- 0:08Speaker 1: Sc vie for sure, It's time love and no another
- 0:14Speaker 1: love a lower Low which a friend Rob Shooter. Are
- 0:17Speaker 1: welcome through the Naughty but Night Show Friday, normally every Friday.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I dear friend Corey Andrew joins us and fortunately he's
- 0:24Speaker 1: not going to be with us today because he's got
- 0:26Speaker 1: a few technical issues. Don't worry, Corey, I know you're listening.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Let's jump into the show. We've got a lot to
- 0:33Speaker 1: talk about. What time is it, my friends? It airs?
- 0:36Speaker 1: Let me hear you it is tee time. I hope
- 0:41Speaker 1: you're singing along. Okay, We've got to get into the
- 0:43Speaker 1: Britney Spears drama. This is just heartbreaking. So Britney Spears
- 0:47Speaker 1: was arrested. She was arrested, and now we are finding
- 0:51Speaker 1: out that a mystery substance was found in her car.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Let me explain, and so the plot just thickened in
- 0:59Speaker 1: the dui rest of Britney Spears. Law enforcement sources say
- 1:03Speaker 1: that an unknown substance was discovered inside the Popstars car
- 1:09Speaker 1: during a Wednesday traffic stop in California. The material was
- 1:15Speaker 1: sent for testing and could become part of the investigation.
- 1:19Speaker 1: It will be if it comes back that it's drugs.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Britney is forty four. She was arrested on suspicion of
- 1:25Speaker 1: DUI and released in the early hours of Thursday morning.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I think she was booked about three am, did not
- 1:32Speaker 1: get out until six a m. She has a court
- 1:35Speaker 1: date for May fourth. She could go to jail. Remember
- 1:39Speaker 1: Lindsay Lohan Paris Hilton, they went to jail for a
- 1:43Speaker 1: DUI conviction. It is very very serious. Now people are
- 1:48Speaker 1: saying this is so complicated because if a substance turns
- 1:51Speaker 1: out to be in that car and it was illegal,
- 1:55Speaker 1: the authorities are going to act. So the authorities, the
- 1:57Speaker 1: police are waiting for the lab results. Britney's legal team
- 2:01Speaker 1: is staying very quiet, although her representatives did put out
- 2:04Speaker 1: a statement saying it was inexcusable and I hope now
- 2:07Speaker 1: she gets the help that she needs. Wow, this story
- 2:12Speaker 1: is absolutely explosive, So please do suspect it was drugs
- 2:17Speaker 1: and ALCOHOLA oh, Britney, Britney, Britney. I'm finding out too
- 2:22Speaker 1: that she just fired her sober coach about two three
- 2:25Speaker 1: weeks ago, just two or three weeks before the duirs.
- 2:29Speaker 1: She returned from Mexico and she fired her sober coaches.
- 2:34Speaker 1: She had a team of them, didn't want them anymore.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Now what is interesting here is my sources are saying
- 2:39Speaker 1: all this happened after she signed a lucrative deal to
- 2:43Speaker 1: sell her music catalog. Britney Spears made about two hundred
- 2:47Speaker 1: million dollars on the sale of this catalog. And that
- 2:51Speaker 1: sounds great, except in Hollywood, where there's money, there are vultures.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I'm told they've come out of the woodwork, all the unsavory,
- 3:01Speaker 1: all the disgusting, all the hangers on, all the drug
- 3:04Speaker 1: dealing type people, all the people that really walk the
- 3:07Speaker 1: line with the law, really really close. And so I'm worried,
- 3:12Speaker 1: worried for Britney. I knew in this number was released
- 3:15Speaker 1: in the press, and I don't believe it's that much
- 3:16Speaker 1: money because Brittany did not write these hits, and often
- 3:20Speaker 1: the money is about the songwriter. So Britney sang a
- 3:23Speaker 1: lot of them, and she did write some of her
- 3:26Speaker 1: minor hits, but the massive Britney Spears songs that made
- 3:29Speaker 1: her famous, she did not write those. So I died
- 3:31Speaker 1: it was two hundred million, but it's still a lot,
- 3:33Speaker 1: a lot, a lot of money, And where there's money,
- 3:36Speaker 1: there is opportunity. When there's opportunity, there are shady, shady people.
- 3:40Speaker 1: She has nobody around her protecting her, and now she
- 3:44Speaker 1: has a bull's eye on her. For a long time
- 3:46Speaker 1: that Britney was sort of functioning. We saw her on
- 3:50Speaker 1: social media. It was alarming, But that's who Britney is.
- 3:53Speaker 1: The really sharp, polished version of Britney spears that the
- 3:57Speaker 1: record company sold us was just never the truth. Britney's publicist,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I worked on her PR team about twenty years ago,
- 4:03Speaker 1: and the Brittany that we see now dancing in her
- 4:05Speaker 1: living room, that's who she always was. She always was
- 4:08Speaker 1: a little bit messy. In fact, I felt bad at
- 4:11Speaker 1: the time for Christina Aguilera because Christina was always portrayed
- 4:14Speaker 1: as the dirty, messy one and Britney was this polished
- 4:18Speaker 1: pop princess. It just wasn't true. Britney left to her
- 4:21Speaker 1: own devices, Brittany without publicists, managers, agent's record companies. The
- 4:26Speaker 1: Britney you see today is the Britney she always was.
- 4:29Speaker 1: It was just well covered up. But now there's nobody
- 4:32Speaker 1: around Britney to shape the image. I think being authentic
- 4:35Speaker 1: is a good thing. I think once she's sold the
- 4:37Speaker 1: public a false bill of goods for many, many years.
- 4:40Speaker 1: It's problem at it because now they don't know what's
- 4:42Speaker 1: the authentic Brittany. And I think a lot of her
- 4:44Speaker 1: fans really want the old Britney back that never really existed.
- 4:48Speaker 1: And when she went through that conservatorship with her father
- 4:51Speaker 1: thirteen years, it was way too long, but she did
- 4:53Speaker 1: need somebody in her life. I saw Britney just before
- 4:57Speaker 1: the conservatorship, and what I witnessed was absolutely alarming. Guy
- 5:02Speaker 1: was the executive editor of Okay magazine, and we paid
- 5:05Speaker 1: Brittany a million dollars to do a photo shoot after
- 5:07Speaker 1: she shaved her head, a photo shoot, an interview. We
- 5:10Speaker 1: couldn't use the pictures and we couldn't use the interview
- 5:13Speaker 1: because they were that shocking. That shoot was absolutely mind blowing.
- 5:18Speaker 1: She was clearly on drugs, She was clearly unstable. The
- 5:22Speaker 1: amount of shady people around her was just terrifying. They
- 5:26Speaker 1: were all after her money, They all wanted money from
- 5:30Speaker 1: me the magazine. It was just an awful experience. Ultimately,
- 5:33Speaker 1: we didn't pay and we didn't run the interview or
- 5:36Speaker 1: the photographs, but thankfully soon afterwards her dad stepped up.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Now Jamie has been portrayed as a villain, and I
- 5:43Speaker 1: got to admit here, he's not a hero. He made
- 5:45Speaker 1: some terrible, terrible mistakes, and I think Britney's money and
- 5:49Speaker 1: wealth and power was something that produced him. He got
- 5:52Speaker 1: really sucked into that lifestyle of being the gatekeeper, the
- 5:56Speaker 1: manager of somebody that was very, very successful. I've seen
- 5:59Speaker 1: this to a lesser degree with other celebrities. Some people
- 6:02Speaker 1: have really awful managers, and the manager really takes control
- 6:05Speaker 1: the celebrity. Isn't that involved a lot of people don't
- 6:08Speaker 1: have their email address or their phone numbers. You have
- 6:10Speaker 1: to go through the manager. That was the case with
- 6:13Speaker 1: Brittany and her dad. And I think did he take advantage? Yes,
- 6:16Speaker 1: I think he did. But I also think he saved
- 6:18Speaker 1: her life because the Brittany that I saw before he
- 6:21Speaker 1: took over wouldn't be with us today. It was that serious.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I can't say this loudly enough, naughties, it was that serious.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I was fearful for her. In fact, we had gosh,
- 6:32Speaker 1: this is shocking to admit, but several other outlets did
- 6:34Speaker 1: it too. We had prepared her obituary. We thought she
- 6:38Speaker 1: was going to die. Every morning we got up and
- 6:41Speaker 1: thought the news would be Britney's peers had passed away.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Thankfully that is not the case. But when she got
- 6:47Speaker 1: rid of the conservatorship, and there is many, many reasons
- 6:51Speaker 1: that she shouldn't have had it, but there was nobody
- 6:53Speaker 1: then to step in. I think a lot of people
- 6:55Speaker 1: want her sons to come forward. It's just not fair.
- 6:58Speaker 1: My sources tell me they are tea boys. They love
- 7:01Speaker 1: their mom, but they're not going to care for her.
- 7:03Speaker 1: They don't want to be full time caretakers of their mom.
- 7:07Speaker 1: They don't want to be the parents here. They're the children.
- 7:10Speaker 1: That's why this relationship is so difficult. And so there
- 7:13Speaker 1: is nobody around Brittany. And when there's nobody around, people vultures,
- 7:18Speaker 1: awful hanger ons slipping. You've seen a million times. This
- 7:23Speaker 1: story is as old as Hollywood, as old as the
- 7:26Speaker 1: music businesses old as time. You've seen it, maybe with
- 7:30Speaker 1: your own friends when they're vulnerable. It's amazing. Who can
- 7:33Speaker 1: slip into that in a cirtle? Then add add into
- 7:36Speaker 1: the mix, poor into this mix two hundred million dollars.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Can you imagine the opportunists in California who think they
- 7:46Speaker 1: have struck gold, they have the cash cow Britney spearsed
- 7:51Speaker 1: it's also heartbreaking, which leads us to a pole question
- 7:55Speaker 1: of the day. A mysterious substance has been found in
- 7:58Speaker 1: Britney's car. Do you think it's an illegal drug? Is
- 8:01Speaker 1: it illegal drugs? He go vote on our Twitter page
- 8:04Speaker 1: I had Naughty Nice rab facebook page is Naudy gossip
- 8:08Speaker 1: and be sure to check back Tamaraur to hear your results. Okay,
- 8:13Speaker 1: moving a long Fergie is now left the Duchess of York.
- 8:18Speaker 1: The former Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, is pretty much
- 8:22Speaker 1: couch surfing after her royal fall from Grace. So the
- 8:27Speaker 1: royal fallout keeps getting messier and messier. Sarah Ferguson is
- 8:31Speaker 1: now basically couch surfing with friends after losing her longtime
- 8:35Speaker 1: home following the scandals surrounding her and her ex husband,
- 8:38Speaker 1: the former Prince Andrew and his ties and their tie
- 8:41Speaker 1: She's involved in this too. To Jeffrey Epstein, sources say
- 8:45Speaker 1: that she's basically staying with friends. She's homeless. One of
- 8:48Speaker 1: the friends I know she's been staying with is Priscilla Presley.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna have a bomb shall report about that tomorrow
- 8:54Speaker 1: on my substack. Substack is this new way for us
- 8:57Speaker 1: to communicate. Instead of me working for Vanity Fa or
- 9:00Speaker 1: TMZ or OK magazine or Radar or one of the
- 9:03Speaker 1: great sites that you inquire, I now have my own substack.
- 9:07Speaker 1: It is robshooter dot stubstack dot com. You can go there,
- 9:11Speaker 1: type in your email address, and instead of you coming
- 9:13Speaker 1: to me throughout the day to update you on celebrity gossip,
- 9:17Speaker 1: I come to you. I send you a little newsletter,
- 9:20Speaker 1: really really short, easy to read. It's just a little treat,
- 9:23Speaker 1: a little nuggative information straight to your inbox. So you
- 9:26Speaker 1: sign up there. It's free or you can pay. I
- 9:28Speaker 1: am very grateful to my pain Subscribers's eight dollars a month,
- 9:32Speaker 1: but you do not have to pay and you still
- 9:34Speaker 1: get access. Go there, type in your email address, and
- 9:37Speaker 1: then three four times a day you'll get a tiny
- 9:39Speaker 1: little piece of gossip, less than one hundred and fifty
- 9:41Speaker 1: two hundred words. It is delicious. I'm gonna have a
- 9:43Speaker 1: big one coming about Priscilla Presley, scientology and Fergie later today.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So one insiders Toll page six that Fergie is someone
- 9:53Speaker 1: people like, but at the moment being linked to Epstein
- 9:56Speaker 1: is simply too radioactive. Even her door Eugenie and also
- 10:02Speaker 1: too Princess Beatrice are keeping their distance. They don't want
- 10:06Speaker 1: to be around her. Mind Side has told me a
- 10:09Speaker 1: couple of months ago we reported this, she'll end up
- 10:11Speaker 1: in a granny flat. She'll end up living above the
- 10:13Speaker 1: garage at one of her daughter's houses if they take
- 10:16Speaker 1: her in, and they might not. Now they seem to
- 10:19Speaker 1: be getting more and more sucked into this Epstein drama.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Nobody knows where she is. The best royal reporters in
- 10:25Speaker 1: the world, including myself. I'm really good at this. I
- 10:28Speaker 1: worked for the British royal family, so I'm not just
- 10:30Speaker 1: a talking head. I got a paycheck from them, a
- 10:33Speaker 1: retainer every month for my pr skills, and so I
- 10:37Speaker 1: know this family. She has disappeared. She's not in Britain.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Some people think she's in the Middle East, some people
- 10:44Speaker 1: some people think she's in Ireland. Other people, including me,
- 10:48Speaker 1: now believe she's with Priscilla Presley, maybe in Florida or
- 10:52Speaker 1: maybe in California. More about that on my substack, Akay.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Moving along a heartbreaking return to the Today Show, Savannah
- 10:59Speaker 1: Guffery popped in to say hello and thank you to
- 11:02Speaker 1: all the staff. She's not been on the show for
- 11:04Speaker 1: almost a month now. She did make a small step
- 11:08Speaker 1: towards returning to Studio one A where she came this week,
- 11:11Speaker 1: just a few days ago, and thanks everybody. I'm told
- 11:14Speaker 1: there was tears, there was hugs. She thanked everyone for
- 11:17Speaker 1: their support, and she guaranteed, she promised, she vowed she
- 11:21Speaker 1: would be back on the Today Show. She has told
- 11:23Speaker 1: them I will return. I don't know when, but I
- 11:25Speaker 1: will return. Her mom is still missing. Savannah left Arizona
- 11:30Speaker 1: a few days ago. She went to her mother's house
- 11:32Speaker 1: with some yellow roses and her siblings and said goodbye
- 11:35Speaker 1: to hermoker. Let that sink in for a minute. Goodbye.
- 11:38Speaker 1: My sources tell me her kids are here, their school
- 11:41Speaker 1: is here. The kids did not move to Arizona. They
- 11:43Speaker 1: continued their structure, their routine, which I think is the
- 11:46Speaker 1: right thing to do. And so Savannah now it is
- 11:49Speaker 1: back in New York. There is no more she can
- 11:51Speaker 1: do in Arizona. So she's back now with her family
- 11:54Speaker 1: who really need her, her kids, her husband, and also
- 11:57Speaker 1: the show that she loved. Some people are saying think
- 12:00Speaker 1: it's really wrong that she shouldn't return to the show.
- 12:02Speaker 1: She should more. No, Her mother, Nancy was Savannah's number
- 12:07Speaker 1: one cheer leader. She loved Savannah's Krea, she loved the
- 12:11Speaker 1: Today Show. She was so proud that her daughter, who
- 12:14Speaker 1: started off on local TV, begging little local stations to
- 12:19Speaker 1: have her on, she got a job in local TV,
- 12:21Speaker 1: and she worked away up the ladder to a place
- 12:23Speaker 1: almost nobody gets, which is the very last wrong, and
- 12:26Speaker 1: that is the Today Show. It does not get any
- 12:28Speaker 1: higher on the ladder of TV than the Today Show.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Savannah is the host of the Today Show. I'm not
- 12:35Speaker 1: going to say was, because she still is and she
- 12:37Speaker 1: will be back. We broke the story first that she
- 12:41Speaker 1: was not walking away, and now it has been confirmed. Okay, quickly,
- 12:44Speaker 1: before we get a break, Harry and Meghan's Netflix dreams
- 12:47Speaker 1: her fell apart again and said they were working on
- 12:49Speaker 1: some projects in development. That's what they say when they
- 12:52Speaker 1: don't really want to give you any details. They were
- 12:54Speaker 1: trying to adapt two novels, turn them into films, maybe
- 12:58Speaker 1: even a serious for NETFLK. But now it's taken three years.
- 13:01Speaker 1: They have no cast, they have no director, and everybody
- 13:05Speaker 1: internally is telling me this is never gonna happen. It's
- 13:09Speaker 1: a development deal, but you got to develop something. It's
- 13:12Speaker 1: okay having a deal, but what about if you don't
- 13:14Speaker 1: develop anything, they're no money. And so these two are
- 13:17Speaker 1: good and makeing press statements of doing press releases, they're
- 13:21Speaker 1: not very good at the follow through. They're not very
- 13:23Speaker 1: good at doing the work. Harris always had a staff
- 13:27Speaker 1: until recently they did that, the best staff in the
- 13:29Speaker 1: world inside Bookingham Palace. If he wanted to do something,
- 13:32Speaker 1: if he came up with an idea, he came up
- 13:33Speaker 1: with a great idea the Invictus Games. However, he could
- 13:36Speaker 1: not have pulled that off by himself. He needed the infrastructure,
- 13:39Speaker 1: the staff, the team at the palace to polish it
- 13:42Speaker 1: and make it really work, and they did. We all
- 13:45Speaker 1: need a team. I am not dismissing Carry and Megan here.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I need a team a little silly podcast as substaff
- 13:52Speaker 1: my book that's coming out soon. I have an amazing
- 13:55Speaker 1: team around me. I'm not arrogant enough to think I
- 13:58Speaker 1: can do it or buy myself. I've absolutely not. You
- 14:01Speaker 1: hire great people, even people that slightly annoy me on
- 14:06Speaker 1: my team, because they're really good at what they do.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I try to hire really nice people too, but I
- 14:10Speaker 1: do value real expertise. I'm not the person that can
- 14:15Speaker 1: do this by myself. Nobody's If anybody tells you they
- 14:18Speaker 1: alone can fix something or do something, it's just not true.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It really does take a team. Will Harry's arrogance, Megan's
- 14:24Speaker 1: arrogance has gone in the way, and now this project,
- 14:27Speaker 1: which could be great. The two books that they've optioned
- 14:30Speaker 1: are really, really fantastic reads. One is my favorite. It's
- 14:33Speaker 1: called Meet Me at the Lake. It is a brilliant,
- 14:35Speaker 1: brilliant book. I'd love to see this as a movie,
- 14:38Speaker 1: as a Netflix special, as a serious but in the
- 14:42Speaker 1: hands of Harry and Meghan, I don't know. I don't
- 14:45Speaker 1: think it's ever going to get made. My book's coming
- 14:47Speaker 1: down in about six weeks. Thank you to everybody that
- 14:49Speaker 1: has pre ordered it. I'm lucky enough. And all the attention,
- 14:52Speaker 1: all the publicity, all the pre sales, thank you very much.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Have caught the eyes of several different streamers. I'm really
- 14:58Speaker 1: excited about it. I know that if Harry and Meghan
- 15:02Speaker 1: wanted to option my book, I wouldn't do it because
- 15:04Speaker 1: they can't pull it off. Having a big name like
- 15:07Speaker 1: that sounds so evocative, so exciting. No, I'd rather people
- 15:11Speaker 1: with really no name, no celebrity, who do the work.
- 15:15Speaker 1: And so that's what I am looking for in Netflix.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Hello Hello, Hello, Okay, you're so cheeky. We're going to
- 15:21Speaker 1: take a quick break and we will be right back.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Naughty, but nasham your Headstroms you
- 15:28Speaker 1: to hey, Liz do thepolls. Last year we talked about
- 15:32Speaker 1: the Beckhams David and Victoria wishing Brooklyn a happy birthday
- 15:35Speaker 1: on social media despite the fact that they're not speaking
- 15:38Speaker 1: and he's actually asked them to make sure we're moving forward.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Airy little bit of a communication. Contact goes through his lawyers. Well,
- 15:44Speaker 1: they went to social media. Right move or wrong move?
- 15:48Speaker 1: Seventy percent said it's the wrong move. They should have
- 15:50Speaker 1: reached out to him privately. They have his email, they
- 15:52Speaker 1: have his phone numbers, they can contact him. I think
- 15:55Speaker 1: that when you do something for show, when you do
- 15:57Speaker 1: something on social media, we've done this ourselves. When it's
- 16:00Speaker 1: my real friend's birthday, so I text them, I call
- 16:03Speaker 1: them when it's Miss Dee's birth to your or Cory
- 16:07Speaker 1: or Mark Looper Garrett, I definitely pick up a phone.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I don't put a social media post up there. They
- 16:14Speaker 1: did this Victoria and David. Even though I'm on their side,
- 16:17Speaker 1: I think Brooklyn is a brat here and he's biting
- 16:19Speaker 1: the hand that fed him. Wouldn't We wouldn't even know
- 16:21Speaker 1: who he was if he wasn't a Beckham. But I
- 16:23Speaker 1: think Victoria and David here this was more about brand
- 16:26Speaker 1: Beckham than it was Brooklyn, although I do wish them
- 16:29Speaker 1: the best. Hey, go vote on today's Paul Go. Our
- 16:32Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty, Nice Wrong. Our Facebook page is
- 16:37Speaker 1: Naughty Gossip. I'm sure check beck on Monday to hear
- 16:40Speaker 1: your results. And now it's my favorite report on the show.
- 16:44Speaker 1: It's time for the nicest of the day. And nicest
- 16:48Speaker 1: of the day is Emma Watson goes public with her
- 16:52Speaker 1: billionaire boyfriend. So the Harry Potter star confirmed her romance
- 16:56Speaker 1: with Mexican billionaire Gonzales Brellis after the pair were spotted
- 17:01Speaker 1: sharing a passionate kiss at a Mexican airport. The photograph
- 17:05Speaker 1: shows that these two are together. You can see their faces,
- 17:07Speaker 1: they're kissing, you can see their lips. It's a very
- 17:09Speaker 1: public confirmation of their relationship. After a few months of rumors.
- 17:13Speaker 1: We broke this story that they were together. They were
- 17:15Speaker 1: first linked in about twenty twenty five. They went to
- 17:18Speaker 1: France together and then they were seeing in Mexico together.
- 17:21Speaker 1: It was clear there together. All my sources said, she's
- 17:24Speaker 1: head over heels. He is part of one of the
- 17:26Speaker 1: richest families I know in Mexico, a billie, and he
- 17:30Speaker 1: has a more money than she does. That she's really wealthy.
- 17:32Speaker 1: But I love that these two are comfortable enough now
- 17:34Speaker 1: to share that love at an airport in public. Kiss
- 17:38Speaker 1: kiss kiss are nicest of the day. And now I
- 17:40Speaker 1: noticed the day Naughty ninety accused double killer Nick Reiner
- 17:45Speaker 1: has only had one visitor in jail, and that is
- 17:48Speaker 1: his lawyer, Kimberly Green. So we reported first that his
- 17:52Speaker 1: siblings were not going to the trial. They were not
- 17:55Speaker 1: going to visit him. They are still grappling that someone
- 17:59Speaker 1: they loved, that somebody who was their brother, has been
- 18:02Speaker 1: accused of murdering their parents, two people that they also deeply,
- 18:07Speaker 1: deeply loved. We know now they are not paying for
- 18:10Speaker 1: his legal team. And I told you first they are
- 18:13Speaker 1: not going to be at this trial, and now it
- 18:16Speaker 1: has been confirmed they have not visited him in jail.
- 18:21Speaker 1: We should point out. Nick has pled not guilty to
- 18:24Speaker 1: two counts a first degree murder as he awaits trial.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Oh heartbreaking. Let's end with a moment of rob You
- 18:33Speaker 1: get a robb, you rob, you go rob, You got
- 18:34Speaker 1: a robber. Don't let fear light to you. So it's
- 18:39Speaker 1: a human instinct that we overestimate risk and we underestimate opportunity.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Your brain is wired to protect you, it's not wired
- 18:47Speaker 1: to help you grow. So when a new job, a
- 18:50Speaker 1: new idea, a new feeling comes along, often we get really,
- 18:56Speaker 1: really scared. We ask ourselves what if what if I fail?
- 19:00Speaker 1: What if I look foolish? What if this doesn't work?
- 19:03Speaker 1: But here's the truth. The bigger risk is doing nothing.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Courage is not the absence of fear. It's moving forward anyway.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I get scared all the time. I'm frightened a lot,
- 19:14Speaker 1: but I have the courage to just keep going so
- 19:16Speaker 1: that the fear does not disappear. No, it doesn't. You
- 19:20Speaker 1: just have to make sure that you can still walk
- 19:22Speaker 1: and carry it at the same time. So take a step,
- 19:25Speaker 1: send an email, make a call. Your life will not
- 19:29Speaker 1: change by playing it safe. It only changes when you act.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Once again, it is human nature. It's a bias. We
- 19:37Speaker 1: have built in our systems to overestimate risk and underestimate opportunity.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Grab that opportunity noughties when it knocks. Hey, that is
- 19:49Speaker 1: it for this week. Thank you so much for listening
