SoftBank Group-owned chip company, ARM has sued Qualcomm for breach of contract and trademark infringement. Conflict centres on Qualcomm's acquisition of chip startup Nuvia last year. Nuvia developed chip designs using Arm licences and they can't be transferred to Qualcomm without permission.
