- 1:33Speaker 2: So yet it's too bad, But what did you expect?
- 1:36Speaker 5: It's a podcast Come twenty five Whist Souls.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Hey walk home here, Eddie, thank you. We have Minnesota
- 1:45Speaker 1: coach PJ. Fleck coming up big win over Nebraska on
- 1:50Speaker 1: Friday night. He's also somebody that I wouldn't mind seeing
- 1:53Speaker 1: the Arkansas head coach. So I in a back backward
- 1:58Speaker 1: way slide that in there, and I don't want to
- 1:59Speaker 1: like put them on the spot or.
- 2:00Speaker 6: Anyth Yeah, yeah, why would you do that?
- 2:02Speaker 1: And I feel like right now that Arkansas job because
- 2:06Speaker 1: we did see someone else lose their job the Florida
- 2:08Speaker 1: head coach, Yeah, Napier Piero, Yeah, which we saw coming.
- 2:11Speaker 1: But he won, which is weird because he was like,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I bet his next loss he gets fired. But it
- 2:16Speaker 1: was like, yeah, you barely be in Missisippi State, so we're
- 2:18Speaker 1: gonna go oua and fire you would.
- 2:20Speaker 6: Mississippi State's no slouch, Like they're not a horrible team.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a solid team. Well, I think they have
- 2:26Speaker 1: two wins.
- 2:28Speaker 6: I thought that they started four to.
- 2:29Speaker 1: O Mississippi State. Maybe they did. I don't know. Maybe
- 2:31Speaker 1: I'm just taking every other year in the history of
- 2:32Speaker 1: Misissippi State. That's fair.
- 2:34Speaker 6: That's fair.
- 2:35Speaker 1: So okay, I I think Patrino is probably in the
- 2:42Speaker 1: same spot he was the week before. I think a
- 2:45Speaker 1: lot of the fans of Arkansas now want Patrino because
- 2:47Speaker 1: they know we're not gonna get aybody else because there's
- 2:48Speaker 1: eighty four jobs open, and our fan base is so
- 2:51Speaker 1: delusional that they're like, we want James Franklin. Well, now
- 2:53Speaker 1: that you're seeing you're seeing every job open up. The
- 2:56Speaker 1: Florida's gonna be open, You're gonna see LSU probably open up.
- 3:02Speaker 1: You have Arkansas. Listen, if Lane Kiffin goes over to Florida,
- 3:06Speaker 1: then you got Ole miss again. The carousel is gonna
- 3:08Speaker 1: be insane. And so what I think you're seeing is
- 3:11Speaker 1: a bunch of Arkansas fans go from from We want
- 3:13Speaker 1: Bear Bryant or we want Nick Saban to go in. Well,
- 3:17Speaker 1: Ptreno's cap is close, so we'll take him. Uh, it's
- 3:22Speaker 1: gonna be interesting.
- 3:23Speaker 6: Yeah, Virginia Tech local mistate cla U c l A
- 3:27Speaker 6: all tho.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Uab that Alex Mortensen who was Mort's kid from ESPN
- 3:34Speaker 1: Mortson's pastway, But Alex Mortson play quarterback at Arkansas.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So we got all these Arkansas kids out there.
- 3:40Speaker 6: They're all out there doing great things they do outside
- 3:42Speaker 6: of Arkansas.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Arkansas.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so let's go around the room and then
- 3:48Speaker 1: talk about our favorite teams. We played Texas A and
- 3:50Speaker 1: M and it was a good game and we lost
- 3:52Speaker 1: is a one score loss. Our defense we don't have one,
- 3:56Speaker 1: but our offense looked awesome. You can tell the team
- 3:59Speaker 1: plays harder than they did earlier in the year. I mean,
- 4:01Speaker 1: Petrino maybe the guy I was just pointed we lost.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I was happy we covered. I'm just I'm happy we
- 4:09Speaker 1: didn't embarrass ourselves because we played Notre Dame. They embarrassed us.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Outside of that, well, I guess Memphis was kind of
- 4:14Speaker 6: embarrassing too, But I feel like every game is close.
- 4:17Speaker 1: We fumbled to lose the Old Miss game. Yep, we
- 4:19Speaker 1: fumbled to lose. It was the other game before. No,
- 4:25Speaker 1: we fumbled a Memphis game. Memphis, Yeah, that's it. Who
- 4:29Speaker 1: cares anyway, I'm done. We lost, that's it. It sucks.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I mean the Panthers one, that's my second team.
- 4:33Speaker 6: That's right. They're on a roll, right. They just keep pounding.
- 4:36Speaker 1: We're pounding, babe. That's the thing about us. We just
- 4:38Speaker 1: keep pounding.
- 4:38Speaker 2: That Arkansas game though, Like what was a two hour
- 4:40Speaker 2: delay on that? Yeah, it was bad storm, that's why
- 4:42Speaker 2: we didn't go. Yeah it was raining, but then once
- 4:44Speaker 2: the game started it was great weather. And then the
- 4:46Speaker 2: fourth quarter like came back the rain.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeahme with like thirty seconds left, and you're going, do
- 4:52Speaker 1: not call this game because at thirty seconds, make everybody
- 4:55Speaker 1: wait for thirty seconds. I got into a Twitter fight. Well,
- 4:59Speaker 1: because if I'm why a game, I'm just on Twitter.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I don't twitter fight near as much as I used
- 5:03Speaker 1: to something on Twitter that much. But when I'm watching
- 5:06Speaker 1: a game, I'm just watching tweets as the game is happening. Yeah,
- 5:09Speaker 1: and so this dude out of nowhere, like I'm not
- 5:12Speaker 1: even tweeting. I tweeted earlier in the week because Dan
- 5:16Speaker 1: Mullen said there was a zero point zero chance that
- 5:19Speaker 1: he was interested in the Arkansas job and that they
- 5:21Speaker 1: should go and hire and Gus males On. And I
- 5:22Speaker 1: thought it was hilarious because it was in a response
- 5:24Speaker 1: to somebody. I like Dan Mullen. He's been on the
- 5:26Speaker 1: show before, and so I wrote, that's hilarious zero point
- 5:31Speaker 1: zero and I like Dan Mullen. So some dude like
- 5:33Speaker 1: two days later says, has mister Robbones ever played a
- 5:37Speaker 1: sport in his life other than pickleballs? And so, you
- 5:41Speaker 1: know what, it's Saturday. I'm in the mix. Let's go,
- 5:44Speaker 1: let's go. I'll fight somebody. And I have no bottom.
- 5:47Speaker 1: There's no low because on Twitter it's all low. So
- 5:52Speaker 1: I write back, Hey, I played your mom. I was disgusting.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Whoa because there's nothing more juvenile. And also that's the
- 6:00Speaker 1: least personal joke you can tell as that your mama
- 6:02Speaker 1: joke because everybody knows not actually about your momm It's
- 6:04Speaker 1: like an eighth grade thing that you just say, yeah,
- 6:06Speaker 1: I don't know his mom.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but if that joke's directed towards you, you always
- 6:10Speaker 2: think it's about your mom.
- 6:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Yeah, well that was just like the lowest hanging fruit
- 6:14Speaker 1: on Anybody is just going, yeah, your mom's ugly, because
- 6:17Speaker 1: that's not even really a thing. So I say I
- 6:20Speaker 1: played your so let me reset it back up, he said,
- 6:23Speaker 1: as mister Barbibones ever played sport in his life other
- 6:25Speaker 1: than pickleballs, I say I played your mom. Was disgusting,
- 6:29Speaker 1: he said. Dude, you have female issues and you bleed feminism. Lol.
- 6:33Speaker 1: You wish you could be in my mother? What he did?
- 6:36Speaker 6: Did he really say that in your mother? Yes, in
- 6:38Speaker 6: your mother?
- 6:40Speaker 1: And it gets crazier, dude, it gets this loco franco. Dude,
- 6:44Speaker 1: it gets crazier. Let me read it again, because that's
- 6:46Speaker 1: what I thought. He I wish I could be in
- 6:49Speaker 1: his mom.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I'd have to read that like five times.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Make sure you know, because the different even if he
- 6:55Speaker 1: had said it with my mom, that's different then in
- 6:58Speaker 1: my mom.
- 6:59Speaker 2: And That's what I'm talking about. When you say your mother,
- 7:01Speaker 2: your mama. They take it personal.
- 7:04Speaker 1: But even then you get say, yeah, you wish you
- 7:06Speaker 1: could be with my mom, but you're a blank. This
- 7:09Speaker 1: is different, not you wish you could be in my mother?
- 7:12Speaker 1: What that's so freaking weird?
- 7:14Speaker 6: Is wild?
- 7:15Speaker 1: And then he wrote you're not too hard to find
- 7:18Speaker 1: my guy.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Oh oh that's weird.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I don't like that.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah, so then I put Bro calls me out. I respond,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and he hits me with the you weren't too hard
- 7:29Speaker 1: to find? And so I just took a screenshot of
- 7:32Speaker 1: that and posted back on Twitter like I don't mind
- 7:34Speaker 1: getting into it with these idiots, but I just thought
- 7:37Speaker 1: the two things happened. One you wish you could be
- 7:41Speaker 1: in my mother? You're like, no, no, no, I don't bizarre.
- 7:44Speaker 2: It's a joke, man.
- 7:45Speaker 1: And then two, you aren't too hard to find. When
- 7:48Speaker 1: somebody goes to like a physical threat on Twitter, ultimate
- 7:51Speaker 1: whiss yeah like you get no, no worsier. Then he
- 7:55Speaker 1: calls me out, I answer with your mom joke, and
- 7:58Speaker 1: then he goes, you wish you could be in and
- 8:01Speaker 1: I'll find you, Okay.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Honest question, many, what are you gonna be done with
- 8:06Speaker 2: these Twitter fights?
- 8:07Speaker 1: I don't do him very often.
- 8:08Speaker 6: He's been a while, hasn't it first one? All football
- 8:11Speaker 6: season first?
- 8:12Speaker 5: Or yeah?
- 8:14Speaker 6: I think so.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I don't mind them because it's fictional. And secondly, I
- 8:20Speaker 1: did not talk to that guy. That guy comes to me.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Here's the problem with calling out the devil. He might
- 8:24Speaker 1: show up and I'm the devil. So don't call me
- 8:27Speaker 1: out because I will go. I will fight you, and
- 8:29Speaker 1: then I will post a whole thing and show everybody
- 8:31Speaker 1: how stupid you are. And yeah, it's way below me,
- 8:33Speaker 1: it's beneath me. I shouldn't do it.
- 8:35Speaker 2: It is I shouldn't do it, and you continue to
- 8:37Speaker 2: do it.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't mind it.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Is it sheer entertainment like the game, and I'm gonna
- 8:46Speaker 6: take it out on somebody.
- 8:49Speaker 1: And now I was already on Twitter. I had nothing
- 8:52Speaker 1: to do with this dude. He out of nowhere calls
- 8:54Speaker 1: me out, and so it's like, all right, I'll dance
- 8:58Speaker 1: like you walk on the dance floor. I'm over here
- 9:01Speaker 1: dancing about myself. I'm dancing uhappily by myself. But you
- 9:03Speaker 1: come over and you're like, you're a bad dancer to me. Okay,
- 9:07Speaker 1: your mom, And so that's that was it.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I wonder if his mom's hot.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Well, because he turns out.
- 9:14Speaker 6: In my mother that that's crazy.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Hey, it turns out and a weird turn of events.
- 9:20Speaker 1: His like screenshot his mom's in it.
- 9:23Speaker 6: No makes sense.
- 9:26Speaker 2: You don't wish, I don't wish.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I don't wish with people. Well, it kept going to
- 9:34Speaker 1: like what that wasn't the end? Well no, that was
- 9:36Speaker 1: like the harsh part when he started threatening me. But
- 9:39Speaker 1: I mean, dude, I have no bottom when it comes
- 9:42Speaker 1: to this, So I'll fight you if I'm in. I
- 9:45Speaker 1: don't I'm not like off our Twitter fight. But if
- 9:47Speaker 1: I'm in and for no reason somebody comes to me
- 9:49Speaker 1: and I'm losing the game, I'm already bad. I'm like, well,
- 9:51Speaker 1: if you again, if you want to dance, I can
- 9:54Speaker 1: watch to see. So let's go.
- 9:56Speaker 2: You're a dancing champ.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Oh my goodness. So yeah, that's what's up.
- 10:01Speaker 2: So you never answered the question did you play any
- 10:03Speaker 2: other sport other than pickleballs?
- 10:05Speaker 1: Well, in high school pickleballs, pile balls and what what
- 10:09Speaker 1: the thing too is he makes like he makes like
- 10:11Speaker 1: little sports youtubes. Then he has like he follows more
- 10:15Speaker 1: people than follow him. And I was sure to note
- 10:17Speaker 1: that in the back.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Okay, this is this is a good little follow up question.
- 10:20Speaker 2: So when you get into these fights, you want a
- 10:21Speaker 2: little background too.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I go and research everything about them. I'm following links, dude,
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'm going full investigator reporter on everything they're about.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Because you're like, who am I fighting exactly?
- 10:31Speaker 1: Like where is the vulnerability? He's putting out like albums
- 10:34Speaker 1: and I'm like, dude, and he comes at me again
- 10:37Speaker 1: and I'm like, dude, every single thing you're trying to do,
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm better than you had. And I say that to him.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I said, keep making the little youtubes.
- 10:43Speaker 2: This is after you kept saying this is that queen?
- 10:46Speaker 1: Keep coming to me.
- 10:48Speaker 2: See Twitter is interesting though, because it's not like a
- 10:50Speaker 2: text where you get to see like bubbles and like
- 10:52Speaker 2: the conversation did every tweet come instantaneously? Like no, quick?
- 10:57Speaker 1: It was back and forth and then about three in
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm invested and I'm anxious to see how this turns out.
- 11:02Speaker 1: He threatened me again and.
- 11:03Speaker 2: What was that one?
- 11:04Speaker 1: I don't remember, I don't I just don't take it seriously.
- 11:08Speaker 1: So he threw my guy in there though, Man, yeah yeah, yeah,
- 11:11Speaker 1: my guy, my guy. What someone says my guy that
- 11:16Speaker 1: like only douchebags say that, yeah, right, or girls like douchebags?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Who who are they have? Like this fake sense of
- 11:25Speaker 1: masculinity that they're trying to promote that is actually insecurity
- 11:28Speaker 1: and I'm the most insecure person in the world in
- 11:30Speaker 1: different ways.
- 11:32Speaker 6: But yeah, that was don't be that guy, my guy,
- 11:34Speaker 6: don't be that guy back.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You're not that guy. You're not that guy.
- 11:37Speaker 6: You're not that guy.
- 11:39Speaker 1: You're not that guy. Remember that.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Yep?
- 11:41Speaker 6: Was it like at the grocery store or whatever it was?
- 11:45Speaker 6: Don't be that guy. I'm not that guy.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I was gonna.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I don't know what you guys are talking about, but
- 11:51Speaker 2: it's funny.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Oh you haven't. No, he says, there's another threat. Well,
- 11:56Speaker 1: it keeps going. I mean you mean reading more.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I mean if you feel comfortable to go through it.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I like hearing it.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yeah, if I feel comfortable, I did it, and then
- 12:04Speaker 1: I didn't take it down.
- 12:05Speaker 6: It's out there.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I could have easily taken it down. Let's see has
- 12:10Speaker 1: if a pick a ball played your mom is disgusting. Dude,
- 12:13Speaker 1: You're not hard to find, my guy. I'm better than
- 12:16Speaker 1: you in every part of your life. I said, I'm
- 12:17Speaker 1: even a better athlete. Better looking. You make your little
- 12:19Speaker 1: web videos makes sense, dude, Kisses and see you soon.
- 12:25Speaker 1: That was his next thing.
- 12:25Speaker 2: He said, he said that to you and see you soon. Yeah.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Yeah. And then I say you could call somebody out.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Then you get rattle when they respond. Classic talking tough
- 12:33Speaker 1: guy exactly how this often goes down with people who
- 12:35Speaker 1: have done nothing but talk something. I like it. And
- 12:39Speaker 1: then his response was Bobby Boners loves Boners.
- 12:44Speaker 2: And we're back in middle school.
- 12:46Speaker 6: This guy's all over the play.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Yeah. So that was Saturday night, and I would and
- 12:52Speaker 1: I get, you know, people talking to me and negatively
- 12:54Speaker 1: online a lot. But if we're losing and I'm already
- 12:59Speaker 1: like almost triggered by losing the game, and then you're
- 13:03Speaker 1: gonna come at me, Like I said, I'll dance. I'm
- 13:08Speaker 1: not better than it. I'm not gonna fight on Instagram.
- 13:11Speaker 1: This is Twitter is like an alley. That Twitter's like
- 13:15Speaker 1: a back alley that's where the fights happen.
- 13:18Speaker 2: It definitely has that tone.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, if you're in the alley, you know,
- 13:21Speaker 1: you know who's coming out, where they're coming out. You
- 13:23Speaker 1: just better be ready. And you know what, sometimes you
- 13:24Speaker 1: go into the alley to mix it up. Instagram's out
- 13:26Speaker 1: the alley, tiktoks out the alley. I don't do crap
- 13:28Speaker 1: over there like this on Twitter though. On mine, in
- 13:30Speaker 1: my own business, I'm in the alley smoking a little crack,
- 13:32Speaker 1: you know, doing my whole things are doing an alley, Yeah,
- 13:36Speaker 1: doing alley stuff.
- 13:37Speaker 6: Watching.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, the guy comes at me. So that was part
- 13:42Speaker 1: of my my weekend.
- 13:44Speaker 7: Man.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Saturday, he like came at me twice. He was like,
- 13:47Speaker 1: you're not hard to find, Okay, find me.
- 13:50Speaker 6: Does it say where he lives or now?
- 13:52Speaker 2: Uh?
- 13:52Speaker 1: Yeah, little rock. I know it didn't, but I found it.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Oh your research.
- 13:55Speaker 1: You do not know everything about this dude.
- 13:57Speaker 6: You have his address?
- 13:58Speaker 1: Yes, I know where you live, my gate, I know
- 14:01Speaker 1: where he is.
- 14:02Speaker 6: My guy.
- 14:02Speaker 2: It's just funny, man, when my team loses, I go
- 14:04Speaker 2: for a walk. I'm like, I'm going to just take
- 14:08Speaker 2: a walk.
- 14:08Speaker 1: This was mid loss. This was while we were lo
- 14:10Speaker 1: We're down ten at this point. And again I wasn't
- 14:15Speaker 1: looking for a fight that I found me. Yep, so
- 14:18Speaker 1: that's what's up our parlay. I don't know who messed that.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Was me, man, It was yeah, that was me. My
- 14:26Speaker 2: Texas Tech. They did not only did they not cover.
- 14:28Speaker 2: They didn't.
- 14:28Speaker 1: They didn't win. Yeah, so I had did I have
- 14:32Speaker 1: Ohio State?
- 14:34Speaker 2: You had Oregon domination from both of you guys.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Oh the Oregon Rutgers thing.
- 14:38Speaker 6: That was over two minutes.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Yeah, Oregon minus seventeen and a half at Rutgers. Oregon
- 14:44Speaker 1: wins that. Ohio State minus twenty four and a half
- 14:46Speaker 1: at Wisconsin. Kevin hit that Eddie Texas Tech minus seven
- 14:51Speaker 1: and a half at Arizona State.
- 14:51Speaker 2: There the state came out. Yeah, pretty good. So that
- 14:54Speaker 2: quarterback's pretty good.
- 14:55Speaker 6: Yeah, it turns out what they needed out.
- 14:57Speaker 2: That quarterback is a difference maker.
- 14:59Speaker 6: I was, I mean texta second is a good team?
- 15:01Speaker 4: Right?
- 15:02Speaker 1: I did not watch the Cowboys game at all.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Oh really.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I took my wife to a movie yesterday.
- 15:07Speaker 2: That's good.
- 15:08Speaker 1: She was like, hey, I'm feeling pretty good. And as
- 15:10Speaker 1: you guys know, all three of you when you're pregnant,
- 15:13Speaker 1: wife's like, hey, I'm actually feeling like up to something.
- 15:15Speaker 1: You just do it yep. And so she's like, hey,
- 15:19Speaker 1: is there any chance you'll go to a movie at
- 15:20Speaker 1: some point? She was like, you can pick the time.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I know you have certain games and the only movie
- 15:24Speaker 1: we could go to that wasn't late. I mean there
- 15:26Speaker 1: was like a six o'clock and then there was like
- 15:29Speaker 1: a noon. I didn't want to go to the six.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I didn't want to go to the noon because I
- 15:33Speaker 1: didn't want to miss that first round of game that
- 15:34Speaker 1: the game kind of sucked, it bad. Yeah, so we
- 15:37Speaker 1: picked like the three, which meant, Mike, we got to stop.
- 15:40Speaker 1: We gotta do something about these previews. It was forty
- 15:42Speaker 1: five minutes previewski.
- 15:44Speaker 6: It's usually like thirty. It is terrible.
- 15:45Speaker 1: It was like it with at least thirty. I put
- 15:48Speaker 1: my phone down at thirty and it kept going for
- 15:49Speaker 1: a little bit because then the Pepsi thing came on.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and it's like the roller coaster ride into
- 15:55Speaker 1: the movie yep, yep. So I did get to watch
- 15:57Speaker 1: the end of that first round of games, but we
- 15:59Speaker 1: went and I missed the whole second second slate, so
- 16:02Speaker 1: I did not get to watch the Cowboys.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Those were all good games too, like the.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Just tell me my guy, just tell me to score.
- 16:09Speaker 2: The Cowboys Cowboys wasn't a great game, but like that
- 16:12Speaker 2: Packers game, the Broncos Giants, the Broncos Giants.
- 16:15Speaker 1: We're doing favorite teams right now. That's why I just
- 16:17Speaker 1: said Cowboys, Cowboys.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Dude, great game, man like, great game. Cowboys look great again.
- 16:24Speaker 2: I don't know why, but there.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Was alert come across that jayde Daniels got hurt.
- 16:28Speaker 6: Yeah, it's hamstring.
- 16:29Speaker 1: When what part of the game towards the third quarter?
- 16:32Speaker 7: Quarter?
- 16:32Speaker 1: Was it out of hand when he got hurt? Was
- 16:34Speaker 1: the game over already? No?
- 16:36Speaker 2: I think we had a fifteen It.
- 16:37Speaker 6: Was getting there though. I mean the Cowboys handled that
- 16:39Speaker 6: game from beginning to end.
- 16:41Speaker 1: It was so that.
- 16:42Speaker 6: I mean that doesn't change the game.
- 16:44Speaker 2: No, not necessarily, no, no, no, but but yeah, like
- 16:47Speaker 2: they sacked him and then he just landed awkwardly on
- 16:50Speaker 2: his knee. I guess his hamstring.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Maybe it was I read hamstring. Get an MRI today.
- 16:54Speaker 1: How the Cowboys look look great?
- 16:56Speaker 2: Dude? The defense look good again. I mean, Dak is
- 16:58Speaker 2: playing out of his mind, like he's playing great, especially
- 17:01Speaker 2: with CD on one side, George Pickens on this side.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Like the out CD look awesome.
- 17:07Speaker 6: Two touchdowns I saw one. I don't watch the whole thing.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Maybe I'm not the Cowboys fan here.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe one touchdown, but it was awesome. He scored early.
- 17:13Speaker 2: He like jogged into the end zone. Because he was
- 17:15Speaker 2: all wide open, felt healthy, felt healthy, dude. Great. Everything
- 17:19Speaker 2: was really really good. I loved every minute. It was
- 17:21Speaker 2: one of those where you can just relax after like
- 17:23Speaker 2: the third quarter.
- 17:24Speaker 1: You like those.
- 17:25Speaker 6: Love it?
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, love it. I love stress free games. I don't
- 17:28Speaker 2: want to be stressed out all the way to the
- 17:29Speaker 2: end and then something maybe lose it.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I like a game that's always at a two possession lead.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I don't want to listen if we're playing Montana State,
- 17:40Speaker 1: that's boring because we're up forty to nothing in the
- 17:43Speaker 1: second quarter. I like it we're always up to like
- 17:45Speaker 1: at least nine, like between nine to thirteen points, because
- 17:49Speaker 1: you know, one pick six doesn't change the game. You're
- 17:52Speaker 1: not losing after a pick six, right, Like the perfect
- 17:55Speaker 1: game for me is that being up two possessions like
- 17:59Speaker 1: Tech the Tech His A and M version of This
- 18:01Speaker 1: Weekend is the perfect game for me. If I'm text
- 18:03Speaker 1: A M. If you're an AM, yeah, okay, you're up
- 18:05Speaker 1: to they're drive and it's kind of exciting because you're like,
- 18:08Speaker 1: oh God, but then you know, yeah, they got to
- 18:10Speaker 1: get this and then they got to have some sort
- 18:12Speaker 1: of Jesus miracle come down and happen.
- 18:13Speaker 6: Yeah, so it's interesting enough to keep you intrigued. Also,
- 18:16Speaker 6: like I'm still like.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you're okay, because yeah, I'm not going to fight
- 18:19Speaker 1: anybody because we're winning by that's like Twitter, I'm my guy,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I get into the alley. You went to the Patriots
- 18:25Speaker 1: game yesterday?
- 18:26Speaker 5: I did.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:26Speaker 6: We showed up a few minutes after the game started,
- 18:29Speaker 6: and it was a little bit nerve wracking at first. Yeah,
- 18:32Speaker 6: I mean they were down three to nothing, then ten three,
- 18:34Speaker 6: and I was like, oh man, and then it was like, oh, yeah, actually,
- 18:36Speaker 6: we're just a lot better than this team. Let's turn
- 18:38Speaker 6: this on a little bit.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Dude.
- 18:39Speaker 6: He went off Drake, Oh my god.
- 18:41Speaker 7: I know.
- 18:41Speaker 6: And you know what I realized too, I had no
- 18:43Speaker 6: idea his whole Like I think he had sixteen completions
- 18:45Speaker 6: in a row and the ninety one percent throwing percentage
- 18:49Speaker 6: and all that. I had no idea. When you're at
- 18:50Speaker 6: the game, you don't realize these things. I feel like,
- 18:53Speaker 6: and then you go home and you're like and you
- 18:54Speaker 6: watch on TV. You know the storylines. I know you
- 18:56Speaker 6: played a good game. You don't have the info.
- 18:58Speaker 2: You don't have someone telling you all the info like
- 19:00Speaker 2: on TV. Yeah, it's like they're just gonna tell you
- 19:02Speaker 2: first down.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Yeah, And there's like what sucks going to a game
- 19:07Speaker 1: is that you don't feel as educated, no, because you
- 19:13Speaker 1: don't know if somebody's really hurt. If they come out,
- 19:16Speaker 1: you might watch them walk into the blue tint. You
- 19:18Speaker 1: don't get to hear about. You know, their aunt's at
- 19:21Speaker 1: the game.
- 19:23Speaker 6: It's his grandma's first game, exactly. One thing about the
- 19:27Speaker 6: blue tent that was funny though obviously there was a
- 19:28Speaker 6: lot of Patriots fans there. But when Drake May went
- 19:31Speaker 6: in for like two players because he hit his head
- 19:33Speaker 6: and you hurt, I couldn't see where he was at
- 19:35Speaker 6: We're down below with the babies, and then all we
- 19:38Speaker 6: heard was the crowd just go crazy. What the heck
- 19:40Speaker 6: is happening? Going back in the game, like you would
- 19:43Speaker 6: think we were at Gillette.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Was it more Pats fans?
- 19:47Speaker 1: Probably?
- 19:48Speaker 6: Wow, because oh it was a lot.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I woke up on Sunday and they're like, well, let
- 19:51Speaker 2: me look at tickets because usually you look day of
- 19:53Speaker 2: and the tickets are pretty cheap. Like it was funny
- 19:55Speaker 2: to see the prices. It was more expensive to sit
- 19:58Speaker 2: on the Patriots side of the stadium. It was a
- 20:00Speaker 2: cinema time.
- 20:01Speaker 6: Yeah, we got tickets for thirty five bucks.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Dude, nice, pretty good. My other favorite team, uh, they lost,
- 20:07Speaker 1: but it was close. My other favorite team is anybody
- 20:09Speaker 1: who plays Texas and so, hey, Mike, you do. Guys
- 20:12Speaker 1: did not look good.
- 20:13Speaker 6: That's a win, but a loss in my book. I mean,
- 20:16Speaker 6: offense looks horrendous or no chemistry.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Our defense is amazing, our kicker won the game, but
- 20:22Speaker 2: we look awful.
- 20:23Speaker 1: It ended up going to overtime because I it was
- 20:28Speaker 1: getting I was watching it on YouTube TV, and for
- 20:31Speaker 1: some reason, I feel like I'm watching it on bad
- 20:33Speaker 1: Luck comes rooting hard against Texas, and so I was like, nope,
- 20:37Speaker 1: I'm just gonna check the score later. And then I
- 20:39Speaker 1: saw Texas one on a field goal because I watch
- 20:41Speaker 1: it right up until the end of the fourth quarter. Yeah,
- 20:43Speaker 1: they went for the touchdown, we blocked them, and then
- 20:45Speaker 1: just kicked the field goal. I really hate that for Kentucky.
- 20:49Speaker 1: My guys over here, one of your helmets helmets about
- 20:53Speaker 1: to fall off right there.
- 20:54Speaker 6: Yeah, I'll fix it, my guy.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I hung out with coach lot Poll this weekend. Oh yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: how did that go good?
- 21:01Speaker 2: I like him.
- 21:02Speaker 1: I don't give up too much of his business because
- 21:03Speaker 1: I don't know, you don't know what's up. But he's
- 21:06Speaker 1: Kansas at football coach. And yeah, they were in town
- 21:09Speaker 1: for a couple of days and hit me up, and
- 21:12Speaker 1: then we went and had lunch and hung out. And
- 21:14Speaker 1: that's cool talk some business own, a little business man.
- 21:18Speaker 1: We just hung out. Who paid well, he did because
- 21:22Speaker 1: they beat me to it. They did the trick that
- 21:24Speaker 1: I do. It was him and his wife. So they
- 21:25Speaker 1: do the trick that I do.
- 21:26Speaker 2: What's the trick?
- 21:27Speaker 1: You pay for it before the person gets there. Ah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 1: But I think they were just repaying because he had
- 21:33Speaker 1: come to town kind of a last minute thing. They
- 21:35Speaker 1: had an off week last week, and so they wanted
- 21:38Speaker 1: to go. They were like, hey, asking a question about something.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I was like, Keith Urban's in town, and so I
- 21:44Speaker 1: know Keith. So I just called and had him put
- 21:46Speaker 1: some tickets for them. I said, you don't have to go,
- 21:47Speaker 1: but Keith goes on the nine, And so they ended
- 21:49Speaker 1: up going to the show, or at least some of it,
- 21:52Speaker 1: if not all of it, And then we had lunch
- 21:54Speaker 1: the next day of school.
- 21:55Speaker 6: That's great. Cool. He likes Nashville hasn't he been? Wasn't
- 21:59Speaker 6: he just here?
- 21:59Speaker 5: Was that him?
- 22:00Speaker 2: Oh?
- 22:00Speaker 6: That was coach odemhah, well both and Saderfield satifield mixed up.
- 22:05Speaker 6: I took all the Sadurfield of the operator. That's what
- 22:07Speaker 6: it was.
- 22:07Speaker 2: That's what I'm that's when you responded to that Texans. Look,
- 22:09Speaker 2: it's weird.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I was.
- 22:10Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 22:11Speaker 1: I just thought maybe he knows more than that's what
- 22:14Speaker 1: he knows.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Coach. Okay, cool?
- 22:15Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, what's the spread in the Kansas Kansas State
- 22:17Speaker 1: game this week? Because that's that's a big rivalry and
- 22:24Speaker 1: Kansas State's kind of had their number recently.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Where are they playing to.
- 22:29Speaker 1: If I'm betting, it's Kansas, the state of Kansas.
- 22:33Speaker 2: You know what, that's the same.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, So all right, there's our our list of favorites.
- 22:39Speaker 6: Kansas minus three at Kansas at Kansas. Yeah they're at home.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Does that mean they're playing?
- 22:45Speaker 1: They have a stadium, right, they have a new stadium.
- 22:47Speaker 1: They paid about a billion dollars for. It's freaking it's awesome.
- 22:50Speaker 2: We can go.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Hey, I know I know people there if we ever
- 22:53Speaker 1: want to go. All right, that's the second my call.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Let's talk about our favorites. All right, way to go

- 24:49Speaker 1: All right, here's our talk now with Minnesota head football
- 24:51Speaker 1: coach PJ. Fleck. Coach Fleck and the Gophers had a
- 24:53Speaker 1: huge one on Friday night when they beat Nebraska nine sacks.
- 24:57Speaker 1: The Gophers are now five and two and they'll face
- 25:00Speaker 1: Iowa this weekend and another big game. Thanks to coach
- 25:02Speaker 1: We're coming on here he is Coach PJ Flick, What up.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Coach Hobby Bones?
- 25:06Speaker 6: What's up?
- 25:07Speaker 5: Man?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Hey? First of all, big fan love the energy always
- 25:11Speaker 1: like I don't know anything about Minnesota as a state,
- 25:14Speaker 1: been there like twice, but I watch you guys, like,
- 25:15Speaker 1: congratulations coach. That was an awesome win Friday night.
- 25:18Speaker 5: Yeah, I appreciate that, man. That was That was a
- 25:20Speaker 5: really big win for us. So well fired up to
- 25:22Speaker 5: get that. It was always good to beat Big Red.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I was going to ask when you do a Friday
- 25:26Speaker 1: night game, like do you condense things or do you
- 25:29Speaker 1: just not do things leading up to that game?
- 25:32Speaker 5: Will you condense it pretty quick and then you you
- 25:34Speaker 5: alter it? So college football is a little bit differ
- 25:37Speaker 5: than the NFL. Right, So Tuesdays you have first and
- 25:39Speaker 5: second down practice. Coaches game plan all Monday, so Tuesday
- 25:44Speaker 5: first second down practice. Wednesdays are third down practice. Thursday
- 25:48Speaker 5: is like a walkthrough where you have the whole game
- 25:50Speaker 5: plan in and then Friday is like a fast, quick
- 25:54Speaker 5: thirty minute practice, and then you obviously have Saturday of
- 25:56Speaker 5: the game when you when you only have a six
- 25:59Speaker 5: or five and a half day week. We practiced on Tuesday,
- 26:01Speaker 5: we did like a true walkthrough practice. On Wednesday. Thursday
- 26:05Speaker 5: we kind of did a little bit of a thirty
- 26:07Speaker 5: minute plus another walkthrough. It's kind of like the NFL,
- 26:10Speaker 5: Like the Vikings will play Thursday, but they just got
- 26:13Speaker 5: done playing on Sunday, so it's all walkthroughs. There's no
- 26:16Speaker 5: practice throughout the week, so you still do the same
- 26:19Speaker 5: game plan and the coaches spending the same amount of
- 26:23Speaker 5: time game planning. It's just you got to adapt to
- 26:25Speaker 5: practice schedule a little bit.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I'm kids, I don't know how many analysts you have,
- 26:29Speaker 1: but do you have any of the guys start working
- 26:31Speaker 1: earlier on a game that's coming up on a Friday
- 26:32Speaker 1: than normally. I'm just the traditional schedules just got to
- 26:35Speaker 1: throw everything off for a minute.
- 26:36Speaker 5: It does, I mean, it definitely does, and that's what
- 26:38Speaker 5: makes it unique. But yeah, we have analysts that are
- 26:41Speaker 5: working a little bit ahead. We don't have the resources
- 26:42Speaker 5: that some schools have, so we don't have a whole
- 26:45Speaker 5: department working ahead creating game plans. So we don't have
- 26:49Speaker 5: all those resources, but we have some people, some young
- 26:52Speaker 5: people working ahead, whether it's personnel, schematics, you know, analytics,
- 26:57Speaker 5: things like that to give us kind of a report
- 27:00Speaker 5: right when we start that game planning. But we don't
- 27:02Speaker 5: have the resources some people have where they're kind of
- 27:04Speaker 5: game planning weeks in advance. We don't have that, but
- 27:09Speaker 5: you know, we have our own kind of people that
- 27:11Speaker 5: work ahead a little bit.
- 27:13Speaker 1: There's a lot of things that I do now in
- 27:15Speaker 1: the different jobs that I have where I can use AI.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Have we got to the point now where you can
- 27:19Speaker 1: just like stick other teams in AI to see what
- 27:21Speaker 1: their tendencies are through a computer program?
- 27:23Speaker 5: You can. I think that we have been doing that
- 27:27Speaker 5: for years. We've been doing that in a very different
- 27:29Speaker 5: way though. The analytics have been around for a while,
- 27:33Speaker 5: but AI's taking it to a completely different level in
- 27:35Speaker 5: my opinion. But there's still a human element of football. Remember,
- 27:39Speaker 5: our product is people. Apple's product is the iPhone, the iPad,
- 27:44Speaker 5: the earbuds, and you know, like that's the product. When
- 27:47Speaker 5: you're dealing in a world where the product is eighteen
- 27:50Speaker 5: to twenty two year olds. There's still a sense of
- 27:53Speaker 5: the human part of it. So yes, like going forward
- 27:56Speaker 5: on fourth and one and having analytics on this and
- 27:58Speaker 5: that and what's the folks say on this, and what's
- 28:01Speaker 5: the AI say on that, which is fine if it
- 28:03Speaker 5: was all robots going out there and playing. These are
- 28:07Speaker 5: human beings, so there's still that human element. There's injuries.
- 28:11Speaker 5: What does your team really do well? What do they
- 28:13Speaker 5: not do well? The type of opponent you're playing, what
- 28:16Speaker 5: injuries do they have? I mean, it's crazy. It is
- 28:19Speaker 5: the most unpredictable sport I think in the entire world.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I watched the game because a Friday night allows me
- 28:27Speaker 1: to watch teams at times that I don't normally get
- 28:29Speaker 1: to watch. I think that's a benefit. You know, of
- 28:30Speaker 1: all the hard things for you guys to have to
- 28:32Speaker 1: adjust to the probably the great thing is people getting
- 28:35Speaker 1: to watch, like more people than normal. And so I'm
- 28:37Speaker 1: watching the game. I mean, you guys dominated the crap
- 28:39Speaker 1: out of them. It seems like there was a sack
- 28:40Speaker 1: every third play, Like what did you get? Did you
- 28:43Speaker 1: know going into it that your defensive line, like your edges,
- 28:45Speaker 1: we're going to be able to dominate like that.
- 28:47Speaker 5: We had to, and that was the whole game plan,
- 28:49Speaker 5: was to take the pocket and shrink it, eliminate the
- 28:52Speaker 5: running lanes for Rayola, because he's one of the best
- 28:56Speaker 5: players in all of America. He can create whether it's
- 28:59Speaker 5: the the run game, He's like Houdini. He's got a
- 29:03Speaker 5: great escapability in the pocket. So we had to condense
- 29:06Speaker 5: those lanes. But it really starts top down, and we
- 29:10Speaker 5: did a great job, I thought on the outside and
- 29:12Speaker 5: the perimeters were banged up at corner, had a lot
- 29:14Speaker 5: of young players playing, but they did a great job
- 29:17Speaker 5: covering from the top down, which allowed our guys to
- 29:20Speaker 5: condense the pocket, eliminate those running lanes and escape lanes
- 29:23Speaker 5: and get to them and put the pressure on them.
- 29:26Speaker 5: And you know, I thought our guys blitzed really well.
- 29:28Speaker 5: There's some really good clips of us blitzing and some
- 29:31Speaker 5: almost gifts of our linebackers really bringing it when they
- 29:34Speaker 5: did blitz with intentionality violence. And I thought we dictated
- 29:39Speaker 5: the terms of the game of how that game was
- 29:42Speaker 5: going to be played very early, and part of that
- 29:44Speaker 5: was getting after the quarterback and stopping the run. And
- 29:47Speaker 5: I thought our guys did a great job of that. Now,
- 29:49Speaker 5: Raila got out there and looked like Patrick Mahomes at times,
- 29:51Speaker 5: he's going to do that. But I thought, all in all,
- 29:54Speaker 5: when you look at the beginning game to the end
- 29:56Speaker 5: of the game, I thought we dominated that.
- 29:57Speaker 1: That ninety eight yard drive, I think it was ninety
- 29:59Speaker 1: eight in the third quarter. Whenever your offense is calling
- 30:03Speaker 1: play and you're on the two, are you just hoping, hey,
- 30:05Speaker 1: let's get to a place where at least we can
- 30:07Speaker 1: flip the film position, or are you like, all right,
- 30:09Speaker 1: we're dialed in, we're gonna go ninety eight yards.
- 30:12Speaker 5: Well, we have a saying here, and every piece of
- 30:15Speaker 5: the field is named something different, right, So whether that's
- 30:19Speaker 5: short yardage and goal line, whether that's you know, red
- 30:22Speaker 5: zone or tight red zone, whether that's alumni zone, which
- 30:26Speaker 5: everybody loves. The middle of the field is called the
- 30:28Speaker 5: alumni zone cause the alumni is love watching bombs get
- 30:30Speaker 5: thrown over people's heads. Take a shot, throw it deep.
- 30:34Speaker 5: But when you are back, we call it backed up
- 30:36Speaker 5: from the four yard line to the goal line, and
- 30:38Speaker 5: then coming out is from the five yard line to
- 30:40Speaker 5: the twelve yard line. So we have a saying in
- 30:42Speaker 5: situational football, when you're in backed up, the first goal
- 30:45Speaker 5: of backed up is get out of backed up. So
- 30:47Speaker 5: within the first play, we want to get out. We
- 30:49Speaker 5: want to get past that four yard line, and we
- 30:51Speaker 5: were able to do that. Well, then you're into coming out.
- 30:54Speaker 5: You're in that five to the twelve range. Well, the
- 30:56Speaker 5: first goal of coming out is get out of coming out.
- 30:58Speaker 5: So getting out of that coming out part and getting
- 31:01Speaker 5: your first first down is critical. Now, some people like
- 31:04Speaker 5: to be able to throw the ball vertical at times.
- 31:06Speaker 5: You can do that too, because it's kind of like
- 31:08Speaker 5: a punt. But our whole goal is, hey, when you're
- 31:10Speaker 5: backed up, first goal, backed up, get out of backed up,
- 31:13Speaker 5: get into coming out. Once you're in coming out, get
- 31:15Speaker 5: out of coming out. And that's where the majority of
- 31:17Speaker 5: football played is where you kind of get in that
- 31:19Speaker 5: twenty five yard line to the opposite twenty five yard line,
- 31:22Speaker 5: that's where the majority of football's played. So that was
- 31:25Speaker 5: our whole mindset. And then once we were you know,
- 31:28Speaker 5: it was about an eight and a half minute drive
- 31:30Speaker 5: to really establish that mindset in that second half of
- 31:34Speaker 5: what we wanted to do.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Final question about that game is you kind of owned Nebraska,
- 31:38Speaker 1: Like you're seven to one against them, like you kind
- 31:40Speaker 1: of have the deed to the land, right Like you
- 31:42Speaker 1: go into the state, you're like, I own Nebraska.
- 31:45Speaker 5: I wish it was that simple. It just happens we've
- 31:48Speaker 5: won each year over the course of the eight years,
- 31:51Speaker 5: we won seven of them. It just happened to be
- 31:53Speaker 5: that we have our own nemesis. If you want to
- 31:57Speaker 5: look at it from the opposite perspective. You know, I
- 32:00Speaker 5: think we've only won one time in the last eight
- 32:03Speaker 5: years against the team we're gonna play this week. So
- 32:06Speaker 5: in the Big Ten, you really never know what you're
- 32:09Speaker 5: gonna get. You want to be one to know every
- 32:11Speaker 5: single week. And and that's the whole point. We have
- 32:15Speaker 5: this whole corny mindset right of just be one to
- 32:18Speaker 5: know every single week. Every week's its own entity, and
- 32:20Speaker 5: it's a championship week.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Uh.
- 32:22Speaker 5: And that's how our players approach it. We're playing an
- 32:26Speaker 5: opponent that's a big rival of ours this week, uh,
- 32:29Speaker 5: and we've had a lot of one possession games with them.
- 32:31Speaker 5: So you've got to find a way to get with
- 32:34Speaker 5: your players and understand that every week in the Big Ten,
- 32:37Speaker 5: you have no idea what's gonna happen. Just because you
- 32:39Speaker 5: did it last year or two years ago or three
- 32:41Speaker 5: years ago doesn't mean that's going to continue to happen
- 32:44Speaker 5: this year. You got to earn everything you get. As
- 32:47Speaker 5: much as college football has changed over the years with
- 32:50Speaker 5: nil and portal and paying players and all these other things,
- 32:53Speaker 5: the one thing that that stays the same is everything changes,
- 32:56Speaker 5: and you've got to find a way to get everybody
- 32:58Speaker 5: in that one game. CHAMPI ship mindset, and I think
- 33:01Speaker 5: our players do a really good job of that.
- 33:02Speaker 1: You got a mini MANI buy. Since you played on Friday,
- 33:05Speaker 1: what do you what do you get to do on
- 33:06Speaker 1: a Saturday?
- 33:07Speaker 5: Then it's a great question. Well, because we won, we
- 33:10Speaker 5: we gave everybody Saturday off. Our coaches had a lot
- 33:13Speaker 5: of things to kind of do on their own at home,
- 33:16Speaker 5: and then we started really early on Sunday on Iowa.
- 33:19Speaker 5: But you know what the flex do I mean, we
- 33:23Speaker 5: get done with a whole week of football, get done
- 33:25Speaker 5: with a game like that, we celebrate in the locker
- 33:27Speaker 5: room like that, and then the next day we watch football.
- 33:31Speaker 1: So you watched other games.
- 33:33Speaker 5: That's what we did. Heather and I and sat there
- 33:36Speaker 5: and watched a ton of games. On Saturday, I went
- 33:40Speaker 5: for a bunch of walks. It's kind of what we did.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Man.
- 33:43Speaker 1: When I if I watch other like creatives, asn't matter
- 33:46Speaker 1: if it's comedy. Wherever I compare myself, I'm like, oh,
- 33:47Speaker 1: I'm funnier than him. I'm whatever. Do you watch other
- 33:49Speaker 1: teams be like, oh we kill them? Oh out? Do
- 33:52Speaker 1: you call play? Can you be a fan coach while
- 33:54Speaker 1: you're watching games?
- 33:55Speaker 5: No, Heather could be a fan. But we love to
- 33:59Speaker 5: watch like team is that you know we know the
- 34:01Speaker 5: head coaches of and are really good friends with. But
- 34:04Speaker 5: I have a hard time watching anything for entertainment. If
- 34:08Speaker 5: I watch a movie on a Netflix show with Heather,
- 34:11Speaker 5: I'm stopping it, constantly rewinding it, and I have a
- 34:14Speaker 5: little I have no pads everywhere around the house, and
- 34:16Speaker 5: I just write it down. She's like, what are you doing.
- 34:18Speaker 5: I'm like, I could use that for a team meeting.
- 34:20Speaker 5: I never watch anything for entertainment, so if I'm watching
- 34:23Speaker 5: a Netflix show or a movie, I'm looking for something
- 34:26Speaker 5: I can use with my team. And it just it
- 34:28Speaker 5: drives her crazy because we can never just watch a
- 34:30Speaker 5: show and just watch the whole entirety of it. When
- 34:33Speaker 5: we're watching football, I'm constantly stopping it. All right, what
- 34:36Speaker 5: would I do. Okay, I've got to I'm gonna put
- 34:38Speaker 5: myself in this person's shoes situationally, what would I do?
- 34:42Speaker 5: I'm then asking Heather what would you do here? And
- 34:44Speaker 5: then I'm sitting there grilling her like she's a coach,
- 34:46Speaker 5: why would you do that? Like why would you? Why
- 34:48Speaker 5: would you put your team in that position? And she's like,
- 34:51Speaker 5: what are you talking about? I'm like, why would you
- 34:52Speaker 5: do that? So it's really hard to ever watch anything,
- 34:56Speaker 5: especially football or sports through through without taking the coaching
- 35:02Speaker 5: lens off or using it for your football team. So, UH,
- 35:06Speaker 5: I don't know. I guess that's why maybe I'm really
- 35:08Speaker 5: hard to live with UH and maybe to work for
- 35:11Speaker 5: it because I'm constantly looking at ways to make it better.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Well, have you been to a concert lately at all?
- 35:16Speaker 2: Coach?
- 35:17Speaker 5: Yes, love concerts, love concerts.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Where'd you go to?
- 35:22Speaker 2: Uh?
- 35:22Speaker 5: Well, we've been to a few concerts. We went to UH.
- 35:25Speaker 5: We took the staff last year to Bruce Springsteen. I'm
- 35:30Speaker 5: a big fan of Bruce. Uh. We went to UH.
- 35:32Speaker 5: We went to a small concert for the TV one
- 35:34Speaker 5: F Foundation, which is a great friend of ours. She's
- 35:38Speaker 5: a she's a teenage girl has cancer and unfortunate's got
- 35:41Speaker 5: it for the third time, but she had like Graham
- 35:42Speaker 5: barhum uh in and got to spend some time around
- 35:45Speaker 5: Graham Barham, who I thought was absolutely awesome, Uh you know,
- 35:48Speaker 5: having that that oil Money song. And I'm a big
- 35:52Speaker 5: country music fan, Luke Combs, Riley Green. I got to
- 35:54Speaker 5: see those guys. Oh gosh, last one Kenny Chesney in
- 36:01Speaker 5: the sphere?
- 36:01Speaker 6: Did you go?
- 36:02Speaker 5: How would I forget that? Unbelievable? In fact, went to
- 36:06Speaker 5: the show, not necessarily with but met up with Matt Rule,
- 36:08Speaker 5: the head coach from Nebraska UNLV Dan Mullen, the head
- 36:12Speaker 5: coach there, and we were all at the show kind
- 36:14Speaker 5: of together. Got to be around Kenny a little bit.
- 36:16Speaker 5: He was so gracious. Matt Rule's friends with the guy,
- 36:19Speaker 5: Dan Mullen's friends with the guy. I'm not friends with him,
- 36:21Speaker 5: so I was starstruck.
- 36:23Speaker 7: Man.
- 36:23Speaker 5: I was like, hey, I met you outside this Malibu
- 36:26Speaker 5: hotel like five years ago ago, and I was like, fangirling, man,
- 36:31Speaker 5: it was crazy.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I know Kenny b rellatively well, and he invited me
- 36:35Speaker 1: out a couple of times and I didn't go. And
- 36:36Speaker 1: I was like, I've seen Kenny before, but that Spear
- 36:39Speaker 1: show is it pretty special, just that venue.
- 36:42Speaker 5: It is the greatest entertainment spectacle I think in the world.
- 36:46Speaker 5: I've seen lay Mis in London, I've done a lot
- 36:50Speaker 5: of like things. What people say, you have to see
- 36:51Speaker 5: this show. I love concerts. I go to a lot
- 36:55Speaker 5: of concerts. By far the greatest thing I've ever seen.
- 36:58Speaker 5: You were immersed in the experience I don't think I've had,
- 37:01Speaker 5: and we were sitting was perfect. But I don't even
- 37:04Speaker 5: remember looking at Kenny Chesney or the stage. Like it's
- 37:08Speaker 5: the only concert I've ever been to where I never
- 37:11Speaker 5: looked at the stage. You're immersed in this feeling and
- 37:14Speaker 5: experience of what Kenny Chesney is all about. The feeling
- 37:19Speaker 5: he wants you to feel. You feel it. I mean,
- 37:22Speaker 5: it hits your heart, your soul. It's unbelievable. I mean,
- 37:26Speaker 5: I've never been Heather and I love Vegas, so it's great,
- 37:29Speaker 5: but this fear is unbelievable. And Kenny put on such
- 37:32Speaker 5: a live show. What an entertainer.
- 37:34Speaker 1: All right, last question. You got Iowa coming up, and
- 37:37Speaker 1: like you said, your personal record against Iowa hasn't been
- 37:40Speaker 1: as good as you hoped it had been. What do
- 37:42Speaker 1: you do different this year?
- 37:43Speaker 5: Do everything we can to be one to know. You know,
- 37:46Speaker 5: this has nothing to do with last year or five
- 37:49Speaker 5: years ago, or the close games we've had with them
- 37:51Speaker 5: at times. This is a rivalry and you throw all
- 37:54Speaker 5: those records out. We're playing for, you know, one hundred
- 37:58Speaker 5: pound pig, the Floyd of Rosedown, which is one of
- 38:00Speaker 5: the greatest traditions in all of college college football, one
- 38:03Speaker 5: of the greatest robberies in all of college football. So
- 38:05Speaker 5: there's a completely different team in twenty twenty five. Iowa
- 38:08Speaker 5: has a completely different team in twenty twenty five. We've
- 38:12Speaker 5: got to play our best football. We got to find
- 38:14Speaker 5: a way to be one and oh and I know
- 38:16Speaker 5: Iowa feels the same way. Iowa City is such a
- 38:19Speaker 5: special place to play in Kinnick Stadium, all the tradition there,
- 38:23Speaker 5: Their fans absolutely love Iowa. So we've got to have
- 38:26Speaker 5: a great week of preparation, find a way to be
- 38:28Speaker 5: one to Oh come Saturday afternoon, all.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Right, coach, really appreciate the time. I would be a
- 38:33Speaker 1: little amiss if I didn't just mention that the fall
- 38:35Speaker 1: colors in Fayetteville really great. I just want you to
- 38:38Speaker 1: think about that the fall colors in Faytbeville. That's all
- 38:40Speaker 1: I say. I'll say no more, but I just want
- 38:42Speaker 1: you to think about that, Coach, if you ever get
- 38:43Speaker 1: some time you have fall. Colors in Fayville are pretty
- 38:46Speaker 1: freaking great. Hey, good luck this week, coach. Have no
- 38:48Speaker 1: comment and we'll be watching for you. Congrats on you
- 38:50Speaker 1: in last week.
- 38:51Speaker 5: Hey, I will say our quarterback is from Fayetteville. I
- 38:54Speaker 5: know pretty Ironald, I know he is an absolute stud. Guys,
- 38:57Speaker 5: I'm just telling you, he is an absolute stuff. I'm
- 38:59Speaker 5: pretty have him on the show one day.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I'm pretty upset we don't have him on the team, Coach,
- 39:03Speaker 1: and I'm being honest, but yeah, you did a good
- 39:04Speaker 1: win there, all right, there he is coach flight. Good
- 39:06Speaker 1: to see a coach.
- 39:07Speaker 5: Big fan of you, Bobby. Thank you very much for
- 39:08Speaker 5: having us on the show.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Thanks coach, see you later. All right. I have made
- 39:17Speaker 1: a list of notes, as I often do, and let's
- 39:19Speaker 1: go down then. Number one, the Brown's helmets. When they're brown,
- 39:25Speaker 1: it's like a Matt Brown. It's one of my new
- 39:27Speaker 1: favorite helmets.
- 39:28Speaker 6: Really yep.
- 39:30Speaker 1: So it's the opposite color way of the whenever it's
- 39:34Speaker 1: like four oranget my orange orange. But I know it's brown,
- 39:38Speaker 1: although it does look black, But I know it's brown
- 39:40Speaker 1: because of the browns. That's how I know it's brown.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I think I've complimented and commented on their jerseys before,
- 39:48Speaker 1: but that helmet looks awesome.
- 39:50Speaker 2: The whole thing they were wearing was brown, right, helmet
- 39:53Speaker 2: brown y Yeah.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Yeah, so big shout out to the brown They won, Yeah,
- 39:58Speaker 1: beat them pretty good. Can they fired Mimmy.
- 40:00Speaker 6: Daniel yet as of right? No, nope, dang.
- 40:04Speaker 1: My other note I wrote on all the teams that lost.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Number two, Miami lost hilarious to Louisville. Ole Miss lost.
- 40:12Speaker 1: What a game, great game. Georgia didn't stop All Miss
- 40:15Speaker 1: one single time until they had to stop All Miss
- 40:17Speaker 1: one single time.
- 40:18Speaker 6: Yeah, that was an awesome game.
- 40:20Speaker 1: That was just points on points.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Uh so Ole Miss lost to Georgia. Texas Tech loss.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Also a crazy game because Arizona State blew the lead
- 40:30Speaker 1: and then came back and won. I believe I've seen
- 40:33Speaker 1: a bunch of games since days that right, Okay, boom lsu.
- 40:37Speaker 1: If he doesn't win every game the rest of the year,
- 40:39Speaker 1: Brian Kelly's out, they're going to fire him. Yeah, that's crazy.
- 40:43Speaker 1: He left Notre Dame to go win championship. Since then,
- 40:45Speaker 1: they've been in the championship and they're probably gonna get
- 40:47Speaker 1: in the tournament again. And right now Number ten LSU
- 40:51Speaker 1: not in. They've got to win.
- 40:53Speaker 6: And they don't look great at all.
- 40:54Speaker 1: No, because ness Meyer doesn't look full. No, something's up.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Yeah either he sucks worse than we thought, which I
- 41:03Speaker 1: don't think is true. He's dealing with an injury, he's
- 41:06Speaker 1: playing too much PlayStation.
- 41:08Speaker 2: I don't know what it is that could be in.
- 41:09Speaker 1: But something's up because, yeah, you're right, their offensive line
- 41:12Speaker 1: is not good though. Yeah, their offensive line is not good.
- 41:15Speaker 1: And you know what a bad offensive line makes a
- 41:16Speaker 1: quarterback look hurt sometimes, But yeah, their offensive line not good.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I watched a bunch of that. Tennessee they lost a number.
- 41:22Speaker 1: There's a lot of losses. Tennessee at number eleven lost
- 41:24Speaker 1: to Alabama the game I don't know. Two. I want
- 41:29Speaker 1: too my own horn here. When everybody's like Canada board sucks,
- 41:33Speaker 1: I never I was always like, no, the board's awesome,
- 41:36Speaker 1: and you're gonna see there's just too much parody now
- 41:39Speaker 1: for there to be a team that runs away with
- 41:40Speaker 1: everything unless you're Ohio State or Indiana right now because
- 41:43Speaker 1: they're easily.
- 41:43Speaker 6: One two, and even then, the organ's right there somewhere.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Tennessee lost. USC lost to Notre Dame.
- 41:49Speaker 5: They blew it.
- 41:50Speaker 1: This was Notre Dame's last chance to lose because they
- 41:52Speaker 1: don't play anybody the rest of the year. Memphis lost,
- 41:55Speaker 1: They blew it. Memphis was looking ahead at UFC. You
- 41:59Speaker 1: seef Universe Central Florida University, Central Florida, you see. Yeah,
- 42:02Speaker 1: thank you UFC Universal Fighting Championship. Okay, that's fighting. Memphis
- 42:09Speaker 1: lost to UAB with Mortensen. Yeah, as the interim coach.
- 42:17Speaker 1: They were looking ahead. They were worried about college game
- 42:19Speaker 1: they come in the next week, which might have been
- 42:21Speaker 1: the whole situation. They they blew it. That's probably the
- 42:26Speaker 1: worst loss of the week right there. Utah lost, Hey,
- 42:31Speaker 1: b yu solid undefeated, solid. Yeah, and that that Holy War.
- 42:37Speaker 1: You know, I think the woke is trying to like
- 42:40Speaker 1: change the name. That never change the name of the
- 42:42Speaker 1: Holy War. It's awesome. Yeah, that's that's the name of rivalry,
- 42:46Speaker 1: the Holy.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Yes, I mean that sounds so intense.
- 42:48Speaker 6: It sounds like a movie.
- 42:49Speaker 1: And while we're and while we're at it, red River
- 42:51Speaker 1: Shootout comes back.
- 42:53Speaker 2: To Yeah, man, we're not. It's an old Western movie anyway, reference.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Or it's a three point shootout. Stop calling the three
- 42:59Speaker 1: points shots? Hey, why don't Hey, whoa, why don't we
- 43:02Speaker 1: call him three point throws?
- 43:04Speaker 6: Woke? Yeah?
- 43:06Speaker 1: Whoa? Everybody's so worried, abu rundrivers shootout. We can't call
- 43:08Speaker 1: it that. Okay, how about three point shooting?
- 43:11Speaker 2: Yeah, whoa, that's still the same thing, shooting shots.
- 43:14Speaker 1: We need to call it three point throwing then, so
- 43:16Speaker 1: nobody gets their feelings hurt. Anyway, that was stupid.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Yeah boom or sooner boom. You gotta take the boom out?
- 43:24Speaker 1: WHOA, No, that's just a sound.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah, boom, sound of a gun boom?
- 43:29Speaker 5: Know?
- 43:29Speaker 2: Is that all right?
- 43:29Speaker 1: Now? You know there's no script on this show. Sometimes
- 43:36Speaker 1: we go in directions. Uh, Nebraska lost anyway, you know,
- 43:40Speaker 1: coach fleck On, but it's crazy that he's won seven
- 43:41Speaker 1: of eight against Nebraska. What I think about there, though,
- 43:44Speaker 1: is that Matt rule. Probably I'm gonna get the Penn
- 43:50Speaker 1: State job. I don't know anymore than anybody else that
- 43:52Speaker 1: I read. But then he goes and loses the game,
- 43:55Speaker 1: right when he's the guy that definitely sours a fan base.
- 43:58Speaker 1: If Penn State's like, yeah, Matt rules, our guy went
- 43:59Speaker 1: to school here a great coach. Coach at Temple coaches
- 44:02Speaker 1: face off. Coach at Baylor coaches face off. Okay, not
- 44:05Speaker 1: so good with the Panthers. But you know what, everybody
- 44:06Speaker 1: sucks at the Panthers. I E. C. Baker Mayfield, see
- 44:09Speaker 1: Sam Darnold, see Christian McCaffrey, see Matt Ruhle, Like you
- 44:12Speaker 1: can put all the Panthers. That's just a bad place.
- 44:15Speaker 1: That's our guy, that's our guy. All right, this week
- 44:16Speaker 1: they're gonna play a minute. Oh my god, they lost.
- 44:18Speaker 1: We don't want them anymore.
- 44:19Speaker 6: And they lost pretty good too, Yeah easily.
- 44:22Speaker 1: I don't think they scored a touchdown, am I right?
- 44:25Speaker 5: No?
- 44:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 44:25Speaker 6: Two field goals.
- 44:27Speaker 1: That's that's tough. So yeah, center breath. A lot of
- 44:30Speaker 1: team's lost.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 44:31Speaker 1: I got two other notes here, and then I go
- 44:33Speaker 1: to Eddie's notes. One of the things that they were
- 44:37Speaker 1: they thought was funny on television, that I thought was
- 44:41Speaker 1: mildly humorous on television, but I wouldn't have been fooled
- 44:44Speaker 1: by it because it was bad acting. Was Patrick Mahomes.
- 44:47Speaker 1: So it's fourth and one and he goes up and
- 44:50Speaker 1: he's like, oh yeah, holduh ef, this Eppen doesn't work.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Hold on and they hand it out. The acting it
- 45:00Speaker 1: was so bad.
- 45:01Speaker 2: I was it Nance? Was it Nance and Romo?
- 45:03Speaker 1: Yeah, they were laughing and it was funny. It was funny.
- 45:07Speaker 1: I thought it was such terrible acting. It wouldn't have
- 45:09Speaker 1: thrown me off.
- 45:10Speaker 6: Yeah, and you knew right when he was when they're
- 45:12Speaker 6: over like over the top with it, you always know, okay,
- 45:14Speaker 6: what's coming.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:16Speaker 1: He throws the fort out there and everything, I mean
- 45:19Speaker 1: loud on TV, which was hilarious.
- 45:21Speaker 5: I'll like it.
- 45:21Speaker 1: They try stuff like that. That's fun to me. The Chiefs
- 45:23Speaker 1: are good, hey, ra Shei. Rice adds a whole different element.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Oh man, dude, they had two touchdowns there he did.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Yeah, first game back, dude, They're they're good.
- 45:33Speaker 6: I didn't watch any of it.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Yeah, to watch games, so that's hard. Yeah.
- 45:37Speaker 6: I was at the other games, so yeah, I can't
- 45:39Speaker 6: that I did.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Watch because I was at home until the last thirty
- 45:43Speaker 1: minutes and I watched the other one. During the previews
- 45:45Speaker 1: of the freaking Movie that lasted.
- 45:47Speaker 2: You had your phone on in the movie theater.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Only during the previews and my wife was smart enough
- 45:52Speaker 1: to go and thoughtful enough to go, Hey, I know
- 45:56Speaker 1: you're giving up a part of your day of football
- 45:57Speaker 1: because it's part of your job, this job in the
- 45:59Speaker 1: NFL show. She's like, so if we go to two
- 46:02Speaker 1: thirty one, let's get a seat in the very back
- 46:03Speaker 1: row and you can have your phone on during the
- 46:05Speaker 1: early part of the movie. The previews awesome, so you
- 46:07Speaker 1: won't be shining a light. She gets with them, she
- 46:10Speaker 1: does get a job, and so but luckily it was
- 46:12Speaker 1: over before the even started. But I thought, oh, that's
- 46:14Speaker 1: that's a great idea.
- 46:16Speaker 2: You can always go to a kids movie too. No
- 46:20Speaker 2: I want mont to go to kids I know, but
- 46:21Speaker 2: just say no one cares about light phones on that.
- 46:23Speaker 7: Man.
- 46:23Speaker 1: If I was gonna go to a kids movie, I
- 46:24Speaker 1: can watch the game. I would just watch the game
- 46:26Speaker 1: at home because don't want to go to a kids movie.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Whatever you can talk about, maybe you can talk to
- 46:29Speaker 2: your wife into watching a kids movie. You're like, I
- 46:31Speaker 2: really want to see the neutrols, you know, like something like.
- 46:33Speaker 6: A SpongeBob Babe.
- 46:35Speaker 1: My final note is cleansing sucks.
- 46:38Speaker 6: They're still cursed.
- 46:44Speaker 1: They suck. They're still cursed. The day it all changed
- 46:48Speaker 1: is the day they Big Time does see that's.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Crazy, though, that coach wouldn't be like, you know what,
- 46:51Speaker 2: like this could be a real thing. I'm just gonna
- 46:53Speaker 2: go on that podcast in an interview.
- 46:54Speaker 1: The day they Big Time does this the day they
- 46:56Speaker 1: started sucking, and only that reason.
- 46:59Speaker 6: And it's probably not going to turn around until that happens.
- 47:02Speaker 1: That's right. So if anybody wants to get this to Dabbo,
- 47:05Speaker 1: we're here, coach, I'd have them, of course, I'd have
- 47:08Speaker 1: them on.
- 47:09Speaker 2: I'd lift the curse. That's been the deal, Brandon, Like, dude,
- 47:12Speaker 2: do you want to come on?
- 47:12Speaker 7: Come on?
- 47:13Speaker 1: The curse will be lifted. If Dabbo comes on and
- 47:15Speaker 1: you're talking about the program it used to be, it
- 47:18Speaker 1: immediately goes back to that's not even a button I'm
- 47:21Speaker 1: hitting whenever I start talking about the curse that happened.
- 47:23Speaker 2: We don't have that button.
- 47:24Speaker 6: I don't even know.
- 47:26Speaker 1: There's no right when I stopped talking about that's bizarre. Yeah,
- 47:30Speaker 1: there's not even wind here, that's true.
- 47:32Speaker 2: But the chimes are being moved by something interesting.
- 47:35Speaker 1: There aren't even chimes, all right. I don't let me
- 47:40Speaker 1: say I there's anything that I want to mention NFL
- 47:43Speaker 1: wise that we haven't mentioned. Thank god the Bengals won.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Oh man, that's great. You know what, though, I feel
- 47:49Speaker 2: bad for Jake Browning, like I really do, Like that
- 47:52Speaker 2: was your chance.
- 47:53Speaker 1: But he had the chance, and he had multiple weeks
- 47:55Speaker 1: and I know that.
- 47:56Speaker 2: I know that. It just solidifies that you're just knock
- 47:59Speaker 2: up that your backup.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it solidifies it because Flacco played well. If Flacco
- 48:04Speaker 1: also would have come had come to town and it
- 48:06Speaker 1: still sucked for him too, and he's stolen picks and
- 48:08Speaker 1: it's like, oh, it's the situation. Maybe Jake Browning isn't
- 48:11Speaker 1: the problem. No, no, flack okay Man got rid of
- 48:13Speaker 1: the ball within three seconds. He knew, he knew, he
- 48:15Speaker 1: knew the drill.
- 48:15Speaker 6: We said, I have Jamar Chase out there. It was
- 48:18Speaker 6: awesome exactly.
- 48:19Speaker 1: And we're a bit biased because we have them in
- 48:21Speaker 1: our league where if they lose, we lose money. Yeah,
- 48:23Speaker 1: we're up six hundred bucks right now, let's go.
- 48:25Speaker 2: I've never cheered so hard for the Bengals in my life.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Like one of my neighbors is the Bengals.
- 48:30Speaker 1: You're tied to the Bengals more. We're all tied to
- 48:32Speaker 1: the Bengals financially, Oh I am there. You are more
- 48:35Speaker 1: than us because you fought for them.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Correct, that's fair? And which which is why would I
- 48:38Speaker 2: fight for the Bengals. I don't know why I did,
- 48:39Speaker 2: but I did.
- 48:40Speaker 6: Micah Parsons, remember right before.
- 48:43Speaker 2: If you wanted the Packers, and I'm like, no chance,
- 48:46Speaker 2: we don't want the Packers, right, Oh yeah, then that's
- 48:48Speaker 2: gotta be it.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Yeah. So in my mind, the Chiefs are mine, the
- 48:52Speaker 1: Bengals are yours, and the Patriots are yours.
- 48:54Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like the best and the Bucks is all
- 48:57Speaker 6: of ours.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I mean I picked the Bucks stock I thought that's
- 48:59Speaker 1: a good pick. But I'm talking about like who were
- 49:00Speaker 1: tied because that first overall pick that's all on me
- 49:04Speaker 1: and that's the one that has to win. Yeah.
- 49:07Speaker 2: So what's crazy is you didn't Oh no, we didn't
- 49:10Speaker 2: have Ravens. Who do we have at that pick? Do
- 49:13Speaker 2: we have the Bills?
- 49:14Speaker 1: The first No, the first two off the board were
- 49:15Speaker 1: Buffalo and Baltimore.
- 49:16Speaker 6: It was either the Eagles or the Chiefs. There you go.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I could have picked between yeah, yeah, and I
- 49:21Speaker 1: picked the Chiefs. Good job because I didn't want two reasons.
- 49:25Speaker 1: One I didn't want to have you to root against.
- 49:27Speaker 2: The Cowboy and the Eagles. Door just root for the Eagles. God,
- 49:30Speaker 2: i'd been terrible for me.
- 49:31Speaker 1: That did factor into my mind because I didn't want
- 49:33Speaker 1: to have to root, have you root in your own
- 49:36Speaker 1: moneys against your rooting, and then we're getting mad at
- 49:37Speaker 1: you for rooting against our money. And then also had
- 49:40Speaker 1: the Chiefs last year, and they made me so much money,
- 49:42Speaker 1: and I wanted a team that I liked the AFC
- 49:45Speaker 1: better too, and I believe in Patrick Mahomes.
- 49:47Speaker 2: I don't mind the Chiefs too. Like I said, I
- 49:49Speaker 2: know you don't like the Chiefs, but like I don't
- 49:51Speaker 2: mind them, like I enjoy watching the Chiefs and rooting
- 49:54Speaker 2: for them.
- 49:55Speaker 6: This and I enjoy winning money with the Chiefs this year. Yes,
- 50:00Speaker 6: I really enjoy that. Yeah, No, it's good.
- 50:02Speaker 1: This is the first time the Colts are the most
- 50:05Speaker 1: winning team.
- 50:05Speaker 6: And they are mowing teams over.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:09Speaker 1: I did think the Chargers would win out. It's like, Okay,
- 50:11Speaker 1: this would be a cute little story.
- 50:12Speaker 2: That's where it ends.
- 50:13Speaker 1: This is this is where it probably has a hiccup.
- 50:16Speaker 1: I didn't think it would end. But because they're also
- 50:18Speaker 1: on a week Division the Colts, Yes, yes, but in
- 50:21Speaker 1: the Chargers been playing well. They won last week with
- 50:23Speaker 1: just it's and I thought this is it, but nope, nop.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Yeah they're good and I think they're officially good now yeah,
- 50:31Speaker 1: because they weren't. I think they're a fun story until
- 50:33Speaker 1: that's last week when they beat a really good team,
- 50:35Speaker 1: the Chargers. It wasn't like the Broncos win where they
- 50:36Speaker 1: needed the leverage and like, you really can't say much
- 50:39Speaker 1: because I think they just won that.
- 50:41Speaker 6: Game right yes, beginning to end. Yes, I mean they
- 50:44Speaker 6: smoked them. Their offense looks awesome.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Love it.
- 50:46Speaker 1: What are you gonna say?
- 50:47Speaker 2: Say Jonathan Taylor. I thought the same thing too, like
- 50:49Speaker 2: this year would be the end of Jonathan Taylor, like
- 50:51Speaker 2: he's gonna come down, But no, he's so good. He's
- 50:53Speaker 2: still so good.
- 50:55Speaker 1: And they have to respect the pass. The NFL is
- 50:57Speaker 1: different than college in the way, depending on what off
- 51:00Speaker 1: it's a scheme you're running. The NFL is way way
- 51:03Speaker 1: way more of a passing league. And so now it's
- 51:05Speaker 1: like you have if you respect the quarterback and the
- 51:08Speaker 1: wide receivers, then your running back is actually going to
- 51:11Speaker 1: be able to do some damage. That's what Jonathan Taylor does,
- 51:14Speaker 1: and so because they have to respect freaking Indiana Jones,
- 51:17Speaker 1: Danny Dimes Jones, they Jonathan Taylor also is awesome, but
- 51:23Speaker 1: he has the ability two of them not to just
- 51:25Speaker 1: do a Derrick Henry because when the Titans had Derrick
- 51:27Speaker 1: Henry and they could do nothing they had. All they
- 51:30Speaker 1: had to do is freaking focus on Derreck Henry and
- 51:32Speaker 1: stop in the Titans games.
- 51:33Speaker 6: Over Yeah, And they had a J. Brown for like
- 51:35Speaker 6: two years and said, no, he's too good, let's ship.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Him off over here in the Titans.
- 51:39Speaker 1: I don't pay him. Yeah, I mean that's the problem.
- 51:41Speaker 1: I don't pay anybody anybody, all right, Eddie's notes, what's
- 51:44Speaker 1: more important winning or having fun? Oh?
- 51:46Speaker 2: Is a legitimate question?
- 51:47Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 51:47Speaker 2: So my six year old he plays baseball and he's
- 51:50Speaker 2: in a great, great baseball team, like they're all every
- 51:52Speaker 2: kid on the team is a plus, and they win,
- 51:55Speaker 2: like they're gonna play for the championship tonight. They'll probably win.
- 51:59Speaker 2: But the problem is my son's not really having fun
- 52:02Speaker 2: because it's so serious. The culture is such a winning,
- 52:05Speaker 2: serious culture, and they're six years old, and I don't
- 52:08Speaker 2: mind it. I'm fighting for him to stay on it.
- 52:10Speaker 2: But I can tell that my son is not having fun.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Do we choose fun because he can play for another
- 52:16Speaker 2: team with all his friends and they're not probably not
- 52:18Speaker 2: gonna win as much, but he'll have a blast.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Okay, does he enjoy winning? That's the question.
- 52:23Speaker 2: He does. He likes winning, but he also like when
- 52:26Speaker 2: it's game day. He's not like, oh, yes, I got
- 52:29Speaker 2: a game. I was like, I got a game today.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Okay, all right, but then that sucks at six.
- 52:35Speaker 2: That's I don't want to hate the sport, but.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Sucks at six are so good? Can I just throw
- 52:39Speaker 1: an idea? I'm not saying this is again, I've I
- 52:42Speaker 1: know I give a lot of great parenting advice because
- 52:43Speaker 1: I've been a parent for so long. So if you
- 52:46Speaker 1: are my guy, thank you. What if because he's good,
- 52:53Speaker 1: he's goodn't very natural.
- 52:56Speaker 2: He's good, and the whole team is good.
- 52:58Speaker 1: What if he played on a worst team one season
- 53:01Speaker 1: and had more fun and you could see which one
- 53:03Speaker 1: he liked more. Okay, because let him play on a
- 53:06Speaker 1: fun team and actually see if he enjoys it more.
- 53:10Speaker 1: While because he may go, man, this is so much
- 53:12Speaker 1: where I just having a good time. But then he
- 53:13Speaker 1: may start losing and hate it more than he hated
- 53:17Speaker 1: having to get ready for those games that he won.
- 53:19Speaker 2: True, And I'm thinking too, if he goes on a
- 53:22Speaker 2: worse team, he'll shine even more because he's better than
- 53:25Speaker 2: everyone else.
- 53:26Speaker 1: I hear you, but I would just I would rather win.
- 53:30Speaker 1: But I'm an adult.
- 53:31Speaker 6: Yeah, at six, that's different. I would think.
- 53:35Speaker 1: I think, give him the opportunity.
- 53:39Speaker 2: What if you coach just texted right now he's like,
- 53:41Speaker 2: get here an hour early. We're gonna hit the batting cages. Serious, man,
- 53:46Speaker 2: they are serious and.
- 53:48Speaker 1: This and this is the team that you're about murning
- 53:50Speaker 1: him out.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I think I'm more worried about him being
- 53:53Speaker 2: six years old and not having fun, just kind of
- 53:55Speaker 2: being six years old.
- 53:57Speaker 1: It sure is fun to win, though.
- 53:59Speaker 6: I think you can do They win?
- 54:00Speaker 2: They do, Oh yeah, they dominate.
- 54:02Speaker 1: What if you let him pick?
- 54:05Speaker 2: Just ask him, well, you know what. We did kind
- 54:07Speaker 2: of have a conversation with him the other day and
- 54:09Speaker 2: he was like, I don't ever want to play baseball anymore.
- 54:12Speaker 2: He just said that out of the blue.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Then I think I would push him toward a more
- 54:17Speaker 1: fun team.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Next year and then try to get him more excited.
- 54:20Speaker 1: And then see if he gets more excited about it
- 54:23Speaker 1: or if he hates playing, like he still likes playing,
- 54:25Speaker 1: but he hates losing. I think you'll learn a lot
- 54:27Speaker 1: if you switch up the environment. Just in general, anybody, this.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Is the team though, Remember I told you guys that
- 54:32Speaker 2: they're kind of like getting ready for travel for when
- 54:34Speaker 2: he's like in middle school, Like, this is the team
- 54:37Speaker 2: that they're trying to groom is a weird word.
- 54:40Speaker 1: But you can take a season off if he's still good.
- 54:43Speaker 1: It does matter. If it takes three seasons.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Off, Oh he'll he'll still be good.
- 54:46Speaker 1: It doesn't matter if he moves into a town and
- 54:48Speaker 1: they're just starting the travel team. If he's good enough
- 54:50Speaker 1: he gets on the team, I would let him play
- 54:52Speaker 1: at a different fun league.
- 54:53Speaker 2: Okay, because man, I knew you were going to say,
- 54:56Speaker 2: like winning, dude.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Well, and sometimes you don't appreciate winning until you're loser.
- 55:01Speaker 1: I really don't think you appreciate anything until you either
- 55:04Speaker 1: don't have it anymore or never had it until you
- 55:06Speaker 1: get it. Like people to grow up extremely rich never
- 55:09Speaker 1: really appreciate money. Yeah, unless it's even more money than
- 55:11Speaker 1: they grew up with. So my philosophy generally is with people. Humans.
- 55:17Speaker 1: They don't appreciate what they have until they don't have it,
- 55:22Speaker 1: or unless they never had it. Think about oxygen. We're
- 55:25Speaker 1: not appreciate in oxygen right now. We just always have it.
- 55:28Speaker 1: It's always there, It's always there. Imagine if someone cut
- 55:30Speaker 1: your air supply off for a minute, you're like, oh God.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Or imagine when you're sick and you're like, man, the
- 55:35Speaker 1: next time I'm healthy, I'm going to appreciate it so much.
- 55:37Speaker 1: The next time I don't have a sore throat, I'm
- 55:39Speaker 1: gonna appreciate.
- 55:40Speaker 2: It so much.
- 55:41Speaker 1: And then as soon as you don't have a sore
- 55:42Speaker 1: throw you forget about You don't appreciate.
- 55:44Speaker 6: The like what burn your tongue and the roof of your.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Mouth, yes that's or you got an earache or anything
- 55:49Speaker 1: that's not normal. If it's abnormal feeling in a worse way,
- 55:52Speaker 1: you're like, dang, I wish I would have appreciated it more.
- 55:54Speaker 1: And it make so.
- 55:55Speaker 2: When I broke my arm, man, I never forget. I
- 55:57Speaker 2: was just like I got to appreciate my arm more,
- 55:59Speaker 2: like everything way with my arm, yes, But then once
- 56:01Speaker 2: it healed out, I'm like, I don't care. I think
- 56:03Speaker 2: about my arm.
- 56:04Speaker 1: But but but you do whenever it's time to kind
- 56:07Speaker 1: of remember what you.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Should be appreciated that that's good stuff.
- 56:10Speaker 1: So yeah, I think the human element of appreciation is
- 56:14Speaker 1: an odd thing. And I know we're comparing it to
- 56:16Speaker 1: a six.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Year old, six year old little league.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Even freedom right that we have to go out, go
- 56:23Speaker 1: to work, go get food when we want it, go man.
- 56:25Speaker 1: As soon as that it gets shut down or someone
- 56:28Speaker 1: you get put in jail, a different regime comes in.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Like if you're in another country, you're like, oh my god,
- 56:32Speaker 1: I never appreciated freedom because it was just inherently there.
- 56:36Speaker 1: I know we're going to place that we're talking about
- 56:38Speaker 1: six years old.
- 56:39Speaker 2: It started with that though it's bigger than the six
- 56:41Speaker 2: years old.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so thanks for going to my Ted talk.
- 56:45Speaker 2: Thank you man. That was good.
- 56:46Speaker 6: Hear me a great debt you are.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Dude, this is going to be it. I've already there'll
- 56:52Speaker 1: be no cartoons.
- 56:53Speaker 2: What are you talking?
- 56:54Speaker 1: It's all documentaries.
- 56:55Speaker 6: Absolutely.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not going to want to watch documentary.
- 56:58Speaker 1: They don't know what they don't have.
- 57:00Speaker 6: They're gonna love the ducks.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Yes, until they go to school and they're like, did
- 57:03Speaker 2: you watch this documentary and they're like, what are you
- 57:04Speaker 2: talking about?
- 57:05Speaker 6: And they don't know what they don't have exactly, so
- 57:08Speaker 6: they can't underappreciate it because they don't even know they
- 57:10Speaker 6: have it.
- 57:10Speaker 1: You go, It's like us in the ability to fly
- 57:13Speaker 1: as humans. If there were humans that could fly, and
- 57:17Speaker 1: they looked at us and they're like, well, they don't
- 57:18Speaker 1: know that you actually can fly. Like, let's say, we
- 57:21Speaker 1: don't have we don't understand that we have an ability
- 57:24Speaker 1: to fly because we don't know how to do it.
- 57:25Speaker 1: But there's something about if you were to just turn
- 57:27Speaker 1: your pinkies at this angle and float your middle thumb
- 57:29Speaker 1: all a sudden, We're like, oh my god, we haven't
- 57:30Speaker 1: figured it out yet. But there's a group that knows,
- 57:32Speaker 1: right follow me here, yep. They're like they Eddie and
- 57:36Speaker 1: Brandon and Kevin. They don't even not a fly, and mean,
- 57:38Speaker 1: if they knew how to fly, their world would change.
- 57:40Speaker 1: They'd be like, dang, I wish we've been flying the
- 57:41Speaker 1: whole time. But they don't have to fly, so they're
- 57:43Speaker 1: learning everything like they have to do on the ground.
- 57:45Speaker 2: You know what I mean, it's kind of kind of fly.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I mean, I know you're too flying.
- 57:52Speaker 2: But the problem is everyone watches cartoon.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Everybody flies maybe possibly who cares.
- 58:00Speaker 2: You're gonna be a great dad man, gonna be a
- 58:02Speaker 2: great dad. Vegetables too, All vegetables, no candy.
- 58:06Speaker 1: The best tasting vegetables are sweets.
- 58:09Speaker 2: You know what? That that is possible. That's possible for
- 58:13Speaker 2: them to just eat vegetables their whole life. That's possible.
- 58:23Speaker 1: You know what else is good? That Florida State Stanford game?
- 58:26Speaker 2: Oh did you do you stay up on watch second?
- 58:28Speaker 1: Watch the highlights the next day?
- 58:29Speaker 2: That's crazy at one am?
- 58:32Speaker 6: Did you watch it?
- 58:33Speaker 1: Yeah, well you watch the end of it?
- 58:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I watched the end of it.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Did you get what are you betting on it?
- 58:37Speaker 2: Of course? Yeah. All the nightcap gamsels are my like
- 58:40Speaker 2: makeup games because dude, I'm so.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Make up games, a whole series of games, because it's
- 58:44Speaker 1: like PJ Fleck when he's like we got to coming
- 58:46Speaker 1: Out Zone. We got and he's got the make up game.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Second, I lose so much money during the day Saturdays
- 58:52Speaker 2: that like Saturday night's my time to make up money.
- 58:55Speaker 2: And for the maybe it's because I lose more, or
- 58:58Speaker 2: it's that's happened too, But maybe it's because I can
- 59:00Speaker 2: really focus on those games. Is there's only like three
- 59:02Speaker 2: at the very end of the end of the night.
- 59:03Speaker 2: But man, that Florida State game. Do justice for Florida State.
- 59:06Speaker 2: That was a touchdown. Like I know that they and
- 59:09Speaker 2: they review it, but there was no there was no
- 59:11Speaker 2: video evidence. They didn't have the camrangle that they needed.
- 59:13Speaker 2: That's really what it came down to. They had a
- 59:15Speaker 2: camrangle that was probably on the five yard line that
- 59:17Speaker 2: looked the other way, so they really couldn't change it.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Really ill in the highlights. I just saw they reviewed
- 59:22Speaker 1: it and it wasn't a touchdown. So but you're saying
- 59:24Speaker 1: while watching.
- 59:24Speaker 2: It, watching it live, that was one percent touchdown.
- 59:27Speaker 1: I saw Florida Stake today had commented that minor belt
- 59:32Speaker 1: is safe till the end of the year.
- 59:34Speaker 2: Good good.
- 59:35Speaker 1: So yeah, who knows what that means, dude.
- 59:37Speaker 2: But Tommy Castiano, that guy, like, dude, he's the MVP
- 59:41Speaker 2: of that game, Like he he's the one that got
- 59:43Speaker 2: He went down the field maybe ran for like forty
- 59:45Speaker 2: yards and then got the targeting boom hitting the head. Dude,
- 59:48Speaker 2: he was dead for like thirty seconds. Then they had
- 59:51Speaker 2: to pull him out of the game. The backup came in.
- 59:53Speaker 2: It was crazy.
- 59:54Speaker 6: Did you see it, Kevin, I'm watching it right now.
- 59:55Speaker 2: So the backup comes in. This is the last drive
- 59:58Speaker 2: they got, like you know, ten seconds left. He throws
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: a hail Mary. They catch it at the twenty yard
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: line with two seconds left. He gets one more shot
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: in the end zone pass in appearance.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I saw I saw that on the highlight yea, And
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: so was.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Zero on the clock and they get one more play
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: and I swear that was a touchdown. They should have
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: won that game.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: You you must have lost money because he didn't.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: No, I want I want you, I want money. But
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: after the fact, I'm just like money aside, Florida. They
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: should have won.
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: It looks like a touchdown.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Was it so close? They could not overturn it because
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: it wasn't absolute.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: They just called it. And it was so weird too,
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: like those refs. There was the ref on the near side,
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: the camera side, and the ref on the other side
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: of the field. And dude, for three plays in a row,
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: they were off on the like one was one yard
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: that way, one was one yard the other way. They
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: were just off on the calls. So they'd always just
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: meet in the middle and be like short.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Speaking of money, Kevin did put in some betting futures.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: What three months ago? Two months ago?
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: Yeah, one of them, the Big Dog that was back
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: in July when we had the ago Pavia in here.
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: As soon as he left, I was like, man, why
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: not this guy thinks he knows he's gonna win the
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: He did say.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: He's gonna win the Heisman.
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: Yeah, he did. I put ten bucks on it the
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: day after he or the day that he left, and
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: that pays out two thousand dollars if he wins the Heisman?
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Does it have? Can you? Can you do a cash
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: match out now? Because I think he's probably in the
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: top six or seven now. Yeah, I can't if Vanderbilt
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: keeps winning like that. He played it great. I gets
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: l s U what a great game.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: I literally bet ten bucks yesterday for him to win
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: this win the Heisman because I was just like, this
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: dude is like lights out?
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: What does that pay? Eleven and thirty bucks?
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: It's pretty good?
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: Plus seven hundred right now? He's fourth right now?
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: Yes?
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: Four?
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: Wow?
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: It was plus twenty two hundred.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Yes, who's won?
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Can I guess?
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Oh? Oregon Dante Moore?
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Nope, Okay, okay, okay, let me guess again hersh walker.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Uh, he already wanted see him on the list, And
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: when's it again?
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: Third times a darum?
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Let me think who would be the favorite? Then?
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Uh, Indiana quarterback yep.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Is Jeremiah Loving? That is he in the race at all?
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: No, he keeps losing his helmet, so they after about
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: fit time you lose your helmet, they take every time
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: he gets tackled, his helmet comes off. His whole game
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: is him having to set out of play. It's like
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: a checkerboard going to play, set out of play.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: You're like, what's wrong with yours?
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: He's not wearing a chin strap. I have determined Jeremiah
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Love is not wearing as like a leather Oh my god.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: It drives me crazy.
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: I cannot catch out. You can't. Nope.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: All right, that's a good bet, dude. Two thousand we
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: are man. I had one. I had one bet that
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: was like ten touchdowns, would pay me thirty thousand dollars
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: one dollar to win thirty thousand.
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: Gosh, how many do you hit?
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You didn't close.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying it's so cool to see the
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: fact that, like I had a chance to win thirty
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: thousand dollars. I got two people out of like I
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: don't know eight eight players.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Oh you did ten touch overall. I thought you meant
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: like ten in a game.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: No, it was all the noon games. I just went
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: down and be like, all right.
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: I had a like a ten pick or a ten
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: parlay for quarterbacks just to throw a touchdown, and I
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: had like nine.
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: And then Jordan loved and I cashed out.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Oh you did?
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: I cashed out?
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Did you bet? I bet?
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: I think it was like fifteen bucks on you know,
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: each quarterback to throw two two touchdowns? Right?
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: What'd you cash out? How much money it was?
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: I think it was like one hundred and sixty. I
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: would have won eight hundred dollars.
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: But he didn't do it.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Oh, he didn't do it. That was a good clash
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: out there.
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: You go so glad.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Hey.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: When the Patriots went down it was ten to three,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I jumped on on Patriots minus two and a half
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: at five hundred bucks. Ended up winning another five hundred bucks.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, I was like, there's no way
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: the Patriots lose this game, Like the times are so bad?
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: Yeah, dang, they covered that easily.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Yeah, they did.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I can show it to you nice
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: you want to see it. I had had a really
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: good weekend. I think I had wanted like nine hundred
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: dollars overall.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: That's good.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Once I lost some, but I hit the over. In
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: the Arkansas, Texas A and M game, the over was
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: fifty seven and a half. They ended up scoring ninety
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: seven more easy. Well, what happened was, and this is
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: not inside information. I knew the weather because I knew
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: it was going to pour, So the over under kept
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: coming down. But I just look at the weather and
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: go like, it's not going to keep raining. And so
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I much of the reason it was so low was
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: because the weather factor. Yeah, you know the field would
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: be wet, but it's like I to work on a
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: golf course, like they maintained them greens, them greens get wet.
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: You know what they have.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: They have science, So I knew the science was going
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: to help. So I was like, oh, I'm betting over
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: big time because it's not going to rain during the game.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: I wouldn't have touched it if it was running during
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: the game. So unless my anside information is the radar
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: app uh, I was like, this is easy money and
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: so yeah, fifty seven and a half, and it was.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: They ended up scoring eighty seven points. I did hit
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Arkansas plus seven and a half.
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: Hey late, right, didn't they score late?
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: They scored a touchdown with like fifteen seconds.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Yeah you needed that.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Well, here's the thing. They were going to score either way.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: They needed two scores, and had they not got it,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: they had kick a field goal and tried the onside
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: kick for a hell Mary attempt. I figured they were
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: going to cover it case only needed was three points.
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: Yeah, so you were covered by half either way had
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: to cover. But I mean it is Arkansas, that's true.
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: They would you.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Here's the thing. You can't say that.
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: I'm not can't say it.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: No, you can't say that.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: He can't say what stuff like, well it is.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: I can say that. You can't say that.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: How do you think you are having?
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Yes, it's wrong with you. Only I do that. Let
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: me see. Let me see here, cash, I do have
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: tailor when the heisman still I bet fifty bucks for
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars winter.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: I mean he's a good player.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Yeah, just see another ones I won. I at the
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Bengals plus five and a half when they won the
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: game on Thursday, so I bet that I did. Amy
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: told us to bet the Bears in her psychic prediction.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: So I bet the Bears minus four and a half
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: and I put two hundred fifty bucks on that, and
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: it got close. I cashed out because the Bears suck
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: and they ended up winning. They ended up covering big time,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: but I cashed out at three ninety. I bet two
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: to fifteen, cash out three ninety. So I hit the
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Chiefs minus two and a half. Oh yeah, no, that
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: was the Lions last week. Soon I was, yeah, dang,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: where'd you get that? No, I'm lost, man.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: He stole that line.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, Okay, that's it. Everybody good, good man.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: We'll see you later on this week. Thanks to coach.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Thanks to coach PJ.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Fleck.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: I like that guy, yeah, just like the styles.
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: Cool.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: He's also he's a he's like got a good person.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: He's in his forties. Him and I born the same year.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: It's probably like some kind of like astrology stuff says,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: you know, just two awesome people.
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: To just hey you out stars. Are you know I'm
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: born in nineteen eighty like me.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: We were watching some show, Oh my wife and are
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: watching the show called Wayward and so it's on Netflix
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: and it's like a show back in time, but they're
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: back in time in like ninety nine.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Let's go that was our time.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Well, this is what sucks. What sucks is our times
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: are now starting to be when they shoot the shows
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: from back in time. That's okay, Like period pieces are
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: starting to be back when our periods.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: What are they are they wearing like loose little bagger.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and the music's all us and like they're playing
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: all the songs. I'm like singing along and watch.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: Like, yeah, I bet that's what old people feel like
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: when they will they do oldie stuff, you know, like
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: they go back to nineteen sixty eight.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: So yeah, we had that. All right, that's it. Thank
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: you guys. We'll see you later on this week. Appreciate you. Budworks,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: gotcha all right? Goodbye?
