- 0:04SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the You Already Know Podcast, a show all about intuition and the wild, mysterious ways our inner knowing speaks to us.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: In each episode, you'll hear stories from guests about life-changing moments when they trusted their intuition, even though it completely defied logic and how it changed the trajectory of their lives.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: It will be fun, at times hilarious, and deeply inspiring.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: I'm so grateful you're here.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: Now let's dive into today's episode.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: Hello and welcome back.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited to share this episode with you guys.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: I have the most amazing guest on You Already Know today.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: It is my dear friend, Claire, who is just going to be such a treat for all of you.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: Claire, welcome to You Already Know.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, thank you for having me.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: It's lovely to be here.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited to uh dive in.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: I can hear, is that the background of um the square?
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: I can hear it a little bit in the best round.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Can you?
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Oh, I've got noise.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Should I check noise cancelling?
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: I like it.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: I can hear it almost sounds like birds.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it sounds like birds chirping.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, it is birds.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: It's birds because we've got we've got trees in the square.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: So I live on the square in the town, which is very European.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: It's like a a boulevard kind of thing, but with houses all around it that have shops and restaurants, etc., cafes, that kind of thing.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: And um dipped in between are like linden trees, like lime trees, which are beautiful.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: So at the moment they're going orangey coloured, but they were bright green earlier, and before that, flowers all over them, green flowers all over them.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: So very beautiful.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: So it's it's a very nice place.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: And behind that, we have the Galty Mountains, which are just breathtaking.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, that sounds stunning.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: I love this for you.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: So, you guys, just so you know, Claire is joining us from Ireland.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Um, County Cork.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: And it's a new move there, and you're loving it?
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: I am, I love it.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: It's a great country.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: I highly recommend it to anybody.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: And where did you move from, so everybody knows?
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Previously I was in um on the Welsh borders between um Shropshire in the UK, uh as in England, and um Wales.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: So that's called the Welsh Marches, where where I come from, and we lived on the Welsh side.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: So uh in a beautiful little black and white cottage in the Welsh countryside.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: It was so beautiful.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: It really was.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Oh and now you're on to a new chapter, which is so exciting.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: I am yes.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Uh I want to get into, I'm gonna share a little bit more about you and we'll get right into it.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: So, you guys, Claire, Claire and I met in a very serendipitous way.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: I want to share this story before we go into your bio.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: I am trying to think how it was.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, we met through Lauren.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: So a friend of mine who's also been on this podcast said, You've got to do a session with Claire.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: She's a voice teacher, which we'll get into during during this um interview, you guys.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: And she goes, but she's really a healer.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: And I was at this major juncture in my life that we'll maybe get into later.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Oh my God, I need a healer.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: I need to talk to somebody to get me out of my head.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: And so I reached out to Claire.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: And within the first, I want to say five minutes, you're like, We've we've we've known each other before.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: And I was like, oh my God, we definitely have.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: It was like an instant sisterhood, past life.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: I don't even know what's happening, but God, I love you so much for the second I met you.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: It was, it was.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: And you've been such an amazing friend to me this year.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: I can't even begin to say, honestly, the best friend uh ever.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: Uh so so good and kind and supportive.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: You you're wonderful, Ash.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, I love you too.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: Well, likewise, I mean, I don't know what the heck we would have done without each other in this year.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: And you guys, you're gonna hear more about her amazing gifts and what I was so lucky to benefit from in that call.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: And then you guys are gonna learn so much from her.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: So, Claire is based in the rolling green hills of Ireland.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Um, her name's Claire Fleet Needle, for you to know the full name, is the creator, teacher, and practitioner of Pulse, which is pure, universal, light, sacred energy.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: By using a unique combination of guided meditation, deep energy healing, she helps people recover, rebalance, and renew.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: She's also a voice and public speaking coach, guiding people to find their authentic voices.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: And my God, is she so good at it?
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: With this work, she shows clients how to speak their truth and tell their stories with power and freedom.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: She also uses vocal sound and releases to remove energetic blocks and disconnect learned limitations, showing every soul a way to find themselves and to stand in their own beautiful sacred light.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: That's so true, you guys.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: You're in for such a treat.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: Um, okay, Claire.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: Well, as you know, this this podcast is all about intuition, which is the driving force, I feel like, in so much of the work that you do is intuition.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: And I want to get into like what let's just go right way back in since I'm I know a little bit about this story, but I know the listeners would learn so much from you about this because I feel like you've had a unique relationship with your intuition from the time you were so young.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: Can you share a little bit about that knowing that you've always carried inside of you and what how you've cultivated such a strong relationship with it over the years?
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: I think uh when I was little, um I came from a family that was not magical, but there were definitely abilities within the family, let's say.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: My grandma definitely had abilities, my English grandma, and um one of her daughters did as well.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: So it's kind of accepted.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: And I would see spirits as a child and tell them about it and say, George at my grandmother's house, George is upstairs, he was the man who'd owned the house previously and had died up there.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Uh, and George has told me that all these different things, and I would tell them, and it would often be about conversations they'd had downstairs that I couldn't possibly have heard.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: It was an extremely creaky house.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: I couldn't have gone downstairs and listened, it was impossible.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: So he would tell me what was going on downstairs and I would chat to him, not knowing that this was all considered odd by other people.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: But at the same age, I'd go to my Irish grandmother's house and I'd go and sit with the neighbour's dog next door on the pavement and I'd feel the dog and I would be healing it and I'd be able to tell you uh tell where he was hurting or whether he was happy or if he had a sore tooth or and the dog would just calmly sit next to me and let me let me do this.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: So I knew or all automatically already how to heal, but I obviously I didn't know that I would do anything with that as I got older.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: Now when I got to school, I realised that that was considered odd because I could see things that the other children could not see and they thought that was strange.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: So I shut it down because I wanted to fit in.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: Right through my te right into my teenage I did, and when I got into my teenage, it became overwhelming, like things were happening that were so powerful and kind of scary that I didn't know how to deal with.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: Uh I had no choice but to face it.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: And all my life people have asked me to heal them, and I thought, why are you asking me this question?
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: I'm not a healer.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: Obviously, they already guessed it and I didn't see it.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: So what did so this is so commonly the case I have found with everybody who's a healer and a psychic, which I know we all are to a certain degree, but who did who do it for a living and share this as their offering to the world, that at some point they shut down those gifts?
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: Like that is always a part of the story because I get it, it's overwhelming.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: So, what helped you in that moment where it came flooding back?
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: Like, did it feel like a psychic awakening in a sense or an intuitive awakening?
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: Like, was it you said it was overwhelming.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: It was overwhelming.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: It's quite scary because I I never I still have never had any what you might call formal education on things like mediumship or any of those things.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: I've always done what came completely intuitively.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Even my form of healing is my own.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: I didn't go and learn it like Reiki or something.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: I've just it's come through me over time.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: So I I would I I wouldn't know what to do.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: So when I was uh in my late teens, early 20s, I used to do tarot readings to make money because uh not realizing that that that's because I'm naturally able to read people and they would think I was a genius because things would come out of these tarot readings and they were like, This is amazing.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: How are you doing this?
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: And I would think, no, no idea.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: But when I was doing when I was doing them, I would sometimes get spirits come through.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: I'll never forget one a particular one.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: Uh a friend of mine brought her friend over and her grandma just appeared, and we were in a first floor flat and they didn't see her, but they felt the cur they saw the curtains move because she just suddenly appeared in the window.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: And I was so frightened, I didn't know what to do because I didn't know what I didn't know how to deal with it.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: I don't I also didn't know how to get her to leave when they'd finished.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: I it was it was just it it was quite frightening, but over time I did meet people who told me how to do things and how to move people on and how to kind of create a bit more of a filter and protection so that I wasn't, you know, scared by my encounters.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: But even now, uh this is really strange, but when uh my partner Craig came to look at this apartment, we just realised about two days ago we were chatting about it.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: I spoke to the landlord on the phone because I was still in Wales, and there was a woman stood next to the landlord who had a mop in her hand as if she'd been cleaning, and I happened to mention it to Craig, and he said there was no woman there, and I said, There was, I saw her on the phone, she was stood next to the landlord, and he went, There was no woman there.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: I said, I saw her as clear as day, she had a mop in her hand.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: And he said, I'm I'm telling you, there was no woman there, but I saw her like I can see you now.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: So it still happens when I'm not expecting it, and I just assumed she was his wife or the cleaning lady or because she was holding a mop.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: Or who she was, I don't know.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: Wait, so how the hell do you decipher if it's a little how how do you?
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: I mean when I was a teenager, well, I was about 19, so nearly 20, I it was like um a I don't mean the laugh, but it's kind of it's ridiculous.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: It's ridiculous.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: He's like, Your he said, your abilities are just they're just out of this world.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, but I mean I don't know how that's useful, but yeah, but maybe I don't know.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: But when I was about 19, I remember being on a bank holiday, so that's like our national holiday, going to a pub with some friends around the corner.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: And I went to buy a round of drinks at the bar, and there was a man sat on a stool next to me, and he was just having a chit-chat with me about the weather, and the the barmaid kept looking at me strangely, and I thought, oh, it must be he's quite old, but it must be like uh his his girlfriend or something.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: She thinks I'm trying to pick him up.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, as if he was about 80.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: And she kept glancing at me, and I paid for the uh paid for the drinks and everything, and then I I brought them back, and all my friends were sitting looking at me like with this stunned expression on their face.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: I was like, Are you okay?
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Has something happened?
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: And they went, Who are you talking to?
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: And I I turned around and went like that, and I realised I could see the light coming through him.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: I realised he wasn't solid, and I had been speaking to a spirit at the bar, and then obviously the barmaid thought I was crazy.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, she's like this.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: She's like, This checks cuckoo for cocoa puffs over here.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: She probably thought I was high, and I really I wasn't even drunk.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: So it was that was the first drink of the day.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: So I definitely definitely wasn't drunk.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: But I I was so I was so embarrassed.
- 12:54SPEAKER_00: I just said to everybody, oh, I was just talking to the barmaid, and they went, You look like you were talking to the bar still.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: And I went, Oh, I don't know what you mean.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: And I just sat down and just carried on like nothing had happened, but I was mortified.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: I was so embarrassed.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: But when I left, the guy nodded to me as if to say bye.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: So there you go.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: Wait, this is hilarious.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: So how did so does that still happen?
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, obviously it happened on the phone.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: It did, yeah, about two months ago.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's so weird.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: She, I mean, I could see her just like I can see you.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: I just it never occurred to me she might be a spirit because when I said hi to him, she sort of moved in close as if, you know, stay away from my chat kind of thing.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: And I thought, I thought I'm not flirting with him, I'm asking him who he is and what the situation is.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: I thought, wow, what strange behaviour.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: But she did look very like him, and I'm wondering whether he's got a deceased sister that perhaps, anyway.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: Who knows?
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: Who knows?
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: But anyway, she's not here now, that's all that matters.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: Well, that is what matters, yeah.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: Wow, okay, so that's wild.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: So that's I guess you could tie that into intuition, but that's also like mediumistic and and psychic abilities.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: So how have you, especially with those abilities in addition to your intuition, how have you well, first, okay, I think we need to go back.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: We need to go back to what it is that you do so people can have an understanding.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: Because when I reached out to you, let's let's start with that story because I feel like it'll give context for people to see how they can understand your work in a really meaningful way.
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: So I was at this crossroads, I know you can remember it vividly, and I um had gone through a friendship breakup and I was devastated.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: And I was like at this crossroads with my business, and I was just in so much grief that I couldn't think clearly.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: I couldn't, it felt as though I couldn't access my intuition, even though of course it's always there.
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: And I think that's common for people when they're in grief.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: It's hard for them to really trust that knowing because it's it's underneath all the sadness, right?
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: Um, and so when I reached out to you, yes, I was interested in the voice coaching, which I'd love for you to share as well, but I was much more interested in the healing part.
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: And we went right into it.
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: And what I found so reassuring is the word for me, and and even I would say really comforting to my soul was the amount of certainty in which you share your insights.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: It is, um, I've spoken, as you know, to like probably over 20, maybe more psychics and um mediums over the years.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: But you deliver it with like a level of certainty and also humor at times, which I find to be the sweetest spot in the sense of it's like I'm able to receive it so well.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: That's why I tell everybody.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: She's like Mary Poppins with a great sense of humor.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: That's what I say about you because your accent.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: And I remember so clearly after our session, it was like I returned to my knowing.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: And that's what I think you have such a gift with helping people.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: Even it's like giving permission to trust that inner knowing while also doing the energy healing.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: So, can you share a little bit about how you arrived at feeling so comfortable with trusting that, and then more about your process of how you help people with your energy healing?
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: So I suppose I became confident with it because um obviously during the teenage years, when I cut it out, I was also trying to ignore my intuition because you know it's easier not to hear it as we know.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: It's life's easier when you don't listen to it.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: But um, over time I did start listening to it and I was proved right so many times, just for my own benefit, about people, about situations, about what I was sensing, what I was hearing, what I was feeling.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: I I often see things in snapshots like a little piece of film.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: And if I can work out what's happening in that little piece of film in a millisecond, I know that that's what's coming.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: I know that's what's gonna happen or or what has happened, and I can see it so clearly.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: And I've been proved right so many times with people that I suppose it's given me a confidence in it that perhaps hopefully is founded.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: I hope it is.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm sure occasionally I am wrong, but that's only because I know certain variables.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: If there's a variable I'm not aware of, then I can't I I sometimes can't see that.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I can, but sometimes I can't.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: But that I think that's what makes me so certain because I see it so clearly.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, so you see it like a film?
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Like a little snapshot of a film.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it's a moving film and there'll be like a it'll a couple of seconds of it.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it's just like a pi like a snapshot, literally like a photograph that I can go back and look at and look at all the details and try and work out what it is.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: But I'm doing that while I'm speaking to the person.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: So sometimes my eyes might look like they're going off, but it's because I'm looking in my head at what what I've been shown, what what what has happened.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: And I think that probably gives me some certainty.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: And I always go off my gut intuition, and also as I've told you before, I kind of communicate with my body because my body is often often picking up things that my conscious brain is um filtering, whereas my body is just having the pure, undiluted energy that's happening.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: So I communicate with my body.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: Now I know with your psych, it's like side to side for me, it's back and forward, and over time moving the body back and forward, forward for a yes, back for a no, I I've I've distilled into my hands and feet, so I can often be sat looking at seemingly um like I'm not moving or I'm completely still, and my feet are doing like jazz feet under the table because they're telling me all sorts of things, so they're moving and t and giving me information, and that happens during the healings as well, because I'm so uh immersed with the person because it's it's like a almost like a dual hypnosis in a way, even though we're not hypnotised, but I I'm I'm having an out-of-body experience while it's happening, so it's like my body stays behind and carries on communicating things to me, and it sounds crazy, but that is really what happens.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: So I kick my shoes off so so so that my feet can tell me things that I might be missing because I'm so immersed in the out-of-body.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: Obviously, that takes energy in itself.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: Uh, it's giving me information about things as well.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: So I think that's why I'm so certain because I've got that very strong communication with my innate intuition.
- 19:54SPEAKER_01: That's incredible.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: And you've just ch and like you said earlier, like you've chosen to trust it, and then it's been verified so so many times that just like a muscle, it's like strengthened.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: So can you walk through what a healing looks like so people can understand more deeply what I know it's so different for every person, so that may be hard to explain, but what we it is, but there's the general the the specifics are kind of um different for everybody, but the the general foundation there, and that is that I talk to the person first, and often I'm reading them as we talk, and I will discuss what I'm feeling and seeing, and I'll say, I can see such and or I'm sensing such and such a thing.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: Uh and they'll say yes, and etc.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: So so I know I'm on the right, the right sort of path with them, and I'll be getting images and I'll I'll see versions of them off often.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: So, like I might see a five-year-old version of them or a 16-year-old version of them at a point where something traumatic or difficult happened in their lives where they disassociated from that part of themselves.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: And part of my job as a healer is to reconnect with that version because often people feel can't feel peaceful or relaxed because they're not all together, they don't feel whole because they aren't whole.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: Now, in the shamanic sense, that is called soul retrieval where parts of the soul split off.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: I call it a soul split where I will go back.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: I often explain it a bit like whore cruxes, you know, in Harry Potter where he takes part of his soul when he kills somebody, I'm not advocating that obviously, but there are bits of his soul sort of sitting about all over the place, uh Voldemort's soul, so that he can keep being reborn.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: Now, obviously that's not the same, but the the soul split idea is the same where there are bits of you like I must have had I I must have reconnected about 28 of mine so far, all the traumatic things that happened, get getting that version of me, healing it, putting it back, a bit like a Russian doll, you know how they all fit inside one another.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: So there's there's that element to it.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: So when you're actually having The session, what happens is I will relax you, and it will feel very much like a guided meditation.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: And then I will start bringing energy through and cleansing and clearing and seeing what comes up.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Things might appear, people might appear, sometimes spirits appear.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: We'll sometimes do an out-of-body where I'll ask the person to come with me, and because I'm out of body, they feel safe, and obviously they can see the silver cord that connects them to their bodies, and we'll go on a little journey together.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: So we might go to a woodland or a beach or whatever shows up, that's where we will go.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: And we will do further cleansing of the spirit there and often come back and become whole again and then accept an uh an old version back in.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: Once we've healed that old version and found out what it needed, given it what it needed, and then it will be ready to come back in.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: So that that's that's how it that's how it goes generally.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: But a lot of people they just think it's a guided meditation.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: Often they can feel the heat of the energy, and sometimes they will feel fizzy, tingling feelings, hands and feet, sometimes even nose, I've I've been told.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: Or lips, even that's happened too.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: Um but other than that, it feels very much like a guided meditation.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: But afterwards, as the days go on, they start to think, oh, something is quite different here.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: And often they don't even notice until uh a scenario happens where they would once have behaved in a certain way, and all of a sudden they find that they're handling it better or they're able to cope with it or take charge and control of it and be braver with it, and they think, Oh my god, I would never have done that before.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: What has happened?
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: Well, that's what happened.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: We put you back together again.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's so true.
- 23:45SPEAKER_01: And my best friend said that it was like the deepest meditation she's ever gone in her life and felt so different afterwards for everybody listening, just so you know, it it does feel like a meditation, but you can also tell there's so much more happening when it's happening, and certainly after.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, definitely after, yeah.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's the best.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: Uh okay.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: I am curious, Claire, about having all these abilities, right?
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: And being able to see to the extent that you can, which is obviously a lot.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: Um, what is one situation in your own life where you trusted your intuition, even though it defied logic?
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: And it was a huge change, like a change in the trajectory of your life for the better.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: Can you think of anything that comes to mind?
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: I'm living it I know.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: I want everybody to hear, it's the best, yeah.
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: Can you whatever you're comfortable sharing, obviously.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: So I was with uh a lovely man called Chris for um about 27 years, and we were very happy with each other, um, but we had become more like brother and sister or flatmates.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: And we were bec we were very much growing apart.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: So obviously I'm on my spiritual path, and that's not Chris's scene at all.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: He's not really interested in it, he doesn't really understand it, he doesn't have he he's a muggle, God bless him.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: There's nothing wrong with being a muggle, but he is a muggle, and I am quite clearly a magical folk.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: So over time it kind of I I felt like it had come to its natural conclusion, and I had actually started to think about maybe, even though I was living in my dream house, I wasn't happy.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: And if you can fight as much as I did to get that beautiful house with all the beautiful grounds and everything, and still not be happy, there was something very wrong.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: And I knew that.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: And I was experiencing um vomiting, and that went on for about five years where I kept vomiting and I didn't know why.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: So I couldn't keep food down, and I'd I'd been for medical checks, they didn't know what it was, and I was vomiting up yellow stuff, which is just mad.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: There was nothing wrong with my ghoul bladder, my pancreas, nothing.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: So it was all very strange.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: And um I was doing a lot of healing work and stuff like that, even though I was quite ill, and I was still teaching teaching voice.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: So one of my voice clients um was an Irish guy called Craig.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: Um and we became we became friends because we had uh a lot in common.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: And he came to my house at Christmas and we were just friends, and he came at another time after that, and we were again just friends.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: And then I kind of threw a couple of things that happened, uh uh specifically a drum that he gave me for my birthday in March, I realised that his feelings were had grown and were different, and it made me think about how I felt, and if I was really honest, I'd realised that I was I'd fallen in love with him and that I was attracted to him, which I ne I'm very rarely attracted to people.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: This is the thing.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: I can see somebody's handsome and I can see somebody has got you know, got it all going on, but it just doesn't do anything for me.
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: I'm not I'm very, very rarely attracted to somebody.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: So all of that was kind of a bit mind-blowing for me, but I I still I mean, nothing was meant to happen or anything, and we had agreed to just be friends, and we were just being friends.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: Um and uh he had sent me a message about wanting to hug me and wanting to melt into me.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: That was all that was written.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: It wasn't sexual, it was nothing else.
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: Anyway, I had been messaging him uh one day when I was making a cover for the drum he had bought me for my birthday.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: It was like a beautiful, like shamanic drum, hand painted, gorgeous, must have cost hundreds of pounds.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: Anyway, um I was upstairs doing that, and Chris kept coming in the room, and I thought, why does he keep coming in the room?
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: And he seemed quite agitated.
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: I I didn't really know what was wrong with him.
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: So in in the end, I thought, right, I'll just go downstairs.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: I'll bring all my sewing stuff downstairs.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: So I took my phone downstairs and I took um my sewing stuff downstairs and I went back up for something.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: And when I came back, he was ashing and shaking all over.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: And I said, What on earth's the matter?
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: And he said, I've just checked your phone and I said, and and he said, I've seen a message from Craig.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: You're having an affair.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: I said, We're not having an affair, what are you talking about?
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: And he said, I found this message, I said we are just friends, and he said, No, I found this message, it's over.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: I I I I won't be with somebody who cheats on me.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I've cheated on me.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: What are you talking about?
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: Anyway, he stormed out and I phoned Craig and I said, This has just happened.
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: I don't know what he's talking about.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: And I'm while he's scrolling through the phone and I found this one message from about two weeks before, where he'd said about wanting to hug me.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: Uh I was like, Well, that's it.
- 28:56SPEAKER_00: And he's and I said, I don't know what to do.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: And and Craig said, Well, if he's broken up with you, then what can you do?
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: And he said, Can I have a minute and I'll call you back?
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: And I said, Yeah, okay.
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: So obviously I'm in a terrible state because I don't know what the hell is going on, and I I I don't know what to do, but I'm thinking, well, actually, I wanted to finish things anyway, I just really didn't want to hurt him.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: Certainly not like that, where he thinks something is going on when it absolutely wasn't.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: And um, Craig called me back and he said, I have to be really honest, uh, I am really in love with you, and I I would I want us to be together.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: And so I was single 40 seconds, ladies and gentlemen.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: And so that's what happened.
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: So that's what happened.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: But I ha I stayed with Chris for about 11, 12 weeks and tried to help him through his process of grieving, etc.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Uh, and which was really hard, it was very painful.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: It's still painful now because I do still love him and I know he misses me terribly, but we're not in love with each other.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: We love each other dearly, but like friends, and he admits that too.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: And so I ended up moving all my stuff to Ireland, where Craig comes from, and moving into a a little one-bedroom flat, which is where I am now, after living in a large three-bedroom cottage.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: And so here I am starting all over again.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: So I tr so I trusted my intuition because anybody on paper would look at my life with Chris and go, You're mad, don't leave it.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: You've got everything you have ever worked for, your whole life for.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: You've got your dream house, don't mess it up.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: But I knew in my soul it was time to go.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: I just knew it was time to leave.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: And I also knew that Craig was the right person.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: I kept trying to talk myself out of it because there's an age difference between us that some people might think is like wrong.
- 30:58SPEAKER_00: And perhaps it is on some level, but we don't feel like that when we are together.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: So it doesn't feel and nobody nobody has noticed, I think, is telling.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: Nobody here has noticed that there is a a quite a large age gap between us.
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: That's the sort of fascinating.
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: It's the sort of town where you would think they would notice straight away they have nobody has noticed.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: So we obviously we obviously look perfectly natural together.
- 31:23SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: But m more than anything, I had to listen to my intuition, even though my brain kept telling me you're mad, this is a crazy thing to do.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: Moving to Ireland with somebody that you've never even been physical with, moving into an apartment with them, which is what I've done.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: Um is a mad thing to do, but I knew in my solar plexus, I just knew I couldn't be apart from him.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: I just knew I I had to go.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: And I as much as I hated hurting Chris, I knew that was over too, and it was time.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: So that's me.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: So go.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: No, go ahead.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: I was gonna say that was me literally living my intuition against what most people would say common sense.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: And I have loads of common sense as well.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: That's the other thing.
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: It's not like I'm one of these flighty people that goes.
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: I mean, I have lots of common sense, but I just knew I knew in my heart and my soul that this was the right thing to do.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: That's so beautiful.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, talk about a story to encourage and inspire people to just trust fall into life.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: And how has it been since you've been there?
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: It's been wonderful.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: We're really happy.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: We've got so much in common, and we want to do similar things, and we've been like on a shimanic course together at Dundary Park, which is a very famous shamanic school in County Meath, um, north of Dublin.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: Um, we're gonna be doing mind body uh expos together where he'll be doing his mediumship and psychic reading and I'll be doing healing.
- 32:56SPEAKER_00: I mean, it when I told Chris that's what I was gonna do, because we're still friends and we still message each other, he said, Oh, that sounds good, that maybe they should have that here.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: And I was like, they've had that in the UK for a really long time.
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: And I thought that just shows me, it just shows me that because I could never do that because he wouldn't want to do it.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: So he just didn't know it existed.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: Do you see what I mean?
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: So it just kind of reiterates that I've made the right choice, even though it means I'm poor again.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: It's just money.
- 33:30SPEAKER_01: Well, and it won't be for long.
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: But also let it share about the physical aspect of that too, because I do think that we've talked about it, obviously, so many times that when we're ignoring our intuition, it shows up physically if we've ignored it long enough, sometimes right away, but a lot of times the the symptoms, if you will, build up in the body.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: And so you had said that you'd been throwing up, which sounds awful for five years.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: And now Yeah, I was.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: So I was throwing yellow bile.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: No, as soon as I got here, it stopped, and I've not been sick once.
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: And I was sick every day for five years, sometimes in the morning and night, and I really struggled to keep food down to the point where I wasn't didn't have malnutrition, but I was I was lacking certain vitamins and minerals because I couldn't keep food down.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: And it was it was like yellow stuff, it was horrible, it was really horrible.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: And I of course you worried there's something seriously wrong with you.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: And I'd had I'd been to the doctors, I'd seen you and your psychic, it helped me psychologically with so many things, but it didn't stop the vomiting, and I just thought there is something going on here, but you know, I knew the whole time, the whole time that uh I was going through that phase, I could see it just there, and I didn't want to look at it.
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: I knew that Chris and I weren't right together, but I loved him so much I didn't want to hurt him because when you've been with somebody such a long time, they are like they're like your family, but he was like a brother, not a boyfriend.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: And I just didn't want to look at it, and so my body was making me puke to kind of say, Listen to yourself, listen to yourself, and I just I just wasn't, I just wasn't.
- 35:06SPEAKER_00: But yeah, as soon as I arrived here, it stopped.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: I've been able to eat perfectly normally and I haven't vomited a single time.
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: That isn't credible.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: I haven't told Chris that yet because I don't want him to be hurt because he will think that's his fault, and it's not his fault, it was just my intuition trying to communicate to me what we were both trying to ignore.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I completely understand that.
- 35:29SPEAKER_01: But how I'm so happy for you that you're no longer throwing up.
- 35:34SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's incredible on every level, too.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: It's like just such a clear signal to trust what you already know, even and especially when it feels scary and that it will always work out, even if it doesn't feel like it in the moment.
- 35:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 35:54SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's so beautiful.
- 35:55SPEAKER_01: I love this story so much, and I'm so glad you got to share it.
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: And I know it's gonna help at least one person, but my guess is many, because I know there's so many people that are afraid to trust that knowing, especially.
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, my story of my divorce.
- 36:09SPEAKER_01: It's like it's so hard when you've been with somebody for such a long time because it's a death in so many ways.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: It's a death of the life that you envisioned you'd had, it's a death of the relationship that you poured so much of your time and energy into.
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: It's even a death of the old identity of who you were in that relationship and the life that you built from that identity.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: Like there's so much that feels like it's at risk, right?
- 36:39SPEAKER_01: But at the end of the day, when your soul's calling you as loudly as yours was, taking that and as loudly as mine was too.
- 36:46SPEAKER_01: Like taking that risk is always, yeah, even if initially it's so scary and painful, it is always going to be the best for everybody because whenever you make that choice that's in alignment with your soul, everybody wins in that situation because it's the truth.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: And your body's communicating that with you by no longer suffering.
- 37:10SPEAKER_01: This show is brought to you by something I made with my whole heart, the Owning It Journal, a manifestation journal that helps you strengthen your intuition and come home to your most authentic self.
- 37:21SPEAKER_01: Each section pairs four daily prompts with guided meditations that regulate your nervous system before you write.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: So you're creating from your inner knowing instead of fear, pressure, or conditioning.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: And you already know listeners get 15% off at ashsabulka.com with code you already know 15.
- 37:41SPEAKER_01: That's you already know one five, all one word in all caps.
- 37:47SPEAKER_01: And I've gotta say, these journals make great gifts for your friends.
- 37:50SPEAKER_01: Now back to the show.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: I think when you do split up with somebody, uh I think it's like the end of a civilization.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: You've had your own culture and all of a sudden it it finishes and a new new one begins.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: But I felt like I had actually grieved for quite a long time in the relationship because I knew that things weren't right and I was trying desperately to to try and uh change it or work on it or whatever it was, because obviously when you've put that much time and effort into being with somebody, you don't really want it to end if it's all possible.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: But I just I I knew it was I knew it was time.
- 38:32SPEAKER_00: But um yeah.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: I'm still he's still upset.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 38:39SPEAKER_01: I'm sure.
- 38:41SPEAKER_01: I'm sure he's still upset.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: But I was I said, like what gave you the courage?
- 38:46SPEAKER_01: Like what gave you the courage to to take such a massive leap.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: I mean a massive leap.
- 38:54SPEAKER_01: Like I've been scared to move to New York and you moved countries.
- 38:58SPEAKER_01: Not for the first time.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: Like that's the well, it's kind of that's not if you know the story of my life, it doesn't seem quite as remarkable as it might seem.
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: But because um when I finished university, I moved to Australia and I lived with we lived with um a friend of ours that we'd worked with.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: And then we wanted to stay in Australia and we couldn't because we just were sure of the the amount of points you needed, because the there's a point system to what what what you're bringing to the country, so what skills, what abilities you have, what education you have, etc.
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: And I think we were two points shy of the of of meeting it, so we couldn't stay, so the nearest country was New Zealand.
- 39:42SPEAKER_00: So we moved to New Zealand and um we didn't know a single person in New Zealand, I mean not a single person.
- 39:50SPEAKER_00: And we got there and we bought a a secondhand car at a a car fair in Auckland, and we had a tent and a few clothes, and we just drove round and lived in a tent on the North Island for about four or five weeks, and when we got to Wellington, the car broke down, so that's where we stayed.
- 40:11SPEAKER_00: So this is the sort of life that I've had, Ash.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: So into it's so intuitive.
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: This is not so weird as you as it might seem.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I've done that, and then uh since then, obviously, and then uh uh I went back to the UK and then we moved to Wales, which even though it's the same land mass as a different country, so and again, didn't know a single person there.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: We moved there like two and a half hours away from anybody that we knew, which might not be a huge thing in America, but in the UK, that would uh all everybody we knew were like, Well, why are you doing that?
- 40:42SPEAKER_00: And it's like because it's a lovely place and it's a lovely house.
- 40:45SPEAKER_00: So that has been our that well, certainly my way of living my whole life because when I was about 18, 17, 18, I worked in a nursing home as a cleaner, uh, like uh for elderly people, largely women.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: And I remember cleaning an old lady's room and she said to me, Never be an old lady sitting in a nursing home like me, thinking I could have done that and I didn't.
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: Be an old lady who says I had a go, and even if it didn't work out, I tried.
- 41:13SPEAKER_00: And that is how I've always lived my life ever since.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: Like it's an adventure.
- 41:17SPEAKER_00: Because that's beautiful.
- 41:19SPEAKER_00: I don't have children and I don't have responsibilities in the usual sense that most women my age have got, like children, etc.
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: So why not?
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: Why not do it?
- 41:29SPEAKER_00: Why not have a go?
- 41:30SPEAKER_00: And even if it doesn't work out, you tried it.
- 41:33SPEAKER_01: I love that so much.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: It's one thing to hear that philosophy, but to be able to hear somebody's story who's living it is so deeply inspiring.
- 41:45SPEAKER_01: And it's so clear that you just trust yourself and your intuition so deeply to be able to take those risks and to just go for it.
- 41:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 41:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: That may be because I'm crazy.
- 41:59SPEAKER_00: We're not sure.
- 42:00SPEAKER_01: You're not crazy.
- 42:01SPEAKER_01: You're not crazy.
- 42:03SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 42:04SPEAKER_01: I love adventure.
- 42:05SPEAKER_01: So I'm right there with you.
- 42:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, I've done very similar things that make no logical sense to a lot of people.
- 42:11SPEAKER_01: No, well, as long as it's to you.
- 42:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's all that matters, really.
- 42:16SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 42:16SPEAKER_01: And I feel like we're moving into, I mean, I know we are, moving into an era where logic and the mind, not to say that they won't be important, but they're becoming less important in the sense of trusting that intuition, tending to your energy, to your frequency.
- 42:39SPEAKER_01: That is the most important currency and the most, it's it's the way that we're going to be like interacting and communicating with each other more.
- 42:48SPEAKER_01: Um, and so I'm curious, like, what is there anything else that you want to share with people that you think, like a message you would want to share with people about how to trust their intuition more if they're having a hard time doing that?
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: So I think the backforth thing is a good start.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: So, you know, the posture that I showed you, and if you you're standing up, your knees a bit bouncy, ask your body questions, and a forward pull is a yes and a backward pull is a no.
- 43:21SPEAKER_00: That's a really good way to start.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: Then I would also advocate meditating, but not listening to an audio.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: I would just start by meditating and maybe trying to focus on an object.
- 43:33SPEAKER_00: So for me, a lotus flower appeared, and that's how I did it.
- 43:36SPEAKER_00: And so training your mind to look at the lotus flower and every time your mind wanders and goes, What should I have for dinner?
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: Come back and look at the and and do that until you you're very strong with that.
- 43:46SPEAKER_00: And then you can start feeling out.
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: So by feeling out, I I the best way to explain it, and I do this all the time, is think of a person and feel out to them and feel out if they're okay.
- 43:58SPEAKER_00: So for me, I will get somebody.
- 44:01SPEAKER_00: If there's something going on or they need me.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: So it's almost like I get a buzzer, like goes beep, beep, beep.
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: And I'll go, Oh, right, why am I thinking about that person?
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: Because it it might have nothing to do with what I'm doing.
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: But if I feel out to them, which I learned to do by doing the meditation, I can see that they need me or there's something going on.
- 44:18SPEAKER_00: And the amount of times I message people and they go, It's so strange, you contacted me.
- 44:21SPEAKER_00: I'm having this happening today.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: And I'm thinking, well, not really, because I got the old beep beep thing going on, so it's not that strange.
- 44:28SPEAKER_00: But that all began because I started with the meditation and then feeling out.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: Because if you are intuitive, the world becomes almost like a giant cobweb or even like fabric on a loom, you know, like a weave.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: And everything is like threads or like the cobweb strands.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: And every time there's a vibration, you can feel it as an intuitive.
- 44:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: So you can feel if something feels off or something feels like it's just happened, or somebody doesn't feel quite right, even though they've not contacted you.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: It it spreads out and out and out, but it takes time and it takes discipline.
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: You have to keep doing it, you have to keep doing the meditation and coming out.
- 45:10SPEAKER_00: You have to do a keep asking the yes and no.
- 45:13SPEAKER_00: It's not something to play with for a bit, it's something to actually incorporate as part of your life.
- 45:18SPEAKER_00: Because your body wants to communicate with you, it knows so much stuff you are ignoring.
- 45:23SPEAKER_00: If you can get that attunement, you're on you're on your way to becoming a great intuitive.
- 45:30SPEAKER_00: But it takes practice.
- 45:32SPEAKER_00: It takes practice.
- 45:33SPEAKER_00: Now I was doing it automatically without realizing I was doing it.
- 45:36SPEAKER_00: But I I I realized also that I was I was quite disciplined about it.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: So I would always meditate just before I went to sleep.
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: Even if I fell asleep part way through, I had my brain was going through that process every day.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: And it's like a muscle.
- 45:49SPEAKER_00: The more you flex it, the stronger it becomes.
- 45:52SPEAKER_01: It's so true.
- 45:54SPEAKER_01: And also, do you feel?
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: I mean, just because I know you so well, do you feel like it's really important to remove distractions?
- 46:03SPEAKER_00: Definitely.
- 46:04SPEAKER_00: So I don't really have social media as such.
- 46:06SPEAKER_00: I'm on LinkedIn and I can't, I don't actually know why, but I got rid of everything else.
- 46:15SPEAKER_01: I don't know why the hell I'm on there, but I am.
- 46:18SPEAKER_00: I mean, I don't hardly ever go on there.
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: I hardly ever go on there.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: But it feels like I should be on something because that's the way of the world.
- 46:26SPEAKER_00: But at one point I was on Instagram and I was on Facebook a long time ago, and uh and that it feels like you're kind of not there, you're you're not in there if you're not on there, if you see what I mean.
- 46:37SPEAKER_00: But in reality, I have found with business particularly, a lot of the time it comes through referrals.
- 46:42SPEAKER_00: So somebody that you have seen will tell somebody else and they come and see you, and then they tell somebody else.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: And I I haven't posted a single thing.
- 46:50SPEAKER_00: I have never advertised my business, Ash, ever.
- 46:53SPEAKER_00: Your emails out to your clients that you did for me ages ago would be, I would say, the very first kind of advertising that I have been involved in.
- 47:01SPEAKER_00: And I didn't even do anything.
- 47:03SPEAKER_00: You did because you're very kind.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: But that is it.
- 47:07SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: That's all I've done.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: It's all been word of mouth.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: And I think everybody's a bit sick of social media because it's all bright colours and white noise and no substance.
- 47:18SPEAKER_00: People want substance these days.
- 47:20SPEAKER_00: They're sick of all the flimflam and the insubstantial little bite-sized nonsense.
- 47:25SPEAKER_00: They want real things and they want authenticity now.
- 47:28SPEAKER_00: They've had enough.
- 47:29SPEAKER_01: It's so true.
- 47:30SPEAKER_01: And isn't it wild, you guys?
- 47:32SPEAKER_01: Everybody listening, like, isn't that so wild to hear that Claire has this incredible business and she's never used social media for it?
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: Like, that just goes to show so many of the lies.
- 47:44SPEAKER_01: I mean, we could talk forever.
- 47:46SPEAKER_01: Um, but so many of the lies that we've been told that we're watching break down.
- 47:50SPEAKER_01: I know you and I talk about it all the time.
- 47:52SPEAKER_01: But like in society, all the things that we've been told that we have to do in order to be successful, in order to be relevant, in order to have to make a difference, even, so much of it is just falling apart, thankfully, because so much of it was based on performance rather than what, you know, authenticity, which I feel as though you and I talk about that quite frequently.
- 48:17SPEAKER_01: And it just goes to show that the more that you trust yourself, like you so clearly do, the more that the right stuff just comes to you.
- 48:25SPEAKER_01: You don't have to force so much.
- 48:28SPEAKER_01: And I feel like everybody just wants that permission right now because everybody, I shouldn't say everybody.
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: A lot of people are tired.
- 48:36SPEAKER_01: They're tired of the game, they're tired of the performance.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: And it is a game and a performance, and it's so everything on social media.
- 48:44SPEAKER_00: I mean, it irritated the life out of me.
- 48:45SPEAKER_00: It was so inauthentic, it was so curated, and it's like everything's so airbrushed, and real life's not like that.
- 48:52SPEAKER_00: Real life's not like that.
- 48:53SPEAKER_00: And I I often treat, well, uh teach people or or do healings and treat people who are like, Well, I feel like I'm not doing anything among life because I go on Facebook and everybody's having a fantastic time.
- 49:03SPEAKER_00: I'm like, but are they really?
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: Because it always reminds me of going to an event with somebody who sat looking bored the whole time but kept taking photographs like they were having a fantastic time.
- 49:14SPEAKER_00: And it wasn't, it wasn't a great night, but it looked busy and it looked like they were having with the drink and everything.
- 49:20SPEAKER_00: And then in between the photographs, they were like sitting like that.
- 49:22SPEAKER_00: And I said, I said to myself, that is social media.
- 49:27SPEAKER_01: And also, can we please touch on this briefly?
- 49:30SPEAKER_01: But I think it's social media is just an extension of um media in general and and Hollywood and like how you can see through all of that so clearly.
- 49:41SPEAKER_01: It is really fun to talk to you about because it has helped me trust my inner knowing and um see through the veil of like the illusions of what we've been sold.
- 49:56SPEAKER_01: Can you share a little bit of like your take on that before I ask you the closing questions?
- 50:01SPEAKER_00: My take on the nonsense that they feed us in the media.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:06SPEAKER_00: Well, so much of it is money driven.
- 50:08SPEAKER_00: It's like this AI thing at the moment where they're saying, you know, the world will end.
- 50:12SPEAKER_00: But I mean, uh I uh I know because of people that I work with that AI has not made the money that it was supposed to make, and they're all panicking a little bit because it's like a big bubble that may burst.
- 50:24SPEAKER_00: So they have to make it relevant again.
- 50:25SPEAKER_00: So what's how are they going to make it relevant again?
- 50:27SPEAKER_00: They're gonna scare the pants off everybody so that everybody goes, oh, AI, oh and it becomes relevant again, which is what they're doing.
- 50:34SPEAKER_00: So they're they're doing it via fear at the moment.
- 50:37SPEAKER_00: But also in the media, you have things that seem like they're fantastic and seem like relationships are wonderful, and it's all part of the PR machine.
- 50:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, I know this because I also work with actors because as a voice teacher, I teach sometimes teach quite well-known actors how to do certain accents for parts.
- 50:54SPEAKER_00: And I hear all the industry gossip.
- 50:56SPEAKER_00: I know exactly what's going on and how it all runs and what happens.
- 51:00SPEAKER_00: So I know that a lot of what we're being fed in the media is utter nonsense.
- 51:04SPEAKER_00: It's the same thing again as I was saying about being at that event with that girl that looked really bored, except for when she's taking her photographs.
- 51:10SPEAKER_00: That is what happens in the media full stop.
- 51:13SPEAKER_00: It's nothing's really happening, but we're being shown this airbrushed glossy version of events that is no way based on reality.
- 51:22SPEAKER_01: God, do you guys hear that?
- 51:24SPEAKER_01: I hope like I think it would be such a fun experiment for every single person listening to start to check in with your intuition when you see something in the media and ask your body if it's true or not, rather than trusting what's actually being written, but actually tune into your body and ask, you even use what Claire just said, the forward and backwards, and like really tune in.
- 51:48SPEAKER_01: That could be a fun, almost a game, because they're playing a game with us, like a game for you to learn how to trust your intuition versus what's being depicted, right?
- 51:59SPEAKER_01: Because yeah, it's it is a game.
- 52:03SPEAKER_01: Do you okay?
- 52:03SPEAKER_01: I want to ask you one more question about that.
- 52:05SPEAKER_01: Do you think that that's gonna continue?
- 52:07SPEAKER_01: Because obviously the the AI thing is scaring the hell out of people, and understandably so, if you've spent a lot of time trusting media, like that's a very scary reality they're speaking of.
- 52:20SPEAKER_01: Um but that extends outwards into so many other things.
- 52:25SPEAKER_01: Obviously, people are into pop culture and Hollywood, and and that extends Hollywood has such a big influence in kind of every other area, uh, strangely enough, of life.
- 52:35SPEAKER_01: Do you feel like that narrative of d essentially depicting lies, which is what's happening, is gonna continue?
- 52:45SPEAKER_01: Or do you think that like as we evolve as humans and everybody's intuitive abilities amplify, that that's gonna burst and change?
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: I think it's it may seem like it has, but it won't have done.
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: So if you go back far enough in Hollywood, you will see that the same thing has always been done.
- 53:06SPEAKER_00: Where uh there'll be might be fake couples put together who seem like they're together, but they're not really together.
- 53:11SPEAKER_00: It's just to get the media and both their profiles go up and everybody wants to see them in the films.
- 53:16SPEAKER_00: That has been going on since Hollywood began.
- 53:18SPEAKER_00: That is not a new trick, that has always been perennial.
- 53:22SPEAKER_00: But it might fake that they are with the zeitgeist, whatever is happening, so that you know it becomes more mindful, more authentic.
- 53:31SPEAKER_00: But in reality, it's always about money with Hollywood.
- 53:34SPEAKER_00: So it will be a fake version of what they see happening in the real world.
- 53:39SPEAKER_00: It will always be a slightly distorted version of what is happening.
- 53:44SPEAKER_00: You just have to look at the 60s.
- 53:46SPEAKER_00: So you look at the 60s and 70s, so it looked like Hollywood had become really sort of, you know, hit to the hit to the culture that was happening, the uh, you know, the the baby boomers culture of you know hippie dum and all the rest of it.
- 54:00SPEAKER_00: And and in reality, not that was not really what was happening.
- 54:03SPEAKER_00: They might be making films that seemed like that, but it was still all about money, and it wasn't about creativity as it should have been, and it that carried on through the 70s, and then you get to the 80s when you look at how very much it was all about money.
- 54:17SPEAKER_00: That had been happening the whole time, they just stopped hiding it.
- 54:20SPEAKER_00: So this is the way it has always been.
- 54:22SPEAKER_00: It it never changes because uh I mean there is so much money in in in that side of media, in all sides of media.
- 54:31SPEAKER_00: Of course, it has to be controlled by people that want to make money, so they will fake it, but they won't really change things.
- 54:39SPEAKER_00: You look at the Me Too movement, I hear in the industry all the time that nothing has really changed.
- 54:44SPEAKER_00: One one of my clients was asked to take all her clothes off in uh an audition in London about two months ago.
- 54:51SPEAKER_01: So that's terrible.
- 54:53SPEAKER_00: For no apparent reason.
- 54:54SPEAKER_00: So this is this still goes on, and that was for something quite big.
- 54:58SPEAKER_00: I'm not talking about some little, you know, little show in Shepherd's Bush.
- 55:02SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about a big program, a big well-known program.
- 55:06SPEAKER_00: So has it changed?
- 55:08SPEAKER_00: No.
- 55:09SPEAKER_00: But on the surface of it, it seems like it has, but it's not.
- 55:14SPEAKER_01: Do you think there's hope for that to change?
- 55:16SPEAKER_01: And also, like, I feel as though since you mentioned AI, I just want to ask one more question about that.
- 55:21SPEAKER_01: Like, what are your thoughts on that?
- 55:26SPEAKER_01: Because so many people are afraid of like losing all their jobs.
- 55:29SPEAKER_01: And, you know, do you sense that AI is gonna be what they're depicting it to be, or do you think it's going to taper off over time?
- 55:39SPEAKER_00: I think the same thing will happen that has happened with social media, where to begin with, everybody thinks it's brilliant, it's gonna make life more exciting, more interesting, and you know, it's it it it means that you don't have to work on writing something and all the rest of it that's happening with AI now.
- 55:57SPEAKER_00: But what I'm finding straight away is that people write things like presentations, they come to me and we start to try and read it together, and your mind just wanders because there's no human behind it.
- 56:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 56:10SPEAKER_00: There's no actual voice behind it.
- 56:12SPEAKER_00: And people say to me, Oh, well, I can program it to sound like me and it will speak like and that's not what happens.
- 56:18SPEAKER_00: I mean, to the point where sometimes it's it's actual drivel, and people haven't read it because they think AI is so good that it's going to be just perfect.
- 56:25SPEAKER_00: We start reading it, they're like, Oh my god, this is terrible, I'm so sorry.
- 56:28SPEAKER_00: And they have to go away away and write it themselves anyway.
- 56:31SPEAKER_00: So, my point being, my brain wanders, and their brain wonders because there's no person behind it, and it's about authenticity again and that that connection.
- 56:40SPEAKER_00: And even though it can do amazing things, and I know that, and there are some things that it wonder it's wonderful for, that that want of a connection, that emotional human connection will never change, we will always want it because it is part of our makeup, and AI will never fake it.
- 57:00SPEAKER_00: So that in itself filters off into all different kinds of of different types of business, different professions, where the people want that connection, and it it will go full circle, they'll introduce AI and think it's all fantastic, and then it it what it the business will go down and they'll wonder why.
- 57:21SPEAKER_00: And then people will say, Well, I I want to speak to a real person, and there you go.
- 57:26SPEAKER_00: So you think it'll taper off eventually.
- 57:28SPEAKER_01: I do, honestly, I do.
- 57:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:31SPEAKER_00: And I think that's why they're trying to frighten everybody because I think that they have realized that people are already getting wise to this.
- 57:37SPEAKER_00: I mean, most people will say, Yeah, AI is good, but it's not good for this, and it's not good for that.
- 57:41SPEAKER_00: And so people are already realising it's not all it was cracked up to be, and it it's been very much hyped.
- 57:48SPEAKER_00: So that's why they are trying to frighten us, because they don't want us to to look behind the curtain, you know, like in Wizard of Oz, where they look behind the curtain, there's just some little fella doing the Yeah, they don't want us to look behind the curtain because that will mean that all that investment and all that money will disappear.
- 58:05SPEAKER_00: And they won't have all the time.
- 58:09SPEAKER_01: Well, it's so interesting because it is doing in some ways the opposite, because I feel like all the fear is actually driving people to want to get off of it because they don't want to be feeding the machines.
- 58:18SPEAKER_01: So it's kind of precisely yeah.
- 58:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 58:20SPEAKER_00: I never use I don't use it at all.
- 58:22SPEAKER_00: I don't yeah, I don't know how I love it.
- 58:24SPEAKER_00: I don't I don't I don't know how.
- 58:27SPEAKER_01: I'm from the olden days, I don't know how I love it.
- 58:30SPEAKER_01: I love that you don't know how.
- 58:31SPEAKER_01: Okay, Claire.
- 58:32SPEAKER_01: Well, obviously we could talk forever.
- 58:34SPEAKER_01: Um, and I know that everybody listening has already gotten so much out of this, and I just want to ask you one two closing questions.
- 58:41SPEAKER_01: One is completely random, and it's okay if you don't have an answer, but I'm such a lover of music, and I think music transports us to other worlds in the most amazing way and also gets us in tune with our soul.
- 58:55SPEAKER_01: And so I'm curious if you could go to any concert to any musician, alive or dead, and you could go tomorrow, anywhere in the world, where would you go, and who would you want to hear?
- 59:07SPEAKER_01: Or watch.
- 59:09SPEAKER_00: I don't really mind where it would be, but I would have loved to have seen John Martin, who was like a folk singer.
- 59:15SPEAKER_00: Uh some of his early albums, like um Um Um One World and Solid Air, are some of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard.
- 59:26SPEAKER_00: And uh what's really sad is I went to Glastonbury Festival one year, which is a very famous uh music festival in the UK.
- 59:32SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 59:32SPEAKER_00: And he was a surprise guest in a tent, like a music tent.
- 59:37SPEAKER_00: And uh it was so busy at the festival that I couldn't get to where he was, and I tried really hard.
- 59:43SPEAKER_00: And I just physically because there were literally hundreds of thousands of people there, I couldn't I couldn't get there, and by the time I got there, he'd finished and I never got to see him, and now he's now he's died, so I will never get to see him.
- 59:55SPEAKER_00: But I I loved him.
- 59:56SPEAKER_00: Uh uh also another album he did was Bless the Weather.
- 59:59SPEAKER_00: Just really beautiful, beautiful music.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_00: So I would have uh most of it written before I was born, but still uh I think some of the most most beautiful sort of folk music that I've ever heard.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_00: It's like folk sort of blues mix, and I would love to have seen him.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love that.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_01: I've never heard of him.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna have to look up his stuff after this.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_01: Um, okay.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_01: Well, Claire, I know everybody has loved hearing everything you have to share, and they definitely are interested in your work.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_01: So, where can people find you?
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_01: What's the best way for people to get in contact with you and to be able to book one of your amazing sessions, which you guys I cannot recommend enough.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_00: So I've got two websites.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_00: One is for m just for my healing, and uh that's pulsehealing.co.uk.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_00: And my other website is Clairefleetneedle.co.uk, I think.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_00: I think that's what I think.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_01: I'll put it in the show notes so everybody will be able to just click the link.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_01: But tell them really briefly, since we've talked about the healing, just what are the voice lessons about so everybody knows?
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_00: So the voice lessons depend on what the person wants.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it might be, as I've previously mentioned, an actor that wants to learn a certain accent.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_00: Sometimes people come to me because they feel they have a block with communication and with the voices and they don't know why, or they're not able to express themselves or speak in a way that they think they should be able to.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_00: And uh often that will lead to doing some sort of healing work to remove whatever the block is.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it's just helping somebody have the confidence to see themselves as they really are, and to be able to speak as they really are, because uh a lot of the time, especially uh I don't want this to sound sexist, it's not meant to at all, but a lot of women minimise themselves and it's meant that it's almost like they're they're silenced by the Western culture in a way, and they never are as expressive as they should be because they're almost apologising for being here, if you see what I mean.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_00: And even though even though women might say I don't do that, a lot of women really do, and they don't even know that they're doing it.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_00: So my job is to help them find the voice and to become, you know, female warriors, a bit of a bit of woman power, so to speak.
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_00: So there's there's there's that, yeah.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_00: So uh it it it takes many forms.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_00: I get people who often come to me for voice, and that's not what they need anyway, they need healing, um and that's what we end up doing.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_00: Well, that's what happened kind of with you that it was a block that needed to be shifted, and it completely changed my life, just that one session.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_01: But I've since done so many of you guys with Claire, and it's all been incredibly transformative, and I cannot recommend her enough.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_01: And Claire and I are going to be doing stuff together in the future.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_01: We're still figuring out what that is, so stay tuned for that.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_01: Um, Claire, is there anything else that you'd like to share with everybody before we before we hop off?
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_00: Um I think I'd just like to say to everybody be kind to each other and love each other because it's a hard, cold world out there, and if there was more kindness and love, it would be a much nicer place.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_00: It caught it costs nothing.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_01: And it makes such a change.
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_01: It makes such a change.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_01: It's so true.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_01: You're the best.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_01: I love you.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_01: Thank you for being here.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_01: And bye for now, you guys.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_01: Thank you for having me.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_01: We did it.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_01: And I promise you that I won't ask you again.
- 1:03:26SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 1:03:28SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 1:03:28SPEAKER_01: I could tell you were like, I don't want to do this again.
- 1:03:31SPEAKER_00: No, because the the reason being because I find it I know I seem like I'm on and everything, but I don't like talking about myself.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_00: And I also I it drains me, I get really tired.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_00: So I'll be really tired now.
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_00: But that's not your fault.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_00: That's that's not your fault.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_00: I understand there were there were issues, and that's that's fine.
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_00: I think that was the best one anyway.
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_00: So I think we've done all right there.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_00: By a landslide.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_01: Like I feel like that was not that there was anything wrong with the other ones, but I just feel like where you are in the story that you shared, there's just a different level of clarity and like power coming through you that is going to reach so many people.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_00: Well, good to hope so.
- 1:04:13unknown: Yeah.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_01: That will be good.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_01: Like your Yeah, like your story.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_01: I so many women are going to be able to relate to that.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_01: So I think if nothing else, then that was the reason why we had to re-record it, you know?
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: It's a revolution.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_01: It's a revolution.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_01: I'm recording with my friend Catherine after this.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_01: Who, yeah, it's very interesting.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_01: We've had I'm gonna, I'm just gonna leave this because I don't wanna I think if I press off, then we'll stop talking.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_01: But I won't obviously include this.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_01: Catherine and I have been friends for over 20 years and I love her so much.
- 1:04:52SPEAKER_01: And there's this energy between us, and I wanted to talk to you about it because I intuitively know what it is, and I think I've finally just become comfortable with what it is and not needing to like change it or even have a conversation about it.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_01: Um but I've realized that there's like always been this undercurrent of a little bit of like jealousy is really what it is.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_00: I knew you were gonna say that.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_01: And she always ends up like copying me in a weird way, but like she's been very famous.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_01: Like she's she's been famous in the yoga world.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_01: Like she was in the yoga world when it exploded, and she was one of the teachers that was literally like traveling the world and on every magazine cover, and then she married a guy, and I married them, strangely enough.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_01: Like I was the officiant, and I told her that it Yeah, and I was like, I tried to get her to not do it because I knew it was bad.
- 1:05:54SPEAKER_01: Like it was.
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_01: Anyways, she ended up Like singing for him at her wedding and surprising him, which is what I did for my husband before.
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_01: And then, yeah, there's just been like these weird things.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_01: But then she ended up leaving him and marrying a woman.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_01: And she just went through a terrible divorce with that woman.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_01: Like terrible.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_01: Oh sorry.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_01: And I've told her to like do a session with you.
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_01: I gifted her one, like whenever she decides to do it.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_01: Um, because that woman was also very that woman was very famous on ESPN.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_01: And she's like an extreme narcissist.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_01: Um God anyway, it's been wild because Catherine and I went to go see Practical Magic 2, the movie.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_01: Oh, was it good?
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_01: Oh I'm looking forward to that.
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_01: I loved it so much more than the first one, and I'm gonna tell you why in a second.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_01: But while we were there, like we were having this deep conversation, and I was like, maybe she's cross, but there's like a little bit of darkness that I sense from her, and this isn't judgment, this is me wanting to talk to you about it from an intuitive standpoint.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, is this just because there's a jealousy that she feels with me, or is it like her own darkness that I'm sensing?
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_01: Do you get what I'm saying?
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_01: I think she's a deeply insecure person.
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_00: Well, that can make it slightly dangerous because people like that can be a bit toxic if they don't deal with it.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_00: And I think that's the darkness you're talking about.
- 1:07:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_01: Uh like she just wrote an article in her Substack and actually quoted me this time.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_01: Whereas like in the past, she's written my words word for word and like published a book about it.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, maybe she's growing past that because I do love her so much as a person.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_01: And but I've realized like we can't be as close as we used to because of that.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_01: Like we're close, but we can't, it's not like I can't see her every week because there's just something there that isn't coming from my end, you know, but like I also not something I can change.
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 1:08:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know exactly what you mean.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_00: I've had so many relationships with women like that where you you find yourself in a competition you didn't remember entering.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_01: Isn't it so weird?
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_00: Honestly, it's happened to me so many it's happening to me at the moment with somebody.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_00: It's just like whatever.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_00: I mean I've a friend.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 1:08:42SPEAKER_00: Just competitive, like doing the same things that I've done and yeah, whatever.
- 1:08:48SPEAKER_00: Whatever.
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_00: I don't mind if it makes them happy, but the thing is it doesn't.
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_01: Well, that's just it.
- 1:08:55SPEAKER_00: Because she can't be me, you've got to be you.
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, of course.
- 1:09:00SPEAKER_01: That's the whole point.
- 1:09:03SPEAKER_00: Precisely.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_00: But that's her journey.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_00: But if she's if she starts to be toxic in any way, distance yourself.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_00: That's been my experience.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_00: Sometimes people grow out of it, and it sounds to me like she's shifting that way.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_00: But it's dishonest to steal your words and I fell out with somebody for doing that.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_00: Uh to steal your words and make them their own.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_00: Oh sorry, somebody's ringing the doorbell.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_00: Could I just I won't be secondary shoes, I need shoes.
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_00: It's all right, Craig's there.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_00: I didn't realise he was here.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, I love it.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_00: Craig's gonna get it.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_00: Sorry, I I didn't realise he was in the house.
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_00: He'd got gone out.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_00: I didn't realise he was here.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_01: Anyway, I love it.
- 1:10:02SPEAKER_01: Well, you guys have a wonderful day.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_01: Thank you for being willing to do this recording again.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_00: That's all right, no problem.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_00: Hopefully it'll work out.
- 1:10:10SPEAKER_00: I noticed that your picture went a bit fuzzy on a few occasions, but there'll be enough there for you to use for social media, I'm sort of sure.
- 1:10:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and so did yours at some point, but but when I go back and look at those recordings, they're always fine.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_01: You shared so many wonderful things that I can't wait for people to book tons of sessions with you because I know that's what's gonna happen.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:10:35SPEAKER_01: I'm excited for you.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_01: I'm excited.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 1:10:39SPEAKER_01: Well, you have a great rest of your day, and I love you.
- 1:10:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love you too.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_01: I hope that your meeting with Catherine goes well as well.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_01: I think it'll be fine.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's what I was gonna tell you.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_01: Uh, Practical Magic 2 is amazing.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_01: Oh, and you know why I like it?
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_01: Because it's not as dark as the first one.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't know when the last time was you watched the first one, but I just re-watched it in anticipation of watching this the second one.
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_01: And it's kind of dark, like how they kill the baby.
- 1:11:07SPEAKER_00: I like the darkness of it.
- 1:11:13SPEAKER_01: See, I don't like that.
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_01: I'm not cut out for that stuff, but it's not as normal.
- 1:11:19SPEAKER_00: But if you know anything about witchcraft, you know why they did that.
- 1:11:22SPEAKER_00: But anyway, that's uh that's by the by.
- 1:11:24SPEAKER_00: But I'm I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_00: I I definitely will have to watch it.
- 1:11:27SPEAKER_00: Sorry, I've got the scar in my eye.
- 1:11:29SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, you guys should go see it.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_01: It's really, it's really, really good.
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_01: Like, I can't wait to watch it again, and I can't wait to watch it with Sienna.
- 1:11:38SPEAKER_00: Brilliant.
- 1:11:39SPEAKER_00: Anyway, I better go.
- 1:11:40SPEAKER_00: But so okay, love you.
- 1:11:42SPEAKER_00: All right, I love you too.
- 1:11:43SPEAKER_00: See you soon.
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_00: Bye.
