Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 0:03Speaker 1: the day on this Tuesday, and I've been a good day.
- 0:09Speaker 1: I also closing remarks. You know, in light of yesterday,
- 0:17Speaker 1: first of all being MLK Day, first of all coming
- 0:23Speaker 1: off the heels of my birthday, and behind all of that,
- 0:29Speaker 1: it was the inauguration of a new president. I've been
- 0:34Speaker 1: watching this play out on television. I've watched the reaction
- 0:40Speaker 1: on Fox. I've watched a lot of the reaction on CNN.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I've watched Trump revoke nearly eighty Biden executive actions. I
- 0:50Speaker 1: watched him pardon all fifteen hundred protesters, no matter what
- 0:57Speaker 1: their crimes were for the January insurrection. I watched him
- 1:03Speaker 1: pardon the head of the Proud Boys, the chief of
- 1:07Speaker 1: the Proud Boys, who have been sentenced to twenty two years.
- 1:14Speaker 1: He pardoned him. I'm saying all this to say this
- 1:19Speaker 1: you are. This is who the American public voted for.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I'm only hoping that some good comes out of this
- 1:31Speaker 1: for the common man's sake. I already know it's gonna work.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I just find for the rich. I already know that,
- 1:40Speaker 1: but I am deeply concerned about how it's going to
- 1:43Speaker 1: pan out. For the common man. So here's my suggestion
- 1:47Speaker 1: to you. Stop moaning about the fact that he's president,
- 1:52Speaker 1: because that is not going to change. He is the
- 1:55Speaker 1: president of the United States. You can stop making the
- 1:59Speaker 1: negative remarks you can talking about he ain't this. He
- 2:02Speaker 1: told you who he was and what he was going
- 2:06Speaker 1: to do, and so far he's doing just that. So
- 2:10Speaker 1: the surprise of it all, you got to remove that.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Here's my suggestion to you. If you have any faith
- 2:20Speaker 1: at all, connect yourself with your faith. In other words,
- 2:27Speaker 1: if you know God, get in close contact with you.
- 2:31Speaker 1: If you don't know God, introduce yourself. He knows exactly
- 2:36Speaker 1: who you are. He made you, and he's been waiting
- 2:39Speaker 1: patiently for your attention. See. God is never far from you.
- 2:44Speaker 1: We are usually far from him. The other day, I
- 2:47Speaker 1: was feeling a little bit distant, you know. I was
- 2:49Speaker 1: thinking to myself. I said, wow, man, I gotta get
- 2:52Speaker 1: a little bit more connected. And I really I just
- 2:55Speaker 1: had to analyze it. It's Steve. It's just you're not
- 2:57Speaker 1: being as prayerful as you need to be. You're not
- 3:01Speaker 1: talking to God as much as you should. God is
- 3:04Speaker 1: available for all of us twenty four to seven. He
- 3:07Speaker 1: is never busy. God is always there. So whenever I
- 3:12Speaker 1: feel distance, it's me. Y'all listen to me. If you
- 3:17Speaker 1: feel distant from God, it's you. God ain't going nowhere.
- 3:21Speaker 1: God is ever present if he's invited in. But God
- 3:25Speaker 1: is a gentleman too. Now. God doesn't push his way
- 3:29Speaker 1: into your life. He wants to be invited into your
- 3:32Speaker 1: life because God has everything to offer you. You offer
- 3:35Speaker 1: nothing to God. God don't need you. God don't need
- 3:39Speaker 1: you to accomplish nothing he doing because guess what, he'll
- 3:41Speaker 1: get somebody else. Somebody is willing to do God's will,
- 3:47Speaker 1: and he uses guess what, y'all, imperfect people. He uses
- 3:51Speaker 1: people just like me. He uses people just like you.
- 3:56Speaker 1: God ain't looking for perfect people. He's looking for people
- 4:01Speaker 1: who are willing to do his will. And you're not
- 4:05Speaker 1: going to be perfect. You can stop listening to these
- 4:07Speaker 1: preachers on these airways talking to you about perfection. I'll
- 4:11Speaker 1: be online, man, I'd be de seioud. I've been running
- 4:13Speaker 1: too a lot of preachers, right. This is evangelical guy
- 4:17Speaker 1: who's preaching that if you have facial hair, you can't
- 4:20Speaker 1: go to heaven. What since the beginning of time beard's hair?
- 4:27Speaker 1: Are they ain't going to heaven because they got facial hair.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It's people doing some mix up stuff. It's people talking
- 4:32Speaker 1: about if you celebrate Christmas, you going to Hell for Christmas. Really,
- 4:38Speaker 1: it's so many people that have got this thing mixed up.
- 4:41Speaker 1: They way listen to me, y'all, get in touch with God, really, really,
- 4:45Speaker 1: get in your touch with God. Now, if you can
- 4:47Speaker 1: find you a good faith based church, then that's a
- 4:50Speaker 1: good thing. But get yourself a relationship with God and
- 4:54Speaker 1: understand who and how God really is. Man. God loves
- 4:59Speaker 1: you no matter what you've done. I don't care how
- 5:04Speaker 1: many mistakes you've made. God is in the forgiving business.
- 5:08Speaker 1: This is what's gonna get you the next four get
- 5:11Speaker 1: through you next four years, and get you through the
- 5:14Speaker 1: rest of these years. You gotta have God, because if
- 5:17Speaker 1: you're waiting on the cavalry to come over the hill,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I'm sixty eight years old. The cavalry is yet to arrive.
- 5:26Speaker 1: You know. I actually used to look for it. I
- 5:29Speaker 1: used to actually wait on the cavalry to come over
- 5:31Speaker 1: the hill. I've nobody's ever come to save me except God.
- 5:37Speaker 1: He has used certain people, but it has been God,
- 5:41Speaker 1: cause most people that helped me didn't even really know
- 5:44Speaker 1: what they were doing on my behalf. It's just God
- 5:47Speaker 1: just touched them and they put some I remember a
- 5:49Speaker 1: dude named Charlie Williams in Augusta, Georgia who owned the company,
- 5:52Speaker 1: a glass replacement company, Charlie Williams Auto Glass. I was
- 5:57Speaker 1: homeless and he didn't know it. And I had a
- 6:00Speaker 1: cooler in the back of my car and he saw it.
- 6:02Speaker 1: He filled it up with food. One day. He's a man.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I say, you had a cooler back downside. I saw
- 6:07Speaker 1: you was low on some stuff. I put some stuff
- 6:09Speaker 1: in there for you. I don't know if he knew
- 6:11Speaker 1: I was homeless, but that helped me. Man, make it
- 6:14Speaker 1: another two weeks. God sends people and puts people in
- 6:18Speaker 1: your path. God has every single thing you need everything.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I strongly suggest you get in touch with God because
- 6:28Speaker 1: you need for all. Steve Harvey contests no purchase necessary,
