- 1:35there to the entire week.
- 1:39And then we end up on a Friday,
- 1:41which is what today is, and we have

- 2:12And again, a very big, warm welcome to
- 2:14everyone.
- 2:16So welcome back once again to Inspirations for
- 2:19Your Life.
- 2:20I'm John C.
- 2:21Morley, a serial entrepreneur, I'm an engineer, I'm
- 2:23a marketing specialist, a video producer, podcast host,
- 2:25coach, keynote speaker, graduate student, and a passionate
- 2:28lifelong learner.
- 2:30This is your daily space, guys, to reset
- 2:32your mindset, strengthen your direction, and build a
- 2:35life that actually feels aligned.
- 2:38Today's episode is about a whole person glow
- 2:42up.
- 2:43Not hype, not surface level change.
- 2:46This is about evolving your mind, your community,
- 2:48and your true purpose here together.
- 2:51So growing actually lasts, and doesn't become something
- 2:55superficial or something you just do to, you
- 2:58know, let's say, get a feeling for one
- 3:02day.
- 3:03That's not what growing is about.
- 3:05Number one, guys, your glow up isn't real
- 3:08if it's only physical, all right?
- 3:11Real transformation shows up in how you think,
- 3:14who you keep close, and how you live
- 3:17when no one is watching.
- 3:19This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 3:23and intentional living.
- 3:25Yeah, we've talked about the word intention before,
- 3:27and I think that's a very important thing
- 3:31when we start with the word, you know,
- 3:33intentional, right?
- 3:35Intentional is something that I think a lot
- 3:37of people don't really understand, and intentional means
- 3:43that you can do some pretty amazing stuff,
- 3:47all right?
- 3:49So what does that mean in terms of,
- 3:52you know, life and stuff like that?
- 3:55Intentional means that you can do things that
- 3:59are going to make huge, huge differences in
- 4:04life.
- 4:04I mean, huge differences in life.
- 4:09That's a very important thing to understand, you
- 4:15know, to have huge differences in life.
- 4:19And when we think about huge differences, we
- 4:22can think about the fact that we do
- 4:25things with a purpose, with an intention to
- 4:27help ourselves and to help others, all right?
- 4:30Number two, mindset glow up begins with how
- 4:35you talk to yourself on the hard days.
- 4:38Everyone can talk to themselves great on those
- 4:40good days, right?
- 4:40But what about the hard days, the challenging
- 4:42days?
- 4:43The voice in your head becomes the tone
- 4:45of your life.
- 4:46This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 4:50and intentional living.
- 4:52You see, it's what we tell ourself that
- 4:56actually affects how we move forward in our
- 4:59life, all right?
- 5:03That's a very, very important thing.
- 5:05I think a lot of people miss it
- 5:08because they don't understand how this, you know,
- 5:11currently works.
- 5:13And I want to tell you guys that
- 5:16this is something that can really change your
- 5:19life and do some amazing stuff for you
- 5:23guys, all right?
- 5:25So intentional, all right?
- 5:28And growth, they're important, intentional living.
- 5:33Number three, guys, community glow up shows in
- 5:37who stays when life breaks, not who claps
- 5:40when things are going good because those aren't
- 5:42really your true friends.
- 5:43Those aren't really your supporters.
- 5:44Those are people that are just kind of
- 5:46opportunists.
- 5:47Not nice to say, but that's what they
- 5:48are.
- 5:49This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 5:52and intentional living.
- 5:54Number four, guys, purpose glow up is why
- 5:56you rise in the morning.
- 5:58Not how you look doing it.
- 6:00This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 6:04and intentional living.
- 6:06And again, there's that intentional living again because
- 6:08that's what we're about.
- 6:10We're about intentional living.
- 6:12And I think that's a thing that a
- 6:14lot of people, like they miss that whole
- 6:17concept about what intentional living, you know, is
- 6:19about.
- 6:20And I want to tell you that it's
- 6:26something a lot of people, like they don't
- 6:29really, they don't really get it, okay?
- 6:31They don't really understand what it means.
- 6:37That's the truth.
- 6:39That's really, really the truth.
- 6:43And if you can understand that, then maybe
- 6:45you'll say to me, oh, John, wait a
- 6:47minute.
- 6:47This makes a lot of sense.
- 6:48This does make sense.
- 6:49This is the way I should be doing
- 6:51this, okay?
- 6:53So think about that for just a moment
- 6:56for me, okay?
- 6:58And think about how you make changes in
- 7:03your life, all right?
- 7:04Think about that for just a quick second.
- 7:08And think about how that's propelled you forward.
- 7:10Number five, life rebuilds best in layers.
- 7:14Your inner world, your relationships, and your mission.
- 7:17This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 7:21and intentional living.
- 7:23There's that intentional living, isn't it?
- 7:24Intentional living is so very, very popular, okay?
- 7:29It is really, really, really popular.
- 7:33And I think that's something that a lot
- 7:34of people, again, misalign.
- 7:38Number six, healing feels calmer than distraction.
- 7:43Growth doesn't always feel exciting.
- 7:45It often feels stable.
- 7:46This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 7:50and intentional living.
- 7:52Number seven, guys, Friday self-audits.
- 7:56We're on a Friday, no pun intended there.
- 7:59It helps you check alignment before life drifts
- 8:01you off course.
- 8:03You could get off course because of stress.
- 8:04You could get off course because of misinformation.
- 8:07You get off course because, well, lots of
- 8:10reasons.
- 8:11Because of other people.
- 8:12But we can't blame them.
- 8:14We have to take responsibility for our own
- 8:16life.
- 8:17And this is where the growth compounds, as
- 8:19I said, through consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 8:23Number eight, guys, weekly check-ins alone or
- 8:26with someone you trust create consistency.
- 8:29This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 8:33and intentional living.
- 8:34There's that intentional living again.
- 8:36You think that's important?
- 8:38Absolutely, guys.
- 8:40It is very, very important.
- 8:46When we think about that concept, I think
- 8:51a lot of people say to me, John,
- 8:52how are we going to do something?
- 8:55How are we going to be able to
- 8:56move forward?
- 8:59And I think that's an interesting thing about
- 9:04what it's going to mean or what it's
- 9:06going to do for you.
- 9:09I think those are important things.
- 9:13And by important things, I mean that they
- 9:15can really change who you are in life.
- 9:21They can give you that motivation that is
- 9:25maybe keeping you from something.
- 9:28Number nine, guys, you don't need a new
- 9:30year.
- 9:31Even though we always set our goals on
- 9:32new year, you need a new pattern repeated
- 9:35with intention.
- 9:36New year is a great time to do
- 9:37it.
- 9:38It's a good hype.
- 9:38And I always set goals then.
- 9:40And intentions.
- 9:41But you can do it any time.
- 9:43This is where growth compounds, as I said,
- 9:45through consistency, reflection, and again, intentional living.
- 9:50Number 10, guys, the version of you from
- 9:53five years ago would be proud you didn't
- 9:56quit, that you're still here today.
- 9:59This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 10:03and intentional living.
- 10:06There's that intentional living again, isn't it?
- 10:07Number 11, growth will confuse people who only
- 10:11knew your survival mode.
- 10:13This is where growth compounds again through consistency,
- 10:16reflection, and intentional living.
- 10:19See how that's important?
- 10:20Very important.
- 10:22Number 12, guys, small habits quietly reshape your
- 10:25life faster than dramatic promises.
- 10:28This is where it compounds again, and I'm
- 10:29going to say it again, consistency, reflection, and
- 10:32intentional living.
- 10:34So picking one of these things and sticking
- 10:36with it is pretty cool.
- 10:38It's something I think a lot of people
- 10:40miss because they get stuck on this boat
- 10:43where it's like, oh my gosh, what am
- 10:44I going to do?
- 10:45How am I going to say something?
- 10:47I think that's a very important thing.
- 10:53Number 13, guys, which I'll get to here
- 10:55in just a second, is very, very important
- 10:58too.
- 10:59And that talks about when you take your
- 11:01life seriously, your behavior naturally changes.
- 11:06Your behavior naturally changes.
- 11:12That's pretty important, guys.
- 11:15This again is where the growth compounds through
- 11:18consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 11:21You think that's important, guys?
- 11:23You better believe it.
- 11:25Number 14, weekends aren't just for escaping your
- 11:32life.
- 11:33They're for upgrading it.
- 11:34This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 11:38and intentional living.
- 11:40I keep saying that over and over again.
- 11:42I hope it's going to hit home.
- 11:43Number 15, your social life should reflect your
- 11:46values, not just your availability.
- 11:50And again, it's where your growth compounds through
- 11:52consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 11:55Because these subtle changes in our life make
- 11:58a big difference.
- 12:01And they can help us move from where
- 12:04we are to where we want to be.
- 12:07Number 16, guys, one honest question can reset
- 12:11your entire week.
- 12:13And again, this is where growth compounds through
- 12:15consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 12:19Number 17, guys, growth changes what you're available
- 12:24for.
- 12:24And that's healthy.
- 12:26You know, you might outgross a person.
- 12:28You might outgrow a situation.
- 12:30And you can move on.
- 12:32And again, it's where, yes, growth compounds through
- 12:36consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 12:38Are you getting the point?
- 12:39Yes, I hope you are.
- 12:41Number 18, alignment doesn't cost money.
- 12:44It costs honesty.
- 12:46And again, it's where growth compounds through consistency,
- 12:49reflection, and intentional living.
- 12:52Number 19, guys, momentum unlocks when you admit
- 12:56what's no longer working.
- 13:00And again, you get the point.
- 13:02This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 13:04and intentional living.
- 13:08Number 20, guys, some people see your future.
- 13:12Others only see your past.
- 13:15And I think the ones that were with
- 13:19you because of something you did or could
- 13:21do for them, that's an opportunist.
- 13:25That's somebody who's really trying to manipulate you.
- 13:29Not nice to say.
- 13:30And again, if we focus on this, this
- 13:31is where our growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 13:34and intentional living.
- 13:36Number 21, guys, purpose changes your energy before
- 13:42it changes your results.
- 13:44And this is where compounds of growth through
- 13:47consistency, reflection, and intentional living start to sprout.
- 13:52Number 22, guys, discipline is often hidden behind
- 13:55what looks like competence.
- 13:59And when we understand that, we can actually
- 14:03grow.
- 14:04We can actually exceed our expectations.
- 14:11I'm going to share something with you quickly.
- 14:13I was doing a meditation today.
- 14:14And it was funny because the first time
- 14:16I did this one meditation I hadn't done
- 14:19before, I got to see an epiphany in
- 14:23my eyes.
- 14:26And what was being said, I was actually
- 14:30seeing in full, vivid, animated color.
- 14:36And I didn't even try.
- 14:39So when things come into your consciousness, and
- 14:43you can just feel and see them, that's
- 14:46when they're coming.
- 14:47When you put a lot of effort on
- 14:49them, well, that's when they're not working.
- 14:51And again, this is where growth compounds, ladies
- 14:55and gentlemen, through consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 15:00And so thinking about intentional living for a
- 15:04moment means that we as people choose what
- 15:09we do because we want to do it,
- 15:11not because somebody else has said to do
- 15:13it.
- 15:13That's a very, very important thing.
- 15:18And I think that's an important thing to
- 15:21know, because that's important for us, guys.
- 15:26Very, very important with us, because that has
- 15:32the key to us.
- 15:35It has the key of where we're going.
- 15:39And that key is telling us things that
- 15:44maybe we didn't know about.
- 15:49That key is getting us to look at
- 15:53the picture from a different angle.
- 15:56And I like to use the example, guys,
- 15:58perspective.
- 16:03Perspective.
- 16:04Change your perspective.
- 16:04I don't want to tell you it's good
- 16:06or it's bad.
- 16:07It's different.
- 16:08Sometimes it's good.
- 16:09I always think it's good to look at
- 16:11things from a different angle, right?
- 16:14And when we do that, and we get
- 16:16the information from one angle and another angle,
- 16:19we're like, wait a minute.
- 16:21Now I see it's not really flat.
- 16:23Or now I see it's not really round.
- 16:24Or it's not square.
- 16:25Or it's not triangle.
- 16:26You get my point, don't you?
- 16:28Number 23, guys.
- 16:31Reset rituals.
- 16:33Space, phone, and mind.
- 16:36And this will build stability in your life.
- 16:41I've talked to some people like, oh my
- 16:42gosh, if I don't have my cell phone,
- 16:43it's like, I'm going to just, I'm just
- 16:44going to like, I can't live.
- 16:47Take a chill pill, right?
- 16:49Take a chill pill.
- 16:51Could you live one day without your cell
- 16:53phone?
- 16:54Yes.
- 16:56The most important thing that I probably would
- 16:59miss is checking in on my parents, because
- 17:03I call them every morning, usually every evening.
- 17:06And so that would be the part that
- 17:11would be hard.
- 17:14You know, I publish social media every day.
- 17:16So do I need my cell phone to
- 17:18do that?
- 17:18No, I can use the computer.
- 17:19But my point is, some people become so
- 17:23inundated with their phones that they don't even
- 17:28know what day it is.
- 17:29Well, I'm being facetious there.
- 17:31But they don't even know, like, that the
- 17:34grass is green.
- 17:35You get my point?
- 17:36And again, this is where growth compounds through
- 17:40consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 17:42It almost reminds me, like, it's a response
- 17:44to an old song.
- 17:45Like, if you go into church and like,
- 17:46and then it's like, they say the thing,
- 17:48usually they say, Lord, hear our prayer.
- 17:49And so now it's like, and we said
- 17:51all these things.
- 17:51And it's like, and where growth compounds through
- 17:54consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 17:56And this is where growth, you get my
- 17:58point, right?
- 17:59I just thought that was kind of a
- 18:01little comical there.
- 18:0224, emotional stability is a quiet form of
- 18:05luxury.
- 18:06This is where growth compounds through consistency and
- 18:10intentional living.
- 18:10And so are you getting my point that
- 18:16all of these things that we're talking about
- 18:18and continue to talk about tonight are markers
- 18:23that can actually change who you are in
- 18:27life?
- 18:27Because they help us understand that this is
- 18:31where growth, intention, reflection, intentional living are taking
- 18:35place.
- 18:36Number 25, guys, healing isn't a weakness.
- 18:39Healing is the new flex.
- 18:41This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 18:45and intentional living.
- 18:49Number 26, you can be light for others
- 18:52without burning yourself out.
- 18:54Maybe you think you have to burn yourself
- 18:55out.
- 18:56You do not have to do that.
- 18:57And again, this is where growth compounds through
- 18:59consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 19:02If you keep believing you don't have to
- 19:04burn yourself out, well, then you won't.
- 19:07But if you do, you're going to burn
- 19:10out.
- 19:10And that's just a simple way to say
- 19:12that.
- 19:13Number 27, alignment feels peaceful, not chaotic.
- 19:16And I was having this meditation just the
- 19:18other day.
- 19:19And it was in the car.
- 19:20And I was doing it just before the
- 19:22library was open.
- 19:22I was in my car maybe a little
- 19:24earlier before the library opened.
- 19:27And it was amazing to me.
- 19:29I was just sitting there.
- 19:31And bam, it was like I was just
- 19:36envisioning all this stuff.
- 19:38So clearly, so easily, without any strong effort.
- 19:41And I think that says something.
- 19:43When we can tune into a concept, a
- 19:47frequency, that means something pretty important.
- 19:52So important that I think it can get
- 19:56us to change who we are as a
- 19:59person.
- 19:59It can get us to change our direction.
- 20:02It can get us to change our pathway.
- 20:06It can get us to be a person
- 20:09that needs to take the feedback he or
- 20:15she is getting, apply that, and make those
- 20:18changes in their life.
- 20:20Because see, when we operate like a compass
- 20:23and we take all this in, I said
- 20:26to you that when we can measure something,
- 20:29we could change anything we can measure.
- 20:31But if we can't measure it, how do
- 20:34we change it?
- 20:34How do we know what's wrong?
- 20:36How do we know what's working?
- 20:38Number 27, guys.
- 20:40As I said, alignment feels peaceful, not chaotic.
- 20:44And this is where growth compounds, ladies and
- 20:46gentlemen, through consistency, reflection, and intentional living, just
- 20:48like a response to an old song.
- 20:50Number 28, guys.
- 21:05So when you're honest, clarity does help you.
- 21:10And ladies and gentlemen, this is where everyone,
- 21:13right hand raised, this is where growth compounds
- 21:15through consistency and intentional living.
- 21:17And if you're wondering why I know how
- 21:19to do that so well, so I'm a
- 21:20lector at my church and I'm like, you
- 21:22know, it's like, and a response to our,
- 21:23we put our hand up.
- 21:25So it reminds me of that, how I
- 21:27did this today.
- 21:28Because this point about intentional living is one
- 21:32that many people don't think they have potential
- 21:36to do.
- 21:39Okay.
- 21:44That's very, very important to understand.
- 21:50And when we start to realize these nuances
- 21:53in life, when we start to realize there's
- 21:57a difference, change will start to filter into
- 22:03our life.
- 22:06Now don't do it one day and say,
- 22:07oh my gosh, you know, there was no
- 22:09change.
- 22:10You need to do this consistently.
- 22:13Number 29, guys.
- 22:16One small commitment tonight can reshape tomorrow.
- 22:20Just one small commitment.
- 22:22It might be going to bed a little
- 22:23bit earlier.
- 22:24It might be reading a book.
- 22:26It might be whatever it is.
- 22:29That one small commitment can make a huge
- 22:32difference in your life.
- 22:34And you know what I'm going to say?
- 22:35I'm going to raise my hand and say,
- 22:36and everyone, this is where growth compounds through
- 22:39consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 22:42That's right.
- 22:44We have one more.
- 22:46You're not late, guys.
- 22:47You're in the middle of becoming who you
- 22:50are.
- 22:51And you know what I'm going to say?
- 22:53This is where, yes, ladies and gentlemen, growth
- 22:57compounds through consistency, reflection, and intentional living.
- 23:01One more time.
- 23:02This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 23:07and intentional living.
- 23:08This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 23:11and intentional living.
- 23:13And I think sometimes we're afraid to change
- 23:20because we don't think maybe we'll know it.
- 23:25And we know it's going to be different.
- 23:29And different doesn't mean bad.
- 23:31Different doesn't always mean hard.
- 23:32Different means uncomfortable.
- 23:35And I've said to you that success embraces
- 23:38those that truly welcome uncomfortability.
- 23:43That's where growth lies.
- 23:45That's where growth lies.
- 23:47And ladies and gentlemen, one more time, this
- 23:49is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection, and
- 23:51intentional living.
- 23:52This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 23:55and intentional living.
- 23:56This is where growth compounds through consistency, reflection,
- 23:59and intentional living.
- 24:01So as I get ready to close this
- 24:04evening, I want you to remember something.
- 24:06A real glow up isn't loud, guys.
- 24:09It's not about the person who stands on
- 24:12their chair and says, ladies and gentlemen, no.
- 24:16Somebody who gets up on their chair or
- 24:18uses a megaphone, maybe they're going to get
- 24:20attention because of the noise and they broke
- 24:23the barrier.
- 24:24But I can tell you something.
- 24:26People are not going to stay tuned in
- 24:28if they don't think it's important, right?
- 24:31That's an important thing.
- 24:35So a real glow up isn't loud.
- 24:38It is grounded on your core values and
- 24:42principles.
- 24:43It is the version of you that no
- 24:47longer needs chaos to feel alive.
- 24:51There's a lot of people I know that
- 24:52feel they've got to be chaotic to be
- 24:55able to live.
- 24:57And that's not true.
- 25:00That is not true, guys.
- 25:02You can be in peace and live an
- 25:05amazing life.
- 25:06I want to ask everyone something.
- 25:10First, if this episode spoke to you or
- 25:12resonated to you on any small or large
- 25:15level, I encourage you to make the choice
- 25:18and share it with someone who's rebuilding quietly.
- 25:23And when you do that and you share
- 25:27something of value with someone, you know what
- 25:30you're going to do?
- 25:31You're going to possibly create a bond and
- 25:34that bond's going to become stronger.
- 25:37And I want to definitely invite you guys
- 25:39to please visit.
- 25:41And for more information to visit BelieveMeAchieve.com.
- 25:46And this is where growth, clarity, purpose are
- 25:52available 24 hours a day.
- 25:55That means anytime.
- 25:58You can get up at one o'clock
- 25:59in the morning.
- 26:00You could download this stuff and listen to
- 26:02it when you're in your car.
- 26:04One of my friends used to call, we
- 26:05called it University on Wheels.
- 26:08Pretty cool, right?
- 26:10University on Wheels, get it?
- 26:14And I think if you take as much
- 26:16time for your mental diet as you do
- 26:20for your physical diet, you will amaze yourself
- 26:24at the changes that are going to happen
- 26:26with you.
- 26:27People may not recognize you.
- 26:29They may not recognize you anymore.
- 26:33They're going to know something's different, but they're
- 26:35not going to put their finger on it.
- 26:37They're not going to put their finger on
- 26:38it.
- 26:39Ladies and gentlemen, I am John C.
- 26:41Morley.
- 26:42And I invite you to keep becoming, to
- 26:47staying curious, to asking questions in life, to
- 26:54not give up, to understand that we need
- 26:59to embrace uncomfortability.
- 27:01Because when we do this, we learn.
- 27:06And when we learn, what happens, ladies and
- 27:10gentlemen?
- 27:11We grow.
- 27:12And when we grow, we become successful.
- 27:18And you know, other people that see us
- 27:21becoming successful are going to want to hang
- 27:24around us.
- 27:26It's kind of how it works.
- 27:28I said before, no one ever wants to
- 27:30hang around or help anybody or the plane
- 27:32or get on that plane or the train
- 27:34or the boat or anything when it's still
- 27:36stationary.
- 27:38But they risk their lives to get on
- 27:41a moving plane, a train, a boat, because
- 27:45it's in motion, because it's successful.
- 27:51Be nice if those people actually helped.
- 27:54I remember one person saying, instead of just
- 27:57showing and throwing baby showers, we actually should
- 28:00throw business showers when people start new businesses.
- 28:03But a lot of people are too selfish.
- 28:04They don't want to help others.
- 28:06So I think that's a problem that we
- 28:07probably have to fix.
- 28:08Ladies and gentlemen, I'm John C.
- 28:09Morley.
- 28:09Serial entrepreneur.
- 28:10Have yourself a great evening, great rest of
- 28:11your day.
- 28:12Check out BelieveMeAchieved.com.
- 28:14And remember, the glow up starts from within
- 28:18when you choose to live an intentional life.
- 28:21Take care, everyone.
- 28:22We'll have a brand new master topic tomorrow
- 28:23on Saturday.
