Speaker 1: Welcome back to I Do Part two.
• 0:15
Speaker 2: It's one of your celebrity mentors here on the pod,
• 0:18
Speaker 2: Cheryl Burke, and today my producer, Heather wanted me to
• 0:22
Speaker 2: pop on the mic because she said she had some
• 0:24
Speaker 2: fun news to tell me.
• 0:26
Speaker 1: Oh, I hate surprises, Heather. I'm literally look all yours God.
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: Hi's Cheryl. How's it going good. It's been a while,
• 0:35
Speaker 1: I know, I know, since we had our really really
• 0:38
Speaker 1: sad Valentine's Day episode.
• 0:40
Speaker 2: Was that the last time that we did this together.
• 0:43
Speaker 2: I mean I talked to you after that, not.
• 0:45
Speaker 1: Me croock since then, but that's the last time the
• 0:47
Speaker 1: audience heard from as we were doing a really sad episode.
• 0:51
Speaker 1: I think that a lot of people ended up listening
• 0:54
Speaker 1: to a lot of single people. Yeah, I know that
• 0:58
Speaker 1: we weren't alone. We weren't alone, and we're not alone.
• 1:01
Speaker 1: But I wanted to kind of catch up with you
• 1:04
Speaker 1: a little bit before we kind of dive into that
• 1:07
Speaker 1: you know, little fun surprise that I said I wanted
• 1:09
Speaker 1: to talk to you about, but I wanted to kind
• 1:12
Speaker 1: of hear from you, and I know our listeners do too,
• 1:15
Speaker 1: about like what you've been up to lately. How have
• 1:18
Speaker 1: you been feeling Obviously, you've been getting a lot of
• 1:22
Speaker 1: press and like you know, been talking to the press
• 1:25
Speaker 1: a lot about what's been going on in terms of
• 1:28
Speaker 1: online stuff that you've been receiving. But I kind of
• 1:32
Speaker 1: wanted to know overall, like how is Cheryl doing?
• 1:36
Speaker 2: Did you also hear in the press that they asked
• 1:38
Speaker 2: me the big d question about dating? And I was like, no,
• 1:41
Speaker 2: we're not there yet.
• 1:43
Speaker 1: Well we're going to dive into all of that, of course,
• 1:46
Speaker 1: but tell me that right now, on this day, how
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: is Cheryl doing?
• 1:51
Speaker 2: Cheryl is a little like I'm just like, I feel
• 1:53
Speaker 2: like I'm being pulled a million different directions. I'm also
• 1:55
Speaker 2: working on another which we haven't announced yet, but I'm
• 1:59
Speaker 2: working on another show and we're busy pitching that. But
• 2:02
Speaker 2: it's a whole di re vibe. Like I told you before,
• 2:05
Speaker 2: we press record here. So but it what I've noticed,
• 2:08
Speaker 2: the pattern has been me having to grieve whatever or
• 2:12
Speaker 2: however that may be my past. It is shoved in
• 2:16
Speaker 2: my face and I have to deal with it because
• 2:21
Speaker 2: I have no choice, right like, in order for me
• 2:23
Speaker 2: to move on. And a lot of what I just
• 2:26
Speaker 2: mentioned that I was doing has a lot to do
• 2:28
Speaker 2: with that, and I think will help me when it
• 2:30
Speaker 2: comes to my personal life as well.
• 2:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, I kind of just wanted to talk to you
• 2:35
Speaker 1: about that because obviously it's the summer, right, summertime is
• 2:39
Speaker 1: a lock Girls summer, how Girl summer, but also wedding season, right.
• 2:44
Speaker 1: I know that you were just a part of your
• 2:48
Speaker 1: sister's wedding, and so I kind of wanted to know
• 2:51
Speaker 1: what that was like for you, as somebody you've talked
• 2:54
Speaker 1: about on this podcast that you've went through and you
• 2:56
Speaker 1: had the big wedding yourself, and the big wedding became
• 2:59
Speaker 1: an event for you and all of that. Now being
• 3:02
Speaker 1: on the other side of things and being a guest
• 3:06
Speaker 1: at a wedding and it's your sibling, what was that
• 3:08
Speaker 1: experience like for you? Did you have a date or
• 3:11
Speaker 1: were you solo? Kind of tell me a little bit
• 3:13
Speaker 1: about that. Yeah, I had a few dates.
• 3:16
Speaker 2: I'm kidding, that doesn't even sound right couping out of
• 3:18
Speaker 2: my mouth, but okay, so a lot of things happened. One,
• 3:21
  Speaker 2: I was a makeup artist, so I didn't have time
• 3:24
Speaker 2: to even do my own makeup, let alone. You know,
• 3:27
Speaker 2: I had focus on my sister, like I was her
• 3:29
Speaker 2: makeup artist for that weekend, I would say, because it
• 3:32
Speaker 2: was rehearsal, dinner and wedding I didn't have I was
• 3:35
Speaker 2: so I brought all of Sephora with me, and I
• 3:38
Speaker 2: filled my car up to the roof. Literally was like
• 3:41
Speaker 2: a mobile beauty department store. That was my actual car
• 3:47
Speaker 2: right driving from wherever I lived to the Bay Area
• 3:50
Speaker 2: checked in. Took me two days to unpack, literally, just
• 3:54
Speaker 2: my OCD was in full effect.
• 3:56
Speaker 1: So other than that and me thinking.
• 3:58
Speaker 2: I had appendicitis the morning of her wedding, thinking I
• 4:02
Speaker 2: had to go straight to the er, it was all smooth.
• 4:04
Speaker 1: It great. Be real with me for a second, though,
• 4:06
Speaker 1: because I went through both of my sisters getting married.
• 4:11
Speaker 1: We've already talked about this that I've never been married
• 4:14
Speaker 1: or engaged, and uh, you know one of those was
• 4:17
Speaker 1: a little tougher for me than the other. Really. Yeah,
• 4:21
Speaker 1: seeing my younger sister get married and ourt a family,
• 4:24
Speaker 1: and you know, my other sister been married, and you know,
• 4:28
Speaker 1: the kind of comments that I got at that wedding,
• 4:31
Speaker 1: Oh interesting, when is it going to be your turn?
• 4:34
Speaker 1: Always a bridesmaid, never a bride, Like these kinds of
• 4:37
Speaker 1: comments were to you, And so I kind of just
• 4:40
Speaker 1: want to know like even though you were totally in
• 4:44
Speaker 1: it and being an active supportive member of your sister's
• 4:47
Speaker 1: you know, thing like being there for the makeup. Was
• 4:50
Speaker 1: there ever any moments, either the drive up or sitting
• 4:54
Speaker 1: there were you where it was emotional for you in
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: a different way?
• 4:59
Speaker 2: I think it was it's you are a personal thing
• 5:01
Speaker 2: with my sister and I and our We've gone through
• 5:04
Speaker 2: a lot with each other, and what was interesting.
• 5:07
Speaker 1: So so to answer.
• 5:09
Speaker 2: Your question if you're trying to ask about like did
• 5:11
Speaker 2: it bring up my ex husband or like that time together, No,
• 5:15
Speaker 2: actually not at all. I was really choosing to be present.
• 5:21
Speaker 2: I put my phone away. It was so emotional for
• 5:24
Speaker 2: the both of us because yes, we do have an
• 5:26
Speaker 2: age gap. I didn't get any you know, crazy Filipinos
• 5:30
Speaker 2: for my family come up to me and be like,
• 5:32
  Speaker 2: you know.
• 5:33
Speaker 1: How are you feeling? Like none of that happened?
• 5:36
Speaker 2: What was I think the emotional side was just my sister,
• 5:42
Speaker 2: Like I think of my little sister as my daughter,
• 5:44
Speaker 2: you know, And I don't want to talk more about
• 5:48
Speaker 2: it than what I am talking about, but like you know,
• 5:50
Speaker 2: there's just been very emotional between us. It's been a
• 5:53
Speaker 2: rollercoaster and you know, like anybody's relationship. We evolve and
• 5:57
Speaker 2: some people do it together and some people don't like
• 6:00
Speaker 2: when I tell you we were so close, like we
• 6:01
Speaker 2: would go on like extravagant, luxurious vacations when we were
• 6:05
Speaker 2: both single in the past, and and then you know,
• 6:08
Speaker 2: we all meet our other halves and stuff happened, and
• 6:13
Speaker 2: so like, it was just beautiful to be able to
• 6:15
Speaker 2: be present. And my sister has said something when I
• 6:18
Speaker 2: was doing her and my sister was so emotional, like
• 6:20
Speaker 2: literally it was just like and as she should be, right,
• 6:23
Speaker 2: it was her day, but it was a different type
• 6:25
Speaker 2: of emotion that I never actually felt. And since we
• 6:29
Speaker 2: were both single in France together popping around, you know,
• 6:33
Speaker 2: so it's like more of a family internal thing than
• 6:35
Speaker 2: it was, you know, so sad that I'm not married
• 6:40
  Speaker 2: still type thing.
• 6:41
Speaker 1: I mean, was there any anxiety? I mean, I know
• 6:44
Speaker 1: I felt this before, having to go to a wedding alone,
• 6:48
Speaker 1: you know, having just been a table with people alone,
• 6:51
Speaker 1: having to hit the dance floor with people that you
• 6:54
Speaker 1: maybe don't know that wasn't the experience. You didn't have,
• 6:57
Speaker 1: no anxiety about being by yourself. No, actually love it.
• 7:03
Speaker 2: Now for my cousin's wedding, the first wedding I went
• 7:06
Speaker 2: to after like it was my first wedding that I
• 7:08
Speaker 2: attended since my wedding. Yes, definitely my sister. No, I
• 7:13
Speaker 2: knew everybody, you know, it was all of our friends
• 7:14
Speaker 2: and family, but I there were a couple of cute
• 7:17
Speaker 2: guys and there was this one single dude. Okay, there
• 7:20
Speaker 2: was this one single guy. When did you get there?
• 7:22
Speaker 1: Excuse what happened? Taking me through the timeline.
• 7:25
Speaker 2: So once I was done with my makeup artist duties,
• 7:28
Speaker 2: I was able to actually look up for my makeup
• 7:31
Speaker 2: brushes and I see other humans and so funny because strategically,
• 7:35
Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure my sister and her husband put me
• 7:38
Speaker 2: next to this one dude who's single, best friends with
• 7:42
Speaker 2: the groom and on paper, like I actually did ask
• 7:46
Speaker 2: about this guy soon after I got divorced, and I
• 7:49
Speaker 2: was like, oh, what's his deal? Because I always like
• 7:51
Speaker 2: saw him whenever, like he's gathering, like he's always bringing
• 7:54
Speaker 2: a new chick. And I was like, this guy, what's
• 7:56
Speaker 2: you know? He's a year older than me or something
• 7:59
Speaker 2: like that, and I was like, what's his deal? You know,
• 8:01
Speaker 2: like did you have a commitment issues? Like what's happening.
• 8:04
Speaker 2: First when I mentioned him, the response from my sister's
• 8:08
Speaker 2: husband wasn't like very responsive. So I was like, oh,
• 8:11
Speaker 2: maybe it's not Maybe either they think I'm not good
• 8:13
Speaker 2: for him or whatever. And now they kept like kind
• 8:17
Speaker 2: of saying. So like my sister goes, you know, I
• 8:19
Speaker 2: met my husband on Riyah, like, do you think you should?
• 8:22
  Speaker 2: And I was like, no, I don't think I should,
• 8:25
Speaker 2: but you might convince me maybe later down the road,
• 8:28
Speaker 2: who knows, never say never. But she's like, and I said,
• 8:31
Speaker 2: but how about your the you know, your husband's friend
• 8:35
Speaker 2: And she goes, yeah, yeah, I'm single.
• 8:37
Speaker 1: Do you think you're ready?
• 8:37
Speaker 2: And I was like, if I meet somebody authentically like that,
• 8:40
Speaker 2: it's different, right, Like it's different.
• 8:42
Speaker 1: Than having to go on a dating app. I'm sorry,
• 8:44
Speaker 1: but would that not be the cutest story ever? Like
• 8:47
Speaker 1: it would until until we met at my sister.
• 8:53
Speaker 2: Until something happened and it was such a turn up
• 8:55
Speaker 2: and I don't want to say.
• 8:55
Speaker 1: It, Cheryl, you have to tell me. I can't. I can't,
• 9:00
Speaker 1: you can't. Err oh my god, Okay, you have to
• 9:03
Speaker 1: tell me later then, but I will. But it was
• 9:06
Speaker 1: nothing to do with me.
• 9:07
Speaker 2: It had everything to do with his actions. And all
• 9:10
Speaker 2: I'm gonna say is that I'm sober.
• 9:12
Speaker 1: Well, I can deduce right what happens at a wedding,
• 9:16
Speaker 1: you know, is people tend to I don't know. I
• 9:18
Speaker 1: don't know if this time is at a wedding. I
• 9:19
Speaker 1: hope it doesn't, got it. Okay, something happened not at
• 9:23
Speaker 1: the wedding that turns you off.
• 9:24
Speaker 2: No, it happened at the wedding, at the dinner, at
• 9:27
Speaker 2: the speaking dinner reception. Okay, we'll talk about it later.
• 9:31
Speaker 2: It's not my business to put it out there for sure.
• 9:34
Speaker 1: But it wasn't There wasn't a connection. No, there was
• 9:38
Speaker 1: there was a connection until that happened. Okay, Well, let
• 9:41
Speaker 1: me ask you this, Cheryl. First of all, I i've
• 9:45
Speaker 1: already I just gave you a hint. I'm sober, I know,
• 9:48
Speaker 1: And I was about to say, Cheryl, I commend you
• 9:51
Speaker 1: on your sobriety. You know that, Thank you. And I
• 9:53
Speaker 1: think that that is also for anybody that I know
• 9:57
Speaker 1: in life that is sober and in a partnership. It
• 10:00
Speaker 1: is something that I've had conversations about with people where
• 10:04
Speaker 1: I say, even if you don't have a problem, or
• 10:07
Speaker 1: your partner doesn't have a problem, but has chosen that style.
• 10:13
Speaker 1: You need to choose that lifestyle as well as being
• 10:16
Speaker 1: in a partnership with somebody.
• 10:18
Speaker 2: I'm not saying that he should have been so like,
• 10:20
Speaker 2: I'm not saying that, but there's levels.
• 10:22
Speaker 1: I was going to say, was this a moment of
• 10:27
Speaker 1: indiscretion that we were at something or were you like, no,
• 10:31
Speaker 1: this is probably a lifestyle difference. It's a lifestyle I asked, Yeah,
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: it's a lifestyle difference.
• 10:37
Speaker 2: And if there were me ten years ago, it would
• 10:40
Speaker 2: be a match one hundred percent.
• 10:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, and listen, kudos to you for recognizing that right
• 10:47
Speaker 1: up front, and who knows. It's a shame. But also
• 10:52
Speaker 1: maybe things change later on, you know what I mean.
• 10:55
  Speaker 2: And then there's there's another dude. I'm not just it's
• 10:59
  Speaker 2: not just one.
• 11:00
Speaker 1: Okay, So talk about that. What happened? So all? Okay?
• 11:03
Speaker 2: So on the during the rehearsal, like the actual rehearsal
• 11:07
Speaker 2: at my parents' best friend's home where the wedding took place,
• 11:10
Speaker 2: we were practicing these walkdowns and I was originally paired
• 11:14
Speaker 2: with somebody and then I got switched and I was like,
• 11:16
  Speaker 2: oh rude, anyway.
• 11:18
Speaker 1: So cute, quiet, he was cute and quiet and yeah.
• 11:27
Speaker 1: So I asked my sister.
• 11:28
Speaker 2: Like, not obviously on her wedding day, but like, oh no.
• 11:32
Speaker 2: She brought it up when I did her makeup on
• 11:34
Speaker 2: her wedding day that morning, and she's like, what do
• 11:36
Speaker 2: you think of so and so? And I was like, yeah, like,
• 11:39
Speaker 2: I don't know. He seems really sweet. I don't freaking know.
• 11:42
Speaker 2: We literally were just walking elbow to elbow two seconds.
• 11:45
Speaker 2: I thought I was going a face plant. He saved
• 11:47
Speaker 2: my life and that was it. And she and I said,
• 11:50
  Speaker 2: but doesn't he have a girl? I thought I saw
• 11:51
Speaker 2: him with a girl. She goes, yeah, but they've been
• 11:53
Speaker 2: fighting supposedly, you know, like Nicole.
• 11:58
Speaker 1: Just because they're fighting on that day, I'm not going
• 12:00
Speaker 1: to be the first of all.
• 12:01
Speaker 2: I'm no, I am not somebody's rebound, okay.
• 12:07
Speaker 1: But that's so funny. That's bringing up a memory of
• 12:09
Speaker 1: a wedding I went to as well, where somebody was
• 12:12
Speaker 1: like they're on the outs, blah blah blah, like somebody's
• 12:14
Speaker 1: still having one argument. And it was no, it was
• 12:17
Speaker 1: like people went like in on an argument at the
• 12:20
Speaker 1: wedding and they were like, yeah, they're on the outs,
• 12:22
Speaker 1: and so Anyways, what I'm hearing and what I'm liking
• 12:26
Speaker 1: about this catchup Cheryl, is that I'm open. There's a
• 12:31
Speaker 1: traction sparking for you too. Yeah I'm not blind, yeah,
• 12:35
Speaker 1: but like literally, Cheryl, I think six months ago when
• 12:38
Speaker 1: we were talking, you would be like hard pass like,
• 12:41
Speaker 1: no way, my eyes are down.
• 12:44
Speaker 2: I am not yet when you're talking dating apps or
• 12:47
Speaker 2: anybody in this business.
• 12:49
Speaker 1: Yes, sure, but I don't think i've heard you express
• 12:53
Speaker 1: like even when I was like, what about a guy
• 12:54
Speaker 1: at the grocery store, You're like, I get my groceries delivered.
• 12:57
Speaker 1: It's true. I would say the same damn thing today
• 13:00
Speaker 1: is very true. But look, you went to a wedding.
• 13:04
Speaker 1: I had to go to a wedding, but there were
• 13:06
Speaker 1: two attractive men your orbit. So I think that this
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: is a good sign. I think it's a good sign.
• 13:13
Speaker 2: But that's what I mean, just so you know, just
• 13:15
Speaker 2: so we are clear, this is what I mean by
• 13:17
Speaker 2: meeting somebody naturally like that, right, Like, I don't go
• 13:21
  Speaker 2: to weddings.
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: I don't.
• 13:21
Speaker 2: I'm not a makeup artist, nor do I ever. That
• 13:23
Speaker 2: was so traumatizing. I will never do it again. But
• 13:26
Speaker 2: I that's how you meet people.
• 13:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, no, I agree, I agree. I want
• 13:41
Speaker 1: to know. Like I said, we're halfway through the year
• 13:43
Speaker 1: at this moment, I want to know what kind of
• 13:47
Speaker 1: guy you are open to attracting into your life. I'm
• 13:52
Speaker 1: not gonna say the term looking for because we're not
• 13:55
Speaker 1: looking for anybody, but no, kind of man are you
• 13:59
Speaker 1: interested in attracting to you at this time? What kind
• 14:04
Speaker 1: of talk you about? Like material, no qualities, physical and
• 14:09
Speaker 1: personality wise? What are you looking for? What is what's
• 14:12
Speaker 1: getting your head to turn?
• 14:14
Speaker 2: You know how they say that you're attracted to your
• 14:16
Speaker 2: father or your dad.
• 14:17
Speaker 1: No, I don't believe in that sentiment.
• 14:19
Speaker 2: No, I definitely, especially if you've been abandoned by your father.
• 14:22
Speaker 2: And yeah, no, I believe in it. Like I tell you,
• 14:26
Speaker 2: every man I've dated seriously has been has especially my
• 14:30
  Speaker 2: ex husband.
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: Identified my father.
• 14:33
Speaker 2: Okay, But like I was saying my therapist, she's like,
• 14:37
Speaker 2: can we start attracting taller men?
• 14:40
Speaker 1: But it's so funny because the guy that.
• 14:44
Speaker 2: I actually liked to had the girlfriend was also a
• 14:47
  Speaker 2: surety shalloy listen?
• 14:50
Speaker 1: Short kings need the love to.
• 14:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, just put a couple platform heels in there and
• 14:55
  Speaker 2: look good.
• 14:56
Speaker 1: I like that you're do you, but also listen attract.
• 15:00
Speaker 2: That is just I'm not talking deep clearly right now.
• 15:02
Speaker 1: That is just straight up the distractions attraction, you know
• 15:05
Speaker 1: what I mean? For me, I might like make some
• 15:10
Speaker 1: people upset hearing this. In the ide part two world,
• 15:15
Speaker 1: I'm not really attracted to bold men. That's my thing, okay,
• 15:20
  Speaker 1: And I don't think that that is I don't just
• 15:26
Speaker 1: I don't want to say discriminate against bald men, but
• 15:29
Speaker 1: I don't. It's not what turns my head.
• 15:32
Speaker 2: Sorry, But what if you're stuck in a line during
• 15:35
Speaker 2: a wedding and you're doing you know, I have to
• 15:37
Speaker 2: tell you like I did lately, and I'm very proud
• 15:41
Speaker 2: of myself for this. It's not about oh, what do
• 15:43
Speaker 2: you look like? Then I'll talk to you. It's more like,
• 15:45
Speaker 2: let me like we're just naturally talking as to people
• 15:47
Speaker 2: who are being sat next to each other, do right then,
• 15:51
Speaker 2: and then like, oh, this is what you physically look like,
• 15:54
Speaker 2: you know, because it's like that's when I'm then if
• 15:57
Speaker 2: the conversation is interesting enough, then that's when I'll take
• 15:59
  Speaker 2: it up.
• 16:00
Speaker 1: Look right, yeah, I mean listen, yeah, you can be
• 16:03
  Speaker 1: as a track.
• 16:04
Speaker 2: What I'm just saying, what if a baldy and you
• 16:06
Speaker 2: had such a deep conversation. I mean.
• 16:11
Speaker 1: Sure, I mean, I look, there's always a Jason stathum right.
• 16:15
Speaker 2: Joy Lawrence doesn't your pickle, not not personally, but I
• 16:20
Speaker 2: just today, but in the nineties maybe yeah, but he
• 16:23
Speaker 2: wasn't bald then, correct, I know now he's bald, said,
• 16:27
Speaker 2: but maybe he would have taken off your pickle.
• 16:28
Speaker 1: There's always a Jason Statham who like, is really rocking
• 16:32
Speaker 1: the bald look right, and like that's a thing and
• 16:34
Speaker 1: that's hot that. Of course, there's exceptions to rules. It's
• 16:39
Speaker 1: always about kindness first.
• 16:40
Speaker 2: So you don't like you don't like the bald that
• 16:42
Speaker 2: is being forced to be bald.
• 16:44
  Speaker 1: I don't like receding hairline. I don't like you're real picky.
• 16:48
Speaker 2: Listen, so am I I love a girl that knows
• 16:51
Speaker 2: what you want personally.
• 16:53
  Speaker 1: I don't think that's picky. I think that you know,
• 16:56
Speaker 1: I think I think you talk to a man any
• 16:58
Speaker 1: day of the week and he's going to give you
• 17:00
Speaker 1: a laundry list of what turns his net for a woman.
• 17:04
Speaker 1: So me being able to name one thing that I'm
• 17:07
Speaker 1: not interested in, I really don't ari I do part two. People,
• 17:11
Speaker 1: if that like is offensive, I'm sure anybody that is
• 17:15
Speaker 1: dating somebody that is bald, it's like, that's great for you.
• 17:19
Speaker 1: It's just personally not what.
• 17:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, totally now never say never again. If your conversation
• 17:25
Speaker 2: is so sexy that all of a sudden you look
• 17:28
Speaker 2: up and or you did love is blind and he
• 17:30
  Speaker 2: was bald?
• 17:30
Speaker 1: Who knows? Or I'm fifty five and I'm still single
• 17:33
Speaker 1: and they're all bald. You know what I mean? Like,
• 17:35
Speaker 1: who's wrong with fifty five and single? I'm just adding years.
• 17:43
Speaker 1: I want to know what your.
• 17:45
Speaker 2: This is a dual conversation. Okay, yeah, because one hundred
• 17:48
Speaker 2: percent you're not interviewing me. This is not what we
• 17:50
Speaker 2: agree with. I am, we're catching up.
• 17:53
Speaker 1: I'm not in the market. What why are you taken? No,
• 17:58
Speaker 1: your girl is way too damaged right now to be
• 18:02
Speaker 1: getting in. That doesn't mean we can't have the conversation. Sure,
• 18:07
Speaker 1: I mean, listen for me. In my local area, I've
• 18:11
Speaker 1: said this so many times. I lived by a Whole
• 18:14
Speaker 1: Foods that gets a lot of traction. You don't instacart.
• 18:18
Speaker 1: I do my instacart and it's by the beach. And
• 18:23
Speaker 1: the first time I went in there. I was shocked
• 18:28
Speaker 1: at how many men I saw at the grocery store.
• 18:31
Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever seen that many men before
• 18:34
Speaker 1: at one grocery store. Single young men, I don't know
• 18:37
Speaker 1: it's single, but that amount of men at the grocery store, Oh,
• 18:41
Speaker 1: I've never seen it before. And it's every time I
• 18:43
Speaker 1: go there, every time. Who I should go to your
• 18:47
Speaker 1: grocery store if I ever go. But I'm just saying, like,
• 18:51
Speaker 1: I know that there's guys out there. It's right now,
• 18:55
Speaker 1: like I'm coming across so many right when I'm out
• 18:58
Speaker 1: in the world. Nothing is resonating with me right now.
• 19:04
Speaker 1: Are they flirting with you? No? No, No, I'm not
• 19:06
Speaker 1: talking to anybody, are they? No? No, Literally, the light
• 19:12
Speaker 1: bulb is off, like my tax serial.
• 19:14
Speaker 2: Light is off, and it is like, do not come
• 19:17
  Speaker 2: near me?
• 19:18
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I listen, do I I don't think I'm giving
• 19:21
Speaker 1: like RBF like everywhere I'm walking. But it's just I
• 19:26
Speaker 1: know that I'm not putting out the signal that I'm interested.
• 19:30
Speaker 1: But you that is true.
• 19:31
Speaker 2: No, No, that is very but that is very true.
• 19:33
Speaker 2: By the way, we're all energy. So yeah, I was
• 19:36
  Speaker 2: on that trains.
• 19:37
Speaker 1: I can tell right now in our conversation that you're
• 19:40
Speaker 1: putting out the signal, you're putting out the energy right now.
• 19:44
Speaker 2: Yep, yeah, I mean if it happens, it happens. Now,
• 19:47
Speaker 2: this is what I don't want. Are we ready tell.
• 19:49
Speaker 1: Me what you do want? I want to be positive?
• 19:51
Speaker 2: No yeah, no, no, no, because I don't know necessarily I
• 19:54
  Speaker 2: can tell you what I don't want. I don't think
• 19:56
Speaker 2: I can tell you what I want to.
• 19:58
Speaker 1: Okay, get it sure like.
• 20:00
  Speaker 2: I think it's a mix. Now, this is what I
• 20:02
  Speaker 2: don't want because I I am. I don't want anybody
• 20:06
Speaker 2: with the track record of cheating.
• 20:08
  Speaker 1: I think that's fair.
• 20:09
Speaker 2: I don't know if I want somebody in the entertainment industry.
• 20:12
Speaker 2: I'm leaning towards now.
• 20:14
Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna say no one's asking im. Okay, I'm
• 20:20
Speaker 1: gonna say, as somebody that knows you that I think
• 20:23
Speaker 1: that you don't need another entertainer. Yeah, I think you
• 20:29
Speaker 1: still need somebody star. I don't need that that's still entertainment.
• 20:33
Speaker 1: I think that you need someone entertainment adjacent. I could
• 20:37
Speaker 1: see you being with a talent agent or a talent.
• 20:42
Speaker 2: Maybe yes, yes, yes, or an an entertainment attorney. Yes,
• 20:47
Speaker 2: even better that was my first and last date.
• 20:49
Speaker 1: Remember oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm just saying like
• 20:54
Speaker 1: that to me. Is it creates commonality in a yes,
• 20:59
Speaker 1: I agree, But all so, I do believe the sentiment
• 21:03
Speaker 1: a lot of times when you hear people say there
• 21:05
Speaker 1: can only be like one star in the relationship, and
• 21:08
Speaker 1: I really do think that. I do believe that you
• 21:10
Speaker 1: are the star when you're in a relationship with somebody.
• 21:13
  Speaker 1: That's that is so true. Well, actually I wouldn't. I
• 21:16
Speaker 1: wouldn't help. Stars can change and have different times. But you,
• 21:22
Speaker 1: right now in this chapter of your life, you are
• 21:25
Speaker 1: the star. And you if you were to get into
• 21:28
Speaker 1: a partnership with somebody tomorrow, they would need to be
• 21:31
Speaker 1: supportive of that star right now in this chapter.
• 21:35
Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, because like it's exhausting, if it's competitive.
• 21:39
Speaker 1: You can't be in competition with your partner for the spotlight.
• 21:42
Speaker 1: That will never work. That's why they say opposites attract
• 21:45
Speaker 1: in that sense. And this is why I gravitated towards
• 21:48
Speaker 1: the quiet guy at the wedding. I fully get that,
• 21:51
Speaker 1: CHERYLD And I will tell you why I have never
• 21:54
Speaker 1: been attracted to the alpha male. I have. It's so weird,
• 21:57
Speaker 1: but never dated one always told people I am attracted
• 22:02
Speaker 1: to quiet confidence, and I tend to like a more
• 22:09
Speaker 1: subdued energy because I've dated the shot shots guy and
• 22:16
Speaker 1: the everybody party guy, and it's like, I don't like
• 22:18
Speaker 1: that guy. I don't like it.
• 22:20
Speaker 2: So funny that you say that, because I actually, initially
• 22:23
Speaker 2: I think I'm attracted to them. I never end up
• 22:26
Speaker 2: with them. One but two, I have only started recently
• 22:30
Speaker 2: appreciating the quiet The only confidence. By the way, there's
• 22:33
Speaker 2: only one way, and it's the quiet one. There really is,
• 22:36
Speaker 2: because the loud confidence is not so I could fight
• 22:39
  Speaker 2: anybody about it.
• 22:40
Speaker 1: That's not confidence to me. I hear that. I agree
• 22:45
Speaker 1: with that. For me, I'm I'm really mellow in real life,
• 22:51
Speaker 1: you know, outside of work, I do not like to
• 22:56
Speaker 1: be in the mix, and so like a quiet energy
• 23:01
Speaker 1: is more what I tend to gravit towards too. Now,
• 23:04
Speaker 1: the problem with a quiet energy is they don't always
• 23:07
Speaker 1: make those first moves right, especially in the dating scene.
• 23:11
Speaker 1: It can be really hard sometimes for them to make
• 23:13
Speaker 1: the move. And personally, I've had to in anything that
• 23:19
Speaker 1: I've been in that's been substantial, I've made those first moves.
• 23:24
Speaker 1: And what's wrong with that? Well, now, in my reflective
• 23:28
Speaker 1: chapter that I'm in at this time, I'm wondering if
• 23:31
Speaker 1: I've ever been hoarded, and I don't think I have. Interesting.
• 23:36
Speaker 1: It's really difficult because so.
• 23:37
Speaker 2: It's not you mean on a deeper level like then
• 23:41
Speaker 2: not necessarily a physical like I guess reported meaning like
• 23:45
Speaker 2: making plans going out, like to dinner, him paying for it,
• 23:49
Speaker 2: him opening your door.
• 23:50
Speaker 1: No, that's happened. I'm talking about initial first moves. I'm
• 23:54
Speaker 1: now in the play Cheryl in my head where I'm
• 23:57
Speaker 1: looking back at everything in the rear view, and I'm thinking,
• 24:01
Speaker 1: did that person actually ever want to be with me?
• 24:04
Speaker 1: They never initiated the early stages of the relationship I did.
• 24:10
Speaker 1: Did I interesting? Somebody that was like open to it
• 24:16
Speaker 1: but like not really in it? It changes for you, Cheryl.
• 24:21
Speaker 1: Every day for me is a new trauma. But I
• 24:25
Speaker 1: are you in therapy? Yes, yes, Cheryl, yes, yes, yes,
• 24:29
Speaker 1: But I want to know. Okay, so we know that
• 24:32
Speaker 1: you don't want an entertainer. We know that you No,
• 24:35
  Speaker 1: I never said that. I didn't say I don't want.
• 24:37
  Speaker 2: I said I don't think I want, meaning like I
• 24:40
Speaker 2: keep going back and forth.
• 24:41
Speaker 1: Now again, if he is in.
• 24:43
Speaker 2: My zeitgeist, and we do have great communication and we
• 24:48
Speaker 2: have great conversations and there's an attraction. I'm not going
• 24:51
Speaker 2: to be like, oh sorry, yeah, I can't do it,
• 24:54
Speaker 2: you know, Like I'm just saying from what I did
• 24:56
Speaker 2: it again, this is all on the surface stuff like
• 24:59
Speaker 2: look at the end end of the day, I mean,
• 25:02
Speaker 2: this is why for me to is like be like
• 25:05
Speaker 2: a tall dark browd hair like it's just so miniscule
• 25:10
Speaker 2: as to what I really I really want to partner.
• 25:12
Speaker 2: I want somebody who balances We can balance each other out,
• 25:16
Speaker 2: but we still say as two individuals that is so
• 25:19
Speaker 2: important to me and that someone I need somebody that
• 25:22
Speaker 2: can also put me in my place sometimes because I
• 25:24
Speaker 2: can get you know, a little like whoa over bearing
• 25:28
Speaker 2: sometimes but not in a rude way, in a way
• 25:31
  Speaker 2: where it's quiet, it's it's secure. It doesn't make me
• 25:34
Speaker 2: feel abandoned. It makes me feel like, first of all,
• 25:37
Speaker 2: nobody can make me feel anything, right.
• 25:39
Speaker 1: So I'm going to.
• 25:39
Speaker 2: Continue doing the work. But like he needs to be
• 25:43
Speaker 2: so like stable and confident that in a way where
• 25:47
Speaker 2: it complements the work that I'm going to continue to
• 25:49
Speaker 2: do for the rest of my life. And that's all
• 25:51
Speaker 2: I can say because it's so deep, it goes deeper,
• 25:55
  Speaker 2: what about.
• 25:55
Speaker 1: Like financial stability at this stame, But that's all again
• 25:58
Speaker 1: that is just seeing on yes, yes, yes, all of it.
• 26:02
Speaker 1: I think that to me, Cheryl as somebody who you've done.
• 26:05
Speaker 2: So, but that's not what's gonna be like my very
• 26:08
Speaker 2: first conversation with the person, right like, either we're gonna talk,
• 26:12
Speaker 2: We're either gonna connect or we're not like whoever it is.
• 26:15
Speaker 2: And this is what I've also realized, no setting updates
• 26:18
Speaker 2: like I can't. This is what makes me not act
• 26:22
Speaker 2: authentic and what I know for sure makes the other
• 26:25
Speaker 2: person sing weird like for sure. And it's like if
• 26:28
Speaker 2: we meet in a group setting, like and this is
• 26:30
Speaker 2: why this wedding thing happened so great, like it was
• 26:33
Speaker 2: I mean in my head, but it was just like
• 26:35
Speaker 2: no pressure, there's no freaking pressure. We were there doing
• 26:38
Speaker 2: the same activities, but we were just there supporting the
• 26:42
Speaker 2: people we love, right like, and yeah, there wasn't the
• 26:45
Speaker 2: weird Let's go to pot Jay and I'm gonna end
• 26:48
Speaker 2: up not knowing what to order and then I'm gonna
• 26:50
Speaker 2: order what you have, Like there's none of that.
• 26:52
Speaker 1: It's just being weird. That's weird. Yeah, no, no, no,
• 26:56
Speaker 1: you kind of got my wheels turning though. Now, Cheryl,
• 26:59
Speaker 1: I want to know, out of curiosity, do you ever,
• 27:02
Speaker 1: like played pickleball or my mom does? Your mom does? Okay,
• 27:08
Speaker 1: she's not single. Have you ever outside of dance? Have
• 27:12
Speaker 1: you ever done like anything kind of athletic or sports
• 27:16
Speaker 1: like outside of dance?
• 27:17
Speaker 2: You realize that I was like the MVP of my
• 27:20
  Speaker 2: basketball team? Right?
• 27:22
Speaker 1: Oh wait what No? I did not know this, but
• 27:25
Speaker 1: I'm just very act.
• 27:26
Speaker 2: My mom put me everything girl, like I went to
• 27:29
Speaker 2: tennis Stanford Tennis camp every freaking summer, like it was
• 27:33
Speaker 2: I was going to be a professional tennis player.
• 27:35
Speaker 1: Cheryl, So you can play tennis, which means I know
• 27:37
Speaker 1: what pickleball is. I know. I want to know, though.
• 27:42
Speaker 1: What I think is kind of cute about pickleball is
• 27:45
Speaker 1: it falls you know, say, I got competitive, We're trying
• 27:48
Speaker 1: to win. Okay, I love that. But what I think,
• 27:51
Speaker 1: as a non athlete, which is kind of cute about
• 27:55
Speaker 1: pickleball is it falls into that tennis category of like
• 27:59
Speaker 1: the theme outfit attire, like that whole part of it.
• 28:03
Speaker 1: You don't care and somebody who likes to make up
• 28:07
Speaker 1: and wears cute outfits and does cute videos. That is
• 28:10
Speaker 1: not something you like, I will I do I do now?
• 28:13
Speaker 1: But back then I was like, I'm gonna be Serena Williams. No,
• 28:16
Speaker 1: we're talking now. We're talking about the present day if
• 28:19
Speaker 1: you were to come. Okay, So here, I'm gonna just
• 28:21
Speaker 1: I'm just gonna rip the back.
• 28:23
Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, this is is this the big reveal, This
• 28:26
Speaker 2: is the big reut to commercial.
• 28:27
Speaker 1: We're cutting to commercial first. So we're doing a really
• 28:42
Speaker 1: fun Pickaball event in Tahoe next month, and honest, I
• 28:49
Speaker 1: Do Part two is gonna be there. So we thought, Okay,
• 28:54
Speaker 1: Cheryl's gonna be there. Who else from some of the
• 28:57
Speaker 1: you know, other fun kind of podcast that we do
• 29:00
Speaker 1: are going to be there? And then I had this
• 29:03
Speaker 1: really great idea because we had this really amazing guy
• 29:09
Speaker 1: on I Do Part two a couple of weeks ago,
• 29:12
Speaker 1: and I'm I'm going to just say there are some
• 29:15
Speaker 1: like cute, like little similarities that I'm noticing. First of all,
• 29:19
Speaker 1: first and foremost, how solicy I actually don't know that
• 29:25
Speaker 1: over my head, but I will tell you this, if
• 29:27
Speaker 1: you're where to goes what I really like about him
• 29:30
Speaker 1: and the possibility of you two getting.
• 29:33
Speaker 2: Along, like becoming friends.
• 29:35
Speaker 1: I said getting along. I didn't say anything else, like,
• 29:38
Speaker 1: well friends. First, he talked about doing the work, and
• 29:44
Speaker 1: I know that that's important to you and has been.
• 29:48
Speaker 1: Your journey is about being open talking about doing the work.
• 29:52
Speaker 1: So that to me. So he is divorced, and it's
• 29:58
Speaker 1: he does have two kids. Hold on, I'm gonna text
• 30:01
  Speaker 1: you his Instagram.
• 30:03
Speaker 2: Don't worry, I already did it. You're following, by the way, ps,
• 30:06
Speaker 2: we're following each other.
• 30:10
Speaker 1: I love it. You're stupid, surprised you and your surprise.
• 30:13
Speaker 2: Maybe I should have gone with it because I couldn't
• 30:15
Speaker 2: anymore because I was like, this is the wait, don't
• 30:17
Speaker 2: we're following each other already?
• 30:18
Speaker 1: Wait? I love this so obviously, Listeners, we are talking
• 30:21
Speaker 1: about JP Rosenbaum, who was recently on the podcast. If
• 30:25
Speaker 1: you didn't listen to that episode, definitely go back and
• 30:28
Speaker 1: get a therapy session about him. Okay, but what I
• 30:32
Speaker 1: like about him, Cheryl and the possibility of there being
• 30:37
Speaker 1: a nice, you know, commonality between you two is one
• 30:43
Speaker 1: about how much growth he talked about on the pod
• 30:45
Speaker 1: about after his divorce and what that's been like for
• 30:49
Speaker 1: him personally but also in his co parenting relationship. I
• 30:54
Speaker 1: thought was really really cool. And then second of all,
• 30:57
  Speaker 1: I don't know you. I don't know if you saw
• 30:59
Speaker 1: he's making headlines in this last week with his ex
• 31:03
Speaker 1: wife Ashley, because they just went on a really amazing
• 31:07
Speaker 1: family vacation with my kids and it was just the
• 31:11
Speaker 1: two of them, it looked like with their kids, and
• 31:14
Speaker 1: they were like posting and sharing about it, and it
• 31:16
Speaker 1: was just like really cool to see two parents that.
• 31:22
Speaker 1: I mean, you and I are both products of like
• 31:25
Speaker 1: you know, divorce and stuff like, and we know what
• 31:27
Speaker 1: that can be like growing up as kids. But we
• 31:30
Speaker 1: went on family vacations, though you did. I did not know.
• 31:33
Speaker 2: Well, we went to go visit my father at a
• 31:35
Speaker 2: strip clubs vacation, So I don't know how much that
• 31:38
Speaker 2: would be considered as a vacation.
• 31:40
Speaker 1: Family friendly or like a vacation does not Disneyland. I
• 31:44
Speaker 1: don't have those kinds of memories with my parents, and
• 31:47
Speaker 1: I think that that's something that's really respectable. Yes, And
• 31:52
Speaker 1: I think it's also a really good testament of being
• 31:55
Speaker 1: able to check the ego right, because that's a huge
• 31:59
Speaker 1: part is like he talked about how his ex wife
• 32:02
Speaker 1: is already in a relationship, and at first that shit,
• 32:06
Speaker 1: oh she's been yeah, because they've been divorced for like
• 32:08
Speaker 1: over four years now. Oh wow, yeah, so it's been
• 32:11
Speaker 1: a minute. He also said some really nice and respectable
• 32:14
Speaker 1: things about his wife, you know, new partner, and because
• 32:19
Speaker 1: that person is around his kids and stuff like that,
• 32:22
Speaker 1: you know, he's really really even keeled. So I really
• 32:25
Speaker 1: like that first and foremost even keed. How do you know,
• 32:29
Speaker 1: just because I think a man that is able to
• 32:32
Speaker 1: openly talk about that experience and have humility and grace
• 32:36
Speaker 1: when talking about their ex I think speaks volumes. That's
• 32:40
Speaker 1: what I mean. It didn't sound contentious, it didn't sound angry,
• 32:43
Speaker 1: it didn't sound dismissive. It sounded really nice, mature and yes,
• 32:48
Speaker 1: and like somebody like he said that don't work, you know,
• 32:51
  Speaker 1: so yes, great.
• 32:53
Speaker 2: Yeah, and the fact that he has kids obviously is
• 32:56
Speaker 2: very it's good that that happens. You don't want people,
• 32:59
Speaker 2: you know, I've been witness to people catching each other
• 33:03
Speaker 2: when kids are around, and it's not necessarily the best environment.
• 33:06
Speaker 1: So you guys are following each other.
• 33:08
Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because we've had this discussion. Hey, hey, I
• 33:13
Speaker 2: do Part two. Folks, this is no surprise. I can't
• 33:17
Speaker 2: be surprised, as you know that. But anyway, since you
• 33:20
Speaker 2: mentioned his name, and since I got that lovely group text,
• 33:24
Speaker 2: of course, don't you know who you're talking to? I
• 33:27
Speaker 2: might as well be a private investigator.
• 33:29
Speaker 1: I mean, I love that. But like when we look
• 33:31
Speaker 1: at his Instagram, like, what do we haven't looked at
• 33:34
Speaker 1: it yet. I just started.
• 33:36
Speaker 2: I just pressed the follow button. Okay, it doesn't mean
• 33:38
  Speaker 2: I'm scrolling.
• 33:40
Speaker 1: Can you look at it right now while you're on
• 33:42
Speaker 1: here with me. I can't really focus. I'm so bad
• 33:45
Speaker 1: at this. Okay, fine, as long as I can. I
• 33:47
Speaker 1: just want to know what your overall gland. What do
• 33:50
Speaker 1: you want me to look at? Specifically? Just look at
• 33:52
Speaker 1: his page and like what do you oh, you mean
• 33:54
Speaker 1: the aesthetic I can't do it aesthetic because his aesthetic is.
• 33:58
Speaker 1: I love that he's Jewish. I'm Jewish, you know that, right?
• 34:01
Speaker 2: I don't know I'm fifty four percent or no, sorry,
• 34:05
Speaker 2: fifty three percent Osazi. Didn't know that My father lied
• 34:08
Speaker 2: to me this whole time. Okay, rest in peace, my
• 34:12
  Speaker 2: Jewish father.
• 34:13
Speaker 1: Do you love the fact that he's like, look, he's
• 34:17
Speaker 1: on a boat like he lives in Miami.
• 34:19
Speaker 2: Okay, so well, no, if there's a connection in the woman,
• 34:22
Speaker 2: I shake this mean's hand. Okay, this is just all here,
• 34:25
Speaker 2: This is all great, book great. You know, I don't
• 34:27
Speaker 2: want someone to judge me off my happy Instagram either,
• 34:30
Speaker 2: Like this is not the real me what you see
• 34:32
  Speaker 2: on my Instagram.
• 34:34
Speaker 1: Okay, my god, he looks like my dad.
• 34:35
Speaker 2: He looks like my dad. He just looks like my
• 34:37
Speaker 2: father a little bit. He looks a little bit like
• 34:39
Speaker 2: my dad. I don't know what to say other than
• 34:41
Speaker 2: I clearly still have daddy issues. Jesus, Jesus, Yeah, he
• 34:46
Speaker 2: looks like my father. He really does look like my dad. Here,
• 34:49
Speaker 2: I'm not joking, not even a little bit.
• 34:52
Speaker 1: Sure, I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding.
• 34:55
Speaker 2: Okay, that doesn't mean I mean that means if anything, Oh,
• 34:59
Speaker 2: I got a chance. I can't do that whole Instagram thing.
• 35:02
Speaker 2: It really is just so it's like small talk. It's nasty.
• 35:08
Speaker 1: Let me say this clearly, by looking at the instagram.
• 35:11
Speaker 1: Right with the instagram, we know that he's a dad.
• 35:14
Speaker 1: We know that he's a dad Jewish and looks like
• 35:16
Speaker 1: my daddy. And so right off, right off the rit
• 35:20
Speaker 1: from that, have you ever dated a single dad? Is
• 35:24
Speaker 1: that something that you know? Have you ever dreamed of
• 35:28
Speaker 1: or thought of yourself being a stepmom?
• 35:31
Speaker 2: By the way, kids, well, I love that he has kids.
• 35:34
Speaker 2: Like that has nothing to do with anything. I mean, honestly,
• 35:37
  Speaker 2: it's yeah, no, I don't. I always said that it
• 35:40
Speaker 2: would be great to have somebody who has already had
• 35:42
Speaker 2: the kids, because then I won't have the pressure of
• 35:44
Speaker 2: trying to have one or whatever it is. You know.
• 35:47
Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, cool, So it's not a turn off. I
• 35:50
Speaker 1: like that. Nothing has been a turnoff yet. Cool. I
• 35:54
  Speaker 1: like that.
• 35:54
Speaker 2: That's like, how optimistic I am.
• 35:57
Speaker 1: So what I'm what We're ski.
• 36:00
Speaker 2: No, we're not doing anything. You're just don't live and
• 36:02
Speaker 2: get back down to earth. Okay, this is just two
• 36:04
Speaker 2: people that are single that you think would be a
• 36:08
  Speaker 2: good match.
• 36:08
Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it is. We're having this fun pickleball
• 36:11
Speaker 1: event in tom and there's going to be a lot
• 36:16
Speaker 1: of other people there.
• 36:18
Speaker 2: A lot of other people. Like was this guy at
• 36:20
Speaker 2: the bat I don't watch The Bachelor?
• 36:21
Speaker 1: Was he a bachelor? So he won the bachelorette so
• 36:26
Speaker 1: he wasn't the Bachelor? No, so he went on it.
• 36:29
  Speaker 1: Ashley season.
• 36:31
  Speaker 2: He it he.
• 36:33
Speaker 1: Married her, and the season was that, Oh my gosh,
• 36:36
Speaker 1: like five or something wow, like years ago, like twenty eleven,
• 36:42
Speaker 1: twenty twelve, oh or even before that. It's like, what
• 36:45
Speaker 1: does he do now? So he's a real estate developer
• 36:48
  Speaker 1: in Miami.
• 36:49
Speaker 2: Interesting stick in he lives in Miami.
• 36:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, so he didn't. He didn't stick into the reality
• 36:58
Speaker 1: TV world. I like that.
• 36:59
  Speaker 2: I like it.
• 37:00
Speaker 1: I like it he was a one and done kind
• 37:02
Speaker 1: of guy. I also love that he lives on the
• 37:03
Speaker 1: opposite side of Also, I kind of like that he's
• 37:08
Speaker 1: like in a beach and it's like, you know, I'm
• 37:13
Speaker 1: not getting ahead of myself, but I'm just no, I'm
• 37:17
Speaker 1: just saying that I think you should come to Tahoe.
• 37:22
Speaker 1: You should come to this pickleball event. Yes, I will
• 37:25
Speaker 1: if I'm available. Yes, And it's just a group thing.
• 37:29
Speaker 1: And I also, now that you've told me you are
• 37:31
Speaker 1: basically a tennis star, I feel like you need to.
• 37:35
Speaker 2: We're not announcing this, We're not gonna do you understand.
• 37:37
Speaker 2: I was in seventh grade, like, don't you dare.
• 37:41
Speaker 1: No, I'm just saying I feel like it's time to
• 37:44
Speaker 1: wear a cute outfit. It's summertime and you're gonna show
• 37:47
  Speaker 1: me what's up times. I don't play tennis, I don't
• 37:50
Speaker 1: play pickleball. But anyways, it's got to shave it from Zara.
• 37:53
Speaker 1: It's in, it's in, it arrived. We've got to open
• 37:56
Speaker 1: the box. I'll leave you. I'll leave you with this.
• 37:59
Speaker 1: If anything that I feel like you and I have
• 38:02
Speaker 1: kind of learned in this last year is maybe to
• 38:05
Speaker 1: be a little bit more like our friend Kelly ben Simone.
• 38:08
Speaker 2: I love Kelly and just have fun, you know, hold on,
• 38:12
Speaker 2: I just need to ask, well, I mean, i'll ask her,
• 38:14
Speaker 2: but what what's the status of her and her dating life?
• 38:20
Speaker 1: I think she's just you know, having fun. A lot
• 38:24
Speaker 1: of these guys and she'll say this too, a lot
• 38:26
Speaker 1: of these guys have either dated somebody that she knows
• 38:31
Speaker 1: or you know, somebody that she was on TV with.
• 38:34
Speaker 1: And it's like, I understand, the pool gets really small
• 38:37
Speaker 1: when you get to be a certain age. That's another thing.
• 38:41
Speaker 1: But you know, she's gorgeous and she doesn't need to
• 38:45
Speaker 1: just be dating guys in New York. She could broaden
• 38:48
Speaker 1: the scope and like not be dating people that dated
• 38:50
Speaker 1: her co stars. And does she know that though maybe
• 38:53
Speaker 1: it's all in her. You know. Maybe you can tell
• 38:55
Speaker 1: her that when you guys talk, well I do, I
• 38:58
Speaker 1: do tell her. Yeah, I just think I'll leave you
• 39:01
Speaker 1: with that. Let's just maybe take a place, you know,
• 39:03
Speaker 1: out of Kelly ben Simone's book and just yes fun
• 39:06
Speaker 1: and go to this pickleball event. So I just love
• 39:10
Speaker 1: catching up with you today, Cheryl. This was so fun.
• 39:12
Speaker 1: I loved hearing just about that things are getting your
• 39:18
Speaker 1: attention now because I just think, like six months ago,
• 39:21
Speaker 1: you weren't talking like this. So I just like, I
• 39:25
Speaker 1: like this conversation today. Well, thank you, and you know
• 39:28
  Speaker 1: what did.
• 39:29
Speaker 2: Oh for sure going to take a play out of
• 39:32
Speaker 2: fellow mentor Kelly ben Simon's playbook and just see what
• 39:35
Speaker 2: happens because you never know. And of course we're going
• 39:38
Speaker 2: to keep you guys posted on the pickleball events. My
• 39:42
Speaker 2: mom is going to be so proud.
• 39:45
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 39:45
Speaker 2: So if you're ready to date again, maybe you are,
• 39:47
Speaker 2: maybe you're not, and you're just not exactly sure where
• 39:51
