26: This is Grill Street certified.
- 12:28SPEAKER_26: And today, yeah, you're gonna see another street one place we have.
- 12:55SPEAKER_32: Feelin' so good, change the color to my phone.
- 12:58SPEAKER_32: Owing schooling, go good with patron.
- 13:00SPEAKER_32: Oh, hell no, it's still marine tone, free color wash, had to clean up a dot, give back when I can just play my part.
- 13:08SPEAKER_32: Turn the boats have a fish rap, mustard pops out like bread, print frat.
- 13:12SPEAKER_32: Love for the big guy, hit the pub, blowing showing off the hot.
- 13:15SPEAKER_32: Napoleon on the radio, and you know it might bless me to hit the big three.
- 13:19SPEAKER_32: Balls are manifest one, oh tea, man.
- 13:27SPEAKER_21: And all these days, and I ain't finna worry about what nobody say.
- 13:47unknown: Cup still above ground, that's the reason to pray.
- 13:50unknown: Now my car cleaned up, now I'm ready to play.
- 13:52unknown: Make a call through the sticks, and I'm headed that way.
- 13:55unknown: Herbal cousin cookin', now they gotta give me a play.
- 13:57unknown: Got this new outfit, ain't even out in the state.
- 14:00unknown: So fame speaking too soon, but this is a hell of a day.
- 14:02unknown: And it's stickin', got me sitting in the hell of a place.
- 14:05unknown: I'ma stun the stage on in the grin, I'ma fade.
- 14:07SPEAKER_10: The new grill looks mean, but I swear I'm straight.
- 14:10SPEAKER_10: In the hood, showing love song.
- 14:12SPEAKER_10: A okay.
- 14:20SPEAKER_21: And all I wanna do is ain't nobody talking about.
- 14:35SPEAKER_31: We might as well do exactly what the children say.
- 14:37SPEAKER_31: Take the day off, hit the park and just hang.
- 14:40SPEAKER_31: Barbecue, roll a few, and put up the deuce.
- 14:43SPEAKER_31: And if it's beef, put the peace down, throw up your deuce.
- 14:45SPEAKER_31: It's time to change our ways, so we can save the day.
- 14:47SPEAKER_31: For the children's sake, and make a better place to play.
- 14:50SPEAKER_31: If it's all good, we got your poop and grip your wood.
- 14:53SPEAKER_31: And if you're riding dirty, like you splip and blow, yeah.
- 14:55SPEAKER_31: But do it real big, exactly like a player should.
- 14:58SPEAKER_31: Enjoy your 24, do your thing and rip your hood.
- 15:00SPEAKER_31: The world is all yours, but still we outride forever in the day.
- 15:04SPEAKER_31: The choice should make us willin' all time.
- 15:06SPEAKER_21: And all my woman wanna buy the day, and all these woman's on the fly today, and all the woman's wants to buy the day.
- 15:27SPEAKER_21: And all my mom is gonna try today, and all these wants to fly today, and all we wanna do is get by today, and we wanna have a to day, and ain't nobody gonna cry today.
- 15:40SPEAKER_21: Cause ain't nobody gonna die today.
- 15:42SPEAKER_21: You can save that drama for another day.
- 15:47SPEAKER_23: Have a good day.
- 15:48SPEAKER_29: You know, how old do you suppose those kids are that are singing in that?
- 15:51SPEAKER_29: Do you uh any clue?
- 15:53SPEAKER_23: My thought is probably like eleven, ten, eleven, twelve.
- 15:56SPEAKER_29: That's what I'm thinking too.
- 15:57SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 15:58SPEAKER_29: And they sound like they're having a good time.
- 16:00SPEAKER_23: Mm-hmm.
- 16:01SPEAKER_29: I don't I I I would have never categorized that as a rap tune.
- 16:06SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 16:07SPEAKER_29: Ever.
- 16:07SPEAKER_23: And then but and the rapping breaks out in the middle, and you before you know it, you jamm it along.
- 16:12SPEAKER_29: It's got a nice beat.
- 16:14SPEAKER_29: And I call a melody, I call that the music part of it, but it had that was nice.
- 16:18SPEAKER_29: But that sounds like I've heard of something else, too.
- 16:21SPEAKER_23: Oh, I think that's it's an older song.
- 16:23SPEAKER_23: The tune is really popular.
- 16:24SPEAKER_23: I know that's uh been used in a lot of movies.
- 16:27SPEAKER_23: I want to say 2008 is when it came out.
- 16:30SPEAKER_29: Yeah, that's been a wild.
- 16:31SPEAKER_29: It's a good nice tune.
- 16:33SPEAKER_29: Well, my meter is moving to this say, I will rate that one.
- 16:37SPEAKER_29: That one's I would I would put that one almost at uh what I rate the other three.
- 16:41SPEAKER_29: That one's probably a four.
- 16:42SPEAKER_23: A four?
- 16:43SPEAKER_29: Yeah, out of five, I would think.
- 16:45SPEAKER_23: That's dang good.
- 16:45SPEAKER_29: Yeah.
- 16:46SPEAKER_23: Now I'm worried we've peaked too soon.
- 16:48SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 16:48SPEAKER_23: We're gonna end the show right now.
- 16:50SPEAKER_29: So the rest of them, Mattel, those are ones, right?
- 16:53SPEAKER_23: I want you to be honest though, because I just made this in the comfort of my own home.
- 16:57SPEAKER_23: I tried to do a little exploring, a little digging, but yeah.
- 17:00SPEAKER_29: Yeah, no, I so far you've done well.
- 17:02SPEAKER_29: And you know, a couple of them that I saw on the playlist, I thought, well, yeah, these are great.
- 17:06SPEAKER_29: I would never have thought of these as rap.
- 17:08SPEAKER_23: Exactly.
- 17:08SPEAKER_23: And that's what I want people to remember too, like just because it, you know, rap isn't just the type of rap you don't like.
- 17:15SPEAKER_23: Rap is a spoken word.
- 17:17SPEAKER_23: It's uh melodic and and rhyming, grassroots.
- 17:21SPEAKER_23: I I have a a a quote unquote rap song in here by a rock band.
- 17:25SPEAKER_23: Oh, cool.
- 17:25SPEAKER_23: If we're able to get to it.
- 17:26SPEAKER_29: So Yeah, all right.
- 17:27SPEAKER_29: Well, let's move on then.
- 17:28SPEAKER_29: It'll be great.
- 17:29SPEAKER_29: We're we're I want to do a rant today in the next half.
- 17:32SPEAKER_23: Absolutely.
- 17:33SPEAKER_29: And uh I don't know, maybe I'll come up with a word.
- 17:35SPEAKER_29: We'll see what happens.
- 17:36SPEAKER_23: David.
- 17:37SPEAKER_29: Yeah.
- 17:38SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 17:39SPEAKER_29: It's something.
- 17:40SPEAKER_29: I don't know.
- 17:41SPEAKER_23: Just remember, with rap, it's uh it's poetry, it's rhyming, you know, something old, you know.
- 17:45SPEAKER_23: And this next song is about uh a subject that Shakespeare wrote about, you know, the greatest playwright playwrights and novelists of all time have written about this subject.
- 17:55SPEAKER_29: It's gotta be love.
- 17:56SPEAKER_23: Uh of a type.
- 17:58SPEAKER_23: Of a type, oh this is uh Forbidden Love.
- 18:01SPEAKER_23: Shoop by Salton Heppel.
- 18:04SPEAKER_11: I wanna shoop, baby.
- 18:09SPEAKER_28: Oh baby.
- 18:13SPEAKER_28: No, not you.
- 18:17SPEAKER_28: The bull-legged one.
- 18:19SPEAKER_28: Yeah.
- 18:20SPEAKER_28: Push up damn thing.
- 18:24SPEAKER_28: That sounds fancy.
- 18:26SPEAKER_08: Uh, here I go, here I go, here I go.

- 19:42SPEAKER_03: I wanna have some fun.
- 19:43SPEAKER_03: Come and give me some of that yum yum chop.
- 19:45SPEAKER_03: Chip, honey, dick.
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: Gonna get a scoop.
- 19:48SPEAKER_03: Baby, take the ride in my coup.
- 19:50SPEAKER_03: You make the water.

- 21:13SPEAKER_02: His skins would have a quiggling.
- 21:15SPEAKER_02: I hit the skins, full the hell of it.
- 21:17SPEAKER_02: Just full of yellow kit.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: Mm mm mm mm.
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: All the smell of it.
- 21:20SPEAKER_02: You want my ball to hit the hot roll?
- 21:22SPEAKER_02: 12 inches to a yardin'.
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: I just sound like I refer.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: So what you wanna do?
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: What you wanna do?
- 21:55SPEAKER_24: Shoot.
- 21:57SPEAKER_24: I'll show you.
- 22:02SPEAKER_29: Hey, I I like that.
- 22:03SPEAKER_29: So I what did I say?
- 22:05SPEAKER_29: I give that a four.
- 22:06SPEAKER_23: You give that one a four, too.
- 22:07SPEAKER_29: Yeah.
- 22:07SPEAKER_29: That's pretty good.
- 22:08SPEAKER_29: Yeah, I like that one a lot.
- 22:09SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 22:09SPEAKER_29: I'm gonna have to go back and listen to the first one to see if it really rated the three and a half.
- 22:13SPEAKER_23: Now that you've listened to Salt and Peppa and their DJ, Spinderella.
- 22:18SPEAKER_29: Oh my god.
- 22:19SPEAKER_29: Listen, I want to talk about real quick, because we're gonna we're gonna play a song and then we've got to get into break, but um I I'm I I am very flattered.
- 22:28SPEAKER_29: I used to work at a radio station.
- 22:29SPEAKER_29: It was called Q101 in the 90s, late 90s, 98, 99.
- 22:34SPEAKER_29: The Turn of the Millennium.
- 22:36SPEAKER_29: Yeah.
- 22:42SPEAKER_29: But anyway, we called me a couple weeks ago.
- 22:53SPEAKER_29: I'm going back to work during the morning.
- 22:56SPEAKER_29: Well, it's called Radio 101.
- 22:59SPEAKER_29: I'm very excited.
- 23:00SPEAKER_29: I'm very flattered.
- 23:01SPEAKER_29: But yeah, Monday through Friday 6th to noon.
- 23:05SPEAKER_29: I'm hoping that we'll have you up there before very long as well.
- 23:09SPEAKER_29: I'm negotiating for you as well.
- 23:11SPEAKER_23: Do all the hard work for me.
- 23:13SPEAKER_23: Clear all the foliage.
- 23:14SPEAKER_29: Oh, don't worry.
- 23:15SPEAKER_29: I'll go in there with my machete, whack it all down.
- 23:19SPEAKER_23: And I just stroll by.
- 23:20SPEAKER_29: That's right.
- 23:21SPEAKER_23: Oh, that's so awesome, Dave.
- 23:22SPEAKER_23: I'm so happy for you.
- 23:23SPEAKER_29: I'm major excited.
- 23:24SPEAKER_29: And I'm flattered that they wanted me to come back.
- 23:26SPEAKER_29: That's kind of cool.
- 23:27SPEAKER_23: And you heard it here first on the Sunday morning wake-up call on KSJE.
- 23:32SPEAKER_29: Oh, you know what?
- 23:33SPEAKER_29: All right.
- 23:33SPEAKER_29: So we're going to have our own special, which we've already done anyway, but it's our own special Sunday morning wake-up call for KSJE.
- 23:40SPEAKER_29: So it's going to be a little different than my actual show that I do.
- 23:43SPEAKER_29: I'll still be playing contemporary music.
- 23:45SPEAKER_23: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:46SPEAKER_29: A little different.
- 23:47SPEAKER_29: We have a little bit more of a leeway.
- 23:48SPEAKER_23: A little bit, a little bit more geared, a little bit more styled.
- 23:54SPEAKER_23: I just want to say, real quick, too, before we get into this next song, I don't know if this is going to be a Dave rap song, but in 2007, when this song came out, it changed my life.
- 24:05SPEAKER_23: I was a Beatles kid to my core, but it was something about Low by T Payne that made me go, I think I like this rap music.
- 24:13SPEAKER_29: Okay, well maybe it'll change my life.
- 24:16SPEAKER_23: And it's a tale as old as time.
- 24:17SPEAKER_23: It's just about a beautiful girl dancing at a club.
- 24:22SPEAKER_29: Is this how low, low, low?
- 24:24SPEAKER_25: Oh yes.
- 24:29SPEAKER_06: Let me talk so let me tell you.
- 24:33SPEAKER_06: Let it rain.
- 24:36unknown: Let me south.
- 25:11SPEAKER_06: Let's make me hold this crazy.
- 25:12unknown: I'm like spinning a low enemy and all of them in the buttery go.
- 25:18unknown: She was flexible, reflexional, drinking hexano.
- 25:21SPEAKER_06: Hold up, wait a minute, do I see what I think I'm woo?
- 25:26SPEAKER_06: Make the same when it's a deck closed.
- 25:28SPEAKER_06: Make the rain, I'ma make it snow.
- 25:30SPEAKER_06: The bubble I got the back row.
- 25:31SPEAKER_06: I'ma say that I prefer the no clothes.
- 25:33SPEAKER_06: I'm into that I love women next move.
- 25:35SPEAKER_06: He threw it back at me, I gave her move.
- 25:37SPEAKER_06: Catch ain't no problem, I know it goes.
- 25:39SPEAKER_06: He had the mood.
- 26:15SPEAKER_06: Put the roll on the box, then I make your mouth.
- 26:24SPEAKER_06: That's when I pulled up her legs on my shoulder.
- 26:26SPEAKER_06: I knew it was over that mini and cola got me like a soldier, she ready for rover.
- 26:29SPEAKER_06: I couldn't control her, so lucky on me, I was just like a cloth.
- 26:33SPEAKER_06: Sorry, it was not like a toe, scream.
- 26:35SPEAKER_06: Sorry, but I had to fold her.
- 26:36SPEAKER_06: Like a pun, like a V pose, she showed her.
- 27:22SPEAKER_06: I had the handle at a few, get me showing, make me want it.
- 27:28SPEAKER_06: Too in the moanin', I'm zoning, them rose they bottles roamin'.
- 27:32SPEAKER_06: G was the stop, made it drop, do it, did that pop and lie, had to break up that pop.
- 27:37SPEAKER_06: That was five just like my glide.
- 27:49SPEAKER_27: Next day you know, Sonna got low, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, come back and sweep hands and the remote with the strand.
- 28:04SPEAKER_27: Next day you know, Sonna got low, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: You're listening to the wake-up call on 90.9 FM and 103.3 FM, K SJE, Farmington, New Mexico.
- 28:22SPEAKER_20: Music.
- 28:23SPEAKER_20: That's our middle name.
- 28:25SPEAKER_20: Music.
- 28:27SPEAKER_13: This is some exciting stuff, huh?
- 28:39SPEAKER_14: 2,000 orthalmometers, 2,000 surrounding us, travel 2,000 kilometers to hang out with us.
- 28:45SPEAKER_14: What's up, danger?
- 28:47SPEAKER_14: What's up, danger?
- 28:49SPEAKER_15: Hey, getting though they doubted us, makes it that more marvelous.
- 28:52SPEAKER_15: Sign them up, cause I'm in this robbed, and I guess anonymous.
- 28:55SPEAKER_15: What's up, Danger?
- 28:57SPEAKER_15: Ay, don't be a stranger.
- 28:59SPEAKER_15: Cause I like hot cheeses that I might lose.
- 29:02SPEAKER_15: I like it all on the edge, just like you.
- 29:04SPEAKER_15: I like tall buildings, so I can leap off of them.
- 29:07SPEAKER_15: I go off with it, no matter how dark it is.
- 29:10SPEAKER_16: I'm insane, but on my toes.
- 29:12SPEAKER_16: I can keep the world balanced on my nose.
- 29:14SPEAKER_16: I have a slumber party with all my foes.
- 29:17SPEAKER_16: Nah, I wear them like a vagina on my clothes.
- 29:20SPEAKER_16: If I'm crazy, I'm on my own.
- 29:22SPEAKER_16: If I'm waiting, it's on my phone.
- 29:24SPEAKER_16: If I sound lazy, just ignore my tone.
- 29:27SPEAKER_16: Cause I'm always gonna answer when you call my phone.
- 29:29SPEAKER_16: Like, what's up, danger?
- 29:34SPEAKER_24: Like, what's up, danger?
- 30:00SPEAKER_16: 200 miles power with a blindfold on.
- 30:03SPEAKER_16: Mama always asking, where did I go wrong?
- 30:06SPEAKER_16: What's up, danger?
- 30:08SPEAKER_16: What's up, danger?
- 30:10SPEAKER_15: Travel 200 miles, I'm knocking at your door.
- 30:13SPEAKER_15: And I don't really care if you ain't done wrong.
- 30:15SPEAKER_15: Come on, what's up, danger?
- 30:18SPEAKER_15: Don't be a stranger, I like you when trouble brews, I won't dead change.
- 30:23SPEAKER_15: I like you when there's turbulence on my airplanes.
- 30:25SPEAKER_15: I like it when I sense things that I can't see yet.
- 30:28SPEAKER_15: Swimming with sharks when they ain't feed yet.
- 30:30SPEAKER_15: Cause I like hot chances that I might lose.
- 30:33SPEAKER_15: I like it all on the edge, just like your a.
- 30:35SPEAKER_15: I like the whole building so I can leap off of them.
- 30:38SPEAKER_15: I go home with it, no matter how dark it is If I'm crazy, I'm on my own.
- 30:53SPEAKER_16: If I'm wet, it's on my phone.
- 30:55SPEAKER_16: If I sound lazy, just ignore my tone.
- 30:58SPEAKER_16: Cause I'm always gonna answer when you call my phone.
- 31:00SPEAKER_16: Like what's up, daddy jump?
- 31:05SPEAKER_16: Like, what's up, daddy?
- 31:11SPEAKER_25: Stop me now.
- 32:00SPEAKER_29: You know, um Don't be a stranger.
- 32:03SPEAKER_29: And that's that is what I don't like about rap, I think.
- 32:08SPEAKER_29: And because he sounds like he's really mad.
- 32:09SPEAKER_29: He's pissed off.
- 32:11SPEAKER_23: Absolutely.
- 32:11SPEAKER_29: Um, but let me just say this.
- 32:14SPEAKER_29: Uh what when you explained it to me, I went ahead and listened to the words, so it's a little different.
- 32:20SPEAKER_29: And now I also know.
- 32:21SPEAKER_29: Well, let's go back, first of all, before we talk about that song, because we're gonna do a review on that.
- 32:25SPEAKER_23: Yeah, that we'll get in a little bit more depth with What's Up Danger.
- 32:28SPEAKER_29: But let's go back to uh Low Low by T Payne, yeah.
- 32:33SPEAKER_23: The the rap song that that melted my frozen little heart.
- 32:36SPEAKER_29: Yeah, I just I I I I I would watch the ladies dance to that song in the clubs when it first came out.
- 32:43SPEAKER_29: Oh, yeah.
- 32:44SPEAKER_29: Oh my god, I just sat there awestruck.
- 32:47SPEAKER_29: And it you know, the thing is, it wasn't so much I mean, yes, they were nice-looking young ladies, but how low they would actually, they would definitely see how low they could.
- 32:56SPEAKER_29: I don't know how they got that low.
- 32:57SPEAKER_23: Shorty got low.
- 32:58SPEAKER_29: That's right.
- 33:00SPEAKER_29: Absolutely.
- 33:01SPEAKER_23: That was what all the dancing was in the 2000s, too.
- 33:04SPEAKER_23: I mean, I I don't know, dancing has always been diverse, but I remember hip-hop dancing in that time specifically being all about like core strength and getting as low to the ground as you could get.
- 33:13SPEAKER_29: Apple bottom and I don't know what apple bottom jeans are.
- 33:15SPEAKER_29: It's a brand.
- 33:16SPEAKER_29: Yeah, is that what it is?
- 33:17SPEAKER_23: The little pockets on the butt are like little apples.
- 33:19SPEAKER_29: Oh apple bottom.
- 33:21SPEAKER_29: Apple bottom, oh absolutely.
- 33:25SPEAKER_29: I prefer a peach bottom, but apple's okay.
- 33:27SPEAKER_29: Or a blinged up bottom.
- 33:28SPEAKER_29: Yeah, or yeah, I like bling I like bling butts.
- 33:30SPEAKER_29: Bling butts.
- 33:31SPEAKER_29: But bling.
- 33:32SPEAKER_23: But bling.
- 33:33SPEAKER_29: Um, but and then you said that who was the scratcher on that?
- 33:36SPEAKER_23: The scratcher?
- 33:37SPEAKER_29: Yeah, the guy doing the DJ.
- 33:39SPEAKER_23: Oh, I well I know T Paine is doing the or not, it's not T Payne, who is it?
- 33:43SPEAKER_29: Uh yeah, you told me off off mic in uh oh it's Flow Ryder and T Payne.
- 33:48SPEAKER_29: Okay, there we go.
- 33:48SPEAKER_23: So yeah, Flow Ryder, I would think, is the the composer mostly, and then T Payne was the rapper.
- 33:53SPEAKER_23: I love T Paine, he's a funny way.
- 33:54SPEAKER_29: I believe you didn't know the term scratching.
- 33:57SPEAKER_29: Well and you have never you have not been able to work a d uh a uh a radio show with with actual records, 45s.
- 34:08SPEAKER_29: And see, that's how it all came down because you would cue yeah, you would cue up the record, and I'm sure it had to be an original DJ that started the scratching club.
- 34:17SPEAKER_29: Oh, hey, listen to what Oh hey, listen to that.
- 34:19SPEAKER_23: Yeah, sounds cool.
- 34:19SPEAKER_23: I can mix it with this.
- 34:21SPEAKER_29: Yeah, exactly.
- 34:22SPEAKER_29: So I'm sure that's how that all came about.
- 34:24SPEAKER_29: But um, yeah, I and I and there's certain scratching that I like, and there's others, and now they just have a sound effect for it, you know, you can buy those things and they do the whole thing.
- 34:32SPEAKER_23: But it's you know, DJing is still around too, and people forget, like if you have just two LPs for, you know, go in, you're in live time switching and mixing between those.
- 34:43SPEAKER_23: Yeah, it's a it's a chore.
- 34:45SPEAKER_23: It's still an art, it's still out there.
- 34:47SPEAKER_29: And uh, you can do it at the clubs.
- 34:49SPEAKER_29: I mean, you can I you know, I DJed nothing like that.
- 34:52SPEAKER_29: Mine was all pre-refined.
- 34:53SPEAKER_29: No scratching, no scratching, and and I unfortunately didn't have to do deal with turntables because that's a lot of crap to haul around.
- 34:59SPEAKER_29: So nowadays the little board is lightweight and it's all built in.
- 35:03SPEAKER_29: It's kind of like ours, only it's got two turntables.
- 35:05SPEAKER_29: Well, turntable on each end of it.
- 35:06SPEAKER_29: Absolutely.
- 35:07SPEAKER_29: But they're like fake, they're scratching turntables.
- 35:10SPEAKER_23: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:10SPEAKER_23: They're made.
- 35:12SPEAKER_29: So you can't.
- 35:12SPEAKER_29: Yeah.
- 35:13SPEAKER_29: Yeah, they look like a compact disc kind of thing.
- 35:15SPEAKER_23: And when in when in doubt, you can just press play and play the pre-recorded bit.
- 35:19SPEAKER_29: Yeah, exactly, exactly.
- 35:21SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 35:21SPEAKER_29: Alright, well, let's go back to this other song, the last one that I didn't care much for.
- 35:24SPEAKER_29: I'm gonna give it a two.
- 35:25SPEAKER_23: That's fair.
- 35:26SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 35:26SPEAKER_23: I wanted to throw it in a little bit.
- 35:29SPEAKER_29: But I understand, especially now that you tell me it's the anime, it's Spider-Man?
- 35:33SPEAKER_23: Oh my gosh.
- 35:34SPEAKER_29: And you said this is the best Spider-Man that you can open.
- 35:37SPEAKER_23: Out of all the Spider-Man movies, I would say Spider-Man.
- 35:40SPEAKER_29: Alright, so it's gotta be Spider-Man now, ladies and gentlemen, for a random rats.
- 35:47SPEAKER_23: So here you go.
- 35:47SPEAKER_23: I might have talked about talk talked about Spider-Verse in the past, but I'm doing it again because uh Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse is a fascinating little Spider-Man movie.
- 35:59SPEAKER_23: The main character is Miles Morales, he's grown up in New York City, he's half black, half um Mexican, I believe, Hispanic at the very least, and so rap music is really big to his musical taste.
- 36:10SPEAKER_23: And um what I like about the Spider-Verse movie is it has an entire soundtrack full of kidsafe original rap songs, but that aren't dumbed down for kids, right?
- 36:19SPEAKER_23: So that's why I liked What's Up Danger, because when you first hear him, he's angry, whatever, he's talking about killing people.
- 36:26SPEAKER_23: No, if you listen to the lyrics, it's about overcoming your fears.
- 36:29SPEAKER_23: It's about saying, What's up, Danger?
- 36:31SPEAKER_23: Come at me with all you got.
- 36:33SPEAKER_29: Yeah, that's what I was getting from that.
- 36:34SPEAKER_29: It kind of gave me goosebumps, honestly.
- 36:36SPEAKER_23: Absolutely.
- 36:37SPEAKER_23: And um if you watch the scene.
- 36:39SPEAKER_29: I'm gonna give an extra point for that.
- 36:40SPEAKER_29: I'm gonna give it a three.
- 36:41SPEAKER_23: Now, with context, it's a little better.
- 36:43SPEAKER_23: But um in the movie, too, there's an incredible scene where uh Miles is finally coming into his own as Spider-Man.
- 36:49SPEAKER_23: He's diving off of a building, and all of the the messages of his mentors are whispering through his head.
- 36:56SPEAKER_23: Yeah, and then he starts swinging through the city at night as that, what's up, Dangel, plays in the background, and it's just like, oh my god, he's doing it! So Spider-Man uh into the Spider-Verse, gorgeous animation.
- 37:10SPEAKER_23: Looks almost like it just jumped right out of a comic book in a good way.
- 37:14SPEAKER_23: Um uh it's all about different spider people from all over the different universes, too.
- 37:20SPEAKER_23: There's Peter Parker's there, and uh there's a super futuristic little Japanese girl who's got a sp uh a spider robot that has um an intelligent spider in it.
- 37:30SPEAKER_23: There's a guy from the 1940s, Spider-Man Noir, and he talks in like old-timey slang, and he's in black and white, and they all work together to defeat the big bad.
- 37:39SPEAKER_23: Um Kingpin, who's about gigantic, it's almost hilarious, he's like a you know, the biggest, scariest mobster you've ever seen.
- 37:47SPEAKER_23: Um, yeah, I don't know where I was going with this, but Spider-Man's interesting.
- 37:51SPEAKER_23: You highly recommend it.
- 37:52SPEAKER_23: I highly recommend it.
- 37:52SPEAKER_23: It's crazy.
- 37:53SPEAKER_29: And and I and yeah, I think you did tell me off market that you felt like it was probably the best Spider-Man of all.
- 37:58SPEAKER_23: I really do, yeah.
- 38:00SPEAKER_29: Well, Spider-Man originally was a comic.
- 38:02SPEAKER_23: By Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

- 39:16SPEAKER_19: As they speed through the finish, the flags go down, the fans get up and they get out of town.
- 39:21SPEAKER_19: The arena is empty, except for one man, still driving and striving as fast as they can.
- 39:27SPEAKER_19: The sun has gone down and the moon has come up.

- 55:11SPEAKER_29: I like that a whole lot better than that chew tobacco, chew tobacco spit.
- 55:15SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 55:16SPEAKER_23: To me, that that captures a whole other level of cowboyness.
- 55:19SPEAKER_23: And we forget, there's like black cowboys.
- 55:22SPEAKER_23: There's a lot of black people in the south.
- 55:23SPEAKER_23: Oh, yeah, absolutely.
- 55:24SPEAKER_29: I'm sure they felt Darius Rucker making made a world.
- 55:28SPEAKER_29: I mean, he did great in the rock world or whatever, contemporary, but he did even better in the country world, you know.
- 55:35SPEAKER_29: And he he's a very talented man.
- 55:38SPEAKER_29: And you just don't and then there was Charlie Pride in the early days.
- 55:41SPEAKER_29: You just don't see a lot of black folks doing country music.
- 55:45SPEAKER_23: Yeah.
- 55:46SPEAKER_23: Interesting.
- 55:47SPEAKER_29: Yeah.
- 55:47SPEAKER_23: They were too busy, you know, revolutionizing rock music.
- 55:51SPEAKER_23: Maybe, if you want to put it like that.
- 55:53SPEAKER_29: Alright.
- 55:54SPEAKER_29: Well, listen, Rand, you got anything else?
- 55:55SPEAKER_29: We gotta get out of here.
- 55:56SPEAKER_23: I do.
- 55:56SPEAKER_23: I got one.
- 55:57SPEAKER_29: Um, I'm talking about you personally.
- 55:59SPEAKER_29: I know you got a song coming.
- 56:00SPEAKER_29: We'll talk about the stuff.
- 56:00SPEAKER_29: Oh, okay.
- 56:01SPEAKER_29: I always got a song coming.
- 56:02SPEAKER_29: Yeah.
- 56:02SPEAKER_29: Uh anything you want to say?
- 56:04SPEAKER_23: Peace, uh, uh world peace and chicken grease.
- 56:09unknown: Okay.
- 56:10SPEAKER_29: That's all you need in life.
- 56:12SPEAKER_29: World peace.
- 56:13SPEAKER_29: I would go with that.
- 56:14SPEAKER_29: Bacon fat.
- 56:15SPEAKER_23: Oh, yeah, I'd go with that.
- 56:17SPEAKER_23: And some bacon fat.
- 56:18SPEAKER_23: There you go.
- 56:18SPEAKER_29: Yeah, you got it.
- 56:19SPEAKER_23: World peace and chicken grease.
- 56:21SPEAKER_29: Who says we can't rap?
- 56:22SPEAKER_23: And there we go.
- 56:22SPEAKER_23: I live with that.
- 56:23SPEAKER_23: This show has had a great effect on us today.
- 56:27SPEAKER_23: You got the number out there too, right?
- 56:29SPEAKER_29: I did.

- 56:38SPEAKER_29: All right, so I think what you're ending with is a fitting one because his this is what this is somebody that I would think of as rap.
- 56:45SPEAKER_29: This is what I think of as rap.
- 56:46SPEAKER_23: Oh, yeah, and to me, um this song is almost like a folk song.
- 56:51SPEAKER_23: It's about a man trying to get his family out of poverty, you know, just using the skills that God gave him.
- 56:56SPEAKER_29: Yeah.
- 56:56SPEAKER_29: And it's not M and M, it's M and M.
- 56:59SPEAKER_23: Yeah, E M I N E M.
- 57:02SPEAKER_29: Yeah.
- 57:02SPEAKER_23: His mom spaghetti.
- 57:04SPEAKER_23: Oh wait, sorry, this one's called Lose Yourself.
- 57:06SPEAKER_29: Lose yourself.
- 57:07SPEAKER_23: Some people know it as Mom Spaghetti.
- 57:15SPEAKER_34: Look, if you had one shot, one opportunity, to seize everything you ever wanted.
- 57:27SPEAKER_34: One moment, you capture, just let it slip.
- 57:33SPEAKER_34: Yo.
- 57:34SPEAKER_17: His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, there's vomit on his sweater already.
- 57:39SPEAKER_17: Mom's spaghetti, he's nervous, but on the surface, he looks calm and ready to drop palms.
- 57:44SPEAKER_17: But he keeps on forgetting what he wrote down.
- 57:46SPEAKER_17: The whole crowd goes so loud, he opens his mouth, but the words won't come out.
- 57:51SPEAKER_17: He's choking, how?
- 57:52SPEAKER_17: Everybody's joking now.
- 57:54SPEAKER_17: The clocks run out.
- 57:55SPEAKER_17: Time's up, over plow.
- 57:57SPEAKER_17: Snap back to reality.
- 57:58SPEAKER_17: Oh, there goes gravity.
- 58:00SPEAKER_17: Oh, there goes rabbity.
- 58:01SPEAKER_17: Choke, he's so mad, but he won't give up daddy's he know, he won't have it.
- 58:05SPEAKER_17: He knows it's old back to these ropes.
- 58:07SPEAKER_17: It don't matter, he's dope.
- 58:08SPEAKER_17: He knows bad, but he's broke.
- 58:10SPEAKER_17: He's so stagnant, he knows.
- 58:11SPEAKER_17: When he goes back to this mobile home, that's mixed back to the rabbit and yo.
- 58:15SPEAKER_17: This old rapture better go back to this moment and hope it don't do it.
- 58:19SPEAKER_17: Just mounted in the music, the moment you hold, you better never let it go.
- 58:24SPEAKER_17: You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow.
- 58:27SPEAKER_17: It's opportunity, but it's once in a lifetime.
- 58:30SPEAKER_17: Good at a room.
- 58:31SPEAKER_17: Just mounted in the music, the moment you hold, you better never let it go.
- 58:35SPEAKER_17: You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow.
- 58:38SPEAKER_17: This opportunity goes once in a lifetime.
- 58:41SPEAKER_17: Good at us.
- 58:42SPEAKER_17: So it's escaping.
- 58:43SPEAKER_17: Through this hole that is vaping.
- 58:45SPEAKER_17: This world is mine for the taking.
- 58:47SPEAKER_17: Make me king as we move toward a new world order.
- 58:50SPEAKER_17: A normal life is boring.
- 58:52SPEAKER_17: But superstardom's close to post mortem.
- 58:54SPEAKER_17: It only grows harder.
- 58:56SPEAKER_17: Homie grows hotter.
- 58:57SPEAKER_17: He blows, it's all over.
- 58:58SPEAKER_17: These all on him.
- 59:00SPEAKER_17: Coast to coast, host, he's known as the globe's daughter.
- 59:03SPEAKER_17: Lonely roads, God only knows his own father.
- 59:05SPEAKER_17: From home, he's no father.
- 59:07SPEAKER_17: He goes home and barely knows his own daughter.
- 59:09SPEAKER_17: But hold your nose, cause here goes to cold water.
- 59:12SPEAKER_17: These f don't want him no more.
- 59:14SPEAKER_17: He's cold product.
- 59:15SPEAKER_17: They moved on in the next move.
- 59:19SPEAKER_17: So the soul properly stole and unfolds.
- 59:22SPEAKER_17: I suppose it's old partner.
- 59:23SPEAKER_17: But the beat goes on.
- 59:29SPEAKER_17: You hold, too bad I never let it go.
- 59:31SPEAKER_17: You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow.
- 59:34SPEAKER_17: It's an opportunity, but it's once in a lifetime, good.
- 59:40SPEAKER_17: You hold, too bad I never let it go.
- 59:42SPEAKER_17: You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow.
- 59:46SPEAKER_17: This opportunity, but it's once in a lifetime, do it.
- 59:49SPEAKER_17: No more games, I'ma change what you call rage.
- 59:51SPEAKER_17: Yeah, this motherfucker moved off like two dogs cage.
- 59:54SPEAKER_17: I was playing in the beginning, the mood all changed.
- 59:57SPEAKER_17: I've been chewed up and spit out and moved off stage.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_17: But I kept rhyming and stepped right in the next life.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_17: Let's believe somebody's pain to buy diaper.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_17: All the pain inside amplified by the fact that I can't get by with my nine.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_17: Uh five, and I can't provide the right type of life for my family.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_17: Cause many damn boost stamps don't buy diapers.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_17: And then there's no moving, there's no Mackay Fifer.
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_17: This is my life, and these times are so hard, and it's getting even harder.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_17: Tryna be the water, my C.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_17: See the thought of part of between being a father and a dream of a baby, mama, drama, screamin' all of too much for me to wanna standless.
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_17: But one other damn monotony's gotten me to the point I'm like a snail.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_17: I've got to formulate a plot.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_17: Or end up in jail, a shot.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_17: Success is my only motherfucking option.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_17: Failure's not.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_17: Mama love you, but this rail has got to go.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_17: I cannot grow all in sailors.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_17: Look, so here I go, it's my shot.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_17: Feet spent out.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_17: This may be the only opportunity that I got.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_17: You better lose your health.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_17: In the music, the moan makes you old, you better never let it go.
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_17: You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_17: This opportunity books once in a lifetime, you and a boost is health.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_17: In the music, the moan makes you old, you better never let it go.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_17: You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_17: This opportunity once in a lifetime, you better do a thing, set your mind to it.
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_01: No need to panic.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_01: Ren and David will be back next week.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_01: Same WUC time, same WUC station.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_01: All right, I gotta say, all rights reserved.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_01: For KSJE and WC, I'm Zeb McCluskey.
