  [SPEAKER_00]: But we're talking about the five players who right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If the Jaguar has got them at 56 overall in the NFL draft, their first draft selection, not going to be till Friday, April 24th, obviously the draft kicks off on Thursday, April 23rd, but obviously the Jags can trade up, they can do different things, but right now, 56 is their first pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If they're there at 56 in the Jaguars, take them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I love the NFL draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If you all been on the channel for a long time, you know that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So this is just a lot of fun to me.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so there's five players here who, again, I think could be in the Jaguars, crosshairs, for different reasons.

  [SPEAKER_00]: five players that I think could be available at 56, like Caleb Banks is not on this list.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he's gonna be there at 56, and like there's a number of guys like that, and in my evaluation and my understanding of the draft, I don't think they'll be there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And we can talk about some of those guys on a future episode where it's like, yeah, if they fell, holy cow, but that would just be absolutely shocking.

  [SPEAKER_00]: These are players that I think could legitimately be in this range.

  [SPEAKER_00]: whether they should be in this range or not, that's more debatable, but we're gonna get into it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And we talked about Chris Johnson earlier.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is a player that is in this range for me of these players.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I might have him, I think we're gonna go through five players right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I might have him in my top 10, 456 overall, but I couldn't put a corner that I had in the same tier as these players were about to talk about above these players because I just don't really see the path for a corner as much as I do.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's not to say reach, but if you're in the same tier for me, yeah, you go with the players that can actually make an impact for you right now, and I don't think corner back is a position you look at and you can say that that position can make a quick impact for the Jag Course.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Number one for me, is Grayson Houghton, interior defensive linemen out of Oklahoma.

  [SPEAKER_00]: What an unbelievable athlete at his size.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he's 293 pounds, 6-foot 3 293 pounds, 31 and 8-sarm, so does not have that

  [SPEAKER_00]: But as you know, if you've been following James Gladstone and the Rams and different teams from that kind of mold of thinking aren't like isn't as important as it is for Trent Balky teams or old school style of thinking and on the interior as well, but I digress.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Ten end chance, which is great, and you see that with him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So let's start with the athleticism though.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember watching a more reactive, proactive, but also reactive, athlete at 290 plus pounds in a very, I mean, I don't know ever, honestly, like his explosiveness off the ball, stability is stay low.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then his redirection, like his ankle flexion, his ability to redirect the lateral quickness, unbelievable explosiveness.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you see like this stuff in his testing numbers, testing numbers or excellent.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But you see it even more on tape.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Some of the lateral movements he has to like, there could be a huge gap that he's filling.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And the running back, there's no way that this defensive

  [SPEAKER_00]: you know keep his feet and track down this running back and he does or you know a quarterback rolling out of the pocket who's a good athlete and he's just able to bend and and use his flexibility seamlessly track down that quarterback despite rushing full speed ahead and then you know change direction that's it's pretty incredible stuff and then the hands do show up consistently I feel like his hands

  [SPEAKER_00]: whether he's using them to shield opponents from getting into his frame or using them to get into the opponents frame, his hands, like I feel like he strikes extremely well with those hands.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's a big deal to me for a interior defense of Lyman.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So his role with the Jaguars is clear.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I want the Jaguars ideally to have seven rushers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Seven players on defense of front who can affect the quarterback.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Right now, I believe they have four.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Josh Heinz Allen, Trayvon Walker, Dennis Gardeck, and Eric Armstrong.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One of those can be a vet.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Two of those can be in the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I'm gonna get my wish.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Grace and Houghton, I think would be incredible at 56 overall for the Jaguars, three tech style of play, get in there, get after the court about, I mean, he plays the rum pretty well for his size.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to be asked him to take on double teams or you know, protect the egg app or anything like that at the next level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I do think he also does a great job on games and stunts up front like if he knows what he's supposed to be doing you know with these games how he's supposed to execute the timing of it and how he's supposed to attack you know and maybe be freeing up someone else to get after the quarterback which you would love to see more of interior defensive linemen freeing up Josh Hines Allen or freeing up, Trayvon Walker or freeing up Deniz whoever it is to get after the quarterback

  [SPEAKER_00]: I just, you know, put my stamp on Grace and Houghton for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would be so elated and excited to see him in black and teal, moving forward.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And also be really, really freaking excited about a position that maybe not a lot of people are thinking about right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Chase Basantis, guard, Texas A&M.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguar is clearly have a good offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that they have a offensive line that has good depth to it, good floor, decent ceiling.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Anton Harrison is the one player in my mind who can really potentially be like a all-pro, certainly a Pro Bowl caliber player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When I say proble caliber, I don't mean making the proble because, you know, should or Sanders made the proble.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, somebody who deserves to be there, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, somebody who could be like top five at their position in the league, top five, top ten, something like that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that, you know, Anton has that, but outside of that, I don't know.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Or, like, maybe Monheim or Mylim could be that, but like, I like as are Cleveland, I don't think he's a top ten player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: at guard Robert Hainesy I like him I don't think he's he's like maybe borderline top 15 right now Colvin and Lannon unbelievable run last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Where's he gonna settle in at when he's a full-time starter?

  [SPEAKER_00]: So to me Chase Basantis is one of these players that goes in this range a lot maybe a little bit earlier but

  [SPEAKER_00]: has that ability to maybe be a elevator for the jackwars offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And if you could have two of those guys like Anton here is an and a chase basantist that could really in my opinion.

  [SPEAKER_00]: elevate like I said elevate that offensive line six with five three 15 shoulder arms again thirty one three quarters nine and three quarters hands very good athlete unbelievable snatch trap just plays the game with a violence and a energy the way I saw hands on here some plan at Oklahoma not the same type of player but just kind of similar mindset out there I feel like

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that getting Chase Pissantes in here could be unbelievable for protecting Trevor Lawrence and for creating more athleticism.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And look, as your Cleveland, is a good athlete.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Patrick McCary, he's pretty good athlete too, but I think Chase Pissantes just on another level on the field than those guys.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And look, as your Cleveland, veteran, not gonna be around forever, all that stuff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Chase Basantis could really upgrade that offensive line, and we're at this point in the draft where I'm starting to look at guys, and I just don't really see that from other guys.

  [SPEAKER_00]: My next player is a player who admittedly has a more difficult path to finding the field early on, but that's why I'd receive a Skylar Bell, who we talked a lot about on Friday when I did a mock draft, and I mocked him to the jag wars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: His offensive coordinator, which I did not know this when I made that video, is Nonseo Campanese.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Anthony Campanese brother.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So there's big connection there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Skylar Bell, to me, is perfect for a Liam Cohen offense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen is so good at getting guys the ball quickly.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's been so good with the screen game, with the jet sweeps.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Skylar Bell is a Yak monster.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's also six foot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 192 pounds, 10-inch hands, you love hand size for receivers because they're trying to catch fastballs from these NFL quarterbacks.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Goap and get it, he's really good at one hand and grabs what you would expect with those large hands.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's really good at creating separation at all levels of the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Murray's getting a little worried about the storm here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Say, how do I marry?

  [SPEAKER_00]: She hasn't been loving storms lately.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The kid just is unbelievable.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a little bit older.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's like 23 years old, but I think you put him in this Liam Cohen offense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a Z, he's a slot, he's somebody you can move around and get the ball in all these different ways.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you just have more and more talent on that offense for opponents to deal with.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he can make the fantastic catch down the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You're like, well, how's he getting on the field?

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has to earn his way onto the field for sure because you got guys, but would it shock me, we'll talk about Brian Thomas Jr. in proving, and I hope he does, and I think you saw improvement from home down the stretch, but would it be a bad idea, necessarily, to have another guy who's a great athlete who can win down the field, who can get the ball to an a variety of ways, would that be a bad idea?

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Skylar Bell fits that to a T and, you know, you would think there would be a strong connection with this guy just because of who his coach is, again, Anthony Camponele's brother.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he's got size, I mean, six two isn't the tallest guy, but he's got a lot of the kind of traits that Devin Lloyd brought to the table, but he's a better athlete than Devin Lloyd was.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Four, five, one, 40 yard dash, one, five, eight, 10 split, 37 inch vertical jump, 21 bench press reps, 10, five broad, great athlete on tape, great athlete testing,

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that his compared to Ventrel, he's bigger, he's more athletic, and I just think that he has more of the prototypical traits, but I do love Ventrel's game too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I told y'all, if Ventrel ends up being the Jaguar starter for Devon Lloyd's spot, this upcoming year, I think he could do a great job with it, and I think he'll earn another starting job, whether it's in Jacksonville or elsewhere the following season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he's a very young player, 21 years old.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's a player I'd be fired up about.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, from this regimes like prototype and stuff like they usually are not investing a pick that high or like your first pick in the draft on an off-ball linebacker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: At 56 for your Jacksonville Jaguars is none other than Michigan, Ed Rushard, Derrick Moore.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Six foot four, two, fifty, five, thirty, three, and three, eight, and charms.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Did not test at the combine.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But you look at what he does on film.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he is a great past rusher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he wins in a way that a lot of teams are looking for now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's not Jaredverse, but he might be like Jaredverse light.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a technical past rusher, and he can rush from a lot of different alignments.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I just, if the Jags somehow walked away with Derek Moore and Grace and Halton from this draft, which we've mocked before, we've mocked that happening, that could be a coup for them really getting that youthful,

  [SPEAKER_00]: just injection of talent into that defensive front, both on the interior and on the edge.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Derek Moore has great hand uses, I think he does show the ability to be a good run defender.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I do think he's strong enough in that regard.

  [SPEAKER_00]: but you're really bringing him in because you want him to get after the quarterback and you want him to help everybody else get after the quarterback too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I just see with his athletic traits, his size, his hand usage, his ability to went through your chest and also to win on the outside arc and converting back inside, crossing the face.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This is a player, the Jaguar should be very high on in my opinion, and really excited to see where he ends up going.
