- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, let's get things going on this Friday morning,
- 0:04Speaker 2: halfy Friday. Just after six o'clock, Ricky Sanchez has those
- 0:07Speaker 2: three things.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Influencer Alex Earl is getting a Netflix reality TV show.
- 0:12Speaker 3: She's taking the buzz of her stint on Dancing with
- 0:14Speaker 3: the Stars to her own unscripted reality series. The show's
- 0:18Speaker 3: gonna launch on Netflix sometime.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Later this year.
- 0:21Speaker 3: No actual date has been solidified just yet, but Alex
- 0:25Speaker 3: did say in a statement quote, people think they know
- 0:27Speaker 3: everything there is to know about me and my family,
- 0:29Speaker 3: but honestly, there's still so much more because she does
- 0:32Speaker 3: share a lot on social media.
- 0:33Speaker 4: That's where she started out as.
- 0:35Speaker 3: An influencer on social media. But apparently we're gonna learn
- 0:38Speaker 3: even more about her. The annual Nashville scenes Hot Chicken
- 0:43Speaker 3: Week kicks off on Monday.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Hopefully fingers crossed.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Hot Chicken Week is going to run through Sunday, February first,
- 0:49Speaker 3: at a variety of different restaurants throughout Nashville. Participating restaurants
- 0:53Speaker 3: are gonna have an eight dollars Hot Chicken Week special
- 0:56Speaker 3: that customers can then vote for, so you can vote
- 0:57Speaker 3: for the best traditional, best overall and most unique dish.
- 1:01Speaker 4: And somebody's going to be crowned the winner.
- 1:03Speaker 3: A few of the spots involved are places like Germantown Pub,
- 1:06Speaker 3: Princess Hot Chicken, albas and Panadas.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Are making some Auto's bar.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Everybody's gonna get a little unique and different with their versions,
- 1:16Speaker 3: so go check them out. It's a way for you
- 1:17Speaker 3: to try new restaurants here in Nashville and have something
- 1:21Speaker 3: fun to do.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Obviously, with the way that the snow is.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Going, I don't recommend that you leave your house if
- 1:26Speaker 3: you can't if it's not safe, but if it is,
- 1:28Speaker 3: go check out some places.
- 1:30Speaker 4: The full lineup is available online and the.
- 1:33Speaker 3: American Red Cross has declared an emergency blood shortage. The
- 1:37Speaker 3: supply is dropped by thirty five percent in the last
- 1:39Speaker 3: month alone, which is not good.
- 1:42Speaker 4: So the blood supplies are low and that means.
- 1:44Speaker 3: That it can negatively impact the ability to treat people
- 1:47Speaker 3: that need things like chemotherapy, underlining blood issues or disorders, surgeries,
- 1:53Speaker 3: all sorts of stuff.
- 1:54Speaker 4: So they need donations. They're calling on people.
- 1:57Speaker 3: To donate if they can and make sure that our
- 2:01Speaker 3: hospitals are stocked up and we don't outpace the supply
- 2:04Speaker 3: of blood. So you can sign up to get blood
- 2:06Speaker 3: by using the blood donor app or you can go
- 2:07Speaker 3: to redcrossblood dot org or call one eight hundred red
- 2:11Speaker 3: Cross to find a place to donate.
- 2:14Speaker 4: And those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:16Speaker 2: It's a good tip, good psa very important thank you
- 2:18Speaker 2: so much. Ricky getting back into the music with Alex Warren.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Don't forget about those juvenile tickets. We've got him in
- 2:24Speaker 2: less than ten minutes. Your last chance of the week
- 2:26Speaker 2: to get into this super fun show coming up next on.
- 2:29Speaker 1: The River Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Happy Friday from everyone at one oh seven five the River.
- 2:37Speaker 3: We're really excited for it to be Friday. Not so
- 2:40Speaker 3: excited for the snow. But you know, what are you
- 2:43Speaker 3: gonna do?
- 2:44Speaker 4: Tiffany? And fair of you? What do you plan to
- 2:45Speaker 4: do this weekend in the snow?
- 2:47Speaker 5: Nothing?
- 2:48Speaker 4: Watch Netflix? And that's it nice. That's what I plan
- 2:50Speaker 4: to do too. I'm not mean my apartment.
- 2:52Speaker 5: What's on your watch list?
- 2:56Speaker 3: Do it, Tiffany, I've watched already. Zach just finished last night,
- 3:02Speaker 3: Kevin's kind of in the middle.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Of It's oh so good.
- 3:05Speaker 4: You're gonna love it. Yeah, I haven't been it, but yes,
- 3:07Speaker 4: it's amazing. Oh my god, I'm so excited for you.
- 3:10Speaker 3: I love any kind of show or movie where I
- 3:12Speaker 3: need to kind of put the puzzle pieces together and
- 3:14Speaker 3: it has me think about like what exactly happened?
- 3:18Speaker 4: And I'm so good at it. This one I did
- 3:21Speaker 4: not call the end.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Well, can I ask you a quick question, Rickie, because
- 3:23Speaker 2: you obviously have seen the whole thing? There are some
- 3:25Speaker 2: who done It's where like when the final reveal, it's like,
- 3:28Speaker 2: how the hell is I supposed to know that? Like
- 3:30Speaker 2: that they give there's information that we as the viewers
- 3:33Speaker 2: don't have.
- 3:34Speaker 3: You're gonna find out every little piece of the puzzle
- 3:37Speaker 3: and everything is gonna make sense and fit and you're
- 3:40Speaker 3: gonna feel so dumb at the end.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Literally when you when I finished it last night, I
- 3:43Speaker 6: was like, duh, how did I miss that?
- 3:46Speaker 4: It's so good, Tiffany. I'm so excited for you.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Also, I highly suggest if you haven't seen it, because
- 3:53Speaker 3: the Oscars are coming up, definitely watch Sinners because they
- 3:57Speaker 3: are nominated for sixteen different category, which is history being
- 4:02Speaker 3: made with the nominations. Definitely try to watch it if
- 4:05Speaker 3: you can this weekend.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Oh definitely, thank you.
- 4:07Speaker 2: It's a good movie.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Heck yeah, awesome.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Hey you want to go see Juvenile? Absolutely well, congratulations,
- 4:13Speaker 2: you're the last first caller of the day of the week.
- 4:16Speaker 2: You're going to see him at Marathon Music Works May ten.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Absolutely congrats. May will be nice and warm. You'll have
- 4:22Speaker 3: a nice day, a throwback night. It's gonna be so
- 4:24Speaker 3: much fun. Tiffany, hang on the line so we can
- 4:26Speaker 3: get your info.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Okay, okay, thank you.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I'm gonna say something provocative here. Halfway through. I don't
- 4:32Speaker 2: really like the show that much, to be honest with you.
- 4:34Speaker 4: So far in well, I mean, it does make you think.
- 4:38Speaker 2: So it makes you think what that I don't have
- 4:41Speaker 2: good takes TV.
- 4:42Speaker 3: No, it makes you like you have to think of
- 4:43Speaker 3: a show, makes you you need to use your brain.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Wow.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Okay, that just proved my point. Thank you, Kevin.
- 4:50Speaker 2: It's one of seven to five the River. We're looking
- 4:54Speaker 2: at a nasty weekend in Nashville, a large part of
- 4:57Speaker 2: the country actually under this like weather advisory. Ricky's got
- 5:01Speaker 2: some tips and tricks also places to sled for if
- 5:03Speaker 2: you want to get out and buy with the kids.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Yeah. So right now, it's looking like we're gonna.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Get snow, then sleet, then freezing rain, and maybe back
- 5:11Speaker 3: to snow in a lot of areas of Middle Tennessee.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Obviously that varies depending on where you are, and everything
- 5:17Speaker 3: is still very much up in the air because every
- 5:20Speaker 3: model that you can look at as a meteorologist is
- 5:23Speaker 3: basically showing like different ideas. But the main thing here
- 5:27Speaker 3: is we are getting something. We are getting snow, we
- 5:29Speaker 3: are getting freezing rain. We're getting something no matter where
- 5:31Speaker 3: you are in Middle Tennessee this weekend. A few things
- 5:34Speaker 3: that you should have to be prepared. Flashlights and batteries
- 5:37Speaker 3: or candles in case you lose power, shovels and salt.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Make sure that you have like good sturdy shovels. I
- 5:43Speaker 3: know that that's a big thing that people forget to,
- 5:44Speaker 3: Like check is like if their shovel is even still functioning.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Plenty of blankets just in case we lose power. Also
- 5:51Speaker 3: water jugs and bread. Make sure that you have food
- 5:53Speaker 3: and water in case you need it. Charge all of
- 5:56Speaker 3: your external batteries for your phones or your laptops.
- 6:00Speaker 6: To my house last night and I grabbed all of
- 6:01Speaker 6: my external like charging devices and I plugged them all
- 6:04Speaker 6: in so that doesn't die.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And try to just keep your phone plugged in until
- 6:08Speaker 2: you actually lose power, Sorry, Ricky, just keep it.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Plugged in other ways to prepare.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Anything that you don't want frozen should be brought inside.
- 6:15Speaker 3: So think plants or anything outside that might crack, you're
- 6:19Speaker 3: gonna want to bring them inside because it's going to
- 6:21Speaker 3: get very, very cold this weekend.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Keep your pets indoors.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Do not leave your pets outside because, like I said,
- 6:27Speaker 3: it's going to be so unbelievably cold this weekend. Get
- 6:31Speaker 3: any medications that you need today.
- 6:33Speaker 5: That's a great low.
- 6:35Speaker 4: If you're running low on anything, go today. That includes
- 6:38Speaker 4: you know, common things that you might be running out of.
- 6:40Speaker 3: If there's advil that you need, or peptibismo, whatever it
- 6:44Speaker 3: is that you may need that you use frequently, go
- 6:46Speaker 3: get today. Make sure that you check on your elderly family,
- 6:50Speaker 3: friends and neighbors. They are so important to check on
- 6:55Speaker 3: because you may not think about them very often, but
- 6:57Speaker 3: if they get cold or if their heat goes out
- 6:59Speaker 3: and they don't think to call you, like you got
- 7:01Speaker 3: to check on them. Okay, And make sure that you
- 7:04Speaker 3: have multiple ways for you to get alerts. So make
- 7:07Speaker 3: sure that you have alert set up on your phone,
- 7:09Speaker 3: make sure that you have.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Your laptop charging in case you need to go on
- 7:12Speaker 4: your laptop. There are going to be a.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Lot of things changing, so you need to make sure
- 7:16Speaker 3: that you're available for any type of alert that might
- 7:18Speaker 3: come through. If it ends up not being actually that bad,
- 7:22Speaker 3: then go sledding and enjoy the snow.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Yeah, go have fun.
- 7:25Speaker 6: I thought about like dune because the Olympic Games are
- 7:27Speaker 6: coming up. I thought about, like doing the Olympics outside
- 7:29Speaker 6: of the fastest person or best snow angel.
- 7:32Speaker 5: Like you can make a competition out of it. Would
- 7:34Speaker 5: that be so fun?
- 7:35Speaker 3: Lots of fun ways to enjoy the snow, one of
- 7:37Speaker 3: the biggest ones being sledding. So if you're gonna sled
- 7:40Speaker 3: a few ideas or places for you to go. Capitol
- 7:43Speaker 3: Hill downtown is a great place to sled. Cedar Hill
- 7:46Speaker 3: Park in Madison, Shelby Park in East Nashville. There's a
- 7:49Speaker 3: rollercoaster hill between Brookhallow and Hickory Valley Roads in Bellevue.
- 7:54Speaker 3: The hill near Laverne High School is also a nice one.
- 7:57Speaker 3: MTSU entrance on Ruther Boulevard.
- 7:59Speaker 4: And Murphy's Burrow.
- 8:00Speaker 6: I went to college at MTSU and I remember when
- 8:02Speaker 6: it would snow like we would all go there.
- 8:04Speaker 5: It was so much fun.
- 8:06Speaker 3: There's lots of fun places to slide if it's really
- 8:08Speaker 3: not that bad, and we do just end up getting
- 8:10Speaker 3: like some nice, airy, fluffy snow, that's where you can
- 8:13Speaker 3: enjoy some of it. And the last thing I'll leave
- 8:15Speaker 3: you with is just making sure that you guys all
- 8:17Speaker 3: take care of each other.
- 8:18Speaker 4: So if you have neighbors who.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Might need help or whoever it might be, make sure
- 8:22Speaker 3: that you're all taking care of each other because it
- 8:24Speaker 3: could end up being very scary this weekend, or it
- 8:26Speaker 3: could end up just being a bunch of snow.
- 8:28Speaker 6: And lastly, I'm just gonna say, if you don't have
- 8:31Speaker 6: to drive, don't don't even try. Total Like, don't leave
- 8:34Speaker 6: your house if you don't have to, Like, it's not
- 8:36Speaker 6: worth risking your own safety.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Three things you need to know just.
- 8:40Speaker 2: After seven o'clock you're on this Friday morning, Happy Friday.
- 8:43Speaker 2: We do have new hairy styles coming after three things.
- 8:45Speaker 2: But first Ricky's got those three things.
- 8:48Speaker 4: All the Oscar nominees are out.
- 8:50Speaker 3: I'm not going to list for you everything because obviously
- 8:52Speaker 3: there's a lot, but here are some things that you
- 8:54Speaker 3: should know. Sinners leads the nominees with a record breaking
- 8:58Speaker 3: sixteen nomination, which is so well deserved. If you've seen it,
- 9:03Speaker 3: I think you'd understand. If you haven't, this weekend is
- 9:06Speaker 3: your time to watch it, because it is that good.
- 9:08Speaker 3: You gotta watch it before the Oscars. This year, the
- 9:11Speaker 3: Oscars added a new category. It's the first since animated
- 9:14Speaker 3: feature was added in two thousand and two. So this
- 9:17Speaker 3: new category recognizes best casting.
- 9:19Speaker 4: So that's pretty cool.
- 9:20Speaker 3: We got a new one to look forward to this year.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Here are the nominations for Best Picture. You can watch
- 9:26Speaker 3: them this weekend since you're gonna be stuck in your
- 9:27Speaker 3: house anyway, and then you could be prepared. Butgonia f One, Frankenstein, Hamnett,
- 9:34Speaker 3: Marty Supreme, One Battle after another, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, Sinners,
- 9:40Speaker 3: and Train Dreams are all nominated for Best Picture this year.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Get through as many as you can this weekend. Whichever
- 9:45Speaker 3: ones are available, watch them. There's nothing like actually being
- 9:48Speaker 3: able to watch the Oscars and knowing the movies are
- 9:51Speaker 3: actually nominated, having some skin in the game, having some
- 9:54Speaker 3: feelings about it. The Oscars are going to be hosted
- 9:57Speaker 3: by Conan O'Brien. They're set for Sunday, March fifteenth. Looking
- 10:01Speaker 3: ahead to Valentine's Day, the General Jackson Showboat is doing
- 10:05Speaker 3: a Valentine's Day dinner cruise, which is really cute. So
- 10:08Speaker 3: on Valentine's Day, Saturday, February fourteenth, they're offering a romantic
- 10:13Speaker 3: three hour cruise with Valentine's Day themed cocktails, live musical entertainment, dinner,
- 10:19Speaker 3: and beautiful views. Tickets are available now at General Jackson
- 10:23Speaker 3: dot com. A fun little thing for you to do
- 10:24Speaker 3: a little different than the average normal just dinner out.
- 10:27Speaker 4: On the town.
- 10:29Speaker 3: And I know it's cold out, but if the home
- 10:32Speaker 3: or office is feeling stuffy, it may be time to
- 10:35Speaker 3: burp it. Yes, you're both looking at me like I'm crazy.
- 10:38Speaker 3: I sound in safe, but it's going viral right now.
- 10:42Speaker 3: The idea is to open your windows for five to
- 10:44Speaker 3: ten minutes and let the stale indoor air out and
- 10:47Speaker 3: the fresh winter air in. People in Germany do it,
- 10:51Speaker 3: and apparently it's got a lot of health benefits.
- 10:53Speaker 4: So spending so much.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Time indoors keeping the cold air out makes makes it
- 10:58Speaker 3: so like moisture gets trapped inside. Carbon dioxide from our
- 11:01Speaker 3: own breathing organic compounds from things like paint cleaners and
- 11:05Speaker 3: air fresheners. So if you let it out, it kind
- 11:08Speaker 3: of dilutes all of that stuff, and.
- 11:10Speaker 4: It's gonna make you feel more alert and even help
- 11:12Speaker 4: you sleep better.
- 11:13Speaker 2: But it's a good tip. I like that.
- 11:14Speaker 3: So it's recommended to burp your home after cooking, showering, sleeping,
- 11:19Speaker 3: or hosting guests.
- 11:20Speaker 6: Ricky, what are you doing today? Oh, I'm really busy.
- 11:22Speaker 6: I gotta burn my house.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Pet, you gotta go burn my house.
- 11:26Speaker 5: I love that.
- 11:27Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchos. And those are the three things you
- 11:29Speaker 4: need to know.
- 11:31Speaker 5: Class is in sessions sacks.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Fact on.
- 11:36Speaker 6: You guys, there's no such thing as a straight line.
- 11:39Speaker 6: Did you know that if you zoom in close enough
- 11:41Speaker 6: to anything, you'll spot irregularities in them, even like a
- 11:45Speaker 6: laser light beam is slightly curved, and that's because of
- 11:48Speaker 6: Earth's gravitational field.
- 11:50Speaker 5: I did nothing is straight?
- 11:51Speaker 4: Yeah, nothing is straight.
- 11:53Speaker 5: And there's your fact of the day.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I really like that fact. Thank you, Zach.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach.
- 11:58Speaker 3: And in the morning on the river, ladies, do you
- 12:04Speaker 3: shovel or do you make the men in your life
- 12:07Speaker 3: do that for you?
- 12:08Speaker 4: It's one O seven five the River.
- 12:10Speaker 3: This I did not realize was such a debate until
- 12:12Speaker 3: I was online. I was on threads last night, and.
- 12:15Speaker 4: It's quite the debate, really. Oh yeah.
- 12:18Speaker 3: A lot of women fighting for their right to shovel,
- 12:21Speaker 3: and a lot of women saying they don't want to
- 12:22Speaker 3: a lot of men saying that they should shovel.
- 12:25Speaker 4: It's it's wild.
- 12:26Speaker 2: I'm gonna say right now that my wife is an
- 12:28Speaker 2: excellent shoveler. She might be better than I am. She's good, Kevin.
- 12:31Speaker 5: You're only saying that so she does more often. Give
- 12:35Speaker 5: her a compliment and she'll keep doing this six.
- 12:37Speaker 4: One five seven through seven nine, one oh seven. Do
- 12:40Speaker 4: you shovel in the house or do you make the
- 12:42Speaker 4: men do that?
- 12:43Speaker 1: One O seven five the River? Ricky Zach and Mannow
- 12:47Speaker 1: in the Morning apparently.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Has seen online some debating about shoveling the women. Apparently
- 12:52Speaker 2: there's some of them fighting for their right to shovel.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Others think it's a man's job. So we want to
- 12:57Speaker 2: know in your house, whose responsibility is that? Jamie and
- 13:00Speaker 2: Clarksville is on the line. Do you shovel?
- 13:01Speaker 5: Jamie?
- 13:02Speaker 4: Do you do shovel?
- 13:04Speaker 3: Okay, so do you enjoy it, or do you would
- 13:07Speaker 3: you rather the men in the house take care of it.
- 13:10Speaker 7: I guess I would be considered a little old school
- 13:13Speaker 7: because I'm one of those that believes if do you
- 13:17Speaker 7: expect your husband to do it, you, as a partner,
- 13:20Speaker 7: should help him do.
- 13:22Speaker 3: It as well or her.
- 13:23Speaker 6: It's kind of like the same thing as like an
- 13:25Speaker 6: employer is like, don't ask your employee to do something
- 13:28Speaker 6: that you would never do.
- 13:29Speaker 4: I don't that you just related to work.
- 13:32Speaker 1: That's how it is.
- 13:33Speaker 5: I don't want to do something that you wouldn't do.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even think that's old school, Jamie. I
- 13:39Speaker 2: like that line of thinking.
- 13:41Speaker 7: You know, we're partners, so should be fifty fifty.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Okay. I hope he also helps you cook and clean.
- 13:47Speaker 7: Oh oh he does.
- 13:49Speaker 4: He does good, Jamie. Then I feel better. I just
- 13:51Speaker 4: had to make sure, you know, I have to make
- 13:53Speaker 4: sure I'm a girl's girl. I got to make sure
- 13:55Speaker 4: that my girl Jamie's taken care of. Oh.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Thank you keep for coming in today, love and stay
- 14:01Speaker 3: safe this weekend.
- 14:02Speaker 5: Okay, now, thanks. You know what I was just thinking about.
- 14:08Speaker 6: I feel like a lot of women are probably fighting
- 14:10Speaker 6: for their rights to do it because.
- 14:11Speaker 5: They know their husband won't do it correctly.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Zach, you are so right about that.
- 14:18Speaker 5: They're gonna walk out and be like, what were you
- 14:20Speaker 5: even doing out here?
- 14:21Speaker 4: You are so right about that. A lot of them
- 14:23Speaker 4: did comment on that.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Well, Ricky, you're a strong independent woman. Are you a shoveler?
- 14:28Speaker 4: I am. I am a shoveler with guidelines.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Okay, so I don't mind shoveling when it's that like fluffy, light,
- 14:34Speaker 3: airy kind of snow, because it's a full body workout.
- 14:36Speaker 4: That's the way I look at it. It's all right, girl,
- 14:38Speaker 4: you're gotting your workout in.
- 14:39Speaker 3: If it's that wet, slushy, disgusting stuff, I ain't going
- 14:43Speaker 3: out there.
- 14:43Speaker 4: I'm just a girl.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Oh now, you're just a girl. A girl six seven
- 14:50Speaker 2: three seven nine one o seven. If you want to
- 14:52Speaker 2: weigh in on Ricky is Zach and Mano in the
- 14:55Speaker 2: morning on seven five the River seven five the River.
- 14:59Speaker 2: There is some snow heading toward Nashville this weekend, and
- 15:01Speaker 2: we're having a conversation about shoveling Ricky. Apparently a scene
- 15:06Speaker 2: online women debating if that's a man's job a woman's job.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Ricky shovels unless it's like the wet, slushy stuff Melissa
- 15:12Speaker 2: in Nashville. Where do you stand.
- 15:14Speaker 8: It's a family event, whoever's in the house and table hands,
- 15:18Speaker 8: everybody shuffles, or it could be an individual event, which
- 15:22Speaker 8: is a stress reliever when you spend that quality time
- 15:25Speaker 8: with families. Sometimes you just need to get.
- 15:27Speaker 7: Out and shovel.
- 15:30Speaker 5: I like that thought process. You know, we've been locked
- 15:32Speaker 5: up in this house way too long. I'm gonna go
- 15:34Speaker 5: outside and shovel real quick.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Yeah, that is.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Very real, Melissa.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I agree. It is peaceful.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Get a few seconds away from the kids who've been
- 15:43Speaker 3: cooped up all day.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Not knowing what to do. I get that.
- 15:47Speaker 3: I don't have any kids, but I get it as
- 15:49Speaker 3: much as I possibly can.
- 15:50Speaker 8: Everybody helps out too.
- 15:52Speaker 2: How old are your kids twelve? Okay, see that might
- 15:55Speaker 2: be a little bit helpful. My kids are not helpful
- 15:57Speaker 2: when it comes to that stuff at all.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Not yet.
- 16:00Speaker 4: They're a little too young, but one day they will be.
- 16:01Speaker 3: One day you'll put them to work, Kevin, Melissa, thank
- 16:03Speaker 3: you so much for calling in this morning.
- 16:05Speaker 4: We hope you have a great day.
- 16:06Speaker 7: Have a great day.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 16:08Speaker 5: I'll be careful this weekend.
- 16:09Speaker 8: You guys too. Everybody say thanks.
- 16:11Speaker 2: My heart is with all the parents that have the
- 16:13Speaker 2: really tiny kids that have to get them all bundled up.
- 16:15Speaker 2: It takes forever to get out there.
- 16:17Speaker 4: And then seventeen layers.
- 16:19Speaker 5: But they look so cute.
- 16:20Speaker 4: I know they use a little marshmallows.
- 16:22Speaker 5: They can't bend their elbows or anything.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Yeah, little marshmallows wabblowing around.
- 16:26Speaker 2: But then they're out there for thirty minutes and they're cold,
- 16:28Speaker 2: so they want to come in, and then you have
- 16:29Speaker 2: the big wet pile on the floor, and then thirty
- 16:31Speaker 2: minutes later they want to go back out.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:33Speaker 4: I we'll be doing any of that. Thank god.
- 16:35Speaker 2: We have PRENDS tickets coming up next with the Game
- 16:37Speaker 2: of the Day.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Ricky Zach and Meadow in the morning.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Preds tickets on the line for Kevin Manno's Game of
- 16:45Speaker 3: the Day on one oh seven five the River, February second.
- 16:48Speaker 3: They're playing Saint Louis. It's Smashville Hockey Jersey Night. You
- 16:51Speaker 3: could be there, Robbie and Mount Juliet. If you win
- 16:54Speaker 3: the game.
- 16:54Speaker 6: Oh long, overdue for a prind Game's all right.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 16:57Speaker 2: I hope you win. Man, I'm gonna ask you questions
- 17:00Speaker 2: based on different mascots, sports mascots and corporate mascots food
- 17:04Speaker 2: brand stuff like that. If you get two out of
- 17:06Speaker 2: three of them, these preds ticks are yours. Your game
- 17:09Speaker 2: starts right now. Robbie and Mount Juliet. What little pink
- 17:16Speaker 2: bunny where sunglasses and plays a drum.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Er? Bunny? Nice?
- 17:23Speaker 4: Nice man.
- 17:25Speaker 2: I really thought some of these would be hard, but
- 17:26Speaker 2: everybody's just crushing them. Question two, you get this? You win?
- 17:30Speaker 2: A tall ripped banana named split split is the mascot
- 17:35Speaker 2: of what baseball team?
- 17:39Speaker 4: The banana?
- 17:40Speaker 2: Oh, well, you're going to see the Press is also
- 17:44Speaker 2: known as the King of Potassium.
- 17:48Speaker 3: That is phenomenal. I did not know that, but that
- 17:51Speaker 3: makes me love them even more than I already did. Congratulations, Robbie,
- 17:56Speaker 3: You're gonna go see the Press.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Long overdue and now it's finally gonna happen on February second.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 18:02Speaker 4: You're so welcome.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Hang on the line, okay, sure will stay safe this weekend, Buddy,
- 18:06Speaker 2: Ricky and Zach. Now, I have a surplus questions on
- 18:08Speaker 2: my hands. Can I ask you guys for you sure?
- 18:10Speaker 1: What?
- 18:10Speaker 2: Okay, let's race to see who gets it. First, Okay,
- 18:13Speaker 2: what large red mascot regularly breaks through walls and says?
- 18:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Zach said that. First, lemu Emu and a
- 18:21Speaker 2: man named Doug appearing there you go?
- 18:24Speaker 4: Nice?
- 18:24Speaker 2: What beer ran? Very memorable ads featuring the most interesting man. No,
- 18:29Speaker 2: that's a point deduction for Zack.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Isn't it like a dose dose skies?
- 18:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'll give you both zero point zero George Clooney.
- 18:42Speaker 4: It's not George, but I said it.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Congratulations.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Three things?
- 18:49Speaker 2: All right, Okay, let's go. It's just Stepter eight o'clock
- 18:51Speaker 2: on this Friday morning, Happy Friday. Ricky's got those three things.
- 18:54Speaker 3: We're looking at snow and ice this weekend. So here's
- 18:57Speaker 3: what we know right now. Models are showing different acut
- 19:00Speaker 3: emulations of snow and ice, so we don't know for
- 19:02Speaker 3: sure what to expect with that yet, but we do
- 19:05Speaker 3: one hundred percent no, we are getting bad weather this weekend.
- 19:08Speaker 3: We know to expect snow and ice or a mix
- 19:10Speaker 3: of both this weekend here in Middle Tennessee. It all
- 19:13Speaker 3: just depends on where you are. We also know that
- 19:15Speaker 3: it's going to be extremely cold. It's it started today
- 19:19Speaker 3: with how cold it's dipped to it's gonna be cold
- 19:22Speaker 3: through early next week. Winter Storm Morning has been issued
- 19:26Speaker 3: for most of Middle Tennessee that starts tonight at six
- 19:29Speaker 3: pm and ends six pm Sunday. Snow or ice will
- 19:33Speaker 3: start early tomorrow morning. Is what it's looking like right now.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Please stay home this weekend if you can. Don't be
- 19:38Speaker 3: driving around, especially if it ends up being.
- 19:39Speaker 4: A lot of ice. Because even if you think that
- 19:42Speaker 4: you can drive in it.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Even if you are maybe a transplant from somewhere else
- 19:47Speaker 3: like the North, like me in Jersey, I was like, ah,
- 19:50Speaker 3: were driving so all the time. It is so very
- 19:53Speaker 3: different here. We are not prepared for these kinds of things.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Please do not drive if you do not have to.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Harry Styles is going on tour guys.
- 20:04Speaker 4: I'm so excited. The announcement was made yesterday on his
- 20:07Speaker 4: social media.
- 20:08Speaker 3: He's doing multi night residencies in different cities across the world.
- 20:12Speaker 3: It's called Together Together, That's what the tour is called.
- 20:16Speaker 3: The only city in the United States with a residency
- 20:18Speaker 3: is New York City. He's going to play at Madison
- 20:20Speaker 3: Square Garden for thirty nights.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Wow.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Thirty nights scattered from August through October of this year,
- 20:27Speaker 3: with special guest Jamie XX. This means that New York
- 20:30Speaker 3: City is also getting two Harry Ween shows on October
- 20:34Speaker 3: thirtieth and thirty first.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Which is gonna be a lot of fun.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I know a lot of fans are going to specifically
- 20:39Speaker 3: buy tickets for those nights because they're going to be insane.
- 20:43Speaker 4: You can sign up for pre sell tickets on his website.
- 20:45Speaker 5: Hopefully you get them.
- 20:46Speaker 4: It's gonna be tough. It's gonna be really tough. I
- 20:49Speaker 4: know a lot of people are hoping that maybe he'll
- 20:50Speaker 4: announce more dates in different areas. Don't expect that.
- 20:54Speaker 3: If you want to go, be heavily prepared to get
- 20:57Speaker 3: those tickets.
- 20:58Speaker 4: And Oreo and Marvel they have a new collab.
- 21:01Speaker 3: They've made a color changing Oreo so the stuffing in
- 21:04Speaker 3: the middle turns from gray to blue, which is really cool.
- 21:07Speaker 3: They're launching nationwide on February second. They have special edition
- 21:11Speaker 3: packs that have thirty two different embossed designs from different franchises,
- 21:15Speaker 3: so the Avengers, Spider Man, x Men, Fantastic Four, all.
- 21:19Speaker 4: The fun stuff for Marvel. Presale starts on Monday.
- 21:21Speaker 3: If you want to go ahead and get the pre
- 21:22Speaker 3: sale because there's a game attached to it where you
- 21:24Speaker 3: can win prizes.
- 21:26Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 21:28Speaker 4: need to know.
- 21:28Speaker 2: The people over at Oreo could really just kick back
- 21:30Speaker 2: and put their feet up, because Oreos are classic and
- 21:32Speaker 2: they're the best. But no, they work harder than anybody.
- 21:35Speaker 4: There's so many different flavors, so many different designs.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Every day there's a new kind of area.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I know wild Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Time for the leftovers. We do this on Fridays about
- 21:48Speaker 2: this time. We each get thirty seconds. We go around
- 21:50Speaker 2: the room and present an unused topic, something we brought
- 21:54Speaker 2: to the table this week just didn't have time for.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Uh and UH.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Customarily Ricky Sanchez starts us off first. You've got thirty seconds.
- 22:02Speaker 4: All right. The new viral trend from Low's.
- 22:05Speaker 3: It's actually not so new because they did this last year,
- 22:07Speaker 3: but it's a different color this time.
- 22:09Speaker 4: The little tiny pink Low's buckets. They're everywhere right now.
- 22:13Speaker 4: I love those Pink is the new color this year.
- 22:16Speaker 4: They're teeny tiny.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Uh.
- 22:18Speaker 3: It's zero point four courts. The buckets they're just two dollars.
- 22:23Speaker 3: You can use them for food, you can use them
- 22:25Speaker 3: for your coffee. You can use them for anything. People
- 22:28Speaker 3: are using them for Valentines this year, which is really cute,
- 22:31Speaker 3: like stuffing them with little valentines for everybody in their class.
- 22:35Speaker 3: A lot of people, like I said, use them for
- 22:37Speaker 3: their coffees. But it is the new thing that everybody's
- 22:40Speaker 3: just buying them all up at Low's. So if you
- 22:42Speaker 3: want to be on trend, head on over and buy
- 22:44Speaker 3: yourself a mini bucket.
- 22:45Speaker 4: All right, I'll go, okay, Zach.
- 22:49Speaker 6: So this shocking number of money that airlines are apparently
- 22:52Speaker 6: saving on fuel every single year because so many people
- 22:56Speaker 6: now are on GOLP once like ozimpic with GOV.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Apparently they say five hundred and eighty million.
- 23:02Speaker 6: Dollars last year on fuel because right now about one
- 23:05Speaker 6: in eight Americans are using GLP one medications to one weight.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Yeah, so the statistic is one in eight.
- 23:11Speaker 6: So because a lot of people are losing weight, that
- 23:13Speaker 6: it's costing less than fuel. And apparently I just learned
- 23:16Speaker 6: this that they've been obsessed with like cutting weight on
- 23:18Speaker 6: airlines for so long that they would even like remove
- 23:21Speaker 6: olives from salads to save money because of the extra
- 23:24Speaker 6: weight that the olives would have on the plane.
- 23:27Speaker 3: I'm not gonna say anything because these people are making
- 23:30Speaker 3: so much money on these airlines.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Yeah, this makes me so mad.
- 23:34Speaker 6: I started thinking about, like, would you be okay if
- 23:36Speaker 6: your price for your ticket depending on how much you weighed.
- 23:40Speaker 4: I'm okay with what they're charging right now for me
- 23:42Speaker 4: to go No, what are you talking about?
- 23:45Speaker 5: Oh damn, that's crazy, Kevin Well.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I think I'm just going to further upset Ricky here
- 23:50Speaker 2: with my diagnosis. But I just I read about something
- 23:52Speaker 2: and I diagnosed myself with something called IMS, which stands
- 23:56Speaker 2: for irritable male syndrome. It's a real thing. Being a
- 23:59Speaker 2: grumpy old man is real. Apparently, after the age of forty,
- 24:03Speaker 2: your testosteron level start dropping and medical experts acknowledge. Irritable
- 24:06Speaker 2: male syndrome is a legitimate cluster of symptoms affecting aging men.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Starts in your early forties and could last forever. And
- 24:13Speaker 2: I have been finding myself getting much more irritable lately,
- 24:16Speaker 2: and I didn't know if it's because I'm doing dry January.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I thought maybe that's why, but no, it's a legitimate
- 24:21Speaker 2: thing called IMS.
- 24:22Speaker 3: You know who deserves to be irritable and angry about everything?
- 24:26Speaker 4: Then you guys deserve that.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I'm really happy to hear you.
- 24:31Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 24:32Speaker 4: I don't know how you manage data day.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Over to our side.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Absolutely, thanks guys the leftovers.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I'm so glad you agree with me.
- 24:40Speaker 5: Ricky, thank you.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Five Happy Friday friends. It's time for the Daily double Tap.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I stumbled upon this video today and just the guy
- 24:49Speaker 2: nails it. He's one hundred percent right.
- 24:52Speaker 3: It's our version as millennials of don't stop believing, right,
- 24:55Speaker 3: that's the whole idea here.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Yes, exactly, Okay, ever, wonder what it was? Here we
- 25:01Speaker 2: go today's Daily double Tube.
- 25:02Speaker 9: I think it's time to admit that mister Bright's side
- 25:05Speaker 9: is don't stop believing for millennials, right right, Like you
- 25:09Speaker 9: put that on anywhere, everyone's singing it. Everyone knows the lyrics.
- 25:12Speaker 9: They're getting in a good mood. If you don't like
- 25:13Speaker 9: that song, you don't like joy. Mister Bright's side is
- 25:16Speaker 9: don't stop believing for millennials'.
- 25:32Speaker 2: One thousand percent, one thousand percent.
- 25:34Speaker 5: I have to agree with him.
- 25:35Speaker 6: I feel like I heard it every single wedding reception too,
- 25:38Speaker 6: and everybody's in the middle of the floor like dancing
- 25:41Speaker 6: and singing to it.
- 25:41Speaker 1: They know it.
- 25:42Speaker 4: I immediately started mouthing the word yes, yes, I am
- 25:45Speaker 4: an agreeance.
- 25:45Speaker 2: And it's usually played towards the end of a wedding.
- 25:48Speaker 2: People are like just hyped. It's just it really gets
- 25:51Speaker 2: everybody going to play it. It's sports games, I mean
- 25:53Speaker 2: it is without it's an anthem for sure.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Yeah, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on the
- 25:59Speaker 1: river
