- 0:02Speaker 1: And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all
- 0:07Speaker 1: in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to
- 0:11Speaker 1: God and the Father by him. Colossians 3.17 Dear Lord,
- 0:20Speaker 1: I know that there is no area of my life
- 0:24Speaker 1: that should go unreached by your power and grace. You
- 0:30Speaker 1: desire for every facet of my life to reflect your character. So,
- 0:36Speaker 1: with that in mind, I pray that you would empower
- 0:40Speaker 1: me in the small, everyday tasks to glorify you. Things
- 0:46Speaker 1: as simple as dishes, taking kids to school, and Monday
- 0:51Speaker 1: meetings can be opportunities to show the world your character.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Give me eyes to see those opportunities, and conviction to
- 1:02Speaker 1: act in accordance with your will. May everything I do,
- 1:08Speaker 1: in word or deed, be done in the name of
- 1:12Speaker 1: my Lord Jesus. In Jesus' name. Amen. Thank you for

- 1:53Speaker 3: My friends, welcome to your meditative prayer on morning gratitude.
- 1:57Speaker 3: To get the most out of your spiritual journey, use
- 1:59Speaker 3: Pray.com every day and make prayer a priority in your life.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Our goal for today's meditative prayer is morning gratitude. At
- 2:08Speaker 3: the start of this day, we just want you to
- 2:11Speaker 3: enjoy a moment with God. Close your eyes. Take a
- 2:16Speaker 3: deep breath in. Slowly breathe out. Prepare your heart to
- 2:23Speaker 3: hear a word of encouragement for this day. Now take
- 2:27Speaker 3: a moment just to pour out your adoration to God
- 2:30Speaker 3: for who He is. Sing to God. Sing in praise
- 2:35Speaker 3: of His name. Extol Him who rides on the clouds.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Rejoice before Him, for His name is the Lord. A
- 2:44Speaker 3: father to the fatherless, a defender of widows is God
- 2:48Speaker 3: in His holy dwelling. May the name of the Lord
- 2:52Speaker 3: Be praise. Whatever the day ahead of you holds, you
- 2:56Speaker 3: can be thankful for it. Some days you wake up
- 3:00Speaker 3: with a rigid schedule to follow. Other days are free
- 3:03Speaker 3: of obligations and open to whatever you desire. One thing
- 3:07Speaker 3: you must always hold present is this. No matter what
- 3:10Speaker 3: is done this day, let it be done for the
- 3:13Speaker 3: glory of God. If you follow this simple mindset, you
- 3:17Speaker 3: will always be thankful at the end of your day
- 3:20Speaker 3: for everything you do Now this is not to say
- 3:26Speaker 3: this is an easy way to live. Let us now
- 3:29Speaker 3: reflect for a moment on the times your actions were unbecoming.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Think on those situations where human desires got the best
- 3:38Speaker 3: of you. Recent moments and circumstances in life where you
- 3:43Speaker 3: made ungodly choices. Gather all those decisions and place them
- 3:48Speaker 3: in the hands of Jesus. Confess to the Lord your
- 3:52Speaker 3: struggles with human nature. And now take a moment to
- 3:57Speaker 3: dwell on previous days filled with the goodness of God.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Remember how it felt to act in accordance to the
- 4:04Speaker 3: will of Jesus. How amazing it was to go about
- 4:08Speaker 3: your day with God's presence by your side. Thank God
- 4:12Speaker 3: for the ability to have fellowship with Him. Give thanks
- 4:17Speaker 3: for the moments when the Holy Spirit ministered into your life.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Thank God for the blessings of past seasons of goodness
- 4:25Speaker 3: and accomplishments and for those yet to come. And thank
- 4:29Speaker 3: him for the strength to make godly choices and to
- 4:33Speaker 3: keep making them. Do not forget, God is present and
- 4:39Speaker 3: he's listening to you. He desires for you to live
- 4:42Speaker 3: a life of righteousness and goodness. Jesus wants to help
- 4:47Speaker 3: you live your days according to His word, to bless
- 4:51Speaker 3: the work of your hands and make you prosper. So
- 4:55Speaker 3: let them pray to God and ask for His will
- 5:00Speaker 3: to be done. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you
- 5:04Speaker 3: to seek the wisdom of the Bible, to spend time
- 5:08Speaker 3: reading and understanding God's directions for a better life. Remember,
- 5:14Speaker 3: everything you say and everything you do should all be
- 5:18Speaker 3: done for Jesus. And in all you do, you are
- 5:22Speaker 3: to give thanks to God the Father through Christ. My friends,
- 5:26Speaker 3: decide today to experience life in a fulfilling and satisfying way,
- 5:32Speaker 3: in a way where your actions will bring glory to God.
