- 0:24Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:28Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley along with
- 0:32Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Jerry Caldwell.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Today is frid Day, April eleventh, twenty twenty five. Welcome
- 0:45Speaker 1: to the end of the week. Congratulations, you've made it
- 0:47Speaker 1: and now you're here to enjoy it with us, So
- 0:50Speaker 1: we will make your Friday even better on top of
- 0:53Speaker 1: the fact that it is Friday. And speaking of things
- 0:57Speaker 1: that are really really good, Jerry, do you have something
- 1:01Speaker 1: done to your hair? Oh?
- 1:03Speaker 3: I just I tried a new technique last night to
- 1:06Speaker 3: you know, enhance the curls and all of that. Then
- 1:09Speaker 3: I think it might have worked a little too well.
- 1:12Speaker 3: My head is out of control right now. Did you
- 1:18Speaker 3: say jizz?
- 1:21Speaker 4: Uh?
- 1:21Speaker 1: No? Uh? What did you do to the hair there?
- 1:23Speaker 2: Jar Uh?
- 1:26Speaker 1: Just I said jazz. You jazzed it up? Oh, jazz
- 1:30Speaker 1: jazzed it up? Yeah? Yeah, that's it. Uh, just a
- 1:34Speaker 1: new conditioner, new way to dry it. Just stick your
- 1:40Speaker 1: head out the car window like a dog.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Oh no, that'll that'll give me the lucious Malfoy look.
- 1:45Speaker 3: If I want the uh, if I want the curls,
- 1:49Speaker 3: then you know, you gotta leave it wet. You gotta
- 1:51Speaker 3: really get it conditioned, you know you you do the
- 1:54Speaker 3: upscrunch and you squeeze it and hang on to it
- 1:57Speaker 3: for a little while.
- 1:58Speaker 1: And I think my wife uses less technical terms for
- 2:03Speaker 1: her hair than you've just used in the last thirty seconds.
- 2:08Speaker 3: But its great, well, thank you, thank you. It looks
- 2:11Speaker 3: good on you.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Thank you. Would you ever have any interest in doing
- 2:16Speaker 1: Trey's hair, because I, for one, would love to see
- 2:20Speaker 1: your long, wavy blonde locks right now on Trey. I
- 2:24Speaker 1: think that would look really, really fun.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Uh, Trey's got a different hair texture, He's got a I.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Realized there would be some work involved, but I think
- 2:33Speaker 1: Trey taking on a little bit of that uh point
- 2:38Speaker 1: break body, Patrick Swayze from Point Break. Look, I think Trey,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I think you could go with that.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Would you just keep your dirty sexual fantasies to yourself.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You've never wanted to be a to be a surfer bra.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Never never was.
- 2:57Speaker 1: You're more Johnny Utah than yeah. Okay, okay, fair enough,
- 3:03Speaker 1: all right today, And.
- 3:04Speaker 5: This is coming from the man who has basically had
- 3:07Speaker 5: a buzz haircut for twenty eight plus years.
- 3:10Speaker 1: It's true. Yeah, I like if we're all doing some
- 3:15Speaker 1: sort of version of Keanu Reeves characters throughout his career,
- 3:20Speaker 1: Trey is sort of doing the Johnny Utah, I am
- 3:23Speaker 1: doing whatever his character's name was in Speed with the
- 3:27Speaker 1: short short haircut.
- 3:29Speaker 4: You're you're pretty close to Neo.
- 3:32Speaker 1: You think, so, Okay. I don't know what Jerry's version
- 3:36Speaker 1: would because I don't really recall. I guess it would
- 3:39Speaker 1: be Bill and Ted's, even though he had dark hair.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Bill and Ted. Somewhere between Bill and Ted and the
- 3:50Speaker 3: names of the movies are escaping me.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Two long foo. Thanks for everything, Julie Newmar, there you go.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Okay, So, Patrick Swayze, I'll take that. I didn't say
- 4:02Speaker 1: I didn't think Keanu Reeves was in that they were
- 4:04Speaker 1: staying with the Keanu Reeves thing. Okay. Anyway, it is
- 4:07Speaker 1: Friday inside the Treehouse. And look, I think we have
- 4:13Speaker 1: a rare unique talent that we can find something funny
- 4:17Speaker 1: in just about any story and just about any news story.
- 4:21Speaker 1: We can find something funny even if it doesn't seem
- 4:25Speaker 1: funny on the surface. And the most recent example of that.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Is this.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Okay, a Dallas man, Okay, a Texas man has been
- 4:38Speaker 1: arrested after allegedly pouring scalding hot soup on his girlfriend. Okay,
- 4:45Speaker 1: thirty five year old texasman was arrested after allegedly pouring
- 4:48Speaker 1: hot soup on his sixty five year old girlfriend, causing
- 4:52Speaker 1: third degree burns because she was talking too much. He
- 4:55Speaker 1: told police, Now, I know this is bad. It's a
- 5:01Speaker 1: very ugly story. It's wrong, and if guilty, he deserves
- 5:06Speaker 1: the full punishment under the law. However, when you're dating
- 5:13Speaker 1: a sixty five year old woman and you're thirty five,
- 5:16Speaker 1: aren't accidents just gonna happen when it comes to soup delivery.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Who's delivering the soup? Well, according to the arresting officers,
- 5:30Speaker 1: he was, but he was doing it in an aggressive
- 5:33Speaker 1: manner and he dumped it on his sixty five year
- 5:35Speaker 1: old girlfriend. Okay, yeah, I'll give you I'll give you
- 5:43Speaker 1: a little more detail here. Alexander McDavid from Waco was
- 5:47Speaker 1: hit with multiple charges, including resisting arrest, terroristic threat of
- 5:52Speaker 1: family or household members, assault with bodily injury, continues violence
- 5:56Speaker 1: against family, and injury to an elderly person who also
- 5:59Speaker 1: happens to his girlfriend.
- 6:03Speaker 4: A terroristic threat.
- 6:06Speaker 1: That's like, oh, I'll kill you. Or I'm going to
- 6:09Speaker 1: dump this hot navy bean soup all over your face,
- 6:12Speaker 1: assualt with a deadly dinner. Mm hmm. I I mean,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I not since the Meals on Wheels dude punched punched
- 6:24Speaker 1: her in the face, has there ever been such a
- 6:27Speaker 1: tragedy of justice.
- 6:31Speaker 5: I mean, I am guessing that guy is sitting in
- 6:33Speaker 5: a jail cell right now, really rethinking his life choices.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah, because if that's if that's the last thing you
- 6:42Speaker 1: get before going into prison.
- 6:46Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Maybe maybe maybe things are looking up for his next relationship.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Odds are will be much younger, yeah, and tighter.

- 8:52Speaker 1: That is Jerry Caldwell. Today is Friday, April eleventh, twenty
- 8:58Speaker 1: twenty five, discussing so far today the hot soup being
- 9:04Speaker 1: poured on an old lady and how wrong that is
- 9:09Speaker 1: in general, but more specifically, how wrong our jokes were.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And we should apologize now before anyone gets all up
- 9:16Speaker 1: in arms about it. So we are mostly sorry. Okay,
- 9:24Speaker 1: if you say so, all right, let's make up for that.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Let's make up for that with something really really fun
- 9:32Speaker 1: that our good friend Trey found. And you know, if
- 9:34Speaker 1: Trey found it and wants to share it with us
- 9:36Speaker 1: inside the treehouse, well you know it's gotta be good.
- 9:42Speaker 1: So here now is a special commercial from Lower Louisiana
- 9:47Speaker 1: for Showtime Furniture.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Oh baby, Mama put him out and he ain't got
- 9:52Speaker 5: no moniture.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Let him have it, lady, l this.
- 9:55Speaker 5: Made need a bad and only get aboard and think
- 9:58Speaker 5: the nine of up probably get.
- 9:59Speaker 1: A moment without Come on, baby, there is so much
- 10:04Speaker 1: going on in this tightly in this jam packed commercial
- 10:09Speaker 1: show Time Home Furnishings, Lafayette, Oppolusis and Eunice. I don't
- 10:15Speaker 1: know how old this commercial is. I don't know if
- 10:18Speaker 1: this business is still open.
- 10:22Speaker 4: How could it not be?
- 10:24Speaker 1: I know, I mean with with advertising like this, I mean,
- 10:27Speaker 1: my goodness, So I'll start this over. So there are
- 10:32Speaker 1: three people in this commercial. In the commercial, you've got
- 10:37Speaker 1: scenes in various parts of show Time Home Furnishings. You've
- 10:41Speaker 1: got beds, you got TVs, you got couches, all sorts
- 10:44Speaker 1: of stuff on display at the home furniture store. You've
- 10:47Speaker 1: got the what I assume to be the owner, who
- 10:51Speaker 1: is an excellent pitchman. By the way, he's right up
- 10:53Speaker 1: there with the twelve twelve loke twelve guy with a
- 10:55Speaker 1: spinny arm. He wants to make sure you get a
- 10:59Speaker 1: good deal on some furniture. Okay, uh. He's a white
- 11:03Speaker 1: man and he sounds very much like a Cajun man.
- 11:07Speaker 1: And then there's two other actors in the commercial. You've
- 11:10Speaker 1: got a lovely large African American woman and a kind
- 11:15Speaker 1: of sheepish looking, mild mannered African American male kind of
- 11:20Speaker 1: playing the parts throughout the commercial. So let's let's go
- 11:23Speaker 1: back to the beginning now of Showtime Home Furnishings. Inside
- 11:26Speaker 1: the treehouse, this.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Man needs help. His baby mama put him out, and
- 11:31Speaker 2: he ain't got no furniture. Let him have it, Busla
- 11:34Speaker 2: bus Like this man need a bed and.
- 11:36Speaker 5: Only get aboarded fifty nine a month, you gonna get
- 11:38Speaker 5: another one without a bad Come on, baby, his man
- 11:41Speaker 5: is TV for his bedroom only get forwarded fifty nine
- 11:43Speaker 5: out of the month.
- 11:44Speaker 2: You know you got all them children seventy three answers, baby,
- 11:47Speaker 2: both like, Well, like, this man needs air conditions. It's
- 11:49Speaker 2: hot on the streets and he only gets paid more
- 11:51Speaker 2: than nine out of the month. I'll put him down, baby,
- 11:54Speaker 2: no man, no grudgect all the time.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Wow, there is a lot to unpack here, Trey. Since
- 12:04Speaker 1: you're the one that found this gym, where would you
- 12:07Speaker 1: like to start?
- 12:10Speaker 5: Well, the guy, the pitch man, he sounds like, uh,
- 12:15Speaker 5: the dad from water Boy that shows up at the end.
- 12:18Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I couldn't place it. I knew it, I knew it
- 12:22Speaker 1: sounded familiar. That's it.
- 12:26Speaker 6: Uh.
- 12:26Speaker 4: And you know it's just Louisiana is just a hidden
- 12:31Speaker 4: gym of things.
- 12:35Speaker 1: M h.
- 12:36Speaker 4: And I'm happy to say I just google they are
- 12:38Speaker 4: still in business. God bless them again. How could you
- 12:43Speaker 4: not be? How are people not lining up? You know what?
- 12:48Speaker 1: Maybe they are? I mean, I'm kind of I'm kind
- 12:53Speaker 1: of envious of Lafayette Oppelusis and Eunice Louisiana. I mean,
- 12:57Speaker 1: how do I not have this store down the street
- 13:00Speaker 1: that I can go to and just enjoy things and
- 13:04Speaker 1: people watch and beg to be in their commercial.
- 13:10Speaker 3: He'd probably let you, uh maybe, wow, that's amazing the okay,
- 13:18Speaker 3: what do you say at the end, like no credit check?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Can we hear this again? Make sure.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I'll put him down, David, no credit all.
- 13:27Speaker 1: The time, no money down, no credit check all the time.
- 13:30Speaker 1: And then the lovely lady at the end who's missing
- 13:33Speaker 1: about seven or eighteen mouthing to the camera call me
- 13:37Speaker 1: that sold me right there?
- 13:39Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 13:40Speaker 1: Yeah that uh, I mean, how how could it not.
- 13:48Speaker 5: To tie it all back in? She kind of looks
- 13:51Speaker 5: like Wesley snipes into one food.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Thanks for everything, Okay, yeah, I can see that. I
- 13:59Speaker 1: was thinking more of one of the I was thinking
- 14:04Speaker 1: more Arsenio Hall when he portrays one of the women
- 14:08Speaker 1: in coming to America. But I think you may be
- 14:13Speaker 1: uh more on point there, Trey.
- 14:16Speaker 3: I would also like to point out she takes care
- 14:18Speaker 3: of the tea she has remaining.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:22Speaker 1: They are very white, they are very clean. Yeah, and
- 14:29Speaker 1: clearly she doesn't let them get in the way of
- 14:30Speaker 1: a good deal. I'm kind of thinking we do a
- 14:36Speaker 1: treehouse rugue trip to show Time home Furnishings and appelusis Louisiana.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Yeah, which which store? I mean?
- 14:44Speaker 5: I think we need to call ahead and see you
- 14:45Speaker 5: know where the boss the bosses are that day. Yeah,
- 14:50Speaker 5: because you wouldn't you wouldn't want to go and not
- 14:52Speaker 5: see the stars.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Oh, you have to see the stars.
- 14:56Speaker 2: You have to.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I mean, I want to see Jerry crawling around on
- 15:01Speaker 1: bed with this lady. I'm so there, Trey, where did
- 15:09Speaker 1: you find this Internet? That's what were you looking at?
- 15:16Speaker 1: What were you looking at online? That the Internet thought?
- 15:19Speaker 1: Trey needs to see this furniture ad Damn.
- 15:23Speaker 4: My algorithm is a very special thing.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I was about to say, it's your algorithm. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I like. I like how we can all blame the
- 15:31Speaker 1: algorithm for our choices in life.
- 15:34Speaker 5: I have I have worked hard to refine it to
- 15:37Speaker 5: a magical a magical algorithm of of just sheer stupidity.
- 15:44Speaker 1: You're like Oz, but with the Internet, you're the You're
- 15:48Speaker 1: the wizard of the Internet. Trey, thank you from the
- 15:54Speaker 1: bottom of my heart, thank you for this. I appreciate.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Mama put him out and he ain't got no moniture.
- 16:02Speaker 7: Let him have it.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Bus Like boys like this man need a bed and.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Only get a boarded sixty nine a month.
- 16:07Speaker 2: You're gonna get another one without a bad Come on, baby,
- 16:09Speaker 2: this man needs TV for his bedroom. Only get a
- 16:12Speaker 2: fard fifty nine hours a month. You know you got
- 16:13Speaker 2: all them children seventy three answers, baby buck like b's
- 16:17Speaker 2: like this man needs air conditions. It's hot on the
- 16:19Speaker 2: streets and he only gets paid forty nine hours a month.
- 16:21Speaker 2: I'll put him down, baby, No one now, no project.
- 16:25Speaker 2: All the time.
- 16:27Speaker 3: He called her, he called her boss lady twice in
- 16:33Speaker 3: that so. Is she the owner of Showtime Home Furnishings? Uh, Jerry,
- 16:39Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure this lady owns whatever the hell she.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Wants, and she's checking references.
- 16:48Speaker 1: That's why she's on the phone. At the end, you're

- 17:41Speaker 1: He's Trey Trenholm. That is Jerry Calledwell and this is
- 17:45Speaker 1: the Treehouse Show for Friday, April eleventh, twenty twenty five.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Once again, Trey, thank you for sharing the Showtime at
- 17:54Speaker 1: the Home Furnishings Store. Sorry, not Showtime at the Apollo,
- 17:58Speaker 1: just show Time Home Furnishings ad from Louisiana. Thank you,
- 18:01Speaker 1: Thank you very much. You've helped make this Friday truly special.
- 18:05Speaker 1: You're welcome in the most special of senses. So let's
- 18:11Speaker 1: tap into something else that I know is very fond
- 18:13Speaker 1: to you, Trey, and that is ancient civilizations and the
- 18:18Speaker 1: possible existence of them and the possible ties to other
- 18:25Speaker 1: worldly civilizations. Tray, did you hear about the new underwater
- 18:30Speaker 1: pyramid found off the coast of Taiwan.
- 18:34Speaker 5: I have not heard about that one specifically, but there
- 18:36Speaker 5: have been many, many underwater pyramids and structures found all
- 18:42Speaker 5: over the world.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Well, a new one has been discovered near Taiwan, and
- 18:47Speaker 1: it may rewrite that's a really hard word to say.
- 18:50Speaker 1: It may rewrite everything we thought we knew about the
- 18:54Speaker 1: ancient world. Sitting just eighty two feet below the sea
- 18:56Speaker 1: level near the Ryuqi Islands of Japan, a mysterious eye
- 19:00Speaker 1: object called the Yonaguni Monument continues to stump and astonish
- 19:04Speaker 1: researchers despite its discovery in nineteen eighty six. All Right,
- 19:10Speaker 1: I guess it's not a brand new discovery, but it's
- 19:12Speaker 1: brand new to me. Trade did you know about this
- 19:13Speaker 1: underwater pyramid until now?
- 19:17Speaker 5: Do you want the conspiracy part of this? Or or well,
- 19:23Speaker 5: there's there is a conspiracy going that says that the
- 19:30Speaker 5: world as a whole, like they've they discovered all these
- 19:34Speaker 5: underwater monuments around Cuba decades ago, and there's a whole
- 19:38Speaker 5: conspiracy theory that they try to keep them under wraps
- 19:40Speaker 5: because it potentially debunks a lot of the history we've
- 19:44Speaker 5: been taught.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm for that land on me? Or is it
- 19:53Speaker 1: everything that you just said?
- 19:55Speaker 4: It's pretty much.
- 19:55Speaker 5: I mean, it's just the timeline. I mean, man walking
- 20:01Speaker 5: in North America. Just I'll go with that. The Clovis
- 20:04Speaker 5: theory was forever considered the fact that people came over
- 20:08Speaker 5: here from the bearing straight during the Ice Age, you know,
- 20:11Speaker 5: nine to eleven thousand years ago. Well, we now have
- 20:15Speaker 5: found footprints, I mean multiple footprints that they have dated
- 20:19Speaker 5: twenty three to twenty five thousand years ago. That is now,
- 20:23Speaker 5: so we're all and very possibly that people came up
- 20:26Speaker 5: from South America. It's just as plausible as they did
- 20:31Speaker 5: coming from over the bearing straight down.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Gotcha.
- 20:35Speaker 5: And just all sorts of of the timeline of history
- 20:38Speaker 5: of when did we become when did we go from
- 20:42Speaker 5: hunter gatherers to you know, having civilizations. You know, there's
- 20:49Speaker 5: a place in Turkey, go Beckley Tepee that was over
- 20:54Speaker 5: nine thousand years ago, definitely a civilization. But for the
- 20:58Speaker 5: timeline of history, we weren't supposed to be really in
- 21:03Speaker 5: making civilizations at that point. We were still supposed to
- 21:05Speaker 5: be more in the hunter gatherer stage.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Goshly not with that kind of an accuracy in their architecture.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Well, and that's the other thing is from the pyramids
- 21:15Speaker 5: in Egypt to all of the ruins in South America,
- 21:20Speaker 5: Central and South America, Mayan Aztec incas. The knowledge of
- 21:27Speaker 5: astronomy the star and not just its short term I
- 21:31Speaker 5: mean over celestial events that happened once every thirty fifty
- 21:34Speaker 5: years they knew about they made monuments to how did they.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Get that knowledge?
- 21:39Speaker 1: So basically in our timeline as a species, in our
- 21:44Speaker 1: timeline as humans, all these pyramids and structures around the world,
- 21:50Speaker 1: we were not smart enough nor did we have the
- 21:53Speaker 1: technological know how to accomplish these things. Based on the
- 21:57Speaker 1: history we know, right.
- 21:59Speaker 4: We would be hard pressed to rebuild the pyramids today,
- 22:03Speaker 4: got it.
- 22:04Speaker 5: Well, this is one of the things a lot of
- 22:06Speaker 5: people don't realize is the pyramids when they were built
- 22:09Speaker 5: were smooth, shiny.
- 22:12Speaker 4: They weren't the blocks you see now. Those were all
- 22:15Speaker 4: covered up.
- 22:15Speaker 5: I mean it's and the fact that they align with
- 22:19Speaker 5: different as astronomical events say it would be we would
- 22:26Speaker 5: be hard pressed to do it with the accuracy they did, right.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Yeah, people forget that the pyramids in their original form
- 22:33Speaker 1: looked like they were built by skilled technicians because they
- 22:38Speaker 1: were not the day laborer versions that we see today.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Right.
- 22:43Speaker 1: But this new pyramid about eighty two feet below sea
- 22:47Speaker 1: level near Taiwan, The giant structure with sharp angled steps,
- 22:52Speaker 1: stands roughly ninety feet tall and appears to be made
- 22:54Speaker 1: entirely of stone, leading many to believe it was man made. However,
- 22:59Speaker 1: tests of the stones show it would be over ten
- 23:02Speaker 1: thousand years old, meaning that if a civilization built this
- 23:05Speaker 1: pyramid by hand, it would have taken place before this
- 23:08Speaker 1: region sank underwater more than twelve thousand years ago. That
- 23:12Speaker 1: would place it further back in history than most other
- 23:14Speaker 1: ancient structures by several thousand years, including the Egyptian pyramids
- 23:19Speaker 1: and Stone Hinge. So currently, scientists believe the ability for
- 23:23Speaker 1: humans to construct large structures like temples and pyramids of
- 23:27Speaker 1: all alongside the development of agriculture twelve thousand years ago.
- 23:30Speaker 1: If an advanced society was already building giant step pyramids
- 23:33Speaker 1: long before this time, however, it could change the history
- 23:35Speaker 1: books forever and reveal another lost tribe of humans, just
- 23:39Speaker 1: like the myths of at Lentis. I mean, and that's
- 23:44Speaker 1: and the conspiracy that you were talking about, Trey, is
- 23:46Speaker 1: that if all this stuff is true, they try to
- 23:48Speaker 1: suppress they try to suppress this information because most of
- 23:52Speaker 1: us just can't handle it. Well.
- 23:55Speaker 5: It changes the timeline, and there are religious implications, but
- 23:59Speaker 5: it just it changes the timeline we've been taught of things.
- 24:02Speaker 5: I mean, Plato wrote about Atlantis, where did he hear
- 24:08Speaker 5: about it, well, that was from miss you know, uh
- 24:12Speaker 5: of you know, generations ago. Maybe the fact, like the Greeks,
- 24:16Speaker 5: we considered the founders of modern civilization, we now know
- 24:20Speaker 5: they basically copied everything.
- 24:22Speaker 1: That makes sense because us as humans, it's very rare
- 24:25Speaker 1: we do something original. It's usually we see someone doing
- 24:28Speaker 1: it and then.
- 24:29Speaker 4: We do it well. And here here's the other.
- 24:30Speaker 5: Like the pyramids, many of the Central and South American pyramids,
- 24:34Speaker 5: and by the way, there are a lot of pyramids
- 24:36Speaker 5: in North America. People just don't realize, but the bigger
- 24:40Speaker 5: ones were built on top of smaller pyramids. They're like, oh, hey,
- 24:44Speaker 5: we like that design. Well, let's we'll make it bigger.
- 24:46Speaker 5: We'll go on top of it.
- 24:48Speaker 4: We don't, we don't know what the anything.
- 24:52Speaker 5: You know, it's amazing how little we know about the
- 24:54Speaker 5: Egyptian pyramids because they limit access and everything else.
- 25:00Speaker 4: That whole desert we've basically we've.
- 25:03Speaker 5: Looked at about five percent of it, and so there's
- 25:06Speaker 5: there's a lot out there that you know, how do
- 25:09Speaker 5: we have How did cartographers from the fifteen hundreds have
- 25:13Speaker 5: an outline of Antarctica when no one had been there?
- 25:19Speaker 1: Interesting question it is, I've always wondered how they did
- 25:23Speaker 1: coastlines back then. Anyway, it's like some poor cartographer having
- 25:29Speaker 1: a pin on a piece of paper having to just
- 25:34Speaker 1: hold it there as they go around the coastlines and
- 25:37Speaker 1: just try to slowly make the little indentations for the
- 25:40Speaker 1: bays and the keys and all these things. I mean,
- 25:44Speaker 1: you talk about a sucky job. And it's not like
- 25:47Speaker 1: your environment is still because you're in the ocean, so
- 25:50Speaker 1: it's going up and down. How do we know that
- 25:52Speaker 1: some of those lines on these ancient maps are even accurate.
- 25:56Speaker 1: It might have just been a bump in the waves,
- 25:59Speaker 1: especially before they invented the sextant. That too, because if
- 26:06Speaker 1: you want to keep a man still, you put him
- 26:08Speaker 1: on a sextant.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Hard at least give him one.
- 26:16Speaker 1: An article looks a little squidly.

- 27:16Speaker 1: The Treehouse Show, The Treehouse Show podcast, Treehouse TV is on.
- 27:20Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Maley, He's Trey Trenholm.
- 27:23Speaker 1: That there is Jerry Caldwell. On Friday, April eleven, twenty
- 27:26Speaker 1: twenty five, we were just talking about that. We were
- 27:30Speaker 1: just talking about the pyramid that was discovered off the
- 27:32Speaker 1: coast of Taiwan, ninety feet below the surface of the
- 27:36Speaker 1: sea I'm sorry, eighty two feet below the surface of
- 27:38Speaker 1: the sea, ninety feet tall from the ocean floor. And
- 27:43Speaker 1: it was found this new pyramid was found in nineteen
- 27:46Speaker 1: eighty six, and it dispels a lot of what we
- 27:49Speaker 1: thought we knew of our own civilization and the timing
- 27:52Speaker 1: of it. And Trey, you said, there's there's pyramids around
- 27:56Speaker 1: the world, and there's even some in North America.
- 27:59Speaker 4: Yeah, there's quite a few. Uh, they're all is that
- 28:03Speaker 4: is that.
- 28:04Speaker 5: I'm sorry, go ahead, they're they're more they're earth made,
- 28:07Speaker 5: like a dirt work. But yeah, they're Louisiana, Mississippi all
- 28:11Speaker 5: the way up to Ohio. There's the there's I forgot
- 28:14Speaker 5: the name of it, but it's like a serpent uh
- 28:16Speaker 5: deal in Ohio that uh.
- 28:20Speaker 4: And the sad thing is we don't really.
- 28:22Speaker 5: Know the full extent of what was done because as
- 28:25Speaker 5: you know, as typical of America, uh, when we were
- 28:28Speaker 5: building and moving west, you know, we just they just
- 28:32Speaker 5: looked at, oh, hey, that's a big pile of dirt.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Well, well we'll just destroy it and and give no
- 28:38Speaker 4: thought to the fact that it might have had some
- 28:40Speaker 4: ancient uh meaning or you know, and be sacred.
- 28:45Speaker 1: That's a very American thing, it is. Uh, those those
- 28:50Speaker 1: southern piles of dirt that that were earth made pyramids
- 28:53Speaker 1: and may have had some ancient historical significance. Is that
- 28:58Speaker 1: is that just where Bucki's built all of its new locations,
- 29:04Speaker 1: it's like pyramids and beaver nuggets.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Yeah, no, there, I can't remember.
- 29:08Speaker 5: There's in eastern Louisiana and Mississippi there there are still
- 29:13Speaker 5: pyramids that again all have yeah a lot of times
- 29:18Speaker 5: or whether it be with the equinox or whatever have
- 29:21Speaker 5: or as astronomically aligned.
- 29:24Speaker 4: That's right.
- 29:25Speaker 5: But yeah, for and uh so they're they're all all
- 29:30Speaker 5: have meaning and they're all still being studied because for
- 29:33Speaker 5: many years we were just too stupid to go, hey,
- 29:35Speaker 5: that that's an interesting pyramid shape.
- 29:38Speaker 4: It might mean something.
- 29:41Speaker 1: But yeah, you're right, because I can just imagine, even
- 29:44Speaker 1: by today's standards, if we find a really well styled
- 29:49Speaker 1: pile of dirt, we we don't stop and think, most
- 29:53Speaker 1: of us, that there may be some significance to it.
- 29:58Speaker 1: There may not be a completely the natural thing. There
- 30:01Speaker 1: may be a reason behind it that we're just too
- 30:03Speaker 1: stupid to grasp now.
- 30:07Speaker 5: But and also talking about the like kind of forbidden history,
- 30:10Speaker 5: because what it all it points to is the fact
- 30:13Speaker 5: that there were as a civilization before during the Ice Age,
- 30:18Speaker 5: before the Ice Age, somewhere in the twelve to twenty
- 30:21Speaker 5: five thousand years ago.
- 30:23Speaker 1: And part of the reason that this upsets so many
- 30:25Speaker 1: people is because it messes with the timeline in the Bible.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Isn't that what we're talking about? It it makes people
- 30:31Speaker 1: question some things.
- 30:32Speaker 5: Yes, yes, but also again like our knowledge of you know,
- 30:38Speaker 5: we we have forever thought the Greeks were basically founded
- 30:41Speaker 5: modern civilization, and now more and more we're finding.
- 30:44Speaker 4: No, they didn't. They really just copied everything from a
- 30:47Speaker 4: previous civilization.
- 30:49Speaker 1: But like, yeah, yeah, it turns out the Greeks were
- 30:51Speaker 1: not the Ogs. They were more than Millie Vanilli's of history.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Right.
- 30:54Speaker 5: And this also, you know, it's not just a Christian
- 30:57Speaker 5: it has Jewish and Muslim implication too.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but religious across the board. Yeah, that makes sense.
- 31:03Speaker 5: Yeah, Turkey with go Beckley Teppe, they have recently passed
- 31:07Speaker 5: the law basically saying yeah, we're not gonna allow any
- 31:09Speaker 5: more excavation or study of it beyond what's done for
- 31:13Speaker 5: another one hundred years.
- 31:14Speaker 1: No, why really, Yeah, what are they hiding? That's a
- 31:21Speaker 1: great question, and they're not going to let us dig
- 31:24Speaker 1: to find out that's correct. Can we set aside the
- 31:28Speaker 1: tariff war for a little bit. Can we just go
- 31:30Speaker 1: like going to Turkey and be like, what do you
- 31:32Speaker 1: have in there? Show us well way of all tariff stuff,
- 31:36Speaker 1: Let us dig a little bit, show us what's down there.
- 31:38Speaker 5: It's not just Turkey, it's again, won't the Egyptians. The
- 31:42Speaker 5: Egyptians have long they've been very selective and very restrictive
- 31:47Speaker 5: on you know what, They will allow people to study
- 31:50Speaker 5: in and around the pyramids and other parts of the
- 31:53Speaker 5: desert where people speculate there may be more and.
- 31:56Speaker 1: The Egyptians may be geniuses. Because what do they do,
- 31:58Speaker 1: What do they do to distract us from what may
- 32:02Speaker 1: be the truth? They pull out all these shiny artifacts
- 32:06Speaker 1: and dangle them in front of our faces and say,
- 32:08Speaker 1: over here, over here, silly people, go look over here
- 32:11Speaker 1: at the shiny Ramsey statue. Look we found we found
- 32:14Speaker 1: King tot. Let's go look at this corpse. Blah blah blah.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Never mind the alien civilization that's hiding at the base
- 32:19Speaker 1: of this pyramid. Do I have it about right? Yeah?
- 32:23Speaker 4: Pretty much?
- 32:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, see I don't need fifteen seasons of ancient civilizations.
- 32:29Speaker 4: I got it now. And then don't don't ever get
- 32:31Speaker 4: started on Antarctica.
- 32:33Speaker 1: What's in antarctica? Tray? That's that's good. That's the question,
- 32:38Speaker 1: is the question.

- 33:34Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Mally. He is Trey Trendholm. That there is
- 33:37Speaker 1: Jerry called Well and today is Fredday April eleven, twenty
- 33:43Speaker 1: twenty five. Let's celebrate Trey with some earth. Let's celebrate
- 33:56Speaker 1: with some birthdays here inside the Treehouse, just like we
- 33:59Speaker 1: played it all right once again Friday, April eleven, twenty
- 34:03Speaker 1: twenty five. Birthdays Today. YouTube Makeup Star of twenty fifteen,
- 34:07Speaker 1: Michelle Fan turns thirty eight. She has over one billion
- 34:14Speaker 1: views eight point eight million subscribers. It's probably even more
- 34:18Speaker 1: than that now, but Michelle Fan YouTube Makeup Star is
- 34:22Speaker 1: thirty eight today. Just keep in mind that while growing
- 34:27Speaker 1: up to be a YouTuber might be somewhat of a
- 34:30Speaker 1: goal for an occupation in life, you may not make
- 34:33Speaker 1: it as big as some of these people because chances
- 34:35Speaker 1: are the thing you want to do has already been done,
- 34:38Speaker 1: and if it hasn't, then someone's probably already doing it
- 34:41Speaker 1: on OnlyFans. Other birthdays today, Canadian pop star Lights is
- 34:50Speaker 1: thirty eight The Lights Seeings, Drive, My Soul, Drive My
- 34:55Speaker 1: Soul and Toes, probably popular soundtrack on OnlyFans. Victoria's secret
- 35:01Speaker 1: model Alessandra Ambrosio turns forty four. Trey, you're a You're
- 35:09Speaker 1: a big trecky guy. I don't know how deep your
- 35:16Speaker 1: nerd goes, right. I like Star Wars. You like Star Wars,
- 35:23Speaker 1: you love Star Trek. I like Star Trek. What are
- 35:27Speaker 1: your thoughts on Battlestar Galactica?
- 35:30Speaker 4: Which one.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Good question? I I the one with Tricia Helfer, who
- 35:41Speaker 1: played Blonde Cylon Number six on Battlestar Galactica. So I'm
- 35:46Speaker 1: guessing a newer version of battle Star Galacta.
- 35:48Speaker 4: I mean, I've grew up.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Sorry, I don't. I don't even know how many versions
- 35:53Speaker 1: of Battlestar Galactica. There are two? Oh okay, thank you.
- 35:58Speaker 5: Never really got into the REMA enjoyed grew up on
- 36:02Speaker 5: the uh, the original. I'm trying to think of the
- 36:08Speaker 5: guy's name it was on that, but.
- 36:12Speaker 4: You know it was it was kind of a corny
- 36:15Speaker 4: sci fi show and in those days, but uh, it was.
- 36:19Speaker 5: It was fun to watch. Never, it never really had
- 36:24Speaker 5: the storyline. I could never think of the of a
- 36:26Speaker 5: storyline that I was really that interested in remake. It's
- 36:29Speaker 5: not like where Star Wars was just kind of this
- 36:31Speaker 5: epic series Star Trek had. I mean, I really grab
- 36:37Speaker 5: more of the next generation than than the original Star Trek.
- 36:40Speaker 4: But uh, that was kind of an.
- 36:44Speaker 5: Endless storyline. But Battlestar Galactose it was okay, Uh.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Jerry, you strike me as a Battlestar guy. I know
- 36:56Speaker 1: a bit about both of them. Does that sound like
- 36:59Speaker 1: an accurate description that Trade just said, you know, Star
- 37:02Speaker 1: Wars is more of an epic Star Trek I'm not
- 37:07Speaker 1: sure what is a saga. It's a saga that has tribles.
- 37:13Speaker 1: So Battlestar Galactica, where does that fit?
- 37:17Speaker 3: The original series was, like he said, it was, you know,
- 37:20Speaker 3: kind of corny, very episodic. You know, you could interchange
- 37:25Speaker 3: a lot of episodes with other episodes and not really
- 37:28Speaker 3: miss anything. The newer remake was much more grand in
- 37:33Speaker 3: the fact that it had an overarching storyline that they
- 37:37Speaker 3: were trying to get to and the end had a
- 37:40Speaker 3: nice twist with a big lesson that actually ties into
- 37:43Speaker 3: what we were talking about earlier, with civilization being older
- 37:46Speaker 3: than we all thought that it was.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Is the one is the one thing that Star Wars,
- 37:55Speaker 1: Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica have in common? Is it
- 37:58Speaker 1: basically just an excuse to have hot aliens?
- 38:02Speaker 3: I would say two out of three of those are
- 38:05Speaker 3: would be correct with that? Yes, which, uh, Star Trek
- 38:11Speaker 3: and Battlestar that's the.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Hot aliens shows. Yes, you didn't you didn't like the
- 38:18Speaker 1: You didn't like the the singing chick in with the
- 38:22Speaker 1: long lips in in Star Wars. Oh, in the Cantina. Yeah,
- 38:27Speaker 1: you didn't like the cantina singer with with the with
- 38:29Speaker 1: the long lips and the I mean twiggy legs. She
- 38:33Speaker 1: was all right. I mean I was more of a
- 38:41Speaker 1: like I did. I never got into I never got
- 38:43Speaker 1: into Battlestar Galactica. I was more of a I was
- 38:47Speaker 1: more of a Buck Rogers in the twenty fifth century Watcher.
- 38:50Speaker 1: You know, Baty Beatty. That was a good show. Bitty
- 38:52Speaker 1: bitty bitty biddy. Yeah, that's a good show.
- 38:55Speaker 4: But it's amazing.
- 38:56Speaker 1: You know.
- 38:59Speaker 5: All of the shows most people would say, you know,
- 39:02Speaker 5: epics shows about space and space travel and everything else,
- 39:07Speaker 5: and you you just relegated them down to which one
- 39:10Speaker 5: has hot the hot alien chicks.
- 39:12Speaker 1: That is not my fault. You blame Captain Kirk. He
- 39:15Speaker 1: was the one making out with every hot alien in
- 39:17Speaker 1: the In the Galaxy Star Trek did have a lot
- 39:21Speaker 1: of hot aliens hot humans.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Uh.
- 39:25Speaker 3: I think Battle the newer Battle Star was much more
- 39:28Speaker 3: about how everyone looked, which, of course translates to how
- 39:37Speaker 3: do they? In other words, how do how do tribbles trip?
- 39:50Speaker 1: There's too much for me.
- 39:53Speaker 6: You're in the tree House. Visit us online at Treehouse

- 40:47Speaker 1: spared to check out all things Treehouse at Treehouse on
- 40:50Speaker 1: Air dot com. Trey, do you like my new studio
- 40:54Speaker 1: light trying to be trying to be a little more
- 40:56Speaker 1: festive during the Loverboy bumper on Fridays? Excellent?
- 41:03Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to work on mine.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Get you a ring light, buddy, I have one.
- 41:09Speaker 4: I'm just it's I'm not gonna stand up to turn
- 41:14Speaker 4: it off and on.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Need to get a remote. This is the Treehouse Show.
- 41:21Speaker 1: It is Fred Day, April eleven, twenty twenty five. Today
- 41:25Speaker 1: has already been a jam packed show. Talking about a
- 41:27Speaker 1: thirty five year old man pouring hot soup on his
- 41:30Speaker 1: sixty five year old girlfriend. Very wrong. We're bad, very bad.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Not only was that a bad thing to do, also
- 41:37Speaker 1: the way we made fun of it. Then we talked
- 41:39Speaker 1: about showtime furniture, which was truly eye opening. We also
- 41:45Speaker 1: went to the bottom of the ocean floor, talked about
- 41:47Speaker 1: underwater pyramids, its effect on civilization, and still not knowing
- 41:53Speaker 1: what the hell is in Antarctica, which I think we
- 41:57Speaker 1: all need to be a little more curious about.
- 42:02Speaker 4: We've all said, why do all countries have research stations there?
- 42:05Speaker 4: But their parts? No one will go, and they damn
- 42:07Speaker 4: sure won't allow anyone to look. What are they hiding?
- 42:15Speaker 4: I want to know.
- 42:17Speaker 1: I don't look at it this way. I don't think
- 42:20Speaker 1: it's fair that penguins have more knowledge about the Earth
- 42:23Speaker 1: than me.
- 42:26Speaker 4: Don't even think about whales.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Those were You get the idea Okay, So we also
- 42:36Speaker 1: talked a lot about Star Trek, a little bit of
- 42:39Speaker 1: Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica because it was Tricia Helfer's fifty
- 42:42Speaker 1: first birthday and she played a Cylon in Battlestar Galactica. Whatever,
- 42:48Speaker 1: but that did remind me of a story I saw
- 42:50Speaker 1: earlier this week. The world's first space hotel is supposedly
- 42:57Speaker 1: set to launch in the year twenty two one seven.
- 43:01Speaker 1: That sounds like a long way away, but quick reminder,
- 43:03Speaker 1: it's twenty twenty five, so that's only two years from now. Supposedly,
- 43:07Speaker 1: this space hotel will orbit Earth with a bar, a
- 43:11Speaker 1: movie theater, a spa, and so much more. Are we
- 43:16Speaker 1: ready for a space hotel already? That is just what
- 43:20Speaker 1: we need. The Voyager Station promises a once in a
- 43:24Speaker 1: lifetime experience with stunning views of the Earth, luxury accommodations,
- 43:30Speaker 1: and unique amenities like a bar, movie theater, spa, and
- 43:33Speaker 1: a gym. All in space. Guests will enjoy artificial gravity,
- 43:38Speaker 1: making their stay feel more like home, while indulging in
- 43:42Speaker 1: world class service and personalized experiences. Look, does it have
- 43:46Speaker 1: a Starbucks or not? I think that's the question on
- 43:48Speaker 1: everyone's mind.
- 43:50Speaker 5: No, does Does that have some kind of shield or
- 43:52Speaker 5: force field, because you know, in case you haven't, don't know,
- 43:56Speaker 5: we've jumped up space kind of like we junked up
- 43:59Speaker 5: the Earth.
- 44:00Speaker 1: That's true. We are a trashy, trashy species.
- 44:05Speaker 5: We haven't been very good about bringing the old satellites
- 44:08Speaker 5: down and stuff we've left up there, so it's kind
- 44:12Speaker 5: of a minefield.
- 44:13Speaker 1: It's pretty bad because even the world's richest man, Elon Musk,
- 44:16Speaker 1: through his car in space. I mean, isn't that like
- 44:22Speaker 1: the uber billionaire's equivalent to having your car on blocks
- 44:25Speaker 1: in the driveway.
- 44:30Speaker 4: Kinda?
- 44:30Speaker 1: Isn't that thing on its way to Mars? Yeah? The
- 44:33Speaker 1: good news is this space hotel will not hit Elon
- 44:37Speaker 1: Musk's roadster. That thing's too far away now. But if
- 44:41Speaker 1: you want to stay at the world's first space hotel,
- 44:44Speaker 1: which is set to launch in twenty twenty seven, and
- 44:46Speaker 1: enjoy the amenities like a bar, cinema, spa, a gym,
- 44:51Speaker 1: it'll only cost you twenty five million dollars. Before you ask,
- 44:57Speaker 1: I don't know if that's per night.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Well, it costs about ten thousand dollars per pound to
- 45:03Speaker 3: launch something into space.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Okay, I don't know. For twenty five million dollars. How
- 45:12Speaker 1: long of a stay you get? I don't even know
- 45:14Speaker 1: if it's all inclusive. It might be the European plan,
- 45:17Speaker 1: So you got to pay for lunch and dinner. Check
- 45:19Speaker 1: in not before three pm, check out at eleven am.
- 45:22Speaker 4: Do not be late.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Where's the bell hop? Can I get some help with
- 45:30Speaker 1: my luggage? Are we really ready to go to space
- 45:34Speaker 1: for relaxation, because there is nothing about space that is
- 45:39Speaker 1: supposed to be relaxing. It is a constant death wish
- 45:46Speaker 1: going into space. Everything in space we cannot survive in
- 45:51Speaker 1: a normal way. It's meant to kill us. Do you
- 45:55Speaker 1: really think you're gonna get a good night's sleep on
- 45:57Speaker 1: a space hotel?
- 46:00Speaker 5: All I know is every time it goes back past
- 46:03Speaker 5: the Iss those astronauts and a.
- 46:05Speaker 4: Go you mothers.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Enjoying our continental breakfast.
- 46:14Speaker 4: We can't even get some god pudding.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Look at least at least we finally got those astronauts
- 46:24Speaker 1: down from there that were there much longer than they intended.
- 46:28Speaker 1: H Just imagine if we were enjoying stays on the
- 46:32Speaker 1: space Hotel before they got brought back.
- 46:37Speaker 5: Just just imagine when the guests of the space hotels
- 46:40Speaker 5: get just stuck up there for nine months.
- 46:44Speaker 1: All of a sudden, watching the Three Amigos for the
- 46:47Speaker 1: ninety fourth time, is it gonna Is it gonna have
- 46:49Speaker 1: the same luster it originally had? I did also like
- 46:55Speaker 1: how I love how some people put things in a
- 47:01Speaker 1: like the ability to stay on a space hotel before
- 47:07Speaker 1: we've even gotten Grand Theft Auto six. We're gonna have
- 47:13Speaker 1: a space hotel before we get a good decent Star
- 47:16Speaker 1: Wars movie. Oh man, which, by the way, we should
- 47:24Speaker 1: never be trusted with lightsabers if the technology ever exists.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Maybe that's what they're hiding in Antarctica. They know it's like,
- 47:31Speaker 1: maybe there's actual lightsabers in Antarctica, and they know we
- 47:35Speaker 1: can't be trusted with them. Uzzies, yes, lightsabers, No, we're
- 47:39Speaker 1: far too dancers. We'll put a hole right in that
- 47:41Speaker 1: space hotel.
- 47:44Speaker 5: That they got wookies down there, and they know some
- 47:45Speaker 5: white woman's gonna go down there and put a collar
- 47:47Speaker 5: and leasa on them and go.
- 47:53Speaker 1: No one put a lid on it. No one on
- 47:57Speaker 1: the planet gets to know about this. You had a
- 48:03Speaker 1: big day, Trey, thank you very much, sir. Meanwhile, the
- 48:07Speaker 1: wookies are going like, hey did anyone ask for consent.
- 48:12Speaker 1: For all things Treehouse, go to Treehouse on Air dot com.
