- 0:48Speaker 2: Neil said, you didn't pay for it, did you?

- 0:55Speaker 3: of course not.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I've I make some nationally substantially less money than you do,
- 1:03Speaker 1: and I don't get that excited over gift cards.
- 1:07Speaker 2: You know what, It's a religious slash ethnic issue, Is
- 1:10Speaker 2: that right?
- 1:11Speaker 3: Yeah? It is?
- 1:11Speaker 2: Okay, it really is sorr enough sir. Okay, Now let's
- 1:16Speaker 2: talk about free food at Burger King. That got me
- 1:21Speaker 2: my excitement up. I got some wood on that one.
- 1:26Speaker 2: What I could hear down the hallway. I don't know
- 1:30Speaker 2: who it was, but I can hear down the hallway.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Someone go rows. Okay, moving on free food at Burger King,
- 1:41Speaker 2: I want to boycott.
- 1:44Speaker 3: God. Okay.
- 1:46Speaker 2: So there's a lot going on October at Burger King
- 1:52Speaker 2: and people. You know, sometimes we'll say, how can you
- 1:54Speaker 2: talk about fast food and Costco all the time? On
- 1:57Speaker 2: Handles show on Friday, I'm like, because one, that's what
- 1:59Speaker 2: hands the ones, and two it does well, Hey, Kono,
- 2:02Speaker 2: doesn't it do well?
- 2:03Speaker 3: As far as the podcast go, Cono's not even there?
- 2:08Speaker 2: Oh there, he is the best, the best, right, it
- 2:10Speaker 2: does very well Foody Friday. Right, So okay, so stop arguing. Okay,
- 2:16Speaker 2: So what's going on right now? You've got today, You've
- 2:19Speaker 2: got a free four piece chicken fries there at Burger King.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Tomorrow you're going to have a free four piece Cinni minis,
- 2:28Speaker 2: and then on the twenty six a free whopper Junior. Okay,
- 2:32Speaker 2: hang on a minute. When you say four for free fries,
- 2:36Speaker 2: is that chicken fries? Those are like chicken strips?
- 2:39Speaker 3: Oh got it? They're okay, just come in like a freeze.
- 2:42Speaker 3: So why you walk in the door you get it
- 2:43Speaker 3: for free?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Well, they always have something. In this case, it's the
- 2:48Speaker 1: loyalty rewards program. Okay, so you have to be a
- 2:51Speaker 1: part of that. Okay, big deal.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Well, you know you get only yeah, you have to
- 2:55Speaker 3: do the email. You get the email.
- 2:57Speaker 2: You ask so funny like you don't want when you
- 3:00Speaker 2: say free, you don't want to do anything except be
- 3:02Speaker 2: bill handled.
- 3:03Speaker 3: That is correct. You want to be bill handled.
- 3:05Speaker 1: And people go here, mister Bill Handle, we want to
- 3:08Speaker 1: give you something free.
- 3:10Speaker 3: And that's it.
- 3:11Speaker 2: That is absolutely correct. That happens for one person. I know,
- 3:15Speaker 2: Bill Handle, you can make that happen. It's you know
- 3:18Speaker 2: how they tell you can. You can be anybody you want.
- 3:22Speaker 2: This is America, and it doesn't matter who or what
- 3:26Speaker 2: you're doing. You pull yourselves by the bootstraps and you
- 3:30Speaker 2: can do any You can be president, and in my case,
- 3:33Speaker 2: you can get free food. It's along the same line
- 3:36Speaker 2: because of moral ethics and standards that I have. Are
- 3:39Speaker 2: those as a human being? What are those human beings?
- 3:42Speaker 2: Are people that well?
- 3:43Speaker 3: Never mind? But yeah, so for those of you who
- 3:46Speaker 3: are interested, Burger King has that for you. Going on?
- 3:49Speaker 3: Right now? Okay, let's talk.
- 3:53Speaker 2: You know, you just pointed out where we have, you know,
- 3:55Speaker 2: monitors all over the studio here and you're looking at
- 3:58Speaker 2: a commercial. We keep those on side island where they're
- 4:01Speaker 2: already starting Christmas oh, there.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Was as commercial.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I know, the twenty fourth of October completely, we haven't
- 4:06Speaker 2: even had Spooky Time.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Yeah, we're not done with Spooky Time.
- 4:10Speaker 4: I know.
- 4:11Speaker 2: So what specials specific to Halloween are going on right now?
- 4:18Speaker 2: Because the free food at Burger King is not specific
- 4:20Speaker 2: to Halloween, it's just I assume just coincidental that is
- 4:23Speaker 2: the end of the month.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Yeah, that's just that has no tie in whatsoever that
- 4:27Speaker 1: I'm aware of. This is the fact that they're giving
- 4:29Speaker 1: away some food.
- 4:31Speaker 3: So what do they do because.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I don't remember Halloween themed fast food promotion.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Well, they do have a lot of promotions going on
- 4:41Speaker 1: in fast food right now. They have some black bund Burgers,
- 4:46Speaker 1: they have a lot of there was a Wendy's partnership
- 4:53Speaker 1: with Wednesday, the television show on Netflix. There's a lot
- 4:57Speaker 1: of them going on right now. As far as a
- 5:00Speaker 1: you go to Krispy Kreme and they have the decorated
- 5:02Speaker 1: Halloween donuts that come out each year. There's a lot
- 5:05Speaker 1: of fast food tying INDs for Halloween, more than ever
- 5:09Speaker 1: before as a matter of fact, because Halloween is quickly
- 5:13Speaker 1: becoming one of the biggest holidays because you've got candy purchases.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You've got costume purchases, you've got decor purchases, food purchases.
- 5:24Speaker 1: So it's growing massively in every front And like I said,
- 5:29Speaker 1: we just spent like a hundred bucks for candy, and
- 5:32Speaker 1: I bet you we're gonna have to get more before.
- 5:34Speaker 3: You dress up for Halloween.
- 5:36Speaker 1: All sometimes I'll put something on when we're passing out
- 5:40Speaker 1: candy or something like that. But we'll have an open
- 5:43Speaker 1: house this year because it lands on a Friday, which
- 5:45Speaker 1: means family and friends can come by at anytime and
- 5:49Speaker 1: just kind of circle through and we'll have food and
- 5:52Speaker 1: I'll decorate the front yard. It'll be a haunted mansion
- 5:55Speaker 1: theme this year.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Free food. No, there's a good chance I'm gonna comeby.
- 5:59Speaker 5: You know.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I have a reverse belief system when it comes to
- 6:02Speaker 1: bill Handle. Everybody gets free food except you. So that's
- 6:06Speaker 1: all I care about.
- 6:07Speaker 3: And you dress up? You don't dress up at all? Okay? Amy?
- 6:12Speaker 3: Do you do your whole house? But I don't dress up.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Go to town, Amy, do you dress up at all?
- 6:19Speaker 2: I usually do okay for even if you're not going
- 6:22Speaker 2: to a party. Yeah, you know what, Lindsay does the
- 6:26Speaker 2: same thing. She says we'll get a dress up for Halloween.
- 6:30Speaker 2: You know when the kids open the door.
- 6:31Speaker 3: And go, what are you doing? Yeah, if you do
- 6:33Speaker 3: it for the trick or treaders, what the hell are
- 6:34Speaker 3: you doing? I mean, it's for me. It's easy.
- 6:37Speaker 2: You know, I have varicos veins, so I just put
- 6:40Speaker 2: a bathing suit and I come as a roadmap.
- 6:42Speaker 3: But that's the rest of it is.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I don't get dressing up for kids that are coming
- 6:49Speaker 2: to the door.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Why would you do that?
- 6:51Speaker 1: You guys should go as the old guy in the tramp.
- 6:56Speaker 1: That's what I know where you can get it up.
- 7:01Speaker 6: Oh good god, all right, Uh we'll.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Come back with mores. Oh yeah. Well I'm just sitting
- 7:08Speaker 3: here and just reading. All right, h some Costco news.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Yes, I put this in here because one it's Costco
- 7:15Speaker 2: and two it might be an abomination to you. So
- 7:19Speaker 2: Costco just dropped its pumpkin spice bagels.
- 7:23Speaker 3: What's your face? Well, you're looked in your face? Just dropped.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah, you know when you mentioned pumpkin spice bagels, you
- 7:32Speaker 2: can't say pumpkin spice and bagels in the same sentence.
- 7:36Speaker 2: But those are not bagels. They're not jew bagels. And
- 7:41Speaker 2: the only kind of real bagels are jew bagels, and
- 7:44Speaker 2: they're only there's really only one kind of jew bagels,
- 7:48Speaker 2: and that's the A and that's plain bagel, water bagel.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Now close to that is onion bagel and egg bagel.
- 7:56Speaker 2: After that, then let's go next tier up, which we've
- 7:59Speaker 2: just cross the line in terms of real jew bagels.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Uh.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Then you have garlic bagels, salt bagels, everything bagels. Those
- 8:09Speaker 2: are quasi their earsots bagels.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Uh.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Then we have the blueberry, the cinnamon, uh, the chocolate bagels,
- 8:20Speaker 2: chocolate chip, and pumpkin spice bagels. Pumpkin spice, I know,
- 8:25Speaker 2: come on, guys, that gonna is that gonna be the
- 8:28Speaker 2: straw that broke the coummels back for you.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I've never had. I'm not gonna go to Costco and
- 8:34Speaker 3: I would never have a pumpkin spice. Baby.
- 8:36Speaker 2: What if they offered a free sample, I actually would
- 8:40Speaker 2: say no to that. I would say they're very good.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I would say no to wait. That is a sacrilege.
- 8:47Speaker 2: People people say that if you can put a little
- 8:49Speaker 2: cream cheese on there, it makes them uh uh contender
- 8:54Speaker 2: for the best fall breakfast.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Wrong. I could have been a contender.
- 8:58Speaker 2: No, yeah, this is okay, it's just a horrible cozy. Also,
- 9:02Speaker 2: one of the scriptors out here, one of the things
- 9:05Speaker 2: about bagels at Costco is they are horrible.
- 9:09Speaker 3: I mean I don't know that I've ever purchased.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not good. I mean they're cheap, but they're
- 9:14Speaker 2: not good. You have to go to a real bagel.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Ple's I describe you exactly. Well. Okay, so you won't
- 9:20Speaker 3: be getting them. No, I will not. Okay, I don't care.
- 9:22Speaker 3: I would have gotten rid of them. Okay. I want
- 9:24Speaker 3: to tell you one last thing. This is super cool.
- 9:27Speaker 2: So if you're out there with your kids trick or
- 9:30Speaker 2: treating all of that, and you see a teal pumpkin
- 9:34Speaker 2: on the porch, you know whether someone's painted a pumpkin
- 9:37Speaker 2: teal or whether it's an artificial one. Uh, this is
- 9:41Speaker 2: something very very sweet.
- 9:42Speaker 1: So it started as like this this basic gesture for
- 9:45Speaker 1: kids with food allergies, but now it's become this global
- 9:49Speaker 1: movement on days like Halloween to let kids know or
- 9:53Speaker 1: parents know that there are non food treats available for
- 9:58Speaker 1: children with food allergies, so that it shows that that
- 10:02Speaker 1: house is aware that there are kids that can't have
- 10:06Speaker 1: treats like that food treats. So what they do is
- 10:10Speaker 1: they make sure that they have stuff for kids with
- 10:13Speaker 1: food alogies. And I thought that is a what a
- 10:16Speaker 1: cool way to celebrate this particular holiday. So glow sticks
- 10:21Speaker 1: or stickers or small toys or any of these non
- 10:24Speaker 1: food items can be offered up to a child. And
- 10:29Speaker 1: as a parent of an eight year old who we
- 10:31Speaker 1: often have kids over to the house, we always make
- 10:35Speaker 1: sure that we have stuff, whether it's you know, friends
- 10:39Speaker 1: that have Type one diabetes or they have a peanut allergy,
- 10:43Speaker 1: or they have whatever, to make sure that they feel
- 10:45Speaker 1: like they are part of things as well.
- 10:47Speaker 3: How about an upside down pineapple that well, I think
- 10:52Speaker 3: you know what that means, sir.
- 10:54Speaker 2: So I don't want to put that on the porch,
- 10:56Speaker 2: Dowie if you put it, What would an upside down
- 10:59Speaker 2: pumpkin means?
- 11:00Speaker 3: You know who's getting it on that day? Yeah?
- 11:03Speaker 1: No, an an upside down pineapple means something else. Don't
- 11:07Speaker 1: put that in your front yard. Bill and Lindsay might
- 11:11Speaker 1: show up and say, hiya, you seem like a nice couple.
- 11:15Speaker 1: But I thought that was just a really sweet thing.
- 11:17Speaker 1: And it was founded by this woman, Becky bus alone
- 11:21Speaker 1: back in twenty thirteen, and it's adopted by a group
- 11:24Speaker 1: called Fair and it's basically just a local effort in
- 11:29Speaker 1: global awareness about kids with food allergies or thing.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Hey, we know that Halloween is growing among adults.
- 11:36Speaker 2: It's become it's basically become an adult holiday where you
- 11:40Speaker 2: have Halloween parties and costumes and people make a big
- 11:43Speaker 2: big deal about it. Is there any growth in terms
- 11:46Speaker 2: of kids or is that basically flat?
- 11:51Speaker 1: That's an excellent question. I don't know that I have
- 11:52Speaker 1: the answer to it. I do know that, you know,
- 11:54Speaker 1: just watching objective would be a anecdotally I guess is
- 12:01Speaker 1: looking or subjectively carry the one is looking around. We
- 12:05Speaker 1: get a decent number, but we tend to decorate our house, right,
- 12:09Speaker 1: But you know what's happening in my neighborhood this year.
- 12:12Speaker 1: They're blocking off more streets than ever before. Okay, so
- 12:15Speaker 1: they block them off, make them safe for kids to
- 12:17Speaker 1: walk through, and and that's a good sign to me. Okay,
- 12:22Speaker 1: you know, so that's happening more and more. But parents
- 12:24Speaker 1: are pickier. We're picky as to where we're taking.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, helicopter parenting, especially trick or treating. I mean,
- 12:30Speaker 2: that's on a hold that being aware. We're not crazy
- 12:33Speaker 2: about it, but being aware. All right, last half hour
- 12:36Speaker 2: of Friday always great fun. It's ask Handle Anything, and
- 12:40Speaker 2: it's you asking me questions, and we record these during
- 12:44Speaker 2: the week and Neil chooses the questions that are going
- 12:49Speaker 2: to be played in just a moment or two, and
- 12:52Speaker 2: I hear them for the first time just like you do.
- 12:55Speaker 2: And I try to answer virtually everything. Now there's a
- 13:01Speaker 2: couple of personal things that I won't answer. You know, Bill,
- 13:04Speaker 2: have you ever had an std I listening in your business?
- 13:06Speaker 3: Three times?
- 13:07Speaker 2: And will go ahead and answer all those questions?
- 13:11Speaker 3: All right? Cono question This is for Bill Handle.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Hey, Bill, ask you anything. My wife and I recently separated,
- 13:20Speaker 4: and I found out that she's dating my best friend
- 13:23Speaker 4: and a lot more than dating, according to her. So
- 13:28Speaker 4: now I moved to Texas from Los Angeles. I moved
- 13:32Speaker 4: to San Antonio and she's giving me a lot of
- 13:35Speaker 4: hints that she wants me to come back. Wanted to
- 13:37Speaker 4: see what you think I should do.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Thanks, Bill, Love your show depends on how much money
- 13:41Speaker 3: she has. That's I feel for that guy. You can
- 13:45Speaker 3: hear it in his voice what he wants. Maybe he
- 13:49Speaker 3: wants to have her back.
- 13:50Speaker 2: No, you know, just doteh Okay, that's your advice, which
- 13:54Speaker 2: is good. Think.
- 13:55Speaker 3: So I think he wants to come back. I think
- 13:57Speaker 3: he does. But I'm telling them, you're saying, don't come back.
- 14:00Speaker 3: I got so let me go. Never treat her the
- 14:02Speaker 3: same and it's not fair for anybody, and.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Let me go back to Yeah, it depends how much
- 14:06Speaker 2: money she has.
- 14:08Speaker 3: It's just not real friend. It was. It was his
- 14:11Speaker 3: best friend.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Yes, you know, there's a great story about That's like
- 14:16Speaker 2: there was a divorce story where you had a guy
- 14:22Speaker 2: who caught his wife in bed with his best friend
- 14:26Speaker 2: and he said, murray, I have to do this, but
- 14:31Speaker 2: you okay, all right?
- 14:38Speaker 7: Moving on?
- 14:40Speaker 3: Please, hey handle, why is there an Eastern seaboard but
- 14:45Speaker 3: not a Western seaboard? I figured you would know something.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Thanks have absolutely no idea. I was laughing you. I'm like,
- 14:55Speaker 3: that sounds like something you should know.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I think it's because they have board, you know,
- 15:01Speaker 2: Atlantic City and the word board, and it's in the East.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I'm guessing, and that was way way before anything developed
- 15:08Speaker 2: in the West. That's just a guess. That's just a guess.
- 15:12Speaker 2: But I think a lot of it has to do.
- 15:13Speaker 2: There's certain terms that are used on the East because
- 15:16Speaker 2: the East. Uh, you know when when the country was
- 15:18Speaker 2: founded in the you know, late seventeen hundreds, you know,
- 15:22Speaker 2: LA was you know.
- 15:24Speaker 3: There were four Indians and there were Native Americans.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yeah you know those two Yeah, those are feather Indians,
- 15:31Speaker 2: not DoD Indians. And there was there was a couple
- 15:34Speaker 2: of missions that were put up by you know, father
- 15:37Speaker 2: Hugh NIPPERO Sarah and who.
- 15:38Speaker 3: They put put up.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Yeah, there was Native Americans and they simply just put
- 15:42Speaker 1: them up.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Yeah, the father of Hugh NIPPERO Sara that we used
- 15:46Speaker 2: to study as this wonderful historian figure. It turns out
- 15:49Speaker 2: he enslaved all of the Native Americans and forced them
- 15:52Speaker 2: to build the missions.
- 15:54Speaker 3: And now we have to replicate them in MACARONI.
- 15:58Speaker 2: I know yeah, fourth grade. Yeah, I'm know everybody does that,
- 16:01Speaker 2: all right?
- 16:01Speaker 5: Kno, Hi Bill, long time listener since the early nineties. Actually,
- 16:08Speaker 5: I have a question for you. Have you used boner pills?
- 16:12Speaker 5: Do you have any cautionary tales, experience or advice?
- 16:16Speaker 3: You know what? I guess it's more than one question.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I have to tell you, and
- 16:21Speaker 2: that'll be well said, Boner Pills.
- 16:23Speaker 3: I appreciate she's not asking for herself.
- 16:26Speaker 2: So you know what, as a matter of fact, just
- 16:30Speaker 2: to your point, it looks like first quarter I'm going
- 16:33Speaker 2: to be doing commercials for Boner pills. Yes, for Boner Pills.
- 16:38Speaker 2: And here is you know, I'm literally on.
- 16:42Speaker 3: The verge Boner pills.
- 16:43Speaker 2: And I'll tell you, and I'll tell you why I'm
- 16:45Speaker 2: on the verge because it's getting too expensive for me
- 16:50Speaker 2: to throw two hundred dollars at Lindsay and say go here,
- 16:53Speaker 2: go take care of yourself and leave me alone. It's
- 16:56Speaker 2: just too much money. So yeah, I'm on my way precisely.
- 17:04Speaker 2: You know that's a you know, Kno, that is a
- 17:06Speaker 2: promo if I've ever heard one. If I have ever
- 17:09Speaker 2: heard of a proto promo that we have to do exactly.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Okay, oh what promo nography. That's why I love about
- 17:21Speaker 6: this segment. I just love this segment. All right, I
- 17:24Speaker 6: think we have time for one more before we take
- 17:26Speaker 6: a break.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Hey, Bill, I know you're not going to care about this,
- 17:29Speaker 1: but I'm going to ask you anyway and the rest
- 17:31Speaker 1: of the team, if you're going to paint your face
- 17:33Speaker 1: like one of the characters from Kiss?
- 17:35Speaker 3: Which one would it be? Star Child, Demon, space Man
- 17:40Speaker 3: or cat Man? Are those the characters and Kiss? I
- 17:44Speaker 3: don't even know that those are the four. I had
- 17:47Speaker 3: no idea.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I knew there were four guys and their.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Cat.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I did not know that we have Starchild I.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I did not know that at all.
- 17:59Speaker 1: So Demon, I'd be one of the he's also Jewish,
- 18:02Speaker 1: I'd be Simmons.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah, oh yeah, he has.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he was a school teacher here in Los Angeles.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Oh do you still get the newsletter? No, the Jews letter.
- 18:14Speaker 7: Uh.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I would probably paint myself as posh.
- 18:18Speaker 3: That's okay, got it, all right? All right, come on,
- 18:23Speaker 3: next question, Hey Bill, this is Devin in l A
- 18:26Speaker 3: quick question.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I just wanted to ask you, man, what would you
- 18:30Speaker 2: consider the greatest movie of all time?
- 18:36Speaker 3: Subway Slut?
- 18:38Speaker 2: I thought I thought that was just a film that
- 18:43Speaker 2: I absolutely loved.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Please make Way for the Door.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Uh, you know, traditionalists, probably, I would guess Gone with
- 18:53Speaker 2: the Wind, and I could. I appreciate its history so much?
- 18:57Speaker 2: Uh yeah, big fan of movies, but you know, there's
- 19:01Speaker 2: so many. It's one of those things where you're there's
- 19:03Speaker 2: so many nothing more modern.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Huh was it?
- 19:08Speaker 5: You know?
- 19:09Speaker 2: Uh, producers, I think it's very funny. I'm just not
- 19:12Speaker 2: miss thinking off the top of my head. But do
- 19:14Speaker 2: I have a favorite movie?
- 19:15Speaker 3: Uh? No, I only like the historical content.
- 19:19Speaker 2: All the stuff that's tied into oppression. Yeah, pretty much,
- 19:22Speaker 2: slavery and all that. But just you know the Burning
- 19:24Speaker 2: of Atlanta when the back lot of MGM burned down,
- 19:27Speaker 2: and David o' selznick.
- 19:29Speaker 3: By the way, do you know what the oh stood
- 19:31Speaker 3: for in David o sell Nick?
- 19:32Speaker 1: No?
- 19:32Speaker 2: Nothing, he made that up. He thought it would just
- 19:35Speaker 2: sound better, Harry S. Truman, The S stands for nothing. Really, Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 2: it's just that, you know.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I call Amy amy K King and people will sometimes go,
- 19:48Speaker 1: why do you call her that?
- 19:50Speaker 3: Kay?
- 19:50Speaker 2: Is her meddle name and so on her social media
- 19:53Speaker 2: it's Amy K King, Amy amy K King, But people
- 19:58Speaker 2: like King, why do you call her?
- 19:59Speaker 3: What does that mean? It's her middle name, not the letter,
- 20:02Speaker 3: it's not the initials. It's Kay. Didn't know that, didn't
- 20:06Speaker 3: know that? All right? Hold on something, Friday, Bill.
- 20:11Speaker 5: I was thinking about the person that you used to
- 20:14Speaker 5: mention and you shows Maria.
- 20:16Speaker 7: She used to work for you, your nanny, housekeeper, slush gardener.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Does she still work.
- 20:22Speaker 5: For your family or she did you help her get
- 20:25Speaker 5: her legal status in the USA after serving you for
- 20:28Speaker 5: so many years?
- 20:29Speaker 3: Or did you turn her twice? By the way, this
- 20:31Speaker 3: is my question for the next White House event. Okay, qualify.
- 20:35Speaker 3: The answer is yes, Maria still works for us.
- 20:39Speaker 2: We hired Maria as the girl's nanny when she was
- 20:42Speaker 2: when the girls were five.
- 20:44Speaker 3: They're now thirty.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Maria is still there, and Maria lives with Marjorie and
- 20:51Speaker 2: does basically you know, the girls are gone, but Marjorie
- 20:56Speaker 2: and Maria became so close that Maria is still there
- 20:59Speaker 2: and affectively is a nanny for Marjorie, if you will,
- 21:02Speaker 2: or takes care of Marjorie's her housekeeper and as did
- 21:06Speaker 2: I help her become legal?
- 21:07Speaker 3: No, actually she was already.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Actually the other way is I tried to get her
- 21:11Speaker 2: deported because it.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Was she she is the only housekeeper I know that
- 21:17Speaker 1: has a housekeeper.
- 21:19Speaker 3: That's true. I remember that she.
- 21:22Speaker 2: A housekeeper coming and I go, well, what's that, Oh,
- 21:25Speaker 2: well that's the housekeeper.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Then what's Maria.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Well, she's a housekeeper, but she doesn't do housekeeping stuff. Yeah, anyway,
- 21:33Speaker 2: Maria's yes, she is absolutely with us, and no, she
- 21:37Speaker 2: was legal. She came to this country by the way,
- 21:40Speaker 2: the back in the trunk of a car, and I
- 21:43Speaker 2: took and was able to take advantage of Ronald Reagan's
- 21:46Speaker 2: first amnesty. So she's been here a very very long
- 21:50Speaker 2: time and a very sharp lady boy, and she jumped
- 21:52Speaker 2: on that one.
- 21:52Speaker 7: All right, Cono, another one, Bill, Why is it that
- 21:57Speaker 7: time slows down the faster you travel through space and
- 22:00Speaker 7: the closer you are to a supermassive heavy object? And
- 22:04Speaker 7: why does time stop if you travel the speed of light?
- 22:07Speaker 3: Thank you?
- 22:08Speaker 2: Okay, it's a very good question. First of all, time
- 22:10Speaker 2: does not stop with the speed of light. It just
- 22:12Speaker 2: slows down. Second of all, you're talking about Einstein, Einstein's Einstein,
- 22:18Speaker 2: Einstein's bagels, Einstein's theory of relativity. And to describe relativity,
- 22:24Speaker 2: and I've often been asked to do this because I
- 22:27Speaker 2: am such a academic and a mathematical maven is Okay,
- 22:34Speaker 2: here is the theory of relativity. When you are having sex,
- 22:40Speaker 2: good sex, one hour of it seems like a minute.
- 22:46Speaker 2: When you are sitting naked on a hot stove, one
- 22:49Speaker 2: minute seems like an hour.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Okay. Ultimately you still had sex for only one minute.
- 22:57Speaker 3: I just want to make that clear. That's a very
- 22:59Speaker 3: good point. There's a speed of light. Sometimes don't do
- 23:02Speaker 3: it on the stove so she doesn't feel that it's longer.
- 23:06Speaker 3: That's true. All right, Cono, I think we have time
- 23:08Speaker 3: for one more.
- 23:09Speaker 8: Hey, good morning, Billy. I got a question for you.
- 23:12Speaker 8: There's not a show that goes by you don't mention Costco.
- 23:15Speaker 8: So my question is how many times a week do
- 23:18Speaker 8: you go? And like zumans, are you financially invested in them?
- 23:23Speaker 2: Okay, the answer is no, and I go. Costco is
- 23:26Speaker 2: at least twice a week.
- 23:28Speaker 7: Uh.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Costco is my therapy. Now I fired my therapist because
- 23:31Speaker 2: I found out publicly traded.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I don't know if Costco is. Yes, it is, Oh
- 23:37Speaker 3: it is publicly traded. Oh you have You don't have
- 23:40Speaker 3: stuck in Costco? Yeah I don't.
- 23:42Speaker 2: You might just make your money back. I don't buy stock,
- 23:45Speaker 2: you know. I basically buy mutual funds. And I'm sure
- 23:48Speaker 2: someone in there they have Costco. Because I don't choose.
- 23:51Speaker 2: It's too volatile me for choosing stock. So I'm not
- 23:55Speaker 2: tremendously good at that. And although I have to tell
- 23:58Speaker 2: you a couple of days ago, which Smart and Final.
- 24:01Speaker 2: And I'm becoming a fan of Smart and Final, and
- 24:04Speaker 2: I must tell you it is great. And they have
- 24:08Speaker 2: these pork egg rolls that you can't find anyplace else
- 24:12Speaker 2: on the planet, and I go to Smart and Final
- 24:15Speaker 2: to buy those. Also, if you have parties, you know,
- 24:17Speaker 2: we had a party, and I mean, where else are
- 24:18Speaker 2: you going to go to? You have party goods other
- 24:20Speaker 2: than Smart and Final? But not like Smart and Final. No, no, no, no,
- 24:27Speaker 2: not like Smart's.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Also one of the few places you can find extra
- 24:31Speaker 1: or high gluten flower making pizza and bread.
- 24:33Speaker 2: All right, So anyway, that's the point. I go a
- 24:36Speaker 2: couple times a week to Costco. Has to become therapy
- 24:38Speaker 2: for me.
- 24:39Speaker 3: That's that's it. We're done. God, it was a fun
- 24:42Speaker 3: quick week, wasn't it? All Right?
- 24:44Speaker 2: Coming up, Gary and Shannon. I'm back tomorrow morning eight
- 24:47Speaker 2: to eleven o'clock with Handle on the Law, Marginal legal advice,
- 24:52Speaker 2: Rich de Murrow from eleven to two and Neil of
- 24:55Speaker 2: course from two to five. And Monday we start all
- 24:58Speaker 2: over again exactly with the same crew. And that I
- 25:02Speaker 2: just say, Gary and Shannon are coming up next. I
- 25:04Speaker 2: have to give him some kudos here. All right, Gary
- 25:07Speaker 2: and Shannon are coming up next.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Oh well done, kudos ain't been done. There you go, boy.
- 25:11Speaker 2: This is why I get paid the big bucks, because
- 25:14Speaker 2: I am the professional around here.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Sure piss everyone off.
- 25:17Speaker 2: That's absolutely true. All right, guys, we're done. This is
