- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Amount advertising a seller's listing on their social media.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: And I see this happening a lot.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: In fact, I have some advertising and marketing platforms that make this very easy.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: Basically, I'll input the listing into the MLS with all the fancy bells and whistles, and then I have a script or something that I can copy and paste, email to my seller, and then say, hey, post this on all your social media, showing all your friends and relatives and neighbors, everybody you're connected with, that your house is up for sale.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: I don't do that.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: It's very simply with my law enforcement background and the way that I see how people are, sometimes people aren't really happy for you being successful.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: People really, most people sell houses because they're making something, making some kind of a move.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: And usually when they're selling real estate, it's not a break-even prospect and it's also a not in debt prospect.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Usually, if they get to a point where they're needing to sell their house because they can't afford it anymore, usually, at least in this market with so much equity, that's how it is.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: So they're going to at least have something to walk away with.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: And again, taking that listing, putting it all over your social media is only going to advertise your agent.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: So if I was having somebody come to me and pitch me, hey, listen, I want to get all your social media so I can post this listing that you've entrusted me to take for you.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: I said, all right, it's going to cost you$1,000 or$1,500 or$2,000.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Whatever you having all of your real estate with your name, agents contact information, email, all that stuff, what is that worth to you?
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: What is that data?
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: What should that data be worth to you?
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: And if I'm going to do this, I would definitely be prepared to pay for it.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: I have my own social media that's real estate related.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: I have Santa ClaritaOpenhouses.com.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: I have a lot of other very respectable properties that I'm able to market and advertise my sellers' listings on.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: And I do not need to put my information and their house on their own social.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: If they want to say their house is for sale, that's great.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: If they want to say, hey, contact Connor, that's wonderful.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: But I see a lot of cases that a lot of sellers are buying into this fact for free that they're going to now advertise their agent to all of their friends and relatives and folks in this world, things cost money, including that.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: So don't defeat yourself and do not think that you're not respectable enough to be able to demand a fee or an agent advertising your home listing to your social media, to your friends.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: I'm Connor with Honor.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: I'm going to get some hate for this, but enjoy it.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: Be well.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: We'll talk to you soon.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Over and out.
