- 0:44SPEAKER_03: Appreciate that.
- 0:45SPEAKER_03: Uh he brings a lot of quality content to this podcast.
- 0:47SPEAKER_03: He's gonna ruffle a lot of feathers.
- 0:49SPEAKER_03: That's what he's good for.
- 0:50SPEAKER_03: Um He's not a worldly guy.
- 0:52SPEAKER_03: He's of the book.
- 0:53SPEAKER_03: He knows what's going on.
- 0:55SPEAKER_03: He's the leader of the new school, the new era.
- 0:58SPEAKER_03: I personally think that this guy's gonna bring upon the revolution that black people need.
- 1:02SPEAKER_03: He doesn't like these praises, he thinks it's too much, but uh gotta be honest, gotta be honest.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Um I'm just a man like we all have a responsibility.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: Humble servant.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: I understand.
- 1:13SPEAKER_03: He brought us some uh some wine.
- 1:16SPEAKER_03: Yes, sir.
- 1:16SPEAKER_03: So uh water.
- 1:18SPEAKER_03: Yes, water, I'm sorry.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Water can be turned into wine.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: No, that's a whole other subject.
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: This is good.
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: These are good uh quality uh conversations.
- 1:26SPEAKER_03: But um, first I want to ask you guys how your weekends were.
- 1:30SPEAKER_04: Um honestly, it was okay.
- 1:32SPEAKER_04: Nothing amazing.
- 1:33SPEAKER_04: I just frightened it.
- 1:35SPEAKER_04: It was shitty.
- 1:36SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Um Godfrey, how was your uh?
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: I had a good weekend, actually.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Um I don't celebrate Halloween, but I did go out to meet a wonderful young lady, and I had a good one.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: It's really weird for me.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: On Halloween.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, it wasn't Halloween to me.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: I don't celebrate that.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: So it was a it was a date, it was a date.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Um you can call it that, yeah.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: You know, when you first encounter, I normally call it a date um because I don't believe in like overspending on a first date.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: You don't know her.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: So it was just a meetup.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: So if you pay, I didn't pay though.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: Oh, no, that's right.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: That's one of them.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: If you pay it today.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: If you pay us a date.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: She tried to pay though, which I appreciated.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's what's up.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Nah, don't do that.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Put your card away.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Nah, she ain't.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: I'm letting her pay.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: She's pump fake.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: You know how we're gonna do it.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: I'm letting her pay.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: But she followed.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: It was a good pump fake, though.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Like put the card out and everything, and I was like, nah.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: That's good.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: It was a D-Wade pump fake.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Like I was in there for a second.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: That's a good idea.
- 2:29SPEAKER_03: That's dope.
- 2:30SPEAKER_03: You know, um, I think that uh this is probably the hardest generation to date.
- 2:35SPEAKER_03: Like, I I don't I'm I'm out the game, allegedly.
- 2:39SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 2:44SPEAKER_03: I just know that this is a hard generation, so I give out all my hats, hats off to all the dudes out here that are you know trying to find a woman in this uh climate.
- 2:55SPEAKER_03: Stay strong, be soldiers.
- 2:56SPEAKER_03: Hold your free.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna tell y'all about my weekend since Toon doesn't feel like doing it.
- 3:01SPEAKER_03: So I don't know about y'all.
- 3:03SPEAKER_03: I'm like Godfrey.
- 3:04SPEAKER_03: I don't really celebrate Halloween in the terms of worshiping idols of death of death.
- 3:11SPEAKER_03: But I participate in the holiday and like I just celebrate for what it is.
- 3:16SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, like I I dressed my son up, I decorated the house, kids came over, trick or treat.
- 3:20SPEAKER_03: I think it's real.
- 3:21SPEAKER_03: It's a pretty wholesome holiday when you look at it outside of the history.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: The history of it.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, which is hard to do.
- 3:27SPEAKER_03: You know, if once you're yeah, once you're knowledgeable of it, it's kind of hard to not see see what it is.
- 3:32SPEAKER_03: Uh see see it whatever.
- 3:35SPEAKER_03: Anyway, so yeah, I'm having one of those days.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: So I definitely participate because you know I like scantily dressed women, not gonna lie.
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 3:43SPEAKER_03: Um it's the only time of the year that that's accepted outside of the strip club.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: So it's like the strip club has come into my world.
- 3:50SPEAKER_03: So that's the best way to describe it, honestly.
- 3:53SPEAKER_03: The strip has come to you.
- 3:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
- 3:55SPEAKER_04: Halloween parties do be the littest.
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: I ain't gonna be like, I think, I think Halloween, Halloween parties should be the greatest parties, but unfortunately, COVID has destroyed my city.
- 4:03SPEAKER_03: Like I was literally gonna shed a tear for New York.
- 4:06SPEAKER_03: I was like, I feel like I'm in Nebraska.
- 4:08SPEAKER_03: Like I couldn't find nowhere to go.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: Like, can you a Saturday forget Halloween?
- 4:11SPEAKER_03: It's a Saturday night in New York City, and I could not find a place to enjoy Halloween.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: We're a fall city, like we didn't.
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: Yo, this is this.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: This is the season.
- 4:23SPEAKER_03: This is where we get off.
- 4:24SPEAKER_03: This is when everybody's outside.
- 4:26SPEAKER_03: The summertime, you know, there's a hundred other things to do.
- 4:28SPEAKER_03: So our parties, we're not really a summer city party, summer party, city, whatever.
- 4:32SPEAKER_03: Um, but the winter, fall, that's when everybody congregates indoors to, you know, get get wow.
- 4:38SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 4:39SPEAKER_03: And the city, like I was gonna cry last night, and I was like, yo, because I love New York City.
- 4:44SPEAKER_03: If you listen to me on this podcast, I champion the city.
- 4:46SPEAKER_03: This is the greatest city of all time.
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: I don't care what y'all talking about.
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: Rome, fuck that place.
- 4:51SPEAKER_03: This is the greatest city of all time.
- 4:54SPEAKER_03: Fuck that place.
- 4:54SPEAKER_03: There's not gay shit going on.
- 4:56SPEAKER_03: There's gay shit here too, but they was wild.
- 5:00SPEAKER_03: Why are you just slaying the city that's not even around now?
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: We're gonna be around.
- 5:04SPEAKER_03: New York.
- 5:05SPEAKER_03: They're gonna have to just change it to New York soon.
- 5:07SPEAKER_03: They're gonna remove the new.
- 5:09SPEAKER_03: But um, yeah, man, like it was so bad.
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: Like, I was like, damn, like, oh man, like I don't COVID has literally destroyed New York.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: And it it sucks, man.
- 5:21SPEAKER_03: Like, I it's really yeah, it's it's ridiculous.
- 5:24SPEAKER_03: But the question I propose to you two can we bounce back?
- 5:28SPEAKER_03: Do we bounce back?
- 5:30SPEAKER_03: How do we bounce back?
- 5:31SPEAKER_03: Is that even a possible thing?
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: New York City can definitely bounce back.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: New York City, like, this is the financial hub of the planet.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: Um we have the most diverse, like the most diversity on the planet, and um people want this place to thrive at the end of the day.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: So for me, like I see the city coming back, depending on you know how where the future goes, pending election and all that.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: But I see New York City bouncing back 100%.
- 5:54SPEAKER_04: I'd say open them clubs up, man.
- 5:57SPEAKER_04: I was watching Atlanta and Houston and Cali over the weekend.
- 6:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they fucking us up.
- 6:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah, bro.
- 6:03SPEAKER_04: People in there with no mask on.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: I don't know about Cali.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: I can't speak with Cali.
- 6:07SPEAKER_04: Yeah, maybe maybe Cali was lit.
- 6:08SPEAKER_04: I know Atlanta was lit and I know Houston was lit.
- 6:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you're trying to do it.
- 6:11SPEAKER_04: I seen that.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what are those two cities states that and now they're two having a red?
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: They're red.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: So keep that same energy.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: Go ahead.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: And keep the clubs closed, man.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying.
- 6:24SPEAKER_03: I don't represent a political party.
- 6:27SPEAKER_03: I just dabble between the two.
- 6:28SPEAKER_03: I like you know, things from both sides.
- 6:30SPEAKER_03: You know, that's perfectly okay.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: I want to I just want to make that clear.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: Like, it's okay to not be confined to a party.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: No, not in the black culture.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: You gotta be a Democrat.
- 6:39SPEAKER_04: I definitely was fake raised a Democrat.
- 6:41SPEAKER_04: No, you all black people raised Democrats.
- 6:43SPEAKER_04: My mom never, I mean, she just said, look, I'm voting for the Democrats.
- 6:46SPEAKER_04: Post 19.
- 6:48SPEAKER_04: You better vote.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's uh it's sacrilegious to be anything else.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Son, I've been crucified by family members who have who are older than they watched me grow from a baby over to adulthood who ready to burn me at the stakes just for not being like confined to a party.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: I'm a registered individual.
- 7:06SPEAKER_04: Like, I mean, like I mean, because I understand now while the frustrations came for my families, because they they they look at Trump a certain way.
- 7:13SPEAKER_04: But I think if I said I was Republican, which I'm not years ago, I don't think I would have got any of the backlash I get now.
- 7:21SPEAKER_03: Well you you guys are 46 years old, so you got to vote you guys got to vote a couple of presidents in there.
- 7:29SPEAKER_03: Only person I voted on was uh was Obama.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: I voted for Obama too as well.
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: Twice?
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: Both times?
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: No.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: The first time.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: The second time I was kind of a wash.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: I knew he was gonna win.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: I couldn't vote for Obama the first time.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: I think the maybe the first.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: I was too young.
- 7:41SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
- 7:42SPEAKER_03: I was 18.
- 7:42SPEAKER_03: You remember how old you were?
- 7:43SPEAKER_03: Like 16.
- 7:44SPEAKER_03: I was in high school.
- 7:46SPEAKER_03: I was might have been a senior, 17.
- 7:48SPEAKER_04: Oh, then I was able to do it.
- 7:51SPEAKER_04: So I voted for him.
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but so did you you didn't vote twice for him?
- 7:55SPEAKER_03: No.
- 7:56SPEAKER_03: The second time I voted.
- 7:57SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: That was the only time I voted to be an absentee ballot, too.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: Because I was in another state.
- 8:02SPEAKER_03: Oh, God.
- 8:03SPEAKER_03: You be traveling.
- 8:05SPEAKER_03: I was in school.
- 8:05SPEAKER_03: Like, what's it mean?
- 8:06SPEAKER_03: Well, tell us about now.
- 8:09SPEAKER_03: Tell us about those are my favorite stories.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: We gotta get him drunk first.
- 8:13SPEAKER_03: Let him go get him a couple more drinks.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: We're just drinking water, relax.
- 8:17SPEAKER_03: Let him uh I got some honey in my bag.
- 8:20SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's fire.
- 8:23SPEAKER_04: Made that bottle.
- 8:24SPEAKER_03: In progress too.
- 8:25SPEAKER_03: Um, yeah, just to get back to um uh Halloween, I I want um to um educate our listeners on uh Halloween.
- 8:33SPEAKER_03: I think you're a really good uh person to uh educate us on this, you know, you don't gotta go like all the way in, don't scare them a little bit too much.
- 8:40SPEAKER_03: But so just the name in itself is uh Halloween, and it's like short for uh you can sneeze on the mic.
- 8:45SPEAKER_03: It's alright.
- 8:47SPEAKER_03: Not now.
- 8:48SPEAKER_03: That was common cursey.
- 8:49SPEAKER_03: Um what is it?
- 8:50SPEAKER_03: All Hollows Eve, like just like it's like a pagan thing.
- 8:53SPEAKER_03: Um so like mo like Caribbean cultures, like we don't celebrate Halloween, like the like the fact that uh my house did it this year, it was literally just because I have a child, and you know, yeah, you kind of don't want him to be like in school and like oh fuck Halloween, yeah.
- 9:08SPEAKER_03: Like you know what I'm saying?
- 9:09SPEAKER_03: Like which should be okay, but you know, you don't you don't want to it's when you're raising children, it's always like a weird line of how do you like not like ostracize them outside of their peer group and also have them have a good head on their shoulders to not just follow blindly, but you don't want your child to be like the outlier in you know school and society in general.
- 9:27SPEAKER_03: So hey, he's a baby, he's not even gonna remember dressing up for Halloween at this point in time, but it's just for pictures' sake.
- 9:32SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 9:33SPEAKER_03: That's literally what it was for.
- 9:34SPEAKER_03: But um, but when the kids can't trick or treating, it just it's just a real wholesome feeling.
- 9:38SPEAKER_03: Just like it's candy, you know, everybody's happy, you're dressing up.
- 9:43SPEAKER_03: And uh, I was always talking about our representation and about how you know we finally have some black superheroes.
- 9:48SPEAKER_03: Well, a black superhero, really.
- 9:50SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 9:50SPEAKER_03: He's gone, yeah, yeah.
- 9:51SPEAKER_03: Rest in peace, chapter person, for real.
- 9:53SPEAKER_03: Um, and I saw a lot of Black Panthers, but uh even the new Spider-Man.
- 9:58SPEAKER_03: Uh well he's not new, but he's new to these kids.
- 10:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's a person of color, and I saw a lot of Spider-Man that had his costume, and he's he's the cool Spider-Man because he wears sneakers.
- 10:06SPEAKER_03: I rock with him, yeah.
- 10:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
- 10:08SPEAKER_03: He literally represents my family.
- 10:09SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 10:10SPEAKER_03: That's dope, yeah.
- 10:10SPEAKER_03: So things like that are very important.
- 10:12SPEAKER_03: I think representation representation is important, and then there's a lot of political uh costumes.
- 10:17SPEAKER_03: I don't know if you guys saw them.
- 10:18SPEAKER_03: Oh like uh there was a Meg Distallion one.
- 10:21SPEAKER_03: Wait, is a Meg Distallion?
- 10:23SPEAKER_03: Some dude dressed up as Tori Lane, and they the girl was dressed up as Meg and she had like holes in her legs.
- 10:27SPEAKER_03: That's hilarious.
- 10:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's crazy.
- 10:29SPEAKER_03: And then um that's crazy.
- 10:31SPEAKER_03: They had the the white couple we can get into that.
- 10:35SPEAKER_03: We had the there was the white couple, um, you know, that had the guns in front of their homes, and they were famous for that.
- 10:39SPEAKER_03: There's a black uh black couple dressed up as the that's actually scary for me.
- 10:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's fire.
- 10:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it's dope.
- 10:47SPEAKER_03: But um the Halloween does have um the Halloween, the holiday does have some negative connotations.
- 10:53SPEAKER_03: Tell us a little bit about that, Godfrey.
- 10:54SPEAKER_03: Give us a history lesson.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: Um, well, originally that holiday was one of the reasons it was uh instituted was to basically pay homage to demons and dead people or people of past, which is, you know, if you know the scriptures, that's a law.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: You don't deal with the dead.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: But what are you talking about?
- 11:11SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry.
- 11:11SPEAKER_03: Can I stop you for one second?
- 11:12SPEAKER_03: Can you explain this to the people out there?
- 11:14SPEAKER_03: I have to tell people all the time that ghosts don't exist, they're just they're just demons.
- 11:18SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 11:18SPEAKER_03: And they don't understand that.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: So I'm at the expense of going deep really fast.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: Um I wasn't even thinking that we're now you're bugging them.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: Listen.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: Pause.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: No, no pause.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: Listen, um, so if you have a spirit around you, right?
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: Let's put it this way everyone has an angel and there's a demon.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: Just like the traditional cartoons you see, we have one on one show to one another.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: They both are with you all the time.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: Alright?
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: So if the demon's with you, it knows you.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: It knows you from birth, it knows everything, your mannerisms, it knows everything about you.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: So when you see a ghost and you think that's like, oh my aunt or whatever, or my cousin, or whoever it might be, it's just a spirit that knew them.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: It's called a familiar spirit.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: Familiar.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: It knows them, so it knows how to act them, it knows how to masquerade them.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: So when you see a ghost or something moving in your household or something that does something, you know, it's not necessarily that a ghost, it's just a spirit, you know, they're masquerading as said person.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: You know, and that can be cited throughout history, but because of our current uh society, we've done away with the supernatural and called it science.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: So people who lose their minds, we say, Oh, they have mental issues, but we're talking about real spiritual issues.
- 12:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they're literally battling demons, exactly.
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: Literally, it's not a phrase, and that's why the drugs don't work.
- 12:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: And I can tell you that for a fact because I did work in Bellevue Hospital in the psychiatric department.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, it was only six months, that's why I was out.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: They're throwing shit around.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: That's my biggest thing.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: I witnessed a guy building altar out of feces and nah nah nah nah no bro.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: He's literally worshiping spirits.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: Yo, and they're giving him drugs, it doesn't work.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: It just makes him go to sleep, and then when he wakes up and the drugs wear off, he's back to building his altars and all that stuff.
- 12:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so and another thing uh I want you to uh kind of tackle for me from my look this is why I love having this guy on the podcast, because I think it's really important to bring black people back because we're very spiritual people, like we can't help it, like we literally cannot help it.
- 13:12SPEAKER_03: Yep, and I see a lot of these young brothers and sisters worship like the most popular word, because I worked in Juvie for a little while, the most popular word for these kids was literally demon, demon time, demon, yeah.
- 13:23SPEAKER_03: That was the most popular phrase.
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: And I'm trying to explain to these young men that yo, what do you think is more powerful?
- 13:30SPEAKER_03: The thing that beats demons or demons?
- 13:32SPEAKER_03: Oh, that gotta be the thing that beats demons.
- 13:34SPEAKER_03: And what do you think that is?
- 13:35SPEAKER_03: It's angels.
- 13:36SPEAKER_03: Nah, but angels are soft.
- 13:37SPEAKER_03: So because they don't understand and they don't read scripture.
- 13:41SPEAKER_03: They don't know that angels are first of all, people think that when you die, you go and become an angel.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: Where does that come from?
- 13:46SPEAKER_03: Like, why do we have that?
- 13:48SPEAKER_03: Oh, when you know you you're you're you see us with the when somebody dies in our culture, you put the angel wings on them.
- 13:53SPEAKER_03: Like, we don't know that they're a different species than us because nobody's reading and nobody's teaching these kids that.
- 13:58SPEAKER_03: But who's why is there a counterculture to teach us that when a baby dies, when your grandma dies, when your best friend dies, he's an angel, not just going back to the Lord?
- 14:06SPEAKER_03: Like, where does that come from?
- 14:07SPEAKER_03: Or where do you think it comes from?
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: I'm not 100% certain where it comes from, but what I do know for a fact is that is not anything.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: That's something that you can't find in any scripture.
- 14:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's like yeah, what like and I feel like it's in our culture a lot though that you see every time a black person gets killed in the hood, it's the angel wings, it's the halo, it's not oh they're just going back to the Lord, it's they're literally becoming an angel.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: I think it's because people like to believe that they're still around watching over the things.
- 14:31SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay, okay, yeah, that makes sense.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: And that kind of ties into the ancestor worship, which is also you know an abomination.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: It's hard to escape that.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, people worship their ancestors.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: And my my um counter to that is like, listen, I think a lot of us know that some of us come from shadow slavery via Africa into America.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: So why would I worship the ancestors who were enslaved?
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: Why would I worship the ancestors who led me into this slavery?
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Like they clearly fail at some point.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: So why I mean if you got enslaved, uh failed.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: This is what I like.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: Alright, alright.
- 15:02SPEAKER_04: So let's say you have I mean, I understand where you're going.
- 15:05SPEAKER_04: No, no, no.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Failed is pretty strong of a if you got enslaved, why am I worshiping you?
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: Nah, nah, yeah, worshiping, but you think like I won't say failed in terms of getting enslaved.
- 15:16SPEAKER_04: That's the I think maybe you should probably just clear that up a little bit.
- 15:19SPEAKER_04: Because if I'm listening, if you did something slightly different, I was like I was slightly around.
- 15:24SPEAKER_04: Let's talk to American blacks.
- 15:25SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm just saying.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: Well, first of all, damn.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: I don't want to go too far.
- 15:31SPEAKER_04: You don't gotta dumb it down, but the way it came off, it was a little bit like when Kanye said the shit he said.
- 15:38SPEAKER_04: Kanye was, yeah.
- 15:39SPEAKER_04: I don't know if you want to.
- 15:40SPEAKER_04: Kanye was.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: Kanye is one of those guys, first of all, just to digress for a little bit, Kanye's one of those guys who really tiptoes genius and insanity.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: So some of the stuff he's saying is extremely factual and correct, but he's also tiptoeing on insanity just because of the makeup of his mind.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: His mind is a little lost, but there's some truth there.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: Anyway, as it pertains to the ancestors, like some of them did fail in serving the most high, and that's what led to the curse.
- 16:07SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
- 16:07SPEAKER_04: I see where I see we I see where you're going.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: So they're not worthy of worship, and no ancestors.
- 16:12SPEAKER_04: But they're also they're also, I mean, I guess there's always uh this this ask to your point that they're human as well, too.
- 16:18SPEAKER_04: So like, you know, you're gonna sin, you're gonna like stray away sometimes.
- 16:23SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: So we're as human beings, we're not worthy of worship, period.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, of course, of course, of course.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: When people worship their ancestors, I'm confused.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: I'm like, why don't you worship the creator, the one who knows that he created you and why he created you?
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: That's somebody who's worthy of worship, the only person who's worthy of worship.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: So this generation that's into the whole demon time is interesting though because when it was Beyoncé and was Megan Stalin who uh coined that term and that song Savage.
- 16:47SPEAKER_03: Nah, yeah, nah, they made it worldly popular, but it came from uh New York drill music.
- 16:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, oh demon time.
- 16:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, made that term popular.
- 16:57SPEAKER_04: It was like it was more like a bar, if anything, when they said it.
- 17:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but they definitely made it like mainstream, though.
- 17:03SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 17:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Beyonce made it mainstream, but it was been screened by these blacks killing other black people.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: That's crazy on Demon Time.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: And Beyonce coined it and then comes out with Black is King.
- 17:13SPEAKER_04: That sounds like uh But see the thing is that sounds like uh she doesn't write her music.
- 17:18SPEAKER_04: So like I understand, yeah, I understand you could you could alter like the lyrics that you're given, but I mean it's a you know music.
- 17:27SPEAKER_04: I the way I look at some music, like if you don't write your own music, you could you could she could be oblivious to what the what it meant or what it was.
- 17:36SPEAKER_04: It's just a it was a buzzword.
- 17:38SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 17:39SPEAKER_04: How old is Beyonce?
- 17:40SPEAKER_04: Like 30 something.
- 17:41SPEAKER_04: Like you think she really like knows that that phrase came from drill musician?
- 17:45SPEAKER_04: No.
- 17:46SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you see what I'm saying?
- 17:47SPEAKER_03: But any person with a brain knows what the word demon and time together means.
- 17:51SPEAKER_04: Time for demons.
- 17:53SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 17:53SPEAKER_04: I mean, I I guess I can see, but you know, I I don't like I said, I don't think you guys are the average black man.
- 18:01SPEAKER_04: I know thank you.
- 18:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so I'm an original.
- 18:04SPEAKER_04: So when you guys put that like value is supposed to be put on words and you guys understand words, so that's why y'all look at it like that.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: But I think a lot of people would just be oblivious to the beat sounds good and the music sounds good, they just say it.
- 18:16SPEAKER_03: No, no, no, hold on.
- 18:17SPEAKER_03: I'm not giving them a pass on the word demon and time.
- 18:22SPEAKER_03: No, you know everybody knows what demon means.
- 18:24SPEAKER_03: Everybody knows what demon is.
- 18:25SPEAKER_03: But I may not be giving it-called black.
- 18:27SPEAKER_03: Like, so that's what you know.
- 18:28SPEAKER_04: The same thing is like when I say the N-word, like I know the next thing.
- 18:33SPEAKER_04: No, no, no.
- 18:33SPEAKER_04: That's a false group.
- 18:34SPEAKER_04: Why is this low?
- 18:35SPEAKER_04: That's not the same thing.
- 18:35SPEAKER_04: Because why is it?
- 18:36SPEAKER_04: Because I know how I know how much it affected my ancestors.
- 18:39SPEAKER_03: No, but do you think you're the average black person?
- 18:42SPEAKER_03: This these black this black kids running around right now, have Chinese people calling them niggas, has the Chinese white friends calling them nigga, because to them that word, as the generations go on, the word loses a lot of its like harshness.
- 18:54SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 18:54SPEAKER_04: Demon is something to somebody that isn't thinking it on a spiritual level.
- 18:59SPEAKER_04: No, what other level is there?
- 19:01SPEAKER_04: They just using the word.
- 19:02SPEAKER_04: The word knows what demon is.
- 19:05SPEAKER_04: Yeah, demon is a natural.
- 19:06SPEAKER_04: Everybody know what nigga means.
- 19:07SPEAKER_04: But I hope.
- 19:08SPEAKER_04: No, no.
- 19:09SPEAKER_04: And for the record, I'm not saying it's the same thing, but I'm just saying because I gotta be devil's advocate.
- 19:15SPEAKER_04: No, no, of course.
- 19:16SPEAKER_04: Uh no pun intended.
- 19:17SPEAKER_04: White devil.
- 19:18SPEAKER_04: No pun intended.
- 19:19SPEAKER_04: No pun intended.
- 19:21unknown: All right.
- 19:22SPEAKER_04: Nigga, people use that word all the time and has lost its value because nobody, well, we don't use it, or people don't use it around us to be offensive or negative.
- 19:32SPEAKER_04: It's not an offensive word.
- 19:33SPEAKER_04: So if I'm saying demon time, what if I'm trying to take the value away from the whole being something evil?
- 19:39SPEAKER_04: Because demons are a real entities, but because what was what was Beyonce's reference in that demon time shit?
- 19:46SPEAKER_04: I think she was like on some like freak shit.
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm about to do demon time, about to start an old thing.
- 19:50SPEAKER_04: She's about to be on some freak shit.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but that demon time is.
- 19:55SPEAKER_03: Negative.
- 19:55SPEAKER_04: Standard is negative.
- 19:57SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but like a girl tells you she's about to be on demon time in the bedroom.
- 20:01SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's it's it's a you know what she means.
- 20:04SPEAKER_03: But it's I that was actually a very good uh analogy, but that's still a negative context.
- 20:09SPEAKER_03: It's a negative thing.
- 20:10SPEAKER_03: It's it's something.
- 20:12SPEAKER_04: Honestly, I maybe maybe that wouldn't personally turn me on as my wife, but I know she's my sinning girl.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: She's your wife.
- 20:20SPEAKER_04: All right, and she got you know Godfrey, she's like Godfrey, it's your birthday.
- 20:24SPEAKER_04: I'm about to get on demon time.
- 20:26SPEAKER_04: Whoa.
- 20:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you may not get turned on because you like turned on.
- 20:30SPEAKER_04: That phrase, that phrase I'm about to anoint her.
- 20:32SPEAKER_04: That's not about it.
- 20:34SPEAKER_04: See, I'm not even role-playing.
- 20:36SPEAKER_04: That's that's it right there.
- 20:38SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 20:38SPEAKER_04: Wow.
- 20:40SPEAKER_04: What I'm saying is maybe that phrase wouldn't turn you on, but you know what she means, which might turn you on.
- 20:46SPEAKER_04: You know she's about to get nasty.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: The thing is, you can't normalize things that are not even as negative on a regular level, but we're talking on a spiritual level.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: And as black people, we know better.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, culturally, historically, we know way better.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: And basically to me, I see it's just like basically uh acquiescing to worldly standards of a people that's not us.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Like, just because you know, white people have been into skulls and bones and demons for years with rock music, we've allowed ourselves to let that come into our culture, which absolutely I have a problem with hip-hop today, not all hip-hop, but hip-hop today.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: I'm like, we've allowed that to come in and it's destroying our youth.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: Like, demon time is should that would never be normalized.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: They didn't, but they were the ones who they're paying the nigga that's saying that too.
- 21:30SPEAKER_04: Can we argue that New York drill was not going to be ignored?
- 21:35SPEAKER_04: You don't think you don't think that New York drill music was going to be a thing eventually?
- 21:40SPEAKER_04: As much noise as it was making.
- 21:42SPEAKER_03: No, well, it is a thing, so I can't make the argument that it wasn't gonna be wasn't gonna be a thing because it's a thing.
- 21:47SPEAKER_03: But my argument is that if you listen to Pop Smoke, what you can I'm gonna make the argument that he's the biggest New York drill artist, period.
- 21:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, his music was very it was shift it shifted away from that game.
- 21:58SPEAKER_03: It was mostly.
- 22:00SPEAKER_04: I don't think if he did, it was probably in his early songs.
- 22:03SPEAKER_03: I don't think anything on his album, like his music started going very, you know, not I won't I'm not using the word pop as a negative thing, but it started to go away from the gang, shoot them up, kill nigga shit.
- 22:13SPEAKER_03: To oh, I'm tough and my guys are tough.
- 22:16SPEAKER_03: We're not talking about killing other people though, and I'm gonna talk about girls' money in cars.
- 22:19SPEAKER_03: Like, and that's classic hip-hop, in my opinion.
- 22:22SPEAKER_03: But the demon time shit and is not in it.
- 22:26SPEAKER_03: So I I disagree.
- 22:27SPEAKER_03: But you have somebody like Fabio, who's like the next guy.
- 22:30SPEAKER_04: He's the first person on his.
- 22:32SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 22:32SPEAKER_03: And he's now he's the guy that they're championing, and we know how these uh record executives get.
- 22:36SPEAKER_03: They pay the the village village idiot so that kids can our kids can uh like be projected upon by this guy.
- 22:44SPEAKER_03: I hate that so much.
- 22:45SPEAKER_03: And then now they dancing around singing demon time.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: I hate that so much.
- 22:48SPEAKER_03: I'm telling you, I worked on D-Hall.
- 22:49SPEAKER_03: That was the hall I was on, and they were called Demon Hall.
- 22:52SPEAKER_03: And the whole point is yeah, that bro, the staff was calling them that.
- 22:56SPEAKER_03: The staff was calling them that.
- 22:57SPEAKER_03: So they're projecting this on these kids already.
- 22:59SPEAKER_03: These kids are already in a bad situation, they're in juvie.
- 23:02SPEAKER_03: And then you were now adding this D thing to them just because they're D-Hall, they're Demon Hall.
- 23:06SPEAKER_03: So all they know every day is Demon Town.
- 23:07SPEAKER_03: So we have to be the troublemakers in here.
- 23:09SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 23:09SPEAKER_03: And that's what it was.
- 23:10SPEAKER_03: So it's just really sickening to see uh our people time and time again get, you know, the shitty end of the stick because we're willing to accept the dollars to you know, destroy our own community.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: That's the problem when people when the top guy or whoever's in charge, you know, accepts the money and sells out the whole village.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: I think that's kind of what the slavery was, though.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: That's exactly what it was.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: That's exactly what it was.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: And that's why I said um everything we're we're experiencing now is like being traditional Democrats is post-1960s.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: Before the 1960s, we were actually Republican.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Republican, yeah, I heard that too.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: We were very conservative.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: If we heard anything about demon time, they would have been.
- 23:52SPEAKER_03: So Yeah, Martin Luther King was a Republican, wasn't he?
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: I can't I can't confirm nor deny, but I do know that black people were traditionally Republican up until 1960.
- 24:03SPEAKER_03: What did he shoot on?
- 24:03SPEAKER_03: His taxes?
- 24:05SPEAKER_03: So she said this, and I quote, listen, this movement is bigger than my marriage.
- 24:09SPEAKER_03: Shout out to that one.
- 24:10SPEAKER_03: I just wanted to read that.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tell you right now, that's a really logical thing to say.
- 24:15SPEAKER_03: Yo, I'm telling you, that's the most logical woman of all time.
- 24:18SPEAKER_03: Here's the balance.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: I'm not condoning what he did.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: He was wrong.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: But for her to realize that if I just, you know, while out, I can destroy something that's affecting millions of lives.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: Big ups to Coretta Scott.
- 24:27SPEAKER_00: That was the case.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: That's all I was reading.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: That's all I was reading.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: I know you were.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: Yes, I was.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: Yes, I was.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: He didn't know I was gonna say that.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: I knew somebody was gonna say that.
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: I'm not condoning.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: I knew somebody was gonna say that.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: She's really that was that was huge of her.
- 24:40SPEAKER_04: I'm telling you, man.
- 24:41SPEAKER_04: So those women don't exist no more?
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: There's not many of them left.
- 24:45SPEAKER_03: Nah, it's on demon time.
- 24:46SPEAKER_03: It's demon time shit.
- 24:47SPEAKER_03: It's only fans.
- 24:49SPEAKER_03: So Beyonce not only promoted.
- 24:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Beyonce not only.
- 24:53SPEAKER_03: First of all, let me break down OnlyFans for y'all that don't know.
- 24:56SPEAKER_03: OnlyFans started off as a platform for people like you and I to give our listeners and followers exclusive content.
- 25:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 25:05SPEAKER_03: That's all it was for.
- 25:06SPEAKER_03: And then some genius woman was like, hmm, I can sell my pussy on this thing.
- 25:11SPEAKER_03: And that literally changed the whole platform.
- 25:14SPEAKER_03: But you know who's not complaining?
- 25:15SPEAKER_03: OnlyFans.
- 25:16SPEAKER_03: Because they get, of course, they get a pink.
- 25:18SPEAKER_03: I'm telling you, but there's people, there's artists on there that paint.
- 25:21SPEAKER_03: There's a rays on there, apparently.
- 25:22SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 25:22SPEAKER_03: Like this.
- 25:23SPEAKER_03: I think entertainers are going broke quick in COVID because they can't tour.
- 25:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, hell yeah.
- 25:30SPEAKER_03: Movie shit is slowing up.
- 25:31SPEAKER_03: So if you're not the A-list of actors, you're not getting those calls no more.
- 25:34SPEAKER_03: So I've noticed that actually.
- 25:36SPEAKER_03: I'm telling you, hell yeah.
- 25:37SPEAKER_03: This shit is crazy.
- 25:38SPEAKER_03: I'm telling you.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: We're tired of seeing him get us a new actor.
- 25:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, they can't because they don't want to run the risk of getting in some new guy in.
- 25:44SPEAKER_03: He gives COVID to the whole staff.
- 25:46SPEAKER_04: That whole movie has to be scrapped.
- 25:47SPEAKER_04: And I honestly think the way entertainment is moving now, we just consume it way too quick.
- 25:53SPEAKER_04: Like, and that goes for overall everything.
- 25:55SPEAKER_04: Us as consumers, like, you just have to produce so much stuff just for people to pay attention.
- 26:01SPEAKER_04: And then by the time they listen to it or watch it, like think about like what's the last maybe album or even single.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: Nah, it's King's Disease was a phenomenal album.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: You're gonna forget about it.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 26:12SPEAKER_04: I I only listened to it straight through once.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: If it came through in the 90s, that would be a classic album.
- 26:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like your face artists back then.
- 26:20SPEAKER_04: If they dropped two albums in a year, you was lucky.
- 26:22SPEAKER_04: No, that's a lot.
- 26:23SPEAKER_04: That was a big deal.
- 26:24SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that was that was a I think now these dudes is or even anything, like TV shows and stuff, like they have to release these things so fast because so much things is like Netflix is dropping new series almost every day.
- 26:36SPEAKER_04: Every month, every day.
- 26:37SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so it's like the way entertainment works, like I I when when COVID hit, like I really paid attention to how much like we consume stuff at this point.
- 26:47SPEAKER_04: Like it's just yeah, it's just it's like I can see why people like just fiend into OnlyFans or Can I flip this on y'all?
- 26:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, what I realized, and Amazon got into an argument with its consumer base because if you buy a movie on Amazon, you don't own it.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: It's like a rental, right?
- 27:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, everything is a rental.
- 27:10SPEAKER_03: So people are now starting to realize that yo, back in the day when you bought a movie, DVD, that's yours.
- 27:17SPEAKER_03: Hold on, what was the price?
- 27:19SPEAKER_03: It's the same thing.
- 27:20SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's the same price in a school of rental?
- 27:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 27:22SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 27:23SPEAKER_03: So people are renting these things for like$7.99.
- 27:26SPEAKER_03: You can own it.
- 27:28SPEAKER_03: This is the crazy part.
- 27:29SPEAKER_03: You can own it for$14.99, but you don't own it.
- 27:32SPEAKER_03: It's on Amazon.
- 27:34SPEAKER_03: That shit ain't yours.
- 27:35SPEAKER_03: We coming, we're coming down to that shit, bro.
- 27:38SPEAKER_03: We get into that chip eventually.
- 27:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we don't own nothing.
- 27:41SPEAKER_03: Music.
- 27:43SPEAKER_03: We pay$14 a month for every song ever, but we don't own any of them.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: As soon as they're like, yo, actually get this chip or else we're not giving no more.
- 27:50SPEAKER_03: Like the next step is food.
- 27:52SPEAKER_03: Like, once they hit you with the subscription service, like now the shopping, you know, Costco BJs.
- 27:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they do that.
- 27:58SPEAKER_03: They already started, but you see, I can get why they did that.
- 27:59SPEAKER_03: That's wholesale.
- 28:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you don't go to Costco to buy 10 bananas.
- 28:02SPEAKER_03: Go ahead and buy 100.
- 28:04SPEAKER_04: How isn't how isn't that not convenient, though?
- 28:06SPEAKER_04: What do you mean?
- 28:07SPEAKER_04: Like the subscription.
- 28:08SPEAKER_03: No, because you're paying and then you still gotta pay for the thing.
- 28:11SPEAKER_03: Nah, I you trying to look at the food one.
- 28:14SPEAKER_03: So this is what they're gonna do with the food.
- 28:16SPEAKER_03: They're gonna do the same thing.
- 28:18SPEAKER_03: You have to pay the shop, and it's just not gonna be Costco.
- 28:20SPEAKER_03: So before you walk into the deli, nah, you didn't pay this month.
- 28:23SPEAKER_03: Oh, it gotta break down to the deli.
- 28:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's that's everybody has to follow suit if you realize.
- 28:30SPEAKER_03: Oh, you like if the government implements implements these days.
- 28:33SPEAKER_03: I don't even think the government has to.
- 28:35SPEAKER_03: I think Jeff Bezos is like, nah, this is the new standard.
- 28:38SPEAKER_03: He already has whole voice.
- 28:40SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 28:40SPEAKER_03: So if you don't have to, you can't fuck with whole voice.
- 28:45SPEAKER_03: That's the next level.
- 28:48SPEAKER_03: I wasn't thinking like that.
- 28:49SPEAKER_03: I wasn't thinking like that.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: You weren't entertained by that.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: You just got him formed.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: I encourage everybody to learn how to farm.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: I've been doing that the whole pandemic, bro.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: Shout out to pumpkins in the back.
- 29:04SPEAKER_04: What area in the projects do I have?
- 29:07SPEAKER_04: All you need is a small patch.
- 29:11SPEAKER_04: Rocks up there.
- 29:14SPEAKER_03: Nah, but when y'all wanted to fuck up there, y'all find a way.
- 29:16SPEAKER_03: That was back in the day.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: Number kid.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: Hold on, let me say something.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: If you can go on YouTube and learn the lyrics to a song, you can go on YouTube and learn how to build a little eight by eight box.
- 29:25SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but that's not my ank.
- 29:26SPEAKER_04: That's not my land.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: I'm pretty sure how you can still grow something in my apartment.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: So in case you have to like be living off the grid, I can know how to feed.
- 29:36SPEAKER_04: How about my friends with homes?
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, even that.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: You know, we didn't have to go.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: I see it's going back to the mentality.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: I'm doing a subscription though.
- 29:44SPEAKER_03: You gotta subscribe to the channel.
- 29:45SPEAKER_03: Everybody got it to what's the subscribe to my comfortable man.
- 29:52SPEAKER_03: I'm taking it back.
- 30:01SPEAKER_03: That's how slavery started.
- 30:03SPEAKER_03: That's why P.
- 30:04SPEAKER_03: Diddy's rich.
- 30:05SPEAKER_03: P.
- 30:06SPEAKER_03: Diddy anyway.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: That's why.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: We'll leave that alone.
- 30:09SPEAKER_03: We're gonna talk about it everything today.
- 30:11SPEAKER_03: But getting back to your point, Godfrey, I really I believe what you're saying.
- 30:14SPEAKER_03: Like as a as a community, like did you hear about those black people that bought a um that came together, like how the Jewish people do, and they uh uh they got together.
- 30:23SPEAKER_03: And and you know the I did you see the comments under that shit?
- 30:26SPEAKER_03: All the white people are like, how's this not racist?
- 30:30SPEAKER_03: Then they was like, so what cops are gonna call when it's trouble?
- 30:33SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: See that it's not gonna be trouble.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: And this is why when it comes to power, like, yo, neither side is good.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: But anyway, like when we decide to do stuff ourselves, all of a sudden we're looked at as racist.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I'm just gonna be able to do this.
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: Meanwhile, they have entire neighborhoods where they're like, yo, we're just trying to keep it nice in here.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: We don't really want any trouble, but you mean you don't want any black people?
- 30:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's that's one of my main reasons why I would never join the military, is that I can't go to any bar.
- 30:58SPEAKER_04: Well, every bar in Alabama.
- 31:00SPEAKER_04: So I can fight for this country, but if I go to Alabama, I'll show you the wrong neighborhood and ask for a shot of Hennessy.
- 31:07SPEAKER_04: One, they're not gonna have Hennessy.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: Let me just say this, though.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: Two, that's how I can't be here.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: Shout out to every black man who served in every single war in this country.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: That's why when I talk to black people, I'll be like, oh, listen, remember, this is our nation too.
- 31:18SPEAKER_00: We've served in every single war we've been doing.
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: I'm proud to be an American.
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: And I feel like black people don't feel like we're Americans.
- 31:27SPEAKER_03: We are our country.
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: We were here before the nation was founded.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: Like, this is I mean, this is a whole other topic.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: But you you're 100% American, right, Charles?
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: You're people from the first ones.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: Yes, he's a slave.
- 31:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, as far as I as far as I could tell you, maybe a couple great great grandparents, definitely in this country.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: So we've had this conversation on several occasions.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: But there are journals from Verizano, the founder of Verizano Bridge, and even Jefferson who've said verbatim, um, there's no difference between the natives of the Carolinas and the Ethiopes of Africa, meaning in terms of how they look.
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: So the original inhabitants of the Americas, at least on the eastern uh seaboard, were dark-skinned or copper-skinned people, black people.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: So people want to tell you, like, oh, let's go back to Africa.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: Nah, nah, nah, nah.
- 32:17SPEAKER_00: My ancestors are from here.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: Especially for someone like you, because like my people come from the Caribbean and from like America.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: But you for like, for instance, like you are from here 100%.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: So people try to like get you to be anti-Americans like, yeah, sure, the establishment and the government, but the land, this is mine.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: And we have to understand as black people that we're indigenous to the whole planet Earth, not just Africa.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: That's very important.
- 32:40SPEAKER_03: Like, I feel like the divide and conquer, I know we're jumping around a lot, but this is this is my favorite podcast, though.
- 32:46SPEAKER_03: Is when we can like the streams of consciousness, we just got to bounce off these ideas.
- 32:51SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 32:52SPEAKER_03: Kanye calls his things um symphonies.
- 32:54SPEAKER_03: That shit was hard.
- 32:56SPEAKER_03: That shit was hard.
- 32:57SPEAKER_03: That shit was hard.
- 32:57SPEAKER_03: But he didn't write that.
- 32:59SPEAKER_03: So I feel like that man is a genius.
- 33:01SPEAKER_03: Give the man crack.
- 33:02SPEAKER_03: I remember when I was crazy for saying he's a genius.
- 33:04SPEAKER_04: No, no, no.
- 33:05SPEAKER_04: He doesn't always say the right thing.
- 33:06SPEAKER_04: No, no, my problem is hard.
- 33:07SPEAKER_03: My problem with Kanye, like I've been saying, is that I feel like he's using Christianity to show out.
- 33:13SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 33:13SPEAKER_03: I don't like that.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: Look, I think he authentically does like want to change.
- 33:18SPEAKER_04: I hope so.
- 33:18SPEAKER_04: I don't think he's Christian.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: I think they're they're guiding him the right way.
- 33:21SPEAKER_04: Like, for real.
- 33:21SPEAKER_04: Like you said, you guys are Christian.
- 33:23SPEAKER_04: I don't think he's like you guys.
- 33:24SPEAKER_04: What do you mean?
- 33:25SPEAKER_04: I don't think he's for real.
- 33:26SPEAKER_04: I mean he's playing.
- 33:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, then I have a problem with that.
- 33:28SPEAKER_03: That's my issue.
- 33:29SPEAKER_04: But I but I also think he's genuine.
- 33:31SPEAKER_04: I don't know if you could do both.
- 33:33SPEAKER_04: But I like I think he's just using.
- 33:35SPEAKER_04: I I don't know.
- 33:37SPEAKER_04: I'm babbling a little bit.
- 33:38SPEAKER_04: But I I just think I think like I think he, yeah, right.
- 33:41SPEAKER_04: I think he wants to be, I think he wants to be genuine.
- 33:43SPEAKER_04: But like some I know you guys for a long time now, and I know you never hid your Christianity, you never hid your faith.
- 33:51SPEAKER_04: Like, even though we got this guy who made Jesus walks, he hasn't always throughout his career been as uh transparent as he is now about his faith.
- 34:00SPEAKER_04: So when I see you do it now, it's kind of like but I do think you have great points, but still like I gotta, you know, I gotta side eye.
- 34:08SPEAKER_03: There's nothing wrong with being like, you know, yeah, come on, let me see first.
- 34:11SPEAKER_03: First of all, it's it's hard being a Christian, number one.
- 34:14SPEAKER_03: It's tough.
- 34:15SPEAKER_03: I think it is like people think like I had friends like because I had a lot of Muslim friends, and they told me that being a Christian is easy because I don't have to pre pray five times a day.
- 34:23SPEAKER_03: I can eat like pretty much anything I want.
- 34:25SPEAKER_03: And this is before like I was really like, you know, uh studious about the book.
- 34:29SPEAKER_03: So I'm just looking at them like, oh, you got a good point.
- 34:31SPEAKER_03: But um, when you really get down to the nitty-gritty, like 99.9% of the shit that I do probably on a daily basis is sin.
- 34:38SPEAKER_03: So it's really it's not easy, bro.
- 34:42SPEAKER_03: Like it really isn't.
- 34:43SPEAKER_03: But um, uh just get just to get back to my original point, which I completely forgot what the fuck I was gonna talk about.
- 34:49SPEAKER_03: But this is why I like these podcasts.
- 34:51SPEAKER_04: It's fine, because I got a question for you Christians, if you know, absolutely good.
- 34:53SPEAKER_04: This is perfect.
- 34:54SPEAKER_04: So one thing I always wondered, because I've seen this argument a little bit.
- 34:58SPEAKER_04: You Christians.
- 34:59SPEAKER_04: People say I'm a Hebrew.
- 35:00SPEAKER_04: Yeah, people say that Christianity is a religion put upon us by bullshit, then so is Islam.
- 35:08SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 35:09SPEAKER_04: I don't know why you would throw that out here like my name is Tore.
- 35:12SPEAKER_03: That's not because I always think that for Muslim.
- 35:14SPEAKER_03: Remember that nigga in the barbershop he was telling you about?
- 35:17SPEAKER_03: He was talking to Eve.
- 35:18SPEAKER_03: He was like, You gotta get yourself a Muslim brother.
- 35:20SPEAKER_03: That's why your girl looks like Kenny G.
- 35:22SPEAKER_03: And I was like, I was offended about it.
- 35:23SPEAKER_03: I was like, first of all.
- 35:26SPEAKER_03: I was like, first of all, that's not what Jesus is.
- 35:29SPEAKER_03: That's not what Jesus looks like based on the book.
- 35:32SPEAKER_03: If you read the book, he don't look like that.
- 35:34SPEAKER_03: He don't look like that.
- 35:35SPEAKER_03: And number two, uh, in Islam, I I don't like to shit off Islam, but I just want to say Muhammad was I'm gonna answer you a question, but I gotta shit on Islam first.
- 35:44SPEAKER_03: Muhammad was a warlord and he had a 13-year-old as a daughter.
- 35:47SPEAKER_03: I mean, as a wife, I'm sorry.
- 35:48SPEAKER_03: And that's all I gotta say.
- 35:49SPEAKER_04: Was there any laws against that back in the day?
- 35:51SPEAKER_03: That was part of his religion.
- 35:53SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 35:54SPEAKER_03: Take as many wives as you want.
- 35:55SPEAKER_03: It doesn't matter the age, as long as you can pay for them.
- 35:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, uh, she's 13, dog.
- 35:59SPEAKER_03: Nah, I'm not saying that.
- 36:00SPEAKER_03: This is documented.
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: No, no, but I don't care what part of history you're in that.
- 36:02SPEAKER_04: 13 is weight.
- 36:03SPEAKER_04: Nah, but see, back in the day, if there wasn't no law.
- 36:07SPEAKER_04: What is wrong?
- 36:08SPEAKER_04: Like, if it's not against the law, is it wrong?
- 36:11SPEAKER_04: That's a question of morality.
- 36:12SPEAKER_03: Let's do your question first, though.
- 36:14SPEAKER_03: What was your question again?
- 36:16SPEAKER_04: Uh I've heard, I'm not saying I believe this, but one of the questions I thought I should ask you guys is I've heard people say Christianity is placed upon us from uh oppressive.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, get that, Godfrey.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: Alright, number one, the term Christianity, that's the problem.
- 36:30SPEAKER_00: That was coined in Rome in Rome.
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: That was the first time people who followed Christ were called a Christian.
- 36:35SPEAKER_00: That's just the name.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: So now it's such a broad term that you know anyone who says I believe in God, or not even Jesus, I believe in God.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: They're called a Christian.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: But originally we called followers of the way, which was the way of Christ, which was to the Father, the Creator.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: So the term Christianity has been convoluted.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: Now, actually, it will indicate whether someone's a believer more so than just calling themselves a Christian.
- 36:55SPEAKER_00: So that's why when I even meet the women who say, Oh, I'm a Christian, I start to ask them questions, we talk, and I realize she doesn't really serve the most high.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: She really just goes about doing that.
- 37:04SPEAKER_00: Now, when we talk about the book, we're actually reading it.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: But like AG said, if you read it, you're gonna look through um the context or even how they describe Christ, how they describe the people of the book, and they are like people woolly hair.
- 37:17SPEAKER_00: We're the only people who're gonna have woolly hair.
- 37:19SPEAKER_00: That was that was the biggest huge.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: And then there's another one in particular, this one that really messed me up when they were like there's a particular guy, um, a person in the Bible historical figure who slept on a bed of rock.
- 37:28SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, nobody can like sleeping on a rock.
- 37:30SPEAKER_00: There's only one way to sleep on a rock.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: If you have straight hair, that's gonna kill you.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: You can't sleep on a rock.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: It's things like that that they that they change.
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: And you gotta remember something.
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: One of the biggest terms, or one of the biggest things is if you wanna hide something from a Negro, you hide it in a book.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: I know a lot of brothers who will come and oh, that's the white man's book, and they talk crazy.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: I'm like, Yo, have you read it?
- 37:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I read a couple of words, have you read it or broke it down for yourself?
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: If you're gonna come and you're gonna debate me on this particular book, make sure you master it first.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: Because if you don't know what you're talking about, you're gonna run yourself in circles because I'm just gonna give you scriptures like Allah.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: I never read that one.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: So we have to do our due diligence and read it for ourselves, and when you read it, you're gonna be like, wait a second.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: There's no way that quote unquote Caucasian people were in Egypt building pyramids or being slaves and survived, they would have died, but the sun would kill them.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: Like I've said before, the one in two places on the planet with the highest rate of skin cancer are Israel and Australia.
- 38:27SPEAKER_00: We have white people living in dark skin.
- 38:29SPEAKER_03: They're not supposed to be there.
- 38:30SPEAKER_03: They're not supposed to be there.
- 38:31SPEAKER_03: So Australia was um uh the Great Britain, that was their jail.
- 38:36SPEAKER_03: They were like, yo, we send in all of our worst people over there.
- 38:39SPEAKER_03: Send them to the hot place.
- 38:40SPEAKER_03: Hey, y'all can do whatever the fuck y'all want.
- 38:42SPEAKER_03: You know what they went over there and did?
- 38:43SPEAKER_03: They killed all the the original people, the aborigines.
- 38:46SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 38:46SPEAKER_03: They literally slaughtered those people.
- 38:48SPEAKER_03: I watched a documentary on it, and you know what they look like?
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: They look like black.
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: Pat Patty Mills on the Spurs?
- 38:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:52SPEAKER_03: They literally look just like him.
- 38:54SPEAKER_03: That's where he's from.
- 38:55SPEAKER_03: Those are that's the Aboriginal people of uh Australia.
- 38:57SPEAKER_03: He's an original Australian.
- 38:59SPEAKER_04: Another question.
- 39:00SPEAKER_04: So I was watching a uh like a clip that my friend sent me, and it was from a Klansman, like a grand wizard or whatever.
- 39:09SPEAKER_04: You sent me this.
- 39:11SPEAKER_04: First of all, you hear this shit?
- 39:12SPEAKER_04: Grand wizard.
- 39:14SPEAKER_04: Honestly, I think I think I think that level of racism is uh is a mental illness.
- 39:20SPEAKER_04: I understand people being bigot.
- 39:21SPEAKER_04: I understand people being bigots, I get that.
- 39:24SPEAKER_04: I'm a bigot.
- 39:25SPEAKER_04: But I think that level of racism is like something's wrong with you.
- 39:30SPEAKER_04: Something's wrong with you.
- 39:31SPEAKER_04: But anyway, the same Bible that you guys interpret, uh, which you guys interpret, he interprets it, he interprets it for the exact opposite, and and he backs it with his racism.
- 39:43SPEAKER_04: Like his that Bible, same Bible backs his racism.
- 39:47SPEAKER_00: That's how powerful that book is, though.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: Like on a like truthful level, that's how powerful that book is.
- 39:51SPEAKER_04: That can't my bad to cut you off, but can you argue that the Quran is that powerful to Muslims?
- 39:55SPEAKER_04: No, it's not because these are.
- 39:58SPEAKER_00: I have no problem because I have Muslim friends, but I'll keep it real with them.
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: Like, they know for a fact that they reference, if you listen to Farrakhan, he constantly references the scriptures to make his point.
- 40:06SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but these people like we I don't I don't know for the fact, I don't want to misspeak, but there's been uh uh suicide bombers who've said that they've done this because their religion has called them to do this, right?
- 40:18SPEAKER_04: What religion is that?
- 40:19SPEAKER_04: I I'm guessing Muslims.
- 40:21SPEAKER_04: That's what I'm saying.
- 40:21SPEAKER_04: I don't want to misspeak Islam, excuse me.
- 40:23SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so uh so that's what I'm saying.
- 40:26SPEAKER_04: I I I would assume that their religion is just how powerful you say the Bible is, which I believe.
- 40:32SPEAKER_04: I believe if you believe in uh a higher power, I give you I I I respect that.
- 40:37SPEAKER_04: That's what I am gonna say, at least.
- 40:38SPEAKER_04: I I'm not too uh religious.
- 40:41SPEAKER_04: I haven't read most of the Bible at all, or I haven't read the Quran at all.
- 40:45SPEAKER_04: But what I am gonna say, if you believe in a higher power, that's a step in the right direction.
- 40:49SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 40:50SPEAKER_04: So you think acknowledging that there is a big thing.
- 40:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: Let me say this.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: Um if I write you a letter, if I write a letter to and like you don't get the letter or you read it and you didn't you just didn't take it, take it in care, so you throw it down, and someone else finds it, they might read that letter and get something from it, but because it's not to them, they'll misinterpret it.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: So if I wrote a scripture and this book is for specific people, right?
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: And someone else gets their hands on it, they misinterpret it and read it.
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: They can act upon what they interpreted the read.
- 41:23SPEAKER_00: The dopest for.
- 41:26SPEAKER_03: The dopest thing, I don't know if it was Godfrey that said it to me, uh uh, but it was to read the Bible as a textbook, a history book for black people.
- 41:34SPEAKER_03: History, law, prophecy.
- 41:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, once I heard that, it literally changed my whole mind state about the book.
- 41:41SPEAKER_03: Like, it wasn't like, yo, it's just so powerful the white propaganda is.
- 41:47SPEAKER_03: Because I'm reading this shit, I'm hearing names like Jacob and Moses, and I'm thinking this is a white people that I'm reading about because every movie that we see is white people playing these characters, every picture, drawing, rendition is white people.
- 42:02SPEAKER_03: So obviously, when I'm reading the text, because you know how we work, we work backwards, we get the visuals before we get the context, right?
- 42:08SPEAKER_03: I'm thinking, yo, these are white people.
- 42:10SPEAKER_03: When I'm hearing about Adam and Eve, I'm thinking of two white people.
- 42:12SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 42:13SPEAKER_03: Because that's all I've ever seen.
- 42:14SPEAKER_03: But once I put it in my brain that, you know what, I'm gonna just put like a black face on everything, and everything is black, it was just more natural to me.
- 42:21SPEAKER_03: I was like, oh no, no, Adam is a black dude.
- 42:24SPEAKER_03: This isn't a white name.
- 42:26SPEAKER_03: We don't know none of this shit because in the Bible we are cursed because of what we did.
- 42:30SPEAKER_03: We were separated, we're all supposed to hate each other.
- 42:32SPEAKER_03: This is a curse.
- 42:33SPEAKER_03: This is literally what happened because we strayed away from God.
- 42:37SPEAKER_03: And once I seen this shit, I was like, nah, this is crazy.
- 42:40SPEAKER_03: And I try to employ all black people to do that.
- 42:42SPEAKER_03: But I don't I don't hate all my Muslim brothers.
- 42:44SPEAKER_03: The Quran to me is just uh if you read how um Muhammad uh supposedly found the Quran, he spoke to the angel, uh Caleb, I believe.
- 42:53SPEAKER_03: And that's I think that angel's in the Bible too, isn't he?
- 42:56SPEAKER_03: Uh the name is different.
- 42:58SPEAKER_04: Muhammad was Christian at first?
- 42:59SPEAKER_03: No, Muhammad was nothing.
- 43:00SPEAKER_03: They were just warning people.
- 43:02SPEAKER_03: They were just warring people.
- 43:02SPEAKER_03: He went and he an angel gave him a book and said this is the Quran.
- 43:05SPEAKER_03: Like Muslims believe Muslims believe that um Jesus is just not the son of God, he's a prophet.
- 43:11SPEAKER_03: He's just a prophet, he's the last, and Muhammad was the last prophet.
- 43:15SPEAKER_03: So Jesus was before him, and Muhammad's supposed to be the last prophet.
- 43:18SPEAKER_03: That's that's how that works.
- 43:19SPEAKER_03: And you know, there's no Islam without Christianity.
- 43:23SPEAKER_03: Like literally, that's the major keys there.
- 43:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, literally.
- 43:27SPEAKER_03: There's there they wouldn't exist.
- 43:28SPEAKER_03: So I don't know, man.
- 43:30SPEAKER_03: Like when you just put all these things into context, there's you just gotta look at the world and see if you read the Bible and you see what's going on the black people.
- 43:38SPEAKER_03: There's no there's there's no other per people on this planet.
- 43:40SPEAKER_03: They try to fit the Jews or the Jewish people.
- 43:43SPEAKER_03: The Jews don't fit, they don't fit it though, because you they gave them Israel, which is a holy place to all of the Abrahamic people, and they can't live there, they're dying.
- 43:52SPEAKER_03: Skin cancer is bodying them.
- 43:53SPEAKER_00: And the Palestinians is still fighting.
- 43:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the Palestinians are not giving that place up for nothing, like it's not because it wasn't written for them.
- 43:58SPEAKER_03: Something's gonna happen.
- 43:59SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: How it's gonna look.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: Godfrey's probably better versed, but I don't I hope it's nah.
- 44:04SPEAKER_03: Sometimes I don't know.
- 44:05SPEAKER_03: I don't even know if I want to say that.
- 44:06SPEAKER_03: I don't know if I hope it's in my lifetime or not.
- 44:08SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 44:09SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 44:10SPEAKER_03: I don't know if I want to see it.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, honestly, I don't know.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: Let me just add something real quick when it comes to the book though, too.
- 44:14SPEAKER_00: Um interesting that you were bringing up how like when white people read it, or certain white people decide to be racist and bigots about it.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: Um historically they'll never tell you this, but every single slave uprising was instigated by a former slave or slave who learned how to read and read the book.
- 44:33SPEAKER_00: They read that book, not the Quran, not any other African text, not no Egyptian uh whole textbook.
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: The same Bible they read, they read it, and they said, you know, this dude Moses or whoever the the historical patriarch was inspired them and said, nah, I gotta get up out of this.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: That book has a resonance with a certain people.
- 44:51SPEAKER_00: And when they were enslaved, they said, nah, I'm not saying I'm not staying here.
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: This is I'm not a slave, I'm a king.
- 44:56SPEAKER_00: And that's why that book is so powerful to us specifically.
- 44:59SPEAKER_00: So remember that when you read it.
- 45:01SPEAKER_03: I have a question for you.
- 45:02SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna play uh White Devil's Advocate again.
- 45:04SPEAKER_03: Um why does the Bible shit on women so hard?
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: Um, well, this is one of my favorite references because it takes a it's gonna hurt a lot of us.
- 45:14SPEAKER_00: Oh that's the whole chapter one chapter one.
- 45:18SPEAKER_04: I didn't know like I said, I'm not uh I'm not too familiar with the Bible.
- 45:21SPEAKER_04: I know a little bit of points in the Bible because I went to Catholic school.
- 45:24SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 45:25SPEAKER_04: To me, Catholics are Catholics are saints.
- 45:28SPEAKER_04: Isn't it the same Bible?
- 45:29SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 45:29SPEAKER_03: It's not the same Bible first of all, they believe in saints.
- 45:31SPEAKER_03: Let's start off off.
- 45:32SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, no, honestly.
- 45:33SPEAKER_03: That's when I first read it.
- 45:35SPEAKER_03: It's not the same thing.
- 45:36SPEAKER_03: No disrespect to my Catholics out there.
- 45:38SPEAKER_03: If y'all don't change up, y'all gonna hell, dog.
- 45:41SPEAKER_03: That shit is do that.
- 45:46SPEAKER_03: You can't be telling people.
- 45:54SPEAKER_03: Hold on, more than no white shoes.
- 45:58SPEAKER_03: No white shoes.
- 45:59SPEAKER_03: Nah, but I feel like you know, Catholicism is not, yo, that's not it, man.
- 46:03SPEAKER_03: If you really if you read the Bible, you look at Catholicism, the shit don't add up.
- 46:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and honestly, I don't remember much.
- 46:09SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm probably gonna do.
- 46:13SPEAKER_04: Yeah, honestly, the state the same thing I thought was a little weird.
- 46:16SPEAKER_04: I was like, well, that's it off rip.
- 46:18SPEAKER_04: I was like, But I like it's not the same Bible?
- 46:20SPEAKER_03: It can be.
- 46:20SPEAKER_04: They should use some of it, but they don't use it the same way.
- 46:23SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 46:24SPEAKER_00: If they reference the same Bible, actually the ones who are trying to keep the book, the book exclusive to the priests and not to the people, and also they were the ones who were actually um killing and torturing followers of the way known as Christians.
- 46:35SPEAKER_04: Only was a Catholic school for basketball, and as you see, that did not work for me.
- 46:40SPEAKER_03: I think Catholic school is the best uh program for athletics.
- 46:44SPEAKER_04: That's all it should be.
- 46:45SPEAKER_04: And and honestly, it did it did help me mature a little bit in like in life.
- 46:48SPEAKER_04: You gotta dress up.
- 46:49SPEAKER_00: You gotta work that too.
- 46:50SPEAKER_00: You gotta be uniform every day.
- 46:51SPEAKER_00: You gotta be on time, you gotta pay.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: It definitely puts discipline to you, yeah, from what I heard.
- 46:54SPEAKER_04: Uh uh, other than that, uh What was the name of your school?
- 46:57SPEAKER_04: St.
- 46:57SPEAKER_04: What?
- 46:58SPEAKER_04: Nah, funny enough, I went to Cardinal Hayes.
- 46:59SPEAKER_04: I don't know what that means.
- 47:00SPEAKER_04: St.
- 47:00SPEAKER_04: Cardinal Hayes.
- 47:02SPEAKER_04: Cardinal Hayes in the Bronx.
- 47:03unknown: Cardinal.
- 47:03SPEAKER_04: Uh, we probably yeah, uh, you probably heard of it though.
- 47:06SPEAKER_04: They nice in basketball now.
- 47:08SPEAKER_04: Uh then you got St.
- 47:09SPEAKER_04: John, St.
- 47:09SPEAKER_04: Joe, St.
- 47:10SPEAKER_04: Joe City.
- 47:11SPEAKER_04: Nah.
- 47:12SPEAKER_04: Fuck that.
- 47:12SPEAKER_04: St.
- 47:13SPEAKER_04: Benedict Benedict?
- 47:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 47:14SPEAKER_04: St.
- 47:14SPEAKER_04: Benedict.
- 47:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they wanna, bro.
- 47:15SPEAKER_04: What was the question though?
- 47:16SPEAKER_04: Yeah, question.
- 47:17SPEAKER_04: Uh yeah, for that.
- 47:19SPEAKER_04: I think I was like, Oh no, it was my question.
- 47:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, why does the Bible shit on women so hard?
- 47:24SPEAKER_03: And then he wanted to know like what were the references.
- 47:26SPEAKER_03: I wanted to just start off off rip.
- 47:27SPEAKER_03: Eve is the only reason that women have periods.
- 47:29SPEAKER_00: Uh Eve definitely uh did women in honestly.
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: Um that was the thing is when you look at Adam and Eve, whatever they did has become a precedent for their offspring.
- 47:39SPEAKER_00: So all males have the same issues that Adam had, and all women have the same issues with Eve that Eve had.
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: And when Eve did what she did, um where she got basically gull, she was um basically swindled into you know influencing.
- 47:51SPEAKER_00: A black woman, the devil, yeah.
- 47:54SPEAKER_00: To this day, I just want to just make sure we all understand that.
- 47:57SPEAKER_00: Let me just put the disclaimer out.
- 48:00SPEAKER_00: I love all women, number one, not all of them, but I love women in general.
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: Thank you, my brother.
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: I only love women from the 12 tribes, you're and I respect women in general.
- 48:10SPEAKER_00: But let me just say this um women and men are different.
- 48:13SPEAKER_00: This idea, this new thing that they're trying to make us the same being is not true.
- 48:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we are not the same.
- 48:18SPEAKER_00: We we think differently, we have different biomechanics, we have different mentalities, we have different functions.
- 48:23SPEAKER_00: That's the key part, different functions.
- 48:25SPEAKER_00: The man being the one with more power physically, and also more of a more of a logical mind is supposed to be the head, the one who's leading.
- 48:35SPEAKER_00: It's not to say women are being put down, but they have to fulfill their role.
- 48:38SPEAKER_00: It's like basketball, and I say this to everyone.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: If we have a point guard, a shooting guard, a small forward, a power forward, a center, right?
- 48:44SPEAKER_00: And we talk about equality today, right?
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: That means that everyone gets the same amount of time at every position.
- 48:48SPEAKER_00: At some point, the center's gonna be the point guard, and the point guard's gonna be the center.
- 48:51SPEAKER_00: That's a losing too.
- 48:52SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 48:53SPEAKER_00: You're losing at that point.
- 48:54SPEAKER_00: Whereas me being the shorter player with more handles and the ability to control the ball movement, all that, I'm best suited to be the point guard.
- 49:02SPEAKER_00: This person's seven foot, whatever, and they're strong and powerful in all that they do in the paint, they should be the center.
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 49:07SPEAKER_00: So when women and men switch places in order to uh make us quote unquote equal, we end up losing as a team.
- 49:14SPEAKER_00: That's why a lot of women who are saying, I'm gonna do what I want to do by myself, are losing.
- 49:19SPEAKER_00: Their children are suffering, the society is being broken down.
- 49:22SPEAKER_00: So the the Bible is not really quote unquote like putting women down, it's really just telling them this is where you are supposed to be, this is where you function at your highest level, where you compliment the man, and the man compliments, protects, and dies for you.
- 49:34SPEAKER_00: And that's important to understand.
- 49:35SPEAKER_00: It's not so much about equality, equality is a lot.
- 49:37SPEAKER_00: You can have two twin children, they are not the same, they're not equal.
- 49:41SPEAKER_03: Just off top, like just off the top of your head, who's the who's the most like um praised woman in the book?
- 49:47SPEAKER_00: Most praised woman in the book.
- 49:48SPEAKER_03: Because most women that I have came across in the book, and this is women's argument, like to me when they're talking to me about uh Christianity, is that all the women characters in the Bible are portrayed negatively.
- 49:58SPEAKER_03: To me, it'd probably be between Mary Ruth and uh Esther.
- 50:06SPEAKER_00: Esther was very powerful too.
- 50:07SPEAKER_00: Uh Mary because of her obedience to the most high.
- 50:11SPEAKER_00: Number one.
- 50:12SPEAKER_00: They don't like that word obedience, right?
- 50:14SPEAKER_00: They don't like that word.
- 50:15SPEAKER_00: Esther because she stood in the gap for her people.
- 50:20SPEAKER_00: Um Ruth, because again, she she was able to be obedient to the laws of Naomi, which was her former mother-in-law, who told her what to do in order to be redeemed by uh.
- 50:31SPEAKER_03: Let me ask uh you two on the question.
- 50:33SPEAKER_03: Do these names sound like white names to you when you like first hear them?
- 50:36SPEAKER_03: Because that was my thing.
- 50:38SPEAKER_00: These names are just a pink oh I just know a black Ruth.
- 50:41SPEAKER_00: Remember, the Bible, the Bible is translated from Aramaic, Greek, and original Hebrew.
- 50:47SPEAKER_00: So the the letter J doesn't even expect in so like in z exist in uh in the original Hebrew.
- 50:55SPEAKER_04: When was the first Bible created?
- 50:56SPEAKER_00: Oh, so Godfrey's.
- 50:58SPEAKER_00: The first Bible that was compiled was actually Ethiopian, which was black people.
- 51:01SPEAKER_00: So the first Bible, hold on, let me say that again.
- 51:04SPEAKER_00: The first Bible that was compiled was Ethiopia, Africa, black people.
- 51:09SPEAKER_00: The first Bible that was compiled, put together, the books put together was in Ethiopia.
- 51:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, where you got that information.
- 51:16SPEAKER_00: That is a known fact.
- 51:18SPEAKER_00: They won't tell you.
- 51:19SPEAKER_00: That's why they call it the King James Version, even though King James himself was indeed black.
- 51:23SPEAKER_00: You cannot Google that.
- 51:24SPEAKER_00: You can't.
- 51:24SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 51:25SPEAKER_04: And what were people doing before this first bite?
- 51:28SPEAKER_04: Worshiping ancestors, dog.
- 51:30SPEAKER_04: Well, we start.
- 51:33SPEAKER_00: Originally, the most high was communicating with human beings way more openly than he is today.
- 51:37SPEAKER_00: We have like we have way more distractions.
- 51:39SPEAKER_00: We've been cut off the way we eat, everything has affected how we eat.
- 51:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 51:42SPEAKER_00: That that I could that I could definitely do.
- 51:44SPEAKER_00: It was more normal.
- 51:45SPEAKER_00: And also, people knew certain things.
- 51:46SPEAKER_00: Like when we have certain experiences today, we chop it up to mental health.
- 51:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's just a bad dream.
- 51:50SPEAKER_00: Back in ancient times in antiquity, we knew like, yo, that message you got in a dream.
- 51:54SPEAKER_00: That was either God or that was, you know, a demon.
- 51:58SPEAKER_00: But now, oh, it's just a bad dream and go back to sleep.
- 52:01SPEAKER_00: So we our communication has been destroyed, and 5G will destroy even more.
- 52:06SPEAKER_04: Now, this is my biggest thing with it.
- 52:09SPEAKER_03: This is where me and Godfrey kind of like always like, I want to say butt heads, because I look to him as my spiritual advisor because he's more well-versed than I am.
- 52:15SPEAKER_03: But Jonah and the whale.
- 52:18SPEAKER_03: Again.
- 52:19SPEAKER_03: I take these stories as allegories, bro.
- 52:21SPEAKER_03: Again.
- 52:22SPEAKER_03: And maybe I shouldn't.
- 52:23SPEAKER_03: But I it's hard for me to wrap my brain, but then you always tell me, you know, God is almighty.
- 52:28SPEAKER_03: Like, he can do it.
- 52:29SPEAKER_03: This is his fucking video game.
- 52:30SPEAKER_03: He could turn any, he can turn me into this cup right now if you wanted to.
- 52:35SPEAKER_03: So it's just hard, it's just like certain things, it's just hard for me to like take literal, but if I have to, I guess I have to.
- 52:42SPEAKER_00: I'll put it to you this way.
- 52:43SPEAKER_00: You don't even have to take that literal if you don't want to.
- 52:45SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 52:45SPEAKER_00: Let's look at it in allegory form.
- 52:46SPEAKER_00: So we have this man Jonah who's told and commanded by the most high to go and speak to a people and tell them about his judgments to come if they don't change.
- 52:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:53SPEAKER_00: He decides, I don't want to do that.
- 52:55SPEAKER_00: I don't really like those people.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: Sounds like some black people shit.
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: That's what a black friend is.
- 52:58SPEAKER_00: I've gone through that phase, it's called being a missing dog.
- 53:00SPEAKER_00: Where you're just like, I'm I don't care, they're not gonna listen anyway, so I'm not gonna do it.
- 53:04SPEAKER_00: But um, he decides not to go, so he ends up in the stomach of a fish, quote unquote, right?
- 53:08SPEAKER_00: The Lord ends up bringing him all the way back to those people anyway.
- 53:12SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 53:13SPEAKER_00: But at the end of the day, if you are someone who has open communication with the most high, you're more responsible than the average person to do what he says.
- 53:19SPEAKER_00: That's the real theme of that book.
- 53:21SPEAKER_00: And then, I mean, if you do the historical, you know, history of it, you understand that the people of the city was Nineveh, they worship a fish, they worship a fish god.
- 53:28SPEAKER_00: So the fact that a big behind fish came up onto the beach and spit out a man, that made them listen to that.
- 53:34SPEAKER_00: You gotta be uh you gotta know, like you have to this is my thing.
- 53:37SPEAKER_00: We have to be more diligent about our scholar our scholarship and just reading and stuff like that as black people because that's where we hide all our history.
- 53:46SPEAKER_00: They'll look at us wild face when we sit in here just yelling and being emotional in the streets, and they're like, these fools don't even know who they are.
- 53:52SPEAKER_00: They don't know.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: And if we read and we just do a little research, like for instance, um, one of the plagues in Egypt was that the sun was blotted out, like it was dark for like 20 minutes clips.
- 54:03SPEAKER_00: If anyone knows anything about Egypt, they worship the sun.
- 54:06SPEAKER_00: That was the most high literally that was the most high flexing on Egypt, like yo, you want to worship the sun?
- 54:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, this is your God.
- 54:11SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna put the sun away for a little bit now.
- 54:13SPEAKER_00: I'm God.
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: So things like that add the context to why the most high was doing certain things.
- 54:19unknown: Okay.
- 54:20SPEAKER_00: I get it.
- 54:21SPEAKER_00: If you don't believe that there was actual fish that big and you can't survive in a fish, I get it.
- 54:26SPEAKER_03: But again, who am I to say that that's not possible?
- 54:29SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
- 54:30SPEAKER_03: Take humility to accept certain things.
- 54:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, who am I?
- 54:32SPEAKER_03: Um, let's just transition away from uh, you know, the scripture just for a little while.
- 54:36SPEAKER_03: Let's talk about some you know worldly things.
- 54:38SPEAKER_03: You guys brought to my attention that Kiki Palmer is in trouble for something.
- 54:41SPEAKER_01: She's in trouble.
- 54:42SPEAKER_03: Nah, I've seen the video, right?
- 54:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, man.
- 54:44SPEAKER_03: She was kissing a white man on the mouth.
- 54:47SPEAKER_04: That's what I don't even know if you want to call out a kiss.
- 54:49SPEAKER_04: That was like one of the most driest, wackiest, unseasoned.
- 54:54SPEAKER_00: There was a concerted effort.
- 54:58SPEAKER_00: I don't think the chicken was washed.
- 54:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like there's a concerted effort for the thing.
- 55:02SPEAKER_00: Push sisters into the hands of men of other nations.
- 55:05SPEAKER_00: No.
- 55:05SPEAKER_00: And um, it's not shamed the way that brothers are shamed for being with women of other nations.
- 55:10SPEAKER_03: Okay, so let's let's break this whole thing down.
- 55:14SPEAKER_03: So, you said black women don't get shamed the same way at all.
- 55:21SPEAKER_03: At all.
- 55:22SPEAKER_04: At all.
- 55:23SPEAKER_03: Unless you're Candace Owens, but go ahead and continue.
- 55:25SPEAKER_03: Okay, so you you guys feel as black men, we can't um you can do what you want to do as a black woman.
- 55:31SPEAKER_03: We can't kick it with the white women because um it's a lot of pushback.
- 55:34SPEAKER_00: No, it's definitely nothing.
- 55:35SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't I wouldn't promote that only because um of our current state.
- 55:39SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't say that you should be with specifically a white woman because of what's going on in the world, only because, you know, certain things can happen if you won't understand it, you might be put in a compromise situation.
- 55:50SPEAKER_00: But you're 100% right, we don't like we don't get the same exceptions at all.
- 55:55SPEAKER_03: Okay, so let me let me read you uh Miss Palmer's reasoning for the video that we saw about her putting her lips against the unseasoned chicken.
- 56:03SPEAKER_03: So rare footage of me in the process of becoming randomly suspicious of someone I trust because I struggle with distinguishing reality from my crippling anxiety and emotional trauma, upside down smiley face.
- 56:20SPEAKER_03: Now that sounded like some gibberish to me.
- 56:22SPEAKER_03: I read it a couple of times.
- 56:24SPEAKER_03: Um I really don't know what she was trying to say, but the comments from black women are real power.
- 56:31SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
- 56:32SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
- 56:32SPEAKER_03: That's all this is this is the first comment.
- 56:34SPEAKER_03: This comment has the most likes.
- 56:36SPEAKER_03: This is on Twitter, though.
- 56:37unknown: Okay.
- 56:37SPEAKER_03: Y'all expect her to date a black man.
- 56:40SPEAKER_04: I don't know exactly, but I've been going on.
- 56:41SPEAKER_04: I've seen those two.
- 56:42SPEAKER_03: Please continue.
- 56:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, when um August, um August El Cena downright disrespected her for absolutely nothing.
- 56:50SPEAKER_03: August El Cena apparently speaks for all black men.
- 56:52SPEAKER_04: Okay, okay, great.
- 56:54SPEAKER_04: That's gonna be more things.
- 56:55SPEAKER_04: That's great.
- 56:56SPEAKER_04: That's great.
- 56:58SPEAKER_04: So I'm just gonna start off by saying uh I'm a black man that loves all races of women.
- 57:04SPEAKER_04: I can't do that.
- 57:04SPEAKER_04: Why can't I?
- 57:05SPEAKER_04: According to the book, all women tribes.
- 57:11SPEAKER_03: White women are on that.
- 57:13SPEAKER_03: I don't know, nigga crazy.
- 57:14SPEAKER_03: Moses was married to a woman who wasn't on the 12 tribes.
- 57:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, see, I'm I'm trying to be like Moses.
- 57:18SPEAKER_00: You see, I think he was trying to be like she was dark skin, though.
- 57:22SPEAKER_00: She was eating uh.
- 57:23SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
- 57:23SPEAKER_04: I think I think God makes a lot of exceptions.
- 57:28SPEAKER_04: I think God makes a lot of exceptions.
- 57:30SPEAKER_04: I'm sorry.
- 57:34SPEAKER_04: Uh I'm a black man that loves all colors and shapes of women.
- 57:40SPEAKER_04: This is why this upsets me because when I see any black man deal with a white woman, yeah, deals with a white woman, the comments are highly disrespectful.
- 57:52SPEAKER_04: And it puts the narrative on black men uh don't protect black women just because they date outside of their race.
- 58:01SPEAKER_00: And it's not even again, that's not every black man.
- 58:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, not 80, I think 85 to 87% of black men are with black women.
- 58:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, aren't we like the highest?
- 58:11SPEAKER_00: No, no, Asians aren't though.
- 58:12SPEAKER_00: We're the highest in spending time with our children.
- 58:14SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 58:14SPEAKER_00: Quietest kept.
- 58:16SPEAKER_00: Black men spends the most time with his children of all the other races.
- 58:18SPEAKER_03: So them jokes is fucked, it's because we don't got kids.
- 58:20SPEAKER_03: It's a big lie.
- 58:21SPEAKER_03: The black women I hear what y'all are saying, bro.
- 58:29SPEAKER_03: But I just want to I'm gonna be on the side of black women because somebody asked me.
- 58:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 58:32SPEAKER_03: Please do.
- 58:33SPEAKER_03: Please do.
- 58:34SPEAKER_03: I'm not, I'm I'll pick my side.
- 58:35SPEAKER_03: I got you.
- 58:36SPEAKER_03: I was upset.
- 58:37SPEAKER_03: They um they they have a point because the black man, the white woman is a sign of I'm out of poverty.
- 58:44SPEAKER_03: I made it.
- 58:45SPEAKER_03: That's not true.
- 58:46SPEAKER_00: Nick Cannon said that, and we don't like Nick Cannon is uh one of those dudes who's like, like, nah, he's not, he doesn't represent us.
- 58:52SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 58:52SPEAKER_00: I hear what you're saying though, but it's not that's not the mentality of a lot of of black men when it comes to.
- 58:57SPEAKER_03: You don't think so?
- 58:57SPEAKER_03: Did y'all see CJ McCullum's uh girlfriend?
- 58:59SPEAKER_03: He just uh proposed to Google that real fast.
- 59:02SPEAKER_03: She is as white as this table.
- 59:04SPEAKER_03: And he maybe maybe he was using scriptures to describe what this woman has done with look her up.
- 59:11SPEAKER_03: I'm dead ass seriously.
- 59:13SPEAKER_04: Maybe maybe with the black woman's argument.
- 59:15SPEAKER_04: That's why I sent that picture of him.
- 59:17SPEAKER_04: You know what it is?
- 59:17SPEAKER_04: It's what's promoted.
- 59:19SPEAKER_04: But where is he from?
- 59:21SPEAKER_04: I don't know, nigga.
- 59:22SPEAKER_04: Because this is my argument with Patrick Mahomes.
- 59:24SPEAKER_04: Like, I don't, I'm not upset with him because he dates a black, I mean a white woman.
- 59:29SPEAKER_04: Like, you should be able to love who you want to love.
- 59:31SPEAKER_04: I know that's gonna upset some people, but you should love who you want to love.
- 59:34SPEAKER_03: Why the rich black guys gotta love who they love?
- 59:37SPEAKER_03: Why the broke niggas always with black women?
- 59:39SPEAKER_00: That's not even true though, because it's what's promoted on on television to you, but like let's talk about LeBron James.
- 59:44SPEAKER_00: Why nobody's gonna be able to do it?
- 59:46SPEAKER_00: Talk about Carmelo Anthony.
- 59:47SPEAKER_00: Exception to Western.
- 59:49SPEAKER_00: With the game with a white ones, Russell Westbrook.
- 59:52SPEAKER_03: Exceptions to the rule.
- 59:53SPEAKER_03: Now name all name all hundreds of other players.
- 59:55SPEAKER_03: CP3.
- 59:57SPEAKER_03: You haven't even hit Michael Jordan.
- 59:59SPEAKER_03: Nah, nah, Michael Jordan.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_00: He has his daughter's black.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_03: Oh, he's married to the last other time.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_00: But we're talking about how the one he was playing, he went to Michael Jordan.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_00: When he was at his beak, that's because he had to back then.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_00: But it's a political show.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_00: But what they want to show us though is oh, oh, look at look at CJ McCullum or look at this person.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_00: I'm like, dude, like that's those guys.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_00: And that they don't represent all of us again.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah, I think that's a good thing.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_00: The average black dude is with a sister.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_04: CJ McCollum's fucking Ohio, Kenton, Ohio.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_04: Thomas LeBron.
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_04: Akron.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_01: He's an acronym.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_01: Akron.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_01: Goodness.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_00: He stayed with Shorty, like, come on, man.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_00: What are we talking about here?
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_03: Like, I don't know, man.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_03: Black women might have an argument here.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_03: So this goes back to what I was saying.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_04: It's fine.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_04: It's fine if they do have an argument, but the thing is.
- 1:00:48SPEAKER_04: Don't shame black people.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_04: Yeah, don't shame.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_04: Because when when obviously one of you, one of your black fellow black women choose a white man, the energy is not the same.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_04: I've literally seen straight positivity, which is great.
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_04: I think that's exactly what should be happening.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_04: You see somebody that I guess you feel you're friends with because none of these women know Kiki Palmer.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_00: So maybe they feel like they really like close homegirls with in their 20s and going into their 30s, they grew up with Kiki, so they identified.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_00: Even Beyonce and Jay-Z are both both black, so I don't understand why you take a page out of Kiki.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_00: So what I'm talking about.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_00: I don't like what niggas do this.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_03: You don't know.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_03: I don't think Jake is a cuck, man.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_03: I don't think so.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_03: I don't think so.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_03: If he was, so that's all.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_03: I wonder why you think so.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_03: I just feel like at that level of You see the way she looks at LeBron?
- 1:01:49SPEAKER_03: Rihanna was looking at the both of them.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_03: She doesn't want to know.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_03: Rihanna's different.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_04: She's just like, why doesn't Rihanna have any children?
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_04: I double I do love Rihanna.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_04: She sold her uterus.
- 1:01:58SPEAKER_04: The mother's Guyana.
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_03: Nah, let me stop.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_00: The mother's in Guyana.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_03: That's uh yeah, um Rihanna doesn't have any children because she's uh feminist.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_04: She's doing her, right?
- 1:02:08SPEAKER_00: That's what they say, right?
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_04: Don't you run out of time as a woman?
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_04: They forget about that.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_00: How long you gonna do you?
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_00: They do, but they don't promote that in the media.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_00: They just do what you want to do.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_00: So you're 38.
- 1:02:18SPEAKER_00: Women were logical, they know like, yo, I need to do this before I can't have kids anymore.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_03: Nah, I'm telling you, my girl.
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_00: If you don't want to tell me that same thing, take a page out of Gabriel Union's book.
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, she struggled, dog.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_03: She struggled.
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_03: She has all money.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_03: Imagine you being an average medium income home and you're 38 trying to get pregnant.
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_03: That man's gonna move on.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_03: That's how that works.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_03: He could keep shooting.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_03: He can shoot for the rest of his life.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_03: That's the problem.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_00: I fully believe in like women like you know pursuing their careers and stuff, but you have to do it with Well, there's a balance.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_00: With balance and logic.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_00: You have to understand, like, yo, I have a certain time frame before I can't have children as much, or it's easy.
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_00: You have to make the right move, but you know.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_03: Don't misquote me.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_03: I mean, don't quote me, but I think after the age of 35, every year the percent of your child coming out with autism goes up by 1%.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_03: So 36, 1%.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_03: 37, that's 2%.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_03: 38, that's like you add a percent.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_00: Also, women have a set amount of eggs, they produce them.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_00: I didn't even know that.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_00: I didn't even have an unlimited amount of stuff.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_03: I didn't know that women can get checked, literally, a micro.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_03: Oh, you only got 13 and you just left.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_03: So every period you lose in one.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_03: I didn't know I thought it was unlimited two until a certain age, but they literally have a number that you're born with.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you're born with a certain amount of eggs, like a chicken.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_03: That's how you can jump off.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_03: I'm a feminist.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_03: I'm a feminist.
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_03: I'm a feminist.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_03: I can say whatever I want.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_03: I don't think that's a chill.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_03: That's literally my ship.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_03: Because look, look, the definition of being a feminist is believing that uh women are not subhuman.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_03: That's it.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_03: Then I'm a feminist.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_03: That's my that's my point.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_03: That's my point.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_03: No, that's not the definition.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_00: But it goes along those lines.
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_00: First of all, let me say that feminists are not even united in what they believe.
- 1:04:03SPEAKER_00: There's different like factions.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like third wave feminism.
- 1:04:05SPEAKER_00: There are some that believe that believe in pro-life, some that believe in pro-choice.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_00: You have some that believe they're trying to help men and women is something that only prioritize women.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_00: Like they're not even organized as an actual word.
- 1:04:15SPEAKER_03: Can I keep it funk with you?
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_03: Feminism was created because the black man could vote.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_03: And the white women were like, wait, first of all, I heard you let vote before me.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_03: And they were like, nah, we're all gonna band together and we're gonna also get the right to vote.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_03: Also, why Susan V.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_03: Anthony was a racist.
- 1:04:35SPEAKER_03: Like straight up.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_00: And Margaret Singer, but we don't have that conversation, you know, it's whatever.
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm telling you, man, like if you really look at history through the the text of like biblical text, bro, this shit is literally all written.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_03: And that's the craziest part to me.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_03: And that's what like I can never sway from scripture.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I can't do it.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_03: Like, I can't not be myself.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_03: Like, I literally see myself and the characters in the just look at the Bible, bro, and read that shit.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_03: That's what I'll be believed.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_03: This is some black shit.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_03: This is all nigga shit.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_03: I'm reading this shit.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_03: I'm just like, nah, this is nigga shit, bro.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_03: Like, you literally, your dad is telling you lie, don't do that.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_03: And you were like, you know what, me and my homies, we're gonna do that anyways.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_03: And then you get tight, you get punished.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_03: Like, that's literally what the book is.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_03: It's just a series of black men not paying attention to their dads.
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_03: Listen to their fathers.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_03: Now we fathers.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_03: That's literally what it is.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_00: The parallel is so obvious.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_00: You cannot make this.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_00: You gotta get back to it.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_00: So what scripture has a strip club in it?
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_00: Um, Moses is wrong.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_00: Just look up David.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_00: Read read first, second Samuel.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_00: David got in a lot of trouble because of that.
- 1:05:36SPEAKER_00: But let me just say something to all brothers.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_00: There's no strip club.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_00: If you're the king, yo, if you're the king, the world is your strip club, right?
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_00: Um, let me say something real quick for all the brothers.
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_00: If you want some real spiritual therapy, the book of Proverbs is written almost so specifically to men.
- 1:05:52SPEAKER_00: Read that book.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_00: Proverbs.
- 1:05:54SPEAKER_00: It's a father talking to his son through the entire book.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_00: Read that book.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_00: It's therapy for black men specifically.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_00: All men, you know, organizationally, but anyone can read it.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_00: So it's also for the proverbs.
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_03: I think all black men have a problem with we have daddy issues.
- 1:06:10SPEAKER_03: I don't know where it comes from, but it's written, bro.
- 1:06:13SPEAKER_03: Like spiritual, bro.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, my dad is in my life, and I still, you know, have that issue.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_03: Like, I don't know what it is or what it comes from, but it's just it's a part of me, bro.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_03: Shit is shit is it's crazy.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_03: Uh, just like how we always come back to the book.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_03: This is this is dope.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_03: Um, I had a question, right?
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_03: And this comes from um, it was kind of stemmed from the Halloween thing.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_03: So Toon sent me a picture.
- 1:06:36SPEAKER_03: Um I it's if we do this thing as as friends, is if he seen it, I have to see it.
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_03: No matter what, how nasty it is, this is how annoying it is.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_03: I'm not in on that.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_03: You gotta see it now.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_03: Talk about it.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_04: But I'm gonna I'm gonna see if I can find it right now.
- 1:06:50SPEAKER_03: Now you've been indoctrinated into our thing.
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_03: So if you ever come across some shit on the internet that you unfortunately saw, you have every right to send it to me, and I can't be upset.
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_03: That's the rule.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_03: If I seen it, you gotta see it.
- 1:07:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah, this shit, I'll tell you right now, is pretty much Little Nas X for Halloween.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_00: He dressed up as Nicki Minaj.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_00: See, that's um, those are one of the most that's one of the most destructive images I've ever seen.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_00: Like, that's a young black male, young, rich black man woman.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_00: And um, I know a lot of people were like, oh, let him express himself and all that stuff, but I'm like, yo, dude.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_03: That's a man.
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_03: What are we doing right now?
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_03: That's somebody's son.
- 1:07:25unknown: Yeah.
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_03: So then I sat down and Toon said, I honestly would rather have a daughter.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_03: And I thought to myself, I have a son currently.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_03: I thought to myself, I was like, yo, in this era, it is hard as a raise a boy.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_03: Yo.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_03: It is.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_03: I was I thought I had it easy.
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I was praying on my knees for a boy forever.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_03: I just want all boys.
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_03: Like, I want 13 boys.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_00: It depends on where you are in the country, man.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_04: And then I'm like, you can't hide this from your children.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_04: The stuff that's on this phone, well, the apps.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_04: But what you can do is warn them ahead of time and tell them what which they're what they're doing.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_04: But it I just think that these children are definitely exposed to way too much for them to be able to be like, you know what?
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_04: Maybe my father's wrong.
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_03: So the first maybe my father's wrong.
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_03: The reason why I thought having a boy was easy was because I had solely two jobs.
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_03: One to make sure he ain't gay.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_03: And two, to make sure, to make sure that he reads the book.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_03: Those is my only that's to me that she's pretty easy.
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_03: One is biological.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_03: But like I really don't have to do much with one of them.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_03: Like you just like what you like because you're here to produce.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_03: The second thing is a little harder, you know.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_03: I don't want to read this shit.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_03: Like that's a little harder.
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_03: But those two, it's just two jobs.
- 1:08:42SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:08:43SPEAKER_03: Everything else is he's gonna experience, he's gonna bump his head, and that's like he's gonna break his arm.
- 1:08:46SPEAKER_03: That's what boys do.
- 1:08:48SPEAKER_03: I thought that women, there was like a laundry list of things that I gotta worry out for.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_03: I gotta be careful.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_03: Her first yeah, women are it's right there.
- 1:08:55SPEAKER_03: So like you go on prom.
- 1:08:57SPEAKER_03: I gotta make sure this dude is not trying to like stick it in you, and then I gotta put it in the back of my mind that someday some dude has to stick it in you.
- 1:09:02SPEAKER_03: That's how this works.
- 1:09:03SPEAKER_03: So it's things like that.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_03: But then now that I sit down and think about it, that might be easier.
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_03: Then this, yo, little Nazi.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_03: It's like, what if my son is?
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_03: That's his favorite artist.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_03: What do I do?
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_00: I believe in preventative medicine.
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_03: Nah, but it's you can't stop your kids from liking what they like, bro.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_04: Can you send them to school?
- 1:09:20SPEAKER_04: When you send your child to school, that's literally all that playground.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, old town road was not made for us.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_00: I will tell you that.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_00: That's something I thought about.
- 1:09:28SPEAKER_00: Like, you can raise your kids to the best, and they just run into a really poorly raised kid, and that can change their kid.
- 1:09:34SPEAKER_00: However, I'm a proponent and I fully believe in like a lot of us going into the homeschooling idea.
- 1:09:39SPEAKER_00: It might not start immediately, like you might not be able to get them in from kindergarten, but as soon as you have the means, we might have to do that.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_00: Or even start like village schools.
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_00: Like, yo, we all know we send them all to AG's house, and we know they're gonna get good teaching, the same teaching.
- 1:09:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:52SPEAKER_00: But I understand what you're saying.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_00: It probably is harder to raise a son.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_04: Yo, the argument against that is just that like you see how you feel like you could prevent that.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_04: I done ran into a lot of hoes because they their fathers or their mothers were trying to prevent.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_03: I'm cool with my daughter being a hoe at this point.
- 1:10:10SPEAKER_03: I honestly I think so.
- 1:10:13SPEAKER_03: What would you hold on?
- 1:10:14SPEAKER_03: Look at that picture, little objects.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_03: What would you rather?
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_03: Your son like that, or your daughter doing what she's gonna do anyway.
- 1:10:20SPEAKER_00: The idea of that.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_00: That doesn't even cross my mind.
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_00: That's the I don't fathom that ever being my son.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_00: Me either.
- 1:10:26SPEAKER_04: Me either, but you think his father, you think his father's dad don't the same name.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_04: Hey, you know what?
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna name you with a big one.
- 1:10:33SPEAKER_00: His father's black.
- 1:10:35SPEAKER_00: Clearly.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_00: We not the same man or men.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_00: No, you can't do that.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_02: You gotta stop doing that.
- 1:10:42SPEAKER_03: I don't believe in equality.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_03: You don't know I got ten dollars his dad ain't in his life.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_03: Ten dollars.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_03: Shut up.
- 1:10:50SPEAKER_03: You can have a bad father.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_03: That's his mom.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_03: His mom racist.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_04: He could probably come.
- 1:10:53SPEAKER_04: So that's what I'm saying.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_04: So what's wrong with this guy and then the kid that's out there drilling but got two exact parents?
- 1:11:00SPEAKER_03: I got so it's even.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_00: How many of those do you have though?
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_00: Well, little Nas X.
- 1:11:05SPEAKER_00: No, like the two parents.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_00: Brooklyn Wallin drilling like they're like good parents.
- 1:11:10SPEAKER_00: He said he was in there.
- 1:11:11SPEAKER_03: What the hop smoke?
- 1:11:13SPEAKER_03: Lived in a house.
- 1:11:15SPEAKER_03: Yo, I am 26 years old.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_03: I'm finally in the house.
- 1:11:19SPEAKER_03: That nigga was in the house at fucking 17.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm gonna be doing about the house at 17?
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_03: When am I going outside?
- 1:11:27SPEAKER_03: I haven't left my house in months.
- 1:11:29SPEAKER_00: Apparently, ex father.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_00: Look at the picture on the right, also.
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_00: He dressed.
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_03: Don't do that, don't do that.
- 1:11:44SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:11:50SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be like two shades like worse.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_00: But I just want you to focus on the other picture.
- 1:11:55SPEAKER_00: The one with yo, that's a grown man.
- 1:11:57SPEAKER_03: Nah, he's wildin'.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_00: He has what kind of headphones are those around his neck?
- 1:12:02SPEAKER_03: Nah, he's wildin'.
- 1:12:03SPEAKER_00: Nah, bro.
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_00: JBL shit.
- 1:12:06SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
- 1:12:06SPEAKER_00: And what and what uh what hat what hat is that?
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_03: That's a Falcons.
- 1:12:12SPEAKER_00: What state is that?
- 1:12:12SPEAKER_00: Nah, nah, Atlanta.
- 1:12:15SPEAKER_00: Don't say no mice.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_03: You just making shit up.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_03: Nah, Atlanta.
- 1:12:19SPEAKER_03: What are you talking about?
- 1:12:20SPEAKER_03: Atlanta, bro.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_00: Atlanta.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_00: You never know what you're gonna get.
- 1:12:25SPEAKER_00: I know what I'm gonna get.
- 1:12:27SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna get out.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_04: There's a lot of good shit going on in Atlanta, though.
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_04: I understand.
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_04: That man is either Caribbean or he's from Atlanta.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_00: He's not Caribbean.
- 1:12:38SPEAKER_00: No Caribbean man can last in Atlanta.
- 1:12:40SPEAKER_03: Get out of here.
- 1:12:41SPEAKER_03: We never settled there.
- 1:12:42SPEAKER_03: We do coasts.
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_03: We always need some water.
- 1:12:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we don't do that shit, though.
- 1:12:46SPEAKER_03: Atlanta, Atlanta ain't on the coast.
- 1:12:50SPEAKER_03: That gotta be.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_03: You think so?
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_03: I don't know much about Atlanta.
- 1:12:52SPEAKER_03: Yes, it is.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to do it.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_00: But it's Georgia.
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_03: Isn't Georgia landlocked?
- 1:12:55SPEAKER_03: Nah, I think.
- 1:12:56SPEAKER_00: No, Georgia, I think, is on the coast.
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_00: It is?
- 1:12:59SPEAKER_00: What's the coastal southern city?
- 1:13:01SPEAKER_04: Matt, Florida, what South Carolina, North Carolina.
- 1:13:04SPEAKER_04: That's mad.
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_04: I think Virginia's landlord.
- 1:13:06SPEAKER_03: But there's a reason.
- 1:13:06SPEAKER_03: I don't hear a lot of Caribbean influences in Atlanta, though.
- 1:13:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Atlanta's a black American place.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_00: It used to be slaves in Atlanta.
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_03: Goffrey's right about that.
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_03: There's not a lot of Caribbean influence in Atlanta.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_03: They definitely go up to New York.
- 1:13:20SPEAKER_03: No, it's New York, Florida, Cali a little bit.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_03: Nah, there's not a lot of big influence.
- 1:13:27SPEAKER_03: That's pretty interesting.
- 1:13:28SPEAKER_03: But yeah, just to bring the conversation full circle.
- 1:13:32SPEAKER_03: I honestly am gonna side with Toon, and now I'm terrified.
- 1:13:35SPEAKER_03: I look at my son every day.
- 1:13:36SPEAKER_03: I'm like, yo, bro, you do this way.
- 1:13:40SPEAKER_00: If the most high assigned a son to you, that means you're capable of raising a son.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_00: What?
- 1:13:45SPEAKER_00: If the most high gave you a son, what did I say that was wild?
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_00: Like, if you were given a son, you're capable of raising a son.
- 1:13:52SPEAKER_04: Nah, I understand.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_04: But what makes you not capable?
- 1:13:57SPEAKER_04: You weren't given a son.
- 1:13:58SPEAKER_04: Absentee.
- 1:13:59SPEAKER_04: Alright, put it this way.
- 1:14:00SPEAKER_04: So but alright, so whatever we were just discussing about little Nas X doing whatever he just did, is his father his father wasn't capable or was he capable?
- 1:14:10SPEAKER_04: He was capable.
- 1:14:12SPEAKER_04: He was given a son.
- 1:14:13SPEAKER_00: He was signed his son.
- 1:14:14SPEAKER_00: He didn't apply.
- 1:14:15SPEAKER_00: Listen, I'm not gonna sit there and talk on his father.
- 1:14:17SPEAKER_00: I don't know the actual relationship.
- 1:14:19SPEAKER_00: That's what I was trying to get.
- 1:14:19SPEAKER_00: I don't know if he raised his son or not.
- 1:14:20SPEAKER_00: I don't.
- 1:14:21SPEAKER_00: But what I will say, like, is you you could have done something to stop that.
- 1:14:27SPEAKER_00: Nah, they have something.
- 1:14:28SPEAKER_04: You just said with the Bible, right?
- 1:14:30SPEAKER_04: It's like a father talking to his son, and yeah, the son obviously does something wrong, so he gets punished.
- 1:14:35SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 1:14:35SPEAKER_04: So I mean punishment.
- 1:14:40SPEAKER_04: He's a grown man.
- 1:14:41SPEAKER_04: He's rich too.
- 1:14:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:14:42SPEAKER_04: He ain't punished.
- 1:14:44SPEAKER_00: Listen, if you instill the right standards in your son, like he'll go up to those, he'll have situations like, yo, listen, all you have to do is put on this dress and do this, and we'll give you this much money.
- 1:14:53SPEAKER_00: The standards in his in his like that have been still in the world.
- 1:14:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but Murphy's really gay.
- 1:14:57SPEAKER_00: Dick.
- 1:15:00SPEAKER_00: I can't speak to that.
- 1:15:01SPEAKER_04: I really think it'd be that simple.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_04: I can't speak to that.
- 1:15:02SPEAKER_04: But boys, it's like, no, no.
- 1:15:04SPEAKER_04: I'm not I personally don't believe that.
- 1:15:06SPEAKER_04: It don't be that simple.
- 1:15:07SPEAKER_03: No, I don't think so.
- 1:15:08SPEAKER_03: People get compromised, bro.
- 1:15:09SPEAKER_03: Money is a powerful tool, bro.
- 1:15:10SPEAKER_03: See, did we not watch that Diddy video?
- 1:15:13SPEAKER_03: Right, you're in the media.
- 1:15:14SPEAKER_04: That media gay shit, yeah.
- 1:15:15SPEAKER_04: I've seen that being a good idea.
- 1:15:16SPEAKER_04: Nori said there's two doors.
- 1:15:19SPEAKER_03: I don't know how Nori's still breathing after he said that.
- 1:15:21SPEAKER_03: Because he's independent on that Drink Champs podcast.
- 1:15:24SPEAKER_03: He has a lot of networks and people know him.
- 1:15:26SPEAKER_03: He said there's two doors.
- 1:15:28SPEAKER_00: And a lot of rappers have actually gotten in front of that whole quote unquote Illuminati thing by just like basically slandering it.
- 1:15:34SPEAKER_00: Like people say I'm a Luminati.
- 1:15:36SPEAKER_00: Who was that who said that?
- 1:15:36SPEAKER_00: Rick Ross?
- 1:15:37SPEAKER_00: They think I'm a Luminati.
- 1:15:39SPEAKER_00: I think Jay-Z said that.
- 1:15:40SPEAKER_04: A lot of people got a bar like that too.
- 1:15:42SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:15:42SPEAKER_00: He got a tweet, actually.
- 1:15:43SPEAKER_00: That's how you do it.
- 1:15:44SPEAKER_00: Like if someone makes a rumor about you, you just repeat the rumor until people are like, oh yeah, it's probably gonna be true.
- 1:15:49SPEAKER_03: Can I keep it real with y'all?
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_03: One of the main like motivations for me in life of making it is literally just to see what's behind the curtain.
- 1:15:56SPEAKER_03: I literally want to see what you see too much, bro.
- 1:15:58SPEAKER_03: I want to see what's going on.
- 1:15:59SPEAKER_03: I gotta see Diddy doing some gay shit.
- 1:16:03SPEAKER_03: I gotta see it.
- 1:16:04SPEAKER_03: I want to party party with him.
- 1:16:05SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna take it up.
- 1:16:06SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna uh let's party.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_03: Come back to this room.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_03: I ain't gonna do no gay shit, but I want to see you do some gay shit.
- 1:16:12SPEAKER_03: That'll be so I can tell my homies not out everything they say.
- 1:16:15SPEAKER_00: We see your man's walk into the room with Diddy and he doesn't come out like Nah man.
- 1:16:19SPEAKER_03: He comes out rich.
- 1:16:20SPEAKER_03: Now I know what happened.
- 1:16:22SPEAKER_03: We're not gonna believe this, bro.
- 1:16:23SPEAKER_03: We lit.
- 1:16:25SPEAKER_04: I'm not even mad at him.
- 1:16:27SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 1:16:29SPEAKER_04: No, he has to take that up with God, not me.
- 1:16:31SPEAKER_04: I like to live rich because my man's do some wild shit.
- 1:16:34SPEAKER_03: I can't sleep at night knowing my man's didn't.
- 1:16:36SPEAKER_03: Nah, but your man's gonna be a scammer though, right?
- 1:16:39SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 1:16:43SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 1:16:45SPEAKER_03: That's weird.
- 1:16:46SPEAKER_03: You can't look at him the same at the time.
- 1:16:49SPEAKER_03: I ain't gonna look at him.
- 1:16:51SPEAKER_03: He's handing you that money, like, hey man.
- 1:16:53SPEAKER_03: That's crazy, man.
- 1:16:53SPEAKER_03: Tune up in my eye.
- 1:16:58SPEAKER_03: They go dance in front of you.
- 1:17:00SPEAKER_03: You gonna stop shaking this shit.
- 1:17:01SPEAKER_03: Are you shaking?
- 1:17:03SPEAKER_04: I guess it's obvious at this point I ain't signing to bad boys, man.
- 1:17:06SPEAKER_04: It's over, man.
- 1:17:07SPEAKER_04: That's fine.
- 1:17:07SPEAKER_04: But would you though?
- 1:17:08SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't.
- 1:17:09SPEAKER_04: You should.
- 1:17:09SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't sign to him.
- 1:17:10SPEAKER_04: I don't think you should sign a big book.
- 1:17:12SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I wouldn't sign to him, Birdman, or um, yeah, him or Birdman.
- 1:17:15SPEAKER_00: Birdman will do your taxes right though.
- 1:17:17SPEAKER_04: I ain't never getting paid, man.
- 1:17:18SPEAKER_04: Damn push.
- 1:17:19SPEAKER_03: You get a um at a Bugatti.
- 1:17:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:17:23SPEAKER_03: You know that's how they do with these young dudes?
- 1:17:25SPEAKER_03: Like they just give them gifts.
- 1:17:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:17:26SPEAKER_03: They give them shit that they got for free like three years ago.
- 1:17:28SPEAKER_03: Like, I don't even drive this shit.
- 1:17:30SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, I got a new artist.
- 1:17:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, take this.
- 1:17:31SPEAKER_03: But do you remember that deal you signed?
- 1:17:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm getting all that money.
- 1:17:34SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna be honest.
- 1:17:34SPEAKER_00: When I found out all that stuff about Lil Wayne's situation, that dream really broke my heart.
- 1:17:37SPEAKER_00: Now it's sad.
- 1:17:38SPEAKER_00: I was in college at the time when I was bumping Lil Wayne, and y'all, that guy was when he said he was the best rapper alive.
- 1:17:44SPEAKER_00: I believed him.
- 1:17:45SPEAKER_00: And at that time, he definitely was.
- 1:17:46SPEAKER_04: I remember when I thought Lil Wayne was uh Birdman's biological son.
- 1:17:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:17:50SPEAKER_03: And I remember they kissed in the mouth.
- 1:17:51SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 1:17:52SPEAKER_03: It was a big deal.
- 1:17:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:17:54SPEAKER_03: Now that shit is regular.
- 1:17:55SPEAKER_03: That was a problem to me.
- 1:17:56SPEAKER_03: No, people was on some nah.
- 1:17:57SPEAKER_03: That's what the mob does.
- 1:17:58SPEAKER_03: If the mob could do it, why can't if the mob can kiss each other in the mouth, why can't, you know.
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_00: How they how they say in the creepy house?
- 1:18:05SPEAKER_01: If your if your brother, if your your friend jump off the bridge, you gonna jump off the bridge?
- 1:18:08SPEAKER_01: Nah, no, I can't mind kissing them.
- 1:18:10SPEAKER_01: Nah, we're not doing that.
- 1:18:11SPEAKER_01: And they hit you with the yeah, yes, mommy.
- 1:18:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but um, I don't know, man.
- 1:18:17SPEAKER_03: Like, you guys uh, you know, elder statesmen.
- 1:18:20SPEAKER_03: You guys uh gonna look to settle down soon.
- 1:18:23SPEAKER_03: I prayed for a son.
- 1:18:24SPEAKER_03: I think y'all should do the opposite.
- 1:18:26SPEAKER_03: I want to I just want to do that.
- 1:18:28SPEAKER_03: I don't know, it's hard, bro.
- 1:18:29SPEAKER_04: You got a daughter.
- 1:18:30SPEAKER_03: Oh, you want a daughter though?
- 1:18:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah, at this point, yeah.
- 1:18:32SPEAKER_04: Why?
- 1:18:33SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_03: Or is it something you're gonna do?
- 1:18:35SPEAKER_03: I ain't got no sisters, it's currently acceptable.
- 1:18:38SPEAKER_04: We're cousins.
- 1:18:39SPEAKER_03: Oh, so you just want to add more women to your family.
- 1:18:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and I think I think at this point having a daughter would be a good idea.
- 1:18:44SPEAKER_04: I think we need we need more soldiers, I have man.
- 1:18:47SPEAKER_00: I'm having strong men.
- 1:18:49SPEAKER_00: And we have a responsibility to raise strong men.
- 1:18:52SPEAKER_00: We need to do that.
- 1:18:52SPEAKER_00: If you know you're a strong man, you need to raise at least one.
- 1:18:55SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 1:18:56SPEAKER_00: Like, we need to pass that mentality that that lifestyle on of like, yo, regardless of what the world's doing, I'm gonna stand firm in what I believe.
- 1:19:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's tough.
- 1:19:06SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 1:19:07SPEAKER_00: Like that's a that's a whole mentality.
- 1:19:09SPEAKER_00: We love that in all the animes and all the movies we watch.
- 1:19:11SPEAKER_03: Like that character's like, but that's hard to do in real life, bro.
- 1:19:13SPEAKER_00: It is hard to do in real life.
- 1:19:14SPEAKER_04: What if I die for something and I don't make it to heaven?
- 1:19:20SPEAKER_00: You see how like you want me to uh I'm not talking about like no social stuff, like those things, you know.
- 1:19:26SPEAKER_00: Oh no, I gotta like fight for like when your stance is like yo, listen, like I'm serving the most high, period.
- 1:19:31SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:33SPEAKER_00: Now the things that come with serving the most high will, you know, go go to go counter culture, but you gotta stand on that.
- 1:19:40SPEAKER_00: But that's again that's a that's a you and most high question, I guess, between y'all two.
- 1:19:44SPEAKER_04: I think we're I just want to make sure God forbid if I do die for something, I'll make it to happen.
- 1:19:49SPEAKER_04: That's my man.
- 1:19:50SPEAKER_04: I can't guarantee that I'm not gonna be able to do that.
- 1:19:52SPEAKER_04: I'm not the bouncer of the gates.
- 1:19:53SPEAKER_04: That's what I'm gonna do.
- 1:19:54SPEAKER_04: You talk to me.
- 1:19:55SPEAKER_04: That's all I'm saying.
- 1:19:58SPEAKER_04: I'm not getting that.
- 1:19:59SPEAKER_04: Ain't all the bad bitches are getting.
- 1:20:00SPEAKER_04: I mean, excuse me.
- 1:20:02SPEAKER_04: You can say that.
- 1:20:03SPEAKER_04: You can say that.
- 1:20:05SPEAKER_04: You can say that.
- 1:20:06SPEAKER_04: Nah, bad.
- 1:20:07SPEAKER_04: I say nothing.
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_04: I forgot.
- 1:20:09SPEAKER_04: Nah, that's all good.
- 1:20:09SPEAKER_04: Um I'm still thinking this is like four years ago.
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_03: I think we're doing a disservice to our listeners by not talking about the biggest elephant in the room.
- 1:20:17SPEAKER_03: Um, we're gonna have a new president soon.
- 1:20:19SPEAKER_03: Um in exactly uh, what is it, five days?
- 1:20:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so are we gonna have a new president?
- 1:20:24SPEAKER_03: Um possibly this.
- 1:20:27SPEAKER_04: I think Trump is getting re-elected.
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_04: I don't think he is upset.
- 1:20:30SPEAKER_04: I think he is actually.
- 1:20:30SPEAKER_03: I don't think so, but they're doing a lot.
- 1:20:33SPEAKER_03: Because all these vote things are.
- 1:20:35SPEAKER_03: They're selling vote by narrow.
- 1:20:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it clearly jokes.
- 1:20:38SPEAKER_00: That shows me they're afraid.
- 1:20:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that okay, I think that's a good argument, too.
- 1:20:41SPEAKER_00: Because the Republican side is not even on that type of topic.
- 1:20:43SPEAKER_00: It's like, yo, Biden's son is selling stuff to China.
- 1:20:45SPEAKER_00: That's what they're doing.
- 1:20:47SPEAKER_00: Smoking crack guys wowing.
- 1:20:48SPEAKER_00: He's been in the office for 47 years.
- 1:20:50SPEAKER_00: He's smoking crack.
- 1:20:51SPEAKER_03: His son is dead as a crackhead, though.
- 1:20:52SPEAKER_03: Like straight up.
- 1:20:54SPEAKER_03: That's nuts.
- 1:20:55SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 1:20:55SPEAKER_03: Too much money.
- 1:20:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, these people, these political people really be on some shit.
- 1:20:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:21:00SPEAKER_04: And we sit here just like, oh, you know.
- 1:21:01SPEAKER_03: Oh, they're better than us, they're political.
- 1:21:03SPEAKER_04: Nah, but that's why I'll be looking.
- 1:21:04SPEAKER_04: That's why I'll be looking up to the athletes to speak on my behalf.
- 1:21:07SPEAKER_04: No, no, come on, don't do it.
- 1:21:08SPEAKER_04: I can't do that.
- 1:21:08SPEAKER_04: Don't do that.
- 1:21:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no guy.
- 1:21:10SPEAKER_04: Say what y'all gotta say.
- 1:21:11SPEAKER_04: They're not informed.
- 1:21:12SPEAKER_04: That group chat be wild.
- 1:21:14SPEAKER_04: Say what y'all gotta say.
- 1:21:15SPEAKER_04: They're not informed.
- 1:21:16SPEAKER_04: I'll say what I gotta say.
- 1:21:17SPEAKER_00: Listen, I don't want no athletes no entertainers speaking up for me.
- 1:21:20SPEAKER_00: First of all, they don't want the same life as me.
- 1:21:22SPEAKER_00: Number two, some of them are compromised because they have deals with Nike for the Ice Cube is qualified to speak for me.
- 1:21:28SPEAKER_00: Some of them got lifetime deals and WA.
- 1:21:31SPEAKER_00: Come on, son.
- 1:21:31SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 1:21:32SPEAKER_00: That was a big attack on the black community, but I'll leave that.
- 1:21:34SPEAKER_00: It was a big attack on the black community.
- 1:21:35SPEAKER_00: That destroyed us, though.
- 1:21:36SPEAKER_04: That made Kingster lifestyle.
- 1:21:38SPEAKER_04: I think West Coast music destroyed black community.
- 1:21:40SPEAKER_04: They rapped about they live.
- 1:21:41SPEAKER_04: No, no, either.
- 1:21:42SPEAKER_04: That was Ice Cube's life, bro.
- 1:21:44SPEAKER_04: Whose life was it?
- 1:21:45SPEAKER_03: That was EG's life.
- 1:21:46SPEAKER_03: And they killed making money off the biggest.
- 1:21:49SPEAKER_04: So if I make a song about being uh being a family man, I wrote that on behalf of AG.
- 1:21:53SPEAKER_04: That's not my life.
- 1:21:54SPEAKER_04: I see my man's living like that.
- 1:21:56SPEAKER_04: That's not.
- 1:21:59SPEAKER_03: I don't give a fuck about that family man.
- 1:22:01SPEAKER_00: Sound good, it might, it might sell.
- 1:22:03SPEAKER_00: It might slap it.
- 1:22:04SPEAKER_03: I'm a family man.
- 1:22:07SPEAKER_03: That boy needs all the price.
- 1:22:10SPEAKER_00: Yo, y'all a wild.
- 1:22:13SPEAKER_03: They wanna know how big your gun is.
- 1:22:15SPEAKER_03: Put your moth and top.
- 1:22:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's what they want to do.
- 1:22:18SPEAKER_03: They want to know how many niggas you done killed.
- 1:22:20SPEAKER_03: I'm taking out the trash.
- 1:22:22SPEAKER_03: Suicidal genocidal culture, bro.
- 1:22:25SPEAKER_03: This shit is hilarious, man.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_03: You can't even make this shit up.
- 1:22:28SPEAKER_03: Yo.
- 1:22:29SPEAKER_03: But uh, are you guys voting?
- 1:22:31SPEAKER_03: Am I voting?
- 1:22:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:22:32SPEAKER_03: Nah, man.
- 1:22:33SPEAKER_00: You know, yo, you know when someone repeats the question you ask.
- 1:22:37SPEAKER_00: I wanted to get it right before I ended up.
- 1:22:38SPEAKER_00: Scrambling for time.
- 1:22:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, I'm not voting, man.
- 1:22:41SPEAKER_01: I'm still not sure who I'm voting for, honestly.
- 1:22:42SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure.
- 1:22:43SPEAKER_00: Actually, no.
- 1:22:44SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure if I'm going to vote, but I plan on voting.
- 1:22:46SPEAKER_00: Put it that way.
- 1:22:47SPEAKER_03: Okay, this has been my sentiment, right?
- 1:22:49SPEAKER_03: If you live in New York, your vote don't mean shit.
- 1:22:53SPEAKER_03: That's just how I look at it.
- 1:22:55SPEAKER_03: And that that's the reason why I'm not gonna get up from my non-job having ass to go out there and vote.
- 1:23:00SPEAKER_03: It's raining.
- 1:23:01SPEAKER_04: But no, but isn't it uh a lot of other shit on that ballot?
- 1:23:06SPEAKER_04: Like uh judges and shit.
- 1:23:08SPEAKER_00: You should go and vote for that as well.
- 1:23:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that yeah, that's important.
- 1:23:11SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you something, especially um specifically to New York City.
- 1:23:13SPEAKER_00: Like uh the way uh our current mayor and governor are spinning things, they're trying to make things seem like it's all on Trump, that we don't have financing for schools.
- 1:23:21SPEAKER_00: And I do work in a specific district right now, and I've seen it beforehand that it's actually our current governor that's holding back the finances and saying that I'm not sure we're gonna get money if this person is re-elected.
- 1:23:33SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna hold the money back and wait because if he's re-elected according to that, the governor we're not gonna get any money from him because we're a blue state.
- 1:23:41SPEAKER_00: However, that the re-elected re-electable candidate is from the city.
- 1:23:45SPEAKER_00: I don't think he would ever do that to his own city.
- 1:23:48SPEAKER_00: However, the governor is making it seem like hold the money back when the governor holds the money back.
- 1:23:55SPEAKER_03: No, that's that's dangerous.
- 1:23:56SPEAKER_03: That's about that's diabolical.
- 1:23:59SPEAKER_03: Damn.
- 1:24:00SPEAKER_03: Um So politically, do you think um I don't have a problem with ice cube then?
- 1:24:10SPEAKER_03: I just want to make that clear for everybody.
- 1:24:12SPEAKER_03: I think that that's genius.
- 1:24:14SPEAKER_03: I just why didn't Ice Cube just get the people that really understood, you know, things like gerrymandering and how the political process works to do these things.
- 1:24:25SPEAKER_03: Same thing with Diddy and the political party.
- 1:24:27SPEAKER_03: I'm cool with them using their money to fund these things, but I don't want the same dude that was in Are We There Yet representing me because I know if there's a check, and I don't want to put this on ice cream because I feel like he is a stand-up brother, but it's just they're very easily compromised as compared to somebody that was groomed to be a politician from the start.
- 1:24:49SPEAKER_03: But I do believe that black people should vote in blocks like all the other people, because that's how you get your shit done.
- 1:24:55SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 1:24:55SPEAKER_03: Um, but our vote clearly matters.
- 1:24:58SPEAKER_03: We're the the number one consumer in America.
- 1:25:00SPEAKER_03: So if we spend the most money and we consume the most, then our vote should matter, but it doesn't because they just assume that our vote is counted as Democrat.
- 1:25:10SPEAKER_03: That's actually detrimental to us.
- 1:25:12SPEAKER_03: I'm not telling everybody just to go vote Republican just to like flip shit on his head, because personally I don't fuck with Trump, but uh fuck with Mike Pence though.
- 1:25:19SPEAKER_03: Um but I think that as a people we need a leader.
- 1:25:23SPEAKER_03: They keep killing our leaders on purpose, and they keep propping up these entertainers to be our leaders.
- 1:25:28SPEAKER_03: I fuck with LeBron James, I fuck with Ice Cube, I fuck with Bill Russell and all these dudes, Muhammad Ali, and they're stand-up brothers.
- 1:25:34SPEAKER_03: I would never denounce that, but Michael Jordan.
- 1:25:37SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I can put Michael Jordan.
- 1:25:39SPEAKER_00: What about Michael Jordan?
- 1:25:40SPEAKER_00: Let me say something while I respect Michael Jordan because like he's doing he did the opposite of what a lot of these athletes do today.
- 1:25:45SPEAKER_00: Like he said, yo, I'm here to play ball.
- 1:25:47SPEAKER_00: I really don't know that much about politics.
- 1:25:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I respect it.
- 1:25:49SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna leave it alone.
- 1:25:50SPEAKER_03: Other dudes like I think Barkley did it better though.
- 1:25:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm not a role model.
- 1:25:54SPEAKER_00: Don't fucking you gotta win six rings to be like, yo, I'm not trying to do politics.
- 1:25:58SPEAKER_00: Nah, you can't you can't now win a ring and be like I was focused on ball.
- 1:26:02SPEAKER_02: Like you did fail to ball.
- 1:26:05SPEAKER_00: It's more about Charles Barkley.
- 1:26:07SPEAKER_00: Like, listen, if your focus is to get money, you're not getting money, but you tell him you don't want to do nothing else.
- 1:26:11SPEAKER_00: That's a really good point.
- 1:26:12SPEAKER_00: I can't even think about it.
- 1:26:14SPEAKER_00: Focus enough to be MVP over Jordan.
- 1:26:16SPEAKER_00: One time.
- 1:26:16SPEAKER_00: How many Jordan people?
- 1:26:18SPEAKER_00: Let's stay on the politics though.
- 1:26:19SPEAKER_00: Before we go into the Jordan thing.
- 1:26:21SPEAKER_03: We're gonna get there.
- 1:26:21SPEAKER_03: Don't worry.
- 1:26:22SPEAKER_03: Oh, better team always wins.
- 1:26:24SPEAKER_03: Oh shit.
- 1:26:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so Trump's gonna win.
- 1:26:28SPEAKER_03: You got the better team.
- 1:26:28SPEAKER_03: We got Mike Pence.
- 1:26:29SPEAKER_03: Nah, apparently Miden has Cardi B.
- 1:26:33SPEAKER_00: Sounds like a win.
- 1:26:34SPEAKER_04: Sounds like a win to me.
- 1:26:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he is.
- 1:26:36SPEAKER_00: First of all, I just want to say that's how um, like real quick, that's just how they view us.
- 1:26:40SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm seeing.
- 1:26:41SPEAKER_00: I don't get why black people go with it.
- 1:26:45SPEAKER_03: Who's it for?
- 1:26:46SPEAKER_04: Who's it for?
- 1:26:46SPEAKER_04: It's for culture.
- 1:26:48SPEAKER_04: Like the city.
- 1:26:49SPEAKER_04: Like pop culture, yeah.
- 1:26:50SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's for the pop culture, bro.
- 1:26:52SPEAKER_04: There's a reason it's not just for black people.
- 1:26:54SPEAKER_00: Nah, it's mostly it's mostly for black people, though.
- 1:26:56SPEAKER_00: Uh, when Hillary was running, who she gets to come up on the stage with her?
- 1:27:00SPEAKER_00: LeBron James.
- 1:27:01SPEAKER_00: I'm seeing.
- 1:27:01SPEAKER_00: That's sick, bro.
- 1:27:02SPEAKER_03: Trump ain't fucking with Tom Hanks.
- 1:27:04SPEAKER_00: Trump is fucking with actual people that know what they're talking about.
- 1:27:07SPEAKER_00: I just want you all to real quick.
- 1:27:09SPEAKER_00: Again, I'm not a Trump supporter, but y'all gotta go back and look at Trump before he was a president.
- 1:27:13SPEAKER_00: But like he was rocking with black people.
- 1:27:14SPEAKER_00: But nah, black people love.
- 1:27:16SPEAKER_04: Angela Shorty, the Angela girl, I forgot.
- 1:27:19SPEAKER_04: Nah, the other one, the uh the one I seen.
- 1:27:21SPEAKER_04: Yeah, she went on a breakfast club.
- 1:27:23SPEAKER_00: And she cooked them, by the way.
- 1:27:24SPEAKER_04: I didn't get to see it.
- 1:27:25SPEAKER_04: But she went on a breakfast club, so why'd she go on a breakfast club?
- 1:27:28SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 1:27:28SPEAKER_00: No, they went, they took her because she was coming from Georgia and she was a sister.
- 1:27:31SPEAKER_00: Like she agreed to be like.
- 1:27:32SPEAKER_04: But what was her views?
- 1:27:33SPEAKER_04: What was her views?
- 1:27:34SPEAKER_00: Her views are very conservative.
- 1:27:35SPEAKER_00: She's republic.
- 1:27:35SPEAKER_00: She's running Republican.
- 1:27:36SPEAKER_00: So she went up there.
- 1:27:38SPEAKER_04: Why'd she go?
- 1:27:38SPEAKER_00: What do you mean?
- 1:27:39SPEAKER_00: Why she went you have to, right?
- 1:27:41SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, but she's she's Republican.
- 1:27:43SPEAKER_04: I don't think it's a black vote thing.
- 1:27:44SPEAKER_04: I mean, I think it is a big thing.
- 1:27:46SPEAKER_04: What are you trying to say?
- 1:27:46SPEAKER_00: I don't want to say that.
- 1:27:47SPEAKER_04: But you see how they they uh supposedly the Democrats went to Carter B because that's how they view us.
- 1:27:52SPEAKER_04: They like, uh, we should give some Cardi B because black people don't vote for me.
- 1:27:55SPEAKER_04: But this is my thing.
- 1:27:57SPEAKER_04: I forget her last name, apologize.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_04: She went on the same Angel Stanley Club.
- 1:28:03SPEAKER_04: I would assume has the same uh audience as Cardi B because it's all yeah, very similar audience.
- 1:28:09SPEAKER_00: That's why I respected her though.
- 1:28:11SPEAKER_00: Because Biden didn't go up on there and they were giving her the tough questions, and she took them on three on one and she was cooking all three.
- 1:28:18SPEAKER_00: That's actually how I found out about Angela Stan King.
- 1:28:21SPEAKER_00: Is that she went on there and it was it was specifically the topic of abortion that she was just roasting?
- 1:28:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, nah, she does uh great.
- 1:28:27SPEAKER_00: But she definitely was she was doing what most Republicans fail to do, which is like they're not she's not just counting the black vote as Democrats saying, you know, I'm still gonna talk to my people regardless of the party I'm running with.
- 1:28:37SPEAKER_00: And she went there, or at least it was on Zoom or whatever, and she had to like touch that audio.
- 1:28:42SPEAKER_00: And because she did that, I found out about it.
- 1:28:44SPEAKER_00: And through a lot of people found out about it.
- 1:28:46SPEAKER_04: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:28:48SPEAKER_04: I don't think the Democrats solely went to Cardi B or the Cardi Biden for the black bro.
- 1:28:57SPEAKER_00: Think about that.
- 1:28:58SPEAKER_04: This is uh people gonna get to see that that would never see it before if they wasn't a Cardi B.
- 1:29:04SPEAKER_04: I know, but they're the person I'm gonna do.
- 1:29:07SPEAKER_04: And that person doesn't have to be black.
- 1:29:09SPEAKER_04: What do you mean?
- 1:29:10SPEAKER_04: So like let's say uh I'm pretty sure we could find all types of Cardi B fans.
- 1:29:17SPEAKER_04: White, black, Spanish, but what's the majority of them?
- 1:29:21SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 1:29:21SPEAKER_04: Urban.
- 1:29:22SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 1:29:22SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it was urban.
- 1:29:23SPEAKER_04: Black.
- 1:29:24SPEAKER_00: Black and Hispanics.
- 1:29:25SPEAKER_00: Black and Hispanics.
- 1:29:26SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 1:29:27SPEAKER_00: Cardi B's from New York City.
- 1:29:28SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 1:29:28SPEAKER_00: She's dating offset.
- 1:29:30SPEAKER_00: And and music geared towards black.
- 1:29:32SPEAKER_00: No, come on.
- 1:29:33SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 1:29:34SPEAKER_00: Nah.
- 1:29:35SPEAKER_00: Now you just be.
- 1:29:36SPEAKER_04: Can't just say no to that.
- 1:29:39SPEAKER_04: Black.
- 1:29:39SPEAKER_04: All women.
- 1:29:40SPEAKER_04: Black women.
- 1:29:41unknown: No.
- 1:29:41SPEAKER_02: WAP is not a white white person.
- 1:29:43SPEAKER_02: Where does it say black in it?
- 1:29:44SPEAKER_02: Candace Owens is black excellence, by the way.
- 1:29:46SPEAKER_02: Not WAP.
- 1:29:46SPEAKER_02: WAP.
- 1:29:49SPEAKER_02: Black ass pussy.
- 1:29:51SPEAKER_04: That sounds bad.
- 1:29:52SPEAKER_04: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:29:53SPEAKER_02: Wet ass pussy for all women.
- 1:29:55SPEAKER_02: It is.
- 1:29:56SPEAKER_00: Is Cardi B even black, by the way?
- 1:29:58SPEAKER_00: No, she is.
- 1:29:59SPEAKER_00: What's her father's race?
- 1:30:00SPEAKER_00: She's Dominican.
- 1:30:01SPEAKER_00: What kind of Dominican?
- 1:30:01SPEAKER_00: All Dominican.
- 1:30:02SPEAKER_00: Woolly hair Dominican?
- 1:30:04SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:30:05SPEAKER_03: I've never seen her about popcorn.
- 1:30:06SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:30:06SPEAKER_03: That's all I'm going to say about that.
- 1:30:08SPEAKER_04: What are you leading towards, man?
- 1:30:09SPEAKER_04: I don't think she's a good one.
- 1:30:10SPEAKER_04: All I'm just saying, man.
- 1:30:11SPEAKER_04: Nah, she's a good one.
- 1:30:12SPEAKER_04: I'm just saying, if you're going to try to win a presidential election, you gotta go through pop culture.
- 1:30:18SPEAKER_04: Nah.
- 1:30:19SPEAKER_04: Watch when I run.
- 1:30:20SPEAKER_03: Watch when I run for president.
- 1:30:22SPEAKER_03: This is the only platform I'm using.
- 1:30:23SPEAKER_03: You gotta come to me.
- 1:30:25SPEAKER_00: Who's your vice president, though?
- 1:30:26SPEAKER_03: I don't know yet.
- 1:30:27SPEAKER_03: Probably Mike Pence.
- 1:30:28SPEAKER_03: I'm throwing my name out.
- 1:30:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, all right, cool.
- 1:30:31SPEAKER_00: You got the VD Secretary of Defense.
- 1:30:32SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna put all my homies on.
- 1:30:33SPEAKER_03: Nebotism is lit for black people.
- 1:30:35SPEAKER_03: All my homies is lit.
- 1:30:36SPEAKER_00: They're not gonna like what I gotta say.
- 1:30:38SPEAKER_00: And I'm paying that shit black.
- 1:30:39SPEAKER_00: Black out.
- 1:30:40SPEAKER_03: See, I think it's getting paid.
- 1:30:41SPEAKER_03: What do you mean?
- 1:30:42SPEAKER_03: Paid by who?
- 1:30:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, by the way, Donald Trump doesn't even collect a check, by the way.
- 1:30:45SPEAKER_00: I didn't know that until recently.
- 1:30:46SPEAKER_00: He doesn't collect a check from being president.
- 1:30:47SPEAKER_00: He donates all that money because he's a millionaire.
- 1:30:49SPEAKER_03: So did Giuliani.
- 1:30:50SPEAKER_03: Who?
- 1:30:50SPEAKER_03: No, no, not Giuliani.
- 1:30:52SPEAKER_03: I'm Bloomberg.
- 1:30:52SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 1:30:53SPEAKER_03: Bloomberg is so rich.
- 1:30:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Bloomberg is rich.
- 1:30:55SPEAKER_03: I didn't know how rich Bloomberg was, though.
- 1:30:57SPEAKER_03: He's a billionaire.
- 1:30:57SPEAKER_03: I didn't know that.
- 1:30:58SPEAKER_03: That's nuts.
- 1:30:59SPEAKER_03: How you just choose to be like, I'm politician now.
- 1:31:01SPEAKER_03: You saw how much money he blew.
- 1:31:02SPEAKER_03: Then he ran, right?
- 1:31:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:31:04SPEAKER_03: You saw how much money he blew in.
- 1:31:05SPEAKER_03: And that changed the law so he could be like three times.
- 1:31:08SPEAKER_03: He was like, nah.
- 1:31:09SPEAKER_03: We changed that.
- 1:31:09SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna be mayor for ever.
- 1:31:11SPEAKER_03: New York City is a wild.
- 1:31:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:31:12SPEAKER_03: I love New York, man.
- 1:31:13SPEAKER_03: They're killing my city.
- 1:31:14SPEAKER_04: Um, that's over, man.
- 1:31:16SPEAKER_04: Moving to Atlanta.
- 1:31:17SPEAKER_03: How y'all feel about Kanye West runner?
- 1:31:20SPEAKER_04: Um if I do go out and vote, that's what I'm voting for.
- 1:31:23SPEAKER_00: Now you bother.
- 1:31:25SPEAKER_00: He thinks he's gonna win.
- 1:31:26SPEAKER_00: When he goes on, he's not gonna win.
- 1:31:28SPEAKER_00: But when he goes on these like those tiraday, those symphonies, I'll be with him.
- 1:31:32SPEAKER_00: Like I understand what he's saying, and I'm like, oh, that's that's wild.
- 1:31:34SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's great.
- 1:31:35SPEAKER_00: That's wild.
- 1:31:35SPEAKER_00: That's great.
- 1:31:36SPEAKER_00: I'll be with him.
- 1:31:36SPEAKER_00: I understand his language or the way he talks, I think.
- 1:31:39SPEAKER_00: But um he's like I hate to say it like this, but he's like one of those beautiful soul kind of situations where it's like you're so crazy, but your intentions are good, but you're damaged.
- 1:31:51SPEAKER_00: And you your existence speaks to a lot of people's existence.
- 1:31:57SPEAKER_00: There's people out there who they look at Kanye like dang, this dude is really me.
- 1:32:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I thought me and Kanye were the same person.
- 1:32:03SPEAKER_03: You thought yeah, yeah.
- 1:32:04SPEAKER_00: When he starts wilding, that's what I'm like.
- 1:32:06SPEAKER_00: Nah.
- 1:32:06SPEAKER_03: And he's not as uh confident as like he portrays himself.
- 1:32:09SPEAKER_03: Once he did that lipo shit, I was like, Oh, yeah, I don't think.
- 1:32:12SPEAKER_03: But a lot of artists in general on that so the interview, most people in general.
- 1:32:16SPEAKER_03: You know, Kanye was the first to meet introspective rapper, like star.
- 1:32:20SPEAKER_03: Yes, like he was the first person to let you know how he felt about himself and how you know he didn't feel like the biggest dude in the room and he wanted to be the biggest dude in the room.
- 1:32:27SPEAKER_03: I respected that.
- 1:32:28SPEAKER_03: But what I loved about Kanye was his overconfidence because I battle with that every day.
- 1:32:32SPEAKER_03: I think that's my weakness and my strength as a person.
- 1:32:34SPEAKER_03: But then I realized he's not really that confident.
- 1:32:36SPEAKER_04: But how confident can you be when you have millions or millions of people telling you that you're wrong?
- 1:32:45SPEAKER_04: Because it's easy to be the confident person in a room when it's only 10 people in the room.
- 1:32:49SPEAKER_04: But when you start trickling more people, you grab the mic out of Taylor Swift's hand and say uh Beyonce shit away.
- 1:32:54SPEAKER_04: He didn't give a shit about that.
- 1:32:56SPEAKER_04: I think it was off the hand.
- 1:32:57SPEAKER_04: But that that Kanye, that Kanye is not nearly as popular as this Kanye.
- 1:33:00SPEAKER_04: When you say Bush hates black people, yeah, but that Kanye is still not this Kanye.
- 1:33:06SPEAKER_04: We gave that Kanye.
- 1:33:07SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but as far as like as popular as this Kanye is, there was this is the most popular he's ever been.
- 1:33:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for like he's bigger than his music career, right?
- 1:33:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, music is not even the thing for him anymore.
- 1:33:19SPEAKER_00: That's I think I think that's one of the reasons why they can't stop him.
- 1:33:22SPEAKER_04: And I think that's what alters your your um your confidence.
- 1:33:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that too.
- 1:33:27SPEAKER_00: He said that before.
- 1:33:27SPEAKER_00: I think it was a Joe Rogan um interview.
- 1:33:30SPEAKER_00: He was like, you know, you end up in a big one.
- 1:33:32SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 1:33:35SPEAKER_00: You end up in a bubble where like you're not in touch with reality like that.
- 1:33:42SPEAKER_03: Like I like having friends that's gonna tell me that I'm full of shit.
- 1:33:45SPEAKER_03: Cause if you don't have those type of people around you, bro, you're gonna lose, man.
- 1:33:48SPEAKER_04: Okay, but that's what I'm saying.
- 1:33:50SPEAKER_04: But is there a point you get too big where it's like And that's why artists and athletes shouldn't speak for us?
- 1:33:55SPEAKER_03: Nah, of course not.
- 1:33:56SPEAKER_03: But uh they are in a bubble.
- 1:33:57SPEAKER_03: They're common too, bro.
- 1:33:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Kanye don't have one person around him that has the balls to tell me you're wrong.
- 1:34:02SPEAKER_00: Like when LeBron said I'm the greatest of all time because of this win.
- 1:34:04SPEAKER_00: Someone should have been like, yo, show, show, show.
- 1:34:06SPEAKER_03: Everybody in the room's like, oh yeah, man.
- 1:34:07SPEAKER_03: No, it was quiet.
- 1:34:08SPEAKER_03: Go watch that.
- 1:34:09SPEAKER_01: I felt awkward for LeBron.
- 1:34:10SPEAKER_01: I was like, side note.
- 1:34:13SPEAKER_01: All right, cool.
- 1:34:14SPEAKER_04: What other two?
- 1:34:18SPEAKER_04: We're about to go right to this guy.
- 1:34:19SPEAKER_04: We're about to go right to sports.
- 1:34:21SPEAKER_03: So if Kanye runs in 2024 and it's him at a rock, who we voting for?
- 1:34:25SPEAKER_03: I'm voting for this country.
- 1:34:28SPEAKER_03: I'm out of this country.
- 1:34:29SPEAKER_04: I'm out of this country.
- 1:34:30SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna be part of this television show.
- 1:34:32SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna be part of this television show.
- 1:34:35SPEAKER_04: We're already there, son.
- 1:34:37SPEAKER_04: It's an entertainment, son.
- 1:34:38SPEAKER_04: This is crazy.
- 1:34:40SPEAKER_00: That's the only thing we exclusively um we exclusively um export.
- 1:34:43SPEAKER_04: Um, I'm in this circus, I'm not watching it.
- 1:34:48SPEAKER_04: I'm not watching it.
- 1:34:50SPEAKER_04: If I'm not on by 2024 and I'm looking at the ballot, and it's the rock.
- 1:34:55SPEAKER_03: Kanye's uh Kanye guaranteed a win in 2024.
- 1:34:58SPEAKER_03: He guaranteed it.
- 1:34:59SPEAKER_03: He said, I'm gonna be the president of the city.
- 1:35:01SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine the debates between Kanye and the rock too?
- 1:35:05SPEAKER_00: I just he debates with the rock.
- 1:35:07SPEAKER_03: I just want to ask the rock, what are you?
- 1:35:10SPEAKER_03: He can't answer that any long.
- 1:35:11SPEAKER_03: He's another one of those.
- 1:35:13SPEAKER_03: He could be any race, honestly.
- 1:35:15SPEAKER_03: Have I seen him speak Spanish?
- 1:35:17SPEAKER_03: He's Dominican.
- 1:35:19SPEAKER_03: He could be the white man for all I don't know.
- 1:35:21SPEAKER_03: The Rock inventory.
- 1:35:26SPEAKER_03: It's this guy.
- 1:35:28SPEAKER_03: No, no, no.
- 1:35:29SPEAKER_04: Whenever Drake comes out, whether it's Dominican Drake, I'm a two-dock Drake or a popcorn Drake.
- 1:35:37SPEAKER_03: First of all, let me start this off by saying I am not a Drake fan at all.
- 1:35:41SPEAKER_03: I am not a Drake fan at all.
- 1:35:43SPEAKER_03: But it is his culture.
- 1:35:46SPEAKER_03: This one is gonna look just like my neck.
- 1:35:50SPEAKER_03: The culture is in Canada, they're heavily influenced by Jamaicans.
- 1:35:56SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 1:35:57SPEAKER_03: So they so they talk like that.
- 1:35:58SPEAKER_03: That's not a place we go to.
- 1:35:59SPEAKER_03: That's fine.
- 1:36:00SPEAKER_03: That's the true Drake.
- 1:36:01SPEAKER_03: When you hear him doing that fake Jamaican accent, that's him.
- 1:36:04SPEAKER_03: So then that's the one.
- 1:36:06SPEAKER_03: The British joint is a little bit weird.
- 1:36:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the British shit is fake.
- 1:36:08SPEAKER_03: The Dominican is fake.
- 1:36:12SPEAKER_03: That's not him.
- 1:36:13SPEAKER_00: And the Aventura joint was kind of wild.
- 1:36:15SPEAKER_03: That shit was fire, though.
- 1:36:16SPEAKER_03: It was fire.
- 1:36:17SPEAKER_03: That's why I'm gonna definitely say Odil?
- 1:36:19SPEAKER_03: I don't know the name of the song.
- 1:36:22SPEAKER_03: I don't know that.
- 1:36:23SPEAKER_03: I don't know the name of the song.
- 1:36:23SPEAKER_03: But this shit is hard, though.
- 1:36:24SPEAKER_03: But that's not him.
- 1:36:26SPEAKER_03: Authentically, the Jamaican shit is him, though.
- 1:36:29SPEAKER_03: That's how they talk, bro.
- 1:36:30SPEAKER_04: So then let's go back to his earlier music.
- 1:36:32SPEAKER_04: Where was that sound?
- 1:36:33SPEAKER_03: I don't he didn't think it was gonna be mainstream.
- 1:36:34SPEAKER_03: That was the Degrassi.
- 1:36:36SPEAKER_04: Remember when Drake also used to rap about being a Cavs fan?
- 1:36:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:36:40SPEAKER_04: I think he's also just I don't want to say this.
- 1:36:42SPEAKER_04: I want to feature one day, but I think he's a dick rider.
- 1:36:45SPEAKER_03: I mean, most most uh rap most rappers are.
- 1:36:49SPEAKER_03: No, most rappers are Lil Wayne has been a fan of everything.
- 1:36:52SPEAKER_03: No.
- 1:36:52SPEAKER_03: Lil Wayne was a minority.
- 1:36:54SPEAKER_03: Nah, he was a Miami.
- 1:36:56SPEAKER_00: Yo, he's in a front row.
- 1:36:57SPEAKER_00: In fact, allegedly he was anyway, we'll leave that alone.
- 1:37:01SPEAKER_00: He's been on he's been a fan of every team with him.
- 1:37:03SPEAKER_03: And he partied with the Mavs when they won.
- 1:37:05SPEAKER_00: Yo, the Mavs.
- 1:37:06SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
- 1:37:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so what?
- 1:37:08SPEAKER_00: He didn't like Bosch.
- 1:37:10SPEAKER_04: Remember that?
- 1:37:11SPEAKER_04: He liked his wife.
- 1:37:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but that's and he said fuck the Heat too.
- 1:37:16SPEAKER_04: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:37:16SPEAKER_04: But then he was a Heat fan.
- 1:37:18SPEAKER_04: As long as I know it, Lil Wayne has been a uh a Packers fan and a Lakers fan.
- 1:37:22SPEAKER_03: Okay, but he also supports every team.
- 1:37:24SPEAKER_03: That's fine.
- 1:37:24SPEAKER_03: He just likes sports.
- 1:37:25SPEAKER_04: Nah, nah, I like.
