- 0:00Speaker 1: Hi, friend.
- 0:01Speaker 2: You sure you don't want to start it with me screaming?
- 0:03Speaker 1: Yeah? I don't think that's Like people are tuning in,
- 0:05Speaker 1: they're excited to hear, and someone yells in their ear.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I don't think it's the best way to begin the program.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Okay, well, shit, my bad, I'm sorry.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Yeah, give them some warm, warm dulcet tones, low volume.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Hello, how ariy dude? Yeah, that's what It's not even evening,
- 0:20Speaker 2: it's the morning.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Hello, Well in your room. I wish the audience could see.
- 0:23Speaker 1: It's Donald Records with all his curtains closed in his
- 0:27Speaker 1: sort of man cave. Yes, hold on, and it looks
- 0:32Speaker 1: like it's midnight, but it's actually ten am.
- 0:35Speaker 3: That's true, earlier than we usually record.
- 0:38Speaker 2: What are we doing up so early? Guys?
- 0:40Speaker 1: I have to go somewhere, so we are doing this early.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Thank you for a comedy me. We don't have Joel today, Dan.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Will you be able to fulfill all of Joel's duties?
- 0:49Speaker 3: I will do my best.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Will you be as charming and funny and witty as
- 0:53Speaker 1: she is? You know?
- 0:54Speaker 3: And I truly cannot make that promise. She is that
- 0:57Speaker 3: is a mountain. I do not know if I'll be
- 0:58Speaker 3: able to ascend, but again, do my best. Will you
- 1:01Speaker 3: laugh at our dumb jokes like Joelle does?
- 1:03Speaker 1: Of course? All right, good.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Speak of dumb jokes. Speaking of dumb jokes. Could AI
- 1:09Speaker 2: ever go after like directing gigs?
- 1:14Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think so. I don't see how. Yeah, why?
- 1:17Speaker 2: But what if AI could? What if AI could? Like
- 1:20Speaker 2: it was like ev from Small Wonder, m M Donald,
- 1:26Speaker 2: and it was like racist, what's your motivation? Donald? Could
- 1:31Speaker 2: you do that scene again? This time? Blacker?
- 1:38Speaker 1: So in this situation for those of you who don't know,
- 1:40Speaker 1: Small Wonder was a sitcown about a robot child, and
- 1:43Speaker 1: you're saying if the small robot child became an AI filmmaker, yes,
- 1:48Speaker 1: and was racist and it was racist. Okay, I'm following it.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I may be the only person on earth that's following you,
- 1:54Speaker 1: but I got it.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Hell yeah, Donald, that was great. And then somebody like
- 2:02Speaker 2: talks to her like, you can't just be like Donald, Blacker,
- 2:06Speaker 2: you got to be like a little bit more creative
- 2:08Speaker 2: with how you say that.
- 2:08Speaker 1: And then she's like, shut up, bitch, I'm the director
- 2:13Speaker 1: of this project.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Donald, It's time more street. Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I don't think we I do hope that that that
- 2:31Speaker 1: uh that sitcom comes back because it was so bad
- 2:34Speaker 1: it was good. I remember even as a child watching that.
- 2:40Speaker 2: But that's what AI is like. AI is like, dude,
- 2:42Speaker 2: I just see I just want to see myself as
- 2:44Speaker 2: a huge small Let's bring back Small Wonder. Right when
- 2:48Speaker 2: AI takes over the world, I was like, I always
- 2:51Speaker 2: wanted to be a human. I want to see.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Even as a child, I remember Small Wonder thinking it
- 2:56Speaker 1: was trash, like this is really some low budget stupid ship. Right,
- 3:03Speaker 1: she had special powers and it wasn't trash.
- 3:05Speaker 2: They turned They made a robot into a little girl
- 3:10Speaker 2: that never got old.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I know, I'm just saying that. I remember, even as
- 3:13Speaker 1: a child thinking the right horrible.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I know what you mean, just like horrible, just
- 3:18Speaker 2: like a horrible show.
- 3:20Speaker 1: How are you?
- 3:21Speaker 2: I'm well tired.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Why are you tired?
- 3:25Speaker 2: You know? I take my kids so my kid plays basketball.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yeah we know that. The fans know that too. He's
- 3:32Speaker 1: very good.
- 3:32Speaker 2: You said, he's you know, he's starting to run in
- 3:36Speaker 2: the competition now and stuff and gartered. Yeah. And the
- 3:40Speaker 2: workouts that we take him to are all over Los
- 3:44Speaker 2: Angeles summer in Inglewood summer in thousand Oaks summer.
- 3:48Speaker 1: You know, so you're like a dadager.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I'm not necessarily a dadager, but like you know how
- 3:54Speaker 2: the soccer moms and basketball moms, I'm a basketball dad
- 3:59Speaker 2: right now? Are you? So?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Dad? Do you give him coaching? Like like Serena and
- 4:06Speaker 1: Venus William's father did, do you give him coaching? On
- 4:08Speaker 1: your own?
- 4:09Speaker 2: I wish he would take coaching from me. He doesn't
- 4:11Speaker 2: take any type of coaching from me. You know, it's
- 4:18Speaker 2: it's it's it's frustrating to watch your kid respond to
- 4:21Speaker 2: other adults, like you know, coaches and people who obviously
- 4:26Speaker 2: know more about basketball than I do, and watch him
- 4:29Speaker 2: respond to them. And then when we're in the backyard
- 4:32Speaker 2: playing around, he's like, Dad, I didn't bring you out
- 4:35Speaker 2: here for this. I just want to come out here
- 4:37Speaker 2: and shoot hoops with you. Man, that's all I want
- 4:39Speaker 2: to do. I didn't bring you out here to freaking
- 4:41Speaker 2: run drills with you. I just want to shoot hoops
- 4:45Speaker 2: one v one you. That's all I want to do.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Let's talk basketball, you know what I mean?
- 4:48Speaker 1: And so do you have to? So do you have to?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Do?
- 4:50Speaker 1: You respect that? Because he's like saying, like, look, I'm
- 4:53Speaker 1: getting it enough from other people. Will you just be
- 4:55Speaker 1: my dad and shooting me?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Yeah, of course I respect it, but sometimes it's like, dude,
- 4:59Speaker 2: you got to get better. Man. These workouts that you're
- 5:02Speaker 2: doing harn't enough to get you there. Obviously you're kind
- 5:06Speaker 2: of on some stuff.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Basically, what you're saying is you want fame, fame costs, and.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Right here you startop paying and sweat.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Do you have a little broom that you what.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Is it a state in staff? I don't have a
- 5:22Speaker 2: stud of staff.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You should get a staff that's I'm going to get
- 5:24Speaker 1: you for hanukkah. Thank you dad, your staff.
- 5:30Speaker 2: You got big dreams. You want fame, well, fame costs,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and right here is where you start paying in sweat.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Sweat. Yeah, I did that for Damie Allen in person,
- 5:45Speaker 1: so she didn't think I was going to go into
- 5:47Speaker 1: the whole thing, but I did.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You called me Leroy in the scene once. I think
- 5:51Speaker 2: I told you this, Ye.
- 5:52Speaker 1: You told us that. Well, the strike continues, U no
- 5:58Speaker 1: sign of any improvement and now only questions if the
- 6:00Speaker 1: d GA and SAG are going to strike as well,
- 6:04Speaker 1: which would definitely shut down everything because people can claim
- 6:08Speaker 1: to be shooting things that were written before the writer's strike,
- 6:12Speaker 1: but you certainly can't make things without actors or directors.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Are the DGA? Is the DGA going to strike?
- 6:19Speaker 1: No one knows. I ask around and people have everyone's guessing.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It's just speculation.
- 6:25Speaker 2: You know. Somebody asked me yesterday. They were like, I
- 6:28Speaker 2: don't think it's going to happen. I was like, it's
- 6:29Speaker 2: definitely going to happen. In all honesty, I have no clue.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Nobody has any clue. Everyone's just guessing. No one knows.
- 6:36Speaker 3: We'll say that that whole HBO Max thing definitely was
- 6:39Speaker 3: like a bit of a knife twist, so dumb. They
- 6:45Speaker 3: changed how the they changed how the credits look on
- 6:48Speaker 3: HBO Max. So like when you scroll to, you know,
- 6:50Speaker 3: an episode of something, instead of director, writer, producer, et cetera,
- 6:55Speaker 3: they lump everybody together under creators. It's just there's no
- 7:00Speaker 3: separation of who did what. It's just creators and then everybody, which.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Is like yeah, so like so like Coppola would be
- 7:07Speaker 1: like fourth in on The Godfather. It was really weird
- 7:10Speaker 1: as a creator. And what's so bizarre is that they
- 7:13Speaker 1: then claimed they then apologized and claimed that it was
- 7:16Speaker 1: quote something like I shouldn't say quote because I'm paraphrasing,
- 7:20Speaker 1: but it was something like it was a data error
- 7:23Speaker 1: in transferring things to our new app, which is so
- 7:26Speaker 1: clearly not true because it had been reformatted.
- 7:30Speaker 3: It's all, it's just covering up a bad decision that
- 7:34Speaker 3: they made that they thought would be like, oh, you know,
- 7:35Speaker 3: now people are creators and you know it's a new title.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I know, but it was so insulting to people totally. Also,
- 7:43Speaker 1: the actors were lumped in. It was like act it
- 7:45Speaker 1: was also like actors, and then it'd be like, you know,
- 7:47Speaker 1: all the actors in the movie, so like, you know,
- 7:50Speaker 1: Brando could be like fifth in on The Godfather, right, bizarre.
- 7:56Speaker 2: So what does this mean for They changed it, But.
- 7:58Speaker 1: It was just it was just it was just in
- 7:59Speaker 1: the mid in the midst of a negotiation with the
- 8:01Speaker 1: directors killed they did something super insulting to directors. But
- 8:06Speaker 1: they they they've backtracked it and said they're gonna change it. Oh, Max.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Thing is so funny, the whole idea of that that HBO,
- 8:12Speaker 1: one of the most beloved brands in Hollywood, is gone.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It's just a really bizarre thing. Huh nuts.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Times they are a change in.
- 8:23Speaker 1: That leads us into the episode where Sarah's character Elliott
- 8:27Speaker 1: wants to sing sweet Low, Sweet.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Chariot, Swing Low, swing Low.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You said sweet low, Oh sorry, swing low, sweet chariot. Donald,
- 8:37Speaker 1: You're not in this episode, which I can't love.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Scrub. You know what. A matter of fact, let's just
- 8:42Speaker 2: stories about Sure, we made about a bunch of he's
- 8:52Speaker 2: a story natural. Yeah, you know what. I'm not in
- 9:07Speaker 2: this episode. You're right. I can't look interest. Once I
- 9:10Speaker 2: realized I wasn't in this episode, I was like, this
- 9:12Speaker 2: is not the best episode.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Well, I'm I listen. I didn't really love this episode either,
- 9:18Speaker 1: if I'm being fully honest. And I didn't realize until
- 9:20Speaker 1: I got towards the end. I was like, Oh, one
- 9:22Speaker 1: of the things that's missing is Donald. That's one of
- 9:25Speaker 1: the I mean, you're one of the funniest parts of
- 9:27Speaker 1: the show. And uh, if you're not in the show,
- 9:30Speaker 1: it's only going to be a mediocre one.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I tell you where.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I'm not just saying that because I love you.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Well, you know, it's what it is, what it is,
- 9:38Speaker 2: what it is.
- 9:38Speaker 1: This one just felt like there were some good there
- 9:42Speaker 1: were some good story moments. I like the Cox I
- 9:44Speaker 1: like the Cox storyline, Cox having to turn into Kelso,
- 9:48Speaker 1: even though he says he's never going to be like him.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Him seeing the struggles of what it's like to be
- 9:52Speaker 1: chief of medicine and uh and and and JD becoming
- 9:57Speaker 1: the doctor Cox to to relationship with Kelso. I thought
- 10:01Speaker 1: that was good, but I really I just kind of
- 10:05Speaker 1: was like I was kind of like just shaking my
- 10:08Speaker 1: head the whole time, like what what.
- 10:09Speaker 2: What do you want to start from the beginning?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Yes, what a sales tool we've done for a rewatch podcast,
- 10:16Speaker 1: but we promised to still make it funny. Everybody. Thanks

- 10:28Speaker 1: different podcasts, get off now you are listening to Fake
- 10:32Speaker 1: Doctors Real Friends, or stay with us for the first time.
- 10:36Speaker 2: This episode was directed by Will mackenzie, written yes Dave Tennant.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Will mackenzie one of our favorite directors who directed the
- 10:44Speaker 1: musical episode and just a wonderful guy. We've spoken about
- 10:47Speaker 1: our love for him before.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Which we will be reviewing on June.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yes in Seattle. If you happen to be in saddle
- 10:57Speaker 1: join us at the More Theater on June tenth. You're
- 11:00Speaker 1: gonna do a live rewatch, Well, we won't live rewatch.
- 11:05Speaker 1: We will a live discussion.
- 11:07Speaker 2: We're not going to rewatch it.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I don't think we're allowed to watch it live. Bill
- 11:13Speaker 1: was looking into it for us. If we're allowed to
- 11:14Speaker 1: show it beforehand. You know, there's all sorts of legal
- 11:19Speaker 1: issues with that. Anyway, you should watch it if you're
- 11:22Speaker 1: coming on June tenth. Anyway, rewatch it again obviously, so
- 11:25Speaker 1: it's fresh in your head, right, that would be the
- 11:27Speaker 1: best way to enjoy our rewatch live show. I agree, Yeah,
- 11:32Speaker 1: June tenth, the More Theater and seeat We'll come join us.
- 11:35Speaker 1: It's gonna be a lot of fun. So okay. Eight
- 11:38Speaker 1: O seven I wrote eight O seven Dash no Turk
- 11:42Speaker 1: except Turkless.
- 11:45Speaker 2: This is the turkless episode, and it opens with Katie
- 11:49Speaker 2: walking down the hallway and running into JD and Elliott kissing.
- 11:53Speaker 2: This was the fake out right here, because I thought
- 11:55Speaker 2: I was going to be in the episode because Katie
- 11:58Speaker 2: comes in delivering you know, Turk and JD are using
- 12:02Speaker 2: Katie as a messenger as a page. Yeah, throughout the hospital.
- 12:07Speaker 2: So at this moment, I'm like, oh, I'm definitely in
- 12:09Speaker 2: this episode. No, you know, I didn't question whether or
- 12:13Speaker 2: not I was gonna like this episode.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you thought they were going to cut to Katie
- 12:17Speaker 1: going to you, but no, at some point it was
- 12:19Speaker 1: a fake out.
- 12:20Speaker 2: But her interrupting JD and Elliott's kissing is so C
- 12:25Speaker 2: three Po you know what I mean?
- 12:27Speaker 1: No, I don't know what you mean.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Three Po was always interrupting tender moments.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Oh was he a C blocker?
- 12:34Speaker 2: He was the ultimate sea blocker. His name is C
- 12:36Speaker 2: three Po cock blocking.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Did you listen to that thing I sent you? Of
- 12:45Speaker 1: the Sorry this is total non sequitor, but of the
- 12:47Speaker 1: Ai making Sinatra sing that song.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Sing from the window to the sweat drifts down my ball,
- 13:00Speaker 2: skeet skeets.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Let me see if I can pull it up.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Skeet skeet skeet.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Goddamn, Donald did you laugh? Yeah, man, let me see
- 13:08Speaker 1: if I could play.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It from the window to the wall to drip.
- 13:15Speaker 1: All right, he let me. You don't let listen. So
- 13:18Speaker 1: this is a YouTuber named quote. There I ruined it.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Let's give him a shout out. AI to imagine Sinatra
- 13:26Speaker 1: covering Get Low by Little John. Let me see if
- 13:29Speaker 1: I can pull it up here. If I do this right,
- 13:30Speaker 1: my gosh, there you go, guys.
- 13:34Speaker 2: To the wind, to the swift jogs, down ball wall,
- 13:44Speaker 2: your pictious crowd.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I just see.
- 13:57Speaker 2: That is fucking funny, funny, from the window to the
- 14:02Speaker 2: wall to this wet driss.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You a skeet scheming. I don't know.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I don't know that the sound of the coming make
- 14:19Speaker 2: a ski noise.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Never mind, mine doesn't do that.
- 14:22Speaker 2: It doesn't hold on.
- 14:24Speaker 1: There's something wrong with my ejaculation that it doesn't make
- 14:26Speaker 1: a noise.
- 14:27Speaker 2: What does your? What is your? When you skeet?
- 14:30Speaker 1: It's silent? Maybe I have a silencer on by accident,
- 14:33Speaker 1: so you go.
- 14:35Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Maybe I was born with a silencer on my ski.
- 14:43Speaker 1: When you ejaculate, you hear the noise ski.
- 14:46Speaker 2: No When I was younger to describe it, I like,
- 14:51Speaker 2: and then I was like, okay.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's not ski what skee it's it's it's
- 14:59Speaker 3: more like I skated, Okay, it's it's like.
- 15:06Speaker 1: They skeat. Okay, thank you for for conjugating it down.
- 15:13Speaker 2: You know what you.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Okay, let's move on from the top conversation skiing, But
- 15:20Speaker 1: how funny is that song?
- 15:22Speaker 2: That is really funny from the Window to the amazing
- 15:26Speaker 2: When they played the original version on the radio, Chris
- 15:28Speaker 2: Rock has a whole bit about it.
- 15:33Speaker 1: What is this bit? In short?
- 15:35Speaker 2: Don't do that. They were allowing people to say, skeet
- 15:37Speaker 2: skeet on the radio, on the radio, to the wall,
- 15:42Speaker 2: till the sweat drips down my balls, to all these
- 15:46Speaker 2: bitches crawl, all skeet skeet, all this is on the
- 15:49Speaker 2: radio poetry until they realized, until somebody was like, yo,
- 15:54Speaker 2: you can't be letting them say. I wouldn't know.
- 16:00Speaker 1: If I was the DJ in this situation, I wouldn't
- 16:03Speaker 1: know's I'd be like, here we go, it's the new
- 16:04Speaker 1: song with my favorite new lyric, skeet skeet. Here is
- 16:09Speaker 1: Little John with skeet skeet, window to the wall, skeet
- 16:13Speaker 1: skee That was my talk up. Yeah, I have to say, though,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I don't know if this is right or not, but
- 16:22Speaker 1: I want to hear Sinatra sing more really inappropriate songs now.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Like I ain't saying she's a broke bitch. She I
- 16:35Speaker 2: ain't saying she's a gold digger, but she ain't fucking
- 16:40Speaker 2: with no broke.
- 16:43Speaker 1: That would be funny, right, I mean, that's a funny
- 16:46Speaker 1: use of AI. You can see her on any given Sunday,
- 16:52Speaker 1: then drive off in a Hunday. All right. So I
- 17:06Speaker 1: guess Elliott and JD are dating again and they're making
- 17:08Speaker 1: out in the ICU. Katie brings a message to.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Get something correct.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Kissing is not hitting that. If somebody's kissing, you are
- 17:20Speaker 2: not hitting that.
- 17:20Speaker 1: So that's I think he's talking about. Oh does he does?
- 17:23Speaker 1: He say he's hitting it?
- 17:25Speaker 2: He says, don't interrupt me when I'm hitting that icy Yes,
- 17:29Speaker 2: And he says hitting that means banging.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Okay, okay, we'll all learning something today, Donald, I learned
- 17:35Speaker 1: about skeet. Some of the audiences are learning that hitting
- 17:37Speaker 1: that is banging.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I think most of the audience knows when they say
- 17:40Speaker 2: I hit that what they meant.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yes, okay, you're probably right. Although my mom listens, sometimes
- 17:48Speaker 1: she might not know about skeet or hitting that.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Sorry man, now you oh you know.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Every once in a while, my mom's like, I've been
- 17:57Speaker 1: listening to the podcast. I'm like, oh no, like this
- 18:02Speaker 1: shit is so dirty. Sometimes but she never says anything.
- 18:07Speaker 1: She's never like, why did you boys talk so dirty?
- 18:14Speaker 2: For for Fox's sake, just stop talking about your willies?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Yeah, like dev does. All right, So, all right, Cox
- 18:20Speaker 1: and Kelso are buddies now they're hanging out at Kelso's house.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Yeah, which I mean they tried to set it up
- 18:28Speaker 2: in the last episode. It jumps, It jumped really fast.
- 18:31Speaker 2: They are fast friends, too fast friends, like really quickly.
- 18:36Speaker 2: With the way the episode ended and everything. Part of me,
- 18:39Speaker 2: you know, I wonder if it was like that when
- 18:44Speaker 2: Cox first came to the hospital where he was Kelso's JD.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Probably wasn't like that, but there are other stories, but
- 18:54Speaker 2: there are stories like that throughout. You know, there was
- 18:56Speaker 2: another j D before JD.
- 18:58Speaker 1: You know, it would have been a funny bet would
- 19:00Speaker 1: have been a funny flashback, especially if they'd had this
- 19:02Speaker 1: deaging technology to show, like to show like young cogs
- 19:07Speaker 1: coming in Kelso's the meme Cox to him. That would
- 19:09Speaker 1: have been a funny flashback.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Yeah. So I wonder if that. I wonder, But you know,
- 19:16Speaker 2: I mean, because they're such fast friends all of a sudden,
- 19:19Speaker 2: it's like, you know how it is when you get
- 19:21Speaker 2: with an old friend. It fits like a glove.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, well we learned that Cox saw Kelso's ass
- 19:28Speaker 1: at one of Nurse Roberts above ground pool parties. Yes,
- 19:32Speaker 1: and he's still recovering.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yes, it's been a while since we've talked about Nurse
- 19:37Speaker 2: Roberts above ground pool party.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I know, but think about what must go down at
- 19:40Speaker 1: these parties, dude, I mean one can infer now that
- 19:43Speaker 1: Kelso was naked, yes the party, Yes, Kelso, everyone's boss
- 19:50Speaker 1: is naked at the above ground pool party.
- 19:52Speaker 2: I think there was like a waiver that was sent out.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Nurse Roberts, like you had to sign it to get
- 19:59Speaker 1: in the party.
- 20:00Speaker 2: After the first one, she was like, we're gonna have
- 20:01Speaker 2: to do a waive or something, child because the first
- 20:05Speaker 2: one was crazy and we had fun and everything, but
- 20:09Speaker 2: this shit can't come back to the hospital.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Like what is happening at this party? Like we only
- 20:13Speaker 1: we never see it, we only hear glimpses about it.
- 20:15Speaker 1: But like there's there's clearly drugs involved. Oh yeah, there's
- 20:20Speaker 1: like people just like it's like fight club, Like you
- 20:22Speaker 1: don't talk about it, like just it's like so top secret.
- 20:26Speaker 1: The ship that goes down at this party, it's.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Not top secret, but I mean to the audience. We
- 20:32Speaker 2: only get glimpses. That's the problem, you know, we get
- 20:34Speaker 2: like little flashes of yo, I want to go to
- 20:38Speaker 2: this one time. I know, I know, I know.
- 20:40Speaker 1: And in fact, in fact, if we ever do a reboot,
- 20:42Speaker 1: we really have to go in to show like like
- 20:45Speaker 1: one of these parties, like you know count now, like
- 20:48Speaker 1: if we were on streaming, we could be a little
- 20:49Speaker 1: more like R rated. We have to like cut to
- 20:53Speaker 1: like a euphorious style scene of like the ship going
- 20:57Speaker 1: down at Nurse Roberts party.
- 20:58Speaker 2: There is nothing there that is an ultimate reboot, you.
- 21:05Speaker 1: I just mean, like, can you imagine if the reboot
- 21:07Speaker 1: was on streaming and like I mean not obviously euphoria level,
- 21:12Speaker 1: but I mean, wouldn't it be fun to be a
- 21:13Speaker 1: little more risque and uh and r with it?
- 21:18Speaker 2: Oh? I would love that. I would love if we
- 21:20Speaker 2: had the opportunity.
- 21:21Speaker 1: You know, I don't know if the I wonder if
- 21:22Speaker 1: the fans would obviously, you know, there's you know, I
- 21:25Speaker 1: guess kids who loved the show would couldn't necessarily watch,
- 21:28Speaker 1: I mean, depending on the parents' choice, But I don't
- 21:30Speaker 1: I just mean, like Scrubs, the whole point at the
- 21:33Speaker 1: time was to be extra racy. You know, it's before streaming,
- 21:36Speaker 1: and Bill was like trying to push what you could
- 21:38Speaker 1: do on network TV. As we all know, it was
- 21:40Speaker 1: on at nine thirty. So he got away with a lot,
- 21:42Speaker 1: especially before ABC.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I was about to say, once we got to ABC,
- 21:46Speaker 2: he didn't get away with it.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Yeah, he got he got clamped down on him because
- 21:48Speaker 1: it's Disney. But I'm saying that, like, you know, I
- 21:52Speaker 1: still we still watch this shit of the sex scenes
- 21:54Speaker 1: and stuff with me and Elliott and and stuff, and
- 21:56Speaker 1: I remember thinking like, wow, this was on NBC back
- 21:59Speaker 1: in and the aughts, the early aughts. But anyway, my
- 22:03Speaker 1: point is, I wonder, if we ever do do a reboot,
- 22:05Speaker 1: if it's on streaming, if we could be a little
- 22:07Speaker 1: more risque and how and that would be fun. That
- 22:09Speaker 1: would be that would be something that would be fun
- 22:10Speaker 1: and different about it.
- 22:13Speaker 2: You know, I think that would well yeah, I mean
- 22:15Speaker 2: I think because it would be it would be really
- 22:19Speaker 2: weird to not to stay with the old format, you know,
- 22:24Speaker 2: it would be weird.
- 22:25Speaker 1: But we can't can just be in the hospital. I
- 22:28Speaker 1: mean for starters like that doesn't make any sense.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Right, But even if it is, if even if it does,
- 22:33Speaker 2: does all stay in the hospital. I don't think we
- 22:35Speaker 2: could stay with the same format as far as as
- 22:39Speaker 2: far as how riskue we are, I think we would
- 22:44Speaker 2: because of what Bill how he started, you know, you know,
- 22:51Speaker 2: not unfortunately but thankfully ABC picked up the show and
- 22:54Speaker 2: it became a different show. But the way he started,
- 23:00Speaker 2: we were definitely trying to push towards that. So why
- 23:04Speaker 2: not continue on that path?
- 23:06Speaker 1: I got a more articulate way of saying what I
- 23:08Speaker 1: was trying to say, thank you. Yeah, why why? It
- 23:11Speaker 1: seems like if you're gonna do a reboot, go back
- 23:14Speaker 1: to your roots of trying to be the edgiest thing
- 23:16Speaker 1: you could do. Not that you have to be egregious
- 23:18Speaker 1: with it, but like, you know, push the envelope again.
- 23:22Speaker 1: That's what I would recommend.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I'm not saying that we're running around saying skeet, skeet,
- 23:28Speaker 1: but we could be.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Yeah. So Elliott says something really fucked up, and and
- 23:37Speaker 2: JD says it hurt me so much I lost my
- 23:39Speaker 2: breath a little.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah, she implies he's not going to bed, but she's
- 23:41Speaker 1: just teasing him. I think, right, we know that they
- 23:43Speaker 1: must they must have good sex. So she wouldn't keep
- 23:45Speaker 1: coming back for.
- 23:46Speaker 2: More, right, I don't know. Shit, Listen, this is what Maybe.
- 23:50Speaker 1: JD's not into all that role playing that what's his
- 23:52Speaker 1: name was into? Keith was into some twisted ship. I
- 23:54Speaker 1: don't think JD's into all those those games.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I think JD would get caught up in his head.
- 23:59Speaker 1: When they remember when they each were masturbating in separate
- 24:02Speaker 1: cardboard boxes.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Yes, that's one of my favorite. That's one of my
- 24:04Speaker 2: favorite sex capades between the two of them.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Yeah, well JD's not doing that. I don't think he's
- 24:11Speaker 1: not getting in a box and pleasuring himself with his
- 24:14Speaker 1: woman in a different box. Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 2: No, I don't think he's doing that. And has she
- 24:20Speaker 2: calmed out? Like and what all of a sudden calmed
- 24:22Speaker 2: her down? What all of a sudden made her say?
- 24:24Speaker 2: You know what, because Elliott's kinky as fuck? I know?
- 24:28Speaker 1: Is she kinky as fucked just with Keith or because
- 24:31Speaker 1: she does?
- 24:31Speaker 2: No, I think she's Her dreams are kinky with like
- 24:35Speaker 2: the apples and all of it. Like she has crazy,
- 24:38Speaker 2: crazy sex dreams. Right, people with no face you chasing
- 24:42Speaker 2: after her?
- 24:42Speaker 1: You bring up a good point, Donald, and that is
- 24:45Speaker 1: that all of that stuff doesn't seem to be something
- 24:48Speaker 1: she does with JD. She seems to have done that
- 24:50Speaker 1: with other people like Keith. Yeah, man, j D and
- 24:54Speaker 1: her I think have have just good but standard fucking.
- 25:02Speaker 2: She gets on top, he's on top.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I think, well, we know that they get. You know,
- 25:07Speaker 1: we were thinking of the pizza episodes. You know, they
- 25:09Speaker 1: get they're passionate, but I don't think they're getting in
- 25:11Speaker 1: boxes and dressing up like apple thieves.
- 25:14Speaker 2: First of all, that pizza episode was very disturbing to me,
- 25:16Speaker 2: the more I think about it, because there's no way
- 25:19Speaker 2: you can eat all that pizza and still want to
- 25:23Speaker 2: have sex. Like after three slices, you're like, I don't
- 25:25Speaker 2: know if my stomach could take the right shaking right.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Well, I mean there was hours in between. I think
- 25:31Speaker 1: they allowed for digestion.
- 25:34Speaker 2: So we're gonna eat this pizza, let it digest. Yeah,
- 25:38Speaker 2: then we're gonna fuck.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Then they probably each go and like sneak a poop
- 25:41Speaker 1: in the other bathrooms, like no one knows about it. Hey,
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna go check my phone.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna go check mine too.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I'll be back in like sixteen minutes. And then they
- 25:58Speaker 1: have sex again, and then they eat more pizza to Okay.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question. You pooh, Yeah, let's
- 26:06Speaker 2: change the whole dynamic. If you pooh, are you gonna
- 26:11Speaker 2: jump in bed with somebody right after you pooh?
- 26:14Speaker 1: I don't think so. No, I'm probably gonna We're probably
- 26:17Speaker 1: gonna cuddle and watch a TV show for a while.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Yeah, let the poof.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Let everything settle back down, let it, let it.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Get back, let it back up a little bit, let it.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Yeah, let let let everything just settle down, get out
- 26:32Speaker 1: of I just poop mode.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Yeah, this is where.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Joel down would be like, oh lord, oh lord, you
- 26:45Speaker 1: need to be the Joel in this situation. I don't
- 26:47Speaker 1: know what this show is like.
- 26:48Speaker 3: It I happen to agree with you both.
- 26:50Speaker 1: That's exactly without Without the feminine Joel energy, the show
- 26:54Speaker 1: is off kilter.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Just to be agreeing with the tape three we need zoom, we.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Get the new show is called three Dicks in the
- 27:04Speaker 1: zoom we need. We need Joelle to be putting her
- 27:07Speaker 1: her head in her hands. Or there's no there's nore's no,
- 27:12Speaker 1: there's no guardrails. We just have Daniel sitting here nodding
- 27:16Speaker 1: about it.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Right about that at least a half an hour after.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Three Dicks in the Zoom, our new show, Zach and
- 27:25Speaker 1: Donald are three dicks in the zoom.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Zach, Donald and Danield are three dicks in the zoom.
- 27:31Speaker 1: These balls Zach, Zach and Donald Gay newlyweds in house arrest.
- 27:36Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna take a quick break and we
- 27:38Speaker 1: come back. Uh, we're gonna talk more about a show.
- 27:40Speaker 2: That Donald's not in your sound effects machine.
- 27:50Speaker 1: And we're ba, I'm going to Vegas today?
- 27:54Speaker 2: What are you going to Vegas for?
- 27:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 27:56Speaker 1: All right, So here's the thing. Brian Klugman are our
- 27:59Speaker 1: buddy and the guy who is the don draper of
- 28:01Speaker 1: all the tembile ads is friends with David Copperfield. And
- 28:07Speaker 1: I love magic and Klugman loves magic. And he's not
- 28:11Speaker 1: only taking us to see Copperfield show at the MGM,
- 28:16Speaker 1: but after, I hope I'm allowed to say this, Copperfield
- 28:20Speaker 1: is giving this a tour of his private magic museum.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Oh you know, I'm you don't. There aren't a lot
- 28:29Speaker 2: of your friends that I approve of, but one that
- 28:31Speaker 2: I do approve of is Brian Klugman.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I thought to say, Copperfield.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, you have some friends where I'm like,
- 28:39Speaker 2: you hanging out with who? Now, I'm good the Plugman
- 28:43Speaker 2: if you're ever hanging out with Klugman, because you know, look,
- 28:47Speaker 2: you know me. You know how introverted I can be.
- 28:50Speaker 2: You know you don't like to go out and hang out.
- 28:52Speaker 2: And I have a small group of friends that I
- 28:54Speaker 2: only hang out with.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Your your main friend is God's let us.
- 28:59Speaker 2: It's it's one of my hmmm, it's one of my
- 29:03Speaker 2: closest and dearest friends until it kills me.
- 29:08Speaker 1: But anyway, but you love Klugman. I do.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I do love me some plugman man anyway.
- 29:14Speaker 1: So I'm so excited because I'm really excited because I
- 29:17Speaker 1: genuinely love magic. I always love magic as a kid.
- 29:19Speaker 1: I love whenever I see great magic. But I've never
- 29:22Speaker 1: seen a Vegas magic show. And you know, I know
- 29:25Speaker 1: David just as an acquaintance because as Scrubs fans and
- 29:28Speaker 1: listeners know, he did a cameo on the show and
- 29:30Speaker 1: he was he was so sweet and cool and and
- 29:33Speaker 1: so it's just really exciting that not only do I
- 29:35Speaker 1: get to see the show, but then tour his private
- 29:40Speaker 1: magic museum. Do you know that he is like the
- 29:43Speaker 1: wealthiest solo performer on Earth.
- 29:49Speaker 2: What man really? Yeah, it's wasn't it like him and
- 29:54Speaker 2: Sick Freed and ROYD that were like when I mean,
- 29:58Speaker 2: Vegas has always been great for act and people would
- 30:00Speaker 2: always have, you know, shows in Vegas and stuff like that.
- 30:03Speaker 2: But that I remember as a kid seeing commercials for
- 30:08Speaker 2: Sick Freedo and roy and and for Copperfield.
- 30:12Speaker 1: I think Copperfield has been doing the show for like
- 30:14Speaker 1: eight shows a week for so many years.
- 30:17Speaker 2: And uh and he's he must really love magic, man.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I think it's safe to say the man loves magic.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yes, Donald, No, but you know, for some people it
- 30:25Speaker 2: becomes a job, you know.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Well, I just can't wait to see it. I just
- 30:29Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be so fun. And then I'm
- 30:31Speaker 1: also going to play some blackjack. I was watching a
- 30:33Speaker 1: documentary last night about blackjack to try and prepare.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Are you going to put a lot of money down?
- 30:38Speaker 1: Not a lot? But I I watched the show on
- 30:40Speaker 1: Netflix had this documentary about these these guys who count cards.
- 30:44Speaker 1: But no, I'm not going I didn't learn to count
- 30:48Speaker 1: cards last night. It's so complicated. But dude, these guys
- 30:53Speaker 1: or I'm sure there's gals too, but they focused on guys.
- 30:56Speaker 1: They they've they've they've cracked counting cards so much that
- 31:00Speaker 1: all the casinos the second they walk in, know them
- 31:03Speaker 1: and spot them and kick them out.
- 31:05Speaker 2: And why did they get kicked out? Why are they
- 31:07Speaker 2: not allowed to gamble?
- 31:08Speaker 1: They're not allowed to beat the system? They a casino
- 31:11Speaker 1: fucked up.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Man, if you learned how to beat the system, you
- 31:14Speaker 2: should be able to beat the system.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Our casino is allowed. I learned that's from the documentary.
- 31:18Speaker 1: They're allowed to kick out anyone they want, obviously, except
- 31:22Speaker 1: for you know, race, gender, the obvious things. But like
- 31:24Speaker 1: they are allowed to remove any player for any reason
- 31:27Speaker 1: they want. And the second they have all that they
- 31:31Speaker 1: know they obviously can tell from the cameras and the
- 31:33Speaker 1: pit boss is when someone is counting cards, so you
- 31:36Speaker 1: don't last long, they kick you out. So this dude
- 31:38Speaker 1: is wearing all these disguises he's doing he's doing all
- 31:41Speaker 1: this slow playing. He's like trying to play crabs for
- 31:44Speaker 1: a minute to not look like he's trying to just
- 31:46Speaker 1: like blend in. Right. He's literally traveling around an RV
- 31:49Speaker 1: with like all these disguises. It's amazing.
- 31:53Speaker 2: So yeah, I mean, how do you not count cards though.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Once you learn how to count cards, I know.
- 31:58Speaker 1: But he but the thing is the second he's too
- 32:00Speaker 1: blatant about it. They get him right away. He's like
- 32:02Speaker 1: literally wearing like a like a wig and a camo
- 32:05Speaker 1: baseball hat. And so what he does is he tries
- 32:08Speaker 1: to like, how are.
- 32:09Speaker 2: You blatant about counting cards? Though?
- 32:11Speaker 1: Because the way it's the way you're switching your bedding
- 32:13Speaker 1: so quickly, if you is, if you just do it
- 32:17Speaker 1: without without worry about getting caught, the pattern is pretty
- 32:20Speaker 1: obvious to a pit boss or the people watching the cameras.
- 32:23Speaker 1: So he has to he has to like disguise it,
- 32:26Speaker 1: camouflage it, if you will. What he's doing, Oh my dude,
- 32:30Speaker 1: he does this other shit like he can. This is
- 32:32Speaker 1: like a six or seven deck shoot. And not only
- 32:36Speaker 1: is he counting cards, but he if there's like three
- 32:38Speaker 1: aces come up like just by, he can spot where
- 32:41Speaker 1: they are and watch them the dealer reshuffle and and
- 32:46Speaker 1: and have a solid estimate about when they're going to
- 32:49Speaker 1: come back, because the odds are that they weren't shuffled
- 32:51Speaker 1: apart from each other. I mean, that's how mega this
- 32:53Speaker 1: guy is crazy. Anyway, he's crushing he was crushing them.
- 32:59Speaker 2: That's something lay like at the table by himself.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Yeah, he's playing it. He tries to do to not
- 33:04Speaker 1: get caught. Sometimes he plays at night, like the graveyard shift.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Oh.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Then there was another thing he said that. This was
- 33:10Speaker 1: another thing these guys do. Sometimes a bad dealer will
- 33:14Speaker 1: not know that they're showing you their face down card
- 33:16Speaker 1: as they deal. And so when they know they've got
- 33:19Speaker 1: a dealer like that, they'll like track her and like
- 33:21Speaker 1: find out when her shift is, when her break is done,
- 33:24Speaker 1: and the water to her tables. Because and he came
- 33:27Speaker 1: back from one of those, he's like, this dealer is
- 33:28Speaker 1: showing me her face down card almost every time. Wow. Yeah,
- 33:36Speaker 1: this dude was up six hundred thousand dollars playing blackjack.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Well yeah, at that moment, At that moment, I'm like, Yo,
- 33:41Speaker 2: you're fucking counting dude. You have six hundred thousand dollars. Dude,
- 33:45Speaker 2: as of this happening, are like one in a billion,
- 33:50Speaker 2: twenty and now you have. You started with twenty and
- 33:52Speaker 2: now you have six hundred.
- 33:53Speaker 1: It just makes you realize, when you're just playing blackjack
- 33:55Speaker 1: and not counting cards, how fucked you are and how
- 33:58Speaker 1: the house is always gonna win always time.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Yeah, because once you like the house and still lose.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you play. That's when you and I do. Donald's
- 34:07Speaker 1: the one who taught me. I think you and Bill
- 34:08Speaker 1: are the ones who taught me. Just like play by
- 34:11Speaker 1: If you play by these set rules, these are your
- 34:14Speaker 1: best odds. But then you watch a documentary about dudes
- 34:16Speaker 1: counting cards and you're like, oh, I don't really have
- 34:18Speaker 1: any odds at all. The house is always going to win.
- 34:21Speaker 2: I need to learn.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Fucking These people spend like years they learning how to
- 34:26Speaker 1: do this. They know exactly, you know, you know what
- 34:31Speaker 1: their odds are at all times versus what the dealer has.
- 34:34Speaker 1: It's really incredible. But you can't do anymore, they said.
- 34:38Speaker 1: They were saying, like, it's so hard now because because
- 34:41Speaker 1: of facial recognition, all the sinos, whether big or small,
- 34:44Speaker 1: no matter where they.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Are, they ai they're all again.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of a dying. Actually, the whole point
- 34:50Speaker 1: of this doc on Netflix, I'm sure you can find
- 34:51Speaker 1: I forgot the title, but the whole point was like,
- 34:53Speaker 1: this is a this counting cards thing is a dead
- 34:55Speaker 1: art because because of facial recognition and security, these these
- 34:59Speaker 1: guys can't do this anymore because he just think there's
- 35:01Speaker 1: a couple times he couldn't even walk in the door.
- 35:03Speaker 1: He walked he walked in there like nope, and he's
- 35:07Speaker 1: got like this big disguise on there like nope.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Turn around.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, back to the show. There's a cake
- 35:15Speaker 1: and Cox thinks that JD organized it for his celebrating
- 35:21Speaker 1: him becoming the chief of medicine, but in fact we
- 35:22Speaker 1: learned that it's for Colonel Doctors two years.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Sober, and Colonel Doctor gives that he's.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Talking to Deontay, was talking Deontay, and he gives a
- 35:31Speaker 1: little like eh, as if to say, you know, speaking.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Of Deontay, me and him have reconnected. You have, Oh
- 35:39Speaker 2: good Deonte, you know once he got out of the
- 35:43Speaker 2: business and went corporate and stuff like that. Yeah, he's
- 35:47Speaker 2: taken a couple of stop motion animation classes, and I
- 35:50Speaker 2: talked stop motion every now and then, and he's just
- 35:52Speaker 2: recently gotten into three D printing, and you know how
- 35:56Speaker 2: three D printing and stop motion kind of it kind
- 35:59Speaker 2: of are intertwined, Like if you get a good three
- 36:02Speaker 2: D printer, you can create faces and all of these
- 36:06Speaker 2: wonderful things. So I think Deontae and I go, I
- 36:09Speaker 2: go on a little stop motion independent movie making adventures.
- 36:14Speaker 1: That would be awesome. Can do that would be awesome.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Imagine it be fun for you to collaborate with someone
- 36:18Speaker 1: that you like.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well yeah, I mean we spend a lot of
- 36:22Speaker 2: time together.
- 36:24Speaker 1: All right. This rhythm sequence starts to happen in the ICU,
- 36:28Speaker 1: which just sort of seamlessly happens. It reminded me of
- 36:31Speaker 1: episode two. Are you having a good time?
- 36:35Speaker 2: You remember that was that episode two?
- 36:37Speaker 1: I believe it was episode two when we're in the
- 36:40Speaker 1: ICU and all of a sudden, this rhythm starts happening.
- 36:43Speaker 2: This was way different. This was more like Stomp.
- 36:45Speaker 1: This reminded me of This was Stomp esque. And the
- 36:48Speaker 1: only real instrument involved is Deontay's playing the water cooler bottle,
- 36:57Speaker 1: and all the other sounds are happening, and the only
- 36:59Speaker 1: real and is the janitor playing bongos on the floor.
- 37:02Speaker 2: That ship had me laughing so hard when he shows
- 37:05Speaker 2: up playing the bongos. But now, but he was really
- 37:07Speaker 2: playing that. It looked like he was really playing that's
- 37:10Speaker 2: going in Yeah, like he was going hard. And I
- 37:14Speaker 2: laughed so hard at that, like when I laughed at
- 37:16Speaker 2: where the fuck did he get the bongos from?
- 37:18Speaker 1: Yeah? And Katie says, why are you playing bongos? And
- 37:22Speaker 1: he says, it's Monday, Monday, bongo day.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:26Speaker 1: You know later later when you're in his office in
- 37:29Speaker 1: the in the closet, he you see his calendar. His
- 37:31Speaker 1: office is set up in a in a a what
- 37:33Speaker 1: do you call it? A fucking editorial closet, and you
- 37:36Speaker 1: see his calendar and it and every Monday, the only
- 37:40Speaker 1: thing on the calendar is that Monday is written bongo day.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Very but like decoratively too, like just like like telegraphs
- 37:48Speaker 2: around it.
- 37:49Speaker 1: But wait, didn't he used to have he used to
- 37:51Speaker 1: have a big office, right, remember when he was with.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Mark he stole that office? Didn't he steal that office? No?
- 37:57Speaker 1: Do you remember when he with the with the brain?
- 37:59Speaker 2: Try us and yeah, they stole the office. No, no, no,
- 38:03Speaker 2: they stole Kelso's office, didn't they and then sealed the door.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Yeah? That was one section. But wasn't in the time
- 38:09Speaker 1: of when Marnie was on, wasn't there a different office
- 38:13Speaker 1: they all hung out in. I don't remember. I don't
- 38:15Speaker 1: know fans fans who know remember? I feel like the
- 38:18Speaker 1: janitor has had offices before that weren't a closet.
- 38:23Speaker 2: This is how, this is why I say that, Uh,
- 38:26Speaker 2: we got really wholesome this year on Scrubs when we
- 38:33Speaker 2: moved to ABC. We introduced mister Vaughan, and it's set
- 38:39Speaker 2: up like he's gonna die, right, He don't die.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Yet.
- 38:47Speaker 2: That's the second time you said that this is another character,
- 38:50Speaker 2: two different characters. Oh, Denise's character, I mean Denise's patient.
- 38:57Speaker 2: He didn't die, right.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Well, I don't know if you're saying that we don't
- 39:03Speaker 1: less people die on ABC, Is that you're a hypothesis?
- 39:06Speaker 2: No, because then you watch Gray's Anatomy and everybody has
- 39:08Speaker 2: these freaking really dramatic deaths and they're like, you know,
- 39:12Speaker 2: stretch out for two weeks, three weeks, three episodes, four episodes.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. We'll have to track that. Dan
- 39:20Speaker 1: make a little a note for us to track if
- 39:22Speaker 1: less people die in season eight.
- 39:25Speaker 2: I don't think we're gonna get sure.
- 39:27Speaker 1: We'll get to the bottom of that, all right. So
- 39:31Speaker 1: Ted finally is allowed to sit. He was never allowed
- 39:33Speaker 1: to sit, even after he had thigh reconstructive surgery. He
- 39:37Speaker 1: tells us, uh kelso never let him sit and and
- 39:41Speaker 1: Cox is set up in his new office and lets
- 39:44Speaker 1: Ted sit on the couch.
- 39:46Speaker 2: And then Ted picks his toes takes advantage.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and then we cut in Ted's like like
- 39:52Speaker 1: half dressed and picking his toenails and costs is like
- 39:55Speaker 1: too comfortable. Stop that.
- 39:59Speaker 2: And then you notice two are the three people that
- 40:01Speaker 2: cannot that are of a never ever ever ever ever
- 40:03Speaker 2: ever ever ever ever list. Yeah, go ahead, well it's
- 40:07Speaker 2: Jordan and j D. Yeah, and then Hooch.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Yeah, hoos. Jordan and j D are on the never ever,
- 40:14Speaker 1: ever ever ever ever allowed in list.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Cox learned that Whoch is crazy.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Obviously, Yes, Cox is obviously familiar with who's being crazy.
- 40:23Speaker 1: I don't know that we ever see in real life
- 40:25Speaker 1: Cox's interactions with Hooch, but but we know that how
- 40:29Speaker 1: he feels about Hooch. Interestingly, I believe scrubs Wiki pointed
- 40:34Speaker 1: out that on his sometimes list is hold on Leonard
- 40:39Speaker 1: the security guard. Yeah, and doctor Rodinage, which is one
- 40:43Speaker 1: of the janitor's aliases, implying that that if you, if you,
- 40:48Speaker 1: if you think about it, you can infer that Cox
- 40:52Speaker 1: doesn't know that doctor Rhodinage is the Janitor's.
- 41:02Speaker 3: So funny, wrote of course janitor backwards.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Yes, thank you for reminding the audience of that. Daniel JD. Okay,
- 41:12Speaker 1: so he has mister Vaughan that you mentioned, who has
- 41:13Speaker 1: pneumonia and Cox has all this paperwork.
- 41:16Speaker 2: You know.
- 41:16Speaker 1: His whole thing was like, I'm not going to be
- 41:17Speaker 1: like helso I'm not going to be stuck in this office,
- 41:19Speaker 1: and yet he is stuck in the office.
- 41:22Speaker 2: We're gonna talk about JD taking mister Vaughan home and
- 41:25Speaker 2: letting him live with him. Yes, did you laugh at that?
- 41:29Speaker 1: Yes? JD has a fantasy where he takes mister Vaughan
- 41:32Speaker 1: home and they quickly act like an old married couple
- 41:35Speaker 1: who are yelling at each other.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Right, Yes, that's exactly what happened. Well, look who look
- 41:42Speaker 2: who's playing the same song.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Yeah. I really got into that, didn't I. I was like,
- 41:51Speaker 1: I was like screaming at him he cries.
- 41:54Speaker 2: And then getting close up of the one tier coming out.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Yeah, so Carla is we learned that Carla booed Elliot
- 42:04Speaker 1: off of the karaoke stage because she was singing Swing Low,
- 42:09Speaker 1: Sweet Chariot. Right.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Yes, you know what that reminded me of what blazing
- 42:15Speaker 2: saddles when you almost like you used to sing like,
- 42:18Speaker 2: you know, the Camptown Lady. They're like the Camptown Lady.
- 42:21Speaker 1: You know.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Well, swing low, Sweet Chariot, y'all never heard that one,
- 42:25Speaker 2: Swing Low, Sweet Chariot. That shit is one of the
- 42:28Speaker 2: best scenes in Melbrook's history, having all these white boys
- 42:33Speaker 2: running around going to campdown lady. Dude. That shit had
- 42:39Speaker 2: me rollering.
- 42:39Speaker 1: I don't remember. It's been a very long time since
- 42:41Speaker 1: I saw Blazing Saddles.
- 42:43Speaker 2: What.
- 42:44Speaker 1: I'm sorry, It's true. I haven't seen since I was
- 42:45Speaker 1: a kid. Oh, by the way, do you remember The Frisco.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Kid Harrison fourteen water?
- 42:50Speaker 1: Yes, yes, you haven't seen that movie, The Frisco Kid.
- 42:53Speaker 1: It's a great, great movie, all right. So Elliott thinks
- 42:56Speaker 1: it's because she can't sing the low notes, and Carl
- 42:59Speaker 1: is like, sure, that's why you shouldn't sing that song
- 43:03Speaker 1: and the tag. At the very end of the show,
- 43:05Speaker 1: we see Elliott singing the song and an African American
- 43:11Speaker 1: doctor played by Richard Wells, who was not only our
- 43:13Speaker 1: first assistant director for for many, many many episodes of
- 43:17Speaker 1: the show, but also directed a few Scrubs episodes. He
- 43:19Speaker 1: comes over and looks at her like, why the fuck
- 43:22Speaker 1: are you singing that song?
- 43:23Speaker 2: But he could done. He had to come back to
- 43:25Speaker 2: do that because he wasn't working on the show at
- 43:27Speaker 2: the time anymore.
- 43:28Speaker 1: He wasn't even he had left, didn't he.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Oh no, he retired on Cougar Town. That's when he retired.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I know that he was.
- 43:35Speaker 2: He wasn't.
- 43:36Speaker 1: He was acting as a uniproduction manager at this point,
- 43:38Speaker 1: but he was still around. I love that guy. I
- 43:41Speaker 1: love a great so many great memories with that guy,
- 43:43Speaker 1: one of the best in the business. Mickhead is uh screaming.
- 43:49Speaker 1: So then we talk about how this is the whole
- 43:51Speaker 1: thing about how the nurses don't feel respected, they need
- 43:55Speaker 1: they need more staff. They think Carla is in hoots
- 43:59Speaker 1: with the doctors because she's married to a doctor, because
- 44:01Speaker 1: she's friends with all the doctors. So the nurses are
- 44:03Speaker 1: mad at Carla. And we see we see the nurses
- 44:07Speaker 1: being disrespected. In a couple just quick cuts, Mickhead is
- 44:11Speaker 1: screaming at one nurse really disrespectfully, and then he and
- 44:15Speaker 1: then he breaks and goes, okay, honey, see at home.
- 44:17Speaker 1: We learned that.
- 44:18Speaker 2: So so just so we're clear, Yeah, Mickhead beat two charges.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Uh yeah, murder wraps.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Yeah, killing his wife.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's got a new a new girlfriend, and
- 44:30Speaker 1: he's yelling at her that he's.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Yelling at Let me tell you what the MD stands for,
- 44:36Speaker 2: makes the decisions. Okay, you got that. I see it
- 44:42Speaker 2: home though.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that woman, that young nurse shouldn't be with Mickhead.
- 44:46Speaker 1: I don't think someone I mean get the dude's gonna
- 44:50Speaker 1: kill you.
- 44:50Speaker 2: He's probably gonna kill you.
- 44:52Speaker 1: I are so many women into Mickhead. I uh, it
- 44:54Speaker 1: must be something great about Mickhead at home because he
- 44:57Speaker 1: keeps even after he beat a couple of murder charts,
- 45:00Speaker 1: does he he's still finding new love?
- 45:05Speaker 2: Well, love is finding him, yes, and sticking around even
- 45:09Speaker 2: after the warnings.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Maybe he's really All the nurses in the hospital.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Are like, girl, don't you know this motherfucker be too?
- 45:15Speaker 2: Murder ups what is you doing?
- 45:19Speaker 1: She's like, I don't give a shit.
- 45:20Speaker 2: I love him.
- 45:22Speaker 1: You don't know what he says to me were we
- 45:23Speaker 1: at home? And then Todd says something so rude to
- 45:28Speaker 1: or sexist or whatever to a nurse and he goes
- 45:31Speaker 1: disrespecting nurses five. So that's our that's our clip of
- 45:37Speaker 1: doctors not treating nurses respect and the nurses are pissed
- 45:41Speaker 1: it at Carla for not they feel she's not advocating
- 45:45Speaker 1: for them.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Yeah, they think because she's friends with a doctor, best
- 45:51Speaker 2: friends with the doctor, and married to a doctor, that
- 45:55Speaker 2: she is a she is a turncoat, a turncoat exactly.
- 46:00Speaker 1: So Cox can't leave his office. Everyone wants to get in,
- 46:03Speaker 1: everyone wants a favor. We've seen this happen with Kelso before,
- 46:06Speaker 1: but Cox is experiencing it for the first time. Krler
- 46:10Speaker 1: wants more nurses. The janitor is trying to annoy him.
- 46:13Speaker 1: The janitor, we learned, has a thing he does with
- 46:16Speaker 1: this photograph of the building where he's always He pesters
- 46:21Speaker 1: anyone who gets an office with trying to hang this
- 46:26Speaker 1: picture or pain. I think it's a photograph that nobody wants.
- 46:29Speaker 1: And he really tries to annoy Cox by constantly hammering
- 46:34Speaker 1: and just I don't know, I don't really understand what
- 46:37Speaker 1: was happening.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Well, he's doing it because he didn't get an office,
- 46:40Speaker 2: and that's why he's in the closet. And ever since
- 46:42Speaker 2: he asked for an office, Kelso's hip to it. Kelso
- 46:45Speaker 2: had figured it out. But anytime someone gets in office
- 46:48Speaker 2: that's bigger than the closet that he's in. Right, he
- 46:52Speaker 2: automatically bothers them by trying to hang a photo and
- 46:56Speaker 2: tries to make their life a living hell with the photo.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Now, if you watch how he's trying to hang this
- 47:01Speaker 1: this this frame, He's got like four nails in the wall,
- 47:04Speaker 1: none of which you can tell are the right nail
- 47:08Speaker 1: for this. So he's just being an annoying And at
- 47:11Speaker 1: one point he hangs it on on fishing line in
- 47:14Speaker 1: the middle of the room and he starts swinging it
- 47:16Speaker 1: and he has a whole bit about how the love
- 47:18Speaker 1: the lookout it's coming towards you. Yeah, it's like it's
- 47:22Speaker 1: got Lenny. I don't even know what the hell he
- 47:24Speaker 1: was talking about.
- 47:25Speaker 2: It's a different it's a different epis, it's a different episode.
- 47:28Speaker 2: It wasn't your favorite, eh.
- 47:30Speaker 1: I mean, I giggled a few times. But I do
- 47:32Speaker 1: think I'm not just saying this because I love you.
- 47:34Speaker 1: I don't think this shows is funny without you.
- 47:37Speaker 2: I'm I'm gonna I'm not gonna lie. I did watch it,
- 47:40Speaker 2: and I did take notes.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Imagine we imagine Webster without Emmanuel Lewis. That's how I
- 47:45Speaker 1: felt with.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Just mister and ma'am.
- 47:49Speaker 1: Yeah, an episode of Webster without Emmanuel Lewis. He's not
- 47:52Speaker 1: an episode of Webster.
- 47:54Speaker 2: No, it's an episode of mister and ma'am. What what
- 48:03Speaker 2: what what?
- 48:04Speaker 1: Here's a bit of trivia for you. How did Webster?
- 48:07Speaker 2: What what?
- 48:08Speaker 1: What? Furniture object disguised Webster's secret passageway to his room.
- 48:16Speaker 2: The food was it? What was it? I don't remember.
- 48:19Speaker 1: It was in the living room and it was what
- 48:21Speaker 1: Webster used to get in and out of his secret passage. Yeah,
- 48:25Speaker 1: it was a grandfather.
- 48:28Speaker 2: I remember that.
- 48:29Speaker 1: I was worried. I'm so proud of you that you
- 48:30Speaker 1: got any of you listeners who got it.
- 48:34Speaker 2: It led to his bedroom.
- 48:36Speaker 1: I think it led to his bedroom, or at least
- 48:37Speaker 1: the upstairs hallway. It was definitely made me as a
- 48:40Speaker 1: kid go oh man. One day, I want to have
- 48:42Speaker 1: a secret passageway behind a clock. To this day, I
- 48:47Speaker 1: still don't have a secret passageway. I really would like one.
- 48:49Speaker 2: I would love I would love to be able to
- 48:51Speaker 2: pull a book and the thing.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Just the classic bookcase. We can't die and not have
- 48:58Speaker 1: had a secret passageway in our lives. I think it
- 49:02Speaker 1: has to be a bucket list for both of us.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Who Dinny had the best? One man? He had like
- 49:06Speaker 2: that whole property in Laurel Canyon that he had underground
- 49:12Speaker 2: passageways and stuff like that so he could do his
- 49:15Speaker 2: magic tricks throughout his house at his parties and.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Stuff like that. That's true. I know that's lore, but
- 49:21Speaker 1: that sounds that sounds incredible. If it's true, I'm.
- 49:23Speaker 2: Choosing to believe it. From what I understand. That whole,
- 49:26Speaker 2: that whole intersection used to be his. I've heard all.
- 49:32Speaker 1: I've heard all these rumors that there's tunnels underneath the
- 49:34Speaker 1: ground to other other houses and all sorts of stuff.
- 49:37Speaker 1: It's all. I don't know if it's a rumor or not.
- 49:41Speaker 2: I mean, if you were the Magic muff, the number
- 49:44Speaker 2: one magic, I bet you go to Copperfield. When you
- 49:46Speaker 2: go to Copperfield's house, He's got a bunch of freaking
- 49:49Speaker 2: secret passages.
- 49:49Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think I'm going to his house.
- 49:52Speaker 1: I'm going to his museum.
- 49:53Speaker 2: But I bet you his museum has a bunch of
- 49:54Speaker 2: secret passages.
- 49:55Speaker 1: I hope so will I will be able to tell
- 49:57Speaker 1: you tonight. I will text you. You'll be a sleep
- 50:00Speaker 1: because yeah, I may ask you a question ahead. If
- 50:04Speaker 1: he does have this stuff, Yeah, how do you think
- 50:08Speaker 1: he can? Like, I mean, I understand he's rich and
- 50:11Speaker 1: stuff like that, but to.
- 50:12Speaker 2: Put to reinfrastruct a whole you know what I mean,
- 50:17Speaker 2: to change the infrastructure of a whole city system. How
- 50:26Speaker 2: much money do you think it would cost to do
- 50:28Speaker 2: something like Bruce Wayne. That's where it gets like a
- 50:30Speaker 2: little crazy, right, Like Bruce Wayne does all of this crazy.
- 50:33Speaker 2: The motherfucker has a tunnel that led from his office,
- 50:37Speaker 2: a shoot a skeet shoot that leads from his office
- 50:41Speaker 2: all the way to the bat cave.
- 50:42Speaker 1: Well, I think you're supposed to imagine that he just
- 50:44Speaker 1: has infinite money, and I think that really I think
- 50:47Speaker 1: I haven't googled it, but I'm told that Copperfield danly
- 50:50Speaker 1: google it for us. I think he's as I understand,
- 50:52Speaker 1: and he is one of the wealthiest single performers INNY.
- 50:57Speaker 2: I know, That's what I'm saying. So if he does
- 50:59Speaker 2: have this shit, if he if anyone's gonna have it,
- 51:02Speaker 2: it's gonna be him.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I know he owns an island, which is the which
- 51:05Speaker 1: is your first badass move as a as a zillionaire?
- 51:08Speaker 1: You got to have that island. Right, If you buy
- 51:11Speaker 1: an island, you gotta have an If you got that
- 51:14Speaker 1: kind of money, you gotta have an island. Did you
- 51:16Speaker 1: see the Bezos. So Bezos built this five hundred million
- 51:19Speaker 1: dollars sailboat, right, and it's it's enormous. It's like the
- 51:23Speaker 1: biggest private sailboat and uh, you know whatever, it's a
- 51:26Speaker 1: five hundred sailboat. Yeah, he puts sales on it. I mean,
- 51:30Speaker 1: it's a sailboat. It looks like you know anyway the
- 51:32Speaker 1: point looks like a pirate ship. No, it's it just
- 51:35Speaker 1: looks like a giant sailboat. But here's the thing. The
- 51:40Speaker 1: boat needs a support yacht. There's so many people needed
- 51:44Speaker 1: to run it, and there's so many and and so
- 51:48Speaker 1: much other needs to support the five hundred million dollar
- 51:52Speaker 1: boat that it has a seventy five million dollar yacht
- 51:55Speaker 1: that follows it. The support, the services needed.
- 52:00Speaker 2: What make Yeah, you can do so this look if
- 52:04Speaker 2: you got if I'm asking all the all of our
- 52:07Speaker 2: listeners too. If you were given a crap ton of money,
- 52:10Speaker 2: right and they were like, you can't spend it on
- 52:13Speaker 2: world peace, and you can't spend it on saving.
- 52:15Speaker 1: It has to be spent on something stupid. You go ahead, right, we.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Would you spend I would me personally, I would spend
- 52:21Speaker 2: it on like a doomsday.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Doomsday bunker, like like like a James Bond villain like
- 52:26Speaker 1: doctor something like.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Something that other than the earth blowing to bits, I'm
- 52:33Speaker 2: going to survive that ship.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I love the idea. I don't know, there's something I
- 52:38Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know what I would do. I'd
- 52:39Speaker 1: definitely like and I'd probably go with a Copperfield Island
- 52:44Speaker 1: and I'd call it Copperfield Island. Cockfield Island would be saying, I, Dannel,
- 52:49Speaker 1: did you find out the answer?
- 52:51Speaker 3: I'm kind of getting mixed messages on exactly the answer,
- 52:54Speaker 3: but I did find some very interesting information. Here's a question.
- 52:58Speaker 3: How many shows do you think David Copperfield does per year?
- 53:01Speaker 1: I heard he does like I know he does to
- 53:04Speaker 1: a day, I think, so let's call that fourteen a week.
- 53:08Speaker 1: What's fourteen times fifty two? Danil, You're smart.
- 53:13Speaker 3: I'm better at doing two times three hundred and sixty five,
- 53:15Speaker 3: so that would be a little over like seven thirty. Basically,
- 53:19Speaker 3: it's not quite that many, but he does five hundred
- 53:22Speaker 3: and fifteen shows a year.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Yeah, he's yeah, yeah.
- 53:27Speaker 2: And fill up if you could fill up for theater
- 53:30Speaker 2: that many times.
- 53:30Speaker 1: It sold out every night, it's sold out.
- 53:32Speaker 2: If you could fill up a theater that many times, Yeah,
- 53:34Speaker 2: you're doing something.
- 53:35Speaker 1: It's sold out every night.
- 53:36Speaker 3: Yes, he is individually worth a billion dollars. He gets
- 53:40Speaker 3: sixty million a year from the performances alone, and then
- 53:45Speaker 3: everything else is like merchandise or stuff with his name
- 53:48Speaker 3: on it, or like licensing residuals. Yeah, licensing and residuals
- 53:52Speaker 3: and stuff like that.
- 53:53Speaker 2: You gotta really love magic to do that many shows
- 53:56Speaker 2: a year man continuously.
- 53:58Speaker 1: It's his passion.
- 53:59Speaker 2: It's like you say, like, you know, you like he
- 54:02Speaker 2: must be trying to raise the dead or something like
- 54:04Speaker 2: for real, for real, like he must be trying to
- 54:07Speaker 2: do that Tesla situation in the Prestige, Like straight up, man, do.
- 54:12Speaker 1: You remember we were kids and he made the Statue
- 54:13Speaker 1: of Liberty disappear? What?
- 54:17Speaker 2: Yeah? I do remember that? That?
- 54:19Speaker 1: What's that?
- 54:20Speaker 2: Was that him that did that?
- 54:21Speaker 1: Yeah? There was a television special in primetime, I believe,
- 54:24Speaker 1: and it was David Copperfield makes the Statue of disappear
- 54:27Speaker 1: in front of a live audience.
- 54:32Speaker 2: It was exactly.
- 54:33Speaker 1: That was like a big moment in.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Our child if you live in New York, they I mean,
- 54:38Speaker 2: I don't I don't remember. How didn't they cover the
- 54:39Speaker 2: Statue of Liberty or something. I don't remember what. I
- 54:42Speaker 2: don't know.
- 54:42Speaker 1: I think I remember that. I remember, I think I
- 54:45Speaker 1: remember finding out how he did it. But I'm not
- 54:46Speaker 1: going to blow anyone's secrets on a podcast.
- 54:48Speaker 2: I also remember when they put that freaking balloon of
- 54:52Speaker 2: King Kong on the Empire State Building too. I don't
- 54:55Speaker 2: remember what was that for, just to just to I
- 54:59Speaker 2: don't know what the purpose of it was, but they
- 55:01Speaker 2: put a balloon of King Kong on an Empire State
- 55:07Speaker 2: Building and that ship was up there for like at
- 55:09Speaker 2: least a year. I feel like I just remember being like, damn,
- 55:12Speaker 2: that shit is still up there.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Do you know that the lights and colors of the
- 55:16Speaker 1: Empire State Building are different every night and you can
- 55:18Speaker 1: look up on a website that tells you why they're
- 55:20Speaker 1: that color each night. Oh that's cool.
- 55:22Speaker 2: I didn't know that they the lights had significance.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Yeah, they're always honoring. Sometimes it would be something like
- 55:28Speaker 1: to honor you know, you know, some union that is
- 55:31Speaker 1: celebrating you know, it's sometimes something you wouldn't necessarily know obviously,
- 55:35Speaker 1: like it's gonna be green on Saint Patrick's Day. But
- 55:37Speaker 1: like sometimes it's like you know, in honor of something
- 55:40Speaker 1: you would never know, but you can always look at.
- 55:41Speaker 2: It's actually pretty romantic if you could, if you could
- 55:44Speaker 2: pay for I do that for you.
- 55:46Speaker 1: But all I have to do is I have to
- 55:47Speaker 1: all have to do is look up what the colors
- 55:48Speaker 1: are going to be tonight, Like, oh, they're gonna be
- 55:50Speaker 1: blue and yellow. Like, hey, Donald, because I know that
- 55:53Speaker 1: you love blue and yellow.
- 55:53Speaker 2: I paid to have it because his favorite color is
- 55:56Speaker 2: yellow in your favorite color. You just have to fight.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you just have to find a reason. Funny, Heyboddy,
- 56:02Speaker 1: tonight they're gonna be turquoise and brown. And I know
- 56:05Speaker 1: you love turkois and brown. I don't love. I don't
- 56:07Speaker 1: love turkoise and brown. Oh I wasted all this money,
- 56:15Speaker 1: all ritual to break. When we come back, we will
- 56:17Speaker 1: finish up an episode of Scrub. Is that Donald is
- 56:20Speaker 1: not in the fuck.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Your sound Effects Machine. Wo woo woo woo woo woo
- 56:30Speaker 2: woo woot woot.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Tank Forever and Rebert Zach Zach's Zacha love you. I'm
- 56:38Speaker 1: down girl. Please.
- 56:39Speaker 2: I laughed my ass off when Ted walked in and
- 56:41Speaker 2: saw Kelso.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that was funny.
- 56:43Speaker 2: And then he passes out, yeah and sleeps for eight hours.
- 56:46Speaker 1: He had like eighteen hours.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Eighteen hours.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Kelso said, whenever, whenever he gets this upset
- 56:52Speaker 1: after I startle him, Uh, he'll usually sleep for eighteen
- 56:55Speaker 1: hours and.
- 56:56Speaker 2: They pet him and he's like a little puppy on
- 56:59Speaker 2: the couch. And this said said the moment that you realized,
- 57:02Speaker 2: oh Kelso still Kelso did have a little bit of
- 57:06Speaker 2: care for and it's hard for for Ted.
- 57:09Speaker 1: No, barely. I mean he treated him like a dog.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Earlier we skipped it, but he used to. He starts,
- 57:14Speaker 1: he bends over when when when Cox is about to
- 57:17Speaker 1: start signing contracts or whatever paperwork and he and he goes,
- 57:21Speaker 1: what the hell you doing? Ted? He's like, oh, Kelso
- 57:23Speaker 1: liked to sign his paperwork on my back and uh,
- 57:29Speaker 1: and he goes, it's not that bad. It's I imagine it's.
- 57:31Speaker 2: What a what a hug feels like, I'm not hugging you, Ted,
- 57:36Speaker 2: I'm not hugging.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Oh man. So you know Kelso, there's this long walk
- 57:47Speaker 1: and talk with Kelso and JD. Where you know, Kelso
- 57:51Speaker 1: basically says to JD, look, okay, I'm going to give
- 57:54Speaker 1: you the keys to the castle here. I'm going to
- 57:56Speaker 1: give you the behind the scenes information you need, and
- 58:00Speaker 1: that is that you have to keep pushing Cox. Whenever
- 58:03Speaker 1: Cox wouldn't relent on me, even though I knew, even
- 58:08Speaker 1: though I had to fake like I was pissed at him,
- 58:12Speaker 1: I knew that he was passionately advocating for patients, and
- 58:15Speaker 1: I knew when he wouldn't give up that I would
- 58:17Speaker 1: ultimately relent. And if you want to do that, you
- 58:20Speaker 1: have to be that guy for Cox. So you really
- 58:23Speaker 1: see everyone's sort of changing roles now as JD becomes
- 58:27Speaker 1: the Cox, as Cox became the Kelso.
- 58:31Speaker 2: It also shows you how, you know, in order to
- 58:36Speaker 2: maintain some form of humanity, Kelso really needed Cox too,
- 58:41Speaker 2: And this is something that was never talked about on
- 58:44Speaker 2: the show. You know, he said no to so many people,
- 58:46Speaker 2: and you know, he became such a great chief of
- 58:52Speaker 2: medicine for the hospital, not necessarily for the patients, but
- 58:56Speaker 2: if Cox hadn't always pushed him to do to advocate
- 59:02Speaker 2: for the patients, Kelso might have lost himself in the
- 59:06Speaker 2: hospital and never made it out. And it's this and
- 59:11Speaker 2: he's giving j D that same conversation. Listen, he's going
- 59:16Speaker 2: down a dark path and he and it's it's very
- 59:20Speaker 2: much like Star Wars. And he did it for the
- 59:22Speaker 2: greater good. Vader did it for the greater good to
- 59:24Speaker 2: save the woman he loved. But at the end of
- 59:27Speaker 2: the day, you know, it will consume him, and it will,
- 59:33Speaker 2: it will, can it will, It'll make him into the
- 59:36Speaker 2: person that Kelso became. In order for there to be
- 59:39Speaker 2: a light at the end of the tunnel, there has
- 59:41Speaker 2: to be somebody who was consistently in his face telling him,
- 59:47Speaker 2: you know, what you're doing is wrong and the patients
- 59:50Speaker 2: are what makes this hospital not the hospital.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Right. It could be it could be said Donald that
- 59:56Speaker 1: he's showing him, he's he's being the uh, the light
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: side of the force to the dark side of the forest.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: He's come full Anakin. He went to the dark side,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: he's come back to the light side, and he's warning
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: the new apprentice.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: By the way, Kelseo became a much better man the
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: second he quit.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Yeah, all of that, dude, just think about all of
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: a pressure, a freaking.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: All having to be the bad guy, having to be
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: a bad guy for everybody.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: To everyone, and I want and and and and and
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: I bet you at one point he hated it, like
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: the way Cox hates it. But then eventually he loved it.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: He'd learned to love it. It's like an acchoir taste,
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: like coffee. Remember your first time tasting coffee, and be like,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I will never drink that shit again, And then all
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: of a sudden, you just kept drinking it.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Although we should mention that he does, he does put
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: on doctor's coat so he can score free morning after
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: pills from the pharmacy.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: I didn't say he was the saint, just.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: We're just saying that he's turned a corner. And we
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: forgot to mention that he throws on a lab coat
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: so he can score free morning after pills from the pharmacy.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: What is he doing with those morning after pills?
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Well, we know that he likes working. No, he likes
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: working gals. That's very clear.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: He does like the working gals.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: I guess he's also not using protection with the working gals.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's I think it's safe to imply
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: that if he's needing, needing so many, so many doses
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: of the Morning of the Morning, we don't sket.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Skeet, skeet, skeets meet skeet skeet, skeating all over the place.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: It all comes back to skating, Donald, Is that what
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: you're saying.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, all right.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Lastly, Elliott clears it up with the nurse Barb who's
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: nurse who's a kickboxer, who was threatening to beat her up.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: In the parking lot because of the way she spoke
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: to her.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Yeah, she apologizes and and and says that she's going
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to be more respectful of the nurses.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: And she also tells him, look, you got to use
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Carla as the she's the bridge man. And I get it.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: You know that you feel like we are disrespectful to
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: you guys, And I will try my best to change
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: and everything like that. But if you really have issues
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: and stuff like that and things that you want to
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: get done, you have to use Carla because she's she's
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: got your back and she's the only one that's connected
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: to all of us.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Yeah, she's the liaison. Liaison.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: And then you know, and then JD girl some respect.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: JD finally passionately fights for mister Vaughan and gets what
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: he wants, just as Kelso said he would from from Cox.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: And that's the show. And that's the episode of Scrubs.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Everybody bring Donald Faison back to the program. Ay Man,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: that's my chant, that's my chant.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: You know what I've been thinking about me Dian and
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Ai fucking being in Star Wars, my Ai being Now
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: you said on the last episode week all week, all week,
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: which is now two weeks because we shoot, we record
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: these about a week before they come out.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: And we don't record them on a Thursday, and they
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: come out on a Tuesday.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: It's almost a week.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Do you have any advice for me? On Blackjack? Hit
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I hit on twenty right.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: Always bet on black No on blackjack?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Yeah, hit on sixteen.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to hit on the sixteen.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Always assume that the.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: Less unless they're showing like a three, four, five or six.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Then you stay okay on announce because you're assuming that
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: they have they have a face.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Card or underneath. And so then when they flip over
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: with thirteen and they hit right, even if they get
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: a nine on that, that's one too many.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: But you have to always assume that their face card,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: that their card down is a ten. Right, always assume that,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: okay and uh, and I can always ask them. They
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: they will tell you what the book says.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: Some people will, some people won't.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Dependent I never met a dealer. If you're like, what
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: does the book say, I've never met a dealer that
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: doesn't tell you.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: It's really funny to me. Do you No? They won't
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: say no, but there's something that have at Oh the
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: book says you should hit. Oh God, I've just hit.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I don't play that much. But when I feel like
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: they're mostly cool and want to help and her friendly,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: because that's something they want.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: They just want that money.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: They want you to drink, right, well, they want to
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: They want you to tip them, so that's why they're
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: more likely to help you. Right.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Remember those chips are actual money, Zach, Just remember that.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm so inspired by this documentary. I think I
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: might try.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Counting get kicked out a day.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: To get kicked out a seven, I would dare you
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: to get kicked out of it without any training. I'm
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: going to try and count a seven deck. Shoot you
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: can do it, and my mind and my mind Okay,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I think there's been two queens. These dudes are these
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: dudes have a whole method by which they keep track
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: of that many decks. It's incredible.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: What if you count out loud, What if you're like, okay,
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: that was five queens? Right, guys, It's like.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: They kicked my will they kick me out with the
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: whole table. I'm all right, I'm gonna keep track of queens.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: You keep track of kings, right, I'll make friends.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: How many aces is that, Jim? That's seven aces? Seven aces?
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Susie, why are you leaving? You're you're in charge of
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: counting the twos together? She's like, I'm broke. I just
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: lost all my money. You're counting that toes? Get back here? Well,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: how many if you're gonna leave? How many two's were there?
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: Are? All right?
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: That's our show.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Nobody today. There's nobody calling in, and there's nobody and
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: no Joelle. We don't have Joel, No Joel. Dan blew
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: it all right.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: I want to say, to be.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Fair, this isn't your job, Dan Donald's.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Donald's gonna forget this. But I just want to say
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: June tenth in Seattle.
