- 0:23Speaker 1: I think we've been trying to get this.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Sarah Wolgamuth, help me out.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Again I messed up the pressure.
- 0:31Speaker 2: You did it, you did it, that was perfect.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Say your last name.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Wolgamuth, wolgamuth, let me tell you this lady's got the goods.
- 0:40Speaker 1: So, sarah, I really appreciate you making time to meet with me.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I know you're busy with as a wife, mom and a multimillionaire doing your thing.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Yes, I love it.
- 0:54Speaker 1: So, first of all, you guys, you got to know that I found Sarah on Michelle Tufford's group and there was just.
- 1:03Speaker 1: You know, sometimes someone has an anointing just in their picture and right away I'm like this lady is anointed.
- 1:10Speaker 1: So I went over and friend during.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Kind of we went back and forth.
- 1:13Speaker 1: This interview was supposed to happen last year, I think sometime, but anyway, and one thing that I noticed and I still continue to notice.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Excuse the language, I could call you a badass, but I think the more proper way is to say that you carry the elegant authority of heaven.
- 1:32Speaker 1: That's a little better than the other way, but that's what I see in you and you know, I know I can identify anointing and I can identify authority.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So it is such an honor to have you grace our podcast and live all over social media.
- 1:46Speaker 1: So thanks, sarah, oh my gosh, teresa.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I love that, that elegant authority like that, those two together it's like, yes, I stand in agreement and I receive.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Thank you so much that is beautiful.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I'm glad you do, because you know I want to re-engineer talking to you and instead of starting out with any like story behind it.
- 2:11Speaker 1: But I want you to go right up to the microphone and really tell us what you've got going on, and let's talk finances first.
- 2:20Speaker 1: So tell me.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Let's talk finances.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, let's talk money.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Talk money.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I think, you know, I think, teresa, money has been, you know, a journey for my husband and I and, um, you know, it's two years ago when I turned 40, it was like God shook me awake.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Wow, he really shook me awake and it was, um, he kind of just.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I mean, god speaks in so many ways right, but for me it was just very much like I've done life without God and I've done life with God, and there is no comparison no done and um, you know, we may or may not get to my husband in our marriage story, but God has shown up in miraculous ways in my life in many, many areas, and so I believe that I could speak in authority because of the mess that I came from and where God brought us through.
- 3:16Speaker 2: And so, you know, when God brings you and heals you and brings you into places, you then have an authority that you can speak on, because, like, listen, god is my King and he led me through things.
- 3:25Speaker 2: And so, you know, we turned, or both of my husband and I he's six months behind me, but I turned 40 and it was like God was like Sarah, what are you doing?
- 3:34Speaker 2: Okay, what are you doing?
- 3:36Speaker 2: You have had dreams that I have placed inside of you for the last 25 years, that you have left on the back burner, and why?
- 3:45Speaker 2: why, have you, wow, and it was like why have I?
- 3:50Speaker 2: You're right, god wow like why have I left these on the back burner?
- 3:55Speaker 2: Yes, we get into seasons of parenting and mother.
- 3:57Speaker 2: You know there's these seasons where yes, we're, we're putting maybe things on pause, but also I actually really had no excuse other than fear, disbelief in myself.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Can.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I actually do that, God.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Those are big, big, huge dreams, Are you sure?
- 4:11Speaker 2: I don't know that takes a lot of money.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I'm not sure, God, we don't really have.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And it was like Sarah, who am I?
- 4:19Speaker 1: I am your king.
- 4:20Speaker 2: And one of the things Teresa that I know is God is rich.
- 4:23Speaker 2: And one of the things Teresa that I know is God is rich.
- 4:26Speaker 2: God is filthy rich.
- 4:27Speaker 2: He lives in lavishness.
- 4:28Speaker 2: We have the kingdom of this earth that he's provided for us.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Who are we, as daughters, sons and daughters of the king, to think that, if God is rich and you think of streets of gold and how he describes heaven, who are we to think that to step into prosperity and abundance and wealth is wrong in any way?
- 4:45Speaker 2: No Right.
- 4:47Speaker 2: The king of heaven is our creator.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Gold, silver, all of the things are at his fingertips.
- 4:54Speaker 2: And for so many years I lived in this belief that I had to be in.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I believed I had a scarcity mindset like well, God, those dreams are really expensive, that's going to cost a lot of money, so you know.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I don't, I don't know, like I don't, I can't see how that's gonna happen.
- 5:09Speaker 2: God's like hello who are you?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Who is your king?
- 5:13Speaker 2: Who's leading you right?
- 5:15Speaker 2: And so he really shook us um two years ago, and so that led me into.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I was talking to a girlfriend.
- 5:22Speaker 2: I remember distinctly it seems so simple, teresa, but it was a moment where I said, all right, naomi, I was talking to a girlfriend.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I remember distinctly it seems so simple, teresa, but it was a moment where I said, all right, naomi, I was talking to my friend, naomi.
- 5:30Speaker 2: We had just finished a workout, we're sitting in the parking lot before we're going to go home.
- 5:33Speaker 2: And I said, okay, I'm going to tell you my big dream and it's kind of scary to tell you because I've I've not really spoken it out loud before and I shared with her and all she said to me was all right.
- 5:44Speaker 2: So, sarah, I think you should go for it.
- 5:47Speaker 2: And I was like I should go for it.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I love it.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Duh, I should go for it, I should go for it.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So it was like you know what I put myself into leadership training.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I put myself into courses.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I put myself in the vicinity of millionaires who were God infused right and I allowed God to begin to expand my mind, that if I've called you to it, right, I'm going to bring you.
- 6:11Speaker 2: If I've called you, I'm going to bring you there.
- 6:14Speaker 2: And now it's up to you to take those action steps.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So it led us to, last year, stepping into an online business, which God led us to as the vehicle to create wealth yeah, I do, we need to create wealth, teresa.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Well which God led us to as the vehicle to create wealth.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Why do we need to create wealth, teresa?
- 6:27Speaker 2: Well, if God has given you dreams that require finances, you got to have a way to get those finances right.
- 6:33Speaker 2: And so we stepped into this high ticket online health business, which is very incredibly.
- 6:39Speaker 2: God infused so many people.
- 6:41Speaker 2: It's like God leads the way, like God is number one not everyone, of course, but so many I want.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I want our listeners, I want our listeners to really hear what you said.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Yeah, she had to change her belief systems.
- 6:55Speaker 1: So she got in the room of people who helped her change her belief system, meaning she got around people who had done it before.
- 7:03Speaker 1: But more than that, there's a mental shift.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And I just got to say, on a side note.
- 7:08Speaker 1: On a side note, making money can be spiritual warfare, because we're going to use the money for our dreams that impact people and the enemy knows that and you know he wants us to use our money for something else.
- 7:22Speaker 1: So the tension he wants us to use our money for something else.
- 7:25Speaker 1: So the tension sometimes the tension is the right sign that you're going in the right direction.
- 7:30Speaker 1: So take us back.
- 7:31Speaker 1: You got yourself in a room around God-anointed, infused mindsets.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Yes, they're rich, but their mindset was their ticket.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I love that.
- 7:42Speaker 2: You say it can be spiritual warfare and I so am starting.
- 7:46Speaker 2: It's like the more I'm in the rooms in the vicinity of people who walk in abundance, because they know that as God's child I am royalty, which means my authority is already that abundance is mine.
- 7:58Speaker 2: It because I am royalty from God's God, right, right.
- 8:02Speaker 2: God is my father, and so how that Satan doesn't want that right?
- 8:08Speaker 2: He would love us to all live in scarcity.
- 8:10Speaker 2: He would love us to be focused on stressed out about where how am I going to pay my bills?
- 8:15Speaker 2: and stressed out about financial burdens, and so all we do is play this small life of being focused on the lack rather than the abundance that is ours for the taking.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Like the.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Israelites who were supposed to step into the land flowing with milk and honey, and it took them 40 years.
- 8:31Speaker 2: What Satan wants us to focus on, what we don't have and the scarcity and the impossibilities, rather than God saying no, I've called you to this promised land.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Now go and take it Right.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And so.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Oh my word.
- 8:44Speaker 2: It's just like yes, I love that you say spiritual warfare.
- 8:47Speaker 2: It's like guys as sisters, yeah.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I've got to fight against the enemy.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Wanting to keep us blind, blind to what is ours for the taking blind to who you are, because as soon as we become aware of who we are Teresa.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Yeah, we become aware of who we are Teresa.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Oh, do we become a threat?
- 9:07Speaker 2: Yes, that's right.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Oh, we become a threat to the darkness, right, we become a threat to the darkness.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And let me interject here because it's part of, sometimes part of the journey is from your misery to your destiny.
- 9:17Speaker 1: So if you're, you're watching right now and there's just a lot of junk flying around, don't think you're not disqualified.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I think I.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I think no, no, it's a different, it's a sarah said it.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Well, sorry, my cat is getting involved.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Um, it, it's a belief.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Yeah, my cat.
- 9:34Speaker 1: When he hears anointed voices, he comes right here.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I have therapy with a very anointed woman and he's right here.
- 9:42Speaker 1: He knows the anointing, but it's a belief.
- 9:46Speaker 1: So if you're going through the stuff that doesn't disqualify you, I have to say that because, sarah, you know you're, you're talking about stepping into rooms with multimillionaires and I've been there where I'm like, oh, if I hear another person say they're a seven figure, six figure, I think I'm going to throw up.
- 10:01Speaker 1: But that was my boat, junk I was working through.
- 10:03Speaker 1: So I just want to be real sensitive to those that are listening or watching it's you got to go through a progress and listen, listen, listen.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Investing yourself as a kingdom principle.
- 10:16Speaker 1: So don't be afraid to invest in yourself.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Okay, sorry, I had to interrupt you because I know the different audience.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I mean, you're just radiating and I and that's where you do have the elegant authority, because you walk through some stuff yourself.
- 10:30Speaker 2: So yes, and, and the thing is too, teresa, like we say, investing in yourself is actually the greatest return of investment ever.
- 10:38Speaker 1: That is the greatest return of investment.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Nothing else will compare to investing in yourself, which includes health in your mind, in your body, in your thank you in your spirit that's where you start, right, that's where you start and then, and so why I am so passionate now about, like, actually talking about money is because I did that journey and massive inner healing, massive amounts of God, woundedness and brokenness.
- 11:06Speaker 2: And so now it's like, okay, god's like you, you're here, and so now you're ready, and so now let's work on that scarcity mindset.
- 11:14Speaker 2: And now here's the next step, right, and so, yeah, absolutely.
- 11:17Speaker 1: So when you, when you got into those rooms of you know highly, uh, wise people, was it a process of letting that come to you in your mind?
- 11:27Speaker 1: As far as walking that out, what was that process?
- 11:30Speaker 1: Like I know, you had to invest, even invest, in the business you were going to go into.
- 11:35Speaker 1: So how was that process of investing in yourself and intaking?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Was that a process of changing your mindset?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Massively, massively, because when you have believed all your life and I, my parents, are incredible, but there's a, there was a fear that my parents kind of passed on to me of there's you must just save, save like store, store, store, because there's never going to be enough.
- 12:01Speaker 2: And so this fear right, and so you know how you bear.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Um, what's that one in the Bible of where it's like he passed a talent to each right.
- 12:12Speaker 1: One of them buried it, One of them right.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Okay, the talent.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Exactly so.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I feel like my husband and I for many years lived in that let's bury, oh my gosh Like oh, my Right.
- 12:20Speaker 2: And so that's not coming from, that's not given to us by God, right?
- 12:26Speaker 1: that's a sign of fear, and so it was a massive process.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I remember when I first invested and yes, everything is an investment and so I first started into investing in my own personal development and leadership skills and in the vicinity of people who have had deep faith, and I remember first just thinking, oh my goodness, so blown away by the amount of faith filled, bold millionaires.
- 12:48Speaker 2: I was because I had never been around that in my life, and then starting to expand my mind that the possibilities of what I have thought hasn't actually been reality.
- 13:00Speaker 2: There is actually a land of spaciousness that many are have already made it to, and I just need to continue to be around these people who God has led me to.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, because I believe that God wants to take me into a land of a spaciousness as well, and it was a call.
- 13:21Speaker 2: It was a call, yeah it totally was and so, yeah, of course it was a process and still is, because every level I've heard someone say one time, every level there's a new devil.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, my God.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know it's that studies prove that those you hang around with can change the structure of your brain, change the structure of your brain.
- 13:48Speaker 1: So as you start to align yourself, I mean this is a call for you listening.
- 13:50Speaker 1: You know there are opportunities, good opportunities around there to get into a group that's going to help you change your belief systems.
- 13:58Speaker 1: And when I know I have an idea, I know what groups you got into and they're just like the best.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You know, sarah, I'm not going to say how much, but uh, last year I was just surviving after, you know, still going through therapy.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I didn't have this cat and I was trying to just be faithful and along came a mastermind that really I couldn't afford but I felt that call.
- 14:26Speaker 1: So I sold all my stocks.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I had some investment after and I got in that mastermind and I used my credit card, okay, and they said that's good credit.
- 14:38Speaker 1: And what did it do?
- 14:41Speaker 1: More than anything, I could walk in a room and my energy level can meet their level because I had gotten confidence in myself.
- 14:48Speaker 1: I learned, I learned some great speaking, but but when it was time to drop out, I dropped out.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I mean, I had to ask if I could drop out but and I paid off those credit cards.
- 14:59Speaker 1: So I want that to be a testimony for something.
- 15:02Speaker 1: You don't have to go to this, this massive I mean way too expensive mastermind, and you know what's really cool?
- 15:10Speaker 1: I did have accountability and that was my therapist, who's now my friend and who's now my business partner.
- 15:17Speaker 1: But I remember her saying I remember saying what I had already done it, I already invested, I already made the first month and made the investment.
- 15:25Speaker 1: And it's so good to have someone say I believe in you and then say this you can trust yourself.
- 15:34Speaker 1: You can trust yourself.
- 15:35Speaker 1: See, one time a reason a lot of times we don't trust ourselves is the principle of saying no.
- 15:40Speaker 1: You've said you don't know how to say no to the wrong things.
- 15:48Speaker 1: And when you say yes to someone, when it's really a no, you lose yourself and it sends a signal to your brain you can't trust yourself.
- 15:53Speaker 1: So sometimes part of the healing is learning to say no to those things, and that might be no to Starbucks every day.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I mean I'm just no to the things, whatever it is, because then it makes the yeses.
- 16:06Speaker 1: So whenever I have something like a major to just to the to understand.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I don't.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I'm not dependent like an umbilical cord to my friend.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I'll just say I can trust myself and make those decisions.
- 16:18Speaker 1: So I think that's the mind we're talking about y'all.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Sarah got into rooms where she could trust herself because she was getting surrounded with and, no, I believe it, your belief system was radically shifted.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Do you think?
- 16:33Speaker 1: Do you think your belief system was so easily?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Uh, shifted because you sorry about my cat because you had gone through the marriage I don know, we don't have to get into the marriage.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Would you think that was a setup?
- 16:45Speaker 1: The, the rough marriage was a setup for you to be in a place where, yeah, I'm ready for the shift.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I think, when you come to a place of just complete brokenness and surrender, which we came to, which I've come to many times in my life I'm not going to say just once, like there's been many times I was like oh and brokenness and surrender again and again, you know, and so I've walked those journeys and so, yes, there's that place of just complete release and surrender.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Um, one thing that I speak on sometimes is actually that the repair is actually in the release, and so when we, when, when we actually open up our hands and allow surrender and release control, that's where God can repair it, right, beautiful.
- 17:30Speaker 2: So I really think that, as I say, the repair is in the release.
- 17:35Speaker 2: It's like I I've had so so much practice releasing and releasing and releasing.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Let go, sarah.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely.
- 17:48Speaker 2: It led me to all right.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I could hear it was God.
- 17:51Speaker 2: So clearly.
- 17:52Speaker 2: This is the room now.
- 17:53Speaker 2: This is the direction.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Now Let go of how you think things should look.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Okay, here we go, god.
- 17:59Speaker 1: It's such a process.
- 18:00Speaker 1: You know, in Amos nine, verse 11, I love this verse because I've taught on it a lot.
- 18:04Speaker 1: But when you said repair, it was talking about King David when he repaired the walls.
- 18:08Speaker 1: There was a repair, restore and rebuild process and sometimes God takes us through that.
- 18:15Speaker 1: We got to repair ourselves he's there.
- 18:18Speaker 1: We got to forgive, we got to change directions and then the restoration.
- 18:23Speaker 1: The restoration could take a while, but then the exciting thing, Sarah, as I see you, you were able to rebuild not just your mind, but you have a very six.
- 18:34Speaker 1: You're a very successful businesswoman.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Tell us about your company and kind of have what God's doing with that.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I think that's money.
- 18:41Speaker 2: It money, it's money and the thing is I'm so passionate now.
- 18:44Speaker 2: It's like listen your dreams.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Many of them might be expensive and that's put you off for many years, like literally just it need.
- 18:51Speaker 2: You need money and yeah, that's okay that God listen.
- 18:55Speaker 2: God doesn't put small things inside of us, so we just rely on ourselves.
- 18:59Speaker 2: We all that many times God will give you something that requires more finances than you think is possible, more faith than you might have.
- 19:07Speaker 2: And he's like okay, so now, what are you going to do about it?
- 19:10Speaker 2: Like and so God led us to this vehicle.
- 19:12Speaker 2: It's, I mean, the vehicle is medical grade ionized water.
- 19:16Speaker 2: That's like my company, okay, right, right.
- 19:19Speaker 2: And so god led us to.
- 19:20Speaker 2: This is the vehicle I want you to jump in and I want you to create massive amounts of money, finances to fund your big dreams that you've been sitting on for 25 years.
- 19:30Speaker 2: So here's your vehicle, get in, I'm gonna bless you yeah and and so we stepped into that, and so the online high ticket space is very, yeah, like the practical side of it is, yes, it's massive amounts of money.
- 19:43Speaker 2: One sale is four figures.
- 19:44Speaker 2: It has absolutely been astounding what god took us to.
- 19:48Speaker 2: My husband and I stepped in together last year into it.
- 19:50Speaker 2: My husband I mean he's not, I think he had 26 friends on facebook, like zero experience on like anything online.
- 19:58Speaker 2: He's like a roofing construction like yeah, guy's guy right, he's like okay, like this, is it what we want to do?
- 20:04Speaker 2: Business together.
- 20:05Speaker 2: We know we have these dreams like, let's do it sarah, and so it's been quite a fun experience, um, on the level of just like partnership, intimacy, relearning each other in a business sense, together, um, but yeah, it's been massively just.
- 20:19Speaker 2: God has brought the right partnerships and people to us and continuing to expand our territory within this company you know I'll say this one yeah theresa is the big god-sized dream we're now actively in the process of going after, and that's only nine months in this company that's awesome.
- 20:37Speaker 1: so so you you one key to this, if anyone's listening, she got on board with a vehicle of that.
- 20:45Speaker 1: There was a need for it.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I mean, you could try to sell whatever, but there's got to be a need for it.
- 20:51Speaker 1: And then there's got to be at least a good.
- 20:55Speaker 1: I don't know if you commission or you get full out 100 pay pay.
- 20:58Speaker 1: There's got to be a vehicle.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I mean, you could do all the mental stuff you want to.
- 21:04Speaker 1: You're changing your mind, but if you don't have a business, you're going to go broke.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I mean, come on, I'm just being real and that may offend you, but I love mindset, love it, love it.
- 21:16Speaker 1: But at the same time, I'm going to tell you, talk to you about daily pay.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I'm on a digital business because I want you to get mental, but I also want you to take some territory, and sometimes it takes finances to do that.
- 21:32Speaker 1: So I love.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I've been familiar with your high ticket thing.
- 21:33Speaker 1: So at the same time, you continually have to train yourself how to market that and how to present it.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Is that correct?
- 21:39Speaker 2: No, we don't actually, so that I mean, that's the beautiful thing about our business.
- 21:43Speaker 2: We just stepped into mentorship and training, so we don't have to.
- 21:47Speaker 2: We are in with a team who trains?
- 21:51Speaker 2: Us right, so they're training you.
- 21:52Speaker 2: So now, when we have people join us, it's like oh, that's awesome, it's mentorship, it's one-on-one mentorship and training yeah, so no gosh, if I had to figure it out on my own.
- 22:02Speaker 2: There's no way Beautiful.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a pretty big high ticket thing to not have.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with a company I don't I'm mainly there for the speaking but it used to be called Girl Power Alliance but now it's called Kingdom Alliance and they realized wait a minute.
- 22:21Speaker 1: We got to talk about mentorship and they did a shift from membership to mentorship.
- 22:25Speaker 1: And the reason I'm saying that is I hope I don't offend anyone but women who really understand that god's, they got a calling.
- 22:34Speaker 1: They're not afraid to pay for mentorship because they know they need it.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Do you see the difference between, oh, just being a member?
- 22:40Speaker 1: No, no, I need mentorship.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I need mentorship.
- 22:43Speaker 1: I want to continue to have mentorship on how to be a speaker and how to lead these classes now that inside Michelle Tufford's.
- 22:50Speaker 1: But I need mentorship.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I want to be coachable, and I think that's what you're saying.
- 22:55Speaker 1: And money my cat's joining.
- 22:57Speaker 1: And money, my cat's joining.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Money is like everyone has different reasons for money.
- 23:03Speaker 1: I deal with a lot of empty nesters and their identity is so hijacked because all they see themselves as a mom and then some of their kids leave and now there's like a total whoa, who am I?
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yes, and I'd like to help them before they get there.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Be the same.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Yes, you're a mom, but they're going to grow them before they get there.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Be the same, yes, your mom, but they're going to grow up and leave the nest.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Teach them how to do some things.
- 23:24Speaker 1: You're a mom, so your kids, I don't think, have left the nest, so teach them.
- 23:29Speaker 1: So when they leave, you're not going to be devastated because you've got some things going on, but you still love them.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I mean, someone may throw a rock at me for saying that, but I see this, what I see.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I see moms where that's their life and that's good to love them, but they've got to learn some things and it's just fun to.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I have a friend, my friend, who does have kids young, but they don't.
- 23:50Speaker 1: She calls it 18 years of hell.
- 23:53Speaker 1: No, no, in jail.
- 23:54Speaker 1: There's a love and there's, but there's like johnny, you gotta figure out how to do that.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Mama ain't gonna be here all the time that's right that's like a whole nother subject.
- 24:04Speaker 2: But well, I would.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I would have to agree, though, theresa, because our daughter is 18 and so she's going to university.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Our son is 16, and here's the thing we're.
- 24:12Speaker 2: We really are in our mid life, like you would say in our 40s is mid mid life, right like.
- 24:17Speaker 2: And so I would say that we were.
- 24:20Speaker 2: You know, up until two years ago, we were not good stewards as good as stewards with our finances as God has led us now in the past 10 years.
- 24:31Speaker 2: And so, coming to that midlife of like, oh my gosh, our kids are literally going to be out of the house within our son's 16.
- 24:37Speaker 2: So we've got a couple of years left, right, what are we doing?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Right, like, what are we we doing?
- 24:42Speaker 2: And there's so many people in this kind of late, late 30s, all the way into 60s or more right, where it's kind of like this like area of you almost can hit those seasons of oh, who am I and what?
- 24:55Speaker 1: am I doing you understand that?
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, um, but yeah.
- 24:58Speaker 2: God's like listen, I'm not done with you.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 25:07Speaker 1: So let's take a right turn.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Uh, speaking, you're an accomplished speaker.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Um, you know that's one of my passions.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Um, where, what was?
- 25:19Speaker 1: Was there something lined in your DNA that you knew that God was calling you to be a speaker?
- 25:23Speaker 1: Cause some they say what do they say?
- 25:25Speaker 1: That's one of the number one fears.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I think people use that number one fear and it keeps them from the stage.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Now listen when I'm saying stage y'all.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Your Facebook live can be a stage.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Your Instagram, it doesn't mean stage, stage.
- 25:40Speaker 1: If you get to go to a stage stage, well, praise God, that's awesome.
- 25:44Speaker 1: So what's?
- 25:46Speaker 1: What's your journey been like on with the stage with as a speaker?
- 25:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I love.
- 25:51Speaker 2: That's why I was so excited meeting you too, cause, like you've, you have felt and it's like I resonate.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Teresa, I preach to my in my living room.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I had a mic and an app and I put myself on mic and I was just putting up a storm in my living room.
- 26:06Speaker 2: So I understand that and I love speaking.
- 26:09Speaker 2: That is something I love.
- 26:12Speaker 2: The thought of speaking to thousands Like those things excite me, not scare me.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I would say you know God, probably in in the DNA of my family.
- 26:23Speaker 2: My grandpa was an Anglican minister and a Holy Spirit anointed like.
- 26:28Speaker 2: He didn't never use once.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Once he was filled with the Holy Spirit.
- 26:32Speaker 2: He never used a paper at, he just got up and stayed and preached right and so you know, my mom put us as kids into speaking competitions and stuff because she's like my kids are gonna know how to speak, because that's one of the major fears of people.
- 26:45Speaker 2: So she made sure that we worked, so she put us on stages all growing up.
- 26:50Speaker 2: So, yeah, I think that, like I really, um, I'm so thankful that she did that, because it really is something.
- 26:56Speaker 2: So then I stepped into Teresa.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Uh, I'm a person.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I've been a certified health and fitness coach for the past 15 years.
- 27:03Speaker 2: So, I know how to be in front of people.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I'm telling you to get going, let those you can do this like let's go Right.
- 27:10Speaker 2: So I think all of that was training for the past few years.
- 27:14Speaker 2: So in 2019, god really spoke and he said, sarah, it's time to share your story.
- 27:18Speaker 2: And we got to go public Like it's time, like there's women that need to hear your story.
- 27:22Speaker 2: And you know my, my story would be walking from through some.
- 27:27Speaker 2: You know trauma, like many of us, right Trauma and some abuse and some things in my past.
- 27:32Speaker 2: And God said it's time to speak up and share the healing that you found in me.
- 27:42Speaker 2: And so in 2019 was the first time I actually um, I just went live, as you said.
- 27:45Speaker 2: I knew that I was supposed to record and just press record and and, um, get that on on camera.
- 27:49Speaker 2: And so I did.
- 27:50Speaker 2: And that was the first time I kind of ever shared publicly and the amount of responses it just blew me away.
- 27:59Speaker 2: We never know if God prompts you, I don't care what it is.
- 28:04Speaker 2: There is someone that needs you to be brave and share, because God knows we don't.
- 28:11Speaker 2: It's like well, no, god knows.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Someone needs to hear your story in your testimony to have hope right.
- 28:17Speaker 2: And there's a saying that my husband and I live by now too, morgan Harper, nichols, it says be willing to tell others how you climbed your mountain because it can become a page in someone else's survival guide one day right.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and so you know that, and so that led to offering to speak on some stages and stuff, and so the first time I spoke in a room full of women, it was just like this is God has called me to this.
- 28:46Speaker 2: The tears and the healing and the things that happened in that room was just like, yeah, this is part of who God's called me to be and.
- 28:52Speaker 2: I'm just going to own that.
- 28:53Speaker 2: I'm going to own that.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I'm a speaker.
- 28:55Speaker 2: This is part of the journey.
- 28:58Speaker 2: I'm sure you can attest to all that.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I love that.
- 29:01Speaker 1: This is part of the journey.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I'm sure you can attest to all that.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I remember about four years ago when I was in control.
- 29:06Speaker 1: I remember I was studying the free stuff and I wanted to get in the expensive stuff and I was denied that.
- 29:11Speaker 1: But one thing I remember the guy saying is these major stages are looking for faith women.
- 29:17Speaker 1: There's a need for faith women.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Women who have faith doesn't mean you preach the gospel, but there's a place for that.
- 29:24Speaker 1: But I think there's more of a place for you being a church without walls and going to those stages where you know they're not going to go to church.
- 29:34Speaker 1: And, of course, I'm very passionate about seeing women unlock their voice.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Yes, you know, especially you feel voiceless.
- 29:42Speaker 1: You can feel voiceless in trauma and I think that's a nightmare.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I lived it.
- 29:46Speaker 1: You just didn't feel like you had a voice and that meant you.
- 29:50Speaker 1: That goes to the core of your identity, because when God was weaving you in your mother's womb, I know what he did with me.
- 29:56Speaker 1: He's like okay, I got a speaker in here and I was born porches.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I'm Catholic but I'm preaching.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I don't want to be a priest, I just want to preach.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I mean that's come on.
- 30:11Speaker 1: No, that just isn't happened.
- 30:13Speaker 1: But I believe I'm speaking to some women, though they know they know they're called, and I feel like you and I, sarah, we're just we're trying to stand up and say come on, come on out.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I mean, I think that's why I love the kingdom alliance, starting at Kim 10.
- 30:30Speaker 1: It's which stands for kingdom impact message.
- 30:32Speaker 1: It's like they're calling the women out.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Yes, and you don't have to be perfect on stage, but that is an experience, what I really, what I think it is, it really.
- 30:42Speaker 1: It really tests you on your identity.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Can I speak from the core of who God made me and someone may speak this way and someone may speak that way, and we need you.
- 30:52Speaker 1: I mean, in this day, a media start by going live on your Facebook or on your Instagram.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I think that's a great place.
- 31:01Speaker 1: If you were to go back.
- 31:02Speaker 1: How many years 20 years maybe.
- 31:06Speaker 1: And look at my, look at my videos on YouTube.
- 31:09Speaker 1: It's almost laughable.
- 31:12Speaker 1: But I was even in the midst of the cacophony of my marriage.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I wasn't going to lose my voice, even though I got it beat down.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I do, you could just see, I'm trying.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I was a radio announcer, but we moved.
- 31:24Speaker 1: So I had to let go of that so you could just see this little girl trying to get her voice out there.
- 31:29Speaker 1: And do you know what?
- 31:30Speaker 1: When you do that, I think you can survive your trauma better, as long as you take good care of your voice.
- 31:37Speaker 1: And it may be tough, okay.
- 31:39Speaker 1: So I know it can be tough, but I remember before I read the book the Body Keeps the Score.
- 31:45Speaker 1: I can remember.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I don't know if someone can relate to this, I'm going to just share it.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Last five years of my marriage, I'd have a good night's rest but I'd get up and I feel there's something on my back.
- 31:57Speaker 1: I used to say I got a monkey hanging on my back.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I mean, I was just that's crazy to think that way.
- 32:03Speaker 1: But it was just bricks.
- 32:04Speaker 1: But I had a choice I could go back to bed or I can get my body up and go to coffee and Jesus, because that's my voice.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I had to take care of my voice.
- 32:15Speaker 1: I think that might be for someone.
- 32:18Speaker 1: How would you encourage someone to continue on in the midst of the trauma?
- 32:23Speaker 1: How would you.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I think there has to be uh well amidst it.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, first of all, you can't do it alone.
- 32:35Speaker 2: You must, must, must reach out to someone.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Right, if you were in the midst of?
- 32:40Speaker 1: it, and I know that's hard.
- 32:41Speaker 1: It's hard to reach out, sarah, when you're surrounded by control.
- 32:45Speaker 1: But yeah, go ahead, go ahead, I mean yeah that's.
- 32:51Speaker 2: That's a deep um.
- 32:53Speaker 2: You know, when I was in the midst of it it was.
- 32:57Speaker 2: It took me, like it's in hindsight, where I see it right, where I see the cycle of why I stayed in something.
- 33:05Speaker 2: But you must reach out and know that you are worthy.
- 33:10Speaker 2: You are worthy, you are called, you are anointed and no one else gets to dictate or tell you who you are.
- 33:19Speaker 2: God, the creator, made you and you were intrinsically exquisitely designed in the womb with plans and purpose, and that you may be in circumstances where you're not living in what you know you're called to and just know that Father God sees you and that there is people he has lined up for you to walk with you and to help you.
- 33:44Speaker 2: You just get on your knees but also do what you can to reach out to you know trusted people because absolutely, the circumstances that you're living in is not who you are and the voices that try to tear you down is not who you are and, my gosh, the exquisite value that you have.
- 34:04Speaker 2: You are so, so, so worthy of so much more.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I guess we're going there with the relationship because you know it's, to have a glory story and not just a gory story.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Like you're walking out your glory story, you're not afraid to say, hey, we are messed up, but God, look what God's done.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So what is God?
- 34:24Speaker 1: What was one major thing you can see that may not be able to pick one where God took you.
- 34:30Speaker 1: It's almost like I read this.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I'm reading this book by that's a good book by Shauna Evans, and she says daughters, sometimes you have to go through the betrayal, the rejection, but God hasn't forgotten you.
- 34:46Speaker 1: That may be the setup for you to walk who you really are.
- 34:50Speaker 1: So can you speak to that at all?
- 34:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I remember I mean many moments.
- 34:55Speaker 2: But I remember specifically being on my living room floor just crying and wailing, screaming really, at the ceiling and at God, just being like who am I?
- 35:07Speaker 2: God Like who am I?
- 35:09Speaker 2: How did I get here?
- 35:10Speaker 2: This is not the life that I envisioned.
- 35:13Speaker 2: So at that point, teresa, I was so full of shame and hate and brokenness, just for who I was, for where my marriage, everything.
- 35:23Speaker 2: It was just such a brokenness moment on my living room floor and you know, I know the feeling of shame surrounding yourself, feeling guilt feeling or feeling like there's no hope or this is the life you envision.
- 35:41Speaker 2: I get it, I've been there.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Right, my husband, our marriage was, I mean you can think of everything possible.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Right, um, my husband, our marriage was, I mean you can think of everything impossible.
- 35:50Speaker 2: We probably walked through, um, as far as, just like he was deep in addictions, I was deep in just shut down and lies and you know, betrayal, just like, so wounded from our past that we hadn't dealt with.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Essentially, we brought our own woundedness into a marriage and tried to make it work well, two wounded people that haven't healed.
- 36:06Speaker 2: It was a mess, um, and so you know we really.
- 36:10Speaker 2: That was seven years into our marriage where it completely exploded.
- 36:13Speaker 2: We had two kids caught in the crossfire of that and um that, in those moments, is where we completely, as I said, we released, we let go and we all went on.
- 36:22Speaker 2: We went on a separate healing journey.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Right, it's like god's like I gotta do some surgery, open surgery on you and you, and it can't be together, like you have got to go on your own healing.
- 36:32Speaker 2: And God brought us from complete devastation and brokenness back together, so much so that we both went to the same therapist separately.
- 36:42Speaker 2: And so we were both pursuing our own healing journeys and we both went to the therapist separately.
- 36:48Speaker 2: And we finally one day we were kind of at a place of God was slowly bringing us miraculously back together and we walked into the therapist's office for the first time together and I remember we sat down.
- 37:00Speaker 2: There was a chair here and there was a chair over across in the corner, so we're totally separate from each other and my husband said he said, do you mind if I pull my chair close to my wife here?
- 37:10Speaker 2: I'd like to sit beside her.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Wow, and he sat beside me and we actually held hands and the therapist actually started to tear up oh, wow he said.
- 37:19Speaker 2: This is a moment I'll write about in my books.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Like he said, based on what I know of both of you, statistically you should not be together.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Wow.
- 37:30Speaker 2: And he said I will, and he ended up coming.
- 37:33Speaker 2: We publicly share our story and he was one of the first to show up to hear us share publicly our you know redemptive story in the audience.
- 37:43Speaker 2: So God can redeem, he really can yeah audience.
- 37:49Speaker 1: So God, god can redeem, he really can, yeah.
- 37:51Speaker 1: And that I appreciate the redemption story because there's also there's also a way to say that a man can never properly love a woman if he hasn't dealt with the shame and the brokenness of his past.
- 38:03Speaker 1: So you're just showing me your husband did that, he went through the shame, and that is so beautiful.
- 38:09Speaker 1: That is a story that is so needed.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Wow, I'm serious.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I give the anointings all over that story, because so often women realize that after the divorce or for me it was after he passed away it was like I knew there was stuff that was messed up.
- 38:26Speaker 1: But when I read that phrase I'm like, no, and he wouldn't deal with this stuff.
- 38:30Speaker 1: And your husband wasn't so prideful that he went and dealt with it.
- 38:35Speaker 1: He didn't already think he had.
- 38:37Speaker 1: You know, I don't know anything.
- 38:38Speaker 1: So that that's a powerful story.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I hope that God continues to give you guys platforms.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I know you're not afraid, but in some ways I see that as the foundation of you Like God's, like, okay, they're ox together.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Let's, let's, let's load them with money, cause they've got a dream for a horse farm.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Let's, let's.
- 38:57Speaker 1: They can be trusted.
- 38:59Speaker 1: So sometimes you have to put yourself in a place of being able to be trusted with the wealth, so speak on that, able to be trusted with the wealth.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so speak on that, I totally agree, and I think too.
- 39:12Speaker 2: It's like I always get like I'm not the best of my.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I know the bible but I don't know where is it.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Where it is in um, but it's like he trusts us.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Um like we must be trustworthy with a little before he'll trust us with much like that is just something that you know, and so I believe that for many years, we weren't trustworthy in those areas, and it's only recently where it's like God's like okay, you're demonstrating.
- 39:36Speaker 2: And here's the thing being trustworthy is being pursuing knowledge, pursuing wisdom, pursuing learning about finances, learn about investment yeah learn about those things.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Don't just say, well, I just don't understand it.
- 39:52Speaker 2: And three, listen, god wants to expand, but he has to be able to trust you exactly with it, right?
- 39:57Speaker 2: So?
- 39:57Speaker 1: what are you going?
- 39:58Speaker 2: to do with it right.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Wealth can be absolutely used for so much in his kingdom.
- 40:03Speaker 2: But if you have no idea how to even handle your finances, barely, oh well right and so, yes, absolutely, there's a level of trust that has to happen where you're like okay, I'm gonna do what I can.
- 40:14Speaker 2: There's so many resources out there to learn how to multiply what he's already given you yeah and once you're trustworthy with that, then he can begin to multiply and increase your territory even more.
- 40:26Speaker 2: So yeah, I agree.
- 40:27Speaker 1: I agree totally with that and despise, not small beginnings.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I mean despise, not those small beginnings.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I think what happens and I hate to say this, but I think religion gets in there and people believe, like you said you had this there's not enough.
- 40:41Speaker 1: That mindset sets in and if there's anything that you know that we all need to continually break off of us, is that mindset excuse me, of religion or of control, and once we start to shift our belief system.
- 40:57Speaker 1: So you, you had a shift in your marriage which resulted in a shift in your mindset, which resulted even to a more shift as you got in rooms of millionaires who knew who rise, a more shift as you got in rooms of millionaires who knew who were wise.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I'm sorry, if I could jump on, jump up and down and get on my little soapbox.
- 41:12Speaker 1: It's all in your mindset.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Change your belief, set.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Who does God say you are.
- 41:17Speaker 1: That's why identity.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Who does God say you are?
- 41:22Speaker 1: You came out of the womb.
- 41:23Speaker 1: You had a purpose.
- 41:25Speaker 1: You were meant to be, not to strive.
- 41:27Speaker 1: You were meant to be, not to strive.
- 41:28Speaker 1: You were meant to be.
- 41:28Speaker 1: And, yes, life happens.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm sorry if you're in a bad relationship, I'm really sorry.
- 41:34Speaker 1: I understand, but you can make small shifts.
- 41:38Speaker 1: It's all in your mindset.
- 41:40Speaker 1: I'm just so passionate about that because I see so many people their mindsets are they're just stuck.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Because they're stuck on what.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Maybe it's growing up, they're stuck.
- 41:52Speaker 1: But I really believe there's a release that can happen to your mindset and all of a sudden you have financial literacy.
- 41:57Speaker 1: All of a sudden you can not just make money, but you can keep money.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I get so riled up about that and I'm coming from a place of small Sarah.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I mean, when my husband died, I was homeless because we had made some investments and I was homeless and had nowhere to go.
- 42:13Speaker 1: But I was determined I substitute teach.
- 42:16Speaker 1: I hated it, but I was God's secret agent.
- 42:19Speaker 1: That's what he said.
- 42:20Speaker 1: I'm going to be, you're going to be, my secret agent.
- 42:22Speaker 1: So I did a stand up, substituting, constantly saying God, I need help, and I got therapy.
- 42:27Speaker 1: So I almost think every person in the world should be on some sort of therapy.
- 42:31Speaker 1: But anyway, okay, I'm getting off my soapbox, but I just think you know I pray for protection for you and your husband because you have a story that is needed Reconciliation coming out of the storm of the marriage.
- 42:46Speaker 1: And now reconciliation coming out of the storm of the marriage.
- 42:47Speaker 1: And now you're, you're carrying wealth, you have elegant authority.
- 42:50Speaker 1: So I just speak blessings on you and your husband, your guys' voices needed and thank you for being the example that you have been.
- 42:59Speaker 1: See, there's just fire that comes off of you, even in on Facebook.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Not a bad ass, just an elegant authority.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Elegant authority.
- 43:09Speaker 2: I love, love, love that.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Well, is there anything a final thing you'd like to like?
- 43:14Speaker 1: Share that maybe someone's listening and they just need.
- 43:17Speaker 1: They just need maybe a declaration or a word from your wisdom.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean man, when I just think here's what I know God is a God of the impossible and God told me years ago, I mean, isaiah 61 is about how God is.
- 43:35Speaker 2: He restores right.
- 43:37Speaker 2: He gives us beauty from ashes, right.
- 43:39Speaker 2: That is the God that you have at your, that has your back and there may be graves in your life where you think you know it's it's, it's closed, it's dead, like I've given up on that dream or I've walked away from this or I've walked away from this.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Well, there's a story where God um talks about um, where he brings the bones to life.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Yes, right, the, the, the valley, yeah, and he brings it to life.
- 44:05Speaker 2: So I would leave you with this that God is the God of bringing death back to life.
- 44:11Speaker 2: And that can be places in your life where you think, no, I just, I don't think I can, I, it's no longer.
- 44:17Speaker 2: You know, it's been many years.
- 44:18Speaker 2: It's like no, the God that you serve brings life out of dead places.
- 44:22Speaker 2: And don't you dare give up.
- 44:24Speaker 2: If you say, say God, come, I want you back in those places, I want resurrection, I want to be back in the purpose and the calling that then let him into those places and he can absolutely spring forth life where you thought there was no hope of life left.
- 44:38Speaker 2: And that is what I want to leave you with is know who your father is.
- 44:42Speaker 2: There is nothing impossible for him.
- 44:45Speaker 2: You have purpose, you have destiny.
- 44:46Speaker 2: You have a calling on your life just as much as anyone else.
- 44:49Speaker 2: There's no comparison.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Your unique voice and calling gets to be loud in the world.
- 44:55Speaker 2: You are worthy, you were called, you were anointed.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Step into that and start to claim that for your life.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Hallelujah That'll preach for all day long.
