- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us. Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. All right, guys.
- 0:11Speaker 2: It feels like we're going on vacation. I know. You
- 0:13Speaker 2: know that morning of getting ready to go on a trip?
- 0:15Speaker 2: That's what today feels like because we are going to
- 0:17Speaker 2: Vegas a little bit later today for the iRadio Music Festival.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Night one is tonight. I'm excited.
- 0:22Speaker 4: We made it.
- 0:23Speaker 2: We did. Let's see. What can I tell you about it?
- 0:28Speaker 2: We're going separately. I do not know when you're going,
- 0:31Speaker 2: but I will see you there.
- 0:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Midday today.
- 0:34Speaker 1: See you there, baby.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Midday.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Okay. BTS is going to be tonight. So just looking
- 0:38Speaker 2: at the lineup.
- 0:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Looking at the lineup for tonight. BTS will be tonight.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Cardi B also. Zara Larson.
- 0:46Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Goo Goo Dolls. Kenny Chesney. You got Weezer.
- 0:49Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I love Weezer. Oh, my gosh.
- 0:51Speaker 4: So does Michael.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Well, and?
- 0:54Speaker 4: And he's going. It's been 10 years since Michael's not
- 0:57Speaker 4: come to a festival. And he's going.
- 0:59Speaker 2: To see Weezer?
- 0:59Speaker 4: He's coming this whole weekend.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01Speaker 2: But for Weezer?
- 1:03Speaker 8: I think that's like the big one for him.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Oh, well, then he and I should get a picture
- 1:07Speaker 2: with Weezer.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh. He would love that.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Yeah, me too.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Tomorrow, it's Benson Boone, Ciara, Lainey Wilson, La Serafem, Major Lazer. Muse,
- 1:24Speaker 2: Snoop Dogg, the Smashing Pumpkins, and Stella Lefty with a
- 1:28Speaker 2: special performance.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Yeah, girl.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Now, in years past, we've used it as an opportunity
- 1:36Speaker 2: to bond as a staff and do some fitness together.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Many years, we ran the strip. Well, I ran the strip.
- 1:43Speaker 2: And Tanya, you showed up once. Yes, I ran it
- 1:46Speaker 2: with you, bro. We jogged the strip. It's so cool
- 1:51Speaker 2: to run the strip because you're running. We go early
- 1:53Speaker 2: enough that people are still out from the night before.
- 1:56Speaker 1: You see all the things.
- 1:59Speaker 2: And once again, you're invited. I am going to do
- 2:01Speaker 2: some training. So you are invited to a session of
- 2:04Speaker 2: mine if you would like.
- 2:06Speaker 4: A session?
- 2:07Speaker 1: Is it boxing? Because I don't know about that.
- 2:09Speaker 2: This is going to be high intensity training. And I'm
- 2:13Speaker 2: going to have a coach. I might be down for that.
- 2:15Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I've got a coach that's going to meet us that's
- 2:17Speaker 2: out there.
- 2:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 2: So if you want to be coached, we could do it. Okay.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Keep me posted.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Well, okay. I will keep you posted for sure. Last
- 2:25Speaker 2: time you didn't show up though.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Depends on the time. I might still be out with Diplo.
- 2:29Speaker 2: It is Saturday morning. Yeah. Diplo gets up and runs
- 2:34Speaker 2: marathons and stuff in the morning.
- 2:36Speaker 4: He didn't that morning.
- 2:37Speaker 9: No.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Well, you guys were out, man. You cranked it out.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 8: We were out.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Three, 4 a.m.
- 2:44Speaker 2: On Friday night. I don't remember what night. Yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Both nights, actually.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I got to show the next day.
- 2:49Speaker 10: You run early on Saturday. I remember I didn't even
- 2:51Speaker 10: go out Friday night and I was like, my alarm
- 2:53Speaker 10: was like, oof.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I like to wake up and do it. I mean,
- 2:58Speaker 2: jogging on the strip is something that's not conventional because
- 3:00Speaker 2: you have to go up escalators, through casinos, down sidewalks.
- 3:03Speaker 10: Yeah, that's like, I don't know if you can do
- 3:05Speaker 10: it this year. I think it's going to be hot
- 3:06Speaker 10: outside in Vegas.
- 3:07Speaker 4: It's going to be like in the 90s.
- 3:09Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Well, then let's work out inside.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Wow.
- 3:14Speaker 2: So we'll be reporting from there. You'll hear everything. And
- 3:17Speaker 2: then you can see it on Disney Plus and Hulu. Temperature?
- 3:20Speaker 7: 92, 94.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Yeah, no.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It will work out inside.
- 3:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 2: She is on stage tonight at our iHeartRadio Music Festival.
- 3:30Speaker 2: So it's also fun for us to get to hang
- 3:32Speaker 2: out over a weekend. We hang out a lot here.
- 3:35Speaker 2: But it's fun to get out of town on a
- 3:36Speaker 2: field trip, too, because we're on a little vacation to
- 3:39Speaker 2: Las Vegas tonight. And Sisney and Tanya, we've gone out
- 3:43Speaker 2: to do a little fun lunch on the Saturday before
- 3:45Speaker 2: the show. But Tanya, is it you that wanted to
- 3:47Speaker 2: go to brunch this year?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah, brunch.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I don't think brunch is a thing anymore.
- 3:52Speaker 4: How is it not a thing?
- 3:53Speaker 2: I think brunch is dead. I think brunch is dying.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Why?
- 3:58Speaker 2: Generation Bella, do you guys brunch?
- 4:01Speaker 7: We do actually. On Fridays, all the sororities have brunch.
- 4:05Speaker 2: You still brunch?
- 4:06Speaker 1: I love brunch.
- 4:07Speaker 7: It's my favorite part of the Friday.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Why do you like brunch?
- 4:10Speaker 7: Because the food's good. I'm with my friends. And then
- 4:13Speaker 7: at least at USC, we have all the pop-ups. So
- 4:16Speaker 7: brands will come and give us free stuff.
- 4:19Speaker 2: When you go to brunch, go ahead.
- 4:21Speaker 7: It's a social setting.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I don't know. I feel like I'm seeing less and
- 4:25Speaker 2: less brunch enthusiasts. When avocado toast can cost $ 12 or $ 13,
- 4:30Speaker 2: that's it. I mean, how can a slice of avocado
- 4:34Speaker 2: and a piece of bread... be $ 15 or $ 20 at
- 4:36Speaker 2: some of these brunches.
- 4:38Speaker 4: I actually think it's more.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Maybe it's $ 20 now, right?
- 4:41Speaker 8: Yeah, I think that I've definitely seen for like $ 18
- 4:44Speaker 8: or $ 20. It's $ 20 at Earth Cafe.
- 4:47Speaker 2: It's $ 20? Avocado toast is $ 20? Yeah, you can.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Get like six avocados for $ 20.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Well, no, but I mean, you could put some good
- 4:55Speaker 1: stuff on there.
- 4:55Speaker 4: But they don't. It's usually just the toast.
- 4:59Speaker 2: It's just like salt and pepper and avocado.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Some sort of meat situation.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I just think, you know, with fewer and fewer people
- 5:06Speaker 2: drinking as much alcohol as they used to.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Oh, that's an interesting angle.
- 5:10Speaker 2: That's part of it. Yeah. Because it used to be
- 5:11Speaker 2: like a hangover spot for Bloody Marys and mimosas.
- 5:14Speaker 7: Right.
- 5:14Speaker 4: I mean, look at the Belmont. It's closing. And that
- 5:15Speaker 4: was like the brunch spot.
- 5:18Speaker 2: But fewer people want to go out and certainly drink
- 5:20Speaker 2: that early.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:22Speaker 2: And they're cutting back.
- 5:23Speaker 4: I mean, I'm still down.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Day drinking actually is my favorite.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Well, so let's break day drinking down for a second.
- 5:31Speaker 2: If I'm going to have, like, if we're going to
- 5:32Speaker 2: go for margaritas... I'd much rather prefer to do it
- 5:35Speaker 2: in the afternoon and stop by six so that sleep
- 5:40Speaker 2: is perfect. It doesn't affect your next day. And so
- 5:43Speaker 2: I get that. But I think that, I don't know,
- 5:47Speaker 2: we can go to brunch if you want and see if,
- 5:49Speaker 2: maybe in Vegas they're not dead because it's buffet brunch everywhere.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and somebody's brunch is someone's dinner.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Well, no, I was reading that some of the chefs
- 5:58Speaker 2: were saying that Brunch is basically all the foods that
- 6:02Speaker 2: the restaurants didn't really use or sell during the week,
- 6:04Speaker 2: and they just throw it all out.
- 6:05Speaker 4: No, they do not.
- 6:06Speaker 2: That's what I read.
- 6:07Speaker 1: It makes sense, though.
- 6:08Speaker 7: How?
- 6:09Speaker 4: I could have, like, spaghetti for brunch.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Well, no, but the extra stuff that they use. There's
- 6:14Speaker 2: a movie coming out, which is the Anthony Bourdain story.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, Tony.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Is it called Tony?
- 6:20Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I want to see that.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I know. So does my husband.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Why do you roll your eyes and sound like that's
- 6:26Speaker 2: a problem? Why is it so negative about it? It
- 6:29Speaker 2: looks like such an interesting movie.
- 6:31Speaker 4: It actually does.
- 6:32Speaker 1: He's just been talking about wanting to see it for
- 6:34Speaker 1: quite some time now.
- 6:34Speaker 2: But why, again, like football, you roll your eyes and
- 6:37Speaker 2: you have a negative tone. He wants to go see
- 6:39Speaker 2: a movie that he wants to go see and you're
- 6:41Speaker 2: not happy.
- 6:41Speaker 1: We're never going to see the movie because football is
- 6:43Speaker 1: now 24-7. It's not 24-7. I'm tired of you.
- 6:46Speaker 8: Nagging us about football.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I'm so excited that it's back. Tell Robbie I'll go
- 6:54Speaker 2: see Tony with him.
- 6:55Speaker 6: I will.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I will. I'll go take a picture with Weezer and
- 6:57Speaker 2: Michael and I'll go see Tony with Robbie. Perfect. Friday,
- 7:01Speaker 2: the 18th of September, IR Radio Music Festival weekend. Today's
- 7:05Speaker 2: National Cheeseburger Day. Sunny skies, highs in the low 80s
- 7:09Speaker 2: and 90s. We are also paying your bills this morning again.
- 7:13Speaker 2: And Tanya has a trending report. Would you rather be
- 7:16Speaker 2: with someone all of the time or only get to
- 7:18Speaker 2: see them a few times a year? Go ahead.
- 7:21Speaker 10: So Dancing with the Stars pro Riley Arnold, she is
- 7:24Speaker 10: opening up about her relationship with boyfriend Walker Lyons. And
- 7:27Speaker 10: she says that the distance is actually making them stronger.
- 7:30Speaker 10: And I found this story very interesting because I think
- 7:33Speaker 10: a lot of people– A lot of people blame distance
- 7:37Speaker 10: for their breakups. When I think in actuality, they just
- 7:40Speaker 10: didn't like the person that much and couldn't make it work.
- 7:42Speaker 10: So Walker plays college football at BYU. And right now
- 7:46Speaker 10: he's hundreds of miles away while Riley is deep into
- 7:50Speaker 10: her Dancing with the Stars season. So they've been together
- 7:52Speaker 10: since 2024. Fun fact, they actually met through an Uber
- 7:55Speaker 10: driver who played matchmaker and connected them on Instagram.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Wait, what? Wow. I love that.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:00Speaker 10: But instead of complaining about it, Riley says that she's
- 8:03Speaker 10: honestly grateful for us. We just FaceTime every single night.
- 8:06Speaker 10: We keep each other updated. She says the distance makes
- 8:09Speaker 10: them their emotional connection so much deeper.
- 8:12Speaker 1: And she's honestly grateful for it.
- 8:14Speaker 4: I agree with that.
- 8:15Speaker 10: I feel like a lot of people, like I was saying,
- 8:17Speaker 10: blame distance for why they broke up. Like, oh, we
- 8:19Speaker 10: just couldn't make the distance work when really I just
- 8:21Speaker 10: don't think it was the right fit.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Because if it is looking for an out.
- 8:24Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Exactly. Yeah, I mean, look, if you really are in
- 8:28Speaker 2: love with the person, you just make concessions to make
- 8:31Speaker 2: it work. But back to the Uber dating, how did
- 8:33Speaker 2: that happen? What happened?
- 8:35Speaker 1: I have to get the story right.
- 8:37Speaker 10: She was talking about it on a podcast, but basically
- 8:40Speaker 10: they both met this Uber driver because he used to
- 8:44Speaker 10: play football for USC.
- 8:45Speaker 7: And....
- 8:48Speaker 10: And somehow the Uber driver connected them and her boyfriend
- 8:53Speaker 10: reached out to her on Instagram. Because I think the
- 8:54Speaker 10: Uber driver told them that they'd be a good match.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I've been in a lot of Ubers. And never has
- 9:00Speaker 2: it occurred to them or to me that that would happen.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Or have they asked me questions about the kind of person?
- 9:06Speaker 8: Or maybe this guy was also a personal driver on
- 9:09Speaker 8: the side.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Literally never happened to me before. But she's super, super cute.
- 9:13Speaker 1: She'd be a great guest for us.
- 9:15Speaker 7: Great.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Great. We're on it. Dancing with the stars. It keeps
- 9:21Speaker 2: getting better and better, too. I love watching it.
- 9:24Speaker 6: All right.
- 9:24Speaker 2: First names that people say you should not date. Red
- 9:27Speaker 2: flag names coming up next. I was looking at this
- 9:30Speaker 2: first names that are red flags. If you're on a
- 9:32Speaker 2: dating app, they say they I guess they ask single
- 9:36Speaker 2: people how they felt about certain first names. And those
- 9:40Speaker 2: people said these are the names that you should not date.
- 9:43Speaker 2: They are red flag names. Now, this is generalizing. But
- 9:46Speaker 2: here's what came in. They say that people with these names,
- 9:51Speaker 2: at times, these names don't have the right intention. Men
- 9:55Speaker 2: to avoid. Anybody named Chase.
- 9:57Speaker 9: Chase.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Chase Stokes.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Well, I think he seems pretty cool.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Chase.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Any guy named Troy. Men to avoid.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Don't trust Troy.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I don't know any Troys.
- 10:10Speaker 2: And Tyler.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Tyler.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Tyler cheated on me.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Tyler.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Tyler was a guy that cheated on you?
- 10:15Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:15Speaker 2: All right, then this checks out.
- 10:17Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Women to avoid red flag women's names. Natasha.
- 10:25Speaker 1: No, I like that name.
- 10:28Speaker 4: It is pretty.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Brittany.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Brittany.
- 10:32Speaker 2: What's wrong, Brittany? Why'd you say it like that?
- 10:34Speaker 1: Lots of Brittneys.
- 10:36Speaker 4: You're the one giving us the list.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Wow, you said it in a weird way.
- 10:39Speaker 4: I said it like I said Chase.
- 10:41Speaker 2: And this one, I cannot accept. Savannah. I think Savannah
- 10:44Speaker 2: is a great name.
- 10:45Speaker 4: It's such a beautiful name.
- 10:47Speaker 11: Why?
- 10:48Speaker 2: That's what they came back with. To me, I love
- 10:52Speaker 2: people named after cities or towns or states.
- 10:56Speaker 5: You do.
- 10:56Speaker 2: That's why my dog is Georgia. Today's quote. Your reaction
- 11:01Speaker 2: is like a thermostat. Set your temperature and don't let
- 11:06Speaker 2: anyone else turn it up or down because you're responsible
- 11:09Speaker 2: for the bill. Oh, my gosh.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Staple that onto my forehead.
- 11:14Speaker 2: It's too long of a quote to fit. It is
- 11:19Speaker 2: Kiss FM about to pay another bill. Ronnie Henry is
- 11:22Speaker 2: out in Azusa. So if you're on your way to
- 11:24Speaker 2: the festival, Azusa could be on your way. He's out
- 11:28Speaker 2: there today with free gas. We'll go live to him
- 11:30Speaker 2: in just a little bit. So here come the Olympics 2028.
- 11:34Speaker 2: And there's talk about them taking down the freeways or
- 11:37Speaker 2: reducing the lanes in the freeways. Is this really going
- 11:42Speaker 2: to happen? What do we know about it and how
- 11:44Speaker 2: will it impact us who we who live here?
- 11:46Speaker 8: Yeah, it's they they are. They're going to be creating
- 11:48Speaker 8: these special game route network. So athletes, coaches, Olympic staff
- 11:52Speaker 8: can get to the venues without sitting in the normal L.A.
- 11:55Speaker 4: Traffic that we all are so used to.
- 11:57Speaker 8: So we're talking the 405, the 101, the 10, the 110.
- 12:02Speaker 4: The 5, basically all the freeways.
- 12:04Speaker 8: And just to put this into perspective, okay, they're expecting
- 12:07Speaker 8: somewhere between 10 to 15 million spectators over the 16
- 12:13Speaker 8: days of the Olympics.
- 12:14Speaker 1: That's so many.
- 12:15Speaker 4: So the goal is to reduce traffic.
- 12:17Speaker 8: They're hoping by 15% by creating these special Olympic lanes.
- 12:22Speaker 4: And we'll see if it does work.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I mean.
- 12:25Speaker 4: It's kind of wild that they're going to do this
- 12:26Speaker 4: much construction.
- 12:28Speaker 2: It makes sense in a way because, you know, the
- 12:31Speaker 2: athletes can't get stuck in traffic. They got to beat
- 12:33Speaker 2: their events. I hosted part of the Olympics in Rio
- 12:37Speaker 2: and London. Yeah. And I do recall lanes also in London,
- 12:41Speaker 2: them doing this too. And then they go back to
- 12:43Speaker 2: regular lanes afterwards for traffic flow here.
- 12:45Speaker 6: Gotcha.
- 12:46Speaker 8: But I'm kind of excited for it, you guys. I
- 12:48Speaker 8: think it's going to be really cool. The last time
- 12:50Speaker 8: it was like 1984 that we had the Olympics in L.A.
- 12:53Speaker 1: This is major.
- 12:54Speaker 2: And I like the way that it brings people together.
- 12:56Speaker 2: You know, World Cup brings people together. Just these things
- 12:58Speaker 2: that we need. Is that right? Ronnie is on the
- 13:01Speaker 2: line and he's going to be live giving away free
- 13:03Speaker 2: gas in Azusa. Hey, Ronnie.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Are you ready? This is your standby queue. Are you ready?
- 13:11Speaker 2: We're coming to you in a minute, OK?
- 13:12Speaker 6: OK, perfect.
- 13:14Speaker 5: Great.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Our digital guy, Ronnie Henry, taking on the role of
- 13:18Speaker 2: giving away free gas all over Southern California. He's out
- 13:21Speaker 2: with the KISS vehicle live in Azusa this morning. So, Ronnie,
- 13:24Speaker 2: set the scene. All right. Good morning.
- 13:27Speaker 5: So I had to drive to another gas station because
- 13:29Speaker 5: there was no one coming. And I'm like, why is
- 13:31Speaker 5: no one here? And I looked up. Don't you know
- 13:33Speaker 5: gas is almost $ 7? Yes. I was like, oh. Now
- 13:37Speaker 5: I'm at another gas station. Gas is in the five,
- 13:40Speaker 5: so it's pretty cute.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Why did you leave the $ 7 gas station?
- 13:45Speaker 4: Because nobody was there.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Because it's too expensive?
- 13:48Speaker 6: No one was there.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Listen, we got free gas for you.
- 13:51Speaker 3: You want some free gas?
- 14:02Speaker 5: Ryan Seacrest is on the phone right.
- 14:06Speaker 6: Here.
- 14:08Speaker 2: All right.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Here, Ryan Seacrest is on the phone. He wants to
- 14:10Speaker 5: speak to you.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Hey, what's your name? My name is Jason. Jason, it
- 14:17Speaker 2: is Ryan Seacrest with you on Kiss FM LA. How
- 14:20Speaker 2: are you?
- 14:21Speaker 3: I'm good. I'm tired. Just bust out a 12-hour shift.
- 14:24Speaker 3: About to go do another 7-hour shift.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Dude, I heard that. 6, 7, 11, 12 hours. What
- 14:29Speaker 2: are you doing? You're hustling.
- 14:31Speaker 3: And I work at a hospital.
- 14:32Speaker 2: What do you do at the hospital?
- 14:35Speaker 3: I'm a mental health worker. And then at the other
- 14:38Speaker 3: hospital I'm about to go to, I'm a security guard.
- 14:41Speaker 2: You are doing a lot, right? I mean, my gosh.
- 14:45Speaker 2: So your typical day is that many hours?
- 14:48Speaker 3: No, today is the start of my second job. So
- 14:52Speaker 3: we're about to see how it's going to turn out
- 14:53Speaker 3: in the next couple of months.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Well, I appreciate all the hard work you're doing, especially
- 14:59Speaker 2: at those hospitals. We need good people like you there.
- 15:02Speaker 2: And so here's what I'm doing. We're on the radio now.
- 15:06Speaker 2: My job is to host the morning show on Kiss
- 15:09Speaker 2: FM Los Angeles, the radio station. And we are just
- 15:12Speaker 2: randomly giving people free tanks of gas. So we're going
- 15:15Speaker 2: to fill your tank up.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I appreciate that.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Of course. My pleasure. That's Ronnie. He works with us.
- 15:22Speaker 2: He'll do the pocketing. Yeah, that's Ronnie.
- 15:28Speaker 3: I got Chris on my right. I got Ronnie on
- 15:31Speaker 3: my left. I was almost about to sing New Edition.
- 15:34Speaker 3: You know, Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Ricky and Mike. I love New Edition. Let's go.
- 15:42Speaker 3: I don't even know how I got this energy because
- 15:45Speaker 3: I'm tired. But, you know, y'all just woke me up.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Yeah, but you sound like you've got a lot of energy.
- 15:51Speaker 3: I'm just an energy type of person. So, you know,
- 15:53Speaker 3: I'm a, I'm a live energetic soul, even when I'm
- 15:57Speaker 3: dead and tired.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:59Speaker 2: We'll keep it up. The world needs you. Enjoy that
- 16:02Speaker 2: free gas. Good luck at all your jobs.
- 16:04Speaker 3: I appreciate that.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Thank you, Ryan.
- 16:07Speaker 2: You take good care.
- 16:09Speaker 6: Hey, you guys.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Do you meet the nicest, best people ever out? Like
- 16:13Speaker 2: I think everyone you meet is awesome.
- 16:15Speaker 5: I feel like I just attract good energy. He just
- 16:18Speaker 5: came out of the store and saw me. And I
- 16:19Speaker 5: was like, Oh, this is the perfect guy to give
- 16:21Speaker 5: some gas to.
- 16:23Speaker 2: And to think how many hours of work he's got.
- 16:25Speaker 2: So go ahead and pump him up. Let him get
- 16:26Speaker 2: out of there.
- 16:28Speaker 5: All right. I'll talk to you guys later.
- 16:30Speaker 11: Right.
- 16:30Speaker 2: But when, when will we talk again?
- 16:33Speaker 5: You said, when will we talk again?
- 16:36Speaker 2: Yeah. I want to know.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Next hour.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Well, that is up to you.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Okay, one hour.
- 16:40Speaker 7: One hour.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 16:41Speaker 8: Next hour.
- 16:42Speaker 2: You can call me whenever you want. Okay, next hour.
- 16:44Speaker 2: You got it. Ronnie out in Azusa with Free Gas.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Talk soon.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Bye.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Bye.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Kiss FM. It's so great. Pretty sick that every single
- 16:55Speaker 2: song and artist you heard there It's going to be
- 16:58Speaker 2: at our iHeartRadio Music Festival tonight and tomorrow night. That's right.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Benson Boone and Zara Larson, Goo Goo Dolls, Cardi B,
- 17:06Speaker 2: Kenny Chesney, Weezer, Snoop, BTS, Le Seraphim, Ciara, and Stella Lefty.
- 17:14Speaker 2: It's going to be a great weekend. And you'll see
- 17:16Speaker 2: it all on social. You'll listen to it here and
- 17:18Speaker 2: you'll see it, if you want to watch it in
- 17:20Speaker 2: real time, Disney Plus and Hulu live from Las Vegas.
- 17:25Speaker 2: All right. Match game time. You ready for Disneyland tickets?
- 17:28Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I got two contestants here, Liliana and Lake Forest, and
- 17:32Speaker 2: Chad and Placentia. How are you? I'm doing well.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Great.
- 17:35Speaker 2: So, Liliana, you're going to be our first contestant, number one. Chad,
- 17:39Speaker 2: you'll be number two. We're going to play the match game.
- 17:42Speaker 2: You'll each go one at a time. I'll give you
- 17:44Speaker 2: a phrase with a blank in it. Whoever gets the
- 17:46Speaker 2: most matches with our panel gets all the tickets, okay?
- 17:51Speaker 3: Sounds great.
- 17:51Speaker 6: I'm excited.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 17:53Speaker 2: All right, here we go. Liliana, you start in Lake Forest.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Don't say it out loud, but yours is blank freeway.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Blank freeway. So any word you think is the most
- 18:02Speaker 2: common word to go in front of freeway, that's what
- 18:05Speaker 2: you want to think about. Okay. Okay. And the panel
- 18:09Speaker 2: is ready? Good. Now you can say it. What is it?
- 18:14Speaker 2: Busy freeway. Busy freeway. Let's go to the panel. Cisney?
- 18:19Speaker 4: Busy freeway!
- 18:20Speaker 3: You got a match.
- 18:22Speaker 2: No way.
- 18:23Speaker 6: Yes.
- 18:23Speaker 2: All right. Tanya.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I said 405 Freeway.
- 18:28Speaker 2: No. All right. Let's go to Ruby in the back room.
- 18:33Speaker 12: I said 110 Freeway.
- 18:36Speaker 6: Okay.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Michaela in the back room.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I also said the 110 Freeway.
- 18:40Speaker 2: That's all right. You got a match. Sisney's right there
- 18:42Speaker 2: with you.
- 18:42Speaker 1: You got a match.
- 18:44Speaker 2: So stand by. Now we go to Chad. Chad, yours
- 18:47Speaker 2: is Blank Beach. Don't say it out loud. Just think
- 18:50Speaker 2: about that. Blank Beach. What might the panel put in
- 18:54Speaker 2: front of beach? All right. And panel, tell me when
- 18:58Speaker 2: you're ready.
- 19:00Speaker 5: Ready.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Let's go. Chad. Sunny beach. Sunny beach. Sisney?
- 19:08Speaker 4: I said crowded beach.
- 19:10Speaker 5: Tanya?
- 19:11Speaker 1: I said long beach.
- 19:14Speaker 6: Ruby?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Redondo beach.
- 19:17Speaker 2: And Michaela, sunny beach?
- 19:19Speaker 9: Laguna beach.
- 19:22Speaker 7: Oh.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Well, I'm sorry, Chad. That was a good try. Liliana
- 19:28Speaker 2: has won the tickets to go to Disneyland for Halloween.
- 19:33Speaker 12: Thank you.
- 19:33Speaker 3: I'm so excited.
- 19:34Speaker 8: Thank you, Ryan.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Thank you, ladies.
- 19:38Speaker 4: You're welcome.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Thank you, Chad, for playing along and listening too. Okay, bro.
- 19:44Speaker 2: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 19:48Speaker 6: All right.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Let me, before I get to Ronnie Henry, out in
- 19:50Speaker 2: Azusa with more free gas, listen to this. This is
- 19:52Speaker 2: an Italian, a new way to meet people. It is
- 19:56Speaker 2: a live dating show called love. Isn't blind. Okay. And
- 20:00Speaker 2: it tours, it goes on stage. So Allie Goldberg is
- 20:05Speaker 2: the creator, the founder of, And she's a fan of
- 20:08Speaker 2: Ryan's Roses and Second Date Update. And she considers them
- 20:12Speaker 2: inspiration for this thing that she's doing where a woman
- 20:17Speaker 2: meets four guys, but they can't speak. And they talk
- 20:21Speaker 2: to their moms.
- 20:22Speaker 1: What?
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah, they talk to their moms to evaluate what kind
- 20:25Speaker 2: of guys they are. Allie Goldberg, good morning.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 20:30Speaker 7: How are you?
- 20:31Speaker 2: I'm so interested in this and think it's brilliant. So, congratulations.
- 20:37Speaker 2: This is a live touring dating show, basically? Yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 11: I rotate through seven cities and I... Call their moms.
- 20:46Speaker 11: I search their phones. The men can't speak on stage.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Okay, explain that to me. So it's going to be Friday,
- 20:51Speaker 2: October 2nd, Pico Union Project, DTLA, tickets and tour dates
- 20:55Speaker 2: at loveisntblind.com if you want to go. But four guys, men,
- 20:59Speaker 2: men are competing for a date with one woman. And
- 21:01Speaker 2: there are rounds, right? And these rounds, one of the rounds,
- 21:04Speaker 2: you call their mom. And what do you do?
- 21:07Speaker 5: Yes, I do.
- 21:08Speaker 11: Um, I asked her for stories about him and I
- 21:11Speaker 11: think we need to believe mom, you know, because some
- 21:15Speaker 11: of the moms are amazing. They tell beautiful stories, but
- 21:19Speaker 11: sometimes they do throw their sons under the bus. And
- 21:21Speaker 11: I think we need to pay attention to those, you know,
- 21:24Speaker 11: like there was one mom where she talks about how
- 21:26Speaker 11: she can't get her son to text her back. And
- 21:28Speaker 11: he did end up winning that night. And then he
- 21:31Speaker 11: did go to the bachelorette.
- 21:33Speaker 2: And Oh, wow. And do the guys just sit there
- 21:36Speaker 2: quietly staring and listening?
- 21:39Speaker 11: No, the guys are really participating. And it's actually fascinating
- 21:42Speaker 11: how much you can learn about people, even if they're
- 21:45Speaker 11: not speaking. So the first round of the show is
- 21:47Speaker 11: this rapid fire questions round. And the men can only
- 21:50Speaker 11: do thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no. They're blindfolded.
- 21:53Speaker 11: They can't see how the other men are answering. So
- 21:56Speaker 11: we really end up learning a lot about them. And,
- 21:58Speaker 11: you know, the gimmick is that the men can't speak,
- 22:00Speaker 11: but there's actually a lot of really amazing men who participate.
- 22:03Speaker 11: And so that's been actually a very happy accident of
- 22:06Speaker 11: the show is like meeting all these great men across
- 22:08Speaker 11: the country.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Okay, what happens when you go through their phones?
- 22:12Speaker 11: I find exactly what you think I find. I tell you. Well,
- 22:17Speaker 11: if I search their texts, I'm at high risk of
- 22:19Speaker 11: pics popping up that I don't necessarily want to see.
- 22:23Speaker 11: I search their Amazon purchases. It's a great time, but
- 22:26Speaker 11: I do have a secret motive, which is that I
- 22:28Speaker 11: do think we should get Michaela as a bachelorette.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Am I wrong?
- 22:30Speaker 11: Am I wrong?
- 22:31Speaker 2: Oh, no, you are right. Yes, and her mom is... Oh,
- 22:34Speaker 2: we don't call her mom, but her mom is great.
- 22:36Speaker 11: We don't call her mom. She gets to sit back
- 22:38Speaker 11: and enjoy.
- 22:39Speaker 2: How did you come up with this idea? It's called
- 22:41Speaker 2: Love Isn't Blind.
- 22:43Speaker 11: I made the show for several reasons, one of which
- 22:45Speaker 11: is like, I love the dating drama. I love dating drama.
- 22:48Speaker 6: I love breakup drama.
- 22:49Speaker 11: I think it's very fascinating. Like what causes two people
- 22:52Speaker 11: to come together? And even more than that, what causes
- 22:55Speaker 11: two people to come apart? So I found this stuff
- 22:57Speaker 11: very fascinating. I also did go on a ton of
- 23:00Speaker 11: online dates where men would monologue at me and not
- 23:03Speaker 11: ask any questions. And I thought, what if they stopped speaking? Um,
- 23:07Speaker 11: but then, yeah, the irony is that it's like really
- 23:09Speaker 11: great guys to participate. And going back to the phone thing, like,
- 23:12Speaker 11: do they clean their phone? The men are able to, like,
- 23:16Speaker 11: I do care about the men and I want them
- 23:17Speaker 11: to have a good time. And so before the show,
- 23:19Speaker 11: they are allowed to tell me if something's like really
- 23:21Speaker 11: off limits. So I'll, I've had quite a few men
- 23:24Speaker 11: tell me that their notes app is actually like their
- 23:26Speaker 11: therapy notes. And so I tell them like, okay, I'm
- 23:28Speaker 11: not going to go.
- 23:28Speaker 6: In your notes.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Oh, we love them.
- 23:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:32Speaker 8: We do.
- 23:33Speaker 5: We do.
- 23:34Speaker 11: So I do, I do want to, um, you know,
- 23:37Speaker 11: consent matters for boys too, is what I'm saying.
- 23:39Speaker 2: So let me ask you this, Allie, has the success
- 23:42Speaker 2: rate been good in matches?
- 23:44Speaker 11: I have two marriages, which is crazy.
- 23:47Speaker 6: Wow.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:48Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 11: So a lot of what I think is like, people
- 23:51Speaker 11: are so starved for in-person connection. And at the show,
- 23:54Speaker 11: everyone gets a wristband based on their relationship status. So green,
- 23:58Speaker 11: if you're single, red, if you're taken, yellow, if you're confused,
- 24:00Speaker 11: we have poly purple, we have bisexual blue, pride wristband.
- 24:03Speaker 11: So it's really about creating an atmosphere where people actually
- 24:06Speaker 11: feel free to talk to each other. So I'll say
- 24:09Speaker 11: things on stage. Like if these contestants can do these
- 24:12Speaker 11: shenanigans on stage tonight, you can say hi to a stranger.
- 24:15Speaker 11: So it's like, a whole experience and it turns into
- 24:17Speaker 11: an after party. And I love it. And I feel
- 24:20Speaker 11: incredibly grateful that this is somehow my full-time job, making
- 24:23Speaker 11: men be quiet.
- 24:26Speaker 2: October 2nd to see the silence. Love isn't blind.com. Allie Goldberg,
- 24:31Speaker 2: the founder, creator, the host. Thank you so much for
- 24:34Speaker 2: coming on.
- 24:35Speaker 11: Thank you so much.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Have a great day.
- 24:38Speaker 8: Bye-bye.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Let's get to Ronnie. Ronnie is out on the streets
- 24:42Speaker 2: giving away free gas this morning. We picked Azusa. His
- 24:47Speaker 2: success rate is high. Ronnie, it's Ryan Seacrest. We're live
- 24:49Speaker 2: on the air. Coming to you now. Are you ready
- 24:52Speaker 2: to give away some free gas?
- 24:54Speaker 5: Yes, I am. It's crazy because we had left the
- 24:57Speaker 5: gas station because it was empty, but then we came
- 25:00Speaker 5: back and now it's full. So we brought all the
- 25:03Speaker 5: energy to this gas station. And I have someone right here.
- 25:06Speaker 5: He is already excited to get this free gas. Hey, Ryan.
- 25:10Speaker 6: I was just listening to you, man.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Oh, that's awesome, bro. What's your name?
- 25:13Speaker 6: TJ out of Covina.
- 25:16Speaker 2: I appreciate you listening to the show. We have a
- 25:18Speaker 2: good time doing it. I love that you're out there
- 25:20Speaker 2: listening to us in Covina. That's very nice. Where are
- 25:23Speaker 2: you headed this morning?
- 25:23Speaker 6: I'm going to drop my son off to school and
- 25:26Speaker 6: do some Instacart for the day. That's what I do
- 25:28Speaker 6: for a living. You probably use it.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I know Instacart. So my question is, do you
- 25:33Speaker 2: leave your car running when you run something up to
- 25:35Speaker 2: a door?
- 25:38Speaker 6: Um, I don't, I don't know. Cause you never know.
- 25:40Speaker 5: I don't want that car to move.
- 25:42Speaker 6: So I keep it off all the time. Anytime I stop.
- 25:46Speaker 2: And how many hours a day do you do that?
- 25:49Speaker 5: God, I drive all day, seven hours.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Wow.
- 25:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Then this is going to come in very useful that
- 25:56Speaker 2: we're going to fill up your tank of gas there.
- 25:58Speaker 6: Oh, man. You don't know how much gas I go
- 26:00Speaker 6: through a year. I go through so much gas every week.
- 26:04Speaker 6: So get some rest this week, Ryan. I appreciate you.
- 26:09Speaker 6: I've seen the truck next to me, and I'm just
- 26:10Speaker 6: super grateful for you guys.
- 26:12Speaker 2: You got it, bro. Am I tired?
- 26:15Speaker 6: Man, I'm always watching you, so I don't ever know
- 26:19Speaker 6: if you're sleeping or not. I just want to make
- 26:20Speaker 6: sure you're sleeping, bud.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:23Speaker 6: We got to keep you around as long as we can.
- 26:25Speaker 2: You got it, bro. I am aligned with that thought
- 26:28Speaker 2: and we'll be fired up for Vegas this weekend. I
- 26:30Speaker 2: heard radio music festival and you get that free gas.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Thank you so much for listening to kiss FM and
- 26:35Speaker 2: you have a great day.
- 26:37Speaker 6: Don't forget that sleeping beauty.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Okay. I appreciate you guys sleeping beauty. That's so nice.
- 26:45Speaker 2: He's so thoughtful. He thinks I'm so busy. I don't rest.
- 26:48Speaker 4: Oh, you are.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I'm going to work tonight and tomorrow night.
- 26:52Speaker 2: In Vegas. And then I can rest on the flight back. Exactly.
- 26:56Speaker 1: 45 minute flight back.
- 26:58Speaker 2: That's a long nap for me. Almost nine. When I
- 27:02Speaker 2: get there, I'm paying your bills. Got a weekend watch list.
- 27:05Speaker 2: And we'll talk more about what's happening tonight in Vegas
- 27:07Speaker 2: at our iHeartRadio Music Festival. Oh, Bella, our intern from USC.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I meant to follow up on this. There was an
- 27:14Speaker 2: incident that you came to us about because your roommate's
- 27:17Speaker 2: boyfriend was spending too much time basically moving in with
- 27:21Speaker 2: you guys. And she was not really acknowledging the fact
- 27:25Speaker 2: that he's overstaying his welcome. and then I think our
- 27:29Speaker 2: advice was to go address it, you and your other
- 27:32Speaker 2: roommate together. Is that what you did?
- 27:35Speaker 7: We've talked to her twice already.
- 27:37Speaker 2: So take me back. I need some detail.
- 27:40Speaker 9: Okay.
- 27:40Speaker 2: So this dude is spending too much time at your place,
- 27:43Speaker 2: the third roommate's boyfriend. So I said, team up with
- 27:47Speaker 2: your second roommate and explain kindly how this is just
- 27:51Speaker 2: not totally comfortable for the both of you. What happened?
- 27:55Speaker 7: She basically told us I'm paying for my room and
- 27:59Speaker 7: I can have guests over as long as we're in
- 28:02Speaker 7: my room and this is my life and he's my
- 28:05Speaker 7: priority and that I'm just going to keep doing.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Wow. That is a response. I did not see coming.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Very salty.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Is she generally that inconsiderate?
- 28:17Speaker 7: No, this is totally out of character for her.
- 28:20Speaker 4: She's so sweet.
- 28:21Speaker 7: Like And then this.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Boyfriend changed her. Maybe she felt blindsided. Maybe she felt
- 28:25Speaker 1: ganged up on.
- 28:26Speaker 7: Well, so we had a conversation during the summer and
- 28:29Speaker 7: we mentioned it and we were like, maybe we could
- 28:31Speaker 7: keep it to a minimum, but we can totally table
- 28:35Speaker 7: this conversation and revisit it once we move in to
- 28:38Speaker 7: our new place. And she hasn't let us know that
- 28:42Speaker 7: he's been there at all. And he's basically living with us.
- 28:45Speaker 7: He spent every night at our place.
- 28:47Speaker 2: How did you and your other roommate respond and talk about...
- 28:52Speaker 2: behind like what'd you say afterwards to each other.
- 28:55Speaker 7: We were just so upset because it was we just
- 28:57Speaker 7: thought it was really disrespectful um it is and now
- 29:01Speaker 7: we have a ring camera and she covers the ring
- 29:04Speaker 7: camera every time she brings him in she's like hiding
- 29:08Speaker 7: the fact that he's there but like my parents have
- 29:10Speaker 7: access to it so they'll like send it to me
- 29:12Speaker 7: and i'm like oh my god.
- 29:13Speaker 2: This is crazy This is not comfortable at all.
- 29:17Speaker 7: No, and it's like my friend from freshman year, like
- 29:20Speaker 7: it makes me sad that she's treating me like this.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Wow.
- 29:25Speaker 7: And I've tried compromising with her and I'm like.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Okay, is your other roommate as close to her as
- 29:31Speaker 2: you are?
- 29:32Speaker 7: That's the reason we met was through this other roommate.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Because I was going to say have one of the
- 29:36Speaker 2: roommates flirt, have the guy make a mistake and then
- 29:39Speaker 2: he gets kicked out.
- 29:39Speaker 7: Okay.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Yeah. That's what I'm saying. That gets him out of
- 29:45Speaker 2: there fast. Cause she'll break up with him.
- 29:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:47Speaker 7: So honestly, our next steps are to talk to her
- 29:50Speaker 7: parents because they also don't like the guy.
- 29:52Speaker 2: No way. Oh, that's easy.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:55Speaker 2: That's great. Why don't they like the guy?
- 29:58Speaker 7: They just think that he's changing her and that he's
- 30:01Speaker 7: not good for her.
- 30:02Speaker 2: And it sounds like it's happening.
- 30:05Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:06Speaker 8: And he's taking advantage of her by like staying at
- 30:08Speaker 8: her place, your place all week.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Once you get the parents involved, this is going to
- 30:12Speaker 2: go the right way. I think.
- 30:15Speaker 4: The right way or the wrong way, but.
- 30:17Speaker 2: No, it's going to go the right way. Yeah. But
- 30:20Speaker 2: maybe she moves out too.
- 30:23Speaker 4: Yeah, that could be.
- 30:23Speaker 7: And we can just find another roommate or my roommate
- 30:26Speaker 7: and I moved out.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Wow. Oh, the parents are getting involved.
- 30:31Speaker 4: The parents are getting involved.
- 30:34Speaker 2: All right. Well, again, I will be here for the
- 30:36Speaker 2: next episode of this drama at USC. Yeah, the covering
- 30:40Speaker 2: of the ring cam. Oh, and your parents send it
- 30:43Speaker 2: to you because they see it?
- 30:44Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't have access to the ring. My parents do.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Why don't you have access? That's kind of wild.
- 30:49Speaker 7: Well, my parents bought it for my safety and my
- 30:52Speaker 7: roommate's safety.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Where is it?
- 30:54Speaker 7: It's right by the front door.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Okay, have your parents send this footage to me. I
- 30:59Speaker 2: want to see what this dude is all about. I
- 31:01Speaker 2: want to see what he looks like. I want to
- 31:02Speaker 2: see his mannerisms. I want to evaluate this cat.
- 31:06Speaker 8: I will.
- 31:06Speaker 11: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 31:11Speaker 2: First, let's get into our weekend watch list here. Things
- 31:14Speaker 2: that are on our radar that maybe you want to
- 31:16Speaker 2: check out. It's almost impossible to keep up with everything.
- 31:18Speaker 2: But Cicely, what's on your weekend watch list?
- 31:21Speaker 4: So I am watching Furious. It's on Hulu.
- 31:25Speaker 8: It actually came out a few weeks ago, like mid-summer almost.
- 31:28Speaker 8: And a couple of my friends were telling me about it.
- 31:31Speaker 8: And so I finally started watching it. And it's Emmy Rossum.
- 31:34Speaker 8: She's playing an FBI agent. She goes undercover to capture
- 31:37Speaker 8: a female serial killer who only gets with like lonely
- 31:40Speaker 8: millionaires and then murders them. So it is so wild.
- 31:45Speaker 8: It's definitely something you can't watch with the kids around
- 31:47Speaker 8: or your mom, Ryan.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Generally, yes. I need to be warned about that.
- 31:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:53Speaker 8: So it's very there's the risque type scenes and all that.
- 31:56Speaker 4: But it's a very good show. I highly recommend it.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Okay, that is called Furious. Tanya, what's on your weekend
- 32:02Speaker 2: watch list?
- 32:03Speaker 10: So this one you can watch with your mom, Ryan.
- 32:06Speaker 10: It's Chad Powers Season 2 on Hulu. I never watched
- 32:10Speaker 10: Chad Powers Season 1, and I burned through it so quickly.
- 32:14Speaker 1: It's such a good show.
- 32:16Speaker 2: It's light.
- 32:16Speaker 1: It's feel-good.
- 32:17Speaker 10: I kind of compare it to a mix between Ted
- 32:20Speaker 10: Lasso and Mrs. Doubtfire because basically Glenn Powell plays Chad Powers,
- 32:25Speaker 10: who is this.
- 32:27Speaker 1: He used to play for the NFL. He had this huge.
- 32:29Speaker 10: embarrassing mistake now he's like covering up with prosthetics to
- 32:33Speaker 10: play for like a college team and season two is
- 32:35Speaker 10: even better than season one and all six episodes are
- 32:38Speaker 10: streaming now and i cannot wait for season three.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Ruby what's on your weekend watch list.
- 32:42Speaker 12: Mine is Last Meals on Netflix. So chef Josh Scher
- 32:47Speaker 12: sits down with celebs, like the one I watched was
- 32:49Speaker 12: with Hilary Duff, to discuss their lives, careers, and mortality
- 32:54Speaker 12: while serving them their hypothetical final meal on earth. So
- 32:58Speaker 12: think about what your final meal would be.
- 33:00Speaker 2: For example, what did you see Hilary have?
- 33:03Speaker 12: She, well, initially she had a martini, so a very
- 33:06Speaker 12: dirty martini. And then they actually tried a bunch of, like,
- 33:12Speaker 12: gross meals from her fridge, like this game that she
- 33:15Speaker 12: does with her son.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Right.
- 33:18Speaker 2: What would yours be, Ruby?
- 33:20Speaker 12: I think I would have to go with my mom's
- 33:22Speaker 12: mole enchiladas, which are like top tier.
- 33:25Speaker 4: That sounds so good.
- 33:26Speaker 2: And then he would make that in the show?
- 33:29Speaker 1: No, they just serve it.
- 33:30Speaker 2: So they have it. Okay, got it.
- 33:31Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Okay. On my weekend watch list, I popped on the, well,
- 33:36Speaker 2: I'm into The Lioness season three. I'm in it. Zoe
- 33:39Speaker 2: Saldana and Nicole Kidman. I'm in it. I haven't finished
- 33:42Speaker 2: it yet, but I'm in it. And I also just
- 33:45Speaker 2: finished The Gentleman Season 2, which is on Netflix. Is
- 33:49Speaker 2: that really good-looking guy from that White Lotus show?
- 33:52Speaker 1: Oh, Theo James?
- 33:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. He's so good-looking that I can't stop.
- 33:56Speaker 1: He's so good-looking.
- 33:58Speaker 2: I know. I mean, I'm not like that, but I'm
- 34:00Speaker 2: saying he's so elegant and good-looking. I love it when
- 34:04Speaker 2: he's on camera.
- 34:05Speaker 1: He's objectively a handsome man.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Theo who?
- 34:08Speaker 5: James?
- 34:08Speaker 2: Theo James. I'm going to look this guy up. He's
- 34:11Speaker 2: so hot. Oh, wow.
- 34:12Speaker 4: Yes.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:14Speaker 2: But he's also Debonair, you know? And he seems like
- 34:16Speaker 2: a cool guy. Yeah, I don't know. I just know
- 34:19Speaker 2: his character.
- 34:19Speaker 4: Is he tall?
- 34:20Speaker 6: Yes.
- 34:21Speaker 2: He's not that tall.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Yes, he is.
- 34:23Speaker 4: Why can't you give him the height?
- 34:26Speaker 2: Because he's got the look. Anyway, it's Guy Ritchie, a
- 34:30Speaker 2: famous director.
- 34:31Speaker 4: He's six foot.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Relax over there. That's not that tall. Guy Ritchie is
- 34:36Speaker 2: a very famous director. Wrote this, created it. It's style.
- 34:40Speaker 2: It's pretty cool. It's called The Gentleman. Very excited. From
- 34:44Speaker 2: here to Vegas, T-Mobile Arena, tonight, live, night one, iHeartRadio
- 34:48Speaker 2: Music Festival. You can hear it streaming on the iHeartRadio app.
- 34:51Speaker 2: You can watch it all live on both Disney Plus
- 34:54Speaker 2: and Hulu. So I will come out and host that.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Be fun. Michaela, are you with me tonight?
- 35:01Speaker 5: I am.
- 35:01Speaker 9: I'm getting your schedule finalized now.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Oh, Michaela's my handler. She keeps me on track and
- 35:08Speaker 2: tells me where to go next.
- 35:09Speaker 4: She does a great job, too.
- 35:11Speaker 2: You are very serious.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Very fun.
- 35:14Speaker 2: But seriously. Why is it? Why is it that you're
- 35:16Speaker 2: so busy? Is it because we're so tight to time
- 35:19Speaker 2: to do things?
- 35:20Speaker 9: That's, yeah, that's the number one reason. But there's also
- 35:22Speaker 9: so many people telling me like, oh, can Ryan do this?
- 35:24Speaker 9: Can Ryan do that? And so Belinda and I are
- 35:26Speaker 9: trying to add things last minute.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Do you say yes or no, Ryan can do that?
- 35:31Speaker 9: I talk to you and Belinda first and see.
- 35:33Speaker 4: It depends on your schedule.
- 35:35Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Okay. So because what happens is during the show, we
- 35:39Speaker 2: are backstage doing a lot of other things. I don't
- 35:42Speaker 2: know what they are. What would they be taking, meeting people?
- 35:44Speaker 9: Yeah, and there's a lot of live stuff too. So
- 35:47Speaker 9: that's when we have to make sure we're on schedule.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Got it. Are you excited to be my handler again?
- 35:52Speaker 2: I'm always excited. I mean, Bella, she gets to tell
- 35:55Speaker 2: me what to do all night tonight. It's a big deal.
- 35:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:58Speaker 7: Awesome.
- 35:59Speaker 2: You're busy.
- 35:59Speaker 1: You're never in your dressing room.
- 36:00Speaker 7: No.
- 36:01Speaker 2: No, you guys are in there drinking the Casa de
- 36:03Speaker 2: Gones tequila. There's always a bottle in the dressing room,
- 36:08Speaker 2: which is a gift from iHeart. And then I'm never
- 36:11Speaker 2: in there. And then at the end of the night,
- 36:13Speaker 2: it's three quarters gone.
- 36:14Speaker 4: We can't let it go to waste.
- 36:16Speaker 10: Literally my favorite memories. Some of my favorite memories from
- 36:19Speaker 10: the festival are sitting in your dressing room. Passing around
- 36:21Speaker 10: that bottle.
- 36:23Speaker 8: One of my favorite memories was taking that bottle and
- 36:27Speaker 8: then trying to go to a club afterwards where they
- 36:29Speaker 8: would not let.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Me in with this bottle.
- 36:31Speaker 8: So I checked it at the front desk and they kept.
- 36:35Speaker 4: It for me.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Does it ever occur to you to say, hey, Ryan,
- 36:39Speaker 2: maybe you want this one day or you just take it?
- 36:41Speaker 1: No, you're like already gone.
- 36:42Speaker 7: No.
- 36:42Speaker 10: And I feel like if my memory serves me correctly,
- 36:46Speaker 10: you have like offered me.
- 36:48Speaker 2: To take it, yeah.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you've offered it to us. It's not like we're
- 36:51Speaker 1: just going in there.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Generally, I'm not a good host if I'm drinking tequila
- 36:55Speaker 2: while I'm hosting. So you guys enjoy.
- 36:56Speaker 11: I get it.
- 36:57Speaker 4: This is like after we're done with our work duties.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Well, after we're done, I'm going to sleep.
- 37:01Speaker 6: All right.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Actually, I'm ordering room service. That's what I do afterwards.
- 37:06Speaker 2: And tonight it's BTS and Cardi B and Zara. Goo
- 37:08Speaker 2: Goo Dolls, Kenny Chesney, Weezer. Then we got Benson Boone.
- 37:11Speaker 2: I wonder who's handling him.
- 37:13Speaker 4: I wish it was me.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Really? Yeah.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Wouldn't that be a great intern assignment? Do you go?
- 37:19Speaker 2: Are you going to this festival, Bella?
- 37:21Speaker 7: No, I am not.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Oh, not one of the perks of being an intern?
- 37:23Speaker 2: I'll be watching from home. Yes, it'll be live on
- 37:25Speaker 2: Hulu and Disney +. Major Lazer, Muse, Snoop Dogg, The Pumpkins.
- 37:31Speaker 2: That's all on Saturday night. And Stella Lefty, too. Listen
- 37:36Speaker 2: on the app, iHeartRadio app, and 7.30, Disney +, and Hulu.
- 37:39Speaker 2: I'm very excited. I love it. 102.7, Kiss FM. Sit.
- 37:44Speaker 2: We are bouncing out of here. Thanks for being with
- 37:47Speaker 2: us this morning on this Friday broadcast. Cincinnati will take
- 37:50Speaker 2: you for another hour. Ryan's Rose is on Monday. We're
- 37:53Speaker 2: back with that. Let's go to Vegas. Thanks for listening
- 37:57Speaker 2: to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to subscribe,
- 37:59Speaker 2: and we'll talk to you again Monday.
