- 2:24Speaker 2: like you know the buttons are push. Well, we're not
- 2:28Speaker 2: doing it now. Just I threw it like as soon
- 2:30Speaker 2: as you walked in the door. I threw that at
- 2:32Speaker 2: you because I assume in this chair everything's like super easy.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Here do this throw this up real quick, and it's
- 2:39Speaker 2: not I get it, but welcome in fired up.
- 2:43Speaker 6: It gets easy to be fair well yeah, yeah, like
- 2:47Speaker 6: after a while.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah, don't ask Alandra how to do something after she's
- 2:52Speaker 4: told you to do it one time. Do not do
- 2:55Speaker 4: it if you told you to do it eleven times.
- 2:58Speaker 5: You asked me every weekend how to do it.
- 3:02Speaker 4: I'm doing my show on Eagle. I forgot how to
- 3:04Speaker 4: do the most basic things. She's like, are you that
- 3:06Speaker 4: I've showed you an idiot? I was like, well, yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 4: I can't argue that.
- 3:10Speaker 6: And then he tried to tell Brittany like Alandra was like,
- 3:12Speaker 6: I've told you a million times, and Brittany was like, yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 6: she has told you.
- 3:17Speaker 3: But in his in Marlow's defense, though he probably doesn't
- 3:20Speaker 3: he probably doesn't listen. Yeah.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Thanks, that's not where I thought that was going.
- 3:24Speaker 5: He's just slow.
- 3:25Speaker 3: But you're doing great. Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 2: But they're like, yeah, once you do things a lot, yeah,
- 3:29Speaker 2: it does get easy, like must be for a while,
- 3:31Speaker 2: Like throwing football got easy for me. Yeah, live Marlert
- 3:35Speaker 2: doing the weather, posting on the social super super easy?
- 3:40Speaker 5: Are doing it again tomorrow?
- 3:41Speaker 3: No, okay, I'm gonna write it down this stime bullet point.
- 3:45Speaker 3: No you're not. I don't remember all of that.

- 3:51Speaker 4: beautiful Thursday morning going beautiful? It's really nice though, So
- 3:56Speaker 4: it was.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I was outside. I walked outside to take my dog
- 4:00Speaker 3: out this morning at five o five am. You got
- 4:02Speaker 3: a dog, Yeah, I got a dog, big dog.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Big dog, don't you don't.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I had to feed my dog because I gotta let
- 4:11Speaker 3: the big dog eat.
- 4:12Speaker 4: What kind of big what kind of dog?
- 4:14Speaker 3: Uh? An Italian mastiff corso name steel?
- 4:18Speaker 4: Not that's sick, that's awesome. I'm not an American massif.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Answer that. Around here, we just call that a mastiff.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Oh okay, well I think we just sortady trying to
- 4:30Speaker 4: call him Americans. Yours an American mastiff? Well, heel is
- 4:33Speaker 4: pretty bad ass.
- 4:34Speaker 3: He's he's an Italian American.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, so he's from New York.
- 4:39Speaker 3: No, he's actually from South Carolina. What do you call him?
- 4:43Speaker 4: Paul leady?
- 4:46Speaker 5: I like it?
- 4:46Speaker 3: That was pretty good.
- 4:48Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, I got like I got really thrown off
- 4:53Speaker 7: when you stuck your tongue out, are you licking the air?
- 5:02Speaker 5: And they actually so much gets by.
- 5:06Speaker 4: There is a lot, Hey, can we not talk about
- 5:07Speaker 4: this today? Uh? First things First, guys, we're gonna talk
- 5:10Speaker 4: about exactly that.
- 5:12Speaker 3: That's my favorite flooding moment.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Every well, that's that's you got to learn that, Like,
- 5:17Speaker 2: do not tell me not to talk about something that's
- 5:19Speaker 2: going to be the how we start the show. Like
- 5:22Speaker 2: you've been friendship the biggest Alabama fan in Louisiana?
- 5:26Speaker 3: Do you think?
- 5:27Speaker 4: I don't think I am probably biggest South Carolina fan
- 5:29Speaker 4: top five, top five, and you ain't. I have not
- 5:38Speaker 4: had enough caffeine yet, barely had any Wow? Yeah, but yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 4: I mean probably not.
- 5:45Speaker 3: I think probably.
- 5:46Speaker 4: I almost wore a Poncho shirt because we got one
- 5:49Speaker 4: locked on. Those things are incredibly comfortable.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Yeah they're awesome. Yeah they are. Did you so you
- 5:53Speaker 3: got the pearl snap? Yeah? Oh yeah.
- 5:55Speaker 4: But it's also very heavy up top, which I don't
- 5:57Speaker 4: get just like me.
- 5:59Speaker 6: So they did you know that you're talking to a
- 6:02Speaker 6: male model for Poncho?
- 6:04Speaker 3: Are you really a male model for Pancho? Yeah? Those
- 6:06Speaker 3: things are incredibly not just like not just like a
- 6:09Speaker 3: hand model, not a.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Hand the world's greatest hand line.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that's his face and everything. Yeah, that's cool. Not
- 6:17Speaker 3: a big deal. Yeah, yeah, they're good. They got that
- 6:19Speaker 3: little hidden pocket of it. That's why they are little here.
- 6:22Speaker 5: You can clean your phone with them.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, got a new one.
- 6:26Speaker 5: We don't have to just got back.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why I had to walk down the stairs
- 6:29Speaker 3: and let him. Got a new phone.
- 6:31Speaker 4: I keep getting these updates saying thank you for your purchase,
- 6:34Speaker 4: and I have not purchased anything. So I think I've
- 6:36Speaker 4: already been hacked, which is great. Didn't No, it's it
- 6:40Speaker 4: was free because they messed it up.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah, okay, it.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Was like a battery issue anyway.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Uh No.
- 6:45Speaker 4: The Pacha thing is really great. But there's a South
- 6:47Speaker 4: Carolina emblem on it, which I was like, that's gonna
- 6:49Speaker 4: look stupid. Also, I don't say it's about a lot
- 6:52Speaker 4: of my clothes, but it's kind of big. So I
- 6:55Speaker 4: was like, I'll just be swimming in that thing. Okay,
- 6:58Speaker 4: Brett beelam up here, Come on.
- 6:59Speaker 3: No, you don't have that water, bad body.
- 7:05Speaker 8: I was.
- 7:05Speaker 4: I was on a radio share somebody or yesterday, somebody
- 7:08Speaker 4: goes he was throwing shade. I go, he's making a
- 7:10Speaker 4: lot of shade.
- 7:11Speaker 3: That's so good. He's making a ton of shade.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Bro I would love to sit under a Brett Beel
- 7:21Speaker 5: of my tree.
- 7:22Speaker 4: I mean just on the island top, you know what
- 7:23Speaker 4: I mean?
- 7:24Speaker 2: Never get Yeah, you need zero sps.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Have a thousand from Brett Belam. This is exactly how
- 7:33Speaker 4: I thought the sho would start.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I don't know if I've ever thought any show is
- 7:38Speaker 2: going to start anyway.
- 7:40Speaker 6: I never have like an idea of how a top
- 7:44Speaker 6: five shade producing coaches in college football.
- 7:47Speaker 3: We should do that?
- 7:48Speaker 5: Him, Mike Elco.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Mikelo is built like.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Sam Pittman's chest.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Oh man, I.
- 7:53Speaker 4: Miss Pittman so much.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Who was that old coach for our coach well Charlie
- 7:59Speaker 2: for Kansas Mangino that was him and Maryland So is
- 8:02Speaker 2: that right?
- 8:03Speaker 3: Yes?
- 8:03Speaker 4: No, yes, I believe No, No, that was Ralph Frigent
- 8:06Speaker 4: who he was pretty big and he like he pulled
- 8:11Speaker 4: his bridges up a lot like his bridges.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Yeah, they were up up his billy button.
- 8:15Speaker 4: Can I tell you my favorite college game day moment
- 8:17Speaker 4: in the history of college game day? Sure, Mark Mangino
- 8:20Speaker 4: is at Kansas. Can we pull a picture of Mark Mangino.
- 8:23Speaker 4: It's not going to fit in the screen.
- 8:25Speaker 3: It's super easy to do. Just pull it out, pull
- 8:27Speaker 3: it out, okay, super fast.
- 8:29Speaker 4: So he is he is the biggest He's the biggest
- 8:32Speaker 4: coach maybe in the history of well he was huge.
- 8:35Speaker 4: So in two thousand and seven, the crazy season, ye
- 8:39Speaker 4: that you guys won the national title. Remember Kansas and
- 8:42Speaker 4: Missouri were like one in three or like three and
- 8:44Speaker 4: five or something like that going into the final weekend.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I think I think they might have been one in three.
- 8:48Speaker 4: And they're playing in Kansas City. It's this massive, massive
- 8:52Speaker 4: game winner goes to the Big twelve title game and
- 8:55Speaker 4: so Kansas is it's they're they're doing it at the
- 8:58Speaker 4: at the Chief Stadium, right. So they somebody that puts
- 9:02Speaker 4: this giant cardboard cutout of Mark Mangino's face right behind
- 9:06Speaker 4: the camera in Game Day. Okay, so for the entire
- 9:09Speaker 4: first segment you see this giant fat face behind the
- 9:12Speaker 4: cameras in game day. All right, they go to commercial,
- 9:15Speaker 4: they come back, same face sitting there. All of a sudden,
- 9:18Speaker 4: the person next to him pulls out a giant cupcake
- 9:21Speaker 4: and just starts slamming it into the side of his face.
- 9:24Speaker 4: For the entire three hours of the shit. It was hilarious.
- 9:28Speaker 3: A real cupcake cutout.
- 9:30Speaker 4: A cutout of a cupcake. It was really funny. That's funny.
- 9:34Speaker 3: It was it the end.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Yeah, I looked at him if he's pretty big.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I do have a nothing like body shame either,
- 9:40Speaker 3: but it's very noticeable like some of these coaches, just
- 9:43Speaker 3: like you noticed the waterbed situation.
- 9:44Speaker 4: I mean, it's gotta be tough to get like time
- 9:47Speaker 4: to go to the gym.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so I played with I'll play with the guy
- 9:51Speaker 2: that played at the University of Maryland.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:53Speaker 2: And just because of the details of the story, I'm
- 9:55Speaker 2: not gonna say the name.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Of the coach. You can figure it out, though.
- 10:00Speaker 2: He said, at a certain time every day, the coach
- 10:03Speaker 2: would come into the locker room players locker room, and
- 10:05Speaker 2: you know, there's there's certain things that human bodies have
- 10:08Speaker 2: to do to function and maintain proper. So you have
- 10:11Speaker 2: to go the go to the restroom, and afterwards he
- 10:16Speaker 2: would walk straight into the shower.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Oh no, this is what I don't know.
- 10:25Speaker 3: You don't even know to dry off.
- 10:30Speaker 2: You know, how you take the towel like you've seen
- 10:32Speaker 2: people do like movies or something. Fraternity kind of throat
- 10:36Speaker 2: between the legs from the back of the rabbit in
- 10:39Speaker 2: front of back cloths.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Oh, that's bad.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah, people, why would he just do it when
- 10:44Speaker 4: they weren't in the locker room.
- 10:45Speaker 3: I think a lot of them weren't. Was just kidding,
- 10:47Speaker 3: stched working not anymore. You're not ever in here, coach.
- 10:52Speaker 4: That's because of you, right.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Flossom, the last one in the slot before the dance.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Was popular too. I did not love that story. Why.
- 11:02Speaker 4: A lot of reasons. The visual that I can't seem
- 11:04Speaker 4: to have escaped my mind.
- 11:05Speaker 3: For one, Sure, you're welcome. That was good. You would
- 11:10Speaker 3: rather the cupcake?
- 11:11Speaker 4: Yeah, the cupcake was less.
- 11:12Speaker 3: It would be cool if there was a real cupcake
- 11:14Speaker 3: being slash.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm a I'm a pro uh non gooch talker
- 11:20Speaker 4: at seven eleven.
- 11:22Speaker 5: I think we all are.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure.
- 11:24Speaker 5: I got a te.
- 11:27Speaker 6: So somebody said Jake when he gets back from his
- 11:29Speaker 6: training camp tour, and it's the gift of Childish Gambino
- 11:32Speaker 6: on community walking in.
- 11:33Speaker 5: With the pizzas.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Childish Gambino, Stone Mountain, Georgia.
- 11:40Speaker 5: Wait, what's his real name?
- 11:41Speaker 4: Donald Glove, Donald Glover, Rockford, g Elementary His Okay?
- 11:44Speaker 6: So before I knew about like his rap stuff, I
- 11:47Speaker 6: watched his stand up comedy from a long time ago.
- 11:50Speaker 5: I thought it was so funny.
- 11:51Speaker 3: He's really good, really.
- 11:52Speaker 6: Yeah, and then he came out as a yeah, and
- 11:54Speaker 6: then he came out like as a rapper.
- 11:56Speaker 3: There.
- 11:57Speaker 4: He came out that he's probably one of the top
- 12:00Speaker 4: two comedians to ever come out of Sun Mountain, Georgia.
- 12:03Speaker 6: But he only he ain't too he's great.
- 12:09Speaker 3: He went to n YU like he's very and.
- 12:12Speaker 6: Then he had a show called Atlanta. Did you ever
- 12:15Speaker 6: watch that? It was really good too.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Yeah. I watched like the first season, I think.
- 12:18Speaker 6: And then whenever his early music was coming out, I
- 12:21Speaker 6: would listen to it.
- 12:22Speaker 5: But then he never did another stand up after that.
- 12:24Speaker 4: No, he kind of went off his first album, Freaks
- 12:28Speaker 4: and Geeks. That song is one of my favorite songs
- 12:29Speaker 4: of all time.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like the lyrics like that campfire songs.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Campfire's good bonfire, I mean bonfire. Yeah.
- 12:36Speaker 4: And he also has a song called camp So which
- 12:38Speaker 4: is also okay. Yeah, I think like two days I'm
- 12:41Speaker 4: big Childish can be no fan.
- 12:43Speaker 2: He's that many songs that you just like recall off
- 12:47Speaker 2: the top of your live.
- 12:48Speaker 4: I met him, it was like hey, Donald, He's like,
- 12:51Speaker 4: why are you here?
- 12:52Speaker 5: He was like, it's Childish.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Yeah pretty much. Yeah, I got a great picture of us.
- 12:55Speaker 4: I could not. He's like, and I'm like, it's really
- 12:59Speaker 4: it's my Facebook.
- 13:00Speaker 5: I feel like that's our friendship.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure.
- 13:03Speaker 2: For those of y'all just listening on radio, Childish did
- 13:06Speaker 2: not look very excited. Chris Marl looked very excited.
- 13:09Speaker 4: It looks a lot cooler than I did in that picture.
- 13:12Speaker 3: So Stone Mountain, Georgia. H yeah, we stayed there.
- 13:15Speaker 2: We stayed on top of Stone Mountain in the second
- 13:18Speaker 2: round of the playoffs.
- 13:19Speaker 3: See, we made a Super Bowl run at a hotel,
- 13:21Speaker 3: stay on top of them. You stayed at the Evergreen whatever.
- 13:24Speaker 3: The hotel is mountain, at the top of the mountain.
- 13:26Speaker 3: It's on top of the mountain. Oh yeah, it's a
- 13:27Speaker 3: big mountain.
- 13:28Speaker 4: That's when my mom got married.
- 13:29Speaker 3: The Evergreen Hotel, that's where we stayed. That's crazy. I
- 13:31Speaker 3: guess I don't remember the name. Yeah, that's the only one.
- 13:34Speaker 2: So that's where we sayed the night before the game.
- 13:36Speaker 2: We really we were the sixth seed. They were the
- 13:37Speaker 2: one seed. The Falcons said, wait is this twenty twelve,
- 13:40Speaker 2: twenty this season of twenty ten?
- 13:43Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that was tough. Why that we beat the break.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Yeah, you'll kill them. We read about like thirty in
- 13:48Speaker 4: this That has awful. I mean, were you still there
- 13:51Speaker 4: in twenty You weren't there in twenty.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Sixteen though, No, Okay I was.
- 13:56Speaker 8: No.
- 13:57Speaker 3: It's my first year not playing. Really, it's been a minute.
- 14:01Speaker 3: It has been a minute, like physically it's been ten years,
- 14:04Speaker 3: but like spiritually I'm still in it.
- 14:08Speaker 2: I'm still playing. I wasn't until last summer when I
- 14:11Speaker 2: announced my retirement live off the bench. It was a
- 14:17Speaker 2: big speech and everything. I mean, there wasn't there wasn't
- 14:19Speaker 2: a dry eye out there, Louisiana.
- 14:22Speaker 4: I do love when you do the the obituary things
- 14:25Speaker 4: like they're so good.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Well, they're from the heart, that's why. Yeah, that's why
- 14:30Speaker 2: they're that's why they come across. So like, if you're
- 14:32Speaker 2: not fake, they're from all write them really weeks. I
- 14:40Speaker 2: got one written for every kid, everybody. Oh yeah, I
- 14:44Speaker 2: got I got one just titled water.
- 14:49Speaker 4: We poked a whole leaked on out mm hmmmmm.
- 14:54Speaker 3: All right.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Uh so I'm just gonna say, like, well, I'm just
- 14:59Speaker 2: I I don't know this for a fact, but we
- 15:02Speaker 2: got a great show for you.
- 15:03Speaker 3: This we do. We actually have some planned. We we
- 15:05Speaker 3: do have stuff plan, you know, and that's what was
- 15:09Speaker 3: up early, Like there.
- 15:11Speaker 5: What they're my ideas?
- 15:12Speaker 3: Yeah, we're doing the SEC team.
- 15:15Speaker 6: I thought we were just like, oh, we got so
- 15:17Speaker 6: many plans.
- 15:18Speaker 4: We're going to overperform, underperformed faucauci.
- 15:23Speaker 2: We got for sure of function research Saints, Saints getting
- 15:27Speaker 2: built a big blow in the first day of training camp.
- 15:30Speaker 5: Hey but Jordan Tyson cleared, yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Play and play and he looked like you had like
- 15:36Speaker 3: full blown socks onto did it? It looked like it.
- 15:39Speaker 2: You can tell there was like leg sleeves and things happening.
- 15:42Speaker 2: But we have to assume there were socks under those shoes.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Big deal. And we also Saint say goodbye to a legend.
- 15:49Speaker 3: So well, yeah, we are going to get to all
- 15:52Speaker 3: of that.
- 15:53Speaker 5: Yesterday. It happened yesterday.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you had anyone. You were out of the

- 16:47Speaker 3: They are the experts.
- 16:48Speaker 2: And there's nothing too big, there is nothing too small,
- 16:50Speaker 2: there is nothing too crazy that they have not seen
- 16:53Speaker 2: in the plumbing game. So we're talking of waterlines and
- 16:55Speaker 2: gas lines that I can tell you from experience. I
- 16:59Speaker 2: have used them for everything at the house or just
- 17:02Speaker 2: like a regular running commode, or maybe they had to
- 17:04Speaker 2: fix a leak, whatever it is. But at my commercially,
- 17:08Speaker 2: for my business, they turned a old dusty warehouse into
- 17:11Speaker 2: a full blown food and beverage facility. So uh, they
- 17:16Speaker 2: literally can do it all and also have the peace
- 17:18Speaker 2: of mind when you work with Central Plumbing that they
- 17:19Speaker 2: have twenty four to seven emergency service and baton rouge
- 17:22Speaker 2: and laugh. Yes, so go to the website, check out

- 17:56Speaker 1: The Green Tigers turn talkers. This is off the bench.
- 18:02Speaker 1: You shoes in that as.
- 18:16Speaker 9: A Swiss army knife isn't built for just one job.
- 18:21Speaker 9: It adapts, it endures.
- 18:26Speaker 3: That's Taysom Hill, Tayso Hill.
- 18:29Speaker 10: Taysom Hill takes it in for the touchdown receiver that
- 18:33Speaker 10: bout buck taste.
- 18:34Speaker 3: The hell under the dog, pop down running.
- 18:36Speaker 10: Beout tayst some bloody fifteen.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Say you laying about quarterbacks.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Tayso looking to the foreside, deplete the true special team.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Show that's blocked.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Let's block. Taysom Hill gets.
- 18:47Speaker 10: A hand on it, takes some keeps us some still
- 18:50Speaker 10: on his feet. Tasso Hill takes it in for the
- 18:53Speaker 10: touchdown right side. Tays some still on his feet, say
- 18:56Speaker 10: you're laying them back.
- 18:58Speaker 3: When we needed more. He gave us everything.
- 19:01Speaker 9: Thanks everything you got, because that's what it means to
- 19:05Speaker 9: be a saint in New Orleans. We adapt, We endure,
- 19:11Speaker 9: no shortcuts, no excuses, all heart and soul.
- 19:15Speaker 8: This organization, the city has been so good to me.
- 19:19Speaker 8: What makes it special is the bonds that you have
- 19:21Speaker 8: in here. Forever a Saint, I owe so many thanks
- 19:25Speaker 8: to so many people.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Forever a legend.
- 19:28Speaker 8: I have so much love for the city of New
- 19:30Speaker 8: Orleans and this fan base.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Thank you, Taysom. That is a much better graphic than
- 19:41Speaker 3: I made.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so, getting the news yesterday Taysom Hill making his
- 19:48Speaker 2: announcement on social media that of course is time and
- 19:51Speaker 2: New Orleans is over. Not so sure about his future
- 19:55Speaker 2: playing football, but certainly it is time in New Orleans
- 19:59Speaker 2: is so.
- 20:00Speaker 3: It is definitely and rightfully so.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Given gratitude making a statement or posting a statement on
- 20:09Speaker 2: social media and the Saints releasing this video, a big
- 20:12Speaker 2: thank you to Taste him from the Saints organization and
- 20:15Speaker 2: certainly the Saints fan base. From a guy that was
- 20:21Speaker 2: kind of changed the way offenses can think in the NFL,
- 20:26Speaker 2: A completely under talked about guy in the NFL around
- 20:32Speaker 2: the country, not here in Louisiana, of course, but a
- 20:35Speaker 2: guy that was not talked about, A guy that was
- 20:37Speaker 2: picked up off waivers from the Green Bay Packers.
- 20:40Speaker 8: I know that.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought he was Draft twenty seventeen. I believe
- 20:45Speaker 2: a guy that's gonna likely, you know, go be remembered,
- 20:48Speaker 2: certainly in Saints law forever, but in the NFL as
- 20:52Speaker 2: you know, one of the most unique players in the
- 20:54Speaker 2: NFL ever NFL history, and his impact for the Saints
- 21:00Speaker 2: certainly went kind of far beyond statistics are going to show.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Even though the statistics are awesome, he changed how really
- 21:08Speaker 2: coaches thought about the like position versatility on offense, uh
- 21:12Speaker 2: Sean Payton calling him a Swiss Army knife, true defenses,
- 21:17Speaker 2: like a defensive coordinators nightmare like that. They had to
- 21:20Speaker 2: prepare special Taysom packages on defense to prepare for him,
- 21:24Speaker 2: and it's a it's a pain in the rear as
- 21:27Speaker 2: a defensive coach when you have to do something on
- 21:29Speaker 2: just one week's notice that is different like that, like
- 21:32Speaker 2: you see it in college football, and the teams, like
- 21:34Speaker 2: big time teams don't want to play a small school
- 21:36Speaker 2: that runs a triple option because like from a just
- 21:39Speaker 2: a technical standpoint, from an assignment standpoint, it is tough.
- 21:42Speaker 2: And that's what Taysoon brought to the table each and
- 21:44Speaker 2: every week to these defensive coordinators.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Also the only only NFL player in the history well
- 21:52Speaker 4: Super Bowl era, which I believe is what like sixty six, Yeah,
- 21:56Speaker 4: sim to have over one thousand yards passing, rushing, and
- 22:01Speaker 4: receiving in a career only one yep, that's.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yeah, there's one. You can google that question in and
- 22:08Speaker 2: one name pops out and that is that's Taysom Hill.
- 22:11Speaker 2: So he uh, he meant a lot to the Saints organization.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Helped lead the Saints to four straight NFC South Division
- 22:22Speaker 2: Division titles.
- 22:23Speaker 3: So I was kind of looking it up.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I was like, man, I know he did all these things,
- 22:27Speaker 2: and I know, but like, what what was actually like
- 22:29Speaker 2: the numbers right I had? I was, I was looking
- 22:32Speaker 2: at it Passing. I think he started four games for
- 22:35Speaker 2: the Saints at quarterback, which is which is crazy. At passing,
- 22:39Speaker 2: He's got twenty four hundred and twenty six yards passing,
- 22:41Speaker 2: twelve touchdowns, rushing at twenty five hundred and fifty one
- 22:45Speaker 2: yards total, russian thirty four touchdowns, five point two yards
- 22:49Speaker 2: per carry, receiving at over one thousand, thousand and thirty
- 22:51Speaker 2: four yards and eleven touchdowns, receiving at almost five hundred yards,
- 22:55Speaker 2: and kickoff returns, and I think he ended up having
- 22:58Speaker 2: like something like round thirty five or forty tackles like
- 23:01Speaker 2: he was a special team or daddy just all over
- 23:05Speaker 2: the place.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Meant a lot. And I believe, what was it nine?
- 23:09Speaker 3: I think it's nine years. I believe nine years with
- 23:12Speaker 3: the Saints.
- 23:12Speaker 5: That's right.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Yeah, if I got it. If I'm off by yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 3: if I'm off by a year.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Also, I mean, to be able to elongate your career
- 23:20Speaker 4: at that position, because primarily are a running back, right,
- 23:23Speaker 4: but to be able to figure out a way to
- 23:24Speaker 4: elongate your career at that position in that league, that
- 23:28Speaker 4: is pretty remarkable.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it is.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And what he did for a long long time was
- 23:34Speaker 2: was pretty remarkable. So I was looking up. So I
- 23:36Speaker 2: was kind of looking up. Man, what was this big
- 23:38Speaker 2: highlight moment. Let's see against Seattle in twenty twenty two,
- 23:42Speaker 2: one hundred and twelve rushing yards, three Russian touchdowns, a
- 23:46Speaker 2: passing touchdown, and he also received like he had some
- 23:50Speaker 2: hit some receiving yards as well. Let's see in twenty
- 23:54Speaker 2: twenty four against Cleveland one hundred and thirty eight rushing yards,
- 23:57Speaker 2: eight receptions, two hundred and six total scrimmage yards and
- 24:01Speaker 2: three touchdowns stupid.
- 24:04Speaker 4: I mean he was like Darren mcfedn. I hate to
- 24:05Speaker 4: bring that up, right, but like that's that's it was.
- 24:10Speaker 4: You didn't see a lot of that, like like after
- 24:11Speaker 4: a while in the NFL, like like the wildcat or
- 24:13Speaker 4: that type of offense that you're you have a non
- 24:16Speaker 4: quarterback running. But to have four star ticles, I know, right,
- 24:20Speaker 4: that's stupid.
- 24:21Speaker 2: That game I was just talking about in Cleveland. He
- 24:23Speaker 2: became on that game just a second player in the
- 24:25Speaker 2: Super Bowl Ara to post a game with at least
- 24:27Speaker 2: eight catches, one hundred and thirty rushing.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Yards and three touchdowns in a game.
- 24:31Speaker 2: So he had these games where it was like a
- 24:33Speaker 2: fantasy like you would if you had him on the
- 24:35Speaker 2: fantasy team, you look like a genius. Yeah, But he
- 24:38Speaker 2: was one of those utility guys that, like a fantasy
- 24:40Speaker 2: pick was really good because you never know he'd have
- 24:42Speaker 2: the passing yards, of rushing yards, receiving yards and everything.
- 24:44Speaker 2: But certainly a Saints legend, a guy that would be
- 24:47Speaker 2: I mean Saints Hall of Fame guy. But I don't
- 24:51Speaker 2: know how like from coast to coast if he is
- 24:54Speaker 2: thought of in that aspect, but certainly a guy that
- 24:57Speaker 2: will go down to Saint's history and we'll be missed
- 24:59Speaker 2: by the Saints organization, but certainly by the Saints fan base.
- 25:04Speaker 2: So I was I was going scrolling through the socials
- 25:06Speaker 2: and nothing but glowing posts and thankfulness from Saints fans.
- 25:13Speaker 2: So I think that was a clean end of a career,
- 25:16Speaker 2: at least with the career of the Saints. We don't
- 25:18Speaker 2: know what the future is gonna hold for Taysom, but
- 25:20Speaker 2: we wish him well. He's been a great ambassador for
- 25:23Speaker 2: the Saints, for New Orleans and for Louisiana.
- 25:27Speaker 4: So also, can we just say, like it's non football related,
- 25:30Speaker 4: but like he was, he went to b YU, Right,
- 25:33Speaker 4: that's a crazy transition to go from b YU to
- 25:36Speaker 4: New Orleans and then love it that much, like genuinely
- 25:39Speaker 4: love it. I'm not sure to be funny, like to
- 25:41Speaker 4: love it that much. That's that's pretty awesome. Yeah, I
- 25:43Speaker 4: mean I think of two more different people. It can
- 25:45Speaker 4: be a culture shock for anywhere else in the country.
- 25:48Speaker 4: But you know, like I think we all get it,
- 25:50Speaker 4: like what you're talking about, Uh, specifically for that huge
- 25:53Speaker 4: culture show that's crazy. Uh look you're you're you're the
- 25:57Speaker 4: only one that grew up here and Louisiana in this
- 26:01Speaker 4: room right now.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Oh really.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Watching Taysom play and let's see you were probably were
- 26:08Speaker 2: you in high school when he started in twenty seventeen?
- 26:10Speaker 3: Are you still in high school? Yeah? That was my
- 26:12Speaker 3: sophomore year of high school.
- 26:13Speaker 4: What so?
- 26:14Speaker 3: Oh god, Yeah, what's your thoughts on mister taysum Man?
- 26:19Speaker 11: He was so fun to watch, Like I know, we
- 26:21Speaker 11: all try to mimic what he was doing on the field.
- 26:25Speaker 11: Just an athlete, like someone who grew up playing sports
- 26:28Speaker 11: and just like admiring, like an athlete who could who
- 26:31Speaker 11: could run, catch, brow return all that.
- 26:35Speaker 3: I mean, Yeah, he's gonna be miss man, good arm,
- 26:39Speaker 3: good guns too.
- 26:39Speaker 4: It's gonna take me a minute to get over the
- 26:41Speaker 4: fact that he definition twenty seventeen. That's insane.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Same brother saying Landra, Yes, mister Taysom.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Yeah, so he was so you would always see him
- 26:57Speaker 2: in these packages like Sean Payton is like a master
- 26:59Speaker 2: of creating packages for him.
- 27:01Speaker 3: But I think one of the things that Saints.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Fans loved the most was it was just as big
- 27:05Speaker 2: did as you gain the ball, he would go look
- 27:08Speaker 2: for contact.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Yeah, what was your favorite part of this game.
- 27:13Speaker 6: Okay, So I think just generally speaking about Taysom Hill,
- 27:17Speaker 6: he's I think you said it, like extremely under talked about,
- 27:20Speaker 6: like over a thousand yards in each category and people
- 27:24Speaker 6: aren't like the only one. Yeah since the Super Bowl
- 27:28Speaker 6: era or since like nineteen sixty six or whatever.
- 27:31Speaker 5: We don't know what happened before that.
- 27:32Speaker 6: But I like just that part of it where he's
- 27:37Speaker 6: so good but quietly good, you know, and he's just
- 27:40Speaker 6: been so solid for the Saints, and I feel kind
- 27:42Speaker 6: of bad that he.
- 27:42Speaker 5: Was good, like a little wasted here, you know a
- 27:45Speaker 5: little bit.
- 27:46Speaker 6: But like that being said, he's still such a legend
- 27:49Speaker 6: for the Saints. Like I think he'll probably be in
- 27:52Speaker 6: the Saints Hall of Fame for sure. Point yeah, not
- 27:54Speaker 6: the NFL.
- 27:55Speaker 4: One thing about that last year about like would he
- 27:58Speaker 4: be in the NFL Hall of Fame?
- 27:59Speaker 3: And I think his his final thing was that he
- 28:03Speaker 3: that he would not be for I forgot.
- 28:05Speaker 4: I mean, it made it all made sense, but it
- 28:07Speaker 4: was one of those things too where it's like then
- 28:09Speaker 4: you start looking at the numbers and it's like, what
- 28:11Speaker 4: like in comparison to I want to say, it's like
- 28:13Speaker 4: Don Hudson, the worst Heisman winner of all time, oh
- 28:19Speaker 4: a thousand percent.
- 28:20Speaker 3: And Green Bay we practiced in the Don Hudson Center. Cool.
- 28:24Speaker 4: He played for a two and eight Notre Dame team
- 28:25Speaker 4: and one over Jim.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Brown, So you know, weird amount of Don Hudson.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Yeah for real.
- 28:31Speaker 6: But it's like, my favorite part about Taysom Hill for
- 28:33Speaker 6: the SA is exactly what you said, like total meatheads,
- 28:36Speaker 6: total meat daddy.
- 28:38Speaker 5: Such a nice guy too.
- 28:40Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, but I saw her about the when I
- 28:42Speaker 6: went to the UFC fight last year. He was there
- 28:45Speaker 6: with his wife, Like they're such good vibes. So I
- 28:49Speaker 6: think it's the same thing with Drew Brees where they
- 28:51Speaker 6: were just so solid for the Saints, but also in
- 28:53Speaker 6: the community as well.
- 28:55Speaker 2: So when you see his play style, like and you
- 28:58Speaker 2: didn't if you've never heard him yeah or see him
- 29:01Speaker 2: off the field, you think that he would talk like
- 29:04Speaker 2: you know that not real money. He gives that, like
- 29:09Speaker 2: his play style gives that vibe. But then he's like, oh,
- 29:12Speaker 2: this dude's got a great head on his shoulders. He
- 29:15Speaker 2: does things the right way. He's in the community like
- 29:17Speaker 2: doing all the right things, and so that's what makes
- 29:19Speaker 2: it like you combine those two things, especially in a
- 29:22Speaker 2: city like New Orleans, in a state like Louisiana, you
- 29:25Speaker 2: were going to be remembered forever.
- 29:27Speaker 3: So cheers. Yeah, mister Taysom Hill, amazing.
- 29:31Speaker 5: Career, unique players in the NFL.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Yep, and you will be missed.
- 29:35Speaker 2: You will be loved forever by Saints fans and uh
- 29:39Speaker 2: we appreciate your service and much respect to you. All Right,

- 31:45Speaker 2: what are we What are we feeling today?
- 31:47Speaker 3: In music? We're just going back.
- 31:49Speaker 6: So I was thinking thinking about this for a couple
- 31:52Speaker 6: of days, because you know, Tuesday, Wednesday, we.
- 31:54Speaker 5: Got those days like already. Don't make fun of me.
- 31:59Speaker 3: I'm not stop I would never.
- 32:02Speaker 5: I'm not saying anything. What okay, No, he's mocking me
- 32:07Speaker 5: of her hand moses.
- 32:08Speaker 6: Anyways, So I've been thinking about this one two thousands,
- 32:13Speaker 6: like typical chick flick movie.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Maybe you know, so we started with yeah, now we
- 32:23Speaker 4: got this a little late nineties Yeah there as well.
- 32:26Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, like a little late nineties early two thousands,
- 32:29Speaker 6: typical movie like Calming of Age.
- 32:32Speaker 4: Yeah, Calming of Ages of that's really good.
- 32:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I love a coming out of age movie.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yeah, like a rom com a little bit.
- 32:40Speaker 2: So that's brilliant that for the kiss me song you
- 32:44Speaker 2: didn't sing, we didn't get to like stretch it out
- 32:46Speaker 2: because we played the video.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Video videos AUO. Yeah, video is really good. It got like,
- 32:51Speaker 3: I don't know about y'all, but it got me ready
- 32:52Speaker 3: for football. I don't care. I'm so ready.
- 32:55Speaker 2: But every time I see like a really good emotional
- 32:59Speaker 2: hype up thing, it gets you even more.
- 33:02Speaker 5: I can't wait for the LSU want to come out.
- 33:04Speaker 5: You know, they always have a good one.
- 33:06Speaker 3: It's gonna be so dope, I just know it.
- 33:08Speaker 5: Do you think it's gonna narrate the first one?
- 33:12Speaker 3: H don't know. I'd like to nominate Marlar.
- 33:16Speaker 5: I wouldn't.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Did you hear the band play neck? That's not it
- 33:26Speaker 3: at all?
- 33:27Speaker 5: And y'all wore y'all were like adamant, but no one swore.
- 33:30Speaker 4: I posted it, didn't think it. I didn't think about
- 33:32Speaker 4: it for another minute and then and then I came
- 33:34Speaker 4: in here.
- 33:34Speaker 6: On Monday, and for those who don't know, Marler posted
- 33:37Speaker 6: a video last season of the band doing swagsurfing. But
- 33:41Speaker 6: of course you know how, but you know how the
- 33:43Speaker 6: fan base like now with every song that they do,
- 33:45Speaker 6: they do the next chant, right, So they did the chant,
- 33:48Speaker 6: but the band was not playing neck.
- 33:50Speaker 5: The band was playing swagsurfing.
- 33:52Speaker 6: And Chris posted the video and people were like, that's
- 33:56Speaker 6: not neget they were right. So then I sent it
- 34:02Speaker 6: to him and I was like, this is swagsurfing, and
- 34:04Speaker 6: him and Rivers swore up and down that it was neck,
- 34:08Speaker 6: and I was like, I think I know what neck
- 34:09Speaker 6: and swagsurfing look like or sound like.
- 34:12Speaker 4: Fair. If Rivers was backing me, there's no reason I
- 34:15Speaker 4: would have thought I was wrong, because.
- 34:17Speaker 5: She's I was telling you that you were wrong. And
- 34:19Speaker 5: I went to L s U and I am an
- 34:21Speaker 5: L s U fan, So I think I know what
- 34:23Speaker 5: neck and swag surfing sound like.
- 34:25Speaker 4: Rivers is usually very right, though.
- 34:28Speaker 5: Name of time I've been wrong, I'm not going to
- 34:30Speaker 5: do that on air.
- 34:30Speaker 3: It's too long. I've never been wrong either. It was
- 34:34Speaker 3: always right, always.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Wasn't that The Florida game, it was my first time
- 34:41Speaker 4: think was my first game in the in the press
- 34:43Speaker 4: box at Death Ally, and I was just like cloud nine,
- 34:45Speaker 4: this is so much fun, so cool.
- 34:47Speaker 5: It was easily Shawn Spears have like a pick six that.
- 34:50Speaker 4: Yeah, they had five interceptions. Yeah, but I remember sitting
- 34:53Speaker 4: there and I was like, like, I've been I've been
- 34:55Speaker 4: to Death Valley before. I've been in Tiger Stadium like
- 34:57Speaker 4: a couple of times before that. It was like it
- 34:59Speaker 4: was like the a huge game. Everyone's into. It's Florida.
- 35:02Speaker 4: There's a fight before they like the on the field
- 35:04Speaker 4: before him. Yeah, I'm just like, man, this is so
- 35:06Speaker 4: much I just I love college football more than anything
- 35:08Speaker 4: besides Ali, I guess and Pepper I guess, like it
- 35:14Speaker 4: was so it was so great and then so she
- 35:16Speaker 4: like she sends it to me and I was like, oh,
- 35:17Speaker 4: there's like six hundred thousand views on this.
- 35:21Speaker 3: That's not good.
- 35:22Speaker 6: And it was all people viewing it being like, that's
- 35:24Speaker 6: not neck, that's but I didn't do it on the internet.
- 35:28Speaker 4: I didn't blast you everyone else.
- 35:29Speaker 5: I texted you and I said, hey, you might are
- 35:32Speaker 5: you saying?
- 35:32Speaker 2: The people on the internet weren't like, oh, that is
- 35:35Speaker 2: actually not the right song, the correct song, But everybody makes.
- 35:38Speaker 5: Mistakes, believe it or not, believe it or not. People
- 35:41Speaker 5: on the internet were angry.
- 35:43Speaker 4: The video we posted last week.
- 35:47Speaker 5: Crazy is one of the I'm not I explain the video.
- 35:51Speaker 4: I love being here, Luke, pull it up. No, I
- 35:54Speaker 4: love being here in Louisiana so much, like like I
- 35:58Speaker 4: genuinely we love it here so much. I was blown
- 36:02Speaker 4: away at how badly the people in the comments understood sarcasm,
- 36:08Speaker 4: and it even said in the caption this is sarcastic.
- 36:11Speaker 3: It was talking about Piper.
- 36:13Speaker 5: Her rapport about him using the private jet right and
- 36:16Speaker 5: it was like.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Making a joke.
- 36:18Speaker 4: But I also heard he's not paying for his shirts.
- 36:22Speaker 4: He got him for free from Nike.
- 36:24Speaker 5: And then people in the comments were like, yeah, it's
- 36:26Speaker 5: part of his job.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Read his contract. That was my favorite.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Every other person on Facebook and was like, read his contract, moron,
- 36:33Speaker 4: And I was like, Darryl I know for a fact
- 36:35Speaker 4: you've not read his contract. There's no chance Larry sit down.
- 36:39Speaker 8: It was.
- 36:40Speaker 4: It was shocking to me, how how bad? And then
- 36:42Speaker 4: and then of course, like even a logic sit up
- 36:44Speaker 4: for me on that one. That was I mean like
- 36:46Speaker 4: it was brutal, even a laundr well, I mean, like
- 36:50Speaker 4: U suid, we just sit back fron like, yeah, the
- 36:51Speaker 4: internet's mean, get over it.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that was.
- 36:53Speaker 4: It was crazy, this clown. It's like, what, dude, Well.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Of all the people, you got the thickest skin.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Yeah, that's for sure. Everyone knows that. I never bring
- 37:05Speaker 4: it up. Oozing is not my favorite.
- 37:06Speaker 3: I don't like. Yeah, that's worse. That's that's way worse. Yeah,
- 37:12Speaker 3: that's awful. So a couple of weeks ago, I went
- 37:15Speaker 3: out in my backyard and we have this swing that's
- 37:18Speaker 3: got like it's a two rope swing and it's like
- 37:21Speaker 3: it's a circle one that's got like the netting around
- 37:24Speaker 3: it so you can like lay on it.
- 37:26Speaker 11: Uh.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Well, my youngest himmy, she was what her name Ishimmy anyway,
- 37:32Speaker 3: Oh that's cool. It's a great name, thank you. She's Amy.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I go out there and she's standing on it with
- 37:39Speaker 2: her hands on the reds like going back and forth. Yeah,
- 37:41Speaker 2: and she's saying, man, I got that swag. She's like
- 37:46Speaker 2: a swagon.
- 37:49Speaker 3: She's six. She loves a swag, sir. That's so yeah,
- 37:55Speaker 3: she knew that. She knew you were wrong. I mean
- 37:58Speaker 3: I was wrong. Swags yet Swags the party swag service.
- 38:06Speaker 4: But y'all should we are I think, I mean, it's
- 38:08Speaker 4: not gonna go.
- 38:08Speaker 5: I should I get the band from LSU to come
- 38:10Speaker 5: to your wedding and play that.
- 38:11Speaker 4: I would love to have some sort of like like
- 38:16Speaker 4: some sort of fine bombs that he would go.
- 38:18Speaker 3: He's like, I could make it. And I was like, Paul,
- 38:20Speaker 3: you're not coming.
- 38:21Speaker 5: I'm gonna do so much networking.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:24Speaker 3: He's very grun Yeah he is.
- 38:26Speaker 4: He was like, when's the wedding And I told him.
- 38:27Speaker 4: He's like I could make that. And I was like, yeah,
- 38:29Speaker 4: you're giving me away and he was like, yeah, I could.
- 38:31Speaker 3: I could make that.
- 38:32Speaker 4: Just something about this was the craziest part of of
- 38:35Speaker 4: last week was and I told I was telling you this.
- 38:38Speaker 4: We did that graphic last year about I guess this
- 38:40Speaker 4: is gonna be a social media segment where it was like, hey,
- 38:44Speaker 4: here's the top ten most famous non athletes to graduate
- 38:47Speaker 4: or go to every school in the SEC, or like
- 38:50Speaker 4: the school's then STC like Jimmy Buffett was at Auburn
- 38:52Speaker 4: for one semester, Bernie Madoff was at Alabama for one year.
- 38:56Speaker 4: There's like all these different ones, right. So I put
- 38:59Speaker 4: Paul Finebauma on it. It did really well, and he
- 39:02Speaker 4: was telling me last year how much he loved the
- 39:04Speaker 4: graphic and his wife loved it, and I just was like, okay, cool, whatever.
- 39:08Speaker 4: And then this year he set me down and he goes, hey,
- 39:10Speaker 4: you know.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Remember that graphic you made? And I was like, yeah,
- 39:13Speaker 3: are we doing this again?
- 39:14Speaker 4: And he goes, he goes, my wife loved that graphic.
- 39:17Speaker 3: I can tell you this.
- 39:17Speaker 4: And I was like, I think so, and he goes,
- 39:19Speaker 4: She printed it off and she hung it in our
- 39:21Speaker 4: office at the house. So Paul Finebumb just has a
- 39:24Speaker 4: little graphic we made with the ESPN like one O
- 39:27Speaker 4: four five Louisiana Sports setting that logo on it in
- 39:30Speaker 4: his office.
- 39:31Speaker 3: That's famous. No, I mean the site is and the
- 39:33Speaker 3: and the station. Yeah, I know it's great. Well you
- 39:36Speaker 3: did it, you please, Paul Fine bumb I don't love
- 39:39Speaker 3: that phrasing.
- 39:41Speaker 5: Okay, you please both of them.
- 39:44Speaker 4: Honestly, I watched it was just we're I just want
- 39:47Speaker 4: to see the happiness.
- 39:47Speaker 3: On their face.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Okay, go all right in the chair. All Right, we're
- 39:52Speaker 2: gonna get a break. We are gonna come back. Okay,
- 39:55Speaker 2: all right, we're gonna come back. We are going to
- 39:56Speaker 2: close out hour number one right here, off the bench.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Tof the bench.
- 40:01Speaker 3: All right, Go to Russell Pools Russell Pools dot com.

- 40:06Speaker 2: excited about our sponsors.

- 40:55Speaker 2: that pool to take that and just renovate. You take
- 40:57Speaker 2: an old pool, change the shape, change the design, make
- 41:00Speaker 2: it modern. Right over there, Russell Pools dot.

- 42:31Speaker 3: patch on their practice jersey.
- 42:33Speaker 2: So great stuff there and they are partnering it up
- 42:37Speaker 2: with all the Louisiana companies, all the Louisiana sports teams
- 42:40Speaker 2: because they are Louisiana right there over Rowse's Markets. All right,
- 42:45Speaker 2: I do want to discuss something, bring something up like
- 42:49Speaker 2: this is a we we have fun on the show
- 42:51Speaker 2: and we don't like to like address you know, too
- 42:53Speaker 2: many serious topics. But something that was in the news
- 42:57Speaker 2: that is near and dear to my heart, some really
- 43:02Speaker 2: tough news that we're I think a lot of us
- 43:04Speaker 2: and everybody has seen that has coming over to the
- 43:06Speaker 2: social media, is about Demetrius Bird over the last couple
- 43:09Speaker 2: of days in trouble. Did some did some did some
- 43:14Speaker 2: things that got them in legal trouble. And this is
- 43:17Speaker 2: I'm not bringing this up to certainly condone or anything.
- 43:20Speaker 2: My heart goes out to the everybody involved in the situation,
- 43:23Speaker 2: everybody that was either physically or mentally whatever affected by
- 43:28Speaker 2: the situation. But certainly Demetrious Bird holds a special place
- 43:33Speaker 2: in my heart and him and I will be linked
- 43:37Speaker 2: together and tied together forever and in L s U
- 43:40Speaker 2: football history. And you know, there's a bond that in
- 43:46Speaker 2: a brotherhood that comes with playing on a team together,
- 43:49Speaker 2: especially a team that you know, every single team everybody
- 43:53Speaker 2: else places where there's a bond there, especially a team
- 43:55Speaker 2: that has a lot of success and goes through a
- 43:57Speaker 2: lot of things. And certainly that two thousand and seven
- 44:00Speaker 2: and what's crazy, I will always remember Demetrio's Bird as
- 44:05Speaker 2: somebody that brought a lot of life. He transferred in
- 44:08Speaker 2: to l ISSU, and without him transferring in, I don't
- 44:11Speaker 2: know if we win a championship. So I knew him
- 44:14Speaker 2: at the time as a great person, a great teammate.
- 44:17Speaker 2: I've seen him multiple times since then. I don't know
- 44:21Speaker 2: if people remember, but he weeks before the draft, his
- 44:24Speaker 2: draft year, he got in a really bad car accident.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Physically was injured, had suffered brain traumatic brain damage and
- 44:31Speaker 2: brain issues, had a lot of neurological So he has
- 44:34Speaker 2: suffered and dealt with a lot of things. And that
- 44:36Speaker 2: is no excuse for anything. Obviously, you can't there's no
- 44:41Speaker 2: excuse for ever doing what he has done. But my
- 44:45Speaker 2: heart and I will always love him. He is a brother,
- 44:48Speaker 2: and I just wanted to, you know, make a comment
- 44:50Speaker 2: about that. Of course, there's a he he has to
- 44:54Speaker 2: you have to pay the price. There's no there's no
- 44:55Speaker 2: excuse for anything you do and illegal, especially when you're
- 44:58Speaker 2: threatening people whatever. But I know that he has had
- 45:01Speaker 2: it tough, and he had struggles since his time and
- 45:03Speaker 2: when he had that brain injury and.
- 45:05Speaker 3: All those issues. So I love him and I hope
- 45:08Speaker 3: he gets the help and everybody gets the help they
- 45:09Speaker 3: need sicklets right off the
- 45:11Speaker 1: Bench, off the bench,
