- 0:14Speaker 1: of a drug store looking for his cheating white.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Just pacing up and down these aisles.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Seventeen minutes later, chaos in the parking lot as he
- 0:25Speaker 1: comes face to face with the missus and her lover,
- 0:28Speaker 1: a married father of five.
- 0:29Speaker 3: You have five kids with him. He's doing this.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Dude, It's still hard to believe sometimes that that's her life.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Or Jason Matera with the steamy secret affair between coworkers.
- 0:39Speaker 2: They were having sex apparently sometimes in the office, and
- 0:43Speaker 2: that ended with three gunshots.
- 0:47Speaker 1: And left police asking who shot first?
- 0:50Speaker 5: Actor Pop Pop Pop.
- 0:52Speaker 2: The only eyewitness to what happens is Candy.
- 0:55Speaker 6: Hall, and I rather because I will no, no, no no.
- 0:58Speaker 2: She was lying, yeah, then he was definitely targeted.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Lee Viford ambushed in his own driveway.
- 1:06Speaker 7: It was looking like a saint.
- 1:07Speaker 1: For a movie, shot point blank. His buddy's sitting right
- 1:11Speaker 1: next to her.
- 1:12Speaker 8: Why do you think Lee Viford was shot and not Murphy.
- 1:17Speaker 9: That's something that Stella puzzles with me to today.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Our Nurisa Night investigates a murder mystery in Tennessee.
- 1:23Speaker 7: I look down and I see a black mask on
- 1:26Speaker 7: the ground.
- 1:27Speaker 10: Do you think the ski mask was planted there?
- 1:31Speaker 11: Right now, let's go Jason Mattera with Crimewatch Daily.

- 1:42Speaker 1: He is crime Watch Dally.
- 1:44Speaker 13: What do you mean you don't know?
- 1:44Speaker 14: If she's thirteen?
- 1:46Speaker 1: You're running away out here everyone. I'm Chris Hansen. Welcome
- 1:51Speaker 1: to Crime Watch Daily. First up today, two marriages, two affairs,
- 1:55Speaker 1: and three bullets. Our Jason Matteria is here now with
- 1:58Speaker 1: this sordid love story that ends with shots in the night.
- 2:02Speaker 11: Chris, We're here in Idaho, where a convicted murderer admits
- 2:05Speaker 11: he's a killer. He says, though we had no choice.
- 2:07Speaker 11: Today you'll hear all the evidence and decide is he
- 2:11Speaker 11: telling the truth. From a drug store parking lot in
- 2:15Speaker 11: the dead of night, comes a frantic nine call, A
- 2:22Speaker 11: violent showdown between two men find for the attention of
- 2:26Speaker 11: a blonde named Candy. Cops arrived to find the woman hysterical.
- 2:32Speaker 2: The only eyewitness to what happens is Candy Hall?
- 2:35Speaker 11: But which man is dead? The scorned husband or is
- 2:39Speaker 11: it her lover?
- 2:40Speaker 10: I begged him to stay home and fight for me.
- 2:42Speaker 11: Cops are about to discover a taundry lump triangle.
- 2:46Speaker 2: It's this kind of salacious story, and it's this murder.
- 2:51Speaker 11: The likes of which a tight knit community has never seen.
- 2:54Speaker 2: You've got two families that live really close to each other.
- 2:58Speaker 2: There's an affair, and.
- 3:00Speaker 4: And I opened up the front door to these three strangers.
- 3:03Speaker 4: They said, there's been two shots of a gun.
- 3:09Speaker 11: Candy Hall was the woman behind the harrowing nine to
- 3:12Speaker 11: one one call. Candy, her husband Rob, and their two
- 3:16Speaker 11: teenage daughters had just moved from California to Idaho, where
- 3:20Speaker 11: they settled in Meridiot, a quiet town at the foot
- 3:23Speaker 11: of the majestic Rockys.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Rob and Candy Hall had been married for more than
- 3:28Speaker 2: fifteen years, and, by a lot of accounts from their friends,
- 3:32Speaker 2: were happy.
- 3:34Speaker 11: Rob worked as a computer guy at the local sheriff's department.
- 3:37Speaker 11: Candy was a paralegal, but the forty year old wife
- 3:40Speaker 11: and mother was dealing with career struggles.
- 3:43Speaker 2: She had recently lost a job at another law firm,
- 3:45Speaker 2: and so she was looking for somewhere to work, and
- 3:48Speaker 2: that's how she met Emmett was through being a paralegal enter.
- 3:52Speaker 11: Emmett Corrigan, her soon to be bossed. The rising legal star,
- 3:56Speaker 11: was boyishly handsome, cocky and ambitious, and that just thirty
- 4:00Speaker 11: years old, had just opened his own law practice.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Emmett was by all accounts, an up and coming kind
- 4:07Speaker 2: of hotshot attorney.
- 4:09Speaker 11: Emmett appeared to lead a charmed life. Not only did
- 4:12Speaker 11: he have a thriving career, he had a beautiful wife
- 4:14Speaker 11: named Ashley.
- 4:16Speaker 3: How long were you and Emma dating before he proposed?
- 4:18Speaker 10: We were dating like two months.
- 4:21Speaker 4: We dated really fast and maybe we'll just kind of
- 4:24Speaker 4: knew it was what we wanted.
- 4:27Speaker 2: They were married in a Mormon temple. By the time
- 4:29Speaker 2: Ashley's thirty, she has five kids, three girls and two boys.
- 4:35Speaker 11: The Coregans were the picture of this squeaky clean all
- 4:38Speaker 11: American family, and with Emmittt's career on the up and up,
- 4:42Speaker 11: the future looked bright.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Emmett is very driven, very enthusiastic. He was going to
- 4:48Speaker 2: start taking more clients and be very successful.
- 4:52Speaker 11: And Candy was thrilled to be part of a vibrant
- 4:54Speaker 11: new firm. But just as her professional life was making
- 4:57Speaker 11: a turn for the better, her personal life was falling apart.
- 5:01Speaker 2: She was having problems in her own marriage. Candy at
- 5:05Speaker 2: times had told people that Rob had been abusive toward her,
- 5:09Speaker 2: that Rob had had an affair of his own.
- 5:12Speaker 11: Reeling from the news of her husband's infidelity, Candy immersed
- 5:15Speaker 11: herself into work, logging long hours at the office.
- 5:19Speaker 2: She was in a place where she was looking for
- 5:22Speaker 2: something else.
- 5:24Speaker 11: And it seems Candy found that something else in her
- 5:26Speaker 11: dashing young boss ten years her junior.
- 5:30Speaker 2: She was looking for something to be fulfilling to her.
- 5:36Speaker 11: It wasn't long before Candy and Emmett struck up a
- 5:38Speaker 11: tour at affair, exchanging racy emails, spicy text messages, and
- 5:42Speaker 11: indulging in late night rendezvous.
- 5:45Speaker 2: They were having sex, apparently sometimes in the office.
- 5:49Speaker 11: They tried to keep the relationship on the down low,
- 5:52Speaker 11: but soon the elicit affair became an open secret in
- 5:55Speaker 11: the office.
- 5:56Speaker 2: There were a number of coworkers who said they knew
- 5:59Speaker 2: what was going on. Clients also new in some cases.
- 6:03Speaker 11: And around that time, Ashley, newly pregnant with her fifth child,
- 6:07Speaker 11: noticed her husband becoming distant.
- 6:09Speaker 4: I started thinking, there's got to be another woman or something,
- 6:13Speaker 4: and the kids were starting to say, does he live
- 6:15Speaker 4: here anymore?
- 6:16Speaker 10: He's always at work.
- 6:18Speaker 11: Looking back, Ashley remembers from the get go she had
- 6:22Speaker 11: uneasy feelings about Emmette's new work wife.
- 6:25Speaker 4: I said, em I don't feel good about this one,
- 6:28Speaker 4: and he was like, what do you mean. She's like
- 6:29Speaker 4: a mother figure, Like she really believes in me. She
- 6:32Speaker 4: thinks that I'm going to be this great defense attorney.
- 6:35Speaker 11: A mother figure who showered new mom Ashley with gifts.
- 6:39Speaker 4: She had sent me presents when the baby was born,
- 6:42Speaker 4: for myself and the baby.
- 6:44Speaker 3: She sent me presents.
- 6:45Speaker 10: She sent me presents.
- 6:46Speaker 3: This is while she's having an affair with your husband.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Yep. I even took all of his baby pictures with
- 6:51Speaker 4: blankets that she had given me.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Did you suspect that she had a thing for your
- 6:57Speaker 3: husband or that he may have had one for her?
- 6:59Speaker 4: To be honest, I'd always be like, she's like forty,
- 7:02Speaker 4: he just turned thirty, Ashley.
- 7:04Speaker 10: No, there's no way.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I mean, you're you're twenty eight years old.
- 7:09Speaker 11: But despite glaring red flags flying, Ashley was convinced she
- 7:13Speaker 11: was paranoid when she made an appointment with a therapist
- 7:16Speaker 11: Emmett didn't show up.
- 7:18Speaker 4: They ended up going by myself to this appointment and
- 7:21Speaker 4: I kind of sat in there asking him to fix me,
- 7:25Speaker 4: like I think I have issues, and just like started
- 7:27Speaker 4: going off to this counselor and by the end he
- 7:29Speaker 4: was like, actually, I feel like something's really wrong.
- 7:33Speaker 11: Desperate to save her marriage, Ashley planned a special night.
- 7:36Speaker 11: She hoped it would finally convince her husband to stay home.
- 7:40Speaker 4: It was kind of one of those days where I'm like,
- 7:43Speaker 4: today's I need him to see us. I'm going to
- 7:45Speaker 4: have the kids all dressed to the nines and the
- 7:47Speaker 4: food and everything's gonna be perfect.
- 7:49Speaker 10: And he came home late.
- 7:50Speaker 4: The food was cold, the kids were tired, and he
- 7:53Speaker 4: didn't need to bite to my food.
- 7:55Speaker 11: And like so many other nights, Emmett picked a fight
- 7:58Speaker 11: and then took off.
- 7:59Speaker 10: Emmett came and said, Hey, I'm gonna run Walgreens real quick.
- 8:02Speaker 10: I got this cold.
- 8:03Speaker 4: I'm gonna I'm gonna go and just get some medicine.
- 8:07Speaker 4: And I knew he was gonna be gone a long time.
- 8:10Speaker 11: But this night of deceit would change everything forever. At
- 8:14Speaker 11: the same time, just a few miles away, Candy tells
- 8:16Speaker 11: her husband, She's going to run a quick errand.
- 8:19Speaker 2: So around nine o'clock, Candy her car pulls into Walgreens,
- 8:23Speaker 2: and then Emmett's truck pulls into Walgreens, and Candy says
- 8:26Speaker 2: she got an Emmett's truck, and then they went over
- 8:29Speaker 2: to a gas station filled up his truck with gas,
- 8:32Speaker 2: and then they went to a nearby subdivision and they
- 8:34Speaker 2: had sex in the truck.
- 8:37Speaker 11: Love and lust clearly had Candy and Emmett thinking. No
- 8:40Speaker 11: one knew until an odd coincidence would change everything. Candy's
- 8:46Speaker 11: daughter just happened to drive into the parking lot and
- 8:48Speaker 11: noticed her mom's empty car. Thinking it was strange, she
- 8:52Speaker 11: called her dad.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Well, Rob starts to wonder what's going on, and so
- 8:58Speaker 2: Rob called Candy's phone. Candy answered the phone, and Emmett
- 9:03Speaker 2: took the phone out of her hands. Candy says that
- 9:08Speaker 2: Emmett started to get threatening to Rob on the phone.
- 9:13Speaker 11: Robert heads to Walgreens, hellbent on finding his wife on
- 9:15Speaker 11: a supposed errand. As you can see on these store
- 9:19Speaker 11: surveillance videos, Rob parks his pickup truck, goes through the
- 9:22Speaker 11: front door, and roams the aisles looking for Candy. Never
- 9:25Speaker 11: realizing Candy and her lover Emmett were in his pickup truck.
- 9:30Speaker 11: Here you can see Rob leaving the store and checking
- 9:33Speaker 11: Candy's park BMW. Then strangely, he gets back into his
- 9:37Speaker 11: own pickup truck, pulls out and parks again on the
- 9:40Speaker 11: other side of Candy's car. His door is now just
- 9:43Speaker 11: out of range of the store surveillance camera. But the
- 9:47Speaker 11: unseen reality is Rob has a gun.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Rob Hall was armed with a gun that wasn't in
- 9:54Speaker 2: a holster.
- 9:55Speaker 11: And what happens next is a shocker.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Rob's gun was a from Candy coming up.
- 10:04Speaker 4: I remember looking around the room and everything just felt dizzy.
- 10:08Speaker 11: A tragedy of epic proportions that will leave one man
- 10:11Speaker 11: murdered and tear two families apart.
- 10:14Speaker 10: They said, there's been an accident and affair.
- 10:20Speaker 1: We're back now with more of our story Shots in
- 10:22Speaker 1: the Night once again. Here's Jason Vitta.
- 10:26Speaker 11: Rob holme High tells it over to Walgreens when he
- 10:29Speaker 11: learns his wife Candy is there and she's rendezvousing with
- 10:32Speaker 11: her lover, who also happens to be her boss.
- 10:36Speaker 2: In January, Rob sends Candy a message that says basically
- 10:41Speaker 2: good luck with Emmett. Once the honeymoon's over, Karma's a bitch.
- 10:45Speaker 10: I'll have the last laugh now.
- 10:48Speaker 11: Like a hunter stalking his prey, Rob pulls up to
- 10:51Speaker 11: Walgreens store. Surveillance tape shows Rob entering the drug store.
- 10:55Speaker 11: He paces the aisle looking for his wife, but there
- 10:58Speaker 11: is no sign of Candy. That's because she's with Emmett
- 11:02Speaker 11: having sex in his pickup truck.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Rob goes back out to his car. He then moves
- 11:09Speaker 2: his truck to the other side of Candy's car, which
- 11:12Speaker 2: is critical because he has now moved his car outside
- 11:15Speaker 2: of the surveillance camera shot In.
- 11:18Speaker 11: That parking spot next to Candy's car, Rob lays in
- 11:21Speaker 11: wait for his wife. Seventeen minutes later, Candy and Emmett
- 11:24Speaker 11: pull up and sees Rob. What they don't know is
- 11:27Speaker 11: he has a gun in his pocket and revenge on
- 11:30Speaker 11: his mind.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Candy says, at some point Rob provoked Emmett by saying,
- 11:36Speaker 2: why don't you go home to your wife? You have
- 11:38Speaker 2: five kids at home, and then that set Emmett off.
- 11:43Speaker 2: He pushed off of his truck and came at Rob.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Candy says she turned to leave and never saw what
- 11:49Speaker 2: happened after that.
- 11:52Speaker 11: What happened. Someone was about to end up dead.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Three gunshots. Emmett was in the chest and in the head,
- 12:02Speaker 2: and Rob had a gunshot wound, a gray's wound to
- 12:07Speaker 2: his head.
- 12:09Speaker 11: Candy frantically calls nine to one. One minutes later, help arrives,
- 12:15Speaker 11: but Emmitt is quickly bleeding out in the arms of
- 12:18Speaker 11: his lover, Candy.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Candy says she then runs over to Emmett and is
- 12:21Speaker 2: trying to put pressure on the wound, trying to figure
- 12:24Speaker 2: out what happened. She saw Rob start to get up,
- 12:28Speaker 2: and she said she actually grabbed the gun and she
- 12:31Speaker 2: threw it. She said she threw it like a bowling
- 12:33Speaker 2: ball across the parking lot.
- 12:35Speaker 11: It didn't matter. Em It died at the scene. Cops
- 12:37Speaker 11: swarm Will brings in a rest Rob on the spot,
- 12:41Speaker 11: But across town, Emmittt's wife, Ashley, is about to get
- 12:45Speaker 11: the worst unsuspected news imaginable.
- 12:48Speaker 4: And I opened up the front door to these three strangers.
- 12:51Speaker 4: They said, there's been there's been two shots of a gun.
- 12:54Speaker 4: There's been an accident in affair.
- 12:56Speaker 11: Ashley says. What happens next is a blurn.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Remember looking around the room and everything just felt dizzy,
- 13:03Speaker 4: and I almost felt worthless, like three people all were
- 13:07Speaker 4: making these twists that I had no idea, We're going
- 13:10Speaker 4: to change the rest of my life.
- 13:12Speaker 11: As she claimed she had no idea about Emma's affair
- 13:15Speaker 11: until that fatal night tragedy.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Of course, you lost the husband, your kids are now fatherless,
- 13:24Speaker 3: but the insult to the marriage as well. I mean,
- 13:26Speaker 3: how do you reconcile those feelings?
- 13:31Speaker 4: It just didn't make sense, and it was really a
- 13:34Speaker 4: mix of emotions, wondering like why wasn't I enough? Why
- 13:38Speaker 4: wasn't I enough for a husband who had a moment
- 13:40Speaker 4: and a chance. I begged him to stay home and
- 13:42Speaker 4: fight for me, but instead he died fighting for someone
- 13:44Speaker 4: else's wife.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Your husband died in the arms of another woman. How
- 13:50Speaker 3: did that make you feel worthless?
- 13:54Speaker 10: Ugly?
- 13:56Speaker 3: Fat?
- 13:56Speaker 4: I just had a baby, just alone, humiliated that the
- 14:05Speaker 4: whole town heard the same news the same time I did.
- 14:09Speaker 11: At the hospital, Rob is treated for head wounds. Cops
- 14:12Speaker 11: question him about the shooting.
- 14:14Speaker 2: He was on morphine. He's not being super lucid about
- 14:19Speaker 2: what's going on, and he says, Emmett shot me, And
- 14:22Speaker 2: then he says, I shot and he stops.
- 14:27Speaker 10: And he never says the end of the sentence.
- 14:30Speaker 11: What happened in that seventeen minute gap between the time
- 14:32Speaker 11: when Rob waits for his wife by her car and
- 14:35Speaker 11: Emmett winds up dead. Their surveillance cameras didn't capture the moment,
- 14:39Speaker 11: but there is one person who was there.
- 14:42Speaker 2: There are no witnesses in the parking lot or customers
- 14:46Speaker 2: or neighbors that saw someone pull a gun on someone else,
- 14:51Speaker 2: and the only eyewitness is Candy Hall.
- 14:55Speaker 11: And cops soon bring her in for questioning. When detectives
- 15:08Speaker 11: walk into the interrogation room, Candy is hysterical.
- 15:13Speaker 5: Yeah, please help us put this together as best as
- 15:20Speaker 5: we can. We'll match statements with evidence. I mean, you
- 15:23Speaker 5: know how police work.
- 15:24Speaker 11: I do it all date, Candy taels detectives. She went
- 15:29Speaker 11: to Walgreens to pick up a prescription and it's there
- 15:32Speaker 11: she met with Emmett, her boss. She says they are
- 15:35Speaker 11: just friends and needed to vent about her marital troubles.
- 15:39Speaker 15: Rob, my husband has he has had a really hard
- 15:44Speaker 15: time with me working with Emmett. Emmett being younger and
- 15:50Speaker 15: you know it is aggressive attorney and I have been
- 15:55Speaker 15: working with him since October.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Okay, are you and are you an Emmett involved in
- 16:03Speaker 5: a romantic relationship? Now have you ever been romantic Emmitt?
- 16:08Speaker 3: Now?
- 16:09Speaker 5: Okay, let's say sexual, and have you been sexual with
- 16:12Speaker 5: em now?
- 16:14Speaker 11: Candy is obviously lying to detectives her naughty emails, text
- 16:18Speaker 11: and coworkers would attest to that. Then she tells cop
- 16:21Speaker 11: she got an Emma's truck and they went to get gas.
- 16:24Speaker 11: Then she got a phone call.
- 16:26Speaker 15: So when I went and got gas at fred Meyer
- 16:31Speaker 15: with Emmett, and then.
- 16:33Speaker 12: We were driving back, my daughter called me and she said, mom,
- 16:37Speaker 12: or are you And I told her I was with
- 16:41Speaker 12: Michelle and I was my best friend Michelle because I
- 16:44Speaker 12: didn't want to tell her who.
- 16:45Speaker 4: I was with.
- 16:47Speaker 11: But Candy leaves out one very important detail. After getting gas,
- 16:51Speaker 11: the couple headed to a secluded spot to have sex
- 16:53Speaker 11: and his peck up. Candy's daughter sends something fishy about
- 16:56Speaker 11: her mom's Michelle story. That's when she called her dead.
- 17:01Speaker 15: So then Rob called and he called me and I
- 17:04Speaker 15: pick up and he's like, what are you doing? And
- 17:07Speaker 15: I said I am out. He said are you out
- 17:10Speaker 15: with Emmett? And I said I am And he said
- 17:13Speaker 15: what are you doing? And I said, we're just talking
- 17:15Speaker 15: and then Emmittt goes let me talk to him, and
- 17:18Speaker 15: then Emmett got really upset with Rob on the phone
- 17:21Speaker 15: and start and said something like I'll I'll break your heads.
- 17:27Speaker 11: Candy brushes off Amtt's threat and they drive back to
- 17:30Speaker 11: Long Greens. But when they arrived, Rob was lying in wait.
- 17:35Speaker 15: Emmittt got out of the truck and I got out
- 17:37Speaker 15: and I stood there and Rob came up and emm
- 17:41Speaker 15: it's a very aggressive man. He's a bodybuilds, you know,
- 17:50Speaker 15: so he's really pumped up all the time. And he
- 17:55Speaker 15: got like this close up into Rob's face and I
- 17:58Speaker 15: remember and I well, hey, no, I'll get off.
- 18:00Speaker 11: This is ridiculous, Candy says. When she turned to leave,
- 18:04Speaker 11: she heard the tragic sound rang out and.
- 18:07Speaker 13: I hear pop pop and then pop, and that all
- 18:10Speaker 13: I heard. And I turned around and both of them
- 18:13Speaker 13: were laying on the ground and then I ran it
- 18:16Speaker 13: over it and I was like, I was pretty stunned
- 18:19Speaker 13: at that point, and what in the rooks. I didn't
- 18:22Speaker 13: even know what the pop pop was.
- 18:23Speaker 5: It almost sounded like a.
- 18:24Speaker 6: Blues poppy and it was kind of like on his
- 18:28Speaker 6: like this, and I didn't know what was going and
- 18:32Speaker 6: I just see all this floating curs down his rough face.
- 18:36Speaker 6: So I went over and cover.
- 18:38Speaker 15: Hey, god, this on the tad not covering.
- 18:41Speaker 13: I'm calling nine one one.
- 18:45Speaker 11: Candy says she never actually saw the shooting. She then
- 18:47Speaker 11: describes how her husband Rob stood up after being shut
- 18:52Speaker 11: and he.
- 18:52Speaker 13: Was walking forward and I see him going down and
- 18:55Speaker 13: I grab I'm.
- 18:56Speaker 12: Like because I didn't know what he was grabbing for.
- 18:58Speaker 15: Because I didn't even see it.
- 19:00Speaker 12: Because it's little.
- 19:02Speaker 11: Rob was reaching for the gun. A terrified Candy didn't
- 19:05Speaker 11: know what her husband would do next.
- 19:07Speaker 13: So I grabbed it. And I was holding on to
- 19:10Speaker 13: his shirt because it looks like he was gonna fall,
- 19:12Speaker 13: and I.
- 19:13Speaker 15: Grabbed it him.
- 19:14Speaker 13: I will no, no, no, no, and I'm I'm like, no,
- 19:16Speaker 13: you need it to don no.
- 19:18Speaker 12: And I took it and I threw it in the
- 19:19Speaker 12: street and that's that's all and then he collapsed.
- 19:25Speaker 11: Up next fired first the stunning trial that robbed a
- 19:28Speaker 11: small town of its innocence. As Candy Hall takes.
- 19:32Speaker 4: The sand, the judge said that he's never had somebody
- 19:35Speaker 4: change their story so many times she was lying yeah.
- 19:39Speaker 11: And in court, a shocking moment as Ashley finally comes
- 19:42Speaker 11: face to face with the couple who changed the course
- 19:45Speaker 11: of her life forever.
- 19:47Speaker 4: Her and her husband at the trial were very loving
- 19:50Speaker 4: to each other, saying I'm sorry, I still love you.
- 19:56Speaker 1: We're back now with more on the shooting death of
- 19:58Speaker 1: Emmed Corgan. Once again, here's reporter Jason Lettera Chris.
- 20:02Speaker 11: This is one of the wildest stories I've covered. A
- 20:05Speaker 11: successful married lawyer having an affair ends up dead. Everyone
- 20:08Speaker 11: knows who pulled the trigger, but some are questioning who
- 20:12Speaker 11: shot first. Two married couples, seven kids, and the single
- 20:18Speaker 11: moment that shattered it all. Candy Hall, the woman at
- 20:22Speaker 11: the center of a twisted left triangle, is under the microscope.
- 20:26Speaker 2: These two families were forever changed by the actions of
- 20:32Speaker 2: three adults.
- 20:34Speaker 11: Her lover, em mccorrigan is dead and scorned husband Rob
- 20:37Speaker 11: Hole is now on trial for murder.
- 20:40Speaker 4: And unfortunately, there were so many other pass he could
- 20:43Speaker 4: have taken.
- 20:44Speaker 11: Four weeks, Salatia's secrets spilled out of the courtroom, the
- 20:47Speaker 11: defense arguing that Rob Hale was pushed to the brink
- 20:50Speaker 11: of madness a man consumed with jealousy over his wife's
- 20:54Speaker 11: affair with her boss. But they claimed he shot in
- 20:57Speaker 11: self defense after an altercation with Emmett.
- 21:01Speaker 2: The defense really worked to paint Emmett as an aggressive
- 21:05Speaker 2: sort of person who had a temper.
- 21:09Speaker 11: The prosecution painted Rob as a man obsessed who hunted
- 21:13Speaker 11: down his wife and her lover, first taking Emmett, then
- 21:17Speaker 11: turning the gun on himself.
- 21:19Speaker 2: One of the pieces of critical evidence for the prosecution
- 21:22Speaker 2: was that in Rob Hall's truck he had been carrying
- 21:26Speaker 2: around these printed out emails between him and his wife,
- 21:31Speaker 2: and these emails were talking about the affair with Emmett,
- 21:35Speaker 2: and so the prosecutor said, he's angry. He went there angry.
- 21:41Speaker 11: And then there's the matter of Rob's gun, which ironically
- 21:44Speaker 11: was a gift from Candy.
- 21:46Speaker 2: The most damning evidence appeared to be the fact that
- 21:49Speaker 2: Rob Hall's gun holster was in his center console, and
- 21:55Speaker 2: a gun expert that testified said, you don't take your
- 21:59Speaker 2: gun out of your whole unless you intend to aim
- 22:01Speaker 2: it at somebody or something.
- 22:03Speaker 11: What exactly happened during those critical seventeen minutes before the
- 22:07Speaker 11: shooting is actually a mystery, leaving attorneys to fill in
- 22:10Speaker 11: the blanks.
- 22:11Speaker 2: So there are these wedges of surveillance tape that are
- 22:14Speaker 2: missing that don't show Rob getting out of his car
- 22:17Speaker 2: so we don't know. Did he jump out of his
- 22:22Speaker 2: car with his gun pulled, We don't know did he
- 22:25Speaker 2: casually get out of his car and walk over. We
- 22:28Speaker 2: can't see anything.
- 22:31Speaker 11: And neither did anyone else. There was only a single
- 22:34Speaker 11: witness to the fatal shooting, Candy Hall.
- 22:38Speaker 2: You also have just kind of this incredible eyewitness who
- 22:43Speaker 2: didn't actually eyewitness anything she says.
- 22:46Speaker 11: She says being the key point here. In fact, a
- 22:49Speaker 11: lot of what Candy said on the stand changed depending
- 22:52Speaker 11: on the day. One of many stories she changes was
- 22:56Speaker 11: whether or not Rob and Emmett actually had physical contact
- 22:59Speaker 11: in the moments before the shooting.
- 23:01Speaker 2: She would tell them what they wanted to hear, basically.
- 23:04Speaker 11: And as you can hear in this court memorial tape,
- 23:07Speaker 11: even the judge was at his wits end.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Frankly, any testimony by Ms Hall in my thirty one
- 23:15Speaker 2: years on the bench, I don't think I've seen a
- 23:17Speaker 2: witness more thoroughly discredited.
- 23:19Speaker 4: In the course of the proceeding, the judge said that
- 23:22Speaker 4: he's never had somebody change their story so many times
- 23:25Speaker 4: she was lying.
- 23:26Speaker 11: Yeah, And to add insult to injury, Ashley and its
- 23:30Speaker 11: wife was shocked by how lovey dovey. The holes carried
- 23:33Speaker 11: on in court. The two rekindled they're failing love after
- 23:37Speaker 11: the shooting.
- 23:38Speaker 3: What was Candy's demeanor at trial?
- 23:40Speaker 4: Her and her husband at the trial were very loving
- 23:43Speaker 4: to each other, saying I'm sorry I used to love you.
- 23:47Speaker 11: Then, after both sides rested, the moment Ashley had been
- 23:50Speaker 11: waiting for.
- 23:51Speaker 4: I remember the last day, walking in as the judge
- 23:54Speaker 4: is standing up to announce the verdict, and I thought
- 23:57Speaker 4: I was going to have that beauty in the beast rooftop,
- 23:59Speaker 4: the light shines through you and everything fells whole, And
- 24:03Speaker 4: instead the judge stood up and announced everything, and all
- 24:06Speaker 4: I could see was these two mothers, a mother whose
- 24:09Speaker 4: son was now going to be in jail for a
- 24:11Speaker 4: long time and a mother whose son had been killed.
- 24:13Speaker 4: And it like it tore me apart, realizing that there's
- 24:17Speaker 4: other people hurting, probably just as much as me.
- 24:21Speaker 11: Now, listen to this audio recording. As the judge reads
- 24:24Speaker 11: the verdict, is.
- 24:25Speaker 15: It jury reached the unanimous verdict.
- 24:28Speaker 11: Mister Hall, if you could please stand, is Robert Dean
- 24:31Speaker 11: Hall guilty or not guilty of second degree murder? Guilty
- 24:37Speaker 11: guilty of murder in this second degree? But Before the sentencing,
- 24:40Speaker 11: Emmittt's family had scathing words for Rob Hole.
- 24:44Speaker 9: Second you took out that gun at the holster, you
- 24:47Speaker 9: already knew what you were going to do with it,
- 24:50Speaker 9: didn't you?
- 24:51Speaker 11: You kill my son Finess.
- 24:54Speaker 5: My other.
- 24:56Speaker 10: I need and he should be.
- 25:00Speaker 16: Let me tell you about my baby's pounding on a casket,
- 25:06Speaker 16: their heroes body lying inside, screaming for him to wake up,
- 25:13Speaker 16: and screaming at me because I was thinking telling him
- 25:16Speaker 16: that we couldn't open the box.
- 25:18Speaker 11: Then it was Rob Hall's turn to speak.
- 25:20Speaker 17: The shockwave's gone that it shattered and his wife, Ashley
- 25:26Speaker 17: and their children. Yeah, I'm so sorry.
- 25:33Speaker 11: But sorry, We'll never fix the pain he's caused so
- 25:36Speaker 11: many people. Hall was sentenced to thirty years in prison,
- 25:39Speaker 11: will be eligible for parole in twenty thirty, just past
- 25:42Speaker 11: his sixtieth birthday.
- 25:44Speaker 3: What would you say if you were able to talk
- 25:46Speaker 3: to Candy?
- 25:46Speaker 4: No, I'd probably just tell him that I forgive him,
- 25:50Speaker 4: because holding on to hate for anybody for me hasn't worked.
- 25:55Speaker 10: All it's done is stop me from living.
- 25:58Speaker 11: And as for Candy, he was sent to prison, but
- 26:01Speaker 11: not for it that fatal night. She served eighteen months
- 26:04Speaker 11: for embezzling from another law firm.
- 26:07Speaker 3: So she's made a series of poor decisions.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:09Speaker 10: I think a lot of people in my story have.
- 26:12Speaker 11: But as for Ashley's story, her next chapter is one
- 26:14Speaker 11: of incredible strength and courage. The mother of five is
- 26:18Speaker 11: now a motivational speaker, has written three books. And as
- 26:21Speaker 11: for her kids.
- 26:22Speaker 3: What do you tell your kids about their father?
- 26:25Speaker 10: They'd come home from school.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Hey, my friend said he saw in the news this
- 26:29Speaker 4: and this and this, And at first I was tempted
- 26:33Speaker 4: to lie, he got in a wreck.
- 26:34Speaker 10: Everything's gonna be okay.
- 26:35Speaker 4: And then I realized that Liza what got us where
- 26:38Speaker 4: we were. So now we talk about as good qualities,
- 26:41Speaker 4: but we also talk about the choices that he made
- 26:43Speaker 4: and how our choices do determine our destiny.
- 26:46Speaker 10: And I think for them it's given.
- 26:48Speaker 4: Them a reason to try harder in life, and to
- 26:51Speaker 4: make good choices and to always put your best foot forward.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Up next, a man an ambush downside his home on
- 27:01Speaker 1: his thirty seventh birthday. Then a piece of evidence mysteriously
- 27:06Speaker 1: shows up on the driveway.
- 27:08Speaker 2: Is that odd to you?
- 27:09Speaker 9: It's very odd.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Prime Watch Daily digs into the unsolved case and why
- 27:13Speaker 1: his loved ones believe Lee was targeted.
- 27:16Speaker 18: If it was random, and how do they know when
- 27:18Speaker 18: he was coming home?
- 27:19Speaker 19: Coming on?
- 27:23Speaker 1: Our next story starts on a cold and rainy night
- 27:25Speaker 1: in Tennessee. However, that wet weather couldn't dampen the spirits
- 27:29Speaker 1: of Lee Byford, who was celebrating a big day. Sadly,
- 27:32Speaker 1: all that would change in an instant. Our Nurisa Night
- 27:35Speaker 1: is here now with.
- 27:36Speaker 14: More a last minute decision, and I'll be right back.
- 27:41Speaker 7: I said, are you sure he's that?
- 27:42Speaker 20: I'm positive with deadly consequences he's caught, leaving some to
- 27:48Speaker 20: wonder was it a random robbery or a targeted hit.
- 27:52Speaker 2: He was definitely targeted.
- 27:54Speaker 18: None of it adds up.
- 27:57Speaker 20: It's Lee by First, thirty seventh birthday. Little does he
- 28:00Speaker 20: know it's also the day he will die. Just hours
- 28:04Speaker 20: before the tragedy, Lee's mother and Mariotni, woke up excited
- 28:09Speaker 20: to be the first to wish her son a happy birthday.
- 28:12Speaker 19: I've talked to late twice that day because it was
- 28:14Speaker 19: his birthday.
- 28:17Speaker 20: Lee tells his mom he plans to have dinner with
- 28:19Speaker 20: his girlfriend Tiffany.
- 28:21Speaker 7: I'm gonna kind of like decorate my liv room and
- 28:25Speaker 7: dining room and fix him something to eat, so when
- 28:27Speaker 7: he gets off, you know, he can kind of celebrate
- 28:30Speaker 7: his birthday a little bit.
- 28:32Speaker 20: Lee had just put in a long day at his Knoxville, Tennessee,
- 28:35Speaker 20: auto painting shop with his friend and co worker, Jackie Sutton.
- 28:39Speaker 10: You were one of the last people with Lee.
- 28:43Speaker 8: You were with Lee all day the day he was
- 28:45Speaker 8: murdered all day.
- 28:46Speaker 19: Long, and I had worked from I want to say
- 28:51Speaker 19: it was nine thirty till six six thirty somewhere around there,
- 28:56Speaker 19: and he was going home to eat.
- 28:58Speaker 20: But when Lee arrives home after work, he's unusually late
- 29:02Speaker 20: and not alone.
- 29:03Speaker 7: He came in the house.
- 29:04Speaker 10: I was like, you're late.
- 29:06Speaker 7: You know, I had something planned for you, and he
- 29:09Speaker 7: was like, I know, I understand, he said, but I
- 29:11Speaker 7: have to take Jerride home.
- 29:14Speaker 20: Jirrod is Jerrod Murphy, a new buddy of Lee's.
- 29:19Speaker 18: Drawed and Lee were introduced from Lee's friend. Durry was
- 29:23Speaker 18: out of work at the time and needed to make
- 29:25Speaker 18: some money, and asked him, do you have anything you
- 29:28Speaker 18: need done at your business where he could work for you.
- 29:31Speaker 9: A little bit.
- 29:32Speaker 10: He was trying to help him out.
- 29:33Speaker 18: He was trying to help him out.
- 29:35Speaker 14: And on this night that included a ride home.
- 29:38Speaker 7: And I said, okay, so when when you be back?
- 29:41Speaker 7: He said, I'll be back a little later. I promise.
- 29:44Speaker 20: I said, okay, but it's a promise Lee won't keep.
- 29:48Speaker 20: Within seconds of stepping outside of his house, I.
- 29:51Speaker 7: Heard like something ricocheting off of his truck. So I
- 29:55Speaker 7: was like, what the heck was that.
- 29:59Speaker 14: Panicked, Tiffany flings open the curtains.
- 30:02Speaker 11: Oh my god, what is going on.
- 30:05Speaker 7: I've seen a guy like about five five or something
- 30:09Speaker 7: with a blue hoodie on, like it was all covered
- 30:12Speaker 7: up his face, like he had a black mask on
- 30:15Speaker 7: or something, black gloves. He had a gun pointing directly
- 30:19Speaker 7: at his suv.
- 30:21Speaker 20: Screaming at the top of her lungs, Tiffany runs out
- 30:24Speaker 20: on the front porch. The mask gunman doesn't flinch and
- 30:27Speaker 20: runs to the driver's side window.
- 30:29Speaker 11: Of Lee's suv.
- 30:31Speaker 20: Now he is mere inches from Lee, who has managed
- 30:34Speaker 20: to lock the door.
- 30:35Speaker 7: But he was beating on the side of his window,
- 30:38Speaker 7: and I was on the port screaming, please Leaf, I'm alone,
- 30:42Speaker 7: go away.
- 30:43Speaker 14: But the mask gunman won't back off.
- 30:46Speaker 9: At that point, the gunman is trying to open the door.
- 30:51Speaker 20: Knoxville Police investigator Brandon Wardlaw says that at that moment,
- 30:55Speaker 20: Lee was in big trouble.
- 30:57Speaker 9: Byford puts the truck reverse, tries to back down the hill.
- 31:00Speaker 9: I would say to get away.
- 31:02Speaker 20: As Lee Byford races away in reverse. Gerrod Murphy sits
- 31:07Speaker 20: in the passenger seat.
- 31:08Speaker 9: The next thing you know, there's a gunshot. At that point,
- 31:12Speaker 9: he says, Buyfer looks at him and says, I think
- 31:14Speaker 9: I'm here.
- 31:16Speaker 20: Tragically, Lee has been gravely wounded in the left side
- 31:19Speaker 20: of his chest. Investigators say at that point Murphy stepped
- 31:23Speaker 20: on the accelerator.
- 31:24Speaker 21: After Byford's shot, the truck rolls down the driveway from
- 31:28Speaker 21: where he initially had stopped when he got home. It
- 31:31Speaker 21: actually gets stuck right here where the driveway and the
- 31:36Speaker 21: street meet. There's a little ditch here.
- 31:38Speaker 14: Cops are on the scene.
- 31:39Speaker 20: Quickly investigators secure the area, but the mass gunman is
- 31:44Speaker 20: nowhere to be found. Lee Byford is still behind the
- 31:47Speaker 20: wheel of his SUV and he's not movie.
- 31:51Speaker 9: Bifer was pronounced dead on the scene, and.
- 31:54Speaker 14: The passenger in the car, Gerrod Murphy.
- 31:57Speaker 8: Murphy didn't have a scratch on no man.
- 32:00Speaker 14: Police interviewed Rod.
- 32:02Speaker 20: He tells investigators he was sitting in the passenger seat
- 32:05Speaker 20: waiting for Lee to come out of his house.
- 32:07Speaker 9: Next thing he knowed, the gunman comes from around the fence.
- 32:12Speaker 9: Bifer tries to get back to the vehicle and he's
- 32:15Speaker 9: able to get in the driver's side and close the door.
- 32:18Speaker 20: And that's when Girod says, the mask man fired his
- 32:22Speaker 20: gun point blank at Lee.
- 32:24Speaker 8: Why do you think Lee Byford was shot and not Murphy.
- 32:30Speaker 9: That's something that still puzzles with me to today. This
- 32:32Speaker 9: whole thing's kind of it's mind bodment.
- 32:35Speaker 14: Investigators process the crime scene.
- 32:37Speaker 20: It appears to be a straightforward robbery minus one thing.
- 32:41Speaker 14: The robbery.
- 32:42Speaker 9: Nothing was taken. I think that once by forgot in
- 32:46Speaker 9: the truck, he mess messed the whole thing up. If
- 32:48Speaker 9: they could have got to him before he got in
- 32:50Speaker 9: the vehicle and got whatever they thought he had on him,
- 32:53Speaker 9: I think they would have just took it and ram.
- 32:56Speaker 20: Investigators scour the crime scene looking for anything that will
- 32:59Speaker 20: point them in the direction of a potential suspect.
- 33:02Speaker 9: We were able to locate a piece of chewing gum,
- 33:05Speaker 9: I think an ear ring that we confiscated. We actually
- 33:09Speaker 9: went back the next day with a metal detector to
- 33:12Speaker 9: make sure we missed. We didn't miss any shell casings.
- 33:16Speaker 20: The one thing cops do have is a partial description
- 33:19Speaker 20: of the gunman in.
- 33:20Speaker 9: A blue hoodie or sweatshirt and a black ski mask.
- 33:24Speaker 20: Then, just days after the shooting, Knoxville police get what
- 33:27Speaker 20: seems to be a huge break in the case when
- 33:30Speaker 20: they receive a call from Lee's girlfriend.
- 33:33Speaker 7: I'm at the house. I look down and I see
- 33:36Speaker 7: a black mask on the ground.
- 33:39Speaker 20: Wait a minute, now, you tell me you found something
- 33:43Speaker 20: as small as an.
- 33:43Speaker 8: Ear ring in the driveway that night, and then the
- 33:47Speaker 8: next day you also searched and you found chewing gum
- 33:50Speaker 8: and other things. But then two days later you get
- 33:54Speaker 8: a call that there's a ski mask that just shows
- 33:58Speaker 8: up in the driveway. Yes, ma'am, is that odd to you?
- 34:02Speaker 14: There's no way I missed this steel as coming up?
- 34:05Speaker 14: Did Lee know his killer?
- 34:07Speaker 9: This thanks to be kept hush hush someone in his circle.
- 34:11Speaker 20: Cops are beginning to wonder if this was a robbery
- 34:14Speaker 20: gone wrong or a well thought out execution.
- 34:19Speaker 19: At least somebody came there with intentions.
- 34:22Speaker 20: But who does the family think is behind the hitt?
- 34:25Speaker 2: A really scary bad guy.
- 34:31Speaker 1: We're back with more in the shooting death of Lee Vifer.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Once again, here's nurishanit.
- 34:35Speaker 22: In Tennessee, Chris Biford had been at work at his
- 34:39Speaker 22: auto body shop all day. He then made a quick
- 34:42Speaker 22: stop at home when he would walk back outside, though
- 34:46Speaker 22: he'd be walking into a trap.
- 34:49Speaker 20: Lee Beyford is shot to death outside his Knoxville, Tennessee home,
- 34:53Speaker 20: on his thirty seventh birthday.
- 34:55Speaker 15: WI how many you woun't think it's just the worst
- 34:59Speaker 15: first day.
- 35:00Speaker 10: You can never imagine.
- 35:02Speaker 20: Police suspect a robbery gone wrong, but Lee's friends and
- 35:05Speaker 20: family believed it was something else.
- 35:08Speaker 3: I think it was targeted.
- 35:09Speaker 14: But who would set up Lee? And why? Lee's loved
- 35:13Speaker 14: ones say, you don't have to look very.
- 35:15Speaker 4: Far Gerrod with me the passenger's sake the whole time
- 35:18Speaker 4: is what I'm telling right next to your son when
- 35:21Speaker 4: he was murdered.
- 35:23Speaker 20: The Knoxville man's friends and family claimed they had plenty
- 35:26Speaker 20: of reasons to believe that Lee's new buddy, Gerrod Murphy
- 35:30Speaker 20: set him up. Lee's girlfriend Tiffany claims Lee told her
- 35:34Speaker 20: that Gerard was working with him on the day of
- 35:36Speaker 20: the incident, and according to Tiffany, that meant Gerard had
- 35:40Speaker 20: first hand knowledge of one key thing.
- 35:43Speaker 7: Lee told me he was gonna get five hundred dollars
- 35:46Speaker 7: that day.
- 35:47Speaker 20: And the payment would be in cold, hard cash, something
- 35:51Speaker 20: Knoxville police say could have made Lee a marked man.
- 35:55Speaker 20: Do you believe this is someone who knew Lee Byford
- 35:58Speaker 20: and knew that he would have cash, Yes, ma'am. But
- 36:02Speaker 20: Lee's best friend, Dean, has some serious questions about the
- 36:06Speaker 20: robbery gone wrong theory.
- 36:08Speaker 18: If it was random, how do they know when he
- 36:10Speaker 18: was coming home?
- 36:12Speaker 14: Then there's the fact of where Lee lived. It's not
- 36:15Speaker 14: easy to find.
- 36:16Speaker 18: You wouldn't stumble across it. So how would anybody that
- 36:19Speaker 18: didn't know Lee know where he lives, or even if
- 36:23Speaker 18: they did, there's only so many people that had even
- 36:26Speaker 18: been there.
- 36:27Speaker 20: And Lee's mother points to something odd that Girard did
- 36:31Speaker 20: right after the murder. According to police, when they arrived
- 36:35Speaker 20: on scene, they discovered Gerrod walking up from the bullet
- 36:38Speaker 20: riddled suv toward Lee's house.
- 36:40Speaker 4: The fact that he was walking back, that's what it's
- 36:43Speaker 4: always bothered.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Me, because the shooter is still out there.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Yes, he'd be afraid, I would think so.
- 36:50Speaker 14: And you'll remember Lee arrived home late on the night
- 36:53Speaker 14: he was killed. Now, cops can confirm where he was
- 36:57Speaker 14: just minutes before he was murdered.
- 37:00Speaker 9: We have video surveillance of Buyford and Gid Murphy going
- 37:03Speaker 9: to the Stock and Go market before they ended up
- 37:06Speaker 9: going to Buyferd's residence where the incident took place.
- 37:09Speaker 22: So about five minutes before he was shot, he was
- 37:11Speaker 22: at the convenience.
- 37:12Speaker 9: Store this, ma'am.
- 37:14Speaker 20: The surveillance video has not been made public, but reportedly
- 37:17Speaker 20: it shows Lee going inside the store to buy a
- 37:20Speaker 20: drink and then Girod is seen walking out of frame
- 37:24Speaker 20: to talk to someone.
- 37:26Speaker 14: That makes Lee's family very suspicious.
- 37:29Speaker 20: But investigator word loss as Gerrod has been cooperative and
- 37:33Speaker 20: his story about the night in question appears to be credible.
- 37:37Speaker 9: He was actually he came in and spoke to me
- 37:39Speaker 9: on three different occasions. But he's in a very odd
- 37:42Speaker 9: situation from sitting in the car with Buyford when the
- 37:45Speaker 9: incident took place, and going from being a witness to
- 37:49Speaker 9: being accused by several people that he might have something
- 37:52Speaker 9: to do with it or he said it. Set this
- 37:54Speaker 9: whole situation up.
- 37:55Speaker 14: Is drawn Murphy a person.
- 37:57Speaker 9: Of interest right now, he's a witness for me. I
- 38:01Speaker 9: have nothing pointing to him showing that he could have
- 38:04Speaker 9: anyway set this up or done it.
- 38:06Speaker 20: Gerard Murphy has not been arrested or charged in any
- 38:09Speaker 20: connection with Lee Byford's death, leaving Lee's family and friends
- 38:14Speaker 20: desperate for answers.
- 38:16Speaker 18: I would love it if you guys could make contact
- 38:18Speaker 18: with Girod and have him retail the accounts of that night.
- 38:22Speaker 3: You know what really happened.
- 38:24Speaker 20: We start looking for Gerard and find him online in
- 38:27Speaker 20: homemade rap music videos he posted to YouTube.
- 38:31Speaker 14: This one is called money Up.
- 38:34Speaker 20: From last known addresses listed for Gerrod, we zero in
- 38:37Speaker 20: on this home. Gerrod was reportedly living here with his brother,
- 38:41Speaker 20: and the house appears to match the background.
- 38:44Speaker 14: That was featured in some of Gerrod's.
- 38:46Speaker 20: Music videos, and as we set up our cameras, it appears.
- 38:49Speaker 14: Someone is home. The man identifies himself as Gerard's uncle.
- 38:54Speaker 23: He does not live here, neither one of them. Now
- 38:56Speaker 23: you put that on the air. He do not live here.
- 39:00Speaker 23: This is my house. They don't live here. They got
- 39:03Speaker 23: their own houses. I don't care if they shoot videos wherever. Yes,
- 39:06Speaker 23: theay my nephews. I don't know what they'd undone. Don't
- 39:10Speaker 23: come back over here.
- 39:11Speaker 20: It's been five years since Lee's murdering. His family has
- 39:15Speaker 20: offered a five thousand dollars reward and still no answers.
- 39:19Speaker 9: No tips, whatsoever, not one call.
- 39:23Speaker 20: January fifth would have been Lee's forty seconds birthday. Tragically,
- 39:28Speaker 20: his mother now has to celebrate her son's life and
- 39:32Speaker 20: death on the same day.
- 39:34Speaker 22: What would you say to someone who knows who took
- 39:37Speaker 22: your son away from you and everyone else?
- 39:40Speaker 2: I would say as a mother if that were your son,
- 39:43Speaker 2: what would you do?
- 39:44Speaker 4: You need to pick up we need we need closure,
- 39:49Speaker 4: and we need justice.
