- Malcolm: You rob your boss. You hold your boss at gunpoint contractually. You have Big 30 block the door like a football lineman and you just, and then you flaunt said jewelry that you stole on social media. Who made this plan? Was anybody using their brain on this plan, bro? Did you not think, did we not, first of all, did we just think Gucci was just going to keep it peeing and just be like, nah, bro, this is how the street go. Bro, Gucci, how old is Gucci? He has to be ... Thomas: All camera. Gucci 46 I believe. I just checked. Malcolm: Bro, that man is 46 years old and you think he was just about to keep his mouth shut? And be like, A.M. or S.I. go. Thomas: Yeah. Malcolm: Bro if I'm Gucci, and I hate to have these type of conversations, this is like pop the balloon type conversations, but it's just like, if I'm Gucci bro, I'm pushing 50, you think you're about to rob me at gunpoint, take all my chains, take all my jewelry, and I'm about to just be like nah bro, that's just how the street stuff go. That's the code. No. I will have a written report to Cash Patel, to the FBI the next business day bro. Are you kidding me? Thomas: You Malcolm: At this age in my life? Thomas: If people talk about 2006, Gucci wouldn't have let it slide. But 2006, what people don't know is Gucci Mane back in the day was dealing with genuine psychosis. Like he was clinically going through mental troubles that he spoke about allegedly. I say allegedly because I haven't looked deep into his own explanation on this, but he had to get medication. He said he would black out and he would do things and he just wouldn't remember what he did and he would have these fits. So like that psychosis is real. That is what they want to do to black people in America and they have. And if you don't believe that, open up a book, man. You think black people just learn how to get their hands on cocaine and make crack? Like, come on, you think they just figured that out and just did that and went overseas? Or went to Columbia, not overseas, or wherever the stuff come from. I don't know. I don't work for, you know, whoever brings the stuff over here. But it's like Gucci Mane is a father. I think his most recent recent child was born in 2023. He's a businessman. He's legit. He's already beat a ton of cases. He's already unfortunately had to take a life that we know of before. Like the man is 46. He's been through a lot. He's just trying to as far as I know, as far as I can see on the outside, I don't know his personal life, but it seemed like he's trying to like do the do the right thing and stay legit. So a lot of people saying, oh, he need to get it back in blood. He need to blah, blah, blah, man. Come on. Come on. That just doesn't make sense. He's pushing 50. And this isn't even about who told or whatever. People calling him a snitch, people putting pictures of him with other rappers that people think are snitches and stuff. Man, I don't care who told. If someone robs you, especially someone that you think you cool with, that y'all working together, that's ridiculous. And what you supposed to You supposed to go kill that person? You supposed to go rob like... It's a dumb conversation, bro. It's a dumb conversation. Malcolm: I get it, bro. I also don't want to overstep and try to understand everything because I do understand a lot of this is about how you're raised, being a product of your environment, just the type of circumstances and situations you were brought up. Some people don't have a choice but to live this life. for that, obviously the goal is hopefully to be able to get you, your family, people you care about out of that situation so you don't have to keep looking over your shoulder every day. like I said... Rather, like said, I can't sit here and say that I've lived that life or been immersed in that life ever. Like I've seen perspectives of it. have people that have, you know, I know people that have kind of like been more integrated in that space and kind of like came up in that space. I haven't. So I don't want to insert myself and try to understand every single thing that they're thinking because obviously we don't think the same because we haven't seen the same things, had the same experiences. However, when you reach a certain threshold, bro, bro, you are rich. famous rapper, you're hot, got people, eyes are always on you bro. We just have to think. As a dad, as his pops bro, to co-sign on this bro, you're supposed to have the wisdom and the guidance and the mentorship to pour into your son no matter how famous and big he get bro. As a father bro, that is your job to keep your son on the right path. Thomas: Mm-hmm. Malcolm: It's just no way you signed off on this as a pop, bro, and you just didn't think that there were gonna be no repercussions, no type of punishment, no type of... Like, come on, bro.
