Transcript
- 0:09Speaker 1: Inside the Birds is back. What's going on? Everybody? It's
- 0:16Speaker 1: Jeff Moser and Adam Kaplan. Middle of the week Inside
- 0:19Speaker 1: the Birds, Adam Eagles getting they can't rest. They came
- 0:23Speaker 1: up a nice win, a jail and hurts breakout against
- 0:25Speaker 1: the Minnesota Vikings. But they have a rematch the second time.
- 0:29Speaker 1: And how many days is the second time? I didn't
- 0:32Speaker 1: do the math. How many times are about to play
- 0:33Speaker 1: the Giants in the same Spain play?
- 0:36Speaker 2: Actually they played him on a Thursday night, correct, right.
- 0:39Speaker 1: So it will be the second time in seventeen days?
- 0:41Speaker 2: Right, well Thursday? Yeah, you get the what Yeah, bottom line,
- 0:47Speaker 2: it's ridiculous they should and they're dealing with Washington as
- 0:50Speaker 2: you know. It's week sixteen and eighteen, right.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I don't. I don't like it at all. I like
- 0:55Speaker 1: them spread out a little bit, just like I didn't
- 0:57Speaker 1: like playing Dallas on the season opener. I like it
- 1:00Speaker 1: when see if they were playing the Cowboys now, right,
- 1:04Speaker 1: I think that game would be even bigger because the
- 1:07Speaker 1: Cowboys are this explosive offen. They weren't this explosive Week one.
- 1:10Speaker 1: They were still figuring something, right, right, If you have
- 1:14Speaker 1: that build up, I just think the game has that
- 1:16Speaker 1: much more magnitude to it, So I don't really like
- 1:18Speaker 1: this whole Giants thing two times and like that.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Well, you know, some years and then the league trending
- 1:24Speaker 2: towards us in their scheduling is that they started to
- 1:28Speaker 2: make every game like weeks just before the seventeen game schedule,
- 1:33Speaker 2: they would make the final four games all division, right,
- 1:36Speaker 2: They're not doing that right now. So what they said
- 1:39Speaker 2: in the schedule call after they released it was they
- 1:43Speaker 2: don't care about like like like what you and I
- 1:46Speaker 2: are saying. They hear us. They just want great matchups.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And obviously the league partners, the television partners have a
- 1:53Speaker 2: saying it, but they just want great matchups. It's like,
- 1:55Speaker 2: I agree with you put the Dallas in Week one.
- 1:59Speaker 2: It's obviously automatic generator of traffic. But it's just funny
- 2:02Speaker 2: how the leak says, no, no, no, we don't think
- 2:04Speaker 2: like that.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, fine, right before we get started, and
- 2:08Speaker 1: really in this podcast, we'll talk about, you know, not
- 2:11Speaker 1: only the addition that Eagle have big edition number fifty
- 2:14Speaker 1: five and the impact that he might have, but also
- 2:16Speaker 1: some real big injuries again that might impact their game
- 2:19Speaker 1: against the Giants. Just like the jailing Carter one did
- 2:23Speaker 1: when he wasn't on the field for them in that
- 2:24Speaker 1: first game. There are some injuries. We'll talk about it
- 2:27Speaker 1: on both sides. I want to ask you this just
- 2:30Speaker 1: for because we're after this game, the Eagles go to
- 2:32Speaker 1: the buy and then after the by it will almost
- 2:34Speaker 1: be the halfway mark of the NFL the NFC right now, Adam,
- 2:38Speaker 1: between the Eagles, the Lions, right the Bucks, the Rams,
- 2:43Speaker 1: and the Seahawks have been very, very impressive. Of those five,
- 2:49Speaker 1: any one of those surprise you. Anyone that you think
- 2:51Speaker 1: right now is the team to be? What do you
- 2:53Speaker 1: think about that?
- 2:54Speaker 2: Well, the team to be to me is Detroit. I'm
- 2:56Speaker 2: gonna wind up getting that one wrong. I know that
- 2:58Speaker 2: the Packers are they're technically now. It doesn't mean anything.
- 3:02Speaker 2: They're the number one segu is. They only have one loss,
- 3:04Speaker 2: but they're there. They're not something with their defense. They're
- 3:07Speaker 2: always really talented, but they never become a team that
- 3:12Speaker 2: raises to the talent level. I don't know why. Jeff
- 3:15Speaker 2: Affley's done a fine job, There's been something missing, whether
- 3:18Speaker 2: it's Joe Barry before him or half Lee. They're good,
- 3:21Speaker 2: but they're not now Barry was two conservatives, so they
- 3:24Speaker 2: fired him. But Aflee's like, he's changed this game. They
- 3:27Speaker 2: won from thirty fod to forty three. Obviously, Parsons had
- 3:30Speaker 2: a great game last week, but to tie the Cowboys,
- 3:33Speaker 2: to give up forty yeah, in that game, I remember
- 3:37Speaker 2: that was a money night him. I couldn't I have wanted.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I had to get up early next day. I was like,
- 3:40Speaker 2: I don't care, I'm watching this game. This is like
- 3:42Speaker 2: unbelievable football.
- 3:43Speaker 1: It was, yeah, kind of like.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I don't know if he saw it. I was watching
- 3:46Speaker 2: the red zone last Sunday, the Denver game. Giants game
- 3:49Speaker 2: was so bad for three quarters, a total snoozer, and
- 3:53Speaker 2: I have the red zone on and Scott Hansen starts.
- 3:55Speaker 2: He's like, hey, you know they're coming back.
- 3:56Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 3:57Speaker 2: The bron goes, oh my god, there's no way we
- 4:00Speaker 2: score thirty three in the fourth quarter.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Crazy, I know. Hey, no one has had a bigger
- 4:06Speaker 1: roller coaster so far over the last four weeks in
- 4:09Speaker 1: the Giants ever since Jackson darts are over. They beat
- 4:12Speaker 1: the Chargers at a time where the Chargers were starting
- 4:16Speaker 1: to get injured, but they were still playing good. Right.
- 4:18Speaker 1: They beat the Chargers. Then they go to New Orleans
- 4:21Speaker 1: and they blow a lead and lose to the Saint
- 4:24Speaker 1: become the first team this year to lose to the Saints.
- 4:26Speaker 1: You think, same old Giants, right, So then what do
- 4:28Speaker 1: they do? They come back? They beat the Eagles like
- 4:30Speaker 1: counts the sap out of them on Thursday night, and
- 4:32Speaker 1: then as you just mentioned, they go to Denver and
- 4:36Speaker 1: nobody goes to Denver and build up the lead like
- 4:39Speaker 1: they eighteen point lead in the fourth quarter, and then
- 4:42Speaker 1: they blow it, retake the lead, and then blow it
- 4:45Speaker 1: again because the kicker can't make I mean, I have
- 4:47Speaker 1: not seen a team on each side of the spectrum
- 4:50Speaker 1: week to week in a long time like these Giants.
- 4:53Speaker 2: So I don't know if it could be baseball, football
- 4:56Speaker 2: doesn't matter. But when you watch something the teams go
- 4:59Speaker 2: back and forth, if it could be like a home
- 5:00Speaker 2: run fest inning seventh through nine, you go, what the
- 5:03Speaker 2: hell just happened? Well, the Denver game was one of
- 5:06Speaker 2: those ridiculous things where Denver score By the way, Denver
- 5:09Speaker 2: didn't score point in the first three quarters. That's the
- 5:11Speaker 2: craziness of it.
- 5:12Speaker 1: At home, insane right at home?
- 5:15Speaker 2: And uh, then the the you saw the athleticism of
- 5:20Speaker 2: Dart and Knicks takeover scrambling, fighting ways, crazy throws. The
- 5:25Speaker 2: Johns are severely that they were severely shorthanded at receiver.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Your neighbors is out for the season. Slayton didn't play
- 5:32Speaker 2: in that game. Now that crazy played the Theo Johnson
- 5:34Speaker 2: deflection for a touchdown and he can't make it up.
- 5:36Speaker 2: There was actually another play like that.
- 5:37Speaker 1: The three in the game.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yeah, three, Well there're two that I saw, right, were
- 5:42Speaker 2: there three? Okay?
- 5:43Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, And to be fair, bonus, one of Bonix's completions,
- 5:48Speaker 1: those three that he got that got them into the
- 5:50Speaker 1: game winning field goal territory was not meant for the receiver.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I think it was meant for something and Mims caught it,
- 5:55Speaker 1: so it was.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, mam, said Marvin Mims. Right. So as this plays
- 5:59Speaker 2: into this week's game, and now the Giants are two
- 6:04Speaker 2: and five, they had, by my the way that I
- 6:06Speaker 2: do schedule breakdowns, stay the hardest schedule by far coming
- 6:09Speaker 2: into the season.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Okay, yep.
- 6:11Speaker 2: It's based on the way though you don't you're not
- 6:13Speaker 2: playing last year's team, you're playing this year's teams. It's
- 6:15Speaker 2: my strength of schedule strictly based on what I see
- 6:18Speaker 2: from these clubs roster, coaching, and front office. Because let's
- 6:23Speaker 2: say a team suffers a bunch of injuries, do they
- 6:26Speaker 2: sign the right fore agents, street frights? Do they make
- 6:27Speaker 2: trades like Howie Will often does. That's that's important to
- 6:31Speaker 2: me when you evaluate teams. So yeah, that stuff matters.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Amazingly, they lost the team that you thought they
- 6:38Speaker 1: might beat, like, which is the Saints, and then they
- 6:41Speaker 1: beat the team nobody thought that they could beat, which
- 6:43Speaker 1: would be the Eagles. So and obviously beating the Chargers.
- 6:47Speaker 1: So they're they're playing with house money because I think
- 6:49Speaker 1: most people thought there would be one and six or
- 6:51Speaker 1: oho and seven after seven games. So they're an interesting team.
- 6:55Speaker 1: And I'll say this before we get Rick really into it.
- 6:59Speaker 1: There's some I do believe that the way Jackson Dart
- 7:03Speaker 1: has played and the way Gataboo has played, and the
- 7:07Speaker 1: way they're being the way Dable has coached Jackson Dart.
- 7:10Speaker 1: He's letting him throw the football. It's not simplifying everything.
- 7:13Speaker 1: He's let let him play like an NFL quarterback. It's
- 7:16Speaker 1: injected some confidence into that team. I mean, they were
- 7:19Speaker 1: going Kevon Thibodeau is going at it with Benito and
- 7:21Speaker 1: Twitter before the game. The Giants aren't this kind of
- 7:24Speaker 1: team that is going to allow, you know, just walk
- 7:27Speaker 1: in there and punch them and they're gonna stay down.
- 7:29Speaker 1: They're they're they play with more confidence now. I think
- 7:31Speaker 1: that they've been injected with some youth. And I'm not
- 7:34Speaker 1: saying they're good. I mean, I'm saying they're up and down,
- 7:38Speaker 1: but they play.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, they're competitive. Hell despite the injuries. No, they're
- 7:44Speaker 2: they have a talented defense. Brian Burns is having a
- 7:46Speaker 2: great season. Uh that Their their front is really good. Uh.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Shane Bowen is a Mike Rabel guy.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I kind of think he's he's not doing the
- 7:57Speaker 1: best job. From a back end standpoint. I feel like this.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Corner right, the corner position is the problem.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Like they When Greg Cosell told us that their their
- 8:06Speaker 1: pass rush package did not include Dexter Lawrence, I thought
- 8:09Speaker 1: that that was a little fishy.
- 8:11Speaker 2: What coming into the Eagle game?
- 8:12Speaker 1: You mean yeah, that their four man rush, they were
- 8:15Speaker 1: taking Lawrence off and putting I think, uh, uh, well,
- 8:18Speaker 1: they were putting Darius Alexander. I know he's a second
- 8:20Speaker 1: round pick, He's.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Played really well, but that is odd.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's hard to figure out, like, well, kn't you
- 8:26Speaker 1: playing both? I mean, can't you get like half half?
- 8:28Speaker 1: And you know it was just straight me. It just
- 8:31Speaker 1: feels like they should be better because I've always said
- 8:33Speaker 1: if the Giants could get a lead, which they've had
- 8:36Speaker 1: a couple of times, they'd probably be pretty tough. They'd
- 8:38Speaker 1: get to hit the quarterback a little more. But they've
- 8:40Speaker 1: had a lot of leads and blown them. So I
- 8:42Speaker 1: don't you know, we'll see how if that defense needs
- 8:45Speaker 1: just just come together a little bit more to.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Me is before we get started here, you would you
- 8:50Speaker 2: would think after he was got embarrassed two weeks ago.
- 8:53Speaker 2: By the way, the jihnts were whooping it up after
- 8:55Speaker 2: the game. Man, they were like they I don't know
- 8:58Speaker 2: if the Eagles are aware of it, but they were celebrating
- 9:00Speaker 2: and they were going crazy on the sun because it
- 9:02Speaker 2: was the game was over with seven minutes left.
- 9:03Speaker 1: It was.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Remember now Dickerson didn't play and Carter didn't play. That's
- 9:08Speaker 2: pretty significant. Well, barring's something unforeseen that we don't know about,
- 9:12Speaker 2: and we'll get any injuries in a minute. Here they're playing,
- 9:15Speaker 2: So it's gonna be fascinating to see in two weeks
- 9:19Speaker 2: later what this game is going to look like?
- 9:22Speaker 1: Agree all right, if you haven't checked it out yet,
- 9:24Speaker 1: I highly recommend, I more than highly recommend you listen
- 9:29Speaker 1: to our Tuesday night show with WBCB. Adam and Andrew
- 9:33Speaker 1: Dejeco hosted it with Eagles running back Will Shipley, which
- 9:38Speaker 1: was just an awesome guest to have, and Will is
- 9:42Speaker 1: really really good. I mean, he gave great insight. It
- 9:45Speaker 1: was great dialogue with you and Andrew. And clearly Andrew
- 9:48Speaker 1: has gotten a no will from doing the Rookie Diary
- 9:50Speaker 1: and so they've got a rapport there, and I just
- 9:53Speaker 1: thought it was very insightful. You learn a lot when
- 9:56Speaker 1: you talk through not only you know, we've had some
- 9:58Speaker 1: former Eagles who are really good breaking down the game
- 10:01Speaker 1: on our show with us, but they have a current Eagle.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Was fantastic. You navigated it really well, ask great questions,
- 10:07Speaker 1: So everybody should really listen to. It's on our podcast platform.
- 10:11Speaker 1: You could have watched it live on our YouTube channel
- 10:13Speaker 1: every Tuesday night from six to seven o'clock. We are
- 10:17Speaker 1: streaming the show alongside with WBCB Sports, so you can
- 10:20Speaker 1: see it on the inside of the Birds YouTube channel,
- 10:22Speaker 1: and it is quite the show, and that one was
- 10:24Speaker 1: an excellent one.
- 10:26Speaker 2: So it also I would had if you want. Will
- 10:29Speaker 2: was incredible with the autograph hounds. It was it was
- 10:33Speaker 2: something else. I mean, there were two dozen people. I
- 10:36Speaker 2: don't know how the hell they know. I know, I
- 10:37Speaker 2: know we put up a tweet out or on passing site.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Who you know they're a partner of WBCB and obviously
- 10:46Speaker 2: we know this people. So anyway they put a tweet out,
- 10:48Speaker 2: I retweeted it. You know, I don't know. So all
- 10:51Speaker 2: of a sudden, I look up, I'm like, what is that?
- 10:53Speaker 2: What the hell they were like? They were like they
- 10:56Speaker 2: knew people know and you she would not believe the
- 10:59Speaker 2: pictures that they found. I'm saying to Will, like, dude,
- 11:01Speaker 2: look at this, look at this. How do they get
- 11:02Speaker 2: the Super Bowl pet shars? It wasn't like one that's
- 11:06Speaker 2: a stock photo. It's like a very unique one. And
- 11:09Speaker 2: it was great. So what we did is Andrew and
- 11:11Speaker 2: I asked him about situational stuff, special teams, and we
- 11:13Speaker 2: went over a lot of players and coaches.
- 11:16Speaker 1: M h. Wait to hear what he.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Says about Hurts and Tanner McKee. We brought him up.
- 11:19Speaker 2: It's great to give insight about what do you see
- 11:22Speaker 2: some practice Smitty AJ it's just and the special teams
- 11:27Speaker 2: coaches and Vic Fangio. It's really funny what he said
- 11:30Speaker 2: about Vic. Yeah, no, it's great, it's great. He was
- 11:35Speaker 2: he he loves it. Yeah, it's it's great. And hopefully
- 11:39Speaker 2: we'll have them on again. I'm sure we will probably
- 11:40Speaker 2: later this season.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yep. And that is already up on again our podcast platform,
- 11:44Speaker 1: so check it out. And of course later today we'll
- 11:46Speaker 1: have our shortened version of Ask Greg Cosel. We do
- 11:49Speaker 1: it every week on Patreon. We had a really good,
- 11:52Speaker 1: lively spirited one about about thirteen or fourteen people in
- 11:56Speaker 1: the chat room asking Greg questions and honestly, at one
- 11:59Speaker 1: point it's just evolved into evolved into really good conversation.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You know, there are some questions that nobody can answer,
- 12:06Speaker 1: like why why does the tea We all want, like
- 12:08Speaker 1: like to know why the passing offense is great one
- 12:10Speaker 1: day or not. I mean, there's only so much you
- 12:12Speaker 1: can say from an ex's and O standpoint, But it
- 12:14Speaker 1: became a really good dialogue and discussion about the multiple
- 12:17Speaker 1: parts of the team.
- 12:18Speaker 2: One thing I want to adduse I watched it on
- 12:20Speaker 2: Tuesday or whatever Wednesday Wednesday morning for the co Celle
- 12:25Speaker 2: haters or the people who say Greg's not complimentary of Hurts.
- 12:28Speaker 2: I was blown away how complimentary he was, Like almost
- 12:31Speaker 2: have been, Greg, why don't you be a little bit
- 12:32Speaker 2: stronger with your compliments on the regular platform? He was like,
- 12:38Speaker 2: I was like, am I hearing this? Like he's like
- 12:39Speaker 2: going it was like he praised him. He said he
- 12:43Speaker 2: played well in the game, but just the way that
- 12:47Speaker 2: he said it. Talking about high level quarterback play, Yeah,
- 12:51Speaker 2: because because Hurts does a lot of stuff off schedule,
- 12:53Speaker 2: like a lot we see Josh Allen do it and
- 12:55Speaker 2: other quarterbacks. Yep, Jalen is not the accomplished pressure that
- 12:58Speaker 2: some of these other guys are. But some of those
- 13:01Speaker 2: throws from Hurts were similar to the Super Bowl, not
- 13:04Speaker 2: this one. Hurts his first super Bowl where he was unbelievable.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I would argue the first Super Bowl was one of
- 13:09Speaker 2: the best performances NFL history from a quarterback. It was
- 13:12Speaker 2: incredible lost unfortunately, but if he and I'm not an
- 13:16Speaker 2: Eagles fan, but they got cheated by the grass, that's
- 13:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna say.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Anyway, as good as Tom Brady throwing for five hundred
- 13:21Speaker 1: yards and a loss to the loss.
- 13:24Speaker 2: You know it's funny. I remember another coach saying to
- 13:26Speaker 2: me from another team who obviously watched the game, and goes,
- 13:29Speaker 2: Schwartz got off the hook for that game because just lost.
- 13:32Speaker 2: The fans were to turn on Swarts totally, totally.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Oh my god, to get what the Eagles got offensively
- 13:37Speaker 1: that day and tom if they didn't win that game,
- 13:39Speaker 1: getting nick folks fools to play like Joe Montana, like
- 13:43Speaker 1: are you kidding?
- 13:45Speaker 2: And the guy who did it all the strip he's back.
- 13:49Speaker 1: He's back, all right, great segue, great segue. Hey, you
- 13:52Speaker 1: know that one guy in the group chat who hit
- 13:54Speaker 1: a five leg parlay week one and he wouldn't shut
- 13:57Speaker 1: up about it for the rest of the season, like Kaplan, Right, yeah, yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 1: it could be him, It could be you, and we
- 14:05Speaker 1: would all want to be you. My Bookie makes it

- 16:11Speaker 1: actually think this sounds ridiculous, but just from a media
- 16:14Speaker 1: journalist slash editor standpoint, I think the pictures like we
- 16:18Speaker 1: put on inside the Birds with Andrew stories and and
- 16:21Speaker 1: you know in Philly Voice, I think they look better
- 16:23Speaker 1: on the site and more colorful and more vibrant when
- 16:26Speaker 1: the Eagles are in their Kelly Green. So I always
- 16:28Speaker 1: try to find a Kelly Green photo. If Andrew writes
- 16:31Speaker 1: a story about somebody in the off season and we're
- 16:33Speaker 1: just using pictures because it just looks good and people
- 16:35Speaker 1: love it. I really do think it attracts people to
- 16:38Speaker 1: want to read the story or see it because they
- 16:39Speaker 1: like Kelly Green so much, so they're gonna wear them. Also,
- 16:44Speaker 1: this is the first time they're gonna wear them. Might
- 16:45Speaker 1: they're wearing them again.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Yeah, so this is really interesting. So they have not
- 16:51Speaker 2: done this what they're going to do, like, okay this week,
- 16:55Speaker 2: but they're gonna wear them on the road at the
- 16:57Speaker 2: Cowboys in week twelve. They have not on the road
- 17:00Speaker 2: since the nineties, so when they came back two years
- 17:03Speaker 2: ago in twenty three, they were at home. They wore
- 17:05Speaker 2: them at home. So they're goream week twelve on the
- 17:07Speaker 2: road at Dallas and then for the Commandos in week
- 17:09Speaker 2: eighteen at this point with as banged up as the
- 17:12Speaker 2: Commandos are, and we'll see if that game is actually
- 17:14Speaker 2: actually means anything, but they're going to wear them at
- 17:16Speaker 2: home in week eighteen ten season.
- 17:19Speaker 1: One against each NFC East opponent has how they're doing it.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Okay, that's pretty cool. Yeah. Now the only thing is
- 17:25Speaker 2: from someone who had an Eagles jersey in the nineties.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Those jerseys were darker and darker kelly green if you will,
- 17:32Speaker 2: just the shade of it. These are brighter. I love
- 17:35Speaker 2: bright colors. I don't know about you, but I uh
- 17:37Speaker 2: for tennis, I where it's really sometimes fluorescent shoes. I
- 17:41Speaker 2: don't care, man, I like I just like the brighter color.
- 17:45Speaker 2: So I love them, man, I think the helmet's super cool. Fact.
- 17:50Speaker 2: One of these days I might have to replace this
- 17:53Speaker 2: real helmet with the Kelly Green one some half to
- 17:55Speaker 2: get one nice.
- 17:57Speaker 1: All right, speaking of BG and Kelly Green, so I thought,
- 18:00Speaker 1: thought this is interesting. The Eagles first injury report of
- 18:03Speaker 1: the week they put out on a Kelly Green poster
- 18:06Speaker 1: on social media. H I didn't. I don't know if
- 18:08Speaker 1: they had to do this. Maybe you have more insight
- 18:10Speaker 1: into it, but they actually put Brandon Graham on it.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Although they said he's not injury. They just wanted to
- 18:15Speaker 1: let everybody know that he was a full participant in practice.
- 18:21Speaker 2: The rule is when you're in as he's not actually
- 18:23Speaker 2: on the roster, but when you're in a reserve list
- 18:25Speaker 2: and you practice, you must be listed on the injury board,
- 18:27Speaker 2: so it forces teams. I mentioned this like three years
- 18:28Speaker 2: ago when the league started doing it, which was great.
- 18:31Speaker 2: By the way, they had a list of the injuries.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Sometimes injuries don't actually get reported, like a gull and
- 18:35Speaker 2: going going on r and let's say undisclosed, it never
- 18:38Speaker 2: gets reported, right, but you know, yeah, so yeah, maybe
- 18:43Speaker 2: it's they had to put him on there just because
- 18:44Speaker 2: he's he's wait practiced.
- 18:47Speaker 1: But practice but I mean, he's got no injury.
- 18:49Speaker 2: But yeah, he's not. But it's he's not on the roster.
- 18:54Speaker 2: The Eagles have a roster exception for two weeks from now.
- 18:57Speaker 2: It's weird, like they they're they're they're counting the bye
- 19:00Speaker 2: week as a week. They're given two week exempter because
- 19:02Speaker 2: he hasn't been here for nine months. So it's wild.
- 19:05Speaker 2: And by the way, Fangio's quote, he's so this guy.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I love the subtle shots he takes to the NFL
- 19:12Speaker 2: or reporters like and and quite frankly, hey, I'll admit it,
- 19:16Speaker 2: like when when Vic says, what did he say to
- 19:19Speaker 2: the what did he say about to the police? What
- 19:24Speaker 2: he had a great line something about to the snapcount
- 19:27Speaker 2: police or something like that. He said, oh yeah, yeah,
- 19:30Speaker 2: it was just and he takes the ramp up police.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, he hates that. He hates the
- 19:36Speaker 2: ramp up period. Look, we learned our lesson with he
- 19:39Speaker 2: planned the uh the guy who retired Darius Smith. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:44Speaker 2: he played the first week he came back.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Well, I think that's interesting, Adam. I'm not convinced that
- 19:49Speaker 1: that if Brandon Graham has a good full week of
- 19:51Speaker 1: practice that he won't at least play a few steps
- 19:53Speaker 1: because as long as the triceps is fine and and
- 19:57Speaker 1: and he's healthy in condition like you said, was Zadarius Smith.
- 20:00Speaker 1: He had a good week of practice, so he had
- 20:02Speaker 1: no OTAs, he had no training camp. He was literally
- 20:04Speaker 1: off the street. He showed he could play, and he played,
- 20:07Speaker 1: so it wouldn't surprise.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Me very limited. Rote Now from what we understand, he's
- 20:11Speaker 2: in really good physical shape. Now that does not mean
- 20:13Speaker 2: in game shape or conditioned, so Fanjio will find out.
- 20:17Speaker 2: But they guys, and you know this, he goes have
- 20:20Speaker 2: three healthy edges on the roster right now. They have
- 20:23Speaker 2: there and it is it is a centimeter fin their
- 20:26Speaker 2: their edge group to the point where and watch the
- 20:30Speaker 2: if you didn't watch it, Greg and Vic Fangio kind
- 20:33Speaker 2: of confirmed this. Basically when Camill line up on the edge,
- 20:37Speaker 2: he was an ad indfender against the run. He really
- 20:39Speaker 2: was not. He played almost exclusively on the edge as
- 20:42Speaker 2: a bass down player, a little bit nickel, but he
- 20:44Speaker 2: really didn't rush the passer right they got to use
- 20:47Speaker 2: I understand Vic doesn't want him doing that or is
- 20:50Speaker 2: reluctant to do it. I don't care like VI's been
- 20:53Speaker 2: great about he's got to do whatever he's got to do.
- 20:55Speaker 2: He's done that this season. He's done it really since
- 20:56Speaker 2: he's been here. But Patrick Johnston right now, the first
- 21:00Speaker 2: guy at the patch. I know he's been a nice story,
- 21:02Speaker 2: but come on, right where else.
- 21:04Speaker 1: You gonna go here? And you're light, Remember you're light
- 21:07Speaker 1: at the edges. With who you have?
- 21:09Speaker 2: They only have.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Three and I don't mean I mean light like physically too.
- 21:13Speaker 2: So like you mentioned that the other Yeah, you mentioned
- 21:15Speaker 2: that with Greg and then the only guy they have
- 21:18Speaker 2: on the on the practice squad is Powell Ryland, right,
- 21:20Speaker 2: that's it. He's ever playing an NFL game before.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you're right. I think listen if Brandon Graham,
- 21:25Speaker 1: if VIC thinks he can play fifteen snaps, Yeah, they
- 21:30Speaker 1: need it, man.
- 21:30Speaker 2: I mean now, I know they've played Carter in a
- 21:32Speaker 2: wide nine alignment. They've done that under Vic. You can
- 21:36Speaker 2: do that. O. Joe Moo's done it a little bit,
- 21:38Speaker 2: I believe last year. It's not ideal. Uh, And he's
- 21:44Speaker 2: got It's funny because he's got the body to play
- 21:45Speaker 2: outside anyway to line up in nine technique. But bottom
- 21:49Speaker 2: line is they've got some challenges here. I mean this
- 21:52Speaker 2: is they got some depth issues. We'll get to the interurport.
- 21:55Speaker 2: There are a couple the dread and pop ups happen.
- 21:56Speaker 2: We'll get to them in a couple of minutes here.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely transactions. So but again, Brandy Graham, technically as
- 22:04Speaker 1: we're talking, is not a on the fifty three man roster.
- 22:07Speaker 1: If he's gonna play, they would do they have? I
- 22:09Speaker 1: think they have an open spot, though I have to
- 22:11Speaker 1: go back and look. I thought they had an open spot.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Could be wrong about that, but either way, he'd have
- 22:15Speaker 1: to be put on the on the fifty three man
- 22:17Speaker 1: to be able to play.
- 22:18Speaker 2: H J.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Coryan Bennett, who has been out since the Rams game.
- 22:22Speaker 1: What was that week three?
- 22:23Speaker 2: Week three? Yes?
- 22:24Speaker 1: Yeah, week three out with the pectoral injury, is in
- 22:28Speaker 1: the twenty one day practice window, and I think this
- 22:31Speaker 1: is another guy Vick's like looking at, like is he
- 22:34Speaker 1: conditioned enough? Is he good? I don't know, Adam. You know,
- 22:39Speaker 1: he never really had a chance to play in mixed defense,
- 22:41Speaker 1: which is not easy to learn for a corner, and
- 22:44Speaker 1: then he got hurt. He may not have a choice
- 22:46Speaker 1: if he's active, because really, you could be one injury
- 22:50Speaker 1: away from getting in the game. But again I don't
- 22:53Speaker 1: there might be some other people hire them, maybe Parry
- 22:56Speaker 1: Nickerson or something, because Vic just has to see what
- 22:59Speaker 1: he's got in practice this week.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's an outside corner, he's not an inside corner.
- 23:04Speaker 2: So yeah, they need him. I mean, they they're another position.
- 23:09Speaker 2: You know, you can't predict injuries, and he's just had
- 23:11Speaker 2: so many problems in his career. He had both shoulders,
- 23:14Speaker 2: he had both shoulders done, you know, in the last
- 23:17Speaker 2: two seasons terms of surgery. But he said he was
- 23:20Speaker 2: good to go. He told before the trade because he
- 23:22Speaker 2: didn't know he's getting traded. Before the trade for the
- 23:24Speaker 2: Raiders to the Eagles, he told the reporters that and
- 23:26Speaker 2: with who cover the Raiders that he said he was good,
- 23:28Speaker 2: he's cleaning's feeling great. And then he gets hurt with
- 23:30Speaker 2: his pectoral strain. So it's it's unfortunate, but they need him.
- 23:35Speaker 2: This is something and then we'll we'll get closer to
- 23:37Speaker 2: the trade deadline. We'll talk more about it next week.
- 23:39Speaker 2: But watch Edge and watch corner Man. Nothing that's happened
- 23:41Speaker 2: is going to change it that they that do you
- 23:44Speaker 2: want to win the Super Bowl? The Eagles can absolutely
- 23:46Speaker 2: make another run to get there.
- 23:48Speaker 1: They got to have better.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Players at both positions.
- 23:49Speaker 1: This is the way it is, all right, a tight
- 23:52Speaker 1: end the Eagles who had signed Jaheem Beil on the
- 23:54Speaker 1: practice squad. I think by the time we did when
- 23:56Speaker 1: we did our last podcast we talk about it, well,
- 23:58Speaker 1: he's already gone. As they continue to do that. E J.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Jenkins reverts back to the practice squad after the game
- 24:04Speaker 1: and Adam, you predicted it. I don't know if this
- 24:07Speaker 1: was the guy that you predicted. You said, there's no
- 24:10Speaker 1: way the Eagles get through this week without signing some
- 24:13Speaker 1: kind of veteran interior offensive lineman. And Kaplin Stradamis is there,
- 24:18Speaker 1: and the Eagles bring back Sua Opeta to the practice squad.
- 24:23Speaker 1: You know, a lot out there? What's that? We know?
- 24:27Speaker 1: There's not a lot out there, I know.
- 24:29Speaker 2: But the thing is they need a guard center, not
- 24:31Speaker 2: just guard as Sue as we reported four or five
- 24:33Speaker 2: whenever the heck, he was drafted like he could only
- 24:35Speaker 2: play one side of the line, and it took him
- 24:38Speaker 2: a while to get used to. Matt Prior could learn
- 24:41Speaker 2: something about this over time. A patta could play both
- 24:44Speaker 2: guard spots, right, So that's important, but they need They've
- 24:49Speaker 2: not shown the willingness to put Ken Drew Kendall on
- 24:51Speaker 2: the way. He hasn't played yet, he hasn't been active. Yeah,
- 24:54Speaker 2: they need a backup center in the worst way.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yep.
- 24:58Speaker 2: They could say whatever they want about Brett Brett toafe.
- 25:03Speaker 2: I know. I asked Will Shipley about him. He talked
- 25:07Speaker 2: about him, and I know, I get he's smart. He's
- 25:10Speaker 2: been there on off the Rogers since nineteen and they
- 25:15Speaker 2: got through the game. They won. But you just worry
- 25:18Speaker 2: about this. You need insurance, man, and anyone you're signing
- 25:21Speaker 2: off the street is cost effective. It's not cost you
- 25:24Speaker 2: hardly anything. It doesn't. It's not a cap issue. Yes,
- 25:26Speaker 2: they got to do it, man, you know, but I
- 25:28Speaker 2: haven't done it.
- 25:29Speaker 1: So I get. I got the sense reading the tea leaves,
- 25:32Speaker 1: and we'll look into this if we can. It didn't
- 25:36Speaker 1: sound like they were very committal. Both definitely playing center
- 25:40Speaker 1: if Jurgens is out against the Giants, but we'll talk
- 25:44Speaker 1: about that in a second. That those are the transactions.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Opeta's on the practice squad. It does give them someone
- 25:49Speaker 1: that just doubt one is familiar with. He can play
- 25:52Speaker 1: both sides, but he's also available for a reason too.
- 25:55Speaker 1: It's not like he was, you know, poached from a team.
- 25:57Speaker 1: He was signed off to the practice squad of the street.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I don't even know what kind of shape he's in,
- 26:02Speaker 1: but he's he's there on the.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Practice gonna find off very quickly because they need their depth.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Again on the offensive line is another area where they're
- 26:10Speaker 2: really fed.
- 26:11Speaker 1: All right, all right, So now we get into the
- 26:14Speaker 1: injuries and the injury report and they're, like you said,
- 26:17Speaker 1: there's some pop ups we got to talk about. There
- 26:19Speaker 1: were some people out of practice. H Jurgons was out
- 26:22Speaker 1: of practice Wednesday with the knee. It doesn't doesn't seem
- 26:26Speaker 1: good at him. And again I I sensed that it's
- 26:30Speaker 1: not the total. I sense that maybe if they go
- 26:33Speaker 1: about it without Jurgons, that Dickerson plays center and Toth
- 26:38Speaker 1: plays left guard because that's more comfortable for Toath he
- 26:41Speaker 1: doesn't have to snap. But as you mentioned, Dickerson also
- 26:45Speaker 1: limited in practice on Monday, and now it's ankle slash back, right,
- 26:50Speaker 1: So you know that's not great.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Now they've got just wh when I look at their
- 26:58Speaker 2: injury report, uh, as I am right now, And.
- 27:02Speaker 1: This was a real practice by the way, everyone this
- 27:04Speaker 1: is not Yeah.
- 27:04Speaker 2: It wasn't a walk through. Yeah. Yeah, let me just
- 27:08Speaker 2: go through this real quickly here.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Sure you want to start with AJ Brown? I mean
- 27:11Speaker 1: he's out, he missed.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Yeah, he isn't. This is one we didn't know about.
- 27:16Speaker 2: That's your dread and pop back. I'd be very surprised
- 27:19Speaker 2: if he doesn't play. I know it's a hamstring andry.
- 27:21Speaker 2: The only reason why I say that is because he's tweeting.
- 27:26Speaker 2: He's xing if you want to call whatever, you want to,
- 27:27Speaker 2: go on to the next platform.
- 27:29Speaker 1: He was also standing on the sideline next to Big Doms.
- 27:33Speaker 1: You're right. I think we said this at the end
- 27:35Speaker 1: of training camp when people were worried about all the
- 27:37Speaker 1: time he was missing, and you and I said, yeah,
- 27:40Speaker 1: we're watching him throwing passes to receivers like he's planting
- 27:44Speaker 1: the leg. You start, he's fine. I can't say with
- 27:47Speaker 1: one hundred percent certainty he's fine this time, but it
- 27:50Speaker 1: is a good sign that he's standing on the on
- 27:52Speaker 1: the sideline and not inside.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Yeah. So a J Brown with a hamstring, We'll keep
- 27:58Speaker 2: an eye on it.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Uh.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Now, if he doesn't practice today, which is Thursday and
- 28:03Speaker 2: is a limited Friday, I would be concerned. But well
- 28:05Speaker 2: that's just one. Just know how these injury reports go.
- 28:08Speaker 2: The key day is always Friday because for a Sunday game,
- 28:11Speaker 2: that's that's when you know you have a pretty good
- 28:12Speaker 2: idea if the guy's going to play or not. Calcaterra
- 28:15Speaker 2: got some light working and by the way, really cool
- 28:17Speaker 2: thing Shipley does describe. Andrew asked him about the bleaque injury. Boy,
- 28:22Speaker 2: did he give a great detail on new a bleak injury.
- 28:24Speaker 2: I won't give it away, but it was really cool. Yes,
- 28:28Speaker 2: dreaded pop up got heard calf limited on Wednesday, a
- 28:32Speaker 2: new one he's had neat he had knee injury where
- 28:34Speaker 2: he missed the game. We'll keep an eye on that.
- 28:37Speaker 2: As an older player, you're you're always concerned about that. Uh,
- 28:40Speaker 2: calf injury you mentioned. Jurgens did not work. Uh that's
- 28:44Speaker 2: pretty much. Oh, oh, I forget a Joemo though. He
- 28:47Speaker 2: was We're gonna go. We're gonna finish off offense. Dickerson
- 28:50Speaker 2: Now he's got the left ankle still on there. Now
- 28:52Speaker 2: he's got a back issue. He's had back problems before.
- 28:54Speaker 2: You got to watch that. He did get some work in.
- 28:57Speaker 2: We're gonna keep an eye on that going to defense.
- 28:58Speaker 2: As you mentioned Joemo now is a shoulder issue. He
- 29:01Speaker 2: did get some work in a Wednesday. That's shoulder, you know,
- 29:05Speaker 2: it's contact issue. Got to be able to see that.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Charter got hurt on special teams with the ankle. Didn't
- 29:09Speaker 2: work on Wednesday. Other than that, in the concussion protocol,
- 29:17Speaker 2: he couldn't work.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Everybody. I got to remind everybody that if he does
- 29:22Speaker 1: appear on the on as a practice, he has to
- 29:25Speaker 1: practice to be able to play. So he's got to
- 29:27Speaker 1: appear in some former fashion as a limited or or
- 29:31Speaker 1: he has to do something on the practice field as
- 29:33Speaker 1: part of the protocol. So uh, Thursday, Friday.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yes, yes, Jelari won't play. According to Vic, he broke
- 29:40Speaker 2: the news. He's I don't think so. So yeah, they've
- 29:44Speaker 2: got uh, they've got new ones. Were the ones aren't watch?
- 29:48Speaker 2: Are Brown?
- 29:50Speaker 1: Jurgen's for sure Brown?
- 29:52Speaker 2: Yeah, Bennett because they need him. If he can play,
- 29:55Speaker 2: he plays, yep.
- 29:57Speaker 1: But how much if if VIC thinks that this guy
- 30:00Speaker 1: is in good shape, yeah and he can play, I
- 30:03Speaker 1: gotta think it's more special teams and I can't. I
- 30:06Speaker 1: can't imagine he starts.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Over any just just to sub in honestly, to get
- 30:11Speaker 2: Ringo off the field, I mean to get Bennett in there.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Bet Bennett's a better football player. Yeah. By the way,
- 30:17Speaker 2: we got to watch Goddard with a calf.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean Ojomo the fact that he got to
- 30:24Speaker 2: work in it is is a good thing. But yeah,
- 30:26Speaker 2: they have they have more and and we'll get to
- 30:29Speaker 2: the Giants in a minute. But yeah, they look again
- 30:31Speaker 2: dreaded pop ups on Wednesday. It's never a good thing.
- 30:35Speaker 2: But I don't get worried for fantasy, especially until Friday.
- 30:38Speaker 2: That's when I'm like a hawk on these things because
- 30:40Speaker 2: i gotta know if my players are gonna be the lineup.
- 30:42Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, I've dealt with injuries, you know,
- 30:44Speaker 2: on injury report for over twenty five years, so I
- 30:46Speaker 2: kind of have a pretty good feel for it. You
- 30:48Speaker 2: get tricks sometimes.
- 30:50Speaker 1: And also I was gonna say there's some good news
- 30:53Speaker 1: though on this injury report by who's not on.
- 30:55Speaker 2: It, Oh, Jalen Carter. Not good point, Jalen Carter with
- 30:58Speaker 2: the heel and during David with the shoulder. Yeah, the
- 31:00Speaker 2: big one is Carter with the heel. That is a
- 31:02Speaker 2: big thing for me. Not to have that thing. That's good.
- 31:05Speaker 2: That's a positive, good point, all right.
- 31:07Speaker 1: So now we'll get into the Giants' injuries. They had
- 31:11Speaker 1: a scare a little bit in that game. Not only
- 31:13Speaker 1: did they blow it, but I read that Burns had
- 31:17Speaker 1: left the game in a boot. So that was a
- 31:19Speaker 1: little uh nerve racking for them. I don't know if
- 31:22Speaker 1: he had.
- 31:22Speaker 2: As he's playing. Yeah, he actually said yeah, he was
- 31:25Speaker 2: interviewed Wednesday, said he's good to go. It's actually a hip.
- 31:27Speaker 2: There is a hip the two that they're very concerned about,
- 31:32Speaker 2: Pulson and Diebo when they're starting corners with a knee injury.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Javon Holland with a neck didn't work and that was
- 31:37Speaker 2: that's concerning John Michael Schmidz, their center didn't play last week.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Aaron Schlottman remember him from Denver and the Vikings. He's
- 31:45Speaker 2: a journeyman. He started for him last week. Neighbors is
- 31:47Speaker 2: out for the season. Acl Mike McFadden, who's a really
- 31:50Speaker 2: underrated inside backer. He's out until late in the season
- 31:54Speaker 2: with a foot injury. They're actually gonna have a kicker
- 31:55Speaker 2: this week.
- 31:56Speaker 1: How about that?
- 31:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know what it is you met. You
- 32:00Speaker 2: remind me of all the problems Graham Cano has had
- 32:02Speaker 2: over his career with injury. He's playing this week. He's
- 32:05Speaker 2: dosigny for return, but he's going to kick there. They're
- 32:07Speaker 2: pretty certain of it. They kicked the kid, they kicked
- 32:10Speaker 2: him out, the kid who had a terrible game on Sunday.
- 32:14Speaker 2: So it'll be uh, Graham Gono's back. Darius Slayton, by
- 32:17Speaker 2: the way, said he expects to play, and you know
- 32:19Speaker 2: at times he's been the Eagles killer. They need him.
- 32:21Speaker 2: They're really late receiver. Yep, those are the injuries, but yeah,
- 32:25Speaker 2: both teams have some concerns that could impact this matchup.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I got a feel and I didn't ask will this.
- 32:32Speaker 2: We didn't get to it with him. I got to
- 32:34Speaker 2: feel like they got to be fired up for this game.
- 32:36Speaker 2: It's at home Kelly Green's I know it's a minor thing,
- 32:40Speaker 2: but getting embarrassed. That's another great thing about Sirian is
- 32:44Speaker 2: how they you rarely see the Eagles get beat badly
- 32:47Speaker 2: since he's been the head coach, when everyone's playing, when
- 32:50Speaker 2: they've had their players. You know what happened in Tampa
- 32:52Speaker 2: last year and the Week four is the key players
- 32:54Speaker 2: were out when they have their now again, yes, Dickerson
- 32:57Speaker 2: was out and Carter's out, But just to get embarrassed
- 33:01Speaker 2: like that, to get handled it. It's not like a
- 33:04Speaker 2: Siriani coach team. I would expect them to come out.
- 33:07Speaker 2: You could see what way I'm leaning when we pick
- 33:09Speaker 2: our games on Friday or Saturday, whatever it is, get
- 33:11Speaker 2: the pregame show. But anyway, that's that.

- 35:36Speaker 1: experience made for Philly fans twenty one and up. Here's
- 35:41Speaker 1: something you'd also never believe. The Eagles as a collective
- 35:43Speaker 1: team have eleven sacks through seven games. Nine has nine sacks.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Oh my god, nine Ryan has too fewer than the
- 35:54Speaker 1: entire Eagles pass rush. That is that is not something
- 35:58Speaker 1: I had on my twenty twenty five Eagle bingo card.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Oh no, I thought you're gonna tell me. I Actually
- 36:03Speaker 2: I may or may not. Who's leading them in sacks
- 36:05Speaker 2: is like Patrick Johnson or something really weird like that.
- 36:08Speaker 1: It is I think it's still Zarius Smith. Actually, no,
- 36:12Speaker 1: Laura Jomo with three and Bond has two. Okay, okay,
- 36:17Speaker 1: Jordan Davis has two, Zaria Smith one and a half.
- 36:19Speaker 1: So Zariah Smith is still their leading edge rusher for
- 36:23Speaker 1: sacks with one and a half. Isn't that crazy?
- 36:26Speaker 2: It's look that it's again BG coming backs great? Who
- 36:30Speaker 2: knows what it's gonna look like? I like what he
- 36:32Speaker 2: said in his little video, no expectations because you have
- 36:34Speaker 2: to say that he's thirty seven years old. Who the
- 36:36Speaker 2: hell he doesn't know?
- 36:38Speaker 1: All right, let me leave you with one other great stat.
- 36:40Speaker 1: He goes at five interceptions. Okay, not one single one
- 36:45Speaker 1: of them has come from a cornerback.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I knew you're it's a bit of weird. Look,
- 36:51Speaker 2: here's the thing about the weirdness of the season, right,
- 36:53Speaker 2: they're five and two somehow, that's the crazy thing. They
- 36:57Speaker 2: got a lot of improvement to go. Everybody knows that
- 36:59Speaker 2: who watch as the team closely, everyone watching this game
- 37:01Speaker 2: that this show obviously knows that they're gonna get some
- 37:04Speaker 2: reinforcements back eventually see about Bennett and other guys. But
- 37:08Speaker 2: the coaches know what. No one's proud of that they
- 37:11Speaker 2: haven't played a complete game yet at all. They just
- 37:13Speaker 2: have not. But you know, we'll see if they can
- 37:16Speaker 2: build off of it. But it's a long season.
- 37:18Speaker 1: This is the year.
- 37:20Speaker 2: It's completely This is the most wide open year I've
- 37:22Speaker 2: seen in over a decade. There are no dominant football teams.
- 37:25Speaker 2: No one's even close to dominant like Negles were last
- 37:26Speaker 2: te time.
- 37:27Speaker 1: No, that's why I started opening the show to ask
- 37:28Speaker 1: you about all these teams. And I didn't even forgotten.
- 37:31Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, I.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Don't believe that Packers.
- 37:34Speaker 1: What's that?
- 37:37Speaker 2: That's insane? Yeah, but I wish I never picked the
- 37:40Speaker 2: Packers to to UH to win their division Detroit. I
- 37:43Speaker 2: they were my team four years ago when no one
- 37:45Speaker 2: liked them. And then I I got worried about John
- 37:47Speaker 2: Morton the OC because he didn't do well with the Jets. Yeah,
- 37:50Speaker 2: and I forgot he's with Ben Jonson three years I
- 37:53Speaker 2: should have. And the fact that they're winning with their
- 37:56Speaker 2: whole secondaries out last week.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Liones, Yeah, well, they've learned to play without a lot
- 38:02Speaker 1: of it. They've learned to play with injuries a lot
- 38:03Speaker 1: over the last two years. Right, Yeah, they're getting a
- 38:05Speaker 1: little healthier. McNeil's back, But either way, this game against
- 38:08Speaker 1: the Eagles Giants is a huge, huge game for the
- 38:11Speaker 1: Eagles before the bye, and we will have it all
- 38:13Speaker 1: broken down from A to Z with Greg Cosel on
- 38:17Speaker 1: the Inside the Birds pregame Show and that'll be out
- 38:19Speaker 1: Saturday six am. That's gonna do it for this Inside
- 38:22Speaker 1: the Birds podcast, the leading podcast in Eagles Intel, and
- 38:26Speaker 1: as always, we thank you for flying with us Inside Ubber.
