SPEAKER_00: We get a very nice, lovely um reuniting between Goku and his boy Kay Rillin, and then they all sign up ready to go to the tournament.

SPEAKER_00: Piccolo saves some people from some falling stuff, but then also is kind of a jerk about it as he walks away.

SPEAKER_00: It was a very heartfelt uh reunion between those two guys.

SPEAKER_00: Because you if you weren't if you don't remember, like Krillin was never got to say goodbye to Goku.

SPEAKER_00: He was killed before like before Goku could get to him, and never got to say thank you to Goku after he saved him.

SPEAKER_00: Uh or you know, brought him back from the dead because Goku was already on the lookout and wasn't like wasn't allowed to come back, basically.

SPEAKER_01: And so go in order to revive everyone, Goku had to sacrifice uh three years of his life.

SPEAKER_00: And so with that, like Krillin just you know was alive again and was like, I don't know what happened, and then everybody told him, and he never got a chance to say thank you.

SPEAKER_00: Like there is like cutaways to like I guess the the running B plot is what are what is Roshi and the girls plus uh uh oolong doing, like they're just kind of in the masses, and then oolong and poor kind of fly in to check on the results.

SPEAKER_00: We're smashing the A button, and so does it get into the A-plot for the for the boys and girls at home.

SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I mean we talked for through most of the A-plot of like the first 10-ish minutes, I would say, of episode one, where it's mostly just everyone showing up for the tournament, realizing that oh yeah, three years have passed for everybody, so everybody kind of looks different.
