SPEAKER_00: Well, we gotta figure out who's gonna be winning uh these concert tickets because we've had so many good responses to I don't even feel guilty about it.
• 0:07
SPEAKER_00: All started from John 317 getting a brisket for eleven dollars instead of$130, which whoopsie, somebody made a mistake.
• 0:15
  SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
• 0:16
  SPEAKER_02: And it always happens.
• 0:17
SPEAKER_02: Like, think about remember back in the day, you would have your either water or pop underneath your cart, and then all of a sudden you would go through the grocery line and they wouldn't charge you, and you're like, oops, sorry.
• 0:30
SPEAKER_02: So it happens at the grocery store probably the most.
• 0:33
SPEAKER_00: I would think that that's one of those things.
• 0:35
SPEAKER_00: I mean, uh, I mean, it wouldn't it be great if you were at a gas pump and somebody in front of you forgot to put the pump back on the handle all the way, all of a sudden you roll up and you're like, Oh, I'll take that extra.
• 0:45
SPEAKER_00: I mean, you probably would feel a little guilty, but only a little.
• 0:48
SPEAKER_00: 3386 uh said, I know the manager at Topps, and they have been looking for the guy uh who they undercharged for the brisket.
• 0:56
  SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
• 0:58
SPEAKER_02: Um, then the woman who is selling her or is selling her husband's tools, but like let's say he says list it for 75 and she charges 85 on Facebook Marketplace and keeps that extra money.
• 1:10
SPEAKER_02: Um, somebody else, another listener, said, Oh yeah, that wife selling the tools earned that extra cash.
• 1:16
SPEAKER_00: Yes, I know that's the way, but look, and and even though I got pushback from uh 5868, they said Guy Lazy equals man child.
• 1:26
  SPEAKER_00: Ew.
• 1:27
SPEAKER_00: It's not that you you're missing you're missing the point.
• 1:30
SPEAKER_00: This is actually a compliment to women, okay?
• 1:33
SPEAKER_00: I have skill sets that I'm good at.
• 1:36
SPEAKER_00: Someday we'll figure them out.
• 1:37
SPEAKER_00: Well, yes, but uh but uh you have skill sets, just the DNA makeup, a lot of times of the female organism is you are better at certain organizational tasks than a man is.
• 1:51
SPEAKER_00: So that's why I've made this comment more than once.
• 1:54
SPEAKER_00: Y'all are better at scheduling medical appointments and keeping track of that stuff and telling me where to go than I am.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_00: It's not that I can't do it, but here's the way it happens for a guy, and this will piss you right off.
• 2:05
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm sure it will.
• 2:06
SPEAKER_00: So here's the way it is I make a dentist appointment for next Thursday to finally get this cavity uh looked at, right?
• 2:12
SPEAKER_00: That you've been a bitching at me about.
• 2:14
SPEAKER_00: You're like, because every time I I eat dinner, I'm like, oh and you're like, why don't you go get it fixed?
• 2:19
SPEAKER_00: And I've been waiting for you to make the appointment, but you know what?
• 2:21
  SPEAKER_00: I also understand I'm a big boy, so I I called.
• 2:23
  SPEAKER_01: There you go.
• 2:24
  SPEAKER_00: Here's the thing, right?
• 2:25
SPEAKER_00: This is where it's going to drive you crazy.
• 2:27
  SPEAKER_00: You forget.
• 2:27
SPEAKER_00: I don't tell no, worse, I don't tell you that I made the appointment.
• 2:31
SPEAKER_00: Or worse yet, you know, I I don't know, all of a sudden we're up the day before, and the message comes across my text.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_00: Hey, don't forget you got an appointment with Dr.
• 2:39
  SPEAKER_00: Minchin tomorrow.
• 2:40
SPEAKER_00: Why didn't you tell me about that?
• 2:44
SPEAKER_00: Just deal with the appointment making woman.
• 2:46
  SPEAKER_00: It's a compliment.
• 2:47
SPEAKER_00: You are, as a breed, better at organizing things like that.
• 2:51
SPEAKER_00: As a breed, I have my skills.
• 2:52
  SPEAKER_00: We'll figure them out.
• 2:54
SPEAKER_02: We're getting off task here.
• 2:55
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what?
• 2:55
SPEAKER_02: Because we have to pick a winner.
• 2:57
SPEAKER_02: Because that's a whole other story for another day.
• 2:59
SPEAKER_02: A whole other conversation for another day.
• 3:01
SPEAKER_02: But we need to pick a winner for the Ashanti um Darius Rucker tickets.
• 3:06
SPEAKER_02: Here's who I want to win, and I have a very good reason why.
• 3:08
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 3:09
SPEAKER_02: I wanted to be the woman who fell asleep before her DoorDash got there and she had cold tacos, went to Taco Bell, and said, My my food's cold.
• 3:19
SPEAKER_02: And here's why I think she should win.
• 3:21
SPEAKER_00: Twelve hours later, my dear.
• 3:23
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 3:23
SPEAKER_02: But here's why I think she should win is because some of these, like the ones where you order something on Amazon and then it it gets delivered way later, or they deliver two or whatever.
• 3:33
SPEAKER_02: There's really not a lot of work that happened.
• 3:35
SPEAKER_02: Like this person got out of her car and with a hangover.
• 3:40
  SPEAKER_00: With a hangover.
• 3:41
  SPEAKER_02: And faced someone.
• 3:43
  SPEAKER_02: Yes.
• 3:43
SPEAKER_02: Like for you to face somebody on a keyboard is different than going, hey, these tacos are cold.
• 3:50
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 3:50
SPEAKER_02: I could not have the cojones to do it.
• 3:53
SPEAKER_02: So that's why I think that personal.
• 3:56
SPEAKER_00: So we'll give you two Ashanti tickets, two Darius tickets.
• 3:59
SPEAKER_00: Uh, they're back to back.
• 4:00
SPEAKER_00: One show is Friday, one show is Saturday in uh two weeks.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna score that one.
• 4:05
  SPEAKER_00: Congratulations.
• 4:06
SPEAKER_00: By the way, we have more tickets that we'll give away to both these shows as we you know move a little bit closer to it.
• 4:12
SPEAKER_02: 8608, I'll call you after the show.
• 4:14
  SPEAKER_00: Oh three, two, one.
• 4:17
SPEAKER_00: You're listening to Scott and Allie.
• 4:18
SPEAKER_00: Scott and Allie's big three.
• 4:20
  SPEAKER_00: We're catching up, John.
• 4:21
SPEAKER_00: He just texted, he goes, Must have been you used up all your time on demand.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_00: Uh turns out May 6th being the last one.
• 4:27
SPEAKER_02: I uploaded some this morning, but there is a lot that is not getting uploaded because I was out of town.
• 4:32
  SPEAKER_02: Scott was off.
• 4:34
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and normally if one of us is off, you know, it's like we like to give you the full show.
• 4:38
  SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
• 4:39
SPEAKER_00: Um, so there is a lot, we're playing catch up right now.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_02: It'll probably start today more than anything because there's just a lot of shows that were so split up.
• 4:47
SPEAKER_00: Hey, but the good news is we have more time.
• 4:51
SPEAKER_00: So now you'll be able to get more pretty much all of it.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_02: But I started uploading it, so you should start seeing it.
• 4:57
  SPEAKER_00: It'll it'll populate.
• 4:58
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it'll probably it'll probably start catching up.
• 5:00
SPEAKER_02: Eldridge's Eldridge Parks opening day is right around the corner.
• 5:05
SPEAKER_02: So at noon on Friday, the park is opening all weekend long, and of course, throughout the rest of the year.
• 5:12
SPEAKER_02: And don't forget we have our party in the park June 27th at Eldridge.
• 5:16
SPEAKER_02: But for anybody who's wanting to start summer this weekend for Memorial Day, there you go.
• 5:21
SPEAKER_02: And an incident at the Elmyra Correctional Facility seems like something out of a movie.
• 5:26
SPEAKER_02: They went to give an inmate some medication on May 8th, and there was a dummy in the inmate's cell bed.
• 5:33
SPEAKER_02: Like No way! Like a pillow inside of a uh a t-shirt.
• 5:38
SPEAKER_02: The funny thing about the whole thing is they found the guy, he was just in the mess hall, just want an extra meal.
• 5:44
SPEAKER_02: And went all that way.
• 5:46
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 5:47
  SPEAKER_02: Yes.
• 5:47
SPEAKER_02: And Duncan is set to reintroduce their 48-ounce coffee buckets, the ones that went viral just back in February.
• 5:54
SPEAKER_02: So starting this weekend, May 22nd, we have two days before this happens, you can get those huge, massive coffee buckets that will be back.
• 6:02
SPEAKER_02: Now, for the next big three, I want you to come back because there's a couple things I want to hit.
• 6:06
SPEAKER_02: One of them is what's going on with the LAPD detective, known for his role in the 1995 OJ Simpson murder trial.
• 6:15
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna give you an update on him in one hour.
