A fire broke out early Friday at the historic Yonkers Apartments on 17th and Thomas—built in 1910 and undergoing major renovations since 2022. Firefighters arrived just after 7 AM, contained the blaze to the exterior, and thankfully, no one was injured since the building was unoccupied.
