- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencants and camera judge. Hello, guys,
- 0:11Speaker 1: and welcome to two teas and a pod. It's just
- 0:14Speaker 1: one tea today, but I am so excited to bring
- 0:17Speaker 1: in Lisa Milan from the Real Housewives of Dubai. Hello, Teddy,
- 0:23Speaker 1: how are you? I'm good? Of course, you look so stunning.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I can't even take it. That's so sweet. Thank you
- 0:31Speaker 1: so much, Um, thank you so much for joining us.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Well me like, how I'm so used to saying us,
- 0:37Speaker 1: where's camera? Well I already asked him because we podcasted
- 0:42Speaker 1: earlier and now she's filming, so that's why she can't
- 0:45Speaker 1: be on right now. But she's like, I got to
- 0:47Speaker 1: meet Lisa for a second. I watched What Happens live,
- 0:50Speaker 1: but it was really great. Yeah, she's did. She's so sweet.
- 0:53Speaker 1: She was really sweet. She said you're super beautiful and nice,
- 0:58Speaker 1: and then she said she as a huge glam squad. Though,
- 1:02Speaker 1: is that true? I do have a glam squad. I
- 1:07Speaker 1: don't think it's any bigger than anybody else. Actually, she
- 1:09Speaker 1: said entourage. So now I need to know how many
- 1:12Speaker 1: people do you travel with? Well, I'm Jamaican, right, so
- 1:17Speaker 1: we're traveling a whole pack. Yeah, it's true. I love it.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I was like, well, how many people? And now I
- 1:25Speaker 1: want to travel with more people? Yeah, I know I have.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I mean between my husband, my three kids, the nanny,
- 1:32Speaker 1: my mom, everybody. Yeah, it's a whole thing. Oh, I
- 1:36Speaker 1: love it. How did you meet your husband? So we
- 1:38Speaker 1: met in Miami. I'm originally from Miami. We met at
- 1:41Speaker 1: a nightclub called Live on a Sunday. Yes if you
- 1:46Speaker 1: know you know right? Yeah, yea been there, Yes, I've
- 1:50Speaker 1: been there, done that. So yeah, we met at Live
- 1:53Speaker 1: and one thing led to another. We were dating long
- 1:56Speaker 1: distance for a little bit over a year, and then
- 2:00Speaker 1: came back the question and here we are ten years later. Well,
- 2:04Speaker 1: so now I have to ask you a question because
- 2:06Speaker 1: we've been married ten years. We've been together almost thirteen. Um,
- 2:12Speaker 1: did it happen the first night at Lives not Live?
- 2:16Speaker 1: But no, we didn't. Actually, this is how I got
- 2:18Speaker 1: the ring. I just let it trickle on. He flew
- 2:21Speaker 1: me to the Bahamas, and then he flew me to
- 2:24Speaker 1: Dubai and then after a while I just gave it.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, he's too hot. I can't resist.
- 2:31Speaker 1: That's I mean. I got the ring and I have
- 2:33Speaker 1: in the first night, So I really just you know what,
- 2:37Speaker 1: I'm such a prude. I wish I could. I am
- 2:40Speaker 1: like a germophobe, shower before sex type of girl. So yeah,
- 2:45Speaker 1: So does that mean that you're primarily an at night
- 2:49Speaker 1: sex person? I am primarily at night or after the
- 2:53Speaker 1: gym because I showered after the gym. You can get
- 2:55Speaker 1: me in the daytime. That's my favorite time. It's actually
- 3:00Speaker 1: my best time because then I like have energy, whereas
- 3:03Speaker 1: the night time norphans are running. Yeah, at night time
- 3:06Speaker 1: with the kids, you're like, please, I need exactly exactly.
- 3:13Speaker 1: And then you guys filmed the reunion a few weeks ago. Yes,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and how was your first reunion? You know what? It
- 3:21Speaker 1: was super intense. Um. I was really nervous going into
- 3:25Speaker 1: it because I didn't know what to expect. I'm sure
- 3:27Speaker 1: you can relate, um, And I thought doing filming everything
- 3:31Speaker 1: was great. But I feel like after the show aired
- 3:34Speaker 1: and the girls saw who were the fan favorite, people
- 3:38Speaker 1: just became like the biggest haters and I felt like
- 3:41Speaker 1: it was like them against Channel and I. So it was.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It was pretty crazy. So did you feel like it
- 3:48Speaker 1: was definitely like I don't know if you guys had
- 3:50Speaker 1: chairs or couches, but like one side versus the other,
- 3:53Speaker 1: do you feel like there was a mingling in between
- 3:55Speaker 1: the two? It was definitely one side versus the other
- 3:59Speaker 1: hun present and I need to know, And I mean,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I'm not trying to throw shade here, but do you
- 4:04Speaker 1: think that Brooks borrowed your MS Jamaica crown for well
- 4:11Speaker 1: the reunion? I'm definitely not. That crown is big and
- 4:15Speaker 1: too heavy and made with real stones. It's not a costume,
- 4:19Speaker 1: so absolutely not. She looked more like the Statue of Liberty.
- 4:23Speaker 1: But damn, and and don't get me wrong, I love
- 4:28Speaker 1: her at two but like Tam and I were dying,
- 4:30Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't even know, and you don't have
- 4:32Speaker 1: to give this away, but I'm like, you cannot wear
- 4:35Speaker 1: a crown to the reunion if you don't have the
- 4:37Speaker 1: first seat. And this is you know, with all do
- 4:40Speaker 1: I've never been a first seat. I was a middle
- 4:42Speaker 1: seater for life, so like I but I agree, and
- 4:47Speaker 1: I think I don't know after your first season to
- 4:49Speaker 1: where a crown is a bit premature, But you know,
- 4:53Speaker 1: whatever floats her boat, I guess. But we were in
- 4:57Speaker 1: New York so maybe she wanted to pay tribute to
- 4:59Speaker 1: the whole Statue of Liberty thing because the theme was
- 5:02Speaker 1: actually desert glad. Well, that's what I couldn't figure out
- 5:05Speaker 1: because some of you guys, and it's hard to tell
- 5:07Speaker 1: on the picture, but some looked like it was like
- 5:09Speaker 1: a neon yellow or people aways will say it's it's
- 5:11Speaker 1: green or what. I don't know. But the crazy thing is,
- 5:14Speaker 1: so I was in like a lime green and Ion
- 5:17Speaker 1: was in like a yellow. We did not plan this,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I know, because we're best friends. People think it was planned.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I saw her dress and I was like the pageant
- 5:25Speaker 1: girl in me kicked in and I was like, oh,
- 5:27Speaker 1: you kiddn't me because she told me her dress was purple,
- 5:32Speaker 1: so old and it's nowhere near purple. I know. She
- 5:36Speaker 1: was like, yeah, last minute, we had to change and
- 5:38Speaker 1: this is the color that we went with. But she
- 5:40Speaker 1: looked stunning, and in the end when we sat next
- 5:44Speaker 1: to each other, it kinda you know, it pans out.
- 5:47Speaker 1: But yeah, it was not planned at all. And I
- 5:50Speaker 1: was slightly worried about you potentially having a nipslip. What
- 5:54Speaker 1: did you do to make sure that that wasn't gonna happen?
- 5:56Speaker 1: Because I was so uncomfortable sitting in unions and I
- 6:01Speaker 1: was probably just as worried as the pictures and everyone
- 6:04Speaker 1: else because my dress came all the way from Kosovo
- 6:09Speaker 1: and I never got I didn't get to fit it.
- 6:11Speaker 1: We got it, it arrived in New York. We tried
- 6:14Speaker 1: it on. It had a mesh, but the mesh was
- 6:17Speaker 1: not my skin tone. It was like a beige yeah.
- 6:21Speaker 1: So I was like, no, I'd rather run the risk
- 6:23Speaker 1: of my boobs hanging out then to go with this
- 6:26Speaker 1: beige mesh. So we actually cut the mesh out and
- 6:30Speaker 1: just prayed for dear life. No, because like this one
- 6:33Speaker 1: little branch is like holding holding you like this branch
- 6:37Speaker 1: is your best friend. Because and the stone that was
- 6:40Speaker 1: like right over it was a hot mess. I'm feel
- 6:45Speaker 1: like there's already been a Dubai net slip. Was Stanbury
- 6:49Speaker 1: like with her whole boob was out. I'm like, how
- 6:51Speaker 1: did nobody catch this? I know, I know the producers
- 6:54Speaker 1: had hell with me too. Also, I had my boobs
- 6:56Speaker 1: done and I swear the doctor put my nipples way
- 7:00Speaker 1: too high when I had like the breast lifts. So
- 7:03Speaker 1: everything I wear I actually have to be really careful
- 7:06Speaker 1: because my nipple used to be like here, and I
- 7:08Speaker 1: was like up to here, so I had mind done too.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Did they go into the nipple or did they go underneath?
- 7:14Speaker 1: They did the t so they went underneath. So did
- 7:18Speaker 1: you have a lift and an implant? I did? Okay,
- 7:21Speaker 1: So that's for y'all listening, because I get a lot
- 7:24Speaker 1: of boob questions. I had no boobs at all, so
- 7:27Speaker 1: I didn't have a lift. I had like just an
- 7:31Speaker 1: implant stuck in. They did it through the nipple. But
- 7:34Speaker 1: that's why I had issues breastfeeding Dove, because okay, we'll see.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I I breast spent my two first sons, and after
- 7:42Speaker 1: breastfeeding them, that's when um my boobs were as floppy
- 7:47Speaker 1: as a flip flop girl. So I was right, no,
- 7:51Speaker 1: I want to get them done. But the doctor asked me,
- 7:53Speaker 1: do you want to have more kids? And I was like, listen,
- 7:55Speaker 1: I have two boys. I would love to go for
- 7:56Speaker 1: the girl. And he said he was gonna do it
- 7:59Speaker 1: under the soul. But then it ended up like it
- 8:02Speaker 1: was so difficult to breastfeed my third son because it
- 8:05Speaker 1: wasn't actually under the muscle, it was like right on
- 8:07Speaker 1: top of it. It was like the whole thing. I
- 8:10Speaker 1: felt I had mom guilt because yeah, I couldn't breastfeed
- 8:15Speaker 1: as much as I did from my first two, and
- 8:18Speaker 1: it was a whole thing. It was that that was
- 8:20Speaker 1: the same thing for me. I feel like there needs
- 8:22Speaker 1: to be more discussion about that because I didn't think
- 8:25Speaker 1: I would be able to have a third my first two.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I didn't naturally have you know, I had to do
- 8:29Speaker 1: insemination and IDF and then I would got my boobs
- 8:32Speaker 1: done and there wasn't It was like, are you planning
- 8:36Speaker 1: on having other kids? I was like, probably not. And
- 8:38Speaker 1: then it was just such a crazy thing, like I
- 8:41Speaker 1: started trying to breastfeed Dove and I got mas titis
- 8:44Speaker 1: and nothing would come out and it was because they
- 8:46Speaker 1: removed the nipple to put in the implant. Yeah, and
- 8:50Speaker 1: so it wasn't lining up mom with the mom guilt
- 8:54Speaker 1: is mom guilt is real. The mom guilt is so real, honestly,
- 8:59Speaker 1: And you think that because we do the you know,
- 9:02Speaker 1: the fan questions on two teas and a lot of
- 9:05Speaker 1: people are saying, are you sure you're done? And I
- 9:07Speaker 1: know I hate when people ask me that, but also
- 9:10Speaker 1: like I'm done, I'm done. Um, I think my My
- 9:14Speaker 1: husband only makes boys, so you know, I'm already outnumbered
- 9:19Speaker 1: three boys and me actually four because I call my
- 9:22Speaker 1: husband as one of the foes for sure, and myself
- 9:26Speaker 1: and as much as I would love to have a
- 9:29Speaker 1: little girl, I think kids are so expensive. And I'm
- 9:32Speaker 1: very hands on mom. I'm not like you know and
- 9:35Speaker 1: nanny nanny mom, And so my kids are always with me.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I am I pick up, I drop off my kids
- 9:41Speaker 1: to school. I take them to all their extracurricular activities.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I cook three four times a week. I don't have
- 9:46Speaker 1: the time for another baby. And now I'm trying to
- 9:48Speaker 1: look like a hot mama. So yeah, I mean this
- 9:51Speaker 1: is why I am in my current stay bribing my
- 9:54Speaker 1: kids right now. I'm like, guys, do not come because
- 9:57Speaker 1: we have another week before school starts. I'mlike, say, can
- 10:02Speaker 1: you please, thank you? I will be done in one hour.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Like just I get same, And then how did you
- 10:19Speaker 1: get cast on the show? So actually they reached out
- 10:24Speaker 1: to Shanellayan. So Shanelle and I have been like very
- 10:26Speaker 1: good friends for about six years. She started out as
- 10:29Speaker 1: one of my models and then she was just always
- 10:32Speaker 1: a girl's girl. We always vibe. She always invite me
- 10:34Speaker 1: to all these events because a lot of people didn't
- 10:37Speaker 1: know I owned my brand, Me in a Row, so um.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Because of that, she was always like, girl, it doesn't matter,
- 10:44Speaker 1: just come, you know. And when they reached out to her,
- 10:47Speaker 1: she was like, actually, I don't know if um I
- 10:51Speaker 1: want to do it necessarily, but I know a girl.
- 10:53Speaker 1: She's my girlfriend. She's literally a real housewife. She's always cooking,
- 10:58Speaker 1: she's doing everything that most of my mom's don't do right.
- 11:02Speaker 1: And they reached out to me, and then one thing
- 11:04Speaker 1: left to another. So yeah, I came on. So how
- 11:08Speaker 1: many of you guys actually, because kind of what you're saying,
- 11:12Speaker 1: when you're watching the shows, you're thinking, are they all friendly?
- 11:15Speaker 1: But like is it through Instagram? Because sometimes some of
- 11:19Speaker 1: the relationships don't feel as formed. So you you actually
- 11:22Speaker 1: knew new Ion, but anybody else? Yes, I've actually known
- 11:27Speaker 1: Nina the longest. So I've known Nina. I brought Nina
- 11:30Speaker 1: onto the show, so she now brought me. I brought Nina.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I've known her for so many years, and then on
- 11:36Speaker 1: social media, I knew Caroline Brooks for years on years
- 11:41Speaker 1: and years. I think I've known her actually since I
- 11:43Speaker 1: was pregnant with my son, but we just never really
- 11:46Speaker 1: hung out. And then Caroline Stanbury I used to see
- 11:50Speaker 1: her out and about we running the same circles and stuff.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So they basically interviewed girls in our circle in our
- 11:57Speaker 1: friend group, like if you didn't know someone, you wouldn't
- 11:59Speaker 1: really make like in the peripheral Yeah, exactly, exactly. And
- 12:03Speaker 1: then Sarah I met while filming UM and then yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 1: but then, I mean, I have to be honest. Watching
- 12:12Speaker 1: the show, I think about like who would I be friends?
- 12:14Speaker 1: Like who would? And now you'd be friends with me? Well,
- 12:17Speaker 1: obviously I would be friends with you. You're so fun
- 12:20Speaker 1: like all the things. But my hardest one I'm having
- 12:23Speaker 1: connecting with is Nina, and I don't know what it is.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I don't know if she is giving off like everything
- 12:33Speaker 1: is good all the time. So then it's it doesn't
- 12:36Speaker 1: come off as authentic to me, But like, what would
- 12:40Speaker 1: you say is your most natural friendship on the show?
- 12:43Speaker 1: Ion ion Ian and I mean we're real, We're best
- 12:47Speaker 1: friends in real life. So when we both got casted,
- 12:50Speaker 1: it was like a dream come true. Because our our
- 12:53Speaker 1: husband's golf together. You know, we're actually hanging out all
- 12:57Speaker 1: the time. She's been to like so many of my
- 13:00Speaker 1: it's birthday party. She's actually I won't say she's always
- 13:03Speaker 1: the mascot, but she's always the life of all my
- 13:05Speaker 1: kids birthday parties. She had that over the top in
- 13:09Speaker 1: the clothes all the time. No, she's not over the
- 13:12Speaker 1: top all the time. But she's always been very larger
- 13:17Speaker 1: than life, you know what I mean. Like it depends
- 13:19Speaker 1: on the occasion. If it is an event, she is
- 13:22Speaker 1: gonna show up, probably in full goal sequence. You know.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I've been to fashion shows with her that she's not
- 13:27Speaker 1: walking in and she outdos everybody on the runway. You know,
- 13:31Speaker 1: that's her personality. She's really bright. But no, she's not
- 13:36Speaker 1: always stressed like that. Sometimes she's just a little bit more,
- 13:39Speaker 1: you know, normal. Well, I had co hosted with Cynthia
- 13:42Speaker 1: last week and we were talking about Teresa's wedding and
- 13:45Speaker 1: I'm like, hold on, I'm confused. Ion was not in
- 13:48Speaker 1: a gown. Oh my act like very understanding. She goes
- 13:52Speaker 1: she lost her bag or something happened with Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 13:55Speaker 1: she lost her stuff, and not just that she was
- 13:59Speaker 1: invitedst minute. So Teresa gave her the invite last minute,
- 14:04Speaker 1: and she couldn't you know most of her gowns and
- 14:06Speaker 1: stuff are in Dubai. You know, when you're traveling fifteen
- 14:09Speaker 1: fifteen our flights you're taking, you're not taking your whole
- 14:12Speaker 1: world with you. So it was a lot for her
- 14:14Speaker 1: to get things done. But I still think she she
- 14:16Speaker 1: rocked it. She looked no, I mean, she looked stunning.
- 14:19Speaker 1: She always does, but I was just going back over
- 14:22Speaker 1: the topness. And to be honest, she was on the
- 14:24Speaker 1: phone with me on her way there and she's like,
- 14:27Speaker 1: I don't know, I'm not in a gown, and I'm like,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I'm sorry. There's one like video where she's not even
- 14:35Speaker 1: in shoes and she's walking and she's still like towering
- 14:38Speaker 1: over everyone, looking like a glamazon. I'm like, please, I'm
- 14:41Speaker 1: like five three with my highest heels. Oh my god,
- 14:45Speaker 1: the same high. I'm five four, But I like to
- 14:47Speaker 1: say five five because of that one song five five
- 14:50Speaker 1: Brannah people on five five because it just sounds way cuter.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I know, my licensees five five, but everybody else is like, yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 1: my daughter, she's not and she's almost taller. She's like
- 15:01Speaker 1: nice trying, Yeah, that's like my first And then where
- 15:05Speaker 1: do you stand? With and I always say stands very
- 15:08Speaker 1: and everyone that listens to the pot yells at me
- 15:10Speaker 1: all the time. They're like, it's stands very. I'm like,
- 15:12Speaker 1: I can't help myself. But where do you stand with her? Now? Um, well,
- 15:17Speaker 1: exactly where we left it? Like nowhere, like nowhere. I'm
- 15:22Speaker 1: absolutely nowhere. The thing is, the thing is to be honest.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I feel like we were just two very different people.
- 15:29Speaker 1: We just don't vibe. I. I can relate to people
- 15:32Speaker 1: who are authentic, I can relate to people who are vulnerable.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I can relate to people who are real, you know,
- 15:39Speaker 1: And I don't really get that from her. And I
- 15:41Speaker 1: don't think not to say that she's fake, but I
- 15:43Speaker 1: think she's quite guarded and protected and um, because of that,
- 15:48Speaker 1: we just don't really vibe. I'm an energy person, and
- 15:51Speaker 1: if our energies don't align, you know, I'm not going
- 15:54Speaker 1: to really invest and put a lot of effort into it.
- 15:57Speaker 1: And so it's always been kind of like that with
- 16:00Speaker 1: and I. Um, and I also think she's a little
- 16:02Speaker 1: bit intimidated by well from the final part, I agree
- 16:06Speaker 1: with you and the fact that like I can immediately
- 16:09Speaker 1: tell how somebody's acting towards me, regardless of it's them
- 16:12Speaker 1: or not, and then I take on that energy with them,
- 16:16Speaker 1: and it's hard for me to move on to that
- 16:18Speaker 1: even in these like you can see this. I knew
- 16:21Speaker 1: the second you came on. I'm like, all right this,
- 16:24Speaker 1: She's gonna be good. She's gonna be cool, she's gonna
- 16:26Speaker 1: be easy, like because sometimes you can feel that guarded
- 16:29Speaker 1: nous and then as somebody interviewing, you're like, exactly, I mean,
- 16:33Speaker 1: I hope, I hope she she lets her guard down
- 16:36Speaker 1: because we're so like Ianna and I are so fun, Like, girl,
- 16:40Speaker 1: you want to hang with us. We're the cool girls,
- 16:42Speaker 1: you know, the earth girls. You don't have to always
- 16:46Speaker 1: be perfect around us. And I feel like that's why
- 16:49Speaker 1: she and I we we gravitate to each other, because
- 16:52Speaker 1: we relate to each other on a mom level, on
- 16:55Speaker 1: on a personal level, on just so many different, so
- 16:58Speaker 1: many different wavelengths, you know, and with her it's you
- 17:01Speaker 1: just get one thing. And what do you think about
- 17:04Speaker 1: the people that said from the last episode when you
- 17:06Speaker 1: guys were all on the trip, they were like, if
- 17:09Speaker 1: Ion is being Lisa's mouth piece or whatever. It was
- 17:14Speaker 1: like because you didn't walk over there, like what do
- 17:17Speaker 1: you do you think you were just supporting her and
- 17:19Speaker 1: so you go handle it or well, the thing is,
- 17:22Speaker 1: the thing is I actually we felt like I was
- 17:24Speaker 1: in the wrong in that situation. And I am not
- 17:28Speaker 1: the type of friend that's gonna like gas you up
- 17:30Speaker 1: when you're wrong. Like we have that kind of relationship
- 17:33Speaker 1: where if I if she feels like I've done something
- 17:35Speaker 1: that's wrong, no I'm not gonna stay it in front
- 17:37Speaker 1: of the group of girls to embarrass her because that's
- 17:39Speaker 1: my girl. But it's just like when you're driving a
- 17:42Speaker 1: car with a police officer right your husband getting over.
- 17:45Speaker 1: You're not gonna be like, um, I told you to
- 17:48Speaker 1: use your signal, but you're not. You're gonna wat God.
- 17:52Speaker 1: We kind of have that relationship. I've said that before.
- 17:55Speaker 1: We kind of had that. We have that relationship where
- 17:57Speaker 1: I can be like, girl, you know you were in
- 17:59Speaker 1: the wrong, you know, go upolicies, but no, I'm not
- 18:01Speaker 1: gonna go. Yeah, it's not your job to go apologize,
- 18:06Speaker 1: you know. And I feel like she never takes accountability either,
- 18:10Speaker 1: you know, if she's always expecting everyone to say sorry
- 18:13Speaker 1: to her, and I've never ever heard her say she's
- 18:15Speaker 1: sorry back, you know. So for me. It's like, I'm
- 18:18Speaker 1: not giving you more than you give me. I match
- 18:20Speaker 1: energies and I'm good here. Well, this is how I
- 18:23Speaker 1: knew things were bad. When they showed that she had
- 18:26Speaker 1: a cigarette. I was like, they there's only probably five
- 18:30Speaker 1: times in housewife history they've shown a housewife's work at
- 18:33Speaker 1: a cigarette. I was like, things are not going well here.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I kind of overreacted too. It was not that deep.
- 18:40Speaker 1: You know, if someone says to me, I'm more successful
- 18:42Speaker 1: than you, I know who I am. Yeah, I'm confident
- 18:45Speaker 1: in who I am. You know. So if that's how
- 18:48Speaker 1: you feel a girl, that's fine. I know who I am.
- 18:50Speaker 1: I don't have to I don't see validation outside validation
- 18:53Speaker 1: from anyone, right. But you also don't need to tell
- 18:56Speaker 1: people how successful you are, and you don't, you know.
- 18:59Speaker 1: So that's why I felt like, I that was not
- 19:01Speaker 1: called for, you know. But at the same time, I
- 19:03Speaker 1: didn't think she needed to storm off and cry about it.
- 19:07Speaker 1: But then again, we had we all handled things differently,
- 19:09Speaker 1: and that's just how I would have handled it. Would
- 19:11Speaker 1: have been like, okay, girl, sure you're more successful. You
- 19:14Speaker 1: know my bank accounts, and then and then how do
- 19:18Speaker 1: you feel about husband's getting involved in general. Tam and
- 19:21Speaker 1: I were just talking about this because it's something that
- 19:23Speaker 1: happened in Atlanta, and I was like, I never want
- 19:25Speaker 1: my husband involved, like however, and she was like, no,
- 19:28Speaker 1: I don't mind it, and I was like, I absolutely,
- 19:30Speaker 1: I don't want him to speak up for me with you,
- 19:33Speaker 1: I'm with you. I don't want my husband to get involved.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I feel like when when women are fighting and arguing,
- 19:39Speaker 1: I think it's important for it to just beat us.
- 19:42Speaker 1: You know. Now, if my husband sees me getting ganged
- 19:45Speaker 1: up on, I know what he's like, He's gonna jump
- 19:47Speaker 1: in and probably be like but he'll pull me away.
- 19:50Speaker 1: He's not gonna stay there and argue with women. He
- 19:53Speaker 1: doesn't do that, you know. Even the comment he made
- 19:55Speaker 1: about Sanbury being a fifty year old influencer, you know.
- 20:02Speaker 1: You know, he actually apologized to her. He was like,
- 20:05Speaker 1: I could see how that watching it back, I can
- 20:07Speaker 1: see how that can be hurtful. But I was responding
- 20:10Speaker 1: to what my wife was sharing with me about you
- 20:13Speaker 1: saying if she wants to suck your husband's sick or whatever.
- 20:15Speaker 1: You know, So, how did that escalate to that point?
- 20:20Speaker 1: Because when we were watching it it really seemed like
- 20:22Speaker 1: everything you guys were just child like. I'm the same.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I thought everything was good. I spoke to her. I
- 20:29Speaker 1: was like, listen, don't grove, iyan and I together. Then
- 20:32Speaker 1: she dropped the them. Then she dropped the them comment,
- 20:37Speaker 1: and then it just escalated from there because I'm like,
- 20:39Speaker 1: I just told you not to group us, and then
- 20:41Speaker 1: you're gonna call us them? But I don't know. She
- 20:44Speaker 1: just got triggered by Sergio talking to me, you know,
- 20:47Speaker 1: so you think it was jealousy? Uh? Then and insecurity?
- 20:51Speaker 1: She is very, very insecure person. She genuinely is, and
- 20:55Speaker 1: I feel like it just came out. She was having
- 20:58Speaker 1: a lot of drink and they say a drunk man
- 21:00Speaker 1: of a lie. So she showed us who she was.
- 21:02Speaker 1: But I was really disappointed in that because I just
- 21:05Speaker 1: had a great conversation with you saying not to group us.
- 21:08Speaker 1: He didn't show up to my fashion show. We're good,
- 21:10Speaker 1: you know, we're gonna move on, and then it just
- 21:13Speaker 1: went left. So and how did your husband take that comment?
- 21:17Speaker 1: He didn't like it at all. He didn't like it.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I know husband would come on, who would want to
- 21:23Speaker 1: hear that their wife someone sending their wife to suck
- 21:26Speaker 1: their husband's stick or whatever she said. You know, he
- 21:29Speaker 1: didn't like it, and so he was giving. But he's
- 21:31Speaker 1: always choosing the higher road. He's a Michelle Obama. I'm
- 21:34Speaker 1: not you know what neither am I I wish I was.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I know, I wish, but you know, he's like one
- 21:43Speaker 1: of those you know, when they go low, you go high.
- 21:45Speaker 1: So he was actually giving perspective, like Lisa, you never
- 21:47Speaker 1: have to stoop to her level. You know, she's just
- 21:50Speaker 1: a fifty year old influencer, like you know who you are,
- 21:53Speaker 1: you know, and that's not it. So that was like
- 21:56Speaker 1: he was kind of trying to give me perspective, but
- 21:59Speaker 1: it just, you know, people took it and ran with it.
- 22:01Speaker 1: But he did apologize to her because he was like, Okay,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I can see how that can be hurtful, but I
- 22:06Speaker 1: don't know what is the big deal about. He was
- 22:08Speaker 1: an age shaming her. You know, it wasn't an age thing.
- 22:11Speaker 1: It was more an influencer. Was more the influencer exactly,
- 22:15Speaker 1: but you know she was projecting. I could say A
- 22:28Speaker 1: really relatable moment that I had was when you were
- 22:31Speaker 1: with your husband, you were talking about your business and
- 22:33Speaker 1: your husband was on his phone because husbands. What we
- 22:37Speaker 1: need to make clear his husbands aren't paid to be
- 22:39Speaker 1: filming housewives. So like when you try to bring them
- 22:43Speaker 1: into things, like I remember trying to tell Edwin like
- 22:46Speaker 1: whatever it was, and he would like you could tell
- 22:48Speaker 1: he was like trying to work, and I'd be like, no,
- 22:50Speaker 1: it's gonna look like you don't care what I'm saying. Yes, yes,
- 22:56Speaker 1: and too they had him there for like twenty minutes
- 22:59Speaker 1: when he said, oh, waiting, waiting, and so he was like,
- 23:03Speaker 1: I have a meeting. I have clients in my office.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Because people don't realize my husband has a whole career,
- 23:09Speaker 1: so and businesses to run like Nina Row is just
- 23:12Speaker 1: his wife's business that he invested in. You know, he's
- 23:14Speaker 1: the CFO because this is what he does for a living,
- 23:17Speaker 1: and I wouldn't he's good at it and he's good
- 23:19Speaker 1: at it, and I wouldn't trust anybody else with with
- 23:21Speaker 1: our money, you know. So people are like, oh, well
- 23:24Speaker 1: fire him as a CFO, Like nos, go nowhere, Okay,
- 23:30Speaker 1: where's the goat? You're gonna have to tune in actually
- 23:33Speaker 1: this yes, tomorrow's episode, you'll get everything that's happening with
- 23:38Speaker 1: MS goats. We love Miss Goats so much. Honestly, she's
- 23:42Speaker 1: a part of the family forever and ever and ever. Amen. Well,
- 23:45Speaker 1: that's nice for you, because my dad sent me birds,
- 23:48Speaker 1: or he sent my kids birds because he felt bad
- 23:50Speaker 1: because when I was a kid, he let our birds go.
- 23:54Speaker 1: So he sent them to my kids for Easter. And
- 23:56Speaker 1: I was like, I never asked for these birds. And
- 23:59Speaker 1: they're not even birds you can hold. They're just like
- 24:01Speaker 1: yelling at your birds all of the time. And one
- 24:05Speaker 1: of my friends was like, we love paarakeets. They're lucky.
- 24:08Speaker 1: There's all these things. I was like, do you want
- 24:12Speaker 1: you are welcome to take them to your family because
- 24:14Speaker 1: my kids don't pay attention to them. And my dad
- 24:17Speaker 1: got so I said it on the podcast. I gave
- 24:19Speaker 1: them what my dad called me, like you got rid
- 24:21Speaker 1: of the birds. I was like, you know, you have
- 24:26Speaker 1: three kids too. I mean, adding pets to the mix
- 24:29Speaker 1: is like adding a whole another kid. And that's how
- 24:33Speaker 1: I felt about Miss Goat, you know. But my kids
- 24:35Speaker 1: cried and they talked us into keeping her, and you know, yeah,
- 24:42Speaker 1: and she's begatting like a neighborhood staple as well. So yeah,
- 24:46Speaker 1: just tune in to see what happens. And I know
- 24:49Speaker 1: we're almost out of time, but is there anything that
- 24:53Speaker 1: you would change about your first season? No, I think
- 24:58Speaker 1: I would just plug me in a room or often.
- 25:02Speaker 1: What what I can't take is when housewives start a
- 25:05Speaker 1: new business, the second thing you become housewives, and then
- 25:08Speaker 1: you can tell that everybody's like yeah, yeah, yeah, gambling
- 25:13Speaker 1: to try to make it legit. Yeah. Well, to convince
- 25:16Speaker 1: my husband to do the show, because he were such
- 25:19Speaker 1: private people, he was like absolutely not. I had to
- 25:22Speaker 1: like show him he understood speaks um currency. So I
- 25:26Speaker 1: had to experience to him in dollars pounds again for
- 25:30Speaker 1: him to get it. And finally he was like, okay, yeah,
- 25:32Speaker 1: it makes sense for your business and I'm going to
- 25:34Speaker 1: support you with it. And is there anything you can
- 25:37Speaker 1: tease us about the reunion? Well, let's just say Lisa
- 25:43Speaker 1: Milan was not all action in her She brought that
- 25:47Speaker 1: same energy that she has in her confessionals. Uh yeah, okay, okay.
- 25:54Speaker 1: And my next question, my final questions. I know you're
- 25:57Speaker 1: you're a busy, busy person. How many people cried um?
- 26:05Speaker 1: I would say one or two, one or two, but
- 26:12Speaker 1: I feel like there were some close moments um for
- 26:15Speaker 1: all of us, for all of us. But I would
- 26:17Speaker 1: say one or two all right? Yeah? And would you
- 26:21Speaker 1: do girls Trip? Oh? Absolutely? Have you done it yet? No?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Oh my god? Together you me? Ion? Who else will
- 26:30Speaker 1: were bring? We need someone else that is not afraid
- 26:34Speaker 1: to say whatever they think? Yeah? Yeah, and that would
- 26:37Speaker 1: just bring the fun as well. I know, have fun,
- 26:40Speaker 1: be a mess? Yeah, yeah, definitely definitely do girls T Yeah,
- 26:46Speaker 1: don't you think it seems so much fun? But I
- 26:48Speaker 1: would want to go on the location, Yes, for sure.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Some we're fun, some were fun and final final, I
- 26:55Speaker 1: love that, I keep saying final, Final, favorite Housewife franchichise
- 27:00Speaker 1: to watch? Oh, I don't know. I like so many
- 27:04Speaker 1: of them for different reasons. You know. The reason I
- 27:06Speaker 1: tune in for Atlanta is not the reason I tune
- 27:07Speaker 1: into Beverly Hills, and same for Jersey. I would say,
- 27:11Speaker 1: I can give you three. I love Jersey, I love
- 27:14Speaker 1: Beverly Hills, and I love Atlanta. If you watched for Ptomach,
- 27:18Speaker 1: I have watched Potomach. I like Potomac a lot as well.
- 27:22Speaker 1: That is mine. I honestly I'm waiting with bated breath.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Oh my god, I want them to bring Monique back.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I know. I had Monique on and her show is
- 27:32Speaker 1: really good too. I want them to bring Monique back,
- 27:35Speaker 1: but I think, yeah, but I bet she could. You
- 27:39Speaker 1: know what, Let's bring Monique on the Girl's trap. Let's girl, Yeah,
- 27:45Speaker 1: let's do it. Look at us casting. I know because
- 27:48Speaker 1: I love that she is real with her husband, her kids.
- 27:51Speaker 1: She's not always trying to give the illusion that everything
- 27:54Speaker 1: is perfect, which makes her so much fun. Yeah, I
- 27:57Speaker 1: love her well. I can't wait to tune then to
- 28:01Speaker 1: the reunion, to the finale, all the things. And also
- 28:05Speaker 1: can I just maybe zip over Dubai to Dubai soon
- 28:07Speaker 1: because I want to try it out? Oh my god, yes,
- 28:09Speaker 1: I will host you want. It's the best place for kids,
- 28:13Speaker 1: so don't just zip over there without the kids. Literally,
- 28:16Speaker 1: we can't leave because it's like a wonderland for children.
- 28:19Speaker 1: It's so safe and my kids are never bored. There's
- 28:21Speaker 1: a different amusement park for them to try almost every
- 28:24Speaker 1: other weekend. Okay, so how long will it take me
- 28:27Speaker 1: from Los Angeles to get to Dubai. It will probably
- 28:30Speaker 1: will probably take you like twelve to fifteen hours. We
- 28:33Speaker 1: can do it, but you fly business, take a night flight.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Let the kids leap, I give him a bit of
- 28:39Speaker 1: drill and you're good to go. You're good. Let Melitonia
- 28:44Speaker 1: goes a long way. Thank you so much for joining
- 28:47Speaker 1: us here. This was well. My love to Tamera wherever
- 28:52Speaker 1: she is, but this was so fun. I'm so glad
- 28:54Speaker 1: we thank you for coming on. Thank you bye, honey.
- 28:58Speaker 1: By t
