- 0:07Speaker 5: And this is the big boss dog, Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. Bang, boom,
- 0:11Speaker 5: what you gonna do?
- 0:11Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich. We're not talking about Ren 1010.
- 0:14Speaker 4: We're not talking about Lassie.
- 0:16Speaker 6: It's the one and.
- 0:16Speaker 4: Only dog, y'all.
- 0:17Speaker 5: The classy, sassy, big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. In your
- 0:20Speaker 5: face to me and in the place to be. And
- 0:22Speaker 5: you're listening to John Jay and Rich. Wake your ass up.
- 0:25Speaker 5: Today is National What Day, Rich?
- 0:27Speaker 4: It's National Mushroom Day.
- 0:29Speaker 7: Ooh.
- 0:30Speaker 4: It's National Cheese Curd Day. Have you had those at Culver's?
- 0:34Speaker 8: Yeah, those are the best. Have you seen the curd
- 0:36Speaker 8: burger at Culver's?
- 0:37Speaker 4: No, what is that?
- 0:38Speaker 8: It's literally a burger with a giant cheese curd patty
- 0:42Speaker 8: on top of it. Sounds delicious to me.
- 0:47Speaker 9: More curd for you.
- 0:48Speaker 4: And National Mushroom Day, too.
- 0:50Speaker 8: What kind?
- 0:51Speaker 4: I'm sorry, Chicken Cacciatore Day.
- 0:53Speaker 5: It's also National Curd Day.
- 0:55Speaker 4: And Cheese Curd Day.
- 0:56Speaker 9: And Chicken Cacciatore Day.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Oh, man.
- 0:58Speaker 5: The other day we were talking about, and Kyle, you
- 1:00Speaker 5: brought this up, small world.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Is it a small world when this happens?
- 1:04Speaker 9: It is a small world.
- 1:05Speaker 5: And Kathleen, Kathleen called in about a small world in
- 1:10Speaker 5: her world that I thought was important for us to
- 1:12Speaker 5: listen to. Good morning, Kathleen.
- 1:14Speaker 10: Good morning.
- 1:15Speaker 5: What is your small world story?
- 1:17Speaker 10: Okay, so hopefully you guys can follow this, and I
- 1:21Speaker 10: don't make it all messy. So about a year ago,
- 1:25Speaker 10: I separated and got divorced, and so... This past year,
- 1:29Speaker 10: I've been kind of like.
- 1:30Speaker 11: Sowing my wild oats, going on dates, dating apps.
- 1:33Speaker 3: All of it.
- 1:34Speaker 10: Been doing it.
- 1:34Speaker 3: So I met this guy who was.
- 1:36Speaker 10: Like an hour and a half away from where I live,
- 1:39Speaker 10: which was perfect because it was on the way up
- 1:41Speaker 10: to my parents' house, which was like.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Three hours away.
- 1:44Speaker 10: So I would stop and see this guy.
- 1:46Speaker 3: We started calling him Quick Stop, you know, on the
- 1:49Speaker 3: way up there.
- 1:50Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 10: Quick stop on the way home it was perfect and
- 1:54Speaker 10: he was far enough away where like he wasn't involved
- 1:56Speaker 10: in my life I didn't have to worry about him
- 1:58Speaker 10: showing up or getting clingy or any of that stuff
- 2:01Speaker 10: it was perfect so but this guy was also kind
- 2:04Speaker 10: of terrible he was like a walking red flag he
- 2:06Speaker 10: didn't have a job he kept getting like girls calling
- 2:10Speaker 10: cops on him and he was just he was a
- 2:12Speaker 10: walking red flag so I was happy he was far
- 2:14Speaker 10: away but um and then whenever I wanted to come
- 2:18Speaker 10: see him So he had been like always asking me
- 2:22Speaker 10: to have a threesome with him. And I wasn't too
- 2:25Speaker 10: into it, but I didn't say no. I'm like, wait,
- 2:27Speaker 10: if you can come up with something and I like.
- 2:29Speaker 3: The girl, that's awesome. Let's do it.
- 2:31Speaker 10: And so he's like, okay, I know a girl who
- 2:33Speaker 10: lives down next to you who, um, like is into girls.
- 2:36Speaker 10: I'm like, okay, well set it up. So he, he
- 2:39Speaker 10: messaged us on Instagram. I'm like, yeah, she's cute. And like,
- 2:42Speaker 10: I could be into her and all that. And so
- 2:44Speaker 10: then he creates a, um, a Facebook chat group with us.
- 2:48Speaker 10: So I'm able to get onto her Facebook. And when
- 2:51Speaker 10: I get onto her Facebook, I see that we have
- 2:53Speaker 10: a friend in common and I'm like, okay, that's cool.
- 2:55Speaker 10: We live in the same town. So that's probably going
- 2:57Speaker 10: to happen when I clicked on it. She's actually friends
- 3:00Speaker 10: with my ex's nephew.
- 3:02Speaker 3: And I'm like, whoa, that's weird.
- 3:04Speaker 10: Cause he's from Bellingham. He's not even from the circus. Um,
- 3:07Speaker 10: and so I asked her, I'm like, what, how are
- 3:09Speaker 10: you related to him? And she says, my daughter married
- 3:14Speaker 10: my ex's nephew. So I'm sitting here doing the math.
- 3:18Speaker 10: That would make her my sister-in-law.
- 3:22Speaker 12: Whoa.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Wait, what?
- 3:24Speaker 5: Okay.
- 3:25Speaker 9: Her daughter married your ex's cousin.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Either way, it's your sister-in-law.
- 3:29Speaker 13: So now you figured out that you're looking at a
- 3:33Speaker 13: threesome with your sister-in-law.
- 3:36Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 10: It almost happened.
- 3:37Speaker 4: It almost happened.
- 3:38Speaker 10: If I had it, God.
- 3:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:40Speaker 10: So I was like, no. Could you imagine her going
- 3:44Speaker 10: back up and telling her... her son-in-law about having a
- 3:48Speaker 10: threesome with his uncle's ex-wife.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Why would she say something like that? Guess who I
- 3:55Speaker 4: had a threesome with?
- 3:56Speaker 5: Her son-in-law?
- 3:56Speaker 4: Why would she have that conversation?
- 3:59Speaker 15: I feel like she would.
- 4:01Speaker 5: With anybody in your family. You would never have that conversation.
- 4:05Speaker 9: Maybe like your sister. You tell your sister.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Maybe not.
- 4:09Speaker 10: I don't think I was willing to take that chance.
- 4:11Speaker 3: But then I also thought, too.
- 4:14Speaker 10: Maybe I should have let it happen and it could
- 4:16Speaker 10: get back to the ex.
- 4:17Speaker 3: That would be kind of amazing, too.
- 4:18Speaker 4: You know, if you think about it, the only time
- 4:20Speaker 4: you introduce a three-way, you're introducing the idea of a
- 4:23Speaker 4: small world. A small world. It's going to come back around.
- 4:26Speaker 9: What are the chances.
- 4:27Speaker 5: That this girl?
- 4:28Speaker 10: Not to involve my ex.
- 4:30Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 4:31Speaker 10: Anybody else.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Is Quick Stop still in your life?
- 4:34Speaker 10: Yeah, I just left his house this morning.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Wow.
- 4:38Speaker 5: Did you ever have the threesome with anybody else?
- 4:43Speaker 10: No, he's still trying. He sends me pictures of girls.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Did he try to get a job? Does he have
- 4:49Speaker 4: a job yet?
- 4:50Speaker 10: I think he's doing delivery for Uber.
- 4:55Speaker 13: When you go to see Quick Stop, how long is
- 4:57Speaker 13: a Quick Stop? Did you spend the night there or
- 4:59Speaker 13: you just got there this morning and left this morning?
- 5:01Speaker 10: No, I stay over because, like, I'll leave my parents'
- 5:04Speaker 10: house and then drive halfway. I mean, I guess it's
- 5:06Speaker 10: maybe a little bit longer.
- 5:07Speaker 15: Maybe we should call.
- 5:08Speaker 10: Him Easy Stop instead of Quick Stop.
- 5:10Speaker 5: No, I think now you should call him A.M.P.M.
- 5:13Speaker 9: I like Quick Trip.
- 5:16Speaker 14: Quick Snack.
- 5:18Speaker 10: We'll get a quick snack.
- 5:20Speaker 5: Wow, Kathleen, you're living life. You're having a good time
- 5:22Speaker 5: since the divorce. It is.
- 5:24Speaker 10: It's been a fun year.
- 5:25Speaker 3: So I was an 18 year relationship.
- 5:27Speaker 10: So I got a lot of making up to do.
- 5:29Speaker 5: So are you happy that you're divorced and single now?
- 5:32Speaker 11: Yes, absolutely.
- 5:33Speaker 10: And I don't need any more men at the moment
- 5:37Speaker 10: coming in and making decisions. So I love this single life.
- 5:39Speaker 14: It's great.
- 5:40Speaker 3: I get to be in.
- 5:41Speaker 10: Charge of everything.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Well, that is a great, fun story. What a great story.
- 5:45Speaker 5: I almost had a threesome with a relative. That's wild.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Have a great day. Thanks for calling in.
- 5:54Speaker 4: If anybody else wants to call in with you, I
- 5:56Speaker 4: almost had a three-way with my relative. We're opening up
- 5:59Speaker 4: our phones.
- 5:59Speaker 5: You know what? I actually want to peel back the layers.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Kyle said that you would tell your sister. Yeah, I didn't.
- 6:04Speaker 5: I don't think I have anybody close to my family
- 6:06Speaker 5: that I would share that with. I definitely. Well, I
- 6:08Speaker 5: don't have I don't have a brother. So I don't
- 6:10Speaker 5: know if I had a brother.
- 6:11Speaker 16: I feel like you guys tell each other everything.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Now, we don't get into that. As far as I know,
- 6:16Speaker 5: outside of her having two kids, I would think she
- 6:18Speaker 5: never had sex.
- 6:20Speaker 9: Well, you know, that's not true.
- 6:21Speaker 5: So you guys have shared with your siblings. Would you
- 6:25Speaker 5: tell your brother? Kyle?
- 6:27Speaker 9: He would not want to hear that.
- 6:28Speaker 5: That's what I mean. He would not want to hear that.
- 6:30Speaker 8: I'm like, perks of having a gay brother because he
- 6:32Speaker 8: wants to know all of that stuff.
- 6:33Speaker 16: But like, I have talked about things like that with
- 6:36Speaker 16: my brother, but I've never, I've never done a threesome.
- 6:37Speaker 9: So like, I haven't shared that with him, but like.
- 6:39Speaker 9: Have you ever had a threesome? Things of that nature.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Just kidding.
- 6:44Speaker 9: In that bedroom nature. Right.
- 6:46Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 6:48Speaker 8: It's different when it's like your brother and your sister,
- 6:50Speaker 8: you know, your little baby sis.
- 6:51Speaker 5: No, that's the thing. I think it matters where you
- 6:53Speaker 5: are in the chain of birth. Like I'm the older brother.
- 6:56Speaker 13: I don't want to know anything like that about my sister,
- 6:58Speaker 13: you know, and I don't know if I was the
- 7:00Speaker 13: younger brother, if I would or wouldn't be different, you know,
- 7:02Speaker 13: because then they're the ones that are guiding you in life.
- 7:05Speaker 5: But anyway, fascinating. But anyway, great story, huh?
- 7:09Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Hey, what's the vibe today for horoscopes?
- 7:17Speaker 8: I am telling you what the universe has in store
- 7:19Speaker 8: for your zodiac sign today. Somebody's getting a text from
- 7:21Speaker 8: a person that should have been blocked and another needs
- 7:24Speaker 8: to put their credit card down. So if it's your
- 7:26Speaker 8: birthday today and you are a Libra, you share a
- 7:28Speaker 8: birthday with Trinity from Love Island, Bailey Madison, Keisha Cole, Genuine,
- 7:33Speaker 8: and Lauren Betts.
- 7:34Speaker 9: Kyle, you're a Libra. Your birthday is literally like right
- 7:37Speaker 9: around the corner.
- 7:37Speaker 8: So I'm going to start with you, Kyle. It's your
- 7:41Speaker 8: birthday season and suddenly everybody kind of wants a piece
- 7:44Speaker 8: of your time. So you need to just stop saying
- 7:46Speaker 8: yes to plans just because you feel bad. It's your mouth,
- 7:49Speaker 8: not a community service project. Excuse me.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 7:52Speaker 9: So you're good. The answer is no.
- 7:54Speaker 8: Yep. It's a sentence.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Oh, period.
- 7:57Speaker 9: Got it.
- 7:58Speaker 5: Blanca, good morning. What's your sign?
- 8:01Speaker 8: Okay, Blanca, you can expect one minor inconvenience. Kind of
- 8:06Speaker 8: like you're on the tip of the iceberg right now.
- 8:11Speaker 8: So before you convince yourself that a spontaneous trip is
- 8:13Speaker 8: going to fix your life, make sure that you're checking
- 8:15Speaker 8: your PTO, checking your bank account, because both are looking
- 8:18Speaker 8: a little suspect right now.
- 8:20Speaker 15: Well, I don't have any more PTO, but I do
- 8:23Speaker 15: have to check my bank account.
- 8:25Speaker 8: Yeah, stay on top of it, Blanca, so you're not
- 8:27Speaker 8: spending all the money.
- 8:29Speaker 5: I know.
- 8:31Speaker 12: Okay, thank you so much. Thanks, Blanca.
- 8:33Speaker 5: Hi, Angie. What's your sign?
- 8:36Speaker 15: I'm a Leo.
- 8:36Speaker 8: Oh, me too, Angie. Okay, us Leos, we are about
- 8:40Speaker 8: to get some attention that we were not expecting. And honestly,
- 8:43Speaker 8: I feel like it's about time. We just need to
- 8:45Speaker 8: remember that not every compliment is an invitation. So sometimes
- 8:48Speaker 8: people can admire the merchandise without getting access to the
- 8:51Speaker 8: store if you're picking up what I'm putting down. Maybe not.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Maybe she's not picking up what you're putting down.
- 8:59Speaker 5: That sounds great. Did you hear that, Angie?
- 9:03Speaker 2: I'm here.
- 9:04Speaker 8: Okay.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Okay, Angie. Have a great day.
- 9:07Speaker 10: Thank you. You too.
- 9:09Speaker 12: Bye.
- 9:09Speaker 5: How about Pisces? Pisces rich.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Yeah, what's the topic again?
- 9:14Speaker 5: I'm confused.
- 9:14Speaker 8: Well, it's just kind of like what your day, what
- 9:16Speaker 8: you can expect for the vibes for today. There's not
- 9:19Speaker 8: necessarily a specific topic.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Bring it to me.
- 9:21Speaker 9: I'm just telling you how it is.
- 9:22Speaker 8: So you are going to romanticize another situation that has
- 9:25Speaker 8: no business being romanticized. So just because someone remembered your
- 9:29Speaker 8: coffee order, Rich, doesn't mean that they're your soulmate. People
- 9:32Speaker 8: are just good at remembering beverages sometimes.
- 9:34Speaker 4: But they could be my best friend.
- 9:35Speaker 8: But they're not. That's what I'm saying.
- 9:37Speaker 5: How about you wrap up with Virgo's?
- 9:40Speaker 8: John Jay for Virgos, you have been mentally rehearsing an
- 9:43Speaker 8: argument that hasn't happened yet.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Every day.
- 9:45Speaker 9: I know you do this a lot.
- 9:46Speaker 5: I do that every day.
- 9:47Speaker 8: Yeah, but you're three imaginary conversations deep and the other
- 9:50Speaker 8: person doesn't know that you're mad. So today I need
- 9:52Speaker 8: you to try living in reality instead of the courtroom
- 9:54Speaker 8: inside your head.
- 9:57Speaker 5: I do that every day.
- 9:58Speaker 4: It's the first thing I've ever diagnosed, John. Jay with
- 10:00Speaker 4: is what I like to call perceived confrontation.
- 10:02Speaker 8: Yeah, I love it.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Well, thank you, Rich, Dr. Barrow. If you missed your sign,
- 10:07Speaker 5: I'll post it on our website, jontayandrich.com.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Nostalgia culture is super huge right now because you know what?
- 10:25Speaker 4: Let's face it, times are tough.
- 10:27Speaker 8: Everyone likes to reminisce and just feel good again, you know?
- 10:30Speaker 4: Yeah, and if you're like me and my brother, we
- 10:32Speaker 4: didn't live in a very, very good neighborhood, but we
- 10:34Speaker 4: don't remember any of the bad parts about the neighborhood.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Remember how simple things were. And the question that's been
- 10:41Speaker 4: floating through Reddit is, what's one childhood memory that you
- 10:45Speaker 4: would like to go back and relive?
- 10:47Speaker 9: For the first time.
- 10:48Speaker 4: For the first time.
- 10:49Speaker 9: Oh, that's so good.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Like, I mean, I picked, I remember that my mom
- 10:53Speaker 4: on Sunday nights, we didn't know we were poor based
- 10:55Speaker 4: on Sunday night dinner because we ate on Sunday night.
- 10:57Speaker 4: And my mom made really good fried chicken in the
- 11:01Speaker 4: pressure cooker. I don't even know if they have pressure
- 11:02Speaker 4: cookers anymore. They do.
- 11:03Speaker 12: They do?
- 11:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:05Speaker 9: They're called Instant Pops.
- 11:06Speaker 5: But I remember that was so.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Delicious and you put like some honey on it and
- 11:12Speaker 4: you got no worries on a Sunday night except for
- 11:14Speaker 4: school on Monday morning. I was wondering if you guys
- 11:16Speaker 4: had one of those memories you would like to throw
- 11:18Speaker 4: it back to for your nostalgia that, you know.
- 11:20Speaker 5: A childhood memory that you're going to live through for
- 11:22Speaker 5: the first time again.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Kyle, you?
- 11:24Speaker 9: I would say Christmas morning.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Oh, that's a good one.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Which one?
- 11:27Speaker 5: I would say my dad coming home with lipstick on
- 11:30Speaker 5: his collar and my mom getting mad and screaming and
- 11:31Speaker 5: yelling and they got in a huge fight. My dad
- 11:34Speaker 5: threw the shirt into the wicker hamper and he cried
- 11:38Speaker 5: and cried and I got to stay up all night
- 11:39Speaker 5: and watch TV.
- 11:40Speaker 4: You would love to.
- 11:40Speaker 5: I was like, this rocks.
- 11:42Speaker 4: I don't have to go to bed? What did you watch?
- 11:44Speaker 5: I watched, it was a Gene Kelly Fred Astaire cartoon
- 11:47Speaker 5: because we only had a black and white TV. That
- 11:48Speaker 5: was ridiculous. And they danced with Jerry from Tom and Jerry.
- 11:52Speaker 5: I remember like it was yesterday.
- 11:53Speaker 16: Oh.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Yeah, so that's my memory. What about you, Peyton?
- 11:55Speaker 4: It says a lot about you.
- 11:56Speaker 8: For me, it would be night games in my neighborhood
- 11:59Speaker 8: when all of our friends would come and knock on
- 12:01Speaker 8: the door and be like, can Peyton come and play?
- 12:03Speaker 8: And we'd all hop on our bikes and we'd play
- 12:05Speaker 8: capture the flag.
- 12:05Speaker 9: And it was so fun.
- 12:06Speaker 5: I love that. Hey, Chris, how about you? What's a
- 12:09Speaker 5: childhood memory you can go back to, you want to
- 12:10Speaker 5: go back to one time when it first happened?
- 12:13Speaker 17: So when I was growing up, I'm not sure exactly
- 12:18Speaker 17: how old I was, but my mom and dad had
- 12:23Speaker 17: grown up in Boston. Most of my relatives lived there,
- 12:27Speaker 17: and my mom and dad had moved to Colorado because
- 12:32Speaker 17: my dad needed to live in the drier Colorado climate
- 12:35Speaker 17: than the humidity in Massachusetts. So he went to court
- 12:39Speaker 17: reporting school. I came from a family with seven kids.
- 12:45Speaker 17: In order to travel, to go back and see our relatives,
- 12:47Speaker 17: my dad bought a school bus, probably spent $ 300 on it.
- 12:52Speaker 17: He had one of his friends help him renovate it,
- 12:55Speaker 17: put cots in it, a little kitchen, the whole nine yards.
- 12:59Speaker 17: Sounds awesome. And we took that back to Boston. Um,
- 13:04Speaker 17: I know, I'm not sure how many times until we
- 13:07Speaker 17: absolutely couldn't drive it there anymore.
- 13:09Speaker 5: That's a great memory.
- 13:11Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Sounds great.
- 13:12Speaker 17: Great memory.
- 13:14Speaker 5: Well, thank you, Chris.
- 13:15Speaker 12: Thank you.
- 13:16Speaker 17: Imagine seven kids on a school bus.
- 13:19Speaker 5: I can be there. I've been on a school bus
- 13:20Speaker 5: with 30 kids. I can't imagine.
- 13:25Speaker 8: That's cool.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Thanks Chris. Gillian. What's a childhood memory?
- 13:30Speaker 12: Mine's getting dropped off at the mall with my friends
- 13:32Speaker 12: when we.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Were, like, way too young to be there alone.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 18: Like, my mom would, like, hand me 20 bucks and, like,
- 13:39Speaker 18: just leave and be like, I'll see you in six hours.
- 13:43Speaker 12: 20 bucks?
- 13:43Speaker 4: Like, right?
- 13:44Speaker 3: We were, like, 12.
- 13:46Speaker 19: You were loaded.
- 13:47Speaker 20: You know, we were, like, walking around Victoria's Secret and, like,
- 13:50Speaker 20: smelling lotion and stuff.
- 13:52Speaker 8: Yes.
- 13:53Speaker 5: That reminds me of another childhood memory of mine.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Oh, yes.
- 13:57Speaker 5: I remember because you brought this up. I remember my
- 13:59Speaker 5: my dad having to go pick up my sister and
- 14:01Speaker 5: her friends from the movies and he was drunk. And
- 14:05Speaker 5: he came home and my mom, and he was swerving
- 14:08Speaker 5: in the hallway. He couldn't stand straight. My mom started
- 14:10Speaker 5: screaming at him and yelling at him.
- 14:11Speaker 13: How dare you pick up our daughter and her friend
- 14:12Speaker 13: drunk driving?
- 14:13Speaker 5: They had a huge fight. And I got to stay
- 14:15Speaker 5: up late and watch TV all night long. Because they
- 14:18Speaker 5: had a huge fight.
- 14:19Speaker 9: That really reminded you of that.
- 14:20Speaker 5: I was like, I could stay up all night and
- 14:22Speaker 5: watch TV.
- 14:24Speaker 9: These are good memories for you.
- 14:27Speaker 5: Reagan, good morning. You got a childhood memory?
- 14:31Speaker 20: I truly want to experience having a crush on.
- 14:34Speaker 14: My best friend's older brother again.
- 14:36Speaker 20: Because why was that the literally most intoxicating relationship of
- 14:42Speaker 20: my life?
- 14:42Speaker 14: But he barely knew I existed, you know?
- 14:46Speaker 20: So I remember I would sleep over at her house and.
- 14:51Speaker 14: Just, you know, make my.
- 14:53Speaker 20: Way down to the kitchen 14 times because maybe her
- 14:59Speaker 20: 16-year-old brother would be in there. Like, I don't... He
- 15:07Speaker 20: asked me.
- 15:07Speaker 14: To just, like, hand him the remote, and I literally
- 15:11Speaker 14: wrote in my diary about it.
- 15:14Speaker 20: Like, delusionally, tonight.
- 15:17Speaker 14: Something happened between us. Like, bitch, you passed him a remote.
- 15:21Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 15:22Speaker 20: It was delusional, but thrilling, you know?
- 15:26Speaker 18: I love that for you.
- 15:29Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Oh, so good.
- 15:30Speaker 20: Yeah, that would be it. That would be it.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Little did you know, your romance peaked right there.
- 15:34Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 15:36Speaker 14: I think genuinely it was just a great time.
- 15:38Speaker 5: It's a good story. Thank you. Gary, what's your childhood
- 15:42Speaker 5: memory you'd like to relive one more time?
- 15:45Speaker 15: Going to a skating rink. Happiest place on earth.
- 15:48Speaker 3: My dad would drop us off.
- 15:50Speaker 22: And all day there, eat lots of junk food and
- 15:52Speaker 22: spend time with your friends.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Yes.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Listen to great music going around the rink.
- 15:56Speaker 8: Going to Skateland with your little glow-up binky in your mouth.
- 15:59Speaker 9: I loved that.
- 16:00Speaker 5: Yep. Your name's Gary?
- 16:04Speaker 18: That's great.
- 16:05Speaker 6: It is.
- 16:07Speaker 5: You don't really meet a girl named Gary. That's pretty cool.
- 16:09Speaker 5: What's the story behind that?
- 16:12Speaker 18: I was a twin, and my mom didn't know until
- 16:14Speaker 18: 10 hours before she had us, and so I threw
- 16:17Speaker 18: the short end.
- 16:17Speaker 12: Of the stick.
- 16:18Speaker 5: And is your brother's name Jessica?
- 16:22Speaker 18: No, it's a girl.
- 16:23Speaker 15: Her name is Kylie.
- 16:26Speaker 5: Kylie and Gary? That is so unique.
- 16:28Speaker 9: That's actually kind of messed up.
- 16:30Speaker 5: I'm sorry. That is the most unique.
- 16:31Speaker 9: I kind of feel like she could have changed her name.
- 16:33Speaker 5: She only had 10 hours. I only got 10 hours.
- 16:37Speaker 5: I can't think of another girl name. What's your middle name?
- 16:40Speaker 5: What's your middle name, Gary?
- 16:41Speaker 23: Oh, it's awful.
- 16:42Speaker 19: I can't tell you.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Come on.
- 16:44Speaker 2: What is it?
- 16:44Speaker 16: Come on.
- 16:45Speaker 18: It's Martha Jean.
- 16:48Speaker 5: Your name is Gary Martha Jean.
- 16:52Speaker 12: Jane.
- 16:53Speaker 19: My parents hated me.
- 16:55Speaker 16: There had to be some sort of special meaning behind
- 16:58Speaker 16: those names.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Yes, I'm named after my dad.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Are you married now?
- 17:03Speaker 2: I am.
- 17:05Speaker 5: And what's your husband's name?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Jared.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Jerry and Jerry.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Jerry and Jerry.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Wow.
- 17:11Speaker 5: That is unbelievable.
- 17:15Speaker 16: I love being a girl with a guy name because people.
- 17:18Speaker 10: Always freak out.
- 17:19Speaker 3: It's a lot funner when you're an adult.
- 17:21Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 17:22Speaker 9: For sure.
- 17:23Speaker 5: But here's the thing. There are a lot of women
- 17:25Speaker 5: or a handful.
- 17:26Speaker 13: For some reason for me, the name Kyle, I accept it.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Gary as a girl is very unique. It's different. Have
- 17:32Speaker 5: you ever met another Gary that was a girl?
- 17:34Speaker 3: I have not.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Okay. I was going to say. So what? Thanks for listening.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Thank you. Have a good day. You too.
- 17:43Speaker 5: It's John Jay and Rich. Get up. Get up.
- 17:45Speaker 4: From the car to the office.
- 17:47Speaker 20: Wake up with them every morning.
- 17:49Speaker 12: John Jay and Rich.
- 17:50Speaker 5: Hey, it's time for Stacks and Hacks. I have stacks
- 17:52Speaker 5: of information. Rich has life hacks. My information, I feel
- 17:56Speaker 5: this one is common. What do you think about this?
- 17:58Speaker 5: Researchers talk to mothers with young kids about sleeping. And
- 18:02Speaker 5: the report had some pretty wild stats. 62% of mothers
- 18:05Speaker 5: feel that they need permission from someone else to prioritize
- 18:08Speaker 5: sleep guilt-free. Does that ring bell with you? Ring bell?
- 18:12Speaker 9: Ask permission. I don't know. But I just feel like
- 18:14Speaker 9: as a mother, you don't get sleep as a priority.
- 18:17Speaker 13: 55% of moms would rather be given a sleep day
- 18:19Speaker 13: than a spa day.
- 18:20Speaker 9: Yes.
- 18:21Speaker 13: 83% of moms wake up feeling unrested regardless of hours slept.
- 18:25Speaker 9: Every day.
- 18:25Speaker 13: 94% of moms have fallen asleep somewhere unexpected since becoming
- 18:30Speaker 13: a mom.
- 18:31Speaker 14: You?
- 18:34Speaker 18: I mean, yes.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Yes.
- 18:35Speaker 9: In pickup line.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Who can blame you?
- 18:38Speaker 5: Listen to this. If you were pulled over and you'd
- 18:41Speaker 5: been drinking, the cops aren't going to be fooled if
- 18:43Speaker 5: you pop a peppermint or chew gum. They know, right?
- 18:46Speaker 14: They know.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:47Speaker 13: A 43-year-old woman in Virginia named Erin Hoops crashed her
- 18:51Speaker 13: Mini Cooper into a police car, and she kept going.
- 18:55Speaker 13: The cops turned on his lights, chased her down, pulled
- 18:57Speaker 13: her over, smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from
- 19:00Speaker 13: her car, and hauled her off to jail.
- 19:02Speaker 5: And now... A gross new detail has emerged from this story,
- 19:07Speaker 5: and it's making all kinds of news. When she got
- 19:09Speaker 5: to jail, Erin said she needed to use the bathroom.
- 19:12Speaker 5: So they allowed her to go to the bathroom as
- 19:13Speaker 5: long as the door was cracked open. They didn't want
- 19:15Speaker 5: her drinking from the sink before the breathalyzer test. So
- 19:18Speaker 5: get this. Erin allegedly used the restroom.
- 19:21Speaker 13: And while standing up, she placed her hands inside the toilet,
- 19:23Speaker 13: scooped up the mixture of water and.
- 19:25Speaker 5: Pee and consumed it.
- 19:26Speaker 8: Wow.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Ew.
- 19:28Speaker 5: To get rid of the alcohol. And guess what?
- 19:30Speaker 9: She diluted it.
- 19:31Speaker 4: It didn't work.
- 19:32Speaker 5: It didn't work.
- 19:32Speaker 9: Yeah, it didn't. That is so gross. Why would that work?
- 19:35Speaker 9: It's like your blood alcohol level.
- 19:38Speaker 5: Three times the legal limit of alcohol. She was charged
- 19:41Speaker 5: the DUI and a hit and run.
- 19:42Speaker 16: Also, like if you drink water after you drank a
- 19:44Speaker 16: bunch of alcohol, you still have the alcohol in your system.
- 19:46Speaker 9: So I wish I could go back 10 seconds ago yucky.
- 19:53Speaker 13: Entertainment weekly ranked the best movie duos of all time
- 19:58Speaker 13: best movie duos Batman and Robin.
- 20:01Speaker 5: Batman and Robin is where the hell is Batman and
- 20:05Speaker 5: Robin has to be on there though right yeah what
- 20:09Speaker 5: the heck Oh, okay.
- 20:11Speaker 13: The list includes Cheech and Chong, Batman and Robin, Blues Brothers,
- 20:15Speaker 13: Abbott and Costello, Sharon Dion from Clueless.
- 20:18Speaker 11: Okay.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Yeah, that's good.
- 20:20Speaker 5: And Laurie and Michael Myers from Halloween. But those aren't
- 20:23Speaker 5: in the top ten.
- 20:24Speaker 12: Oh.
- 20:25Speaker 3: What?
- 20:25Speaker 9: So there's better duos.
- 20:26Speaker 16: There's a better duo than Batman and Robin.
- 20:28Speaker 5: Han Solo and Chewbacca. Han Solo and Chewbacca, number four.
- 20:31Speaker 7: Oh, okay.
- 20:32Speaker 4: There we go.
- 20:32Speaker 9: Oh, Buzz and Woody.
- 20:33Speaker 5: Buzz and Woody.
- 20:34Speaker 12: Oh.
- 20:36Speaker 5: Buzz and Woody. Mike and Marcus from Bad Boys. Okay,
- 20:40Speaker 5: that's a good duo. Frodo and Samwise from Lord of
- 20:42Speaker 5: the Rings.
- 20:43Speaker 9: What about the two from 21 Jump Street?
- 20:45Speaker 5: Bonnie and Clyde are number five. Han Solo and Chewbacca
- 20:48Speaker 5: are number four. Thelma and Louise are number three.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Number two, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Number one is
- 20:54Speaker 5: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
- 20:56Speaker 11: Who is that?
- 20:57Speaker 4: It's a great old movie.
- 20:58Speaker 9: Back in the day. Throwback movie.
- 21:00Speaker 5: It's a throwback movie, but there were like two real criminals.
- 21:02Speaker 13: They were cowboys and they robbed people.
- 21:05Speaker 4: That's a great movie if you haven't seen it.
- 21:07Speaker 5: I haven't seen it, never have either, but I've heard
- 21:09Speaker 5: of it. It's one of the best westerns. You ever
- 21:10Speaker 5: heard of that song? Raindrops keep falling on my head.
- 21:13Speaker 9: I'm sure my grandma's played it once or twice.
- 21:16Speaker 5: Well, your grandma also listens to Talking Heads and listens
- 21:18Speaker 5: to modern music. She does.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Um, that's a great movie.
- 21:21Speaker 5: If you're happy in relationship, would it matter if your
- 21:24Speaker 5: partner wasn't the one new survey says that 41% of
- 21:28Speaker 5: single people believe they'll find the one. And that's, it's
- 21:31Speaker 5: not necessarily in the world. They don't.
- 21:33Speaker 13: Most people believe that they're in a relationship. One in
- 21:35Speaker 13: five couples don't think that their partner is the one
- 21:38Speaker 13: like their twin flame or whatever, but they're good.
- 21:40Speaker 5: They're good with whatever we're.
- 21:41Speaker 8: Staying with them.
- 21:42Speaker 18: Right?
- 21:42Speaker 8: Like if they are making like a ton of money,
- 21:45Speaker 8: I would, and I'm happy.
- 21:47Speaker 9: Even if they aren't the one? Who would admit that, though?
- 21:49Speaker 4: They could be a one.
- 21:50Speaker 16: I would say, yeah, they're tolerable. If your partner admitted that, though,
- 21:53Speaker 16: wouldn't you be like, what?
- 21:55Speaker 4: Yeah, that would be hurtful.
- 21:58Speaker 13: Here's some signs that your partner isn't the one. If
- 22:00Speaker 13: he forgets your anniversary, birthday, and name.
- 22:05Speaker 16: They should probably remember your name, yes.
- 22:08Speaker 5: If he makes a birthday wish, blows out the candles,
- 22:10Speaker 5: and you get struck by lightning, he's not the one.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Probably not the one.
- 22:15Speaker 5: You still make her laugh, but only when you ask
- 22:17Speaker 5: if she loves you. What do you have for life hacks, Rich?
- 22:22Speaker 4: Okay, so I think everybody goes all out for Halloween.
- 22:26Speaker 4: But when you go into the makeup part, when you
- 22:29Speaker 4: make up your face, the experts say don't just put
- 22:32Speaker 4: on the makeup on your face, like glitter, all that stuff,
- 22:35Speaker 4: because then you're going to be scrubbing the whole night,
- 22:38Speaker 4: getting that stuff off. They recommend using, if you've got
- 22:41Speaker 4: some kind of moisturizer that's thin, that's great, but they
- 22:44Speaker 4: want you to use an oil-based makeup remover to get
- 22:47Speaker 4: everything off. But to protect your skin... They like the
- 22:52Speaker 4: pods cold cream. Have you heard of that?
- 22:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:54Speaker 4: So use that as your base. And then when you
- 22:57Speaker 4: put the makeup over it. It's not going to be
- 22:59Speaker 4: like you need to sand a deck to get it off.
- 23:01Speaker 8: So basically, in other words, use a moisturizing lotion.
- 23:05Speaker 9: Before you put your makeup on. Prep your face. Do
- 23:08Speaker 9: some skin prep.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Prep your face. You know, guys don't know this. Girls
- 23:11Speaker 4: probably know this.
- 23:12Speaker 9: I was going to say, this is such a man
- 23:13Speaker 9: life hack right now. Guys don't know this.
- 23:16Speaker 8: We literally skin prep before we put regular makeup on.
- 23:19Speaker 4: I guess that's true.
- 23:21Speaker 9: Some people may not know though, I guess. So that's good.
- 23:23Speaker 9: It's good to know.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Like, I don't think any dudes do that. They're like,
- 23:26Speaker 4: I'm going to go get me some ponds now. So
- 23:28Speaker 4: there you go. That life hack at johnjainrich.com.
- 23:31Speaker 5: Hey dummy, if you get free roses, it's a trap.
- 23:42Speaker 5: War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
- 23:45Speaker 5: and Rich. All right, we're getting ready for War of
- 23:46Speaker 5: the Roses. Let's say hello to Raina. Good morning, Raina.
- 23:50Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Hi.
- 23:51Speaker 5: Hi.
- 23:52Speaker 13: So War of the Roses, you think someone's cheating on you.
- 23:54Speaker 13: So we're going to call them up, tell them they
- 23:55Speaker 13: want a dozen red roses. They can send them to
- 23:57Speaker 13: anybody they want for free.
- 23:58Speaker 5: Okay? So hopefully he picks you. What's your story, Reena?
- 24:01Speaker 22: Well, just for full disclosure, I've been cheated on before.
- 24:04Speaker 22: So I think I'm a little raw and it just
- 24:07Speaker 22: kind of like messes with me. I've just been noticing
- 24:11Speaker 22: some like kind of strange behavior from him. So he's
- 24:14Speaker 22: come home a few times with red lipstick or lip
- 24:19Speaker 22: gloss on his scrubs. And it's not like an everyday occurrence.
- 24:25Speaker 22: It's kind of here and there, which is even stranger,
- 24:28Speaker 22: I think. And then I've noticed the scrubs sometimes kind
- 24:33Speaker 22: of have a real floral smell to them that's not
- 24:37Speaker 22: anything that.
- 24:39Speaker 12: I've smelled before.
- 24:41Speaker 22: And so he's been a little distant, like he comes
- 24:45Speaker 22: in and he just like kind of goes straight to
- 24:47Speaker 22: his room and he's kind of like too tired to talk,
- 24:50Speaker 22: but yet he can just like scroll on his phone
- 24:53Speaker 22: for hours, it seems like. And he's just like, yeah,
- 24:55Speaker 22: it works crazy and exhausted. And I'm like, okay, you're
- 24:59Speaker 22: too exhausted to talk to me, but you can just
- 25:00Speaker 22: like call your attention on your phone. And so it's
- 25:05Speaker 22: stressing me out.
- 25:07Speaker 9: And I.
- 25:08Speaker 18: I don't know.
- 25:09Speaker 22: I've become paranoid. I'm like checking everything in his just
- 25:12Speaker 22: to see if I can find any clues of anything.
- 25:15Speaker 13: Hey, I think we've all seen enough Grey's Anatomy to
- 25:18Speaker 13: know or doc or ER to know that these nurses,
- 25:22Speaker 13: these doctors like to play around.
- 25:24Speaker 9: And you don't come home from the hospital smelling like floral.
- 25:27Speaker 14: No.
- 25:28Speaker 8: You don't come home smelling like antibacterial wipes.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Why not ask him, hey, what's up with the lip
- 25:35Speaker 4: gloss on your scrubs?
- 25:37Speaker 20: The reason I.
- 25:37Speaker 22: Haven't is because I think I kept waiting for him
- 25:40Speaker 22: to drop other clues, and if I brought up the lipstick,
- 25:43Speaker 22: I think he would have been like, oh, haha, make
- 25:45Speaker 22: some excuse, and then.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Cover his tracks more.
- 25:47Speaker 4: I was making out with another nurse.
- 25:49Speaker 8: Right, because when you bring it up, you give them
- 25:51Speaker 8: an opportunity to defend themselves.
- 25:53Speaker 9: That means you can't catch them red-handed. You need a
- 25:56Speaker 9: sneak attack.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 25:57Speaker 5: What's his name? His name is Nate. All right, we're
- 25:59Speaker 5: going to get Nate on the phone. We're going to
- 26:01Speaker 5: see who he sends flowers to. Hang tight, Raina. War
- 26:04Speaker 5: of the Roses continues next with John Dane Rich.
- 26:08Speaker 8: All right, we are in the middle of War of
- 26:14Speaker 8: the Roses.
- 26:14Speaker 5: You got Raina here. She thinks Nate, her boyfriend, who's
- 26:17Speaker 5: a nurse, is cheating on her. Now, she's been cheated
- 26:19Speaker 5: on before, and she's seen this weird behavior. Well, the
- 26:22Speaker 5: biggest thing, he comes home with red lipstick and smells
- 26:25Speaker 5: like perfume.
- 26:25Speaker 4: I would say that's check-in meat for the bus there.
- 26:28Speaker 5: I mean, you think about all the TV shows that
- 26:29Speaker 5: involve hospitals. I mean, sex sells. And all these hospital shows,
- 26:32Speaker 5: these nurses and doctors are always hooking up. So we
- 26:36Speaker 5: welcome you, Raina. Are you ready?
- 26:38Speaker 22: Yeah, I'm ready.
- 26:39Speaker 5: Kyle Lundfog, are you ready?
- 26:40Speaker 4: I'm ready.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Let's do it. Hello?
- 26:46Speaker 19: Hi there.
- 26:47Speaker 9: Is Nate available?
- 26:48Speaker 21: Yeah, this is Nate. Who's this?
- 26:51Speaker 2: Oh, perfect.
- 26:51Speaker 8: Hi.
- 26:52Speaker 9: So my name is Sydney. I'm with this new company.
- 26:53Speaker 9: We're called J & R Flowers.
- 26:54Speaker 16: We're doing kind of like a social media campaign called
- 26:57Speaker 16: Post for Petals. So you've been chosen, and here's what
- 27:00Speaker 16: it means for you. We send our most romantic bouquet.
- 27:03Speaker 16: It's a dozen red roses. It's totally free, and you
- 27:05Speaker 16: get to send it to anyone you want.
- 27:07Speaker 9: No, no, no.
- 27:09Speaker 21: Thanks.
- 27:10Speaker 16: I know it sounds really weird, but we really are
- 27:12Speaker 16: just looking for a little bit of marketing. So a
- 27:14Speaker 16: little shout-out on whatever social platform you use the most
- 27:17Speaker 16: is really all it's going to take. And I don't
- 27:19Speaker 16: need any personal info like credit card and we're not
- 27:21Speaker 16: going to send.
- 27:21Speaker 5: You a bill.
- 27:22Speaker 20: No.
- 27:23Speaker 5: Okay.
- 27:23Speaker 21: No credit card. No, nothing like that.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:26Speaker 16: And if you've got someone special in your life, I'm
- 27:27Speaker 16: telling you, these are very impressive. They are super sexy.
- 27:30Speaker 16: Like they are amazing.
- 27:34Speaker 8: Okay.
- 27:34Speaker 21: You know what? Screw it.
- 27:35Speaker 5: Yeah, sure.
- 27:36Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 27:36Speaker 9: Why not?
- 27:37Speaker 8: Okay.
- 27:37Speaker 16: And here's the coolest part about it is we actually
- 27:40Speaker 16: send like a voice note that comes with the roses.
- 27:43Speaker 16: And so really the only thing that I'm going to
- 27:46Speaker 16: need you to do is in just a second, I'll hit,
- 27:48Speaker 16: I'll hit record and you can just say whatever it
- 27:51Speaker 16: is you want, whoever you're sending them to, to hear.
- 27:54Speaker 9: Does that make sense?
- 27:55Speaker 4: Uh, yeah. Yeah.
- 27:56Speaker 21: All right.
- 27:57Speaker 7: Perfect.
- 27:58Speaker 8: Okay.
- 27:58Speaker 9: So I've got this ready at the tone. Please record
- 28:01Speaker 9: your message.
- 28:04Speaker 24: Hey, baby.
- 28:05Speaker 21: Take it to you. I hope you're having the best
- 28:07Speaker 21: day and I look forward to seeing you when you
- 28:09Speaker 21: get home.
- 28:11Speaker 8: Perfect.
- 28:12Speaker 9: And then who are we addressing these to?
- 28:14Speaker 21: That's going to be my girlfriend, Raina.
- 28:16Speaker 9: Raina's going to love that.
- 28:17Speaker 21: R-A-Y-N-A.
- 28:19Speaker 25: Yeah.
- 28:21Speaker 9: Very sweet.
- 28:23Speaker 19: Oh, my God.
- 28:23Speaker 9: Nate, are you are you serious right now?
- 28:28Speaker 21: Sorry, Reina, babe? What the hell? What's going on? Why
- 28:31Speaker 21: are you on the phone?
- 28:32Speaker 22: No, I'm actually the one who's confused right now. Why
- 28:35Speaker 22: would you send me flowers?
- 28:36Speaker 21: What do you mean, why? You're my girlfriend. What's happening
- 28:40Speaker 21: right now?
- 28:41Speaker 22: Well, I mean, you said all those sweet things, but
- 28:43Speaker 22: I just, I don't understand how you can say that
- 28:47Speaker 22: when I've been finding lipstick on your clothing.
- 28:50Speaker 19: Seriously.
- 28:51Speaker 7: Wait.
- 28:52Speaker 15: Like, I've seen the lipstick. You can't deny it.
- 28:54Speaker 22: They're on your scrubs. Like, who is kissing you at
- 28:58Speaker 22: work or after work?
- 28:59Speaker 21: I don't know.
- 28:59Speaker 22: Like, what is happening.
- 29:01Speaker 3: On your scrubs?
- 29:01Speaker 18: Okay, sorry.
- 29:01Speaker 21: Hold on. What is going on right now? Why are
- 29:04Speaker 21: we talking about this on the phone? What was the flowers?
- 29:07Speaker 2: What the heck is going on?
- 29:09Speaker 22: Well, I called John Jay and Rich, and I thought...
- 29:12Speaker 22: I called them because I thought you were cheating on me.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Can we do a thing called War of the Roses
- 29:16Speaker 5: on our radio show?
- 29:17Speaker 7: Hi.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Oh, babe.
- 29:19Speaker 2: You called a radio show to catch me cheating?
- 29:23Speaker 22: Well, I just didn't know what to think. I mean,
- 29:25Speaker 22: you came home, you smell like, like, woman's perfume, and
- 29:28Speaker 22: then there's, like, lipstick on your scrubs, and then you, like, you, like,
- 29:32Speaker 22: lock yourself in the bedroom for, like, hours, and it's
- 29:34Speaker 22: just like, Oh my God.
- 29:37Speaker 5: Okay.
- 29:37Speaker 21: Babe, are you, are you talking about Linda?
- 29:41Speaker 12: Linda?
- 29:42Speaker 17: Who the hell is Linda?
- 29:44Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 29:44Speaker 14: Okay.
- 29:44Speaker 3: This is insane.
- 29:45Speaker 23: What's insane?
- 29:46Speaker 4: Who's Linda?
- 29:46Speaker 21: Who am I supposed.
- 29:48Speaker 22: To know who Linda is?
- 29:51Speaker 10: Linda is 89 years old.
- 29:52Speaker 22: You sicko.
- 29:59Speaker 21: She's in hospice. She's a resident at the Senior Living Center.
- 30:05Speaker 6: Oh.
- 30:05Speaker 12: Linda.
- 30:06Speaker 5: So you take care of her.
- 30:08Speaker 4: And you're not having an affair with her, right? Just
- 30:10Speaker 4: to be clear.
- 30:11Speaker 23: No, she has dementia.
- 30:13Speaker 21: She thinks I'm her husband, Frank.
- 30:16Speaker 4: Oh.
- 30:16Speaker 5: Frank.
- 30:18Speaker 3: My God.
- 30:19Speaker 9: You must look like Frank.
- 30:20Speaker 4: That's so sad.
- 30:22Speaker 21: Her third husband, she sometimes confuses me with him.
- 30:26Speaker 2: She, like, grabs my cheeks, you know, and she wears
- 30:29Speaker 2: this bright red lipstick. She tries to go in for
- 30:31Speaker 2: a smooch. I try to, like, get out of the way.
- 30:33Speaker 2: That's why it ends up on my collar.
- 30:34Speaker 21: Oh, my God.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 30:37Speaker 9: Oh, please stop.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 30:39Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:42Speaker 21: One time she actually, she grabbed both my sides of
- 30:45Speaker 21: my face.
- 30:45Speaker 2: She grabbed my cheek and said, Frank, you still got it.
- 30:53Speaker 21: But the perfume, like, Yeah, that's Linda.
- 30:58Speaker 2: She wears way too much, and I can still smell
- 31:00Speaker 2: it on me after I shower.
- 31:02Speaker 21: I mean, it's overwhelming.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Raina, you're going to have to march right into hospice
- 31:06Speaker 4: and give Linda what for.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Listen, Linda.
- 31:09Speaker 9: Listen, Linda.
- 31:11Speaker 12: Stop pissing on my bed.
- 31:13Speaker 5: Frank is my man. Yeah, and then she'll probably leave
- 31:17Speaker 5: hospice pretty quickly after that.
- 31:19Speaker 22: So humiliating. I.
- 31:23Speaker 14: Oh, my God.
- 31:24Speaker 3: I'm so embarrassed.
- 31:26Speaker 21: It's totally fine.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, it's, I mean, granted, I don't want
- 31:31Speaker 2: to be accused on the radio of anything, but it
- 31:34Speaker 2: is kind of cute that I'm being accused of having
- 31:36Speaker 2: an affair with a woman who has a life alert button.
- 31:43Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 31:44Speaker 22: I mean, you have to admit, like, it looks bad, right?
- 31:47Speaker 15: Like, I'm not crazy.
- 31:49Speaker 21: Sure, but you could have just asked me.
- 31:53Speaker 18: Oh, my God.
- 31:58Speaker 3: You know I've been cheated on before.
- 32:00Speaker 18: I am so sorry.
- 32:01Speaker 5: I know, babe.
- 32:03Speaker 6: I know.
- 32:03Speaker 21: Okay, you have to trust me.
- 32:05Speaker 5: I love you.
- 32:06Speaker 21: That's why I send you the flowers. You really, I promise,
- 32:09Speaker 21: I'm not going to cheat on you. I'm not that guy.
- 32:12Speaker 21: You don't have anything to worry about.
- 32:14Speaker 14: No.
- 32:15Speaker 22: I feel like such a heel.
- 32:17Speaker 5: I am so sorry. Interesting. Happy ending.
- 32:21Speaker 21: Can we still get her flowers, you guys?
- 32:24Speaker 5: No, we have to hang up now.
- 32:26Speaker 9: Get Linda some flowers.
- 32:28Speaker 5: Send them from Frank.
- 32:29Speaker 9: I'm sure she would really appreciate that.
- 32:31Speaker 5: Thanks for going on the air with us, you guys.
- 32:32Speaker 5: Thank you, Raina. Happy ending for you. Thanks, Nate. You're
- 32:36Speaker 5: a very nice guy.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Of course.
- 32:38Speaker 5: Thanks for doing what you're doing. You have a very tough,
- 32:40Speaker 5: thankless job.
- 32:41Speaker 3: And I'm the crappy girlfriend.
- 32:42Speaker 12: No, no.
- 32:43Speaker 9: You guys are going to survive in this.
- 32:44Speaker 21: No, no, no. You're very sweet. No, it is very,
- 32:47Speaker 21: very sweet. Don't worry about it.
- 32:49Speaker 5: That's War of the Roses with John Dean Rich.
- 32:52Speaker 4: They say the holy waters watered down. Angels up in
- 32:54Speaker 4: the clouds.
- 33:00Speaker 5: I was telling you guys the other day how I
- 33:02Speaker 5: know there's a certain thing that's happening between my wife, Blake,
- 33:05Speaker 5: and I that's going to start a fight. I know
- 33:07Speaker 5: it's going to turn into a fight. The next time
- 33:09Speaker 5: we travel, it will probably be a fight. And that's
- 33:10Speaker 5: where she likes to take this bag with her that
- 33:13Speaker 5: I have to carry. And I'd rather be in a backpack.
- 33:16Speaker 5: And she won't do it. It has to be this bag.
- 33:19Speaker 5: And it's a very heavy bag. And it's uncomfortable to
- 33:21Speaker 5: carry her carry-on, my carry-on, and this bag. Like, it
- 33:25Speaker 5: could be her carry-on, my carry-on, and a backpack.
- 33:27Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 33:27Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying? She doesn't carry it. I'm
- 33:30Speaker 5: carrying it. And I brought it up twice, and she
- 33:32Speaker 5: gets really angry. But it just doesn't make sense to me.
- 33:35Speaker 5: So anyway, I thought it'd be fun. When did you
- 33:38Speaker 5: say or do something? You knew it's going to be
- 33:40Speaker 5: a fight. You know it's going to be a fight,
- 33:42Speaker 5: but you're going to do it anyway. Where are you
- 33:43Speaker 5: on this? Haley, what's your story? Good morning.
- 33:46Speaker 14: Good morning.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Hi. Hi.
- 33:47Speaker 15: My sister announced her baby name.
- 33:50Speaker 5: Okay.
- 33:51Speaker 15: At our family dinner.
- 33:53Speaker 3: And....
- 33:55Speaker 15: It felt like, what's that, Invasion of the Body Snatchers?
- 33:58Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 33:59Speaker 15: It was, everybody was just, they were all acting like
- 34:03Speaker 15: it was such a great idea.
- 34:05Speaker 26: They were pretending like.
- 34:06Speaker 8: Oh, that's so beautiful.
- 34:07Speaker 18: Oh, my God, that's so unique.
- 34:09Speaker 10: We love it.
- 34:10Speaker 15: It sounded like a prescription medication, the name.
- 34:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 34:14Speaker 4: Her name was Ozepic. What was the name?
- 34:19Speaker 15: Okay, well, so my sister wants to honor our mom,
- 34:23Speaker 15: who's McKenzie. And her husband's mom, who is Catherine. So
- 34:27Speaker 15: she combined their names and came up with Kenzaprine.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Oh, that does sound like a medication. Kenzaprine.
- 34:36Speaker 9: Side effects may include.
- 34:38Speaker 5: So the fight is where?
- 34:42Speaker 15: Well, she asked me what I thought. And I knew
- 34:47Speaker 15: that this was going to upset her. I couldn't stop myself.
- 34:51Speaker 15: I said, honestly.
- 34:53Speaker 17: it sounds like something that your insurance wouldn't cover.
- 34:55Speaker 4: That's great.
- 34:58Speaker 15: Well, no, she, she, she first did it. There's a, my,
- 35:02Speaker 15: my mom said that I was cruel and yeah, but I,
- 35:07Speaker 15: My sister banned me from the delivery room.
- 35:11Speaker 5: Oh, she's mad.
- 35:12Speaker 4: Did she stick with the name?
- 35:15Speaker 6: So far.
- 35:15Speaker 15: I mean, the baby's not born yet, but I, you know,
- 35:18Speaker 15: I genuinely, I thought she was telling me about a
- 35:21Speaker 15: medication the doctor prescribed for her during pregnancy. I, she
- 35:25Speaker 15: was so mad. I asked her if the middle name
- 35:27Speaker 15: was going to be Tylenol.
- 35:29Speaker 7: Oh, my gosh.
- 35:29Speaker 9: Not you doubling down.
- 35:31Speaker 5: So you knew it was going to be a fight,
- 35:32Speaker 5: but you pushed through anyway, and it turned into a fight.
- 35:36Speaker 15: I mean, it is my sacred duty as her auntie
- 35:40Speaker 15: to protect.
- 35:41Speaker 17: Her from the foolishness.
- 35:43Speaker 3: That her mother is engaging him.
- 35:45Speaker 5: You know, that's one of those things again, where you
- 35:46Speaker 5: don't tell people what you always hear people say, don't
- 35:49Speaker 5: ever say what the baby's name you're thinking of.
- 35:51Speaker 8: But speaking of baby names and sisters, this does kind
- 35:54Speaker 8: of remind me. So I love the name honey for
- 35:58Speaker 8: a girl. I think it is so cute, but so
- 36:00Speaker 8: does my sister. My sister has three boys and probably
- 36:03Speaker 8: isn't having any kids anymore. And I know that when
- 36:07Speaker 8: I named my daughter, honey, she is going to hate me.
- 36:10Speaker 4: Isn't that a Mariah Carey movie?
- 36:12Speaker 5: It is. But why would she hate you if she's
- 36:13Speaker 5: not having any more kids?
- 36:14Speaker 8: Because she feels like that's her name. She feels like
- 36:17Speaker 8: she came up with it. She feels like that's what
- 36:19Speaker 8: she should have been able to name her. She wanted,
- 36:21Speaker 8: my sister wanted a girl so bad and never got one.
- 36:23Speaker 16: Yeah, some people get very like, I don't know, possessive
- 36:27Speaker 16: over certain names.
- 36:28Speaker 5: No, that happened to me with a dog. My first
- 36:30Speaker 5: dog I ever got was, I wanted to name the
- 36:32Speaker 5: dog Fletch.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Oh, that's awesome.
- 36:34Speaker 13: Yeah, and my boss said, don't name your dog Fletch.
- 36:38Speaker 13: His wife was pregnant. He goes, we want to name
- 36:39Speaker 13: our son Fletch. The son was born. I named my
- 36:43Speaker 13: dog Tugs. Their son was born, and they named him Chase.
- 36:45Speaker 8: They didn't even name him Flesh.
- 36:46Speaker 5: And I was so bummed.
- 36:47Speaker 16: I was like, yeah.
- 36:48Speaker 9: I was going to use that.
- 36:49Speaker 8: I did it because of you.
- 36:50Speaker 5: Yeah, but I understand that, though. I don't understand your
- 36:53Speaker 5: sister getting mad. I think she's not having any more kids.
- 36:56Speaker 21: Exactly.
- 36:56Speaker 9: She's just a Sagittarius.
- 36:57Speaker 5: So she should be really supportive that her niece is
- 36:58Speaker 5: named Honey.
- 36:59Speaker 9: No, she's not, though.
- 37:01Speaker 5: Fascinating.
- 37:02Speaker 9: That's the point. I know when I do it, she's
- 37:04Speaker 9: going to be so mad at me.
- 37:05Speaker 5: Hayley, thanks for calling in, Hayley.
- 37:07Speaker 3: My pleasure.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Hey trivia masters want to win a thousand bucks from
- 37:18Speaker 2: pure afford with john jane rich.
- 37:20Speaker 8: Be our next minute to win it contestant text jjr
- 37:23Speaker 8: and the word trivia to 96893 to.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Play when did you say or do something you knew
- 37:29Speaker 5: was going to turn into a fight natalie what's your
- 37:31Speaker 5: story good morning thanks for holding Of course.
- 37:35Speaker 7: Okay.
- 37:35Speaker 3: So my story is I am a very independent woman.
- 37:39Speaker 5: I always have been.
- 37:41Speaker 3: And I know that my boyfriend is low-key jealous of that.
- 37:46Speaker 3: So one day he was bragging about how he was
- 37:50Speaker 3: so independent because he had fixed a flat tire in
- 37:52Speaker 3: his car. And it just reminded me of that saying,
- 37:58Speaker 3: behind every great man is a woman rolling her eyes.
- 38:00Speaker 3: I just couldn't keep it together because I just know, like,
- 38:03Speaker 3: his mom still books his doctor's appointments. She books his flights.
- 38:07Speaker 3: She calls me to ask what he wants for dinner, like,
- 38:10Speaker 3: when he goes over there. So I knew it would
- 38:12Speaker 3: make him mad, but I just, like, I couldn't bite
- 38:14Speaker 3: my tongue. I had to say it.
- 38:16Speaker 5: And I.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Looked him in the eye and said, you're not independent.
- 38:20Speaker 3: You're low-key a group project between me and your mother.
- 38:22Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 38:25Speaker 3: I knew it would start a fight. I knew it
- 38:26Speaker 3: would start a fight. But there's also, like, no arguing
- 38:28Speaker 3: with it. He knows it's true. So he just didn't
- 38:32Speaker 3: speak to me for the rest of the night. And
- 38:33Speaker 3: then really the kicker was that his mom texted me
- 38:37Speaker 3: later asking what happened. I'm like, and there it.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Is, you know?
- 38:41Speaker 5: Hey, man, he fixed a flat tire. I'm on his side.
- 38:43Speaker 9: That's pretty good.
- 38:44Speaker 3: I mean, he fixed a flat tire. But it's like
- 38:47Speaker 3: you don't even know, like, you don't know how to
- 38:49Speaker 3: make an egg, you know?
- 38:50Speaker 4: In the greater scheme of things, it's got to be
- 38:52Speaker 4: a little more evened out is what you're saying.
- 38:54Speaker 3: It has to be more evened out. The man doesn't
- 38:56Speaker 3: know how to sweep the man. I mean, I'm glad
- 38:58Speaker 3: he fixed his flat tire. I wish he could do
- 39:02Speaker 3: one thing in our apartment.
- 39:03Speaker 25: You know?
- 39:03Speaker 5: Hey, fixing a flat tire is hard. Making flight appointments
- 39:07Speaker 5: is calling freaking the travel agent or calling the airlines
- 39:09Speaker 5: and doing it or doing it online.
- 39:11Speaker 9: No, it can be a little difficult.
- 39:12Speaker 5: Okay, let me rephrase that. Fixing a flat tire can
- 39:16Speaker 5: be dangerous.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Yes, it can. Also, deeply satisfying, I feel like, if
- 39:21Speaker 4: you do it on your own.
- 39:22Speaker 16: Also, though, I kind of feel like if you start
- 39:24Speaker 16: celebrating the wins when he does do things that are independent,
- 39:28Speaker 16: it may encourage him to do more.
- 39:30Speaker 3: That's probably fair. Like, I know that he just like
- 39:34Speaker 3: looked it up on YouTube and he was like all
- 39:37Speaker 3: day was walking around like thinking he was like the
- 39:39Speaker 3: coolest guy in the world. And I was just like,
- 39:41Speaker 3: you need to try harder. You're probably right.
- 39:44Speaker 5: Natalie, thanks for calling in. Thanks for listening. Thomas, good morning.
- 39:49Speaker 5: You are our contestant for Minute to Win It. How
- 39:51Speaker 5: are you?
- 39:52Speaker 15: Good morning.
- 39:53Speaker 17: I'm great.
- 39:53Speaker 15: How are you all?
- 39:54Speaker 5: Give us a little fun fact about yourself, Thomas.
- 39:57Speaker 23: A little fun fact about myself.
- 40:00Speaker 5: I'm colorblind. How do you know your color? What do
- 40:03Speaker 5: you see when you're colorblind?
- 40:05Speaker 23: I see black and white. No, I'm just kidding. I
- 40:10Speaker 23: see all the colors, but it's just difficult for me to...
- 40:14Speaker 23: and distinguish between certain tones of colors.
- 40:17Speaker 9: Yeah, it's true.
- 40:17Speaker 16: I actually volunteered at my kid's school for like the
- 40:20Speaker 16: vision and hearing screenings.
- 40:21Speaker 9: And there's literally like a book.
- 40:23Speaker 16: And in the book, there's these circles that are made
- 40:25Speaker 16: of dots and dots of different colors. And then there's a, like,
- 40:28Speaker 16: say it's an orange dotted circle. There'd be like a
- 40:31Speaker 16: red 76 on the inside. And you have to say,
- 40:33Speaker 16: what number do you see? And if they see the number,
- 40:36Speaker 16: they're not like colorblind on all of them. And if
- 40:38Speaker 16: they are, they might have, they might have it.
- 40:40Speaker 4: That's why they say the throwback, you know, when the
- 40:42Speaker 4: NFL teams wear the throwback uniforms. It messes up colorblind
- 40:45Speaker 4: people because the the the whole everything they know is
- 40:49Speaker 4: screwed up on TV. They look like it's the same team.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh.
- 40:52Speaker 8: When I was in like elementary school, I thought being
- 40:55Speaker 8: colorblind would be so cool. So, Kyle, the tests that
- 40:58Speaker 8: you read the book, I knew what color red was,
- 41:00Speaker 8: but I would say like purple. But they knew that
- 41:02Speaker 8: I wasn't actually colorblind. I was totally trying to say
- 41:07Speaker 8: that I was colorblind, and I totally wasn't.
- 41:09Speaker 9: But they knew.
- 41:09Speaker 8: Because I almost failed kindergarten.
- 41:15Speaker 23: I was painting the grass brown and the tree barks green,
- 41:20Speaker 23: and they thought I was just messing around.
- 41:22Speaker 5: You know what? That is a very interesting fun fact. Well,
- 41:26Speaker 5: thanks for calling in. Let's play. You ready to win $ 1, 000?
- 41:29Speaker 7: I am.
- 41:29Speaker 23: Let's do this.
- 41:29Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 41:30Speaker 3: 60 seconds on the clock.
- 41:32Speaker 12: Let's go.
- 41:32Speaker 9: What quarterback has won the most Super Bowls?
- 41:35Speaker 20: John Elway.
- 41:47Speaker 8: Oh, no.
- 41:48Speaker 9: Is it Tom Brady?
- 41:49Speaker 4: Tom Brady.
- 41:50Speaker 5: Oh, Thomas.
- 41:52Speaker 4: You were question blind as well.
- 41:54Speaker 5: That's sad.
- 41:57Speaker 23: You know what?
- 41:59Speaker 4: I know that, but I hate to admit it. She's like,
- 42:04Speaker 4: I'd rather lose $ 1, 000 than get Tom Brady.
- 42:07Speaker 5: Oh, I'm sorry, Thomas. It's okay. Thomas.
- 42:11Speaker 9: Nice try.
- 42:12Speaker 5: Hey, we're going to set you up with Del Taco
- 42:15Speaker 5: gift cards. Oh, for sure. All right. Thanks for listening, Thomas.
- 42:20Speaker 10: No problem.
- 42:22Speaker 5: Hey, guys. This is the John Jay and Rich tradition.
- 42:26Speaker 5: We like to do a sound effects theater. Sound effects theater. Rich,
- 42:30Speaker 5: how do you explain sound effects theater?
- 42:31Speaker 4: Well, because we find that it's really challenging for both
- 42:35Speaker 4: Kyle and Peyton to do sound effects. So we like
- 42:38Speaker 4: to highlight that in story form. So we have written
- 42:42Speaker 4: a couple of stories. Peyton, you will go first and
- 42:45Speaker 4: then Kyle. And then we will decide who does the
- 42:48Speaker 4: best sound effects as we leave room for you to
- 42:50Speaker 4: make sound effects inside your story. So Peyton, we'll start
- 42:54Speaker 4: with you.
- 42:54Speaker 3: All right.
- 42:55Speaker 4: In this story we call The Haunted Mansion. The clock
- 43:04Speaker 4: struck midnight.
- 43:05Speaker 12: Yes.
- 43:10Speaker 4: I didn't ask for a sprinkler. I asked for a
- 43:11Speaker 4: clock striking. It's the witching hour.
- 43:15Speaker 5: You have to do like nine more of those.
- 43:18Speaker 4: That's seven.
- 43:20Speaker 9: No, no, you're good.
- 43:24Speaker 4: You're good. You're good. It was the witching hour on
- 43:28Speaker 4: Halloween at the old at the old Norwood mansion. A
- 43:33Speaker 4: storm was raging outside. She was 15 and upon a dare,
- 43:41Speaker 4: walked up to the front door and knocked three times. No,
- 43:46Speaker 4: you got to do the sound effects with your mouth.
- 43:50Speaker 4: Then rang the doorbell. Nobody answered, so she rang it incessantly.
- 43:56Speaker 8: Nobody answered, so she busted a window to get in.
- 43:59Speaker 8: The door slowly creaked open.
- 44:08Speaker 4: Somewhere in the woods, a wolf howled. And then a
- 44:12Speaker 4: black cat hissed from the stairs. Then a ghost burst
- 44:16Speaker 4: out of the closet and screamed. The kid screamed back.
- 44:23Speaker 4: The ghost got scared and ran away screaming. The kid
- 44:28Speaker 4: walked into the kitchen humming a spooky song. And made
- 44:33Speaker 4: a haunted sandwich. Tonight was a good night.
- 44:38Speaker 5: That was so good.
- 44:39Speaker 9: Those are good sound effects.
- 44:41Speaker 4: Not bad.
- 44:42Speaker 9: You win.
- 44:43Speaker 4: Not bad.
- 44:44Speaker 9: You're not out of this one.
- 44:46Speaker 5: You must compete. All right. This is a Kyle story.
- 44:53Speaker 5: It was high noon in the 1800s in Tombstone, Arizona.
- 44:59Speaker 5: The wind was howling through the dusty streets. A cowboy
- 45:09Speaker 5: rode into town, his horse, his horse clopping up the water.
- 45:15Speaker 5: The horse neighed.
- 45:18Speaker 12: Again.
- 45:19Speaker 5: As he stepped off his horse, a rattlesnake hissed, rattled
- 45:22Speaker 5: under his boot. And it rattled away. He pulled out
- 45:33Speaker 5: his six-shooter out of his holster, cocked it. and fired
- 45:37Speaker 5: all six bullets at the snake. He missed.
- 45:44Speaker 13: Not a good cowboy. The snake rithered away, or swithered away.
- 45:51Speaker 13: He walked into a bar whistling a cowboy song. And
- 45:56Speaker 13: he ordered a cowboy drink.
- 45:59Speaker 5: I'll take a beverage!
- 46:00Speaker 9: A beer, please!
- 46:03Speaker 5: All of a sudden, a window smashed.
- 46:05Speaker 12: Oh!
- 46:06Speaker 5: The glass was shattered everywhere. Kyle moaned in ecstasy. What now?
- 46:20Speaker 4: So that's the way it is.
- 46:21Speaker 9: Did you read that right?
- 46:23Speaker 4: What the heck?
- 46:23Speaker 9: You got a little freaky. You got into some smut
- 46:25Speaker 9: right there. You're going to come into the cowboy.
- 46:28Speaker 5: Well, I'm getting there, but she moaned it. What was it?
- 46:30Speaker 8: Moaned it?
- 46:30Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 46:38Speaker 13: I'm not going to.
- 46:41Speaker 5: Lie to you guys.
- 46:44Speaker 9: It ended a long time ago.
- 46:46Speaker 5: It was a good day.
- 46:49Speaker 4: Well, I think you both did really good.
- 46:53Speaker 5: You call Kyle's husband and play the clip of her
- 46:56Speaker 5: morning ecstasy. He'd be like, is that Kyle having a...
- 46:59Speaker 5: He'd be like, yep. That's right. Good job. Good game.
- 47:06Speaker 5: Good game.
- 47:06Speaker 9: High five.
- 47:07Speaker 5: And that's SFX Theater. Hey, guys, it's time for Dogshot
- 47:13Speaker 5: Caller Trivia. I have a fun little game since we're
- 47:16Speaker 5: in a spooky season.
- 47:18Speaker 25: Thursday and John just got a game for you.
- 47:23Speaker 5: All right, so the way this works is I've got
- 47:25Speaker 5: trivia questions. Whoever gets the most wrong has to sing
- 47:29Speaker 5: a song with a dogshot collar on it. And I'm
- 47:31Speaker 5: going to kind of trick you guys on this because
- 47:33Speaker 5: these are questions I've already asked you.
- 47:35Speaker 18: Oh, no.
- 47:36Speaker 4: Oh, gosh.
- 47:37Speaker 5: And a couple of them I haven't asked you. Okay?
- 47:40Speaker 5: And it's that true crime trivia that we did last week.
- 47:43Speaker 9: The one that I did terribly in?
- 47:45Speaker 14: Cool.
- 47:45Speaker 9: Let's do that again.
- 47:46Speaker 5: Exactly right. Okay? So, Rich... This killer terrorized San Francisco
- 47:54Speaker 5: in the 1970s, targeting gay men and leaving sketches behind
- 47:58Speaker 5: that helped police eventually identify him. He was nicknamed after
- 48:01Speaker 5: a horror film character.
- 48:03Speaker 14: Oh.
- 48:04Speaker 5: I'll tell you, I've never heard of this guy before.
- 48:06Speaker 4: I was going to say the Golden Gate Killer, but
- 48:08Speaker 4: since you say after a horror film, the Psycho Killer.
- 48:12Speaker 5: No, anybody know?
- 48:13Speaker 20: Nope.
- 48:14Speaker 5: His name is The Doodler.
- 48:15Speaker 4: The Doodler?
- 48:16Speaker 5: Never heard of him.
- 48:17Speaker 4: What a terrible nickname.
- 48:18Speaker 5: Okay.
- 48:19Speaker 4: He should protest that.
- 48:20Speaker 9: From all his doodles?
- 48:23Speaker 5: Kyle, this convicted serial killer and sex offender murdered 17
- 48:26Speaker 5: males between 1978 and 1991. Okay.
- 48:31Speaker 9: Was this Jeffrey Dahmer?
- 48:32Speaker 7: Yes.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 48:33Speaker 5: I asked you that last week because I wanted to
- 48:34Speaker 5: make sure you got it right. Peyton, known as the
- 48:38Speaker 5: BTK Killer. This man murdered 10 people in Kansas between
- 48:43Speaker 5: 1974 and 1991 in Wichita and Park City, Kansas. He
- 48:47Speaker 5: sent letters taunting the police and press for years before
- 48:49Speaker 5: being caught. BTK stands for Bind, Torture, Kill. What's his name?
- 48:55Speaker 8: I don't know his name.
- 48:56Speaker 9: I know him as the BTK Killer. If you would
- 48:58Speaker 9: have said, what does BTK stand for, I would have
- 48:59Speaker 9: told you.
- 49:00Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 49:00Speaker 9: What's his name? His name is Mark. His name is Mark.
- 49:03Speaker 8: Mark Anthony.
- 49:05Speaker 5: Does anybody know? When I tell you his name, you're
- 49:06Speaker 5: gonna know.
- 49:06Speaker 16: Oh my gosh, no, because I'm trying to, he was
- 49:08Speaker 16: on Mindhunter. He was the one that they, but I can't.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Remember his name.
- 49:11Speaker 4: It's not Ed Dean.
- 49:12Speaker 5: No, it's Dennis Rader.
- 49:13Speaker 9: I would have never gotten that, but ugh, so annoying,
- 49:16Speaker 9: I know.
- 49:16Speaker 8: Who he is.
- 49:17Speaker 5: Rich, this Wichita, Kansas area construction worker was involved in
- 49:20Speaker 5: politics and even acted as a clown for birthday parties.
- 49:23Speaker 5: He was also a serial killer.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 49:26Speaker 6: Um.
- 49:27Speaker 4: Gacy. Oh, yeah.
- 49:28Speaker 5: Wayne Gacy.
- 49:29Speaker 4: One more. Wayne Michael Gacy. Edgar Cayce. One more before Wayne.
- 49:33Speaker 4: Michael Wayne Gacy.
- 49:34Speaker 24: Jan.
- 49:34Speaker 6: Jan. Jan.
- 49:34Speaker 14: Jan.

- 49:39Speaker 24: Jan.
- 49:39Speaker 4: Jan.
- 49:39Speaker 14: Jan.
- 49:39Speaker 12: Jan.

- 49:41Speaker 14: Jan. Jan.
- 49:41Speaker 6: Jan. Jan. Jan.

- 49:42Speaker 6: Jan.
- 49:42Speaker 8: Jan.
- 49:42Speaker 14: Jan.
- 49:42Speaker 5: Jan.
- 49:42Speaker 12: Jan.
- 49:42Speaker 7: Jan.
- 49:43Speaker 6: Jan.
- 49:43Speaker 14: Jan.
- 49:43Speaker 12: Jan.
- 49:43Speaker 6: Jan.
- 49:43Speaker 7: Jan.
- 49:43Speaker 6: Jan.
- 49:43Speaker 8: Jan.
- 49:43Speaker 14: Jan.
- 49:43Speaker 8: Jan. Jan.
- 49:44Speaker 12: Jan.
- 49:44Speaker 5: Jan Kyle, this killer murdered at least five people in
- 49:46Speaker 5: the early 1970s while hitchhiking across the U.S., often targeted
- 49:50Speaker 5: young women. He became known as the co-ed killer.
- 49:54Speaker 12: Oh, yeah.
- 49:54Speaker 9: And he escaped twice. And he was good looking.
- 49:58Speaker 16: Everyone saw it. And I can't think of his name
- 50:01Speaker 16: right now.
- 50:01Speaker 9: What was his name? It was, oh, my gosh.
- 50:05Speaker 16: And they're like, Zac Efron played him in one of
- 50:08Speaker 16: the documentaries that came out at the exact same time
- 50:10Speaker 16: as the other documentary came out.
- 50:11Speaker 5: Are you thinking of Ted?
- 50:13Speaker 2: Yes.
- 50:14Speaker 5: Yes, I am. You're thinking of Ted?
- 50:15Speaker 4: Ted.
- 50:16Speaker 9: Ted Bundy?
- 50:18Speaker 5: Are you thinking of Ted Bundy?
- 50:19Speaker 9: I was.
- 50:21Speaker 5: I gave you that trivia question last week. The answer
- 50:23Speaker 5: was Ted Bundy. I couldn't remember his name. You're thinking
- 50:26Speaker 5: of Ted Bundy?
- 50:27Speaker 4: Yes.
- 50:27Speaker 5: Okay, no, that's not it. This guy was also in Mindhunter.
- 50:31Speaker 5: Edmund Kemper.
- 50:32Speaker 12: Ed Kemper.
- 50:34Speaker 7: Ed Kemper.
- 50:35Speaker 9: Well, that's hard.
- 50:37Speaker 4: I know.
- 50:37Speaker 9: A lot of them targeted women.
- 50:39Speaker 5: Uh-huh.
- 50:41Speaker 13: Payne, this serial killer was a nurse who murdered dozens,
- 50:44Speaker 13: possibly hundreds of patients during a 16-year career spanning several
- 50:47Speaker 13: New Jersey and Pennsylvania medical centers until being arrested in 2003.
- 50:51Speaker 13: He was profiled in the movie The Good Nurse.
- 50:55Speaker 8: Oh, The Good Nurse.
- 50:56Speaker 12: He.
- 50:57Speaker 8: He.
- 50:58Speaker 9: That threw me off, too.
- 50:59Speaker 14: He.
- 51:04Speaker 9: His name is The Killer Nurse Richard.
- 51:08Speaker 14: Oh.
- 51:08Speaker 5: Richard.
- 51:09Speaker 4: What's his name?
- 51:10Speaker 5: Richard.
- 51:11Speaker 8: No.
- 51:11Speaker 9: What's his name?
- 51:13Speaker 5: Charles Cullen.
- 51:13Speaker 9: I would have never caught that.
- 51:15Speaker 5: Rich, this man was convicted of strangling his 34-year-old pregnant wife, Shanann,
- 51:20Speaker 5: who was 15 weeks pregnant with a son they planned
- 51:22Speaker 5: to name Nico and suffocating their daughter's four-year-old Bella, three-year-old
- 51:25Speaker 5: Celeste in Frederick, Colorado. You remember the story?
- 51:27Speaker 4: Oh, that was so sad. Gosh, that's terrible.
- 51:31Speaker 5: I wonder if Kyle will get this because I remember
- 51:33Speaker 5: you were very obsessed with this story. Because of the, remember? Shaman.
- 51:36Speaker 11: Yep.
- 51:37Speaker 4: I remember that name. I don't remember his name.
- 51:39Speaker 8: Yeah, and he put them in like the tank in
- 51:42Speaker 8: the front of the house.
- 51:43Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 51:43Speaker 9: In the septic tank. What a sicko.
- 51:45Speaker 4: Terrible. I can't remember his name though. I'm so sorry.
- 51:47Speaker 8: Chris something.
- 51:48Speaker 5: Chris something. Yeah, Chris.
- 51:49Speaker 8: Yes.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:50Speaker 8: Watts.
- 51:51Speaker 4: Chris Watts.
- 51:52Speaker 9: He thought he got away with it. He was really
- 51:54Speaker 9: sick in the head though, like crying to the news.
- 51:57Speaker 5: All of these people are sick in the head. Every
- 51:59Speaker 5: single one of these people have one thing in common,
- 52:01Speaker 5: they're sick in the head.
- 52:03Speaker 13: Kyle, this Long Island architect became the central suspect in
- 52:06Speaker 13: the Gilgo Beach serial killings.
- 52:08Speaker 5: I asked you this on Friday.
- 52:10Speaker 13: In April 2026, he pleaded guilty to murdering eight women,
- 52:12Speaker 13: was later sentenced to multiple life sentences without parole.
- 52:15Speaker 5: His name is? I gave you the same exact question.
- 52:19Speaker 9: You act as if I remember things. His name is Roy.
- 52:24Speaker 9: Roy Gilgo.
- 52:25Speaker 4: Close.
- 52:26Speaker 5: Rex Heuermann. Heuermann.
- 52:28Speaker 4: Heuermann.
- 52:28Speaker 9: She was close with the R.
- 52:30Speaker 5: Anyway, that's our game.
- 52:32Speaker 8: Who lost?
- 52:32Speaker 5: You guys all lost. I think we all kind of.
- 52:35Speaker 9: How about whatever a triplet is instead of a duet?
- 52:39Speaker 4: A triplet. You know, I was thinking of a killer song,
- 52:41Speaker 4: and the one that I could come up with was
- 52:42Speaker 4: Die with a Smile.
- 52:44Speaker 5: Oh, that's a good one.
- 52:45Speaker 8: That's a good one.
- 52:48Speaker 25: So I will love you every night like it's the
- 52:52Speaker 25: last night, like it's the last night. If the world
- 52:56Speaker 25: was ending, I'd want.
- 52:59Speaker 4: To be next to you.
- 53:03Speaker 6: If the party is over, no time on earth.
- 53:09Speaker 14: Take them off.
- 53:10Speaker 21: Take them off.
- 53:10Speaker 5: I want to hold you just for.
- 53:13Speaker 6: A while And time with a smile And the.
- 53:26Speaker 2: World was painting I want to be next.
- 53:28Speaker 25: To you It's Thursday and John just got a game
- 53:31Speaker 25: for you.
- 53:44Speaker 8: Okay, so I came across this debate online and I
- 53:46Speaker 8: feel like it can get really messy because people have
- 53:49Speaker 8: some really strong opinions about it. So people are basically
- 53:52Speaker 8: saying that we need to stop treating our coworkers like
- 53:55Speaker 8: they're our friends. Like be friendly, go grab drinks after
- 53:59Speaker 8: the fact, but inviting people like, into your home, introducing
- 54:03Speaker 8: them to your family, telling them about your relationships is
- 54:05Speaker 8: apparently like a big, big no-no. And like where it
- 54:09Speaker 8: gets interesting is people are saying that this problem isn't
- 54:11Speaker 8: that our coworkers.
- 54:12Speaker 9: Are bad people.
- 54:14Speaker 8: It's just that our coworkers have access to parts of
- 54:16Speaker 8: our life that our regular friends don't. So when things
- 54:19Speaker 8: get left, it can affect our personal life and our
- 54:22Speaker 8: work life.
- 54:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that's, I don't like it.
- 54:24Speaker 5: I get it.
- 54:25Speaker 16: So it's saying like, if you end up getting fired,
- 54:28Speaker 16: it's also like you're losing friends too, or it's like
- 54:30Speaker 16: a way to disassociate.
- 54:32Speaker 8: That could be a way of it. But like one
- 54:34Speaker 8: thing was like your personal business can become office gossip.
- 54:38Speaker 8: Oh yeah.
- 54:38Speaker 5: It probably will.
- 54:39Speaker 9: It probably will.
- 54:40Speaker 5: I think it depends on the coworker. Um, I really do.
- 54:43Speaker 5: Cause I, uh, many, many years ago before I was
- 54:46Speaker 5: on this show, I was on another show and I
- 54:49Speaker 5: had a situation where I invited everyone over to my
- 54:51Speaker 5: house for a party. And then when they kind of,
- 54:54Speaker 5: saw how I live versus how they live. They all
- 54:57Speaker 5: start talking smack and it was just, and it got
- 54:59Speaker 5: so uncomfortable. And I wasn't, I was trying to make
- 55:01Speaker 5: us all friends so we could all gel. I mean,
- 55:04Speaker 5: here's a, here's an example. Like all of you guys
- 55:06Speaker 5: have been to my house, right? I've never been to
- 55:09Speaker 5: Kyle's house.
- 55:10Speaker 9: I haven't invited you.
- 55:11Speaker 4: I know.
- 55:12Speaker 9: Only because I know you won't drive that far.
- 55:14Speaker 5: I've been to Rich's house. I've been to Peyton's house.
- 55:16Speaker 5: I haven't been to Kyle's house. I thought about that
- 55:19Speaker 5: the other day.
- 55:19Speaker 16: That's out of courtesy because I don't want to have
- 55:22Speaker 16: you drive too far.
- 55:23Speaker 9: You don't like to leave your bubble.
- 55:24Speaker 5: So Kyle follows that rule.
- 55:27Speaker 9: Peyton's been to my house. Rich's daughter's been to my house.
- 55:32Speaker 4: She spent the.
- 55:33Speaker 5: Night in the ghost room. Brie, your thoughts on this debate.
- 55:37Speaker 5: Go ahead.
- 55:39Speaker 26: Um, well, I got really close with a coworker. I mean,
- 55:43Speaker 26: I introduced her to my whole family. My parents loved her.
- 55:47Speaker 26: She came to holidays, like everything. And then my parents
- 55:51Speaker 26: announced they were getting divorced. And like within three months,
- 55:56Speaker 26: I found out she was sleeping with my dad.
- 55:59Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 56:00Speaker 5: Hello.
- 56:01Speaker 4: Twist did not see that coming.
- 56:02Speaker 5: That's why you got to really get to know the
- 56:03Speaker 5: coworkers before you buy them over.
- 56:05Speaker 21: Yikes.
- 56:06Speaker 10: What the?
- 56:07Speaker 8: What?
- 56:07Speaker 5: Your dad's like, I'm just trying to support you and
- 56:09Speaker 5: your company.
- 56:09Speaker 4: How does work go after that for you?
- 56:12Speaker 26: She does not work with me anymore because apparently now
- 56:16Speaker 26: she's too busy being my stepmom.
- 56:21Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh. Well, you win this round.
- 56:24Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 56:24Speaker 5: That's terrible.
- 56:25Speaker 8: No, that's so valid, though, because on here, like, it
- 56:27Speaker 8: says another big thing for coworkers is that they can
- 56:30Speaker 8: start infiltrating your personal relationships.
- 56:33Speaker 9: And Bree hit it right there.
- 56:35Speaker 4: I don't know. I can't see Peyton or Kyle hook
- 56:37Speaker 4: it up with my dad, Frank.
- 56:38Speaker 9: Yeah, no.
- 56:39Speaker 24: No.
- 56:39Speaker 8: Come here, Frankie. Meow.
- 56:43Speaker 20: Wow.
- 56:44Speaker 8: Like this one girl, she said she invited her coworker
- 56:46Speaker 8: to her birthday party. She met her best friend six
- 56:49Speaker 8: months later. She's on a girl trip with her friends
- 56:51Speaker 8: and she wasn't invited.
- 56:52Speaker 20: Oh, that stinks.
- 56:54Speaker 5: That happens to me all the time. That happens to
- 56:56Speaker 5: me all the time. That is true. I made two
- 57:00Speaker 5: people friends with my neighbor and now they go on
- 57:02Speaker 5: trips and helicopters and stuff.
- 57:04Speaker 21: Jeez.
- 57:05Speaker 4: They go on helicopter trips without you?
- 57:07Speaker 5: Yeah, for real. As crazy as that sounds, yes. Thank you. Anna,
- 57:12Speaker 5: good morning. Your thoughts on this debate?
- 57:14Speaker 19: So I became really close with a co-worker and she
- 57:19Speaker 19: was at my apartment constantly. And one day my landlord
- 57:23Speaker 19: called me asking like why I was trying to add
- 57:26Speaker 19: someone to my leash.
- 57:28Speaker 5: I wasn't.
- 57:29Speaker 19: And she, I guess, had emailed him pretending to be me.
- 57:33Speaker 19: And basically, she had decided we were going to live
- 57:36Speaker 19: together and wanted to surprise me once it was approved.
- 57:40Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 57:42Speaker 9: That is, yeah. I mean, finding out before that actually happened,
- 57:46Speaker 9: you dodged a bullet there.
- 57:47Speaker 4: That's an actual psychopathic move right there.
- 57:50Speaker 9: I kind of feel like if, like, life had sound effects,
- 57:52Speaker 9: you'd hear, reek.
- 57:53Speaker 14: Reek, reek.
- 57:54Speaker 4: Murderer.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:57Speaker 19: Oh, totally. Obviously I cut her off and everything, but
- 58:01Speaker 19: then I, I, I, I have a four page handwritten
- 58:07Speaker 19: letter on my car that basically admits that she was
- 58:10Speaker 19: obsessed with me. It was really crazy. She just said
- 58:18Speaker 19: she like, she thought we were supposed to do life together.
- 58:21Speaker 6: Oh man.
- 58:22Speaker 4: And you just didn't know it yet. She was just
- 58:24Speaker 4: kind of like, you didn't know it, but once she
- 58:27Speaker 4: introduced the idea, you would be down with it.
- 58:29Speaker 8: I guess we could have been together. So now I'm
- 58:31Speaker 8: going to set your house on fire.
- 58:32Speaker 4: And that is why Kyle has not invited us to
- 58:34Speaker 4: her house.
- 58:35Speaker 13: That's why you need a restraining order. You should, you
- 58:37Speaker 13: should have got a restraining order on that girl. That's crazy.
- 58:40Speaker 9: That's scary.
- 58:40Speaker 19: Oh, I, I, so it became so bad that she
- 58:43Speaker 19: started showing at places that like showing up at places
- 58:46Speaker 19: that she knew that I would be.
- 58:47Speaker 9: Oh, heck no.
- 58:48Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 58:50Speaker 19: It was to the point that I had to go
- 58:53Speaker 19: to HR, and I had to literally switch locations at work,
- 58:56Speaker 19: and I literally did get.
- 58:58Speaker 3: A restraining order against her.
- 59:00Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, okay.
- 59:01Speaker 4: I'd almost rather you have somebody sleep with your dad
- 59:03Speaker 4: than what Anna has.
- 59:05Speaker 9: Anna, thanks for calling in.
- 59:10Speaker 5: I think you win this round, too.
- 59:11Speaker 2: Totally.
- 59:11Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you.
- 59:13Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 59:13Speaker 4: Missed a part of the show this morning?
- 59:15Speaker 20: No worries.
- 59:16Speaker 5: It's all there on iHeartRadio.
- 59:18Speaker 16: Okay, there was a Reddit thread that literally blew up
- 59:21Speaker 16: into a surprisingly passionate argument. So there was one neighbor
- 59:25Speaker 16: who was complaining about strangers putting dog poop bags into
- 59:29Speaker 16: their residential trash can.
- 59:30Speaker 5: Annoying. I've done that and I feel guilty when I
- 59:33Speaker 5: do it.
- 59:33Speaker 4: But I mean, if they don't see you, it's fine.
- 59:36Speaker 20: You're out.
- 59:37Speaker 9: You don't know what to do. You're just carrying this
- 59:38Speaker 9: poop bag around. You walk past a trash can. You
- 59:40Speaker 9: throw it in. And, like, John Jay's like, eh, I
- 59:44Speaker 9: don't know. And then Pete's like, that makes me so mad.
- 59:46Speaker 9: And it, like, blew up. Like, some people are like, whatever.
- 59:48Speaker 9: It's a trash can.
- 59:49Speaker 16: Is it really that big of a deal? And then
- 59:51Speaker 16: some people are like, I'm sorry. This is not a
- 59:53Speaker 16: public trash can. This is my trash can that I
- 59:56Speaker 16: pay for. But it was like, okay, what are the
- 59:58Speaker 16: small things that your neighbor does that makes you irrationally angry?
- 1:00:02Speaker 12: Because.
- 1:00:03Speaker 16: Neighbors, I mean, like the whole neighbor relationship can be
- 1:00:06Speaker 16: pretty sensitive one because you can't escape them. They are
- 1:00:10Speaker 16: at your home, right? And it kind of blew up.
- 1:00:12Speaker 16: Like everyone was like sharing things like, you know, they
- 1:00:15Speaker 16: blow leaves in my yard.
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: And actually, that's one of my annoying things.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:00:22Speaker 13: For me, I have a debate where, and by the way,
- 1:00:24Speaker 13: if I do throw dog poop in the trash, it's
- 1:00:26Speaker 13: through the trash can that's outside on the street ready
- 1:00:29Speaker 13: to get picked up by the trash. You know, I
- 1:00:31Speaker 13: wouldn't go into someone's yard and put it where they're at.
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: Right, right, right.
- 1:00:34Speaker 13: But also, I've had a problem where I'm drinking some
- 1:00:36Speaker 13: bottled water and I see someone else's recycle bin and
- 1:00:38Speaker 13: I put stuff in the recycle bin and I have
- 1:00:40Speaker 13: horrible guilt that they're going to come out and yell
- 1:00:41Speaker 13: at me.
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: But they haven't yet. Hey, Vicki, what's your neighbor's situation?
- 1:00:47Speaker 12: Well, This lady likes to drink and use other substances.
- 1:00:53Speaker 12: And so we are sound asleep one night and all
- 1:00:56Speaker 12: of a sudden I start hearing Harper Valley PTA, this.
- 1:01:00Speaker 11: Horrible rendition of it coming over the fence. And I
- 1:01:04Speaker 11: wake my husband up and I'm like, what is that?
- 1:01:07Speaker 12: And so now the lady, our next door neighbor, is
- 1:01:09Speaker 12: called Alto because she can't sing.
- 1:01:12Speaker 11: It's absolutely horrible. And so it just keeps on and
- 1:01:16Speaker 11: keeps on and keeps on.
- 1:01:17Speaker 14: It's a long song.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Pardon?
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: That's a long song with no chorus, by the way.
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: It just kind of keeps going.
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: Oh, I know.
- 1:01:25Speaker 12: And so even now, every time she gets a little
- 1:01:29Speaker 12: bit tipsy and she's outside when the weather's.
- 1:01:32Speaker 11: Nice, we hear some song come over the fence.
- 1:01:35Speaker 15: But the worst was Harper Valley PTA.
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: That is a perfect example of what we're talking about, Vicki.
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: Thank you for calling in. Thanks for listening.
- 1:01:45Speaker 17: Oh, no problem.
- 1:01:46Speaker 15: Have a great day, guys.
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: You too. Riley, what about your neighbor?
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: Hey.
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: Hey.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: My neighbor is, like, obsessed with his grass, like, his lawn.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: And I, like, I can't even have a normal conversation
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: with this guy anymore.
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: At first.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: We were talking lawn stuff and it was fine because,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: you know, I'm a guy. I enjoy a nice yard too.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: But he like polices everyone else's lawn and makes little
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: comments here and there.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: Like he cares way too much about it.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: He literally measures his grass and keeps notes and always
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: finds ways.
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: To like tell me.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I'll say, your lawn looks good, man. He'll go, yep,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: yours could.
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: Get there too.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: I'm giving you a compliment.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: You don't got to insult my friend.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: At least you have somebody who's taking care of something
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: as opposed to... a neighbor who doesn't take care of
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: their property, right?
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: That's true.
- 1:02:51Speaker 16: Yeah, actually, there's a guy in my neighborhood who literally
- 1:02:53Speaker 16: mows his lawn every single day.
- 1:02:55Speaker 9: He is out there every single day.
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 1:02:58Speaker 16: And the wild thing is, is he lives next to
- 1:03:00Speaker 16: the guy who, like, doesn't do anything with his yard.
- 1:03:03Speaker 16: So we're always wondering, like, if he gets really irritated
- 1:03:05Speaker 16: if he's out of, like, the whole neighborhood. The guy
- 1:03:08Speaker 16: that pays the most attention to his lawn and the
- 1:03:10Speaker 16: guy that pays the least attention to his lawn live
- 1:03:12Speaker 16: right next to each other.
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: Thanks for calling in, Riley. Catherine. The little things your
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: neighbor does that annoy you. What do you got?
- 1:03:20Speaker 18: Okay, so my neighbor has a fake dog, and it's
- 1:03:24Speaker 18: one of those decorative dogs in her front yard, but she...
- 1:03:28Speaker 18: treats it like it's a real dog and actually expects
- 1:03:31Speaker 18: for everybody around her to treat it like it's.
- 1:03:34Speaker 19: A real dog as well.
- 1:03:35Speaker 18: And she named it Buddy and she moves it all around.
- 1:03:40Speaker 18: And some mornings it's like sitting by the mailbox. Then
- 1:03:44Speaker 18: the next day it'll be like by the garage. And
- 1:03:46Speaker 18: then some days... I swear Buddy is looking directly at
- 1:03:50Speaker 18: my house.
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: That is weird.
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: That is really weird.
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: That might be a little mental thing there.
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: Maybe.
- 1:03:59Speaker 18: Literally put it on people's lawns and be like, buddy
- 1:04:01Speaker 18: wants to say hi.
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: Oh my gosh.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Girl.
- 1:04:05Speaker 18: So we all just like kind of smile and wave.
- 1:04:07Speaker 18: But for some reason I've developed like this just strong
- 1:04:10Speaker 18: hatred for buddy. And last week I came home and
- 1:04:14Speaker 18: I was facing my bedroom window and I was like,
- 1:04:17Speaker 18: am I about to call the cops on a plastic dog?
- 1:04:19Speaker 18: Like I'm actually going insane.
- 1:04:21Speaker 21: Okay.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: You do kind of wonder, does she have a camera
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: in there or something like that where she's watching things?
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: Oh, I didn't even think about that.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: Oh, camera, buddy's got a camera, yeah. All right, Catherine,
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: thanks for sharing that with us.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Bizarre one.
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: Matt, what's a little thing your neighbor does that is annoying?
- 1:04:38Speaker 14: Hey, good morning.
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: So I live in Philadelphia, so I'm a little bit
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: further away from you guys, but the street that I
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: live on has public parking everywhere. And people always put
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: cones outside their house to save their parking spot. It
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: drives me crazy.
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: So do you move the cones?
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: Well, no, because I'm afraid if I move the cones
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: and then park in the spot that I'll come back
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: and my window will be smashed.
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: There will be retaliation.
- 1:05:09Speaker 8: Is it one of those roads where you can only
- 1:05:12Speaker 8: park on one side of the road? Because I used
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: to live in a house like that. And if people
- 1:05:15Speaker 8: parked in front of our house, it was so annoying
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: because we had to go and drive all the way
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: around the corner to go and park.
- 1:05:21Speaker 9: So I would put cones out.
- 1:05:22Speaker 14: It is.
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: And a lot of parking has like time.
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: So you can only park.
- 1:05:26Speaker 14: There between, you know, after 10 or whatever.
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: But my street is open 24-7 with no, it doesn't
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: need a permit or anything. So it's like super public
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: and people reserve them.
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: So how many times have you gotten a good spot
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: for the weekend and you just don't want to go
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: anywhere because you got the spot?
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: I know. Once my car is parked, I don't move
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: it at all. It's parked and it's there. Hey, Matt,
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: you living in Philadelphia, we're not in Philadelphia, but what's
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: the vibe on LeBron? Is that a very exciting thing
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: that LeBron James is playing with the 76ers? Oh, my God.
- 1:05:57Speaker 14: Especially considering how.
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: Bad the rest of the sports are doing, LeBron is
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: our savior.
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: Right on.
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: Ticket prices are skyrocketing.
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: But we're real pumped. Did you see he flies in
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: a helicopter from New York to Philly for practice every day?
- 1:06:11Speaker 14: Yes.
- 1:06:11Speaker 9: That's ridiculous.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: I saw that.
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: And when I saw that, I was like, I don't know. Like,
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: with the whole Kobe stuff, I don't know if I
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: would ever.
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: Want to go to a helicopter. That's what a lot
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: of the comments are saying. We don't want to lose you, too.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:20Speaker 9: Like, I just, it's so eerie. It's too soon.
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: Hey, Matt, thanks for calling in, man. Thanks for listening.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: Thank you, guys. Have a great one. We're going to
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: play Remember the Time, a very special edition of Remember
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: the Time. We have guests in the studio from the
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: TV show. They hit TV show on Paramount Plus, Teen Moms.
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: We have Riley and Dallas in the studio. Good morning,
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: you guys.
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: Good morning.
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: Happy to be here.
- 1:06:42Speaker 9: Not to be confused with teen moms.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: Teen moms.
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: Teen moms.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: Baseball. Teen moms.
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: This is the Kim Kardashian Produce Show. We're going to
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: get into that.
- 1:06:50Speaker 13: But also, real quick, they're going to play with us,
- 1:06:53Speaker 13: but we're going to give away the tickets to color 14,
- 1:06:55Speaker 13: Charlie XCX, 877-937-1047.
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: At the end of the game. At the end of
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: the game. So, Rich, what are the clues?
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: Okay, so we have all kinds of stuff. It's TV,
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: it's movies, it's music, it's all things pop culture just
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: mushified into a montage. Just listen and see if you
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: can figure out what year it happened, players. Let's remember
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: the time.
- 1:07:13Speaker 9: Who run the world?
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: Girls!
- 1:07:16Speaker 14: Who run this motherhood?
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: Both of these girls have broken down every single barrier
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: in their path. What an inspiration to girls all over
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: the country who are too ugly to be cheerleaders.
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: You used to call me on my cell phone.
- 1:07:32Speaker 18: St.
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: Nicholas is not coming this year.
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: Instead, a much darker ancient spirit.
- 1:07:44Speaker 11: His name is Krampus.
- 1:07:45Speaker 25: Like how a single word can make a heart open.
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: I might only have one match, but I can make
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: an explosion.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: Okay, Dallas and Riley, a couple of bonus clues for you.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: It is also the year that we populated the phrase
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: Netflix and chill. The man bun came into effect in
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: the selfie stick. So I'm going to go with you first, Riley,
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: from Team Moms.
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: 2011. 2011.
- 1:08:18Speaker 9: She was quick and confident.
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: No, you say no.
- 1:08:23Speaker 24: I think she's wrong. So I started to think that
- 1:08:26Speaker 24: with the very first clip. And then the hotline bling
- 1:08:29Speaker 24: moved it up. And then you said selfie stick. I
- 1:08:32Speaker 24: remember going around on our trip around the world.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: We took 2016.
- 1:08:35Speaker 24: So I'm going to go 2015.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: Okay. Dallas says 2015. John Jay, your move.
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: Would you hear?
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: Would you recognize?
- 1:08:42Speaker 5: Oh, man. Well, I heard the Beyonce and then I
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: heard the Krampus, which is so random. I'm going to go.
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: You said 2011. You said 2015. I'm going to go 2012. Okay.
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: John Jay says 2012. Kyle, unfuck your move.
- 1:08:58Speaker 16: Okay, I feel like I'm leaning more toward where dallas
- 1:09:00Speaker 16: was leaning you've got the drake hotline bling and then
- 1:09:04Speaker 16: the beyonce girls and i feel like hotline bling was
- 1:09:08Speaker 16: later i feel like that was a later there was
- 1:09:11Speaker 16: a whole trend where you know like people were driving
- 1:09:13Speaker 16: in the car and then hopping out of the car
- 1:09:15Speaker 16: and so i wrote down 2016 initially and that's what.
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: I'm that was my second guess Okay, Peyton.
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: Okay, yeah, that was the Pitch Perfect. I think that
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: was the first one in there. That is correct. Yeah,
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: and then Rihanna, Girls, Hotline Blink. I think that was Hero,
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: and then Krumpus. And for me, I remember doing the
- 1:09:31Speaker 8: Hotline Blink trend when I was in high school, and
- 1:09:32Speaker 8: I graduated in 2016. So I'm going 20—I put 13 first,
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: but I'm going with my gut and putting 2014.
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: Yeah, you got Pitch Perfect 2 in there. Oh, second. Drake,
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: Hotline Bling. I think, Kyle, what you were thinking of
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: might be Kiki. Oh, maybe it was Hotline Bling.
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: No, Hotline Bling was the one when you did the dance.
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 1:09:50Speaker 8: You're right.
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: Krampus in there, Fight Song, Man Buns, Selfie Sticks, Netflix.
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: We do have a winner, and it's Dallas with 2,500 points.
- 1:10:01Speaker 24: It was that trip and it was the hotline blinks.
- 1:10:06Speaker 24: I remember my kids, Sal, and they're now 14, 15.
- 1:10:09Speaker 24: I remember them rapping that.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:11Speaker 24: And they couldn't have been one. They couldn't have been,
- 1:10:13Speaker 24: you know, infants. So that helped me out.
- 1:10:15Speaker 9: Good job.
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: Congratulations. Caller 14, you get tickets to Charlie XCX right now.
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: 877-937-1047.
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Good luck and check out Team Moms on Paramount +.
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: John Jane Rich.
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: Call the show at 877-937-1047. Kyle, what do we need
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: to know today?
- 1:10:33Speaker 16: You know how Amazon somehow always seems to know what
- 1:10:36Speaker 16: you want to buy? Well, apparently they're keeping tabs on
- 1:10:38Speaker 16: you with a little shopping profile. It uses your preferences
- 1:10:42Speaker 16: to personalize what they recommend. You can actually go into
- 1:10:45Speaker 16: your settings and click the About You feature to see
- 1:10:48Speaker 16: what Amazon thinks it knows about you, but kind of trippy.
- 1:10:52Speaker 16: Thanksgiving dinner for less than $ 40 sounds impossible, right? But
- 1:10:56Speaker 16: Aldi says you can actually feed 10 people for that price.
- 1:10:59Speaker 16: Their Thanksgiving dinner includes a 16-pound turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls, cranberries, peas, veggies,
- 1:11:05Speaker 16: even a pumpkin pie.
- 1:11:07Speaker 9: No mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, or green bean casserole.
- 1:11:10Speaker 16: So depending on your family's Thanksgiving must-haves, you may still
- 1:11:13Speaker 16: be making another grocery run. But $ 40 for Thanksgiving dinner
- 1:11:16Speaker 16: sounds pretty amazing. Now, apparently dinner and a movie aren't
- 1:11:19Speaker 16: cutting it anymore for date night because couples are now
- 1:11:23Speaker 16: taking pole.
- 1:11:24Speaker 9: Dancing classes together. It is blowing up on TikTok.
- 1:11:27Speaker 16: One couple says they even skipped their traditional wedding first
- 1:11:30Speaker 16: dance and performed a pole dancing routine in front of
- 1:11:32Speaker 16: 150 guests. Now, couples that do this and swear by
- 1:11:35Speaker 16: it say it helps them communicate, build confidence and feel
- 1:11:38Speaker 16: closer together.
- 1:11:40Speaker 9: Salad & Go is back, baby. Well, almost.
- 1:11:43Speaker 16: After all those Arizona closures, the chain's original chef just
- 1:11:47Speaker 16: bought the brand and is bringing it back, starting with
- 1:11:49Speaker 16: a location on Williamsfield in Gilbert.
- 1:11:51Speaker 9: Now, here's the twist.
- 1:11:52Speaker 16: Some of those old Salad & Go locations could also
- 1:11:55Speaker 16: soon become Dutch Bros 7 Brew or Swig.
- 1:11:57Speaker 9: Instead, but we've got our Salad & Go back.
- 1:12:00Speaker 16: Arizona is suing ChatGPT. Our attorney general says it's putting
- 1:12:03Speaker 16: our kids at risk, claiming the chatbot is designed to
- 1:12:07Speaker 16: keep kids hooked without doing enough to protect them from
- 1:12:10Speaker 16: potentially harmful conversations and advice. Now she wants the company
- 1:12:13Speaker 16: to make changes and potentially pay penalties. I say anything
- 1:12:17Speaker 16: to keep our kids safe, and that's what you need
- 1:12:19Speaker 16: to know.
