- 0:14Speaker 3: Mr.

- 0:20Speaker 3: Fast to the number one tabloid real life podcast.
- 0:23Speaker 4: Listen in, listen up. Woo, woo.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Heather MacDonald. Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well,
- 0:34Speaker 1: I have a lot of Juicy Scoop to get into
- 0:37Speaker 1: as always. I do have a very juicy interview that
- 0:42Speaker 1: you really have to listen to the whole thing because
- 0:45Speaker 1: it's a crazy story that this guy went through with
- 0:48Speaker 1: a one-time fling that went completely in a crazy direction.
- 0:54Speaker 1: So before we get to that though, let me get
- 0:57Speaker 1: into everything. Um, OK, Beyonce is here in L.A. at
- 1:02Speaker 1: the SoFi Stadium. And there were articles saying that she
- 1:06Speaker 1: was having trouble selling tickets. I've seen a lot of clips,
- 1:10Speaker 1: which I always wonder, does that make people want to
- 1:13Speaker 1: go see it? I mean, personally, when I saw so
- 1:16Speaker 1: many clips of Madonna's concert and then the opportunity came
- 1:20Speaker 1: to go, I was kind of like, I think I've
- 1:21Speaker 1: seen it all. So I don't know. But obviously the
- 1:24Speaker 1: beehive is a hive like no other. It's much larger
- 1:28Speaker 1: than the Heather Hive. And they are very excited about
- 1:32Speaker 1: what they're seeing. They cannot wait to go. They love
- 1:34Speaker 1: the show. It looks very full. It's not just country,
- 1:39Speaker 1: but it's big. Like, you know, she's like flying in
- 1:42Speaker 1: a car. The biggest thing is that everyone is so
- 1:45Speaker 1: excited that Blue Ivy, who, yes, is only 13, she's
- 1:49Speaker 1: very tall, statuesque, and has become a really good dancer.
- 1:53Speaker 1: She is... a big part of the show, dancing, walking, strutting,
- 1:58Speaker 1: and people just die over it, which actually, I mean,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I'm happy that people are that positive. I mean, you know,
- 2:05Speaker 1: a lot of Nepo babies don't do anything. This is
- 2:08Speaker 1: hard work. This is showing up. This is practicing. If
- 2:10Speaker 1: this is what she wants to do, which clearly she does,
- 2:13Speaker 1: she's talented. I think it's great. And people love seeing
- 2:17Speaker 1: Beyonce with her daughter and then her younger daughter, who
- 2:20Speaker 1: is one of a boy-girl twin set. The boy is
- 2:23Speaker 1: not part of the concert. Um, I don't know if
- 2:26Speaker 1: that's cause he's just not into it. If he's not
- 2:29Speaker 1: into showmanship, I don't know, but it's about the girls,
- 2:32Speaker 1: but she, the little girl Rumi, she just came out
- 2:35Speaker 1: at the end and was like, so excited to see
- 2:39Speaker 1: the crowd and turn around and hugged her mom. And
- 2:41Speaker 1: then Beyonce didn't even like finish singing the song and
- 2:44Speaker 1: people loved seeing that side of Beyonce. So, um, You know,
- 2:50Speaker 1: she has so many hits and is putting on quite
- 2:53Speaker 1: a great show. So people are excited about that. I
- 2:55Speaker 1: guess there were tickets available still. I think it's more
- 2:59Speaker 1: that the theater is so big, the stadium is so big.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And maybe had she not done so many nights there,
- 3:05Speaker 1: it would have sold out right away. But it looks
- 3:06Speaker 1: pretty full. And, you know, so go if you want
- 3:09Speaker 1: to go, you know, and tell me all about it.
- 3:13Speaker 3: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 3:15Speaker 3: know about the drawer. The Drawer. Just the one square
- 3:21Speaker 3: before bed.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Or two, you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 3:32Speaker 3: With eight flavors to choose from, you can choose the
- 3:34Speaker 3: flavor you favor with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 3:43Speaker 1: But on the other hand, Katy Perry is getting kind
- 3:48Speaker 1: of the opposite kind of love on the internet with
- 3:51Speaker 1: people going and sharing clips of her concert. And, you know,
- 3:55Speaker 1: she's doing a lot of these big things too, being
- 3:59Speaker 1: that she's, you know, recently an astronaut and she's got,
- 4:02Speaker 1: you know, the song about the alien in the space and,
- 4:06Speaker 1: you know, and her lightsaber or whatever. So she has
- 4:09Speaker 1: like these weird, like big alien people coming and she's
- 4:12Speaker 1: killing an alien. But it's really this like very unattractive
- 4:16Speaker 1: wig that she has on that I think Is throwing everybody.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Because the body looks great. It's just like. Bangs that
- 4:23Speaker 1: are very short and black. And she just looks. The
- 4:27Speaker 1: things that people are doing. To make fun of this is.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Now I've seen a few people. Put this together. So
- 4:33Speaker 1: I don't know who the originator is. But the very
- 4:37Speaker 1: famous SNL sketch. That Kristen Wiig would do. Which was
- 4:41Speaker 1: like these girls from like. The Lawrence Welk era. And
- 4:44Speaker 1: they'd come out. And they'd each say their name and
- 4:48Speaker 1: then you'd see Kristen Wiig and she had those tiny
- 4:50Speaker 1: hands and like this really high forehead. And I'm Eunice. Okay,
- 4:56Speaker 1: so what? So I've now seen this a bunch of
- 4:59Speaker 1: times where people will say, well, they'll play that in
- 5:01Speaker 1: the background and we will see, you know, it starts
- 5:07Speaker 1: out as Beyonce and it's like, I'm Janice. And they
- 5:12Speaker 1: show Beyonce.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Okay.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'm Holly. And then they show like Sabrina Carpenter. I'm Nora.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And they show, you know, on stage all together, you know,
- 5:22Speaker 1: Taylor Swift. And then they just show like, they just
- 5:27Speaker 1: show Katy Perry with her weird hair and like the
- 5:31Speaker 1: lifesaver and like doing like a weird move. And then
- 5:33Speaker 1: it's like, and I'm Junice. And it's just, it's hilarious.
- 5:40Speaker 1: She's obviously aware it's happening. I don't think it matters. Again,
- 5:44Speaker 1: when I watch the clips, people are loving the songs.
- 5:48Speaker 1: They are there. They are fans. But she just got
- 5:51Speaker 1: so much criticism for the astronaut thing and the way
- 5:57Speaker 1: she thought that it would help so much with the
- 6:00Speaker 1: excitement of her going on stage. And also just that
- 6:04Speaker 1: people have to do so much with like these big
- 6:07Speaker 1: stage productions. I mean, the car thing. For Beyonce, it's
- 6:12Speaker 1: like she's in this like old like convertible Cadillac and
- 6:15Speaker 1: it's like flying through the sky. And I mean, you
- 6:17Speaker 1: do think, God, what if something happened and it like
- 6:20Speaker 1: fell on people? Like it is just a lot. And
- 6:24Speaker 1: then I just think of like someone like a Celine
- 6:27Speaker 1: Dion or Adele that, you know, is the complete opposite
- 6:30Speaker 1: as far as like these big showmanship stuff. But whatever.
- 6:34Speaker 1: That's the show. That's what's out. That's what people are discussing.
- 6:38Speaker 1: But let's not forget, Katy Perry has always had weird,
- 6:42Speaker 1: big visuals on stage. Remember when she had the giant
- 6:47Speaker 1: poo come out of the toilet bowl? I think that
- 6:51Speaker 1: was her last tour, and it was during the California
- 6:54Speaker 1: Girls song. And I think it's just to be weird
- 6:56Speaker 1: and funny. I just think she's just kind of a
- 6:58Speaker 1: bizarre chick. Let's not forget that she... you know, insisted
- 7:02Speaker 1: on buying this home from these elderly nuns in LA.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And I believe she succeeded in that. She also got
- 7:09Speaker 1: a home from, from, um, what's her name? Westcott from
- 7:14Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Dallas. Her father-in-law was, you know, said
- 7:20Speaker 1: that he was sort of swindled into selling the house
- 7:22Speaker 1: to them. And then when he tried to hang on
- 7:24Speaker 1: to it and he was like in the hospital, she
- 7:27Speaker 1: and Orlando Bloom got that house as well. So like,
- 7:30Speaker 1: there's just like a lot of weirdness around Katy Perry's
- 7:34Speaker 1: personal life. On the other hand, she goes on podcasts
- 7:37Speaker 1: and say that says to that, Oh, you know, she'll
- 7:40Speaker 1: give Orlando a BJ if he just, you know, stacks
- 7:43Speaker 1: the dishwasher and everybody's like, you don't have like a
- 7:46Speaker 1: housekeeper stacking the dishwasher. Like, what is it anyway? So,
- 7:50Speaker 1: you know, that's where we are in this world. It's like,
- 7:53Speaker 1: everyone can comment, everyone can make fun of it. And
- 7:56Speaker 1: I mean, if it's happening to you, I just say like, Hey,
- 7:59Speaker 1: Katy Perry, just, Enjoy that money and go dance around
- 8:02Speaker 1: with your lifesaver and your ugly wig. And don't look
- 8:06Speaker 1: at this shit and don't listen to Juicy Scoop because
- 8:08Speaker 1: I'm talking about you. Okay. This past weekend was the
- 8:11Speaker 1: Time 100. As you know, Blake Lively was an odd
- 8:15Speaker 1: choice for most of us as the cover of the
- 8:18Speaker 1: most influential person. They had like Scarlett Johansson, interestingly enough,
- 8:23Speaker 1: Ryan Reynolds, ex-wife. She was there as one of the
- 8:27Speaker 1: artists or an actor, you know, because they had like
- 8:29Speaker 1: different categories. So Blake Lively got to speak and this
- 8:34Speaker 1: speech has gone viral and it's very odd. And she
- 8:38Speaker 1: gets up there and she is with Ryan and her mother.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And she says something to the effect of like, I'm
- 8:45Speaker 1: paraphrasing here. As a woman, the last two years of
- 8:49Speaker 1: my life have not been easy, but I'm not going
- 8:50Speaker 1: to get into that. Referencing everything with Justin Baldoni and
- 8:54Speaker 1: the lawsuits, obviously, and her alleged treatment on set, right?
- 8:58Speaker 1: As a woman. So then she says, but this is
- 9:01Speaker 1: not about this. This is about when my mother survived
- 9:04Speaker 1: one of the worst things that could ever happen to
- 9:06Speaker 1: a woman. And she goes to tell this story, but
- 9:08Speaker 1: she doesn't really get into it. That her mom, before
- 9:12Speaker 1: she was born, though she was a mother with three kids,
- 9:14Speaker 1: before she had Blake, had an incident happen at work
- 9:18Speaker 1: that was life-threatening. So if you're watching this and she
- 9:22Speaker 1: mentions work, you're thinking maybe the mom... had some weird
- 9:26Speaker 1: guy at work that maybe sexually harassed her or essayed
- 9:29Speaker 1: her or, you know, to the point where then her
- 9:32Speaker 1: life was threatened. What other people are reporting on, so
- 9:39Speaker 1: I don't know if it's true, because once I saw
- 9:42Speaker 1: one person say it, I went way deep dive, that
- 9:44Speaker 1: in fact, the person that threatened her life was another
- 9:50Speaker 1: coworker who was a woman. So I'm saying allegedly because
- 9:55Speaker 1: I saw this a couple of places and I have
- 9:58Speaker 1: not been able to find it anywhere else. I've asked,
- 10:01Speaker 1: who was this person? If this really happened and this
- 10:04Speaker 1: person's life was threatened, why is there not more about
- 10:07Speaker 1: what happened to the person? Were they arrested? I mean,
- 10:09Speaker 1: she kind of alludes that she didn't get her say
- 10:13Speaker 1: like in court. So I don't know. I don't know
- 10:15Speaker 1: why no one can find the truth behind this story
- 10:17Speaker 1: because it's a pretty crazy story. I mean, I had
- 10:20Speaker 1: Lisa Renna on my show years ago and she told
- 10:23Speaker 1: the story of her mom, Lois, who was brutally attacked
- 10:28Speaker 1: by someone that she worked with. And, you know, there's
- 10:32Speaker 1: a whole backstory to who this monster guy was and,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and like, you know, articles and things like that about it.
- 10:38Speaker 1: So I don't understand why this is a little hard
- 10:42Speaker 1: to find, but she tells the whole story. The mom
- 10:45Speaker 1: is like 77 and sitting there And attractive. And she
- 10:49Speaker 1: kind of goes to like hug her mom. The mom
- 10:51Speaker 1: doesn't also in the speech, she's like, we have four daughters,
- 10:54Speaker 1: Ryan and I, my sweet husband, Ryan and I, we
- 10:57Speaker 1: have to remind our daughters every day that you'll, you know,
- 10:59Speaker 1: always be scared in an office, in a workplace, in
- 11:02Speaker 1: a parking lot. Again, like, you know, who would you
- 11:06Speaker 1: choose the man or the bear? Obviously the bear, like
- 11:08Speaker 1: men are evil. And so then when she goes to
- 11:10Speaker 1: tell the story of her mother, it's weird now to
- 11:14Speaker 1: be like, well, what really is a story? Like, why
- 11:17Speaker 1: don't we have this? This is what you've chosen to
- 11:20Speaker 1: use for your speech. Again, a very weird thing, but
- 11:24Speaker 1: not weird when we think of what she's done through
- 11:27Speaker 1: these last six months with this case and what she's
- 11:30Speaker 1: talked about and how, you know, again, kind of making
- 11:34Speaker 1: it about her. And then the other question was, if
- 11:37Speaker 1: you had this story that was so close to your
- 11:39Speaker 1: heart about your mother and And you were doing a
- 11:41Speaker 1: movie about a domestic violence, you know, a DV victim.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Why wasn't that story ever shared in interviews? Like, oh,
- 11:50Speaker 1: this story, this book really was compelling to me because
- 11:53Speaker 1: my mom found herself in a very scary situation. I
- 11:58Speaker 1: don't know. Maybe because it wasn't domestic. Someone would say, well,
- 12:00Speaker 1: it wasn't DV. It's all odd. We all get it.
- 12:02Speaker 1: It's weird. They, you know, have gone out now and
- 12:06Speaker 1: had a fun date to go see Wolverine's latest play
- 12:10Speaker 1: on Broadway. And it's just, you know, that's that's what's happening.
- 12:15Speaker 1: That's the latest on that. But it it was bizarre. OK,
- 12:21Speaker 1: so Meghan Markle news, because these clips are everywhere. She
- 12:25Speaker 1: recently did an interview with this woman who I've seen
- 12:29Speaker 1: a lot of her clips. She has a big podcast.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Her name's Jamie. She's the CEO of It Cosmetics. And
- 12:36Speaker 1: she puts out a lot of clips. So, like, if
- 12:39Speaker 1: she has a big star, I sometimes see a lot
- 12:41Speaker 1: of it. And she's just very, she lives in Montecito. Obviously,
- 12:46Speaker 1: she's very wealthy. And every time someone's talking to her,
- 12:50Speaker 1: I mean, these are the clips she chooses. You know,
- 12:52Speaker 1: everyone has their own thing that they choose. The host
- 12:55Speaker 1: is always like, oh, God, yeah. Oh, it's beautiful. So
- 13:01Speaker 1: this was just the perfect podcast to feature she and
- 13:07Speaker 1: Meghan Markle, who are neighbors. They did like a podcast swap.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And it's interesting because Meghan shows up, not a speckle
- 13:16Speaker 1: of makeup. Not that she needs it, but just sort
- 13:19Speaker 1: of interesting, like you're doing a big podcast. Again, you know,
- 13:23Speaker 1: we all know now that... You need to be more authentic.
- 13:26Speaker 1: You need to like show your flaws. That's how people
- 13:29Speaker 1: are popping as influencers. Authenticity is number one. So having
- 13:33Speaker 1: no makeup, interesting. And, you know, she's saying some things
- 13:37Speaker 1: that a lot of people are finding like very annoying
- 13:39Speaker 1: and very cringy. And Meghan Markle, you know, says, oh, well,
- 13:44Speaker 1: my kids wake up at seven. So I get up
- 13:47Speaker 1: at 630 and I just have a little bit of
- 13:50Speaker 1: time to just throw on whatever. and I go down,
- 13:54Speaker 1: I get the two kids, and I take them down,
- 13:56Speaker 1: and I make them breakfast, and I love to make
- 14:00Speaker 1: their lunches, which I told you how to do, little
- 14:03Speaker 1: notes in their lunch boxes, and I really, really enjoy that,
- 14:07Speaker 1: and then it's off to carpool, and oftentimes I'm not back,
- 14:12Speaker 1: you know, until maybe nine o'clock, and then it's just,
- 14:16Speaker 1: it's mom mode, it's meetings, it's phone calls, and conference calls,
- 14:22Speaker 1: and And of course I go right to the comments
- 14:25Speaker 1: and everybody's like, yeah, we all make our kids breakfast.
- 14:28Speaker 1: But then another one was like, wait, where's Harry? Like
- 14:31Speaker 1: now you're this working mom. You're making your own jam.
- 14:35Speaker 1: You're picking your own berries. You're making your own flowers,
- 14:38Speaker 1: dried flowers that you're supposed to sprinkle on food. The
- 14:41Speaker 1: packaging for the jam, which I saw someone get, and
- 14:44Speaker 1: they did say it was delicious. It's so much packaging.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Like it's almost like they're treating this jam like it's
- 14:50Speaker 1: like a, a $ 400 bottle of perfume. Like it's in
- 14:53Speaker 1: one thing and then it's got like a cover and
- 14:55Speaker 1: it's in a case and then it's in a box
- 14:57Speaker 1: and then it's in with the little like crunchy peanuts.
- 15:00Speaker 1: And then it's, I mean, it's a lot of packaging
- 15:02Speaker 1: for one little thing of like raspberry jam. But anyway,
- 15:05Speaker 1: people like it. So then she goes on, she goes,
- 15:09Speaker 1: and oh, H, he just loves me so much. I
- 15:13Speaker 1: think the thing that bothers people the most that they
- 15:15Speaker 1: call each other H & M and not because it's
- 15:18Speaker 1: a clothing store, But their names are only two syllables. Like,
- 15:23Speaker 1: if Harry's name was, like, Humalanga Gobbalabadis, and she's like,
- 15:27Speaker 1: I'm just going to call you H. We'd be like,
- 15:29Speaker 1: thank you. We don't need to have you say, the
- 15:31Speaker 1: way Humalanga Gobbalak Chopalopatopadilis, you know, expialidocious, makes me coffee
- 15:38Speaker 1: every day. I just call him H. It's Harry. It's Meghan.
- 15:41Speaker 1: It's weird. It's just strange. And I think it's all
- 15:44Speaker 1: those little things. But I think this is, you know,
- 15:46Speaker 1: who she is. She is the breadwinner now. We don't
- 15:49Speaker 1: know what Harry's doing. She's got the podcast. She's got
- 15:52Speaker 1: the Netflix show. And I've always said she's just not
- 15:56Speaker 1: really funny and she's not really interesting. But the things
- 15:59Speaker 1: that she tries to get across, like, and that man, H,
- 16:03Speaker 1: he just loves me so much. And it's like at
- 16:05Speaker 1: the end of Mario Brothers, that at the very end
- 16:09Speaker 1: of it, and the host is just like, yeah, as
- 16:12Speaker 1: if she knows what the end of, I don't know
- 16:14Speaker 1: what the end of Mario Brothers is. And then she says,
- 16:17Speaker 1: and At the end, Mario slays the dragon and rescues
- 16:23Speaker 1: the princess, and that is H every day. He protects
- 16:27Speaker 1: our family. And I'm like, well, he's not helping you
- 16:30Speaker 1: with breakfast or taking the kids to school while you
- 16:32Speaker 1: have the meetings and the podcast to do. And also,
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, you have meetings to do your podcast? Like,
- 16:37Speaker 1: it's just me, like, up at 2 a.m., like, reading things. Anyway,
- 16:41Speaker 1: poor me. Obviously, my life is great, and so is hers. Okay,
- 16:44Speaker 1: so that... There we are with that. There's also an
- 16:48Speaker 1: article that says that Prince William is to strip Meghan
- 16:52Speaker 1: Markle of her royal title after becoming king. This is
- 16:55Speaker 1: a page six report. I don't know. I guess you're
- 16:58Speaker 1: not supposed to use the Sussex names for anything, but
- 17:02Speaker 1: then like someone will see that there'll be like a
- 17:05Speaker 1: little like TikTok or something and she'll give someone a
- 17:08Speaker 1: thank you note and she'll sign it as like the
- 17:11Speaker 1: Sussexes or Duchess Sussex. I don't know. It's like, oh God.
- 17:15Speaker 1: who cares? But now it's like, she needs us to
- 17:17Speaker 1: talk about her because what else is there? So, um, yeah, that's,
- 17:23Speaker 1: that's just, that's her. And yeah, it's just lovely. And,
- 17:29Speaker 1: and that's it. You know, it's just, it's simple, simple things.
- 17:32Speaker 1: It's leave it. Oh, this was the other thing she
- 17:34Speaker 1: said that she tells the girl who's just smiling and,
- 17:38Speaker 1: you know, so happy to be in her presence. And
- 17:41Speaker 1: she says, um, And I got these email accounts, which
- 17:45Speaker 1: I won't say what they are. They're in other people's names.
- 17:49Speaker 1: But it's a way for me to email my children.
- 17:52Speaker 1: And I email them every single night. And I just
- 17:55Speaker 1: leave them a message of just, I was really proud
- 17:58Speaker 1: of you today when you did that art project or
- 18:01Speaker 1: finished your sandwich. And when they're 16 or 18, they'll
- 18:06Speaker 1: be able to open this email account and read all these.
- 18:11Speaker 1: And Again, people are like, is this real? Does she
- 18:13Speaker 1: really do this? And would you really want this? You know,
- 18:18Speaker 1: now that I have older kids, they would not want to.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Neither one of my kids would be like, you know
- 18:24Speaker 1: what I really want to do? I want to read
- 18:26Speaker 1: a bunch of emails from my mom from when I
- 18:28Speaker 1: was four. In fact, I want to read 365 of
- 18:30Speaker 1: them from when I was four. I don't believe that
- 18:34Speaker 1: she does this every night. Maybe she does it once
- 18:36Speaker 1: in a while. It's kind of a cute idea, but
- 18:39Speaker 1: nobody's going to be doing this every night. I just
- 18:41Speaker 1: don't believe it. Anyway, but good for her. She's, you know, whatever.

- 19:18Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 19:21Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 19:25Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 19:29Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 19:35Speaker 4: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 19:37Speaker 4: filed against me.
- 19:38Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 19:40Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 19:43Speaker 5: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 19:46Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 19:48Speaker 4: He said, I have a work dad.
- 19:49Speaker 5: I need a home dad what happens next when i
- 19:52Speaker 5: came in he started crying everybody in life encounters hardships
- 19:55Speaker 5: what defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 19:59Speaker 5: go through it's about what happens next i.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Decided to risk it all i realized how valuable every
- 20:04Speaker 1: day was you're worth the work.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Listen Star, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 20:08Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 20:10Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 20:24Speaker 1: Kanye, oh my God. Hollywood Unlocked is showing another live
- 20:30Speaker 1: stream he did. He has the full face covered in black,
- 20:33Speaker 1: so it's a little hard to understand what he's saying.
- 20:36Speaker 1: He's going on a full rant. There's some guy in
- 20:38Speaker 1: the back that could not be bothered. He's just like
- 20:40Speaker 1: typing away. He's screaming about his kids. I'm going to
- 20:43Speaker 1: get the lawyers. They're taking me. He, you know, says
- 20:47Speaker 1: derogatory things about Jewish people in this rant. He uses
- 20:51Speaker 1: the N word and the F a word about homosexual
- 20:54Speaker 1: people over and over and over again. And that, you know,
- 20:59Speaker 1: they're not going to take his kids away and, Oh,
- 21:03Speaker 1: my God. Meanwhile, Kim's got to deal with this and
- 21:07Speaker 1: go to France to face the elderly robbers that, you know,
- 21:12Speaker 1: threw her in a bathtub when she was naked and
- 21:14Speaker 1: tied her up to live there, you know, to be
- 21:16Speaker 1: hopefully found alive. Like, the whole awful thing. I mean,
- 21:20Speaker 1: I just... Every time I see another thing about Kanye,
- 21:24Speaker 1: it's crazy. And I don't know how someone like Wendy
- 21:27Speaker 1: Williams or Britney Spears or... anybody else for that matter
- 21:31Speaker 1: gets in some conservatorship and this guy is just, I mean,
- 21:35Speaker 1: I guess he can do what he wants, but I
- 21:39Speaker 1: would think she should be doing everything at this point.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I don't care if there's bodyguards or nannies with your kids.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Why would you want your kids around that kind of
- 21:51Speaker 1: hateful venom about anybody at any time? Like that should
- 21:57Speaker 1: be enough that until he, is committed and is on
- 22:02Speaker 1: some meds or something, that that would be enough that
- 22:05Speaker 1: you wouldn't have to have your kids around them. So
- 22:08Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe the kid, I mean, are the kids,
- 22:10Speaker 1: the kids are on the internet. Like, are they scared
- 22:12Speaker 1: of their dad? Are they dying to see him? It's crazy. Okay,
- 22:15Speaker 1: let's talk about The Valley. It really is such a
- 22:18Speaker 1: good show, you guys. I mean, it is hard to
- 22:20Speaker 1: watch because it's a lot of divorce and a lot
- 22:24Speaker 1: of like custody issues and whatnot. And, you know, Jesse,
- 22:28Speaker 1: who I really disliked, He goes and says on this
- 22:33Speaker 1: group chat to all these guys that his soon-to-be ex-wife, Michelle,
- 22:38Speaker 1: who has a boyfriend, was not only cheating on him,
- 22:42Speaker 1: but he also believes now that she gets paid $ 1, 500
- 22:46Speaker 1: a night to have sex with a billionaire. And he
- 22:51Speaker 1: puts it into the group chat. This other guy, Danny,
- 22:54Speaker 1: tells Luke, Kristen's boyfriend, that. Then Luke— it' s all on camera— then Luke,
- 22:59Speaker 1: on camera— Tells Brittany that she said that. Then on camera,
- 23:05Speaker 1: they go to Dave and Buster's and Brittany tells Michelle,
- 23:08Speaker 1: this is what's going on in the group chat. This
- 23:10Speaker 1: is what Danny said he saw that your soon-to-be ex-husband
- 23:14Speaker 1: said about you. She cries. She's like, obviously he's saying
- 23:18Speaker 1: this because I have a boyfriend. So he's trying to
- 23:20Speaker 1: ruin my current relationship with my boyfriend that I'd be
- 23:22Speaker 1: going off like being a hooker or whatever. And they
- 23:27Speaker 1: go and approach him and he admits, no, I just
- 23:29Speaker 1: made it up. He is like the worst. And they're
- 23:32Speaker 1: supposed to go to Santa Barbara and it's his trip.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Now we know how these sophisticated Bravo people know that
- 23:38Speaker 1: Jesse isn't paying for the $ 5, 000 house, you know, for
- 23:42Speaker 1: everyone to stay out, but it's technically his trip. So
- 23:46Speaker 1: we all know that he's not paying for it. So
- 23:49Speaker 1: Michelle is like, I don't think he should go or
- 23:52Speaker 1: he should stay at a hotel. And they're like, well,
- 23:54Speaker 1: it's his trip. He's paying for the house. So, of course,
- 23:58Speaker 1: none of them want to miss the opportunity to be
- 24:00Speaker 1: on camera. They're all doing this. They're all exposing their
- 24:03Speaker 1: lives so that they get to a level of notoriety
- 24:06Speaker 1: so that they can be the Arianna Maddox and get
- 24:10Speaker 1: to be hosting events and get to be big influencers.
- 24:13Speaker 1: nobody's like doing any other job. I don't think Kristen
- 24:16Speaker 1: is really working on selling her t-shirts besides podcasts and
- 24:19Speaker 1: doing the show. I don't see Jesse or the wife
- 24:23Speaker 1: selling on any other houses. And also I'm like, God,
- 24:26Speaker 1: do you imagine with all the people that you could
- 24:28Speaker 1: choose to like list your home that you'd be like,
- 24:30Speaker 1: let me go get this dude to like list my house.
- 24:34Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm just saying that's not who I
- 24:36Speaker 1: would choose. So it, um, You know, it's really fun
- 24:42Speaker 1: kind of to watch these people that are new. We
- 24:45Speaker 1: don't know their whole life stories, but they're all so intertwined. And,
- 24:49Speaker 1: of course, Brittany is free of Jax now in this episode.
- 24:54Speaker 1: He has now gone to rehab. We know that the
- 24:58Speaker 1: reason he leaves this stint of rehab early from when
- 25:01Speaker 1: this was filmed a while ago is because they gave
- 25:03Speaker 1: him back his phone three days after taking it. They
- 25:06Speaker 1: can't keep the phones from you in rehab. And he
- 25:09Speaker 1: saw that everybody was filming and doing fun things in
- 25:11Speaker 1: Santa Barbara. And they just can't take it. The FOMO,
- 25:13Speaker 1: he just cannot take. Also, because it's his show. It's
- 25:16Speaker 1: not being on camera. It's so much more than just
- 25:18Speaker 1: seeing your friends having a good time without you. It's,
- 25:21Speaker 1: I'm missing 30 days of filming. Like, how am I
- 25:24Speaker 1: going to be featured? What's going to be said about me?
- 25:26Speaker 1: I know I'm a nightmare. Like, I get that part
- 25:30Speaker 1: of the paranoia. So she goes, Brittany goes on Watch
- 25:32Speaker 1: What Happens Live. And with Luke, which was kind of
- 25:36Speaker 1: a weird pairing. Luke is Kristen's boyfriend and I'm, and
- 25:40Speaker 1: he seems perfectly nice. Maybe they're married. She's due to
- 25:42Speaker 1: give birth any day to their daughter. And I was
- 25:46Speaker 1: just like, this must be so weird. He'd never been
- 25:49Speaker 1: to New York city. And I'm like, this must be
- 25:51Speaker 1: so weird to someone like him. Like because he chose
- 25:54Speaker 1: to like date this girl like two years ago. Now
- 25:57Speaker 1: he's in one of the most coveted like seats on
- 26:01Speaker 1: a talk show and just But that's reality TV. It's
- 26:06Speaker 1: taking people that wouldn't necessarily ever be cast in a
- 26:10Speaker 1: commercial or be a personality. But if they're part of
- 26:14Speaker 1: someone else's life and this is a show about these
- 26:17Speaker 1: people's lives. And then I want to say, yeah, that's
- 26:20Speaker 1: what makes it interesting that they weren't like curated and
- 26:22Speaker 1: casted as being like a bunch of annoying freaks. They
- 26:25Speaker 1: actually just come together and sometimes in real life. You have,
- 26:29Speaker 1: you know, like just a normal dude and he doesn't
- 26:32Speaker 1: seem to be overly affected. But you wonder, oh, my God,
- 26:36Speaker 1: is he going to catch the bug? Where will he
- 26:38Speaker 1: be in a couple of years? Will he have big,
- 26:41Speaker 1: big giant teeth like a New Jersey housewife husband? Will
- 26:45Speaker 1: you know, will he be like flirting with people? And
- 26:49Speaker 1: I hope not. But it's just you like see the
- 26:52Speaker 1: inception of it and you just hope and pray it
- 26:54Speaker 1: doesn't happen. So she, Brittany, says some juicy stuff. She's like, oh,
- 26:59Speaker 1: my God. Well, you know, they're like, do you think
- 27:01Speaker 1: you and Jax would ever get together?
- 27:02Speaker 5: No, no.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Jax and I are not getting together. And Julian, he
- 27:06Speaker 1: broke my heart, too. But I needed him to do
- 27:09Speaker 1: it because he made me feel special. He saw the
- 27:11Speaker 1: girls and he said he liked them. And Jax did. Now,
- 27:13Speaker 1: we know Jax said really mean things about her for
- 27:15Speaker 1: many years, trying to break down her self-esteem about her
- 27:18Speaker 1: looks and everything else. And so then it gets to
- 27:21Speaker 1: the snarkiest question. How is Jax in the sack? And
- 27:25Speaker 1: she's like, um, sometimes maybe a seven, but most times
- 27:29Speaker 1: just a two or three. And I was like, wow,
- 27:32Speaker 1: go for it. The gloves are off. She does not
- 27:34Speaker 1: give a fuck. And she wants any other girl that's
- 27:38Speaker 1: going to be flirting with Jax to know not that great.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I mean, he's also someone who was struggling with addictions
- 27:45Speaker 1: and they were in a horrible marriage. So yeah, maybe
- 27:48Speaker 1: when you're trying and you were, you know, pushing to
- 27:51Speaker 1: have a baby and two years ago, Brittany, which, you know,
- 27:56Speaker 1: maybe at the time you were still hopeful this marriage
- 27:58Speaker 1: would work, but he knew he didn't want to have
- 28:00Speaker 1: another kid. So that's going to affect your performance. I
- 28:03Speaker 1: would think as a dude, anyway, um, she's back in
- 28:08Speaker 1: the house. He's in an apartment. He's doing his thing
- 28:11Speaker 1: as we're watching it. And she's like hopeful, but she
- 28:14Speaker 1: is so sweet because they said, did you, um, have
- 28:18Speaker 1: you talked to Stassi? since you've announced your breakup with Jax.
- 28:25Speaker 1: And because, to remind you people, Stassi was Jax's girlfriend
- 28:29Speaker 1: at one time in the very beginning of Vanderpump Rules.
- 28:31Speaker 1: They were all friends. And Jax and Brittany were all
- 28:34Speaker 1: set to go to this, you know, very fancy Italian
- 28:38Speaker 1: wedding for Stassi and her husband. And at the last minute...
- 28:43Speaker 1: they pulled out and that, you know, would affect if
- 28:45Speaker 1: they could have invited somebody else. And, you know, I'm
- 28:47Speaker 1: sure it was a couple thousand a person, you know,
- 28:50Speaker 1: over a three day period. So it was a big pain.
- 28:52Speaker 1: And so it really pissed off Stassi, rightfully so. And
- 28:56Speaker 1: so Brittany's like, I, when I see Stassi, like at
- 28:59Speaker 1: Ocean's birthday party, I give her a big hug and
- 29:01Speaker 1: I wish her the best. And it was a really
- 29:04Speaker 1: such a classy answer. And here's the thing. She's, She
- 29:10Speaker 1: probably knows now that it was more Jax doing than
- 29:14Speaker 1: Brittany to cancel going to this wedding at the last
- 29:17Speaker 1: minute with whatever excuses there were. However, you know, some
- 29:21Speaker 1: friendships just run their course. And you can still see
- 29:25Speaker 1: somebody and give them a hug and wish them the
- 29:27Speaker 1: best and know that there just really isn't a place
- 29:31Speaker 1: in your life right now. Stassi's not on the Valley.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Stassi's on Vanderpump Villa. which now she's going to have
- 29:38Speaker 1: her own show on a whole nother show. network, Hulu,
- 29:41Speaker 1: with her group of young mommy friends and all that.
- 29:46Speaker 1: So it's like, I do believe that they do wish
- 29:49Speaker 1: each other the best, but I thought that was a
- 29:51Speaker 1: really good question, and I thought Brittany really is the
- 29:55Speaker 1: girl that has the heart of gold and It just
- 29:58Speaker 1: seems to be she keeps proving that about her character.
- 30:00Speaker 1: So that's why everyone's wishing well for her. When Jax
- 30:04Speaker 1: is promoting something for himself, I see the comments are
- 30:07Speaker 1: turned off, especially after an episode of the show. And
- 30:11Speaker 1: he's got to make his money, too. And they make
- 30:13Speaker 1: their money having drama and doing their things and bringing
- 30:17Speaker 1: up things themselves. on the show to keep it going
- 30:20Speaker 1: and it's working. It's very entertaining. Okay. Remember when we,
- 30:24Speaker 1: when Kat Williams was just like spilling the beans about everything. Well,
- 30:28Speaker 1: one of the places that everyone references is when he
- 30:31Speaker 1: went on Shannon Sharpe's show, the Shay Shay club, and
- 30:36Speaker 1: basically predicted everything that would go down with Diddy being arrested.
- 30:41Speaker 1: And the, the sex stuff that happens within the industry,
- 30:45Speaker 1: especially with black men and, both straight and, you know,
- 30:50Speaker 1: homosexual activity.
- 30:51Speaker 5: Okay.
- 30:51Speaker 1: All of that. Shannon Sharp is of like, he's like 57.
- 30:57Speaker 1: He was this big NFL player, but he's really made
- 30:59Speaker 1: it in the hosting world, you know, sports, NFL, ESPN.
- 31:05Speaker 1: And then in the podcasting world, he has like several
- 31:08Speaker 1: shows and he was ready to sign a hundred million
- 31:12Speaker 1: dollar new podcast deal with probably a couple other shows
- 31:16Speaker 1: underneath and whatever. Well, right before that, this girl comes
- 31:21Speaker 1: out and is suing him for $ 50 million for S.A.
- 31:26Speaker 1: throughout their relationship, which was like a, you know, a,
- 31:32Speaker 1: what do you call it, S & M type of
- 31:34Speaker 1: a relationship. He said it was consensual. She said on
- 31:39Speaker 1: several occasions it wasn't. And, you know, so that is
- 31:41Speaker 1: why she's suing. The attorney, I believe, is that Busby
- 31:45Speaker 1: attorney that had brought a lot of people forward in
- 31:48Speaker 1: the P. Diddy cases. He goes on and says this
- 31:51Speaker 1: is a shakedown, but in trying to defend himself, he
- 31:55Speaker 1: also reveals, yeah, this is a girl I met at
- 31:57Speaker 1: the gym. She was 19. I was 56 at the time.
- 32:01Speaker 1: We dated, but she was into this S & M
- 32:03Speaker 1: stuff too, so here's all the messages that show that
- 32:07Speaker 1: she's was into it where she'd write them and say,
- 32:10Speaker 1: I know you like my cheeks, have a 25 K
- 32:12Speaker 1: for each one, like her butt asking for money saying
- 32:15Speaker 1: she wanted him to give her a black baby. Like
- 32:19Speaker 1: it's just a show. And she's got an only fans account, everything. Anyway,
- 32:25Speaker 1: the latest is the a hundred million dollar podcast deal
- 32:28Speaker 1: is off the table. ESPN is said goodbye. And you know,
- 32:33Speaker 1: a lot of the people commenting on this is like,
- 32:35Speaker 1: what happened? Why do certain men feel that they have
- 32:41Speaker 1: to go for such a young girl? But it's not
- 32:45Speaker 1: even that. It's like, people are into the freaky stuff.
- 32:48Speaker 1: That's fine. But people, even young, like 35-year-old men, are
- 32:51Speaker 1: really turned off that this 56-year-old man who has daughters
- 32:54Speaker 1: in their mid-20s was pursuing a 19-year-old girl in this fashion.
- 33:00Speaker 1: And now there's other accounts of people that have come
- 33:03Speaker 1: forward that, you know, have claimed different things that have
- 33:08Speaker 1: happened in various lawsuits and former arrests of Shannon Sharp.
- 33:13Speaker 1: And it's just, you know, it's very interesting being in
- 33:18Speaker 1: where his career was in all this past year and
- 33:21Speaker 1: where it is right now, and that this came at
- 33:23Speaker 1: the cusp of a potential $ 100 billion deal, which is
- 33:26Speaker 1: now allegedly off the table. All right, you guys, we're

- 34:06Speaker 1: interview that you guys will be very intrigued by. I
- 34:09Speaker 1: know it. Here we go. Hello, and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well,
- 34:12Speaker 1: I have a real juicy story right from the person
- 34:16Speaker 1: who lived it. I am here with Brett Fairley. He
- 34:21Speaker 1: has kind of made a splash recently on... On the
- 34:25Speaker 1: old internet, telling his true story. This is one of
- 34:30Speaker 1: those stories that several of you sent me because it
- 34:32Speaker 1: involves a pregnancy, a lot of lies, so many lies.
- 34:40Speaker 1: And let's just get into it. First of all, I
- 34:43Speaker 1: just can't believe how much you went through with this.
- 34:47Speaker 1: So in a nutshell, I'm going to let him tell.
- 34:49Speaker 1: A woman that he did have sex with, Said she
- 34:53Speaker 1: was having his child and he was very cooperative and
- 34:57Speaker 1: didn't mean to be participatory. Yeah. But was only to
- 35:01Speaker 1: find out that a lot of things weren't true. So
- 35:05Speaker 1: let's just start from the beginning of how you met
- 35:08Speaker 1: this woman. That's what I want to hear from Mississippi.
- 35:11Speaker 4: Yes. We're from Mississippi. She was living in New Orleans
- 35:14Speaker 4: at the time. And it was, you know, mid-December, I believe.
- 35:19Speaker 4: It was the picture that went viral of the 12-22. Yeah,
- 35:23Speaker 4: 12-12-20 with me holding up the sign.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:26Speaker 4: Saying Maria loves Brett. That was the day we met
- 35:29Speaker 4: at a restaurant, me and my brother. And she was
- 35:32Speaker 4: having a birthday party. And after having some drinks, they
- 35:35Speaker 4: invited us over to their birthday party. And then one
- 35:38Speaker 4: thing led to another, and we go out that night.
- 35:40Speaker 4: And that's the fateful night that I met Maria.
- 35:42Speaker 1: So who wrote the note?
- 35:45Speaker 4: It was in my handwriting.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:48Speaker 4: It's funny now, looking back in hindsight, that it says
- 35:51Speaker 4: Maria loves me.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:53Speaker 4: Not the other way around.
- 35:54Speaker 1: But so you meet her and it's fun. Now, what
- 35:57Speaker 1: does she, how old were both of you and what
- 36:00Speaker 1: was she doing for a living at the time?
- 36:03Speaker 4: She was an apartment manager in New Orleans, I believe, or,
- 36:07Speaker 4: you know, several building complexes. I was 24 and I
- 36:11Speaker 4: had an Airbnb business that I was running and she
- 36:15Speaker 4: had just turned 30 or 31. Okay.
- 36:17Speaker 1: So you guys hook up. You've had sex.
- 36:21Speaker 5: Correct.
- 36:22Speaker 1: And then when does she propose that maybe you could
- 36:25Speaker 1: just help give her a baby, no strings attached?
- 36:28Speaker 4: So she's, it's a small town, and she comes over
- 36:31Speaker 4: every weekend. There's like two or three bars, so we
- 36:33Speaker 4: always see each other around. And she actually hooks up
- 36:38Speaker 4: with some friends of mine, so she's in the vicinity
- 36:41Speaker 4: of the group.
- 36:43Speaker 2: And.
- 36:44Speaker 4: It was all the way in.
- 36:45Speaker 1: So how does that work with guys? Like, so as
- 36:49Speaker 1: long as it's not, like, a serious thing, you don't
- 36:51Speaker 1: really care if your, like, booty call is also, like,
- 36:55Speaker 1: a buddy's booty call? That doesn't matter? Or just with
- 36:58Speaker 1: certain girls it doesn't matter?
- 37:00Speaker 4: I guess with certain girls it doesn't matter. It's not
- 37:02Speaker 4: the kind of girl you would date.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 37:04Speaker 4: So it's like, you know, if you're, I don't know.
- 37:07Speaker 4: I imagine, I didn't go to a big college, but
- 37:09Speaker 4: I'm sure that happens a lot in college also. Okay. Okay. Um,
- 37:11Speaker 4: it's just, you know, something, you know, you're not going
- 37:13Speaker 4: to date this person. Why be serious?
- 37:14Speaker 1: You're not going to be serious.
- 37:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Okay.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Um, so what was the question?
- 37:19Speaker 1: So you'd see her around.
- 37:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:20Speaker 1: You guys were like, sounds like sort of like a
- 37:22Speaker 1: booty call friend.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Benefit situation.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Then we get to April and I get a text
- 37:29Speaker 4: kind of out of the blue and she says, you know, Hey, like,
- 37:32Speaker 4: would you consider being a sperm donor for me? And
- 37:35Speaker 4: at first I'm like, absolutely not. Like, this is insane.
- 37:37Speaker 4: I'm sure my friends are like, yeah, it's insane. But, like,
- 37:41Speaker 4: after some convincing, she's like, you know, you want to
- 37:43Speaker 4: be involved. You will never, you know, have to be
- 37:46Speaker 4: financially responsible. Like, I'm getting of age where all my
- 37:50Speaker 4: friends are having kids. I haven't had luck. You know,
- 37:53Speaker 4: I'm 30 years old. And I'm just struggling to find somebody.
- 37:58Speaker 4: And I think it's my time. I really would like
- 38:00Speaker 4: to have a baby. So, me being me, I don't
- 38:04Speaker 4: ask anybody for any advice.
- 38:05Speaker 1: You don't ask your mom or dad or your brother?
- 38:07Speaker 4: No, I didn't ask my parents anything. I didn't tell
- 38:10Speaker 4: them at all. My brother is actually the one who
- 38:12Speaker 4: told them. And then they never even told me about
- 38:16Speaker 4: it until Maria started reaching out that they knew.
- 38:18Speaker 1: That they knew that you had agreed to do this.
- 38:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:21Speaker 1: And so you do it the old fashioned way. You
- 38:24Speaker 1: don't actually go to like a sperm bank and like,
- 38:26Speaker 1: you know, you have sex to be the sperm donor.
- 38:29Speaker 4: Yeah. That was the selling point was, you know, I've
- 38:31Speaker 4: already hooked up, you know, IVF is super expensive. Like,
- 38:36Speaker 4: Just do me this solid, like it's a really nice thing.
- 38:38Speaker 4: And I'm like, okay, I'm going to do something nice
- 38:41Speaker 4: for somebody.
- 38:42Speaker 1: This was your Christian service for the year?
- 38:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:44Speaker 4: So I have the best luck in the world, and
- 38:48Speaker 4: I feel like whatever you put into the world, you
- 38:50Speaker 4: get good out. Okay. So I'm like, this is my
- 38:52Speaker 4: good deed for the year, you know? I'm giving someone life.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Okay. But you didn't think about that it would be
- 38:58Speaker 1: weird to know that there was a kid walking around
- 39:01Speaker 1: that wasn't part of your life, or you just weren't
- 39:03Speaker 1: at that mature mindset yet?
- 39:06Speaker 4: The first initial time she asked me, I was like,
- 39:08Speaker 4: I thought about that. And I was like, no, I'm
- 39:11Speaker 4: not going to do that because, you know, it's just weird.
- 39:14Speaker 4: Kind of the same town. We're going to run into
- 39:16Speaker 4: each other. And, you know, after she asked me and
- 39:21Speaker 4: then I agreed to it, to be honest, when I
- 39:24Speaker 4: was sold off, I wouldn't be responsible and I didn't
- 39:28Speaker 4: have to be there financially. It was just an open
- 39:31Speaker 4: and shut case. I thought that that would be it.
- 39:35Speaker 4: I never even thought about having to see her again.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Okay. So when did she let you know that it
- 39:40Speaker 1: was a successful sperm donation?
- 39:43Speaker 4: It was June 6, 2021.
- 39:45Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 39:49Speaker 4: I had just gotten back from a Memorial Day party
- 39:51Speaker 4: in California, flew back home, and we actually went and
- 39:55Speaker 4: got bottomless mimosas, and that's when she told me she
- 39:58Speaker 4: was pregnant.
- 39:59Speaker 1: With her, while she's drinking the mimosas?
- 40:02Speaker 4: We were blackout, yeah.
- 40:04Speaker 1: And did you say, don't you think it's probably not
- 40:06Speaker 1: a great idea to be drinking?
- 40:08Speaker 4: I didn't say it at that restaurant. We immediately went
- 40:10Speaker 4: to another one and met up with my friend and
- 40:12Speaker 4: his girlfriend, and they were like, tap each other like
- 40:16Speaker 4: this is fucking weird.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Right like why is she when she told you was
- 40:19Speaker 1: your a thought like what was your initial thought good
- 40:23Speaker 1: bad like is this even real like what was your
- 40:26Speaker 1: initial thought.
- 40:28Speaker 4: In one of the videos that i posted i think
- 40:31Speaker 4: and i quote i said fuck this place i'm moving
- 40:33Speaker 4: to california and that was it like congratulations i'm not.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Buzzed obviously yeah okay so then then what happens.
- 40:43Speaker 4: I moved to California, and.
- 40:47Speaker 1: While I'm out there, I get— And she's still in Mississippi.
- 40:51Speaker 4: Yeah, she's still in Mississippi, New Orleans, wherever. She reaches
- 40:55Speaker 4: out to my mom, and she starts telling my mom
- 40:58Speaker 4: that she has no one in her life. And she
- 41:01Speaker 4: actually asked my mom verbatim, if something ever happens to me, Maria,
- 41:06Speaker 4: will you take care of the baby because I have
- 41:08Speaker 4: no one in my life? So my mom's relaying this
- 41:10Speaker 4: to me. And so it's my dad. They already have
- 41:13Speaker 4: three granddaughters. They're like, hey, you should really be there
- 41:16Speaker 4: for this. She has no one. There's going to be
- 41:18Speaker 4: a daughter that grows up without a dad.
- 41:20Speaker 1: So is that how she found out your mom? Or
- 41:22Speaker 1: does she knew before, but she didn't let you know
- 41:24Speaker 1: that a baby was coming through your brother?
- 41:26Speaker 4: I'm not sure exactly when my brother told her. I
- 41:31Speaker 4: just know that my mom told me that Trent, my brother,
- 41:34Speaker 4: is the one who outed me on that and made
- 41:37Speaker 4: me look dumb in front of them.
- 41:38Speaker 5: Okay.
- 41:41Speaker 1: So then you know the baby's coming so she says
- 41:46Speaker 1: you should be involved so you do go for the
- 41:49Speaker 1: birth right?
- 41:50Speaker 4: Yes I go to the birth I fly home from
- 41:53Speaker 4: California spent almost $ 700 on flights and whenever I get
- 41:58Speaker 4: there it's super strange because I don't know this person
- 42:00Speaker 4: I hooked up a couple times and got her pregnant
- 42:05Speaker 4: but I'm in this delivery room watching this super intimate
- 42:08Speaker 4: thing with someone I don't know their middle name I
- 42:10Speaker 4: don't know where they live. Like, I don't know anything
- 42:12Speaker 4: about this person. So I'm watching this stranger give birth
- 42:15Speaker 4: to a child that's mine.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 42:17Speaker 4: It was just super.
- 42:18Speaker 1: And your mom was just, like, in, like, grandma mode, just.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Being, like, lovely, helpful. My parents put on their nicest outfits.
- 42:25Speaker 4: It was during COVID time, so that was sitting in
- 42:27Speaker 4: the lobby, and they couldn't come up the whole time. But,
- 42:31Speaker 4: I mean, my parents were the only ones that showed up,
- 42:32Speaker 4: me and my parents.
- 42:34Speaker 1: So then how does now this arrangement work now that
- 42:37Speaker 1: the baby's here?
- 42:39Speaker 4: So now... After the baby's born, I stay for two weeks,
- 42:43Speaker 4: and then we go back to my place that I'm
- 42:48Speaker 4: doing the Airbnb at and do a photo shoot, and
- 42:50Speaker 4: that's when she orders the little handkerchief for my dog
- 42:54Speaker 4: that says Big Brother. And after I leave and go
- 42:59Speaker 4: back to California, she gets upset whenever I don't say
- 43:02Speaker 4: bye to her. My dog couldn't fly back with me.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Oh.
- 43:05Speaker 4: The crate rule, and I was, like, really upset my
- 43:07Speaker 4: dog couldn't. come back with me so I'm like crying
- 43:09Speaker 4: over my dog and you know I tell the baby
- 43:12Speaker 4: bye and Maria I don't know so I'm just like
- 43:14Speaker 4: you know later and for like the next two weeks
- 43:19Speaker 4: I was trying to get like updates of the baby
- 43:21Speaker 4: and she was just ignoring me and my mom had
- 43:23Speaker 4: to go pick up my dog in New Orleans and
- 43:26Speaker 4: she told my mom that she was limiting access for
- 43:30Speaker 4: me to the baby because she didn't like how I
- 43:32Speaker 4: told her goodbye whenever I moved back.
- 43:34Speaker 1: So then was your mom like Brett, you've got to
- 43:37Speaker 1: be nicer, or was your mom right from the start?
- 43:40Speaker 4: She didn't tell me this in the beginning. I learned
- 43:42Speaker 4: all this later down the line.
- 43:44Speaker 1: When did your mom realize this is major red flags?
- 43:47Speaker 1: What did we get ourselves into?
- 43:49Speaker 4: It was two months later, or I guess a month
- 43:52Speaker 4: and a half later, during Easter. That's when my mom
- 43:55Speaker 4: says that she first saw Maria's grip tightening and switching
- 44:02Speaker 4: the roles from me just being a sperm donor, not
- 44:04Speaker 4: financially responsible, to making me something more than we agreed upon. Okay.
- 44:11Speaker 1: So then, but she's not asking you for money yet.
- 44:15Speaker 4: Not yet. I think it was a few weeks later
- 44:18Speaker 4: and she first initially asked.
- 44:19Speaker 1: And what'd she say?
- 44:21Speaker 4: Well, it was the text in my videos showing where
- 44:25Speaker 4: she's asking to stay in my Airbnb for two months
- 44:27Speaker 4: for free. And I don't respond for an hour or two.
- 44:31Speaker 4: And immediately she's like, I want to take the rights
- 44:33Speaker 4: and custody away of your kid. You're not going to
- 44:35Speaker 4: see her again unless you let us stay. We're not
- 44:37Speaker 4: asking for much, which keep in mind, this is how
- 44:40Speaker 4: I'm making money. This is everything to me. But her
- 44:44Speaker 4: saying that she's going to take the kid away from me,
- 44:46Speaker 4: I have to bend the knee and agree.
- 44:49Speaker 1: And is there a part of you that's like, wait
- 44:51Speaker 1: a minute. I thought, you know, she was financially independent,
- 44:54Speaker 1: which is why she was like, I can be a
- 44:57Speaker 1: single mom and I don't need this. And suddenly she
- 44:59Speaker 1: doesn't even have a place to stay.
- 45:02Speaker 4: That's what's weird about it. She was saying daycare so
- 45:04Speaker 4: much that she's going to take a job that's a
- 45:06Speaker 4: pay cut so she can stay at home with the baby,
- 45:10Speaker 4: but she just needs a couple months to save up
- 45:13Speaker 4: some money so she can make that transition. Okay. And
- 45:16Speaker 4: that's how I was sold on let me have your
- 45:18Speaker 4: house for free.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Okay. So now she's at the house.
- 45:21Speaker 5: Yes.
- 45:23Speaker 1: And what are people think, like what is the vibe?
- 45:26Speaker 1: Are people like you should try to be a bigger
- 45:28Speaker 1: part of it? Are they like? I think this is
- 45:30Speaker 1: so weird. Like, what is the friends and family saying?
- 45:34Speaker 4: It's funny because outside looking in, I'm sure it looks
- 45:39Speaker 4: absolutely ridiculous. Yeah. But for us, like, it was like, hey, like,
- 45:43Speaker 4: we're doing Easter at the house. You know, all my
- 45:45Speaker 4: friends and family are there. This is my baby. Everyone's
- 45:48Speaker 4: treating it as such. And everyone knows me and Maria
- 45:52Speaker 4: aren't together and never have been. So it's just there's
- 45:55Speaker 4: two people. they came together and had a baby and
- 45:58Speaker 4: now we all get to enjoy this baby.
- 46:00Speaker 1: So then when she would get possessive and controlling, did,
- 46:03Speaker 1: did you just think, Oh, like, Oh, it's postpartum or,
- 46:08Speaker 1: or did you think, wait, I think she likes me
- 46:11Speaker 1: in a more romantic way and is hoping that we'll
- 46:14Speaker 1: like get married. Like, what do you think, what were
- 46:17Speaker 1: you thinking as she was tightening the grip and all
- 46:19Speaker 1: of that?
- 46:21Speaker 4: Nothing. I'm such an optimist. I'm just like, Oh, you know, whatever,
- 46:24Speaker 4: like this is what she wants. I'll give in and make,
- 46:26Speaker 4: peace I'll calm everything down and I'm just a solution
- 46:30Speaker 4: finder so there's a problem she wants money and like
- 46:34Speaker 4: okay here's more money this is what you want.
- 46:36Speaker 1: And so then when do you so then you do
- 46:38Speaker 1: start paying like a set amount yes after the courts
- 46:43Speaker 1: or you just agreed to that.
- 46:45Speaker 4: So she was upset about something again and threatened to
- 46:49Speaker 4: take my rights away as a father and I've never
- 46:51Speaker 4: been in court a day in my life I didn't
- 46:53Speaker 4: know how the the court systems worked with fathers and
- 46:57Speaker 4: But from what she was telling me, she could go
- 47:00Speaker 4: and get all the rights taken and I would never
- 47:01Speaker 4: see her again.
- 47:02Speaker 1: And now you're becoming attached.
- 47:05Speaker 4: Well, this is almost a year and a half, two
- 47:07Speaker 4: years in.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Oh, two years in. Yes.
- 47:10Speaker 4: Oh, wow. So this is where I get the back
- 47:13Speaker 4: child support and the $ 10, 000 upfront thing.
- 47:16Speaker 1: So she does take you to court.
- 47:19Speaker 4: Technically, we don't go into a courtroom.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Okay, but you agree to it.
- 47:23Speaker 4: I didn't know how it worked. I didn't want to
- 47:24Speaker 4: hire a lawyer. I was living in Nashville now.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Okay.
- 47:28Speaker 4: And it's a seven-hour drive from Nashville to my hometown.
- 47:31Speaker 4: And I just didn't feel like going to deal with
- 47:32Speaker 4: court stuff. I had work. I was living my own life.
- 47:35Speaker 4: But still being there like every two weeks for the daughter.
- 47:39Speaker 4: And she hires a lawyer. And he actually reaches out
- 47:43Speaker 4: to me. And he's doing what lawyers I now do now.
- 47:47Speaker 4: Or I know that they do now. And selling me
- 47:51Speaker 4: on Maria's deal. He's like, oh, you're not going to
- 47:54Speaker 4: get a better deal than this. This is... the best
- 47:57Speaker 4: it's going to get. Like, I know she's a little crazy.
- 47:59Speaker 4: Like he's relating to me and he's selling me on this,
- 48:02Speaker 4: this deal.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Of paying this certain amount a month.
- 48:05Speaker 4: Cause yeah, they were, they did what anyone would do
- 48:08Speaker 4: in that situation. If I was a lawyer, they're telling
- 48:10Speaker 4: me I'm going to pay like double that. If we
- 48:11Speaker 4: go to court, you're going to hire a lawyer, you're
- 48:13Speaker 4: going to pay double.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Right.
- 48:14Speaker 4: You're going to pay, you know, X amount of dollars
- 48:17Speaker 4: more in child support. They're going to come out to
- 48:19Speaker 4: your job. They're going to garnish your wages. So I'm like,
- 48:22Speaker 4: Oh my God, I don't have time to deal with this.
- 48:24Speaker 4: I still want to see my daughter. I can't see her.
- 48:27Speaker 4: until I signed this deal. So I signed the deal.
- 48:31Speaker 4: And then 10 days later, I'd wire her $ 10, 000. And
- 48:34Speaker 4: a month after that, I start paying her $ 750 a month.
- 48:38Speaker 1: And then are you, but you're, you're still able to
- 48:41Speaker 1: have contact and see her. Do you have like a schedule,
- 48:43Speaker 1: like every other weekend or.
- 48:45Speaker 4: So in that deal, I was supposed to get the
- 48:47Speaker 4: entire month of June. And then I had like Christmas
- 48:50Speaker 4: and a few other select holidays, like father's day. And, um,
- 48:56Speaker 4: there are, The verbal agreement was we're going to do
- 48:59Speaker 4: every other weekend. And even if I wasn't in town
- 49:02Speaker 4: because of work or whatever, she always followed the every
- 49:07Speaker 4: other weekend with my parents. And anytime she wanted to travel,
- 49:10Speaker 4: my parents were the free babysitters. Okay. Right.
- 49:14Speaker 1: But I'm sure they like.
- 49:16Speaker 4: They are obsessed with her. She's perfect.
- 49:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:18Speaker 4: And. it's heartbreaking now to see what, you know, Maria
- 49:22Speaker 4: did to my parents.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Well, let's just... Let's get to that part. So now,
- 49:27Speaker 1: through this time, you meet your current girlfriend, right?
- 49:30Speaker 5: Yes.
- 49:31Speaker 1: And Hadley is your girlfriend who I just met, and
- 49:34Speaker 1: she's beautiful.
- 49:35Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 49:36Speaker 1: And she's a nurse. But she also... was kind of
- 49:40Speaker 1: like an influencer, right? She had a big following?
- 49:42Speaker 4: Yeah, she has a big following. You know, people love
- 49:47Speaker 4: her on the internet. She's incredibly sweet. And whenever we met,
- 49:51Speaker 4: I actually didn't know any of that. Our first date
- 49:53Speaker 4: went horrible, and I was like, yeah, I'm never going
- 49:55Speaker 4: to see her again. Ended up working out beautifully now.
- 49:58Speaker 1: In the first date, did you tell her that you
- 50:00Speaker 1: had a child with a woman that you never had
- 50:02Speaker 1: a relationship with?
- 50:03Speaker 4: I told her the day that I met her. We
- 50:04Speaker 4: were walking on the treadmill at the gym, and Before,
- 50:10Speaker 4: I've always been plagued with, like, I don't think I'll
- 50:13Speaker 4: ever have a girlfriend because I have this crazy story. Like,
- 50:16Speaker 4: I have this woman who's, like, controlling my life, like,
- 50:19Speaker 4: telling me I can't date, can't have girlfriends. So I'm like,
- 50:22Speaker 4: you know, I'm going to try something different this time.
- 50:24Speaker 4: I'm going to be open up, going to be completely open.
- 50:27Speaker 4: And within, like, the first five or ten minutes of
- 50:28Speaker 4: talking to Hadley, I tell her this crazy story. And
- 50:31Speaker 4: she's like, what did you just say? And I was like, yeah,
- 50:34Speaker 4: it's kind of crazy, but I love her. It's the
- 50:36Speaker 4: situation I'm in. I'm dealing with it.
- 50:37Speaker 1: You love the baby.
- 50:38Speaker 5: Yes.
- 50:39Speaker 4: And she's like, okay, like that's, that's fair.
- 50:42Speaker 1: And she also was a single mom at that time.
- 50:46Speaker 1: She wasn't married and now she was single.
- 50:48Speaker 5: Yep.
- 50:48Speaker 4: She was going through a divorce and she's single mom now.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Okay. So when, cause I watched some of your videos
- 50:56Speaker 1: and this is always very interesting, you know, with certain, uh,
- 51:01Speaker 1: female personality types, when you would think that, oh, this
- 51:06Speaker 1: is cool. Now, when you have the baby, you're with
- 51:10Speaker 1: not only a woman who's a nurse, but one who
- 51:13Speaker 1: has kids herself. So, you know, oftentimes I would think
- 51:18Speaker 1: a woman would be a little scared or, oh gosh,
- 51:21Speaker 1: can this single bachelor like be okay with my kid? Oh,
- 51:24Speaker 1: thank God he's got, but because obviously there's no romance,
- 51:28Speaker 1: there's no relationship, but with certain women, whether they think
- 51:31Speaker 1: there's a relationship or not, they're so possessive of their
- 51:35Speaker 1: child that it sounds to me that that is, was
- 51:37Speaker 1: her trigger. to know that Hadley was in your life?
- 51:42Speaker 4: Instantly, just see, I was already dealing with Maria and
- 51:47Speaker 4: what I've shown in the videos. Whenever I met Hadley,
- 51:50Speaker 4: it just escalated because, you know, a few months before that,
- 51:55Speaker 4: she was asking for us to be a family. I'm like,
- 51:59Speaker 4: I was polite. No, thank you. It's not what I want.
- 52:02Speaker 4: And whenever I met Hadley, it was like watching someone
- 52:07Speaker 4: lose grip and control I don't know if she was
- 52:09Speaker 4: like waiting for me to get out of this like
- 52:11Speaker 4: party boy phase and like slow down, but like, okay,
- 52:14Speaker 4: like I'm older now. I want to settle into a
- 52:17Speaker 4: family role. And the whole time I was just being
- 52:20Speaker 4: picky with someone I wanted to date. Like whenever I
- 52:22Speaker 4: met Hadley, I was like, oh my God, you exist.
- 52:25Speaker 4: Like you only want to date a single father because
- 52:27Speaker 4: she knew the struggle of being a single parent. And
- 52:30Speaker 4: there's things you have to balance with that. So it
- 52:32Speaker 4: worked perfect for us.
- 52:35Speaker 1: But do you think part of it too is that she's,
- 52:39Speaker 1: you know, kind of an exceptional woman, you know, Hadley is.
- 52:42Speaker 1: So it's like, I don't know if you dated someone else.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Do you think she'd be that insane?
- 52:48Speaker 4: Yeah. I mean, it's definitely way worse with Hadley because
- 52:51Speaker 4: Hadley is who she is. And it would be like
- 52:54Speaker 4: my worst nightmare if I was Maria, if I started
- 52:56Speaker 4: dating Hadley, I mean, successful, beautiful, great mom, you know,
- 53:01Speaker 4: everything that, you know, Maria thought she could be for me.
- 53:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:06Speaker 4: Hadley actually is. And It was just, I don't know.
- 53:11Speaker 1: So tell the story about Lowe's.
- 53:14Speaker 4: The Lowe's incident. That was a story that Maria's family
- 53:18Speaker 4: liked to get twisted and try to make me look
- 53:21Speaker 4: like the bad guy. And the only reason I was
- 53:25Speaker 4: allowed to even see the baby that day is because
- 53:28Speaker 4: I had to pay Maria. She was withholding the baby
- 53:30Speaker 4: from me. And whenever I called her the night before,
- 53:35Speaker 4: I asked her, can I pick up the baby tomorrow
- 53:37Speaker 4: from daycare? She said, absolutely. So I go pick up
- 53:40Speaker 4: the baby. We go to Target. Usually she gives me
- 53:42Speaker 4: a diaper bag or something. She'll still be in, you know,
- 53:45Speaker 4: which I guess I have my own stuff with me.
- 53:48Speaker 4: But I went and got a new diaper bag, you know,
- 53:50Speaker 4: all the new clothes, got school clothes. And we do
- 53:53Speaker 4: some errands. We go to eat lunch and then pick
- 53:56Speaker 4: up Hadley and we go to Lowe's. We're redoing a
- 53:58Speaker 4: bedroom upstairs for the girls.
- 54:01Speaker 1: For Hadley's kids.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Yep.
- 54:03Speaker 4: We're making it all match.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Now were you living together with Hadley?
- 54:08Speaker 4: Uh, I still had my own house.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 54:10Speaker 4: So we weren't officially, you know, moved in completely together.
- 54:14Speaker 4: We just bought a new house recently.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Oh, nice.
- 54:16Speaker 4: So now we are.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Congrats.
- 54:17Speaker 4: Thank you. Um, anyways, the Lowe's incident, I pick her
- 54:22Speaker 4: up and we're in the paint department. She calls me
- 54:26Speaker 4: or I text her and I said, Hey, I got
- 54:29Speaker 4: new clothes for school tomorrow. Can she stay the night
- 54:32Speaker 4: with us? And she immediately calls me and it's not, Hey,
- 54:37Speaker 4: Thanks for getting new clothes. Hope you're all having fun.
- 54:39Speaker 4: Is Hadley with you? I was like, yeah, Hadley's with me.
- 54:43Speaker 4: And then that's when she just starts freaking out on
- 54:47Speaker 4: the phone.
- 54:47Speaker 1: And did she scream? Use profanity? Like, what's a freak out?
- 54:50Speaker 4: It is profanity. Where is she? Where are y'all? I'm
- 54:53Speaker 4: coming to get her right now. And Hadley had already
- 54:56Speaker 4: been through court cases. And she said, hey, hang up.
- 55:01Speaker 4: Get this on documentation. Text her. So I start texting her.
- 55:04Speaker 4: And I'm like, hey, we agreed upon this. I was
- 55:07Speaker 4: going to bring her back tonight anyways. It's my month.
- 55:12Speaker 4: I'm supposed to have her solely anyways. And whenever she
- 55:18Speaker 4: starts freaking out in the text saying, I'm 12 to
- 55:20Speaker 4: 14 minutes away. Stay right there. We're already checked out.
- 55:24Speaker 4: We're loaded up in the car. And we drive back home.
- 55:28Speaker 4: And that's when I get there and my dad calls me.
- 55:31Speaker 4: He said, hey, you need to call Maria right now.
- 55:34Speaker 4: She's freaking out. And I was like, what do you mean?
- 55:37Speaker 4: He said, she's been calling me, running up and down
- 55:39Speaker 4: the aisles at Lowe's, saying my baby's been kidnapped, blah, blah, blah.
- 55:43Speaker 1: I just want to tell you, I've lived through two
- 55:47Speaker 1: people that would pull shit like this in my life.
- 55:51Speaker 1: That's why people sent me your story.
- 55:53Speaker 4: Well, how do you feel about it?
- 55:55Speaker 1: No, it's just, it's an insane person. It's a dramatic person.
- 55:59Speaker 1: There's no way to reason. There's no reasoning. No. They're
- 56:04Speaker 1: not going to change or be reasonable. And, yeah. So,
- 56:09Speaker 1: Lowe's is like, do we need to call the police?
- 56:12Speaker 1: Or what are they doing?
- 56:13Speaker 4: I don't know. I text her. Like I said, I'm
- 56:16Speaker 4: keeping this documented. Like, hey, I will bring her to
- 56:19Speaker 4: you like we agreed upon. And, you know, that's that.
- 56:24Speaker 4: She finally says, bring her to a gas station. And
- 56:27Speaker 4: on the way to the gas station, I actually call
- 56:28Speaker 4: a co-worker of hers. And I was concerned for the
- 56:32Speaker 4: baby's safety.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Because she was just so out of her mind.
- 56:35Speaker 4: Just out of her mind. And I called the co-worker.
- 56:37Speaker 4: I was like, hey, not to get you involved probably
- 56:41Speaker 4: too much, but I'm really concerned about her mental state
- 56:45Speaker 4: right now with being around the baby. Like, does she
- 56:47Speaker 4: have a good day at work? Did anything crazy happen?
- 56:50Speaker 4: She said no. It was an incident-free day. She left
- 56:53Speaker 4: work a little early. And it turns out that it
- 56:55Speaker 4: was her leaving work early to come to Liz's. But
- 56:57Speaker 4: we exchanged the baby. No confrontation.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Didn't say a word. Okay, that's good. Okay, so it
- 57:03Speaker 1: continues on, and then you decide what made you decide
- 57:08Speaker 1: to get the DNA test.
- 57:11Speaker 4: So after the Lewis incident, that was around the time
- 57:14Speaker 4: that she's threatening to take me back to court, and
- 57:17Speaker 4: she's withholding the baby, and it's like getting crazy at
- 57:20Speaker 4: this point. She already had this agreement and had this
- 57:23Speaker 4: telling me.
- 57:24Speaker 1: So you'd be going forward. you'd be ready to have
- 57:26Speaker 1: your visitation and then she'd be like, no.
- 57:28Speaker 4: Correct.
- 57:29Speaker 1: No, because you pissed me off this week or because
- 57:31Speaker 1: you're with Hadley.
- 57:32Speaker 4: Just whatever in her mind that wanted to withhold or
- 57:34Speaker 4: control me. Asking for extra money and me saying no.
- 57:39Speaker 4: But at this time, I actually stopped paying child support
- 57:41Speaker 4: because Hadley's like, she can't do that. You know you
- 57:45Speaker 4: have rights. And I was like, what's a right?
- 57:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 57:49Speaker 4: And we start going through this thing where she's like,
- 57:53Speaker 4: I'm taking all the custody.
- 57:55Speaker 1: She said that.
- 57:56Speaker 4: Yes, Maria did. So I'm like, all right, well, I'm
- 57:57Speaker 4: not paying you if you're not going to let me
- 57:59Speaker 4: see her.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:00Speaker 4: And I'm gearing up to go to court for the
- 58:02Speaker 4: first time. And Hadley mentions, she's like, you know, that
- 58:06Speaker 4: date doesn't really add up. She was at dinner one night.
- 58:08Speaker 4: I was like, oh, yeah, she was born on her
- 58:09Speaker 4: due date. And she's like, that's weird. So Hadley stays
- 58:15Speaker 4: up late that night. She's like going through my Facebook post.
- 58:17Speaker 4: She's like, I'm pretty sure you're out of town that weekend.
- 58:19Speaker 4: I was like, no, I wasn't. And then. you know,
- 58:24Speaker 4: the court thing ensues and she's like, I think we
- 58:28Speaker 4: should just do a paternity test just in case. And
- 58:30Speaker 4: at this point, you know, we're still on agreement.
- 58:32Speaker 1: And now how old is the little girl?
- 58:35Speaker 4: Two. Okay. Two and a half. And we ordered the
- 58:39Speaker 4: test from paternity lab. It comes in, we do the
- 58:43Speaker 4: test and Up until we got the results in the
- 58:46Speaker 4: first test.
- 58:46Speaker 1: So the way you do that is you get it,
- 58:48Speaker 1: and then you can, like.
- 58:49Speaker 5: Swab your daughter.
- 58:50Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's an at-home test.
- 58:51Speaker 1: So you, like, swab your daughter's mouth?
- 58:53Speaker 4: Yep, you do both sides of the mouth with two
- 58:55Speaker 4: different swabs on each side.
- 58:56Speaker 1: And then you mail it in.
- 58:57Speaker 4: Yep, you mail it in. You seal it, mail it in.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Got it.
- 59:00Speaker 4: It came in within two or three days. And up
- 59:03Speaker 4: until we were just laying on the couch, just like this,
- 59:07Speaker 4: watching TV, laughing, we just happened to be talking about it.
- 59:11Speaker 4: She's like, what's going to happen if the results come
- 59:16Speaker 4: back and you're not the father? I was like, babe,
- 59:19Speaker 4: trust me, I'm the dad, 100%. And then I lay
- 59:23Speaker 4: down on the couch and open my email, get a notification,
- 59:26Speaker 4: and I open it up, and I just feel like
- 59:31Speaker 4: the weight and the blood just fall out of me.
- 59:33Speaker 4: And I look at Hadley and I said, she's not
- 59:38Speaker 4: my daughter. I'm not the dad. Something along those lines.
- 59:41Speaker 4: And I dropped my phone and Hadley said, no, no, no,
- 59:44Speaker 4: you're not reading it right. Picks it up. She's scanning it.
- 59:48Speaker 4: That's when I immediately called my mom and told her
- 59:51Speaker 4: and then just broke down in tears.
- 59:54Speaker 1: What was your mom's reaction?
- 59:57Speaker 4: She didn't believe it. She thought that the Paternity tests
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: could have been, you know.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: A mistake.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: A mistake. They're not accurate. And I did the first test,
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: and I immediately thought the same thing. So over the
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: next few days, I order another test. And after doing
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: research on it, those tests are like 99% accurate all
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: the time.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: So the second test, my parents still don't believe it.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: The first test, I know in my heart because I
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: did the test. I know I didn't mess it up.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: The second one was mainly for my parents, and that's
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: whenever we were able to confirm both tests said 0% match.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: That is just so awful. It's... But now here's the thing.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Do you... At this time, did you think she must
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: have made a mistake, or do you think she always
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: knew from the start that you weren't the dad?
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Well, this comes in, you know, in bombs and waves,
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: so initially... It is, oh, my God, like, what do
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: I do now? I'm not even thinking about did she
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: know at this point. I'm thinking, you know, with my
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: parents and Hallie, like, we can keep this a secret.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: No one has to know. Like, we love her. This
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: is something we can just, you know, go to the
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: grave with. But actually, you know, thinking about it and
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: just how upset my parents were and I was.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: At any point with your, you know, nice Southern family,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I'm sure they're very polite. Was anybody like, oh, my
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: fucking God. And all the bullshit she's put us through. Like,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: what the fuck? Or are they thinking she must be
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: mistaken as well?
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: It eventually gets to that. But like the first month
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: or so, we don't tell anybody. It's just it's hard
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: for everybody. And no one's trusting everybody. And we can't
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: even tell Maria. So like, I'm still having to go
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: through this abuse. And that's like, I don't know. Cause
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: I'm having to figure out.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: She's still pulling the bullshit.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: You can't pick her up. No, no, no, no.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: Still doing the same thing. And it was just so unfair,
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: but that was eyeopening knowing what I found out about
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: the paternity and then kind of taking a step back
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: and like, Oh my God, like I've been going through this.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: And then that's when we start digging into, you know,
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: what did she know? And then that's how we end
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: up building, you know, starting this binder. Like this looks.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Just hold up the binder to show how big it is.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: It looks insane and it is.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: So you were doing this just for your own mind,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: but also legally and everything else, right? Wait, you got
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: to stay with the mind.
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: Yeah. It started with us just kind of doing like,
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: you know, stuff in our photos app and our notes app.
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: And then it wasn't until we got.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: It's like putting a case together.
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: Well, yeah. So we're just like, we start going through
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: all these things and. It kind of makes sense, but
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: it wasn't until we started putting it into a timeline
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: with all the photos and then text, and then you
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: can start making connections there. And it never ended up,
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: you know, this took six months or eight months to build,
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: so it's not like we just spent one weekend and
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: just went crazy and found everything. But the accumulation, which
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: every document in here is incredibly important, and that's the story,
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: because when dealing with a narcissist, they will twist the story.
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: just like they did the first time after they put
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: a gag order on me.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: And now talk about the gag order. What was the
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: gag order?
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: So it's technically not a gag order. We go to
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: court for the paternity thing. They put an ex parte
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: emergency restraining order silencing me on all social media, through
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: third parties.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: That's what she's asking her people to do.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Yes, and the judge grants it under the premise that
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: I'm the father, that you shouldn't be putting your.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: But you had the notice that you weren't the father.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: I had two paternity tests.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: The judge doesn't let us talk at all that day.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: He immediately grants a mutual restraining order for both parties.
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: And the last, he actually hit his gavel. And the
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: last second, my attorney was able to ask for a
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: court order DNA test. And to my surprise, her lawyer says,
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: you know, we don't oppose. So, okay, like, this is great.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: I've been silenced, but we got the court-ordered DNA test.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: They can't say anything after that, you would think. Even
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: after the court-ordered DNA test, she's still reaching out to.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: The results then come out.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: Yes, that's when I realized that I'm not just dealing
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: with someone who didn't know or thought they made a mistake.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: That's when she started reaching out to my family and
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: then Hadley's ex and trying to manipulate people and still
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: spin the narrative that I was the dad. she was
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: still trying to get my parents to go to events
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: for the child. After all these, all three tests have
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: came back 0%.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: And when she would try to get your parents to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: go to like a little daycare thing or whatever for
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: the child, was she, was that, would she be, would
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: she be nice to your mom, but like a, a
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: mean person to you? Was she like, but please, she's
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: asking for her Nana. Like what was she doing? Like
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: something like that.
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: Using the child as a pawn. So, you know, the,
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: the child misses you so much. You're their favorite person
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: in the world. Like, misses you so much.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Nightmare.
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: And, but at that time, were they ceasing contact or
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: were they still like, I'm sure they wanted to go.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: So it's like such a weird position to be in.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: So after the second test and I think there may
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: have been a few texts here and there between the
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: final court order text. But from whenever I initially found
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: out and I couldn't, you know, take Marie to court
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: or anything. We had to pretend we didn't know. And
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: my parents, they actually still watched her, I think one
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: more time by themselves after knowing what we knew. And
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: it caused a big strain on me and my parents' relationship.
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: I was like, I need y'all to stop this because
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: I've made my decision. It is unfair for this kid
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: to grow up and not know their biological family. Think about,
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: you know, the real grandparents here. And the real dad,
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: they're missing out on all this. I need y'all to
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: either pick me and go cold turkey, as bad as
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: that sounds, but we're robbing someone else trying to stay involved.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Yeah. And so then what happened? How did that get
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: resolved with your parents?
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: It was me having to yell at them. I'm not
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: a yeller. This might be the first time I've ever
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: even cussed at my mom.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: But I had to just, you know, finally put my
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: foot down and be like, look, this is either going
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: to be me or basically Maria and, you know, dealing
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: with her. And they finally just had to quit and
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: cease contact. And it was terrible for them. It was heartbreaking.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: It was like grieving losing a granddaughter or a child.
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: It's not something that's emotional and it's not something that
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: anybody should go through.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: So then how do you find out who the dad is?
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Because the dad is someone you kind of was slightly
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: aware of, right?
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: It wasn't until I posted the first video.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: So I gave Maria ample time to respond after she
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: got served.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Served?
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: The initial paperwork, the fraud and.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: So were the initial paperwork saying, I want the $ 80, 000
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: back that you paid in child support for two years?
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: I wanted to be off the birth certificate.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: No more child support. I wanted... The last name changed.
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: And basically, I was just going to wash my hands
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: with it. I was going to be like, I didn't
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: want any money.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Oh, you weren't asking for money. Okay.
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: It was in there, but that was mainly with my
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: initial lawyer then just to scare her. Okay.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: But you would have been fine with no money.
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: I knew I was never going to get any money back.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: She didn't have money.
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: So.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: So then how did she respond to that? You said
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: that's how you found out about the real dad. So
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: then you posted that video.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: So I post the video, give her time. She never
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: responds to me. And I'm with Hadley. We're headed to Austin.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: And like, well, how would you respond if you got
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: a letter like this? And she said, I would immediately
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: call my baby daddy and tell him to get his
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: ass down here right now and do a DNA test
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: in front of me. I know those are your kids.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: Silence. First time I've ever heard Maria say nothing.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: But. That's when she posted the video of her response.
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: She said that's when she initially started trying to twist
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: the narrative. That's why the details in this book are.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: And that's what was her story.
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: No, it is him.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I don't know why he's doing this.
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: It was, don't believe everything you see on the internet.
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: It's not true. She's doing crocodile tears, which is funny
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: because it was on Snapchat. You can see the filter
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: had beauty queen while she's trying to... cry and get
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: sympathy on snapchat um but yeah she initially said that
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: i we hadley tamper with the dna test.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Oh because she's a nurse like she'd know how to
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: do that or something.
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: Yeah she's blamed she even blamed hadley's kids for being
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: on the dna What do you mean?
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Half of the tower that... Oh, like he.
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: Like she swabbed her own kids.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Oh, that's... Oh, that you used another child.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: Got it. Hadley wasn't even... I mean, I did it
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: at the house. That's where we had it shipped. But
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: Hadley's kids weren't there. I did the test myself. No
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: one else... I sealed it and did everything.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: So then... So this was all before the court ordered one.
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: Yeah, this was before the court ordered. So she gets served.
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: I post the video. And that's when the messages start
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: rolling in.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: So.
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: it's a small community and people are like, Oh my God.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: We've known the whole time.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: You didn't know.
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: I'm like, no, I didn't know. Why the fuck am
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: I paying for a baby that I know that's not mine.
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: So that's when we're like, really like, Oh my God,
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: how do all these people know? Let's start looking into that.
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: And it was actually one of her ex best friends
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: that sent me the message back in October that she
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: asked another man to be a sperm donor also. So
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: if you're going into a situation where, Where there's a
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: woman asking, hey, I'm asking you and another guy to
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: be a sperm donor. You know, obviously you get a
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: paternity test because you don't know whose it is.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: But she never revealed that there was anybody.
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: She never revealed that.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: So is the guy aware of it now?
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: He's very aware after the video I posted today. I
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: put his name out there.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Today?
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: Yes. But he's also been aware the whole time. I've
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: also recently learned that as soon as I did that,
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: she started reaching out to him. And they've already been
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: doing playdates. So she's claiming she didn't know when the
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: whole time she immediately went to the other guy and
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: they're doing playdates.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: So now how long has it been since you found
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: out and stopped the contact?
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: It's been eight or nine months since I found out
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: and then six months, six or seven months, it's no contact.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: And so how much money, I'm sure you took the
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: time to add it up, how much money was it?
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: It was a little over $ 52, 000.
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: Wow.
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: In two and a half years.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: And are you suing her for that? What's the plan here?
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: We actually just left court last week. I testified for
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: six hours. And I brought my book. I tried to
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: explain my book. A lot of stuff wasn't allowed into evidence.
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: And the only way to get off of a birth certificate...
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: So there's a thing you sign at the hospital, and
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: it's called acknowledgement of paternity. It's an unbreakable contract. You
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: sign that. You have a year to do a DNA
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: test if you're suspicious of anything. After that, you are
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: the father for the rest of your life, no matter what.
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: Unless you can prove fraud.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: So we go to court, and I test five or
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: six hours. I provide all of my evidence. They try
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: lying on.
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: You know, photos and different things. They didn't have any
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: smoking guns, just that me and Maria had sex before.
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: I was like, yeah, obviously I admitted to that. And
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: at the very end of it, I'm actually still waiting
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: to get the paperwork. Our judge said, obviously you've proven
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: enough to provide, you know, say you shouldn't be on
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: the birth certificate. So major win for me. I'm off
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: the birth certificate. I don't have anything to do with
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: child support anymore. And then here's where I think the
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: story goes on a bigger scale because now with the $ 52, 000
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: that I never initially thought I was going to get back,
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: that the judge said I get zero of it back
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: because her lawyer provided a definition of the word fraud.
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: And in the Mississippi law, fraud is defined by nine points.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: And you have to hit all nine points of the
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: law in the fraud definition and That kind of court,
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: I think, civil court or chancery. And almost no one
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: wins ever because you can't hit all nine points. And
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: the one that they argued was, I didn't know I
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: was being frauded the entire time. You have to know
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: from the beginning that you're being frauded. How's that fraud?
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. So, in my eyes, I won
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: major in court. I got exactly what I wanted. I
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: was never getting any money back. If I already got
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: a dollar back, I would have been like, this is great.
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: So now... This is where I actually got a text
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: today and I'm meeting with some lawmakers in Mississippi next week.
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: And we're going to look over my case and there's
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: no paternity law at all for fraud in the state.
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: And I think a lot of people from the reactions online,
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: the comments that a lot of people that go through
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: the same thing. And after I think I can get
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: my law changed, that we're going to start looking at
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: a national scale. and start trying to revise and make
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: it fair for men's rights to be heard. And I
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: honestly think that everyone having a baby, married or unmarried
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: or whatever, there should always be a paternity test done
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: because you don't want to wait 25 years down the line,
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: do your Ancestry.com thing, and find out you've been living
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: the lie the entire time. Yeah.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: I mean, why not?
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: And I know people.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Personally in my life. They do all the tests on
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: the baby right when it's born anyway. Why not just
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: make that one of them too?
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: I did the at-home test. It was like $ 45 or $ 50.
- 1:14:42Speaker 4: You're telling me we can't get some government mandate to
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: put in a $ 50 test for a baby? Babies are
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: expensive to be born anyways. I didn't know that. But
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: it costs a lot of money to have a baby,
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: and what's an extra $ 50? And I personally think that
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: anyone who wants to argue that it shouldn't be done
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: If I was the husband or boyfriend, I would be
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: really suspicious. Why not? What's there to hide? Right.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Wow. So now you guys don't live near each other now,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: or you do?
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: Hadley and I bought a house two weeks before we
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: found out. It is incredibly close to where Maria lives.
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: And I mean, I could throw a rock out of
- 1:15:29Speaker 4: the end of the road and hit it where she lives.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: We go to the same gas station in the morning times.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: Do you see the child?
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: I have not. That is so hard. I was on
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: another show recently and someone asked if I wanted to.
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: And I don't think it would be a good idea
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: for me or my parents or anyone that was involved
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: to reopen old wounds.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: I agree.
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: Especially at such a young age like that where she
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: will probably end up forgetting us. And this is her
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: important time to bond with her real family.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: I totally agree. She is young enough she won't remember. And,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: you know, and it's important. Yeah. That, that her mom
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: is her most important person, you know, nobody's taken her
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: from her mom.
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: Correct.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: And then if it's this guy or if she goes
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: on to get married or whatever, or stay single, um,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: you know, you didn't, you know, obviously you did nothing
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: wrong and just also that it was just so unpleasant.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Like it'd be one thing if, you know, this was
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: a girl, you know, it's heartbreaking too if you're with
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: a girlfriend who said you were the baby and the
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: whole time knew it was the guy that she met
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: the night before. But then to also have just been
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: like such a bitch and like so awful about every
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: visitation and, you know, you better pay or you're not
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: going to see her or I'm going to tell everybody
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: you're a shitty dad. And like, to think that you
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: just like went through that for two and a half years.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Are you just like, What the hell was that?
- 1:17:05Speaker 4: Looking back now, when you're living it, I guess a
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: lot of people have abused this, exactly what this was.
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: You don't realize it's happening to you, but when you
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: look back, I'm trying to do these videos and read
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: these texts, I'm like, oh my God, how did I
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: not see this? And if she would have just, now
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: that I've proven that she knew the entire time, she
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: had a sweet setup. She was getting a bunch of money.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: She was getting free childcare. She would have just kept
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: her mouth shut and.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: And been pleasant.
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: And been nice.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: I always thought that it was my kid. She could
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: have rode off in the sunset. But no. Thank God.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: But because she's crazy and was jealous, you got to
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: be grateful. And also, I don't know that you would have...
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: I think you have to be grateful for all these
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: things because... I don't know that you would have been
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: the same guy to be where you were for Hadley
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: to fall in love with you. I think because you
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: were the dad, because you were going through this hell,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: because you chose to be so vulnerable, like if you
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: guys met at the gym and you were Brett prior
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: to this nightmare, you might have been all like, da-da-da-da,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: let me try to date her. And she would have
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: been like, I don't even want to deal with this dude. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Have you thought of that?
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: I have, and it's so unfair.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: So that's the gift.
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: I don't know if I have it with me right now,
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: but I prepared an impact statement I was going to
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: open with in court. And what people don't understand is
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: me and Hallie met on the premise we were both
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: single parents. And I had a two-and-a-half-year-old. She had a
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: six-month younger child. than that and we didn't want to
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: restart we were moving on we were gonna be a
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: blended family and now I don't get to have my
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: own biological children now because I have only had two
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: girlfriends in my life and one in high school and
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: then one you know ten years later And it's not
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: often you fall in love and find someone perfect for you.
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: So Maria robbing all that for me and then me
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: and Hadley basing our relationship off that, I don't want
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: to restart again. You know, she has kids and I
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: love them now. It's just.
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: It would be so unfair for me to backtrack on
- 1:19:28Speaker 4: Hadley and be like, hey, I want to restart. When
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: she's already made a decision, she doesn't want to restart.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: She's done having children.
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: She's done having children. I don't want to restart either. So...
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: I was robbed of ever having my own biological child
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: just because she wanted to take advantage of me.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Well, I think, you know, yeah, I mean, listen, this
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: is really great that you are using, that you went
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: about it this way and that you are hopefully making
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: something positive at it for, for the future of the world. And,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: and then, you know, in the process you really saw how, Hadley,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: your girlfriend, you know, put up with this shit because
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: I've been in the position to put up with it
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: and it is so hard. And, you know, for most
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: stepmothers out there or girlfriends of a guy that's going
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: through something like this, it's a very hard position to
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: be in. You're always seen as in the wrong because
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: you're the girlfriend and you're not the biological mom and
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: you're trying to like make it peaceful. And, um, but
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: you also, you know, get to see how great, you know,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: how great the woman is that you did choose.
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: So I agree.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: I mean, so you haven't really run into her then?
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: No, thank God.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: You know, it's, you don't, I mean, there's people in
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: my life too that live close and you don't really
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: see them that much when you're not planning. I mean,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: I don't know what it's like to live in as
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: small a town as you, but like, You know, you
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: probably won't hopefully see her that much.
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I doubt it.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: And if you do, maybe it'll be like in a
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: couple years, slow down. But I don't know. Is she
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: really angry that you've made this public? Yes.
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:17Speaker 4: I mean, I would be too. If I did what
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: her and her friends have done, I would be absolutely
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: livin' that people are exposing me. I don't know how
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: they asked me the other day, what's the worst thing
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: you've ever done? I was like, know I said whatever
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: it was and she's like how would you feel if
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: the whole world knew that and I was like I'd
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: be embarrassed like why would I ever do that and
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: me doing what I'm doing to them like I can
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: relate to them now if I think about it like
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: that but people like that need to be exposed because
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: I can't tell you the countless DMs that I've got
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: of people that I'm helping here in this story and
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: giving them the courage to speak up or question things
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: so you know it's something that they absolutely deserve. She
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: actually did an interview with daily mail last week and
- 1:22:08Speaker 4: under the gag order, she's not supposed to be talking,
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: did an interview and said that karma is what's going
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: to be coming for us. And I think it's absolutely
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: hilarious that she's getting exactly what she's been wishing upon
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: me falsely. Yeah.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: I mean, it's really, it really is an insane thing.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: But I remember watching one of your other videos. So
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: some of these friends that I guess were, they were
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: putting out content too about this story. They were, her
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: friends were content creators or what was your beef about that?
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: Because I was like trying to follow all that.
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: She had, she hid under the cover of the judge
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: said we can't talk.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: Which actually she started using her cousin and friends to
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: attack us and spread lies.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: Got it.
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: So we just sat there and documented everything. And whenever
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: I was ready to speak and had everything ready, the truth,
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: that's when I started debunking all their lies and calling
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: them out for it. And just recently, even after posting
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: all this and getting through most of the series that
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: I'm doing, her friends are still attacking us and making
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: death threats online and doxing our address and changing their
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: business address to our home address. Just being... incredibly, you know,
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: they're harassing us, and it's been so unfair that we
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: didn't do anything wrong. They're trying to fight us at
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: gas stations. So.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: So now that person you did run into at a
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: gas station.
- 1:23:39Speaker 4: Yeah, the crazy friend, but actually yesterday.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Is that the one that said that she was Miss Vietnam?
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: No, that's her cousin. She, uh, that's the one who, uh,
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: who's on her little TV show, Reality Star Thing.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: Saying she's classy. But, The people who tried to attack
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: us and do the death threats, they all today were
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: just issued arrest warrants and they will be dealing with
- 1:24:01Speaker 4: all that criminally now for harassing us. Oh, wow.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: So we dealt with it forever and then it just
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: kept escalating. And for people who aren't even involved at all,
- 1:24:13Speaker 4: for us, Hadley and I feeling unsafe at our own
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: home and We went and bought a big new dog.
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: We put up security cameras and it's just getting worse.
- 1:24:21Speaker 4: We were tired of dealing with it and we felt scared.
- 1:24:25Speaker 4: So we finally, you know, turned it over to people
- 1:24:28Speaker 4: who can actually handle stuff like that.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: Well, where can everybody follow you to see what's going
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: on or if they need to reach out and get
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: some advice or what to do in their situation?
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: So on Instagram, I'm at Brett Fairley and then TikTok,
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: I'm at Brett Fairley Zero.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Well, I really appreciate you coming and telling your story.
- 1:24:48Speaker 4: And it's just really horrible.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: It was, you know, I love that you were so
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: vulnerable and you admitted it was dumb to think that
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: there could ever be a no strings attached. No man
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: should ever think that that is the case.
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: Let this be a lesson to everyone out there.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's no. And the same thing goes for, you know,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: women that, you know, that where a guy, maybe you're
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: with a guy and he's like, you could have a kid,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: but I'm not going to help you with the child
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: at all or whatever. Also women, that's not who you
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: want either. Like go forward with people that when you
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: both want to have a kid, know that that's going
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: to be the case. Don't believe that somebody is going
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: to be active or not active or whatever, because it
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: changes once the child is there and people change. And,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: but I do think, um, I'm all for a paternity test.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: I mean, I, I mean, I have sons and I wouldn't,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: that would be absolutely my worst nightmare because you know,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: every mom dreams of being a grandmother and to have
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: that just like ripped away from you and being torn,
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: knowing that you do have to go with your son,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: but at the same time, oh wow. Well, I hope
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: your parents are doing better and all of that.
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: Yeah, they are. But we're navigating and getting through it.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, thank you so much for coming on.
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: Thank you for having me on.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 1:26:15Speaker 4: Have fun.
