- 0:00So Luke Grauman talk about where gold's going.
- 0:03And does that move us towards a gold revaluation last time?
- 0:07Last time we spoke, you said that you thought that that was
- 0:09quite probable in the not too distant future.
- 0:13What's your take on that now? I think it still ends up now the
- 0:16question is the mechanics of it, you know, will it be sort of an
- 0:18overnight? I probably feel less confident
- 0:21about that. But I, you know, look in the
- 0:23last year, gold went from 22124 hundred to, you know, 5600 at
- 0:28the highs. We're still up near 5000, right?
- 0:30So there's already been A at least some measure of
- 0:33revaluation that's taking place by virtue of of that move.
- 0:37I ultimately think it's got a lot higher to go though.
- 0:39How? Much.
- 0:42Higher I, I, I think ultimately over the course of the cycle, it
- 0:44finishes where it used to trade historically relative to U.S.
- 0:47Federal debt, right, Your foreign health, federal debt.
- 0:49So long term, the market value of US official gold as a
- 0:53percentage of foreign held treasuries has been between 40
- 0:56and 60%. Today it's 13%.
- 0:58So assuming federal debt, foreign held federal debt never
- 1:00rises again, which probably not a great assumption, but forsake
- 1:03of argument that tells you gold got to rise between 3:00 and 5X
- 1:06from here to get back to its long term historical average
- 1:09relationship relative to US foreign held treasuries.
- 1:10So what 15 thousand, 22,000, something like that, I think is
- 1:15ultimately by the end of the cycle, you know, where we'll
- 1:17where we'll see that shake out again to happen tomorrow or next
- 1:20year per SE. But, you know, five years, six
- 1:22years, you know, I think that's where we end up.
- 1:24Whoa, did he just say that? 15,000 to $22,000 Gold from the
- 1:34man Luke Groman.
