- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hi. Eric, Hey Ashley? What up? Ben? Up? What's going on?
- 0:10Speaker 3: How you doing?
- 0:11Speaker 2: I'm incredible? How you guys feeling good? Good?
- 0:13Speaker 4: If you like stopped aging, because like I'm pretty sure
- 0:16Speaker 4: that you look at the exact same as you did
- 0:17Speaker 4: eight years ago.
- 0:19Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure there's like not a single change in
- 0:22Speaker 5: your all being.
- 0:23Speaker 6: That's because he's really good at spirituality and fitness, which
- 0:26Speaker 6: is what we're here to talk about.
- 0:28Speaker 2: That is a lot of internal work, a lot of
- 0:30Speaker 2: spiritual work, a lot of meditation, breath work, and a
- 0:33Speaker 2: lot of prayer.
- 0:35Speaker 5: So we're just rolling into this episode.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Yeah, let's just keep it going.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Yeah, good energy, vitality, you know, gratefulness, just all of
- 0:43Speaker 2: the things, but consistently, that's what spiritual fitness is.
- 0:46Speaker 6: If people are listening. Eric Biger just came out with
- 0:50Speaker 6: a new book. He was a part of Winter Games
- 0:52Speaker 6: that Ashley and I were both a part of.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Uh.
- 0:55Speaker 6: You can remember him from Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelor,
- 0:59Speaker 6: an iconic season, and also Eric appeared on Paradise. Now
- 1:07Speaker 6: Eric is coming out or it has come out with
- 1:09Speaker 6: a new book, discussing topics that we I think, as
- 1:12Speaker 6: you get to know Eric know that he is passionate
- 1:15Speaker 6: about So Ashley, you just mentioned how good Eric looks.
- 1:20Speaker 3: You're not lying, No, looks great.
- 1:23Speaker 6: Eric mentioned a few of the things that have been
- 1:25Speaker 6: core key tenants in his life. Why a book, now,
- 1:30Speaker 6: I guess Eric is the starting question.
- 1:32Speaker 3: We're a few years removed.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Well, you have three now, right, Yeah, I have three books.
- 1:38Speaker 2: So the first one was one hundred Days Wisdom. The
- 1:40Speaker 2: second one was Change your Mindset, Change your Energy, Change
- 1:42Speaker 2: your Life. That was a workbook. And now this is
- 1:45Speaker 2: more like not a memory, but kind of telling my story.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I'm more vulnerable, I'm more open, and over the years,
- 1:51Speaker 2: I went through a lot of change. I had a
- 1:53Speaker 2: metamorphosis I was I had to go through heartbreak, I
- 1:56Speaker 2: had to go through portrayal, loss, shane, guilt, and all
- 1:59Speaker 2: the things you don't think you experienced at that part
- 2:02Speaker 2: of your career where the physical success didn't mean much.
- 2:05Speaker 2: The accolades didn't feel as great as they look because
- 2:09Speaker 2: I was suffering internally. I was wearing a mask, I
- 2:12Speaker 2: was playing a role. I was you know, I was
- 2:15Speaker 2: appeasing to the crowd of the audience because I want
- 2:17Speaker 2: you to like me. I want you to love me.
- 2:20Speaker 2: And in the moment of that Dark Knight of the Soul,
- 2:23Speaker 2: the challenge was I didn't love myself.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Quoting some John there, Dark Knight of the Soul.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I went through. So twenty twenty three
- 2:31Speaker 2: was a Dark Knight. So I talk about this in
- 2:32Speaker 2: a book. So the book is literally my career up
- 2:35Speaker 2: until this point and how spiritual fitness came into my life.
- 2:38Speaker 2: So that spiritual awakening, Dark Knight of the Soul, I
- 2:40Speaker 2: was in a very you know, different relationship. It activated
- 2:45Speaker 2: my true and higher purpose. I was heartbroken. I lost
- 2:49Speaker 2: close friends and people that I thought loved me for
- 2:51Speaker 2: the years, and I think they loved me from the
- 2:53Speaker 2: version I was giving them because I programmed them. So
- 2:55Speaker 2: I take full responsibility. But I had to grow and
- 2:57Speaker 2: my soul just knew I couldn't be in an old pair.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I'm the old identity that I created from the show.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Because I was lost, I was confused, I was overwhelmed.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I'm like, what is life? How do I do all
- 3:09Speaker 2: these things that I have nothing to show for? And
- 3:11Speaker 2: I didn't have I thought I had love, but that
- 3:13Speaker 2: love that was in my life left my life because
- 3:16Speaker 2: it wasn't part of my alignment, of my soul's assignment.
- 3:19Speaker 2: And so in that dark night of the soul, I
- 3:22Speaker 2: went through a death and rebirth. I went to Peru,
- 3:25Speaker 2: I hiked the Incan Trails. I was there for eleven days,
- 3:29Speaker 2: except with plant medicine for two of those days. And
- 3:32Speaker 2: the beautiful thing about spiritual fitness when I came off
- 3:34Speaker 2: the mountain, I hiked five mountains that time. Never I'm
- 3:38Speaker 2: afraid of heights. Love was there. When I got off
- 3:40Speaker 2: the mountain, I fell in love. I found in love
- 3:43Speaker 2: of my life. So through it all, spiritual fitness woke
- 3:47Speaker 2: me up to my power and to my soul's work
- 3:49Speaker 2: and why I'm here, and I'm here to bring this
- 3:52Speaker 2: method and this medicine to people to know that listen.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Just because you might be down and bad or things
- 3:56Speaker 2: are not good, it's always changed. It's always opportunity to grow.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And I was willing to grow, to do the work,
- 4:03Speaker 2: to be here to show and give everyone opportunity to
- 4:06Speaker 2: be spiritually fit. And spiritual fitness is an internal journey
- 4:10Speaker 2: of self right, and I'll add movement in it and
- 4:13Speaker 2: the methic goes first as you have your intention, So
- 4:16Speaker 2: anyone that's logical, practical, what is your intention for your life?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Your body, your mind to is movement. You move your
- 4:23Speaker 2: body for forty five minutes, and then after moving you
- 4:25Speaker 2: do breath work, you do affirmations, and then you pray
- 4:29Speaker 2: and then you do that. Over time, you become a
- 4:32Speaker 2: different person. You expand your frequency to receive more, You
- 4:36Speaker 2: get synchronicities, downloads, you trust small, you have more certainty,
- 4:40Speaker 2: and boom, magic happens because you just tapped into your
- 4:43Speaker 2: soul power, into your authenticity of you for you and
- 4:46Speaker 2: not you.
- 4:46Speaker 6: Of the world. Eric I used to live in Peru.
- 4:49Speaker 6: I live in Cusco into English. Yeah wow, so I've
- 4:53Speaker 6: hiked in Contrailed myself.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah. I love those people.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's a very good place to live. I
- 5:00Speaker 3: mean it is.
- 5:01Speaker 6: It's a fantastic city and a lot of people coming
- 5:04Speaker 6: through it.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I think.
- 5:07Speaker 6: You know, obviously, ayahuasca is a very popular medicine in
- 5:11Speaker 6: that area. When you do when you were speaking about
- 5:15Speaker 6: kind of meeting with the shaman, yeah, going through the experience,
- 5:20Speaker 6: how did your relationship to faith. I don't want to say,
- 5:25Speaker 6: because I think faith can target a different conversation. How'd
- 5:29Speaker 6: your relationship with faith change?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Well, my relationship with faith never change. I was called
- 5:35Speaker 2: to the medicine. I didn't do ayahuasca. I did Saint
- 5:37Speaker 2: Petro Wachuma. It's the Grandfather. There's more a gentle giant.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It's not as intense or passionate as ayuasca. So they
- 5:45Speaker 2: call it the Grandfather, right, and it's a cactus plant.
- 5:48Speaker 2: So I was called to it. I was moved my spirit.
- 5:51Speaker 2: You know, I listened to man I'm a pisy so Ashley.
- 5:53Speaker 2: You know, it was like I feel things deeply. So
- 5:56Speaker 2: when I trust the nudge, my life opens up. Because
- 5:59Speaker 2: I was such, I shook dark space and I did
- 6:01Speaker 2: all the praying, all the meditating, reading scriptures, working out.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I was like, I just need I don't know, I'm lost.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I had the shaman come in, they did my podcast.
- 6:11Speaker 2: We first did a Kakale ceremony and Josh retreat where
- 6:14Speaker 2: that really opened my heart. And then when I did
- 6:16Speaker 2: set with the medicine and Peru, it deepened my spirituality.
- 6:20Speaker 2: It deepened my faith, It deepened my trust in God.
- 6:22Speaker 2: See the thing is, I always had faith in God.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I always had belief and certainty. I just never wanted
- 6:28Speaker 2: to show that because I didn't want to be judged.
- 6:30Speaker 2: That's why if you look at the cover of my book,
- 6:31Speaker 2: I'm not smiling, because I'm really a deep person. I
- 6:34Speaker 2: put the smile on it, like, hey guys, it's me,
- 6:37Speaker 2: Like I'm happy. But I come from a really different
- 6:40Speaker 2: past growing up in Baltimore. I've seen a lot of pain,
- 6:43Speaker 2: a lot of challenging things, but I transmitted that pain
- 6:46Speaker 2: into power. Now I'm here to bring the light of God,
- 6:49Speaker 2: of the creator of all things that we give to
- 6:52Speaker 2: that we don't even know exists, and everything has the
- 6:55Speaker 2: God energy in it. This podcast, I mean, then you're
- 6:58Speaker 2: very faithful and very speak of God. And I think
- 7:02Speaker 2: we fear these things as a collective because we don't
- 7:04Speaker 2: understand or know these things within ourselves, right because we've
- 7:09Speaker 2: been programming condition in a system to go add something
- 7:13Speaker 2: and not understand what it is, and we just listen
- 7:15Speaker 2: to it because the authority is saying doing it, where
- 7:17Speaker 2: I've always questioned things that they didn't feel right. So
- 7:21Speaker 2: for me, I know I'm a living testament and I
- 7:23Speaker 2: have to be the evidence before I give you what
- 7:27Speaker 2: I'm saying. And so my faith deep, and really my
- 7:29Speaker 2: intuition was stronger, my synchronicity, my psychic abilities. I could
- 7:32Speaker 2: feel into things. I'm literally in every session I pray
- 7:37Speaker 2: over people after we finish working out. I done got
- 7:40Speaker 2: hired to do workshops in different countries on retreats, so
- 7:43Speaker 2: I'm working out with people and I'm praying before the workshop.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I'm praying over everything. So in everything I'm doing is
- 7:49Speaker 2: God related, right. The book is God using me for
- 7:52Speaker 2: my high as good to tap into people to find
- 7:54Speaker 2: their God what they're here to do. And so I'm
- 7:57Speaker 2: just not afraid of that part of myself anymore because
- 7:59Speaker 2: when I was in my darkness, that's all I had,
- 8:01Speaker 2: I said in the book, I had prayer in God,
- 8:04Speaker 2: I had Jim and spirituality, and so that's all I had.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I didn't have the TV show, I didn't have the
- 8:11Speaker 2: money in the bank account, all the relationship or like, no,
- 8:14Speaker 2: it was me, myself and God. And I talk about
- 8:16Speaker 2: it in the book. When I was sitting in the
- 8:18Speaker 2: middle of my floor in tears asking God what happened,
- 8:22Speaker 2: He's just like, Oh, it's time to go to another level.
- 8:24Speaker 2: So I got to wake you up to why you're
- 8:27Speaker 2: really here. Like, we're not on these platforms forout egos.
- 8:30Speaker 2: That's the old life. I'm here from my soul, consciousness
- 8:33Speaker 2: and evolution. That's creation and collaboration. How can we create,
- 8:37Speaker 2: co create, and collaborate to be better beings in this lifetime?
- 8:41Speaker 2: So the ripple effect, you guys, are a ripple in
- 8:43Speaker 2: the world. People love the podcast, people listen to it
- 8:46Speaker 2: because you have impacted so many lives. So I know
- 8:49Speaker 2: I'm chosen to be in these platforms to allow my
- 8:52Speaker 2: life to come through, so people can be more spiritually fit,
- 8:55Speaker 2: more spiritually aware, more faith driven, whatever their soul is,
- 8:58Speaker 2: call them, because everybody has a different soul's purpose. You know,
- 9:02Speaker 2: we don't all everyone's not from the United States, right,
- 9:05Speaker 2: So this is a call of action of people to
- 9:08Speaker 2: wake up and find who they are inside their heart,
- 9:10Speaker 2: not their mind or their ego.
- 9:23Speaker 3: A few clarifying questions.
- 9:24Speaker 6: Obviously, as I mentioned, I've been around it for a while.
- 9:28Speaker 6: When we discuss you know, these medicines that can help
- 9:35Speaker 6: open up with you, I think when you're from a
- 9:38Speaker 6: Christian tradition or you know, I guess it would be
- 9:43Speaker 6: a Christian tradition, you would quote Paul and say, hey,
- 9:47Speaker 6: like a sober mind is mentioned in there, like come
- 9:49Speaker 6: to God with a sober mind, a sober heart. I
- 9:53Speaker 6: think in today's world the translation would oftentimes mean, hey,
- 9:57Speaker 6: keep your mind clear from Yeah, you know these medicines.
- 10:02Speaker 6: How would you confront that after walking through this experience.
- 10:05Speaker 2: That's a great question because I think we don't have
- 10:08Speaker 2: sober bodies. A lot of us have trauma in our
- 10:10Speaker 2: bodies from our past, from our family, our mom's dad,
- 10:14Speaker 2: what they didn't overcome, so that burden comes through them
- 10:17Speaker 2: through us as kids. So if I'm carrying the burden
- 10:20Speaker 2: of my mom and my dad and I haven't healed
- 10:22Speaker 2: that part of me that's controlling my life, so that
- 10:25Speaker 2: part of me has to be healed. And I'm not
- 10:27Speaker 2: saying I don't think plant medicine is for everybody. I'm
- 10:30Speaker 2: just telling you that on this podcast. It's not for everybody.
- 10:32Speaker 2: And if you don't feel the call, stay away from it.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Everything is not for everybody. So this is the spiritual
- 10:39Speaker 2: fitness allows you to tap into your autonomy of your certainty. See,
- 10:43Speaker 2: we're afraid to listen to what we know without evidence
- 10:46Speaker 2: because we're always looking for the evidence to take action.
- 10:49Speaker 2: But we are the evidence. You guys are the evidence.
- 10:52Speaker 2: You had to be on TV. You have to speak
- 10:54Speaker 2: and do your thing for me. The way I confronted
- 10:56Speaker 2: is that do you trust God? If you trust that,
- 11:00Speaker 2: if you're Christians just speaking to people Christians, what are
- 11:02Speaker 2: you afraid of? Because for the medicine, I was in fear.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I was in fear. So I don't have I have
- 11:11Speaker 2: fear like life like yeah, but I'm not walking around
- 11:13Speaker 2: like oh what if the work like I'm not walking
- 11:15Speaker 2: around in that in my body because I let those
- 11:18Speaker 2: parts of me leave me because it's part of my
- 11:20Speaker 2: old paradigm and what I'm here to do. I know
- 11:23Speaker 2: I've been chosen in my family to release things that
- 11:26Speaker 2: don't serve us anymore. Right, But someone has to do
- 11:29Speaker 2: the work. I'm willing to do the work. And the
- 11:32Speaker 2: work is more than just sitting down, reading, praying and
- 11:36Speaker 2: listening to something. You gotta take divine action. And I
- 11:39Speaker 2: think sometimes in a Christian space where I see least
- 11:43Speaker 2: of my community, people are not taking a line action
- 11:45Speaker 2: because they have fear. That faith is ruded in fear
- 11:48Speaker 2: and not love, that faith is not ruded in reverence,
- 11:51Speaker 2: not because they want to, they just don't nobody because
- 11:53Speaker 2: they don't have the information. They don't have awareness. If
- 11:57Speaker 2: I shut someone off from what they believe and say
- 12:01Speaker 2: what they're saying is wrong, I'm never open to change
- 12:03Speaker 2: in my life. If I'm only I gotta do this
- 12:05Speaker 2: or else. It's not like there's a different life. Like
- 12:08Speaker 2: Guys a parent now, right, I'm pretty sure before you
- 12:11Speaker 2: had shit kid and before you got married, you had
- 12:13Speaker 2: a different mindset, a different mentality. Now you went through
- 12:16Speaker 2: that ring, girl, whatever that process is is a parent,
- 12:20Speaker 2: you have a different mindset. So no one can tell
- 12:23Speaker 2: you and say, hey, look this is what it's like.
- 12:25Speaker 2: You lived it, you understand it. And I think for me,
- 12:28Speaker 2: because I've took so much chances and faith, like I
- 12:31Speaker 2: had to have faith in life. God has shown me
- 12:35Speaker 2: what life can be if you have faith and trust.
- 12:37Speaker 2: And that's what I have. And it's not easy. So
- 12:39Speaker 2: I'm just telling people like, let's let's talk about it,
- 12:42Speaker 2: let's talk about it all, let's pray, let's let's have
- 12:44Speaker 2: a difference of opinion, but let's get to the root.
- 12:46Speaker 2: It's not about who's right, it's about what's right, and
- 12:49Speaker 2: what's right is that everybody deserves to feel love, seeing
- 12:52Speaker 2: felt and heard, and you should be able to be
- 12:54Speaker 2: your authentic self without feeling like you need a title
- 12:57Speaker 2: to commit to what you're here to do. And I
- 12:59Speaker 2: think sometimes we get caught up in a paradox or
- 13:02Speaker 2: a paradigm of life because what we were giving growing
- 13:05Speaker 2: up where I don't believe you always have to commit
- 13:08Speaker 2: to you with your mom or dad is telling you.
- 13:10Speaker 2: If you don't feel it, you have to have. God
- 13:13Speaker 2: gives a free will for a reason, you know, So
- 13:16Speaker 2: that's what I believe. But I get it. I mean,
- 13:19Speaker 2: you know, it's it makes sense, It all makes sense.
- 13:21Speaker 2: But this is why I'm here with love. I'm coming
- 13:23Speaker 2: with love because if I'm supposed to help people, someone
- 13:27Speaker 2: doesn't believe in Christ, doesn't believe in God, I'm not
- 13:29Speaker 2: going to push them. Awake up. Let's talk. Let's sit down,
- 13:32Speaker 2: Let's have a spiritual, fitnessed conversation. What's going on in
- 13:34Speaker 2: your life? I'm hurt. I did that great, Let's talk
- 13:37Speaker 2: about it more. Because I'm the spaceholder make people feel
- 13:40Speaker 2: safe to be wherever they are and not judge them,
- 13:43Speaker 2: but to love them as if you know Jesus did Christ?
- 13:47Speaker 2: Did you know?
- 13:48Speaker 3: So you know? Eric, I've had.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Most of my life is having conversations about Jesus because
- 13:55Speaker 6: it would be impossible for me not to believe that
- 13:58Speaker 6: there is a God because of my own personal story
- 14:02Speaker 6: that deeply loves, cares, sacrifices, calls me to love God
- 14:06Speaker 6: and love others in the best way possible. It's a
- 14:09Speaker 6: lot of my life because it's the most true thing
- 14:12Speaker 6: I know. I spend outside of talking about pop culture,
- 14:18Speaker 6: a lot of time talking about it. I've never heard
- 14:21Speaker 6: when confronted with that verse, and it makes a lot
- 14:26Speaker 6: of sense to me, anybody say because we don't have
- 14:29Speaker 6: sober bodies, the trauma, the pain, the lack of forgiveness,
- 14:33Speaker 6: the weight that we're carrying, the stress, all those things
- 14:37Speaker 6: add to the way we walk into daily life and
- 14:40Speaker 6: daily confrontations. I've never heard that, And I've talked to
- 14:44Speaker 6: a lot of really intelligent people that study the scriptures
- 14:47Speaker 6: deeply about that verse.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Because I love a good cocktail.
- 14:53Speaker 6: So I have my own personal things I need to
- 14:55Speaker 6: talk about, and I've never heard anybody say it that way,
- 14:58Speaker 6: and it makes a lot of sense to me, and
- 14:59Speaker 6: I need, uh, I need to meditate on that for
- 15:01Speaker 6: a little bit. I've also and again I've known a
- 15:05Speaker 6: lot of people who have walked through plant based medicine
- 15:09Speaker 6: for multiple reasons. Uh, suicidal audiations, you know, trauma from
- 15:14Speaker 6: their service and life. And uh, I have yet to
- 15:20Speaker 6: meet anybody who has been called to it. And I
- 15:23Speaker 6: want to be clear. I'm glad you clarified that not
- 15:26Speaker 6: everybody should do it. Like for me, I haven't been
- 15:29Speaker 6: called to it. I've been I seen myself in the
- 15:31Speaker 6: corner shaking.
- 15:39Speaker 2: That's true.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not I'm not there yet.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Eric, well Ben discuss what before I took it, I
- 15:45Speaker 2: judged it. I'm sorry, that's stupid. Why would they do that?
- 15:47Speaker 2: How you think and plant medicine? Your life's not changing
- 15:50Speaker 2: what I had clients tell me that, But I was
- 15:53Speaker 2: so just broken it off and I'm like it came
- 15:57Speaker 2: to me like things like things come to me and
- 15:59Speaker 2: I'm I'm like, okay, I'm a curious guy. I'm very curious.
- 16:03Speaker 2: And then but now I got love in my life.
- 16:05Speaker 2: I have a new book out. My life has changed.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I live in Orange County, I have more peace, I'm
- 16:11Speaker 2: more authentic him self. I'm not doing things to be
- 16:13Speaker 2: like and love like I'm just Eric from Baltimore and
- 16:16Speaker 2: not Eric from The Bachelor. I can't bring it all together.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I don't have to hide parts of myself. I wouldn't
- 16:21Speaker 2: grow my beard for years because I was living a
- 16:24Speaker 2: paradigmic Oh, I have to colde switch. I have to
- 16:26Speaker 2: be this way, I have to be that way. I
- 16:28Speaker 2: was always trying to fit in. I can just be Eric.
- 16:30Speaker 2: I can just be e. It's cool.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Hey, Eric, you mentioned and I don't know if there's
- 16:46Speaker 5: symbolism here or I'm being taking it like too obviously
- 16:51Speaker 5: he said that you climbed a mountain and then you
- 16:53Speaker 5: came down it and then there was your love.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I fell in love.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Where where was the love? She wasn't at the bottom
- 16:59Speaker 5: of the mountain.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Oh, but it's just okay. So this is what happened.
- 17:07Speaker 2: This is how connected I am to God. And by
- 17:09Speaker 2: the way, thank you for saying that, Ben, because it
- 17:12Speaker 2: came to me to tell you about the sober But
- 17:13Speaker 2: that's God I prayed before I got on here. I'm
- 17:16Speaker 2: really connected, right, So I appreciate you acknowledging that what
- 17:19Speaker 2: happened was the person who invited me to the journey
- 17:23Speaker 2: to come to Peru. You know, after I got off
- 17:26Speaker 2: the medicine because she did me a favor. Her name
- 17:28Speaker 2: is Siah. She looked out. She's from Austreach. She lives
- 17:31Speaker 2: in London. Beautiful soul. And I told her, because you're
- 17:34Speaker 2: doing this for me, you're gonna find your divine union.
- 17:37Speaker 2: It's going to happen, right, This is what I'm telling her.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Little did I know. I come home and I don't
- 17:44Speaker 2: know how it happened. I'm in the mountains and I'm
- 17:47Speaker 2: on my story. It's like a few days and then
- 17:49Speaker 2: someone goes to my DM like you know, and I'm like, okay,
- 17:53Speaker 2: but I'm so broken. I'm not thinking about love. I'm
- 17:56Speaker 2: not thinking about a relationship. I'm not thinking about none
- 17:58Speaker 2: of it. I'm trying to heal. I'm really just come
- 18:01Speaker 2: from a very different, you know, environment in that relationship space.
- 18:06Speaker 2: So we talk. It's very cordial, it's very healthy, and
- 18:13Speaker 2: she's a womb healer. She deals with warmb consciousness. She's
- 18:16Speaker 2: a healer herself. She does she deals with grief work.
- 18:19Speaker 2: She allowed people to feel grief in her body. She's
- 18:21Speaker 2: studying with a priest for two years. Like she's very
- 18:24Speaker 2: like grounded, stable, gentle, loving but empowering and she's like,
- 18:31Speaker 2: I want to do a gene Ky's reading for you.
- 18:32Speaker 2: It's a human design. Don't know if youve heard of it.
- 18:34Speaker 2: So we get on a zoom and I'm like when
- 18:37Speaker 2: I see her, I'm like, something came over me. But
- 18:39Speaker 2: I'm thinking I'm tripping. I'm like, I'm tripping, like I'm
- 18:42Speaker 2: not feeling what I think I feel. Maybe I'm just so. Anyway,
- 18:46Speaker 2: we have our conversation. She give me some pointers. I say, oh,
- 18:48Speaker 2: we should meet. July fourth comes. She lives in looking
- 18:52Speaker 2: on the gout. I'll go out there for July fourth.
- 18:56Speaker 4: July fourth, a year ago, a few years ago.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Oh mind you. I did the plant medicine May twenty
- 19:03Speaker 2: twenty four. I come home May eleven to May twenty third.
- 19:07Speaker 2: So July fourth comes, I go down there, I meet her,
- 19:10Speaker 2: and I see her. I'm like, it was like where
- 19:13Speaker 2: you've been, like a remembrance, Like my body was like wow.
- 19:18Speaker 2: But it wasn't like like oh when the fall in
- 19:21Speaker 2: love with you. Wasn't no lust. We just had a
- 19:23Speaker 2: really good time. Like it was genuine, it was healthy,
- 19:27Speaker 2: it felt easy, it was light, and she just was
- 19:30Speaker 2: so gentle and femine. It was just I don't know,
- 19:32Speaker 2: I've never felt that. I never felt so much safe
- 19:34Speaker 2: in a woman's present, like she was very grounded. And
- 19:38Speaker 2: then over time it just became this thing of like,
- 19:42Speaker 2: I like you, I love you, and I remember one
- 19:45Speaker 2: time I said, look, if you don't love me, I
- 19:47Speaker 2: don't even care. But I know I love you and
- 19:50Speaker 2: I'm owning my feelings because before this, I used to
- 19:53Speaker 2: play the middle. I used to kind of act I
- 19:55Speaker 2: didn't care and like, no, I went through so much before,
- 19:58Speaker 2: I'm going to own how I feel even if you don't.
- 20:01Speaker 2: But I love you and I'm into you. And then
- 20:03Speaker 2: from there we just grew and it just became natural.
- 20:07Speaker 2: It wasn't even I had to think about it. And
- 20:10Speaker 2: that's when I realized God showing me because I told her,
- 20:12Speaker 2: I said, you haven't sent like you're God's sent. I
- 20:14Speaker 2: wasn't even looking for love. That's God telling me, here
- 20:18Speaker 2: you go. And I said, I said, Babe, had to
- 20:20Speaker 2: hike five mountains, take two journeys to plant medicine. You
- 20:23Speaker 2: took me on a pilgrimage just to find love. But
- 20:26Speaker 2: I looked at it as God is bringing this woman
- 20:29Speaker 2: in my life to expand my purpose to be my
- 20:31Speaker 2: wife to eventually live off in a sunset like that's
- 20:34Speaker 2: how I saw. It's like a beautiful story. But I
- 20:36Speaker 2: didn't get there from easy peas. It had to go
- 20:39Speaker 2: through They called the writer passage for boys. But I
- 20:42Speaker 2: had to go through a process to get off the
- 20:44Speaker 2: mountain to come down. Here it goes love. And now
- 20:47Speaker 2: now I'm in Orange County with love and this book out,
- 20:50Speaker 2: and I'm just really grateful.
- 20:51Speaker 3: And are you two still together?
- 20:54Speaker 2: Of course?
- 20:55Speaker 3: Okay, good, make he's gonna marry this girl.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Can you just say something. She's right here, she's helping me. Yeah. Yeah,
- 21:10Speaker 2: So it's all happening. All the magic is unfolding, and
- 21:14Speaker 2: I'm excited because I never knew what love can do
- 21:17Speaker 2: in your body. I know the deals in your mind.
- 21:20Speaker 2: But see, I was a man that never felt my body.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I'm always in intellectual higher consciousness. I was always here.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I could never drop that here. Now and I got
- 21:28Speaker 2: it in my body. I'm like, oh, I see what
- 21:31Speaker 2: people want. It's a body thing. It's embodiment of love. Oh.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I can feel that, I can receive that, I can
- 21:36Speaker 2: hold that. It's okay, Like it makes me emotional.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it does, do that, trust me, I mean, yeah, so.
- 21:44Speaker 2: It's it's not like, oh I love and it's a
- 21:47Speaker 2: it's a real thing, Like it's something I never felt,
- 21:52Speaker 2: but I have to go through something to get this
- 21:54Speaker 2: feeling and this energy in my life. It just wasn't
- 21:57Speaker 2: for like because I want to do planning, you know.
- 22:00Speaker 2: It was just I really was following the nudget. I
- 22:02Speaker 2: have a quote that says, if you follow the bread crumbs,
- 22:05Speaker 2: the loaf will appear. That's all I was doing. I
- 22:07Speaker 2: was just listening to that inner guidance. Yeah, that's her.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Goodness.
- 22:13Speaker 5: Actually, I want to see it in action.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Go to her birthday birthday Jauary nineteenth. Go to the post.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, Eric, as we close up here with you.
- 22:24Speaker 6: Obviously, Spiritual Fitness is out now Barnes, Noble, Amazon, wherever
- 22:29Speaker 6: you can get books.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Let's bring this down a level.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Uh.
- 22:34Speaker 6: If someone is listening and they're just overwhelmed the normal stuff,
- 22:40Speaker 6: right like work bills, household things, why should they read
- 22:44Speaker 6: this book?
- 22:45Speaker 2: Great question. They should read this book because this book
- 22:48Speaker 2: is a transmission to wake them up back into their power.
- 22:52Speaker 2: And the first thing I want them to start with,
- 22:54Speaker 2: if this is you right now listen, is what is
- 22:56Speaker 2: your intention? For your life. It could be just to
- 22:59Speaker 2: get up in the morning or just to go to
- 23:01Speaker 2: work or whatever. Whatever your attention is. God willing is
- 23:05Speaker 2: healthy and it's positive. I want you to move your
- 23:07Speaker 2: body for at least thirty minutes, even if you're walking
- 23:09Speaker 2: on the treadmill, you're walking in the park, and just
- 23:12Speaker 2: let that intention come through you and whatever comes up
- 23:15Speaker 2: after the workout of the walk, choo about it. And
- 23:17Speaker 2: then I want you to breathe in what comes up,
- 23:19Speaker 2: breathing what happens, create some affirmations around your intentions, and
- 23:24Speaker 2: then pray, and then I want you to do it
- 23:25Speaker 2: again and again and again and again. I want this
- 23:27Speaker 2: to become a lifestyle. And it's not so much about
- 23:30Speaker 2: what you have, who you are. What it looks like
- 23:32Speaker 2: is what it feels like. We got to get back
- 23:34Speaker 2: to feeling. It's good to know things, but what are
- 23:37Speaker 2: you feeling that you might be avoiding or that you're
- 23:40Speaker 2: afraid of. See, I was afraid of love so I
- 23:42Speaker 2: wouldn't feel so I ran from it. I'm just be
- 23:44Speaker 2: all successful. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, No, I
- 23:46Speaker 2: need you here. I'm sit with this love my son.
- 23:50Speaker 2: So the main thing is to have an intention to
- 23:52Speaker 2: have movement of that intention, because movement is medicine. Motion
- 23:56Speaker 2: changes emotion. That's why if you're in a dark space
- 23:58Speaker 2: they usually call it the winter site. Is when things
- 24:00Speaker 2: look dark, you need to move your body in or
- 24:02Speaker 2: you need to move your energy. And then you come
- 24:05Speaker 2: out of that. You do some breath work, you do
- 24:07Speaker 2: three rounds, two rounds, whatever you feel benefits. It's all
- 24:09Speaker 2: in the book. Everything is diced out in the book,
- 24:12Speaker 2: from my story to how I got it to climb,
- 24:14Speaker 2: then nets of how they got through spiritual fitness, and
- 24:17Speaker 2: you do breath work affirmations, and then you pray, and
- 24:20Speaker 2: then what happens is you'll start seeing things beyond logical evidence.
- 24:24Speaker 2: You'll start seeing the alchemy and the power of our thoughts,
- 24:27Speaker 2: of our thinking about bodies, of our souls, and then
- 24:31Speaker 2: you'll have a better feeling, and then you'll have a
- 24:34Speaker 2: better life, because it's all about how we feel and
- 24:37Speaker 2: what we're feeling into and sometimes most of us and
- 24:41Speaker 2: we're in a dark space, we don't feel good with
- 24:44Speaker 2: uncomfortable feelings, so then we don't feel and we avoid them.
- 24:46Speaker 2: We go into alcohol, we go into drinking, we going
- 24:48Speaker 2: to partying, sex, we go into all the darkness of
- 24:51Speaker 2: those feelings because we don't want to feel. And this
- 24:54Speaker 2: is why my woman is powerful, because she has grief
- 24:57Speaker 2: work and she's teaching me. She helped me heal my
- 24:59Speaker 2: mother because in the book, I'm talking about my mother
- 25:02Speaker 2: woning and how that relationship with my mom not getting
- 25:05Speaker 2: love from effeminine allowed me not to have love in
- 25:07Speaker 2: life for a long time. So it's a lot of
- 25:10Speaker 2: information in there that to help anybody out there that's
- 25:12Speaker 2: going through a transition or break up or break through
- 25:15Speaker 2: to get on the other side of themselves to trust
- 25:17Speaker 2: and find themselves and find their sin and find God
- 25:20Speaker 2: within and be fulfilled. So yeah, Spiritual Fitness, get the book.
- 25:25Speaker 2: It's out. I don't know if anybody's in Seattle. I'm
- 25:27Speaker 2: doing a pop up workout workshop event August twenty ninth,
- 25:31Speaker 2: and it's going to be around self love and being
- 25:34Speaker 2: worthy and it's also going to be talking about the
- 25:35Speaker 2: masculine and effeminine energetics in a partnership.
- 25:38Speaker 4: My last question for you is like, what do you
- 25:40Speaker 4: do as a job on a day to day Like
- 25:42Speaker 4: are you a like a fitness instructor that incorporates the
- 25:47Speaker 4: faith and spirituality, into the whole getting healthier process.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so the thing about spiritual fitness there, yes, so
- 25:54Speaker 2: spiritual fitness experts. So there's one part of my containing
- 25:57Speaker 2: of business, which is coaching person development, where we're setting attentions,
- 26:01Speaker 2: we're moving our body and as we're moving about to
- 26:03Speaker 2: say this was a workout, we're getting all these revelations down,
- 26:07Speaker 2: those questions. Then we're all putting it together. I'm just
- 26:09Speaker 2: a space folder. And then over time, your body change,
- 26:12Speaker 2: your life's changed. And then there's a part where some
- 26:14Speaker 2: people where it's more one on one container. I'm just
- 26:17Speaker 2: coaching and they're sitting on zoom and we're having these
- 26:19Speaker 2: deep conversations, like Ben and I and all of us,
- 26:23Speaker 2: and we're getting to the root of what we're trying
- 26:24Speaker 2: to bring through so we can be served and we
- 26:27Speaker 2: can serve our purpose. And over time people change because
- 26:30Speaker 2: I'm allowing people to be their true self. You know,
- 26:34Speaker 2: we all can be professional, but we also are human sometimes.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You know, I help three women get through divorce in
- 26:39Speaker 2: one year, and it would give me a real like
- 26:42Speaker 2: bird eye view of what happens in marriages. But people
- 26:45Speaker 2: don't talk about. However, these people are very successful and
- 26:48Speaker 2: have businesses, but you would never know. So I like
- 26:50Speaker 2: to get to the truth of life and not the
- 26:53Speaker 2: good stuff, like the stuff that are heavy. And having
- 26:56Speaker 2: my partner now, she taught me. She said, Babe, you
- 26:58Speaker 2: got to learn how to hold the heavy things lightly.
- 27:00Speaker 2: And I'm like, I like that. And so basically in
- 27:03Speaker 2: my business, yes, there's a movement aspect with people who
- 27:06Speaker 2: wants to training in physical movement, and then there's a
- 27:08Speaker 2: coaching which is more of a high level where it's
- 27:10Speaker 2: more we go really deep and we might get stuff
- 27:12Speaker 2: from like your childhood, your past, and everything in between.
- 27:16Speaker 2: So I just I love to let people see themselves
- 27:20Speaker 2: for who they really are and not to judge it.
- 27:22Speaker 2: And things get better and things change and people transform
- 27:25Speaker 2: and they tap into their spiritual fitness.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Well you're made for again.
- 27:30Speaker 6: Spiritual fitness is out if you're around Seattle August twenty ninth,
- 27:36Speaker 6: I'm sure you can find the link on Eric's social
- 27:39Speaker 6: media to attend that event, but until then, it probably
- 27:43Speaker 6: would help to go pick up the book and prepare
- 27:45Speaker 6: yourself for the day ahead. Eric Bigger, thanks for jumping on.
- 27:50Speaker 6: Congrats on the new book. Love you guys, what's your best?
- 27:53Speaker 3: Thank you?
- 27:53Speaker 5: This is wonderful.
