- 0:10Speaker 3: Sure, it's warm and it's about that in the studio
- 0:13Speaker 3: already this morning.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I'm already a little moist.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Come, put your fingers under my armpits here. Yeah, it's
- 0:20Speaker 3: good luck pheromones.
- 0:22Speaker 5: You know what.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I'll take my chances and smell them.
- 0:26Speaker 2: It's pheromones. It's good luck. Sure, rub your fingers in
- 0:31Speaker 2: my armpits and make a wish. I'm like June. Guys.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Makes well, we're back at it, getting ready to have
- 0:39Speaker 3: a stupid show today, stupid fun.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Katie, You doing all right?
- 0:44Speaker 5: I'm okay, all right.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I just want to make sure I know.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you for checking in. Things are Yeah.
- 0:50Speaker 3: This is uh what's the thing when they send the
- 0:53Speaker 3: cops to your house to check on your check or welfare?
- 0:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a welfare check. Yeah, I'm okay, doing all right.
- 1:00Speaker 1: The sun came up another day, or at least it's
- 1:02Speaker 1: probably sure. I'm sure, yes it did'nny things keep going,
- 1:07Speaker 1: world keeps spinning.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Okay, we are Katie's Katie had a bad experience with
- 1:11Speaker 3: the dude this weekend.
- 1:13Speaker 2: So just just checking in on you now.
- 1:15Speaker 3: The amount of people that approached me yesterday, even my
- 1:18Speaker 3: own mother, it was.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Like, is Katie doing okay? My gosh, she's fine, she'll
- 1:25Speaker 2: bounce back.
- 1:25Speaker 1: The funniest thing to me is while I was telling
- 1:28Speaker 1: my story, the text line was going crazy with Katie
- 1:32Speaker 1: and Josh, you.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Better give her a hug right now because she is
- 1:35Speaker 6: not over. I'm sorry.
- 1:38Speaker 2: You can hug Katie hu.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I hug myself all day. But yeah, there was definitely
- 1:43Speaker 1: some concern for me yesterday. But I'm okay, I'm all right,
- 1:45Speaker 1: I'm doing it right.
- 1:47Speaker 4: It's just feel like you said that renewed sense of
- 1:49Speaker 4: like self worth and happiness and be like, I've got this.
- 1:51Speaker 5: I'm gonna take on the world. I don't need no
- 1:52Speaker 5: man like that.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I just lay on the couch and get we're working
- 1:55Speaker 2: towards that.
- 1:55Speaker 6: We're not quite there yet, but you know it's like.
- 1:58Speaker 2: She's on the lay on the couch and its stone
- 2:00Speaker 2: face that.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Last part time is absolutely right, working through this one
- 2:06Speaker 1: ft in front of the other.
- 2:09Speaker 6: It's funny like yeah.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well let me shift to the right here, Josh,
- 2:13Speaker 2: are you doing okay?
- 2:15Speaker 3: I'm great, Okay, because I saw some pictures of you
- 2:17Speaker 3: last night with that.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Stupid hip packed person. Again, are you doing all right?
- 2:22Speaker 5: You know what?
- 2:22Speaker 2: Did you get?
- 2:22Speaker 5: Beat?
- 2:25Speaker 4: No, I got, I got compliments on it. Actually I
- 2:29Speaker 4: wore it, and I honestly did wear it kind of
- 2:31Speaker 4: specifically for you because of what you said yesterday on
- 2:33Speaker 4: the show just about how silly you think it is.
- 2:36Speaker 5: It's ridiculous.
- 2:37Speaker 4: And I started out the night wearing it like a
- 2:40Speaker 4: normal person, like a normal Fannie Pack. And then I
- 2:42Speaker 4: knew that pictures were going to be taken at the
- 2:43Speaker 4: event that I was at, and I was like, I'm
- 2:45Speaker 4: going to do this, and I'm going to post it
- 2:47Speaker 4: and I'm going to see what I saw it. And
- 2:49Speaker 4: it took ten seconds for me to walk in here
- 2:52Speaker 4: and have you be like.
- 2:54Speaker 6: What this morning?
- 2:58Speaker 5: It holds everything.
- 3:00Speaker 4: It's so nice and Jared, this is the difference. When
- 3:02Speaker 4: it's on, it's across your chest, you can read. It's
- 3:05Speaker 4: so much more accessible, so much more access. Can I
- 3:10Speaker 4: say something?
- 3:12Speaker 5: Okay?
- 3:12Speaker 4: But no, no, not the nail polish. But I did
- 3:15Speaker 4: end up going to the Hillary Duff concert last night.
- 3:17Speaker 4: It looked fun, amazing. I had not been to Red
- 3:20Speaker 4: Rocks in a long time. Always forget the hike that
- 3:22Speaker 4: it is to get up there, and it's just wow,
- 3:24Speaker 4: huffing and puffing. But one thing that is interesting to
- 3:27Speaker 4: me was I was able to bring the fanny pack
- 3:30Speaker 4: in there. They allow a little small bag and I
- 3:32Speaker 4: brought it up there and I had all like my
- 3:34Speaker 4: wallet and some chapstick and not nail polish, but I
- 3:37Speaker 4: had a pack of gum and I did not know.
- 3:41Speaker 3: No gum'll ruin It'll.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Ruin it for everybody, because I brought a full brand,
- 3:47Speaker 4: like I had just taken the plastic wrapping off, and
- 3:49Speaker 4: I'm like, hey, to think, but need some gum? Anybody
- 3:50Speaker 4: need some gum? And this I mean, I got tracked
- 3:52Speaker 4: down under the seats. I get it, because you know
- 3:56Speaker 4: people will totally totally understand that. But I was so bummed.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I was like, I had not even taken a piece
- 4:01Speaker 4: out of.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It, yet you gotta smuggle it in in your buttcheet.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I got cracked. I didn't know that. And they went
- 4:06Speaker 2: out told me.
- 4:07Speaker 3: That gum after that, and then you're like, who wants
- 4:09Speaker 3: that is not public gum?
- 4:12Speaker 6: After that?
- 4:13Speaker 1: Secret have been flagged for that too, And that is
- 4:17Speaker 1: an important p s A We get out there into
- 4:19Speaker 1: the community.
- 4:20Speaker 6: Don't no gum gum into Red Rocks. They will take
- 4:22Speaker 6: it from you.
- 4:23Speaker 1: You could, they should, she should, but I don't think
- 4:26Speaker 1: a lot of people know that.
- 4:27Speaker 6: You click it in And I'm the same.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I had like a full pack of gum when I
- 4:30Speaker 1: went in there, and I was like, no, I don't
- 4:32Speaker 1: want to.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Give you my Can you imagine the thousands of people
- 4:35Speaker 3: that come in and out of there, and if they
- 4:36Speaker 3: all had gum, you.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Know where it would end up. You understand, I'm.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Not arguing, but like she looked at my fanny pack
- 4:42Speaker 4: and it looked like I true.
- 4:43Speaker 5: Like she looked at me like I brought a knife,
- 4:45Speaker 5: and she was like, no, good.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Well no, she got flagged because she's like, here's a
- 4:49Speaker 3: grown ass man wearing a fanny pack across the only
- 4:52Speaker 3: one I know a smuggling nothing with that that they
- 4:57Speaker 3: have alarms to go off.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Nerder Tom Brady has.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Been flirting lately with the idea of doing a match
- 5:06Speaker 3: in the WWE. Now it seems like he's setting it
- 5:12Speaker 3: up because he did slap Logan Paul at an event
- 5:16Speaker 3: last week, and then on Sunday during the World Cup Final,
- 5:20Speaker 3: Brady and Paul were flipping each other off and taking
- 5:23Speaker 3: verbal shots at each other, and this has been kind
- 5:25Speaker 3: of going on for months, a little back and forth.
- 5:28Speaker 3: So they're thinking this is a big setup for Tom
- 5:31Speaker 3: Brady to become a very successful WWE superstar now alongside
- 5:38Speaker 3: Logan Paul.
- 5:39Speaker 5: He is so bored? Is he going to hang it
- 5:41Speaker 5: outter retirement?
- 5:43Speaker 2: That's the thing. What is he trying to do right now?
- 5:46Speaker 3: Like, I mean, maybe he's just trying to stay incredibly relevant,
- 5:49Speaker 3: because I think Logan Paul.
- 5:51Speaker 6: Is very relevant right now.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Is Yeah, there's a guy on Barstool Sports that was
- 5:55Speaker 3: that was talking about him. He says, what is happening
- 5:58Speaker 3: with Tom Brady post retirement? What is happening is one
- 6:01Speaker 3: of the greatest downfalls of an icon. His legacy is
- 6:06Speaker 3: being lameified. Everything about him is cringey right now. Yeah,
- 6:10Speaker 3: and that's kind of spot on.
- 6:12Speaker 6: He's kind of taken the John Cena route. We're probably
- 6:14Speaker 6: gonna see him in b movies.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Well, he's doing all these roasts now too Comedy Central,
- 6:20Speaker 3: and he's not funny.
- 6:21Speaker 5: He's gonna be like he's never like Peyton Manning in that.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Yeah, and everything he's saying is not very classy to me,
- 6:26Speaker 3: Like even I know the roasts are roast, but it's
- 6:28Speaker 3: like it's not Tom Brady to me.
- 6:30Speaker 1: It's gonna be endorse and sham wow. Next I might
- 6:34Speaker 1: be okay with seen on TV. Stuff is so absorbing,
- 6:37Speaker 1: absorbably so absorbing.
- 6:39Speaker 2: What else is going on, Josh?
- 6:40Speaker 4: Well, hey, Card collecting has long been a pastime for
- 6:43Speaker 4: children since like the seventies, eighties, nineties, and even before then.
- 6:46Speaker 4: It got really popularized in the nineties as well with Pokemon.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Pokemon became really popular and trading cards did as well. Well,
- 6:52Speaker 4: I feel like it kind of died out for at
- 6:54Speaker 4: least my generation in the late two thousands and then
- 6:58Speaker 4: through the twenty tens, but then COVID nineteen happened and
- 7:01Speaker 4: it forced you know, everybody to stay home, and that's
- 7:03Speaker 4: when card collecting really started to take off again. In fact,
- 7:06Speaker 4: like cards that were really worth around one thousand bucks
- 7:09Speaker 4: in twenty twenty became so highly valued even to around
- 7:13Speaker 4: ten thousand dollars just in twenty twenty one. So that
- 7:16Speaker 4: being said, kids are starting to really enjoy this again.
- 7:19Speaker 4: And I love this because like Tops, the brand, Yeah,
- 7:22Speaker 4: that sell a bunch of these cards which are sports
- 7:23Speaker 4: cards which I collected, like the football cards, the baseball cards,
- 7:26Speaker 4: all that stuff that I collected as a kid. They're
- 7:28Speaker 4: now going for upwards of millions and millions of dollars
- 7:32Speaker 4: and all you gotta do is buy a pack and
- 7:34Speaker 4: find it. And I think that gives all these little
- 7:36Speaker 4: kids hope that have a reporter or whatever.
- 7:39Speaker 5: And this just proved my point. Yesterday. Yesterday at a
- 7:42Speaker 5: Fanatics fan.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Fest, a little child who is I believe eight years old,
- 7:47Speaker 4: was able to spend seventy five cents seventy five cents
- 7:51Speaker 4: in a vending machine for a tops card and he
- 7:53Speaker 4: found a one of one Shohei o Tani card.
- 7:57Speaker 5: It was signed, and he gets.
- 7:59Speaker 6: Signed in a corn card.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Yes, it's already valued at eight thousand to ten thousand dollars.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Good for this little kid eight years old found it
- 8:07Speaker 5: and he shows his dad.
- 8:08Speaker 4: The video is adorable if you can find it on
- 8:10Speaker 4: social media, it's everywhere.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Right now.
- 8:12Speaker 4: He pulls out this card and he goes, oh, Dad,
- 8:13Speaker 4: I got show hey o Taani and his dad grabs
- 8:16Speaker 4: it and the face he just oh like he takes
- 8:19Speaker 4: it from when the kid like wants the card back
- 8:21Speaker 4: and he's like.
- 8:21Speaker 2: No, no, no shows the kid to the side.
- 8:23Speaker 1: All right, it's so funny to protect protect true, he.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Knows the value and Jared, like your son loves collecting
- 8:30Speaker 4: Pokemon cards, keep him doing it because seriously, if you
- 8:33Speaker 4: find those gems.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I want him to have a girlfriend.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Okay, what.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Grandchildren or know that's true?
- 8:42Speaker 5: Or do you want to make it rich?
- 8:44Speaker 2: I want him to have friends. We're going to pass
- 8:47Speaker 2: on that.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Well, never mind, but the card collecting is cool. Cool.
- 8:51Speaker 5: There you go.
- 8:51Speaker 2: There's your sports update.
- 8:53Speaker 6: We've got receipts, We've got druma, We've got Denver talking.
- 8:58Speaker 6: It's the mile High High JKJ Legends and icon on
- 9:03Speaker 6: one hundred.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Well, Kelly Clarkson just kicked off her Las Vegas residency
- 9:08Speaker 3: with some major tummy troubles.
- 9:11Speaker 2: She was joking at Saturday Night show.
- 9:14Speaker 3: That she thought she caught the uh psyclosporasis or whatever
- 9:19Speaker 3: that Oh no, it's called the lettuce farts. Is here
- 9:25Speaker 3: talking to the crowd about this during the show.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I was like, oh my god.
- 9:30Speaker 6: And I get back to my room and I have
- 9:32Speaker 6: never been so happy.
- 9:33Speaker 5: There's not a man.
- 9:34Speaker 4: In the room.
- 9:36Speaker 3: I was. And you know the part wherein is over
- 9:41Speaker 3: your like and he have to be over No.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Wow.
- 9:47Speaker 3: She went on to say that it was worse than
- 9:49Speaker 3: that infamous Bridesmaid's scene where the girl goes in the sink.
- 9:53Speaker 4: You know. It's like me, like, hey, leave it up
- 9:58Speaker 4: to her to make a lord sound good though I.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Knew Kelly Clarkson sings when she finds I knew it.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Well, thank you for that overshare, Kelly clarks Yeah, the
- 10:14Speaker 3: crowd seem to love it.
- 10:15Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Another thing that AI is ruining, apparently according to.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Who's Steve Irwin's son, Robert Robert.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Robert was pointing out that it is ruining wildlife photography
- 10:29Speaker 3: because now people are creating all these AI wildlife images.
- 10:34Speaker 3: He's like, his specific example was like an eagle writing
- 10:37Speaker 3: an elephants. People are coming up with all these crazy
- 10:43Speaker 3: scenarios with animals via AI.
- 10:45Speaker 2: The photos look incredibly realistic.
- 10:48Speaker 3: He's like, and then you see the actual, amazing real
- 10:51Speaker 3: photo and it's diluted. You're kind of like, eh, okay,
- 10:54Speaker 3: here's a buffalo in the wild.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I know whatever, there's not an eagle writing is back.
- 10:59Speaker 6: He makes a really good point. They're rooney nature photos
- 11:02Speaker 6: for us.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Yeah, So there you go. I haven't created any animal
- 11:07Speaker 2: AI pictures. It's mostly just me doing stupid stuff. I
- 11:11Speaker 2: think I should make one to me on the back
- 11:13Speaker 2: of an America.
- 11:14Speaker 6: You're the elephant.
- 11:16Speaker 1: On the back of an elephant might be Yeah, pretty
- 11:19Speaker 1: good things.
- 11:19Speaker 2: My buttons were working. I know I have an eagle sound.
- 11:22Speaker 2: I'm hitting the button right now, over and over. I
- 11:24Speaker 2: got nothing here.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Off the eagle.
- 11:32Speaker 2: For God's sakes, hugem. Nothing ever works in this studio.
- 11:35Speaker 2: We got brand new equipment. Nothing ever works. One final thing.
- 11:40Speaker 3: An electronics repair shop is seeing a surge of phones
- 11:44Speaker 3: and tablets with moisture damage right now. Why people are
- 11:49Speaker 3: trying to beat the heat by putting them in refrigerators
- 11:53Speaker 3: and freezers to cool them down, Especially if you've been
- 11:57Speaker 3: using your phone or tablet outside. It's getting really, really hot.
- 12:00Speaker 3: So these brainiacs are like, I got to get these
- 12:02Speaker 3: in the house immediately and put them in the fridge.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Don't do that?
- 12:07Speaker 6: Yeah, right, that's the thought process.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Did you do that?
- 12:11Speaker 3: An actual news story about people putting their phones and
- 12:15Speaker 3: tablets and refrigerators.
- 12:17Speaker 5: Stupid that she doesn't do that?
- 12:23Speaker 2: What else going?
- 12:24Speaker 1: A lot of people in Denver upset about their Odyssey
- 12:27Speaker 1: experience so huge mass apparently for moviegoers at specifically the
- 12:32Speaker 1: regal Ua Colorado Center in Denver, they were unable to
- 12:36Speaker 1: see the most exclusive version of that film. Now, we've
- 12:39Speaker 1: talked about that where the Christopher Nolan, the director of
- 12:43Speaker 1: the Odyssey, he shot the movie using seventy millimeter films
- 12:46Speaker 1: specifically for it to be shown in seventy millimeter IMAX theaters. Now,
- 12:52Speaker 1: theaters around the country they've been experiencing these technical difficulties
- 12:56Speaker 1: during film showings, and this is the one right here locally.
- 12:59Speaker 1: The problems occurred with the digital projection of the film.
- 13:02Speaker 1: So a lot of people were like, yeah, thirty minutes
- 13:04Speaker 1: in the picture cut, all we heard was the sound.
- 13:07Speaker 1: It was a mess, And like so many people wanted
- 13:10Speaker 1: to see this film at this specific theater.
- 13:12Speaker 5: Is this the one that's the actual the actually imax?
- 13:15Speaker 1: And so they were talking about how when it happened,
- 13:19Speaker 1: they had to transfer the film from digital or to
- 13:22Speaker 1: digital sent as a digital file to those theaters, and
- 13:25Speaker 1: some of those theaters projectors couldn't handle that original file and.
- 13:29Speaker 2: That's why to put them in the freezer.
- 13:31Speaker 1: That's it, you know what, Jeremy, They didn't have that
- 13:33Speaker 1: in the rundown. So maybe they missed that step. But
- 13:35Speaker 1: a lot of people who wanted to go see this
- 13:37Speaker 1: movie are saying that they paid the money to see it,
- 13:40Speaker 1: they got babysitters, you know what I mean, and then
- 13:42Speaker 1: it was completely went to craps. So yeah, there's a
- 13:46Speaker 1: lot of people who were on social media just complaining
- 13:48Speaker 1: about it.
- 13:48Speaker 5: Those tickets are so expensive.
- 13:51Speaker 1: It like you if you go and you pay, like,
- 13:53Speaker 1: you know, fifty to eighty dollars to see a movie
- 13:55Speaker 1: and then it doesn't even work.
- 13:57Speaker 6: I know, I'd be pretty upset about it too.
- 13:59Speaker 1: And it's not as easy as well just go another day,
- 14:02Speaker 1: because again, a lot of people get a lot of
- 14:03Speaker 1: things in order to go see these things. And yeah,
- 14:06Speaker 1: so a lot of people are complaining about it. Hey,
- 14:08Speaker 1: maybe this will make them happy. The Denver Colfax Marathon,
- 14:11Speaker 1: DA and United Airlines, they're all partnering up to give
- 14:15Speaker 1: runners the unique experience of running a race on an
- 14:18Speaker 1: airport runway and oh get this, it's called the five
- 14:21Speaker 1: k on the Runway. Scheduled for Saturday, September twelfth, runners
- 14:25Speaker 1: are going to be there at seven am and it's
- 14:27Speaker 1: a sunrise five.
- 14:28Speaker 6: K on a runway out at DIA.
- 14:31Speaker 2: That makes us reading about it.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Yes, DIA's longest runway is about three and a half
- 14:35Speaker 4: three point two miles.
- 14:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Well, the thing I was reading about it too is
- 14:38Speaker 3: they're not going to shut it down. They're still going
- 14:39Speaker 3: to be letting planes land and take off from that runway.
- 14:42Speaker 3: So they're going to make it a very unique experience
- 14:44Speaker 3: for these runners.
- 14:45Speaker 1: We'll see and the only it's only been done one
- 14:47Speaker 1: other time out at DA in twenty twenty two.
- 14:50Speaker 6: That event sold out in thirteen hours.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I mean people were just got a zigzag. Yeah these moves,
- 14:56Speaker 2: you know.
- 14:56Speaker 6: So they're just landing it on the runway.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they're not.
- 15:01Speaker 6: They're doing it over the.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Name of this event is called the Splat four K.
- 15:05Speaker 6: Okay, that's not it.
- 15:06Speaker 5: That's not it.
- 15:08Speaker 2: A different airport.
- 15:08Speaker 6: Registration is underway. It actually started at five.
- 15:11Speaker 1: This morning and there are only twenty five hundred spots available.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So run colfax dot or go there get registered if
- 15:18Speaker 1: this is something that you're interested in, because again these.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Are gonna fillip quick.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Let's get this bird on the grid.
- 15:23Speaker 1: We want to go to this five k on the runway,
- 15:25Speaker 1: so make sure you go get registered for that and
- 15:28Speaker 1: then this was such an interesting story to me because
- 15:30Speaker 1: I heard about that commuter train through Denver right the
- 15:33Speaker 1: Colorado Connector. I think they're gonna call it Coco or something,
- 15:36Speaker 1: the Coco train.
- 15:38Speaker 6: But it's a proposed passion passenger rail service.
- 15:41Speaker 1: It is on track to start running between Denver and
- 15:44Speaker 1: four Collins by twenty twenty nine. That's not that long away,
- 15:47Speaker 1: you know. And so here's the idea with it. It's
- 15:49Speaker 1: from the Boulder Daily Camera this specific info. They're using
- 15:53Speaker 1: existing freight tracks. AM Track is going to operate this
- 15:56Speaker 1: seven hundred foot passenger train. And according to this delivery plan,
- 16:01Speaker 1: the first phase calling for trains traveling up to seventy
- 16:04Speaker 1: nine miles an hour, they're gonna have.
- 16:06Speaker 6: Three daily trips with round.
- 16:08Speaker 1: They're gonna have stops in Denver and Fort Collins, so
- 16:10Speaker 1: that's where it's gonna go through. And they're gonna stop
- 16:12Speaker 1: in Boulder, Longman, and Lewisville along with six other communities.
- 16:16Speaker 1: So this train is gonna go from Denver to Fort
- 16:19Speaker 1: Collins every day, and it's gonna make all these stops
- 16:22Speaker 1: in between, and they're gonna have three it's.
- 16:24Speaker 6: Gonna do this three times every day. So I just
- 16:26Speaker 6: love it. I think that a lot of people will
- 16:27Speaker 6: take advantage of this.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Yeah, can stop at BUCkies.
- 16:31Speaker 6: They need to have a stop at BUCkies.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Come all brilliant that if they don't, they need to.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Call might do this.
- 16:38Speaker 3: I'll do it when it's new, though, before everybody gets
- 16:40Speaker 3: on there and urinates and.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Shoots up exactly once it gets you know that this
- 16:44Speaker 1: is gonna go downhill, But you know you first couple
- 16:47Speaker 1: of months it's gonna be awesome seing on it.
- 16:49Speaker 6: There you go, twenty twenty nine, start making your plans.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Yes, it's in my calendar.
- 16:54Speaker 3: I got a couple more local stories that I stumbled
- 16:57Speaker 3: upon this morning. A farmer, a few farmers out in
- 17:02Speaker 3: northern Colorado saying because of the drought, barley production has
- 17:08Speaker 3: been cut in half by roughly fifty percent this year
- 17:13Speaker 3: because there's not enough irrigation water available.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Now, why is this bad news?
- 17:19Speaker 3: Barley supports Colorado's brewing community.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so that means.
- 17:27Speaker 3: We could have some issues with beer in the near
- 17:31Speaker 3: future where there's not enough beer for all you drinkers
- 17:35Speaker 3: out there, which you know it has long term effects
- 17:38Speaker 3: because it'll start affecting local businesses and then food prices,
- 17:42Speaker 3: and then ingredients, and the list goes on and on
- 17:45Speaker 3: and on.
- 17:45Speaker 6: I mean you hit the nail on the head.
- 17:46Speaker 1: It's affecting the local farmers already. So oh, you know,
- 17:50Speaker 1: it's just that's not.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Good, not good at all.
- 17:52Speaker 3: And then get this, as it's one hundred degrees outside,
- 17:55Speaker 3: people are out shopping for ski gear right now, all
- 17:59Speaker 3: because because last year's snow season hurts sales so bad,
- 18:04Speaker 3: many stores have massive amounts of ski inventory, unsold skis, snowboards, boots,
- 18:12Speaker 3: winter clothing, you name it.
- 18:13Speaker 2: They've got a ton of it right now because nobody
- 18:16Speaker 2: was buying it last year.
- 18:18Speaker 3: So if you're looking for deals, bargain hunters, listen up.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Now is your time to get out to I don't
- 18:24Speaker 3: know where, like ri I, Dicks, wherever else you get
- 18:27Speaker 3: your ski gear, any of those play there you go
- 18:30Speaker 3: and score some sweet deals right now. You can barely
- 18:33Speaker 3: touch the steering wheel in your car, but you can
- 18:35Speaker 3: get you go buy skis right now, So just a
- 18:40Speaker 3: heads up on that, which is fine, Go do it.
- 18:44Speaker 2: That's a great time to get bargains in the middle
- 18:46Speaker 2: of summer for.
- 18:46Speaker 1: All this, and that's something you want to save money
- 18:48Speaker 1: on because those are spends.
- 18:49Speaker 3: They're so expensive expenseactly did you guys see that the
- 18:53Speaker 3: Spirit Halloween story is going up next door?
- 18:55Speaker 5: I need that.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I took a picture of it. I was like, what
- 18:57Speaker 2: the It's a lot going on. I don't like that.
- 19:01Speaker 5: Store, though, I'm not gonna lie like it.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Ain't nobody ready for Halloween? No yet, not at all,
- 19:06Speaker 2: my goodness,
