- 0:54Speaker 2: Hold on? Hold on, hold on?
- 0:56Speaker 5: Uh happy Bobby Bonie?
- 1:01Speaker 4: A Day one.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Million screenshot at it last night because I know this
- 1:07Speaker 3: is one of your favorite days.
- 1:09Speaker 5: I love this day one point one nine to three
- 1:12Speaker 5: million dollars.
- 1:13Speaker 4: We only have ten more of these five but.
- 1:18Speaker 5: I was shocked that we still have one decade left
- 1:21Speaker 5: Bobby Day.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I mean, how long ago did he get that contract?
- 1:24Speaker 5: I know, famously signed his contract deferred payment. Yes, I
- 1:28Speaker 5: know there's a lot of inflation in the air, and
- 1:30Speaker 5: blah blah blah, it's not worth the same amount of money.
- 1:32Speaker 5: He probably should have just taken it all and invested it,
- 1:34Speaker 5: but who cares. It's really cool and little known fact.
- 1:37Speaker 5: I didn't know this. There's actually a second Bobby Day.
- 1:41Speaker 5: Did y'all know this? He signed another deferred contract with
- 1:46Speaker 5: the Orioles that pays him a half a million dollars
- 1:49Speaker 5: once a year from two thousand and four all the
- 1:51Speaker 5: way to twenty twenty eight.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I mean, if Bobby that's one.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Point, he's backing up million nine three every year.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I mean, if he did it right, he's still living large.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Oh, I'm sure he did it right, you know. I
- 2:04Speaker 3: mean he's still living large. He's still getting that money.
- 2:06Speaker 3: He guaranteed. He knows every single year it's coming his way,
- 2:11Speaker 3: no matter if he's down and out, no matter what,
- 2:12Speaker 3: he's getting almost two million wonderful from those two teams.
- 2:17Speaker 5: Wonder if he's living paycheck to paycheck?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Just true?
- 2:21Speaker 5: Well, I wonder for like the first twenty years he
- 2:23Speaker 5: was like, look, I'm gonna live it up, live paycheck
- 2:25Speaker 5: to paycheck for you know, the first fifteen to twenty
- 2:27Speaker 5: years of this contract. Then I'll I'll save the last
- 2:30Speaker 5: ten years. I'll save it up, invest in the old retirement.
- 2:34Speaker 5: Do you think he did it?
- 2:36Speaker 1: No?
- 2:36Speaker 6: I think he probably played a little smarter.
- 2:39Speaker 5: I'm sure he seems like a pretty uh pretty smart
- 2:42Speaker 5: guy to sign that contract when he did.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. But I mean I look it
- 2:47Speaker 2: back on hindsight's twenty twenty.
- 2:48Speaker 5: Always you're like, well, oh, yeah, we'll look at the
- 2:50Speaker 5: economy now, blah blah blah, and yeah, maybe he should
- 2:53Speaker 5: have should have hindsight, But at the time, it's like, yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 5: you give me a million.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Well, there's been times throughout the hobby Bo contract that
- 3:01Speaker 3: the economy has been good.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so he's you hit every peaking.
- 3:06Speaker 5: I was looking on Twitter this morning driving in and
- 3:08Speaker 5: like all these nerds were like pumping all these statistical
- 3:12Speaker 5: facts about inflations up, like forty nine point three psu
- 3:15Speaker 5: blah blah blah, and uh They're like, well, yeah, his
- 3:18Speaker 5: contracts only worth six hundred and sixty thousand.
- 3:20Speaker 4: No, I mean it's still six hundred Yeah, but he
- 3:24Speaker 4: undred sixty thousand on the couch and then.
- 3:26Speaker 7: Another five's coming over billion.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Yeah he's gonna be okay, he's gonna do okay, he
- 3:32Speaker 3: gonna be the only money.
- 3:34Speaker 2: That he made. Yeah, true, Yeah, that's very true.
- 3:38Speaker 5: But I was just kind of shocked. I was excited
- 3:40Speaker 5: UH to find out that there is a second Bobby
- 3:43Speaker 5: by a Day, which I didn't know about. I'm looking
- 3:46Speaker 5: around nobody else I knew about.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I didn't know about that. I knew about it.
- 3:50Speaker 5: A million dollars from the Orioles. He didn't care about
- 3:53Speaker 5: getting money. He's like, no, don't pay me, I'll pay
- 3:54Speaker 5: for free. But from two thousand and four to twenty
- 3:57Speaker 5: twenty eight, you're gonna pay me half a million.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Now we've seen more phy like showy Toy's actually in
- 4:02Speaker 3: a contract that's not as long, but it's it's like
- 4:05Speaker 3: this like a ton of deferred payment.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I wonder what made Bobby bo do that?
- 4:10Speaker 3: Back in the day he's playing chess okay, but still
- 4:14Speaker 3: nobody else is doing that.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I don't think what made him do it.
- 4:17Speaker 5: I know it's kind of like who was the first
- 4:18Speaker 5: person that took Uh? I wanted some payment at Crypto?
- 4:21Speaker 5: Was it Russell Okum for Seattle? He wanted some he
- 4:25Speaker 5: wanted crypto?
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah, that's well?
- 4:28Speaker 4: Was it?
- 4:29Speaker 5: Like?
- 4:31Speaker 2: It was like.
- 4:33Speaker 4: I get it now?
- 4:34Speaker 3: Sure?
- 4:34Speaker 4: But like when he retired he retired in what twenty sixteen, seventeen,
- 4:38Speaker 4: I guess it was booming at that point. Like he
- 4:41Speaker 4: took that one right now too.
- 4:44Speaker 3: I still think it's a skin I saw someone had. Well, look,
- 4:47Speaker 3: I'm with you if I can't see it touch it whole.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Like, yeah, I don't with you.
- 4:50Speaker 4: I agree he probably he probably did come out ahead
- 4:53Speaker 4: on nothing.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I did see somebody went to a game stop and
- 4:55Speaker 3: there was some trading cards, something very tea bobbish.
- 4:59Speaker 2: I don't I don't remember what it was, some magic.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Something whatever, And this guy went to a game stop
- 5:06Speaker 3: and he bought one and it was old, had like
- 5:08Speaker 3: dust on or whatever. He wasn't think of anything of it,
- 5:10Speaker 3: and it had like this scratch off card. He's like, oh,
- 5:13Speaker 3: that looks kind of cool, and like put it up
- 5:14Speaker 3: for like six seven months and he's like, I don't
- 5:16Speaker 3: know what's on that, and he goes and he scratches.
- 5:19Speaker 2: It off and it was one bitcoin.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Oh I saw that one bitcoin, which is worth six figures.
- 5:28Speaker 3: And so from this like random because.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I'm sure like at the scratch it yeah, whenever, it
- 5:33Speaker 2: was all the way down. He's like, they do it
- 5:35Speaker 2: in there.
- 5:36Speaker 3: There's only like six of them in all these boxes
- 5:38Speaker 3: across the world. And he just like, I don't scratch
- 5:40Speaker 3: it off where was that from like what was the
- 5:42Speaker 3: year on it?
- 5:44Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
- 5:45Speaker 5: I mean it had to have been from like.
- 5:48Speaker 3: So I just yeah, probably so, but I just saw it.
- 5:51Speaker 3: And so that's that's a pretty good surprise.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Yeah, it's pretty pretty big deal.
- 5:55Speaker 7: So TA sorry I'm reading about this. Bobby Bonia Otani's
- 5:58Speaker 7: will be sixty eight million per year starting in twenty
- 6:02Speaker 7: thirty four. That ain't bad.
- 6:05Speaker 3: It's a little bit better than the one million a little.
- 6:10Speaker 6: Mani Ramier is.
- 6:11Speaker 7: It's still collecting twenty well total, it's gonna end up
- 6:15Speaker 7: being twenty four point two million until twenty twenty six
- 6:18Speaker 7: from the Red Sox.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Do we think that is smart? I think it rather
- 6:25Speaker 2: all of it up front, I think I think it's
- 6:27Speaker 2: both part.
- 6:28Speaker 4: I think it's smart for the team and the player
- 6:30Speaker 4: because I mean, think about it, Think about how much
- 6:32Speaker 4: of money these teams make. They don't care that they
- 6:33Speaker 4: have to pay Bobby Mania one point one million a year.
- 6:36Speaker 4: They don't care. That's nothing to them. And then Benia
- 6:38Speaker 4: gets to Chili can sit on the couch if he wants,
- 6:41Speaker 4: say July first, one point one in or something, make account.
- 6:44Speaker 4: I actually think it works for both sides.
- 6:45Speaker 6: Just in time for Fourth of July, right, vacation.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you can.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Getting a grill of every year for Blackstone every year
- 6:55Speaker 3: every year.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I don't even really need to clean it and get
- 6:59Speaker 2: a new one July first, right.
- 7:01Speaker 4: He uses it once a year, every Fourth of July,
- 7:03Speaker 4: and then you just continue it.
- 7:05Speaker 2: What is your rain man brain doing.
- 7:07Speaker 5: I'm trying to say a lot of numbers, I'm telling you, dude.
- 7:12Speaker 5: So I'm looking at this Russell o' king situation. So
- 7:16Speaker 5: in twenty twenty, Russell o' King, who was offensive lineman
- 7:21Speaker 5: for the seats for Seahawks for a long time.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I can't remember where he went at he got trying
- 7:25Speaker 2: to remember the team you played for.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Well, I kind of try to forget it.
- 7:28Speaker 5: A little bite he took, he had he was on
- 7:31Speaker 5: a thirteen million dollar salary. He took half of it
- 7:34Speaker 5: in bitcoin at the time. Okay, so six and a
- 7:36Speaker 5: half million dollars in bitcoin at the time, and this
- 7:41Speaker 5: was twenty twenty, and at the time it was one
- 7:43Speaker 5: bitcoin was twenty seven thousand dollars. Okay, Okay, current valuation
- 7:51Speaker 5: a bitcoin today one hundred and six thousand, seven hundred
- 7:55Speaker 5: and twenty four.
- 7:57Speaker 4: So let's see.
- 7:58Speaker 6: Here quick maths.
- 8:04Speaker 5: That is almost four times, so that six and a
- 8:06Speaker 5: half million is worth twenty six million.
- 8:11Speaker 2: All right, so right now, okay, help me out.
- 8:15Speaker 4: How do you feel about that a laundra?
- 8:16Speaker 2: Well, help me out.
- 8:17Speaker 4: I get six million, I don't know, Like, how does
- 8:21Speaker 4: he how does he cash.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Out of that?
- 8:24Speaker 5: You sell it? A lot of people will.
- 8:27Speaker 7: I'm so so like, I just think I just don't
- 8:30Speaker 7: personally understand it. So it's not something I would ever
- 8:33Speaker 7: venture out in.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Yeah, well yeah, most crypto. Yeah, you're absolutely right. You
- 8:39Speaker 5: just don't do it because you see all these like
- 8:41Speaker 5: pump and dumps, you see all these coin the coin now.
- 8:46Speaker 4: We know we we could have invested into that.
- 8:48Speaker 5: That one would have worked a lot of listeners out here.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Can I remember about the game coin?
- 8:53Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Uh, but bitcoin is an actual money, pretty tangible situation
- 9:02Speaker 5: these days. But like Russell Oaking signed that deal his
- 9:07Speaker 5: six and a half million that he got in bitcoin
- 9:09Speaker 5: in twenty twenty, now we're twenty six million plus the
- 9:12Speaker 5: third the other six and a half million. So he
- 9:14Speaker 5: played for thirty three million as an offensive lineman at
- 9:16Speaker 5: twenty twenty, in the twilight of his career.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty decent.
- 9:20Speaker 2: It was. That's a great point.
- 9:21Speaker 3: It was at the end of his career, like he
- 9:22Speaker 3: was signing like one more final deal.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Yeah, and I want to say maybe maybe Odell did
- 9:28Speaker 5: a situation like that. There's been other players that have
- 9:30Speaker 5: now since then. I think Russell was the icebreaker that
- 9:34Speaker 5: have negotiated that into their contract and has been a
- 9:38Speaker 5: pretty big benefit.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Well then, man, I mean I'm with you, but I'm
- 9:44Speaker 2: also with the laundro Like.
- 9:46Speaker 5: I try to negotiate it here, Guarantee, did.
- 9:48Speaker 7: You Yeah, no way, no, okay. I feel like it
- 9:52Speaker 7: is something you would do. So it just like I
- 9:54Speaker 7: kind of believed you person.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Went in there.
- 9:57Speaker 5: Fourth of a bitcoin?
- 9:58Speaker 4: Please.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I like money.
- 10:00Speaker 3: I have a little I keep it on my jar
- 10:02Speaker 3: on top of my refrigerator.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I'd like to add more to that jar. And that's
- 10:07Speaker 2: where you come in.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that was his negotiating deals with Guaranteed Media.
- 10:15Speaker 5: So how about one sixty fourth a bitcoin?
- 10:18Speaker 4: Please?
- 10:21Speaker 2: There's so many things I want to say that on
- 10:23Speaker 2: a big check?
- 10:24Speaker 5: Please? What are the big ones?
- 10:26Speaker 2: That guy got one?
- 10:27Speaker 5: That guy got one? There you go, thank you?
- 10:31Speaker 2: All right?
- 10:32Speaker 4: Man.

- 12:43Speaker 2: love it right now? Got them as much as you should.
- 12:48Speaker 4: I mean, it's it's a toe tapper.
- 12:52Speaker 2: It's way more than toe tapper.
- 12:53Speaker 5: I mean, did you see me? I was dancing like
- 12:55Speaker 5: full body dancing over here. I do that a lot, though,
- 12:58Speaker 5: especially when I'm coffee. I mean, it's not my favorite
- 13:05Speaker 5: country song of all time.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I mean nobody's perfect.
- 13:08Speaker 5: I'm actually don't know if I've ever heard this song.
- 13:11Speaker 5: You've heard this, I mean, I'm probably Mark chest not
- 13:14Speaker 5: that you think I've heard the song right, probably.
- 13:23Speaker 6: Every textan.
- 13:27Speaker 5: I mean, I feel like it's seared into the core
- 13:30Speaker 5: of my nostalgia somewhere because it's tickling something. I just
- 13:34Speaker 5: couldn't tell you the next word on any pro.
- 13:36Speaker 4: In Tyler, Texas, there's no way to get into a bar.
- 13:39Speaker 4: You didn't have to recite the lyrics of this song.
- 13:43Speaker 5: Well, look, I left Texas at seventeen. Uh. Smith County
- 13:49Speaker 5: where I grew up was a dry county, famously wettest
- 13:52Speaker 5: dry county in the state. But to go anywhere you
- 13:56Speaker 5: had to, like it was a dry county, so like
- 13:58Speaker 5: to go anywhere like that was a bar for adults
- 14:01Speaker 5: I did. I mean I was seventeen, so like you
- 14:03Speaker 5: had to you know, like become an air quote like
- 14:05Speaker 5: member of that restaurant or bar to like get out
- 14:08Speaker 5: all and stuff like that.
- 14:09Speaker 6: That's crazy.
- 14:10Speaker 5: Every like county Line was chopped full of like these
- 14:13Speaker 5: big ass liquor stores, so everyone would go to the County
- 14:16Speaker 5: Line and be a.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Member, and it had a bootleg alcohol.
- 14:20Speaker 5: Yeah, well I didn't. Oh yeah, they absolutely did. Just
- 14:26Speaker 5: it wasn't bootleg that everybody knew it was up, but
- 14:29Speaker 5: it was dry. I guess not dry anymore, but it
- 14:31Speaker 5: was dry County forever even like I'm probably like to
- 14:34Speaker 5: the twenty tens because you know, in Tyler Smith County,
- 14:38Speaker 5: big liquor was pumping that money into into the county
- 14:43Speaker 5: legislation to keep big liquors in there. And uh yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 5: they kept pumping money to keep it dry. Uh what
- 14:54Speaker 5: are you all laughing at?
- 14:55Speaker 7: Uh?
- 14:55Speaker 2: You big liquor, big, like a.
- 14:59Speaker 5: Big They cornered the market, the market every state highway
- 15:04Speaker 5: leaving Tyler, Texas.
- 15:06Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like you had like old policemen
- 15:08Speaker 3: like sitting outside their car with these great mustaches, and
- 15:11Speaker 3: if you tried to bring liquor into Tyler, Texas, you
- 15:15Speaker 3: were getting arrested.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Like you could have it, Like it wasn't like going
- 15:21Speaker 5: into airport you got to pour your bottles out when
- 15:23Speaker 5: you get into You just couldn't purchase it there. They
- 15:26Speaker 5: couldn't sell it. And they could sell it to you
- 15:29Speaker 5: at a at a restaurant, at a bar, but you
- 15:31Speaker 5: had to become a member so you could you could.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Buy it somewhere else and you'd have to drive it over.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Like you could. You could possess it.
- 15:39Speaker 4: What what is that smoking? The bandit?
- 15:41Speaker 5: Yeah right? I thought you're gonna talk about footot. They
- 15:44Speaker 5: couldn't even dance.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Could you dance?
- 15:48Speaker 4: We could?
- 15:49Speaker 5: We can dance.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Dancing county kid.
- 15:52Speaker 5: Let's see fat dogs, liquor store, tease, liquor store. I
- 15:57Speaker 5: can't remember what else? Fat dogs, bat dogs. Good customer
- 16:02Speaker 5: service to I remember.

- 17:00Speaker 3: So we are going to head to SEC media days.
- 17:04Speaker 3: In fact, we will be there, credentials and everything in
- 17:08Speaker 3: less than two weeks. Maybe not real ideas, but credentials.
- 17:13Speaker 2: We'll see. There's no chance we can get that. Shut
- 17:16Speaker 2: your mouth.
- 17:17Speaker 6: You are going to have to road trip it.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Shut your mouth.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Do we have any update?
- 17:22Speaker 5: I'll go with you.
- 17:22Speaker 2: We can rent a car if we don't have a
- 17:24Speaker 2: great update. Not yet. Yes, other things I had to do.
- 17:28Speaker 5: I got home yesterday, lay said. Lacey said, he's got
- 17:32Speaker 5: no shot. Really because she she was listening to the show.
- 17:36Speaker 5: She knows the time window we're dealing with.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Oh yeh weeks, Oh ye, have little faith.
- 17:41Speaker 4: I think you're gonna do it. No prole mean T
- 17:43Speaker 4: Bob got it done, got it done in two days.
- 17:46Speaker 4: And it's Bob. He probably forgot the first day.
- 17:48Speaker 2: We're talking about the window. You got the time window? Yeah,
- 17:51Speaker 2: T Bop was flying to Chicago. It's not about days,
- 17:55Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying though.
- 17:56Speaker 3: T Bob was flying to Chicago two days from when
- 17:58Speaker 3: he said it and got it done well.
- 18:00Speaker 5: If they printed out right there. Yeah, I'm like you
- 18:02Speaker 5: could do it. I'm just saying your time window that
- 18:04Speaker 5: you have it, you have like two hours, right, but
- 18:09Speaker 5: good luck, thank you.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I'll get it done. I'll do that.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I'll do off campus from the OMB. I'd be sick
- 18:15Speaker 3: just skype in. People still say skype. I still think
- 18:20Speaker 3: you can. Actually it doesn't feel like it.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Uh.
- 18:23Speaker 3: You know, like when we go to media days that
- 18:27Speaker 3: you have to fill out like predictions and where everyone's
- 18:32Speaker 3: going to finish in the league. Oh yeah, I got
- 18:34Speaker 3: it and Player of the Year, first team offense, second
- 18:39Speaker 3: team offense, Coach.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Of the year.
- 18:43Speaker 6: You get it wrong, Paul fine bomb puts you on
- 18:46Speaker 6: blast on TV.
- 18:47Speaker 4: I'll put on Paul's never got anything wrong. So I'll
- 18:50Speaker 4: put Paul on blast right here.
- 18:51Speaker 3: And it is like it is something we can go
- 18:53Speaker 3: back and like, let's see what Matt Flinn said in
- 18:56Speaker 3: the preseason who he put on his first team nuts.
- 18:59Speaker 4: It looked it pissed me off. Yesterday a list came
- 19:06Speaker 4: out and it was like, you're Nose Myers second team
- 19:09Speaker 4: all Lee see and I'm like, okay, no problem. Somebody
- 19:11Speaker 4: went with Lenora Sellers like whatever it was.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Arch Manning.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Hadn't played.
- 19:18Speaker 2: He threw real nice spirals at the Manning Passing Academy.
- 19:21Speaker 4: He did play two games last year. So there's there's that.
- 19:26Speaker 5: I'm excited about it, Like I'm looking forward the media day,
- 19:31Speaker 5: chopping it up with some other media folks.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Uh heard some of the net that's going to be
- 19:36Speaker 2: at the water cooler leaned up.
- 19:39Speaker 6: Jeff right.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Yeah, Jeff Levey. You ever heard of him?
- 19:42Speaker 3: Uh?
- 19:44Speaker 2: Yeah, all right.
- 19:45Speaker 5: So when it comes to like traditional.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Hey, what's up of this Jeff Levy go, what's his deal?
- 19:52Speaker 5: What's his deal? I'm just like reciting Wikipedia facts from them.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Did you know he was born to him? Yeah, that's
- 20:02Speaker 5: kind of what I did for you know, I'm profiling
- 20:05Speaker 5: Kate Clubdick for tomorrow. Oh yeah right, you are started
- 20:08Speaker 5: with Wikipedia. Yeah, you sent us your research and it
- 20:12Speaker 5: was this Wikipedia page. I'm just gonna I'm just gonna
- 20:15Speaker 5: sit here like a robot and just read the whole
- 20:17Speaker 5: Wikipedia page.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Oh, that'd be a great segment. And then football, yep,
- 20:22Speaker 2: I can't wait till that happens. Us being the morning
- 20:25Speaker 2: show at media Days.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Yeah, we only get a certain amount of teams, like
- 20:31Speaker 3: a lot of the afternoon shows will go down there
- 20:32Speaker 3: that will actually record when everybody's down there, and then
- 20:36Speaker 3: they can get it and they can play it back.
- 20:38Speaker 3: So we'll get all of ours like live and they'll
- 20:40Speaker 3: sit down like right then, so and you really won't
- 20:43Speaker 3: know who it is. It gonna be a little bit,
- 20:45Speaker 3: you know, of a of a guessing game.
- 20:46Speaker 5: So tell me a little bit about like remember what
- 20:49Speaker 5: to expect though, like throughout the day, so we we
- 20:53Speaker 5: do our show, we interview as many coaches as possible,
- 20:56Speaker 5: players as possible. Now do we kind of hang around
- 20:59Speaker 5: the rest of the day and get like recordings you can?
- 21:02Speaker 5: We can, Yes, you for sure can do that. Usually
- 21:07Speaker 5: Rivers is there and you be like, hey, we want
- 21:10Speaker 5: to record with this person.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Now.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Moscona likes to come sit down as well, so you'll
- 21:15Speaker 3: have to tell him, hey, guy, we got into at
- 21:17Speaker 3: least like noon, then you can take over.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I actually have to go do another job.
- 21:23Speaker 3: So my other shows for four hours, I think it's
- 21:26Speaker 3: from noon to four every day, So I'm leaving it
- 21:30Speaker 3: with you, sir, because I only have an hour in
- 21:33Speaker 3: between shows. So you're going to be recording with any
- 21:37Speaker 3: player or coaches down there, totally. Absolutely, it's gonna be electric.
- 21:42Speaker 3: I can't wait for you because it happens so quick
- 21:46Speaker 3: and they're like the handler will come in, they'll be
- 21:48Speaker 3: like it's that's why it sounds like they're like they're talking,
- 21:51Speaker 3: You're like what who And they're just gonna sit them
- 21:54Speaker 3: down by by you.
- 21:57Speaker 2: And you're gonna have to figure out who it is.
- 22:00Speaker 5: How many interviews I am?
- 22:02Speaker 4: So I'm so excited for this, Like you're gonna be
- 22:04Speaker 4: the guy to be Like, so she grew up in Greenville?
- 22:07Speaker 4: Was that Likeville? That was high school? What was your
- 22:10Speaker 4: g p A?
- 22:11Speaker 7: Because remember, like Bob got somebody's name wrong, it's senior ball.
- 22:16Speaker 4: One time it was Lots. Thought it was Cameron lot
- 22:20Speaker 4: To the tight end who had graduated the year before.
- 22:22Speaker 6: Yeah, so make sure that doesn't happen.
- 22:25Speaker 5: And well he didn't mispronounce it, he just said the wrong,
- 22:29Speaker 5: Like I can understand you.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Get tight end from Alabama, d N from U c
- 22:33Speaker 4: L A very similar sure, and the poor kid.
- 22:35Speaker 5: Just went with it. Yeah, that kind of sounds like
- 22:38Speaker 5: a mistake I would make because he was like, what
- 22:41Speaker 5: do you do it?
- 22:41Speaker 4: Like you were here last year, right, like all this
- 22:43Speaker 4: and like this.
- 22:44Speaker 3: I just remember the whole time, like trying to get
- 22:47Speaker 3: t Bob's attention, like getting him like the big eyes
- 22:49Speaker 3: and being like what are you talking about?
- 22:52Speaker 2: Like he never and then you know, he like he
- 22:55Speaker 2: feels so bad when you do something like that.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Even I was like we have and I'm like why,
- 23:02Speaker 4: I'm like, all right, let me put up the lower third.
- 23:05Speaker 4: I'll put up the lower third of Cameron Latu. Then
- 23:07Speaker 4: I hear y'all talk, I'm like that that's a different Yet.
- 23:11Speaker 5: I do want to when we get a chance to
- 23:13Speaker 5: talk to players at SEC media Day. I told you
- 23:17Speaker 5: this a couple of weeks ago, Like I want to
- 23:20Speaker 5: just like feel out. We know all these kids are young,
- 23:23Speaker 5: and we know they were born like early two thousands.
- 23:25Speaker 5: I want to ask them what high school did Jonathan
- 23:29Speaker 5: Moxham play for, and just see if anybody knows.
- 23:32Speaker 2: That's going to be question.
- 23:35Speaker 4: I want to know if anybody has ever heard of
- 23:38Speaker 4: or seen.
- 23:40Speaker 2: We should we should be getting the list of who's
- 23:42Speaker 2: going here pretty soon. Again, I'm going to be into this.
- 23:45Speaker 3: We beginning to probably show like it's we're less than
- 23:47Speaker 3: two weeks away.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I am going to say, of.
- 23:50Speaker 3: All the people there, the only two people I think
- 23:57Speaker 3: that have a real chance would be two l s
- 24:00Speaker 3: U guys.
- 24:01Speaker 4: No Smyer from Smyer from.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Texas and then what weeks because he's country with a K. Yeah,
- 24:08Speaker 3: I feel like he's seen varsity.
- 24:10Speaker 5: I would think, yes, yeah, bluses, probably it's gotta be
- 24:20Speaker 5: I would. I would hope.
- 24:23Speaker 4: So we'll see.
- 24:24Speaker 2: I think he gave miss Davis at tim Nope, there
- 24:30Speaker 2: you go.
- 24:31Speaker 3: All right, we will step away and when we come back.

- 25:36Speaker 5: boutroxelectrical dot com.

- 26:10Speaker 8: like I'm learning the hardway again. It's all my five. Yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 8: I dropped up.
- 26:16Speaker 2: All right, welcome back.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Yeah in OTV one O four five, ESPN Beton Rouge.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Always a pleasure to catch up with our next guest.
- 26:23Speaker 3: It is our guy, Bill Bender of the Sporting News
- 26:26Speaker 3: at Bill Bender ninety two is the.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Hand looking my follow up on social media? Bill, how
- 26:30Speaker 2: you doing this morning?
- 26:32Speaker 9: I'm doing well. Thanks for having me on.
- 26:35Speaker 2: All right, Bill?
- 26:35Speaker 3: So I want to kind of go around every conference
- 26:40Speaker 3: today and hit the big ten and ACC and SEC
- 26:43Speaker 3: and really do it like a little bit of a
- 26:44Speaker 3: deep dive into all these conferences, and so as we
- 26:48Speaker 3: prepare for the Big Ten football season, I was curious because,
- 26:52Speaker 3: like for SEC media Day, I think one of the
- 26:54Speaker 3: narratives for me is going to be about how the
- 26:57Speaker 3: teams that are typically at the top, they don't have
- 26:59Speaker 3: a returning quarterback. The teams that are trying to punch
- 27:01Speaker 3: up they do have a returning quarterback. But for the
- 27:04Speaker 3: Big Ten, as you get ready for media days, what
- 27:07Speaker 3: would you say, because last year it was Ryan Day,
- 27:10Speaker 3: Ohio State?
- 27:11Speaker 2: Can they win the Big One?
- 27:12Speaker 3: What is going to be in your opinion maybe some
- 27:14Speaker 3: of the main storylines heading into Big Ten media Day?
- 27:18Speaker 9: Well, I mean, obviously Ohio State coming off national title
- 27:21Speaker 9: with Jeremiah Smith and Caleb Downs are going to be
- 27:24Speaker 9: their attendees. Those are arguably the two best players in
- 27:27Speaker 9: college football. I think the lead story though, might be
- 27:34Speaker 9: in State do this now? Is it their turn?
- 27:36Speaker 4: You know?
- 27:37Speaker 9: Ohio State one one, Michigan won one. Michigan will probably
- 27:41Speaker 9: get some questions about whatever the NCAA decides about the
- 27:44Speaker 9: Connor Stallions case, but I think it really revolves around
- 27:47Speaker 9: those three and then no Oregon USC year two in
- 27:51Speaker 9: this eighteen team monster of a conference, But I do
- 27:55Speaker 9: think Penn State can they do it. They haven't won
- 27:57Speaker 9: one since eighty six, and they've got everybody back, and
- 28:01Speaker 9: James Franklin I talked, we've talked, We've talked a lot
- 28:03Speaker 9: about him this summer. What is a successful season for them?
- 28:08Speaker 9: Coming off of semi final appearance for them?
- 28:11Speaker 3: I mean going to the semi finals and having that
- 28:14Speaker 3: run and that game coming down to the very end.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I mean, it was a very successful season, but it
- 28:19Speaker 3: felt like it's still left fans certainly wanting more and
- 28:24Speaker 3: wanting to take that next step because there's been a
- 28:27Speaker 3: lot of good there. I mean, there's been great seasons
- 28:29Speaker 3: in fact, but there hasn't been like that elite championship season.
- 28:33Speaker 3: And they do have a lot returning. But how the
- 28:37Speaker 3: world are they going to replace a unicorn like Tyler Warren?
- 28:41Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean that's that's one question. Who's catching the
- 28:44Speaker 9: football from Drew Aller, a three year starter. Who they've
- 28:48Speaker 9: got the running backs? Nick Signalton k Tron Allen, you know,
- 28:51Speaker 9: on the other side of the ball. Who replaces the
- 28:54Speaker 9: other unicorn? And that Bull Carter? You know, I don't
- 28:57Speaker 9: know if he's a unicorn, but you get what I
- 28:59Speaker 9: get at, Like that pass rush for still was the
- 29:01Speaker 9: top five pick, so they did lose their top two players.
- 29:05Speaker 9: And there's two stats that I throw out with Penn State.
- 29:08Speaker 9: Over the last three years now Franklin hasn't lost to
- 29:13Speaker 9: an unranked opponent, takes their business there, five and eight
- 29:17Speaker 9: against ranked opponents. Now, haven't beat Ohio State since twenty sixteen.
- 29:22Speaker 9: And that's the game right there. And they can they
- 29:25Speaker 9: beat Ohio State and Columbus and I think if they can,
- 29:29Speaker 9: then you know, they may have to see him again later.
- 29:31Speaker 9: But I mean, that's the game. They've been close so
- 29:34Speaker 9: many times. Bobby Carpenter and know Jake, we talked to
- 29:37Speaker 9: them all the time. They'll tell you. I mean, over
- 29:39Speaker 9: the last fifteen years, you could make a strong argument
- 29:42Speaker 9: that Penn State, year in and year out, with the
- 29:45Speaker 9: exception of the last four has been the stiffer competition
- 29:49Speaker 9: or for Ohio State and Michigan.
- 29:52Speaker 5: Bill, what's up man? This is matth Flen. Pleasure to
- 29:55Speaker 5: pleasure to talk to me. It's our first time, so
- 29:57Speaker 5: pleasure to have you on the show. We appreciate the time.
- 30:00Speaker 5: And stick kind of stick with Bobby Carper. We have
- 30:02Speaker 5: Bobby Carper on the show last week. So I want
- 30:05Speaker 5: to ask you about Ohio State. I mean, obviously, coming
- 30:07Speaker 5: off a championship, huge expectations, one of the top programs
- 30:11Speaker 5: each each and every year going into the season outlook
- 30:15Speaker 5: on it. What is if you're an Ohio State fan
- 30:18Speaker 5: and we are a week after the season's over, what
- 30:21Speaker 5: to them? Are they going to sit back and say,
- 30:24Speaker 5: all right, that was a successful season. What does Ohio
- 30:26Speaker 5: State have to do for the fan base to say, yep,
- 30:29Speaker 5: that was a good season.
- 30:31Speaker 9: Beat Michigan, Bobby, they have to beat Michigan this year.
- 30:35Speaker 9: I mean, they won the national title, but there were
- 30:39Speaker 9: you know, and Bobby will pray tell you the same thing,
- 30:41Speaker 9: you know, discussions. I was coaching my daughter's basketball team
- 30:45Speaker 9: in the Winner last year, and you know, you'd have
- 30:47Speaker 9: the dads and I would pull them and say, hey,
- 30:50Speaker 9: would you rather beat Michigan or win the whole thing?
- 30:53Speaker 9: And this was after they lost, and half of them
- 30:56Speaker 9: will stay beat Michigan first. It's that's why that rivalry
- 31:00Speaker 9: different than everybody else. It's not like that, trust me,
- 31:04Speaker 9: and Bobby will tell you the same thing. It's just
- 31:06Speaker 9: that's the priority. So playing the significance of the national championship.
- 31:12Speaker 9: Though that was huge for Ryan Day. I think it
- 31:14Speaker 9: takes a lot of pressure off him, takes the pressure
- 31:16Speaker 9: of that Michigan lost off. But at the same time,
- 31:19Speaker 9: this year, if they go eleven to zero and then
- 31:23Speaker 9: they go up Dan Arbor and stub their toe, that's
- 31:27Speaker 9: gonna all rush back. And that's what makes college football
- 31:29Speaker 9: so fun is that you have a team trying to
- 31:33Speaker 9: think for you guys sake, Like, you know, you win
- 31:36Speaker 9: a national championship, but you lose to Alabama along the way,
- 31:40Speaker 9: I mean, you're gonna take the national title.
- 31:44Speaker 4: You know.
- 31:44Speaker 9: I've watched Alabama win a national title after losing to Auburn,
- 31:48Speaker 9: so it can happen, right.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Yeah, Alabama's won a couple of national titles without winning
- 31:53Speaker 3: their division in the SEC. That is something they've gotten
- 31:56Speaker 3: done a couple of different times. Bill, what about because
- 32:00Speaker 3: I agree like Penn State, Ohio State, I think those
- 32:02Speaker 3: teams are certainly going to be in the conversation. The
- 32:05Speaker 3: Oregon Ducks are going to be in the conversation. But
- 32:08Speaker 3: who's the chaos agent in the Big Ten? Who's the
- 32:11Speaker 3: team that maybe they're not going to be good enough
- 32:13Speaker 3: to be top end talented enough to go win the
- 32:16Speaker 3: Big Ten, but they could really mess things up for
- 32:19Speaker 3: a lot of the top teams.
- 32:21Speaker 9: Well, we've talked a lot about Illinois, but they're ranked
- 32:24Speaker 9: in the top ten in pre season pools. So I
- 32:26Speaker 9: don't think we can call a top ten team a
- 32:28Speaker 9: chaos agent. I just think they're really interesting with what
- 32:32Speaker 9: Brett Bielama has coming back. You know, Indian what does
- 32:36Speaker 9: Indiana do this year? That's kind of my question. They
- 32:38Speaker 9: could be again. I mean, that would probably be my answer,
- 32:41Speaker 9: because Kurt Signetti wins. His record's phenomenal between James Madison
- 32:48Speaker 9: in Indiana if you really think about it, I was like,
- 32:51Speaker 9: he's had James Madison in the playoff hunt and he
- 32:53Speaker 9: got Indiana to the playoff. They bring in Fernando Mendoza,
- 32:57Speaker 9: they have good pieces coming back on defense than the
- 33:00Speaker 9: Angelo Ponds and Kamara who had ten and a half
- 33:04Speaker 9: sacks last season, and their schedules tougher this year, so
- 33:08Speaker 9: you know, maybe they pick off Penn State, maybe they
- 33:10Speaker 9: pick off Oregon. I don't think they're going to go
- 33:12Speaker 9: eleven and one again. They're going to be in the mix,
- 33:15Speaker 9: and it's not just going to go back to three
- 33:17Speaker 9: and nine Indiana.
- 33:21Speaker 5: All Right, Belle, I want to ask you something about
- 33:24Speaker 5: just kind of a look around the country and and
- 33:26Speaker 5: something specifically that LSU fans definitely are interested in because
- 33:30Speaker 5: we have a horse in this race. But the Heisman
- 33:32Speaker 5: Trophy odds going into the twenty twenty five season, I mean,
- 33:36Speaker 5: we've got a long list. Arch Manning, Garrett, that's my
- 33:39Speaker 5: kid club, Nick, Julian Say and drew out Julia Lar.
- 33:41Speaker 5: I mean, there's a there's a list of great players
- 33:45Speaker 5: that have been great. Arch Manning's up there, the guy
- 33:47Speaker 5: that's you know, played in a couple of games and
- 33:48Speaker 5: he's for whatever. Vegas has him at plus seven hundred
- 33:51Speaker 5: and now the highest odds. But tell me what you
- 33:54Speaker 5: think about the players? What do you think about I
- 33:57Speaker 5: guess the the as good as you can get on
- 33:59Speaker 5: these preseason Heisman rankings.
- 34:02Speaker 9: Yeah, it's wide open this year because there's so many
- 34:06Speaker 9: new quarterbacks, including arch and Julian Saying or whoever starts
- 34:10Speaker 9: at Ohio State and CJ. Parr at Notre Dame. And
- 34:15Speaker 9: then you know, the SEC is the interesting one to
- 34:18Speaker 9: me because which quarterback really takes off? Is it Garrett
- 34:22Speaker 9: not Smeier?
- 34:23Speaker 4: Is it a couple.
- 34:24Speaker 9: Popular ones, DJ Lagway, Leonora Sellars. You know, if South
- 34:29Speaker 9: Carolina or Florida makes the PLAYFF run, it'll probably because
- 34:32Speaker 9: those guys had a huge season.
- 34:34Speaker 4: Is it?
- 34:34Speaker 8: Uh?
- 34:35Speaker 9: You know Arch at Texas, does he just take off
- 34:38Speaker 9: right away? It's really gonna be hard to contain the
- 34:42Speaker 9: hype on Arch if he comes up here to Ohio
- 34:45Speaker 9: and has a really good game in Ohio Stadium here
- 34:48Speaker 9: in a couple of months. So I think it's always
- 34:51Speaker 9: still a quarterback award, and I don't have this feel
- 34:55Speaker 9: of like last year we had Travis Hunner, we had
- 34:58Speaker 9: Ashton Gent and they were just freaky. So you know,
- 35:02Speaker 9: if you're asking me who I think the best player
- 35:03Speaker 9: in college football is, I'm going to say Jeremiah Smith.
- 35:07Speaker 9: But can he put up the numbers sharing with Carnell
- 35:12Speaker 9: Tate and sharing with others that allow him to get
- 35:15Speaker 9: the Heisman? Marvin Harrison was close, Jackson Smith and Jigbo
- 35:19Speaker 9: was close. But Ohio State has so many darn good
- 35:22Speaker 9: receivers that you know, you wonder if Jeremiah Smith web
- 35:26Speaker 9: the number is necessary to do it well.
- 35:29Speaker 3: I do want to ask you an sec question, certainly
- 35:31Speaker 3: since we have you here we're in SEC country as
- 35:34Speaker 3: we get ready to head to Mediated's in less than
- 35:36Speaker 3: two weeks. Kind of what are your preseason thoughts because
- 35:39Speaker 3: I mentioned it like Georgia and we don't know about
- 35:42Speaker 3: them at quarterback Alabama, we don't know about them at
- 35:44Speaker 3: quarterback Tennessee, Ole Miss some of the teams that have
- 35:46Speaker 3: won a lot of games over the last couple of
- 35:48Speaker 3: years in the SEC.
- 35:49Speaker 2: The teams that we feel like we know at quarterback, LSU,
- 35:52Speaker 2: South Carolina, Florida, even Vanderbilt.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Right they're trying to punch up. They're trying to get
- 35:56Speaker 3: to a college football playoff situation. But were you when
- 36:00Speaker 3: you look at the SEC? Maybe what are some of
- 36:02Speaker 3: your preseason expectations?
- 36:04Speaker 9: Well, my question is is parody good for the conference?
- 36:09Speaker 9: You know, and in general and college football, it's not
- 36:13Speaker 9: because you want to have one or two, you know,
- 36:15Speaker 9: I call them hammers or powerhouses whatever that are just
- 36:19Speaker 9: a little bit better than everybody else. Right now, SEC
- 36:23Speaker 9: in our post spring Top twenty five has ten ranked teams,
- 36:26Speaker 9: and I have the same questions about Georgia. They're in Texas.
- 36:30Speaker 9: Texas lost a lot of players to the NFL. We're
- 36:32Speaker 9: focused on Arch. They lost twelve guys the NFL draft,
- 36:36Speaker 9: including both tackles. Georgia Buctin's there, But do they know
- 36:42Speaker 9: it's hard to say. They're coming off a disappointing season.
- 36:45Speaker 9: They won, they won the SEC championship, but you know,
- 36:49Speaker 9: how do they react to maybe a more friendly schedule?
- 36:51Speaker 9: And then three through ten, it's literally killing the borer
- 36:56Speaker 9: in year two, loaded at receiver lsu in the portal
- 37:01Speaker 9: and Garrett Knustmayer's really good all the way down to
- 37:03Speaker 9: Oklahoma with they brought in John Mattier, who I'm a
- 37:06Speaker 9: huge fan of Jade not so everybody in that three
- 37:11Speaker 9: through ten range to me has chances playoffs and everybody
- 37:15Speaker 9: has a reason to be like, I'm not so sure
- 37:18Speaker 9: about them, and you know, including Tennessee with Nico transferring.
- 37:22Speaker 9: So I just think it's that idea of parody. And
- 37:26Speaker 9: we're still in a twelve team format. So if you
- 37:29Speaker 9: go nine and three in this conference, are you going
- 37:32Speaker 9: to be left out of the playoffs? And that makes
- 37:34Speaker 9: it really hard.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Hey what about one one last one? What about a
- 37:38Speaker 3: team like Missouri? Because Missouri and Eli drinkwoiz. You know,
- 37:42Speaker 3: all they really done is win over the last what
- 37:45Speaker 3: four years, and I realized that they were kind of
- 37:48Speaker 3: in their golden age and they had Luther Burden and
- 37:51Speaker 3: they had Brady Cook and you know, you go back
- 37:54Speaker 3: to Cody Schrader from a couple of years ago, like
- 37:56Speaker 3: they had THEO Wiz. I mean, these guys were there
- 37:58Speaker 3: for a long time, making a lot of plays. Now
- 38:01Speaker 3: that all those players are gone, it feels like literally
- 38:04Speaker 3: nobody is even talking about Missouri. But you look at
- 38:07Speaker 3: their schedule bill and you kind of look at what
- 38:08Speaker 3: they did in the portal. Are we not talking enough
- 38:11Speaker 3: about MISSOO?
- 38:12Speaker 9: Probably not. I mean, I think they definitely have enough
- 38:17Speaker 9: talent coming back. I think losing the quarterback and you
- 38:19Speaker 9: know they're going to the portal there and you know
- 38:22Speaker 9: they do have defense a lost Burden as well. But
- 38:25Speaker 9: he's done a good job recruiting. He's maximizing what he
- 38:29Speaker 9: has at Missouri. They're another team, though. I think the
- 38:32Speaker 9: problem is their non conference schedules really weak for the
- 38:34Speaker 9: second straight season, so it's easy to dismiss them, which
- 38:38Speaker 9: we did immediately after Texas A and M beat them
- 38:42Speaker 9: last year. Yeah, So I think that's the fight for
- 38:45Speaker 9: respect that Eli continues to fight, and he does get
- 38:50Speaker 9: under some you know, fans and coaches skin sometimes because
- 38:54Speaker 9: you know what he's good for us in the media.
- 38:56Speaker 9: We love quotable coaches. But you know, sometimes he makes
- 38:59Speaker 9: others angry.
- 39:01Speaker 3: All right, there he is Bill Bender of the Sporting
- 39:03Speaker 3: News at Bill Bender ninety two is the handle give

- 39:17Speaker 2: I want to have a little bit of a Big
- 39:19Speaker 2: Ten discussion as we like.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Look, Bill's Big Ten, We've got Connifer SCC, We've got
- 39:24Speaker 3: Roddy for acc coming up later in the show.
- 39:27Speaker 2: The Big Ten.
- 39:28Speaker 3: To me, it does feel like it is top heavy,
- 39:31Speaker 3: but Penn State, you can't go into a semi final
- 39:35Speaker 3: game and not complete a pass to a receiver, not
- 39:39Speaker 3: really add any game changers at receiver and make me
- 39:42Speaker 3: think that it's going to be any different. So we'll
- 39:45Speaker 3: break down some of the Big Ten when we come
- 39:47Speaker 3: back as we head towards college football season.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Here on O TV.

- 41:30Speaker 5: It took me till I was probably like twenty two
- 41:32Speaker 5: to realize he wasn't saying dust on the bottom turned
- 41:38Speaker 5: up real quick. I think it sounds like it, I
- 41:45Speaker 5: can see.
- 41:46Speaker 3: I mean it's im I didn't never think that because
- 41:51Speaker 3: if you listen to the next line, well I don't.
- 41:54Speaker 4: I'm all about the hips, I'm all about the beat
- 41:57Speaker 4: drop not important, not important.
- 42:01Speaker 5: I mean when you're growing up, I mean, lyrics are
- 42:05Speaker 5: not important at all. Like you're a kid and you're
- 42:07Speaker 5: probably singing like all this crazy nonsense about things kids
- 42:11Speaker 5: shouldn't be singing about, but you have no idea what
- 42:12Speaker 5: it means, just singing that's on the bottom.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess, you know, like when you're singing voice
- 42:18Speaker 3: men like you're not Yeah, you don't know what you're
- 42:19Speaker 3: really singing.
- 42:20Speaker 6: Yeah, well you're singing Candy Shop by fifty cent.
- 42:24Speaker 5: I don't know what you're back that thing up.
- 42:25Speaker 6: Yeah, I probably shouldn't have been singing it when.
- 42:31Speaker 2: I was probably probably not.
- 42:32Speaker 5: I used to walk the hangover and ruin that song
- 42:35Speaker 5: for me. I did used to walk around my house
- 42:38Speaker 5: in middle school. Girl, you look good back that thing up.
- 42:42Speaker 5: I had no idea what it meant.
- 42:44Speaker 2: There was a jay Z song.
- 42:46Speaker 5: Let's you're talking about truck?
- 42:48Speaker 9: You know?
- 42:48Speaker 2: Do you remember the jay Z? Can I get a
- 42:50Speaker 2: what what?
- 42:50Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 42:52Speaker 2: I told the story for but so I get that
- 42:56Speaker 2: from you know, the ball whatever and coming back, and
- 42:58Speaker 2: it was a catchy tune. Can I get up? And
- 43:02Speaker 2: so like, I'm gonna play it? You know in the house.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I don't think anything. Well, I didn't. I didn't even
- 43:07Speaker 2: know that there was another version of the song, you
- 43:11Speaker 2: know that, And so I was like, can I get well?
- 43:14Speaker 4: So I go in.
- 43:14Speaker 3: I put it on the boom box. That's right, the
- 43:17Speaker 3: boom box, load that puppy on top advisory. Yeah, but
- 43:21Speaker 3: I guess I didn't even you know, you know, you
- 43:23Speaker 3: didn't think about it. And you put that thing on
- 43:26Speaker 3: turn up to eleven.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Can I get it?
- 43:28Speaker 1: F you?
- 43:29Speaker 2: And I was like, oh god, I just knew.
- 43:32Speaker 4: And somebody.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 43:37Speaker 5: We would always have to go get our singles at Walmart.
- 43:41Speaker 5: Because of Walmart, you couldn't sell anything that wasn't advisory.
- 43:45Speaker 5: So you could go there and clean.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Yeah, everything was clean.
- 43:48Speaker 4: They felt comfortable about oh yeah.
- 43:52Speaker 5: But once the old CD Burning Days Heart started, I
- 43:57Speaker 5: don't know what was that freshman in high school? This
- 43:59Speaker 5: is like two thousand, two thousand, two thousand and one.
- 44:02Speaker 5: When people start ripping CDs and putting EMP Three's one.
- 44:07Speaker 5: That's when you get around that parental you're really just
- 44:11Speaker 5: like spreading your wings.
- 44:14Speaker 4: Fine.
- 44:14Speaker 3: Then I had a buddy in high school, I mean,
- 44:16Speaker 3: and we went to a small Christian school, but you know,
- 44:21Speaker 3: he couldn't listen to secular music.
- 44:23Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, whatever, you know, but this man had
- 44:27Speaker 2: to hide his techno CDs.
- 44:29Speaker 5: I'm like, it's because we went to Evangelic high school.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Yes, why do you have to those don't have words?
- 44:36Speaker 2: My guy just beats?
- 44:39Speaker 5: Why we have to hide those devil's music?
- 44:41Speaker 2: Why are we?
- 44:42Speaker 9: What are we?
- 44:45Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 44:46Speaker 7: I'm like to not let me listen to the hip
- 44:49Speaker 7: hop station when I was growing up, So like we yeah,
- 44:54Speaker 7: and so we would get in the car without him
- 44:56Speaker 7: and we'd put it on the hip hop station and
- 44:58Speaker 7: then switch it back country station.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Three for I think I have this right. KMJJ ninety
- 45:05Speaker 3: nine seven was a hip hop station.
- 45:07Speaker 6: Was ninety three point three.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Mine was one of two seven the Blaze, which which
- 45:13Speaker 5: was brand new, like I think when I was in
- 45:14Speaker 5: seventh or eighth grade, the Blaze, and.
- 45:16Speaker 6: We had one O one X that was the alternative station.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Ninety four five The Big Dog played the h The
- 45:24Speaker 2: Big Dog, The Big Dog. It's a good week Dog.
- 45:27Speaker 5: I'm trying to think ours is our like pop station
- 45:30Speaker 5: was one O seven three.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Oh, I'm just blanking on it what it was.
- 45:36Speaker 3: But if you're listening in three four you should be
- 45:39Speaker 3: listening to eleven thirty am the Tiger.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Yeah, nothing else.
- 45:43Speaker 6: And it's the future.
- 45:44Speaker 2: It's true. It is very much the future.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Wait, that's what it's called.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Well, no, it's the afternoon.
- 45:50Speaker 6: Showing Future in Treeport.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, yeah, so it's like a whole like matrix situation. Yeah,
- 45:56Speaker 2: I love it all right.
