- 0:26Speaker 1: Close your eyes and make yourself comfortable. Take a big,
- 0:33deep breath in through your nose and slowly and gently
- 0:39breathe out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in
- 0:48and slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth. One
- 0:57last time, deep breath in and slowly and gently breathe
- 1:05out through your mouth. Feel a gentle rhythm of your breath.
- 1:15Take a moment to listen to your heartbeat. Feel a
- 1:20gentle rise and fall of your chest as it moves
- 1:24in time with your heartbeat. And each time it does this,
- 1:29you feel more and more relaxed, more and more calm,
- 1:34more and more peaceful. Every time you breathe in, you're
- 1:42breathing in deep relaxation, and it feels so wonderful and
- 1:49so peaceful. Now, tense up your whole body really tightly
- 1:57and hold it for just a few seconds. Hold it tightly,
- 2:03and now let it go. Feel your legs going limp
- 2:07and soft as your muscles relax. Feel your whole body
- 2:12softening as you gently relax. So one more time, Tighten
- 2:19up all of your muscles in your body really tightly.
- 2:22Bail your hands into fists and hold it for just
- 2:26a few seconds. Hold it and now let it go.
- 2:32That's really good, well done. Now imagine that you have
- 2:38roots growing out from the soles of your feet, roots
- 2:43that just look like the roots of a tree, all long,
- 2:47wobbly and numbly. And you can hear your roots growing
- 2:53through the ground. You can hear them as they push
- 2:57their way through the soil and a little bit really
- 3:02feel the soil under your feet. Can you feel it?
- 3:09This is called grounding, and this keeps your energy planted
- 3:14in the ground so that you too can grow big
- 3:17and strong, just like the trees. Now see yourself surrounded
- 3:25by a beautiful white light that sparkles and shines, making
- 3:31you feel so safe and so protected because you are
- 3:36this beautiful shining light, and you feel so relaxed now
- 3:43that your whole body is still so very still and
- 3:49so very peaceful. Now, I'm going to tell you a
- 3:56short little story about Doris, the little pink piglet. She
- 4:02was a very brave and happy little piglet, and she
- 4:05absolutely loved everyone everyone she met, and she wanted everyone
- 4:11to be her friend. Doris was a cute and cuddly
- 4:17little pink piglet. She had a pink curly tail, a
- 4:21pink nose and pink ears that would wiggle whenever she
- 4:25was happy. She loved rolling around in the mud and
- 4:31squealed with joy whenever she found a nice warm spot
- 4:34to snuggle in, even if she did get a bit muddy.
- 4:38Doris lived on a farm. She was a very curious
- 4:43and adventurous little piglet. She was always looking for new
- 4:47experiences and new friends. Doris was always hungry too, and
- 4:52would wink loudly whenever she wanted attention or food. She
- 4:57had a habit of eating every thinking sight, including her
- 5:02owner's flower beds, But despite this, her owner loved her
- 5:06diggerly and always made sure she was well fed. Doris's
- 5:12favorite pastime was playing in the fields, chasing after butterflies
- 5:17and snuffling the truffles. She loved her around, grunting with
- 5:21excitement and oinking happily whenever she found something interesting, and
- 5:26she nearly always did. But at the end of the day,
- 5:30Doris would always come back to her owner for a snuggle,
- 5:34closing her eyes contentedly as she drifted off to sleep.
- 5:40One day, while exploring the farm, she encountered a group
- 5:45of ducklings playing near the pond, and they were laughing
- 5:50and having fun splashing about in that pond, and Doris
- 5:53really wanted to join them. She wanted to play with
- 5:56them and have fun too, But the duckling didn't want
- 6:00to play with her because she was different. They said
- 6:05that pigs were not supposed to play with ducks because
- 6:08they were different. This made Doris feel sad and alone,
- 6:14but she didn't give up. She decided to learn how
- 6:19to swim and fly like a duck so that she
- 6:23could play with them. Oh my, oh my word, that's
- 6:27a tall order. So Doris practiced every day and soon
- 6:34became good at swimming and jumping. She even learned how
- 6:38to fly a little bit with the help of some
- 6:41friendly sparrows. Imagine that of flying piglets. Wow. Finally, the
- 6:50day came when she was ready to show her new
- 6:53skills to the ducklings. She jumped into the pond and
- 6:57swam towards them, making big splashes and quacking like a duck.
- 7:01The ducklings were amazed and very impressed with how far
- 7:06Doris had come. They saw how determined and brave Doris was,
- 7:11so they welcomed her into their little group. Doris realized
- 7:18that she had many new friends. And was looking forward
- 7:21to all the adventures they would have together. And she
- 7:24realized that being different was not a bad thing, but
- 7:28rather something to be proud of. And she learned that
- 7:33with determination and hard work, you can achieve anything you
- 7:38set your mind to be, anything you want to be.
- 7:44Doris also realized that it doesn't matter if we are
- 7:48all different from one or other. It only matters that
- 7:51we are kind to each other and that we help
- 7:55each other whenever our help is needed, and Doris found
- 8:00that she would always help every one, no matter how
- 8:03different they were from her. Doris lived happily on the fall,
- 8:10still enduring her favorite pastimes of rolling in the mud
- 8:14and snuffling for truffles, and most of all, playing with
- 8:17her new friends, the ducklings. And from that day on,
- 8:22Doris knew no matter where life took her, she would
- 8:28always have a warm place to call home and lots
- 8:32of wonderful friends. But now it's time for you to
- 8:37snuggle down and get some sleep. And you think to yourself,
- 8:42what a wonderful little pig like Doris's, And you say
- 8:45to yourself that you would like to be just like hair.
- 8:53So as you lie in your nice warm bed, you
- 8:57feel a gentle wave of sleepiness still at your feet,
- 9:02and you can feel your toes going to sleep. It
- 9:04feels all warm and tingling and ever so soft. You
- 9:10feel this soothing, gentle wave of sleepiness coming up your
- 9:15calves and your shins, and you can feel it going
- 9:18up your sighs, and you think to yourself, oh, my
- 9:23legs have gone to sleep, Yes they have. But you
- 9:27feel very tired now, so sleepy, but so happy. And
- 9:34this beautiful wave of sleepiness travels all the way up
- 9:38your body and down your arms and into your hands,
- 9:44making your body feel very very heavy, very very tired,
- 9:52and very very sleepy. And this gentle, warm way of
- 10:00sleepiness travels up your face and over the top of
- 10:05your head, down the back of your neck, and you
- 10:10feel so tired, so sleeping. Now you feel so very
- 10:18peaceful now and so very relaxed, so relaxed, very very sleepy.
- 10:29So for now, night night anything sai in no anything
- 26:21ing
