- 1:13Speaker 1: healthier than the tampon sitting up in there for a
- 1:17Speaker 1: while or getting home. Yeah, because you're supposed to change
- 1:21Speaker 1: your Maxi pad like every two hours or some shit.

- 1:44Speaker 2: Man mm hm.
- 1:46Speaker 1: And I remember one day we was outside at recess
- 1:48Speaker 1: sixth grade and he was like, I can say you're

- 3:00Speaker 1: That's like a uh something we have to pay for
- 3:03Speaker 1: for our entire lives down there, Yeah, forty of our
- 3:05Speaker 1: lives and then if you have a daughter, yeah, for
- 3:08Speaker 1: the rest of our lives exactly.
- 3:11Speaker 2: It just seems unfair. I don't feel like other countries
- 3:13Speaker 2: require that of their women to pay for sanitary Americans.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It's probably some places that don't even.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Have Yeah, they just free bleep. That's the thing in

- 3:47Speaker 1: online with people holding the paths up to the yes.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and you got it up against your vagina.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I've been using cups for a while now, so I
- 3:57Speaker 1: use the paths when I go to side, this is,
- 3:58Speaker 1: this is. But anyway, I used to pass it and
- 4:03Speaker 1: I used the cups you know, during the day. But
- 4:05Speaker 1: you do have to be careful with them nam cups
- 4:07Speaker 1: because you got to position it right. So if y'all
- 4:09Speaker 1: got a crooked kouchie on the inside, it ain't gonna work.
- 4:13Speaker 2: It ain't gonna work.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Yeah, some people got.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Somebody finally passed out on the floor trying to pour
- 4:19Speaker 2: that cup down to it.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Oh my guy, what.
- 4:25Speaker 2: You do the weekend?
- 4:27Speaker 1: What the hell did I do this weekend? You know,
- 4:31Speaker 1: the weekends be a blur. A lot of the times
- 4:36Speaker 1: I went, I did work out. I went to hopilates
- 4:39Speaker 1: and hot yoga, went to my mama house, sat there
- 4:43Speaker 1: for about four hours on Sunday catching up on life stuff,
- 4:49Speaker 1: and that's about it. Just worked out and grocery shopping.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I probably spent about four hundred dollars on groceries. And then, oh,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I didn't hang out with my homegirl on Saturday. And
- 4:58Speaker 1: I told her explicitly that I was not eating out
- 5:03Speaker 1: because I got groceries at the house. And then she
- 5:06Speaker 1: late out, so she was like, well, I'll treat you
- 5:08Speaker 1: because we ain't do nothing for your birthday. Right, because
- 5:11Speaker 1: I was out of the country. So we go eat
- 5:14Speaker 1: out at this new restaurant and my job. I have
- 5:16Speaker 1: been fasting from sugar and bread since I got back
- 5:20Speaker 1: from Costa Rica, and I broke my bread fast because
- 5:23Speaker 1: they brought this fucking loaf to the table. The waitress
- 5:26Speaker 1: were saying how great it was. It was like the
- 5:28Speaker 1: feature item, like appetizer at this restaurant, this new place
- 5:31Speaker 1: in Charleston. My homegirl bragging about how good it was
- 5:35Speaker 1: when she took her boyfriend to that restaurant for his
- 5:37Speaker 1: birthday just a couple of weeks ago. Girl, that bullshit
- 5:40Speaker 1: ass fucking bread bitch. I could have made my mom
- 5:42Speaker 1: he sandwich like I wanted the day before, broke my fast,
- 5:46Speaker 1: and I'm like, you know, you're really not a good friend, bitch,
- 5:48Speaker 1: because if you know I'm doing this, why did you
- 5:50Speaker 1: even order that bread?
- 5:52Speaker 2: Right?
- 5:53Speaker 1: When you really like trying to change and do something different,
- 5:56Speaker 1: you kind of gotta really be by yourself.
- 5:58Speaker 2: You do have to isolate, yes, man, because why the fuck?
- 6:02Speaker 1: And then the bill. All we had was tuna, tartar
- 6:06Speaker 1: and twelve oysters, two drinks, one hundred and sixty four
- 6:10Speaker 1: dollars and bread and bread ten dollar bread and ended
- 6:16Speaker 1: up at my house. I'm cooking crab legs because we
- 6:19Speaker 1: still ain't full now, right, we got to my house.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I cooked crab legs, scallops and shrimp. So she came
- 6:27Speaker 1: to my house and ate my fucking girls, ate my
- 6:31Speaker 1: hair groceries up. Yeah, and we watched from So that's
- 6:35Speaker 1: what I did. That was Saturday.
- 6:36Speaker 2: I need to watch this show because I keep seeing
- 6:39Speaker 2: people making like just hilarious. She'd be going chat with
- 6:44Speaker 2: some video her.
- 6:47Speaker 1: That video was funny as hell because it's the truth.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I ain't got nothing to tell you about my weekend,
- 6:53Speaker 2: so we can just move on. I ain't do ship,
- 6:55Speaker 2: so we could just delis.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Let's get in a stupid internet news then, so I
- 7:03Speaker 1: seen this headline. It says woman was deeply moved by
- 7:08Speaker 1: the story of a missing pregnant woman that she decided
- 7:12Speaker 1: to take matters into her own hands by dating her
- 7:17Speaker 1: murderer to get information about her case. So imagine, like
- 7:22Speaker 1: there's a headline about a pregnant woman missing, police have
- 7:29Speaker 1: deemed her probably you know, somebody's probably done something to her,
- 7:31Speaker 1: or actually she is dead, right, and this woman then
- 7:35Speaker 1: starts dating the murderer to solve the crime. So it says.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Kelsey Shooling Skaling was a twenty one year old pregnant
- 7:43Speaker 1: woman who disappeared in Pueblo in Pueblo in February twenty
- 7:48Speaker 1: thirteen after traveling to meet her boyfriend Don de Lucas.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Is this real?
- 7:54Speaker 1: Who the fuck is Don de Lucas? For years, the
- 7:58Speaker 1: case remained unsolved and deeply troubled the community. In twenty sixteen,
- 8:03Speaker 1: Lauren Shure became personally invested in finding answers and took
- 8:08Speaker 1: an unusual step by guiding excuse me, what the fuck?
- 8:11Speaker 1: By building a relationship with Lucas to gain his trust
- 8:15Speaker 1: and learn more about what happened. Over time, Shore gathered
- 8:21Speaker 1: critical information, including Lucas admitting he was the person seen
- 8:25Speaker 1: on the surveillance moving Kelsey's abandoned car. She later turned
- 8:30Speaker 1: everything over to investigators and became a key witness in court.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Her testimony helped strengthen the case in twenty twenty one,
- 8:38Speaker 1: I mean, and in twenty twenty one when Lucas was
- 8:41Speaker 1: convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life without parole.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So yeah, Even with the conviction, kelsey remains have never
- 8:51Speaker 1: been found. Leaving part of the story unsolved.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Damn, that's crazy to put your own life on the line.
- 8:59Speaker 2: And and you have Johnny because you know she was
- 9:02Speaker 2: sleeping with him.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Yeah, because how he's not about to get vulnerable with
- 9:05Speaker 1: you and just start talking about Yeah I heard on
- 9:07Speaker 1: that camera.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's wow. She kind of nuts a little bit, right.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Yes, bitch, you're weird. But she's a girl's girl. Sorry,
- 9:18Speaker 1: ultimate girls girl, super girl's girl. This is next level
- 9:22Speaker 1: taking one for the team, and.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Next level nosy is that nosy?
- 9:29Speaker 1: She's a detective at heart. She's just in the wrong field.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Well, she need to join the TESK force because her
- 9:35Speaker 2: name was hiring her.
- 9:36Speaker 1: The FBI was hiring.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Right, get paid for it, because that is the next level. Damn.
- 9:42Speaker 2: All right, so listen to this one.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Hey. Somebody commented and said, FBI females be investigating, period.
- 9:53Speaker 2: So listen to this. A Long Island family is counting
- 9:56Speaker 2: their blessed blessings after eleven year old Jamal Johnson, a
- 10:00Speaker 2: boy with autism from Valley Stream, was safely united with
- 10:04Speaker 2: his loved ones after making his way to JFK without
- 10:08Speaker 2: anyone knowing. According to officials, Jamal ordered an uber by
- 10:12Speaker 2: himself and traveled to JFK before being spotted standing in
- 10:15Speaker 2: TSA security line at Terminal one around six thirty am.
- 10:19Speaker 2: This nigga was on the way to Japan while ticket
- 10:25Speaker 2: he know he was. He probably just walked straight up
- 10:28Speaker 2: to the TSA line because you don't You can have
- 10:29Speaker 2: a ticket on your phone, you don't have to go
- 10:31Speaker 2: to the counter.
- 10:32Speaker 1: But I'm saying, did he purchase a ticket to Japan?
- 10:34Speaker 2: Like? How? So? I did?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Read like he has autism? Right? So first of all,
- 10:41Speaker 1: he had an uper black pull up at his parents' house,
- 10:44Speaker 1: right whose credit card is connected to the uber that
- 10:46Speaker 1: he's using? And I want to know, did he just
- 10:49Speaker 1: go to the airport like he's flying somewhere and didn't
- 10:51Speaker 1: purchase a ticket, or did he actually have a ticket
- 10:54Speaker 1: and about to go through TSA to fight in Japan?
- 10:57Speaker 2: Well, don't say nothing about him having a plane ticket,
- 11:00Speaker 2: but I wouldn't doubt it. This nigga different, right.
- 11:04Speaker 1: He's smart as hell? You know this? When I when
- 11:08Speaker 1: I think about shit like this is almost like especially autism,
- 11:11Speaker 1: people with autism, because everybody pretty much has some characteristics, right,
- 11:17Speaker 1: everything is deemed some type of something. Now, so that's
- 11:20Speaker 1: why it's a spectrum. But imagine that him in another lifetime,
- 11:29Speaker 1: was it was a Japanese.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Man, Right, he's just trying.
- 11:33Speaker 1: His spirit is longing for Japan because out of all places,
- 11:38Speaker 1: Like what were you watching on TV? What made you
- 11:42Speaker 1: some anime? Right? You just fucked my family. I'm about
- 11:47Speaker 1: to fly to Japan at eleven.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, that's kind of wild, but it's kind of cute.
- 11:52Speaker 1: You remember the movie Leave the World Behind?
- 11:55Speaker 2: No, I've never watch it, damn.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Okay, So it was one of the first movies on
- 12:01Speaker 1: Michelle and Barack Obama's production studios, and Leave the World
- 12:08Speaker 1: Behind it's like one of them dooms Day, end of
- 12:10Speaker 1: the World type ship.
- 12:11Speaker 2: But mars Hasha Salam, I don't know how to say
- 12:16Speaker 2: his name. Uh, it's a main.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Yes, I believe that's yeah, I believe that's the accurate.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I do do that.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Yeah. So remember the little the White family, their daughter,
- 12:28Speaker 1: It's like she couldn't wait to get the fuck away
- 12:30Speaker 1: from them. So when she got real fucked up, she
- 12:32Speaker 1: went to like somebody had like a doomsday type house girl.
- 12:36Speaker 1: She was over there watching friends, not giving a fuck
- 12:38Speaker 1: what was happening to her with her family, Like I
- 12:42Speaker 1: guess I don't know. Some people don't need tribalism. I
- 12:46Speaker 1: don't need no fairy. That baby said, I'm getting the
- 12:49Speaker 1: hell up out of here.
- 12:50Speaker 2: She just was watching Friends, starting from episode one.
- 12:56Speaker 1: All Right, y'all, so we all love spin that spin that. Okay,
- 13:00Speaker 1: that is the summer banger at this point.
- 13:04Speaker 2: But I was home. Let me just say this. I
- 13:07Speaker 2: was in a car with my little old boom because
- 13:10Speaker 2: we ain't booze no more. But we was in the
- 13:12Speaker 2: car and I put that song on. I was like
- 13:15Speaker 2: pointing at him. I was like, spinach it, and he
- 13:17Speaker 2: literally turned music down and remixed it to a save
- 13:20Speaker 2: that shit. And I mean, he just was coming up
- 13:23Speaker 2: with all the reasons I need to save my money
- 13:25Speaker 2: and ryman.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I seen somebody do it like a remixed save that shit.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Oh maybe that's what he was singing in because I
- 13:35Speaker 2: don't know what happened.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Women arrested after posting a TikTok to Young miamis spend
- 13:42Speaker 1: that showing off Louis tan bags she stole worth seven
- 13:47Speaker 1: thousand dollars ah. The connection between Janis Downs and Young

- 14:09Speaker 1: June twelfth, twenty twenty six, for shoplifting high end designer goods,

- 14:19Speaker 1: Investigators linked Downs to the crime after discovering a TikTok
- 14:23Speaker 1: video of her mother, Dannis Wiley, holding up sol and
- 14:27Speaker 1: Luxury handbags while a viral Young Young Miami song reference
- 14:31Speaker 1: in boosting and scamming played in the background. Surveillance footage
- 14:34Speaker 1: from a Seattle Norstrom captured Downs wearing what a brook?
- 14:42Speaker 1: What is a b u r q qa? What's that?
- 14:45Speaker 1: To conceal her identity while she and an accomplice distract
- 14:50Speaker 1: opoy I don't know, distracting employees to steal two Louis
- 14:56Speaker 1: Tan bags were almost seven thousand dollars. Oh is that
- 15:02Speaker 1: m birock.
- 15:05Speaker 2: So.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Shortly after the heighst the Solar merchandise was showcased on
- 15:08Speaker 1: Down's Instagram account, while her mother posted the video future

- 15:17Speaker 1: and fifteen thousand dollars ail God Damn. Her charges include
- 15:22Speaker 1: first degree organized retail theft, as well as an outstanding

- 15:31Speaker 1: This arrest comes just months after she was released from
- 15:34Speaker 1: a previous thirty three month prison sentence for multi store
- 15:39Speaker 1: Lululemon theft operation.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Girl, you was in jail for thirty three months, and
- 15:44Speaker 2: now you came home and went right back. Did you
- 15:46Speaker 2: have you did they teach you nothing in jail because she.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Man, Especially if you go to the fast girl, you
- 15:52Speaker 1: will come up.
- 15:52Speaker 2: With more skills knowledge as at least you would at
- 15:56Speaker 2: least have the tense enough to know not to post
- 15:59Speaker 2: the bags, post the money that you made from selling
- 16:02Speaker 2: the bags. If you want to post something, they can't
- 16:04Speaker 2: you know.
- 16:05Speaker 1: And the boosters get on my nerves because y'all, she
- 16:08Speaker 1: will steal two bags for seven thousand and be trying
- 16:10Speaker 1: to get the same price you paid for him. I
- 16:12Speaker 1: mean didn't pay for him the same price for the product.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Where you could go in the store. Why would I
- 16:17Speaker 2: buy it from you?
- 16:18Speaker 1: I could get right sure at this point, bird Greens,
- 16:21Speaker 1: why do people have to post everything on the fucking internet. Man,
- 16:25Speaker 1: just dumb, just dumb.
- 16:27Speaker 2: You belong to jail, you belong back. You ain't been
- 16:30Speaker 2: at home three months, so you already back for some
- 16:33Speaker 2: dumb as shit. Change disappointed in you spend that shit

- 16:52Speaker 1: All these goddamn dumb bitch stories. Listen. We'd be asking
- 16:55Speaker 1: for dumb bitch stories every week, damn there. And we
- 17:00Speaker 1: have a whole another email box that I know in
- 17:03Speaker 1: the beginning of the podcast, like that is the email
- 17:06Speaker 1: address that we would share for dumb bitch stories. And
- 17:10Speaker 1: we haven't been checking it. So we got a hella
- 17:14Speaker 1: dumbitch stories. So today's episode is dedicated to the dumb bitches.
- 17:19Speaker 1: This is a dumb Bitch Files.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Here we go. We'll be right back, all right, y'all,
- 17:31Speaker 2: We're back with the dumb bitch Files. Like so these
- 17:35Speaker 2: are some of these. It was really good, all right,
- 17:37Speaker 2: So listen to this one. Hey, Aja and Tam, I
- 17:40Speaker 2: swear I'm not making this up. I've been seeing my
- 17:43Speaker 2: therapist for almost two years. She helped me through anxiety,
- 17:46Speaker 2: losing my dad, and honestly, she's the first therapist I've
- 17:50Speaker 2: ever trusted. About six months ago, I started dating this guy.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Things have been going really well. He knows I'm in
- 17:57Speaker 2: therapy and he always encouraged me to keep going. A
- 18:01Speaker 2: few weeks ago, during one of my sessions, I was
- 18:04Speaker 2: telling my therapist about him. I mentioned that he sings
- 18:07Speaker 2: on the praise team at his church. Okay, without thinking,
- 18:12Speaker 2: she smiled and said, well does Marcus still? Then she
- 18:17Speaker 2: immediately stopped.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Talking, bitch co playing with me like me, and said.
- 18:24Speaker 2: All hold on, it's getting good. She got really quiet
- 18:27Speaker 2: and said I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. Now
- 18:31Speaker 2: my ears done perked up. I asked, wait, you know Marcus.
- 18:36Speaker 2: She looked uncomfortable, and she told me she couldn't discuss
- 18:38Speaker 2: anyone she might know outside of therapy.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Yo, you already mentioned them. Is why did you do that?
- 18:43Speaker 2: Like you say his motherfucker name, bitch, I ain't never
- 18:45Speaker 2: name dropped a nigga. The rest of the session felt weird,
- 18:50Speaker 2: I guess. So when I got home, curiosity got the
- 18:54Speaker 2: best of me. I searched the church's Facebook page. Guess
- 18:57Speaker 2: who I see in the anniversary picture from last year,
- 19:00Speaker 2: my therapist. She's standing right beside my boyfriend, not in
- 19:03Speaker 2: the same room, not in the same role, standing together, smiling.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Since then, I can't stop thinking about it. Every time
- 19:12Speaker 2: I tell her something about my relationship. I wonder if
- 19:14Speaker 2: she's thinking, girl, if you only knew, every time she
- 19:18Speaker 2: tells me to communicate it with him better, I wonder
- 19:20Speaker 2: if she's secretly judging me because she knows him in
- 19:23Speaker 2: real life. Then last Sunday, my boyfriend casually mentioned that
- 19:26Speaker 2: a woman from church that had asked about me, but
- 19:29Speaker 2: he couldn't remember her name. Y'all, what if that was
- 19:33Speaker 2: my therapist? Who the fuck else would it be? Just
- 19:36Speaker 2: don't about you? I asked him if they were close?
- 19:40Speaker 2: He said, not really, everybody at church? No, everybody now, sir.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I don't think my therapist did anything unethical on purpose.
- 19:50Speaker 2: She hasn't shared any of his business, and she immediately
- 19:53Speaker 2: caught herself. But I also don't know how I'm supposed
- 19:55Speaker 2: to keep opening up when I know she sees this
- 19:57Speaker 2: man in real life. Do I a new therapist? Do
- 20:02Speaker 2: I tell her this is bothering me? Or am I
- 20:04Speaker 2: making something out of nothing? What y'all think? What do
- 20:08Speaker 2: you think?
- 20:09Speaker 1: No, her the this is this is equivalent to remember
- 20:11Speaker 1: on when I told y'all how the bitch came at
- 20:13Speaker 1: my page and like the picture of my nigga on
- 20:15Speaker 1: my page, and I asked him who the fuck was this?
- 20:18Speaker 1: Because why I was just random, some random girl and
- 20:20Speaker 1: come to find out with somebody he used to fuck with.
- 20:23Speaker 1: To me, that is equivalent to you just throwing his
- 20:26Speaker 1: name out there right quick, Oh Marcus?
- 20:29Speaker 2: What you are a lad drop?
- 20:33Speaker 1: Yes? And see the thing I don't like about like therapy,
- 20:36Speaker 1: right these people go to school for many years, and
- 20:40Speaker 1: if you're not a good therapist, you could fuck with
- 20:42Speaker 1: people's heads. They have the ability and the skill set
- 20:45Speaker 1: to do that. And I really feel like that is
- 20:50Speaker 1: the beginning of some type of she's called She's she's
- 20:55Speaker 1: intentionally trying to cause that girl mental anguish.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Because and I ain't the way I would have been
- 21:01Speaker 2: able to just move on talking like bitch, you ain't
- 21:03Speaker 2: say just like you ain't just say Marcus. I would
- 21:06Speaker 2: even be like, oh, so tell me what you know
- 21:07Speaker 2: about Marcus.
- 21:08Speaker 1: And you have to know if she's never mentioned to
- 21:12Speaker 1: her therapist that her boyfriend or the guy she's dating
- 21:14Speaker 1: name is Marcus, that means Marcus probably lied to talk
- 21:18Speaker 1: about some random lady at the church. She said, she's
- 21:22Speaker 1: assuming it was a therapist.
- 21:23Speaker 2: She didn't say, but I guess, you know what, their
- 21:26Speaker 2: boyfriend and girlfriend. So it could be other people at
- 21:28Speaker 2: the church who know that y'all are dating. But I
- 21:33Speaker 2: would automatically assume it was her too. But then he
- 21:37Speaker 2: said they were standing. She said they were standing right
- 21:39Speaker 2: next to each other in the picture, so that wouldn't
- 21:42Speaker 2: be random. He probably know exactly who the woman like
- 21:44Speaker 2: that is. You know, girl, we would have a.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Whole therapy session and n ain't bit y'all do a
- 21:48Speaker 1: charge back. We would have a whole therapy session talk
- 21:53Speaker 1: about Marcus and how the fuck you know him, and
- 21:55Speaker 1: I would definitely do a chargeback on my debit card
- 21:57Speaker 1: after that session.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Would you keep her as a therapist because she said.
- 22:02Speaker 1: That, No, No, she's definitely playing games. Absolutely not fired.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I help her through, like she's the only therapist she's
- 22:08Speaker 2: ever trusted. You know, it's hard to get a therapist trust.
- 22:11Speaker 1: She can't trust this therapist. First of all, this therapist
- 22:13Speaker 1: is too far in her life. If you're mentioning somebody,
- 22:16Speaker 1: I never told you this man's name. Mm hmm, okay,
- 22:20Speaker 1: what to me, it's like stalking, That's what I'm feeling, Like, Mitchell,
- 22:25Speaker 1: are you were you asking Marcus about me? How do
- 22:28Speaker 1: you know I'm talking about Marcus? How do you know
- 22:31Speaker 1: idea about this?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Exactly? Yeah, says something about her. I had to, right,
- 22:38Speaker 2: because how would she know that that's him? And it's
- 22:41Speaker 2: a lot of niggas that's seen on the praise team
- 22:43Speaker 2: at churches at different churches.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Right, Damn Marcus is a praise team, Yeah for sure,
- 22:52Speaker 1: with a big booty, big booty Marcus home Gray Marcus.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Well, you know, if you're man, We're sorry. We ain't
- 23:01Speaker 2: joking on your man.
- 23:04Speaker 1: But the part about the communication, now, so what if
- 23:06Speaker 1: Marcus found out that she was a therapist, befriended her
- 23:13Speaker 1: to then manipulate the girlfriend. Befriended the therapist to manipulate
- 23:21Speaker 1: the girlfriend, like telling them personal things like I'm in
- 23:24Speaker 1: I'm in therapy, talking about my relationship and talk about
- 23:27Speaker 1: all type of other things. Right, but you have knowledge
- 23:29Speaker 1: about my relationship, may it be true or false? Right
- 23:33Speaker 1: that I'm not privy to. So now you're telling me
- 23:37Speaker 1: you need to communicate more with Marcus and shit like that,
- 23:42Speaker 1: or you need to do this with you know, not Marcus.
- 23:44Speaker 2: But yeah, but I mean, like because of what he
- 23:47Speaker 2: may be saying to you outside of my therapy session. Yeah,
- 23:51Speaker 2: that's a slippery slope, girl, I don't know. Maybe it's
- 23:53Speaker 2: time to find a new therapist after that. That's one
- 23:57Speaker 2: of the two, which one you value most?
- 23:59Speaker 1: That's your suspect. But I would not be able to
- 24:01Speaker 1: leave either one of them alone until I get to
- 24:04Speaker 1: the bottom of emotion. Yeah, I need to know, bitch,
- 24:08Speaker 1: I need to know.
- 24:10Speaker 2: But I don't think you should leave Marcus either, because
- 24:12Speaker 2: he sounded like a nice guy here on the praise
- 24:13Speaker 2: seem at church.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Not if he using your damn therapist to manipulate you, like,
- 24:19Speaker 1: because how they had to have had a conversation.
- 24:23Speaker 2: They had to, but they fucking for me I needed
- 24:30Speaker 2: because I don't think you're therapist. You go ahead, and
- 24:33Speaker 2: girl going there crying and hollering.
- 24:36Speaker 1: She should have did it that day when when she
- 24:38Speaker 1: said Marcus.
- 24:40Speaker 2: A question, I would have we wouldn't have been able
- 24:43Speaker 2: to move on no zero per.
- 24:47Speaker 1: All right, so here's when I found uh yeah, oh,
- 24:54Speaker 1: sorry for the final advice. Yes, yeah, leave Marcus fired
- 25:00Speaker 1: that will not leave Marcus fire at therapist, But not
- 25:03Speaker 1: until you get to the bottom of the shit.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Because maybe there's something like you know, honest about.
- 25:09Speaker 1: It, a coincidence?
- 25:11Speaker 2: No, yeah, perhaps, well you find it. When you find out, come.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Back and tell us, right, all right, hold, hold, all right, Hey, Tam,
- 25:24Speaker 1: bam and aj y'all can call me the dumb bitch
- 25:28Speaker 1: because I really thought I was smarter than everybody involved.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I worked for a large company. In about eight months ago,
- 25:36Speaker 1: I started messing with one of my co workers, boy
- 25:43Speaker 1: too close for Comfort JAB. At first, it was just
- 25:46Speaker 1: flirting in the break room, then lunches, and then eventually
- 25:50Speaker 1: we started dating. We agreed from day one that nobody
- 25:54Speaker 1: at work would know, because neither one of us wanted
- 25:57Speaker 1: the drama. Okay, could know? Okay? Well, well, somehow this
- 26:03Speaker 1: man kept getting promoted. First he became team lead, then
- 26:09Speaker 1: about two months ago, he got promoted to department manager.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Once that happened, he technically became my boss's boss. I
- 26:19Speaker 1: asked him if we should tell HR because it was
- 26:22Speaker 1: starting to feel risky. He kept saying, relaxed, We've grown.
- 26:25Speaker 1: As long as we keep it professional, ain't nobody going
- 26:27Speaker 1: to know? Fast forwards. Last Friday, around three o'clock, I
- 26:32Speaker 1: get an email from HR asking me to come upstairs
- 26:34Speaker 1: because I leave before I leave for the day. My
- 26:37Speaker 1: stomach immediately immediately dropped. Oh, I know what I'm feeling shy.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I walk not saying look, not saying I was fucking
- 26:44Speaker 1: the coworker, but I laugh. I just didn't get call
- 26:48Speaker 1: it HR bitch. Ill was living with one of my
- 26:51Speaker 1: supervisors once for a few months until my apartment was
- 26:54Speaker 1: ready in Columbia. Anyway, I walk in and there's two
- 27:01Speaker 1: HR ladies and one director and the director sitting there
- 27:05Speaker 1: looking real serious. One of them asked, can you tell
- 27:08Speaker 1: us about your relationship with Michael now, y'all? I panicked.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I said, we don't have a relationship. We just worked together.
- 27:17Speaker 1: She looked at me, dead in my face and said,
- 27:19Speaker 1: you sure, and my dumb ass doubled down. I mean,
- 27:24Speaker 1: we've hung out in groups before. But that's it's what
- 27:27Speaker 1: she told them. She nodded. She nodded, opened a folder
- 27:31Speaker 1: and slid about twenty printed pages across the table. Tam, tam.
- 27:38Speaker 1: It was our text messages, not just regular messages, good
- 27:41Speaker 1: morning baby, vacation pictures him talking about coming over after work,
- 27:45Speaker 1: me telling him to stop leaving his hoodie at my apartment,
- 27:49Speaker 1: even one text where I said, don't be looking at
- 27:51Speaker 1: me in the meeting before somebody figures us out. I
- 27:54Speaker 1: wanted girl, I wanted to floor. I wanted the floor
- 27:58Speaker 1: to open and swallow me.
- 28:00Speaker 2: You've ever been table.
- 28:03Speaker 1: She said. Apparently, when we got promoted, they audited his
- 28:07Speaker 1: company phone because their were complaints about favoritism. He had
- 28:11Speaker 1: been texting me from his work phone this whole time,
- 28:14Speaker 1: even though I repeatedly told him not to. Here's the part,
- 28:18Speaker 1: here's the part that's really fucked up and messing with me.
- 28:21Speaker 1: After they questioned me, they brought him in. He admitted
- 28:24Speaker 1: we were in a relationship. I denied it. So now
- 28:28Speaker 1: HR thinks he's the honest one and I'm the liar.
- 28:32Speaker 1: It's true, right, right, Uh, yeah, it's true. I wasn't fired,
- 28:38Speaker 1: but I'm under investigation because they said I was dishonest
- 28:42Speaker 1: during an internal inquiry. Michael keeps apologizing say saying he
- 28:47Speaker 1: never thought they'd pull the phone records. Now he's asking
- 28:51Speaker 1: me to tell HR lie because I panicked, and I
- 28:53Speaker 1: was and I was scared. The problem is, I don't
- 28:56Speaker 1: even know if I can trust him anymore because he
- 28:58Speaker 1: put us in this position to begin with, So tell
- 29:02Speaker 1: me what should I do now?
- 29:04Speaker 2: What? You can't blame him, bitch? You joy, you did?
- 29:07Speaker 2: You were willing participant in this relationship.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you just you just gotta update your resume, sweet pea.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Tell you. I'm gonna tell you right now, girl. And
- 29:19Speaker 1: it's tough out here because people be getting laid off
- 29:22Speaker 1: left and right. But God might just bless you. This
- 29:24Speaker 1: might be divine redirection, bitch, and you just stuck Michael's
- 29:28Speaker 1: dick in peace. Y'all aren't worry about getting caught. And
- 29:32Speaker 1: he makes more on that job.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Than not letting him go. There, gonna let you go
- 29:36Speaker 2: exactly right.
- 29:37Speaker 1: So he's in a better position there. He's your boss, boss, okay,
- 29:41Speaker 1: so we know he makes more than you. You need
- 29:43Speaker 1: to go find your new job if you want to
- 29:45Speaker 1: be with Michael, because if you're under you know, some
- 29:49Speaker 1: type of preliminary investigation right now, they probably just try
- 29:54Speaker 1: to find your replacement and you're just gonna work your
- 29:56Speaker 1: waft death.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Dy't on this message. You might already be fired then
- 30:09Speaker 2: from a new job or she listening unemployed.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Cuean shit man I'm sorry.
- 30:17Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Hope. It's a new job that you love.
- 30:23Speaker 2: If you come, you can.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Come check out email for us. We got a little small,
- 30:26Speaker 1: little budget, real small. You need somebody, so he would
- 30:30Speaker 1: have co worked and we talked back. We got you
- 30:32Speaker 1: and it ain't nobody ever here for you to fuck,
- 30:35Speaker 1: so you ain't.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Got nothing to worry about. Damn man. Thank you for
- 30:41Speaker 2: sharing about it all the time. Workplace romances.
- 30:46Speaker 1: You spend a lot of time there, and if she's a.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Value uh you know, employee, they might not let her go,
- 30:53Speaker 2: especially if everybody don't know about it.
- 30:55Speaker 1: You know, I'm gonna tell y'all if y'all ever worked
- 30:57Speaker 1: in a corporate setting, everybody be fucking if you are
- 31:00Speaker 1: working in the office, you are at work, you know,
- 31:03Speaker 1: eight to twelve hours a day. A lot of times
- 31:05Speaker 1: people be having those work conventions and conferences. And she's
- 31:08Speaker 1: like that they already know who they fucking in That
- 31:10Speaker 1: corporate paid for a hotel, they renting a car together,
- 31:14Speaker 1: and they cheating on it. Listen, it goes down in
- 31:18Speaker 1: corporate offices and a lot of them own coke, so
- 31:22Speaker 1: they just whood it up. Mofucker's having a good old time,
- 31:28Speaker 1: Like girl, when I used to work at a certain bank,
- 31:31Speaker 1: I used to work in the customer service department, like
- 31:34Speaker 1: and it was two bitches got caught fucking in the
- 31:37Speaker 1: office each other. Yes, two women, two white ladies, and
- 31:42Speaker 1: they these aren't One was a butcher and the other
- 31:45Speaker 1: one I didn't even know she would.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I think I.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Told you about this, this ship before. Had the ladies
- 31:48Speaker 1: us to be putting her titties on my back. Yeah,
- 31:51Speaker 1: like you coming over doing some coaching shit and you
- 31:53Speaker 1: got your fucking titties on people's back like she was.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Sally had wrapped in us. And when I found out
- 31:58Speaker 1: she was fucking the damn neighborhood butch from the job,
- 32:01Speaker 1: I was like, whole time, whole time, she was really
- 32:04Speaker 1: sexually harassing us.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Yes she was.
- 32:06Speaker 1: So it wasn't just my back. Her titties would be
- 32:08Speaker 1: on you like you be scooting up in your chair, like, god,
- 32:10Speaker 1: damn bitch, back back, can you give me fifty feet.
- 32:15Speaker 2: The whole time I'm.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Getting molested in at work, bitch, I was not paying
- 32:19Speaker 1: enough for that. Put this shit on the IMAX. The
- 32:24Speaker 1: fuck I.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Needed to get paid more.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Telling me about that, Yeah, there was fuck they got fucked.
- 32:30Speaker 1: They got caught fucking in the empty office for sure.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Did they get like somebody walked in on them or
- 32:36Speaker 2: it was on camera, like someone caught them, like there
- 32:39Speaker 2: was a.
- 32:40Speaker 1: You know, I don't remember because I wasn't with the
- 32:42Speaker 1: company at the time when they got fired, but it
- 32:45Speaker 1: was shortly I got This is when I worked there,
- 32:47Speaker 1: when I was in college. I got fired like for
- 32:49Speaker 1: attendance and shit, and the bitch was to put her
- 32:52Speaker 1: titties on my back. The day they were coming to
- 32:54Speaker 1: fire me, I already knew I was fired. I got
- 32:57Speaker 1: into a fucking car accident and this is I couldn't
- 32:59Speaker 1: be late for work anymore. And they fired me after
- 33:02Speaker 1: for being late. And I kind of knew because I
- 33:05Speaker 1: was already on a pip, so I kind of knew
- 33:06Speaker 1: they were coming. And this is a gody.
- 33:10Speaker 2: God don't play they were coming another ways.
- 33:15Speaker 1: God don't play about me, because anytime somebody tried to
- 33:17Speaker 1: play with me and like on a real like some
- 33:20Speaker 1: shit be happening. What they asked.
- 33:22Speaker 2: I'll be looking at all the niggas that I gave
- 33:24Speaker 2: a shot and they did me real dirty. None of
- 33:26Speaker 2: them are having good luck. Yeah, they didn't have to
- 33:29Speaker 2: finger right, So.
- 33:32Speaker 1: I knew they were coming to fire me, right, So
- 33:36Speaker 1: I was like, oh, let me just gather myself. They
- 33:38Speaker 1: was like no, no, no, we just want to talk right quick.
- 33:41Speaker 1: So y'all take me in the hallway to tell me
- 33:42Speaker 1: I'm being fired to then walk me back in there
- 33:45Speaker 1: in front of everybody to get my stuff when I
- 33:47Speaker 1: was trying to get my shit initially.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Right.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Shortly thereafter, that bitch got fired for fucking in the office. Right,
- 33:54Speaker 1: good ugly ass, ugly white bitch with her titties on
- 33:58Speaker 1: my back right said he was a fine ass blonde bombshell.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Get you martle ass.
- 34:05Speaker 1: These is fifty year old women fifty at the time,
- 34:10Speaker 1: they still got a fuck is different.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Child, And it's for our listener who sitting in her
- 34:18Speaker 2: dumb bitch story. Don't fuck nobody else on the job.
- 34:22Speaker 2: It's too close on comfort.
- 34:24Speaker 1: It's too close. So get your new job.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Go, get your new job. Work nobody I wanted to
- 34:30Speaker 2: fuck on my job. The job work is always like
- 34:34Speaker 2: either women and gay men.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Yeah, like you do here so and you know, the
- 34:40Speaker 1: office life is like heavy rotation of new meat, especially
- 34:45Speaker 1: for the men. Usually a lot of women in the
- 34:47Speaker 1: office so for men like it's a great place to
- 34:49Speaker 1: be because you just got your pick of the litter.
- 34:52Speaker 1: But I used to always like, why fuck would you?
- 34:54Speaker 1: I know exactly how much money you make. No, I'm
- 34:59Speaker 1: not fucking you. I fuck with the boss, not you.
- 35:03Speaker 2: That all right? The next sturry, Hey, AJ and Tam.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I've been sick to my stomach for almost two weeks,
- 35:12Speaker 2: and I need somebody outside of my circle to tell
- 35:15Speaker 2: me if I'm over reacting. My best friend and I
- 35:18Speaker 2: have known each other since college. We've been friends for
- 35:21Speaker 2: almost fifteen years. About three years ago, we started a
- 35:25Speaker 2: business together. It took off way faster than we expected.
- 35:29Speaker 2: We split everything fifty to fifty and built this thing
- 35:31Speaker 2: from the ground up. I genuinely looked at her like
- 35:35Speaker 2: a sister. A couple of weeks ago, we hired a
- 35:37Speaker 2: new assistant. She's young, sweet and honest, and has become
- 35:41Speaker 2: cool with both of us well. One evening, she called
- 35:44Speaker 2: me after work, sounding nervous. She said, she said, I
- 35:48Speaker 2: don't know if if I should even be telling you this,
- 35:51Speaker 2: but if it were in your.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Shoe, but if I were, I'm sorry.
- 35:55Speaker 2: She said, I don't know if I should even be
- 35:57Speaker 2: telling you this. But if I were in your shoes,
- 36:00Speaker 2: I want to know. Apparently, while I was out of
- 36:03Speaker 2: town for a conference, my business partner had been talking
- 36:06Speaker 2: about me in the office. Not little stuff either. She
- 36:10Speaker 2: told the assistant that I'm lazy, that I only show
- 36:13Speaker 2: up for fun parts of the business, that she's real
- 36:16Speaker 2: reason we've been successful, and that without her I'd be
- 36:19Speaker 2: probably back working a regular nine to five. The assistant
- 36:22Speaker 2: said she didn't say anything because she didn't want to
- 36:26Speaker 2: get involved, but she felt guilty after hearing it for
- 36:29Speaker 2: almost a week. I honestly didn't believe her. I figure
- 36:32Speaker 2: maybe she misunderstood. Then she sent me voice recordings. Turns
- 36:37Speaker 2: out our own security cameras record audio. Tell when I
- 36:44Speaker 2: tell y'all, hearing your best friend talk about you and
- 36:46Speaker 2: her own voice will change you. She laughed about how
- 36:49Speaker 2: I think I'm the face of the company. She said,
- 36:51Speaker 2: I spend too much time trying to build my personal
- 36:54Speaker 2: brand while she's actually running the business. Then she said
- 36:57Speaker 2: something that hurt me more than anything. She said, if
- 37:00Speaker 2: she ever leaves, she'll realize nobody's coming for her. She'll
- 37:05Speaker 2: realized nobody's coming for her. They're coming for what we built.
- 37:09Speaker 2: I cried, what does that mean. I don't know. If
- 37:14Speaker 2: she ever leaves, she'll realize nobody's coming for her. Not
- 37:22Speaker 2: because I think she's right, but because I never knew
- 37:24Speaker 2: that's how she saw me. Here's the crazy part. The
- 37:27Speaker 2: very next morning, she came into the office with coffee
- 37:30Speaker 2: for both of us, hugged me and asked me about
- 37:32Speaker 2: my trip and told me she missed me. Dang, I said,
- 37:36Speaker 2: they're acting normal knowing what I heard. Now Here's why
- 37:40Speaker 2: I'm writing, y'all. Nobody knows I have those recordings. She
- 37:43Speaker 2: has no idea. A part of me wants to confront her,
- 37:47Speaker 2: part of me wants to quietly buy her out of
- 37:49Speaker 2: the business and never speak to her again. And another
- 37:52Speaker 2: part keeps me wondering has she always felt this way
- 37:56Speaker 2: or what she just venting after a stressful week? Would
- 38:00Speaker 2: y'all be able to forgive your best friend after hearing
- 38:02Speaker 2: something like this?
- 38:06Speaker 1: So you got two people in a business, and only
- 38:11Speaker 1: the people in the business understand the different aspects of
- 38:15Speaker 1: the business and nuance. Right, So if somebody's in an
- 38:20Speaker 1: office venting about their perspective and perception of what's been
- 38:25Speaker 1: transpiring in an office, the person who's hearing it she'ld consider,
- 38:31Speaker 1: and I really feel like, yeah, she was right for
- 38:33Speaker 1: telling the other person needs to confront the other person
- 38:40Speaker 1: for sure, and it's a conversation.
- 38:42Speaker 2: I think you should definitely talk to your business partner
- 38:48Speaker 2: because you said y'all were best friends, and y'all been
- 38:50Speaker 2: best friends for fifteen years, so you definitely should go
- 38:57Speaker 2: to her and find out why she's feeling the way
- 39:02Speaker 2: she feels about you and what y'all can do to
- 39:04Speaker 2: move forward, especially because you have y'all making money together
- 39:10Speaker 2: and y'all have a relationship.
- 39:13Speaker 1: But sometimes just like a a like a like a
- 39:18Speaker 1: romantic relationship, people stay together because of obligations a lot.
- 39:23Speaker 1: So if they didn't have those obligations, what they still
- 39:25Speaker 1: be together. So now you started a business with somebody,
- 39:29Speaker 1: you got all the things, and this can actually relate
- 39:31Speaker 1: to our business relationship, right, you got all the things together.
- 39:36Speaker 1: You can't it's not that easy to just walk away.
- 39:38Speaker 1: So sometimes all you can do is vent and talk shit.
- 39:42Speaker 1: That's all you can do, because what can you do
- 39:45Speaker 1: otherwise because things get really messy. We're courtshit, Okay, Now
- 39:51Speaker 1: somebody can buy out. That could be an option. I
- 39:54Speaker 1: actually have a Homegirl, her and her friend. They didn't
- 39:56Speaker 1: even get started with their business, and before they god started,
- 40:02Speaker 1: things already started looking crazy, like one person felt like
- 40:05Speaker 1: they was doing the most while this one was chilling,
- 40:08Speaker 1: and it really was. That's like, that's just again like
- 40:10Speaker 1: a romantic relationship, there's ebbs and flow, right, But if
- 40:14Speaker 1: you're in a situation where somebody is doing one hundred
- 40:17Speaker 1: percent of something, it shouldn't be one hundred percent. And
- 40:20Speaker 1: it's not going to ever be fifty to fifty either, right,
- 40:22Speaker 1: So if I'm doing seventy and you doing the thirty
- 40:25Speaker 1: right now, it should switch up at some point.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I think, you know, and I think based on
- 40:30Speaker 2: even with us, you know, it will go back and forth,
- 40:34Speaker 2: you know. I feel like there's times where AJ has
- 40:38Speaker 2: been taking the brunt of the work, and then times
- 40:41Speaker 2: I feel like I was doing more, and then there
- 40:43Speaker 2: were times where we felt we would be very angry
- 40:46Speaker 2: with each other. I feel like we're in a better
- 40:48Speaker 2: place now. I mean, we six years in at this point,
- 40:52Speaker 2: as long as fuck, yeah, and so I can get it.
- 40:56Speaker 2: How shit can get rocky when it comes to friendship
- 40:59Speaker 2: and business, and it can be hard trying to navigate
- 41:03Speaker 2: both and remaining in both. It really can be very difficult.
- 41:08Speaker 1: But we had a whole episode about that, like remember
- 41:11Speaker 1: the guys, what's the guys from the pizza the pizza shop.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Oh, this just is a marriage. Yeah, and just like
- 41:20Speaker 2: people get divorced slim and husky, Yeah, just like people
- 41:24Speaker 2: get divorced in real life.
- 41:26Speaker 1: It's well not in real life and in romantic relationships.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Sometimes some businesses do run their course and there has
- 41:33Speaker 1: to be some type of some type of separation. So
- 41:37Speaker 1: I really feel like she was venting and it could
- 41:40Speaker 1: be true to her.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Right, So talk to her, you know, definitely talk to
- 41:50Speaker 2: her and see what's up.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Or buy her out or let her buy you out.
- 41:57Speaker 1: That's what I was getting at my homegirl. So her
- 41:59Speaker 1: friend and she really didn't. She wasn't trying to like
- 42:04Speaker 1: sell her portion of business. They hadn't really even started yet.
- 42:07Speaker 1: They had their initial investment like together in a pot,
- 42:11Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, And her friend had more
- 42:14Speaker 1: money than her, so her initial investment was higher. But
- 42:19Speaker 1: if we're friends and we're starting a business, that shit
- 42:21Speaker 1: shouldn't matter. So they both ended up walking away from
- 42:25Speaker 1: It's just up in the air now, ain't nobody doing
- 42:28Speaker 1: nothing but nothing at this point, it's just fucked up.
- 42:34Speaker 2: And I hate that through Yeah, especially if it's something
- 42:37Speaker 2: that you had that was good. But good luck to
- 42:41Speaker 2: you with that girlfriend, because I mean, business, friendship and
- 42:44Speaker 2: money is a slippery slope and it can get ugly
- 42:47Speaker 2: or it could be something very beautiful. So you just
- 42:49Speaker 2: have to discover how you want to navigate it and
- 42:53Speaker 2: move forward.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Hey, from my personal experience with a few different things,
- 42:58Speaker 1: starting businesses, doing different things, I suggest people don't even
- 43:01Speaker 1: do business with family or friends. I don't suggest it,
- 43:05Speaker 1: I actually suggest, and I don't know how you do
- 43:08Speaker 1: a thing by yourself or how you vet. You still
- 43:12Speaker 1: need to vet your family, You still need to vet
- 43:14Speaker 1: your friends to determine if this person would be a
- 43:17Speaker 1: good mate for this business. Because just because you have
- 43:20Speaker 1: a good friendship that does not translate into business. It
- 43:26Speaker 1: just doesn't agree. Everybody doesn't have the same work acumen
- 43:31Speaker 1: or business acumen. Everybody doesn't have the same work ethic.
- 43:34Speaker 1: You know, you just got to know your strength, that
- 43:36Speaker 1: person strength, everybody's strength and weaknesses. You got to work together,
- 43:41Speaker 1: and you got to be able to communicate and excuse me,
- 43:44Speaker 1: not even communicate comprehend. And I feel like in any relationship,
- 43:49Speaker 1: if you are no longer comprehending what that person is saying,
- 43:54Speaker 1: and they're not comprehending what you're saying, that is really
- 43:57Speaker 1: the end of a relationship, because y'all not listening to
- 43:59Speaker 1: each other no more. So this, I mean, could it
- 44:03Speaker 1: could be that she has talked to her about something before.
- 44:06Speaker 2: M h, but she said, I mean, she was surprised
- 44:11Speaker 2: to hear it. You know, hear the audio and hear
- 44:14Speaker 2: her say these things. So maybe she hasn't, you know,
- 44:18Speaker 2: like or maybe you just didn't hear her when she
- 44:21Speaker 2: was saying. It's trying to express the well, good luck
- 44:26Speaker 2: to your girlfriend. Right, it's in and tell us because
- 44:28Speaker 2: it's old too, y'all still got the business. Listen, all right,
- 44:42Speaker 2: let me see what we got. This is the last one, y'all.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Where we at, We're round on the dot. Let's go
- 44:46Speaker 2: all right, y'all, this is the last one.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Okay. It says, please keep me anonymous, because if anybody
- 44:54Speaker 1: in my life here is this, they're going to know
- 44:55Speaker 1: as me. I need advice because I genuinely don't know
- 45:02Speaker 1: what's wrong with me. I'm thirty two years old. And
- 45:05Speaker 1: I've always dated men. I've never questioned my sexuality, never
- 45:10Speaker 1: had a question a woman, never been kissed, never even
- 45:13Speaker 1: kissed one. If somebody would have asked me six months
- 45:16Speaker 1: ago if I was gay, I would have laughed, Oh shit.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Three years ago, I met this girl through work and
- 45:22Speaker 1: we instantly became best friends. We're together all the time.
- 45:27Speaker 1: We text from We text from the moment we wake
- 45:30Speaker 1: up until we go to sleep. We travel together. People
- 45:35Speaker 1: always joke that we're an old married couple. I never
- 45:38Speaker 1: thought anything about it because that's my best friend. A
- 45:41Speaker 1: few months ago, she started dating this guy. At first,
- 45:45Speaker 1: I was happy for her, and then I started noticing
- 45:47Speaker 1: how irritated I was every time she talked about him.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Oh shit, Well, she'd cancel plans because she was with him.
- 45:55Speaker 1: I'd be in a bad mood the rest of the day.
- 45:58Speaker 1: If she didn't answer my text but posted that she
- 46:01Speaker 1: was out with him, I'd feel sick to my stomach.
- 46:04Speaker 1: I kept telling myself I was just being a jealous friend.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Then one night we were on vacation together. We had
- 46:10Speaker 1: gone out, had a couple of drinks, and got back
- 46:13Speaker 1: to the hotel. Wait what Oh, they was on vacation together.
- 46:18Speaker 1: She fell asleep on my shoulder while we were watching TV. Girl,
- 46:21Speaker 1: what bitch? I never fell asleep with my friends shoulder
- 46:24Speaker 1: unless we've been on the airplane together.
- 46:28Speaker 2: My friends shoulder.
- 46:30Speaker 1: While watching TV.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Mm hmm, y'all gay, gay, right, you wanna lay on
- 46:37Speaker 2: your sister's shoulder? Yes?
- 46:41Speaker 1: I would, Yeah, I mean, but I haven't in a
- 46:43Speaker 1: long time, not as an adult for real. I don't know,
- 46:46Speaker 1: all right.
- 46:49Speaker 2: I feel like that's where the story is handed.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Exactly, y'all, gay, Remember a little episode of them girls,
- 46:55Speaker 1: your friends' kids. She was like, Mama's be gay, all right.
- 47:01Speaker 1: So we had gone out, I had a few drinks
- 47:03Speaker 1: and got back to the hotel. She fell asleep on
- 47:05Speaker 1: my shoulder while we were watching TV. I wanted to
- 47:09Speaker 1: kiss her, y'all, Not because I was drunk, but because
- 47:11Speaker 1: I was curious, because I wanted to. I said that exactly.
- 47:16Speaker 1: I sat there for almost an hour trying to figure
- 47:18Speaker 1: out what was wrong with me. Since then, it's only
- 47:21Speaker 1: getting worse. When she hugs me, my heart races. When
- 47:24Speaker 1: she tells me she loves me, I have to remind
- 47:26Speaker 1: myself she means as a friend. I catch myself wondering
- 47:30Speaker 1: what I'd be like, would it would be like if
- 47:32Speaker 1: she looked at me the way she looks at her boyfriend.
- 47:37Speaker 1: The crazy part is I don't even think I'm attracted
- 47:39Speaker 1: to women. I'm attracted to her. I've never looked at
- 47:43Speaker 1: another woman like this. I've even tried going on double
- 47:47Speaker 1: dates with men, hoping these feelings will go away, But
- 47:50Speaker 1: all I do is compare them to her. She must
- 47:53Speaker 1: have got some masculine ass energy, because what she has
- 47:59Speaker 1: apps no idea. She tells me everything about her relationship,
- 48:03Speaker 1: ask me for dating advice, and keep saying she can't
- 48:06Speaker 1: wait for me to find my person because then we'll
- 48:09Speaker 1: both be in a relationship together. Every time she says it,
- 48:13Speaker 1: I feel like my heart breaks a little. I would
- 48:16Speaker 1: never tell her how I feel because she's straight, and
- 48:19Speaker 1: I would never want to make her uncomfortable to risk
- 48:21Speaker 1: losing her losing our friendship. But I also don't know
- 48:24Speaker 1: how to keep pretending I'm okay when every conversation feels
- 48:28Speaker 1: like I'm secretly grieving something I never had. So my
- 48:32Speaker 1: question is, do y'all think it's possible to fall in
- 48:35Speaker 1: love with one person without changing your entire sexuality or
- 48:40Speaker 1: have a been lying to myself about who I am
- 48:42Speaker 1: the whole time. And if you were me, would you
- 48:46Speaker 1: tell your best friend the truth? Or would you take
- 48:48Speaker 1: the secret to your grave? Girl, I'm not you.
- 48:51Speaker 2: I don't know, bitch. That was too much. Girl?
- 48:57Speaker 1: What weird?
- 49:00Speaker 2: Like?
- 49:00Speaker 1: So I wonder if, like does her friend have like.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Like, it's not weird, She's not weird.
- 49:05Speaker 1: She's just when I say weird, it's not like real weird,
- 49:08Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like, I don't mean I'm
- 49:10Speaker 1: not calling her like she's a weirdo. That's not what
- 49:13Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm just like, how does that happen? Though?
- 49:16Speaker 2: Yeah? Because the weird part is like you never being
- 49:22Speaker 2: gay and then fall in love with this female friend
- 49:27Speaker 2: but not ever liking any other women, just in love
- 49:30Speaker 2: with her. What do why? I don't know. I've never
- 49:34Speaker 2: had to happen because I love my friends, but I
- 49:36Speaker 2: ain't never want to lie smash them, they take them down.
- 49:42Speaker 1: So I wonder how they start, Like, how does how
- 49:45Speaker 1: does the relationship start? I have met, you know, females
- 49:49Speaker 1: women friends in my adult life, right like my home
- 49:52Speaker 1: girl Ryan. She was the first person I met when
- 49:54Speaker 1: I moved to Saint Louis. I literally met this bitch
- 49:56Speaker 1: in the club and got her phone number, Like I
- 49:58Speaker 1: don't I can't even remember how we started talking. I
- 50:00Speaker 1: was in there with my homegirl who came to visit
- 50:03Speaker 1: me from out of town, and I can't even remember
- 50:06Speaker 1: how we ended up exchanging numbers. Girls shut up, And
- 50:09Speaker 1: she's a gemini, so that's probably it was just an
- 50:11Speaker 1: energy thing. Her birthday a few days after mine, and
- 50:15Speaker 1: she was the first person with a first female I
- 50:17Speaker 1: met in Saint Louis and then I, you know, met
- 50:19Speaker 1: other women through her. But yeah, we met in the
- 50:23Speaker 1: fucking club and I'm like, yeah, I just moved here
- 50:26Speaker 1: that I don't know nobody. Girl give me a number,
- 50:28Speaker 1: Like I don't have a problem making friends new friends,
- 50:33Speaker 1: but to then like meet some I'm giving this an example,
- 50:37Speaker 1: like you meet a person organically in that way, and
- 50:41Speaker 1: then conversation with this person then turns into you like
- 50:45Speaker 1: liking them intimately. And it's the same sex.
- 50:47Speaker 2: That she had.
- 50:50Speaker 1: I always feel like people had to have you have
- 50:53Speaker 1: to already be having these feelings, maybe not for her,
- 50:57Speaker 1: but like some type of homo eroticism and homo erotic
- 51:01Speaker 1: like feelings about the same sex, she said.
- 51:04Speaker 2: She said if you would have asked her six months ago,
- 51:06Speaker 2: she would have told you no.
- 51:10Speaker 1: That's because maybe she wasn't being honest even when she
- 51:13Speaker 1: said no. Because maybe that's why I always say people
- 51:15Speaker 1: be gay to mind m they just have Yeah, they
- 51:19Speaker 1: haven't been in the like the situation or the it
- 51:23Speaker 1: just hasn't come up for them to actually act on it.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I remember this girl who I was in high school with.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Hey girl, she always be telling my best friend how
- 51:34Speaker 1: I actually always knew I was gay because I remember
- 51:37Speaker 1: we were sitting at the fucking lunch tatem when she
- 51:39Speaker 1: was looking at me. I'm like, bitch, you a dyke,
- 51:41Speaker 1: like just fucking with her, but yes, whole time, whole
- 51:44Speaker 1: time because I could feel her energy when she looked
- 51:48Speaker 1: at me, and it felt like how a man looks
- 51:50Speaker 1: at me. I could feel her. I could feel that
- 51:54Speaker 1: masculine energy off of her. So that's why I'm like,
- 51:56Speaker 1: maybe her friend has some masculine energy. But so I
- 52:00Speaker 1: guess some gay women are attracted to femininity, right, so
- 52:03Speaker 1: not even but maybe she's the one. Maybe she's the
- 52:06Speaker 1: more masculine one in her friend is like the super
- 52:08Speaker 1: feminine woman and that's what she's attracted to maybe.
- 52:14Speaker 2: I don't know. I need to see these bitches.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Me too, right, and we need illustration, Hey girl ask
- 52:21Speaker 1: such and such. Can you please send us some illustration
- 52:25Speaker 1: we used to see?
- 52:26Speaker 2: How y'all look?
- 52:26Speaker 1: Because best friend pat your battye?
- 52:30Speaker 2: So would you tell her or would you take it
- 52:31Speaker 2: to the grave? I would never tell her. I would
- 52:34Speaker 2: never tell Sally.
- 52:35Speaker 1: She might have to stop being that girlfriend, man, because
- 52:37Speaker 1: you're not be honest with yourself or her and then
- 52:40Speaker 1: it's breaking your heart.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you're killing yourself.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Is that not how fatal attraction shit starts?
- 52:47Speaker 2: I don't know, but I had some homegirls. Well I
- 52:50Speaker 2: feel like their best friend was gay for them because
- 52:53Speaker 2: once they're getting for them, yeah, like they start being
- 52:56Speaker 2: mad and mean to them and stuff like that. I've
- 52:58Speaker 2: seen that happen to at least two women that I know,
- 53:00Speaker 2: Like they would be with their female friend all the time,
- 53:03Speaker 2: and when they got a man and they start sharing
- 53:05Speaker 2: their time with their man, the other female friend would
- 53:09Speaker 2: be acting like all crazy, like trying to start fights
- 53:12Speaker 2: with the nigga and stuff like that.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Y'all. This has happened to me in real life, now
- 53:17Speaker 1: that I think about it. I had a friend I
- 53:21Speaker 1: had a friend and we are stole like we like
- 53:24Speaker 1: family because we grew up together from real young but
- 53:28Speaker 1: some super weird shit transpired in our like early twenties
- 53:35Speaker 1: that she never gave me a good enough explanation for now,
- 53:41Speaker 1: I got a boyfriend. My boyfriend knows her too at
- 53:44Speaker 1: the time, right, we all know each other. And again,
- 53:48Speaker 1: this is a friend from elementary damn near, I'm listening somebody.
- 53:55Speaker 1: I never checked my voicemails. It'd be months before I
- 53:57Speaker 1: check my voicemails. I check my voice and I'm like,
- 54:01Speaker 1: I'm listening. It's somebody fucking on my voicemail. Is somebody
- 54:05Speaker 1: physically fucking or getting a pussy eight on my voicemail?
- 54:08Speaker 1: Is what I was hearing. So I kept playing it,
- 54:11Speaker 1: kept playing it, kept playing, Like is that so and so?
- 54:16Speaker 2: So?
- 54:16Speaker 1: I lit my boyfriend here it because he knows this
- 54:20Speaker 1: person very well. They are actually family. I just go ahead,
- 54:23Speaker 1: go ahead and throw that in there. So I said,
- 54:25Speaker 1: listen to this. Does that sound like so and So?
- 54:29Speaker 1: He was like, Yeah, that's that, that's her ass, that's her.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Sure it sounds like his cousin. You. I wouldn't want
- 54:36Speaker 2: to hear my cousin.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Needed somebody to see, like I needed somebody to confirm
- 54:41Speaker 1: that I'm not crazy. And on the thing, she like, hey,
- 54:45Speaker 1: head talk to her, and she said, you want to
- 54:47Speaker 1: talk to her, talk to her. This is what she's saying.
- 54:51Speaker 1: So when I called to confront her about it, because
- 54:53Speaker 1: I ain't up texting bitch now, I'm gonna call you.
- 54:56Speaker 1: So when I call asked her about it, you know
- 54:58Speaker 1: what her explanation wants. This is now twenty years ago.
- 55:02Speaker 1: At this point fifteen years ago, she said, you would understand.
- 55:08Speaker 1: I'm like, what would I not understand? Like, can you
- 55:11Speaker 1: explain to me why you're fucking on my voicemail? Ma'am?
- 55:14Speaker 1: She told me I would never understand, and I still don't.
- 55:21Speaker 2: But you're right now.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I was like, to me, I would never understand, and
- 55:25Speaker 1: she never explained to me. She never denied that being
- 55:28Speaker 1: her telling me.
- 55:29Speaker 2: She fucking one of your niggas on there? Or was she?
- 55:32Speaker 1: I haven't known. I thought I think she was fucking
- 55:34Speaker 1: her nigga on it. Because the weird thing is I
- 55:37Speaker 1: had just seen them like at the grocery store, like together.
- 55:41Speaker 1: I don't know if they was like married at the time.
- 55:43Speaker 1: These people are so together too. I don't know if
- 55:45Speaker 1: they was married at a time or not, but I
- 55:48Speaker 1: remember seeing them like a few weeks prior, So in
- 55:52Speaker 1: my mind, I'm thinking maybe her nigga might have said
- 55:54Speaker 1: some little slick shit, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 55:56Speaker 1: you got some men who'll be trying to play with
- 55:57Speaker 1: their women self esteem been a bad bit since we
- 56:01Speaker 1: was kids, Okay. I don't feel like the nigga she
- 56:04Speaker 1: married to deserves her, Okay, So maybe he was fucking
- 56:10Speaker 1: with her, like like you you see me, right, you
- 56:13Speaker 1: with your girl, my friend? You see me out. Maybe
- 56:17Speaker 1: he said something to her and that's why she's saying hey,
- 56:20Speaker 1: and she said, you want to talk to her, talk
- 56:21Speaker 1: to her, talk to her. Why he eating that pussy
- 56:22Speaker 1: on my voicemail that happened in real life. So I
- 56:29Speaker 1: don't know if she wanted me. I don't know, because
- 56:32Speaker 1: there's not a layer to this shit that I won't
- 56:35Speaker 1: even get into it, because I mean, no, I just
- 56:38Speaker 1: can't you know. But yeah, so I don't know. I
- 56:41Speaker 1: don't know if she was I don't know what the
- 56:43Speaker 1: fuck that was about. And like she said, I will
- 56:45Speaker 1: never understand, and I still fucking don't bitch because I.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Wouldn't been like, help me understand.
- 56:51Speaker 1: I said that. I said that, I said, I said
- 56:54Speaker 1: all right, I said, okay, we just got off the phone.
- 56:56Speaker 1: But I definitely said, well, help me understand, Like, what
- 56:58Speaker 1: the fuck that's you though?
- 56:59Speaker 2: Right?
- 57:00Speaker 1: She just said you won't understand, and I had this
- 57:05Speaker 1: little piece. I have heard about her fucking with girls before.
- 57:10Speaker 1: She has never said that to me. Left that lay out,
- 57:13Speaker 1: this is year, this is still now years after this point, right,
- 57:17Speaker 1: So then when I heard that, it wasn't even years after.
- 57:20Speaker 1: It might have been like a year or two after.
- 57:22Speaker 1: That then made me think about the voicemail.
- 57:26Speaker 2: Like she probably drunk too when she did it. And
- 57:28Speaker 2: then she was shame when you.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Call her girl, I don't know what the fuck, but
- 57:35Speaker 1: get off my voicemail, bitch with this shit, and I
- 57:38Speaker 1: don't want your nigga. I can't hear you be muted.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Damn you hear me say nothing?
- 57:52Speaker 1: Not just now you said what?
- 57:53Speaker 2: No, we ain't offered this lady, no advice though, girl, my.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Bad, Like I don't forgot that got there? What the oh? No, yeah,
- 58:08Speaker 1: you gotta girl, you gotta get out of there, because
- 58:13Speaker 1: if it's I did kind of right, if it's breaking
- 58:16Speaker 1: your heart. Does Stow have to deal with this person
- 58:21Speaker 1: in any capacity, in the friendship capacity, and you know
- 58:23Speaker 1: you're actually in love with her, and you want to
- 58:25Speaker 1: see if something is actually there. You need to be
- 58:29Speaker 1: honest with yourself and possibly with her, or maybe at
- 58:31Speaker 1: least be honest with yourself so you can get out
- 58:33Speaker 1: the friendship or maybe change your mind about the friendship.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Because this just doesn't sound good.
- 58:39Speaker 2: But I don't think like she because how would you
- 58:41Speaker 2: dissolve the friendship without you know, outing yourself.
- 58:47Speaker 1: You just start being a bitch and acting like that
- 58:51Speaker 1: person did something to you. That's what people usually do
- 58:53Speaker 1: instead of actually discussing actual problem. Just create some shit
- 58:58Speaker 1: out of thin air. I don't know how else she
- 59:01Speaker 1: would be able to, or she could just, I don't know,
- 59:04Speaker 1: just slowly start not communicating. I don't know how people.
- 59:09Speaker 1: I just always think that type of energy is weird anyway.
- 59:12Speaker 2: I kind of think, what would I do if I
- 59:13Speaker 2: fell in love with one of my homegirls? Yeah, no,
- 59:17Speaker 2: shade y'all. I love y'all beautiful people, But I just
- 59:21Speaker 2: I know where that puss have been at. I know
- 59:24Speaker 2: where the body's at. Yeah, all the bodies.
- 59:29Speaker 1: Damn, that's how you do your friends.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, you're just not that they have
- 59:35Speaker 2: like bad guys, but you just know, right, you don't
- 59:38Speaker 2: need to know all the sexual partners of the next persh. Yeah, yeah,
- 59:42Speaker 2: you know, Like so I it.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Is kind of different because you're putting your Yeah, it's.
- 59:47Speaker 2: A lot going on, and I don't need to know.
- 59:49Speaker 2: I already know where that thing being, you know, So
- 59:51Speaker 2: it's just kind of weird.
- 59:54Speaker 1: But so you can have high mileage, I just can't
- 59:58Speaker 1: know who's been driving.
- 59:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I just don't know they got his owners. Yeah.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Oh no, that's so difficult one for me because I
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: don't because I love them. I don't want to lose
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: my best friend, right, I don't want to lose my
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: best friend because we have a beautiful relationship. But I
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: also don't want to keep breaking my heart every day
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: knowing that I'm romantically in love with my friend.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: That's not your friend. You that's not at this point,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: that's your lover in your mind, You're not that's not
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: your friend, because how do you fall in love with
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: your friend that was never your friend?
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: But shouldn't everybody you fall in love be your friend first?
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: We like to say that, right, But don't you feel
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: so betrayed by these niggas when they don't When they
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: do you terrible. They do shit that your friend would
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: never do. Right, they're really a boyfriend, that's it. They're
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: like a significant other. They're not really a friend per se.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Right, But I do think that you should explore sexuality
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: more and get to know who you are, because you're
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: saying like you're not gay, but yes you are.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Really you gain't a mind, you no gay shit yet?
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: She just like her friend right now.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: But I mean, maybe you need to explore that, but
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: not with your friend. Maybe you need to just explore
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: who you are right now and kind of take your
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: friend out of the question. Because you said she got
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: a man, so why you even try to fuck that up? Right?
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: She got a new boo, so she's not. I think
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: if she was romantically into you, she wouldn't have got that. Nigga,
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: y'all haven't been on all these vacations. Girls be eating
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: each other Couchi's on vacations all the time.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: Put that rumor out there because the niggas already think
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: that's what be happening on all girls' trips, and really
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: they's getting fucked on the canoe in Jamaica by something
