Can We Stop Pretending that We Are a Free Society?
We constantly talk about free societies, but when we look at the Western world, are we really a free people? Do we ever stop to think about what true freedom and true liberty actually mean? Sure, we get to vote on elected officials and maybe some local issues, but does that mean we are free? While our officials constantly preach about democracy and freedom, the truth is we are anything but a free society.
