Teen Sentenced for Murder and Arson

A 19-year-old teen, Jonah Michael Poole, received a life sentence for murdering 67-year-old business owner Edward Stephen Koza, with a mandatory restitution of $215,000 and a truck worth $15,000. Poole, who pleaded guilty in March, is headed to a youth facility, while his girlfriend, Kylee Dakes, still faces trial in December on the same charges. Both are also accused of arson and kidnapping, with Koza’s body found in the truck they allegedly drove off in. Poole also faces additional charges including hate crime and theft.
